- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, you guys, it is time to make a
- 0:01Speaker 1: love connection. East Hartford, Emma's on the line. Good morning, Emma.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 0:06Speaker 1: So you went on a first date, and I take
- 0:07Speaker 1: it you're getting ghosted.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Yes, and I need your help why. We had a
- 0:12Speaker 2: great first date. The meal was amazing. I tried to
- 0:17Speaker 2: text him after to set up another one, but he
- 0:20Speaker 2: stopped answering my calls and text messages, and I'm not
- 0:23Speaker 2: sure why. So I was wondering if you guys could
- 0:26Speaker 2: help me set up a second date.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Okay, so you're getting ghosted. You have no idea why.
- 0:31Speaker 1: How was the conversation on the date? Did you have
- 0:33Speaker 1: a good conversation?
- 0:34Speaker 2: We had an amazing conversation. Like, we were talking the
- 0:38Speaker 2: whole time, eye contact. Everything was just going according to plan. Like,
- 0:43Speaker 2: it was perfect.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Did you feel a connection?
- 0:45Speaker 2: I felt the connection right away, like right before we
- 0:48Speaker 2: sat down, as soon as we met.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Okay. Yeah, guys are weird like that.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You know, there's probably a lot going on.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It's the end of the summer. Yeah. You know, vacations
- 0:57Speaker 3: are wrapping up. His wife's probably nagging him.
- 1:00Speaker 1: His wife? His wife?
- 1:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I honestly, I mean, if it was a good date,
- 1:05Speaker 1: if you thought it was a good date, made a connection,
- 1:07Speaker 1: I have no idea why. Yes. Don't listen to him, Emma.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Don't listen. I think if you thought it was a
- 1:12Speaker 1: great date and you felt a connection, we need to
- 1:14Speaker 1: call Zach and we need to ask him about the date.
- 1:16Speaker 1: You're going to be listening in. If you want to
- 1:18Speaker 1: confront him for anything or any reason, you can, okay?
- 1:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:23Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:24Speaker 1: This is a little too. We went to dinner and
- 1:27Speaker 1: getting ghosted. There's something. We didn't ask her if she
- 1:31Speaker 1: drank too much. Oh, no, we did forget. Maybe she
- 1:38Speaker 1: ordered the most expensive thing. You know what I mean?
- 1:39Speaker 1: We didn't really grow up. Hi, Zach.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Hi, Zach. Yes. Oh, hey.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yes, this is Courtney. Hey, it's Walmart Chef. Hey, it's Savannah.
- 1:49Speaker 1: We're calling from Kiss 95.7. You're on the radio.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Okay. All right. Okay.
- 1:55Speaker 1: You're on the radio because we do something called second
- 1:57Speaker 1: date update. If somebody goes on a first date, they
- 1:59Speaker 1: get ghosted. They call us and we get some information
- 2:01Speaker 1: and we find out why. So Emma called us and
- 2:06Speaker 1: you're apparently ghosting her after a great first date. She
- 2:08Speaker 1: told us it was like good conversation. She felt a connection.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Do you know she's, she's a really nice girl. Okay.
- 2:18Speaker 2: What happened?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Did she drink too much?
- 2:22Speaker 3: It's just slightly odd behavior, and maybe I'm being nitpicky here,
- 2:26Speaker 3: but we're at the meal. It's going well. Conversation's going well. Okay.
- 2:31Speaker 3: And I think we're vibing, and I can't help but
- 2:35Speaker 3: notice that she then starts taking things off the dinner
- 2:41Speaker 3: table and putting them into her purse, like sugar packets.
- 2:46Speaker 3: And then at one point she took two dinner rolls
- 2:48Speaker 3: and put them in her purse. Okay. And maybe she's
- 2:52Speaker 3: a klepto and she gets off on the high.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Probably. Stop.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Wait, this is so strange. Listen.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Because what is it?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Have you ever been to a restaurant with a really
- 3:00Speaker 1: good dinner roll and there's some left and you're like, gosh,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I wish I could just take those home and eat
- 3:03Speaker 1: them in my PJs?
- 3:04Speaker 3: You get it to go. You get it to go by. Okay.
- 3:07Speaker 3: You're putting it in your purse. Yeah, I got it.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Like, taking it. Whatever.
- 3:10Speaker 3: And then you got to keep an eye on, like,
- 3:11Speaker 3: the silverware and the salt and pepper shakers. Yeah. No,
- 3:14Speaker 3: that's how it is. I was laser vision on the
- 3:16Speaker 3: silverware the whole time. Okay.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I feel like what you should have done, Zach, because
- 3:21Speaker 1: you said the date was good, is you should have
- 3:23Speaker 1: asked her as she was putting a dinner roll in
- 3:25Speaker 1: her purse. Hold on, hold on. You should have said, hey,
- 3:26Speaker 1: what's going on? Can we bring her on the line?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Thank you. Bring her on. She's on the line. Can
- 3:31Speaker 1: you just ask? Emma, are you there?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm here.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Go ahead, Zach.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Emma, it seemed like you didn't have any boundaries when
- 3:40Speaker 3: it came to putting certain things that aren't yours into
- 3:44Speaker 3: your purse.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I don't know. You paid for the dinner rolls.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I don't like to waste food, and sugar packets, they
- 3:50Speaker 2: were for my coffee in the morning. I just didn't
- 3:51Speaker 2: have time to go to the store.
- 3:54Speaker 3: To get some sugar. I mean.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Did you take, like, two, or did you take, like,
- 3:58Speaker 1: the whole canister?
- 4:00Speaker 2: No, I only took a couple, because I needed a
- 4:02Speaker 2: couple for my coffee.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It's all complimentary stuff, so.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Zach? I just think if it's complimentary, that doesn't mean...
- 4:13Speaker 3: You need to take it or.
- 4:16Speaker 2: All of it.
- 4:16Speaker 3: All right. I don't know.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I don't even know where to go with this. I
- 4:20Speaker 1: feel like you're judging her too harsh and she's put
- 4:23Speaker 1: a dinner roll in her purse. Big deal. I've put
- 4:25Speaker 1: worse in my purse.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Trust me.
- 4:27Speaker 1: What are you doing? She's not stealing. There was a
- 4:31Speaker 1: couple dinner rolls and she's like, I'll leave them on
- 4:33Speaker 1: the table. I'll just put them in my purse. Why
- 4:35Speaker 1: bother the waiter or waitress to bring me a bag
- 4:38Speaker 1: for a dinner roll when I got a giant purse?
- 4:40Speaker 3: I guess.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It sounded like you thought she was a good person, Zach.
- 4:44Speaker 1: And Emma, you thought Zach was a great person.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Of course, yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Would you guys consider going on another date if it
- 4:50Speaker 1: didn't involve food or taking things? Sure.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Sure. Yeah, actually, yeah, yeah. Okay. I wouldn't have a
- 4:58Speaker 3: problem with.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That at all. All right, I'm going to put you
- 5:00Speaker 1: guys on hold. You can discuss it. We are going
- 5:02Speaker 1: to pick up the tab for it and then definitely
- 5:04Speaker 1: keep us posted as to how the next date goes, okay?
- 5:08Speaker 3: All right, thank you.
- 5:08Speaker 1: All right, you're welcome.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Thanks, guys. Of course.
