- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Jasonnewland dot com. My name's Jason
- 0:06Speaker 1: Newland and this is a message for everyone that listens
- 0:12Speaker 1: to my recordings, my podcasts or maybe on YouTube, just
- 0:18Speaker 1: to let you know about my Facebook group. It is
- 0:22Speaker 1: a private group, but everyone's welcome to join, including Vinnie,
- 0:28Speaker 1: who's now sitting on my lap, which he doesn't normally do.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I never know what he's going to do for one
- 0:35Speaker 1: second to the next. Really he's doesn't. Yeah, he never
- 0:43Speaker 1: sits on my lap, So there you go. He's doing
- 0:45Speaker 1: it now. So the Facebook group I started about six
- 0:51Speaker 1: or seven years ago. Six years ago, it's been a while.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's been a while, and I don't I have many
- 1:00Speaker 1: people on there. I think it's two hundred and twenty
- 1:03Speaker 1: at the moment, and I do mention it most times
- 1:09Speaker 1: when I do a recording, but I've had a few
- 1:12Speaker 1: people say that when they're laying down or listening to
- 1:21Speaker 1: a recording, maybe they're listening to go to sleep, and
- 1:25Speaker 1: that's not the right time to be for me to
- 1:29Speaker 1: tell people about it, because they, you know, they can't
- 1:34Speaker 1: really don't want to get up and go and then
- 1:37Speaker 1: add themselves to the group or request to be added
- 1:44Speaker 1: so I thought I'd actually just do a separate recording,
- 1:47Speaker 1: a very quick recording, even though it could be a
- 1:50Speaker 1: lot quicker. But did you hear that whistle? Quicker? I
- 1:54Speaker 1: can't say quicker without whistling, apart from just then when
- 1:57Speaker 1: I did so. The group is called Jason Newland's Boring Group.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Molly is the boss of the group, so she's the administrator.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Hi Molly, if you listen to this. One of the
- 2:15Speaker 1: benefits of being in the group is it's a place
- 2:21Speaker 1: where you can ask me questions. It's a place where
- 2:24Speaker 1: you can contact me and have, you know, let me
- 2:28Speaker 1: know how you're getting on which recordings are useful. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: also once a week I do a Q and a
- 2:36Speaker 1: Friday where I post usually on a Wednesday, any questions
- 2:41Speaker 1: for this coming Friday is Q and A Friday. And
- 2:48Speaker 1: it's although you know I do post all my stuff
- 2:52Speaker 1: on my website. When I post the latest recordings on
- 2:58Speaker 1: Facebook on my Facebook group, it's just more of a
- 3:01Speaker 1: let you know that they're available, and then I imagine
- 3:06Speaker 1: people just go to Spotify or Apple or wherever you
- 3:12Speaker 1: know you listen to your listen to my recordings. They're
- 3:18Speaker 1: also available on the website as well. So you can
- 3:22Speaker 1: search on Facebook for Jason Newland's Boring Group, or if
- 3:27Speaker 1: you just go to my website Jasonnewland dot com. There
- 3:30Speaker 1: is a little banner at the top of the page
- 3:33Speaker 1: on the right hand side which it's got a little
- 3:38Speaker 1: image Jason Newland's Boring Group. Just click on there and
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'll take you there and you could just request to join.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I mean it's a private group, but you'll be accepted
- 3:49Speaker 1: within you know, within a short time. That will be fine.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And the reason why it's private is just to keep
- 4:00Speaker 1: what people right and just you know, it's just not
- 4:06Speaker 1: available for everyone to just see. I mean, it's not
- 4:12Speaker 1: really any reason why it needs to be private. Maybe
- 4:16Speaker 1: maybe you should change it to be an open I
- 4:18Speaker 1: don't know, but yeah, just join if you like, and
- 4:24Speaker 1: then you can be part of a growing group. I mean,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's a small group, but it's kind of I don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: want to use the word super fans, but people that
- 4:36Speaker 1: join the Jason Newlands Boying Group on faithbook are potentially
- 4:43Speaker 1: people that really enjoy what I do and listen regularly.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Now I know there's for every one person on the
- 4:53Speaker 1: Facebook group, there's probably ten twenty thirty times that around
- 5:01Speaker 1: that are listening regularly as well, just who aren't on
- 5:04Speaker 1: the group. So I thought it could be quite nice
- 5:06Speaker 1: to just based on the stats, you know, be quite
- 5:10Speaker 1: nice to maybe get a few more people together. And
- 5:15Speaker 1: that way you can let me know what you think
- 5:16Speaker 1: and I can get more of a gauge of you know,
- 5:21Speaker 1: what I'm doing and is and if what I'm doing
- 5:24Speaker 1: is actually useful, which is important feedback for me. So
- 5:31Speaker 1: thank you very much. I can't believe in he's laying.
- 5:35Speaker 1: He's now laying on my right leg and on the
- 5:40Speaker 1: arm rest of the chair. He literally never does this.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It seems happy, so hey, so thank you, take care Bye,
