Mika Obayashi (b.1995) is a fiber and sculpture artist from Michigan. She earned her BA from Amherst College in 2019 and her MFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture in 2025. She has exhibited her work in the US and Japan with recent solo shows at Carvalho in Brooklyn and 5U Space in Philadelphia. She has been generously supported by grants from the American Craft Council (2023), the Massachusetts Cultural Council (2023), and the St. Botolph Club Foundation (2020).
