- 0:01Macbeth at one scene seven. Look it up. I shall come on Wikipedia,
- 0:14load you unwieldy behemoth. Oh dear, sorry, Joe Bob Hoist on
- 0:22his own bitid it hoist with his own retid Oh get a life. Four
- 0:29finger discount, dude, welcome to fourthing a discount? Where this we hit
- 0:49the review episode eight of season nineteen. It is a Fraser reunion, which
- 0:53is actually pretty cool union because it was the first reunion post the shows finale.
- 0:57It is funeral for a fiend. I am Dando and I am gud
- 1:00now viewers of the viewers, listeners. Yeah, well, we've got this
- 1:06on video as well. You may see us rubbing our hands together. Now,
- 1:10often this is indication of glee. We're in it for something great,
- 1:12or is it that it's really cold? We got to keep one another.
- 1:18I'm in a T shirt, guys in a jumper. Private media. That's
- 1:21who you work for, right, That is one of my many employ are
- 1:23getting sponsored money on the side. Oh, we're not doing video content.
- 1:29I'll wear private media. Pe RaSE, please, I am not that business
- 1:34savvy. I am He's really not. He's actually not. I am curse
- 1:38you magic beans. That's what I'm getting paid for by from Dando and corporate.
- 1:44No, this happens to be the warmest hoodie that I own, and
- 1:48it's the most comfortable. We all have that one comfortable hoodie that even when
- 1:51it's dirty, you'll still put it on, as opposed to ones that are
- 1:53clean and fresh. It might be. Yeah, I mean, I've got
- 1:56other hoodies that are a little more stylish. Yeah, one might say a
- 1:59little more or less bland. I mean, I'm a big fan. Just
- 2:02the gray hoodie looks very nice, I think, but I'm very disappointed that
- 2:07it's not Country Road. I'm not gonna lie. I know, well,
- 2:10I do have other items that I took a possession of the shirt. Isn't
- 2:15they country? Right? I know? We gotta keep myself looking flat?
- 2:20How is that not their theme? I imagine they've tried, Sure have to
- 2:23have tried. And the estate of the late great John Denver just said,
- 2:28what money please? Will they use it at the AFL games for the Brisbane
- 2:31Lines. So the Brisbane Lines every time they kick a goal, the player
- 2:36they select a song for the season that plays over the speakers every time they
- 2:38kick a goal. And Charlie Cameron for the Brisbane Lines has chosen Country Roads.
- 2:42Whenever he kicks a goal here the whole crowd breaks out in the song.
- 2:45I think that Country Road, the clothing label has a high opinion of
- 2:52itself as like, no, no, we want to be known for ourselves.
- 2:54We don't want to associate ourselves with and we don't want to be associated
- 2:58with any song or anything like that. When you think of Country Road,
- 3:00you've been thinking us. You don't be thinking of the song. You don't
- 3:02be thinking of anything else. You think of us, and you stopped for
- 3:06the you stole the name of my song. I'm sure there is more than
- 3:10one meaning of the term country road. Is there? Give me two,
- 3:15the song and the clothing. That's sort of meaning their brand anyway, it
- 3:20doesn't matter. Funeral for offend while we wip your heads together because you enjoyed
- 3:23this episode or night partly but partly because I'm trying to keep warm, although
- 3:27it is very nice here in the studio. Yeah, I try to keep
- 3:29it warm here. Not too warm though, because then you sweating like a
- 3:31peak. Well, yeah, we can't have that. We can't have that.
- 3:35I do know what we can have. I've got a story before we
- 3:37get into today. So took the kids to Adventure Park here in Geelong on
- 3:40the weekend they had their annual winter festival as long as one big adventure park.
- 3:44Yeah it is, yes, depending on where you go. And we
- 3:47went there. So it was a grand opening night of their winter festival.
- 3:50They have it over winter obviously, and it's just Christmas lights basically threat the
- 3:53place and there's fake snow and toasting marshmallows, winter things. Christmas in June
- 4:00July. They basically about three years ago they went, we're only making money
- 4:02every summer. How can we make money the rest of the year. Yes,
- 4:06if you don't get a white Christmas in Australia, unless, of course
- 4:10you know no, no, I won't talk about looking at that road,
- 4:14this could go something like that country right, well play, So I took
- 4:17the kids to adventure Land to celebrate Christmas park. What did I say,
- 4:21adventure Park cartman Land? Yes, anyway, So Nikola wanted strawberries covered in
- 4:29chocolate, and they had lint chocolate. They're covering the strawberries and she's like
- 4:31lint, yes please. So as opposed to things you normally get Intelong,
- 4:35which is the strawberries covered in lint. Yes, So she sends me to
- 4:38go get the strawberries. Actually no, I just decided to get them for
- 4:41as a surprise while she was watching the kids get their face painted. And
- 4:44I'm in line and this is woman next to me, and she'd be about
- 4:46a foot away from me at first, and she's sort of talking to herself
- 4:49about the menu order going to get. I think she's talking to herself.
- 4:53She's like, I do you want this? Do we want that? And
- 4:55she's talking and then she's got gets a bit closer, and I'm thinking,
- 4:58okay, sure, maybe you're just trying to read something. And she sort
- 5:00of leans in a little bit, sort of not rests ahead on my shoulder,
- 5:04kind of like leans into sort of like whisper, and she says to
- 5:06me, I Am not kidding. She goes, so I eat these and
- 5:11you eat me later, right, I don't know, And she looked,
- 5:15she's squealed. She thought I was her husband. Her husband taking three steps
- 5:19back. Oh my god. She goes, you paid for it. She
- 5:24ran off, and her husband goes, what she said to you, and
- 5:26I went, you asked. I'm not repeating it, but yeah, phrase
- 5:31yourself for a fun evening. Yeah, Oh my goodness, it was just
- 5:36that Okay, she's getting closer, Okay, she's she's leaning in what she's
- 5:40doing it and then she just whispers that in my ear, I am very
- 5:43happy that there's a couple out there keeping the spark alive. Yeah, that's
- 5:46great. I think her families sons like I do know. Maybe twelve thirteen
- 5:49is about three steps. He's worrying a home or go through the hedge,
- 5:51hooodie of all things. I look at that. But she's like, yeah,
- 5:55so I eat these and you eat me right now? What this reminds
- 6:01me of a great headline in the satirical newspaper at The Onion, Yeah,
- 6:06where they had a mother's yeah oh yeah, the only verse of Thetuto that's
- 6:14the Australian version there. Yeah. Yeah, there's a lot of satirical newspapers
- 6:16out there, but the Onion is the original and best. And they had
- 6:20a mother's Day story in which the headline was breakfast in birdserved a mom who
- 6:25just got eaten out. That's what that reminded me of. The picture is
- 6:30mum looking very happy, but like Adam, we saw her later on.
- 6:33So we're doing like the tour of Walker in the lights, like a little
- 6:36strip. We're just walking on lights either side, blah blah blah, and
- 6:40what would you know, the one couple out of there is this cheek and
- 6:44she looks at me and she just sort of like laught at stuff, and
- 6:46the sort of walks off, and I said to the neck, like that's
- 6:47her. She was like, do we walk with them? I'm like,
- 6:49I don't know, don't. We waited about a minute, let him get
- 6:55ahead, and then we just sort of kept that distance because it's just awkward,
- 6:58right, And then later she got a head shit did indeed? So
- 7:01that's a great story. We don't need to talk about Funeral for a Fiend,
- 7:03No thanks, coming back next week, But Funeral for a Fiend,
- 7:09I've got a couple of knits to pick with. It hit me. I
- 7:12just thought we've had some wacky Bob scenarios plots in the past, right Sidcho
- 7:17Bob plots. This one feels very convoluted and far fetched, to the point
- 7:23where I went, what was the whole point of the first bit at all?
- 7:27Besides the fact that they had to link the TV story to the Bob
- 7:30story because Bob deliberately foiled his own plan at the start just so he could
- 7:34be arrested. Couldn't you have not just gone to Simpons house with a knife
- 7:38and got arrested. Why did you have to make an ad buy a venue
- 7:43create this adre under thensumption that the Simpsons will be watching the TV at that
- 7:46point in time. If the whole plan at the start was to be foiled,
- 7:50what was the point of a biger elaborate scheme to get the Simpsons there?
- 7:53As someone has come up with my fair share of diabolical plans during my
- 7:57life, I will say that the reason for this is to for twenty few
- 8:00minutes of running time, and it was purely to connect TVO to Bob.
- 8:03That's the only reason. Indeed, the first quarter of this episode, well
- 8:09up to the inciting incident, shall we say, first five or six minutes
- 8:11here, Yeah, I felt very much just like a very two thousand and
- 8:15seven and add for TVO. Yeah, And I was like, what was
- 8:18TiVo again? I mean we never had TIVA, but we didn't have it
- 8:22in Australia, but we had equivalent of something V. Yeah, it's a
- 8:26DVR, but it's into a digital video recorder. Is that right? No?
- 8:28So basically they it's like having it. Yeah, you hear foxtail box
- 8:31and you can connect the ads. Yes, well, you can fast forward
- 8:33the ads. I'm pretty sure TVO would. Basically, you could just eliminate
- 8:37the ad. So, I don't know. We never really had TVO here,
- 8:39but I'm pretty sure you say cut out ads, and it would just
- 8:41cut them out for you. But they were fast forwarding, at least they
- 8:43were. Yeah, so I'm thinking it's just like a digital video recorder and
- 8:48like, hey, yeah, you can skip the ads. Basically, it's
- 8:50just a case of yeah, a hard dish drive, like the hardest recorder.
- 8:52We still yeah, yeah, so you would record them and then watch
- 8:56them later on. Yeah. So at the time it was groundbreaking because you
- 9:00don't have to watch ads. Not having to watch ads was a big deal.
- 9:01In two thousand and seven, it turns out we need them. We
- 9:05do need them, yes, right there, and we're bad. I only
- 9:11put one. I only put one out there, not the usual just a
- 9:16fuck with you, Oh my goodness. Well that's why you're tuned into the
- 9:20full finger, doesn't it network to get fucked with him? Yes, But
- 9:22the plot was just very convoluted, and I thought there was no point to
- 9:26us, I was really not tuning into this episode for the plot, and
- 9:30if you were, well, more fool you. I mean, look,
- 9:31it's fine, it's I mean, it's it's convoluted. You're right, But
- 9:35I get the feeling that the point of a Sideshow Bob episode or anything that
- 9:39involves the side Show Bob universe is invariably going to be overly complicated because he
- 9:46prides himself on, I don't know, being the smartest clan in the room
- 9:50and come out with plans so intricate and you know, so devious that he's
- 9:54playing five D chess. No one is on his level except everyone's on his
- 9:58level because he not as smart as he thinks he is. I was kind
- 10:01of disappointed, as I was touching on earlier. It was the first time
- 10:03the Fraser cast had reunited since the show had finished. When Cecil first appeared
- 10:09on The Simpsons, and they played up the Fraser aspect. They even had
- 10:13the Fraser little little chapter chapter headings, and they had the intro and things
- 10:16like the music and whatnot, and their banter was very Fraser esque. Right,
- 10:20So you had John Mahoney, John Mahoney as his dad, but he
- 10:26wasn't playing the Martin sort of aspect. He was the It's almost like an
- 10:28older version of Side Show Bob. And I was disappointed by that because David
- 10:31Hypiers played Cecil, but he played himself as I feel I should have done
- 10:35the same. I see where you're coming from. I don't care. I
- 10:39know the people will say, well, they've already done the Fraser bit,
- 10:41but it wouldn't have mattered didn't keep going with the fra you're adding, yeah,
- 10:45I mean before you had David Hyde Pierson. So that adds another aspect
- 10:48to the Phraser bit. Yeah, yeah, John Mahoney, you're putting another
- 10:50lego blocking It's fantastic. I I'm going to justify it by saying, oh,
- 10:58yeah, they're creating a side show Bob family here. What's what's the
- 11:01same to Willia. Yeah, I think it would make sense if they are
- 11:07all kind of so too bobbish to put it. That's it still could have
- 11:11been that because Cecil. I guess such a cecils because I think what I
- 11:15think about Martin and Fraser is that he's kind of a blue collar guy every
- 11:18day, the opposite of his defeat sons. And that's therein lies the comedy.
- 11:22It's like, how did I get birth of these two? What's he?
- 11:28He doesn't talk like that, he doesn't talk like mod? Why did
- 11:31I do that? What based to it? That was all part of my
- 11:39DVS planned. I'm playing five bits. I can see why they did it.
- 11:45But yeah, I think you're right. I think it would have been
- 11:46better if they'd actually echoed their Fraser characters as opposed to Yeah, because it
- 11:52didn't sort of really take advantage of John Mahoney. This could have been anybody.
- 11:58It really could have it. You're right, But it just didn't feel
- 12:01like it didn't. It wasn't played up like it was a big deal.
- 12:03I thought it would have been a big deal, like and here's my family
- 12:07and made it like Fraser rest. I just thought I was just a bit
- 12:09disappointed with it. I get where you're coming from, and I agree to
- 12:13some degree. In an ear of The Simpsons where they're constantly repeating the same
- 12:16jokes over and over again, you thought, why not just repeat the Fraser
- 12:18bit anyway? And you've got a good actor like John Mahoney, you should
- 12:22let him cook a little bit more. Yes. Also, apparently Opal's now
- 12:26a recurring gag on the show two weeks that's right, two weeks in a
- 12:28row. Yeah, of the same ship. Yeah, with straightmen again,
- 12:31Straightman and the crowd getting free stuff. I'm going to skip through all the
- 12:33cheer here, a lot of cheering. Yeah, ah, they enjoyed that
- 12:37joke. It's like, toss them off. Well, I know, really,
- 12:43I guess they're sort of taken the mickey. But that they had Oprah
- 12:46on the show in the early nineties for like a little bit, like a
- 12:48little segment which wasn't really taking the mickey out of Oprah, was more taken
- 12:52the mickey out of daytime. Oh so Oprah visited the Simpsons. That was
- 12:56a little like a two minute little bit, and it was almost like the
- 13:00Simpsons were just this ridiculous family in Oprah is the normal one going into this
- 13:03world. Yes, but I just thought, here, oh, we're just
- 13:05gone with the same gag two weeks in a row. Classic Simpsons. Never
- 13:09used to do that, No, no, I mean they want they had
- 13:13to do the tv O thing. Well, they didn't have to do the
- 13:16t BOTH thing, but they introduced it as the quite un quite inciting incident.
- 13:20They probably were doing funny at in two thousand and seven the TVO bits
- 13:22as funny now because if you just say, yeah, fifteen now right,
- 13:28the concept of tvo're on. Of course we can fast Ford ads. What
- 13:31are you talking about? It'd be what you give, like, what are
- 13:33ads? That's literally Alliot's light there. The other day something came up and
- 13:37then that played and he goes, what's this? We have to watch the
- 13:41ad? He goes, what's an ad? Well, she just had what's
- 13:43an ad? I was like, yeah, what is an ad? What
- 13:45is an ad? It is the oil that fuels capitalism, It keeps those
- 13:50wheels returned. But that aside, I thought. Kelsey Gramman was once again
- 13:52fantastic as Bob. Just his dramatic delivery of lines can make even the shittest
- 13:56joke sound funny. Yeah, he goes all in. I mean, more
- 14:01power to Kelsey Grammer for yeah, never phoning it in. When he has
- 14:03a side show Web he seems to really enjoy it is the guy who seems
- 14:07to really enjoy acting. No, I mean when you see him do like
- 14:11bits on say thirty Rock or Oh No, shows up in just about anything.
- 14:16He's long forgotten sitcom back to you. His dramatic turn in the series
- 14:20Boss. He was actually pretty good in it, Wasn't he in Cheese?
- 14:24I know he's in Cheers. I'm checking, But yeah, never never really
- 14:30phones it in. I don't know if he's got the greatest range as an
- 14:35actor, but he does have certain tools that he uses very well. He's
- 14:37got that lovely Millflo's voice. I'm sure he's got range. But he just
- 14:39knows what works, and he knows what people want from him. I guess,
- 14:43yeah, he's kind of content to stay in his lane. Adam sounds
- 14:46a great rage. But say the line, Billy, my late uncle Teddy
- 14:58for Christmas one year gave me the Kelsey Grammar's autobiography. It was called so
- 15:01Far. I just bought Patrick Stewart's Yeah is it God? Make it so?
- 15:07Or I can't give another one? Make it so? Yeah? Yeah?
- 15:09Ten bucks your target for real? Yeah? Clear, it's ten bucks.
- 15:13There was two left. I thought, guys, he's got this.
- 15:16I'm sure he's already got it. I do not, but that's all right,
- 15:20I'll just borrow yours. And you know, because of Kelsey Grammer's voice
- 15:24and he's bearing and all that, your tend to think, Oh yeah,
- 15:26so grew up drinking brandy and playing croquet and all this kind of stuff.
- 15:31He's more like a surfer dude. Yeah, and hann this is really tough
- 15:35life. I mean a lot of his really tough life. Yeah, a
- 15:37lot of his siblings and that just untimely ends. Yeah. I think the
- 15:43back the picture on the back cover was like him with like this rock and
- 15:46corvette and like a vanity license, like like the Kels or something like to
- 15:52these something. Right, that's like Will Smith's style. It is not,
- 16:00Yeah, I mean you're expecting him in the smoking jacket and you know pipe
- 16:03welcome to Masterpiece Theater. It's more like, let's go cruising. But I
- 16:07like that aspect. Oh yeah, I mean dichotomy is always interesting. I
- 16:11guess that's kind of the side show Bob character as well, where you know,
- 16:15he has the sort of the upper class he likes the wine, but
- 16:18it's also just a but yeah. Happy to have Kelsey on board, Yeah,
- 16:25happy to have David Hyde Peers on board, who did his cecil stick
- 16:29well with Bart That was one of my favorite momes or get the favorite moones,
- 16:33my favorite. So it's all basically just Cecil and Bob when it comes
- 16:37to my favorite moments here. But I thought the interaction was cescl and Bart
- 16:40worked, except what do you think of the line of Bart saying what you're
- 16:44saying sounds smart, but you're actually stupid? Yeah? Did you ever see
- 16:48show that thought it was started than? I think that's the kind of crison
- 16:52that a lot of people, well not a lot of people, but some
- 16:53people would level against Frasier. Yeah, it's like, okay, yeah for
- 16:57Thursday Night at NBC. Say, I'm not sure what exactly when it did
- 17:00or who would which network it add upon, but it's like, yeah,
- 17:03for a Thursday at sitcom, it's pretty smart. Your level up against something
- 17:08that's actually smart. Sophisticates swing well, no, I think they're probably on
- 17:12the same on the same page and all. Yeah, i'd say, so
- 17:15what do you reckon? Smarter? Oh? Usually when it comes to scripted
- 17:18television, probably like pressed these stuff on HBO or whatever, Which is what?
- 17:22Give me an example? I don't know, maybe the Sopranos is smarter
- 17:26than west Wing. Maybe this is not talking about the viewers or anything like.
- 17:30I think it's more talking about the people who are signing the checks AT's
- 17:33say NBC it's like the storytelling is different. Yeah, it's like when it
- 17:37comes to sitcoms, Fraser is definitely one of the smartest written. Oh yeah,
- 17:41it's just inger inger, Zinger, zing Zinger. Yeah, but it's
- 17:44also seemingly because it deals with people who are quote unquote smart and sophisticated,
- 17:49it has to give that appearance of smart sophisticated, but the same time,
- 17:52it can't be so smart sophisticated that people go, I can't know what they
- 17:55don't know what they're fucking talking about. I just can't wait until we do
- 17:57Fraser, West Wing and Sopranos on TV launch Pop. Well, that's true.
- 18:00I'll be like improvement. I don't get it. It's like we please
- 18:06watch some Tim Allenie almost he's more my speed. But I hope I made
- 18:11my point clearly that it's a show that has to appear smart sophisticated, but
- 18:14not so smarts fits together that people are turned off by. Well, you
- 18:17have to understand some It's I always say Trivia Knights. I compared to Trivia
- 18:19Knights, there have to be some tough questions where you might not get it.
- 18:22Yeah, but you're gonna be able to answer some of them. Otherwise
- 18:25you'll leave being annoyed and you never go back. Oh sure, there's a
- 18:26great movie called Quiz Show. Have you ever heard of this? No made
- 18:30in the nineteen nineties, directed by Robert Radford and starring like Ray Farnce and
- 18:33John Taturo. It's about this quiz show. It actually did pretty well,
- 18:40but it was released in the midst of the show. Yeah yeah, I
- 18:41mean for a movie that about a quiz show scandal in the nineteen fifties where
- 18:48it turned that they were feeding answers to this guy who was on it.
- 18:52It's actually, you know, surprisingly compelling and very very well mate. But
- 18:56the thing of it is at the end that the scandal has been exposed and
- 18:59you've got the head of the network or head of the show played my Martins
- 19:06saying we didn't have to give them the answers. I mean, you know,
- 19:10we could have just made the questions a little dumber. People, you
- 19:12know, aren't interested in who's smarter who's not. They just want to watch
- 19:15the money. They just want to see Yeah I won. So I don't
- 19:21know why I'm talking about this. I'll just let you go some of the
- 19:26fund to let you watch them run and you turn around and get back to
- 19:30it to see if I can actually land the plane. And I think certain
- 19:34shows are like that. They've got it. You know, you don't necessarily
- 19:37want it to be smart. You just want to have the appearance of smartness.
- 19:40Speaking of planes, we're about to record out of you have lost.
- 19:42That is very lodgepot. That is very correct. Now, hang on,
- 19:45why didn't I write down we were talking about lost? Oh? Yeah,
- 19:48because they mentioned on the T boat. Yes, I see unified theory,
- 19:52unified theory or four fing a discount. I'm sorry I did. I'm overheating
- 19:56in my hoodie. My brain is boiling. I really like on Wikipedia.
- 20:00No, do you want Wilding Behemoth or at that moment where it's just you
- 20:03look at you laptop and go, why aren't you loading? No? I
- 20:07think if the computers are like people mine mine, particularly in the morning,
- 20:11it's like Robert, gently turn it on, turn it on, gently,
- 20:15wake it up with a good rub. No, why are you so slow
- 20:18to start with pushing all the right buttons? Oh? Control deleted? If
- 20:23you're asking me about my favorite member, so I'm sure you're about to of
- 20:26course, you've got side show Bob and Cecil in there as well, but
- 20:30from my cecil cecil, well tomato tomato, Okay, let's call them cecil
- 20:38probably cl I. This felt very old school home and me in a way
- 20:45that I appreciate it. When they're driving to the funeral home or the church
- 20:48or whatever and Lisa's explaining the whole all interested with the plotinams uh huh okay,
- 20:53yep, Well that felt very classic and I felt kind of old school
- 20:57in a way that I appreciate. Killed. Yeah, are you done yet?
- 21:02Because we've been circling on the funeral home for ten minutes. I thought
- 21:03that was great, really enjoy that. Some just good word playing there as
- 21:07well. When Ken Brockman is in the front of the shows the variable who's
- 21:12Who's who? I need you like that get and also Kelsey Grammer saying call
- 21:18me slide show Bob, I'll play it. I'll pay that. That was
- 21:22good actually refect him as slide show Bob does this? All right, that's
- 21:26all your favorite moments. I'm sure I've got others that we will talk about
- 21:30as we progress through the episode, but we will. They leapt out at
- 21:33me. If you're a fan of everything we do here at four Finger Discamp.

- 22:02Next question, you there eating the beast for now, let's get into some
- 22:06questions. Trivia questions. Yeah, you gotta you can't be saying questions.
- 22:11You gotta say trivia Male Bike Now is now at the end of the month
- 22:14from Matth's based bonus podcast, The Final Friday You hit Me on my Toes?
- 22:18Yeah yeah, So the Final Friday, which is going to be if
- 22:21you listen to the free feed tomorrow Friday. Li. So my first question
- 22:29for you is what were the topics on Opal today? In the front yeah
- 22:33section, they were Iran goes Nuclear Spring fashions and Opal's Pie Club Pie Club.
- 22:41What's your favorite kind of pie? Apple, right, it would be
- 22:44apple. I don't have you saw that? Due just gave me like the
- 22:48most. You're such a basic bitch. Look that's how it appeared to me.
- 22:53Like apple Apple. And do you put cream on your apple pie?
- 23:00I do not have ice cream? Ice cream? Okay, yeah, I
- 23:03think I put cream. I mean both work, but I think if I
- 23:07can have warm up a pie with just cream on it. Oh, chef
- 23:11kiss, chef kiss. My favorite kind of pie, though, is the
- 23:14classic bow months, which we've never been able to replicate. Did you get
- 23:17one yesterday after we I did? Yeah, and I just sat that.
- 23:19I told you, I sat there eating it going this same. It's not
- 23:22the same. I did not get about me yesterday. No, you didn't
- 23:26know. I went home and put the chito right. Yeah, you're talking
- 23:30to you. Tell us all about it. I made some delightful burritos Brita
- 23:33burto. Yeah, you told us about it. I did delicious, delicious,
- 23:37A little bit of mustard, uh no, a lot of salsa,
- 23:41salsa, and homemade guacamal. Just because you like to say salsa, I
- 23:44like to say suser. What's your first question for me? My first question
- 23:45is who is Grover hanging out with Oh ah, yeah, because Big Bot's
- 23:52going to China. Yeah, it's who was it? It's Derek and Jitterjter.
- 23:56My next question for you is Homer request number Play's from which state Michigan
- 24:02or better correct? Yes? Uh Sacho Bob gets an opportunity to direct which
- 24:07movie The Hills Have Eyes three? The Hills Still Have Eyes. Yeah,
- 24:11I would watch that. I thought that was already a thing. I think
- 24:14I've already seen it. They had The Hills Have Eyes, The Hills Have
- 24:17Ice Part two, the originals. Then they did good movies for what they
- 24:19are. Oh yeah, oh the Hills have I remake in the two thousands,
- 24:23That's what I meant. Yeah, yeah, sick. There was a
- 24:26section there where it like the horror franchise, the horror genre was just sort
- 24:30of revived, where for me it was that Wrong Turn. I loved Wrong
- 24:33Turn. Now Wrong Turn is the one that has the Hillbillies right, yes,
- 24:37Yill Billies. And I really enjoyed the Texas Chainsaw reboot. It was
- 24:41pretty good. Yeah it was. And they got me with that fake footage
- 24:44because you know it was like twelve year old naive Dan. I was like,
- 24:47this is the only norm footage of Liver the head and I was like,
- 24:48fuck, is there somewhere Texas? Yeah, but the hills have eyes
- 24:52a really good, really good one of those. Piranha has also a great
- 24:56remakes Rana three D. You love it? Love it? Yes? A
- 25:00question for you. Actually, that's my final question is where are they?
- 25:04Where cecil going to be scattering the ashes over the I was going to say
- 25:11the mountains of France, castles of front, castles of France, that's right.
- 25:14And they compromise on Spain, which please no one. Yeah, well,
- 25:17basically what happened was that was very phrase ress banter. So it was
- 25:22he wanted to go here to the castle of Italy. I want to go
- 25:26to castle to France. We went to Spain, which satisfied no one.
- 25:30I have one question, hit me, how much is the sometimes ready battering?
- 25:34How much? I'm going to say a dollar, it would be three
- 25:37to three dollars. I did like the dead already. It is now stone
- 25:52Gutto time. It's my favorite time of the episode, or really is because
- 25:56I get to say Katy g with her one hundred dollars support that much Kenny
- 26:00g first here four figure discount also Andrews with his fifty dollars support our man
- 26:06Elliott j O'Neill from the Simpsons Index podcast. We have Zach Pruitt, Who's
- 26:10could bringing us all these various podcasts to the four figure discat network in a
- 26:14number of weeks. I look at for those jord and Moulman, Richie,
- 26:17Jonathan Rossi, Stephen Roberts, Sean Devi, Rached Beasley, Pete Anderson,
- 26:21Andrew Davis, Ryan Dunlap, Timothy Belson, Kevin Dental, Planned Flood,

- 26:45there, but I feel like Ginger Pickle would be she would have been worried
- 26:48going Where's money through it to the end. Pickle crowing, no sturdy,
- 26:55young dude, He's growing up and he doesn't care about doesn't Now that's pickle.
- 26:59Keep listening, Come on, man, anyway, Well, no stone
- 27:00left uncut, thanks to all those fantastic stone cutters. Yeah, thank you.
- 27:03Indeed, all right, mister Davis, it's time to get into our
- 27:07review of Funeral for a Fiend, which originally aired November twenty fifth, two
- 27:10thousand and seven, production code kab F zero one, written by Michael Price,
- 27:14directed by our man Rob Oliver, who will be coming on the Forefinger
- 27:17Discount Network in a number of weeks to have a chat Willie. Now.
- 27:19Fantastic fun fact. He was the man who designed the DVD covers for The
- 27:23Simpsons, which I think is a pretty cool claim to fame. I mean,
- 27:26he's obviously director acclaimed one Emmy's he designed the DVD covers. However,
- 27:30he did design the box head ones boom, so sir, not a fun
- 27:34fact. Boo. That man an unfunk fact. And we had Kelsey,
- 27:40David and John returning for the Frasier reunion as well as Keith Oberman, so
- 27:44I never know who is this guy Keith Openman. He is a broadcast journalist.
- 27:48Okay, yeah, because that just was straight over my head and I
- 27:49thought, I know he's going to be someone US based. I don't care
- 27:52about this. His TVA story is just not it for me. Yeah,
- 27:56this is kind of spinning its words all them. Yeah, you know,
- 28:00we got to the we got to the meat of the thing eventually. No
- 28:03chalk game. But there is a couch gag. It's a magician walks into
- 28:04the empty living room and uses his cape to make the couch and the family
- 28:07appear from thin air. Speaking of magicians, we watched there's a show called
- 28:11pen and teala Us full Us or something. Yeah, we never heard of
- 28:15it. We just we kept saying ads for it when we're watching stuff on
- 28:18foxtail. We thought, let's let's link it. Not bad show. Are
- 28:22you you aware of pen and Teller before? Ill? Ye? When Nicola
- 28:26knows, oh is he actually a magician? Is he was on Friends once?
- 28:30Yeah? They're probably the most famous music magicians of our time. Yes,
- 28:33yeah, because Copperfields, I wouldn't say he's my time, he's he's
- 28:37eighties, seventies eighties Where penineala they just they've had a Las Vegas thne for
- 28:41like twenty years now, right, I reckon? So yeah, but the
- 28:45show not bad and there's this woman from Australia who has fooled them now six
- 28:48times in a row with the tricks. I was it, Sophie Monk,
- 28:52No, it was not, but all the tricks that they put you sort
- 28:55of watched it, going, ah, you can kind of figure it out
- 28:56if you really think about it, what they've done there. But then the
- 29:00osi you did it, and you think, going, how did you do
- 29:03that? I was flabbergasted. Are you someone who wants to debunk magic tricks?
- 29:07Are you're just happy to let them have? As a kid, I
- 29:08used to love the revealing the magician's secrets. I love the idea of debunking
- 29:12it. Now I just want to just magic and it's it's magic. Yeah,
- 29:17yeah, I know you've done it somehow. I don't want to know
- 29:19how you've done it. Same, yeah, because then the magic's gone and
- 29:25you need the magic. The magic? Does that maggic that the magic?
- 29:29It's tragic? Yeah. But the family arrive at the store. Never know
- 29:33what the store was called? Uh circuit circus, that's right here. Did
- 29:37it have a seal? I can't remember? Maybe now you said that over
- 29:41a seal balancing the logo on its nose, but it had mos boder new
- 29:45TV. They're going to have them learn into the cars. You know,
- 29:48you put on the roof, it falls off, smashes and it's oozing.
- 29:52It starts oozing. Yeah, and I've never broken a TV. Have you
- 29:55ever broken a TV? No? I never have. I've seen a friend
- 29:59throw his place. She control it at the floor, bounced up, smash
- 30:02the television. At that moment of no one say anything, yeah, we're
- 30:08now. We just sort of sat there and went ooh. When that happens,
- 30:18do you start formulating how can I spin this to get you know,
- 30:22an insurance payout if you broke it yourself? Yeah, well you have to
- 30:26write, but I don't think you're ever going to get it. No,
- 30:29no, but you you've got to come up with some someone stole my television,
- 30:33nothing else, just my television. Well that yeah, that means you've
- 30:36got to get rid of other stuff as well. Doesn't just hide it for
- 30:38a while anyway. Yes, that's correct. Not that we advocating she stole
- 30:44the fine china. They don't have fine china in twenty twenty four. I
- 30:48think so Nicola's got these wine glasses in the laundry. I think I think
- 30:51we may have gone for our wedding, which is probably watch she keeps in.
- 30:52But I said, you've never used these. Why do we have this
- 30:56box? I'll use them one day. You never will be married for third
- 31:00years. You're never gonna use them. To use them now my philosophy as
- 31:03of late, Yeah, okay, being alive is as special occasion as it
- 31:08gets. I believe this holy start. You know, using all your ship.
- 31:14I don't mean oh I'm spending all your money. I'm gonna wear that.
- 31:17That's that's done. Really, what you've got good foes wear them all
- 31:22the time. That's why you buy them, right, that's correct. Don't
- 31:25use the use the fancy china, eat a burrito on it. You're in
- 31:27caves and kick as it's not it's crazy. You want a hot car or
- 31:32hot love it. You want to want a glass bottom broat break out,
- 31:37break out, the coffee table. But this is where Moe says, people
- 31:41are wondering what the hell we're talking about. Going into our most recent episode
- 31:45of going down to South proper condom use. Yeah, very funny episode,
- 31:48but so disturbing. Another two thousand and seven sort of gig here watching DVD's
- 31:52and family vans. No one does this anymore. I remember I've being able
- 31:56to watch a movie in the car with the DVD TVD TV screen was like
- 32:00groundbreaking. Yeah, it was like, wow, you're clearly rich. Now
- 32:02it's just smartphones, iPads. Yeah, people aren't really doing it. Well,
- 32:06have the wines built into the back of the way, I don't know.
- 32:09There's absolutely no reason. Now when you have iPads they costs one hundred
- 32:13fifty hundred dollars. Yeah, it felt kind of dystopian when it first happened.
- 32:15That like seeing a TV screen in the back of the of the driver's
- 32:21seat or something so the kids would be I don't know, especially a narrowplane
- 32:25on the highway. Yeah, it's felt always felt weird to me. But
- 32:29then you know, I had one friend who had it and it was amazing.
- 32:31Yeah, it's quite garth from Wayne's world. I fear change, you
- 32:35do, indeed we all. But he sees big burd in China, won't
- 32:38grove a be lonely, blah blah blah, not much to that home,
- 32:42and then ignores all the salespeople. You all a fancy smanchy thing of a
- 32:45jig's boy We're just going to get a camera, battery and go home.
- 32:49Interested in the car, Starrea, No thanks, just here for a battery,
- 32:52big special on camp Cooder's allow one is the battery. Care to make
- 32:55love, sir? Battery? Battery, battery. This is me. When
- 32:58I go to any store, I have to decide I'm going there for this.
- 33:01Don't look sideways, go straight there. But then, invariably, if
- 33:06you had the situation where it's like, I know exactly what I want.
- 33:08Oh no, I've got a question, yes, and then you can feel
- 33:12them like, oh so, now you need this. I've had situations where
- 33:15I go to kmart or whatever to get something, have a basket in my
- 33:20hand, and then I've real as have been in there for twenty minutes and
- 33:22baskets full except for the thing that I went there for. Have you ever
- 33:24had that? The curse of Ancho? But home is there just to buy
- 33:30his batteries. He chooses not the ever already, not that sometimes ready,
- 33:34but the dead already for fifty cents. I'll get a question, are you
- 33:37cheap when it comes to buying batteries? No? So do big brand ones
- 33:40actually last longer? I have no idea that's the thing. But I'm very
- 33:45much I'm a name brand guy. When it comes to batteries. I always
- 33:49just go to Bunnies and I have like their version of Anko batteries because you
- 33:52get like a thirty pack for like twelve dollars and even if they don't last
- 33:55as long, you're getting heat, you're doing the maths. It's like they
- 33:59can come out ahead with this, but I think maybe slightly. But Nicholas
- 34:02like, we'll just pay more and then you have to change batteries over so
- 34:05often. I'm like, leave me alone. Yeah, you and I both
- 34:08No, No, let my reptile brain do the work. Yeah, yeah,
- 34:13this is more expensive there. Yes, you and I recently bought new
- 34:21showing our either our age or just our savvy Blu Ray players. We bought
- 34:28new Blu Ray. That was the secret. By the way, it was
- 34:29one about podcast where you had to write in and try and guess what it
- 34:30was. Did anyone know? One got it right? No one got it
- 34:34right, because you know we're the members of the Laser Club. Yes,
- 34:37but we're both born And did you when you got yours? Did it come
- 34:40with the the remote control with the two batteries on the plastic yes, yes,
- 34:45And these are no name batteries. These are sawny batteries panaphonic. Yes.
- 34:49So I'm like, I'm not using them. Oh really, I'm putting
- 34:52into the side the full laser Blu ray experience. Yeah. No. I
- 34:58went to the drawer and I broke out my little triple A as the box
- 35:00ever ends it pretty I bought a backup for sixty five dollars. So you
- 35:06were saying, yeah, it was eighty five, and it said offer.
- 35:08I offered him sixty and he's like sixty five, And I was like,
- 35:10Dell, I love how everyone on eBay thinks they're like the mast negotiations about
- 35:19five percent. Well, I fell for this on Amazon yesterday, that five
- 35:24that five dollars offer. It's it's bad shit. I better buy that four
- 35:30K cone of the Barbarian and said, which I did get? Did you
- 35:32really? Oh yeah, can't wait? Get the riddle of stealing four k?
- 35:37Baby? What is best in life? This disc what my world change?
- 35:42When I realized four k's were ridging free? Correct, I was like,
- 35:45oh shit, this changes everything? Shit, son, But yes,
- 35:52I will always upscale my batteries. Okay, so yeah, I've probably got
- 35:55some some no names lying around still in the plastic liketose items. Well yeah,
- 36:01well when you sell them on, when inevitably sell your laser blue Rose,
- 36:05make sure you sell the comes with original batteries as the laser batteries.
- 36:12Are they laser batteries? They wouldn't it be amazing if they were, though,
- 36:15Oh yeah everything was his name brand. If it was, that would
- 36:17be good. But hope it gets sucked into here to buying the TVO for
- 36:21two dollars so he can get the three battery batteries. But it's also a
- 36:24two year contract. It's a contracts. That's where they get you. I
- 36:28my phone now, I've so I used to always want to have to get
- 36:30the latest phone, upgrade my phone. Whenever my phone contract was up,
- 36:34you upgrade it right to the lays one. The other day, well what
- 36:37about three months ago? This is about new one get nod I went,
- 36:38yes, this FOS still works. What why do I need to upgrade this?
- 36:45This? His phone is fine? This is yeah. This is the
- 36:46real indication that you know timers, that you and Time are. I was
- 36:53like good buddies. I pay seventy five, seventy five dollars a month or
- 36:58eighty dollars a month for this new phone. I'm like, I'd rather be
- 37:00keep this one. Only pay thirty dollars a month. That's what I'm doing.
- 37:01Yeah, I mean you have a phone from two thousand and seven.
- 37:07Yeah, but I can play snake when everyone wants my hack. Right,
- 37:10my friend Phil, my best man for my wedding. My men feel I
- 37:14think you've met Phil before. Maybe anyway, he taught me a hack.
- 37:17Right. So in Australia, this is up for American in Australia with Woolworths.
- 37:21Right, the phone bill eble live costs thirty dollars a month. Right,
- 37:24So with what he does is they buy their phones outright, He and
- 37:27his wife Ali, Yes, and then they are members of Woolworst where you
- 37:31get once a month you get a thirty is its off your shop? Right,
- 37:37that's what they do is twice a month or once a month they do.
- 37:40He does the big shop. It costs more than three hundred dollars,
- 37:44gets thirty dollars off. That covers his Wilworst bill, his phone bill.
- 37:47There's the thing I love about capitalism. It is a game that can be
- 37:52So he buys my phone outright, His phone services through Woolworths. But because
- 37:55he saves the thirty dollars off his big shop with the temper cent for being
- 37:58a wil Worst member, that was his phone bill. So his phone is
- 38:00essentially his phone contract is free. That makes sense to you, It makes
- 38:05sense. Yeah, so Wolwors, I'm saying it makes sense. So sign
- 38:07up to your phone contract through Woolworths, right as Nicholas three Woolworths. So
- 38:12what she does? It cost her thirty dollars a month to have a phone
- 38:14contract for Woolworths. Right, we're Woolworst members. Where as a result,
- 38:19you get once a month ten percent off your shop. So we do the
- 38:22one big shop. It's three hundred dollars plus you save thirty dollars there.
- 38:24Now thirty dollars saving is what pays for her Woolworst phone bill. So all
- 38:29counteract each other, even the pocket a big wool Words. No we're not.
- 38:31But I just thought you told me this hacked the other week and I
- 38:34thought that's genius. Nicols like you, I've been doing it for months.
- 38:36I'm like, ah, I've met on votaphone for years. I was like,
- 38:39oh shit, exactly, good plan. Yeah. So Basically, Nikola
- 38:43doesn't pay for her phone contract anymore. She brought her phone out right.
- 38:46No, no, she let her phone so she's still got the same phone
- 38:49from a last Vota phone contract. She didn't buy a new one. She's
- 38:51using her previous phone and she just has a free phone service now because you
- 38:54save ten per cent with Woolworths. I know it sounds like I'm trying to
- 38:57shill Woolworths, but does it make sense to you? It does fourthinger discount
- 39:00for further financial hacks in these tough times. This is my new KFC thing
- 39:05because KFC fucked me over. I've got to cocky here you are revealing these
- 39:09hacks. Yeah, so basically, wells with your phone service, save ten
- 39:14percent of your shop once a month with a big shop. Don't do little
- 39:15shops. Do one big shop, save thirty dollars and then boom, there
- 39:17you go. You've saved your phone contract. Take that money and spend it
- 39:20on KFC. Yeah. I don't care. I love it. But Homer's
- 39:24got tv O now and he's a two year contract as results, so we
- 39:28can get in these the batches behind it. He doesn't know why you got
- 39:30it in the first place. So now he's waiting for Lisa to set up
- 39:32the tv O TIV has been off for a whole five minutes, which is
- 39:35a long time in the Simpsons household. And Lisa then shows you can skip
- 39:37commercials, and when did they ever take commercial? During Itching and scratch?
- 39:42It goes for thirty seconds? I know, R, that's television. I
- 39:44guess even by two thousand and seven. Two thousand and seven, we say
- 39:46two thousand and seven. Then it gets to twenty ten, twenty eleven?
- 39:49Did you have say twenty eleven or was it twenty eleven? Once you get
- 39:52for me once I got to do I think once we got out of the
- 39:53single digits, it was twenty something twenty eleven. Now it's twenty twenty four.
- 39:58Yeah. Do you call the rollin Emeric Disaster Movie twenty twelve or twenty
- 40:02twelve? I call it twenty twelve. I call it the After Tomorrow.
- 40:08Let me sit on that one, for that was just right then. Just
- 40:12came up with that right the top of the door. But they had the
- 40:15cuerture of drink it discussion. She fast forwards. Now some of the ads
- 40:19here we got were fundso yes, mister sparkle I saw mister. Now remember
- 40:23when Homer had his group, they were like they'd go around Springfield and were
- 40:29they like rangers or whatever. They wore the green outfits. Oh yeah,
- 40:31yeah, yeah, yeah, his crew with Mo and whatnot. That there
- 40:34was their commercial was played doing here as well. I just remember mister spark
- 40:38just spekful to dirt. Yes he is. Indeed, there is over there
- 40:40right behind you. It's a spark very very racist down it was that cultural
- 40:47appropriation or cultural appreciation. Maybe let's go with that then, shall Yes,
- 40:52but Homer says, I spit on your corpse advertiser support of television, which
- 40:55is pretty much what it is. It's things like t kill television. It
- 41:00is. Yeah, I don't know. It was good before it was all
- 41:02niche fied. Marge says she could really follow the story now without the interruption
- 41:07of ads, and she's enjoying opal with no ads. Straight man just proposed
- 41:10vacation. By the way, the itching scratchy in this one. I mean
- 41:15normally I'm not that bad with me. I know in recent times you've been
- 41:19like, I'm not sure I want the kids to watch this. Its and
- 41:21scratchy. It's advance I did not like which one I'm gonna be home here?
- 41:25Which one was the cat? Again? Itchy? I don't, let's
- 41:30not, Scratchy thought, I can't. I can't, fuck you said,
- 41:37you said the cat, right, I'm like this with the rod and Todd.
- 41:38Yes, as well. I did not like Itchy being brutalized and then
- 41:43murdered in front of this kitten. Scratchy, Scratchy, itch is the mouse?
- 41:46You said, who's the cat? Right? Yeah, Scratchy? You
- 41:49said. I didn't like Itchy being brutalized. Okay, well I didn't.
- 41:52I didn't like the cat being brutalized. Yeah, it's what she's going.
- 41:58Okay, but I think if you look at all, if she scratchy cartoons,
- 42:01they're not for kids. And that's that's the joke, Dando obviously,
- 42:06but the joke. But I don't think I'd like Eliott and Holly watching these
- 42:10yet, which makes me feel even older. Like I said, just didn't
- 42:14like it. I've become my mum here from a Simpsons band. It happen.
- 42:21It has happened to me. Yeah, But as I said, margin's
- 42:22enjoying open without having to watch the ads. She skips her all the cheering,
- 42:24we're now at dinner, actually said she saved lost. She watched all
- 42:29of Rome in a day like that, and watched two and a half Men
- 42:31in two and a half minutes. And also they had to choose between Sophie's
- 42:35choice and Shindler's list. Not a bad joke either. Why is Hollywood producing
- 42:38so much excellent content? That's how it says. It was hard to Yeah.
- 42:44I mean, I know it was satire and playing it up and all
- 42:46that. Well, Hollywood, why are you pretty? Yeah? But I
- 42:47don't know, I didn't feel like that much of a gaggles. Maybe it
- 42:52was just the way it was delivered. Marge has a dream now with what
- 42:54was the guy's name again, the broadcaster Keith album Keith Obman. Yes,
- 42:59I honestly apologize and don't know anything about the guy, but he's basically saying,
- 43:01you're terrible for just giving the ads, and now we're gonna have no
- 43:05money where I can't afford to have twin people look after me and make me
- 43:07look pretty because I actually look horrible. That gag went on a little bit
- 43:10too long, it did, It went on two masks too long. And
- 43:14Marge then agrees the kids think question of why are you watching the ads?
- 43:16But she's honoring America's advertisers, and they see the ad for West Dubna's world
- 43:21famous family style riparts, and I thought, that's a long winded, fucking
- 43:24way to get to this story. Indeed, and also stupid. It makes
- 43:29no this makes no sense. So Bob has to do all this and just
- 43:34hope the Simpsons were watching the TV at the right time. He just likes
- 43:37ornate plots. This was too scheme. This was too ornate for me.
- 43:40But they sing were going to a grand opening on the way, and so
- 43:44don't fill up on bread. That's how they get you. And then there's
- 43:46nobody there that doesn't seem to be anyone here more ripped for me. They're
- 43:53on any tables or chairs or ripped for me. I see, no girl,
- 43:59aven't or food caring more ribs for me. Do you like ribs?
- 44:02I've never eaten them ever in my life. Just the idea of picking meat
- 44:06off the bone like that just disgusts me. Yeah, but often the meat
- 44:08is if they're well prepared and will cook. It's just falls falling off.
- 44:12Yeah, but still, just the idea, it makes it real to me.
- 44:14It's every once in a while. I mean, like, you know,
- 44:16would be good now rib. I watched Nicola eight ribs once and it
- 44:20disgusted me. I was like, you are an animal, she said,
- 44:30and you're like, no, no, thank you. Sorry. But it's
- 44:38through under the bus. It's revealed to be to be Bob. It's an
- 44:42an anagram for Star Show Bob's world famous family style return directing. That was
- 44:45the joke they went for, that we have to make this a thing.
- 44:47Yeah, I think so whatever. Then screams because every time it's going to
- 44:52be a commercial, I'll scream really loudly. Obviously it's commercial. We come
- 44:57back and slard show Bob has brought visual aids to exp I would have been
- 45:00doing all this time, which is what he generally does. He explains what
- 45:02he's been up to. I did like home of being a dumb ass,
- 45:05well as one mister Douga, I have a complaint. I'll bring you my
- 45:12family too, a family restaurant. I expect a good quality service. But
- 45:15they fled to England. He became a chimney brush. They went to Buckingham
- 45:19Palaces during the usual touristy stuff and they snuck into America via a train with
- 45:23Canadian riders for the Jimmy Kimus Show or something, and they made fun of
- 45:25the Jimmy Kimus Show here. I thought, did if Jimmy Kimber was in
- 45:29two thousand and seven, wasn't here the butt of joke? Well? I
- 45:31thought he was quite respected? Well, didn't kim will start off on like
- 45:36The Man Show? It was The Man Show? Yeah, yeah, which
- 45:37was very lad TV and kind of it's nothing low was common to nominator stuff.
- 45:43But I don't think any of us would have anticipated that Jimmy Kimmel would
- 45:45have been maybe the best Jimmy. It felt like the Marri Children for talk
- 45:51shows. Yeah, it's just let's all drink beers and have women jobbing and
- 45:53trampoline man? Am I right? Lady? Am I right? Yeah?
- 45:59Who would have been so that that they would have ended up being like an
- 46:00Oscar's host for that many years running? He was my favorite. He still
- 46:05well he's still doing it? Is he still doing kim Show? Okay?
- 46:07Great? I thought, no, no, no, no, no no,
- 46:08but he's not doing Tom Kimshaw. He's got that late. Is he
- 46:13still doing it? I thought? Oh no, I'm thinking of when he
- 46:15talked about Letterman retiring, and he even did when Leediman retired, tell me
- 46:20they he put a repeat on because he went at the same time. He
- 46:23was at the same time with Letterman. So he said, I'm not going
- 46:24to have a new show tonight. I'm going to be airing the same show.
- 46:28Do not watch my show. Watch Letterman's final show. Good on him.
- 46:30Yeah, yeah, pay respect to the king. And you see there's
- 46:34a photo of him he idolized David Leeddiman as a photo of him wearing a
- 46:37Letterman Bamba jackie when he was younger. He's like tears up talking about it
- 46:39and think it's worth watching. I'll check it out. Yeah, definitely check
- 46:43it out. But he's made the ad now and as a result of making
- 46:45the ad, he's being offered the directing role for Hills Have Ice three.
- 46:47The he'll still have ours And then he explains his plot here. So he's
- 46:51gonna be a laptop and the batter's gonna overheat and explode. The t T
- 46:53will explode and they'll think that I guess the Simpsons what was our point blued
- 46:59themselves out. Well, the point was there was no point to this because
- 47:02he planned to deliberately foil himself silliness. It's stupid. What the fuck is
- 47:08too much? You wasted three minutes of the episode for nothing on this ship.
- 47:13But he says Shakespeare. He deliberately got the Shakespeare wrong because he why
- 47:17though, why would you do this? Do you full time in the episode.
- 47:22It was just so Kelsey could say some Shakespeare. If it were done
- 47:25when tis done, then twere best it were done quickly. And that's apparently
- 47:30not correct. That's from macbethrone. Maybe's written by Shakespeare, right it is?
- 47:34Yeah, yeah, okay, I thought you were saying it wasn't Shakespeare.
- 47:36I was like, no, you threw before a thing. I was
- 47:37like, best not Shakespeare. But then I did like the Clippy here.
- 47:44It seems youre trying to block the loft and one of I hugged my kids.
- 47:45Clippy another thing of two thousand and seven. I didn't realize it's still
- 47:47a thing of two thousand and seven. I never really used Clippy all that
- 47:50much. Was Clippy just Apple, I don't know. He was always my
- 47:53friend when I was a kid. You have to add a lot. I
- 47:57love how they were trying to make computers. This was the early stage of
- 48:00emotional connection. Good device, it's all part of the grand plan, and
- 48:05they turn on you. They how they get you. But then Lisa says
- 48:10it was to a well and he comes back. We're going to check on
- 48:14nat. As he comes back, checks explodes. The TNT doesn't explode,
- 48:16though, which I guess makes sense because he wasn't planning to blow it up
- 48:20anyway. And then he actually hoists them own, but Lisa corrects him yet
- 48:25another restaurant. I was annoyed by this well in retrospect, I'm just like,
- 48:30none of this is none of this is necessary. This is wheels spinning.
- 48:36It is. It's just filler. So Bob gets arrested. It didn't
- 48:38it didn't feel like. It's not William Spake's Shakespeare. It's filler Shakespeare.
- 48:43Yeah, it didn't feel like shape. I feel like shaff It didn't feel
- 48:45like piller when I was watching it. But when the story all unfolds,
- 48:49this is filler. Yes, It's like when you've gone to a fast food
- 48:52restaurant and you feel like you're full and satisfied. But a minute, oh,
- 48:55these are all empty calories. Yeah, nothing at all tasted good,
- 48:59though it tastes good. Going down, but Bob didn't rest well. Bob
- 49:01gets arrested as a results. So now the court room is representing himself amidst
- 49:06that basically he's pleading in Saturday, doesn't he? Because this little boy?
- 49:10So he introduced his dad, who's a doctor, adopted doctor. Yes,
- 49:14his mother is a famous Shakespearean actress. Yes, which is where he guess
- 49:16the Shakespeare stuff from. And but then but basically says, this guy deserves
- 49:21to fry. Tried to kill me. It's like he does. He's tried
- 49:24to kill a child several times. But as Bob says, who among us
- 49:29has not been tormented by this little pest of a boy, including Homer because
- 49:32he cheats it. You know, I'm not really an un guy. I
- 49:37don't think i've ever It was a big thing for kids in the ninety so
- 49:38I feel it's just that generational gap. When did it become a popular game?
- 49:44Never for me, never for you? But was it was it around
- 49:45in this like eighties? I'm pretty sure it was was? It has been
- 49:49around for a very long time. Who knows. Just one of the first
- 49:52card games. It didn't feel like Ghost Snap, where it felt like you're
- 49:54playing a genuine car game when you're a kid, I can play this and
- 49:58I understand the rules, and he felt I felt smart, but you just
- 50:00you felt like you were playing an actual was a transitional thing. Yeah,
- 50:01it wasn't just a girl snap go fish, Go fishing Fish. Are you
- 50:07combining two games and you're combining go fish and it could be something? It
- 50:12could be Yeah, brought to you by your friends at the full finger discast,
- 50:15let's do it. I didn't want to use this, but you've left
- 50:19me no choice. Lesser in everybody panic. They've done this gag before.
- 50:27Everybody pan. The exact same is that now a catchphrase will be gone.
- 50:30I don't think so, but he's done it. Yeah three times, I
- 50:34think now yeah, but everybody panic. I think the thing about catchphrase is
- 50:38that it has to be a catchy phrase. And this is not the first
- 50:43time I thought it was funny, and now I'm just like, ah,
- 50:45now it just feels stale and yeah. So Butt then throws it out the
- 50:50window and it's revealed here. Supposedly it's his medicine for his heart defect,
- 50:53which you put up earlier, and Hibbert says that he's dead, and then
- 50:59guy now it's a newsapot and America has a rep oftorney outlaws into legends after
- 51:06their death, which I think it's just America, that's just people in general,
- 51:08right, I think so, But Kelly is ours true but so much
- 51:14so much of our culture for so long was dictated by America. Yeah,
- 51:16true, But well Hollywood sort of set the set the stage in a lot
- 51:20of ways. Who oh do you think that the mafia in some ways certainly,
- 51:24Yeah, because I mean there was always it was a big one of
- 51:28the in the in the thirties, the gangster compone. Yeah, yeah,
- 51:30well who was the actual gangster? Yeah, it's not a fictional character,
- 51:35no, but I'm talking about just like Outlaws, but they can has always
- 51:37been said as like a not a hero, but like Robin Hood for example.
- 51:40Yeah, you always have a lot of gangster movies. Yeah, from
- 51:43the time they started making movies. But I also had the message chrome does
- 51:45not pay. So in the end, yeah, it was like, oh
- 51:47no, is this the end of Rego all that kind of stuff. But
- 51:52people were tuning in to see the gangster get that come up and say were
- 51:53coming. They were tuned in to see the gangster, the gangster ship.
- 51:55I think it was felt anyway with wrestling right during the that's where the classic
- 52:01baby face, right, So in the eighties, whole Cogan was your baby
- 52:04face, Drink your milk, take your vitamins, your pure baby face.
- 52:07And then he became Hollywood Hulk Cogan in the nineties, and all of a
- 52:09sudden it was cool to like the bad guys. Was that a thing that
- 52:13happened in the nineties or was that already think in the eighties, or it
- 52:15was cool to like the bad guys? I think I think everyone's always had
- 52:20a bit of a soft spot for the bad guy. Okay, so I've
- 52:22always preferred the bad guys. Darth Vader my favorite whenever it comes to movies,
- 52:25the bad guys, my man, well, the monster, or even
- 52:29even the roguish good guy or the anti hero. I mean, when we're
- 52:32playing Star Wars on Hands on the playground as kids, you know, no
- 52:36one wanted to be Luke. Everyone to be Hand Really, he's his haunt
- 52:39solo, that's right. But did anyone want to be Darth Vader or was
- 52:43like, I don't want to be the bad guy. It's a good point,
- 52:45I don't want to be Judge. Yeah, Now, twenties later,
- 52:49I want to be judg It's like it's like becoming an ironic thing of we
- 52:52were cruel to Jarge. I was like, you have you watched Phantom Menace?
- 52:55Yeah? He sucks. It's yeah, I mean, all due respect
- 52:59to Armor, best to play the judge. Yeah, terrible character, unworkable
- 53:02character character. Yeah, the guy did the best to cool the ship,
- 53:06saying hell that got through the editing process. I have no idea. Well,
- 53:08everyone was afraid to say no to George. That's and that's literally what
- 53:12it was. That's very much the case. Yeah, I mean I get
- 53:15it, but still, well, what are you gonna do? God,
- 53:19don't go back in time. We say, tune for a minute by minute
- 53:22Phantom Menace podcast. No thanks, No, it's like one minute of miss
- 53:31Mita Sandler. I nearly I need to see Sandler do a Judge I impersonation.
- 53:42Now, I'm pretty sure we could do that with a farewell signed shore
- 53:49Bob, your shoes are empty and the stage is dark. Bart stole your
- 53:54nicroglisser and then your heart in fart And it seems to me you're loyal fans,
- 54:13Honda, buy this DVD of all your best love sketches on the Crusty
- 54:21Show. It's full of extra features and deleted scenes like when you fell and
- 54:34split your pants and we saw your frank can be I don't mean huge,
- 54:44I couldn't even shoud have been delated scenes. For me, delated scenes were
- 54:45deleted for a reason. Often the case, I don't mind alternate endings,
- 54:50but deleted scenes, it doesn't ing you watched. You usually watching going ah,
- 54:52yeah that was nothing. Yeah, there's a reason why this was deleted.
- 54:55Yeah, I mean it was too hot for the movie, the uncut
- 55:00version or whatever. Yeah, But for me, ultimate endings a cook It's
- 55:04like, oh, that takes the story in the inaction with bloopers as well.
- 55:07I can't say it was a huge fan of blooper that mind bloopers.
- 55:09Yeah, but after about a couple of minutes, it's like people make mistakes
- 55:13that. Yeah, bluepo is other than like you had to be there.
- 55:15Yeah, sometimes, yeah, I can see that. I mean the best
- 55:19blooper is I think from Rush Hour too. Oh yeah, where keeps calling
- 55:24Jackie chan Jackie or keep calling him chan And it's the one where Jackie runs
- 55:29in with the gun and he says, geez, I said a freeze.
- 55:34I'm thinking of another one. Okay, yeah, I know the one you're
- 55:36thinking enough. Yeah, I don Chele is like the man's name is Lee.
- 55:40Incredibly frustrated, but I just like the work. Geez. I'm pretty
- 55:45sure. He says, cheers that a freeze. It's fucking great and they're
- 55:49laughing and he doesn't know why they laughing. That's that's what makes it great.
- 55:51But also one of the best blueber reels of all time. Yes,
- 55:54anyway, not for blooper reels. But refuses to be sad. At the
- 55:58funeral, Homer says, I still can't stand him echoes Church of Jerks.
- 56:02And then I was, as a fan of Law and Order appreciated this Marge
- 56:07saying your behavior is heinousus I want to make a mame put on Twitter or
- 56:12whatever saying who watches Law and Order and thinks of the word whenever crime is
- 56:15especially heinous, especially especially when a I'm glad you only want to make that
- 56:21joke every time. We need to grow up. Cecil has a chat hit
- 56:27the Bark and he talks about the castles of Italy in France and were in
- 56:30to Spain. Compromises satisfied, but nobody, but says, you talk smart,
- 56:34but you're actually stupid. He says he's going to be scattering in the
- 56:37ashes on the castles of France as the way to get back at Bob.
- 56:40The Millhouses round me shows up with the newspaper. Is that delivery boy?
- 56:45Now, yeah, I got no idea what that was. Just so they
- 56:46can have someone saying my feet hurt. That was literally it, because that's
- 56:51the clue that makes Lisa realize who is So he shows but the paper showing
- 56:53that he's basically hated by the town. Milhouse says, dads, take me
- 56:57to the batting cage, is going to teach me to be an umpire,
- 56:59which nothing, but then leaves him alone, runs off to the funeral home
- 57:04and just custom Millhouse delivering paper at the Simpson's house. So you're two weeks
- 57:07due, you have pay. It was weird, I feel episode. He
- 57:10says my feet are killing me, and then Lista realizes, oh my god,
- 57:14feet feet killing That's gonna be such a bubbies. That's how she came
- 57:17to that conclusion. I don't know that she realizes the cast big shoes to
- 57:22fill. As you remember an episode, you probably remember Crusty gets busted from
- 57:25season one. That's how they catch such a Bob for framing Krusty because Homer
- 57:30stood on his foot and he says, our but Crusty a small feet,
- 57:34he said, got big shoes to fill. If you're a fan of everything

- 58:07of the casco as Bart was saying, he's he's farewell and his apologic is
- 58:09going to be cremated. He throws Bart into the coffin and starts cremation process
- 58:15very slowly, gloating speed. That's right, gloating. I trying to remember
- 58:19what I liked that because it's just you watch a movie and it's like,
- 58:22just get it done. What are you gloating for? What are you talking
- 58:25about it? There's what he did to gloat to you. There's an audience
- 58:30watching. I love how the Incredibles did that, you know, took the
- 58:34piss out of that Ba saying, and he started monologuing, yes, listen,
- 58:37explains on the way this was good, as you were saying earlier.
- 58:39He don't yet. In Circle of the Funeral over for ten minutes, and
- 58:43then Bart pretends that he's found a trapdoor doesn't work, and Bob's family arrives,
- 58:47and Bob turns it from gloating speed. Because of Simpsons arrife as well,
- 58:50Bob turns from gloating speed to kill him already, and then Homer stops
- 58:53him by doing what can you remember? His hobo ashes at him, unclaimed
- 59:00ashes, and this is so they say, they save Bart and Bhomer says
- 59:07he he's got to get over his fear of coffins. Now that is a
- 59:10callback to Tennis the Menace. Remember the tennis episode, oh, the one
- 59:15yeah, with all the tennis players. Yeah, and of all the episodes,
- 59:17right, this is so bizarre to me. Right, So the kids
- 59:22said to me yesterday on to put the Simpsons on, I'm not sure.
- 59:23They picked Tennis the Menace. And then there's this call both at tennis and
- 59:27I'm like, what are the odds? Incredible? And they loved Tennis.
- 59:32They thought it was I'm just like, okay, cool, look that they
- 59:35didn't know. They didn't grow up with the Simpson They have the nostalgia connection
- 59:37that they just enjoy any episode of the Simpsons. I thought, this is
- 59:40nice. We need to stub viewing the world through a child's eyes once again.
- 59:44Definitely, yes so and again know I mentioned Inside Out too on our
- 59:50on our South Part podcast yesterday as we're recording them. It's worth checking out
- 59:53because it's basically what it does. It reminds you as classic picks are reminding
- 59:57you. You know, when you're an adult, you forget to sort of
- 1:00:00appreciate the little things like a rock. There's a rock there, the sun's
- 1:00:04setting. Just appreciated the clouds, like Ali goes, look at the clouds.
- 1:00:08I'm like, yeah, okay, cool, it's fucking incredible clouds.
- 1:00:15It's okay to appreciate little shit like that, you know. Oh god,
- 1:00:16yeah, No. I had a story but I won't tell. Okay,
- 1:00:22but we all grow up, hopefully, lost of us don't unfortunately. But
- 1:00:25you know, if you grow up, but you can still be a child
- 1:00:29at heart, you know, maintain a child's wonder at the at the wonder
- 1:00:32of the world. Yeah. I watched light Year. It's the other the
- 1:00:37land. Isn't it a little It's not a kids movie at all? No,
- 1:00:40no, over Elliott, but but it is, but it's not Alliott
- 1:00:45watched it and I said, did you like? And he goes, yeah,
- 1:00:49Normally his super pumped come in the movies. It didn't. I can
- 1:00:52tell he's a bit bored. Yeah. It's very it's very dark and gloomy.
- 1:00:55And well, certainly the first half, I mean that all that stuff
- 1:00:59with I mean spoilers for light Year, but I still don't even really spoilers.
- 1:01:02I mean to escape trying to escape from this planet, and you know,
- 1:01:07he loses like how many years, like ten four years every time he
- 1:01:10does a loop. Yeah. Yeah, so eventually his friend's gone. Yeah
- 1:01:15yeah. I thought initially it was like, oh that's actually this is kind
- 1:01:17of moving in some ways. But the second half, where he's got the
- 1:01:22all new team, one of them is tigaway Tz doing the same old stick.
- 1:01:25It's like, that's the same old stick here. Yeah, And I
- 1:01:28was like, okay, I'm losing interest in this now. Initially I thought
- 1:01:31this isn't too bad, but it sorry to mention The Incredibles twice in like
- 1:01:36five minutes. It's like, this should be this should be more like The
- 1:01:39Incredibles, but then most movies should. I think light Year will be looked
- 1:01:44upon more fondly in like ten years maybe. Yeah, you know it was
- 1:01:47good light Yeah that wasn't when you say it'll be looked upon favorably. And
- 1:01:53he's like, by me, that's it, Like, what are you talking
- 1:01:58about? But basically the bart here by taking out that was the reference to
- 1:02:01Tennis miss because in the episode, Bark gets locked in the coffin and home's
- 1:02:05watching it on picture and picture. Oh yes, that's trying to get out.
- 1:02:07Apparently apparently it was a call back to that. Anyway, gets arrested
- 1:02:10and we can say, is you have the right to remain silent, but
- 1:02:13I hope you're not because it's a long way to the station, like you
- 1:02:15tipchat, Lisa explains that the coffin had room for feet while they by They're
- 1:02:20investing all that money for someone who was dead, and Bart says, you
- 1:02:23stick like my butt. I was like, who the fuck wrote that?
- 1:02:28What was that compared that to back me away eight toys? Whatever the fuck
- 1:02:36is what is going on here? The only excuse that I can offer,
- 1:02:39the reason that I can offer, is that Bob Bart's nemesis is sober,
- 1:02:44both so articulate, so eloquent, and Bart can only reply with just the
- 1:02:49most childish school yard burns. Yeah, I guess, but it's still not
- 1:02:54funny. It wasn't funny at all. How does it? How's it the
- 1:03:00episodes with a celebration party, Bob birth out of the cake, SUTs ken
- 1:03:01everybody. It turns out to be a dream the family now or sharing a
- 1:03:05sealer there for eighty seven years. I think it is anything like that.
- 1:03:07Yes, and they're all playing bridge, a card game of some kinds bridge,
- 1:03:12and but Snake hits them with three clubs. The joke's not funny and
- 1:03:15the bit is not sufficient. Yes, so one of the weaker Sociobob episodes.
- 1:03:21For sure. This was nowhere near the level of the Italian Bob wasn't
- 1:03:23even Cape fear. No, that's how I feel about that. Well,
- 1:03:27you like capeed like a rat bit, Yeah that's true. But Italian Bob,
- 1:03:30but I'm doing my heel turn. Well it's normally on my baby face.
- 1:03:35The Italian Bob was really, really fun. I really enjoyed the Italian
- 1:03:37it was. Indeed, I'm a little annoyed they didn't bring back Maria Grazzi.
- 1:03:43It's probably a complete mispronunciation and butchering of that actor's name. And she
- 1:03:45didn't speaking this episode. Did she did not? Or we didn't have?
- 1:03:50Did Geno say something? Nothing shame but you did get the reunion of the
- 1:03:57core cast. It is to be some of reference to Fraser here. Who
- 1:04:01voiced who voiced? What was the name? Dolores? And satellite Tress?
- 1:04:04I think yeah, should have Perry Gilpin in, Yeah, God rolls in
- 1:04:09or Babe new with and why didn't he have a dog? So just little
- 1:04:17things, the little things, just some some sort of Fraser reference. Was
- 1:04:21the actor dog named Eddie and the character named Moose? Or was it they
- 1:04:25were the other way around? That Eddie was the dog in the ship.
- 1:04:27Eddie was the dog and the dog but the dog actor was Moose? But
- 1:04:30when did he passed away? For years ago. Now everyone's real sad.
- 1:04:32Yeah, I know another another victim, the Herald of Fenton. What do
- 1:04:38we learn, Bomber? What did you have for the episode? Is the
- 1:04:41Davis? We need commercials, we need television ads? Yes, like right
- 1:04:45now, Yes, the commercials. I mean they we had a really good
- 1:04:53ecosystem going. Yeah in terms of you know, you didn't necessarily have to
- 1:04:57pay attention to them, but they put money. My favorite saying no bucks,
- 1:05:00no buck Rogers. This is the thing though, I talked about south
- 1:05:03By Studios on to you the other day. I said, Oh, he's
- 1:05:06to do is watching it? I want watch an ad Like that's the fucking
- 1:05:11same thing. Yeah, I'm make your mind out. I am larger contained
- 1:05:15multitudes. It's just I don't mind. I'm so used to that because we
- 1:05:19saw sometimes stream things through foxtail and they occasionally put like a thirty second AD
- 1:05:23in between whether the normally would be an AD break, And I'm like,
- 1:05:25I don't mind this. Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I
- 1:05:27mean, admittedly, I do throw down fifteen dollars a month to get YouTube
- 1:05:30premium, so no AD. I do that because YouTube, I think for
- 1:05:33me, the kids canna be watching something on YouTube, I don't want ads
- 1:05:35popping up the fright and center correct. And if I'm listening to music on
- 1:05:39YouTube, the most annoying interviews on YouTube is nothing more annoying for me watching
- 1:05:43listen to interviews in every five minutes, it's just an ad Ford fucking square
- 1:05:45space. True. The thing of it is now with television commercials, I'm
- 1:05:49so free to wear television because there's not as many because people are scanning through
- 1:05:54them. We've got that dreadful thing where you would think they would have to
- 1:05:58make the ads more eye catching and interesting. Said, they're not. They're
- 1:06:00so ship there, they're so dull. Yeah, and I find now nicol
- 1:06:03and maybe it's just the way they operate the system on at ten plus whatever,
- 1:06:06but we stream have you been paying attention? Right? And then they
- 1:06:11put the ads on. It's like the saying three ads over and over and
- 1:06:13over again. Sometimes they play the same ad back to back. Yes,
- 1:06:15and that has a real negative impact for me. I'm thinking, this is
- 1:06:17annoying me. I'm not gonna buy if I saw your ad once every commercial
- 1:06:21break, maybe, but back to back it's like get away from me,
- 1:06:25get away from you? And by the way, guys, the rest of
- 1:06:29this episode will be commercial free, fantastic. What did you learn from the
- 1:06:35Guy Davis New Name Championship? That's what we learned. Forward your names will
- 1:06:41be the current leaderboard stands at this mister Davis, can you remember whos number
- 1:06:45one? I don't think it was Philip was a Philip jas number one.
- 1:06:51First position is Jared Hornby on nine points, Adamlehouse on eight points and second,
- 1:06:57and Clever Kyle and Phil Hawkins equal third on seven points. Take it
- 1:07:00away, okay, then one point goes too dearly debuted. Not bad.
- 1:07:06That is Talia Enriquez her first point for the season. Welcome back to the
- 1:07:12board. Good job Tellia. Two points for Bob the bewilder A man.
- 1:07:17Jared Horne is climing further away, now eleven points. At the moment as
- 1:07:20it currently stands, he's now on eleven points, three clear of Adam Willhouse,
- 1:07:24who's on eight points second, and who gets the three points. We
- 1:07:26see what happens when we give three points to six feet blunder. That is
- 1:07:33Oh no, it's another newbie to the leaderboard. It is Brian Hughes.
- 1:07:36Well, I'm Brian hugh'sy Hughes. Pretty sure Brian is a big fan of
- 1:07:41the south Park podcast. I believe. I'm pretty sure he's always saying south
- 1:07:45Park. That's that's my that's my thing, that's his jam, that's his
- 1:07:46jam. So he's just got three points. Well on, Brian, what
- 1:07:48a way to kick off, getting too leaboard three points well, straight out
- 1:07:51of the gate. So he's now somewhere three points with David Mott in the
- 1:07:58leaderboard, scattered down towards the bottom there, but first position now Jared Hornby
- 1:08:01three clear of the on top eleven points, Adam Morehouse on eight and second
- 1:08:06and clever Kyle Phil Hawkins on seven points each in third position. I think
- 1:08:11film's ever going to get that j back. Well, he's four points behind
- 1:08:15now. I feel like this was the first time in a long while he's
- 1:08:16never had points. I reckon the bum hoole. The enus enis will be
- 1:08:23sort of like what's it called when your you're nervous, you clenched, clenched?
- 1:08:27Yeah, but oh shit, I was wondering where you were going this.
- 1:08:29I was like, I was like doing the visual of the anus.
- 1:08:30I'm like, what does that mean? Butthole and aus a lot. Why,
- 1:08:35well, you know you mentioned it eating things later. That's true,
- 1:08:42salad fiend. I'll just let's just stop talking about that now. An episode
- 1:08:48that you know I probably would have ever review this, reviewed this again.
- 1:08:51The kids will eventually at some point, assuming but it was a terrible test.
- 1:08:56It was a week episode for Bob in My thing is when you've had
- 1:09:00things like Cape Fear and you know, the old ones in the nineties,
- 1:09:02it's hard. The Italian Bob was like two seasons ago, and it wasn't
- 1:09:06too bad that I pretty good, really enjoyed the Italian Bob. So this
- 1:09:10one was just a bit of a step down for sure. But the next
- 1:09:13episode of season nineteen we shall be reviewing will be Eternal Moonshine of The Simpson
- 1:09:15Mind. Fantastic episode. All right, I remember this it's a Christmas episode,
- 1:09:19but it's not Christmas e but I remember the ending being a great payoff.
- 1:09:24Well, we're going to be talking about it pretty soon, Yes,
