  put a bunch of coaches together and how much we'll we'll chat

  you been coming to the Dimension and what are you most looking

  forward to this week here at this year?

  But I'm proud to say that I've been to every convention and and

  and I just love coming here. I think Sam seems and his group

  does a. Phenomenal job.

  Shout out to Sam seems and shout out to Sam's the crew because

  love Sam, but he ain't doing this all by himself.

  He's got a great, amazing staff that supports us 365 days a
• 1:41
  year. Yeah, sorry, I just wanted to

  give a shout. Out Sam has really made this
• 1:46
  such a professional event and everything from Bowerman to our
• 1:51
  Coaches Hall of Fame banquet, of course, the wonderful
• 1:54
  symposiums. Getting you guys here, the
• 1:58
  industry out here to meet us. Absolutely.

  And then, obviously, the fellowship and, you know,
• 2:03
  catching up with all friends. Last year you spoke in the
• 2:07
  symposium. You were a teacher.

  Are you teaching this year? Or yeah, I've done it the last
• 2:11
  two years and so this year I'm gonna.

  Let somebody. I'm gonna let somebody else do

  it, but I enjoy attending those and and a lot of my friends are
• 2:22
  ones that are presenting and so I always like to go and.

  Not just symposium, but one thing.

  Hall of Fame, Dinner environment.

  Actually, the Coaches Hall of Fame.

  Big reason for that is a lot of my mentors, a lot of my friends,

  a lot of my colleagues and years are all in it and.

  So really an amazing group. I mean, they're amazing every

  year. But this year, as I was reading
• 2:55
  through the list, I'm like, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh,

  like, they're amazing. Yeah, Yeah.

  And and and that's great that they have an opportunity to be
• 3:03
  recognized. And be celebrated and some of
• 3:08
  them have been retired and it's past due, right?
• 3:11
  And then there's a lot of them that are still in their pride.

  As. It shows you that we're really,

  really recognizing the people. That put so much.
• 3:24
  Into this one. Yeah, that that we're standing
• 3:27
  on their shoulders as coaches today and what they did.

  And now we're we're building it so future coaches can stand on
• 3:32
  these big old shoulders right here.

  All right. So Mr. Sprecher here, we've got

  still remember when Pong, but now I'm gonna say Pacman.

  And that's kind of, you know, when I was a video game.

  Did you have you guys purchased a Nintendo Switch?

  I don't have anything like. That so they've got a Pacman on

  there where you play against 99 other people in the world.

  OK, it's. Awesome.

  bought our switch, I was addicted.

  Now I'm addicted to Portland. OK.

  Hey, speaker. So another thing that we're

  doing this is exclusive. You're in a small club.

  hours. You know, it was a long process

  to get through your whole story. It was very probably, you know,
• 4:41
  had to take a nap, I'm sure after that.

  So I'm going to let you flip the script and you get to ask me one

  question. We're going to go back to our

  days of. Allstate.

  Oh, yes. And I remember at Allstate we
• 4:54
  had a collection of reptiles. Yeah.
• 4:59
  Would you like to share it with everybody?

  Yeah, you know, I don't have them now because I'm married.
• 5:05
  My wife forbade me. But yes, I had.
• 5:08
  I've always. I grew up a huge snake fan.
• 5:11
  Like I moved a lot and everywhere that I would move
• 5:13
  into the new school. First thing you have to do is go
• 5:16
  to the library and read all the snakes.
• 5:18
  And that was just this before the Internet.
• 5:19
  You remember those days. And so I would read them all
• 5:22
  right? And so when I finally got to
• 5:23
  college, when I was finally able to get my own reptile, I bought
• 5:26
  a ball Python. All my snakes, by the way, were
• 5:29
  all named after herdlers. Who?
• 5:31
  Who do you think ski skeets? The very first one.
• 5:33
  Bingo. Exactly the all times.
• 5:35
  Now I'd have a Grand Holloway and a tray and those kind of
• 5:39
  Niali. That's what I would name about
• 5:40
  now. But I had a ball Python.
• 5:41
  And then when I was coaching junior college, I just got so
• 5:44
  lucky in Kansas. They had a big reptile, big
• 5:47
  snake collection that they were pairing down to.
• 5:49
  Only snakes that were native to Kansas.
• 5:52
  All those snakes they were going to get rid of and they knew I
• 5:53
  was a snake guy so I I got an 8 foot red tail boa.
• 5:58
  I got a little 1 foot massasago rattlesnake.
• 6:01
  I can't remember the other ones, but but really I loved my
• 6:05
  snakes. I really did.
• 6:06
  They were all you know, you couldn't pet the rattlesnake.
• 6:08
  The 8 footer had an attitude so you couldn't pet him either.
• 6:10
  So, but I had a great time and now my wife, she didn't say she
• 6:15
  divorced me, but I also kind of thought about calling her bluff.
• 6:18
  It's like, well, if I get a snake, what are you going to do?
• 6:20
  You ain't going to pick it up and get rid of it, you know,
• 6:21
  It'll just be there. So.
• 6:23
  But we did. We got this slever deal of free
• 6:26
  60 gallon fish tank. And there is a tank, a fish
• 6:30
  called the African rope fish. And it looks just like a snake.
• 6:34
  It has two little fins up front, but it's long, thick.
• 6:36
  They look just like snakes. It's it's scratch my snake fish.
• 6:40
  I'm good. I'm really good.
• 6:41
  Yeah, that's a good question, man.
