  one way or another tonight for this episode, we are going to be

  previewing the entire Big 12 season.

  So I, I don't know if Chef and Matt did this.

  They probably didn't. I definitely did.

  I went through and selected every single game on the Big 12
• 5:21
  slate this season for every single one of the 16 teams and I
• 5:25
  came up with a prediction of who's going to be in the Big 12
• 5:28
  title game in Arlington. We're going to highlight some
• 5:30
  key matchups along the way that catch our eyes for each, you
• 5:35
  know, kind of we'll we'll break the season up into three or four
• 5:38
  different parts here. But let's start off with the non
• 5:42
  conference slate for the Big 12 this year, which before I did
• 5:47
  the CFB road trip with Scott, I didn't really know what was out
• 5:51
  there other than the Dublin game for TCU in North Carolina.
• 5:54
  So it was really cool to see what's on the slate, who's who's
• 5:57
  going where, what games are repeats of last year or a year
• 6:01
  before and which ones aren't. And there are a couple that that
• 6:04
  stand out to me. But before I give what I think
• 6:07
  is, is interesting, I'll, I'll let the two of you share.

  So with with non conference schedule.
• 6:12
  And I know there's a BYU Notre Dame game that happens later in
• 6:16
  the slate. So we won't get to that one just
• 6:18
  yet before the non conference, which is concentrated for the
• 6:21
  first three to four weeks of the season.

  Which non conference game in that first set of games sticks
• 6:27
  out to you most in the Big 12 schedule?

  I mean, I think it's I mean there's not a lot of like
• 6:34
  competitive games that you think like, OK, this is like a marquee
• 6:38
  matchup. I don't know if that's, I mean,
• 6:40
  that's I guess that would be possible in the Big 12, but it
• 6:43
  seems like a lot of teams avoid the Big 12 in terms of trying to
• 6:47
  get those for like a kickoff classic or whatever.

  But I mean, I'm really interested in like the middle,
• 6:54
  the top of other conferences going against our bottom to
• 6:59
  middle conference just to see like how bad our bad is.

  So like that Georgia Tech Colorado game really doesn't
• 7:07
  treat me. I mean, D the storylines right
• 7:09
  itself. And I love I mean, ever since
• 7:13
  Dionne's been at Colorado, he's been he's had some really solid
• 7:17
  Rd. games. I mean, they end up being
• 7:19
  conference games eventually down the road.

  But I think him going to Atlanta, the storylines right,

  right themselves. I I really, I really am

  intrigued by that game because Georgia Tech if they get their
• 7:36
  quarterback situation figured out because I don't think Hanes
• 7:39
  king is there anymore, but it, it could be very interesting
• 7:44
  with what Georgia Tech because they're, they're pretty solid.

  Man, I so you're kind of putting this at a week 0 to week 3.

  In reality, the best non conference game for the Big 12

  is BYU and Notre Dame. Right.

  That's going to be probably a pretty electric atmosphere for

  that game. And you're going to see, you

  know, Drew Mestemaker play against probably one of the best

  defenses he's going to play against all year.

  So if I can't pick BYU. I mean, and, and then, you know,

  a couple honorable mentions for me.

  I think competitive wise, I don't know how competitive it'll
• 9:29
  be. The spread is only 7 right now

  and that's Missouri, Kansas. That is a huge, I mean,
• 9:35
  obviously implications on the recruiting trail rivalry.

  I mean, it's huge. I mean, the fans gobble that up.

  I mean, I don't care particularly either way who wins

  or lose that game. So for me, it's just like, like

  Scott said on our road trip, it's a lose.

  It's a win win for Kansas State fans.

  People think it's a lose lose, but it's a win win in in

  reality. So I like that game.

  And then I mean, I don't want to take all of Matt's potential

  picks, but Arizona State and Texas A&M because that's a
• 10:10
  that's a comeback match again that, you know, I don't know,

  it's going to be interesting to see what Texas A&M has outside
• 10:19
  of Colin Klein's era. So maybe their offense goes to

  shit, who knows? That's.

  The one I was going to say I I haven't, I haven't given an

  answer yet, but Arizona State and A&M is the one that I've
• 10:31
  kind of got circled because right now the spread is not

  looking favorable for Arizona State's 14 1/2.

  I don't think they're very good. On the way to early lines, but

  who knows what they're who knows what this team is going to look

  like? They lost a lot of pieces.

  They don't have Jordan Tyson anymore.

  miserable Cyhawk to watch. But I'm curious just how bad

  Iowa State's going to be, because I have a feeling they're

  Arizona State KU game is like this fun little carnival game

  and I don't know who's going to win it because you look at the

  overseas aspect of it it's Week 2 and these teams in week one

  Teams in Week 2 are playing Texas A&M and Missouri and then

  they're going to go travel across to go play this game.

  But ultimately, I think BYU Arizona is the the on the

  pedestal for the conference early, early season.

  that conversation is Houston and Texas Tech in week 3 cuz that

  might be the most difficult game on Texas Tech schedule in Big

  12. Play in Houston.

  By all accounts, everybody's on on the Houston train.

  They obviously had a great season last year.

  They're returning their quarterback.

  They have a five star, one of the best quarterbacks in the

  country coming in in Keyshawn Henderson.

  So it's going to be interesting to see how they mix him into the

  into the whole game plan. But that might be our best

  chance for Tech to drop a game this this regular season.

  I mean, granted, depending on will Hammond's ability to be a

  good quarterback, he obviously looked really good in that Utah

  game last year. But then in other moments where

  they had to put him in, he didn't look that great.
