- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:29Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with Trey
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trenholm and Raj Sharma. The good news for us is
- 0:40Speaker 1: that outside of our tree house is not a hurricane.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Because our tree house is not based in Florida. We're
- 0:47Speaker 1: based in Texas. There's plenty of bad stuff outside on
- 0:52Speaker 1: any given day of anyone's house, but outside our treehouse
- 0:55Speaker 1: right now not so bad, especially compared to the entire
- 0:59Speaker 1: Western ghost to Florida also known as the Underside, you know,
- 1:05Speaker 1: because Florida is a you know what I mean at
- 1:10Speaker 1: the time of this recording, because in case you didn't know,
- 1:14Speaker 1: this show is not exactly live, but we're you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: we're close ish Uncle Milty, as I've started to call him,
- 1:24Speaker 1: That's what I was calling him.
- 1:25Speaker 2: This morn is.
- 1:29Speaker 1: A category four. It was supposed to be. It was
- 1:33Speaker 1: a five, then a dropped to a four, and then
- 1:35Speaker 1: it as it hit Land, supposed to be a three.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And while that sounds better, it's still really really bad.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Allow me to expand on that. Millions flee ahead of
- 1:54Speaker 1: Hurricane Milton, expected to be the strongest storm in the
- 1:57Speaker 1: Gulf of Mexico since two thousand five. It was initially
- 2:02Speaker 1: supposed to hit the Tampa Bay area directly, but then
- 2:05Speaker 1: it sort of turned to the south a little bit,
- 2:07Speaker 1: aiming more towards Sarasota. Experts were warning the storm surge
- 2:12Speaker 1: could reach fifteen feet. Nearly six million Floridians across eleven
- 2:16Speaker 1: counties and coastal and low lying areas were under mandatory
- 2:20Speaker 1: or voluntary evacuation orders. Thousands of flights have been canceled
- 2:26Speaker 1: as of Tuesday, probably more than that now. Milton was
- 2:32Speaker 1: likely to weaken into a Category three before it hit land,
- 2:36Speaker 1: but experts worn, but experts worn, it will still have
- 2:40Speaker 1: devastating effects. Tampa Mayor Jane Caster said that debris left
- 2:45Speaker 1: over from Hurricane Helene two weeks ago could be picked
- 2:49Speaker 1: up by Milton and used as a weapony.
- 2:56Speaker 3: So as if it's the old ron joke, it's not
- 3:02Speaker 3: that the winds are blowing, it's what the winds are blowing.
- 3:06Speaker 4: It's true.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It's very true. Like it's really funny to see Jim Cantour,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you know, kind of pushed by the wind across a
- 3:13Speaker 1: sea wall or something. But you know, if a cement
- 3:16Speaker 1: truck comes flying down that that sea walling and smashes
- 3:20Speaker 1: into him. Then that's not gonna be as funny.
- 3:24Speaker 5: And I don't understand the the people that are like, no,
- 3:28Speaker 5: we're staying. I'm like, leave, I don't know what else
- 3:33Speaker 5: to tell you. And then and then bad stuff happens
- 3:35Speaker 5: to them, and I'm like, we can't believe this happened
- 3:38Speaker 5: to us.
- 3:38Speaker 4: I was like, they've been warning you for days.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They don't get out. Yeah, yeah, I saw. I saw
- 3:45Speaker 1: a great meme the other day, because you know, we're
- 3:47Speaker 1: at the we're getting towards the tail end of hurricane season,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but this is around the time when the storms have
- 3:51Speaker 1: a tendency to be the worst. It's later in the season.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I know this now because not about an island. But
- 3:57Speaker 1: one of the memes I saw was with Johnny as
- 4:00Speaker 1: Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, and it showed basically,
- 4:04Speaker 1: you know, coastal residents, island residents, whatever it is. If
- 4:08Speaker 1: you live in places where hurricanes are of somewhat regular occurrence,
- 4:12Speaker 1: it's a category one. You're just kind of standing out
- 4:15Speaker 1: in the sun like Jack Sparrow's happy. Category two, he's
- 4:19Speaker 1: got the bottle of rum turned vertical and he's just
- 4:22Speaker 1: kind of partying. Or maybe that was for category three,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but once it shut up, like category four or five,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's just Jack Sparrow running down the beach in the
- 4:31Speaker 1: opposite direction, going hell no. There is a certain ego
- 4:36Speaker 1: that goes along with living in paths of hurricanes and
- 4:40Speaker 1: being able to kind of flux your muscles in with
- 4:43Speaker 1: stand them. But my God, at a certain point, get
- 4:45Speaker 1: the hell out.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Well it's and you understand that they get a little
- 4:50Speaker 3: bit of fatigue because they get a lot of warnings
- 4:52Speaker 3: and sometimes they you know, like this one's done, they
- 4:56Speaker 3: wobble and they'll miss them and don't take a direct hit.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm why risk it?
- 5:00Speaker 3: I mean, because the downside isn't worth whatever, you know, Yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 3: the downside is you're dead.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm That's my point, like the
- 5:11Speaker 5: upside downside like pro conic, what's the pro uh it
- 5:15Speaker 5: misses us, what's the you know, what's the we all die?
- 5:19Speaker 1: Well, let's just go you're not Lieutenant Dan, you know
- 5:23Speaker 1: who's climbed up to the crow's nest on your on
- 5:26Speaker 1: your shrimp boat and screaming at God type of thing.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And then you survive and you go outside and you
- 5:31Speaker 1: flex gor especially if you do that in the middle
- 5:36Speaker 1: of the storm, you might get hit by that cement truck.
- 5:39Speaker 1: At the end of the day, it's dangerous. And when
- 5:42Speaker 1: you have any storm that reaches a certain level of severity,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I think you need to revisit what you've named it,
- 5:49Speaker 1: because people are not going to be afraid of something
- 5:54Speaker 1: called Milton. For me, it reminds me of my great
- 5:59Speaker 1: uncle Milford, and the only thing he ever flooded was
- 6:02Speaker 1: his pants. So if you really want to strike fear
- 6:07Speaker 1: into people and get them to actually evacuate ahead of
- 6:10Speaker 1: these storms, you need to rename them to match their severity.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. Referring to a category five or
- 6:17Speaker 1: four whatever hurricane is, Uncle Milty is kind of is
- 6:21Speaker 1: kind of funny, but it's going to destroy a lot
- 6:24Speaker 1: of stuff and it's gonna kill people. So let's name
- 6:27Speaker 1: it something you know, scary to get people to leave,
- 6:30Speaker 1: like Methuselah.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Marcellus Wallace, Yes.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Yes, Hurricane Schwarzenator, Like that's right.
- 6:41Speaker 1: This this has to be an m storm. So if
- 6:43Speaker 1: you once you find out like okay, you like when
- 6:46Speaker 1: it becomes tropical storm. Okay, it's Milton, right, because it
- 6:49Speaker 1: goes to the m because it starts out as something
- 6:52Speaker 1: and then it becomes an invest and then it becomes
- 6:54Speaker 1: a depression, and then you name it and it's a
- 6:56Speaker 1: tropical storm and it's Milton, and then it keeps that
- 6:58Speaker 1: as it becomes a hurricane. But once it becomes I
- 7:00Speaker 1: think a severe hurricane, change that name, like Trey, you said,
- 7:05Speaker 1: you changed this from Milton to Marcellus Wallace. People will
- 7:09Speaker 1: absolutely get out of Florida.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah, you got Sam Jackson to your p sas.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Say what again, You'll think Marcellus Wallace is a bitch.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And then he just starts reading, you know, from the Bible,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and people are just going out of town.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Man, They're not They're.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Not taking any chances because you don't want to get
- 7:38Speaker 1: taken out by Marcellus Wallace.
- 7:40Speaker 5: And Florida is like it's filled with very old people.
- 7:43Speaker 5: And so when you have when you name a hurricane
- 7:46Speaker 5: Milton and you tell them like, hey, guys, you need
- 7:49Speaker 5: to leave, Milton's coming, they just think a guest from
- 7:51Speaker 5: where they have wherever they used to live. Yeah, Milton's
- 7:55Speaker 5: coming sounds great.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah, from from four doors down and it'll take him
- 8:00Speaker 1: a couple of days to get there, but you'll be
- 8:02Speaker 1: excited to see him. But not if it's Marcellus Wallace.
- 8:05Speaker 4: No.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I saw it was a post Facebook someone Evidently there's
- 8:12Speaker 3: someone people stuck on a cruise ship that's anchored outside
- 8:14Speaker 3: of Tampa, Okay. And they were showing the deck of
- 8:20Speaker 3: the ship because evidently, and I have never heard of
- 8:22Speaker 3: this before, but the hurricane, the airplanes you know that
- 8:27Speaker 3: go in there, the hurricane tracker planes, so that there
- 8:30Speaker 3: were flocks of birds stuck in the eyewall.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Oh boy, but this cruise ship, she's just showing it.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Dead birds just dropping from the sky all over the deck,
- 8:40Speaker 3: so much so they had to close the deck. That's
- 8:43Speaker 3: what I'm like, get the lifeboat out, get me to shore.
- 8:46Speaker 6: No.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Yeah, once the birds start falling from the sky, I'm out.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I am not going to ride out any storm with
- 8:54Speaker 1: dead birds falling on the deck of the ship. I
- 8:56Speaker 1: don't care how big that boat is. I am out.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I will I will do my best Jesus impersonation.
- 9:03Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 9:03Speaker 5: It's a cruise ship. So I'm like, is the buffet
- 9:05Speaker 5: and the casino is still open? Because then I can
- 9:07Speaker 5: do that. I just don't have to stay. I don't
- 9:12Speaker 5: have to stare at the deck. I don't have to
- 9:13Speaker 5: go out for any reason. But if the bar is
- 9:15Speaker 5: right there and the casino's open, you got a button maker.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Real hard to figure out which what number the ball
- 9:20Speaker 1: fell on for roulette, especially if you're upside down.
- 9:31Speaker 6: You're in the tree house.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Visit us online at freehouseonair dot com.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Let's get Daniel Cook into the tree house. Eight three
- 9:44Speaker 1: three cook DFW is the phone number to get your
- 9:47Speaker 1: free roof inspection and you get yourself on the cooklist
- 9:50Speaker 1: the website cookdfw dot com. You can go there and
- 9:52Speaker 1: take a look at some of the projects that they've done.
- 9:55Speaker 1: And yes, you are a roofing company, Daniel, but you
- 9:58Speaker 1: also have a lot of remodeling restoration projects. Do you
- 10:01Speaker 1: guys do she sheds and man caves? Because I imagine
- 10:05Speaker 1: at your house, your lovely wife Carrie, who hates to
- 10:07Speaker 1: be hot, she probably has her own separate chees shed
- 10:10Speaker 1: that's nothing but just air conditioners blowing on her twenty
- 10:13Speaker 1: four seven.
- 10:14Speaker 9: That is so funny, Dan. Last week I told Carrie
- 10:17Speaker 9: I was gonna build her a walk in cooler, so
- 10:19Speaker 9: I could go put her in because it's like, no
- 10:23Speaker 9: matter how cool, Like I get frostbite by sleeping in
- 10:27Speaker 9: her bed. I mean, we go to sleep at night
- 10:30Speaker 9: and I look over and she's like still, I look
- 10:33Speaker 9: like she's hot. I'm buried under covers. I got a
- 10:36Speaker 9: shirt on, I got my shorts on, I got socks on.
- 10:39Speaker 9: I gotta get a toboggan and put it on. And
- 10:42Speaker 9: she's still sitting there like, oh my god, it's so hot,
- 10:45Speaker 9: and I'm like I don't.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Know what else to do.
- 10:48Speaker 9: So it brings back it's like trauma almost now it's
- 10:52Speaker 9: like wow. But yes, so we can build anything. We
- 10:55Speaker 9: actually had a client that waned a she said, in
- 10:58Speaker 9: the backyard with a nice polycarbonate roof. She kind of
- 11:02Speaker 9: made it like a little greenhouse and she had little
- 11:05Speaker 9: chairs out there and she would go out there and relax. Well,
- 11:07Speaker 9: we do a several patio covers, uh, several home extensions
- 11:12Speaker 9: off the backyards.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So yeah, we're able to do all those things. Very
- 11:16Speaker 1: very cool. So if you have a dream, uh, Daniel
- 11:19Speaker 1: Cook at COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration can help make it possible.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Or if you're just trying to get you know, the
- 11:25Speaker 1: frost shingles off the tip of your nose and make
- 11:27Speaker 1: your wife a walk in cooler. You can do that.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He'll be happy to do it because he already has
- 11:31Speaker 1: the plans ready. Eight three three Cook DFW eight three
- 11:34Speaker 1: three Cook dfw or that website cookdfw dot com.

- 12:15Speaker 1: dot org. Yesterday we told you about the woman who
- 12:20Speaker 1: eats ash and it was shocking and it was surprising,
- 12:28Speaker 1: and turns out it was pretty pretty popular on our
- 12:31Speaker 1: Instagram when I posted on it. But we told you
- 12:34Speaker 1: about it yesterday Inside the Treehouse on the show, the
- 12:36Speaker 1: woman who said, I thought my marriage was perfect, but
- 12:39Speaker 1: after my husband died, I discovered his depraved secret life
- 12:43Speaker 1: and felt so mad with rage that I ate his
- 12:46Speaker 1: ashes in revenge. Her name is Jessica Wade and she
- 12:49Speaker 1: is the author of The Widow's Guide to Dead Bastards.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I did more research on this topic and it does,
- 12:54Speaker 1: in fact ring true, not only the book real. She's
- 13:01Speaker 1: not self published. This is from Simon and Schuster. Oh wow, yeah,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and it's it actually came out in July. The book did,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and we didn't cover all the details yesterday when we
- 13:20Speaker 1: first discussed it. Okay, what I mean by that is
- 13:24Speaker 1: we talked about how after her husband died, this woman
- 13:27Speaker 1: goes through all his stuff, starts with the iPad and
- 13:29Speaker 1: discovers all these terrible things, starting with his extremely organized
- 13:36Speaker 1: porn collection, tabulated organized into specific folders based on location
- 13:42Speaker 1: and type, and all these different ways in which you
- 13:44Speaker 1: can organize anything. I guess she can also do it
- 13:48Speaker 1: with porn. So she went through all that. Then she
- 13:50Speaker 1: found that on his business trips he was inviting ladies
- 13:54Speaker 1: of the night into his hotel room and ordering room
- 13:57Speaker 1: service for two and mimosas porn and hookers. And that
- 14:02Speaker 1: actually sounds like a new brunch spot in Dallas, now
- 14:07Speaker 1: that I'm saying it out loud, probably see that on
- 14:09Speaker 1: the love list or something, But there was a little
- 14:12Speaker 1: bit more to the story. She Initially, after he was cremated,
- 14:16Speaker 1: she was so mad at him. She mixed his ashes
- 14:20Speaker 1: with dog feces and spread it around in the garden
- 14:22Speaker 1: or something. And then that wasn't good enough because she
- 14:26Speaker 1: was so mad because she felt that porn had cannibalized
- 14:31Speaker 1: their relationship, she decided to also eat some of his ashes.
- 14:37Speaker 1: And that's disgusting, Yeah, and it's also attension getting. But
- 14:44Speaker 1: there is a little bit more that we didn't get.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She admits to have been detached from reality in the
- 14:51Speaker 1: wake of her husband's death. There was more humiliation in
- 14:54Speaker 1: store for her. When she traveled to Denver to clear
- 14:56Speaker 1: out his bachelor apartment, she found a hard plugged into
- 15:01Speaker 1: the computer, discovered he had created countless electronic folders filled
- 15:04Speaker 1: with hundreds of hours worth of porn. Told you about that.
- 15:10Speaker 1: She also spent hours going through this archive trying to
- 15:12Speaker 1: understand what on earth had been in her husband's head.
- 15:15Speaker 1: She stopped only when she began to worry that Sean's
- 15:18Speaker 1: pornography pornography was rewiring her own brain. Yeah, she watched
- 15:26Speaker 1: so much of her Jesus Christ, I cannot talk today.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Jessica watched so much of her husband's porn collection, her
- 15:34Speaker 1: dead husband's porn collection, she was worried it was rewiring
- 15:37Speaker 1: her own brain. She wrote in the book how she
- 15:40Speaker 1: had been in the audience at a play when, disturbingly,
- 15:43Speaker 1: she found herself imagining one of the actresses naked because
- 15:47Speaker 1: the actress was dressed as a schoolgirl. She says that
- 15:52Speaker 1: was a turning point, realizing she had to concentrate on
- 15:55Speaker 1: protecting her son, whose name is Dash. Yeah, just let
- 16:06Speaker 1: that kind of sink in there a little bit.
- 16:08Speaker 5: This is this story just gets some better.
- 16:11Speaker 1: This is why I had to bring it back up.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, this really is something to
- 16:16Speaker 1: behold here. Husband cremated. Son's name is Dash. Okay, now
- 16:25Speaker 1: we're up.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Ah.
- 16:29Speaker 1: She had to concentrate on protecting her son Dash. Jessica
- 16:32Speaker 1: began to seek psychological help, including advice from a spiritual medium.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Oh good, let's talk to someone who speaks to ghosts.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Nine years after, countless questions about her husband's actions and
- 16:45Speaker 1: motives remain unanswered, but Jessica says she's finally reached peace
- 16:49Speaker 1: with his betrayals and his death. He wasn't only a
- 16:51Speaker 1: liar and a cheater and a betrayer. He was a
- 16:53Speaker 1: good son who loved and honored his parents. He was
- 16:56Speaker 1: a loving father to Dash. He was inspected by his colleagues.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Some shadows remained. A few years ago, Dash that's the
- 17:04Speaker 1: Sun found a specially built secret compartment in Shawn's workbench,
- 17:09Speaker 1: built to conceal the weed that sewn swore he didn't smoke,
- 17:13Speaker 1: As if all this stuff is somehow not as bad
- 17:17Speaker 1: as the weed. I don't understand that, uh, but she says,
- 17:21Speaker 1: but Dash still has good memories of his father and
- 17:25Speaker 1: context for the tough stuff, and the best of Shawn's
- 17:27Speaker 1: example to draw from. Which isn't most of that example
- 17:31Speaker 1: going to be dashed by the book You've now written
- 17:34Speaker 1: telling the world about Dash's dad and how horrible he was.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And now that I'm reading about it in the Daily Mail.
- 17:44Speaker 3: I'm confused about one thing, please, Because I think they
- 17:49Speaker 3: were married for like thirteen years or something.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I believe that's believe, that's right.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Why did he have a bachelor's apartment in Denver?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Like the views really good?
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah, wouldn't that be a bred flag right there?
- 18:10Speaker 4: I'm sure she didn't. I mean she didn't know about it.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think she knew about it.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:16Speaker 5: I'm just like, I'm like, you know, she went to
- 18:18Speaker 5: have to clear out his bachelor pad, and like then
- 18:20Speaker 5: she finds his second family. I'm like this, I'm waiting
- 18:24Speaker 5: for this part of the story.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently his second family was just the hookers, the porn,
- 18:32Speaker 1: and the weed. Jessica has now met someone else and
- 18:36Speaker 1: is trying to help others address their grief and learn
- 18:38Speaker 1: to accept it. She said, over the long term, grief
- 18:40Speaker 1: has helped me find purchase, not just inside the people
- 18:44Speaker 1: I love, but within this whole, vast and mysterious world.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Some scars have never gone away, however, and by the
- 18:50Speaker 1: sound of it, never will, she says. I feel better
- 18:52Speaker 1: and stronger than before, but I still cry almost every day,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and I still feel like a part of me has died,
- 18:58Speaker 1: because the part of me that exists within Sean died.
- 19:02Speaker 1: So once again, if you would like to purchase The
- 19:06Speaker 1: Widow's Guide to Dead Bastards, you can do that at
- 19:09Speaker 1: Jessica Waight dot work, or you might be able to
- 19:12Speaker 1: find it at Barnes and Noble. Just right there. One
- 19:14Speaker 1: of those the center Kiosks.
- 19:16Speaker 5: But didn't she say like the part of her that
- 19:18Speaker 5: died lived inside Sean? But then she ate Sean, So
- 19:21Speaker 5: I think she's Isn't she whole again.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Works?
- 19:26Speaker 1: I'm not sure how that healing journey works.
- 19:30Speaker 3: There's gonna be another book about the guy she's now with,
- 19:32Speaker 3: Why I Ate My My Wife.
- 19:40Speaker 1: And his follow up book Living Alone. Pretty good idea.

- 21:16Speaker 7: It was a party school.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We like to call it thirteenth grade.
- 21:18Speaker 7: Thirteenth grade is where we met.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I went to thirteenth grade. It was called Richland College.
- 21:23Speaker 7: I went there too. I had I have, I had
- 21:25Speaker 7: a punch card. I was trying to get, you know,
- 21:27Speaker 7: nine schools, tenth one free.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Hi, Tara.
- 21:30Speaker 11: She just walked by in the background.
- 21:31Speaker 9: But yet no.
- 21:32Speaker 7: Amber onboarded with me about three weeks ago, and so
- 21:35Speaker 7: now you have just a slightly lesser chance of catching
- 21:38Speaker 7: me on the phone if you call in. But I'm
- 21:40Speaker 7: very happy because I've been wearing one too many hats,
- 21:43Speaker 7: and so Amber's gonna take one of my hats and

- 23:14Speaker 1: that you seem to be very peppy today. You seem
- 23:16Speaker 1: to be more like yourself, feeling much better, I hope
- 23:19Speaker 1: from your illness.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I think we're I think we're ninety nine percent. I
- 23:23Speaker 5: think that's where we are.
- 23:24Speaker 4: We're good.
- 23:25Speaker 5: Nice. I went and did the I did a little
- 23:30Speaker 5: research before I was going to go to like an
- 23:32Speaker 5: urgent care or the er. Like that's how bad it
- 23:34Speaker 5: was getting with just a no sleep and the projectile
- 23:38Speaker 5: vomiting of anything that I tried to put down and
- 23:43Speaker 5: just started doing like, hey, what let me I remember
- 23:46Speaker 5: doing when I dated this role Meghan, when we would
- 23:49Speaker 5: go out and drink, she would do ivs when we
- 23:52Speaker 5: were hung over the next morning, I'm like, let me
- 23:53Speaker 5: see if there's an IV place nearby, and yeah, and
- 23:57Speaker 5: it's Mesquites, so I'm like, there's probably not. So I
- 24:01Speaker 5: was like and I found one that's walking distance from
- 24:04Speaker 5: the house and went in and it was super cheap
- 24:09Speaker 5: and they had an immune boost IV with you know
- 24:13Speaker 5: your B complex, your saline of like just a leader
- 24:18Speaker 5: of saline and you can add on stuff. And I
- 24:20Speaker 5: was nauseous, so I put in some zofran for that
- 24:23Speaker 5: because I remember getting at that at the hospital years ago,
- 24:26Speaker 5: and what is that. It's just it stops you from
- 24:30Speaker 5: like vomiting. It's like it's you can only get it
- 24:34Speaker 5: through prescription, but it's years and years and years ago.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Had a really bad flu and they gave me zofran
- 24:40Speaker 5: and it like instantly knocks out, not like twenty minutes
- 24:44Speaker 5: into the ivy like my stomach started rolling and I
- 24:46Speaker 5: hadn't been hungry in days. And then I also have psoriasis,
- 24:52Speaker 5: and so they gave me. He's like, we can do
- 24:54Speaker 5: a steroid shot for you, and I was like, yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 5: let's let's do a steroid shot. And so we finished
- 25:00Speaker 5: the IV That was really really nice. It's about forty
- 25:03Speaker 5: five minutes. There's a TV in front of you that
- 25:05Speaker 5: had Netflix, so I just watching some.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I remember we had that. We had some mobile IV
- 25:09Speaker 1: people come to the radio station years ago, and in
- 25:13Speaker 1: whatever cocktail that they gave us, like, there was vitamin
- 25:17Speaker 1: B twelve in it, and so even though it's intravenous, right,
- 25:22Speaker 1: you could taste it in the back of your throat,
- 25:24Speaker 1: which is very, very odd.
- 25:26Speaker 5: I remember, I think we talked about that a long
- 25:28Speaker 5: time ago. And I remember when I got this, just
- 25:31Speaker 5: watching the Netflix, and I was like, oh.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Yep, there it is. It's kicking in.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:39Speaker 5: And then and it's super cheap as opposed to going
- 25:42Speaker 5: to the hospital and paying thousands of bot Yeah. I
- 25:45Speaker 5: paid like two hundred and seventy five dollars for everything,
- 25:48Speaker 5: including the steroid shot and then yeah. And she's like,
- 25:52Speaker 5: are you ready for your shot? I said, yes, I am,
- 25:55Speaker 5: And I go which arm D needs. She goes, nope,
- 25:57Speaker 5: need your butt. And I was like, whoa, this is weird.
- 26:01Speaker 5: I haven't had a shot in my since I.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Was a kid.
- 26:03Speaker 5: I think at the doctor. I think that's back in
- 26:05Speaker 5: the day, that's what they would do.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, I got you. Uh, And I thought you
- 26:09Speaker 1: were thinking that it's usually you requesting the butt, so
- 26:15Speaker 1: you weren't comfortable with the role reversal.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Yeah, that's uh, yeah, I understand, Like I for a moment.
- 26:22Speaker 5: I was like, oh that's that's how did he must talk? Uh,
- 26:27Speaker 5: I want your butt. I was like, oh, there we
- 26:28Speaker 5: go and I and I gave it to.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Her and I was like, it's the power.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Uh. It actually was one of his songs. It was
- 26:35Speaker 1: just one of his b sides.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Uh.
- 26:40Speaker 5: And I was like, are you sure. She's like, yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 5: it's got to be somewhere really fleshy. And I was like,
- 26:44Speaker 5: you don't know me. I don't have a butt, but okay,
- 26:46Speaker 5: you can try to find it if you like. She's like,
- 26:49Speaker 5: it's really powerful, just to let you know. And she'm
- 26:52Speaker 5: she did the shot and it's.
- 26:54Speaker 1: All of the disclaimer as you're bent over in front
- 26:56Speaker 1: of someone.
- 26:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And I was hanging on it's going to be really bad.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like She's like, I need
- 27:02Speaker 5: your button. It's gonna be powerful. I'm like, this are
- 27:04Speaker 5: we in prison? What's happening? And she gave me the
- 27:08Speaker 5: shot and I have fallen asleep like getting tattoos, and
- 27:11Speaker 5: this woke me up. I was like, oh, this is yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 5: that does hurt. And she goes, it's going to give
- 27:17Speaker 5: you a lot of energy. I was like, sure, sounds
- 27:20Speaker 5: good and I cause I can walk to it. I
- 27:22Speaker 5: got home and I was like kind of sitting on
- 27:25Speaker 5: the couch watching some TV. And I was like, and
- 27:28Speaker 5: I don't know where it came from, Like all of
- 27:30Speaker 5: a sudden, I was like, I have to clean. Uh well,
- 27:33Speaker 5: I have to clean everything. And then Nicky comes home
- 27:37Speaker 5: and she's like, what are you doing? I was like,
- 27:38Speaker 5: I am cleaning. She's like, what is wrong with you?
- 27:42Speaker 4: This?
- 27:42Speaker 1: He gave me the cocaine bag at the IVY place.
- 27:46Speaker 4: I got the meth. H yeah. I was like, uh,
- 27:50Speaker 4: I go.
- 27:50Speaker 5: They gave me this steroid thing and it and they
- 27:53Speaker 5: said it's gonna give me energy. And now I want
- 27:55Speaker 5: to clean everything. She's like, can we get you that
- 27:57Speaker 5: every week?
- 27:58Speaker 6: Uh?
- 27:58Speaker 5: You just you can just clean? And I mean I
- 28:01Speaker 5: just did. I couldn't stop doing stuff. And I would
- 28:04Speaker 5: like start cleaning over here and then go over here
- 28:06Speaker 5: and do the dishes, and I'd go back over there
- 28:07Speaker 5: to clean, and so I just kept going back and forth.
- 28:10Speaker 4: But it was it was amazing. Uh.
- 28:12Speaker 1: There was I remember there was an episode of mad Men.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Have you have you ever seen mad Men? Rush?
- 28:17Speaker 4: I have not.
- 28:18Speaker 1: There was a there was an episode of mad men
- 28:19Speaker 1: where they're you know, it's about an advertising agency and
- 28:22Speaker 1: like the late sixties, early seventies when this episode John Ham, right,
- 28:25Speaker 1: John Ham, Yeah, and they're on this deadline. They've got
- 28:28Speaker 1: to get stuff in over the weekend, so they bring
- 28:30Speaker 1: in the doctor who gives them all basically medical grade
- 28:33Speaker 1: speed and god knows what else, and all these ad
- 28:36Speaker 1: people are bouncing around the office doing sprints and somersaults
- 28:39Speaker 1: and doing creative work. So it sounds like exactly what
- 28:42Speaker 1: you got.
- 28:43Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.
- 28:44Speaker 5: It was incredible, Like I haven't had that much. But
- 28:47Speaker 5: here's the thing with the I've never done any speed
- 28:50Speaker 5: in my life, so I've always yeah, well, I mean.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Until the other day. I've always heard about.
- 28:57Speaker 5: The come down, and then that's real, really yeah, because
- 29:02Speaker 5: when it, when it wears off, you're sleepy.
- 29:07Speaker 1: All of a sudden, that urged to clean just kind
- 29:09Speaker 1: of melted away.
- 29:10Speaker 5: I started watching the game. I was like, I'm done cleaning.
- 29:14Speaker 5: He's like, what happened. I was like, I think it
- 29:16Speaker 5: wore off. I'm watching the game and I'm back to me.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Now Steroid Roger's gone.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I can understand her running him back. Though. Yeah, I
- 29:29Speaker 1: never I never got that much of reaction out of
- 29:32Speaker 1: any IV bag thing that I've had voluntarily, you know
- 29:35Speaker 1: what I mean, Like a voluntary IV bag maybe a
- 29:39Speaker 1: little energy, but clearly when I got the ones that
- 29:42Speaker 1: I got, they were not to the level that you received.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And I wasn't sick at the time, so they were
- 29:46Speaker 1: just kind of giving me just general good stuff like Okay,
- 29:50Speaker 1: here's a it's basically an iv B vitamin thing that
- 29:54Speaker 1: I got.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Yeah, mine was a mix of like all the minerals
- 29:58Speaker 5: that you don't normally get. Your body's like this is great,
- 30:02Speaker 5: We've been missing this, and then the steroid shot on
- 30:04Speaker 5: top of it.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Just I was super raj. I was like, red, let's
- 30:09Speaker 4: keep going.
- 30:09Speaker 1: And then you got Yeah, you got the breaking bad bag.
- 30:13Speaker 4: I got the blue bag. I'm like, let's go.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Not only can you taste the BEE twelve in the
- 30:20Speaker 1: back of your throat, but you could taste something kind
- 30:21Speaker 1: of crunchy in the back of your teeth as well,
- 30:27Speaker 1: um numb numb numbers.

- 32:33Speaker 1: do you know what a pumpkin pounder is?
- 32:40Speaker 4: Category on Pornhub?
- 32:42Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good guess, Trey.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Do you know?
- 32:44Speaker 1: Just yes or no? Trey? Do you know what a
- 32:46Speaker 1: pumpkin pounder is?
- 32:47Speaker 2: No?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Good, cause you're about to learn.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Son.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I'm going to let this lovely young lady share with
- 32:57Speaker 1: you not only what a pumpkin pounder is is, but
- 33:02Speaker 1: it turns out Halloween has been rebranded. Are you ready?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 33:07Speaker 11: If you're a pumpkin pounder, please listen up. The thirty
- 33:10Speaker 11: first of October, we are celebrating Pumpkin pound a Day. Yes,
- 33:14Speaker 11: formerly known as Halloween, but now we're rebranding it because
- 33:17Speaker 11: redheads are going extinct and we do need to save them,
- 33:20Speaker 11: and the only day that can do this is Pumpkin
- 33:22Speaker 11: pound a Day. If you don't know what a pumpkin
- 33:24Speaker 11: pounder is and you think you potentially could be one,
- 33:27Speaker 11: it is someone who pounds pumpkins aka gingersity. First of October,
- 33:32Speaker 11: get it in.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Your diary, all right? So there's a lot to unpacked there,
- 33:36Speaker 1: the first thing of which is, now you know what
- 33:38Speaker 1: a pumpkin pounder is. That's someone that likes having sex
- 33:40Speaker 1: with redheads. What's that? Tray?
- 33:44Speaker 2: I love her?
- 33:47Speaker 1: What do you love about her? Trey?
- 33:49Speaker 2: She's a ginger and has the British accident.
- 33:53Speaker 1: You know, I've got to say, Tray, I've known you
- 33:55Speaker 1: for over twenty years now, and I don't think I
- 33:58Speaker 1: knew that you were this tracted to redheads. The accent.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I knew that, but I didn't know this about you
- 34:03Speaker 1: with the redheads.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's true. They tend to be a
- 34:07Speaker 2: little crazier.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And that makes sense. Now, So you, Trey, are a
- 34:15Speaker 1: pumpkin pounder.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'd like to be. It's my goal in life.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Oh, you've never pounded a pumpkin before?
- 34:23Speaker 2: I have, but I'd like to do it again.
- 34:27Speaker 5: What if it's fake red hairs? Are you a quarter pounder?
- 34:30Speaker 5: I don't know how that works.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Half pounder?
- 34:37Speaker 1: Like I'll admit when I first saw this, I was like,
- 34:39Speaker 1: pumpkin pounder? What the hell is? The first thing I
- 34:42Speaker 1: thought of was some sort of bastardization of you know,
- 34:45Speaker 1: Jim from American Pie instead of American pie. He's, you know,
- 34:49Speaker 1: getting at a jack a lantern type of thing, which
- 34:52Speaker 1: I guess if you cut the mouth shaped just right
- 34:54Speaker 1: then I guess that would make sense. It's just going
- 34:57Speaker 1: to make it really awkward when someone goes back and
- 34:59Speaker 1: checks their ring doorbell camera. Like you thought you were
- 35:05Speaker 1: worried about porch pirates this time of year, but you
- 35:07Speaker 1: also gotta worry about the pumpkin pounders running around the
- 35:11Speaker 1: neighbor But this is why education is so important, because
- 35:18Speaker 1: you need to know that it's not some weird TikTok
- 35:20Speaker 1: trend that you're supposed to literally pound a pumpkin or
- 35:24Speaker 1: have sex with a pumpkin. It's just a euphemism for
- 35:27Speaker 1: having sex with redheads. But at least now you know
- 35:34Speaker 1: and Trey and this is the one way in which
- 35:38Speaker 1: I think you would absolutely celebrate Halloween because the rebranding
- 35:44Speaker 1: from Halloween to Pumpkin Pounder Day, I think is right
- 35:46Speaker 1: up your alley.
- 35:47Speaker 3: Absolutely, that's the best day of the yearday.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd go from my second least favorite to top
- 35:59Speaker 2: of the list.
- 36:02Speaker 4: With a bullet.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Probably to my head.
- 36:10Speaker 1: It is sort of like a not fatal attraction thing.
- 36:18Speaker 1: What's I'm brain farting on the film with Michael Douglas
- 36:21Speaker 1: and Sharon Stone where She's crazy. This is sort of
- 36:25Speaker 1: like a basic instinct thing for you, Trey. You're violently
- 36:29Speaker 1: attracted in a good way to redheads, and you love
- 36:33Speaker 1: an English accent. This young lady has both, and she's
- 36:37Speaker 1: inviting you to be a pumpkin pounder on Halloween. But
- 36:42Speaker 1: because you know, redheads are crazier than your average hair
- 36:45Speaker 1: colored woman, it is possible that she may have an
- 36:48Speaker 1: ice pick underneath the pillar.
- 36:50Speaker 3: And by the way, not just British, you know, I'll
- 36:52Speaker 3: take Scottish, Irish and Australian. There you go, all kinds
- 36:57Speaker 3: of derivatives of the same, you know, basic but yes, yeah,
- 37:00Speaker 3: especially Ausi's.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Dirty, okay, dirt. You love a good dirty Aussie. Oh yeah, Oi.
- 37:08Speaker 1: What are your feelings on the Welsh well being that
- 37:13Speaker 1: I am, I am, My heritage is Welsh.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I'm good, Okay?
- 37:20Speaker 3: You know that that means if I ever met a
- 37:22Speaker 3: Welsh woman it would probably that would be the death
- 37:24Speaker 3: of me, because yeah, she would probably match my crazy.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah for sure.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Yeah, then you two can just hold ice picks at
- 37:33Speaker 1: each other's throats all night.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Long.
- 37:35Speaker 5: But so she's saying on the thirty first, is there
- 37:40Speaker 5: is there a meet up place where you can all
- 37:42Speaker 5: pumpkin pound.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Let's uh, let's let's revisit this briefly until we can
- 37:47Speaker 1: finally answer to your question.
- 37:48Speaker 11: You're a pumpkin pounder, please listen up. The thirty first
- 37:51Speaker 11: of October, we are celebrating Pumpkin pound a Day. Yes,
- 37:55Speaker 11: formerly known as Halloween, but now we're rebranding it because
- 37:58Speaker 11: redheads are going extinct and we do need to save them,
- 38:00Speaker 11: and the only day that can do this is Pumpkin
- 38:03Speaker 11: Pounder Day. If you don't know what a pumpkin pounder
- 38:05Speaker 11: is and you think you potentially could be one, it
- 38:08Speaker 11: is someone who pounds pumpkins aka gingersity. First of October,
- 38:12Speaker 11: get it in your diary, all right, So.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Raj, your question is what now?
- 38:16Speaker 4: I thought that would be?
- 38:17Speaker 5: Like I thought he was trying to organize a like
- 38:20Speaker 5: a pumpkin pounder fest, like where you can show up
- 38:25Speaker 5: to a certain place and find a pumpkin a pound.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Oh, you clearly go to the pumpkin pounding patch. I
- 38:36Speaker 1: thought that was obvious.
- 38:39Speaker 5: The trays looking like he's looking it up on his phone,
- 38:41Speaker 5: like a pumpkin pounding patch near.
- 38:48Speaker 2: If you see a ginger that day, just go.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Hey, thirty first of October.
- 38:52Speaker 2: It's for humanity.
- 38:54Speaker 5: That's right, I'm saving you bitches.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Yeah, well, not only Trey. Surprise that there is a
- 39:02Speaker 1: thing called pumpkin pounding day, Raj, you're surprised to know
- 39:06Speaker 1: that there's probably a pumpkin pounding patch. Just wait until
- 39:09Speaker 1: you see Charlie Brown's reaction.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Shot, or just hey, stay away from McDonald's that day.
- 39:17Speaker 3: That's that ginger doesn't count.
- 39:30Speaker 10: You're listening to the Treehouse. Visit us online a treehouse
- 39:34Speaker 10: on air dot com.
- 39:51Speaker 6: You're in the treehouse.

- 40:18Speaker 1: your plumbing wants and needs. Uh. Rog you said McDonald's.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Wouldn't be the only Yeah, McDonald's.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Just hang on hand. For sure, you said Donald's wouldn't
- 40:30Speaker 1: be the only spot to stay away from for pumpkin pounding.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's you want to stay away from
- 40:35Speaker 5: there for sure. Uh but the can the line at
- 40:38Speaker 5: Wendy's is going to be so long. A pumpkin pound
- 40:45Speaker 5: and a frosty come.
- 40:45Speaker 1: On now, Oh my god. Just imagine if those two
- 40:48Speaker 1: fast food places were across the street from one another,
- 40:51Speaker 1: just just eyeing each other all day.
- 40:56Speaker 4: That's a weird threesome.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Those three old ladies show up asking where's the beef?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Damn Bugger is in the corner.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Grimace is just also in the corner.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Man, Halloween's taking a hell of a turn, and I'm
- 41:19Speaker 1: kind of excited for it, mostly for Trey.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm excited.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I think what I need to do is see if
- 41:25Speaker 1: a shirt exists that says a Happy Pumpkin Pounder Day
- 41:29Speaker 1: and or something along those lines that you that you,
- 41:33Speaker 1: Trey are a pumpkin pounder.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Yeah, just says just a shirt, you know, just a
- 41:37Speaker 5: red shirt and just says.
- 41:38Speaker 4: I'm a pumpkin pounder.
- 41:40Speaker 5: And see if anybody sees that and goes, I know,
- 41:43Speaker 5: I know what that is.
- 41:44Speaker 4: And uh, hello, tray.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think we have a crossover possibility
- 41:49Speaker 1: here we go. So you know the So what you're
- 41:51Speaker 1: going to do is you're going to have the shirt
- 41:53Speaker 1: that says I'm your Pumpkin Pounder, and it's going to
- 41:57Speaker 1: be you know, like a talk bubble over doc Holiday
- 42:05Speaker 1: from Tombstone, and then that is your Halloween costume twenty
- 42:14Speaker 1: twenty four, after you do the dogpool thing with Daisy
- 42:17Speaker 1: your chiuoha. So you're going out the shirts.
- 42:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a great shirt idea.
- 42:23Speaker 2: I'm your pump compound.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Hey, we gotta start making shirts and make Hollywood sue us.
- 42:32Speaker 4: All right.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Today is Thursday, October tenth, twenty twenty four. In case
- 42:37Speaker 1: you're counting, that means twenty one days until Pumpkin Pounder Day,
- 42:40Speaker 1: as it will now be known inside the Treehouse, Pumpkin
- 42:43Speaker 1: Pounder Day, twenty one days from now. Birthdays Today. It's
- 42:48Speaker 1: exciting day for some of these people. Today's your birthday.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Happy birthday at Garden turns thirty five. She played Julie
- 42:54Speaker 1: on Friday Night Lights. She was also one of the
- 42:57Speaker 1: victims in Scream four. Marina Diamandis turned thirty nine. She's
- 43:04Speaker 1: a British singer who used to go by the name
- 43:06Speaker 1: Marina and the Diamonds. Now she's just Marina. I don't
- 43:10Speaker 1: know if she herself was also the Diamonds or the
- 43:12Speaker 1: Diamonds was the rest of the group that she dropped.
- 43:14Speaker 1: I don't really know, and I'm not really gonna look
- 43:17Speaker 1: it up. Hailstorm singer Lizzie Hale turns forty one, absolute
- 43:22Speaker 1: badass beast of a front woman. And speaking of beasts,
- 43:27Speaker 1: he played beast in Emma Watson's live action Beauty and
- 43:31Speaker 1: the Beast. Dan Stevens is forty two. He's also in
- 43:36Speaker 1: another role that I thought he was absolutely fantastic in.
- 43:40Speaker 1: And have either of you guys seen Will Ferrell and
- 43:47Speaker 1: Dan Stevens in Eurovision Song Contest The Story of Fires Saga, Yes,
- 43:56Speaker 1: also co starring Rachel McAdams. This was on Netflix a
- 43:59Speaker 1: few years ago, and I thought it was like a
- 44:01Speaker 1: weird SNL digital short skit, and I started watching it
- 44:05Speaker 1: and it started out like a weird SNL digital short skit,
- 44:08Speaker 1: and then it turned into a whole damn movie and
- 44:11Speaker 1: I gotta admit, and now, ROJ, you're gonna be flored
- 44:13Speaker 1: by this. I loved it. And Dan Stevens, and Dan
- 44:16Speaker 1: Stevens plays a Russian star who sings his song the
- 44:25Speaker 1: Lion of Love. Raj. I didn't know that Eurovision is real. Yes,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I didn't know Eurovision is an actual song contest held
- 44:36Speaker 1: in Europe. And I had no idea until this movie
- 44:39Speaker 1: came out. I'm floored by so many things that this
- 44:42Speaker 1: movie has taught me, including I'm a huge ban of
- 44:44Speaker 1: Dan Stevens. Happy birthday to him.
- 44:46Speaker 2: And do you know who the biggest winner of Eurovision
- 44:49Speaker 2: has ever been?
- 44:50Speaker 1: The other reason why mature to bring this up?
- 44:53Speaker 4: Who?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Trey? Who is the biggest winner? Who are the biggest
- 44:56Speaker 1: winners in Eurovision history?
- 44:57Speaker 2: Abba?
- 44:58Speaker 4: Of course?
- 45:00Speaker 1: And Will Ferrell and Rachel mcadam's characters in Eurovision are
- 45:07Speaker 1: from what country?
- 45:08Speaker 2: Tray Sweden, I believe?
- 45:10Speaker 1: And who are their idols that they want to be?
- 45:12Speaker 2: Ebba?
- 45:14Speaker 1: That's why Trey loves the movie, right.
- 45:16Speaker 5: It's it's just there's so much about Tray that's so perplexing.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He's an onion.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Yeah, you start peeling layers and it's like here we
- 45:27Speaker 4: go again. Oh they don't.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Yes, look, i I've I've yet to be in any
- 45:36Speaker 1: place where an Abba song comes on and everyone wasn't
- 45:41Speaker 1: at least okay with it, like it usually puts a
- 45:44Speaker 1: smile on people's faces. They sing along.
- 45:46Speaker 4: And by everyone, you mean.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Everyone everyone that's around me.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Are no, uh uh no, sorry, this is when? Did
- 45:58Speaker 3: I see it all the time? No, abbat transverses all colors,
- 46:04Speaker 3: all sexualities, everyone.
- 46:08Speaker 4: I'll give you.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Everyone loves boobs and abba.
- 46:13Speaker 4: There's the other shirt, boobs and a.
- 46:15Speaker 1: No, Trey's right, everybody loves boobs and abba. Okay, that's
- 46:19Speaker 1: the talk bubble outside of just a photo of Trey's head,
- 46:22Speaker 1: because I I don't think you can make that makes
- 46:25Speaker 1: sense with Doc Holiday and Tumbesday, I'm your huckle bear.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Everybody loves Actually that may have worked as well.
- 46:37Speaker 4: I like it as a law firm, the law firm.
- 46:39Speaker 1: But boobs and abba, Oh that is good. That's who
- 46:44Speaker 1: i'd want representing me in my personal injury case. What
- 46:49Speaker 1: Jerry's gonna say no to boobs and abba?
- 46:53Speaker 4: Oh? Like he wears boots.
- 46:56Speaker 5: He went to ut and then there's like big bang
- 47:00Speaker 5: theory and abba and I'm like, I don't understand you.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Like I said, he's an onion, he's a he's a
- 47:08Speaker 1: sparkly seventies dancing Queen of an Onion.

- 48:34Speaker 1: you're still talking about the Eurovision thing in the break.
- 48:38Speaker 1: It is amazing how I never knew Eurovision Song contest.
- 48:42Speaker 1: The actual song contest existed, not the movie where I
- 48:45Speaker 1: learned about it from Will Ferrell. But the actual contest
- 48:49Speaker 1: is real, and it just sort of reaffirms the fact
- 48:52Speaker 1: that so many of US Americans live in our own
- 48:54Speaker 1: American bubble and don't even know stuff that happens on
- 48:57Speaker 1: the other side of the world. I'm just occasionally surprised
- 49:03Speaker 1: by my own ignorance.
- 49:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:04Speaker 5: When I was dating Anna, you remember Anna, Yeah, British Hanna, yep.
- 49:09Speaker 5: And she's the one who was like, you was talking
- 49:12Speaker 5: about the Eurovision contest and I was like, I don't
- 49:14Speaker 5: know what you're talking about.
- 49:15Speaker 4: She's like, how do you guys not know about this?
- 49:16Speaker 5: And she found the place online, I think where we
- 49:19Speaker 5: could watch the competition and it was really cool because
- 49:22Speaker 5: the prize is huge for those guys over there get
- 49:24Speaker 5: they get to do all the talk shows and all
- 49:26Speaker 5: the h and it really really turns them into superstars.
- 49:30Speaker 5: So it was kind of American Idol before American Idol,
- 49:33Speaker 5: or The Voice before the Voice kind of thing.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Yeah, the again, having no knowledge of it before the
- 49:40Speaker 1: Eurovision movie and then learning about the actual contest, like
- 49:44Speaker 1: it's The movies are pretty accurate representation of the contest
- 49:49Speaker 1: as a whole about how big of a deal it
- 49:51Speaker 1: is and how countries select, like the Hunger Games, the
- 49:58Speaker 1: artist that's going directri synth them in Eurovision Song Contest.
- 50:02Speaker 1: It's a major national glory type national pride thing, the
- 50:07Speaker 1: Eurovision Contest. And the reason why those of us in
- 50:11Speaker 1: America didn't know about it beforehand is because we don't
- 50:13Speaker 1: know about anything unless America's kicking ass in it.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Correct.
- 50:18Speaker 1: We know soccer exists, but unless an American is kicking
- 50:21Speaker 1: ass in it, we don't care. We don't really do
- 50:23Speaker 1: much about it. That's changing somewhat now with soccer, but
- 50:26Speaker 1: it's a hell of an uphill climb. Cricket is another
- 50:29Speaker 1: good example. There was some huge cricket thing happening in
- 50:32Speaker 1: North Texas. I think it was last weekend, and there
- 50:36Speaker 1: was an alleged major cricket star in town to meet
- 50:39Speaker 1: fans and things. But you know, his name wasn't exactly
- 50:43Speaker 1: American sounding, so I don't know how many people actually
- 50:46Speaker 1: showed up to the thing because there's not an American
- 50:49Speaker 1: kicking ass in cricket that I'm aware of.
- 50:51Speaker 4: I believe he was Indian that showed up.
- 50:53Speaker 5: I think I don't remember his name either, but my
- 50:57Speaker 5: family name sounded Islamic.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Dallas has a cricket team.
- 51:02Speaker 4: Now, oh it's had one for ages.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I mean yeah with Texans that I really should rephrase
- 51:15Speaker 1: that because Raj, you're a Texan, I.
- 51:17Speaker 4: Know, but this is more Indian, less cowboy.
- 51:20Speaker 5: So but yeah, I mean there, if you look it up,
- 51:26Speaker 5: there's I think I brought this up before.
- 51:29Speaker 4: Look up the Compton Cricket Team. That's real.
- 51:33Speaker 1: How is that not a Disney movie already?
- 51:36Speaker 4: Because the outcome wasn't great? Is it?
- 51:39Speaker 1: Well? Okay? Is is it?
- 51:43Speaker 4: So?
- 51:43Speaker 1: They're known as the Compton Cricket Team or is the
- 51:47Speaker 1: mascot actually the crickets?
- 51:49Speaker 4: No, no, no, it's the Compton Cricket Club.
- 51:51Speaker 5: And it was founded by this man who's trying to help,
- 51:54Speaker 5: you know, at risk youth. And they did really, really well,
- 51:58Speaker 5: and they were invited over to a cricket tournament and
- 52:04Speaker 5: like the team couldn't go because they were felons and
- 52:08Speaker 5: had warrants so.
- 52:09Speaker 1: And the felons don't get passports and.
- 52:13Speaker 4: That, but they also had warrants.
- 52:14Speaker 5: So when it was released in the newspaper that these
- 52:17Speaker 5: guys all got invited, ninety of his team that arrested
- 52:21Speaker 5: for the outstanding warrants.
- 52:23Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, I appreciate someone trying to help
- 52:28Speaker 1: people in trouble with the law, those that have had
- 52:31Speaker 1: run ins with the law criminals, But I think you
- 52:35Speaker 1: don't have to choose a sport that arms them with
- 52:39Speaker 1: large wooden paddles. I mean, he gave them the deadly weapons,
- 52:44Speaker 1: you know, to learn and be better. I don't know,
- 52:48Speaker 1: maybe tether ball instead.
- 52:52Speaker 4: I think there is tether ball in prison. No, no, I'm.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Talking about like if if you're trying to save at
- 52:59Speaker 1: risky youth from becoming criminals, maybe don't arm them. Like
- 53:04Speaker 1: I don't think there's a Compton shooting Club team, is there?
- 53:11Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, the bloods and the crips like those guys.
- 53:15Speaker 5: I don't know how, I don't know how the competition works.
- 53:18Speaker 1: But do they yell pull before they hit the cast?
- 53:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 53:25Speaker 5: But that's like baseball, Like you don't want to let
- 53:27Speaker 5: them play baseball. You don't want to let them. I
- 53:29Speaker 5: mean there's a lot of sports that will arm you.
- 53:31Speaker 5: Uh yeah, even golf.
- 53:38Speaker 2: Backfired and tiger woods.
- 53:45Speaker 1: That backfired. Hard to own sport, not the three would
- 53:56Speaker 1: that's that's my baby. All right, thanks hanging out with
