- 0:19Speaker 1: It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:24Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan, o'melly along with Trey
- 0:28Speaker 1: Trenholm and Raj Sharman. Today is Monday, June second, two
- 0:36Speaker 1: thy twenty five. I don't know if this is a
- 0:44Speaker 1: good sign or a bad sign as a celebrity. But
- 0:47Speaker 1: once you start selling your own used bathwater, do you
- 0:52Speaker 1: see that as a sign as having made it or
- 0:56Speaker 1: that you've missed it? How much will they That's a
- 1:01Speaker 1: good question.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Not who is it? Just how much money do they getting?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Well, I mean, yeah, who is it?
- 1:13Speaker 4: But if you're selling it, if you're selling it for
- 1:16Speaker 4: a dollar an ounce, maybe that's one thing. If you're
- 1:18Speaker 4: getting one hundred an ounce, you know that's yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 2: But people are into weird stuff, so you want to
- 1:24Speaker 2: ask who is it first and how much because it
- 1:27Speaker 2: could be like Ada, I mean.
- 1:32Speaker 3: That should go for thousands.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's hard to get. He's dead, yeah, which means
- 1:40Speaker 1: you have to go looking for that.
- 1:42Speaker 4: If you if you were on Barney Miller and you're
- 1:44Speaker 4: selling your bathwater.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Maybe we're Maybe we should start up a celebrity line
- 1:51Speaker 1: of used bathwater, starting with the legendary Abagda.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Tapping it off with a delightful Steve Chummy.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Sydney Sweeney is getting into the used bathwater market
- 2:13Speaker 1: Doctor Squatch, which is a soap company that I've seen
- 2:17Speaker 1: a lot on social media. Now that I've said the
- 2:19Speaker 1: name out loud, I'm going to get hit with more
- 2:21Speaker 1: ads for it. Doctor Squatch is ready to bring some
- 2:25Speaker 1: people's fantasies to life with a limited edition with a
- 2:29Speaker 1: limited edition soap infused with Sydney Sweeney's bathwater. The bar
- 2:35Speaker 1: is creatively called Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, and it allegedly smells
- 2:41Speaker 1: like pine Douglas fir and earthy moss.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Just what you would.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Hope Sidney Sweeney's ass would smell like earthy moss, or,
- 2:54Speaker 1: as Doctor Squatch describes it, morning would m so clever.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Yeah, And you know that's the the sad fact is,
- 3:07Speaker 2: there's a huge market for weird stuff like this. It's
- 3:12Speaker 2: there's women that sell their underwear. There's women that sell
- 3:15Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff and and and make a fortune
- 3:18Speaker 2: at it because men are degenerates.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yes we are. I mean to me that that is
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Trey, go ahead.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That's capitalizing on the only fans craze without being on
- 3:31Speaker 4: only fans.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's that's just that's the first of all, soap is
- 3:37Speaker 2: a gateway to OnlyFans.
- 3:38Speaker 4: What this is about, which when she sees how much
- 3:43Speaker 4: money she can make.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's there's.
- 3:48Speaker 3: A real truth.
- 3:49Speaker 4: That's just if you're a young, hot female, I mean,
- 3:56Speaker 4: and all of a sudden you go and even especially
- 3:59Speaker 4: with her with a little bit of fame already, if
- 4:03Speaker 4: you have someone punch the numbers and go, you know.
- 4:07Speaker 3: You could one year on OnlyFans and retire.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah, well off, yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's a I think it was on TMZ.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It was some adult film star that was not on OnlyFans,
- 4:23Speaker 2: but she was. She was putting, she was panning her
- 4:28Speaker 2: own farts and selling them, and that was making tons
- 4:32Speaker 2: of money for her.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Well this is not that, No, yeah, this is class
- 4:39Speaker 1: Sidney Sweeney would probably make money on that as well.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Sydney says they were doing so they were doing a
- 4:45Speaker 1: photo shoot with Doctor Squatch, and she says, when we
- 4:48Speaker 1: were at the Doctor Squatch photo shoot, they had a
- 4:52Speaker 1: bathtub for me and I actually got in there and
- 4:54Speaker 1: I took some soap and we had a nice little
- 4:56Speaker 1: bath and they took the water, so it's my real bathwater,
- 5:00Speaker 1: she said. I wanted to have it lean towards my
- 5:02Speaker 1: home roots. So there's this really outdoorsy scent of like
- 5:06Speaker 1: pine and earthy moss and fur fir. Don't get crazy,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and she adds, so what smells super manly. But then
- 5:16Speaker 1: there's some city bathwater mixed in, not Sydney bathwater, city
- 5:22Speaker 1: bathwater mixed in.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she's very self aware. She knows that. As she says,
- 5:32Speaker 1: fans always joke about wanting my bathwater. I was like,
- 5:35Speaker 1: you know what, this is just a cool way to
- 5:38Speaker 1: have a conversation with the audience and give them what
- 5:42Speaker 1: they want. No, that's not what they want. What they
- 5:44Speaker 1: want is to be in the bath with you, back
- 5:49Speaker 1: to what she says. She says, but then also hopefully
- 5:51Speaker 1: encourage them to take care of themselves in a healthy way.
- 5:55Speaker 1: That's not healthy, Sydney aithing and someone else else's bathwater
- 6:01Speaker 1: is not healthy. It's actually the definition of dirty. Yes,
- 6:07Speaker 1: there's a reason why we drain the tub after each use.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where the the phrase throw the baby out
- 6:16Speaker 2: with the bathwater. It's because back in the day it
- 6:18Speaker 2: would be one tub of bathwater, and the father would
- 6:23Speaker 2: go first, and then the mother, and then the kids,
- 6:25Speaker 2: and then the last one would be the baby. And
- 6:27Speaker 2: it would be so diluted and polluted and filthy that
- 6:32Speaker 2: sometimes they would forget the baby was in there.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So don't throw the baby out with the bathwater is
- 6:38Speaker 2: where that comes from. So yeah, but I mean it
- 6:40Speaker 2: goes back to guys going I'm bathing in her.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So as you're looking to snag your very own bar
- 6:48Speaker 1: of Sydney Sweeney's bathwater, there will be a limited supply
- 6:51Speaker 1: sold for just eight dollars each online June sixth.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I just want to tell you the discipline you said
- 7:01Speaker 2: eight dollars, the disappointment that washed over trade washed over
- 7:05Speaker 2: trade space when he's like, that's it, Like they crunch
- 7:08Speaker 2: those numbers and it came down to eight dollars.
- 7:10Speaker 1: They also say you can enter a raffle and be
- 7:12Speaker 1: one of one hundred lucky winners in case you don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: want to fork over the eight dollars.
- 7:17Speaker 3: She clearly needs new representation.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that should be a hard firing once she got
- 7:25Speaker 1: the contract that was already pre approved for eight bucks each,
- 7:28Speaker 1: because you know she's not getting all one hundred percent
- 7:31Speaker 1: of Uh.
- 7:32Speaker 2: You know, Squatch is getting some of that.
- 7:35Speaker 1: This gets a lot of that.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Squatches double dip it.

- 9:23Speaker 1: Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Gentlemen,
- 9:27Speaker 1: we have to write a major wrong here inside the
- 9:30Speaker 1: Treehouse today. Today is Monday, June second, twenty twenty five,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and we unfortunately missed a massive, massive piece of news
- 9:42Speaker 1: on Friday's show that we just haphazardly ignored. So, Raj,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I need to apologize to you and your people or
- 9:52Speaker 1: forgetting to announce and discuss the twenty twenty five scripts
- 9:58Speaker 1: National Spelling Bee that crowned its champion on Thursday night.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I apologize that we did not cover it in the
- 10:06Speaker 1: Friday show. So I'm hoping we can write that wrong
- 10:09Speaker 1: now on Monday.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't want to bring it up. It hurt
- 10:13Speaker 2: too bad.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Well, I hope that enough time has passed. So now
- 10:17Speaker 1: we can enjoy the moment that the winner of the
- 10:20Speaker 1: twenty twenty five Scripts National Spelling Bee was crowned this
- 10:25Speaker 1: past Thursday night.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Hello doctor baby, Hi Faison. So if you spell this
- 10:33Speaker 8: next word correctly, we will decline.
- 10:36Speaker 1: This is Faison Zaki. He is thirteen years of age
- 10:40Speaker 1: in seventh grade at Rice Middle School in our very
- 10:44Speaker 1: own Allen, Texas.
- 10:46Speaker 8: There are you, the champion of the historic one hundredth
- 10:50Speaker 8: year of the Script's National Spelling Bee. Now let's all
- 10:54Speaker 8: of us take a deep breath.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I did not help it all.
- 11:01Speaker 8: Smile well, a certain pacing would help to follow. Yeah, okay,
- 11:14Speaker 8: your word is.
- 11:17Speaker 9: A clar C small A clar small e c l
- 11:21Speaker 9: A I R c I S s E M E
- 11:28Speaker 9: n T.
- 11:28Speaker 10: If that is correct, Congratulations face on Saki, you are
- 11:40Speaker 10: the twenty twenty five Scripts Natural Spelling Beat Champion. Somebody
- 11:46Speaker 10: peel him off the floor.
- 11:48Speaker 11: We have a winner, a champion, and Script's CEO Adam
- 11:51Speaker 11: Sixton will now present the tropata.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Fason congratulations based on and then they hid behind him.
- 11:59Speaker 2: The kid behind him that came in second places will
- 12:02Speaker 2: never be seen or heard from again.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Not so fast, mister, Sharma because the reason why young
- 12:08Speaker 1: Faison knows the judge is there at the Script's National
- 12:12Speaker 1: Spelling Bee so well and they're so familiar with one
- 12:14Speaker 1: another is because he was the runner up last year.
- 12:20Speaker 1: So congratulations to Young Faisan Zaki, thirteen years old out
- 12:25Speaker 1: of Allen Texas twenty twenty five Script's National Spelling Bee champion.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I believe he would be like number four, number five
- 12:32Speaker 2: from North Texas. Yeah, there's a couple that are from
- 12:37Speaker 2: South Lake.
- 12:38Speaker 3: At this point, is the spelling Bee like is it
- 12:45Speaker 3: gonna be?
- 12:45Speaker 4: Is it like the BA men's basketball in the Olympics
- 12:47Speaker 4: for the United States like it would? It's just taken
- 12:51Speaker 4: for granted and then maybe one day there'll be a
- 12:53Speaker 4: shocking upset.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, there was about four years ago there was a
- 12:58Speaker 2: non Indian that won. We call her a reg a regular,
- 13:04Speaker 2: and we slipped. It's like that one time when Slovakia
- 13:08Speaker 2: beat the US by like like by thirteen points. They're like, okay, guys,
- 13:13Speaker 2: let's regroup. We thought this was going to be easy,
- 13:15Speaker 2: and then since then it's just been US dominating. So yeah,
- 13:20Speaker 2: we messed up one time, trick we let one slide
- 13:23Speaker 2: and her answer, But.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I would like to point out that as a very
- 13:28Speaker 1: as a struggling Cowboys fan, this is a franchise I
- 13:32Speaker 1: can support because of the anger I still feel towards
- 13:35Speaker 1: the Dallas Mavericks and what they've done this season. This
- 13:39Speaker 1: is a This is a community that I can throw
- 13:41Speaker 1: my fandom behind, and that is the Indians of North
- 13:45Speaker 1: Texas and their spelling bee prowess.
- 13:48Speaker 2: This.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Yes, this, my friends, this is a dynasty and we're
- 13:51Speaker 1: all witnessing it.
- 13:52Speaker 3: We're all in the middle of it.
- 13:53Speaker 1: We're not even appreciating the level of domination that is
- 13:58Speaker 1: happening at the Scripts Nash spelling Bee.
- 14:00Speaker 3: This is.
- 14:01Speaker 1: This is a bigger dynasty than the Cowboys of the nineties.
- 14:03Speaker 1: This is a bigger dynasty than the Patriots. This may
- 14:06Speaker 1: be a bigger dynasty than the Celtics.
- 14:09Speaker 2: And you guys have seen the video of the Indian
- 14:11Speaker 2: kid that passes out during the spelling I talk about
- 14:13Speaker 2: it on stage all the time, one of my favorites. Yes,
- 14:16Speaker 2: So he then gets back up spells the word correctly,
- 14:19Speaker 2: because that's what you do when you're trained, when you're
- 14:22Speaker 2: a trained soldier. It's either that or the cyanide pill
- 14:25Speaker 2: that was under his lapel, he's got to chew that.
- 14:29Speaker 2: When they cut to his.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Sad thing is that kid gets his word and then
- 14:32Speaker 1: you could just see his eyes start to roll and
- 14:35Speaker 1: we all assumed that it was because he didn't know
- 14:37Speaker 1: how to spell it, but in actuality, it was because
- 14:40Speaker 1: all the blood had rushed out of his head and
- 14:42Speaker 1: into his feet.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And then and then he just kind of went, yeah,
- 14:46Speaker 2: he's just kind of rifted over.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And he got up, put some dirt on it, and
- 14:51Speaker 1: spelled his word.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And then he wins. So when they cut to his parents,
- 14:54Speaker 2: you'll see another kid, and then you'll see a little
- 14:57Speaker 2: girl in I think the dad's lap. So when this
- 15:00Speaker 2: kid passes out, he gets back up, spells the word.
- 15:02Speaker 2: He wins the spelling bee. The next year, the boy
- 15:06Speaker 2: that was there when they cut to the parents, he's
- 15:08Speaker 2: the one that does the the uh, the does brian X.
- 15:13Speaker 2: That's the brother. Two years later, the sister wins. So
- 15:18Speaker 2: all three in that house are spelling me champions. They're
- 15:20Speaker 2: from South Lake.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Has there been any age, you know, questions yet, because honestly,
- 15:30Speaker 4: that kid that just won it, I mean if he
- 15:32Speaker 4: wrote me a script, I wouldn't blink twice.
- 15:36Speaker 1: You mean for drugs if he was a doctor. He's
- 15:39Speaker 1: a doctor.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. People, I'm like, you guys need to realize,
- 15:45Speaker 2: like those are all mensa kids. Those are all doogie howsers,
- 15:49Speaker 2: just brown.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Actually tray all those kids at the National
- 15:52Speaker 1: Spelling Bee that win. They're smarter than the doctors that
- 15:55Speaker 1: prescribe us our drugs.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like.
- 15:58Speaker 3: They look at he looks older than seventh grade. I'm
- 16:00Speaker 3: just saying. I mean.
- 16:03Speaker 2: The guy behind him, the kid that came in second,
- 16:05Speaker 2: it's clearly thirty six.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Look, the Dominicans have baseball, the Indians get spelled against.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Just how it goes.

- 17:01Speaker 1: He's Trey that right there is mister Raj Sharma. And
- 17:05Speaker 1: Raj you said there was an interesting factoid from National
- 17:09Speaker 1: Spelling Bee passed you were going to share with us?
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a few years ago. I actually talked
- 17:14Speaker 2: about it on stage. There was a four way or
- 17:17Speaker 2: I think it was a four way or five way
- 17:19Speaker 2: tie because the spelling Bee was going on so long
- 17:22Speaker 2: because the kids kept getting all the words correct U
- 17:26Speaker 2: and so they were like, whoever this last? This is
- 17:28Speaker 2: the last word because they couldn't find words hard enough
- 17:31Speaker 2: for these kids to spell. They ran out of words like,
- 17:33Speaker 2: that's how brilliant these kids are. And it was four
- 17:36Speaker 2: Indian kids and one white girl from Kentucky, which was
- 17:40Speaker 2: really good news because we found out there's one person
- 17:43Speaker 2: in Kentucky that can spell. So that was that was
- 17:46Speaker 2: the upside. Yeah, so was it was it? It?
- 17:50Speaker 1: Did it end up being like a five way champion?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Yes? They each got the eighty thousand dollars scholarship, so
- 17:56Speaker 2: it was the largest prize ever given out at four
- 17:58Speaker 2: hundred thousand dollars.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Well that's good because I was afraid they were all
- 18:02Speaker 1: going to have to split it and then all those
- 18:03Speaker 1: parents were going to be pissed.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, the Indian parents are going to split that. Oh no, no, no,
- 18:10Speaker 2: that it would have been a blood bath they knew better.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Well, I would like to thank you Raj for being
- 18:16Speaker 1: so forgiving in the fact that we forgot to mention
- 18:19Speaker 1: the twenty twenty five Spelling Bee champion on Friday Show,
- 18:22Speaker 1: but then we righted that wrong.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Today you guys have any night we have faise on.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Well, I'd also like to thank you for taking us
- 18:31Speaker 1: down memory lane when it comes to the Spelling Bee
- 18:33Speaker 1: a handful of years, because that opens the door to
- 18:36Speaker 1: take us even further back in time in the script's
- 18:40Speaker 1: National Spelling Bee history, and that takes us to the
- 18:44Speaker 1: year two thousand and seven, in which one of the
- 18:46Speaker 1: most infamous scripts National Spelling Bee words was ever given.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Oh yes, I do know.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Nigus.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Oh poor Andrew Lay. Andrew Lay twelve years old from Stanley,
- 19:09Speaker 1: North Carolina. This poor, poor white kid. You know, they
- 19:14Speaker 1: had that word in an envelope in a special stack,
- 19:18Speaker 1: just waiting for the one white kid on the stage
- 19:22Speaker 1: to deliver that word to make him spell. And this
- 19:24Speaker 1: is the word that poor Andrew Lay got.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Nigus negus. What's the language of origin Ethiopian to Amharic?
- 19:40Speaker 2: God?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Why did it have to be Africa?
- 19:44Speaker 8: What is the definition a king? It's used as a
- 19:48Speaker 8: title of the sovereign of Ethiopia.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Nigus nicasuse the sentence.
- 20:00Speaker 2: A commercial right here.
- 20:02Speaker 1: At this moment where the kid looks around and goes like, man,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I just I don't I don't want to be here anymore.
- 20:09Speaker 2: That's when he's looking at his dad, like you use
- 20:11Speaker 2: that word a lot.
- 20:12Speaker 8: Yeah, it's ruled Ethiopia until the coup of nineteen seventy four.
- 20:20Speaker 5: US.
- 20:25Speaker 1: He looks around the room for any amount of help. Sorry, man,
- 20:28Speaker 1: all the white people have left the building.
- 20:30Speaker 2: But he's also like, he's got that look like when
- 20:33Speaker 2: and I've seen this before when white people go to
- 20:35Speaker 2: tell a joke like let me see if anybody I'm
- 20:37Speaker 2: about to fend his in this room, or if.
- 20:40Speaker 9: You're a.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Or if you're singing along to an NWA song in
- 20:45Speaker 1: the car with the windows down and you want to
- 20:47Speaker 1: look around first before you sing along with it.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Look you make when you get the new ice Cube album.
- 21:08Speaker 1: How they how they didn't turn this into a Southwest
- 21:11Speaker 1: Airlines commercial where they go, boom, you want to get away?
- 21:15Speaker 2: I just like how he was riding on the back
- 21:16Speaker 2: of the little placard that he has and if he
- 21:18Speaker 2: would have turned it around and it just said help.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Could you seriously, seriously, guys, could you repeat the definition.
- 21:34Speaker 3: A king.
- 21:35Speaker 8: It's used as a title of the sovereign of Ethiopia.
- 21:38Speaker 12: Negus this, he said, vegus And did you say the
- 21:53Speaker 12: word loudly for the judges.
- 21:56Speaker 5: One more times? Nigas n e g us niggas.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Absolutely stun I love that the look on his face
- 22:24Speaker 1: for them saying that he got the word spelled correctly.
- 22:26Speaker 1: He is absolutely stunned, shocked, amazed. Oh, said, he'll take it.
- 22:35Speaker 1: They even show his parents in the crowd. Dad sticks
- 22:37Speaker 1: his tongue out like, like, who that was close, because
- 22:40Speaker 1: that's definitely not how Grandpa spells it.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Who is the lady that turned around to congratulate the parents,
- 22:48Speaker 2: Like that's kind of funny too, Like he got it,
- 22:50Speaker 2: thank god, this.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Absolutely stun said, he'll take it. You're right. I forgot
- 23:00Speaker 1: about the lady in the front row that turns around
- 23:02Speaker 1: to the family, going hey, he got it, and the
- 23:04Speaker 1: lady looking back they're like, where as shocked as you are.
- 23:08Speaker 2: In my mind, Like I would have loved it, Like
- 23:10Speaker 2: he spelled it right, and you cut to the parents,
- 23:12Speaker 2: but behind him. You just see police officers walking out
- 23:15Speaker 2: like cool, we don't We're not needed today.
- 23:20Speaker 1: All clear, everybody, all clear.
- 23:22Speaker 2: We're a code for we can go home now. But
- 23:25Speaker 2: if that was like the comedic moment for me, like
- 23:28Speaker 2: when you walk up and it's like all right, here's
- 23:30Speaker 2: your word, negus and he just walks off, He's like, no,
- 23:33Speaker 2: I'm not even doing that. Not today, homies, not today.
- 23:38Speaker 2: You ain't taking this kid down.
- 23:40Speaker 3: I feel like he had missed it. He would have
- 23:42Speaker 3: been the Ray Finkle of the spelling Bee.

- 24:38Speaker 1: the Treehouse Show for Monday, June second, twenty twenty five.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Every relationship is a little bit different, Trey. In your relationships,
- 24:50Speaker 1: do you and your significant others do you fart in
- 24:53Speaker 1: front of one one another. No, Raj. What about you
- 24:57Speaker 1: and your relationships? Do you go toot in front of
- 25:00Speaker 1: one another?
- 25:00Speaker 2: No?
- 25:01Speaker 1: All right, well that's kind of the same here. That's
- 25:03Speaker 1: not something that we really let fly in the O'Malley
- 25:06Speaker 1: house either, So it's interesting we're all having that in common.
- 25:10Speaker 1: It's important to keep this in mind, though, if you
- 25:13Speaker 1: find yourselves in a new relationship where she wants to
- 25:15Speaker 1: go toot around you, it may not be physically safe.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Here's the evidence that you need to back it up.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:24Speaker 1: A woman spent seven years suffering from relentless sinus infections
- 25:29Speaker 1: that baffled medical professionals until they took culture samples from
- 25:34Speaker 1: her nose and finally cracked the case. The culprit of
- 25:38Speaker 1: her sinus infections E coli. How did she get it?
- 25:43Speaker 1: Her ex Christine Connell, took to tech talk and said,
- 25:48Speaker 1: E coli is from poop? How does that get in
- 25:52Speaker 1: your sinuses unless you have a boyfriend who farts disgustingly
- 25:55Speaker 1: and you are forced to inhale it because you are
- 25:58Speaker 1: immobile after ankle surgery, That's what she said. In a
- 26:02Speaker 1: later update, Connall said that she and her former boyfriend
- 26:06Speaker 1: were hold up in a hotel room with two queen
- 26:10Speaker 1: sized beds while she recovered from an operation. She was
- 26:14Speaker 1: already snuggled under the covers when her ex standing naked
- 26:17Speaker 1: between the beds, turned his backside towards her, and she says,
- 26:25Speaker 1: I've never ever ever smelled anything that compares to that.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And because of that, she had a seven year E
- 26:36Speaker 1: Coli infection in her sinuses. So keep that in mind
- 26:40Speaker 1: the next time your significant others says, you know what
- 26:42Speaker 1: we should do to to build intimacy in our relationship
- 26:46Speaker 1: is we should go toot around one another?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Is that something commonly said? I was like, we need
- 26:53Speaker 2: to grow closer together by exchanging methane?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Honestly, I don't know how that converse goes because I've
- 27:00Speaker 1: never had it. Yeah, because look, when you grow up
- 27:04Speaker 1: in the household that I did, when you're either let
- 27:07Speaker 1: some ripped non stop and is unashamed and unabashed about it,
- 27:13Speaker 1: it kind of turns you off of it for future partners.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yes, the same.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Wow, that is so I've never had the conversation
- 27:23Speaker 1: in a relationship. Hey, so do you think our relationship
- 27:26Speaker 1: is strong enough now to tolerate this?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:31Speaker 2: Okay, cola. Interesting that is. I'm glad she's done with
- 27:36Speaker 2: the guy because I mean, the next move up is
- 27:38Speaker 2: pink eye. So like you know, uh yeah, I just gotta.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Mind in case someone ever says, have you ever had
- 27:46Speaker 1: a butterfly kid?
- 27:52Speaker 2: I just uh so, if that was in the cola,
- 27:56Speaker 2: was in her nose, does that smell still resonate? Does
- 27:59Speaker 2: that are they in there? I don't know.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Seven years a group of bacteria commonly found in the
- 28:06Speaker 1: intestinal tracts of healthy humans and animals. That's according to
- 28:09Speaker 1: the CDC. For those of you that's that still trust it.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Most strains of E. Coli are harmless and even beneficial,
- 28:15Speaker 1: aiding digestion, but some strains can cause illness, including diarrhea,
- 28:20Speaker 1: urinary tract infections, pneumonia, sepsis, and, in this young lady's case,
- 28:24Speaker 1: a sinus infection that just wouldn't quit.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Has a Has there been any doctor that confirmed her theory?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what she's She's sharing what the doctors told
- 28:39Speaker 1: her because she kept going to doctors saying, hey, well
- 28:41Speaker 1: you have this I have this problem. The sinus infection
- 28:43Speaker 1: won't go away. They took a culture and found ecoal life.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I mean, did she tell them she was a sniffer.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Well, she blamed the boyfriend. She said that this was uh,
- 28:58Speaker 1: she said, this was an unprovoked gas attack on the
- 29:01Speaker 1: part of her boyfriend.
- 29:03Speaker 3: I mean, if I was doing lines of you know,
- 29:09Speaker 3: I'd want to blame the boyfriend's gas too.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Well, you know it's a different kind of blow.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Well, that's when it's referred to as toot. That's an
- 29:22Speaker 1: old school name.
- 29:23Speaker 3: But you know what it is.

- 30:16Speaker 3: Today.
- 30:17Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's trade. That's RAJ.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Today is Monday, June second, twenty twenty five. Before we
- 30:23Speaker 1: jump into birthdays, Raj, you said you had more questions
- 30:25Speaker 1: about this couple's relationship.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, did she was it a constant thing
- 30:32Speaker 2: over seven years, because it's equal I settling in your
- 30:35Speaker 2: sinuses and through your nostrils, so you'd be able to
- 30:38Speaker 2: blow that you'd be able to blow that bacteria out.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Continue question. Yeah, So we were talking about this young
- 30:44Speaker 1: lady who had seven years of sinus infections. Didn't know
- 30:48Speaker 1: why until finally they did a culture and found ecoli
- 30:51Speaker 1: in her sinuses. She says it could all be sourced
- 30:55Speaker 1: back when she and her boyfriend were in a hotel room.
- 30:58Speaker 1: She was recuperating from surgery from surgery, and he farted
- 31:03Speaker 1: in her face, and that's where it came from. A
- 31:07Speaker 1: little more backstory for you. She believes it was a
- 31:09Speaker 1: perfect story that one was unintentional. She believes it was
- 31:14Speaker 1: a perfect storm of bad timing and bad gas that
- 31:17Speaker 1: made this infection possible. She said she had just had
- 31:19Speaker 1: ankle surgery, so she says, I imagine my immune system
- 31:23Speaker 1: was focused on healing that. I think that maybe in
- 31:26Speaker 1: another circumstance, it would not have happened if I was healthy.
- 31:30Speaker 1: She says, Also, when I say that it was the
- 31:32Speaker 1: worst fart that I've ever smelled in my life, I
- 31:35Speaker 1: truly mean that. She emphasized that her ex was not
- 31:39Speaker 1: trying to blast her on purpose. She said, he was
- 31:43Speaker 1: just getting into bed and my face happened to be
- 31:45Speaker 1: in the path of the fart that was released, so
- 31:49Speaker 1: it was accidental, and as far as we know, the
- 31:52Speaker 1: relationship did not end because of this end.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I don't know about the immune system thing, because after
- 31:59Speaker 2: a surgery they will give you anti inflammatories and an
- 32:01Speaker 2: antibiotic to make sure that you are healing properly. So
- 32:06Speaker 2: there's that. But then it had to be on the
- 32:08Speaker 2: can't be one fart caused seven years of sinus infection.
- 32:12Speaker 2: It had to be maybe like she was asleep and
- 32:14Speaker 2: he would do it for I'm just saying, I don't.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Know, aggressively get back at her for god knows what,
- 32:23Speaker 1: or perhaps Trey said it earlier. And Trey, you may
- 32:28Speaker 1: be right, you said earlier that, well, did she tell
- 32:31Speaker 1: doctors that she was a fart sniffer, because maybe that
- 32:35Speaker 1: is actually the case. She's trying to save face here
- 32:39Speaker 1: by telling the doctors, Oh, it was this one time
- 32:41Speaker 1: that my boyfriend did it. Because as we all know, Raj,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you know this, your mom was a nurse. He lied
- 32:47Speaker 1: to medical professionals all the time because they're embarrassed. So
- 32:51Speaker 1: maybe she concocted this story to hide the fact that
- 32:55Speaker 1: she is a horrific fart sniffer and didn't want to
- 32:58Speaker 1: come clean to the medical staff.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent. Like there was one time in
- 33:03Speaker 2: the er that there was a guy with them. I
- 33:04Speaker 2: think I told you guys this before. There was a
- 33:06Speaker 2: maglight was in his bum, as my mother would say,
- 33:11Speaker 2: and his excuse was, well, I fell on it, and
- 33:15Speaker 2: my mom had to excuse herself before she went into
- 33:17Speaker 2: the nurse's lounge and laughed for fifteen minutes.
- 33:21Speaker 1: That's very kind of your mom, It's very professional. I
- 33:23Speaker 1: feel like if someone comes into your er and claims
- 33:26Speaker 1: they fell onto a maglin and they fell onto a
- 33:29Speaker 1: maglight ass first you get to laugh in their face,
- 33:33Speaker 1: especially if you're the one tasked with pulling it out.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yes, so this has to be like, you know, the
- 33:40Speaker 2: canned forart thing. Maybe she was into that. Maybe she's subscribed.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:46Speaker 1: People are into weird stuff.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Man.
- 33:49Speaker 1: In a follow up TikTok, the young lady revealed that
- 33:52Speaker 1: antibiotics we're not working and now she's likely headed for surgery.
- 33:56Speaker 1: So she still has the ecoli up her nose.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I don't know, there's got to be something else. It
- 34:02Speaker 2: just sounds a little too far fenced and something to
- 34:05Speaker 2: blame for why the relationship fell apart. Maybe he stopped
- 34:10Speaker 2: doing it because she was so addicted to it.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Or maybe he didn't realize that she was into it
- 34:16Speaker 1: and had a fart sniffing addiction. And then he walked
- 34:20Speaker 1: in on a really awkward scene one evening when he
- 34:22Speaker 1: got home early from work.
- 34:26Speaker 3: I don't know if this is going to be funny
- 34:27Speaker 3: or not, but maybe she was just a serial giver.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Mmm, yes, yes, I got I sadly understood that reference.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know you gotta breathe when he's down there.
- 34:44Speaker 3: I guess.
- 34:48Speaker 2: They always say in through the nose, out through your mouth.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Now, I've got a use for this button on my machine.

- 35:49Speaker 1: inside Treehouse Talkback, which will happen on tomorrow's show of
- 35:53Speaker 1: the Treehouse. This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley
- 35:56Speaker 1: along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Monday,
- 36:00Speaker 1: June second, twenty twenty five, a new day that will
- 36:04Speaker 1: live in infamy.
- 36:06Speaker 11: Why tray, because we finally figured out how use for
- 36:10Speaker 11: the rim shot sound effect.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It's been twenty five years, but we finally found it.
- 36:19Speaker 2: We need to listen to thank you other than a
- 36:21Speaker 2: really bad punchline, we got to use for it. I
- 36:24Speaker 2: need to send this lady a thank you cart or
- 36:27Speaker 2: get well soon. I don't know how it works.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Oh all right, one last thing before we uh uh
- 36:38Speaker 1: get out of the Treehouse today as first, and that
- 36:42Speaker 1: is something new has happened in the world. New things
- 36:47Speaker 1: always get lots and lots of attention. So here is
- 36:50Speaker 1: the new term we all need to learn. Thanks to
- 36:54Speaker 1: gen Z and Jen Alpha. Okay, the new term that
- 36:58Speaker 1: we all now have to learn so we can properly
- 37:00Speaker 1: communicate with the younger generations is something called water based cooking.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Water based cooking. It's a new cooking term that has
- 37:09Speaker 1: gone viral on TikTok. Water based cooking, just where you
- 37:15Speaker 1: you know boil water water, otherwise known as boiling. But
- 37:22Speaker 1: the explorers, the adventurers that gen Z and Jen Alpha are,
- 37:26Speaker 1: by god, they feel like they've discovered something for the
- 37:29Speaker 1: first time. I can't wait for them to discover fire
- 37:32Speaker 1: and tell us it's new name.
- 37:35Speaker 3: And I take it. We're not talking about souv No, they're.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Not even going that advanced. Okay, they're just they're just
- 37:43Speaker 1: talking about boiling, steaming, coaching, just cooking and water water
- 37:49Speaker 1: based cooking.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Is this why I saw someone boiling a steak?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yes, that's going to be the reason why blame TikTok
- 37:55Speaker 1: and blame the kids. The latest cooking term is water
- 37:59Speaker 1: based cooking. It's exactly what it sounds like. There's a
- 38:03Speaker 1: video montages showing things being boiled, steamed, and cooked like
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know soups and stews, with the caption you started
- 38:12Speaker 1: water based cooking, and now your skin is clear, your
- 38:15Speaker 1: stomach is thriving, and you recover from illness overnight. Some
- 38:19Speaker 1: claim the methods like boiling, blanching, steaming, or poaching can
- 38:22Speaker 1: reverse aging. Oh goodie. The idea is that this gentler
- 38:27Speaker 1: cooking style avoids unhealthy techniques using oils in high heat,
- 38:31Speaker 1: things like frying, sauteing, baking, air frying, and grilling, which
- 38:34Speaker 1: is supposedly the absolute worst. Obviously, cooking with water is
- 38:38Speaker 1: not new or ground breaking. It's just a different name
- 38:42Speaker 1: for all the other names that we know it by,
- 38:44Speaker 1: which is boiling, steaming, blanching, all that.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's how they've termed. You're not murdered, you're unalived.
- 38:55Speaker 2: That's one of my favorite ones to use. Unlived, and
- 38:58Speaker 2: then you're not homeless anymore, unhoused. That means so that
- 39:03Speaker 2: that's what you're saying is at one moment, as you
- 39:05Speaker 2: were standing on the sidewalk, there was a house and
- 39:10Speaker 2: then there wasn't. So you're you're unhoused. Is that right?
- 39:14Speaker 2: You're unhoused? Okay, I just thought you were addicted to meth.
- 39:17Speaker 2: But no, no, no, unhoused. Yeah, you're you're selling your
- 39:23Speaker 2: mouth for heroin. But no, no, no, no, you're you're unhoused.
- 39:27Speaker 11: Okay, kids, all all the all the advances we've seen
- 39:33Speaker 11: in our lives, and these twats are are mesmerized by
- 39:37Speaker 11: boiling water.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Yes, yes, they're just stare at it for hours.
- 39:52Speaker 2: They're the same kids that are gonna look at fire
- 39:54Speaker 2: and be like he's a witch.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Drowned him and the and the boiling water. For all
- 40:03Speaker 1: things Treehouse, go to Treehouse on air dot com. Be
