- 0:44Speaker 1: Juicy Scoop.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have my friend
- 0:50Speaker 3: Jill Zarin. I think I met you in 2008. Her boyfriend, Gary.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I think you guys have been together for what, four years?
- 0:57Speaker 2: Seven years.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Six years. Bobby passed six years ago on January 13th.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It just passed.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Six years.
- 1:04Speaker 3: But you don't want to say you were together for
- 1:06Speaker 3: six years then.
- 1:07Speaker 2: No.
- 1:07Speaker 1: We were pretty much, yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: No, there's a respectable amount of time in the Jewish
- 1:11Speaker 2: religion that you cannot date.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Actually, do you know what the rule is in the
- 1:15Speaker 1: Jewish religion?
- 1:15Speaker 2: I do.
- 1:16Speaker 1: This is very interesting. I didn't know this until I
- 1:17Speaker 1: became a widow, actually. So based on the old, old times, women, wives,
- 1:23Speaker 1: 30 days of mourning. And then because I guess women,
- 1:26Speaker 1: first of all, died much younger in childbirth years, that
- 1:30Speaker 1: a woman would get remarried and move on 30 days.
- 1:33Speaker 3: If it's a.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Parent, because you only have one mother and you only
- 1:36Speaker 1: have one father, a year of mourning.
- 1:39Speaker 3: A year of mourning.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But a spouse, 30 days. And just move on to
- 1:42Speaker 1: the next one.
- 1:43Speaker 3: That was the oldest. Okay, well, good for you. So anyway.
- 1:45Speaker 2: You did it.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Yeah, Gary was the best thing.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I never left.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And he never left?
- 1:50Speaker 2: No, that's the key to winning is just never leave.
- 1:54Speaker 3: He never left.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Show up and never leave. I don't know.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Jill, you just came off of a show. Can you
- 2:03Speaker 3: tell us about it? It's called Worst Cooks in America.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:07Speaker 3: But you're actually a good cook. How did you get
- 2:09Speaker 3: this part?
- 2:10Speaker 1: I was hosting.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Oh, you hosted it.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Hosted the finale between the two last.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Can you tell us who was on it? Because it's
- 2:18Speaker 3: aired now.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Don't remember their names, to be honest.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I remember the names.
- 2:22Speaker 3: I can look it up.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Can I look it up?
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, sure. It was, oh God, you look it up.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Well, just tell us if you know the name.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Gary doesn't remember anything.
- 2:29Speaker 3: So you were lying just then.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Okay, well, Anne Burrell and Tiffany Derry were the hosts.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And I don't know who they were. Adrian Chetum and
- 2:39Speaker 1: Michael Jenkins. Yep, I think that was it.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Are they actors? If I can read this.
- 2:44Speaker 1: No, they're just regular people.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Oh.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's been on 27 years.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Of course. The show's been on 27 years.
- 2:51Speaker 1: The show's been on 27 seasons, yes. 27 seasons.
- 2:55Speaker 3: It's called Worst Cooks.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And it's in America.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Oh, I thought. Okay, I know they did a celebrity
- 3:01Speaker 3: version of Worst Cooks where Tori Spelling was on it.
- 3:04Speaker 3: So I thought you were with celebrities and you didn't
- 3:07Speaker 3: remember who the celebrities were.
- 3:09Speaker 1: No. That's why I'm like, I don't remember their names.
- 3:11Speaker 1: But I actually did what I was supposed to do
- 3:14Speaker 1: and then I left, so I don't know who won.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't know who won. But it smelled good. It
- 3:18Speaker 1: smelled good.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And they made us lunch. It was delicious.
- 3:21Speaker 1: They made us lunch in the back. This was the
- 3:24Speaker 1: most unbelievable BLT I ever had in my life.
- 3:26Speaker 2: It was three different cheeses.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Was that what it was?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:29Speaker 2: It was really good.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Let's get into what else is going on. You're also
- 3:34Speaker 3: on Below Deck.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Gary likes to call.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Below Dreck. He's always saying that. It's the wrong time
- 3:40Speaker 2: to make jokes like that.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Did you enjoy the experience? Or did it feel like
- 3:44Speaker 3: work having to put the mic on? Because you've obviously
- 3:46Speaker 3: been on.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Did I put a mic on?
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yes. You were mic'd.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 3:51Speaker 2: Only in the bedroom.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Gary, stop.
- 3:54Speaker 2: No, I was mic'd in the bedroom, but you were not.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Gary, were we mic'd?
- 3:58Speaker 2: The whole time, absolutely.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Of course you have to be mic'd. I just got
- 4:00Speaker 3: the email because I'm like on the list of like,
- 4:04Speaker 3: do I know anybody? Would I like to do it?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Oh, to do it with Upload Deck?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yes. They're doing a new one in St. Martin.
- 4:12Speaker 2: We'll do it with you. We have someone to be
- 4:14Speaker 2: a host.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I do not want to do it.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Why?
- 4:16Speaker 1: It was fun.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It was fun. I would do it if it was free.
- 4:20Speaker 3: But it's still $ 50, 000 or $ 50, 000. Oh, yes.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Our friends paid for it. It's still $ 55, 000.
- 4:27Speaker 3: And then the tip.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And it's very short. I mean, it really is. It's
- 4:30Speaker 1: literally for five meals. Five meals.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's it.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And you're all gone. Five meals.
- 4:34Speaker 3: This was three or four nights. So you choose three
- 4:36Speaker 3: or four nights.
- 4:37Speaker 1: No, it's like two nights.
- 4:38Speaker 2: You have to be comfortable in a bathing suit. And
- 4:39Speaker 2: I had absolutely no problem walking around.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Everyone else had a problem. Gary was fine. He loves
- 4:45Speaker 1: himself very much.
- 4:46Speaker 3: You know, that's the thing about reality TV, though. It's like.
- 4:49Speaker 3: And any kind of TV. Like you look at yourself
- 4:51Speaker 3: in the mirror and you're like, okay, I look pretty
- 4:54Speaker 3: good in this, you know, bikini. But then from the side,
- 4:59Speaker 3: from the back, like all of that.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it was rough. But we went to Granada. I
- 5:06Speaker 1: guess they said that now. I wouldn't say it's my
- 5:08Speaker 1: favorite place I've been to in the Caribbean, to be honest.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Of course, I did not experience the island, to be fair.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I literally got off the island, stayed in a hotel,
- 5:15Speaker 1: came to– Kate got on the boat. I can't say
- 5:19Speaker 1: much about it yet because I don't want to get
- 5:20Speaker 1: in trouble. But I'll say that we were hosted by
- 5:23Speaker 1: our friends. We had a great time. I'm glad I
- 5:26Speaker 1: did it. But it is only five meals. I mean,
- 5:28Speaker 1: literally counted. So you arrive on the boat for lunch
- 5:31Speaker 1: and you have lunch and dinner. The next day you
- 5:33Speaker 1: have three meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner. And then the last
- 5:36Speaker 1: day is breakfast. You're off the boat by 11 o'clock.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You did only two nights.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Two nights. But they call it three days, but it's
- 5:43Speaker 1: two nights.
- 5:43Speaker 3: What they were offering was three or four nights. So
- 5:47Speaker 3: it's like, you know, minimum 50.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like 50 grand plus tip. Yeah, it is.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Actually, yeah, so it's like 75,000, yeah. Yeah, no, it
- 5:58Speaker 3: definitely is.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Which isn't like, is really, listen, it's not.
- 6:02Speaker 3: That bad if you bring on three other couples if
- 6:05Speaker 3: you really wanted to and everyone split it up. I mean,
- 6:08Speaker 3: it's not that bad, but I'm just kind of like, what?
- 6:11Speaker 3: I just think whenever, I just see how people talk about.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Well, sometimes they make fun of you.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I've seen it. They make fun of you.
- 6:18Speaker 1: And you're paying to get made fun of.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And then the fans make fun of you.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like that part.
- 6:21Speaker 3: So I'm like, I don't know.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But for us, I mean, we had a good time
- 6:25Speaker 1: because I'm comfortable in front of cameras.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And who wouldn't want to go on a 190-foot yacht.
- 6:29Speaker 2: For three days?
- 6:30Speaker 3: And was the food, in your opinion, amazing?
- 6:32Speaker 1: I can't say anything, but can I come back on
- 6:37Speaker 1: after the show airs?
- 6:38Speaker 3: Why don't you just say if your opinion was it wasn't.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It was an impossible group to please.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It's probably part of the show.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Okay, to be fair.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Well, that's what they want. They want an impossible group
- 6:47Speaker 3: to please.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Well, this was really impossible.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Jill made it worse.
- 6:49Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 6:50Speaker 1: First of all, I gave two pages of recommendations, but
- 6:53Speaker 1: my girlfriend is vegan.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And- She's allergic to carbon.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And allergic to a lot of stuff.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Carbon?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yes, she's allergic to carbon.
- 7:01Speaker 1: What are you talking about? She's not allergic to carbon.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means. Don't listen to Gary.
- 7:05Speaker 3: If you're going to do weird, dumb jokes, I'm going
- 7:07Speaker 3: to ask you not to be part of it.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Gary.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Because it's too confusing to the audience. It is.
- 7:11Speaker 1: And I don't know why you do that.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Carbon's an element that's in everything. So it's a joke
- 7:14Speaker 2: for the chemists out there. I'm sorry, but I think
- 7:17Speaker 2: there are some more juicy scoopers. Okay. Okay.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Well, I'm not that smart. I'm a juicy scooper, I guess.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I want to hear from you, but not that. Because
- 7:22Speaker 3: that's just like a confusing thing as we do the interview. Yeah,
- 7:23Speaker 3: you confused me.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Why are you saying that? Anyway, my girlfriend has multiple allergies,
- 7:27Speaker 1: multiple things, and her husband's a vegan, she's a vegan, pescatarian.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I mean, the guy had everything.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:33Speaker 1: So, you know, if he gave us water, then we
- 7:34Speaker 1: could all, you know, eat it. So it was tough.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But we had a great time.
- 7:38Speaker 3: And that is where you told me that you told
- 7:41Speaker 3: them the proper Diet Coke. And ever since you've told
- 7:45Speaker 3: me that, it's honestly been eye-opening, which is, as you know,
- 7:51Speaker 3: Jill is a huge Diet Coke person. She does not
- 7:54Speaker 3: drink alcohol. Right. She asked for Diet Coke, and it
- 7:58Speaker 3: was always flat. And the key to a good Diet
- 8:01Speaker 3: Coke is it has to already be cold in a fridge.
- 8:04Speaker 3: That's right. And then poured over ice. Correct. It cannot
- 8:07Speaker 3: be room temperature and then poured over ice. And I
- 8:12Speaker 3: just don't think enough people know that.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I think you should educate them.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Well, I just did. I know.
- 8:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I think you definitely should. Because you educated me.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah. It's true.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Have you tried it since? Have you ever paid attention
- 8:21Speaker 1: with someone pouring warm soda? I just said yes. Is
- 8:23Speaker 1: that what's happened to you?
- 8:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Ever since you said it, I said yes. Now, Jill,
- 8:29Speaker 3: you are a Jewish mother and you wrote a book.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:33Speaker 3: And I would like to just go through some people,
- 8:36Speaker 3: some housewives, and get your advice as a Jewish mother
- 8:39Speaker 3: of what they should do now in their career. Now,
- 8:44Speaker 3: your girl Ramona, she, you know, got in some trouble
- 8:49Speaker 3: right before.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Ramona can't help herself.
- 8:52Speaker 4: I love her.
- 8:53Speaker 3: But you do love her.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I do love her.
- 8:55Speaker 3: So do you think she's done with reality TV? She's
- 8:59Speaker 3: got a real boyfriend.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think she should be done. I think for her,
- 9:02Speaker 1: she's in a great place right now. She's really happy.
- 9:05Speaker 1: She's got an amazing guy. And the last thing she
- 9:08Speaker 1: needs is anything to go in between that. It's not
- 9:11Speaker 1: about the money. You know what I mean? It's not
- 9:14Speaker 1: about money. So that's my advice. And I told her that.
- 9:18Speaker 3: And, you know, they did the Ultimate Girls Trip without you.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Did anybody watch that? Was that like– I didn't hear
- 9:24Speaker 1: anyone talk about it at all. And I'm not being mean.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm not saying, you know, this isn't like Sour Grapes.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Please don't take it that way. I will tell you
- 9:30Speaker 3: exactly what I think.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:31Speaker 3: So when I first saw it, there were a couple
- 9:34Speaker 3: episodes out. And I really– I'm going to sneeze.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 9:38Speaker 3: No.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 9:40Speaker 3: And I really– I enjoyed it. Like I was like, oh,
- 9:43Speaker 3: this is fun. It's beautiful to look at. It was
- 9:46Speaker 3: kind of funny. And then– As each week went on.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Did kind of like– well, what was nice is they
- 9:55Speaker 3: weren't– there wasn't that much drama or anything with it.
- 9:58Speaker 3: So unlike other housewives episodes where you're like, what's going
- 10:02Speaker 3: to happen next? Oh, my God, it's leading up to
- 10:04Speaker 3: the wedding. It's leading up to this. There wasn't that.
- 10:07Speaker 1: A reason to tune in again.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah. So I do think people liked it, that watched it,
- 10:12Speaker 3: but I don't think it got a lot of buzz
- 10:14Speaker 3: for that reason. Can I give you my opinion? Yes, please.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm going to give you my opinion. And this is
- 10:18Speaker 1: just my opinion. I know no facts.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I don't know if I should say this or not,
- 10:23Speaker 1: but I will. And I told this to Ramona. I
- 10:26Speaker 1: think that the network, when they decided to do this show,
- 10:30Speaker 1: it was a backup plan to whether the new cast
- 10:33Speaker 1: of season 14 of The Real Housewives would make it
- 10:35Speaker 1: or not. So that in case it didn't do well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: they still had the oldies and the goodies to pull
- 10:40Speaker 1: out of a hat and to have something, right? I
- 10:43Speaker 1: think that it was a tough start for the girls
- 10:46Speaker 1: to get into it.
- 10:47Speaker 3: The new New York.
- 10:48Speaker 1: The new New York girls. But they totally got into it.
- 10:50Speaker 1: They had the full support of the network, of Bravo,
- 10:53Speaker 1: of NBC. They pulled out all the stops for them.
- 10:57Speaker 1: They got them all the interviews. They put them on
- 10:58Speaker 1: all the talk shows. They put them on the red carpet.
- 11:00Speaker 1: They forced them to succeed. Whether they should or they shouldn't,
- 11:03Speaker 1: they did. And it worked. And I think people like them.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I like them.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And I think that the show is going to succeed,
- 11:10Speaker 1: even though it had a rough start. The last thing
- 11:13Speaker 1: I think the network wants to do is to go backwards.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And if they put the original cast back on air
- 11:19Speaker 1: and promote them and put them on the talk shows
- 11:20Speaker 1: and all that stuff, it's kind of like against what
- 11:22Speaker 1: they just did, which was clean house and start fresh.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But they were there as a backup plan. Also, the
- 11:28Speaker 1: Morocco trip ended up becoming a hole in the schedule
- 11:31Speaker 1: because they didn't know what to do. So they needed
- 11:33Speaker 1: to plug that hole.
- 11:34Speaker 3: So.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I think they put the show on in mid-December, which
- 11:37Speaker 1: is the worst time of year to launch a show.
- 11:40Speaker 1: For anyone in the inside industry knows that everything shuts
- 11:43Speaker 1: down in Hollywood as far as talk shows at the
- 11:46Speaker 1: beginning of December. Right, because they're all on holiday break.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Fair enough. So when you put a show, announce a
- 11:52Speaker 1: show is going to start whatever it was, December 15th,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and the girls say, well, why aren't we on Kelly Clarkson? Oh,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you would have been, but Kelly's closed. You would have been,
- 12:01Speaker 1: but so-and-so's closed. You would have been- But so-and-so is close,
- 12:04Speaker 1: so they have a fair answer. And they didn't really
- 12:07Speaker 1: promote it. They just didn't. I mean, I didn't see
- 12:10Speaker 1: it promoted anyway. I didn't see the girls being– why
- 12:13Speaker 1: weren't they on the Today Show? Like if they really
- 12:15Speaker 1: wanted to promote the show, the easiest place to put
- 12:17Speaker 1: them is on the Today Show. So I didn't see
- 12:20Speaker 1: the girls promoted anywhere except doing their own. And I
- 12:23Speaker 1: think that was a deliberate– my own opinion. And I
- 12:27Speaker 1: don't think it was a bad idea. I think that
- 12:29Speaker 1: if you want the girls on New York to succeed
- 12:31Speaker 1: the new ones, you can't keep bringing back the old ones.
- 12:33Speaker 1: It's confusing to the audience. And if you ask me,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I would say under other circumstances, they would have another
- 12:39Speaker 1: season of The Legacy because I think it was probably
- 12:42Speaker 1: a great show. I think they won't do it if
- 12:44Speaker 1: they want to continue with this new cast. I think
- 12:46Speaker 1: that it would be against, like you can't, you know,
- 12:49Speaker 1: pick your lane.
- 12:49Speaker 3: That's my opinion.
- 12:50Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 12:51Speaker 3: I think you're right. I think there was a chance
- 12:53Speaker 3: of like, oh, maybe we'll bring back a couple of
- 12:57Speaker 3: them to mix in. And I know at BravoCon, I
- 13:02Speaker 3: can't remember if someone said this, but they noticed it
- 13:04Speaker 3: and I realized it too, that the biggest hype and
- 13:10Speaker 3: the most people coming for meet and greets and all
- 13:13Speaker 3: that was with the new New York girls. There you go.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Because these fans probably have gone to previous BravoCons too. Yes.
- 13:20Speaker 3: And they probably have their photos with all those people. Well,
- 13:22Speaker 3: the new shiny object. Absolutely.
- 13:24Speaker 1: And the girls are beautiful and they are. I think
- 13:26Speaker 1: that they're today. I think the girls that they cast
- 13:29Speaker 1: are today. Like, I remember being on the show in
- 13:31Speaker 1: the beginning. Like, I didn't dress well. I didn't do
- 13:34Speaker 1: makeup well.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I would not be cast today. Now, how old were
- 13:36Speaker 3: you when you got cast? You were, like, 40?
- 13:40Speaker 1: 44. Older than they are, for sure. But also, I wasn't, like,
- 13:43Speaker 1: a fashionista, and there were no influencers back then. It
- 13:45Speaker 1: was just a different day. I don't think I would
- 13:48Speaker 1: get cast today in 2023 if I was 44. It's
- 13:51Speaker 1: not my— I don't think so. I mean, I'm glad the
- 13:54Speaker 1: evolution of the show— is successful because of the start
- 13:57Speaker 1: of where it was and where it is now. But
- 13:58Speaker 1: where it is now is I think the girls are fabulous.
- 14:00Speaker 1: I think they're stylish. I think they've got their own tune.
- 14:04Speaker 1: And I think it takes a minute to get everybody
- 14:07Speaker 1: into it. And I think they're into it. And I
- 14:08Speaker 1: think they want to see more of them. But you
- 14:10Speaker 1: can't keep bringing back the old girls. And promote the
- 14:13Speaker 1: new ones at the same time. I think it's confusing.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And that's what I would think in this private room
- 14:17Speaker 1: in Bravo. They said, we're happy that the girls are working.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Let's just get this show out and be done with it.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You know, like get the ultimate girl trip airing and
- 14:27Speaker 1: go away.
- 14:27Speaker 3: In your theory, though, they were not scheduled to go
- 14:33Speaker 3: at that time. It was supposed to be Morocco 1st.
- 14:35Speaker 1: But not in December. I don't think so.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I don't know. But it was supposed to be Morocco 1st.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Now with the latest lawsuit of Caroline Manzo suing Bravo.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Let's talk about that.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Most people, myself included, I unfortunately don't think we will
- 14:49Speaker 3: ever see the Morocco trip.
- 14:52Speaker 1: There's no footage of this incident.
- 14:55Speaker 3: No, there is footage.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Then why wouldn't they just cut it out and air
- 14:57Speaker 1: the rest of the show? Because now there's a lawsuit.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Now there's a lawsuit. So there's no damages if it
- 15:04Speaker 1: doesn't air, right? What are her damages if it doesn't air?
- 15:07Speaker 3: Her damages are to herself that it happened. Oh, I see. Right, bye-bye. Okay,
- 15:11Speaker 3: all right.
- 15:11Speaker 2: If it happened.
- 15:12Speaker 3: My thought is she never, Caroline does not want this
- 15:15Speaker 3: to air. Any of it. Not necessarily just this part,
- 15:17Speaker 3: but maybe something that she talked about earlier on during
- 15:22Speaker 3: the vacation. She just doesn't want it out there. And
- 15:26Speaker 3: this is kind of the easiest way to do it,
- 15:28Speaker 3: to just be like, all right, here's your money. Because otherwise,
- 15:31Speaker 3: then we're going to get into, you're going to be disposed,
- 15:34Speaker 3: you know, all the housewives are going to have depositions.
- 15:36Speaker 1: You think they're going to settle with her?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 15:37Speaker 1: You think they're going to give her the money?
- 15:39Speaker 3: Versus like, I don't know what she's asking for though.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I don't know either. Number one based on volume sales data.
- 15:59Speaker 1: To verify, contact info.ireland.bayer.com.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 16:06Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 16:09Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 16:13Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 16:21Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 16:22Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 16:24Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 16:27Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 16:30Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 16:32Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 16:34Speaker 2: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 16:36Speaker 2: started crying.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 16:42Speaker 4: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 16:44Speaker 4: happens next.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it shakes.
- 16:54Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 17:09Speaker 1: But this, let me tell you something that's interesting that
- 17:10Speaker 1: I found out from a lawyer that I did not know.
- 17:13Speaker 1: The law changed in 2022 or 2023. Where most contracts
- 17:19Speaker 1: with reality stars or whatever, it says arbitration. All of
- 17:23Speaker 1: them do.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Not most.
- 17:24Speaker 3: All of them.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Arbitration clause. And arbitration is private. So if I have
- 17:29Speaker 1: a complaint.
- 17:30Speaker 3: We try to figure it out.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It's arbitration. And I can't talk about it because it
- 17:33Speaker 1: says in my contract it's confidential. I don't know the wording,
- 17:36Speaker 1: but it's a confidential arbitration.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:39Speaker 1: In 2022, the law changed and there's an exclusion that
- 17:41Speaker 1: you can't waive, that that doesn't waive. which is sexual... Assault.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Assault.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Anything criminal. So anything criminal now cannot be hidden under arbitration.
- 17:50Speaker 1: And what happens is all the evidence that comes out
- 17:54Speaker 1: during a public thing can be used in other places.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So the networks definitely don't want to go to trial
- 18:00Speaker 1: with any of these because then all the evidence... Because
- 18:02Speaker 1: when you have an arbitration, any evidence that comes in
- 18:06Speaker 1: is all private. You can't use it anywhere else.
- 18:09Speaker 3: It's all.
- 18:09Speaker 1: What's the word? You know, it's all hidden.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Now you can't hide this thing. And I think that's
- 18:14Speaker 1: what the networks are suffering now. All these things that
- 18:16Speaker 1: were hidden. You know, like when they had the whole
- 18:19Speaker 1: thing with the sexual things with the network executives on Fox.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I forgot who it was. And all that was, you know,
- 18:24Speaker 1: over years and years secret until it wasn't. You know
- 18:27Speaker 1: what I mean? So these things have happened over the
- 18:29Speaker 1: years for sure. We just don't know about it. But
- 18:31Speaker 1: when it's sexual assault now, now they have to talk.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Now it's public. And that's the power that the stars have.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And look what happened on my ultimate girls trip, the butler.
- 18:41Speaker 1: is also suing the network because he felt— Oh, and I.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Just realized, and Brandi's involved in that, too.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel so bad. I really do feel bad
- 18:49Speaker 1: for her because, honestly, she was a character, like I'm
- 18:52Speaker 1: a character, and they know who she is, and they
- 18:55Speaker 1: cast her.
- 18:55Speaker 3: So wait, that was your— so let's talk about that. So
- 18:57Speaker 3: the Dorinda show, I was on that. You all stayed
- 19:00Speaker 3: at Dorinda's, and you were there. Yes, I was. And
- 19:03Speaker 3: what that guy is suing for is that You had
- 19:06Speaker 3: a party outside at night.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, a party outside. And Brandy ripped on the show.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It said, you know, ripped his shirt off or tore
- 19:13Speaker 1: his shirt. And we were all having a good time.
- 19:15Speaker 1: The way I remember it, I had a great time.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I remember him having a great time. I'm not in
- 19:20Speaker 1: his body. I don't know what he felt. You know
- 19:22Speaker 1: what I mean? So I can't speak for him. But
- 19:24Speaker 1: from what I witnessed— Producers were there. Everybody was there.
- 19:31Speaker 1: And I didn't see any aftermath after. And I think,
- 19:34Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. I don't know what's going on.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I don't have the inside scoop. But I do feel
- 19:37Speaker 1: bad for Brandy because I think that she was cast.
- 19:40Speaker 1: They know who she is. They bring it on. The
- 19:42Speaker 1: producers definitely talk to her. She doesn't do things without
- 19:45Speaker 1: telling them. You know, that you know you've been on
- 19:47Speaker 1: shows there's a collaboration there's no there's usually no surprises
- 19:50Speaker 1: and also if you're not doing something right a producer
- 19:51Speaker 1: will call you out and pull you out of a
- 19:53Speaker 1: scene you know pull you out and and try to
- 19:55Speaker 1: break it whatever it is so um i think she's
- 19:58Speaker 1: kind of you know hanging out there and it's not
- 20:00Speaker 1: right it's just not that's how i feel as a
- 20:01Speaker 1: sister wife you know i do i feel her pain.
- 20:04Speaker 3: And what is your advice to brandy then What's your
- 20:09Speaker 3: advice to Brandi right now with this Caroline Manzo lawsuit,
- 20:13Speaker 3: though she's not named in it?
- 20:16Speaker 1: So these are your two choices.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Basically, she feels that she'll never work again. Her reputation
- 20:20Speaker 3: is ruined.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You know, there's two things, shut up or fight back.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I said to Carlos when we talked about it, I said,
- 20:27Speaker 3: you know— That would be the thing that would maybe you,
- 20:31Speaker 3: you know, go into a program, prove that you really
- 20:34Speaker 3: are giving up drinking. You've really given up for 30 days,
- 20:38Speaker 3: 60 days. You're sober. That's your life. Because unlike a
- 20:41Speaker 3: lot of housewives, Brandy is funny and witty sober. Oh, she's...
- 20:48Speaker 3: But she does enjoy her cocktails. Even more fun, actually.
- 20:50Speaker 1: She's actually more fun.
- 20:50Speaker 3: But she does enjoy her cocktails. So I don't know
- 20:53Speaker 3: if she's there yet. I don't know if that's something
- 20:55Speaker 3: that she wants to do, if she... Feels the need
- 20:58Speaker 3: to do. But I think that would maybe help get
- 21:01Speaker 3: her on some other things. But I still think Bravo
- 21:03Speaker 3: would be really gun-shy. But I say Bravo is never
- 21:07Speaker 3: say never.
- 21:08Speaker 1: No, they put her on that show.
- 21:09Speaker 3: They brought her back.
- 21:10Speaker 1: They brought her back right after the Ultimate Girls trip
- 21:13Speaker 1: on Traders.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So they right away put her back on TV. Well,
- 21:17Speaker 1: I don't know if any of the other stuff had
- 21:18Speaker 1: come up yet.
- 21:20Speaker 3: So what is your advice then to her?
- 21:22Speaker 1: You know, you got to stick up for yourself.
- 21:26Speaker 3: I think she's trying to do that.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Now she is. She was quiet for a long time
- 21:29Speaker 1: because I think she was hoping if she kept quiet
- 21:31Speaker 1: that the network would protect her, help her. And I
- 21:33Speaker 1: think she's realizing that no one's helping her and that
- 21:36Speaker 1: she's out there by herself and that she's going to
- 21:37Speaker 1: have to just defend herself.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You know?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I know that the girls have backed her. I know
- 21:43Speaker 1: that the girls on the trip who she's friends with,
- 21:46Speaker 1: Gretchen and Phaedra, they've all backed her story, whatever that
- 21:49Speaker 1: story is. I know because I've spoken to some. They
- 21:51Speaker 1: said that they totally support Brandy and they were there
- 21:54Speaker 1: and Witnesses.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Meaning that– With that whole thing with Caroline. It was
- 21:58Speaker 3: like not– they have a different point of view than Caroline's.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Point of view. They're defending her. Yeah. From what I
- 22:05Speaker 1: was told. But listen, I wasn't there. I can't see it.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 1: It's a mess.
- 22:12Speaker 3: You know what?
- 22:12Speaker 1: It affects the whole franchise and I think it affects
- 22:15Speaker 1: being on reality shows and I don't think that– I
- 22:17Speaker 1: think that the limits have changed and they're going to
- 22:21Speaker 1: change going forward and it's kind of going to ruin
- 22:22Speaker 1: what people love about the show.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:25Speaker 1: You know?
- 22:26Speaker 3: What do you think about Leah? Leah? Leah from New York.
- 22:33Speaker 1: What happened with her? She's suing also?
- 22:35Speaker 3: She's suing also. Her lawsuit is under the American Disabilities Act.
- 22:45Speaker 1: What was a disability?
- 22:47Speaker 3: I think she said she's bipolar.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I don't know. Is that a disability?
- 22:51Speaker 3: I mean, I guess. I don't know what's going on
- 22:53Speaker 3: with it. She's another one that I think... I kind
- 22:57Speaker 3: of realized, you know, I'm done with it and I'm
- 23:02Speaker 3: not going back. She now went to OnlyFans and she said,
- 23:05Speaker 3: I made more on OnlyFans than I did. Yeah, she's
- 23:08Speaker 3: on OnlyFans.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 23:09Speaker 3: No.
- 23:09Speaker 1: And she has a daughter? Oh, my God.
- 23:11Speaker 3: A lot of OnlyFans people have kids.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I guess so. I'll do my feet. I would do feet.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I'm going to do OnlyFans feet. I'm just teasing.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Your sister's doing it.
- 23:20Speaker 1: My sister's doing it.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Listen, I'm not judging anybody. I think that Leah would
- 23:26Speaker 1: not have done that if they had taken her back.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I think she was very upset that they did not
- 23:29Speaker 1: take her back. I know that she made a campaign
- 23:31Speaker 1: to come back, and they didn't.
- 23:33Speaker 3: To come back and join the Young Group. Absolutely.
- 23:36Speaker 1: And I think that if they had taken her back,
- 23:37Speaker 1: there wouldn't be a lawsuit.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I wonder if part of it was not necessarily about her,
- 23:43Speaker 3: but being that if they brought her back for the
- 23:47Speaker 3: Young Group, then she would be the only returning person
- 23:52Speaker 3: And would that be putting too much on her as
- 23:55Speaker 3: like a star?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Well, they didn't do it for whatever reason.
- 23:59Speaker 3: I don't really think it was about her. I think
- 24:01Speaker 3: it was like, listen, you were fine. You weren't the
- 24:04Speaker 3: greatest housewife. You weren't, you know, a Jill Zarin.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I think even if she was the greatest housewife, it
- 24:09Speaker 1: didn't matter. They wanted a fresh star.
- 24:11Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 24:11Speaker 1: It didn't matter. She could have been the biggest and
- 24:13Speaker 1: the best and the funniest. I just think that she
- 24:16Speaker 1: did this because sour grapes.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I don't think she would have done it if she
- 24:19Speaker 3: had gotten back.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But I kind of feel like it.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Was just timing. Like, I just don't think. But I
- 24:23Speaker 3: don't think she fit the mold either. Like, she wasn't married.
- 24:27Speaker 3: She wasn't rich. It was fun when she was, you know,
- 24:31Speaker 3: it was crazy when she was wasted. Then we want
- 24:35Speaker 3: them to get sober. They get sober. Then she goes
- 24:37Speaker 3: on a, you know, converting to Judaism. And people didn't
- 24:41Speaker 3: find that interesting. Sorry.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Well, can we go back to the OnlyFans? What is
- 24:45Speaker 1: she doing on OnlyFans? Is she, like, just... I think it's.
- 24:48Speaker 3: The normal, like, nude and then corresponding with the people thing.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Like that's how you make the money, I guess, is
- 24:54Speaker 3: like you'll start to correspond with someone and, you know, say, oh,
- 24:58Speaker 3: for $ 500 or whatever, for $ 100 I'll do this, whatever.
- 25:02Speaker 1: I have a little FOMO.
- 25:05Speaker 3: I mean, the truth is I think she does need
- 25:07Speaker 3: an income. Absolutely.
- 25:08Speaker 1: No shame in that game. She's a mom.
- 25:10Speaker 2: She has a supportive family.
- 25:11Speaker 3: So I think she's kind of like, whatever. She kind
- 25:13Speaker 3: of said, I feel more respected being in charge of
- 25:17Speaker 3: my own business. thing than me running around naked, drunk
- 25:21Speaker 3: on a reality show.
- 25:22Speaker 1: They're going to have a Housewives channel soon on OnlyFans.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Right?
- 25:26Speaker 1: There's quite a few. Denise Richards has one. I don't
- 25:28Speaker 1: know who else does.
- 25:29Speaker 3: What's your advice to Denise Richards being that she went
- 25:32Speaker 3: on Beverly Hills, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and arrived
- 25:37Speaker 3: pretty intoxicated?
- 25:38Speaker 1: I didn't watch the episode.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Oh, well, she got very intoxicated and then she got
- 25:43Speaker 3: very upset with Erica Jane. About what? It was so lame.
- 25:51Speaker 3: It was literally like, I don't think she really had
- 25:54Speaker 3: anything to talk about.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So she picked a fight.
- 25:57Speaker 3: So she picked a fight from four years ago when
- 25:59Speaker 3: they were having a dinner party and Erica Jane was like,
- 26:02Speaker 3: who hasn't had a threesome? I've had a threesome. And then,
- 26:05Speaker 3: you know, Denise was like, my kids are here.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And then now all of a sudden she's approved, but
- 26:10Speaker 1: she's got an OnlyFans account.
- 26:11Speaker 3: No, but one of those kids.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Has an OnlyFans account. Yeah, that's a little bit too much.
- 26:15Speaker 3: I mean, do you really think that Erika Jayne is
- 26:17Speaker 3: not going to bring that up? So then Erika Jayne goes,
- 26:22Speaker 3: let me ask you something. Who's more profitable on OnlyFans,
- 26:25Speaker 3: you or Sammy? What'd she say? You're disgusting. You're disgusting.
- 26:30Speaker 1: She didn't answer the question?
- 26:31Speaker 3: No, she goes, you're disgusting. You're awful. And then Erika
- 26:33Speaker 3: Jayne's like, really? You think you're going to come at
- 26:36Speaker 3: me and I'm just going to sit here? Like, who
- 26:38Speaker 3: do you think you're dealing with? She came off pretty well, Erica.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I think from what I've seen, Erica's doing great. I mean,
- 26:44Speaker 1: that's a girl who really came from all the way
- 26:46Speaker 1: down and had to crawl her way back up. And
- 26:49Speaker 1: she did an amazing job.
- 26:50Speaker 3: She did. Yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Whether you like her or you don't like her, she
- 26:53Speaker 1: did redeem herself, I think, in a lot of eyes.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Yes.
- 26:57Speaker 3: And then I guess there's some, you know, she went
- 27:00Speaker 3: and met the victims and all that. And yeah, I think, look,
- 27:05Speaker 3: She's not walking away with any money from being married
- 27:08Speaker 3: for 20 years either.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 27:09Speaker 3: I mean, unless she– but I do kind of wonder, like,
- 27:12Speaker 3: where is that $ 2 million Chagall painting?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Oh, is there a missing painting?
- 27:19Speaker 3: I don't know if it's missing.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 27:21Speaker 3: But, like, if shit was going down with your husband.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 3: And there's jewelry and stuff. Wouldn't you be grabbing it
- 27:30Speaker 3: and putting it, like, in your mother's safe and stuff? Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 3: I would.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I mean, that's the truth. Of course I would.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, you know you're not going to keep–
- 27:36Speaker 3: you know you're not going to get any real estate
- 27:38Speaker 3: out of it. Yeah. So what– and then part of
- 27:41Speaker 3: that was the earrings.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But, you know, you've got to know me. Like, if
- 27:43Speaker 1: this happened to me, which it never would, I would
- 27:45Speaker 1: have given all my Birkin bags and everything to the victims.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I mean, that's me.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Well, yeah.
- 27:49Speaker 1: So I can't even relate to that, but I'm saying
- 27:51Speaker 1: that I could see that for sure, you know, that mindset.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Well, I interviewed– Nadine, who's now a psychologist. But she
- 28:00Speaker 3: was married to the.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Real Wolf of Wall Street.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I know who she is.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 28:03Speaker 3: And she said, yeah, when it happened, she was like,
- 28:05Speaker 3: here's everything. Take everything.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a different personality.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Because, yeah, also I don't want to get in trouble
- 28:11Speaker 3: and I'll make my own money and I'll move on myself.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 3: But I don't know that she didn't do that either.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 28:19Speaker 1: No, we don't know.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I don't know. But she still does seem to have
- 28:23Speaker 3: a lot of clothes and shoes and stuff.
- 28:26Speaker 1: But that And hair and makeup, but I think that
- 28:28Speaker 1: she's grown.
- 28:29Speaker 3: But the reason the earrings, so the whole thing with
- 28:31Speaker 3: these $ 750, 000 earrings, it's a very confusing thing. But they
- 28:38Speaker 3: said those were bought with money that was meant for
- 28:43Speaker 3: the victims in the escrow account.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 28:45Speaker 3: And so they took the earrings back. But then I
- 28:49Speaker 3: guess her people tried to say- They appealed, right? They appealed,
- 28:53Speaker 3: and then they were like, well, those particular- victims are
- 28:59Speaker 3: not coming forward and saying, like the trust is saying
- 29:03Speaker 3: that should be ours because it was taken. But the
- 29:07Speaker 3: victims of that particular case, crime, they're not demanding that the,
- 29:12Speaker 3: like they don't have the evidence that the earrings were
- 29:14Speaker 3: taken out of their account. So therefore they're like, they
- 29:18Speaker 3: came back. Yeah. Therefore, like that's, that's what she won.
- 29:22Speaker 1: She did.
- 29:23Speaker 3: So she did win that because those people are not,
- 29:27Speaker 3: fighting it or they're not present. And so they can't
- 29:30Speaker 3: just keep.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Going to the trust.
- 29:31Speaker 1: We all have to face our maker one day.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 1: You know, we all have to face our maker one day.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Heather, may I say you have beautiful earrings on today?
- 29:37Speaker 3: Thank you. Thank you. I wear, I wear these earrings
- 29:41Speaker 3: like a.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Where can we get those?
- 29:43Speaker 3: Like a badge of honor. Like I went through war.
- 29:45Speaker 3: I was horribly betrayed. I was told these earrings were $ 10, 000.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Jill has.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Earrings like that.
- 29:55Speaker 3: And they're not. They're $ 42 on Revolve. So I got
- 29:58Speaker 3: them and I wear them because I liked them when
- 30:00Speaker 3: I borrowed them and I always liked them.
- 30:02Speaker 1: They look good on you.
- 30:03Speaker 3: I always liked them.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You'd wear them, Rachel.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Hey, by the way, I'm going to switch subjects for
- 30:08Speaker 1: a second. How are those rugs doing in Palm Springs?
- 30:11Speaker 1: Palm Desert?
- 30:12Speaker 3: I love the rugs. I have a rug, two of
- 30:15Speaker 3: the rugs. One is... One in my guest room, my casita,
- 30:20Speaker 3: and then one in the room where I sometimes do
- 30:23Speaker 3: the office, but there's also beds there. And they're great. Well,
- 30:28Speaker 3: we haven't had any stains to pick up. I know.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm kind of disappointed. Can someone please spill some wine?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Do you know Gary did a video?
- 30:33Speaker 2: It could be urine, anything.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I saw the video of the red wine.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Did you see Gary spit the red wine all over,
- 30:37Speaker 1: and it came all up. So they are totally stain-proof.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Would an egg come out?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Okay, Gary cracked an egg on my head.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I saw that.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That's terrible, Gary.
- 30:45Speaker 2: How could you do that? I got 99% positive comments.
- 30:48Speaker 1: No, you didn't.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You make up the number.
- 30:50Speaker 3: That's not true. It was so funny. She's like doing
- 30:53Speaker 3: her makeup or something. And then he's like, do you
- 30:55Speaker 3: want eggs? And she's like, yes, I do. And then
- 30:57Speaker 3: he just cracked it. It was supposed to go in
- 30:59Speaker 3: a bowl.
- 31:00Speaker 2: And I thought that was so funny.
- 31:01Speaker 1: But he got it in my hair.
- 31:03Speaker 2: No. So it was staged.
- 31:05Speaker 3: It was staged.
- 31:05Speaker 2: But she didn't know. No, sure she did. Liz tested
- 31:09Speaker 2: it on me first to make sure it didn't hurt.
- 31:12Speaker 1: How could you believe anything that comes out of his mouth?
- 31:14Speaker 2: It's a TikTok trend. Parents cracking eggs in the kitchen
- 31:17Speaker 2: on their children's heads.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Which people thought was horrible.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Was horrible.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So why would you do that to me?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Because when Liz cracked the egg on my head, it was.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Who is Liz?
- 31:27Speaker 1: My assistant.
- 31:27Speaker 2: It was such a satisfying sensation for her and for myself.
- 31:32Speaker 2: It's such a mental case. And until you do it,
- 31:34Speaker 2: it's like ASMR. When you have an egg crack.
- 31:36Speaker 3: That's like that sound where people go like.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Oh.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 2: How do you know what that is? Because everyone knows
- 31:43Speaker 2: what that is.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Everyone knows what that is.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Where do I live in Iraq? You
- 31:45Speaker 2: have to read up. We went to college.
- 31:48Speaker 1: So anyway, so it was fantastic. I have something else
- 31:49Speaker 1: I want to tell you that's very cool.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Sorry, it was fantastic.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Have you heard about, you know what artificial intelligence is, right?
- 31:55Speaker 1: So there's a company called Delphi.
- 31:56Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 31:57Speaker 1: No, no, no. It's obviously AI. So there's a company
- 31:59Speaker 1: called Delphi, whatever. Yeah. They did an AI Jill Zarin.
- 32:04Speaker 1: And I gave them my book and they scanned the
- 32:06Speaker 1: whole thing in. So I can show it to you.
- 32:08Speaker 1: You can talk to me. You can speak and I
- 32:10Speaker 1: can speak back. Like you could be like, what's your
- 32:12Speaker 1: advice for dating? And it pulls all these things that
- 32:15Speaker 1: I've said over the last 20 years on the Internet,
- 32:17Speaker 1: written my book. It actually gives better advice than I
- 32:20Speaker 1: would now because it pulls things that I forgot I said.
- 32:22Speaker 3: But wait a minute. That doesn't make you nervous? You
- 32:25Speaker 3: don't own it or they own it? No, no.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I own it. I own my IP.
- 32:28Speaker 2: It's a terrible idea. I talked to the AI Jill Zarin. What?
- 32:33Speaker 2: Jill Zarin does not like you.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Shut up, Gary.
- 32:37Speaker 2: I said, what do you think of Jill Zarin? Shut up.
- 32:38Speaker 3: She went, mm.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I can't get out of here.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Next question.
- 32:42Speaker 1: You're so crazy.
- 32:42Speaker 3: It's very cool. I had somebody look up, like did it,
- 32:45Speaker 3: and asked it a question, what I would say, just
- 32:48Speaker 3: written out, not my voice. And it wasn't, It was
- 32:52Speaker 3: not at my level at all.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Mine was pretty good.
- 32:54Speaker 3: But what's scary about the AI is that it does
- 32:57Speaker 3: get more intelligent.
- 32:58Speaker 2: It does. It learns.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Like even the Tesla. So Peter will put the Tesla
- 33:02Speaker 3: on self-driving.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 33:04Speaker 3: And it improved.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 33:06Speaker 3: It totally improved. It got smarter and smarter. It used
- 33:08Speaker 3: to be a little jerky.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:10Speaker 3: And now it's not.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 33:12Speaker 1: So do you want to hear it? Should I hear it?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Do you want to do it?
- 33:16Speaker 3: Wait, it has the voice and everything?
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see it. Okay, so you ask me a question.
- 33:20Speaker 3: All right, I'm going to put it on.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Hold on, I've got to get it on. Sign in
- 33:22Speaker 1: with Google.
- 33:22Speaker 3: I'll do a real easy one.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Connecting.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Okay. Jill, what is a great gift for my mother-in-law?
- 33:31Speaker 3: It's thinking.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Thinking. Finding the perfect gift for your mother-in-law can be
- 33:40Speaker 1: quite the task, but it's all about thoughtfulness. A beautiful
- 33:43Speaker 1: scented device like Pura, which diffuses lovely fragrances throughout the home,
- 33:48Speaker 1: could create a serene environment she'll adore. It's both practical
- 33:52Speaker 1: and indulgent. And with the right scent, it can make
- 33:55Speaker 1: her think of you fondly every time she uses it.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It's not really a good one.
- 33:59Speaker 3: It's not that great. And also, hey, dummy, what about
- 34:02Speaker 3: Jill and Ally candles?
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, dummy.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Wow, wow.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Jill and Ali have their own line of candles.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you dummy. I got to talk to you.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I got to talk to you. You don't like her either.
- 34:14Speaker 1: She has a little bit of a British twang, but
- 34:16Speaker 1: it will get smarter.
- 34:17Speaker 3: It's a little fast and sharp. But it's pretty good.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I mean, it's infancy. But imagine that.
- 34:24Speaker 3: How much does that cost?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Well, nothing. I mean, they're doing it for celebrities and whatever.
- 34:28Speaker 1: They want to load it and then they want to.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I don't know how they want to. I think they
- 34:31Speaker 1: want to eventually monetize it by saying, well, people, if
- 34:34Speaker 1: they can't get to you, they can ask your AI
- 34:36Speaker 1: and for $ 5 you can ask Jill anything. And honestly, right?
- 34:39Speaker 1: And honestly, the answer is probably better than I would
- 34:41Speaker 1: say live because it gives me things that I forgot
- 34:43Speaker 1: that I've said years ago, which is kind of, But
- 34:46Speaker 1: I think of it as when I'm gone off this planet,
- 34:49Speaker 1: my great-great-grandchildren will be able to ask me questions, and
- 34:52Speaker 1: it'll be a lot smarter, and it'll be really my voice.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And they'll say, why did she have a British accent?
- 34:56Speaker 3: Well, my great-great-grandchildren can just listen to the thousand episodes
- 35:00Speaker 3: of Juicy Screw. And they can also watch you on TV.
- 35:03Speaker 2: They could subscribe.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Why wouldn't they just be watching you, the thousand hours
- 35:07Speaker 3: of you've been on Real Housewives and other shows? Why
- 35:10Speaker 3: do they have to go ask this dumb little thing?
- 35:13Speaker 1: That's actually not a bad point. But by the way,
- 35:15Speaker 1: I listen to you on AM. I'm in the kitchen
- 35:17Speaker 1: and I'll go, hey, Alexa, play Juicy Scoop with Heather
- 35:21Speaker 1: McDonald and latest episode. And then I'll say, latest episode,
- 35:24Speaker 1: season one, episode 794. I'm like, I think we need
- 35:30Speaker 1: a season two.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I've never taken a break, so I never
- 35:33Speaker 3: made seasons.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I know. Isn't that crazy, though? I can tell you
- 35:35Speaker 1: how many episodes exactly on Alexa.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I love it. Okay, let's move on to other advice.
- 35:41Speaker 3: What is your... Are you watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
- 35:46Speaker 3: You're not.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I'm not. I really need to watch it.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 35:49Speaker 3: What about, you know what's going on with Real Housewives
- 35:52Speaker 3: of Salt Lake City?
- 35:53Speaker 1: It was the best episode of television on reality TV
- 35:56Speaker 1: that I have ever witnessed.
- 35:57Speaker 3: In my life. When Heather served her?
- 35:58Speaker 1: I woke up at four in the morning. I woke
- 36:00Speaker 1: up to go to the bathroom. I see my phone
- 36:02Speaker 1: blowing up about this episode. I literally turned the TV
- 36:05Speaker 1: on at four in the morning to watch it. I
- 36:07Speaker 1: called everybody to turn that show on to watch it.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Not at four in the morning, but like when I
- 36:11Speaker 1: got up.
- 36:13Speaker 3: The Heather Gay performance.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Oh my God. She was unbelievable and how she's just
- 36:17Speaker 1: so quick. You know, Heather's gotten better.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Well, we all get better, right? But she's gotten so good.
- 36:22Speaker 3: I mean, she, like, we're friends and she's, you know, this,
- 36:26Speaker 3: this has been a huge growth for her. Not only
- 36:28Speaker 3: has she, you know, become famous, written a book, been
- 36:30Speaker 3: on TV, but now she's, you know, further from her divorce.
- 36:35Speaker 3: She's left the church and she's a different housewife than
- 36:39Speaker 3: she was when she started. Season one or two when
- 36:42Speaker 3: she was you know, not as comfortable. Now she's better looking.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I mean, she's got more businesses going.
- 36:49Speaker 1: But do you think she's still grounded? Like, I always
- 36:51Speaker 1: said to my... I think for myself, maybe I'm wrong,
- 36:53Speaker 1: but I think I've always still been grounded. Like, I'm always...
- 36:55Speaker 1: I'm still me. Season one. I mean, I'm still the
- 36:58Speaker 1: same person. Has she changed?
- 37:00Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I ran into her. We've
- 37:04Speaker 3: talked a little bit. I really like her. And I
- 37:06Speaker 3: think so... She should change. Like, you become that famous...
- 37:12Speaker 3: And you have this amazing moment on TV that's iconic forever. Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 3: you shouldn't be expected to be the exact same person. Hopefully,
- 37:22Speaker 3: you'll always be gracious and nice. I've never heard that
- 37:25Speaker 3: she's rude to people at restaurants or anything.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Like some of the housewives I know.
- 37:29Speaker 3: I mean, I think she's still a really nice, caring person.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she was great.
- 37:33Speaker 3: But let her enjoy it. Let her enjoy that she
- 37:37Speaker 3: had this amazing life.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Moment situation.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Yeah. And if she planned it out a little bit, fine.
- 37:44Speaker 3: She was still passionate in what she was saying.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Oh my God. It was so well spoken and well thought.
- 37:49Speaker 1: It was just, it was just receipt. But you know
- 37:52Speaker 1: what I have to give credit to really give credit
- 37:55Speaker 1: to is the production company because what people don't pay
- 37:58Speaker 1: attention to. And I did was the production value. Um,
- 38:02Speaker 1: They stepped up. This production company was the one who
- 38:04Speaker 1: did New York, stepped up their game so like 25
- 38:07Speaker 1: times from when I remember working with them. Even Ultimate
- 38:10Speaker 1: Girls Trip that I was on two years ago, not
- 38:12Speaker 1: even close to what Salt Lake City had. They had
- 38:15Speaker 1: the music. When she went like this, it was boom
- 38:17Speaker 1: with the microphone, boom with the microphone. If you didn't
- 38:20Speaker 1: have all those sound effects, it would not have been
- 38:22Speaker 1: as impactful.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 1: If you go back and watch and pay attention to
- 38:25Speaker 1: what I just said. When you hear all the sound
- 38:27Speaker 1: effects of everything.
- 38:28Speaker 3: No, it's chills.
- 38:29Speaker 1: And take it out.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Chills. Right.
- 38:30Speaker 1: No, and take it out. It's like, ah, okay. So
- 38:33Speaker 1: I think that they should get an Emmy for the
- 38:36Speaker 1: editing of that episode.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Oh, definitely.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I think the production company should.
- 38:40Speaker 3: I do. Speaking of Morocco, you did go to Morocco, right?
- 38:46Speaker 1: Oh, I went to Morocco season four. I had the
- 38:49Speaker 1: best time.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Did you love it? Have you ever been back since?
- 38:53Speaker 1: I have not been back since. I would go back.
- 38:56Speaker 1: We were invited to a wedding there a couple years ago.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Well, was Morocco the one where you went to the psychic? Oh, yes.
- 39:03Speaker 3: And the psychic said to Ramona, what did the psychic say?
- 39:09Speaker 1: That she's not going to be in this marriage anymore,
- 39:11Speaker 1: that this marriage is over. No, she said exactly that
- 39:15Speaker 1: your man is thinking of another woman. And Ramona said,
- 39:20Speaker 1: I have to give her credit. She thought quick on
- 39:21Speaker 1: her feet. And she says, of course, he's talking about
- 39:23Speaker 1: our daughter. The psychics that Mario's thinking of our daughter.
- 39:27Speaker 1: And of course, we're all laughing going, no, Mario's not
- 39:29Speaker 1: thinking of you. daughter.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Mario.
- 39:31Speaker 1: And at the time, Mario was with another woman. Now,
- 39:33Speaker 1: now we know that.
- 39:34Speaker 3: But at that time, were you at all suspicious or
- 39:37Speaker 3: do you just think this is like a dumb psychic?
- 39:39Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 39:40Speaker 1: No, I was totally suspicious. Not that he had another woman,
- 39:42Speaker 1: but that their marriage was in trouble.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Just as someone who observed it.
- 39:47Speaker 4: Yes.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Thought it was off.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely. And I think that was part of the
- 39:50Speaker 1: reason why Ramona was so angry and mean. Because she
- 39:54Speaker 1: was very unhappy. And I think the reason why she
- 39:56Speaker 1: and I are in such a good place now is
- 39:57Speaker 1: because she's happy.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Her boyfriend's like a 10 out of 10.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a great guy.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 40:02Speaker 2: That's great.
- 40:03Speaker 3: He's a great guy.
- 40:04Speaker 1: And she's a great girl now.
- 40:06Speaker 2: She'll tell you she's changed.
- 40:07Speaker 1: She's evolved. You know, we all evolve, right?
- 40:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 3: And, yeah, I remember I read her book. The Ramona
- 40:16Speaker 3: roller coaster. Whatever it is.
- 40:17Speaker 1: The Ramona coaster. She wrote about me.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I don't really remember stuff. I just remember the part
- 40:22Speaker 3: I found interesting was about the husband and how, you know,
- 40:28Speaker 3: how she, I mean, who knows? Like, I kind of wonder, like,
- 40:33Speaker 3: would they have broken up had she not been on
- 40:35Speaker 3: the show? And he liked the show and everything, but
- 40:38Speaker 3: then there was times that they would have spent this
- 40:40Speaker 3: time apart.
- 40:41Speaker 1: This is what I do know. I know that Mario
- 40:43Speaker 1: suffered from depression. And sought counsel or whatever, therapy or
- 40:49Speaker 1: whatever he did. I think that was part of the
- 40:51Speaker 1: problem for him. I do think that, and I said this,
- 40:55Speaker 1: by the way, and you can look it up in
- 40:57Speaker 1: a magazine. I said two years ago that Kyle and Mauricio,
- 41:00Speaker 1: I said if they continue to stay on the show,
- 41:02Speaker 1: I'm worried about their marriage. And I got so much
- 41:04Speaker 1: heat for saying that. And, of course, I apologize to
- 41:07Speaker 1: Carl saying I'm not wishing you. I'm not saying he is.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I'm just telling you from my experience with Bobby, after
- 41:12Speaker 1: four seasons, I felt the pressure on the marriage.
- 41:14Speaker 2: It's not good.
- 41:15Speaker 1: They were on the show 13 years.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Now, tell me how you felt the pressure with Bobby.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Because my life was all-consuming about talking about housewives 24
- 41:26Speaker 1: hours a day, including talking to you, talking to the girls,
- 41:29Speaker 1: talking to my mother, my sister. Anybody would listen. Talking
- 41:31Speaker 1: about what happened yesterday, what's happening today, what's going to
- 41:33Speaker 1: happen tomorrow. Are we going to be asked back? Like
- 41:36Speaker 1: whatever it was, we were talking about housewives instead of
- 41:39Speaker 1: talking about what are we doing for dinner? You know,
- 41:41Speaker 1: what trip are we going to do? You know, who
- 41:43Speaker 1: can we help? Just anything other than housewives.
- 41:46Speaker 2: It consumes you.
- 41:47Speaker 3: It does.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It consumes.
- 41:48Speaker 3: And so when did he ever say anything? Did he
- 41:51Speaker 3: ever sit you down or like were you fighting or what.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Was going on? It wasn't on Bobby. I saw it.
- 41:57Speaker 3: I just saw it.
- 41:57Speaker 1: I just saw that he was losing his patience more.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Bobby never lost his patience. I felt that he was
- 42:02Speaker 1: losing his patience a little, his tolerance for it.
- 42:05Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 42:06Speaker 2: I did.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I saw the crack.
- 42:07Speaker 2: And that's when I knew I had to get off.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Suzanne Miller said the show was very.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Bad for you. It was very bad for me.
- 42:11Speaker 2: You know that. One of her best.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Because you know me. And it took me a while
- 42:14Speaker 1: to get unwrapped.
- 42:14Speaker 3: But I knew you as a housewife first.
- 42:17Speaker 1: That's true. But now you know me not.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Well, and that's why in the years, in the last
- 42:22Speaker 3: few years, when there's been possibility, would you come back?
- 42:27Speaker 3: Would Gary be part of it? And you wanted it.
- 42:32Speaker 3: And I was like, no.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I'd rather see her on the Miller Report.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Or on Jersey Square.
- 42:36Speaker 1: You and my parents and my sister, everybody said, and
- 42:39Speaker 1: I wanted.
- 42:39Speaker 3: To come back.
- 42:40Speaker 2: She couldn't resist. She couldn't resist.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Go ahead. I know you went back and forth, but
- 42:45Speaker 3: I remember being at the BravoCon.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Correct.
- 42:47Speaker 3: We went to some, got some food at something.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 42:51Speaker 3: And there was some head of the Bravo lady. Yes.
- 42:55Speaker 3: And you're like, wouldn't you like to see a wedding?
- 43:00Speaker 3: Like with Gary and I.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I don't remember that at all.
- 43:02Speaker 3: I don't remember that.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I know you do, but I don't remember that.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Jill knew it was bad for her.
- 43:05Speaker 3: You were dropping, just dropping a thing. No, she knew
- 43:07Speaker 3: it was. Like if I was to come back on
- 43:08Speaker 3: the show with my kid Mary.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I might have said something like that because nobody likes
- 43:14Speaker 1: to be rejected, right?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So I guess there was a part of me that
- 43:20Speaker 1: wanted them to want me to come back because I
- 43:22Speaker 1: felt rejected.
- 43:23Speaker 3: So, yes.
- 43:24Speaker 1: But I do know that I said I wouldn't come back.
- 43:26Speaker 2: And she did say no.
- 43:28Speaker 1: And I said no. I said no to coming back
- 43:30Speaker 1: as a full time. And you could say, well, if
- 43:32Speaker 1: they paid you the money, you money would have. Would
- 43:34Speaker 1: you have?
- 43:35Speaker 3: Probably.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Knowing it's bad for me, I still would have done it.
- 43:38Speaker 3: But there was times when we would have conversations and
- 43:41Speaker 3: I was like, I just.
- 43:43Speaker 1: And I told you I would do it. And I
- 43:45Speaker 1: told you, Gary. How many times did I tell you
- 43:49Speaker 1: I won't go back on that show?
- 43:51Speaker 3: I know, but there were times that you were considering it.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Of course there were times over the last 10 years
- 43:56Speaker 1: I considered it. But in the last three years, in
- 43:59Speaker 1: the last three years, it was definitely, there's no way
- 44:01Speaker 1: I could ever go back on the show.
- 44:02Speaker 2: You wanted to be asked.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I wanted to be asked so I could say no, sure.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Sure I did.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I wanted to be asked.
- 44:07Speaker 3: But I'm glad you weren't asked. But I was asked.
- 44:10Speaker 1: And I said no.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Wait, you were asked for which thing?
- 44:13Speaker 1: I was asked to come back.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Oh, for Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 44:15Speaker 1: No, not the Ultimate Girls Trip. They wanted to do
- 44:18Speaker 1: a legacy show. Do you remember that?
- 44:20Speaker 3: Oh, that's right.
- 44:20Speaker 1: And I turned it down.
- 44:21Speaker 3: Wait, remind me of that.
- 44:22Speaker 1: And then I got accused. Okay, so they asked me
- 44:24Speaker 1: to come back to do Legacy. And it wasn't Favored Nations.
- 44:27Speaker 3: So they were going to have two New York casts
- 44:29Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Filming for three months starting in February a year ago maybe,
- 44:33Speaker 1: two years ago. And I said it had to be
- 44:36Speaker 1: Favored Nations. They offered me very little money. And I said,
- 44:39Speaker 1: I wouldn't even consider it if it wasn't the same
- 44:41Speaker 1: money for everyone. And they said no. So I said no.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And then somebody, and it wasn't me, put out a
- 44:47Speaker 1: rumor that I was asking for a million dollars an episode,
- 44:49Speaker 1: which is actually ridiculous, right? I mean, seriously, do you
- 44:52Speaker 1: think I asked for that? I mean, stupid. But they
- 44:54Speaker 1: put that out there.
- 44:55Speaker 3: They did.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Because they wanted to like turn it on me. You know,
- 44:58Speaker 1: like they wanted to make me look bad.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Like a fake news thing. Yeah, they did a fake
- 45:01Speaker 3: news thing. You know what?
- 45:02Speaker 1: They did make me look bad because everybody was mad
- 45:04Speaker 1: at me for not coming back.
- 45:05Speaker 2: There was a kernel of truth.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Yes. Like you ruined it for us. Exactly.
- 45:09Speaker 1: They put that out there and I kept my mouth shut.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Like you think you're Jennifer Aniston.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 45:13Speaker 2: But there was a kernel of truth. What? Because Friends
- 45:16Speaker 2: did have a favored nations clause.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 45:19Speaker 2: And Jill wanted that type of clause, but not at
- 45:21Speaker 2: a million.
- 45:21Speaker 3: That's right.
- 45:22Speaker 2: It was like $ 978, 000 an episode.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:25Speaker 1: It was very close. Anyway, my point was everybody else agreed,
- 45:28Speaker 1: including Andy, who said that it was not a nice
- 45:32Speaker 1: amount of money that they offered me and that I
- 45:34Speaker 1: should sit tight.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:35Speaker 1: And I did sit tight. And then I realized I
- 45:39Speaker 1: just can't go back on the show. And I turned
- 45:41Speaker 1: it down flat. And I said I wouldn't go back.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:44Speaker 1: And there was a point in there where I said,
- 45:46Speaker 1: you know, it shouldn't even be like this. It should
- 45:47Speaker 1: be an ultimate girls trip. It should be a week
- 45:49Speaker 1: because we all live in different places. We're in different lives.
- 45:51Speaker 1: How can you film four months? Just pick us up
- 45:53Speaker 1: 15 years later. It doesn't even make sense. And so
- 45:55Speaker 1: they took my advice. But then they wanted to punish
- 45:58Speaker 1: me by not inviting me back on Ultimate Girls Trip.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I wouldn't have done it anyway. But they did not
- 46:03Speaker 1: invite me back on Ultimate Girls Trip because that way
- 46:05Speaker 1: they could say, well, we fired her again. We didn't
- 46:08Speaker 1: invite her back again. They couldn't stand that I said no.
- 46:10Speaker 3: I thought they did invite you to Ultimate Girls Trip too,
- 46:12Speaker 3: but that wasn't going to be favored nations either.
- 46:15Speaker 1: No, that was favored nations, and that was a lot
- 46:17Speaker 1: of money. A lot of money.
- 46:19Speaker 3: I heard $ 250.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Yes, around there.
- 46:22Speaker 2: I remember it differently. I'm not joking around, but I
- 46:24Speaker 2: remember it.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Okay, go ahead. All right.
- 46:27Speaker 2: So someone from Bravo was speaking very honestly with Jill.
- 46:32Speaker 2: And what he said is that there are only so
- 46:36Speaker 2: many tools in the toolkit when it comes to putting
- 46:38Speaker 2: together a cast of New York housewives. And because Jill
- 46:42Speaker 2: was outspoken about something that's true, that's very, that someone
- 46:48Speaker 2: didn't appreciate, they had to choose. Like a group that
- 46:52Speaker 2: stay quiet and are friends or her or her. Yes.
- 46:56Speaker 1: That's what happened.
- 46:58Speaker 2: We were coming back from fire Island and in the
- 47:01Speaker 2: car they talked to him and he was kind of
- 47:02Speaker 2: apologizing saying, listen, I can't do a whole cast of
- 47:06Speaker 2: people who are all friendly and who, and you spoke
- 47:09Speaker 2: out about that issue with that person.
- 47:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I really don't know.
- 47:14Speaker 2: So maybe it's confusing what I'm saying, but very confusing.
- 47:16Speaker 4: All right.
- 47:17Speaker 1: The point is they did invite me back to the party.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I turned it down. Then they didn't invite me back
- 47:22Speaker 1: to the second party and I wouldn't have gone anyway.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And what's happened is, and some people know, some people don't,
- 47:28Speaker 1: but I have a couple of television shows coming right now.
- 47:30Speaker 1: So what can you share about that? So if I
- 47:34Speaker 1: had done that legacy show, it actually would have ruined
- 47:36Speaker 1: everything that I have right now because I would have
- 47:38Speaker 1: been locked into this. You can't do anything without our
- 47:40Speaker 1: permission until the show airs, which would have been like now.
- 47:45Speaker 1: I mean, I would have, I did a show called
- 47:46Speaker 1: The Goat on Amazon. It's airing May 19th. And that's
- 47:51Speaker 1: going to be a very big show for Amazon. They're
- 47:52Speaker 1: putting a lot of guns behind it, a lot of
- 47:54Speaker 1: money behind it, promoting it and everything else. And then
- 47:57Speaker 1: I have another show on a big network, that's all
- 47:59Speaker 1: I can say, a major network that they're casting right
- 48:03Speaker 1: now for, it's going to be like... Failure to Launch.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Failure to Launch, sort of, like sort of. And we'll
- 48:09Speaker 1: be helping, it's Julia Hart and I, and we'll be
- 48:12Speaker 1: helping someone, a boy or a girl, a man or
- 48:13Speaker 1: a woman, every week on the show. So we start
- 48:16Speaker 1: that in March. And then I have two others that
- 48:20Speaker 1: I can't talk about yet. But they're greenlit and they're happening.
- 48:24Speaker 3: See, I always do think things always work out the
- 48:27Speaker 3: way they're.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Supposed to work out. They do.
- 48:29Speaker 2: They always do.
- 48:30Speaker 3: And it's true.
- 48:30Speaker 1: It's like whether– Had I said yes, I would not
- 48:32Speaker 1: have all this.
- 48:34Speaker 3: Like jobs, getting fired, something not being picked up, losing
- 48:39Speaker 3: out on like a real estate thing. I always feel
- 48:41Speaker 3: like it's always– the way it's supposed to be.
- 48:43Speaker 4: It is.
- 48:43Speaker 2: It's much more positive what she's doing.
- 48:45Speaker 1: And everything I do deliberately is a positive. And you'll
- 48:47Speaker 1: be more in control.
- 48:48Speaker 3: There's no control. Right.
- 48:51Speaker 1: Housewives is no control. These are shows that I'm executive
- 48:54Speaker 1: producer on. I mean, these are all things that I've
- 48:56Speaker 1: come up with or come up with someone else and
- 48:58Speaker 1: we pitched and got picked up. But it's not even
- 49:02Speaker 1: about being in control. It's about the messaging on everything
- 49:05Speaker 1: I'm doing is positive messaging for women. Period.
- 49:07Speaker 3: The end.
- 49:08Speaker 1: And I think it's because I was so damaged from
- 49:10Speaker 1: Housewives and how it really had a negative image of women,
- 49:15Speaker 1: the misogyny that goes on at the network, at the
- 49:18Speaker 1: network level, at the production level, just total misogyny. And
- 49:22Speaker 1: I think, you know, looking back historically, it is very
- 49:25Speaker 1: much not for women, you know, pitting women against women
- 49:28Speaker 1: like in a ring. The gladiator? The reunion. It's like gladiators.
- 49:34Speaker 3: It didn't start like that. No. But that's what I
- 49:37Speaker 3: think from the moment that like Tamara threw the wine.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Oh, there's so many moments, right?
- 49:42Speaker 2: Do you think people want that? People ask for it.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Some do. Then they realize that's what's getting the buzz.
- 49:48Speaker 3: But I loved like the first season of OC. Right.
- 49:52Speaker 3: When you just saw their houses and there was some
- 49:55Speaker 3: sad shit that happened in those for I was just
- 49:59Speaker 3: fascinated because it reminded me of like the PBS show
- 50:03Speaker 3: that was like an American family that I never even
- 50:06Speaker 3: knew existed. That was the first like reality show. They
- 50:10Speaker 3: found this family.
- 50:11Speaker 2: That's right.
- 50:12Speaker 3: In Santa Barbara and they followed them and there was
- 50:16Speaker 3: a young man that he came out and he was
- 50:19Speaker 3: gay like with a son which nobody saw that on
- 50:22Speaker 3: TV and it was all real and the dad was
- 50:26Speaker 3: having an affair and And it was like, I remember
- 50:29Speaker 3: my mom talking about it.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it doesn't have to be.
- 50:32Speaker 3: When it can just be like following a family.
- 50:35Speaker 2: I loved the Osbournes.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Listen, Bethany has her, you know.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Let's talk about Bethany.
- 50:40Speaker 1: You could talk about Bethany all day and what she's doing.
- 50:42Speaker 3: How you reconnected and did the show. You were in
- 50:47Speaker 3: okay terms when she contacted you to come on her show. Yeah, listen, I.
- 50:51Speaker 1: My memory is so bad, I can't hold a grudge
- 50:52Speaker 1: because I can't remember. And that's the truth. I let
- 50:55Speaker 1: things go. Maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I'm wrong to do it.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I let things go. I don't want to remember.
- 50:59Speaker 3: I don't live in the past. I think I'm the
- 51:00Speaker 3: opposite of you.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I know, because you have a better memory, so you
- 51:02Speaker 1: can hold on to it. If you don't remember, how
- 51:03Speaker 1: can you hold on to it?
- 51:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:05Speaker 1: So if I go back and rewatch and whatever, but
- 51:07Speaker 1: I try to live in the moment. I think that
- 51:09Speaker 1: Bethany has changed a lot.
- 51:10Speaker 4: I do.
- 51:10Speaker 1: I think she's evolved as a mother. I think being
- 51:12Speaker 1: a mother has really changed. And I think that she's
- 51:15Speaker 1: letting everybody know by her messaging to Bravo that what
- 51:18Speaker 1: she thought was okay 10 years ago, she doesn't think
- 51:21Speaker 1: is okay today. And she's willing to say it.
- 51:24Speaker 2: She's also with a great guy. Her boyfriend is like
- 51:26Speaker 2: a really good guy.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Right, so she has security, right? So she has security
- 51:29Speaker 1: in her life that she's in a really good place
- 51:31Speaker 1: that way that she's nothing to lose. She's never going
- 51:34Speaker 1: back on television or at least on that network. And
- 51:37Speaker 1: so what was my point about Bethany?
- 51:40Speaker 3: Well, do you feel though in her leaving that she
- 51:43Speaker 3: does want to, Not just burn the bridge, but the
- 51:46Speaker 3: whole city down? Because it seems a little like that.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I don't know if it's the intent. I don't think
- 51:52Speaker 1: it could happen. I don't think the intent was to
- 51:54Speaker 1: burn the bridges down. I think the intent is that
- 51:55Speaker 1: she was angry and see things. It's like when she
- 51:59Speaker 1: and I had the conversation about the funeral, and I
- 52:01Speaker 1: don't want to beat a dead horse about this whole
- 52:02Speaker 1: thing going back and forth a million times, but when
- 52:04Speaker 1: the glasses came off and she saw something she didn't
- 52:07Speaker 1: see and I didn't see, and we both saw something
- 52:09Speaker 1: at the same time, which was she was put in
- 52:11Speaker 1: harm's way, not just me. She was put in harm's way.
- 52:15Speaker 3: And in a nutshell, it was that at Gary– not Gary, sorry.
- 52:19Speaker 3: At Bobby's funeral.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Yes. People make that mistake.
- 52:23Speaker 3: At Bobby's– well, just because it was a death. At
- 52:26Speaker 3: Bobby's funeral, she had– she was going.
- 52:32Speaker 1: She shut up.
- 52:32Speaker 3: She was going and– let me say so you didn't
- 52:37Speaker 3: know she was coming so she.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Okay so basically what happened was she in production decided
- 52:42Speaker 1: that she was going to come to the funeral okay
- 52:43Speaker 1: she was led to believe that I knew she was
- 52:45Speaker 1: coming okay she had a mic on and she looked
- 52:47Speaker 1: like literally and she says it herself like Marilyn like
- 52:50Speaker 1: a movie star she did with the hat and the
- 52:52Speaker 1: black and whatever and I remember when I saw her
- 52:54Speaker 1: I'm like boy is she getting dressed up for a
- 52:55Speaker 1: funeral I mean I go to a funeral I don't
- 52:57Speaker 1: put makeup on and I didn't and I look because
- 53:00Speaker 1: I'm sad like it's the last thing I'm thinking about
- 53:02Speaker 1: is what I'm wearing on the outside right it's all
- 53:03Speaker 1: about what's on the inside so I see her And
- 53:06Speaker 1: my first reaction was I was so happy that she came.
- 53:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Like I thought, oh, my God. So when Darren came
- 53:13Speaker 1: over to me and said, Bethany wants to talk to you,
- 53:15Speaker 1: I was like, I look at my sister and I
- 53:18Speaker 1: was with my little posse, Allie. And I'm like, OK.
- 53:20Speaker 1: And so we all walked over. It wasn't just me.
- 53:22Speaker 1: We all walked over. But then I stepped out of
- 53:24Speaker 1: the pack, you know, and I had this conversation with her.
- 53:27Speaker 1: I did not see I saw cameras, but I didn't
- 53:28Speaker 1: see Bravo cameras. I didn't have a mic on. Nobody
- 53:32Speaker 1: told me they were going to be there. And forgetting
- 53:34Speaker 1: about the fact that the network has continued to lie
- 53:37Speaker 1: and say that they have receipts that I gave permission,
- 53:41Speaker 1: they have shown zero receipts, and they have not shown
- 53:45Speaker 1: any release from me. They say they have emails. Let's
- 53:49Speaker 1: see the emails. They say they have– but it doesn't
- 53:51Speaker 1: even matter about emails.
- 53:52Speaker 3: So was she miked then?
- 53:53Speaker 1: She was miked. But this is where she's in harm's way.
- 53:56Speaker 3: They picked you up from her mic.
- 53:57Speaker 1: That is correct. So this is the harm's way that–
- 54:00Speaker 1: so forgetting about my harm's way. She– went red against
- 54:05Speaker 1: the network. I saw it in her face when we
- 54:07Speaker 1: were talking, when she recognized that she was lied to
- 54:11Speaker 1: by the network and told I knew she was coming.
- 54:14Speaker 1: And that because I didn't know, I could have walked out,
- 54:18Speaker 1: seen her and screamed at her to get out and
- 54:22Speaker 1: embarrassed her, humiliate her, whatever you want to call it.
- 54:26Speaker 1: And that's when she freaked out. And she said, oh
- 54:28Speaker 1: my God, They've always had my back. I'm saying this
- 54:33Speaker 1: myself in her head that she's always been protected. Well,
- 54:35Speaker 1: she wasn't protected. She was just put out to slaughter
- 54:38Speaker 1: because I could have slaughtered her. Had I known she
- 54:41Speaker 1: was miked, I would have. If someone said to me,
- 54:44Speaker 1: you know, she brought cameras, I would have said, get
- 54:46Speaker 1: the fuck out of here. But I didn't know she
- 54:49Speaker 1: had cameras. I thought it was authentic.
- 54:53Speaker 3: Well, okay, so when... When Patty called me, Patty Sanger,
- 54:58Speaker 3: to tell me that Bobby had passed. And she's like,
- 55:01Speaker 3: this is the funeral, whatever. This is when it is.
- 55:05Speaker 3: And I said, well, there's no way I can go
- 55:08Speaker 3: because whatever, something with the kids or work, I don't know.
- 55:11Speaker 3: But I knew I couldn't go. And she said, I
- 55:16Speaker 3: really think Bethany should go. I really think it would
- 55:18Speaker 3: be good if Bethany went. Do you have her number?
- 55:21Speaker 3: Do you have a way to contact Bethany? And I said, no,
- 55:25Speaker 3: I haven't been in contact with Bethany for years. But
- 55:28Speaker 3: I did say, I think Bethany's in a hard position.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Because when people are weird about funerals, it's like you
- 55:36Speaker 3: can't win.
- 55:37Speaker 1: If you don't show up, you look like.
- 55:40Speaker 3: You don't care.
- 55:40Speaker 1: If you show up, oh, Bethany, the star, made it
- 55:44Speaker 1: about herself. There was no win for her.
- 55:46Speaker 3: It's really hard. So I was like, hey, whatever, she's
- 55:49Speaker 3: going to know about it. And I'm like, I would
- 55:52Speaker 3: definitely invite her, I said, but I don't think there
- 55:56Speaker 3: should be any extra hurt if she chooses not to
- 55:58Speaker 3: go because of those reasons.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Bethany, sorry, Patty and Darren were definitely talking to Bravo
- 56:05Speaker 1: about doing something for Bobby on the show. No question.
- 56:09Speaker 1: And I don't deny it. And there are emails that
- 56:10Speaker 1: say that. Um, I wasn't involved in any of the emails.
- 56:13Speaker 1: This is post. I wasn't on any email. This is
- 56:16Speaker 1: all between Darren, who's, you know, my best friend who
- 56:19Speaker 1: only wants the best for me and Patty.
- 56:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 56:21Speaker 1: And whoever at the network. Um, The original thing they
- 56:25Speaker 1: talked about was covering the funeral, and that was nixed immediately.
- 56:28Speaker 1: There's no way any cameras are coming to Bobby's funeral.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Inside the temple. Well, inside, outside. Because to me, there
- 56:34Speaker 1: is no outside, right? You get into your car, you go.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:36Speaker 3: But the actual— Yeah.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Absolutely not. And everyone knew that. What I did consider
- 56:43Speaker 1: and was happy to do was to host the girls
- 56:46Speaker 1: at my house after the real shiva was over and
- 56:48Speaker 1: have cameras come and have them come pay their respects—
- 56:51Speaker 1: relive some memories, have the camera go back in time
- 56:54Speaker 1: and replay some funny things. And that's what I wanted.
- 56:57Speaker 1: But you know what happened? The girls found out that
- 56:59Speaker 1: Bethany brought cameras to the funeral. I found this out,
- 57:02Speaker 1: by the way, later. This was much later. But this
- 57:05Speaker 1: is what happened. They were going to do it on Friday.
- 57:08Speaker 1: And then like, and the funeral was Monday. On Tuesday
- 57:11Speaker 1: or Wednesday, I don't remember, one by one, each girl
- 57:13Speaker 1: said they couldn't do Friday. Dorinda said she couldn't do it.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Ramona said she couldn't do it. Luann said she couldn't
- 57:19Speaker 1: do it. Sonia said she couldn't do it. And what
- 57:21Speaker 1: I found out is, is the reason why they said
- 57:23Speaker 1: they wouldn't do it is because they found out Bethany
- 57:25Speaker 1: had cameras there, chose not to tell them. All the
- 57:28Speaker 1: girls were at the funeral without cameras. Ramona came, Dorinda came,
- 57:33Speaker 1: Sonia came, Luann came. None of them told Bravo or
- 57:36Speaker 1: asked Bravo to cover them to make them look good
- 57:39Speaker 1: at the funeral. But they did resent the fact that Bethany,
- 57:41Speaker 1: who hasn't spoken to me in 10 years and had
- 57:43Speaker 1: no relationship with me, brought cameras and didn't include them.
- 57:49Speaker 1: So they were angry at me They thought I had
- 57:52Speaker 1: something to do with the fact that Bethany came and
- 57:54Speaker 1: got airtime, you know, like being the hero and that
- 57:58Speaker 1: they didn't. So they all canceled on me. But I
- 58:00Speaker 1: didn't know at the time why. I just knew one
- 58:02Speaker 1: by one they wouldn't film. And that was it. Bobby
- 58:05Speaker 1: wasn't going to be on. And then I don't really remember.
- 58:07Speaker 1: It was so long ago. We're talking about six years ago.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I don't remember exactly when I found out they filmed it.
- 58:12Speaker 1: But I do remember seeing that commercial for the first time.
- 58:14Speaker 1: I saw a commercial with me and Bethany outside the
- 58:17Speaker 1: funeral and like the hug. And I almost died. And
- 58:20Speaker 1: I didn't know what to do. Do I sue the network?
- 58:22Speaker 1: Do I call them? Do I write a letter? Do
- 58:24Speaker 1: I tell them? Like, what do I do? And at
- 58:26Speaker 1: that time in my life, I thought there might be
- 58:29Speaker 1: a chance I wanted to go back. That was definitely
- 58:32Speaker 1: a time where I thought, would my life be better
- 58:34Speaker 1: and get busy being back on TV? Right. And I
- 58:38Speaker 1: had talked to Luann about it. So I'm like, well,
- 58:40Speaker 1: if I do anything, if I say anything, there's no
- 58:43Speaker 1: chance of me ever coming back. So what did I do?
- 58:46Speaker 1: I said nothing. And I ate it. And I ate it.
- 58:49Speaker 1: And I ate it. And I ate it until one day,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and I don't remember what it was, they were poking
- 58:54Speaker 1: the bear at me.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Yeah, the story came up somehow.
- 58:56Speaker 1: They started poking the bear saying that I invited them,
- 58:58Speaker 1: I knew they were coming, and that was a lie.
- 59:00Speaker 1: And eventually I finally just had to say, okay, guys, enough.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Enough poking the bear. So, that's it.
- 59:08Speaker 3: So, um so when you did the show with um
- 59:12Speaker 3: Bethany yes where so where are you guys now.
- 59:16Speaker 1: We're in a great place I spoke to her two
- 59:19Speaker 1: days ago you know she called me just to check
- 59:21Speaker 1: in um You know, and it is what it is.
- 59:24Speaker 1: You know, I know what's going on in her life,
- 59:27Speaker 1: not on a daily basis, on a, you know, what's
- 59:29Speaker 1: going on globally. She knows what's going on in my
- 59:32Speaker 1: life globally. And I truly think that she's happy for me.
- 59:37Speaker 1: She's proud of me, you know, the way, not that
- 59:40Speaker 1: I need her, what's the word?
- 59:43Speaker 3: Approval.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Approval about anything. But sure, it makes me feel good
- 59:47Speaker 1: when she says, I see what you're doing. Because when
- 59:48Speaker 1: I spoke to her the other day, I was in
- 59:49Speaker 1: World Market in Vegas selling my rugs and selling my scandals.
- 59:53Speaker 1: And she was like, I'm so proud of you. You're
- 59:55Speaker 1: doing such a great job. I see how hard you're working.
- 59:57Speaker 1: And that made me feel good. I'm not going to lie.
- 59:59Speaker 3: It did.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Made me feel good.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I think it's nice to be at
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: peace with somebody. And sometimes when you're so close with someone,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: like talk on the phone every day like you were,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: you know, that can't maybe sustain 40 years. But you
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: can sometimes come back to that person and be in
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: a pleasant place.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I think she's changed and I think I've changed. and
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: not in a good or bad way, but just different.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: And I think that, and I'm glad, I'm happy for Bethany,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the way she's opened up her eyes and her life
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and her heart. I think having a daughter, I think
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: she came from, and she'll say this herself, very damaged childhood.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: She's the first one to say how horrible her childhood was. Um,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I think her daughter humanized her a lot, softens her
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: up a lot. And, you know, her relationship with her
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: daughter is not perfect. No one's relationship is perfect. And
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I think that that's where she sees that, uh, Not
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: all friendships are perfect and that you have to forgive people.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: You have to move on and things like that.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: I think that's great. Okay, before we close, I just
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: thought this was kind of a fun article. So this
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: bride and her husband have gone viral on TikTok sharing
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: their list of controversial wedding rules and decisions.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Oh, I want to hear this.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Here we go. These rules include no bridal party entrances.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: You know, when they're like, give it up for the
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: best man and the matron of honor. And then they
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: come in and they dance.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I've never even seen that.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: And then the next group dances. I agree. Cutting the
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: cake in private.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Wait, they want to or they don't want to?
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: They do want to cut the cake in private.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Why stop a party for that? Really, it's just a
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: photo op.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: I agree. I agree.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Do it in the other room. Cut the cake. Take
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: your picture and move on. Everyone's dancing, right? And then
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: all of a sudden they're like, okay, everybody stop dancing.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Sit down and we're going to cut the cake.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Well, the last wedding I went to, which was a
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: fabulous wedding at the Wynn, beyond. Wow. The cake was
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: over there.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: And if you wanted to go over and see it... Well,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: that's what they're saying.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: They're not going to do a cut the cake ceremony.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: They didn't do a cut the cake ceremony. No, the
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: cake is going to be.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I'm not saying the cake's not there. The cake's going
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: to be in the room.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Do you get to eat the cake?
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: They don't want to.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Do you know how sometimes they get all mushy and
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: they're kissing and they're throwing each other.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: It's annoying. I hate the cake in someone's face. That's
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: the worst. I agree.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: Next.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: This absolutely grew with a no phones rule during the ceremony.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Absolutely. And I'll tell you why.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: The light.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: is very distracting because I just went to Adele the
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: other night. I thought everyone's camera's up. Some people left
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: their light on. They don't even realize it.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So Adele's seeing that light. So imagine the bride and
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: the groom and the rabbi are seeing these lights at them,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: number one. Number two, there was a girl in front
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: of me holding her camera. She was very distracting because
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: she's got like a TV monitor in front of her.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: And I'm trying to watch the wedding and yet I'm
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: looking at her camera phone and this camera phone and
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: that camera phone.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: It's not a terrible thing. But what I would say,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: But I went to a wedding where I found it
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: obnoxious the way they did it. Like I would just
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: say to my friends.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Wait, didn't you film Teresa coming down the aisle and
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: wasn't that the footage?
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: It was a photograph. That was a famous.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: No, it was a photograph. It was a photo.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: And it was a famous picture around the world.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: That was picked up by everyone.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: But I didn't video the whole wedding. I took a photograph. No,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: this is what I was just going to say. The
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: exception is I think that walking down the aisle, everybody
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: could take their photos. Walking down the aisle because that's
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the moment.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: But then for the ceremony, no phones. Like pay attention
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to the moment. I do think that it's OK to
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: film the bride coming down the aisle. I absolutely do.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: And then I think when they kiss and then leave.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: I agree with that.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: But the middle, I don't know if you can execute,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: but that would be the dream. I'm in on that.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Revoking wedding invitations for those who don't RSVP on time.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I think that's brutal. I mean I just think there's
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: some people in your life who are just not good
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: at RSVPing or writing thank you notes or calling. They're
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: just not good at that. It doesn't mean they're bad people.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: What you have to do is have them call. Somebody
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: has to call them on the phone. Like what an
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: 80-year-old may not even have gotten and what, are you
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: going to revoke her invitation?
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I mean seriously, pick up the phone, ask them if
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: they're coming, and don't stand on ceremony. The end.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: You just reminded me I have to send a wedding
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: gift I forgot to give last week. Please, thank you.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Kicking out wedding crashers.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Who are you that you have wedding crashers?
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Who are you?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: We got to skip that.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Do you know what a wedding crasher is?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Somebody who comes who doesn't belong?
- 1:04:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Yeah, they get dressed up and they go around town
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: and look for good parties.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: I had, okay, at my wedding, we said no kids
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: except for Peter's, you know, like the immediate nieces and
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: nephews of Peter and the immediate nieces and nephew of me.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Totally agree.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: No other kids. I agree. And I invited this girl
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: who is a friend of my sister's and her husband, whatever.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: And they came to the wedding with their kids, the church.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: But then they were like, well, you know.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Can we bring them to the party?
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: No, they were like, well, we're not going to the reception.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: That's fine. We just wanted to see you get married.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Like they were being nice. But they're acting like one
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: of those couples that God forbid they ever have a sitter, whatever.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: And then at that point I was like, oh, just come.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Well, how old were the kids?
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: I mean, they were like, you know, little.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: How many?
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Like crying babies? Like were they going to make a noise?
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: Maybe like four and three.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Were there like six of them?
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: And there were other kids there. They were like our
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: other nieces and nephews. And I just kind of was like,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: I'm literally standing in front of the church.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: That's nice. That's nice.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: And the thing, the country club is five seconds away.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, just come. Like who gives a shit?
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: That was nice of you.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: It's not like they ruined it.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: You know, when you have a no kids rule, it's
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: really not.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: But then we felt really bad because then there was like.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Another group of people that flew in that had their
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: kids in a hotel room with a nanny.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: But you did them a favor.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: What I was going to say is you're doing them
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a favor. When you do no kids rule, it's not
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: about the kids. The kids don't want to come to
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: the party. It's annoying for them. They don't have friends.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: They don't want to be there. They'd rather watch TV.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: The parents, you're doing a favor for them because when
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you do that, you force them to get a babysitter
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: and then they have a good time.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: Also, it is embarrassing... Like when you do bring your
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: kids and they're like.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Not behaving.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: Not behaving or on their phone or... They don't want
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: to be there. I'm like, oh, it's embarrassing. Yeah. Sometimes
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: I'm just like, don't put your kids in a situation
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: where they're likely to fail. I agree. Like, just don't.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: Because then you're screwing up their reputation. Because just like
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: an adult, your first impression is your most important. If
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: somebody remembers that Heather's sons are little shits.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: Well, they're 21 and 18 and now they're delights. But
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: there's still that like.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: You still remember it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they still are kind of like, like now, now
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: if I bring them around. But then there was a
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: time where they're like no kids for years because my
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: boys were bad.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: They were boys.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: I'm just saying.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: They're not bad.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: They just didn't want to be there.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Adults bring kids where they don't want to be. I
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: like that fashion.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Show you did with your son. I just want to mention.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I thought that was one of the best things I
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: ever saw you do.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: That was great.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: That was the greatest thing. That was the mother-son fashion show.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: The most fun I could ever have.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I was really happy for you.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: I love it. They also said limiting speeches.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: So I'm going to a wedding in September and the
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: mother of the bride is my friend. And this will
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: be a fabulous wedding. And I love the bride and everything.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Love everybody. And she said they don't want all these speeches.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Like she doesn't want like any.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Well, any or a few? This is the problem. They're
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: all repetitive. So you need one or two. That's it.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: So, like, if it's going to be the father of
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: the bride, mother of the bride, and that's it.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: Did you watch Real Housewives of New York when Erin
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: had her, like, 10-year wedding anniversary?
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: No, I did not.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: And she literally had, I mean, so many speeches. And
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: they all admitted, like, this wasn't an editing thing. She
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: had so many people giving speeches over a couple that
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: stayed together for 10 years.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: No, it's always the same thing. We love you. You're
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: so amazing. It's always the same thing.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: I think... I do like a maid of honor. Stories.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Especially if she's funny or whatever.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: But if it's a nerve-wracking thing, I think skip it.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: Don't make your friend have anxiety. Like Gary will give
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: a good one. He'll be funny. Some people are really
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: great and love it.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Very short.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: Heather's going to have to do it. But normally speeches are,
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: you know what, at my wedding, My dad did not,
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: I think he did it at the, I think the
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: dads did something at the rehearsal. That's fine.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: That's where they belong, by the way.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: I think we only had a best man and a
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: maid of honor. That's it.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: The wedding is only 240 minutes, okay? And depending on
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: how many people you have.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: 240 minutes, what do you mean?
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Well, it's usually a four-hour wedding.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: In the Jewish religion.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: No, it's a four-hour wedding.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Limited.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Times 60 is 240 minutes. Maybe it's a five-hour wedding
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: is 300 minutes.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Literally.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: So people want to dance and they want to have fun.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: And every time you make them stop dancing- It's annoying
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: because they want to get– I mean I think that.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: I personally love the speeches i love to cry how
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: many do you want to hear i like it well
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: it's done during dinner if.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: It's done during a sit down during the.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Sit down dinner while you're eating your steak while they're
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: bringing the entree while they're taking away.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: The salad on this list it says limited so i
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: can't argue because i don't know how many I think
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: it should be limited to time more than number of people.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: If someone goes too long, you could just start playing music. Yeah.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: Banning music requests. I don't like that. Where you go
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: up and say, can you play this? I don't like
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: that rule. I agree.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I don't like that rule. Bad rule.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Alcohol shots.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Banned or in?
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: No, no alcohol shots.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I don't agree.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I feel like you can order whatever you want.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I don't agree. And not only that, I think there
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: should be a shotski bar. Because the groomsmen love to
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: take a shot.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: I mean, shots do get you more drunk, though.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I don't drink, so I can't talk.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: By saying no shots, if you have a vodka with,
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: you know, soda, and it's just going to take you
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: longer to drink it, and you're going to also get
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: that other non-alcoholic. By doing shots.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: So if you have three shots.
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: That's like three drinks, you know, and no plus ones. Well,
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: I think you can be selective who gets a plus
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: one and who's not. And I think you can be
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: selective where if somebody doesn't have a significant other— But
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: they know everybody at the wedding.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: And they're sitting with all couples at the table. Don't
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: make someone come single. No, I agree. You put them
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: with all singles because you have a lot of singles
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: and that's okay.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: If you have a group of single people.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Especially if you.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: Have a guy for them.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: What if you have a match for them?
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: And they don't have a significant other. Okay, fine. But
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: I think that's kind of– I mean if you could
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: afford where everyone gets a plus one whether they're a
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: couple or not, I think that's a classier way. Because
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: there might be a girl that honestly– I don't know.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: It depends. You have to limit it.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: You have to limit it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: And her husband was sick or something. And she, like,
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: brought a friend or her sister. And that didn't bother
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: me at all. Why should she have to suffer?
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: But imagine it's 20 people.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Do you want 20 strangers?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I paid for the chicken.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: But that's not it.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Do you want 20 strangers you don't know dancing at
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: your wedding when you only have 120 people?
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: No.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: You don't want them in your photos? You don't want
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: anything to do with that?
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: I think everyone should have a plus one. It just
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: is so awkward in this day and age.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: It depends on the age.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: To go to something completely alone. I just really do.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: What if you're 25 and they're all single? All your
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: friends are single. Allison's friends are all single.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: No, in that case, I think.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, the young people.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: That's why I say you do it per person. You
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: kind of go. And I think you even give them
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: the courtesy of calling them and saying, okay, here's the deal. Like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: you know, so-and-so and so-and-so and so-and-so. I think you're
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: honest about it and you're like, I don't want you
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: to think me not inviting you with a plus one
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: makes me think you're going to be single forever.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I think if someone's got a boyfriend, they should bring it. Yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: but you don't want them asking the mailman to come.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: If it's a plus one, then they feel obligated to
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: bring someone.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Oh, you're right.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: They could feel obligated.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: Sorry, Gary.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: When it's the bride and the groom's friends, unless they
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: are in a serious relationship, they should be alone because
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: there's a lot of other single people.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: Well, I also think anybody that has to travel... You
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: give them the option of bringing someone.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Because you don't have to come alone.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Even if it's their best friend or a sister or
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: their mom.
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: I agree.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: You say, you know, I'm inviting you with a plus one.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: If you want to bring a date, great. But if
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: you want to bring somebody else, fine. And if you don't,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: you're going to know all these people.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: That's right.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: Make it comfortable. Like if you're really inviting these people
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: to your wedding, you should be on a phone call
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: basis with them. And you should be able to talk
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: it out. Yeah.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: And if you're not, then they don't get a plus
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: one because you really don't want them anyway. It was
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: an obligation invite.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Right. If they're single and they can't bring a plus one,
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: you allow them to have shots.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: I like it.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: All right. Now let's get into everything that you have
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: going on that people can purchase because people love the rugs.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: They do love the rugs.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: And what are the price points?
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: The rugs start at like $ 49. I mean, they're so inexpensive.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: By the way, I have a program starting in five days,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: February 5th, whatever, it doesn't matter. I have a rug
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: program going into Lowe's, all 1,100 stores. And it's a two-by-three,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: kind of like a mat size to put anywhere, entrance
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: to your house or whatever, and they're beautiful. My indoor-outdoor
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: rugs are still pet-proof. And the indoor rugs, I also
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: have wool now. We've stepped it up a little, but
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I have more expensive rugs. And I have more coming
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: that are in the higher quality, but the prices are incredible.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I'm like 25% of a restoration hardware price in some
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: cases because we're just taking out a lot of that markup.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: And then you and Allie, Jill and Allie, have so
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: many great items. Of course, the candles are what everybody
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: loves because they come with a manifesting crystal. So when
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: it burns all the way down, you have a beautiful
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: crystal that you can keep. I have creativity on my desk.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: You have so many different ones.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Boss babe. You're a boss babe.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I think that one of the reasons that I'm where
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I am right now in my career is because of
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: my manifesting the last two years.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Because as I'm designing and developing these candles, I'm manifesting, right?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: So I'm looking at this color and I'm like, okay,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: here's the stone. What stone are we going to do?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: This is what this is good for. This is what
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: this is good for. And at the same time, I'm
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: manifesting it. And I think that I know it works.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: If people.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: You know, you can call it manifestation. You can just
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: say writing things down, you know, and making your intention,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: manifesting intention, really helps people focus and figure out a
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: path to get what they want. And that's why the
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: manifestation candles have done well. I also just launched a
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: tabletop line, which I have to show you pictures of.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: It looks like the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Colony
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Hotel's pink and white stripes with palm leaves, like Palm Beach.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Palm Springs. Sorry, Palm Springs. You're going to love. And
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: that just launched. And that's going to be.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: Okay, I want those for my La Quinta house.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: You want this for your La Quinta house. Wait till
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: you see this. You're going to die. And that's on GodandGo.com.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: We have the pickleball rackets that I used the other day.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Look at this furniture.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Breakdown furniture. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I love
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: this blue.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I know. I have all this furniture now. That's going
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: to be up on my website in a couple of months.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: But let me show you the tabletop.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: You're going to flip. So, yeah, no, business is great.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I'm developing more and more products. You can find me
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: in pretty much like we're in. TJ Maxx and HomeGoods
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: and we're in Sam's Club. I have an incredible program
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: of candles and mirrors at Sam's Club. I have a
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: 36-inch round mirror in black or brass for $ 49. Amazing.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I saw it at the show. I was just in Vegas. Wholesale, $ 93,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: same mirror. You can't believe it. So it's very exciting times.
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: No, it is.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Jill's also going into hydration in a big way.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Drinking. But they're different kinds of drinking, right, Gary?
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: No, more just like being thirsty.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: Never thirsty with her.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Gary's so funny.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: It's the biggest cup you've ever seen.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: You know, that is the one thing I always hated
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: when somebody would call me that. I don't know why
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: it triggered like a visceral reaction.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: 64 ounces, you're never thirsty. Thank you, Gary. Oh, and
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: by the way, she has her own Diet Coke machine now.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: 580 cans of Diet Coke at the house at all times.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Gary, you're so crazy.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Really? Like a vending machine?
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: Yeah, she has a vending machine. This isn't a great picture.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: Do you really have a vending machine? I do.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I do in my backyard. Gary's crazy.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: He did it.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Okay, you ready?
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Look at this. The flamingos.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: And it's out now.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: So you can go to gottinger.com.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: It's a lot of fun.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Type in Jill Zarin. You will see the most fun,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: playful designs of pink and white.

- 1:16:17Speaker 3: This is drop dead.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Pink and green. Oh, and then I also have a
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Montauk line, which is, oh, my God.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Yeah, blue and white.
