- 0:02Speaker 1: This is am I the problem?
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's me, all the problem, it's me.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We'll hear one side of the story, and with your help,
- 0:12Speaker 1: am I the problem with you?
- 0:13Speaker 3: Decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I'm hardly the problem.
- 0:18Speaker 1: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 0:21Speaker 4: All right, Bradley wrote into us or Brad rather. Hey guys,
- 0:25Speaker 4: this is Brad and I was hoping you could give me.
- 0:28Speaker 2: A little dating advice. Long story, it's more of.
- 0:31Speaker 1: An advice thing today, not quite. Is he right around?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Well you'll see.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Okay, long story short, I'm back in the dating game
- 0:37Speaker 4: after being in a six year relationship. I met a
- 0:40Speaker 4: lady that I really like, and we've gone out twice.
- 0:42Speaker 4: I just set up the third date, and I'm excited
- 0:45Speaker 4: because she's the first woman I've gone out with since
- 0:48Speaker 4: my ex that I actually feel I could get serious with.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Wow.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Anyway, when I send her text messages about going out,
- 0:56Speaker 4: she usually only has one or two word replies. The
- 0:59Speaker 4: replies aren't negative, just short, like I asked her to
- 1:02Speaker 4: go out this weekend and she replied yes. I told
- 1:04Speaker 4: her the place I wanted to take her, and she replied,
- 1:07Speaker 4: sounds good. Am I wrong for hating that she doesn't
- 1:10Speaker 4: sound more excited. I'm really interested, and I'm worried she
- 1:14Speaker 4: isn't thoughts.
- 1:16Speaker 3: You're definitely in the right here, King, Okay, what you
- 1:19Speaker 3: need to do? Pass that net wider all right, start
- 1:23Speaker 3: texting everyone else? Find that one that's gonna make you
- 1:26Speaker 3: feel good in those repri replies, Bradley.
- 1:30Speaker 4: That's your okay, No, don't listen to Gabe, right.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I think that's great advice. If she's not making you
- 1:37Speaker 3: feel good in the texts in the dms, you're the okay,
- 1:42Speaker 3: I find someone who will.
- 1:44Speaker 2: What do you think? Seven on one Taito one nine
- 1:46Speaker 2: eighty seven.
- 1:47Speaker 4: We also have this up on the Big ninety eight
- 1:48Speaker 4: point seven Facebook page. I think, brad I think you've
- 1:51Speaker 4: been out of the game for a while. It's giving insecure, sir.
- 1:58Speaker 4: If she's going with you on the dates, if she's
- 2:00Speaker 4: saying yes, if you're gonna go on the third date,
- 2:03Speaker 4: and clearly those dates are going well and you're into it,
- 2:07Speaker 4: maybe texting is just not her jam.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Maybe she's just trying to get to the point.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Also, maybe she's just hungry. Bradley, You're you're just a
- 2:15Speaker 3: free meal on her phone.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Because that could also be true.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Little excitement here.
- 2:22Speaker 3: What the heck, Bradley, I think you start texting other people?
- 2:25Speaker 4: No, you know what, I think it's not fair that
- 2:28Speaker 4: the woman is expected to be out like.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, she has can't wait.
- 2:32Speaker 2: But guys, that's fine. You guys send potassium all the time.
- 2:36Speaker 2: You just say K.
- 2:38Speaker 4: You just say K to things in text messages, and
- 2:41Speaker 4: that's fine. But this woman is supposed to anomoje's and say,
- 2:44Speaker 4: she's jumping up and down.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I'm taking the Angie route today, Like, yeah, it's totally
- 2:48Speaker 3: fine when we do it Angie route.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I could not be more irritated. That so funny.
- 3:00Speaker 4: We had Brad ask if he's the problem for being
- 3:03Speaker 4: a little bit upset that this girl that he's dating,
- 3:07Speaker 4: who he really likes, she gives very short replies to
- 3:11Speaker 4: his texts when he's setting up dates with her.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Right, so he'll say, oh, do you want to go somewhere? Well,
- 3:16Speaker 2: do you want to go do this?
- 3:17Speaker 4: And she'll say yes, and then he'll suggest a place
- 3:21Speaker 4: and she'll say sounds good, And he is frustrated and
- 3:24Speaker 4: wants to know if he's wrong for hating the fact
- 3:28Speaker 4: that she does not sound more excited in these text.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Messages, and you're right to feel that way, Bradley.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Yeah, according to Gabe, you are right to feel that way.
- 3:39Speaker 4: We also asked you on the Big ninety eight point
- 3:41Speaker 4: seven Facebook page and to text us at seven oh
- 3:44Speaker 4: one to two, eight oh one to nine eight seven.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Is anybody team Bradley on this or what's on him?
- 3:50Speaker 1: On Team Bradley.
- 3:52Speaker 3: There's also some people who are team Bradley and some
- 3:56Speaker 3: who aren't.
- 3:57Speaker 1: For example, Andrea said, if she's only going one word
- 4:00Speaker 1: replies that she might not be that interested. When someone's excited,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you can.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Usually tell really is she in is he in her
- 4:10Speaker 3: phone just under like free dinner?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Or do you think Bradley is in there? Yay?
- 4:14Speaker 4: But you really she would do that because that's absolutely
- 4:18Speaker 4: a thing that girls do.
- 4:19Speaker 1: And no, the girls don't do that, do they.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I will admit that when I was in my early twenties.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I really loved the Kasadia burger at Applebee's.
- 4:32Speaker 2: And I also was not bawling out.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Okay, I was balling on a budget, so I don't
- 4:38Speaker 4: want to pay for my meals.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But you know who did want to pay for my meals?
- 4:42Speaker 4: Jonathan Navarro and Casey Judge, thanks Fellas, and so yes,
- 4:47Speaker 4: I would.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I wasn't particularly interested.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It sounds like you are really just dating the Applebee's
- 4:55Speaker 1: what that sounds like.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yes, Samantha, this was actually I think kind of I
- 5:00Speaker 3: opening advice.
- 5:00Speaker 1: This one was real.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I think it said bare minimum texting equals bare minimum effort.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Don't forget that. I like this out of Samantha. She
- 5:12Speaker 3: came in kind of with the with the right thought.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I would agree with Samantha if she was talking about
- 5:18Speaker 4: men specifically.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Okay, so it doesn't work when it's the other thing.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Now, in fact, I support women's rights and wrongs.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Now there are some people who, of course are on
- 5:28Speaker 3: Angie's side. Tiffany said, some people are just terrible texters.
- 5:32Speaker 3: It doesn't mean she it does doesn't mean she's not
- 5:36Speaker 3: into you if she keeps saying yes to date.
- 5:39Speaker 1: That part exactly.
- 5:41Speaker 3: And then we had a Crystal who said, judge her
- 5:43Speaker 3: by how she acts in person, not by texting style.
- 5:47Speaker 4: And clearly he likes how she acts in person because
- 5:50Speaker 4: he's asked her out on several dates. Bradley, It's okay,
- 5:54Speaker 4: you're just new to the game after a long relationship
- 5:57Speaker 4: it's fine, and if it really bothers you that much,
- 6:00Speaker 4: say something about it, because you know what, women love communication.
- 6:05Speaker 3: No since when today's variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 6:15Speaker 3: It's Gabe and it is Angie here on Big ninety
- 6:19Speaker 3: eight point seven. Glad to be back with you on
- 6:21Speaker 3: this Monday, a Monday where we're going to reach double
- 6:24Speaker 3: digit temperatures after kind of a long weekend at my house.
- 6:29Speaker 3: But we are glad to be here. That in and
- 6:31Speaker 3: of itself could be a little victory. If you ever
- 6:34Speaker 3: have a little victory, by the way, let us know
- 6:35Speaker 3: about it. At seven oh one two eight zero one
- 6:38Speaker 3: nine eight seven. Also sidebar, I have up right now
- 6:42Speaker 3: Groundhog's Day live at in Gobbler's Knob in Pennsylvania.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I have not seen any groundhog just yet. I will
- 6:51Speaker 1: get that. I will. I will be in charge.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Okay, thanks, sing along the information the second I see it.
- 6:57Speaker 3: But I'm watching the live stream right now, so you'll
- 6:59Speaker 3: have to wait and see if we're getting a longer
- 7:01Speaker 3: winter or a shorter one today right Celebrating life's little
- 7:06Speaker 3: victories every morning, we practice gratitude on Big ninety eight
- 7:10Speaker 3: point seven. If I could, I would keep this feeling
- 7:13Speaker 3: in a basket job busted out when it was someone's
- 7:16Speaker 3: acting hard. Sure your little victories with us at seven
- 7:19Speaker 3: oh one, two, eight oh one, nine eight seven.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Kids, I also needed to win that day.
- 7:25Speaker 3: And before we have our little victories, Angie, little victory
- 7:28Speaker 3: from Emily this morning. Congratulations to Emily. She said her
- 7:32Speaker 3: dryer was on the fritz, basically, and she did the
- 7:36Speaker 3: old unplug it and plug it back in trick and
- 7:39Speaker 3: it worked.
- 7:39Speaker 1: So that's awesome. Hey, save yourself some dryer money.
- 7:42Speaker 2: That is the best thing I've ever heard ever.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Did the old age just turn it off? Turn it on?
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh man, Emily, I'm really excited for you. On you, Emily, Angie,
- 7:53Speaker 2: you are back.
- 7:55Speaker 3: How are you? I guess you have a whole week's
- 7:57Speaker 3: worth of little victory? I guess, yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 4: So, I mean I think it'll be Obviously, every Friday
- 8:02Speaker 4: we take a flannel Friday pictures together, and so getting
- 8:07Speaker 4: ahead of that, because I will look a bit different
- 8:10Speaker 4: in this flannel Friday's picture, I went ahead and got
- 8:14Speaker 4: a breast reduction.
- 8:16Speaker 2: There were just too big.
- 8:18Speaker 4: And low and sad and heavy and terrible, and so
- 8:22Speaker 4: I went ahead and got them, sorry, and got them
- 8:25Speaker 4: I keep wanting to say I got them chopped off.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I didn't get them chopped off, but I got them,
- 8:30Speaker 2: I got.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Them reduced, and so I had to, you know, recover
- 8:33Speaker 4: for about a week. And now I'm back and I'm lighter,
- 8:37Speaker 4: and my chronic back pain is gone, and your.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Girl is feeling great.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Still a little sower, but I'm well enough to get
- 8:44Speaker 4: on here and yap my life away.
- 8:46Speaker 3: So nay, congratulations, say Angie, I'm really happy for you.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I know you're looking forward to that.
- 8:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been fifteen years. I've been wanting one, so.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Well, way to go with you.
- 8:56Speaker 4: What about you, Gabe, because I know that you were
- 8:59Speaker 4: out for a few days last week, and my I
- 9:02Speaker 4: could only imagine it's because you felt so sick not
- 9:06Speaker 4: having me here.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, that's exactly right.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Okay, Little Victories is about positivity, Angie. No, I was
- 9:14Speaker 3: out Thursday and Friday. And when I tell you, there
- 9:18Speaker 3: is a walking joke here, big ninety eight point seven,
- 9:21Speaker 3: that I have got the immune system of thor Okay, Yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 3: has kind of.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Bobbed and weaved for years.
- 9:30Speaker 3: People being sick in this building, people being sick in
- 9:33Speaker 3: this studio, and sometimes even the greats get knocked down.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Okay, babe, I had.
- 9:39Speaker 3: The flu and for two days I literally sat in
- 9:42Speaker 3: my bed and just shivered and coughed and sneezed, and.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It was horrible. I mean, like I could not get warm.
- 9:50Speaker 3: The only time I ever felt warmth was in the shower,
- 9:54Speaker 3: which is I've used, which is a trick I've used
- 9:57Speaker 3: my entire life whenever I don't feel great, I'm gonna
- 10:00Speaker 3: take a shower, yeah, just to get some warm water
- 10:03Speaker 3: on me or whatever. And then of course I'd go
- 10:05Speaker 3: try to lay back down and then get back to
- 10:07Speaker 3: just just shivering. It was terrible. So the good news,
- 10:13Speaker 3: I think I'm still pretty solid. I mean I kind
- 10:15Speaker 3: of developed a cough over that sickness, or that's still
- 10:19Speaker 3: kind of lingering around, But for the most part, I'm
- 10:22Speaker 3: all right. I still might have a stuff he knows,
- 10:24Speaker 3: So if I sound something like that, I apologize today.
- 10:27Speaker 3: But my brain is clear, my body is warm. That
- 10:31Speaker 3: is all that matters to me. And it's not like
- 10:34Speaker 3: when you're a kid, you know, and you get a
- 10:36Speaker 3: sick day you need to just lay on the couch
- 10:38Speaker 3: or like I have a pregnant wife, Okay, I had
- 10:40Speaker 3: to sit by myself for basically three days. It was
- 10:44Speaker 3: not fun in any stretch of the imagination. But I
- 10:49Speaker 3: was very happy when the chills left. That was terrible,
- 10:53Speaker 3: just freezing for two days for no reason.
- 10:55Speaker 4: Okay, well you're back, you're healthy.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw this story or not,
- 11:05Speaker 3: but a bride is going viral. And most of the
- 11:07Speaker 3: time when a bride goes viral, it's either very very
- 11:10Speaker 3: happy it's something really really cool. I had a friend
- 11:14Speaker 3: who went wildly viral on the internet for her wedding
- 11:18Speaker 3: and ended up in People magazine Wow, which was very
- 11:22Speaker 3: very cool. So when you hear stories like that, it's
- 11:23Speaker 3: always awesome, or it goes completely the other way. And
- 11:26Speaker 3: there was a disaster. They fell off the dock into
- 11:30Speaker 3: the lake. Oh yeah, into maybe here the red River,
- 11:34Speaker 3: you know what I mean. And there is a bride
- 11:37Speaker 3: going viral for something I think is a little bit ridiculous.
- 11:42Speaker 3: She had forty different dessert options at her wedding side.
- 11:49Speaker 2: She's a queen. That's amazing.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Some people would love that. To me, you're doing too
- 11:53Speaker 3: much right. Just give me a bag of dial chips
- 11:55Speaker 3: or something. We'll call it dessert.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Oh, because you're also a savory person. You're not a
- 11:58Speaker 2: sweet story.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 12:00Speaker 3: So this morning we are going to try to narrow
- 12:03Speaker 3: this down together. I do have this question up on
- 12:05Speaker 3: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page here, what
- 12:08Speaker 3: is the uh?
- 12:09Speaker 1: What is your favorite dessert of all time?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Amanda said strawberry cream pie or brownie chocolate ice cream,
- 12:18Speaker 3: both excellent options, great options. What's your favorite dessert? You
- 12:22Speaker 3: have forty options? You can only have one at this wedding.
- 12:25Speaker 1: That's such a ridiculous you know what?
- 12:28Speaker 4: I think probably my favorite dessert is any ice cream
- 12:33Speaker 4: that has like mixed in things, so like chocolate chunks
- 12:37Speaker 4: or nuts or something like ice cream. I like it
- 12:40Speaker 4: to be cold and refreshing, but then I want there
- 12:42Speaker 4: to be texture to it. Sure, my sister is a
- 12:45Speaker 4: monster and her favorite dessert. By the way, when I
- 12:50Speaker 4: say she's a monster, I mean it with my whole chest, Okay,
- 12:54Speaker 4: because she doesn't like ice cream that has anything in it,
- 12:57Speaker 4: like nuts or whatever, because she's quote lazy to chew.
- 13:01Speaker 2: All right, mana, you're lazy, all right? But then what
- 13:04Speaker 2: is your favorite dessert? My sister's favorite dessert is a.
- 13:08Speaker 1: S'more, but that takes a ton of chewing that right.
- 13:13Speaker 4: When it comes to ice cream, she doesn't want anything
- 13:15Speaker 4: in it. But when it comes to her favorite are
- 13:18Speaker 4: that's not a dessert, I don't think. No, that's a
- 13:22Speaker 4: campfire treat and it's messy and difficult. And for that
- 13:26Speaker 4: to be the top of the list for her favorite dessert,
- 13:30Speaker 4: that's dumb.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Your favorite dessert, Andrew, the.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Best in the world is the traditional banana split.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I mean, it can't beat it.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I haven't had one forever, but it really is the best.
- 13:44Speaker 5: It should be available in way more.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Restaurant banana split, I know, if I've ever had a
- 13:48Speaker 3: banana split in my life.
- 13:50Speaker 4: That's the very first thing I ever had at a
- 13:52Speaker 4: dairy queen when I was like five, was a banana split.
- 13:55Speaker 2: That's an excellent choice.
- 13:56Speaker 3: If I did not take my cop out answer, you know,
- 13:59Speaker 3: which would be, oh yeah, just give me some cheese.
- 14:01Speaker 3: It's you know, it's great dessert right there, Mine would
- 14:04Speaker 3: probably be French silk pie. When I was young, I
- 14:08Speaker 3: did not I don't really care for cake. I'm not
- 14:10Speaker 3: a big frosting guy. Yeah, so my mom would get
- 14:13Speaker 3: French silk pie, which is just basically chocolate pie chocolate
- 14:17Speaker 3: ice cream. For my birthdays, they'd put candles on this pie.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 3: So if I had to pick one of me that
- 14:24Speaker 3: or maybe like an ice cream cake, I could probably.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Get a run.
- 14:27Speaker 5: You.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Ice cream is dope, even when it's cold. I don't
- 14:31Speaker 4: care how cold it is, I will still get down
- 14:33Speaker 4: on the cream.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I do also enjoy a nice bag of gummy bears.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I don't know, thirty five years old, I'll still get
- 14:41Speaker 3: down on some gummy bears, some GB's, you know what
- 14:43Speaker 3: I mean?
- 14:44Speaker 1: Mary the best dessert.
- 14:46Speaker 5: Warm tierramsou like, not frist cold. I mean, just made espresso,
- 14:51Speaker 5: still haunting it. Mars Capone so soft it feels illegal.
- 14:55Speaker 5: It's like coffee and dessert fell in love and minded
- 14:58Speaker 5: their business.
- 14:59Speaker 4: I don't marry this the way she described it. It
- 15:03Speaker 4: does sound delicious, but I think tiramisu is vile.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And a bride has gone viral.
- 15:12Speaker 3: No, not because of something wonderful and not because of
- 15:15Speaker 3: something tragic like falling into the river with her entire
- 15:19Speaker 3: a bridal party. But she's gone viral for having forty
- 15:22Speaker 3: different desserts at her wedding. What is the all time
- 15:26Speaker 3: best dessert? Chris, a good old.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Fashioned like the drink yep, So what is that?
- 15:35Speaker 3: What is an old fashion?
- 15:36Speaker 1: You're talking about it with booze in it?
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:38Speaker 2: Cocktail shit, I'm.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Thinking of the kitty cocktail thing, you know, right, He's.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Like, absolutely not. It has to have alcohol and simple
- 15:47Speaker 2: syrup and the cherry and a orange peel.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Chris, it is six.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Point fifty two in the morning, sir, I want to
- 15:54Speaker 3: start hanging out with this guy. Well, today is Groundhog's Day, Punks.
- 15:59Speaker 3: The tany fish did emerge from his Really, it's like
- 16:03Speaker 3: a stump like log I was watching it live this morning,
- 16:07Speaker 3: and uh, six more weeks of winter is the prediction.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I don't like this. Is there any way that he
- 16:14Speaker 2: could be incorrect?
- 16:16Speaker 3: I have great news for you. Turns out Punkstani Phil
- 16:19Speaker 3: is normally incorrect. He's really he gets the prediction right
- 16:23Speaker 3: thirty to thirty five. So I'm kind of taking the
- 16:26Speaker 3: half at thirty two and a half. He gets it
- 16:28Speaker 3: right about thirty two and a half percent of the top.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Okay, that's not good.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Then shouldn't they just make switch it to what it means,
- 16:35Speaker 4: Like if he switched it and it was like if
- 16:38Speaker 4: he sees his shadow.
- 16:39Speaker 2: It means no more winter. He would be more correct
- 16:42Speaker 2: that way.
- 16:43Speaker 1: You'd think they would do something.
- 16:44Speaker 3: I was watching this live on YouTube and the setup
- 16:50Speaker 3: for this, I mean this Phil punks Atani Phil is
- 16:52Speaker 3: a rock star over in Gobbler's Knob over there.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yeah, the setup. They have so many lights on this stage.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Of course he's gonna see some type of shadow, you
- 17:02Speaker 3: know what I mean, they got a light back drop around.
- 17:04Speaker 1: What else is he gonna say?
- 17:06Speaker 2: You know what else?
- 17:08Speaker 4: And maybe I'm just taking this too seriously, but how
- 17:11Speaker 4: does punk Satani Phil communicate to us that he saw
- 17:15Speaker 4: his shadow?
- 17:16Speaker 1: I have no clue because isn't.
- 17:18Speaker 2: It just that someone sees his shadow and it is
- 17:20Speaker 2: like the his schannel's right there?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, because when they took him out and they're like
- 17:24Speaker 3: holding him up, you know, I mean, it is like
- 17:25Speaker 3: a scene from The Lion King with this Phil Ah
- 17:28Speaker 3: and I'm just like, what are they doing with this guy?
- 17:32Speaker 3: And then they set him down on said stump. Now,
- 17:34Speaker 3: if you never watched this, this is the first time
- 17:37Speaker 3: I've really ever seen him the Hive live like that.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And then he sort of sits there and then someone
- 17:42Speaker 1: just like picks him up.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Maybe if I had the sound on and could hear
- 17:45Speaker 3: what the guy was saying. I would know a little
- 17:47Speaker 3: bit more, but it seems like a very flawed setup time.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Also, this stump does he live in there year round?
- 17:54Speaker 5: No?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Or do they just move him in there for the day.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's just a prop. Yeah, it's definitely just problem.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Now it turns out that this is the normal prediction.
- 18:04Speaker 3: He normally does see the shadow. Yeah, and that means
- 18:07Speaker 3: we'll have a longer winter. So realistically this is probably good.
- 18:12Speaker 3: He's wrong a lot. So there's like a seventy sixty
- 18:15Speaker 3: eight and a half percent chance we get an early spring,
- 18:18Speaker 3: which I know.
- 18:18Speaker 4: You would be Ah, yeah, actually, okay, I'm down with this.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I will also say I think that we need a
- 18:25Speaker 4: punks a tiny film Pixar movie, because I need to
- 18:28Speaker 4: know what this what is it Groundhog?
- 18:30Speaker 3: I need to know what his life is like. Well,
- 18:32Speaker 3: they did come out with the Groundhog movie. No, that's
- 18:35Speaker 3: different that that doesn't come now, it doesn't kist. Okay,
- 18:41Speaker 3: These are my kind of people right here.
- 18:44Speaker 1: These are the people I'd like to hang out with
- 18:46Speaker 1: on the weekends. Angie.
- 18:47Speaker 3: There's this thirty five year old man named Sam who
- 18:49Speaker 3: has made the news because he is waiting on council
- 18:54Speaker 3: to approve him permanently living off the grid in a
- 19:00Speaker 3: pirate ship style home he built after buying the boat
- 19:04Speaker 3: for five hundred bucks on eBay. He invested his life
- 19:07Speaker 3: savings into renovating it, and he hopes to turn the
- 19:09Speaker 3: property into a nature focused well being center with outdoor activities. However,
- 19:14Speaker 3: without planning permission, he can't her, he can't earn income
- 19:19Speaker 3: or have his daughter stay there overnight, and he says
- 19:21Speaker 3: the council's decision could make or break his future.
- 19:25Speaker 4: It is wild to me that this man did this
- 19:28Speaker 4: entire thing before getting approval.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and this, you know, I say this a lot.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I'd rather ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Yeah, I
- 19:36Speaker 3: agree with that. Guy needs to probably not take that
- 19:41Speaker 3: advice and ask for permission before you go do something
- 19:43Speaker 3: like this. Yeah, because it could affect your entire life,
- 19:45Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 19:46Speaker 2: No, I agree wholeheartedly.
- 19:48Speaker 4: But now that he's already done it, let's just fingers
- 19:50Speaker 4: crossed then he gets it approved.
- 19:51Speaker 3: If you had to live off the grid, Angie, no,
- 19:54Speaker 3: is there other than your phone?
- 19:56Speaker 1: You can't say your phone?
- 19:57Speaker 2: Right right?
- 19:57Speaker 5: Right?
- 19:58Speaker 3: Seven h one two eight zero one nine eighths. And
- 20:00Speaker 3: this question is for you as well. This morning, you've
- 20:02Speaker 3: got this pirate pirate ship style home.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I don't know why that makes me laugh so hard.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it, though, What could you not live?
- 20:11Speaker 3: What luxury couldn't you live without? And you can't say
- 20:14Speaker 3: your phone because that would be everyone's answer.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Gosh, I think I would say my hair brush.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Really, my hair, my hair.
- 20:21Speaker 4: I have a lot of wild, curly hair, and when
- 20:26Speaker 4: I don't tend to it, it gets all matted and
- 20:30Speaker 4: nodded and horrible and I I need Yeah, bro, of
- 20:35Speaker 4: course I'm the most vain person on the plant.
- 20:39Speaker 1: That is actually really funny.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Of course you would say a hairbrush, not like I
- 20:43Speaker 3: don't know, I don't know, like you're refrigerator or something. No,
- 20:48Speaker 3: it's all about my hair, David. What can't you live without?
- 20:51Speaker 3: If you had to be on a pirate ship off
- 20:54Speaker 3: the grid home?
- 20:55Speaker 5: Man, I'd missed having illeagally accessible, you know, living off
- 20:58Speaker 5: the grid, you probably wouldn't be able to get the
- 21:00Speaker 5: grocery stores often, and I think we take that for
- 21:02Speaker 5: granted these.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Bass Okay, but I would get so skinny.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go.
- 21:08Speaker 3: My answer would probably be the microwave it Oh yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 3: it is. Yeah, it is crazy how convenient we have
- 21:16Speaker 3: it to just PLoP something in there for a minute
- 21:19Speaker 3: or ninety seconds or whatever, and boom we get sustenance
- 21:23Speaker 3: for the next handful of hours.
- 21:24Speaker 1: As opposed to living off the grid.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I mean, you got you were going back to picking
- 21:28Speaker 3: berries and and and and all that stuff.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Oh gosh, I feel like I should change my answer
- 21:33Speaker 4: because I moved into an apartment once where the microwave
- 21:36Speaker 4: didn't work for a week and your girl was strugg
- 21:38Speaker 4: a little brother.
- 21:39Speaker 1: What do you eat when you don't have a.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Microll but you you're like the soup key.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I would be eating cold cans of soup. Ruined
- 21:46Speaker 3: my day, Jennifer.
- 21:47Speaker 1: What about you?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Oh, a hot shower, not a river, not a bucket,
- 21:50Speaker 2: not embracing nature.
- 21:52Speaker 5: I want steam, I want tile and the ability to
- 21:55Speaker 5: cry dramatically under running water.
- 21:57Speaker 1: That's that is a Jennifer. I think that's right now.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Wait listen, the right answer is none of us are
- 22:03Speaker 4: living off the grid.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You wouldn't give it a shot. No, all right? Seven
- 22:07Speaker 1: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 22:10Speaker 3: If you had to live off the grid, in a
- 22:12Speaker 3: pirate ship style boat home?
- 22:15Speaker 1: What luxury? Would you miss?
- 22:21Speaker 4: The wrong?
- 22:22Speaker 3: If you have a significant other? Uh, do you still
- 22:26Speaker 3: ask them to be your valentine? Seven oh one two
- 22:29Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven, Angie, go ahead and
- 22:32Speaker 3: let me know why I.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Am wrong, Okay, because it's very sweet to do that,
- 22:39Speaker 4: even if you've been together for a really long time.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It's just a nice way to say again, like I
- 22:45Speaker 4: choose you.
- 22:46Speaker 2: That sounds like a Pokemon thing. I choose you.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Gotta catch them all, but I I mean I asked
- 22:52Speaker 4: Mikey to be my Valentine. I wrote him a note
- 22:55Speaker 4: and it was like, roses are red, You're fine, like
- 22:58Speaker 4: wine be my Valentine or something.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I don't remember what I wrote, but you know I
- 23:03Speaker 2: have the check boxes.
- 23:04Speaker 1: We have our own Kendrick lamar over.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Here and he checked yes.
- 23:08Speaker 4: But then in return he asked me to be his Valentine.
- 23:13Speaker 4: And he did it with a really nice It was
- 23:15Speaker 4: a better card than mine, honestly, and he hit it
- 23:18Speaker 4: in the cereal box and then I found it. He
- 23:22Speaker 4: had Liam ask me for cereal, like can you open
- 23:25Speaker 4: the cereal for me?
- 23:26Speaker 2: And then I opened it and there was the car.
- 23:27Speaker 4: It was very sweet, and I checked yes that I
- 23:30Speaker 4: would be his Valentine. And I think that that's really nice,
- 23:34Speaker 4: and we have but this isn't our first Valentine's Day together.
- 23:38Speaker 4: We spent Valentine's Day together last year, like we've had
- 23:41Speaker 4: Valentin's before.
- 23:42Speaker 2: But I just feel like it's nice to ask.
- 23:45Speaker 4: I just think, why not take any opportunity to be romantic.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you on that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Sure you and don't ask Corey to be your Valentine.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Okay, let me tell you right now.
- 23:57Speaker 3: On September thirtieth, two thousand three, there's this little piece
- 24:02Speaker 3: of paper.
- 24:03Speaker 1: It's a very important piece of paper that I signed.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Okay that, whether I want it or not, that woman
- 24:13Speaker 3: will be my Valentine till death do us part. Okay, Yes,
- 24:18Speaker 3: it's cute. Sure, go ahead ask them to be your Valentine. Yeah,
- 24:22Speaker 3: I mean, what are they gonna say?
- 24:23Speaker 5: No?
- 24:24Speaker 4: Maybe that's how you find out you're getting before.
- 24:26Speaker 1: That would be wild.
- 24:28Speaker 3: But uh sure, I'll still ask Corey in like a
- 24:31Speaker 3: jokey haha way. But no, I don't worry whether or
- 24:34Speaker 3: not she'll be my Valentine.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Now.
- 24:36Speaker 3: If she's listening this morning, of course, I got something planned.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Growing, but I will. I still have time, I still
- 24:44Speaker 1: have twelve days. But I do not do this. I
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't think Corey does this either.
- 24:48Speaker 3: We're not the big We're not really a big like
- 24:51Speaker 3: Valentine's Eye kind of squad.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I will say this, whether you are big on Valentine's
- 24:56Speaker 4: or not. I get mad when people hate on that
- 25:00Speaker 4: Valentine's Day and they're like, that's they just made up
- 25:03Speaker 4: that holiday so they could sell cards like you should
- 25:06Speaker 4: love your partner every day, not just Valentine's Day.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Eh. And that always bothers.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Me because you could say that about any holiday, not
- 25:14Speaker 4: as true you could.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Say about any holiday.
- 25:16Speaker 4: So don't be a hater on Valentine's Day If you
- 25:19Speaker 4: don't like it, fine, boy, are you gonna hate on
- 25:21Speaker 4: everybody else?
- 25:22Speaker 3: I'm kind of with you there. Seven oh one two
- 25:24Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven. Do you still ask
- 25:27Speaker 3: your significant other to be your Valentine? Maybe this year
- 25:30Speaker 3: I will, Angie, I'll switch it up this year, just
- 25:34Speaker 3: for fun.
- 25:34Speaker 4: I have a very strong feeling you will forget Jody.
- 25:39Speaker 1: She did have some decent advice.
- 25:41Speaker 3: She said, when I lost my spouse in twenty twenty,
- 25:43Speaker 3: I realize that every day you are with your significant
- 25:45Speaker 3: other is Valentine's day?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Telling me love them every day what you definitely should
- 25:49Speaker 1: do every.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Single day with that before I leave the house, you know,
- 25:51Speaker 3: I tell Corey I love her, have a good day
- 25:53Speaker 3: in YadA, YadA, YadA. But that does not mean I
- 25:55Speaker 3: asked her to be extra important. On February fourteenth, I.
- 26:05Speaker 4: My man Mikey, I did accept being his Valentine, but
- 26:09Speaker 4: maybe I'm.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Taking it back.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Actually he's in the doghouse because he watched A Night
- 26:17Speaker 4: of the Seven Kingdoms without me. Our context, our context anything.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Game of Thrones is our show.
- 26:28Speaker 4: So House of the Dragon, which is a spinoff from
- 26:30Speaker 4: Game of Thrones, that's our show. We watched that together,
- 26:33Speaker 4: even when we were living in separate states and we
- 26:35Speaker 4: had to be long distance, we would watch it together
- 26:39Speaker 4: live texting each other.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Then the spinoff, A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, when
- 26:45Speaker 4: it was getting ready to come out. We were so
- 26:47Speaker 4: excited to have another Game of Thrones show to watch together.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Why were we lying in bed the other night?
- 26:54Speaker 4: And I hear coming from his phone British accents in
- 27:00Speaker 4: old timey language, and I thought, wait a minute, yes,
- 27:04Speaker 4: And I thought, what am I what are you watching?
- 27:08Speaker 4: And just so casually, as though he was saying the
- 27:12Speaker 4: sky is blue, he said, oh, Game of Thrones.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Thro duh, bruh.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I lost my day of mind, okay, because I was okay.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I was in recovery. I got a breast reduction.
- 27:25Speaker 4: I'm in recovery, and I'm kind of groggy. I'm not,
- 27:29Speaker 4: you know, because I'm on the meds and everything, and
- 27:32Speaker 4: so I when I was just in one of my
- 27:36Speaker 4: medicine naps, this man decided, I'm gonna watch the first
- 27:41Speaker 4: episode of a show that I'm supposed to watch with
- 27:43Speaker 4: Angie and then casually start watching the second episode of
- 27:48Speaker 4: a show I'm supposed to watch with Angie.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Wow.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I was livid. He couldn't seem to understand the problem.
- 27:57Speaker 4: He was like, well, you know you were sleeping. Dat
- 28:00Speaker 4: I don't care if I was sleeping, that's our shut.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna have Mikey write us an email for am
- 28:05Speaker 1: I the problem in this?
- 28:07Speaker 4: My gosh, yes, because defend yourself and you're not here
- 28:10Speaker 4: Mikey and I could say whatever I want right now.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven
- 28:15Speaker 3: Is there a TV show your significant other watched without you?
- 28:20Speaker 3: And I will say I have also done this, all right.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I don't know if dudes are more likely to do
- 28:26Speaker 3: this or ladies. It's probably a nice fifty to fifty.
- 28:29Speaker 3: But there was a time Corey and I were watching
- 28:31Speaker 3: a show and she fell asleep and I went ahead
- 28:34Speaker 3: and continued on with like two or three episodes.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I know I can't remember the show, but I definitely
- 28:41Speaker 1: remember the next day.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Can you remember the wrath?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Well?
- 28:44Speaker 3: No, because I lied, Okay, I was a big fat liar.
- 28:49Speaker 3: And she said, well, what episode did you get?
- 28:52Speaker 5: Like?
- 28:52Speaker 3: You didn't watch it without me, right, you just shut
- 28:53Speaker 3: it off? And I was like, well, yeah, of course.
- 28:56Speaker 3: And I sat there and watched two episodes of this
- 28:58Speaker 3: show with her and tended to be surprised on all
- 29:02Speaker 3: of these ah, when I knew exactly how those episodes.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Corey is listening right now, So that you face the
- 29:12Speaker 4: wrath of pregnant Corey.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Oh, you shouldn't have admitted that.
- 29:16Speaker 3: It does feel good to get that off my best
- 29:18Speaker 3: at that. I feel a lot better. And what did
- 29:20Speaker 3: you call that a medicine nap?
- 29:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I call it.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Like six bush lights on a medicine napp.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Starting off the day with something good.
- 29:34Speaker 3: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Zd's Italian American in West Fargo has been a major
- 29:45Speaker 3: success since opening in July, quickly building a loyal customer base. However,
- 29:50Speaker 3: owners Pat and Gabby say the restaurant's awkward entrance and
- 29:55Speaker 3: limited space have created challenges, including a cramped waiting area
- 29:59Speaker 3: and no private dining options. Well, it wouldn't be Gabe's
- 30:02Speaker 3: good news of the day if there wasn't a turnaround here.
- 30:05Speaker 3: After their neighboring businesses moved out, the restaurant is now
- 30:08Speaker 3: expanding into an additional nine hundred and two about one
- 30:12Speaker 3: thousand square feet.
- 30:13Speaker 1: The renovation will create.
- 30:15Speaker 3: A new main entrance, a larger lobby with retail items,
- 30:18Speaker 3: improved kitchen space, and a private dining room for eighteen
- 30:21Speaker 3: to twenty four guests. Dry storage will also be relocated
- 30:25Speaker 3: to create a market style hallway for diners, and construction
- 30:29Speaker 3: could be finished as early as March or April, and
- 30:32Speaker 3: the owners say they're grateful the restaurant has grown enough
- 30:36Speaker 3: to make expansion possible.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That's wild. As early as March or April.
- 30:41Speaker 4: I know you just went there to eat with Corey
- 30:43Speaker 4: and you guys like loved it as there's wonder so
- 30:47Speaker 4: many people in the comments who when you guys had
- 30:49Speaker 4: gone to eat somewhere else, they were telling you you
- 30:51Speaker 4: got to chase Zd's.
- 30:52Speaker 2: You got a chizz.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Ladies let us know.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, so this is exciting news. I have yet to
- 30:57Speaker 4: go to zd So I need to get myself in gear.
- 31:00Speaker 4: But maybe I'll just wait for the expansion to get
- 31:02Speaker 4: the full experience.
- 31:03Speaker 1: There you go, way to go to Zd's Italian American.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Good for them.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I think this is wonderful that they can expand a
- 31:09Speaker 3: little bit. And I think it's great when there's a
- 31:11Speaker 3: restaurant that people really like and go and support it
- 31:14Speaker 3: to make things like this possible. So awesome news for them.
- 31:18Speaker 3: And the world is full of nice people. If you
- 31:20Speaker 3: can't find one, you gotta be one.
