- 1:47Speaker 2: like to have another platform that I can speak on.

- 2:00Speaker 2: can't not get over, like it has been a great time.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And also being the first mail on this network is
- 2:12Speaker 2: really really good. So I want to take the time
- 2:15Speaker 2: out and reintroduce who I am and to everybody who
- 2:20Speaker 2: are listening, those are new, those who are coming on,
- 2:26Speaker 2: those who have met me, those who have been in
- 2:30Speaker 2: my president, those who met me through networking, through all
- 2:32Speaker 2: social media. I want to reinduce me who am I
- 2:36Speaker 2: as a person. So I am mister Zachary Williams. I
- 2:42Speaker 2: am twenty eight years old. I have a bachel degree
- 2:46Speaker 2: in accounting. I have a masters degree in parentin accounting.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I am working on my doctor's degree in accounting. I
- 2:57Speaker 2: almost finished up with my certifications and business administration and
- 3:00Speaker 2: human resource. I am from South Carolina, Well Chance, South Carolina,
- 3:06Speaker 2: where I am from the South, where Sunday means something
- 3:10Speaker 2: when the church fan smack on rhythm and the heated sun.
- 3:16Speaker 2: When my grandmother played over bills then the government that
- 3:20Speaker 2: are her words mean something. Where you have the sidewalks
- 3:25Speaker 2: that are messed up, where you have the cracks on
- 3:29Speaker 2: the porch, when you and your family get together and
- 3:32Speaker 2: gossip about each other. I am from the barbershop as
- 3:42Speaker 2: a lot of men's get together our therapy and talk
- 3:45Speaker 2: about football, sports, mental health, what's going on in our community.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I am from the kitchen table when the bills are
- 3:54Speaker 2: being prayed over. I am from the place where we
- 3:58Speaker 2: have to stretch food out to make it last. I
- 4:03Speaker 2: am a place that I have been heartbroken. I've been
- 4:09Speaker 2: to hell and back. And I am from a place
- 4:14Speaker 2: that they told boys man, I am a place that
- 4:18Speaker 2: when you cry, it makes a week. I am a
- 4:21Speaker 2: place that I went through a lot and back I
- 4:26Speaker 2: am a place that me and you can relate that
- 4:29Speaker 2: every game gets shut under the rug. And yes I
- 4:34Speaker 2: do have an accent, and that's from getcha galla. Sometimes
- 4:37Speaker 2: you might not understand my language, or I might slur,
- 4:41Speaker 2: I feel a bit of sometimes, but that is me.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I am a poet, I am a writer, I am
- 4:51Speaker 2: everything in between that you can think of. And I
- 4:56Speaker 2: want to talk to you. Like I said, I want
- 4:58Speaker 2: to introduce myself and also talking about misunderstanding me for
- 5:03Speaker 2: who I am as a person. You know, I wanted
- 5:07Speaker 2: to create a space where men's can be their self.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I don't care you are black, white, you believe in Christ,
- 5:16Speaker 2: believing Christian, you not in any type of way. You
- 5:19Speaker 2: are gay, straight, bisexual, lesbian, and transcend them anything you are.
- 5:27Speaker 2: But I want to create a space for men, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: sometimes I will have females on here. But I also
- 5:33Speaker 2: want to create a space when where I can be
- 5:37Speaker 2: myself and there's nothing attached to it. There's no labels.
- 5:45Speaker 2: They like, you can't talk whether this, you can't talk
- 5:47Speaker 2: with that. I am here to bring you what you
- 5:51Speaker 2: need to here. Sometimes, you know, it's hard for us
- 5:57Speaker 2: as people who look like me to understand that we
- 6:00Speaker 2: didn't have a lot of spaces like this. Well, I
- 6:07Speaker 2: would say I didn't have a lot of spaces like this.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You know, I have my own broadcast back in the
- 6:14Speaker 2: day during COVID, and I created a space for me
- 6:19Speaker 2: to be who I am. You know, as a kid,
- 6:22Speaker 2: you know, you you feel everything growing out from you know,
- 6:26Speaker 2: staying a child's place, or don't talk back, or something
- 6:31Speaker 2: happened to you. It does not exist. I was told
- 6:36Speaker 2: to shut up. I was told to, like I said,
- 6:42Speaker 2: stay in the child's fila. I was told to if
- 6:45Speaker 2: you see, if you see something, don't say nothing at
- 6:48Speaker 2: alse because it's not your business. You know, I grew
- 6:51Speaker 2: up with nobody. I grew up with not a proper
- 6:58Speaker 2: mental health as to have access to how to how
- 7:06Speaker 2: I would say it, to express how I feel. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: didn't know how to give it, what to do? You know,
- 7:16Speaker 2: I had to grow up as a man. I had
- 7:18Speaker 2: to learn grow fast. I grew up real fast. I'm
- 7:24Speaker 2: not saying that I didn't enjoy my childhood moments, but
- 7:30Speaker 2: I wish that I was able to express how I
- 7:35Speaker 2: feel growing up and not me for understanding who I am.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Even now as a girl man, I still carry that
- 7:45Speaker 2: little child in me for who wants to who wants
- 7:49Speaker 2: somebody to see him. Not a performer, not an affectionist,
- 7:55Speaker 2: just a person, who say, a person who really wants
- 8:02Speaker 2: to enjoy life. You know, I have friends, I have family,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and I have my spouse to support. Shout to Eric Harmon,
- 8:10Speaker 2: that is my boyfriend. And yes I am gay if
- 8:12Speaker 2: you did get it from here, I am gay. But
- 8:19Speaker 2: that's why I created this space, you know, especially Royal
- 8:23Speaker 2: Mic Broadcast, because we are kings. You know, we supposed
- 8:31Speaker 2: to be the man of the house. We supposed to
- 8:33Speaker 2: always know what to do, and sometimes we don't credit
- 8:38Speaker 2: ourselves or put a hand on our backs for the
- 8:41Speaker 2: good job we do. And like I said, I created
- 8:46Speaker 2: this space for everybody in between. I don't care who
- 8:49Speaker 2: you are. I created the space, but I just want
- 8:53Speaker 2: to introduce myself. You know, when people ask who really
- 8:57Speaker 2: Zach is, I tell him. You know, I'm not just
- 9:01Speaker 2: a poet. I am a producer of I survive results
- 9:06Speaker 2: of what didn't break me, the voices of resilience that
- 9:09Speaker 2: try to erase me. But I'm still here. You know,
- 9:16Speaker 2: we're talking about how people can misunderstood you. You know,
- 9:25Speaker 2: who does not understand where you grow up in are
- 9:31Speaker 2: how to relate to you. You know, I've been told
- 9:38Speaker 2: my whole life and I have been labeled this, And
- 9:41Speaker 2: I wrote this down too emotional, too passive, too serious,
- 9:49Speaker 2: too difficult, two senses, too cocky, too confidence, too honest,
- 9:54Speaker 2: too black, to gay to me, and the list I
- 10:03Speaker 2: have it goes on and on and all these labels
- 10:06Speaker 2: I get towards me and you know, I have to
- 10:12Speaker 2: be real. I'm not too much. I was just never
- 10:19Speaker 2: I was worth just never enough for certain people. You know,
- 10:26Speaker 2: people love my voice, but you know I know my resiliency.
- 10:31Speaker 2: They love what I do, but they don't see what
- 10:34Speaker 2: I carry. I have been friends for everyone who calls
- 10:41Speaker 2: for advice, but those who don't check up on me.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I have been there for people who show up for them,
- 10:50Speaker 2: but in in return, they don't show up for me.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I have to navigate do a lot of abandonment issues,
- 11:07Speaker 2: daddy issues, you know, mommy issues, loving myself. I have
- 11:14Speaker 2: to have to relearn how to be okay for who
- 11:18Speaker 2: I am. I have to relearn how to not pop
- 11:28Speaker 2: off on somebody or what they say to me. I
- 11:32Speaker 2: have to I have to relearn what it means. To
- 11:34Speaker 2: be the biggest person, but also and respect. I have
- 11:44Speaker 2: to relearn how to be a man, how to be
- 11:50Speaker 2: a young man that attrapped and at child body. And
- 11:57Speaker 2: what do I mean by that is that I have
- 12:01Speaker 2: so much issues and I didn't know how to deal
- 12:09Speaker 2: with it. And it comes from when you are growing
- 12:13Speaker 2: up in a when you are growing up in.
- 12:21Speaker 3: A household that everybody speaks everything under the rug, and
- 12:28Speaker 3: then when you are growing enough to speak about it,
- 12:31Speaker 3: they don't want to talk about it.
- 12:33Speaker 2: They don't want to call out him or her on it.
- 12:38Speaker 2: And then when you do it, you're being disrespectful. Are
- 12:41Speaker 2: you being your lie? You can't see the word lie?
- 12:46Speaker 2: And are they fibbing? We are grown people. I'm not
- 12:51Speaker 2: a love child more. I am twenty eight years old.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And yes I am stepping on some people tools. Yes
- 12:58Speaker 2: I might get I let us talk to on the
- 13:02Speaker 2: side after this, but I do not care. One thing
- 13:06Speaker 2: about me is I'm going to speak my truth because
- 13:10Speaker 2: nobody knows my truth besides me, And and that's okay.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I have learned that it's okay to be okay, it's
- 13:22Speaker 2: okay not to be okay. I have learned how to
- 13:27Speaker 2: be by myself and be happy. You know, you don't
- 13:30Speaker 2: need friends, you don't need anybody, But those are warrants,
- 13:35Speaker 2: you know, we want that we don't need it. You know,
- 13:39Speaker 2: we sit in certain predicament that that we choose. And
- 13:54Speaker 2: when I'm thinking about this, because I'm trying to choose
- 13:56Speaker 2: my words wisely, but it is what it is. We
- 14:01Speaker 2: we sit in. Problems are predicament that we put ourselves into,
- 14:08Speaker 2: not the things that we cannot control. Things that we
- 14:12Speaker 2: can't control that we put ourselves through. That is a problem.
- 14:17Speaker 2: And I have learned that because yeah, my early twenties,
- 14:23Speaker 2: teenager years, I put myself in plenty of predicament that
- 14:31Speaker 2: I wish I made better decisions. You know, I wish that.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm not saying I'm gonna go back in time and
- 14:40Speaker 2: be like it already happened. I did it. It made
- 14:43Speaker 2: me yesterday. You know, I can't change for who I
- 14:49Speaker 2: am as a person, because you know, you we can't
- 14:56Speaker 2: go back and we wish we did this. We just
- 14:58Speaker 2: we hate that, but we also have to realize that
- 15:03Speaker 2: it made it us stronger as the better person as today.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And a lot of people do not know that, and
- 15:11Speaker 2: that's why I keep saying I'm a misunderstood No, I'm
- 15:17Speaker 2: not having an attitude. No I'm not being combatist. I'm
- 15:24Speaker 2: not getting out of character because you misunderstood me, you know.
- 15:37Speaker 2: And I can't sit here and allow other people who
- 15:47Speaker 2: do not know me judge me. Are they know me
- 15:55Speaker 2: and they judge me anyway? Because people the people don't
- 15:58Speaker 2: judge you, judge you anyway? But I'm authentically me and
- 16:03Speaker 2: I can't change that because I want to be this way. Yes,
- 16:10Speaker 2: I may change my mind down the lie as I
- 16:13Speaker 2: get older, but now I hear at twenty eight, but
- 16:18Speaker 2: to reach my thirties is how can me? How can
- 16:25Speaker 2: I be the vetter present of myself than I was
- 16:28Speaker 2: at my sixteen years old eighteen years old? Twenty one
- 16:36Speaker 2: turn up year that was my college turn up year
- 16:43Speaker 2: twenty three, twenty five, twenty five. It gives you that
- 16:47Speaker 2: you are at the peak of what are you accomplished?
- 16:51Speaker 2: And the next is telling you what are you going
- 16:54Speaker 2: to do to better your life? And you know, we
- 16:57Speaker 2: don't have to grow up as fast as we posed to,
- 17:01Speaker 2: but we need to have a understanding of who we
- 17:06Speaker 2: want to be as a person and how do we
- 17:15Speaker 2: put ourselves and what I mean by that is, how
- 17:19Speaker 2: do you want people to see you if you was
- 17:23Speaker 2: in issues? You know, being misunderstanding feel like a stream
- 17:29Speaker 2: without no sound. It's like being celebrated for what you're
- 17:35Speaker 2: giving and being the puntral. When you finally say that
- 17:38Speaker 2: I need help too, they say I'm too soft, but
- 17:45Speaker 2: they don't know how to reach myself emotionally. This how
- 17:51Speaker 2: I overthink. But I have to calculate every move just
- 17:56Speaker 2: to stay safe in this world. And I don't want
- 18:04Speaker 2: to be misunderstanding. Sometimes I don't. Sometimes it it happens,
- 18:11Speaker 2: and I can't go back and apologize what I can't.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I can't go back for what I did I done,
- 18:23Speaker 2: or I can move forward. But let me tell you
- 18:29Speaker 2: what I have learned. I think I said it plenty
- 18:32Speaker 2: of time. You know, people will misunderstand you for the
- 18:36Speaker 2: moment and not stop. You don't need to start for
- 18:39Speaker 2: their approval. And that is okay, and and and and
- 18:45Speaker 2: that's okay. You don't need everybody approval you don't.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Like.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I could give you so many examples. I could give
- 18:54Speaker 2: you example. Now you know, growing up I always wanted
- 19:02Speaker 2: approval for my dad, and from earlier I have daddy
- 19:07Speaker 2: issues and now I have not I have learned how
- 19:10Speaker 2: to deal with those daddy issues. Why do I feel
- 19:14Speaker 2: like this? Why do I need Because I have always
- 19:19Speaker 2: wanted to be not a mama's boy, a daddy's boy.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I always wanted my daddy approval, and every time I
- 19:31Speaker 2: I accomplished something, I want to always want him approved,
- 19:35Speaker 2: but he was never there to approve it. And in
- 19:40Speaker 2: my head, I always want to move the ghost poll
- 19:45Speaker 2: just because for him. But if he's not there, who
- 19:50Speaker 2: are you doing it for? Who are you are doing
- 19:56Speaker 2: it for? We always want the ghost port for ourselves
- 19:59Speaker 2: that who are we doing it for? Because at the
- 20:02Speaker 2: end of it is not for us. It definitely wasn't
- 20:06Speaker 2: for me when I did that, and I had to
- 20:08Speaker 2: literally went to therapy about it. I fussed with my
- 20:11Speaker 2: daddy a lot of time, and it was arranging emotion
- 20:15Speaker 2: because he wasn't there. I give him some credit some
- 20:21Speaker 2: part of my life he was there and I appreciate that,
- 20:24Speaker 2: But other than that, it's just do that make me
- 20:31Speaker 2: ask the less of a man? Not having my father?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Didn't know? Did I have other father figures to teach
- 20:39Speaker 2: me how to be a man? Yes? Did I have
- 20:44Speaker 2: to learn the hard way that people don't know my
- 20:47Speaker 2: story in the past, what I have to do. Yes,
- 20:53Speaker 2: but I do not need nobody approval to who I
- 20:58Speaker 2: am as a person. I don't And it goes to
- 21:07Speaker 2: why I created this broadcast, the Royal Mic Broadcast, like
- 21:10Speaker 2: I said at the beginning, because we are black women,
- 21:13Speaker 2: black people, creator, heater and survivors. We need space, a
- 21:17Speaker 2: space that we can breathe without was sampling from other people.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I tire of watching people like me only to be
- 21:24Speaker 2: her when they're angry, when they're clap back moments, who's yelling?
- 21:30Speaker 2: And also sometimes I am tired of just writing it down.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I am tired of putting it in my poetry. They
- 21:39Speaker 2: get on mic and just say it. I am tired
- 21:43Speaker 2: of that. Sometimes. Yes, I am a great entertainer, I
- 21:52Speaker 2: am a great interviewer. I am a great host. But
- 21:56Speaker 2: sometimes you need our place just to be yourself. When
- 22:03Speaker 2: we can grief inquietly with other people, when we can
- 22:06Speaker 2: learn how to love ourselves again, when me you can
- 22:09Speaker 2: laugh on here, when we can learn from each other. Yes,
- 22:15Speaker 2: this is the right mic to hear. This might is
- 22:18Speaker 2: a mirror, a mirror of whoever comes on here. We
- 22:25Speaker 2: are going to talk about the truth. Sometimes sho's going
- 22:29Speaker 2: to hurt. Sometimes I might be I might be wrong
- 22:33Speaker 2: and be like, yeah, you're right, you're right, Sis, you
- 22:38Speaker 2: might bro you right. You know, we are going to
- 22:43Speaker 2: talk about grief, therapy, sexual spiritual trauma, survival thoughts, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, perfectly,
- 22:55Speaker 2: what is your purpose? Power? Please in peace? They ain't
- 23:01Speaker 2: no way that we are. We are going to cover
- 23:03Speaker 2: everything about it. And those who the people who's not
- 23:11Speaker 2: gonna likewise say it's okay, you're gonna like it, you're
- 23:15Speaker 2: gonna love it, It's okay. I have no problem with that.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I have no problem with that. And if you want
- 23:26Speaker 2: to come on here and talk to me and you know,
- 23:30Speaker 2: be against where you're talking about, comment that is this
- 23:33Speaker 2: is the place for you to do that. There is
- 23:36Speaker 2: no judgment, Jones. I am to learn here and listen out. Yes,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I'm gonna get my commentary. Yes I'm gonna get my input.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yes I might disagree. Yes I might agree with what
- 23:51Speaker 2: you were saying. Yes I might be paid. I might
- 23:56Speaker 2: do random things. You'd be like, what if she's doing
- 24:05Speaker 2: I'm only here to make things better, to give people
- 24:09Speaker 2: a platform, friends, family, associates, colleague, a tree, a plant,
- 24:20Speaker 2: whatever you want to be, gay, lesbian, scrape by, black, blue, green, purple,
- 24:25Speaker 2: anything in the rainbow you want to be. You are
- 24:28Speaker 2: welcome here. Your voice will not be silenced here. And yes,
- 24:35Speaker 2: I might put you in an uncomfortable position, but this
- 24:39Speaker 2: is what we are here to talk about, to break
- 24:43Speaker 2: down barriers and to rebuild structures, to build a bond
- 24:50Speaker 2: to my listeners, followers, and everybody else between. And I'm
- 24:59Speaker 2: not going on, never going nowhere. I'm here and shout
- 25:05Speaker 2: out to the people who support me for the long run.
- 25:11Speaker 2: It took me a long time just to get to
- 25:16Speaker 2: hear who I am as today. And I still have
- 25:19Speaker 2: a lot, a lot to grow. And I understand that.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And I appreciate the people who show me tough love,
- 25:38Speaker 2: who closed the doors on me, who said no to me,
- 25:44Speaker 2: who said I wouldn't gonna be nothing, who said I
- 25:47Speaker 2: wouldn't gonna do nothing, who said I'm gonna to be
- 25:51Speaker 2: in six feet under. I have been told that, but
- 25:56Speaker 2: that doesn't stop for who I am as a person.
- 25:59Speaker 2: That don't stop my It actually tells me that I
- 26:04Speaker 2: am not for you and you are not for me. Yes,
- 26:09Speaker 2: the door has closed, Yes, I will be okay. Yes
- 26:13Speaker 2: it's going to hurt sometimes, but we will be okay.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Tell you everything is not perfect and cream over here
- 26:26Speaker 2: and yes I might be all over, but the it
- 26:29Speaker 2: tells you who am I? You get off the energy.
- 26:34Speaker 2: I'm very passive, very confident who I am. But I
- 26:41Speaker 2: had to come on and reinduce myself. And yes, shout
- 26:48Speaker 2: out to my frat brothers for I have been a
- 26:51Speaker 2: Signatorney and Cobra It. Yes, the best amazing chapter. That's
- 26:58Speaker 2: Veaneta Fraternity. I've been like I joined. They open doors
- 27:03Speaker 2: for me. They are a lot of me who I
- 27:07Speaker 2: am at the person. Shout out to all the networks
- 27:15Speaker 2: I have been on, and this is the brand new network.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I'm on the first male and it's not going to
- 27:25Speaker 2: stop here. I'm telling this platform, this network is going
- 27:31Speaker 2: to grow, and it's going to grow. I'm telling you
- 27:40Speaker 2: Mark my words is going to grow. And and to
- 27:46Speaker 2: the people who who need spaces like this, it's time
- 27:52Speaker 2: to step up to the front. We no longer going
- 27:56Speaker 2: to be in the back. Were not bad people, no more,
- 28:00Speaker 2: we o front. We were no longer in the back.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Back of the people is called ignorant. We we're not
- 28:10Speaker 2: no longer ignorance. We are leaders. So get it that
