- 1:17Oh my God. Quit.
- 1:19All the way, all the way to the end, all the way to the buzzer.
- 1:23We did so much this week. It's kind of insane and got so
- 1:29much accomplished, I feel. And I thought we came into came
- 1:36into the week on a streak and now all the way at the end.
- 1:41We're still, I mean, even today we we filed the taxes, we got
- 1:46every. I mean, we're, we're just
- 1:47moving, moving, man. And you're ending it off with a
- 1:51podcast episode? That's true.
- 1:52Exhausted. Late night podcast, been at the
- 1:57resort all day. I wish I could put my promo code
- 2:03on the episodes. We'll get there.
- 2:08Thanks, hated it. Sponsored by Yeah.
- 2:11Delta No. No, I'm sorry, Delta gets no
- 2:16free. The the beauty, the beautiful,
- 2:22beautiful, the beautiful name. Oh my gosh, I can't talk right
- 2:27now. What the?
- 2:28Hell Rewind. Excuse us, Ryan had a stroke.
- 2:32He's like licking my foot. He'll licking between your toes
- 2:36if you let him. Does it to me constantly.
- 2:39I can't. Hated it.
- 2:40Yeah. I told you I am freak nasty.
- 2:42Yeah, you are. The beautiful thing about our
- 2:45name is we can review something and say, oh, we loved it.
- 2:50Thanks. Hated it.
- 2:51Thanks, hated it. You get the full podcast name at
- 2:57the end of the review. That's how much we hated it.
- 3:00That's actually really funny. Five stars.
- 3:05Performance, atmosphere, affordability.
- 3:09Thanks. Hated.
- 3:10It. That's really good.
- 3:12It's. People will pay for that.
- 3:15I think the sponsors are going to be like, what?
- 3:18What? What?
- 3:21Yeah. No, they've they've definitely
- 3:24especially like someone like Delta.
- 3:28And I don't even mean the hotels.
- 3:29I mean the like the plane, like the airline Delta.
- 3:33They've sponsored some pretty terrible podcasts.
- 3:36Like I know well, Hassan for one, but no, I'm kidding.
- 3:45There's a there's one. I can't remember his name.
- 3:47He actually became like he got his 15 minutes for trolling
- 3:55Hassan and now he has his own podcast that I mean, massive
- 4:02names are going on and I just, it blows my mind.
- 4:06I just, I just can't understand it.
- 4:09Oh, that's the that's the thing. Like you can get it.
- 4:12You can get the fame in one one way and then all of a sudden
- 4:17it's just boom. It's so it's so weird that like
- 4:21a troll on Hassan that and then at the moment when it happened
- 4:26was like everybody's like, what the hell was that?
- 4:28And then eventually the kid just became that persona, that
- 4:32character, and that's his character now.
- 4:36Like it's ridiculous. I've no idea what you guys are
- 4:41even talking. About.
- 4:43I don't know who the person is, but I know who it is.
- 4:45She's That makes sense. She's like, I beg you, move on.
- 4:47I was like. I don't.
- 4:48Know. Who or what you guys are talking
- 4:51about? But got so much done this week
- 4:58I'm. Excited Blinded this week?
- 5:00Oh yeah, I almost got blinded. Can you see that on my forehead?
- 5:03It's right there. It's just one tiny little spot.
- 5:07So I walked into a fence that had a pretty much an anti
- 5:14climbing rig on it and the the tongs, the pointy barbs that are
- 5:20like 2 inches long, they face out and in so out away from the
- 5:25property and then down. And I was walking straight up to
- 5:29this fence and I literally caught one of the prongs right
- 5:32here right above my eye, like touching my eyebrow.
- 5:36And then it scraped across my face 'cause I kept like before I
- 5:40knew what was happening it was already stabbing me in the face.
- 5:44If it was, I'm not kidding, a fingernail lower it would have
- 5:48gone into my eye like it was. I was pissed.
- 5:52Dude, that's crazy. I wasn't even supposed to be
- 5:56over there and doing all that. And I was like, OK, all right,
- 6:01I'm done now. I understand.
- 6:03Yeah. I was like, I'm universe please.
- 6:04I'm done now. That's a good way for the
- 6:08universe to tell you no, yeah. Fuck off, stop doing what you're
- 6:10doing at. All.
- 6:11Hang out for a second. Relax.
- 6:13Breathe. Yeah, that's a That's a punch in
- 6:19the face if I've ever seen one pissed.
- 6:22Literally. Literally.
- 6:23It was so close, man. I was like, Oh my God, that
- 6:26could have been disastrous. Very easily.
- 6:31I say but no, no issues this week apart from almost losing an
- 6:39eye and I'm not inviting the universe to give me more issues.
- 6:44But good week, really good week. I'm excited for next week too.
- 6:48Hopefully we can get everything that we've been working on
- 6:54together and and get it going. Same with everybody else that
- 6:58I've been given a hand to. Hopefully I can help them out
- 7:01next week and get that done too. I'm excited.
- 7:05I've got a dude who's going to do our logo for this podcast
- 7:10that I got to get in contact with.
- 7:14I've kind of given him an idea of what I would like to see, at
- 7:17least for the very beginning stages.
- 7:19Yeah. And he said he's down.
- 7:22I just need to give him like, full instructions.
- 7:25And he'll give us a vector image of everything and we'll at least
- 7:29get a logo going. I know this is podcast #3 but.
- 7:33Yeah, should have one already. We.
- 7:36Should have one already, but we got the name.
- 7:39We need some fan art from the non fans.
- 7:42Yeah, the two people that are going to be listening to this
- 7:46episode. I can't.
- 7:47I can't wait for. The fan.
- 7:49I can't wait for the fanfic. Oh my God I'm excited.
- 7:56Vector. He was one of my favorite
- 7:58villains of all time. From Despicable Me, Yes.
- 8:02Why? I don't know.
- 8:03Because he was the weirdest character that who does
- 8:10Despicable Me? Is it Nickelodeon?
- 8:12I don't even know who does that animation.
- 8:14DreamWorks, I believe. Was it so?
- 8:16Yeah. I mean, they're the the goat.
- 8:18Steve Carell is. Like DreamWorks is the GOAT do.
- 8:21You know who voices Vector? Vector vector vector.
- 8:24No, no, it's out of my head. But he he's one of my favorites
- 8:28like. Steve Carell is grew.
- 8:29The character of Steve Carell. The office.
- 8:36You'll never guess is. That his last name?
- 8:38Michael, Yeah. I know Steve Carell.
- 8:40I just I for. It's weird.
- 8:42Not it's like not seeing his name.
- 8:44Yeah, when it's spoken sounds completely wrong.
- 8:47Who's vector? I want you to throw out some
- 8:49guesses. Franklin Delano.
- 8:53If it were me, I would like immediately go to Jonah Hill.
- 8:58You're close, ish. I feel like that's Seth.
- 9:01Rogen. No.
- 9:02No. But it's in the same.
- 9:06It's in the same. Oh, Bill Hader.
- 9:09No, but that is a good. That is.
- 9:14That's who I would have guessed. Yeah, another good one would
- 9:20probably be Samberg. I me personally, I don't think
- 9:24this guy is a good actor. Shade.
- 9:28Yeah, we gotta say who it is now.
- 9:30We gotta throw one more out. Why one more?
- 9:33I said 3. You gotta throw one more than
- 9:36right? Oh gosh.
- 9:37Oh, I don't. I don't know.
- 9:44Will Smith. Yeah.
- 9:46Oh, Jason Segel, Segel C Gel. I Met Your Mother.
- 9:55Is that from that new one Wrexham?
- 10:02Wrexham. Yeah, the the Soccer 1.
- 10:07Jason Segel. Yeah.
- 10:11Jason Statham. No, no, no.
- 10:14Who's the guy who did the soccer?
- 10:15Ryan Reynolds. No, no, no.
- 10:17The other Soccer 1, Wrexham and Mark are in.
- 10:22Sorry. Mark and Ryan Reynolds.
- 10:25Did Wrexham the guy from Sonny? Yeah.
- 10:28What was the other one? It was like Ted.
- 10:30Ted Lasso. That's the one.
- 10:31Is that the same guy? No.
- 10:34Jason, I don't know, Jason Segel.
- 10:39Who's Ted Lasso? Who's Who's Jason?
- 10:43Segel, Jason. Segel is is from How I Met Your
- 10:47Mother. Yeah.
- 10:48And. Forgetting.
- 10:50Forgetting. Tara Marshall and.
- 10:53Really. Yeah, he makes that sound.
- 10:58Jesus Christ. Also I hate that don't.
- 11:01Like he is now. I think he's great.
- 11:03He makes that sound come out of his face for Vector.
- 11:06Oh. Yeah.
- 11:07I would hate to make that voice. He sounds nothing like that.
- 11:11That's crazy. Yeah, he's a big dude.
- 11:15Yeah, he is. He's gotta he's gonna bring his
- 11:17voice all the way down. Did you know the kids that?
- 11:20Up I guess. In Knocked Up like.
- 11:25Hated that movie. Yeah, I.
- 11:26Know, but you know the kids not. Even like thanks hated it.
- 11:28Like hated that movie. The daughters.
- 11:31Don't even. I don't even know the movie.
- 11:32I hate that movie. I hate it so much.
- 11:34It's that's his kid. The 40 year old virgin, knocked
- 11:36up, Jack and Jill make a porno. All of them.
- 11:39I hate those movies. All of the all of the old ones
- 11:42by really good director, I can't remember who he does a bunch of
- 11:50them. I don't.
- 11:51I don't know that. Whole crowd of Seth Rogen and
- 11:53Paul Rudd and all those guys, He does them all.
- 11:56I just can't remember his name. But I can't stand those movies
- 12:00from the early 2000s. I thought Pineapple Express was.
- 12:02Overrated. Oh, he doesn't have biological
- 12:05kids? I don't know if that's
- 12:06overrated. That's a really good movie.
- 12:09Like it's also sentimental because obviously I was higher
- 12:13than. Yeah, I think it's, I think it's
- 12:15overrated. I think it's a good movie, but I
- 12:17don't think it's a great movie. And a lot of people say it's a
- 12:20great movie. I would think it's just good.
- 12:26It's not spectacular in any way, shape or form.
- 12:30Do you think it did something for the culture?
- 12:35Like it actually was like, OK, because of Pineapple Express, we
- 12:38have these movies. You know what I mean?
- 12:42I don't think it did anything for the culture, but it gave
- 12:46Seth Rogen a. Oh yeah.
- 12:50It gave Seth Rogen a a career. Yeah, Which I mean, good for
- 12:54him. Like I said, I don't think it's
- 12:56a bad movie. Do you remember Amber Heard in
- 12:58that movie? No, I don't remember.
- 13:00She's the high schooler that he's dating.
- 13:02In Pineapple Express. In Pineapple Express.
- 13:05Dude, so gross. She's in a good 30 minutes of
- 13:09that movie. It was crazy.
- 13:11I was. Like really so much.
- 13:13I hate her as a person. Hate her but.
- 13:17She she did do a good job in one of my favorite thrillers.
- 13:22Is that Zombieland? No.
- 13:24Did you know she was in Zombieland?
- 13:25No. She's the one who gets the back
- 13:27of the toilet, knocking her jaw off.
- 13:30Beautiful. That's Amber Heard.
- 13:32That was. When she apt 13 or whatever it
- 13:36is, he's like OB13's here. Yeah.
- 13:38And he's like trying to get. She's like help me, help me.
- 13:40And she comes in and then turns into his own.
- 13:42That's Amber Heard. I did not realize that.
- 13:46I haven't seen it. I don't lot of.
- 13:47Supporting roles. Somebody was telling me the
- 13:50other day that, yeah, oh, I mean, whole lot of shit.
- 13:56Somebody told me the other day that she she did a great job in
- 14:01the newest What's the one she was in as Myrna?
- 14:06Myrna Aquaman. Oh.
- 14:09But it was an Aquaman. Yeah, I don't.
- 14:12They did like a new Superman thing and apparently she did
- 14:15like really well. I was like, I haven't seen a
- 14:20Superman in 15 years. Batman versus Superman was the
- 14:24last one that I saw. I think it was 2012.
- 14:27Yeah, I don't think I. I don't plan on watching
- 14:29anything with her in it post trial.
- 14:33Like I'm not, I mean, I'm not going to buy anything with her
- 14:36in it post trial. Like I already have some stuff
- 14:40that she's in and so I'm not going to like burn the stuff,
- 14:44but I'm not going to go and support her anymore.
- 14:47You know, I was thinking about, I was thinking about this the
- 14:49other day. They've edited and they've cut
- 14:53and they've recut and they've re edited all these movies that I
- 14:59used to watch that are like way too much now and.
- 15:05Oh, like all your favorite movies?
- 15:07Yeah, like, all of my favorites are all edited and cut and
- 15:09edited and cut and edited and cut.
- 15:11And even on like a streaming platform, they don't play the
- 15:14real movie because the real movie is insane.
- 15:17And it's like, where do I get the real movie?
- 15:21I don't want to buy a physical copy.
- 15:23I don't have something to play it.
- 15:24Physical copies is where it's at.
- 15:27Who has something to play that? He does not a PlayStation.
- 15:31So the other thing too, I've always.
- 15:34You can also buy a Blu-ray player for like 50 bucks and
- 15:40it's HDMI. It can play Blu rays.
- 15:42It can play DVDs. Can I download like?
- 15:46Is utorrent still a thing? Probably.
- 15:48When's the last? I mean, it's torrenting stuff
- 15:51has become popular again because everybody has a streaming
- 15:56service now. And they take them off and put
- 15:58them back on. Yeah.
- 15:59And every everything is it's. Edited and caught and chopped.
- 16:02So people are going back to pirating so.
- 16:05I'm part of the movement, yeah. I'm the resistance.
- 16:10I've always wanted to see to show you Dogma.
- 16:14Yeah, 'cause I've always wanted to watch it as an adult.
- 16:17I heard that's an insane like a. Fantastic, fantastic.
- 16:21One of the best movies ever made.
- 16:22Kind of. Thing it's one of my I think my
- 16:25mom or my dad are both one of their favorite movies and I
- 16:29wanted to see it as an adult. You cannot stream it anywhere
- 16:33because of the producer. It's not the right one and I'm
- 16:39gonna show my. Was that Weinstein?
- 16:42I was gonna say Winehouse. Yeah, Jesus Christ.
- 16:44Maybe Winehouse produced it. So I think that's one of the
- 16:50movies that he produced. Yeah, but he doesn't have like
- 16:54any part in it or something. Yeah, I mean, that's the same
- 17:00with Woody Allen. Woody Allen, what did he do?
- 17:06Married his daughter. Did he really?
- 17:08Yeah. Is that the guy from Employee of
- 17:12the Month? Employee of the month?
- 17:17Yeah. Is that the one with DAX?
- 17:18Shepard Cook. Dax Shepard.
- 17:20Yeah. Woody Allen's in that I.
- 17:23Don't think so. I thought so.
- 17:25I don't, I don't leave them right.
- 17:27There be insane if Woody Allen was an employee of the month.
- 17:31It's right there. Yeah.
- 17:34Is he really? I think who am I thinking of?
- 17:42Well, I guess this is the This is the Entertainment episode all
- 17:45about movies. I guess I don't.
- 17:53Jessica Simpson was in it. I forgot she was in it.
- 17:56Comment. Leave it, are you?
- 17:57Thinking Andy Dick. Yep.
- 18:00That's. Not remotely the same.
- 18:03Oh my God, I saw. I saw.
- 18:06Woody Dick. I saw Andy Dick.
- 18:10Andy Allen, the second line. Of the cast and I was like,
- 18:13that's got to be who she's talking that's.
- 18:14So funny I was. Like, there's no way.
- 18:18So funny. Woody Allen and Andy Dick up.
- 18:21You know what's the saddest thing in the world?
- 18:22Me. And no, you're hilarious.
- 18:26The saddest thing in the world. And I don't support anything
- 18:31that he's done. Andy Dick.
- 18:34But the drugs? Oh my gosh.
- 18:38Hook that man. Oh my gosh.
- 18:40And I, I, I don't support him. I, I think he deserves
- 18:43everything that he's got now. But Jesus, the drugs took him
- 18:48like goodness, like when people are like, it's a, it's a disease
- 18:52at bat. He got he got it bad man, and it
- 18:57it sucks too, because he was in community, the TV show and he he
- 19:01was doing great and he looked great.
- 19:03And it was this like he had a like a long standing role for a
- 19:07couple episodes and I was watching the stuff as it came
- 19:11out. He was like he was living in an
- 19:15RV with a dude. I'm I'm assuming some kind of
- 19:19drugs involved because they had their whole other thing and I
- 19:23guess they were paying people to be like not not ex celebrities,
- 19:28but like down on their luck celebrities.
- 19:31They were paying them to come into this house or come into the
- 19:34RV and literally just live stream while they're just doing
- 19:39stuff being in the RV and talking like hours at a time.
- 19:43And they'd pay them 500 bucks to be on the stream.
- 19:46And because it's a an down and out celebrity, it got a bunch of
- 19:52views and a bunch of donations and a bunch of money.
- 19:55And by the end of it, these guys were making 10 grand off of a
- 19:59live stream and they'd pay Andy Dick 500 bucks.
- 20:03And come to find out he's like creeping into people's houses
- 20:08and like, I mean, sexually assaulting people like left and
- 20:13right. And now he's like completely
- 20:15blackballed. Like, no, absolutely not.
- 20:18You are. The worst little monster that's
- 20:21been around like don't come back, don't ask again.
- 20:23Like it's it's crazy. Same thing with Chevy Chase.
- 20:27Dude I I used. To you liked a lot of this stuff
- 20:32that he did. I don't like the National
- 20:35Lampoon stuff. But everything other than.
- 20:38Christmas vacation is the best. Everything but National Lampoon
- 20:41with Chevy Chase, all of his other stuff, I'm I'm happy to
- 20:44watch it or was. And now he's just such a Dick
- 20:48like God, I can't watch his shit anymore.
- 20:52Which is also a shame because he he was great in community.
- 20:55Same show, same thing you get around Dan Harmon, man.
- 21:00He just shows people who you actually are.
- 21:02Like it's he's too meta. He just becomes the aura around
- 21:08you. Like no, I I can't imagine
- 21:12working with. I literally can't imagine
- 21:14working with Dan Harmon like that dude.
- 21:17He, he reminds me of Tolkien. Yeah, like, not that like
- 21:22metaphysical, but like, he just has that thing about him.
- 21:25Like, I barely want to talk to you because you're you're
- 21:301,000,000 miles away at all times.
- 21:32Like I can never bring you back down to earth to have a
- 21:35conversation. He's just just wigged out at all
- 21:38times. Like I I assume but.
- 21:43I feel the same way. Middle Earth.
- 21:46Middle Earth. Jesus Christ.
- 21:47I feel the same way about it's. Good.
- 21:51Oh, what's his face? I see his.
- 21:53I see his stupid face right now. His stupid face.
- 21:56His stupid face. What's he in?
- 21:59No, no, not an actor. Owner of Facebook.
- 22:02What's his tropical What? Thunder.
- 22:04Yeah. The Zuck.
- 22:05Yeah, the Zuck, I feel like he just every, everything that I
- 22:11saw when he was trying to get like people to like him again.
- 22:16The surfing with the fucking American flag in a suit.
- 22:20Not before. How out of touch or that are you
- 22:23like? Did you see his live streams in
- 22:27his home? Yes.
- 22:28What was? Behind him, sweet baby rays.
- 22:31A gallon of sweet baby rays. It was like unopened.
- 22:34Unopened on a shelf in his living room or offense or
- 22:39something. I don't understand.
- 22:42And. I think he's like #4 richest.
- 22:45Yeah, something like that. He.
- 22:46Doesn't know what that is. He doesn't eat that no like.
- 22:51He just was like, go buy me something that the common people
- 22:55like the. Poor the.
- 22:57Poor. Oh, cool, this is, this is cool.
- 23:02I'll set this up on the shelf so people understand.
- 23:04It's like, why would you do that?
- 23:06I think everybody thought the same thing.
- 23:08They're like, this dude is clearly an alien.
- 23:11Like they couldn't be more. Clear.
- 23:14I like the robot thought process on it, especially since he would
- 23:21like combat it and make him look even more like a robot because
- 23:25he's oh, I'm not, I'm not a robot.
- 23:27I like smoking meats, guys. Oh my God, I remember that one.
- 23:32Yeah, Oh yeah. He was out smoking meats and he
- 23:34was trying to talk about it and getting everything.
- 23:37Wrong, he went on. Rogan, yeah.
- 23:40He was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I definitely go out and I bow
- 23:43hunt. And he was like, oh, what kind
- 23:44of bow you use? He's like, I don't know.
- 23:45He's like, what do you hunt? He's like, I don't know.
- 23:48He's just. I'm assuming he had a guide, but
- 23:52at a certain like. Or it was virtual?
- 23:55That's a good point. Well, no.
- 23:56It's meta. At least if it's virtual, you
- 23:59could be like, yeah, I want this one with the grip and the this
- 24:02munch tensile strength and da da da da da like he's.
- 24:04Trying to test it out or he has people to test it out.
- 24:07He's like, Oh yeah, I love bow hunting.
- 24:09It's like, Oh yeah. Which one do you like?
- 24:12The one that people like? Yeah, the.
- 24:14One that people like. Yeah, the metaverse.
- 24:18What kind of animals do you hunt?
- 24:21There's animals. I thought it was people like
- 24:23what do you? Mean.
- 24:24Oh my God, that's right. He's talking about GTA5.
- 24:28Long pig. That's the meaty smokes his long
- 24:32pig. Oh my God.
- 24:34The one we're. Going to have to put a like.
- 24:38Trigger warning. A warning on this episode, none
- 24:42of what we say is. Actual.
- 24:44Actual thing about Mark Zuckerberg we love you Mark
- 24:48Zuckerberg please send our podcasts out to everyone I.
- 24:51Wonder, I wonder if like they're AIS like Grok and whatever he's
- 24:57using for Meta, like if it just constantly scans, that's like
- 25:02100%. You said his name.
- 25:04Yeah, you said his name. 100% it's already known very well
- 25:08that Facebook listens into conversations.
- 25:11Well, I'm saying like do they actually like do the AI scan the
- 25:16Internet for like audio files or?
- 25:19Like 100 percent, 100 percent, 100%.
- 25:23I wonder if you could game that like an algorithm.
- 25:24Probably. I was, I was looking at it the
- 25:27other day. They said something, something
- 25:30like something Bernie Sanders. Yeah, they said the top, there's
- 25:45like 8 people that own like 90% of the stock market and the
- 25:50other 10% own like 8% of the stock market.
- 25:53It's like or 90% own eight. It was some kind of Bernie
- 25:56Sanders thing, the 1% and the other 1% own the 1%.
- 26:03But I was like so who gives a shit if it falls 20%?
- 26:09Like your 4O1K drops 15 grand. You're still only 100 grand I.
- 26:14Still love, love the Bernie Sanders talking like every
- 26:23speech he did. And then when it came out he was
- 26:25a multimillionaire, it went from we need to tax the rich, the
- 26:29millionaires. It went from that to we need to
- 26:31tax the billionaires as soon as it came out that he was a
- 26:36multimillionaire like. God I think I voted for him like
- 26:4220-12 maybe. He was. 2016.
- 26:46Was it 2016? 2016 was his was his year that
- 26:50he got like railroaded by the Democrat.
- 26:53Oh, then that was the one. Yeah.
- 26:54Because they literally were like.
- 26:55They they literally shut him down so that they could put
- 26:58Clinton up. I still.
- 27:00You were a felon in 2012. You weren't able to vote. 2012
- 27:05was I. You were 19.
- 27:08No, no, no, it got expunged. I think the only the only ones
- 27:14who were able to see it at that point were like the FBI and
- 27:16Disney, 'cause they used the FBI just.
- 27:18Totally kidding. You were never an actual felon.
- 27:22I definitely was you sure yes it was a Class 2 felony yes yes it
- 27:27was no, it was definitely on that record No, they at 18 they
- 27:32expunged it. I.
- 27:33Swear you were like 17. When it happened, I was 15.
- 27:39It changes every. It does not.
- 27:41You always say. Absolutely not.
- 27:43It happened at 15. You said 18 at one point, No,
- 27:46Yes you did. I feel so left out right now,
- 27:49not even get a lot. She's got her back to me and you
- 27:52guys are. Just talking, I'm so sorry.
- 27:57I wish you guys could see this because this is like, this is my
- 28:01life. No, I I that's fine.
- 28:03But. It's been a long week.
- 28:05This is this is my life. Yeah, we we definitely need the
- 28:07studio. We need the studio in A in AV
- 28:11shape or AU shape or something like that.
- 28:13But this'll do the the living room.
- 28:16I'll make sure to have a IS working.
- 28:20We need foot rest for Amber so she doesn't have to turn her
- 28:23back to me. We need, I'm so sorry, we need
- 28:26RV chairs. The swivel ones, yes.
- 28:31Just sit there and swivel the whole time.
- 28:34I'll just buy a. I'll just buy two more of that
- 28:36desk chair that I got with the foot rest out and we'll just
- 28:39like set that up as our Yeah, those will work.
- 28:43That's what Rogan uses. No, but I got arrested at 15 and
- 28:50one of the charges was like a Class 2 or whatever, the second
- 28:55one felony. And it was, I mean, it was a big
- 28:59deal. And then at 18 it was expunged
- 29:01and I, I applied to Disney and they were like, hey, look what
- 29:06we found. I was like, Oh my God, they used
- 29:08the FBI. I was like, holy shit.
- 29:11I was like, everybody else is like legally I don't think they
- 29:15can even are allowed to like see that expunged record.
- 29:19And Disney was like, hey, look, look, look, look.
- 29:21I was like, Oh my God, they were like so fast.
- 29:24It was like a week later I was like, holy shit, man.
- 29:26They were on top of that. But you know, I was like, I
- 29:32think it was breaking and entering and burglary, burglary,
- 29:37burglary of a structure with a weapon.
- 29:41The weapon was a pocket knife. Oh fantastic.
- 29:44Of course. And that, that's the thing.
- 29:46It wasn't even like at the time. It was after the fact.
- 29:52And they're like, do you have that with you?
- 29:53I was like, I always have a pocket knife with me.
- 29:55I'm a 15 year old boy in the South.
- 29:58Like. I sleep with it and they're
- 30:00like, well, since you had it on you and you told us you had it
- 30:02on you, that's another one. And I'm like, oh, you don't you
- 30:06be like that. Hi.
- 30:10She's just knocking everything over.
- 30:11Yeah. That's my dog who's.
- 30:15Your little baby. Who's your little baby?
- 30:18He's got some inputs on that topic.
- 30:24He's like your alarm went off, it's time.
- 30:28I was hoping we'd get get through one before I had to feed
- 30:31them babies. We got we're about halfway
- 30:35through this one. Yeah, that'll be all right.
- 30:39I am excited, man, for next week.
- 30:42We got so much stuff going on and so much stuff to do and so
- 30:46much stuff to get done. But it's, it's all, it's all
- 30:49moving right along. We got everything signed today
- 30:51and we're probably going to go back to the CPA and finish the
- 30:5624 and get all that done too. And boats worked out.
- 31:01And. Containers worked out.
- 31:04Hopefully we're we're just moving right along next week.
- 31:08I'm, I'm stoked. I'm so stoked.
- 31:10Everything's finally moving like it should be.
- 31:13Well, it's nice to have that snowball effect whenever you get
- 31:16that, like that ball rolling it. Took just.
- 31:19Oh, it took a while. Oh yeah, I mean it always like.
- 31:22Three years. But it's nice that that's,
- 31:26that's rolling right along and I feel like that's, that's going
- 31:32that way for me too. I mean, it's just I'm, I'm a lot
- 31:37earlier in the process than where you guys are with your,
- 31:40your stuff. But I feel that, you know, that
- 31:45small ball is is starting to roll a little bit.
- 31:48Yeah, so. I wish I could do that with
- 31:50debt. Yeah, that's my my least
- 31:55snowball Y task is debt, man. I just cannot get ahead of that
- 31:59stuff. I'm still, I'm still debating on
- 32:01whether or not I want to do the bankruptcy.
- 32:03I say we were talking about it today.
- 32:05It's like, well, I mean, at this point it's been 5 or 6 years,
- 32:11five years since COVID. And I mean, it is what it is,
- 32:16but at, at a certain point, stuff's just going to start
- 32:19falling off. And if I do the bankruptcy now,
- 32:22it'll be, would you say 7 to 9 years I.
- 32:25Think. So that it stays on the I mean,
- 32:29I don't know, maybe I just wait it out, who knows.
- 32:31It just sucks man, having that debt over your head.
- 32:35It's just stressor. At any, at any point they can
- 32:38come up, it's a multibillion dollar corporation.
- 32:41At any time they could be like, well, we'll take that.
- 32:44They just take it from me like it's a, it's a stressor, man.
- 32:48I'm, I'm hoping, I'm hoping sooner than later I can really
- 32:54get that like snowballed because as soon as the debt's gone,
- 32:57dude, I, I'm free and clear. I'm I'm ready to actually start
- 33:01like doing some stuff and it sucks that it got that bad, but
- 33:07you give a kid a credit card. Happens to the best.
- 33:09Of us, yeah. You give.
- 33:10You give a kid like 9 credit cards and personal loans and
- 33:14student debt and car loans and mortgages.
- 33:19It wasn't my student debt. I.
- 33:21Didn't even get the freaking degree out of it, but you, you
- 33:24just say yes to a kid, literally a kid.
- 33:27And of course they're going to take the freaking money 'cause
- 33:30they don't understand what compounding interest on every
- 33:35$1000. Like it just adds up and adds
- 33:37up. I think at one point man, I
- 33:39swear to you, at one point I think I had like 350,000 in
- 33:42debt. Including a house I was.
- 33:44Like 25 Yeah, with $350,000 in debt.
- 33:48How do you do that dude? That's crazy.
- 33:51Most of that. Wasn't able to get debt since I
- 33:53was 18. Most of that was a house, and
- 33:57half of it was also like me too. It wasn't just you as you and
- 34:04me. Our debt as a a marriage total.
- 34:07But that's including two cars, a house, and I think like four or
- 34:14five credit cards together. I say we had a personal loan.
- 34:20We had God, we had so much shit it.
- 34:23It's just crazy. It was seven years, dude.
- 34:26I didn't. I didn't even get a credit card
- 34:27till I was 18. And in seven years, it was 350
- 34:30grand. Oh my God.
- 34:33What do you mean? Like how, how does how does a
- 34:36multi, I don't know how they do it 'cause they're evil.
- 34:39But how, how is it legal for them to be like, yeah, yeah, we
- 34:42know his finances. Like he had to send us his tax
- 34:45return to get this approved. So we know what his finances
- 34:48are. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:49Totally approve him for another 50 grand.
- 34:51He'll definitely pay it back. Like he he'll pay it back.
- 34:55It's, I think it's something like 18 years on a credit card.
- 35:00I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 35:02Like. It's it's less about, Oh yeah,
- 35:06he'll pay it back. It's more about, Oh yeah, he'll
- 35:08pay it back forever, forever so that we can continue to collect
- 35:13interest on interest. Or if he doesn't, we'll
- 35:16immediately sell off it and we'll make the money back
- 35:19anyways. Who cares?
- 35:20Bury him. Yeah.
- 35:21I, I'm, I wish I had to listen to everybody, everybody when I
- 35:28was younger and just heard what they said because I heard every
- 35:31one of them do not get a credit card, don't even get 1.
- 35:34And I was like, eh, it won't be that bad.
- 35:35So I got one. I was like, I'll get another
- 35:37one. We need a new washer and dryer.
- 35:39I need another this. I need something of that.
- 35:42We, we need a trip overseas. I'll just put it on a credit
- 35:46card like a moron and then yeah, it eats you alive, man.
- 35:52It's also like the, the inflationary of your lifestyle.
- 35:57You're like, well, I can do this and I can do that and I can do
- 35:59this and I can do that. And then by the time you buy
- 36:02your first house, you're like, Oh my God, I didn't even think
- 36:05about like the $900 in credit card payments every month.
- 36:10That could be a mortgage like, or at least back then it was a
- 36:14mortgage. Our first house I think the
- 36:16mortgage was like 980 a month. Yeah.
- 36:18That was 2016. 2015. Yeah.
- 36:25So 2015, just think about that. In 10 years it went from 980 a
- 36:31month to 4 grand. We are doomed again.
- 36:37I don't care that that it dropped 20%.
- 36:39I hope it drops 50. I hope we have a great reset and
- 36:42a Great Depression like I hope. I hope everybody gets into
- 36:45trades. I hope the Lehman Brothers esque
- 36:48equity, the private equity firms, I hope they all fold.
- 36:51I hope they all get short shorted and margin called and
- 36:55and other big words I've learned from Wolf of Wall Street.
- 37:00I think it's. What a movie.
- 37:02Love that movie. Yes, fantastic movie.
- 37:07I I I definitely had luck because I had ACPA as a mother.
- 37:13So it was good point. Very much like Nah and it also
- 37:19helped that I wasn't allowed to have a real job until after I
- 37:25graduated high school 'cause my parents wanted me to and, and
- 37:30all of my siblings, they wanted us to experience high school
- 37:35without having to have the looming, you know, requirements
- 37:39of job. So we did like summer jobs.
- 37:41So I like I did umpiring and did work at the baseball and soccer
- 37:47fields at the, you know, park and, you know, stuff like.
- 37:50That Did you ever cut grass? Did I ever cut grass there?
- 37:53No, we weren't allowed to. What?
- 37:55Because they had. Like on the field.
- 37:58Yeah. Oh.
- 37:58I see. Yeah.
- 38:00I never cut grass though. I, I mean, I cut my own like
- 38:02yard, but I got to cut grass that way 'cause I was doing the
- 38:07umpiring baseball, you know, all the sports.
- 38:09And I want one of those Rotary mowers so bad.
- 38:11Yeah, just the push Rotary. Oh my God, man, I don't know
- 38:15when I'd ever use it, but I want one.
- 38:16They're pretty. Oh yeah, they're.
- 38:17It's like an old hot rod. They're so pretty, like it's old
- 38:20school. It's so nice.
- 38:21But. Mechanical.
- 38:23That's I, I obviously everybody can't have the same upbringing
- 38:28as everybody else, but if, if, if at all possible, I think
- 38:31that's the best way to do it. Yeah, if you want to stay in
- 38:34school because I, I I just couldn't do it, man.
- 38:37I just could not do it. I could not be in that setting.
- 38:40I just wasn't for me. I wasn't fond of it, but a lot
- 38:46of what I wanted to do, like I wanted to play baseball my
- 38:50senior year. Yeah, I very easily could have
- 38:53just graduated at the end of my junior year because when I
- 38:57moved, the requirements for graduation were different at the
- 39:00school I moved to my senior year than it was my junior year.
- 39:04Those Catholic schools that move you around?
- 39:08But yeah, so I I could have, but I was like, Nah, I want to play
- 39:11baseball. So that was the only reason I
- 39:12stayed in for my senior year. Yeah, for Foley was because I
- 39:18wanted to play baseball and because I knew that was it.
- 39:23I wasn't going anywhere, you know, that was it for me.
- 39:26So no, it, it, they, they raised it the right way because I still
- 39:34had to work on the farm. So I went down to my
- 39:37grandparents farm and talked with chores and that's that type
- 39:40of stuff. I still had to, you know, I had
- 39:43a list of chores. We were responsible for mowing
- 39:47the grass, you know, different things, doing the umpiring in
- 39:54the summer, doing baseball field work, soccer field work, you
- 39:58know, helping around with that, with the youth leagues, like all
- 40:03of that different stuff. But I did not have a real per SE
- 40:11job, like not even in a restaurant until after I
- 40:14graduated high school and I was in college because they they
- 40:18were like, we will pay for the stuff required for school and
- 40:22that, but you're going to experience.
- 40:29High school, so you're going to be allowed to go to the
- 40:32different events that the school has and you know.
- 40:36I went the other way. Yeah, I worked under the table
- 40:39since I was like 15, probably like earlier, like 13.
- 40:43And I, I did construction, I did demo, I did drywall, I did tile,
- 40:47I did plumbing, electrical, landscaping, literally
- 40:51landscaping forever years. I was landscaping for everybody.
- 40:55And by the time I turned 18, I'm like, this is a scam.
- 40:59Why would I go to college? I have so much money.
- 41:02I was like, I could just do this with what I have now.
- 41:06I don't need the piece of paper and I haven't yet.
- 41:08I'll say nobody's checked me on it yet.
- 41:11I did. I did management for a multi
- 41:14billion dollar company. No one ever checked.
- 41:17Yeah, there they were. Like, we don't care.
- 41:19You do a great job. You've been doing it for three
- 41:21years. You make a ton of money.
- 41:23I say the only reason I left because I got hurt.
- 41:25I'd, I'd still be in UPS if I didn't get hurt.
- 41:29I say I I just didn't. I didn't like the, the school.
- 41:31I didn't like the atmosphere. I didn't like the, I just
- 41:34couldn't do it, man. I couldn't, I couldn't sit in
- 41:35the damn classroom as soon as that door shut, man.
- 41:38I felt like that scene out of Peaky Blinders where Cillians
- 41:42got a gun in his mouth. Get Me Out of here.
- 41:46Oh my God, I just couldn't. I couldn't handle it man.
- 41:50And it's not for everyone. But yeah, I mean, it's that's
- 41:56the that's the whole thing, though.
- 41:57Like I was I was taught I did not get a credit card until Do
- 42:04you mind like licking my leg? Get his foot, get him cruise.
- 42:08Do not get my foot. Get him cruise.
- 42:10But I did not get my first credit card until two years
- 42:17after I graduate. I was 20 when I got my first
- 42:20credit card. And that was a store credit
- 42:22card. So it doesn't even really count.
- 42:25And I only got it because I was working at Kohl's at the time
- 42:28and I just got it to do another credit application.
- 42:33Oh yeah. We, we hit our limit for the the
- 42:36day. Yay.
- 42:38And then I never used it. I think they cancelled it on me
- 42:42because I never used it. They're like, yeah, we don't.
- 42:46We don't want to spend money on you anymore.
- 42:48That was my problem. I had two secured when I got out
- 42:52of high school. And then I had Citi card, I had
- 42:55Amex, I had Merrick, I had everybody.
- 42:57And then Amex was like, hey, you're 25, you want an $8000
- 43:01limit. I was like, yeah, yes, I do.
- 43:04And then I ran that thing all the way up.
- 43:06Yeah, I'd I'd absolutely cratered my credit.
- 43:09Yeah, that's rough. I still don't know what I want
- 43:14to do. I'll figure it out soon here.
- 43:17I mean, we got the return done. So now I can actually start
- 43:19moving along with it. I'm still paying the attorney.
- 43:23I've been paying the attorney since last September.
- 43:25They they stopped messaging me in December because I quit
- 43:28replying. They're like, Hey, when when are
- 43:30you going to get us these documents?
- 43:31I'm like, I will, I'll have time next week.
- 43:34And we were still going back and forth to Boca.
- 43:36So it's like I'll get it when I get it.
- 43:39And I never did get it. So they just stopped.
- 43:41They stopped reaching out, but they keep taking the money every
- 43:44month. They're like, we'll just take it
- 43:46until he's done. And then when he's ready to do
- 43:48it, he'll have the the account full and we'll just do it for
- 43:51him. But I just, I still haven't done
- 43:52anything. I don't know.
- 43:59It's been so long. It's been so long, at a certain
- 44:05point I can just wait another two years and let it all fall
- 44:09off or I can get it done now and then try and fight the
- 44:12bankruptcy for another 5-6 years.
- 44:16There's a couple things you can do.
- 44:17I know it stays on there, but they can actually like, OK,
- 44:20since you've done that, you've taken classes, you've done this,
- 44:23you've got the certificates, you're clearly you learned your
- 44:26lesson. We'll we'll understand.
- 44:29Like what happened and you were at a literal child.
- 44:33You were a little literal child with alcoholic like dependency
- 44:39and we understand the situation. Like everything was fine and
- 44:43then COVID and that just that was the camel on the back, man.
- 44:47I just couldn't do it anymore. I was like, I can't, I can't
- 44:50keep working this job through a pandemic.
- 44:52I'm the only one who's not locked inside.
- 44:55I'm terrified. And if I have to come back to
- 44:58this place for another day, I'll, I'll just lose my mind.
- 45:03And that was it. I, I should have done it so
- 45:05much, so much more planned. And I wish I, I still wish I had
- 45:13like it's, it's one of my regrets.
- 45:14It's not a big one, but it's a burg regret.
- 45:16I wish I would have taken advantage of what was there for
- 45:20me. I wish I had got all my medical
- 45:22work done and all my teeth done and had the insurance and got my
- 45:25401K maxed out and I just, I was like, I can't do it anymore.
- 45:29I just cannot do it anymore. Well, I I truly believe that if
- 45:36it's not the right fit, even if you were to stick around and do
- 45:40that, you would hate yourself even more right now.
- 45:44Oh yeah, no, I wouldn't have made it.
- 45:46Yeah, that's why I was drinking so much.
- 45:49It was just, it was literally soul crushing, like every day,
- 45:53dude. And it was like it was that it
- 45:55was that combination of like, I hate, I hate the management, I
- 46:00hate the the company as a whole because of how just scummy it
- 46:05was. Like I know how bad they treat
- 46:09people and it's like I do everything.
- 46:11I'm not on that. I'm not even on that side of the
- 46:12company. I'm the the logistics side and I
- 46:16still see how bad they treat people and how much they're just
- 46:19so scummy with it. And I just couldn't do it, man.
- 46:22I had AI had one e-mail and I think I saved it on the like
- 46:28Outlook at work just in case, just in case, just in case.
- 46:32And it was a, a pretty high up employee, like high up.
- 46:37And in an e-mail, he actually put in writing, We don't do
- 46:41churches. They don't pay.
- 46:43I was like, Oh my God, man, if that got out, you would be gone.
- 46:48Like, you would no longer work here.
- 46:51That's crazy. And this is not at UPS.
- 46:54No, not at UPS. No UPS was great.
- 46:56I know I just I for the podcast and anybody else?
- 46:59No, not UPS. I.
- 47:01I it was not UPS. UPS is fantastic.
- 47:06Union baby. It's, it's, it's, it's tough.
- 47:09It's a Oh my God, it's a terribly rough.
- 47:12It broke. Me, yeah, but.
- 47:15They actually try to care about their employees, so.
- 47:22No, they understood my, my shoulders gave out after like 3
- 47:26years and they were like, we'll bump you down like on labor.
- 47:31And because you are management, you don't have a union, but we
- 47:35understand you're also fucking like you're a killer.
- 47:38Like we want you to stay. And if you literally can't do
- 47:42the job like that anymore, we'll tweak it a little bit to where
- 47:46you don't have to do that exact thing that's hurting you.
- 47:50And that, that helped a lot. But man, I, that's another one.
- 47:55I wish, I wish I'd have worked it out with them.
- 47:58But that's the other thing. The only manager that I had at
- 48:01UPS that I had a problem with, and I mean like I had a problem
- 48:04with, everybody had a problem with, they moved him around like
- 48:06a priest. They moved him from hub to hub
- 48:09because he would only last like 6 months before people like I'm
- 48:12leaving, I'm walking out, we're all going on strike because of
- 48:16that guy. He's a monster.
- 48:21What's really funny now I look back on it, that dude was a
- 48:26beast. He probably made like a couple
- 48:31of those hubs the the absolute juggernaut that they were
- 48:37because he was a beast dude. He just, he had the, he had the
- 48:41vision, he had the drive. He was one of those guys that
- 48:44power walk because it was faster than sprinting.
- 48:47He was a crazy person. Like he he would run Iron Man's
- 48:52and then come into work after an I, I'm like, what's wrong with
- 48:56you? Like he was, he was, he was an
- 48:58insane person, But like looking back on it now, like I, I hated
- 49:02working for him, but he was the guy who wanted dude.
- 49:04He he would make a company. Like and then he left when you
- 49:08left. Yeah, of course I got hurt and
- 49:12me and him had a, an issue and he was like, well, it's been
- 49:15like 3 weeks and I'm like, yeah, it's, it's going to be a little
- 49:18bit longer. It's a fractured spine, bud.
- 49:21Like I can't get up, I can't walk.
- 49:24And he was like, well, it's been like 3 weeks.
- 49:26So we're going to have to like let you go.
- 49:27And I was like, how about I quit Jackass?
- 49:29And I was like, I hung up with him and I called HR and they're
- 49:32like, so what's, what's the deal?
- 49:34And I'm like, honestly, I didn't even want to come back because
- 49:36of this guy. Like I, I'd rather just leave
- 49:39and take the benefits with me and that guy can go fuck
- 49:42himself. And then, I kid you not, it was
- 49:44it was a good two or three months later and everybody was
- 49:47like, yay. He left.
- 49:48And I was like, no, yeah, I was pissed.
- 49:53They they all texted me. They're like, hey, come back.
- 49:57He's gone. The last job I had I found out
- 50:03well I had an issue with one person in particular and then
- 50:09also like higher. UPS company that you and I
- 50:13worked at. No, OK, no, there was a, there
- 50:16was somewhere between that. But anyways, so she I had an
- 50:23issue with her 'cause she was this power hungry person that
- 50:31didn't understand. She wasn't like high up, but she
- 50:36was like entry level manager at best, but she felt like she was
- 50:40like GM of location and like, oh, I got all this power, you
- 50:45know, I got a, I've got a Gray shirt, you know, like.
- 50:49Those are my favorite. Yeah, it it spiraled and
- 50:52spiraled to the point where I got I had AI didn't get written
- 51:00up for it, but I had a talking to because my shoelaces had Gray
- 51:05in it when it was supposed to be full black.
- 51:08And I was like, that was like the Oh yeah, 100%.
- 51:13And she was the manager giving me the talk.
- 51:17And there was one of the former GMs who got moved to a different
- 51:21location he was video chatting in so that there could be two
- 51:25managers in the meeting 'cause they always had to have two
- 51:27managers in the meeting. And she was like, oh, we're not
- 51:31writing you up. And I told her to her face, I
- 51:33was like, I don't care if you write me up for it.
- 51:36Yeah, in fact, write me up for it.
- 51:38It's not going to change anything.
- 51:41And just gave her this whole fucking spiel and it got to the
- 51:44point where she's like, we're not.
- 51:45And she wasn't listening to what I was saying we're.
- 51:47Not. She's like, we're not writing
- 51:49you up. You don't have to worry about
- 51:50that. I was like, I do not care.
- 51:52I don't think you understand this.
- 51:54I don't care if you were to write me up or not.
- 51:57Write me up. It doesn't change how little I
- 52:00fucking care about this. And it spiraled, spiraled,
- 52:05spiraled into two minutes after that.
- 52:09I basically screamed at her. You can write me up.
- 52:13Do it now. Write me up for this because I'm
- 52:16yelling at you. And we're done here.
- 52:18And I got up and slammed the chair into the desk and walked
- 52:21out the door and walked to the number two guy at that location
- 52:25who was out. He had to be outside 'cause
- 52:28there was only three of us at the location at that time.
- 52:31So he was outside and taking care of customers.
- 52:34And I walked up. I was like, I might be getting
- 52:36fired just he was like what happened?
- 52:39And then he gets a call from from the regional guy who was
- 52:43the one that told me to or was the one that told that whole
- 52:48thing to happen. And they had a conversation as I
- 52:51was said in their fuming like steam coming out of my ears
- 52:56fuming. And he came up to me.
- 53:00He goes, how long have you been here?
- 53:02I go this is our 14. Unbelievable.
- 53:06Yeah, they decided to do that after after 12 hours.
- 53:10Meanwhile I was supposed to leave at hour 8 but because
- 53:14somebody didn't show up I had to stay and they never told me I
- 53:18could leave even though there was 2 managers there.
- 53:20I thought you meant how long have you been employed there.
- 53:22No, no. How long you're?
- 53:23Like this is hour 14. I'm like holy shit, how?
- 53:25Long have you been there for the day.
- 53:27She pushed a button. Yeah.
- 53:29Oh yeah. No.
- 53:31So that whole thing, they, they decided to ignore the shoelace,
- 53:38which is wild that it took me screaming at another human being
- 53:44for them to realize, oh, it's not that big of a deal.
- 53:48There are other issues at hand here.
- 53:51Yeah. So they they didn't write me up
- 53:54for screaming at her. They did not write me up for
- 53:57leaving the manager meeting and cussing out two managers because
- 54:01I basically told her I was like, fuck you, fuck this company.
- 54:04And and I turned to the dude who's on the video chat with the
- 54:08camera facing me, and I pointed at him.
- 54:10I go fuck you too. He had no business.
- 54:14I didn't know who this guy was. I was just pissed.
- 54:17This poor guy. You can't go fuck yourself.
- 54:20You can't go fuck yourself. Yeah, pretty much.
- 54:24But yeah, so all all that whole thing, well, I think she took
- 54:28that personally. And you don't.
- 54:31Say 2 weeks later, yeah, two weeks later she.
- 54:36Quit. No, she basically turned into
- 54:40this like had to puff out her chest and, you know, big arms
- 54:46and act like this all high and mighty, even though I had done
- 54:50literally all of the closing duties and she was mad at me for
- 54:53not going in and helping them with something that wasn't part
- 54:56of the closing duties that, you know, whatever.
- 55:00And she did that. And I left after that, came back
- 55:07in on my next day of work and I walked up to the number two.
- 55:09I was like, this is my last day. I'm done.
- 55:11And everybody applause. Oh, pretty much.
- 55:14Well, I found out that I was not the only one.
- 55:19She tried to get all high and mighty on somebody, did not do
- 55:24exactly what she asked of them, which apparently what she asked
- 55:29of them was against, like company policy.
- 55:32So they were like, I'll do it this way or I'll do this, but
- 55:36not that because it's against company policy.
- 55:39Well, she took it out on them by putting chemicals in their water
- 55:43bottles. What?
- 55:46Yeah, like. Did she get fired?
- 55:48Oh yeah. I hope, I hope she had charges
- 55:52pressed on her. That's insane.
- 55:54Yeah, chemicals like full on car wash chemicals.
- 55:58Jesus. Yeah, because they did not do
- 56:01what she asked them to do. And that's why you're a
- 56:03misogynist today. No.
- 56:08No, that no, that's not the reason.
- 56:09That's not the. Reason.
- 56:10I have more reasons than just. That that's so funny.
- 56:14But yeah, it's it's, it's nice to hear that she got what was
- 56:21coming to her. I.
- 56:24Louise. I'm just glad that from what I
- 56:28from what I hear, Gen. Z and Gen.
- 56:31Alpha are the, the like the evolution of us, like we
- 56:40understood like no, no, no, we have to keep the job.
- 56:43And even if we hate it, like we've got to tough it out like
- 56:46we, it's a lot of yada yada. And Gen.
- 56:49Z and Gen. Alpha, from what I hear is just
- 56:51like, Nope, next. Yeah, that makes me so happy.
- 56:56Like I, I, I would love to see some of these high and mighty
- 57:01take their job too seriously. Just middle managers just
- 57:08literally lose their minds. I don't know what's happening.
- 57:11Like we lost like half our workforce this week and we don't
- 57:14know why. Like I, I, I see the ones where
- 57:17like, like a whole Starbucks just walks out, walks out the
- 57:20whole place. They just shut the doors behind
- 57:22them. I'm like, Oh my God, it's so
- 57:23good. Oh, it's fantastic.
- 57:26That makes me so happy. Yeah.
- 57:28And the the problem though with with it is there is no, there is
- 57:37no true people who do wrong needs to have the wrong happen
- 57:44to them kind of mentality. It's just wherever.
- 57:47So like we're dealing with it at our job where we will have
- 57:53people come in and then just like, no, I'm not not doing
- 57:57that. And it's like, what do you mean
- 58:00you're not cleaning at the end of the night in a restaurant?
- 58:05Yeah. What do you mean you're not
- 58:08washing the dishes? No, but that's.
- 58:11Listen, I understand that that is the job, but that's their
- 58:16prerogative. If they say I'm not doing it,
- 58:18you go. That's fine.
- 58:19There's the door. No hard feelings.
- 58:22I'm not even mad. I'm glad you told me instead of
- 58:25taking company time and doing nothing and making my job
- 58:28harder. Please leave.
- 58:30Yeah, I'll see you later. Like it's no problem.
- 58:32I'm glad you said something like.
- 58:34I'm more talking about the turnover has been unreal trying
- 58:40to find somebody, not even a good employee.
- 58:43I I could care less. About a good employee just.
- 58:45An employee to fill that spot that is good enough to be able
- 58:50to fill that spot. Well, that's, that's what I was
- 58:52saying last episode. It's impossible.
- 58:53Yeah. Like trying to hire somebody.
- 58:56Oh my God, man, it's it's impossible.
- 58:59And I get, I get it. I do when literally there's so
- 59:03many opportunities and so, so many other paths that people can
- 59:07do for so much less effort and I don't fault them for that.
- 59:12Why the hell would you want to be a laborer in any place of any
- 59:16service industry when you can be a dozen other things that pay as
- 59:21well, if not more for less effort?
- 59:25Like I understand like some people are like, well, that's
- 59:28lazy. That's this, that's I don't care
- 59:30what you think it is less effort.
- 59:33It's better for them because that's what they want.
- 59:36I, I don't fault them at all. I, I would, I would rather them
- 59:40come in and tell me I, I appreciate the opportunity for
- 59:45the job. Not my fit.
- 59:48Cool, no problem. You want to check now or mailed,
- 59:51I don't care. I'm going to move on to the next
- 59:53one. Like it's not.
- 59:54It's not a problem at all. I'm glad you said it instead of
- 59:57me finding out and then it being a much bigger issue.
- 1:00:00I'm I would rather they just dip like.
- 1:00:03It's, it's great. I I think Gen.
- 1:00:06Z and Jen Alpha, if that's really the case with them, I
- 1:00:08think that's awesome. Yeah, and I, I don't have a a
- 1:00:12problem with that idea. It's just in certain especially
- 1:00:17I've seen it, there are people that we have kept on for too
- 1:00:21long because they did not, they just did a crap job.
- 1:00:25They did not say it, they just did a crap job.
- 1:00:29Like one dude literally would if we told him, OK, you finished
- 1:00:35this and you're good to go. Like, hey, go ahead and finish
- 1:00:40up the dishes that you are currently doing.
- 1:00:42You have this much to do and then you're good to go.
- 1:00:46You don't have to hang out any longer, you know, clock out and
- 1:00:49leave. He would then take those dishes
- 1:00:53and fill the sink up to the brim and then dump those dishes in
- 1:00:56under the soap line so you couldn't see them and then walk
- 1:00:59out the door. See, I don't fault that man.
- 1:01:04It. But that's the thing.
- 1:01:05If you didn't write him up the first time he got away, he got
- 1:01:09away with. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:01:10He got screamed at multiple times.
- 1:01:12Nobody should be screaming at an employee.
- 1:01:14Nobody should be screaming in the in the not.
- 1:01:17In the not in the sense, but like, don't do that.
- 1:01:22Talk to him, but like never, but nobody should ever.
- 1:01:26I I think if you if you scream at an employee.
- 1:01:31Or at least talk down to them too cause like I've had that
- 1:01:35happen to me. Well, that's my I think if a
- 1:01:39talk down to like a condescending yeah, that's up to
- 1:01:43you to take up with his boss, their boss.
- 1:01:45What if they don't have a boss? Then you fucking leave if you
- 1:01:48don't. Like it?
- 1:01:49Then quit. That's what I'm.
- 1:01:50Saying exactly, you have free reign, you have full rights,
- 1:01:54You're allowed to leave. If it ain't for you, leave.
- 1:01:56Yeah, but if and somebody higher up in the chain yells, actually
- 1:02:02physically raises their voice to you, I think, and this is I
- 1:02:06understand, this is insane. I think they should be able to
- 1:02:09take you Outback. I If you want to scream at me,
- 1:02:13let's go outside. I would be fine with that.
- 1:02:15I'm I would. I used the wrong word.
- 1:02:18It wasn't scream. It was like, don't do that.
- 1:02:23Like a. It was firm.
- 1:02:25Firm I was. Going to say forceful, never
- 1:02:27say. Forceful.
- 1:02:28I just, yeah, take him by the shoulders and shake him.
- 1:02:33Affirm. Affirm.
- 1:02:35That is not how we do this. Yeah, understood.
- 1:02:38Yeah, and if. You don't like being talked to
- 1:02:40like. That pulled into a private so
- 1:02:42that it wasn't in front of other employees.
- 1:02:44It was a total on one that is a firm we do not do.
- 1:02:46That that is a given. Yes, if you reprimand, if you
- 1:02:50talk down to if you raise your voice to an employee in front of
- 1:02:53an another, Oh my God, meet me outside.
- 1:02:58You talk to me like a grown ass person.
- 1:03:01We're going to talk about it like grown ass people.
- 1:03:04Go ahead and come out the door with me, dude.
- 1:03:06I've had I've had a boss before and I, I think I've told you
- 1:03:09this one where I I talked to his boss.
- 1:03:12He wasn't even my boss anymore. His boss was my new boss and he
- 1:03:17came. My old boss came back in and
- 1:03:19started running his mouth in my warehouse, in my space, Yeah, in
- 1:03:25my space. And I finally, I was like, who
- 1:03:28are you talking to 'cause you're not, you have nothing to do with
- 1:03:32me anymore. You have nothing to do with the
- 1:03:35space that I'm standing in right now.
- 1:03:37This is not your division anymore.
- 1:03:39None of this concerns you. I don't know why you're standing
- 1:03:42here. You've been standing here for
- 1:03:44like a good 10 minutes. Like I've, I've held my tongue.
- 1:03:47Why are you here? And he just, well, I think I
- 1:03:50don't give a fuck what you think.
- 1:03:52So I finally went to his boss and I'm fuming.
- 1:03:55And I'm like, dude, and this is the company that I, I should
- 1:03:58have left long before I did. And I finally told him I was
- 1:04:01like, you need to get your dog on a leash.
- 1:04:03I'm telling you now. And I gave him that tone.
- 1:04:06I said those words exactly. And he's like, he's like, what
- 1:04:08are you going to do? And me and him are cordial.
- 1:04:10He's an old Marine. He understands the value of
- 1:04:14standing up for yourself and understanding that there are
- 1:04:17hierarchies. And at that point, he's not my
- 1:04:20boss. His boss is my boss.
- 1:04:22And I'm like, you need to get your dog on a leash.
- 1:04:25And he's like, what are you going to do jokingly?
- 1:04:27And I'm like, I'm dead serious. Bring him out back.
- 1:04:30Like I'm ready. I've been ready for years with
- 1:04:32this guy and he, he said he'd beat your fucking ass and I was
- 1:04:37like, I literally was like, I'd love to see it.
- 1:04:39I, I, I pray that you talk to him because I'm telling you now,
- 1:04:44man, it's coming. It's coming fast.
- 1:04:46Like I'm ready to whoop his ass. I was, it was so funny.
- 1:04:50He was like, he's straight up just goes, he would beat your
- 1:04:53ass and I was like, I would love to see it, man.
- 1:04:57I'd, I'd, I'd give anything to meet him in the parking lot.
- 1:05:00I was Oh my God, I I still and again, it's insane.
- 1:05:04We don't need to do that. We're we're fucking evolved
- 1:05:07humans. We don't need to be fighting
- 1:05:08each other. But you want to scream it not I
- 1:05:11mean it not talk firmly in an employee employer setting.
- 1:05:16If you want to talk to me like a grown ass person, you can talk
- 1:05:19to me outside like you can take whatever you dish out.
- 1:05:24I'm I'm ready, like I'll scream back.
- 1:05:26And if you want to like raise that up some, we're already
- 1:05:29outside. Let's go.
- 1:05:30Happy, happy to do it. It's like, I don't know, man, I,
- 1:05:36I think we're, we're getting to the point now where it's just
- 1:05:42it's UN unsustainable. You can't act this way toward
- 1:05:48other people anymore. And I, I think that's, that's
- 1:05:51really what I love about the the newer generations is like, Nope.
- 1:05:56Not doing that. Bye and they just leave.
- 1:05:58They walk out in the middle of a shift and then the the morons
- 1:06:03who sit there and act all high and mighty and puff their chest
- 1:06:07to people, they shouldn't be puffing their chest.
- 1:06:09They're like, well, what happened?
- 1:06:10Well, he walked out. Why?
- 1:06:12Well, he was a, you know, whatever.
- 1:06:14And then come to find out, that's the third time this month
- 1:06:17somebody's walked out on you. On you.
- 1:06:19What? Are you doing exactly.
- 1:06:21I love that. And before they could, they
- 1:06:24could puff their chest and be high and mighty and nobody could
- 1:06:26ever walk out because we understood.
- 1:06:29No, we got to keep the job because the job's the job.
- 1:06:32God knows what else is that. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:06:35Walk now blah blah. I love that they're they don't
- 1:06:37play that shit. Yeah.
- 1:06:39It it it has massively changed. I, I love it, man.
- 1:06:42I'm, I'm interested to see. I'm really interested to see.
- 1:06:46I think that's why they're pushing AI so hard because they
- 1:06:48know like, even though they're saying like the birth of rates
- 1:06:51down and yadda, yadda, like we don't have the workforce
- 1:06:53anymore, like especially the, the trades, like we have to find
- 1:07:00something because they're not coming in.
- 1:07:02And when they do come in the high and mighty, who have been
- 1:07:05there for 37 years and they have no, they have No Fear of being
- 1:07:12reprimanded or let go again, 37 years, they don't care.
- 1:07:16And then you come up against the immovable object and you're a
- 1:07:20brick wall. Like I, I just, I love the
- 1:07:22dynamic. Like I'm interested to see what
- 1:07:24happens and how they not fix the problem, but what it evolves
- 1:07:28into that I'm interested in. I I wonder if it just because
- 1:07:34somebody's got to be the trades. Somebody has to be the plumber,
- 1:07:37somebody has to be the electrician, the farmer, the,
- 1:07:40the, I mean the just, I don't know.
- 1:07:44I'm I'm interested, I think. I think we're also seeing
- 1:07:48fascinating, and this will be, this will be the last point that
- 1:07:53I'm going to make because we're over the hour mark now.
- 1:07:55But I think we're also seeing that more and more people are
- 1:08:03just saying screw the life that has been and I'm I'm going to
- 1:08:10make it for myself. In all aspects.
- 1:08:12In all aspects. So job, family, everything like
- 1:08:15like. Let's I'm going out, we're
- 1:08:18buying a homestead, I'm gardening, I'm raising, you
- 1:08:24know, whatever. I'm raising my own food, growing
- 1:08:27my own food, raising my family out in the middle of nowhere
- 1:08:33were I, I think. And now I haven't been really
- 1:08:37focused on the Internet that much recently, which has been a
- 1:08:42huge, you know, weight off my shelf.
- 1:08:45It's. Been wonderful.
- 1:08:47I haven't had Facebook on my phone forever so it's but I
- 1:08:53think I've seen a lot more videos of homesteading which is
- 1:08:58wonderful. And the algorithm pushes it to
- 1:09:00you. But I also feel like they're
- 1:09:04like even the the mainstream stuff is like, OK, eggs are
- 1:09:11however much they said they were.
- 1:09:14How do we raise chickens? Like that's an article in the
- 1:09:18post. It's like what we're we're back
- 1:09:20to 1910 again. It's great.
- 1:09:22I love this like we're we're going in this big loop and
- 1:09:26people went through the industrial and then they went
- 1:09:30through the finance and now we're back to OK, I don't want
- 1:09:35to do any of that because it's literally like the only way that
- 1:09:39business succeed is is with not manipulation.
- 1:09:44What's the word? It's like you have to literally
- 1:09:47take advantage of people. Like you can't, you can't
- 1:09:51actually make money in that business unless you you break
- 1:09:56the backs of others. And everybody else is like, OK,
- 1:09:59I see it now. I see what happened to my
- 1:10:01grandfather. I see what happened to my dad.
- 1:10:03I see what happened to my parents.
- 1:10:04They work 2 jobs through the 80s through the 90s, through the
- 1:10:082000s. And they're no better off than
- 1:10:10they were before then. And.
- 1:10:12Some of them don't even have houses.
- 1:10:14Yeah, now because they lost them because the frickin the machine
- 1:10:18took the house like what are you talking about?
- 1:10:21So no, I I think we all saw through the years.
- 1:10:25And we we've also seen especially the 80s and 90s and
- 1:10:30into the 2000s, we saw companies starting to not reward loyalty
- 1:10:37and start to. Say it's.
- 1:10:39Yeah, I mean, it's, it's just removing loyalty rewards for
- 1:10:44people that had been there forever, you know, and and now
- 1:10:47we, if you find somebody with a really good like 401K, not even
- 1:10:54like matching you, I'd be surprised if you could find one
- 1:10:57with actual matching. Yeah, nowadays.
- 1:11:00But like, Oh yeah, we'll we'll match 1%.
- 1:11:04Yeah. And you're like, Oh my gosh, 1%.
- 1:11:07You match anything. Cool, cool.
- 1:11:09Yeah. I I was doing the numbers last
- 1:11:13night for my dad. If he retires at 62, he loses
- 1:11:22about 30 grand from 62 to 65. And this is for anybody who
- 1:11:29invests like he does, makes the money that he does in the age
- 1:11:32bracket that he is born, the year that he was has the four O
- 1:11:371K and yadda yadda yadda. For the last 30 years.
- 1:11:40He makes an extra 30 grand if he waits three more years to retire
- 1:11:48a year of his life working at that company would gain him 10
- 1:11:52grand. It's crazy.
- 1:11:54It's what is that monthly less than 100 bucks like what are you
- 1:12:00talking about like that? I I just don't understand how
- 1:12:05get it. I don't understand how they
- 1:12:07could possibly keep a workforce, how they could possibly take
- 1:12:11advantage of the new generations with that, the inner, the
- 1:12:15knowledge of the Internet, we know everything.
- 1:12:18I can find out what you're trying to pull the wool over my
- 1:12:21eyes with in five seconds and I can immediately shut it down.
- 1:12:26Bye, I'm out. It's not worth it.
- 1:12:29I know it's not because I just looked it up.
- 1:12:31So when I was looking it up, it was 30 grand in three years is
- 1:12:37all he would add to the retirement account.
- 1:12:42So he trades three extra years for 30 grand and when he does
- 1:12:49retire, his company would have given him $90.00 I think.
- 1:12:55What in three years? What if they match at 1% of his
- 1:13:03four O 1K withdrawals? In three years they would have
- 1:13:06given him $90.00. 90 bucks less than $100 for three years of
- 1:13:13work is their match. Yeah, if he spooled it back, I
- 1:13:18think when he leaves at 65 instead of 62, three extra years
- 1:13:24of his life, 71 dollars would would be all that his company
- 1:13:30has given him to match his investments.
- 1:13:32That's crazy you. Know what's insane?
- 1:13:35The company holds all the investments.
- 1:13:39Obviously they give it to a firm, but the company holds
- 1:13:44those four O 1 KS as their how do I say it like an asset, but
- 1:13:49not really. It's, it's technically the
- 1:13:50property of the person with the four O 1K.
- 1:13:52But the company uses that that bucket as a whole to move their
- 1:14:00their investments. Because if they want to go heavy
- 1:14:04in one place, they'll move all of the four O 1K investments
- 1:14:07into that sector, which is what they did.
- 1:14:10And they, they moved him over probably 7 years ago from a
- 1:14:15company. He's, he's been with the same
- 1:14:17company for like 20 years. After 13 years, they moved the
- 1:14:23four O 1K from this, this investment firm to the other.
- 1:14:29And when they did that, they took fees to move his money to a
- 1:14:35new block of of stocks. They took like $900 to do that.
- 1:14:42They did that for every employee.
- 1:14:44There's thousands of employees at this company.
- 1:14:47Like what? What are you talking about?
- 1:14:52So his company gives him $90.00 if he stays another three years.
- 1:14:58When he moved the four O 1K that was not voluntary.
- 1:15:01It was mandatory. They sold the company.
- 1:15:04He had to move it or take like take the four O 1K out or move
- 1:15:09it to a Roth or something like that.
- 1:15:12So you cost him $900 to do that and then you would only pay him
- 1:15:17back $90.00 in three years if he stayed the extra three years?
- 1:15:22That's. What are we doing?
- 1:15:24It's unsustainable. Like unbelievable.
- 1:15:28Hated it.
