- Sue: ⁓ huh. Ticks, Skeeters, and Poison Ivy. I'm sharing a mundane post on the topic of the environment in which we live, and most specifically locally, my situation with the aquifer level in the well. For those of you not listening to my content before, I live a hundred percent off a well on the side of a granite mountain in southeast New York State, and have noticed that in the eighteen years in which I've lived here with my late husband. Now that I'm a solo water user, I still maintain the same conservation efforts of limited water use such that today I The day to do a load of laundry, and we did have enough water this week. I posted last week about the stress of the well I placed with one load of laundry, and in doing so today was much more aware to keep track of the PSI of the tank before and after. At the end of today's load, it hadn't depleted the water in the tank either, but that no more water would be used until it refreshed. And that's that luminal space I talk about. How long? Given the environmental conditions of dry and warm weather, will it take for the aquifer to replenish and sub and then subsequently pressurize my water tank up to the appropriate lot mention of it in this post for the sake that if for whatever reason the well depletes and doesn't refresh, I'll know from which point things started to go awry and dry. The next mundane post, ⁓ and by the way, the climate here is dry. And it looks like three or four days from now we're predicted to have some rainfall, but it's not happening now. The other environmental point of interest is the deer tick level. I have seen mostly the larger ticks on my person, although I do use the permafense spray on my shoes and clothing, and that helps a bit. And of course Rita's got her drug cocktail in her to prevent the ticks from surviving on her. Given that Rita and I are walking in the woods right now and do that several times a day, 'cause why wouldn't you? It's a happy place for me. The amount of ticks that we've encountered on a day to day basis is about two or three. And of course everybody would refer to the winter we just came through, where we had at the house, as amongst others in the neighborhood, some ice damage due to a very heavy amount of snow falling in February. Which was unusual in the eighteen years that I've resided in this home. That's not been an event, but given the water stains in the ceiling and walls of the house, it was at one point, so goes back to the well. You know, it may be running dry now, but while the trend is becoming drier and drier on this part of the earth overall, it might revert a bit. They have the I the perfect conditions to sort of have a moist winter. And of course, even though it's dry, there are areas in which we walk that have water and ⁓ mosquitoes have certainly been out. I think I came home yesterday with about eight or ten bites on my legs. And the other environmental abundance is the poison ivy growth. Another sign of a moist winter, apparently. My practical experience is telling me that between the tick skeeters and the poison ivy it's a potentially very itchy season, and give the given the dryness with a water situation, it might just be a very interesting summer that we're about to experience. It's all a mundane way of saying that once you start raising your awareness to everything around you in your physical world, it lifts everything in the spiritual world and that's a really good thing because it sort of fortifies you resiliently. Once you see the pattern of how things are going, then you know how to engage in a positive way to fortify your boundaries. Knowing that there isn't much water in the well means that I can't use water as flagrantly or carelessly. So you make a temporary routine that you enact, checking the PSI on a regular basis, just to make sure that you're not gonna purge what's left in the well and not have any water at a time in a few hours ahead of here, that you might actually need it. It's not anybody else's problem but my own. And I'd choose not to make it a problem. I choose to put the energy in the positive things, which is to say, Okay, I know what to do. This is how you have to treat your spiritual life. You know, you end up with Living your life, realizing that things are off for you and you don't attribute it to anything, you just accept it as part of well it is what it is. Woe is me. No. Look at it, reflect upon it, and recognize that maybe it's just a sign of having to go within to see what you can do to help keep yourself in a happy place. Not giving any space to those incoming negative projections that are being sent your way to harm you ever. It goes back to understanding that it's spiritual trespassing. Just do your bit to keep your positivity going as your protective bubble. And don't waste water. Please. We all share this earth. What you say may not directly find it into my well, but I know that the less impact we have on the world with the resources, the better off we're all gonna be 'cause there's like eight billion of us trying to share it. It's a beautiful day. Mother Nature has given us a splendid late spring day that feels more like ⁓ instead of early June s in these parts of the woods, feels like more like a Mid July, late July day. All the more reason to pay attention and enjoy it. Thanks for listening.
