- 0:01Speaker 1: Now seven wor presents, no marks you own show. Hello,
- 0:12Speaker 1: welcome to the show. Oh well, I don't know what
- 0:17Speaker 1: to tell you. I don't know what to tell you. Listen,
- 0:19Speaker 1: we got through the pandemic. We'll get through this. We'll
- 0:22Speaker 1: get through this. We got through eight years of Doblasio.
- 0:24Speaker 1: We'll get through this. We'll go over everything that happened,
- 0:27Speaker 1: what's going to happen. A couple of things. We now
- 0:31Speaker 1: have all the results in all the numbers. Only half
- 0:34Speaker 1: of New York voted, but that's high turnout. It was
- 0:36Speaker 1: a big, big turnout, biggest turnout in a couple of decades.
- 0:40Speaker 1: But it was still only about fifty percent of the
- 0:43Speaker 1: voters showed up. It went over two million. Looks like
- 0:47Speaker 1: if you look through the numbers, it's pretty apparent that
- 0:49Speaker 1: Andrew Cuombo had no chance ever at any time, and
- 0:53Speaker 1: it had nothing to do with Curtis. If you added
- 0:55Speaker 1: in Curtis's votes, he still would be several points behind mine, Donnie.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So there's there was no chance, zero chance for Andrew
- 1:05Speaker 1: Cuomo to win none. You know, there's this fantasy if
- 1:09Speaker 1: Curtis dropped out, well, then those votes would go to
- 1:12Speaker 1: Cuomo and then he would win. First of all, if
- 1:14Speaker 1: Curtis were to drop out, you figure about half the
- 1:17Speaker 1: votes would go to Cuomo, half would stay home. There's
- 1:19Speaker 1: actual polling data that shows that. But even if he
- 1:22Speaker 1: got every single voter of Curtis's, which would be impossible,
- 1:26Speaker 1: but even if he did, he still would lose Tom
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm Donnie by a few points. So Cuomo never had
- 1:31Speaker 1: a chance. The real problem is everybody can't stand the guy.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And he had a horrible record as governor, just a
- 1:41Speaker 1: disastrous governor. He did horrible things to New York and
- 1:46Speaker 1: the single handedly caused the crime wave with his no bail,
- 1:49Speaker 1: no jail in closing the prisons and all. And then
- 1:51Speaker 1: the list I could read you the list of twenty
- 1:53Speaker 1: horrible things he did to New York. So he and
- 1:56Speaker 1: he left in disgrace. He resigned in disgrace. I mean,
- 2:02Speaker 1: he just didn't have a chance to add to that.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I mean, it'd be one thing if you were really
- 2:05Speaker 1: likable guy. Remember Maryon Barry mayor of DC who got
- 2:09Speaker 1: caught in all kinds of scandal. But he was a
- 2:11Speaker 1: likable guy. He was a charming guy. People kind of
- 2:14Speaker 1: had a little affection for him. That this is not
- 2:16Speaker 1: the case with Clomo. Nobody likes the guy and he
- 2:20Speaker 1: never had a shot. Now, the problem is Culomo had
- 2:25Speaker 1: no chance at all because another reason, main reason, he
- 2:29Speaker 1: was totally out of shape politically, just totally rusty, out
- 2:33Speaker 1: of shape politically. And he came alive the last week
- 2:37Speaker 1: or two he got some energy. He started doing speeches, rallies,
- 2:41Speaker 1: he started doing appearances, he started to sound sharp, he
- 2:44Speaker 1: started to get a bit of a message. But those
- 2:46Speaker 1: the last two weeks. Then for the first two months
- 2:49Speaker 1: he was just awful, totally rusty, totally out of shape politically.
- 2:54Speaker 1: He was absolute disaster. In the primary. In both those
- 2:57Speaker 1: debates he got wiped out and had nothing to do
- 3:00Speaker 1: with rank choice. He lost every round of the popular vote.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And then the primary ended, and then he decided to
- 3:07Speaker 1: run on some third party and he didn't really run.
- 3:09Speaker 1: He did no appearances, he did no rallies, knowing he
- 3:12Speaker 1: did very few interviews. There was a month or two
- 3:15Speaker 1: of him doing absolutely nothing. That's when he needed to
- 3:19Speaker 1: get the momentum going. Then even in the general, there
- 3:23Speaker 1: was a period remember not long ago, he took ten
- 3:26Speaker 1: days off. Who takes ten days off in the middle
- 3:28Speaker 1: of a campaign, So he didn't get it together until
- 3:32Speaker 1: last two. He's way too late, way too late. You
- 3:34Speaker 1: got it. You know, that's why candidates go to Iowa
- 3:38Speaker 1: a year or you know, a year and a few
- 3:40Speaker 1: months before in elections to get the messaging honed, to
- 3:43Speaker 1: get in shape. It's like spring training. You gotta get
- 3:46Speaker 1: up to speed. He never did any of that. A
- 3:48Speaker 1: curtis the reason he was great in the debates. This
- 3:50Speaker 1: guy was working twenty four to seven for a year,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I mean, rally after rally, speech after speech, NonStop. Anybody
- 3:57Speaker 1: wanted to interview him, just the opposite of qu So
- 4:01Speaker 1: Cuomo screwed up the primary debates. He screwed up the
- 4:04Speaker 1: first mayor old debate, did okay in the fourth one,
- 4:07Speaker 1: but again way too late. And then he had the
- 4:09Speaker 1: other problem of being this tired old fossil, this old
- 4:13Speaker 1: dinosaur politician from another era. And Chuck Schumer, you better
- 4:17Speaker 1: take notice of that. Today's Democratic voters have had enough
- 4:21Speaker 1: with you old dinosaurs from other eras. Kathy Hochel, you too,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you better take notice of this. So it was a
- 4:28Speaker 1: historic turnout. It looks like it'll be about two point
- 4:31Speaker 1: two million. Those other bad news. It was a very
- 4:36Speaker 1: bad night for a lot of reasons. Alvin Bragg easily
- 4:40Speaker 1: won reelection. Alvin Bragg won reelection Westchester County. We were
- 4:45Speaker 1: hoping to get a Republican county executive, the Democrat Jenkins won.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Not The only thing is in Westchester County, the county
- 4:52Speaker 1: executive doesn't really do much of anything. The legislature runs everything.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But and it's just in that county. It's not a
- 5:00Speaker 1: count executive doesn't have a lot of power there. New Jersey.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It looks like Chitarelly. I mean, we liked the guy,
- 5:07Speaker 1: but he wasn't a great candidate. He was okay, but
- 5:09Speaker 1: he wasn't great. That Maybe Mikey Cheryl wasn't much of
- 5:11Speaker 1: a candidate either. But the MAGA base there in New
- 5:15Speaker 1: Jersey did not turn out for Chittarelly. They're not too
- 5:18Speaker 1: fired up about Chitarelly. So he didn't just lose, he
- 5:23Speaker 1: really lost. This is his third time and he's losing
- 5:26Speaker 1: by more and more each time he runs. So it's
- 5:29Speaker 1: it's not a good sign.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Mom.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Donnie, big night, big victory speech, he was the star
- 5:36Speaker 1: of the night. I guarantee you, I guarantee you. AOC
- 5:41Speaker 1: is not happy about this. AOC who wants to be
- 5:44Speaker 1: the leader of the Waco side of the party is
- 5:48Speaker 1: now no longer that. It's Mom Donnie. He's the first.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I think he's all these things. He's the first Muslim mayor.
- 5:55Speaker 1: He's the first Indian mayor. I could add to the
- 5:59Speaker 1: He's the first mayor without a job, never never worked,
- 6:01Speaker 1: never did anything. He's the first mayor who just became
- 6:05Speaker 1: a citizen two weeks ago. He's the first mayor who's
- 6:08Speaker 1: twelve years old. I mean, there's a lot of that
- 6:10Speaker 1: stuff now. He shocked a lot of people with the
- 6:12Speaker 1: victory speech. There were a couple of Curtis was in
- 6:17Speaker 1: some sort of a look like a bar restaurant, like
- 6:19Speaker 1: a pub on the Upper east Side doing his thing,
- 6:23Speaker 1: and Mom Donnie had a big theater with a lot
- 6:26Speaker 1: of people there. Cuomo for his election night rented the
- 6:32Speaker 1: Zigfield Ballroom, which is right over there. It's right across
- 6:35Speaker 1: the street from us. I can see it out the window.
- 6:37Speaker 1: The Zigfield Ballroom is a very expensive venue. It's a
- 6:43Speaker 1: very nice venue. People have their weddings there, big charity gallows.
- 6:47Speaker 1: It's a very nice venue, but it's very expensive. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: don't know what this Cuomo is thinking, well, I know
- 6:52Speaker 1: what he's thinking. He's got these billionaire donors, and again,
- 6:56Speaker 1: they're lovely people, but when they get into politics, they
- 6:58Speaker 1: don't know what the hell they're doing. And as long
- 7:01Speaker 1: as they're paying for it. Cuomo takes the most enormous, big,
- 7:04Speaker 1: beautiful venue. It's a venue that will hold a couple
- 7:06Speaker 1: thousand people. He only had a couple hundred, so there
- 7:10Speaker 1: was a lot of empty space. There no reason to
- 7:12Speaker 1: take such an expensive place, but he did. It's the
- 7:15Speaker 1: donor's money, what does he care? And he did his speech.
- 7:19Speaker 1: It was a nice speech. It was a good speech.
- 7:21Speaker 3: This campaign was to contest the philosophies that are shaping
- 7:27Speaker 3: the Democratic Party, the future of this city and the
- 7:32Speaker 3: future of this country. Well, all right, this campaign was
- 7:38Speaker 3: the right fight to wage. And I am proud of
- 7:43Speaker 3: what we did and what we did together.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he went on to he made this whole thing
- 7:48Speaker 1: about we gave it our all, We fought our hearts out,
- 7:51Speaker 1: we left everything on the field. Thank god a light
- 7:55Speaker 1: detector wasn't hook up to him. There would have been
- 7:57Speaker 1: a massive blackout all over the East coast. Gave it all.
- 8:01Speaker 1: He didn't campaign at all for the first couple of months.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Even in recent times, he took ten days off in
- 8:06Speaker 1: the middle of the elect I wouldn't call that leaving
- 8:08Speaker 1: it all on the field. But here's more of Cuomo.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Two million voters, the largest number in modern political history,
- 8:17Speaker 4: cared enough to show up in a municipal election, and.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Forty two percent voted.
- 8:25Speaker 4: For us on an independent line.
- 8:30Speaker 1: All right, that's pretty good. Now. The only thing is
- 8:32Speaker 1: you got to keep repeating this. You got to keep
- 8:34Speaker 1: remembering this. If Curtis were not in the race, if
- 8:37Speaker 1: Cuomo had every last Curtis voter, which is impossibly, he
- 8:40Speaker 1: wouldn't have gotten them all. But if he had every
- 8:42Speaker 1: Curtis voter, he still would have lost by a few points.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And Mom Donnie won. This was the part nobody quite expected.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Mom Donnie did win a majority of the votes, fifty
- 8:53Speaker 1: almost fifty one percent. He did win a majority of
- 8:56Speaker 1: the votes.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Congratulations to Zora Monday.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Now that's great. He still can't pronounce the guy's name.
- 9:06Speaker 1: It's Momdanni, but Cuomo always says mom, dammy.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Congratulations to zoron Mondami.
- 9:18Speaker 5: No no, no, no.
- 9:20Speaker 4: No, no, that is no.
- 9:24Speaker 1: That is not right. That hey, that is not right.
- 9:28Speaker 4: And that is not us.
- 9:30Speaker 1: That is not us. Cuomo is the most gracious man.
- 9:34Speaker 1: That's not us. He's a very gracious, humble when the
- 9:37Speaker 1: camera's on, as soon as it's all oh, if he's
- 9:39Speaker 1: threatening everybody, yelling, screaming at everybody.
- 9:41Speaker 5: From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and
- 9:45Speaker 5: every one of you. I love you for the fight
- 9:50Speaker 5: you made, for the soul that you showed, and the
- 9:55Speaker 5: example that you said.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He loves you. You could drop dead, you'll step right
- 10:00Speaker 1: over your body, But when the camera's on, when the
- 10:03Speaker 1: MIC's on, he loves you. So now here's the thing
- 10:08Speaker 1: about mom Donnie. We know he's a phony, we know
- 10:11Speaker 1: he's a con man, but we didn't know which way. Well,
- 10:13Speaker 1: it looks like this is bad because when he made
- 10:16Speaker 1: his big victory speech, that's normally when you congratulate Andrew
- 10:20Speaker 1: Cuomo in a good fight and all that. But he
- 10:23Speaker 1: got kind of ugly in the victory speech. This is
- 10:28Speaker 1: something he didn't do in the campaign trally. He was
- 10:29Speaker 1: always the smiling salesman. He was a different guy. In
- 10:36Speaker 1: his victory speech. He got angry at times. He got
- 10:38Speaker 1: really aggressively angry, not just a Trump but at Cuomo.
- 10:43Speaker 1: He said, I hope to never utter his name again.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I mean, it's a kind of anger you don't usually show.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So if this is the real hymn, this is not
- 10:51Speaker 1: a good sign.
- 10:51Speaker 6: In this new age we make for ourselves, we will
- 10:55Speaker 6: refuse to allow those who traffic in division and hate
- 11:00Speaker 6: to pity us against one another.
- 11:02Speaker 1: There was this whole campaign pitting you against the billionaires.
- 11:06Speaker 1: The billionaires, they're right to get you and the gender.
- 11:08Speaker 6: It will freeze the rents for more than two million rents,
- 11:11Speaker 6: stabilized tenants. Matt Bus is fast and free and deliver
- 11:21Speaker 6: a universal child care across in the city.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, now that all sounds great. Now you know
- 11:26Speaker 1: he can't do it, But he tapped into something and
- 11:29Speaker 1: this is what really the election was all about, and
- 11:31Speaker 1: all over the country's he was right about affordability. People
- 11:35Speaker 1: are upset about prices and it's not just a product
- 11:40Speaker 1: and flay. Inflation is actually coming down. It's gonna you know,
- 11:43Speaker 1: it takes a while. Biden had it at record heights.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It's coming down. But still people feel that everything is
- 11:49Speaker 1: too expensive, and they're talking about insurance and rent and
- 11:52Speaker 1: all this stuff. People just think everything's too expensive and
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's not that it's Trump's fault or anybody's fault. But
- 11:59Speaker 1: when they feel that they'll vote against the establishment, they'll
- 12:02Speaker 1: come out in great numbers and just they just hate
- 12:04Speaker 1: the establishment, they blame them, and they'll go with the
- 12:07Speaker 1: anti establishment candidates.
- 12:09Speaker 6: We won because we insisted that it no longer would
- 12:12Speaker 6: politics be something that is done to us. Now it
- 12:16Speaker 6: is something that we do.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I don't know what that meant, but it sounded good.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Hope over journey, hope over big money and small ideas,
- 12:27Speaker 6: hope over despair. We won because New Yorkers allowed themselves
- 12:33Speaker 6: to hope that the impossible could be made possible.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I hope this guy'sn't gonna yell like this for
- 12:39Speaker 1: four years. You can get a headache after a while.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Actually, the reason he's yelling Cuomo's in a massive ballroom,
- 12:44Speaker 1: but there's only a handful of people there. This guy's
- 12:48Speaker 1: he really had a crowd. This guy had thousands of people.
- 12:51Speaker 1: In fact, even the press told me there was like
- 12:54Speaker 1: a press line. You had to wait in line like
- 12:56Speaker 1: an hour to get in. There was so much press
- 12:57Speaker 1: to cover this.
- 12:58Speaker 6: Every New Yorker, whether you voted for me for one
- 13:02Speaker 6: of my opponents or felt too disappointed by politics to
- 13:05Speaker 6: vote at all. Thank you for the opportunity to prove
- 13:09Speaker 6: myself worthy of your trust.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Now let's remember it was the weirdest election, just a
- 13:14Speaker 1: strange election. First of all, the Democrats. You got to
- 13:17Speaker 1: be mad at them. Look what the Democrats did to
- 13:19Speaker 1: the Democrats. They nominate a crazy socialist and then after
- 13:28Speaker 1: that that's a problem. So now they tell you to
- 13:30Speaker 1: vote for this disgraced governor who had to quit in
- 13:32Speaker 1: total disgrace, who everybody hates that. This is the choice
- 13:34Speaker 1: they gave you. The Republicans are r. Curtis is a
- 13:37Speaker 1: pretty good guy, but there's no Republican Party. There was
- 13:40Speaker 1: no machine behind him, no ground game, no get out
- 13:43Speaker 1: the vote game, no anything. And you end up with
- 13:47Speaker 1: You end up with Mom, Donnie, my friends.
- 13:50Speaker 6: We have toppled a political dynasty New York tonight.
- 13:56Speaker 7: You have delivered.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Fortune.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Now the other thing, it's done. We don't have the clip,
- 14:04Speaker 1: but he did say one point something, thank you to
- 14:07Speaker 1: Andrew Cuomo, and I'll be happy to have to never
- 14:10Speaker 1: utter his name again. Well, okay, if you want to
- 14:16Speaker 1: look at the silver lining or whatever, I think we're
- 14:19Speaker 1: done with Cuomo. We don't ever have to worry about
- 14:21Speaker 1: him taking office again. So you've probably finally rid of Cuomo.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Although that guy's like herpies. It always comes back, you know,
- 14:28Speaker 1: it never goes away forever. But it's been it's just
- 14:34Speaker 1: been a weird, weird night. Everybody very up, so we
- 14:36Speaker 1: don't know what's going to happen. The transition is underway.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Eric Adams says that he had a transition team putting
- 14:46Speaker 1: together everything a new mayor would need to have, see documents, books,
- 14:50Speaker 1: explanations of things. They've been putting that together for weeks
- 14:54Speaker 1: and they have beginning the process of handing it over
- 14:56Speaker 1: to the Mom Donnie team. Now there's a lot of
- 15:00Speaker 1: de Blasio people on this Mom Donnie team, so they
- 15:04Speaker 1: have some experience in city hall. But anyway, we've got
- 15:08Speaker 1: a lot to get to. We'll go over the mail
- 15:11Speaker 1: race throughout the show. We'll get to Jack Smith. It
- 15:15Speaker 1: turns out Jack Smith is Watergate times a million, bugging
- 15:18Speaker 1: people's phones, even the President of the United States. He
- 15:21Speaker 1: even tapped his phone. So, Woodward Bernstein, where are you?
- 15:27Speaker 1: You should be on this story. But we'll get to
- 15:29Speaker 1: all of this coming up. We'll take some calls next,
- 15:31Speaker 1: we'll see what people have to say. Hey, once again,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Curtis was not a factor. He didn't cost anybody to race.
- 15:38Speaker 1: If you took every Curtis voter and added it into Cuomo,
- 15:41Speaker 1: Cuomo still loses by a few points. But we'll take
- 15:44Speaker 1: some calls next. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 15:48Speaker 1: seven ten is the number eight hundred three to two
- 15:51Speaker 1: one zero seven ten.
- 15:53Speaker 8: The Moon Show, delivery the news before it is on
- 15:57Speaker 8: seven ten WR.
- 16:00Speaker 1: A lot of people upset today. Let's take some calls.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Let's go to Mike in New Jersey. Mike, how you doing.
- 16:07Speaker 9: I'm great, Well, okay, Mark, Uh, we're looking our wounds
- 16:11Speaker 9: here in New Jersey. But for those people who are
- 16:14Speaker 9: pointing at Curtis, my question is this, if if Cuomo
- 16:18Speaker 9: is such a political uh professional, he should have known
- 16:23Speaker 9: that the.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Third party No, no, Curtis. Curtis had nothing to do with
- 16:26Speaker 1: Cuemo's loss. Curtis had nothing to do with it. If
- 16:28Speaker 1: you could, you could take every Curtis voter added into
- 16:30Speaker 1: Cuomo's column. He still lost by a few points, and
- 16:33Speaker 1: Curtis had nothing to do with Cuomo's loss. Let's go
- 16:36Speaker 1: to Phil and Queen's Phil how you doing.
- 16:39Speaker 10: Hey, I wanted to apologize to you. I did confuse
- 16:42Speaker 10: you with somebody another uh hook the other day. So
- 16:46Speaker 10: I'm sorry.
- 16:47Speaker 1: You're the best. We don't know what you're talking about,
- 16:49Speaker 1: but thanks.
- 16:51Speaker 10: No, no, I thought you were a little down on Curtis,
- 16:54Speaker 10: but I apologize.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You got the wrong shot.
- 16:59Speaker 10: Let's and it was like Crystal Knock last night, only
- 17:02Speaker 10: without the broken glass. It's really really disgusting and I
- 17:08Speaker 10: just can't can't get over it. And it's a sad day.
- 17:13Speaker 10: The only good part is maybe, uh you know, maybe
- 17:19Speaker 10: having the sky is the titro ahead of the Democrat
- 17:22Speaker 10: Party will Well.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It's bad for the Democrats. You're right, it's not good
- 17:24Speaker 1: for them. Also, we got rid of Andrew Cormwell that's
- 17:26Speaker 1: a good thing. I mean, you hope they never see
- 17:28Speaker 1: this guy again. But it's a bad thing. Listen, it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: it's this is like a second pandemic. Well, it's a pandemic.
- 17:34Speaker 1: We'll get through it.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Now.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Remember Donald Trumps president. That's the good news. He can
- 17:39Speaker 1: should anything happen bad here, crime, whatever, he can do something,
- 17:43Speaker 1: send in the National Guard, figure out something, send in
- 17:45Speaker 1: federal agents. It's it's Trump. He'll figure out something. Also,
- 17:50Speaker 1: remember hokeel this, this is the end of Hokeal. She'll
- 17:54Speaker 1: be responsible from Mom Downie. That picture of them arm
- 17:57Speaker 1: in arm will be used against her. So you really
- 17:59Speaker 1: only have one. You're a mom, Donnie. If you get
- 18:01Speaker 1: a good governor Bruce Blakeman, at least Stephanic somebody a
- 18:05Speaker 1: year from now, they can actually they have the power
- 18:07Speaker 1: to remove Mom, Donnie. Let's go to Bob in New Rochelle, Bob,
- 18:12Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 18:13Speaker 11: I've been better, Mark, I've been better.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It just boggles the mind. And that many people can
- 18:17Speaker 2: be that stupid.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Well, apparently they can.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yes, And you're also right, there is.
- 18:27Speaker 11: One silver lining all this.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Did we lose him? Nope? I guess we lost him, Bob.
- 18:35Speaker 1: What's the silver lining?
- 18:37Speaker 10: That we won't have to hear that annoying nasally voice anymore?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Which one, Cuomo? You won't have to hear him talk
- 18:46Speaker 1: to you like you're stupid. Yeah, you won't have to.
- 18:50Speaker 1: But again, he's like herpes. He always comes back. It
- 18:52Speaker 1: always comes back. Let's go to Shelley and Long Island. Shelley,
- 18:57Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 18:59Speaker 12: Hey, good morning? Mark said for New York. Do you
- 19:03Speaker 12: think that Jack Smith or any of these other corrupt judges,
- 19:06Speaker 12: et cetera. Are ever going to be arrested?
- 19:09Speaker 1: Are we ever going to Oh yeah, Jack Smith, Will
- 19:10Speaker 1: Will Jack Smith. It looks like they got him. We'll
- 19:12Speaker 1: get to this a little later. It looks like they
- 19:14Speaker 1: really got Jack Smith on some stuff. Right now. Where
- 19:16Speaker 1: are you in Long.
- 19:17Speaker 12: Island in the Siacid area?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Oh, that's Nassau County. You got Bruce Blakeman, you got
- 19:23Speaker 1: Anne Donnelly reacted. You're in good shit?
- 19:26Speaker 8: God? Yeah, yeah, thank god.
- 19:28Speaker 1: That's like a model for the whole country. Bruce Blakeman,
- 19:30Speaker 1: best county executive in America. Let's go to Bill Lafayette,
- 19:35Speaker 1: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing?
- 19:38Speaker 13: I'm doing pretty crowmy Mark. I am convinced that Manhattan
- 19:41Speaker 13: and all the democratic boroughs are loaded with a bunch
- 19:44Speaker 13: of educated idiots. Sheryl and Mandami campaign to go after Trump.
- 19:51Speaker 13: What happened to nonpartisanship. Let's work together to make this
- 19:54Speaker 13: place a better, better world to live in.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gonna happen. That's not going to happen.
- 20:01Speaker 13: But Tondami is gonna be for criminals. And they interviewed
- 20:06Speaker 13: a retired police officer from New York and New York,
- 20:09Speaker 13: and he mentioned that there will be a mass accident way.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Well, listen, there's some cops they'll tell you it's gonna
- 20:16Speaker 1: be a mass exodus. There's some cops that tell you
- 20:19Speaker 1: there won't be a max mass exodus for reasons you
- 20:23Speaker 1: don't think of. First of all, a lot of these guys,
- 20:24Speaker 1: especially they're older, they got a pension they're working towards.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Then they don't give up the pension. Also, when you
- 20:30Speaker 1: get one of these soft on crime, uh crazy mayors,
- 20:35Speaker 1: the job actually becomes easier. You don't have to go
- 20:37Speaker 1: chasing criminals around, you know, in fact you're supposed to
- 20:39Speaker 1: not respond so much. It becomes a much easier job.
- 20:42Speaker 1: So there are some that might leave as a result,
- 20:45Speaker 1: but some that might not just want to stay and
- 20:47Speaker 1: get that get that uh that pension. Let's go to Michael.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Where are you, Michael, Manhattan?
- 20:54Speaker 14: Oh yes, Manhattan. First, lad with gleabs for you from
- 20:58Speaker 14: that I thought I told her that you were my
- 21:04Speaker 14: morning vitamins.
- 21:05Speaker 1: You have regards for me from Sarah at iHeart.
- 21:10Speaker 14: Yeah, I met her at the event.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Hell Sarah at I heard, Do we know Sarah at iHeart?
- 21:17Speaker 14: She has email address.
- 21:20Speaker 1: It's like four hundred people working here. I don't know.
- 21:22Speaker 1: There must be a couple of.
- 21:24Speaker 14: Next point that people haven't noticed is that the proposed
- 21:31Speaker 14: in California for redistricting went through.
- 21:35Speaker 1: We all noticed it, of course we noticed it.
- 21:40Speaker 14: Yeah, but it's going to spare spare real trouble for
- 21:45Speaker 14: the House of Representation.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Well, actually, some people think not. Some people think not
- 21:49Speaker 1: because the fact that it went through will make it
- 21:51Speaker 1: easier for the Republicans to do the same thing in
- 21:53Speaker 1: all the other states with less objection. If the Democrats
- 21:56Speaker 1: can do it, they'll be able to do it. Where
- 21:57Speaker 1: are you in Manhattan? Is this a tough question? Hope
- 22:05Speaker 1: we lost them. Hey, when we come back, we'll talk
- 22:07Speaker 1: to the Dean himself, Ed Rollins. We'll see what he
- 22:10Speaker 1: thinks about what happened last night. We'll get to Ed
- 22:13Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor Marc Simone on wo R. Well,
- 22:20Speaker 1: let's talk to the Dean himself, Ed Rollins. He's run
- 22:23Speaker 1: more campaigns, more of the successful campaigns than anybody on Earth.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Ed Rollins, how you doing well?
- 22:30Speaker 2: Thank you? How are you now?
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm good? What the hell happened last day?
- 22:35Speaker 2: We got our butts kicked? Meeting Republicans. At the end
- 22:39Speaker 2: of the day, Democrats heart maneuvers and certainly had and
- 22:46Speaker 2: at the end of the day, what they did is
- 22:47Speaker 2: they created one crazy candidate here in New York, which
- 22:50Speaker 2: we have to win with the new mayor, inexperienced and
- 22:53Speaker 2: certainly socialist by inclination, and two progressive women who got
- 22:59Speaker 2: new governors of Virginia and New Jersey. The women I
- 23:03Speaker 2: worry about more because they're articulate and they had an
- 23:05Speaker 2: interesting story, and they blew us out. I mean, the
- 23:08Speaker 2: margins were a weak better than anybody anticipated. So first
- 23:12Speaker 2: thing we got to do, we got to shoot all
- 23:13Speaker 2: the posters and at least at least the posters they're
- 23:16Speaker 2: giving bad numbers and getting the trenches. This is the
- 23:20Speaker 2: reality is a year from now is when it all matters.
- 23:24Speaker 2: This president as president loses this majority in the House
- 23:28Speaker 2: and the Senate serving in the House as possible, then
- 23:32Speaker 2: he got us in the last two years in legal
- 23:35Speaker 2: entanglements and potential impeachments and all the rest of it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: So he's got to basically get his focus in his
- 23:41Speaker 2: White House, his teams focused on those midterms that they
- 23:46Speaker 2: have been focused to date. You got to pick the
- 23:48Speaker 2: twenty or thirty members that are vulnerable, and you can
- 23:51Speaker 2: do everything you can to build up their resources. You
- 23:55Speaker 2: got to do a real examination of what did happen
- 23:57Speaker 2: to us yesterday, No delusion, no Uh. Democrats went out
- 24:02Speaker 2: and they got organized. They turned people out. There's still
- 24:04Speaker 2: a lot of anger out there in this country and
- 24:06Speaker 2: they have to deal with.
- 24:07Speaker 1: It now, Ed Rollins, you've seen them all come and go.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Can you reassure us that we are once and for
- 24:12Speaker 1: all done with Andrew Cuomo. We're not going to see
- 24:14Speaker 1: him again in a race, are we?
- 24:17Speaker 2: Absolutely not. That's lucky. I hope he runs for president
- 24:23Speaker 2: and gets the nomination of the Democratics. Not a kid, No, no,
- 24:28Speaker 2: he's he's finished and I don't know what he does
- 24:31Speaker 2: but at the end of the day and go live
- 24:32Speaker 2: on his government pensions. But he ran a terrible campaign.
- 24:36Speaker 2: At the end of the day, people didn't turn to Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 2: even even the governor, governor or the other offices he
- 24:44Speaker 2: said this. Yeah, I think people are tired of the legacy,
- 24:47Speaker 2: and he did. He didn't make his case well. Uh.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And the fact that he rebuilt Maguardia and the train
- 24:55Speaker 2: station is not what people are looking for today, how
- 24:58Speaker 2: he make their life better? So?
- 25:00Speaker 1: So, uh explain mont DOMI to us. He's a he's
- 25:03Speaker 1: a good salesman. He is a nice, glib, fast talker.
- 25:06Speaker 1: He sounded very slick. Uh. But there's no substances, no resume,
- 25:11Speaker 1: no no history of a job. Well how did he
- 25:13Speaker 1: do this?
- 25:16Speaker 2: You know, that's going to be a big story and
- 25:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna look into it a lot more
- 25:20Speaker 2: than I have today. Uh. Uh, I mean it's a
- 25:23Speaker 2: you know, I've talked about this for several weeks now,
- 25:25Speaker 2: and he's a new phenomenon. He turned young people on
- 25:28Speaker 2: because I think people were just tired of the status
- 25:30Speaker 2: quo and they this is this is the tough city
- 25:33Speaker 2: to live in. It's a tough city to govern. Uh.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And my my worries is, what's what's this direction? It's
- 25:39Speaker 2: going to be AOC and Bernie Sanders coming in here
- 25:42Speaker 2: as this senior advisors or of the people that work
- 25:45Speaker 2: for those two guys, don't guy or is it going
- 25:48Speaker 2: to be his own team? As he is, he kind
- 25:51Speaker 2: of gets subs and people. I doubt that. That's my
- 25:53Speaker 2: My fear is not it is not him alone.
- 25:56Speaker 9: Uh.
- 25:56Speaker 2: You know, we've We've survived the Bill Blood the Blazos before,
- 25:59Speaker 2: which was terrible mayors. But this guy has some dangerous
- 26:03Speaker 2: thoughts and is it the people that puts around him
- 26:05Speaker 2: are even more dangerous. That's what I worry about.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Hey, but we used to have for mayor like Rudy
- 26:10Speaker 1: Giuliani was a highly qualified guy when he ran him.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Incredible crime fighting history, you, Michael Bloomberg, incredible business resume.
- 26:17Speaker 1: The last three guys, the Blasio Adams and this guy
- 26:21Speaker 1: are just charming guys with no experience at all. What
- 26:24Speaker 1: is this some kind of new trend we got to
- 26:25Speaker 1: worry about?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah? I think so well to them to him fail
- 26:29Speaker 2: miserably and uh you know, and this this one I
- 26:32Speaker 2: think will fail even worse because what his natural inclination
- 26:36Speaker 2: is and the people are going to advise him. Meaning again,
- 26:39Speaker 2: AOC's people are are not what this country. The city needs.
- 26:44Speaker 2: The city needs a pro business. Uh you know, people,
- 26:49Speaker 2: people want the city to be stable, and it's not
- 26:52Speaker 2: going to be stable with their socialist policies.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Come in. Now, you live in New York. How bad
- 26:57Speaker 1: is this going to be? What? What? What's going to
- 26:59Speaker 1: happen to?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Uh? I'm an old man so I'm just I'm just
- 27:04Speaker 2: hoping I survive it. Uh. You know, there's so much,
- 27:08Speaker 2: there's so much to the city that h that's magical.
- 27:12Speaker 2: But right today it's it's struggling. And the change in
- 27:15Speaker 2: the demographics. The fascinating parties to look at the early
- 27:19Speaker 2: pool stuff is that you know, Brooklyn is a is
- 27:22Speaker 2: a place that this guy went in and basically built
- 27:25Speaker 2: the built the base, and you know Staten Island is
- 27:29Speaker 2: sort of the Republican base and everything else is now different.
- 27:33Speaker 2: We have a very important governor's race and that what
- 27:35Speaker 2: I bothered me is there's some assumptions now that we've
- 27:38Speaker 2: got a great chance with our candidate to win the governorship.
- 27:41Speaker 2: We do, but we don't do that unless we put
- 27:44Speaker 2: in a reorganization together. And this is not as this
- 27:47Speaker 2: is not a party has put any organizations. This is
- 27:49Speaker 2: the tacky.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, that's another problem. You've got a massive Democratic machine
- 27:53Speaker 1: party ground game. Republicans is like three guys, there's no
- 27:57Speaker 1: Republican party here. What do we do about that?
- 28:00Speaker 2: Well, we got to change that. We we have to.
- 28:03Speaker 2: You know, the city is divided. We have five five
- 28:06Speaker 2: our own five party chairmen and they all have their
- 28:10Speaker 2: own little fiefdoms, and the reality was we need a
- 28:13Speaker 2: strong party chairman, uh, you know, and we've got to
- 28:18Speaker 2: have changed the change the way they've done things.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah. And Jack Chitarelli, I mean this is his third
- 28:23Speaker 1: time he lost by an even bigger margins. That that's
- 28:25Speaker 1: it for him, Right, he can't run again, Kenny.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I assume though he should have been. You know, he can't.
- 28:32Speaker 2: He came close with the biggest argument they had. You know,
- 28:34Speaker 2: he came within three points last time. Well, he obviously
- 28:36Speaker 2: had his story's flown off this time. And and she
- 28:40Speaker 2: she's gonna be a tough candidate and what what are you?
- 28:44Speaker 2: What are you running? Run? That when she was in
- 28:46Speaker 2: Annapolis that she basically wouldn't turn in her fellow classmates
- 28:50Speaker 2: who cheated. That's that was his big issue. And the
- 28:54Speaker 2: fact that her husband has stock stocking business, made made
- 28:58Speaker 2: some money. Yeah. At the end of the day, she's
- 29:02Speaker 2: an effective communicator, and she's likable, and you've got to
- 29:06Speaker 2: be likable of this business. And when I saw the
- 29:09Speaker 2: favoral numbers, the polling numbers came out early, you know,
- 29:12Speaker 2: the seven eight nine point margin among favorabilities between the
- 29:17Speaker 2: Democrats and Republican candidates. I knew if you don't like somebody,
- 29:20Speaker 2: you're not going to vote for him. So you've got
- 29:22Speaker 2: to have people you like, only you don't like right now,
- 29:27Speaker 2: Mandavi they like, we'll see it along that last.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Hey, Gavin Newsome, guy who redistricting plan approved in California,
- 29:36Speaker 1: Is that going to make it easier for Republicans to
- 29:38Speaker 1: do the same thing in their states?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Now? Absolutely? Absolutely, you know he had more margin in California.
- 29:44Speaker 2: But the more telling part is the guy who was
- 29:47Speaker 2: on the verge of being recalled several times, meaning the
- 29:50Speaker 2: governor of California, he's now at the hoist of Bowery.
- 29:53Speaker 2: He had a fifty four percent of proper rating in
- 29:55Speaker 2: these polls last night. So he's become a viable candidate
- 30:01Speaker 2: beyond California, and he's certainly gonna be if he has
- 30:04Speaker 2: to be viewed as one of the front runners of
- 30:05Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. I mean, I'd love to have the
- 30:07Speaker 2: opportunity to run against him, But at the end of
- 30:09Speaker 2: the day here we can't underestimate him as a messenger.
- 30:12Speaker 2: And certainly the House Republicans gotta have a plan here
- 30:17Speaker 2: because they're going to Carr to Downy Brook, we lose
- 30:19Speaker 2: that House, and we lose him by four or five
- 30:22Speaker 2: or ten or twenties, he's gonna make all the difference
- 30:24Speaker 2: in the world. But the reality is the President's gonna
- 30:28Speaker 2: have a bad two years if that happens. So they
- 30:30Speaker 2: got to do everything in this White House against some
- 30:33Speaker 2: of this formed policy stuff and what have you, and
- 30:35Speaker 2: and be realistic. Realistic is president still has some popularity
- 30:40Speaker 2: on the base. None of the base was motivated by
- 30:44Speaker 2: him yesterday and in the election because he wasn't on
- 30:47Speaker 2: a campaign and like he traditionally would be busy, busy
- 30:51Speaker 2: guy doing lots of other things, but it wasn't doing
- 30:52Speaker 2: wasn't focused on the campaigns. And that's his people come
- 30:57Speaker 2: out when he's on the ballot. He's not gonna be
- 30:59Speaker 2: on the ballot again, so you've got to cut a somehow,
- 31:01Speaker 2: substitute something or someone for that.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Good point. Well Ed Rollins, Thanks for the wisdom, and
- 31:07Speaker 1: we'll talk again soon. Thanks for being with us, and
- 31:10Speaker 1: we'll do it again soon, all right, Take care, take care. Well,
- 31:14Speaker 1: we'll go over the mail race some more. A little later.
- 31:16Speaker 1: We'll get to New Jersey, the governor's race. We got
- 31:18Speaker 1: a lot to get to coming up. Don't forget Buck
- 31:20Speaker 1: and Play at noon today excellent show. They'll go over
- 31:24Speaker 1: what happened last night, as will Sean Hannity, who's here
- 31:28Speaker 1: at three o'clock, the most listened to radio show in America.
- 31:31Speaker 1: And then Jesse Kelly at six Jimmy Fayla excellent show
- 31:34Speaker 1: every night nine to midnight here on seven ten WR.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And Mark on Demand by setting up pre sad for
- 31:42Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 31:45Speaker 13: Now back to Mark Simone on woor.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Hey, we'll go over the mail race. We'll got a
- 31:51Speaker 1: lot of stuff to get to in the next hour
- 31:53Speaker 1: on seven ten WR. Here's more Mark Simone on seven ten. Well,
- 32:06Speaker 1: nobody feels great today. It's a rough night. You've got
- 32:09Speaker 1: Mamdani as the mayor elect. He's making some sort of
- 32:14Speaker 1: an announcement this morning. We'll wait and see what it
- 32:17Speaker 1: is he's announcing. Everybody's worried about who will quit? Will
- 32:20Speaker 1: Jessica Tish the police commissioner resign? We don't know, but
- 32:24Speaker 1: I can tell you that the fire commissioner just resigned.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Robert Tucker, who's a great guy, wonderful guy. Robert Tucker,
- 32:32Speaker 1: fire commissioner. I was Jewish. I don't know if that
- 32:34Speaker 1: has a role in his resigning from this obviously anti
- 32:40Speaker 1: Semitic mayor. Also, Tucker is a very successful guy in
- 32:45Speaker 1: the private sector. He's got a great business and company
- 32:48Speaker 1: can easily go back to that. But he has resigned.
- 32:51Speaker 1: The fire commissioner's resigned. Robert Tucker, good guy, he's been
- 32:55Speaker 1: there a year. But it's also not unusual when a
- 32:58Speaker 1: mayoralty is over her for the commissioners to start to leave.
- 33:02Speaker 1: But Tucker has left. Jessica Tiiti has had nothing so far. Cuomo.
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's an interesting case. Everybody agrees he's finished politically, that
- 33:13Speaker 1: that's it. There's no coming back from this. What does
- 33:17Speaker 1: he do now? Now, all these billionaires that jumped into
- 33:21Speaker 1: back Cuomo, you know they we love Cuomore. Back in
- 33:24Speaker 1: Cuomo again. I always warn you these big, big donors,
- 33:28Speaker 1: these big billionaires, geniuses at what they do, that's why
- 33:32Speaker 1: they're billionaires. But when it comes to politics, they don't
- 33:34Speaker 1: know what the hell they're doing. They always get it wrong.
- 33:37Speaker 1: They always back the wrong guy, and it's absolutely guaranteed
- 33:40Speaker 1: every time whoever they back loses always. Now they got
- 33:47Speaker 1: caught up in that Cuomo nonsense and he can't win,
- 33:50Speaker 1: and now, now what do they do with them? Somebody's
- 33:52Speaker 1: got to give him a job. The guy's going to
- 33:54Speaker 1: need to do something. When he left as Attorney general,
- 33:58Speaker 1: everybody figured he'll run for governor in between period. Somebody
- 34:01Speaker 1: gave him a nice, big job at a big top
- 34:03Speaker 1: financial firm, law firm, something. You know, you pay him
- 34:06Speaker 1: a few million years. So you do that, although if
- 34:09Speaker 1: the guy's finished politically, he has a lot less value
- 34:13Speaker 1: to you. But to these big billionaires, believe or not,
- 34:15Speaker 1: they're the most starstruck people in the world. And if
- 34:18Speaker 1: you got some big firm, financial firm, law firm, or where,
- 34:22Speaker 1: Cuoma's got a certain star factor to him, so they'll
- 34:26Speaker 1: give him a couple of million a year to hang
- 34:28Speaker 1: around lunch with some new clients. You bring Cuomo to
- 34:32Speaker 1: Lunchjemo was a good talker there, so somebody may give
- 34:36Speaker 1: him one of those kind of jobs. We'll see. Now, Cuomo,
- 34:42Speaker 1: where did he win? Well, he won big on the
- 34:46Speaker 1: Upper east Side. That was his main district, the Upper
- 34:49Speaker 1: east Side, that's where these billionaires all live, so he
- 34:51Speaker 1: won that. It was huge. He also won Staten Island.
- 34:55Speaker 1: That's interesting. Everybody's been telling all the Curtis voters abandoned
- 34:58Speaker 1: Curtis vote for Cuomo. Well, apparently that worked to a
- 35:01Speaker 1: certain extent, because Cuomo won Staten Island. That's big Curtis territory.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Cuomo won Staten Island. He won chunks, the little chunks
- 35:10Speaker 1: of Queens and little chunks of Brooklyn. But Mam Donnie's
- 35:14Speaker 1: base was Brooklyn, those newer, younger parts of Brooklyn, and
- 35:19Speaker 1: Mam Donni won those big And the thing about those areas,
- 35:22Speaker 1: they're heavily populated. So it's a lot of votes. Now,
- 35:25Speaker 1: once again, we can't repeat this enough. Curtis had nothing
- 35:28Speaker 1: to do with Cuomo losing. If you took every Curtis
- 35:33Speaker 1: voter and gave it to Cuomo, Cuomo still lost by
- 35:36Speaker 1: a few points. So Curtis being in the race was
- 35:38Speaker 1: not a factor with Cuomo losing. Had no choice, but
- 35:42Speaker 1: Cuomo will say it was. He'll start to say this
- 35:45Speaker 1: a lot. Remember after the primary, humiliating defeat in the primary.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Mamdanni just crushed Cuomo in the primary, and then the
- 35:53Speaker 1: Cuomo team started telling everybody, well, it was that ranked choice.
- 35:57Speaker 1: If it wasn't for the rank choice, it was because
- 35:59Speaker 1: of the rank choice. He lost the rank. Choyce had
- 36:02Speaker 1: nothing to do with it. He lost the popular vote
- 36:04Speaker 1: on the first round. The second, Cuomo lost the popular
- 36:08Speaker 1: vote by a lot. Rank choice wasn't a factor. But
- 36:11Speaker 1: they'll start to do that now. They'll tell the Cuomo
- 36:14Speaker 1: people will be telling everybody, Yeah, if Curtis hadn't been
- 36:16Speaker 1: in the right, he was so close. If it wasn't
- 36:18Speaker 1: for Curtis, Well again that's not true. You could add
- 36:21Speaker 1: every Curtis voter in with Cuomo and he's still lost
- 36:25Speaker 1: by a few points. Curtis was not a factor. The
- 36:30Speaker 1: Soros is George Soros, Alex Soros, very very very happy today.
- 36:36Speaker 1: There's Alex Soros, the big Mom Donnie backer. He's these
- 36:41Speaker 1: soros Is. These are the guys that gave us Alvin
- 36:43Speaker 1: Bragg and now Mom Donnie. And the word is they
- 36:46Speaker 1: got about twenty six more. Mom Donnie's ready to go
- 36:49Speaker 1: in other cities. But there's the Twitter as Alex Soros
- 36:53Speaker 1: arm in arm posing with Mom Donnie, thrilled about it.
- 36:57Speaker 1: So I'm trying to read my own writing here. What
- 37:02Speaker 1: can be done to stop Mom Donnie. Well, all that's
- 37:05Speaker 1: out there is the Department of Justice. Well there's a
- 37:12Speaker 1: couple of teams that have been looking at Mom Donnie's money,
- 37:15Speaker 1: the foreign donations. They think a lot of money came
- 37:18Speaker 1: from China, a lot of money came to the Middle East,
- 37:21Speaker 1: a lot of money came from overseas, and they're tracing it.
- 37:25Speaker 1: If they can find Mom Donnie took it, used it,
- 37:27Speaker 1: and had some knowledge of it, they can remove him
- 37:30Speaker 1: and he'll never be mayor. Now they've been working on it.
- 37:33Speaker 1: There's a few teams and they've been sending stuff over
- 37:36Speaker 1: to the Justice Department. Now every time we talk to
- 37:39Speaker 1: these guys on these teams that say, well, we were
- 37:41Speaker 1: almost just about we justified, We're almost but I've been
- 37:44Speaker 1: hearing that for a months. So far they haven't gotten it.
- 37:47Speaker 1: The other thing is there are actual Justice Department officials
- 37:51Speaker 1: who have said they're going to watch mom Donnie's every move.
- 37:54Speaker 1: If he does anything against the Jewish community, anything anti Semitic,
- 37:57Speaker 1: any that they want to, they say they'll come in
- 38:00Speaker 1: and arrest him for a hate crime. So we'll see
- 38:04Speaker 1: that's the kind of stuff that's out there to stop
- 38:06Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. The bad news is that, well, there's nothing
- 38:09Speaker 1: but bad news. The other bad news is the city
- 38:12Speaker 1: council did not change. Most of the Democrats got re elected,
- 38:16Speaker 1: so you still got a kooky left wing city council.
- 38:20Speaker 1: It pretty much stayed the same as far as mostly
- 38:23Speaker 1: democratic Alvin Bragg got re elected. Unfortunately, now, you know,
- 38:32Speaker 1: we go back and look at the mayors of New York.
- 38:34Speaker 1: They were pretty qualified guys. Rudy Giuliani was a big,
- 38:38Speaker 1: big crime fighter. He'd been the US attorney for years.
- 38:41Speaker 1: He'd been number two in the Justice Department for years.
- 38:44Speaker 1: He had quite a resume when he took office. And
- 38:47Speaker 1: then Michael Bloomberg came along, and he had a huge resume.
- 38:50Speaker 1: In the business world, billionaire built one of the biggest
- 38:53Speaker 1: companies in the world. Obviously a manager. But the last
- 38:57Speaker 1: three guys to be elected, the last three De Blasio,
- 39:02Speaker 1: Eric Adams, and this guy Mom Donnie, no resume, no
- 39:06Speaker 1: management experience, no qualifications other than they were just kind
- 39:10Speaker 1: of charming salespeople. The Blasio, yeah, you had a certain
- 39:14Speaker 1: charm to him and the TV commercials. You had a
- 39:17Speaker 1: nice smile and a certain charm. Eric Adams a good
- 39:19Speaker 1: looking guy, a lot of charm. This guy in his
- 39:22Speaker 1: own way charming, a slick salesman, but with no resume
- 39:26Speaker 1: and no management experience. So it's a very very weird trend.
- 39:30Speaker 1: We've started here now the New York Times, big article
- 39:35Speaker 1: now in the New York Times about Democrats have a
- 39:37Speaker 1: new leader. There's a new leader of the Democratic Party.
- 39:41Speaker 1: They're talking about Mom Donnie. Now you also figure there's
- 39:45Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of angry people in the Democratic Party,
- 39:48Speaker 1: like AOC. You know, she was supposed to be the
- 39:53Speaker 1: left wing leader, the kook woke socialist, left wing leader
- 39:57Speaker 1: of the party. Well, now this guy's replaced her in
- 39:59Speaker 1: this This guy can really outtalk her. So you're going
- 40:03Speaker 1: to see a little bit of it. You're going to
- 40:05Speaker 1: see the war between the old Democrats, the old Chuck
- 40:08Speaker 1: Schumer fossils, the old dinosaurs, and this new young breed.
- 40:11Speaker 1: But within the young group, you're going to see a
- 40:12Speaker 1: fight between AOC and Mom Donnie. Is that the first Lady?
- 40:17Speaker 1: I think so, yeah, Mom Donnie doing a little appearance now.
- 40:22Speaker 1: And that's the other thing. The first Lady, the new
- 40:25Speaker 1: first Lady, the new first Lady, missus. Mom Donnie stayed
- 40:30Speaker 1: under the radar the whole campaign, although apparently behind the
- 40:33Speaker 1: scenes she was a mastermind at the strategy of the campaign,
- 40:38Speaker 1: the branding of the campaign. She and the mother of
- 40:42Speaker 1: Mom Donnie. Remember the mother is a big filmmaker, big
- 40:45Speaker 1: movie maker, so she knows a lot of theatrical tricks.
- 40:50Speaker 1: So between the wife and the mother, they helped with
- 40:52Speaker 1: the branding, the messaging, the strategy of the campaign, putting
- 40:56Speaker 1: that all together. But we know very little about this
- 40:59Speaker 1: first lady, Mom Donnie met her on Hinge, the dating
- 41:03Speaker 1: app Hinge. You know, you got all these different dating apps.
- 41:06Speaker 1: There is plenty of fish, there's this one, that one,
- 41:10Speaker 1: there's match dot com. But the high end ones, the
- 41:13Speaker 1: high end dating apps are like a Hinge and a
- 41:17Speaker 1: few others. So that's where Mom Donnie met his wife.
- 41:19Speaker 1: But again, that's perfectly normal. Nowadays everybody is going to
- 41:24Speaker 1: at some point everybody will have met their wife that way. Hey,
- 41:29Speaker 1: we'll get back to the mirural race. But but let's
- 41:32Speaker 1: just go to Jacksmith for a moment. This weird bug eyed,
- 41:37Speaker 1: cape wearing weirdo prosecutor Jack Smith may have some real
- 41:41Speaker 1: trouble now. It looks like besides the terrible investigation in
- 41:46Speaker 1: the Trump and it was ridiculously overdone. You know, you
- 41:49Speaker 1: saw the pictures, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of boxes
- 41:52Speaker 1: at Marlago. Well, those were just presidential records. None of
- 41:55Speaker 1: those were classified documents. And that was later proven when
- 41:58Speaker 1: Jack Smith only found in the entire building thirty five
- 42:02Speaker 1: classified documents. If you put the thirty five in a folder,
- 42:06Speaker 1: it's about one inch thick, so one inch of one
- 42:09Speaker 1: box classified documents. All those boxes you saw were not
- 42:13Speaker 1: classified documents. And then Smith did a couple of horrible
- 42:16Speaker 1: things if you're going to raid mar A Lago. First
- 42:18Speaker 1: of all, that was a horrible decision to raid a
- 42:21Speaker 1: president's home, but he did it. But even worse, they
- 42:25Speaker 1: went through everything. They went through the kid's bedroom, Malania's stuff,
- 42:29Speaker 1: They went through Malania's underwear drawers, just like Polly Walnuts
- 42:33Speaker 1: and the Sopranos. And Smith actually got permission to use
- 42:40Speaker 1: deadly force in mar A Lago. He actually got permission
- 42:43Speaker 1: from Remember we had the dirtiest Attorney General ever, Merrick Garland,
- 42:47Speaker 1: who granted that permission to use deadly force in mar
- 42:52Speaker 1: A Lago. In other words, they could come in with
- 42:54Speaker 1: guns drawn and fire their guns if they needed to.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Now Trump was not at marlaw Ago. He was in
- 43:02Speaker 1: New York. I think at the time, and at mar
- 43:05Speaker 1: A Lago was just the staff, the butler, the maids.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Why would you need to use deadly force? Now there's
- 43:10Speaker 1: also members there, but have you ever seen those members?
- 43:13Speaker 1: It's little old ladies going, how are you? You don't
- 43:16Speaker 1: need deadly force? It was just insane. Now it turns
- 43:20Speaker 1: out Jack Smith also sees the phone records emails of
- 43:26Speaker 1: dozens and dozens and dozens of people in Congress, did
- 43:28Speaker 1: surveillance on them. And then yesterday we find out Jack
- 43:32Speaker 1: Smith got President Trump's cell phone from the first term.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You know, when you're the president, Trump has its own
- 43:42Speaker 1: cell phone, but when you're president, they give you an
- 43:44Speaker 1: official presidential cell phone to use. It's different from It
- 43:48Speaker 1: looks like a regular cell phone, but it's tricked out
- 43:51Speaker 1: with all sorts of privacy features and scramblers and all
- 43:55Speaker 1: kinds of things to keep your communication private. And then
- 43:59Speaker 1: when you leave the present, I guess it goes back
- 44:02Speaker 1: to the government. But Jack Smith got permission to take it,
- 44:05Speaker 1: and the dirty law Air Biden administration handed it over,
- 44:10Speaker 1: so Jack Smith was able to go through it and
- 44:12Speaker 1: see all of Trump's calls, texts everything. By the way,
- 44:16Speaker 1: he's using his own cell phone Now he's got that
- 44:18Speaker 1: presidential cell phone, but most of the time, if he
- 44:21Speaker 1: calls you, it's on the personal cell phone. Now I
- 44:23Speaker 1: know why, because he doesn't trust the next administration of
- 44:26Speaker 1: safeguard his presidential cell phone. But Jack Smith, I mean,
- 44:30Speaker 1: this is out and out wiretapping of the president. Jack
- 44:34Speaker 1: Smith had no reason to do that, no reason to
- 44:37Speaker 1: do that. He's in real trouble. Now they're going to
- 44:39Speaker 1: really come after him for this. Now Jack Smith is
- 44:42Speaker 1: telling his friends that he welcomes this, that he can't
- 44:47Speaker 1: wait to defend himself and he wants to counter attack.
- 44:51Speaker 1: He said he can't wait to get into a courtroom
- 44:54Speaker 1: and explain himself. He said he had a hell of
- 44:56Speaker 1: a case against Trump, but judges kept denying him a
- 45:01Speaker 1: chance to present his evidence in court. He said, now
- 45:04Speaker 1: he has tons of evidence that he can present in course.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I don't know what he's talking about, and he'll never
- 45:12Speaker 1: be able to explain this. Trump had a handful of
- 45:15Speaker 1: classified documents. There weren't anything earth shattering. Joe Biden had
- 45:19Speaker 1: eight thousand classified documents. He had him in his house,
- 45:22Speaker 1: he had him in his office, he had him in
- 45:24Speaker 1: his office at the University of Delaware, Pennsylvania. He'll never
- 45:30Speaker 1: be able to explain this, but Jack Smith looked for
- 45:33Speaker 1: him to really really have a problem at some point. Hey,
- 45:36Speaker 1: we'll take some calls. Next, we'll get back to the
- 45:38Speaker 1: mayoral race. We'll get to the governor's race. Mikey Cheryl
- 45:43Speaker 1: is your new governor.
- 45:45Speaker 15: And I just got a call from Jack Chittarelli, and
- 45:48Speaker 15: I want to recognize him for stepping up.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Okay, she wants to recognize him.
- 45:53Speaker 15: Serving you is worth any tough fight I have to
- 45:57Speaker 15: take on, and I am incredibly honored to be.
- 45:59Speaker 16: Your next governor.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Does she sound like a godment here?
- 46:03Speaker 15: Does she really sound like a Serving you is worth
- 46:07Speaker 15: any tough fight I have to take on, and I
- 46:10Speaker 15: am incredibly honored to be your next time.
- 46:12Speaker 1: All Right, it's a it's unusual from New Jersey to
- 46:15Speaker 1: go with one party for three terms. Usually a two
- 46:18Speaker 1: terms of one party they switch and that's always been
- 46:20Speaker 1: the case for many decades. First time in decades that
- 46:24Speaker 1: they've gone three terms with one party, but it happened. Anyway,
- 46:27Speaker 1: we'll get back to the mural race. We'll take some
- 46:28Speaker 1: calls next. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 46:33Speaker 1: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 46:36Speaker 1: seven ten.
- 46:38Speaker 6: He knows his way around all this. It's the Marximunge
- 46:42Speaker 6: Show on seven ten.
- 46:44Speaker 15: War.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Hey, let's text the calls. You know, we got a
- 46:48Speaker 1: lot of listeners around the country. I think they're all
- 46:50Speaker 1: laughing at us. Let's text. Let's just text some calls
- 46:52Speaker 1: from around the country so you have people to say.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Let's go to Stuart, South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing, Hey?
- 46:58Speaker 9: How you doing?
- 46:59Speaker 17: You're right.
- 46:59Speaker 18: The rest of the country is just in shock.
- 47:01Speaker 8: We're looking in New York the thing that I cannot believe.
- 47:04Speaker 18: And you know, I've been a police officer almost fifty years.
- 47:07Speaker 18: I cannot, for the life of me, Mark believe they
- 47:10Speaker 18: re elected Alvin Bragg, who is responsible for so much
- 47:15Speaker 18: devastation among the populace of New York City.
- 47:18Speaker 10: It is incredulous they would put.
- 47:20Speaker 2: That man back in office.
- 47:22Speaker 18: And ma'am Donnie together are going to be the seventh
- 47:26Speaker 18: circle of Hell.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Thanks for the encouragement. All right, thanks for calling Stuart.
- 47:32Speaker 1: All around the country they're laughing. U. Let's go to
- 47:34Speaker 1: Aaron in Indianapolis. Aaron, how you doing doing? Great?
- 47:39Speaker 11: Mark?
- 47:40Speaker 12: Hey?
- 47:40Speaker 11: The Minnesota Twins and be to change their name to
- 47:43Speaker 11: the Minnesota.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Somalis all right, whatever that means. That's it. That's that's it,
- 47:50Speaker 1: that's the whole call. That's all right. Thanks for slowing
- 47:53Speaker 1: us up here. Let's go to rich in Myrtle Beach.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Rich How you doing hey?
- 47:58Speaker 8: Thanks Mark.
- 47:58Speaker 11: The thousands I mean thousands of New York style bakeries
- 48:03Speaker 11: and deli's opening up in Florida right now as we speak.
- 48:06Speaker 11: You know, Madammie's going to be the realtor of the year,
- 48:09Speaker 11: but I can't believe it. My knucklehead brother who lives
- 48:11Speaker 11: down here now is a raging liberal. He's and he's
- 48:14Speaker 11: trying to explain to me it was better to have
- 48:16Speaker 11: Mondami than Cuomo for New York, which just too proves
- 48:20Speaker 11: to me my brother is a communist.
- 48:21Speaker 1: You know, I didn't realize he's not entirely wrung. You
- 48:24Speaker 1: remember Cuomo when he was governor with the most left
- 48:27Speaker 1: wing kook. He caused the crime wave. He took away bail,
- 48:31Speaker 1: he'd closed like Stewart was.
- 48:32Speaker 11: Saying, it was really Cuomo with the no cash, no
- 48:35Speaker 11: bail that really brought in Alvin Brick.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Led to the other.
- 48:39Speaker 1: He also closed prisons, he changed the parole board, to
- 48:42Speaker 1: let all the killers out.
- 48:43Speaker 11: He was, Yeah, so it really is unbelievable. I really
- 48:47Speaker 11: couldn't believe it. I really can't even all my friends
- 48:49Speaker 11: are going to put the half. I got a fund
- 48:51Speaker 11: of mine lives in Riverdale, in the Bronx. He's putting
- 48:53Speaker 11: us up his house up to sail and leave them
- 48:56Speaker 11: all right.
- 48:56Speaker 1: I know everybody says they'll leave and we'll see. We'll
- 48:58Speaker 1: see who actually leaves. You know, Cuomo was the most
- 49:02Speaker 1: left wing. He was as far left as a governor.
- 49:04Speaker 1: Of the things he did as Mam Donnie, he should
- 49:05Speaker 1: have campaigned as himself. That's if he had campaigned as
- 49:09Speaker 1: that the truth, he would have split up the Mom
- 49:13Speaker 1: Donnie vote. He probably could have beaten him that way.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Let's go to uh Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 49:18Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 49:20Speaker 17: Good morning, Mark. Speaking of Florida, our Attorney General has
- 49:24Speaker 17: made it very clear here in the state of Florida,
- 49:26Speaker 17: we welcome people from New York with open hands, open arts,
- 49:30Speaker 17: but make certainly understand that crime here is something that's
- 49:34Speaker 17: taken seriously. Also, I heard this morning that Dunman the
- 49:37Speaker 17: Abbott tell people that they leave New York and they
- 49:40Speaker 17: comp to Texas. He's imposing a tariff on them. Yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 17: huge amount of building going on here in Florida. They're
- 49:47Speaker 17: building new office space, homes. It's a tremendous building boom
- 49:52Speaker 17: here statewide. So if you're in New York and you're
- 49:54Speaker 17: coming to Florida, you will have some place to live.
- 49:57Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right, listen, you'll I'll be
- 50:00Speaker 1: back every one of you. You'll be back in New
- 50:02Speaker 1: York at some point. So the good news is Mom
- 50:05Speaker 1: Donnie's holding a press conference this morning. Apparently he's reassuring
- 50:10Speaker 1: Jewish voters. He's reassuring business leaders that he'll be able
- 50:14Speaker 1: to work with them, and we'll see. You know, they
- 50:17Speaker 1: got this stupid organizations called the Partnership in there. It's
- 50:20Speaker 1: it'szech every CEO in New York and this crazy woman
- 50:23Speaker 1: that runs it, and they've had meetings with Mom Donnie.
- 50:28Speaker 1: And the fact that he would show up and meet
- 50:29Speaker 1: with them, it's a good sign. And you never know,
- 50:33Speaker 1: you know, Deblasio was the mister socialist, mister left wing,
- 50:36Speaker 1: you know, tax the rich. But when Deblasia took office,
- 50:41Speaker 1: all of a sudden, he became very chummy with these
- 50:43Speaker 1: billionaires and CEOs. He gave every one of them, here's
- 50:46Speaker 1: my cell number. Call me you need anything. And you
- 50:48Speaker 1: needed anything, you could get it from them. That's the
- 50:50Speaker 1: way a lot of these socialists work. And they made
- 50:53Speaker 1: sure that he got reelected because they liked the relationships.
- 50:56Speaker 1: So you never know, Mom, Donnie might actually work all
- 51:00Speaker 1: with these business because you never know. You never know.
- 51:02Speaker 1: And me such a phony and such a con man,
- 51:04Speaker 1: who knows which way he'll really go. Let's go to
- 51:07Speaker 1: Anna in New Jersey. Anna, how you doing, Yes.
- 51:11Speaker 19: Good morning, thank you for taking my call.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Mark.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Yes, Anna, I'm never.
- 51:14Speaker 19: In the air, but I am going to burst if
- 51:16Speaker 19: I don't say something to New York Is. I grew
- 51:19Speaker 19: up in that city. I'm a Cuban American. I can
- 51:22Speaker 19: hear as a child, and in a couple of days,
- 51:24Speaker 19: I'm going to be seventy and my heart I was
- 51:27Speaker 19: crying last night. That's what happened in New York because
- 51:30Speaker 19: you know what it's like Havana in nineteen fifty nine
- 51:33Speaker 19: for my parents.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Anything else, I know, you know what, escape the socialism
- 51:38Speaker 1: and this guy brings it back.
- 51:40Speaker 19: They promise everything and it's only a lie they can deliver.
- 51:45Speaker 19: What are they going to get the money to pay
- 51:47Speaker 19: for things.
- 51:48Speaker 1: You know, well, Anna, stay strong, just listen to us
- 51:50Speaker 1: every day. We got you through the pandemic. We'll get
- 51:53Speaker 1: you through Mom. Donnie, you're sounding a nice person. Anna,
- 51:55Speaker 1: Thanks for Colin. Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent,
- 51:58Speaker 1: how you doing good money?
- 52:00Speaker 7: Mark, I'm okay to stew it from South Carolina's question
- 52:04Speaker 7: about Manhattan re electing alvim Bragg. That's like the chickens
- 52:08Speaker 7: voting for Colonel Sanders. My Palmo wontn island. Because if
- 52:15Speaker 7: it was going to be a toss up between Curtis
- 52:17Speaker 7: Leewa and Andrew Cuomo, the Italian Americans once major people,
- 52:23Speaker 7: once Trump came out and said you got to vote
- 52:25Speaker 7: for Cuomo, it was an obra. It was practically a
- 52:29Speaker 7: no brainer. That being said, now that the election behind
- 52:33Speaker 7: is behind us, and the next election is the big
- 52:35Speaker 7: one in twenty twenty six, Trump has to stop this
- 52:40Speaker 7: congestion pricing and has to stop the windmills. We have
- 52:46Speaker 7: to get we have to get a couple of points
- 52:49Speaker 7: on the scoreboard. Because thus far, Oh, I'll do you
- 52:53Speaker 7: thirty days. I'll give you sixty days. I'm of the
- 52:57Speaker 7: school of you let your opponents have to take you
- 53:01Speaker 7: to cre Vincent.
- 53:03Speaker 1: We're worried about this man, Donnie, letting every criminal out
- 53:05Speaker 1: of you. We're not worried.
- 53:06Speaker 7: That's I'm not worried.
- 53:07Speaker 1: He cares about a windmill. I'm worried about these criminals.
- 53:10Speaker 7: Mark. I'm not worried about the criminals. I told my
- 53:13Speaker 7: girlfriend last night, go over. You knew your gun license.
- 53:16Speaker 7: I'm not worried about the criminals. And that's the truth.
- 53:19Speaker 1: Mark, that's because you're Vincent.
- 53:22Speaker 7: I mean, but now, but we got to have it
- 53:25Speaker 7: on the scoreboard. No more did And when I hear that, oh,
- 53:30Speaker 7: I'm giving you thirty days. You do that with a businessman,
- 53:34Speaker 7: You don't do that with with these officials, these petty
- 53:38Speaker 7: tyrants like Kathy Hulk, Eric Adams and now Zoromandani. This
- 53:44Speaker 7: thirty day stuff has to stop, all right, as.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Usual as usual. You're right, Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. Hey.
- 53:50Speaker 1: When we come back and Culter will be with us,
- 53:53Speaker 1: Let's see what she thinks about mom Donnie winning. We'll
- 53:55Speaker 1: get to that next on seven to ten. Wrk them
- 53:59Speaker 1: all on seventen woor Well and Culture. The best selling

- 54:15Speaker 1: Just go to and culture dot substack dot com and culture.
- 54:19Speaker 1: How you doing.
- 54:21Speaker 13: Fun? Then?
- 54:22Speaker 19: So, how are you?
- 54:22Speaker 8: Mark Simone?
- 54:25Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know what the hell happened
- 54:28Speaker 1: last night?
- 54:31Speaker 8: Well, I've been warning all of you forever. Actually, I
- 54:34Speaker 8: hope you appreciate my amazing restraint and not attacking Cuomo
- 54:39Speaker 8: at least not as much as usual for the last
- 54:42Speaker 8: few weeks. No, he was a sure loser. There are
- 54:44Speaker 8: a million reasons to hate Cuomo. I still, you can't
- 54:47Speaker 8: run the experiment twice And it was the foreign born
- 54:51Speaker 8: and women that apparently took the Communis musslm over the top.
- 54:54Speaker 2: They were very excited about.
- 54:56Speaker 8: Them and ha ha ha, and now they'll have to
- 54:57Speaker 8: live with him. But everybody's have just gotten behind. Adams
- 55:01Speaker 8: immediately told force Sliwa and Cuomo to drop out, because
- 55:05Speaker 8: that just makes it a clearer choice. What you can
- 55:09Speaker 8: keep what you have now, which you may not like,
- 55:11Speaker 8: or some get something much much worse. But when you have,
- 55:16Speaker 8: I mean, I guess the New York Posts on an
- 55:18Speaker 8: article of somebody had an article some woman writing Cuomo
- 55:22Speaker 8: killed my husband. I still voted for him, when when
- 55:25Speaker 8: that's what it's coming down to. I mean, I salute
- 55:28Speaker 8: that poor woman trying to keep Dommy out. But they're
- 55:32Speaker 8: just there are just too many reasons I hate Andrew Cuomo.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well, the problem is going into the primary, he
- 55:38Speaker 1: scared Adams out with his big name recognition is billions
- 55:41Speaker 1: of billionaires donor money in it. So Adams didn't enter
- 55:44Speaker 1: the Democratic primary and he might have done better against
- 55:47Speaker 1: Mom Donny in those debates. Cuoma was a disaster.
- 55:51Speaker 8: Yes, yes, and he also represents everything Mom Dommy voters
- 55:58Speaker 8: are against the old school establishment and Democratic Party, which
- 56:04Speaker 8: I don't know they voted for that too. But and
- 56:07Speaker 8: worst of all, to get to have the billionaires getting
- 56:10Speaker 8: behind him as.
- 56:10Speaker 2: The best choice.
- 56:11Speaker 8: I mean, it just shows you the point you and
- 56:14Speaker 8: I have made many times. Rich people are just such
- 56:17Speaker 8: morons about politics.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the kiss of death. Whenever the big donors,
- 56:22Speaker 1: the big billionaires are behind somebody, it's a guaranteed loss.
- 56:25Speaker 1: You could shout it out one hundred percent of the time.
- 56:28Speaker 8: So yes, And speaking of the Virginia governors. Right, yes,
- 56:33Speaker 8: that Winsome Sears. What's the full name win some Earl Sears,
- 56:39Speaker 8: Earl Sears.
- 56:40Speaker 2: That's it.
- 56:40Speaker 8: Yeah, for one thing, it's too long and am too
- 56:42Speaker 8: complicated you on something simple.
- 56:44Speaker 13: Like Pump.
- 56:46Speaker 8: Two years ago when she was three years ago, four
- 56:50Speaker 8: years ago she was elected lieutenant governor. That was catt
- 56:55Speaker 8: for Republican donors. Oh my gosh, we have a woman
- 56:58Speaker 8: and a person of and it's a Republican. We must
- 57:02Speaker 8: run this person for president. Whereas, as I keep pointing out,
- 57:05Speaker 8: probably because.
- 57:06Speaker 6: Of this.
- 57:08Speaker 8: Rocket fuel that black Republicans get in order to win
- 57:12Speaker 8: the nomination when they might not have given given other
- 57:16Speaker 8: other demographics, Black Republicans have a long history of lots
- 57:21Speaker 8: of enthusiasm and then losing.
- 57:25Speaker 1: So these big, big donors, so they always you're right.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Like with Colma, they said, well, he's got the experience,
- 57:30Speaker 1: but it was a very bad experience, and.
- 57:33Speaker 8: Dom nailed him on that in the second debate. He
- 57:37Speaker 8: was bragging about his experience, and that's exactly what Mom
- 57:41Speaker 8: Donnie came back with, Yeah, it's the worst kind of experience.
- 57:44Speaker 8: You did this, this and this, and I mean, I
- 57:47Speaker 8: think the biggest one is he well two of them.
- 57:51Speaker 8: As we have discussed, he is one of one of
- 57:54Speaker 8: the New York politicians most responsible, and he was governor
- 57:58Speaker 8: for the cashless veil law when when Democrats were about
- 58:02Speaker 8: to get control of both houses of the legislature. I
- 58:05Speaker 8: think this was, what was it like twenty seventeen to eighteen.
- 58:09Speaker 8: I mean it's fairly recently. He vowed on the campaign trail.
- 58:13Speaker 8: It was when he was running for his third term,
- 58:15Speaker 8: so whenever that was, he vowed on the campaign trail
- 58:17Speaker 8: that the first bill he would sign would be cashless veil,
- 58:22Speaker 8: and that, of course has has ripped the city apart
- 58:25Speaker 8: with with criminals running while looting, killing, stabbing, raping, and
- 58:31Speaker 8: of course the COVID shutdowns when he was just an
- 58:34Speaker 8: absolute authoritarian, and we now know every one of his
- 58:37Speaker 8: measures was a disaster. He destroyed kids' lives, destroyed endless businesses,
- 58:44Speaker 8: kept attacking states that were doing it right, like Florida
- 58:48Speaker 8: and florcing Floridians when they flew in, Oh my gosh,
- 58:53Speaker 8: you've got to be quarantined. You know, we're coming from
- 58:56Speaker 8: a leper's colony. And of course Florida did far better
- 58:59Speaker 8: than than New York did. On COVID without destroying any
- 59:03Speaker 8: businesses and allowing the citizens to live free.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you know the problem that there's no we don't
- 59:10Speaker 1: have a Republican party in New York. Democratic Party is
- 59:12Speaker 1: a huge machine with infrastructure, lots of people. There's nothing, No,
- 59:17Speaker 1: how do we ever fix that?
- 59:20Speaker 8: Well, it's very hard. I noticed this years ago, and
- 59:23Speaker 8: I don't know, maybe New York, but also California. I've met,
- 59:26Speaker 8: I've met at the Metropolitan Republican Club or I sometimes
- 59:30Speaker 8: do speeches and book signs on the Upper East Side.
- 59:33Speaker 8: Sometimes you'd meet, you know, a candidate running for this
- 59:37Speaker 8: or that office as a Republican and I always kind
- 59:41Speaker 8: of laugh and say, why why are you doing this?
- 59:44Speaker 8: You have no chance of me. But this is where
- 59:48Speaker 8: I don't know. I think we need to kidnap the
- 59:52Speaker 8: New York's billionaires, tie them up and force them to
- 59:56Speaker 8: do what we say, which is to find someone who
- 59:59Speaker 8: can run as an independent. What did Bloomberg run asks
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: first time both both a Republican and an independent.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but you got to remember it was right after
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: nine to eleven. Rudy Giuliani was the greatest hero in America,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and he campaigned for Bloomberg. That's what put Bloomberg over
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: the top.
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: Yes, and also the city what got Giuliani elected. I mean,
- 1:00:18Speaker 8: this city has had twenty years of Republican rule until
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: Democrats came in and started slowly, just not slowly, actually
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: quite rapidly dismantling it. And Juliani got in after after
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: New York City became became Charles Bronson's death wish. So
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: I mean, I guess this is semi good news for Republicans.
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: Not New Yorkers, but Republicans. Okay, let's see what the
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: communist Muslim does. He'll have a record by the time
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: midterms roll around next year.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Now, if you watch his victory speech, the smiling salesman
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: all of a sudden had a really angry tone to him.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Is that the indication that he's going to be a
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: lot worse than we think.
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: I assume a lot of people have commented on that.
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: I especially liked his very first sentence, fighting socialist Eugene
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: dem Oh, that that's got a big cheer from the audience.
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: Oh my gosh, we've got to take away women's right
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: to vote. I think he's he's experienced the blowback, and
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: he will go back to being the smiling Mom Donnie
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: now because that You're absolutely right, that was quite jarring.
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: And boy, that's not bringing us together.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: No, and now would you agree with our other guests.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: This is it.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: We're done with Andrew Cuomo. We don't have to worry
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: about him running for anything again.
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: Speaking of the unkind things, the snottiness of Mom Donny's
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: victory siege, one of the first things he said was,
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: I hope I'll never have to say we've destroyed a
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: political legacy. I hope I will never have to say
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: the word Cuomo again. I mean, I happen to agree
- 1:02:02Speaker 8: with that. I don't think i'd say that in a
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: magnanimous victory speech. You're supposed to be saying, and you know,
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: I congratulations to the other side. He ran a tough campaign.
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: They always act as if I might add here because
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: I've heard people commenting on Mom dammies snippy victory speech.
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: They always say, oh, well, this comes from Trump.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: What do you expect it's Trump?
- 1:02:24Speaker 19: Oh my gosh.
- 1:02:25Speaker 16: Trump is exactly the opposite.
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: He is totally magnanimous.
- 1:02:30Speaker 16: Yeah, he likes to joke around. He's a professional wrestler.
- 1:02:34Speaker 16: Everybody left we have a good time, his victory speeches
- 1:02:39Speaker 16: are and you recall he was reaching out like mad
- 1:02:42Speaker 16: to the Democrats, to the New York Times his first term,
- 1:02:45Speaker 16: and you know they responded by impeaching him twice.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Yeah, well we got through to Blasio, we got through
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the pandemic. We'll get through this, right, okay, yes, okay.
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: Yes, it is New York City. And also, as usual,
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: as we've talked about, whenever these socialists claiming they're doing
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: something for the poor, the rich benefit the most. So
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: I think we're gonna be fine.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Mark, that's a good point. Excellent. Let's end on that
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: happy note. Everybody follow and Culture on Twitter, also substacks.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: He's got a lot of stuff on substack. You can
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: sign up there and culture dot substack dot com and culter.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Thanks for being with us.
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: Good to talk to you, Marks and bla blah, All right.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Take care. Yeah, we get we'll get through this. We'll
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: get you through it every day. Now. Don't forget Jimmy
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Fayala tonight at nine, excellent show. We got Jesse Kelly
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: at six, you got three o'clock, you got the most
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity, and coming
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: up next, right after this show, right after the news
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: at noon is Buck and Clay. That's I can't wait
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: to hear what they have to say about last night.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: That's coming up at noon today on seven to ten,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: wo R give wo R brief said on the iHeart
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Radio app to hear.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: Marx Simone and all the WOOR hosts in an instance.
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: Now back to the Marximo show on WOOR.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Well, nobody's feeling great today. It was quite a night
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: last night. But we'll get through this. We got through
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: eight years of the Blasio. We can get through one
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: year of this guy. It'll be one year probably, this
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: will be the end of Kathy Hochel. A year from
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: now she'll get as you'll be out. You'll probably get
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: somebody like Bruce Blakeman or at least Stephonic and then
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: that governor will have the power to remove the mayor. Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: so figure a year of this and who knows. The
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: fire commissioner quit earlier this morning, Robert Tucker, great guy.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: No word yet on the police commissioner, but we'll see.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: But we'll get you through it. We'll be here every day.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: We'll just like the pandemic. We'll all stick together and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: get through this in one piece. East. Cuomo was, as predicted,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: a total disaster, and once again it had nothing to
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: do with Curtis Lee. Well, you could give Cuomo every
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: voter Curtis had and he still was a few points short.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And Cuoma was just an old, tired, old politician. He
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: was totally out of shape politically. Remember the first few
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: months of the campaign. He did nothing, didn't speak, no rallies,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: barely did an interview, sounded slow and tired. He got
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: himself together in the last two weeks, but way way
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: too late. So anyway, stick with us every day. We'll
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: get you. If we got to the pandemic together, we'll
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: get through this together. And now don't go away. Buck
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and Clay are coming up next with an excellent show.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I'm waiting to hear what they have to say about
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: last night, so I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'll talk to you then on seven to ten. WR
