Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: The following content does not reflect the opinions of Fox
- 0:03Speaker 1: Sports Radio. Because this show is god awful, Yo.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yo and Toyo live from Philly. It's the number one
- 0:16Speaker 2: rated William Tony foolsc show. Yo Yo, y'all always Polly Fools.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Go here with Tony Fosco and Tony Yo Huge show today.
- 0:28Speaker 2: You know, we're gonna why that terrible Lions Cowboys game
- 0:32Speaker 2: exposed in NFL rule that could destroy America as we know, unbelievable.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Why Michigan got totally screwed in the college football playoffs
- 0:42Speaker 2: even though they won. Yeah, completely unfair, totally unfit NFL
- 0:47Speaker 2: coach should be on the hot seat. We'll explain it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It's gonna be totally obvious. But you know, as we
- 0:52Speaker 2: told you, we are finalists for the Sports Podcast Awards
- 0:57Speaker 2: in the category of Best Sports Comedy, even though this
- 1:03Speaker 2: show is clearly not a comedy. And you know, Tony,
- 1:06Speaker 2: what we've been thinking, right is that we think it's
- 1:08Speaker 2: because people like how we make fun of the Cowboys
- 1:11Speaker 2: exactly because they sucks so bad.
- 1:13Speaker 3: No no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Why are you even talking, why, idiot producer, what.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Actually, it's just because they're laughing at you, not with you.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to be shooting at you. Yeah, and
- 1:28Speaker 2: you know who's laughing at you? Every girl on Tinda.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Oh you're done. You know that's probably locked up the
- 1:37Speaker 2: trophy right there, but you know that you out there,
- 1:41Speaker 2: go click the link in the description of this episode
- 1:43Speaker 2: or the show profile page and go vote. Now, all right, now,
- 1:48Speaker 2: turning to Today show. You know Tony, this guy we're
- 1:51Speaker 2: bringing on, he seems to get tickets to every major
- 1:53Speaker 2: sporting event. He was on the stall last year, he
- 1:56Speaker 2: was at the Rose Bolt. This guy's probably spending thousands
- 1:59Speaker 2: of dollars every day anyway, exactly, we're going to tell
- 2:02Speaker 2: you and him why the Rose Bowl was a travesty
- 2:05Speaker 2: of a game. And uh ye, the host of the
- 2:07Speaker 2: Arashmakazi Show a Rashmakazi and we're likely to rash him
- 2:12Speaker 2: from this show. Can't wait for that, don'ty? Anyway? Right now,
- 2:15Speaker 2: it's time for a word from our good friends at
- 2:18Speaker 2: stamps dot com. If you're over the age of eighty five,
- 2:22Speaker 2: then you know how important stamps are, Isn't that right, don'ty? Yeah?
- 2:27Speaker 4: I mean even younger people around age sixty five need stamps.
- 2:31Speaker 4: The other day, I saw my aunt Marie's boyfriend Nunzio,
- 2:34Speaker 4: mailing a huge stack of letters at the post office.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I said, Nunzio, you must be tired from licking all
- 2:41Speaker 4: those stamps, and he said, no, I'm tired from licking
- 2:45Speaker 4: your aunt sweat. Actually, you know what, let's just say,
- 2:48Speaker 4: you know, let's move on anyway, Just keep going on,
- 2:50Speaker 4: gob enter the Bromo.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Go, go and get a complimentary red mailbox flag when
- 2:56Speaker 2: you purchase one hundred thousand stamps. Well, what the wow?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Oh calm there, you got another checking the min Let's
- 3:03Speaker 2: get right into it, Tony. Our top story story first
- 3:09Speaker 2: out the gate. Just a terrible and clearly fraudulent ending
- 3:13Speaker 2: to the Lions Cowboys game after the Lions saw a
- 3:16Speaker 2: game winning two point conversion come off the board because
- 3:20Speaker 2: the refs said the Lions offensive lineman, the guy who
- 3:23Speaker 2: called the pass, had not reported as an eligible receiver.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Is even though several replays showed he did. Yeah, exact, Toney.
- 3:32Speaker 2: This situation is just exposed more corruption in the NFL
- 3:37Speaker 2: officiating system, hasn't it.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Absolutely, if you ask me, there's a clear reason why
- 3:43Speaker 4: the ref didn't know the Lions player was reporting. I
- 3:46Speaker 4: bet it was because the Lions player knew he had
- 3:49Speaker 4: to whisper, because he knew the ref was wearing a
- 3:52Speaker 4: microphone and knew the Cowboys were probably listening and hearing
- 3:56Speaker 4: the play. We all know you got to be super
- 3:59Speaker 4: careful with what you say these days because there are
- 4:02Speaker 4: microphones everywhere.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I mean, there's a microphone in front of me right now.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Frightening perspective, that, Tony. And another thing, you know, why
- 4:12Speaker 2: the hell does a player have to tell the ref
- 4:16Speaker 2: that he's eligible to catch a pass and to'll be
- 4:19Speaker 2: perfectly frank. Why is it only the fat guys on
- 4:22Speaker 2: the field that have to do this? I mean, to me,
- 4:25Speaker 2: this seems like straight up discrimination and fat shaming. I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 2: is the NFL saying that these guys are just too
- 4:33Speaker 2: fat to catch a football?
- 4:35Speaker 4: This is clear anti fat guy bias. And here's another
- 4:39Speaker 4: thing that concerns me. If we allow this rule in football,
- 4:43Speaker 4: then what's next. Will point guards have to ask the
- 4:46Speaker 4: referee if they can grab a rebound? Well, tennis players
- 4:50Speaker 4: have to ask the guy up in the chair if
- 4:53Speaker 4: they can return a serve?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yep?
- 4:55Speaker 4: When we fight war was will our military generals have
- 4:58Speaker 4: to clear it with other country before we bomb them.
- 5:02Speaker 4: This is a very dangerous and slippery slope.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Such great thought provoking questions that, Tony, And you know
- 5:09Speaker 2: one more thing, thank you. How come with a quarterback
- 5:13Speaker 2: throws a pass forward, only a couple guys can catch it,
- 5:17Speaker 2: But when he's hit as he's throwing, well, the ball
- 5:21Speaker 2: goes up into the air and then everyone can catch it.
- 5:24Speaker 2: You know. To me, it seems like then you should
- 5:27Speaker 2: always have one of your own players hit your quarterback
- 5:30Speaker 2: from behind as they throw the ball, so that way
- 5:34Speaker 2: anyone on the team can catch it. I was thinking
- 5:37Speaker 2: the same exact thing. There you go, There you go,
- 5:39Speaker 2: all right, tom Yeah. Moving to the Eagles, rumors are
- 5:43Speaker 2: swirling that Nick Siriani could be on the hot seat
- 5:46Speaker 2: after this season. Now. Some people say, well, that's ridiculous
- 5:50Speaker 2: because he's won eleven games and you know, can still
- 5:52Speaker 2: win the division. But Tony, these people are absolute morons,
- 5:57Speaker 2: aren't they.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, eleven wins used to be a lot
- 6:01Speaker 4: of wins, but not anymore. First of all, you have
- 6:05Speaker 4: to adjust for game inflation. There's an extra game now,
- 6:09Speaker 4: so it's really ten wins. And when you think about it,
- 6:13Speaker 4: week one doesn't really count because nobody's ready.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So it's really nine wins.
- 6:18Speaker 4: And you know, the Giants and Commands sucked this year,
- 6:22Speaker 4: so really this is just a.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Five win team when you think about it. I hate
- 6:26Speaker 2: to say it, but that was one hundred percent truth, Dony.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And you know, frankly, if you ask me, any coach
- 6:34Speaker 2: who doesn't go seventeen to oh should be on the
- 6:37Speaker 2: hot seat. I mean, if you don't demand perfection, well
- 6:40Speaker 2: you're not gonna get perfection, Isn't that right? Don'ty one
- 6:43Speaker 2: hundred percent?
- 6:45Speaker 4: In fact, the other day I checked my Powerball ticket
- 6:48Speaker 4: and I saw I hit all five white numbers but
- 6:51Speaker 4: missed the red power ball.
- 6:53Speaker 2: So you know what I did.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I took that ticket and I threw it in the
- 6:57Speaker 4: trash because I'm in it to win it all. I
- 7:00Speaker 4: will accept nothing less than perfection, and so should the Eagles.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Such a respectable and admirable decision that, Tony. And now
- 7:09Speaker 2: moving to a big controversy on the Pat McAfee show,
- 7:13Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers, in the middle of an interview, came out
- 7:16Speaker 2: and claimed that late night host Jimmy Kimmel would be
- 7:19Speaker 2: on the list of names of Jeffrey Epstein clients and
- 7:23Speaker 2: when Jimmy Kimmel asked for an apology, Pat McAfee defended
- 7:28Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers by saying that he was quote, just talking shit.
- 7:34Speaker 2: And you got to see where Pat McAfee's coming from here, totally,
- 7:37Speaker 2: don't you, Because this happens all the time, doesn't it
- 7:40Speaker 2: all the time?
- 7:41Speaker 4: In fact, the other day I said, Dak Prescott isn't
- 7:45Speaker 4: doing anything to stop illegal immigration because he's clearly part
- 7:49Speaker 4: of a vast heroin smuggling ring. And then this moron
- 7:53Speaker 4: I was talking to got angry and asked if I
- 7:55Speaker 4: had any proof, and I said, you know, I was
- 7:58Speaker 4: just talking.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Shit, Yeah, talking, you know, exactly, talking to someone about
- 8:04Speaker 2: Brock Party. And I said, you know, he's from San Francisco,
- 8:08Speaker 2: so he probably shoots fentanyl mixed with heroin into unwanted babies.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Totally also in the street. And then this guy he
- 8:15Speaker 2: got all angry at me and he said, yeah, where's
- 8:17Speaker 2: your proof? And I was like, I was just talking. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 2: we're just talking, come on, relaxed. Unbelievable anyway, anyway, let's
- 8:26Speaker 2: just move on. Let's just keep go football. Where you know,
- 8:29Speaker 2: Michigan may have beaten Alabama in the semi final there,
- 8:33Speaker 2: but they still got screwed. And the reason is totally
- 8:36Speaker 2: is that Michigan had the number one seed. Well, the
- 8:39Speaker 2: whole point of getting the number one seed is that
- 8:43Speaker 2: you get to play a team. There you go, Michigan
- 8:46Speaker 2: should have gotten to play FSU instead of Alabama because
- 8:49Speaker 2: FSU is clearly the team. And instead of winning by
- 8:53Speaker 2: sixty to seventy, you know, poor Michigan had the waste
- 8:56Speaker 2: energy going in overtime. That's not fair at all, is it, Tony?
- 9:00Speaker 2: Not at all?
- 9:01Speaker 4: In college basketball, the number one seed gets to play
- 9:04Speaker 4: a team that won about eight games and barely knows
- 9:06Speaker 4: how to play basketball. Then they get to win by
- 9:10Speaker 4: seventy or eighty points in a totally boring game that's
- 9:13Speaker 4: over two minutes into the first half.
- 9:16Speaker 2: That is fanish great point downy And now something we
- 9:20Speaker 2: do have to get to a special update here. This
- 9:24Speaker 2: is breaking pickleball news. Wow, pickle ball news. All right, well,
- 9:30Speaker 2: this reportedly happened a month ago, but I guess the
- 9:33Speaker 2: pickleball news is slow as something because no cares. Well,
- 9:37Speaker 2: that isn't till now, right, because this kind of just
- 9:41Speaker 2: in Super Bowl hero Nick Foles just added another notch
- 9:45Speaker 2: to his Hall of Fame resume. He won gold medals
- 9:49Speaker 2: in the men's doubles and Mixed doubles war Ball championships
- 9:53Speaker 2: at the VPA Finals in San Clemente in December. Congratulate, congratulations,
- 10:01Speaker 2: and Tony your reaction, I'm just flawed.
- 10:05Speaker 4: You know now that Nick Foles is a champion at
- 10:08Speaker 4: pickle ball, He's entered the most hallowed category in all
- 10:12Speaker 4: of sports, the two sport athlete. He now joins the
- 10:17Speaker 4: short list of Bo Jackson and Dion Sanders. And you know, frankly,
- 10:23Speaker 4: nick foles accomplishments are actually more impressive. Baseball and football
- 10:28Speaker 4: have been around forever. You have so much time to
- 10:31Speaker 4: learn those sports. But falls masted pickleball in just a
- 10:36Speaker 4: few months, proving once again why he's the superior athlete.
- 10:41Speaker 2: There you go, Tony, and congratulations once again. Yeah, congratulate.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I'd definitely love to talk about that, boll. But guest
- 10:50Speaker 2: is coming on the line, so let's bring him on
- 10:52Speaker 2: the Fusco Satellite Network. Satellite the world, all right. This
- 10:58Speaker 2: guy host the Arash Magazi Show, where he apparently spends
- 11:03Speaker 2: hours each day talking about how much he has a
- 11:06Speaker 2: heart on for the Lakers and Cowboys. At least that's
- 11:09Speaker 2: what we've been told. Since we'll never waste that time
- 11:12Speaker 2: listening to that show. Right anyway, let's just bring him
- 11:16Speaker 2: on here a rash Magazi, welcome back to welcome back.
- 11:19Speaker 2: What a pleasure.
- 11:21Speaker 5: I mean, I think it's my third or fourth time
- 11:23Speaker 5: I am a friend of the show now. But although
- 11:25Speaker 5: like I can't say that myself, you have to see that.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Let's not we'll get ahead of yourself. Yeah, you're not
- 11:33Speaker 2: making friends with you the inside. Of course, we have
- 11:37Speaker 2: to discuss the biggest news, the breaking news you just
- 11:40Speaker 2: heard about. Of course, Nick Foles winning two pickleball Golden
- 11:46Speaker 2: unbelievable now officially a two sport athlete like Bo Jackson
- 11:50Speaker 2: and Dion Sanders. As your reaction.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Anything Nick Foles does, I'm supporting.
- 11:59Speaker 2: What a great wouldn't you say that? You know it's
- 12:01Speaker 2: actually more impressive than what Bo and Dion did because
- 12:05Speaker 2: you know baseball and football they've been around forever. But
- 12:08Speaker 2: you know it got tons of time to learn it. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 2: but you know pickleball, that's no I no fast, he dominate.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, listen, twenty years from now, we can
- 12:16Speaker 5: be talking about pickleball being a major sport. So he's
- 12:19Speaker 5: ahead of his time, mister Nick Foles.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Wow, okay, trying to kiss as we like it though, Okay, he's.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Trying to walk it back. He wants so much to
- 12:27Speaker 2: be a friend of the show, exactly kissing anyway, all right,
- 12:31Speaker 2: let's get to why you're here, right, you know you
- 12:33Speaker 2: were at the Rose Ball. You know, such a terrible game, right,
- 12:37Speaker 2: such a ball. Look for the playoff committee. You know,
- 12:40Speaker 2: clearly Michigan got screwed here because they were the one seed.
- 12:43Speaker 2: The whole point of being a one seed is that
- 12:45Speaker 2: you get to play a team, and that you was
- 12:49Speaker 2: clearly the shittier team than Alabama and should have been
- 12:53Speaker 2: in the playoff. You agree?
- 12:56Speaker 5: Wait, I thought it was a fantastic game, Like.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Are you saying that you don't? It was horrible, you know, Michigan.
- 13:04Speaker 2: They had to go in overtime when they up by
- 13:06Speaker 2: sixty at that point they won.
- 13:09Speaker 5: And it was a fantastic overtime game of classic Rose
- 13:13Speaker 5: Bowl New Year's Day. I mean, a slice of Americana
- 13:17Speaker 5: there in Pasadena?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 13:19Speaker 4: Wouldn't it wouldn't it been more fun if Michigan was
- 13:22Speaker 4: playing Florida State? And they were up by seventy in
- 13:24Speaker 4: the second quarter, and everyone's body in it?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah for who who is faminists? People who appreciate famness,
- 13:32Speaker 2: unlike you. You know, I'm just being a one seed
- 13:35Speaker 2: if you don't, you know, in college basketball, Michigan would
- 13:38Speaker 2: have played you know, go yourself International. Yeah, I thought
- 13:44Speaker 2: we got a great day night.
- 13:46Speaker 5: Of football there, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, both coming down
- 13:49Speaker 5: to the last play. I don't understand how you.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Can watch it and get it. And he doesn't get it.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Let's just keep moving. He doesn't understand. You know, this
- 13:58Speaker 2: is the kind of analysis you get on the Irash
- 14:01Speaker 2: Makazi show, and exactly, people, Everything's wonderful, all right, Well
- 14:06Speaker 2: look we'll try you again. In college football, you know
- 14:09Speaker 2: college of course, ohrash. These bowl game sitouts, players skipping
- 14:13Speaker 2: these games for fear of injury, you know, important games
- 14:17Speaker 2: like the Pop Tarts Bowl. The game is so Idaho
- 14:20Speaker 2: Potato Bowl. Yeah, you know, don't you think this is
- 14:23Speaker 2: an embarrassment to our country? I mean, imagine if soldiers
- 14:26Speaker 2: sat out World War Two, we'd probably be in not
- 14:29Speaker 2: captivity right now. How embarrassed are you by this behavior?
- 14:33Speaker 5: Listen, when we go to the twelve team playoff. I
- 14:36Speaker 5: think that's even gonna be worse for these pop Tart
- 14:39Speaker 5: top op Tarts Bowl and stuff.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Clearly you're very familiar with it. Can't even pronounce unbelievable
- 14:45Speaker 2: pop Tarts. Hard to say that, Tony, I mean, you know,
- 14:49Speaker 2: I hate to ask you to pronounce a five letter word.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Might might trip you up.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Yeah, what does it matter to you if a guy
- 14:57Speaker 5: sits out the Pop Tarts Bowl?
- 14:59Speaker 2: I mean that hurt because it's to his team?
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yeah, what about your LOYALTYM and NFL scout And I see.
- 15:07Speaker 2: A person abandoning his team like that, he's off five,
- 15:10Speaker 2: he's out. See you in the UFL.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Yeah, listen, these guys are better things to do than
- 15:17Speaker 5: playing the Idaho Potato Bowl on, the Pop Starts Bowl,
- 15:20Speaker 5: the playoffs, the Road Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Bes, the Bowl,
- 15:23Speaker 5: Cotton Bowl Championship game. Those games matter, the pop.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Tars woll come on, guys, Wow, it's amazing. They give
- 15:31Speaker 2: you tickets to any game after that kind of terrible.
- 15:34Speaker 2: You should be eighty six from all the bowl games
- 15:36Speaker 2: you're gonna You're gonna have a very empty December next year,
- 15:39Speaker 2: A Rodgers, your schedules are lead. Aaron Rodgers, as you know,
- 15:43Speaker 2: in very hot water over the comments he made on
- 15:46Speaker 2: the Pat McAfee show. You know, he claimed that Jimmy
- 15:49Speaker 2: Kimmel could be on the Epstein list when it turned
- 15:52Speaker 2: out he wasn't. Now you know, Pat McAfee came out
- 15:54Speaker 2: and defended Aaron Rodgers, you know, and he said, hey,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you know, he's just talking. Yeah, just Tony give him
- 16:01Speaker 2: that example a rash.
- 16:03Speaker 4: The other day, I told some guy that Dak Prescott
- 16:06Speaker 4: is doing nothing to stop a legal immigration in Texas
- 16:09Speaker 4: because he's part of a vast heroin smuggling ring.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Isn't that just talking shit? Yup? No?
- 16:16Speaker 5: No, I think there is a difference between trash talking
- 16:20Speaker 5: and insinuating that someone is a criminal of some sort.
- 16:25Speaker 5: I think I think there's a fine line there, and
- 16:27Speaker 5: I think we can figure out where that line is.
- 16:29Speaker 5: I think Aaron Rodgers crossed that line unfortunately.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Oh really, you know, but what do you call journalism?
- 16:37Speaker 2: How are you supposed to know? Yeah, he's doing unless
- 16:39Speaker 2: you ask the questions. Isn't journalism just essentially talking?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Right?
- 16:44Speaker 2: Is brock perty injecting babies with heroin? I don't know.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I gotta I just don't know, got to investigate.
- 16:51Speaker 5: The great thing about a document is you can actually
- 16:53Speaker 5: read the entire document, which is what journalists did. I
- 16:56Speaker 5: guess whose name was not on those documents was Jimmy Kimmel.
- 17:00Speaker 2: So we did not know that until they came out
- 17:03Speaker 2: in all fantas.
- 17:04Speaker 5: You know what what Aaron Rodgers says, By the way,
- 17:07Speaker 5: this is not a former Philadelphia player of some sorts.
- 17:11Speaker 5: You guys shouldn't care. I don't know why he has
- 17:14Speaker 5: a platform every week on that show.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Oh you're jealous. That's why you're jealousy, right, jealous exactly?
- 17:22Speaker 2: Stand yeah, yeah, he doesn't play it anyway. Move on,
- 17:25Speaker 2: let's talk about the Cowboys. You know, you're reportedly a
- 17:28Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboys homer. As we know, we don't listen to
- 17:31Speaker 2: a show, but we've been told. Don't you feel that
- 17:33Speaker 2: the win over the Lions was tainted because of that
- 17:36Speaker 2: nonsensical rule that a lineman can't catch a pass from
- 17:40Speaker 2: the quarterback. I mean, don't you think lineman should be
- 17:43Speaker 2: able to catch passes on every play? Because you know,
- 17:46Speaker 2: to me, this is just an example of discrimination around.
- 17:50Speaker 2: You know, they're basically saying the way, I'm not good
- 17:54Speaker 2: enough to catch. Isn't that terrible? No, listen, I think
- 17:57Speaker 2: the defense has the right to know who is an
- 17:59Speaker 2: eligible will receive it.
- 18:00Speaker 5: And if they don't know, if it wasn't announced, if
- 18:03Speaker 5: the referee didn't make that clear to the defense, he's ineligible.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And at the end, why should the defense get the advantage? Hey, defense,
- 18:11Speaker 4: this is what the offensive play is gonna be. Isn't that?
- 18:15Speaker 2: Isn't that unfair to the defense.
- 18:17Speaker 5: You guys are watching the football to know that they
- 18:19Speaker 5: will say number seventy nine is eligible. Number seventy nine
- 18:22Speaker 5: is eligible. They didn't do that before the play. So
- 18:24Speaker 5: the defense is saying, this guy's an offensive lineman, he
- 18:27Speaker 5: can't catch that. He can catch a pass if they
- 18:30Speaker 5: say he is eligible to catch it.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's a very slippery slope. You got to
