- 0:02Speaker 2: Podcast is rated M from marijuana, no miners.
- 0:05Speaker 1: But your audience is only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: You could do audio books. You could record smut that
- 0:12Speaker 2: I read.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that'd be fun. I wants to record audiobooks. Audiobooks. Huh,
- 0:17Speaker 1: you read smut mostly. You call it smut. I call
- 0:21Speaker 1: it smut. Sound like such a white guy.
- 0:23Speaker 3: You are.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Very very well you're reading. Sure, I read smut. They
- 0:28Speaker 2: call it spicy fantasy, and that's what I read, and
- 0:33Speaker 2: it's filthy.
- 0:34Speaker 1: So what's that a bunch of vampires at?
- 0:37Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 0:37Speaker 1: Really? Why vampires?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Vampires? There's werewolves, there's fairies, there's shape shifters, there's witches,
- 0:44Speaker 2: there's Can I ask you something? Why do you find
- 0:47Speaker 2: that hot?
- 0:48Speaker 1: Like? What's so like sexy.
- 0:50Speaker 2: About a vampire? A fucking fairy? Or like the danger
- 0:53Speaker 2: aspect of it? The unknown? There's something sexy about that?
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but why is a vampire danger? A vampire? It's
- 1:03Speaker 1: a killer, but it won't kill one a right, Mike
- 1:07Speaker 1: saw Twilight. I'm starting to get there now, I'm diving
- 1:09Speaker 1: into it.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Twilight.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's my boy. I'm a guy that's watched all
- 1:14Speaker 1: of them. That's one time I've watched them several times.
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's there's no.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Way Jo'll ever watch it.
- 1:21Speaker 5: No, I think I did watch the first one and
- 1:23Speaker 5: the second one because I was in like the fifth grade.
- 1:25Speaker 5: It was, you know, it's fifth grade, sixth grade, that
- 1:27Speaker 5: hot thing to watch. I think I watched it with
- 1:29Speaker 5: my mother on like a Friday night or whatever.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It was my daughter's diapers, like I just had a
- 1:36Speaker 2: baby when the first one came out, and I dove
- 1:39Speaker 2: into it after, like during my maternity leave. I dove
- 1:42Speaker 2: into do you read the book? You read the book,
- 1:45Speaker 2: and then I read the books. I saw the movie
- 1:46Speaker 2: for the first movie, and then I read the books
- 1:48Speaker 2: before I saw the rest of the movies.
- 1:50Speaker 1: But there's something about you're a big reader. Right, Oh,
- 1:54Speaker 1: I'm such a Joel's grade. He used to be a
- 1:56Speaker 1: big reader. He told me. Was that green eggs and
- 1:59Speaker 1: ham you were talking about last week?
- 2:00Speaker 3: Well, he.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Goes, it's so hard to think that I would be
- 2:06Speaker 2: a reader or something like that. I used to be
- 2:08Speaker 2: a reader, and you were like green eggs and ham
- 2:10Speaker 2: or something like that.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'm like, I like that. That's your example.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Defense.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I am wearing a doctor.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You are wearing a doctor shirt and doctor sus Green
- 2:19Speaker 2: Eggs and Ham was my absolute favorite.
- 2:22Speaker 5: No, everybody has their memory of reading books like that back.
- 2:26Speaker 5: I mean, I feel like I don't know, naturally, the
- 2:28Speaker 5: older that I got, the less I enjoyed reading. But
- 2:30Speaker 5: there was a period, especially when I was in middle school,
- 2:32Speaker 5: where I would have considered myself a reader, like seventh
- 2:35Speaker 5: eighth grade. There was always the time in like English
- 2:37Speaker 5: class when you were younger, where you would have.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Like the S S R.
- 2:41Speaker 5: SO saying silent reading, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, and you
- 2:47Speaker 5: just got to like sit there and read. So if
- 2:49Speaker 5: I found a good enough book I would read, I
- 2:52Speaker 5: was good, but I'd be like reading.
- 2:53Speaker 1: About like you know, Elvis and Michael Jackson and the Stars.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Stephen King, like I was reading it and Misery. I
- 3:02Speaker 2: was reading those books.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Look what I have here?
- 3:05Speaker 2: The number ones?
- 3:06Speaker 5: Look and this. I forget where I was. Maybe I
- 3:08Speaker 5: was at a bookstore, shocking, I don't know. I came
- 3:11Speaker 5: across this book and thought I.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Should read this.
- 3:12Speaker 5: The Number Ones twenty chart topping hits that reveal the
- 3:15Speaker 5: history of pop music by Tom Ready.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I see it. No, it's it looks like it doesn't
- 3:22Speaker 2: I'm looking at it. I believe it real.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I would read. That's a real book. I know a book.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Why can't I read that? We believe you. I want
- 3:28Speaker 1: to be able to read it?
- 3:29Speaker 2: What I can't want to read it? I do?
- 3:30Speaker 1: How long have you had that book?
- 3:33Speaker 2: I feel like this is a therapy session. Do you
- 3:35Speaker 2: take credit cards or wait? Wait, wait wait, Read's going
- 3:41Speaker 2: to say he's paying us. I was I accept Venmo
- 3:45Speaker 2: and Zell. Yeah, yeah, you want money for the therapy session.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you. Well, why can't
- 3:51Speaker 2: you read a book at length like that? I think
- 3:54Speaker 2: it's just you can't focus on much. I think you're
- 3:56Speaker 2: easily distracted. That's all it was. Have you seen him
- 3:59Speaker 2: in the studio?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Word him for a while?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, he's all over the place, constantly moving,
- 4:04Speaker 2: and then we'll walk in and he's perched on his
- 4:06Speaker 2: stool like a little monkey.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I do shit like that. It's kind Yeah, it's a weird. Yes,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I know how you said. I've seen it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Give the give the visual of this. What am I doing?
- 4:16Speaker 2: You're perching like perchaing like a monkey on a tree
- 4:19Speaker 2: getting ready to peel open a nana.
- 4:21Speaker 1: At first, it was like an owl type thing you
- 4:23Speaker 1: were doing like cock cock that's not what they say.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Cuckoo cuckoo? What oh olo? Oh see?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Now you make me question my own reality. Like if
- 4:34Speaker 2: I've ever heard that before, They're going to pop out
- 4:36Speaker 2: of my head. Right, Ckie, you were in the forest today,
- 4:38Speaker 2: weren't you walking around? Coo coo coo coo coo.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Did you hear some of the shop. So this is
- 4:43Speaker 1: what I was excited to be part of, Like.
- 4:45Speaker 2: To talk about cuckoo cocko.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Well, I don't know where that was going.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm not sure, but do you even really want to know?
- 4:52Speaker 1: No? In other news, here's I forgot what we were
- 4:55Speaker 1: talking about. Anyway, I give you something else to talk

- 6:19Speaker 2: Well, Okayucky, I can't believe you've never ever had a
- 6:21Speaker 2: magic eraser before.
- 6:23Speaker 1: All right, see, so like look at that. Wow, that
- 6:25Speaker 1: is pretty good. Look at the top of my shoe.

- 6:32Speaker 1: I mean, is that a what your toilet is? It
- 6:34Speaker 1: could be whiter. Then a lot of things have been
- 6:36Speaker 1: driving me nuts.
- 6:38Speaker 2: What's been driving you out?
- 6:39Speaker 1: Oh? Bob Holder calls me too much? Just kidding. Hey,
- 6:43Speaker 1: this is Becka. Everybody, I'm Becker. That's go over there.
- 6:46Speaker 5: It's not a Blaze of Confused podcast unless we mentioned
- 6:49Speaker 5: Bob Holder.
- 6:51Speaker 1: This is episode eleven.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Let's go Holder.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 7:00Speaker 4: the trivia podcast where the questions are high, and so
- 7:04Speaker 4: are they hate. Time to spluck your curiosity and light
- 7:08Speaker 4: up some knowledge. The Blazed and Confused Podcast starts now.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, Episode eleven. Our podcast is officially a preteen.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It's appropriate. It's very with you too, it's very appropriate.
- 7:26Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Becca as a as a mom our podcast is officially
- 7:30Speaker 5: a preteen.
- 7:30Speaker 1: So we officially suck. We're at the age there.
- 7:32Speaker 2: It's just awful, right yeah, no, no, no, yes and no,
- 7:40Speaker 2: a thorough yes and no. I will not say one
- 7:42Speaker 2: or the other because I love my son. But there
- 7:46Speaker 2: are times, there are moments where it's like sudden, you
- 7:49Speaker 2: have first mama's last button.
- 7:51Speaker 5: Me personally, that's when I was the biggest pain in
- 7:53Speaker 5: the asses when I was around there.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But then I leveled out when I was in high school,
- 7:57Speaker 1: like the last time that I you know, because it
- 7:58Speaker 1: was all about.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Getting written up, per se in high school, when you
- 8:01Speaker 5: got like the good old fashioned misconduct report and you
- 8:03Speaker 5: got called down to the principal's office and it was
- 8:05Speaker 5: like the form that your parents had, you know, Like.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I stopped getting on of those.
- 8:09Speaker 5: I did, but in middle school, in elementary school, and
- 8:11Speaker 5: I stopped getting them like freshman year of high school?
- 8:14Speaker 5: Were they four stupid shit like cursing, big shocker, big shocker.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Big shocker, talking during assembly or something.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Talking talking back? Where did you pick this up though?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Where was the cursing happening?
- 8:28Speaker 2: Oh? Was it happening at home? Or mom and dad
- 8:30Speaker 2: into it? No?
- 8:31Speaker 5: Not necessarily. I mean my parents cursed, but not as
- 8:34Speaker 5: bad as as you. I really don't know. I don't
- 8:38Speaker 5: know where it came from. I don't I tell people
- 8:40Speaker 5: that since my mom was a teacher, I didn't get
- 8:42Speaker 5: away with shit at home. So when I got to school,
- 8:45Speaker 5: like I had to be rambunctious and like get it
- 8:47Speaker 5: out of my system, because when I went home it was, you.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Know, how to get it out of your system? It
- 8:51Speaker 2: was almost pent up energy that wasn't channeled.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Tent up that needed to be said, you know, and you.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Didn't realize yet you were too young, you know, to
- 9:00Speaker 2: take care of business.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I remember getting sent to the principal's office for like
- 9:04Speaker 5: telling a girl to shut the fuck up on the bus,
- 9:06Speaker 5: like that kind of stuff.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I kind of did something similar, like I smacked a
- 9:11Speaker 2: girl in the face on the bush jus lunch room,
- 9:14Speaker 2: no one else watching. These were big groups. Oh you
- 9:16Speaker 2: like to entertain big groups of people too, yeah, telling
- 9:19Speaker 2: oh look at that jokes? Were you look at class
- 9:22Speaker 2: clown type or No.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I would consider myself the class clown.
- 9:25Speaker 5: However, the high school senior superlatives, I didn't make it
- 9:29Speaker 5: on any.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Of those lists, and I'm pissed about it to this day.
- 9:32Speaker 5: You know what, I was working practically full time when
- 9:35Speaker 5: I was seventeen, when I was a senior in high school,
- 9:37Speaker 5: and I didn't get most likely to succeed like I like, I.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Think about this from time to time. Thing, bitch, I
- 9:43Speaker 1: was succeeding.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You were so did Why did you need the label
- 9:46Speaker 2: for it?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Watch?
- 9:46Speaker 1: You need the validation?
- 9:47Speaker 2: And I guess I did the same thing with class clown.
- 9:49Speaker 5: I don't remember who the class phns were, but I
- 9:51Speaker 5: feel like I was funnier.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I don't know, maybe not. Who knows, little salty, I'm
- 9:55Speaker 1: a little salty. How many years ago is that? Now
- 9:57Speaker 1: you've got ten years ago you graduated.
- 10:00Speaker 5: It's just like I think often about how I applied
- 10:02Speaker 5: for the job at the Apple Store and I didn't
- 10:04Speaker 5: get it.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I could sell iPhones. What they call those people geniuses.
- 10:08Speaker 5: That's I wouldn't want to didn't get it, though I would,
- 10:11Speaker 5: I wouldn't want to be one.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Of those played Mike played Mikey.
- 10:15Speaker 5: But I wouldn't want to work at the genius bar.
- 10:17Speaker 5: That's people that fix it computers. I don't want to
- 10:18Speaker 5: fix it computers. I want to sell and not even that.
- 10:21Speaker 5: I really rather be the person that you know when
- 10:23Speaker 5: you go to the Apple Store and you walk in
- 10:25Speaker 5: and you say to that first initial person, Hi, I
- 10:27Speaker 5: am here for.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah blah, and they say, yeah, go
- 10:29Speaker 1: stand over here. I want to be that person. That's it.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I want that job. Yeah, it seems pretty easy. Then
- 10:35Speaker 1: how is that selling apples? I don't think you need
- 10:37Speaker 1: to be a genius for that job, so I think
- 10:39Speaker 1: you're good.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 10:46Speaker 1: You've listened to our shows.
- 10:49Speaker 2: You're not family friendly, and I had to listen. I
- 10:51Speaker 2: listened when we were driving around in the car, and
- 10:52Speaker 2: then you were extremely funny. But it was all about
- 10:54Speaker 2: Bob Holder.
- 10:55Speaker 5: He listens every week just for his name, exactly nice.
- 10:58Speaker 5: And then if we don't mention his name, and he
- 11:00Speaker 5: tells us it sucked. Little does he know he's never
- 11:03Speaker 5: being invited back. Now he knows. Let's go to the
- 11:07Speaker 5: rapid round, shall we? All right, Becka, you know you're
- 11:09Speaker 5: answering these questions for the rapid round.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Run.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I'm going to try to answer these questions for the
- 11:13Speaker 2: rapid round.
- 11:14Speaker 5: So we put sixty seconds on the clock, okay, and
- 11:17Speaker 5: you know you answer what you count?
- 11:18Speaker 2: All right? Can I take a heit of this before?
- 11:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Oh, it's encouraged. Here, let's all do this.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Let's let's all do that, right break.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's like that seventies show when they all sit in
- 11:26Speaker 1: that circle together and they all.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Smile, love that, and then the point of view is
- 11:30Speaker 2: like from the bottom up.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Hanging down the street, there's a trivia question. What band?
- 11:37Speaker 1: What band? Does that song? The same old thing we did?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Let's watch it yesterday. I saw the band name and
- 11:44Speaker 1: I was like, that's right, dog to you.
- 11:49Speaker 2: We're all all right, We're all all right. Hello, hello Wisconsin.
- 11:56Speaker 1: We need to get out that. I can't remember. You
- 11:58Speaker 1: really don't know. I can't remember. I know it, but
- 11:59Speaker 1: I I just literally just saw it on my screen yesterday.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I feel like it's on the tip of my tongue,
- 12:03Speaker 2: but I just can't.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Cheap trick, cheap trick. Thank you.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Okay, rapid round time? Are you ready?
- 12:10Speaker 3: The game begins in three?
- 12:16Speaker 5: What planet has the most moons? And No, it's not
- 12:19Speaker 5: Ranus Pluto?
- 12:21Speaker 1: No, No. What long running TV series is set in
- 12:24Speaker 1: the fictional town of Springfield The Simpsons? Got it? What's
- 12:28Speaker 1: the Latin phrase that means seize the day carpet? Very good?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Got it? What is the term for a fear of
- 12:33Speaker 1: spiders a rackmophobia? Got it?
- 12:35Speaker 5: What's the first commercially successful video game that's a pretty

- 12:49Speaker 2: Hawaii?
- 12:50Speaker 3: No?
- 12:51Speaker 1: Close? But no, in which sport would you use a
- 12:53Speaker 1: racket and a shuttlecock? Had I even put in a note?
- 12:58Speaker 1: What does a note say, Joel? Joel will laugh at
- 13:01Speaker 1: the word shuttle cat? Next one, what term describes the
- 13:07Speaker 1: supposed ability to move objects with the mind?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Uh?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Telekinetic?
- 13:12Speaker 1: That's right, that's right, Yeah, you got it? What is
- 13:14Speaker 1: eight times twelve? So close? Anyway?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Answered six ninety six?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Got it? Whoam?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Wow, you're a smart cookie.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, wow wow?
- 13:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 13:30Speaker 5: So what planet has the most moves? You've got that
- 13:32Speaker 5: one wrong. It's Saturn.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Ah, dang it. Yeah, I needed a clue on that one.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Simpson's live in Springfield. She's the day carpet DM.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Which US state had the most active volcanoes? That was Alaska. See,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I never would have gotten the fear of fighters.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I've heard of a rachnophobia, but I know that's the
- 13:50Speaker 2: movie a racknophobia.
- 13:51Speaker 5: No, I don't do movies. You should know this, but

- 13:57Speaker 2: Well, that's very valid. Can argue with you.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Now we have questions for each other. Are you ready
- 14:05Speaker 1: to be our lifeline if we need you?
- 14:08Speaker 3: All right? Question number one?
- 14:11Speaker 1: All right, dude, who was the first president to live
- 14:14Speaker 1: in the White House? Uh? Who was the first president

- 14:25Speaker 1: No, just in case he might need you not I mean,
- 14:29Speaker 1: I mean.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I've definitely asked this at my various true of
- 14:34Speaker 5: the events over the years, and you'd think that.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I've information and it's just not the case.
- 14:40Speaker 3: It's not.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Thomas Jefferson. No, no, No, you want to try another guest.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Anybody was Jefferson a president?

- 14:57Speaker 2: Jackson's on the twenty And he wasn't a president? Or
- 15:00Speaker 2: was he? Or am I just really kind of.
- 15:03Speaker 1: No, you're right, one of those guys wasn't a president.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah, one of them wasn't. I saw Hamilton. All right, Franklin,
- 15:12Speaker 2: this is not for the president. He wasn't a president.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I know that.

- 15:45Speaker 2: John Adams.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I got it wrong. Wow, like a lost and I'm
- 15:54Speaker 1: so sorry.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I got really lolascinating that I was focusing on this
- 16:00Speaker 2: escape that he's got in his TV in the background,
- 16:02Speaker 2: Like we're in a fucking store right now, and I'm
- 16:04Speaker 2: watching you, going, Okay, they're doing their thing. Remember you're
- 16:08Speaker 2: the guest, all right, Like I'm reminding myself.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Meanwhile, I left my body about twenty seconds ago.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah, boy, for somebody that left their body, you're
- 16:17Speaker 5: certainly hogging the joint here.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Oh sorry. But all the question was who was the
- 16:22Speaker 1: first president to live in the White House? It was
- 16:24Speaker 1: John Adams. It most people think that it's you know,
- 16:26Speaker 1: George Washington. No, yeah, but he only kind of what
- 16:29Speaker 1: was he was like overseeing the construction? As a bonus question,
- 16:32Speaker 1: which president was John Adams?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Wasn't he like the fourth No.
- 16:37Speaker 5: He's up there isn't he Isn't he like the tenth? No,
- 16:41Speaker 5: he was the second. Can you name all the presidents? No,
- 16:44Speaker 5: there's a lot of people that can do that because
- 16:46Speaker 5: there's like.
- 16:46Speaker 1: A song, you know, Yeah, they can rattle them off
- 16:48Speaker 1: like that.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Not just like it with the states. There's a states too,
- 16:51Speaker 5: sing it.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Can you know that?
- 16:52Speaker 2: I don't know that. I'm Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Ioway, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevidea,

- 17:43Speaker 2: Fifth grade? I had a music teacher in fifth grade,
- 17:46Speaker 2: and that was like the entire year we practiced that song.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yep. Is there a song you had to learn for anything,
- 17:53Speaker 1: like for historical purposes or anything like that. I remember
- 17:55Speaker 1: I got the preamble and yeah, oh yeah, I like
- 17:57Speaker 1: the Schoolhouse rock Star. I know some of those. And
- 17:59Speaker 1: my teacher years ago, he said, you're gonna be like
- 18:01Speaker 1: forty years old one day and you're gonna remember this
- 18:04Speaker 1: and you're gonna be like I remember him saying.
- 18:08Speaker 5: I remember one of the teachers that I had in
- 18:10Speaker 5: fourth grade that listens to this podcast regularly, mister Spencer,
- 18:13Speaker 5: my fourth grade teacher.
- 18:14Speaker 1: He had.
- 18:15Speaker 5: There was this computer thing online where it was like
- 18:18Speaker 5: music videos for the math lessons, and there would be
- 18:21Speaker 5: these songs. So I swear to God, I remember the
- 18:24Speaker 5: song for like the lines. It was like the line song.
- 18:27Speaker 5: It was like, the lines aren't everywhere, that's foreshore, in
- 18:31Speaker 5: buildings and in roads, even in nature. Lines can be
- 18:35Speaker 5: found in most everything they see because they shape the
- 18:40Speaker 5: world in front of me. And it was like horizontal
- 18:44Speaker 5: lines straight up and right, pal lines up and down
- 18:48Speaker 5: to the sky, Intersecting lines cross all the time. Parallel
- 18:53Speaker 5: lines never touched the other lines and it was like
- 18:55Speaker 5: a perpendicular lines was my favorite, secked at right angles.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Do do do do do do do do do do
- 19:04Speaker 1: do well done, Dede, you really surprised.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That we're all full of like little secret talents, Mikey.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I got the preamble.
- 19:15Speaker 5: That's a good one, though, the schoolhouse Rocke one goes
- 19:17Speaker 5: we the people, in order to fall more perfect union?
- 19:22Speaker 6: Is that was justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide ya the
- 19:28Speaker 6: common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings
- 19:34Speaker 6: of liberty for ourselves and our prosterity.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's wrong. And the bblish this Constitution for the United
- 19:47Speaker 1: States of americ Uh. That's it. That's all I've got.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That was good too.
- 19:53Speaker 3: That was good question too.
- 19:57Speaker 1: What's the name for a triangle with all so it's
- 20:00Speaker 1: the same length, So it's not like an is ascles?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Because that's like the weird looking one that is wrong? Okay?
- 20:08Speaker 1: Is it like a say it one more time? What's
- 20:11Speaker 1: the name for a triangle with all sides the same length?
- 20:16Speaker 1: An equal ladder? O? God, where did I pull that
- 20:23Speaker 1: one out of them? You know where equalateral?
- 20:29Speaker 2: Well died well?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Because you know how you want me to explain my thinking?
- 20:33Speaker 5: Yeah, because you said all the sides were equal or
- 20:36Speaker 5: the same, same, the same equal.
- 20:41Speaker 1: You really worked it out, right, I really, I really
- 20:43Speaker 1: thought it through.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Little dog.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I'm so proud of him. It's my buddy.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It's entertaining, condescending and fantastic all at the same time,
- 20:55Speaker 2: and with such love, love, absolutely so much love.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Question can you spell equilateral? Jeez? E q U I
- 21:06Speaker 1: L A t R A L.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I heard it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Something like that? Question three? All right? Which weighs more
- 21:18Speaker 1: a kilogram of feathers or a kilogram of steel? Your mom?
- 21:26Speaker 5: Sorry, missus Becker, I know you're listening now. I like
- 21:29Speaker 5: you a lot. You're a wonderful woman.
- 21:30Speaker 1: You know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 21:33Speaker 2: He's a wonderful mama.
- 21:35Speaker 5: You can't go wrong with your mom joke. Sometimes you
- 21:37Speaker 5: need them. You know which ways more?
- 21:40Speaker 1: Your mom or your mom?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Is it?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Your mom? Correct?
- 21:54Speaker 4: All right?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Which weighs more a killo ram of feathers or a
- 22:02Speaker 1: kilogram of steel? What do you want to do? You
- 22:05Speaker 1: think that you might want to use your lifeline? Possibly?
- 22:08Speaker 1: What weighs more a kilogram? A kilogram of feathers or
- 22:14Speaker 1: a kilogram of steel. See, you know, I'll tell.
- 22:17Speaker 5: You why he picked this question because he knows I
- 22:19Speaker 5: don't do measurements.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I don't know how measurements.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Says like, I don't do this, I don't do no,
- 22:25Speaker 3: but I really don't.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't know how measurements work. Yeah, but just even
- 22:30Speaker 1: even even.
- 22:30Speaker 5: When it comes to, you know, a quarter or an
- 22:32Speaker 5: eighth of X, Y and z, I will normally say,
- 22:35Speaker 5: just give me one hundred bucks worth.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Of a day. Maybe use your life. I'll use my lifeline.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I don't know kill a wat of what?
- 22:42Speaker 2: It's a kilogram of feathers and a kilogram of steel is.
- 22:46Speaker 1: A kilogram very small.
- 22:48Speaker 2: You're the same, baby doll.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It's the same.
- 22:51Speaker 2: One kilogram and one kilogram equal one kilogram. They're the same.
- 22:56Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if it's feathers or steel.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but what weighs more?
- 23:03Speaker 2: They don't. Each one is a kilogram. So see, for example,
- 23:06Speaker 2: you go to the store and you get a pound
- 23:07Speaker 2: a turkey and a pound of roast beef. They're going
- 23:10Speaker 2: to weigh the same. They're just different. Oh difference.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Well, that's like a strict question, fucking asshole. That was
- 23:23Speaker 1: more of a riddle than it was a question. I'm
- 23:27Speaker 1: so sorry question.
- 23:31Speaker 5: You know, when you hear people say that they're worried
- 23:33Speaker 5: about what their potential future employers will find of them.
- 23:37Speaker 2: This, yeah, what they're talking.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I definitely don't mention this thing. No, I mean, like,
- 23:42Speaker 1: if I ever want a real job, I'm fucked.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Question for twenty what.
- 23:51Speaker 1: All right, before the invention of the telephone, what was
- 23:55Speaker 1: the primary way people would communicate with each other from
- 23:58Speaker 1: long distances? Letters?
- 24:02Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:03Speaker 1: Big technology though? What I guess people could write letters?
- 24:07Speaker 2: Oh?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Yeah, technology? What was used before a telephone? A teletype? Loos?
- 24:16Speaker 1: What the fuck kind of question is this? Read this
- 24:18Speaker 1: shit again? Before the invention of the telephone, what was
- 24:21Speaker 1: the primary way people would communicate with each other from
- 24:23Speaker 1: long distances? So they didn't have phones? You know what
- 24:26Speaker 1: they yell? I don't know, Yeah, they could have done
- 24:33Speaker 1: that too, But the technology? What were they using to
- 24:36Speaker 1: communicate with each other before phones?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:42Speaker 1: And it's not letters? I mean again it could be,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but then technology technology, Like before we had cell phones,
- 24:49Speaker 1: we just had house phones before a house you know
- 24:51Speaker 1: what I mean? Like the people use phones? Are where
- 24:58Speaker 1: are we right now? That's a dumb question right there?
- 25:03Speaker 2: Do you know the answer. Telegraph, the telegraph. You can
- 25:06Speaker 2: learn about the telegraph, you know.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Wow?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And old movies they come running in and say, oh,
- 25:15Speaker 2: you have a message and it was on a piece
- 25:17Speaker 2: of paper.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I just think of Titanic. Do do do Do Do
- 25:20Speaker 1: do do do? Yeah, exactly. Yelling didn't work for anyone
- 25:25Speaker 1: in that movie either, Jack, Jack, this is my door.

- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to use the lifeline so quickly.
- 25:58Speaker 2: But oh, you only get to consult me one time.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess. Hold on, hold on, hold on four?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Is it four? It's four? Very good? Wow, very good.

- 26:26Speaker 1: I was a kid. I went we saw it in
- 26:27Speaker 1: New York City. That took us on a field trip.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Do you want more Christmas in July questions stew it,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I could give you more of them.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Question two.
- 26:35Speaker 5: In how the Grinch Stole Christmas? From what town? Does
- 26:40Speaker 5: the Grinch steal Christmas items? Who will go?
- 26:45Speaker 3: Wow?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Okay, all right, thank you.

- 26:58Speaker 4: No.
- 26:58Speaker 5: I like the anime, like original one, like the OG classic,
- 27:02Speaker 5: like the classic, like the TV.
- 27:04Speaker 2: One, the classic, But I think.
- 27:06Speaker 5: The Jim Carrey one gets under my nerves, gets under
- 27:08Speaker 5: my nerves.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I don't know. That's not even a saying no it
- 27:12Speaker 1: is now it gets under your skin. Yeah, that too sure.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Question three.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I was gonna read my question again to you, but
- 27:23Speaker 1: I just realized it's my turn. I looked down. I'm like, wait,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I already did that. He's figuring it out as we go.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm looking at a list of questions thinking which
- 27:36Speaker 5: one would he get wrong?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Okay, how about sports Guests of the Year. Okay, you
- 27:40Speaker 1: were alive. I wasn't.
- 27:41Speaker 5: There's a hint already, all right, and what Yeah, why
- 27:44Speaker 5: the hell did I do that now. I don't even
- 27:47Speaker 5: want to ask this question.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Ask it.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Come on a right, okay, sports? In what year did
- 27:51Speaker 5: Major League Baseball not have a World Series because of
- 27:54Speaker 5: the players strike?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Would it had been nineteen ninety five? Four? Which one four? Four?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Very good?
- 28:03Speaker 5: Good, because my follow up it would have been I

- 28:09Speaker 1: All right?
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Do you remember this or not?
- 28:12Speaker 2: Really?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Vaguely? Vaguely, yeah, but they didn't get paid enough. I
- 28:15Speaker 1: don't remember this specific. I was ten years old. I
- 28:18Speaker 1: was doing other things. Should we ask, hey or whatever?
- 28:20Speaker 1: What do you do at ten years old? You know,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I know what I was doing a lot of that.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I know what you do ten years old.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Early bloomer, So good for you. Secret talent's a bounding
- 28:31Speaker 2: you're never gonna get.
- 28:32Speaker 1: That was really talented?
- 28:37Speaker 3: Was the goat U twenty?
- 28:41Speaker 1: What good, buddy.
- 28:44Speaker 5: I don't think you're gonna get this question right. There's
- 28:46Speaker 5: like a snowballs chance. And now you're gonna get this
- 28:48Speaker 5: question right.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Great. How many black keys are there on a standard piano?
- 28:54Speaker 1: Is it like twelve sixteen? I'll go, he keeps me. Really,
- 29:02Speaker 1: how about those black keys? Yeah, that's not what we're
- 29:05Speaker 1: talking about. That, that's it's the black keys. That's what
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'm asking. The question is how many black keys are
- 29:13Speaker 1: on a piano? Twenty twenty two. No, you're getting this.
- 29:17Speaker 1: I have no idea. Yeah, the Charcter answer is thirty
- 29:20Speaker 1: six probably shit, how many keys are on a piano
- 29:22Speaker 1: in general?
- 29:23Speaker 5: Holl there's eighty eight keys total? So what's eighty eight
- 29:25Speaker 5: minus thirty six? There we go, somebody that does math.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Eighty eight minus thirty six, it's fifty two? Shit, fifty two. Hey, Siri,
- 29:36Speaker 1: it's fifty two.
- 29:37Speaker 2: It's bad. Wait what was it?
- 29:40Speaker 1: What would the numbers may come? Right? Who are you?
- 29:42Speaker 1: What's happening?
- 29:43Speaker 2: Eighty eight minus thirty six?
- 29:46Speaker 1: Sixty nine?
- 29:47Speaker 2: What is eighty eight minus thirty six? Fifty two?
- 29:50Speaker 1: Fifty two? Yeah? Did you say that? Did you say that?
- 29:53Speaker 1: I said that? Wow? At least look at those mental batskill? Wow?
- 29:56Speaker 1: Still got it?
- 29:58Speaker 3: You're lost? Pro are they? Blazed? And confused? Podcast?
- 30:04Speaker 1: I think we should order some food. And you know,
- 30:06Speaker 1: here's the thing.
- 30:07Speaker 5: We're recording this episode on Monday, July twenty first, which
- 30:10Speaker 5: I don't know if you read today's National Junk Food
- 30:13Speaker 5: Day food Day, Yeah, yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I mean every day is National Junk Food House Yeah.
- 30:19Speaker 5: However, I will say I have eaten the McDonald's snack
- 30:22Speaker 5: wraps a few times now that they're back.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Oh are you a fan of the snack raps? Oh?
- 30:27Speaker 1: They are incredible. Do they taste just like you remember? Yes?
- 30:31Speaker 5: However, the only thing that I'll say about the snack
- 30:33Speaker 5: raps is that they don't have the honey mustard flavor.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And I really enjoy the honey musterd flavor. Where's the
- 30:37Speaker 1: honey muster flavor? They didn't bring that one?
- 30:38Speaker 2: But what are the options?
- 30:39Speaker 1: It's just of honey mustard and put it on it.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I guess, but I don't know.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I get it.
- 30:46Speaker 5: It's just regular ranch or spicy run. It's kind of like,
- 30:50Speaker 5: you know when you get that kind of thing.
- 30:51Speaker 1: The heat from the chicken has warmed up the honey
- 30:54Speaker 1: mustard in such a way like there's something with the
- 30:56Speaker 1: temperature there. But adding it later it's not the same.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I get that.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Here's what our will say about the snack wraps. I
- 31:01Speaker 5: compare the snack wraps to Yako's hot dogs. Where now
- 31:06Speaker 5: my experience now with the snack wraps, are you get
- 31:09Speaker 5: the meal with two?
- 31:11Speaker 1: You eat two?
- 31:12Speaker 5: You could eat a third, but when you eat a third,
- 31:15Speaker 5: it's a little bit too much, and then you feel
- 31:17Speaker 5: like a pile of fucking garbage. So like two is
- 31:20Speaker 5: not quite enough, but three is just a little too much.
- 31:23Speaker 5: You get two in fries. I do that, but you're
- 31:27Speaker 5: not getting to begin a.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Front or eating fries as it is. That's just I mean,
- 31:30Speaker 1: that was a given.
- 31:31Speaker 2: What about Mabe getting cheeseburger aside?
- 31:33Speaker 1: All right, so I'll tell you a great story. The
- 31:34Speaker 1: other night. You know, I'm addicted to order and door
- 31:36Speaker 1: Dash forgot where we were talking about what I forgot?
- 31:39Speaker 1: Go ahead, huh, I'm caught up. Now what I'm here.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Give me the joint, all right, fucking ston. You guys
- 31:48Speaker 2: have the agenda. I don't. I'm sitting over here tripping
- 31:52Speaker 2: my ass off because like, what is going on? But
- 31:56Speaker 2: I have the idea about what's going on. But I
- 31:58Speaker 2: don't know what's going on. But I okay, you know
- 32:00Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 32:01Speaker 1: So you're having a good time.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I'm having a great time. So I ordered door Dash
- 32:05Speaker 2: he in the night, as one does.
- 32:06Speaker 5: It's Friday night. You order thirty dollars worth of door Dash.
- 32:09Speaker 5: You know it is what it.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Is, thirty bucks for one person.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I know, it's a little nuts.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Wait, no, it's not. We ordered Chinese food for two
- 32:15Speaker 2: people with my daughter and it was ninety It was ridiculous.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yep, happens.
- 32:19Speaker 5: So I ordered the two McDonald's snack wrap meal with
- 32:23Speaker 5: a large fry with a coke slushy, the frozen coke.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yeah, fantastic heart coke slushy. Oh love it incredible, incredible.
- 32:32Speaker 5: I also got additionally, in addition to the two snack
- 32:35Speaker 5: wrap and large fry meal with the coke slushy, I
- 32:38Speaker 5: got an extra snack wrap on the side and an
- 32:40Speaker 5: extra cheeseburger on the side.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I came home, sat down, I ate it. Oh, it
- 32:45Speaker 2: was incredible.
- 32:45Speaker 5: And I left the snack wrap, the extra snack wrap,
- 32:48Speaker 5: in the extra cheeseburger on my coffee table and I
- 32:52Speaker 5: put the rest of the bag next to it, like
- 32:54Speaker 5: I like it was trash, you know.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And then I got away.
- 32:57Speaker 2: No, no, no, worse.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I down.
- 33:00Speaker 5: I took a nap, and when I woke up, apparently
- 33:03Speaker 5: the damn dog had a feast while.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I was.
- 33:07Speaker 5: And I woke up at three o'clock in the morning,
- 33:08Speaker 5: and the dog was smart enough to like quite literally,
- 33:11Speaker 5: I should have taken a picture, but I didn't.
- 33:12Speaker 1: But she like quite literally unwrapped the snack wrap and
- 33:15Speaker 1: the cheeseburger.
- 33:16Speaker 5: The rappers were still there and the food was gone.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Oh you got a smart, mean break. You know what
- 33:23Speaker 1: she was doing.
- 33:24Speaker 2: I had a dog that ate chocolate, ate the entire wrappers,
- 33:28Speaker 2: and she shot chocolate wrappers days. It's terrible.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Yeah, dogs and chocolate are supposed to be bad dudes.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Right, Oh she was fine.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so is that a myth?
- 33:39Speaker 3: Then?
- 33:39Speaker 2: No. They just have to consume copious I mean cobious
- 33:42Speaker 2: amounts of it. Yeah, it's math, and like you, I
- 33:45Speaker 2: don't do math either, but they have to eat copious
- 33:47Speaker 2: amounts of it in order for it to affect their bloodstream.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I guess I like that Lucy made the wrapper in
- 33:52Speaker 1: such a way that it would make you think that
- 33:54Speaker 1: maybe you did it, you know, like you ate the
- 33:56Speaker 1: burger and forgot you know, well so because because it
- 34:01Speaker 1: was sitting on the ground.
- 34:02Speaker 5: But then when I walked back, because the snack rapper
- 34:05Speaker 5: was sitting next to my couch, and then when I
- 34:08Speaker 5: walked back to my kitchen, like she must have picked
- 34:10Speaker 5: up the burger and taken it back to the kitchen.
- 34:11Speaker 5: And make that one back there. So yeah, it was
- 34:14Speaker 5: crazy that then I knew.
- 34:15Speaker 1: It was the dog. Thank you, Lucy, appreciate it.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Hey, we have anything else to say to the people, Yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 5: we do spark a debate.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Oh, we'll get a debate quick.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Welcome to spark a debate. We're Becker and Joel. Turn
- 34:28Speaker 3: one topic.
- 34:29Speaker 4: You're doing all out puff puff pass off and see
- 34:32Speaker 4: who burns out first.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I was gonna talk about the cold Play thing. Now,
- 34:37Speaker 1: who gives a fuck about the Coldplay thing anymore? That'll
- 34:40Speaker 1: be really old by the time. Really, I guess it
- 34:42Speaker 1: might be. Yeah, you're right. Fuck, why what do you
- 34:44Speaker 1: think about that? You're always trying to get me to
- 34:45Speaker 1: go fucking cold Play shows, and now I never want
- 34:48Speaker 1: to go to a cold Play show.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Why?
- 34:51Speaker 1: I don't know. Chris Martin ruins everything. Oh god. They
- 34:55Speaker 1: shouldn't have been cheating. But had they acted like regular
- 34:58Speaker 1: human beings and didn't react to the fucking jumbo tron,
- 35:00Speaker 1: they probably would have been fine. But what do you
- 35:03Speaker 1: mean if they just sat there and like were on
- 35:05Speaker 1: camera and didn't move and be all awkward, they.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Would be.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Had they not drew it done that, had they just
- 35:12Speaker 2: not gone to a cold play concept when you're having
- 35:15Speaker 2: an affair.
- 35:16Speaker 1: But then I thought, like, what if these people have
- 35:18Speaker 1: an open relationship, Maybe here's an understanding we all really.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Jumped was if there was, then they wouldn't have reacted
- 35:24Speaker 2: that way. But I think it's totally been blown out
- 35:26Speaker 2: of proportions. It's so ridiculous, but it's I mean, it is.
- 35:30Speaker 2: It is kind of funny. It is extremely kind of funny.
- 35:32Speaker 5: However, I will say, it must suck to be one
- 35:34Speaker 5: of those people's kids right.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Now, Dad, Mom and dad are all over the internet.
- 35:41Speaker 1: But when you go to like a sporting event, do
- 35:42Speaker 1: you want to end up on the jumbo tron? Honestly,
- 35:44Speaker 1: I mean seriously.
- 35:45Speaker 5: I was hell now, I was at the Iron Pigs
- 35:47Speaker 5: once and I was put on the JumboTron and I
- 35:50Speaker 5: looked away.
- 35:50Speaker 1: And I hated it. Well, I was there with my parents.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I was sitting there having one too many beers. Do
- 35:56Speaker 1: you think they're going to have to make up some
- 35:58Speaker 1: kind of thing now when you buy a ticket to
- 35:59Speaker 1: an that you're gonna have to click a button, that's
- 36:01Speaker 1: like you probably do it being on camera. You probably
- 36:04Speaker 1: already do that somehow. It's probably the finest of princes.
- 36:07Speaker 2: When you buy the ticket, there's all that fine print
- 36:09Speaker 2: at the bottom of the ticket that probably says that
- 36:11Speaker 2: you agreed to be part of their promotional.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I mean, obviously it's fuck. They shouldn't have been cheating
- 36:16Speaker 1: on it, you know, their spouses.
- 36:17Speaker 5: But yeah, but you want to blame it on Chris
- 36:18Speaker 5: Martin because that's the fun thing to do.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Well, I'm not. And his apology was fucking ridiculous too.
- 36:24Speaker 1: It was really fun.
- 36:25Speaker 3: You apologized.
- 36:26Speaker 1: The dude came out and apologized.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Well, the CEO, I thought you said, Chris Martin say wait, wait,
- 36:31Speaker 2: wait wait. Chris Martin apologized for that.
- 36:33Speaker 1: There was a line in this dude's Chris Martin if
- 36:36Speaker 1: he didn't apologize, it would go something like, my music
- 36:38Speaker 1: is subpar, and I apologize for the music. You have
- 36:42Speaker 1: no idea. A Coldplay concert is incredible.
- 36:44Speaker 2: I apologize for allowing my wife to name my child Apple.
- 36:48Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 36:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a little mole Martin. It's not as bad
- 36:51Speaker 5: as Northwest. That's as bad as.
- 36:55Speaker 1: It's really stupid. You guys have McDonald's. I don't donald.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I was hoping for her food. McDonald's just gonna sponsor us.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Their food's great. They are the double quarter powder with cheese.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I'm telling Joel about getting that honey with his chicken nuggets,
