- 0:00Speaker 1: He knows his way around all this. Hates the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven to ten. Woo.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Well, hey, as I said, we're like our fifth Thanksgiving
- 0:17Speaker 2: dinner here, there's like this massive Thanksgiving buffet every day.
- 0:23Speaker 2: The turkey, the stuffing, the cranberry juice, the sweet well,
- 0:26Speaker 2: all this stuff. But here's the good news. There's a
- 0:29Speaker 2: new study out that one of the healthiest things you
- 0:31Speaker 2: can eat is pumpkin. Pumpkin pure is as healthy as
- 0:36Speaker 2: can be. Pumpkin puree and pumpkin seeds boost fiber, intakes
- 0:41Speaker 2: support hard health. Now listen to this. Now we're talking
- 0:44Speaker 2: about good pumpkin you know, pumpkin pure not you know
- 0:48Speaker 2: some pumpkin pie mix with a ton of sugar and
- 0:50Speaker 2: all that, which is talking about real good pumpkin pure
- 0:55Speaker 2: It's a great source of fiber and potassium, boosts hard health,
- 1:00Speaker 2: and counters sodium's effects on blood pressure, so it can
- 1:04Speaker 2: help lower your blood pressure. Now again, important to read
- 1:07Speaker 2: the labels carefully when you're buying items like canned pumpkin puree.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Make sure it's organic. Pumpkin is good, make sure it
- 1:17Speaker 2: doesn't have a ton of sugar in it. But pumpkin
- 1:20Speaker 2: pie can be very, very healthy for you. So that's
- 1:24Speaker 2: good news. Now, the idiotic senators Mark Kelly and the
- 1:31Speaker 2: men and women in Congress, crazy Democrats, came up with
- 1:34Speaker 2: a stunt, this video that they put out addressing the
- 1:37Speaker 2: military people saying if you're given an illegal order, you
- 1:41Speaker 2: do not have to follow an illegal order. And they're
- 1:43Speaker 2: going on and on and on about illegal orders and
- 1:46Speaker 2: getting everybody all uled up. It was just a stunt.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Nobody knows of anybody ever in our military getting an
- 1:53Speaker 2: illegal order in the last fifty years. I mean the
- 1:56Speaker 2: Meli massacre. Maybe something was illegal there, but it's absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:07Speaker 2: It's just a stunt. It's just trolling. But you know,
- 2:12Speaker 2: if you made up something and spread it around, that's politics,
- 2:17Speaker 2: that's government. It happens. But if you're screwing around with
- 2:19Speaker 2: our military and ginning up stuff so that military men
- 2:24Speaker 2: and women might disobey in order, well that's the sedition.
- 2:28Speaker 2: You can go to jail for that. You can actually
- 2:30Speaker 2: be executed for a sedition. If you talk about a
- 2:34Speaker 2: threat to democracy. It wasn't trespassing in the capital. It's
- 2:39Speaker 2: screwing up our military and getting our military to disobey
- 2:44Speaker 2: in order. So then you got this Senator Mark Kelly,
- 2:48Speaker 2: and they're already looking at prosecuting people. Now the Department
- 2:52Speaker 2: of War is investigating these people. It's the defense department.
- 2:57Speaker 2: The other people are out and out. They're gone from
- 3:01Speaker 2: the military. They've completely severed any ties to the military.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Apparently Kelly has not. Senator Mark Kelly is in some
- 3:09Speaker 2: sort of a retirement situation where he's still attached to
- 3:13Speaker 2: the military. In other words, he could be called back
- 3:15Speaker 2: to active duty. So there is talk of the Department
- 3:18Speaker 2: of War calling him back to duty and then court
- 3:23Speaker 2: martialing him for what he did. And they'll get all sanctimonious,
- 3:27Speaker 2: these senators, these congressmen and women, and they'll tell you,
- 3:31Speaker 2: like Mark Kelly, a guy who served our nation, I
- 3:34Speaker 2: went into uniform and served our you know, give you
- 3:37Speaker 2: the sanctimonious, pompous speeches. Meantime, he's trying to get the
- 3:41Speaker 2: military people all scared and frightened and convince him that
- 3:44Speaker 2: they're getting illegal orders. I mean, that's usually what a
- 3:47Speaker 2: foreign power does. That's the kind of thing the CIA does.
- 3:50Speaker 2: You go around and you try to overthrow militaries and
- 3:52Speaker 2: governments and get them to disobey, so you could court
- 3:56Speaker 2: martial this guy for it. You could charge him with addition,
- 3:58Speaker 2: there's a uniform to military justice. Now, there's no illegal
- 4:04Speaker 2: orders being given. Nobody's ever for a second ever thought
- 4:07Speaker 2: there were any illegal orders given. They just made up
- 4:10Speaker 2: this whole fake thing to create chaos in the military.
- 4:14Speaker 2: You know, like here at iHeart, we have very fine management,
- 4:17Speaker 2: very nice people, very honorable people. But if some people
- 4:21Speaker 2: came around here and said to everybody, listen, if they're
- 4:24Speaker 2: told to do anything illegal here, we'll have your back.
- 4:27Speaker 2: What Yeah, if you'd told anything illegal, Now seven different
- 4:30Speaker 2: people came to you and said, listen, if they tell
- 4:33Speaker 2: you to do anything illegal, well you start wondering, why
- 4:35Speaker 2: is everybody telling me? Is there's something illegal going on?
- 4:38Speaker 2: So it would cause a big problem, a morale problem,
- 4:42Speaker 2: a chaos problem. So for Mark Kelly to do this,
- 4:45Speaker 2: if you're going to do this in the agriculture department
- 4:51Speaker 2: is one thing, but you're doing it to our military.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You're screwing up the heads of our military men and women,
- 4:56Speaker 2: very very very bad thing to do. So look for
- 5:00Speaker 2: charges to come against Mark Kelly and some of them.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And also, like I said that, looked for him to
- 5:05Speaker 2: be recalled to service and then court martialed, and nobody
- 5:10Speaker 2: deserves it more than this guy. Hey, here's a really
- 5:15Speaker 2: disgusting story. You know, in nine to eleven, several hundred
- 5:20Speaker 2: people died nine to eleven down there by the World
- 5:23Speaker 2: Trade Center, and there were about one hundred and forty
- 5:27Speaker 2: thousand people, first responders, residents, city officials that were affected
- 5:33Speaker 2: healthwise by the nine to eleven air, by the chemicals, toxins,
- 5:38Speaker 2: whatever crap was in that air. And we never knew this,
- 5:41Speaker 2: but it turns out that from the beginning, somebody in
- 5:45Speaker 2: the city, some departments, were some place, they did studies
- 5:51Speaker 2: and detailed exactly what was in the air, the exact
- 5:56Speaker 2: chemicals and toxins, the whole thing, well, in boxes. It's
- 6:01Speaker 2: now twenty four years later. The boxes have been discovered.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Apparently were a couple of hundred boxes, thousands of pages
- 6:07Speaker 2: of documents detailing what was in the air. They've discovered them,
- 6:13Speaker 2: about twenty four of them. These boxes have been made
- 6:16Speaker 2: public now. Apparently, if way back then they were released
- 6:19Speaker 2: to everybody, especially the healthcare people, detailing what was in
- 6:23Speaker 2: the air, it might have made it easier and more
- 6:26Speaker 2: effective to treat the people. If they knew exactly what
- 6:28Speaker 2: the chemicals and toxins were, but they were never told.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So the FDNY and other groups are furious that this
- 6:36Speaker 2: was covered up. They're demanding an investigation. Who hid those boxes,
- 6:40Speaker 2: who covered it up, who buried this whole thing? And
- 6:45Speaker 2: I mean, you can't believe it, Well, you can believe it.
- 6:48Speaker 2: But our city government back then, we like to think
- 6:51Speaker 2: was very honest and open, but apparently not so.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Hey.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Mayor Adams went to the Party synagogue that was the synagogue,
- 7:00Speaker 2: but the premier synagogue of Manhattan, Parky Synagogue, where these
- 7:06Speaker 2: they call them protesters, but really they were Muslim terrorists
- 7:10Speaker 2: that descended on Jewish worshippers going to the synagogue, and
- 7:15Speaker 2: Mayor Adams was away at the time. Jessica Tish went
- 7:19Speaker 2: there on Sunday and made a speech and apologized, actually Saturday,
- 7:23Speaker 2: apologized to everybody there for the police not handling it correctly.
- 7:27Speaker 2: But Mayor Adams went there yesterday, posed for pictures with
- 7:31Speaker 2: the Rabbi Schneier, who's one of the most influential prominent
- 7:36Speaker 2: people in the Jewish community and in New York. And
- 7:39Speaker 2: the Mayor was there. He said, I stood proudly with
- 7:42Speaker 2: Rabbi Arthur Schneier and other temple members, and apparently he
- 7:47Speaker 2: apologized to them. The protesters at the Parky Synagogue were
- 7:51Speaker 2: allowed to get way too close. Jessica Tish apologized for that.
- 7:55Speaker 2: They were not protesters, they were Muslim terrorists screaming. Also,
- 8:00Speaker 2: it's a horrible things that the people just simply trying
- 8:03Speaker 2: to go to synagogue. The President has been looking at this.
- 8:08Speaker 2: A high ranking Trump administration official said, the Feds are
- 8:11Speaker 2: getting involved. They're going to try to identify some of
- 8:14Speaker 2: these Muslim terrorists and go after them. Justice Department says,
- 8:18Speaker 2: Assistant Attorney General said New York may have failed to
- 8:21Speaker 2: protect these congregants. Multiple federal civil rights and criminal statutes
- 8:26Speaker 2: are implicated in these events. Full investigation underway with the
- 8:29Speaker 2: US Attorney's Office Southern Districts. So you might see some arrests,
- 8:34Speaker 2: you might see some people prosecuted for terrorism, and that'll
- 8:39Speaker 2: be a good thing, good deterrent too for this happening again. Actually,
- 8:43Speaker 2: Curtis will be with us later this hour. We'll ask
- 8:44Speaker 2: him about this kind of thing where the Guardian Angels
- 8:47Speaker 2: would come in to and protect people. Hey, speaking of
- 8:51Speaker 2: arresting people, the Louver this brilliant heist. You remember reading
- 8:56Speaker 2: about these twelve guys or whatever, brilliantly unbelievable skilled. They
- 9:01Speaker 2: broke into the louver, they stole the jewels, they got out.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It was so professional, so unbelieved. Well, it turns out
- 9:07Speaker 2: it wasn't so great because two of them were caught.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Another four were just arrested today, So one by one
- 9:13Speaker 2: they're getting them all. They haven't found the jewels yet.
- 9:16Speaker 2: They don't know if it was given to some private collectors,
- 9:19Speaker 2: some kind of crazy sultan, some kind of sicko James
- 9:24Speaker 2: Bond type villain who wanted just to own them and
- 9:26Speaker 2: have them something like that. They don't know if it
- 9:28Speaker 2: was that, or they were broken apart, broken down and
- 9:31Speaker 2: the jewels sold. Who knows. Who knows, but a couple
- 9:36Speaker 2: more arrest they'll eventually get to the bottom of this. Hey,
- 9:40Speaker 2: the Epstein files, which implicate all kinds of Democrats, Trump
- 9:44Speaker 2: is not in them because Trump had nothing to do
- 9:46Speaker 2: with Epstein. After two thousand and four, they're going to
- 9:49Speaker 2: be released. They're going through them. But apparently the Epstein files,
- 9:53Speaker 2: the actual physical files there are some kind of a target.
- 9:56Speaker 2: So the FBI has to deploy hundreds of officers to
- 10:00Speaker 2: guard the files. The files are kept at the Central
- 10:06Speaker 2: Records Complex in Winchester, Virginia, which is a massive two
- 10:11Speaker 2: hundred and fifty thousand square foot building, and that's where
- 10:14Speaker 2: they keep billions of pages of FBI documents. So the FBI,
- 10:20Speaker 2: normally with a lot of police guarding their headquarters, has
- 10:22Speaker 2: them in Winchester, Virginia guarding the Records Complex because Epstein's
- 10:29Speaker 2: brother Mark put out some weird statement about the files
- 10:34Speaker 2: are being doctored, evidence is being removed, so they're worried
- 10:37Speaker 2: about protesters, and also they are guarding the files right
- 10:41Speaker 2: now as we speak. Hey did you are you? And
- 10:44Speaker 2: Everybody Loves Raymond fan? I'm addicted to it. I still
- 10:47Speaker 2: watch it every night. There's a twenty episodes of Everybody
- 10:51Speaker 2: Loves Raymond on one channel or another. There's all those
- 10:54Speaker 2: we TV ME, TV antennatv TV Land. Every night there
- 11:00Speaker 2: Everybody Loves Raymond. It's like the new I Love Lucy
- 11:03Speaker 2: in that even though you've seen the episode two hundred
- 11:06Speaker 2: and seventy five times, you can watch it again. But
- 11:10Speaker 2: last night on CBS there was an Everybody Loves Raymond
- 11:14Speaker 2: reunion special. It was great ninety minutes. If you missed it,
- 11:18Speaker 2: you can get it online. You can stream it. The
- 11:23Speaker 2: whole cast was back, except of course for the parents,
- 11:25Speaker 2: Frank and Marie. They died and I didn't know this,
- 11:30Speaker 2: We didn't know this. But remember Everybody Loves Raymond. That
- 11:32Speaker 2: had a daughter and two twin sons. Well, one of
- 11:36Speaker 2: the twin sons, the actor, committed suicide a few years ago.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I didn't know that. But no longer with us. But
- 11:43Speaker 2: the special was on last night, some very touching moments.
- 11:46Speaker 2: If you love Everybody Loves Raymond, you'll love it. You
- 11:49Speaker 2: can stream it. Go take a look at it. Thirtieth anniversary,
- 11:53Speaker 2: boy in thirty years. So it's it was like nineteen
- 11:57Speaker 2: ninety five Everybody Loves Raymond started. But yes, I've told
- 12:01Speaker 2: you they were very careful not to put any technology
- 12:05Speaker 2: in it. So you never saw the TV set, You
- 12:08Speaker 2: never saw him on a phone, you never saw a computer,
- 12:13Speaker 2: because they knew this would get dated. You know, when
- 12:16Speaker 2: you look at Seinfeld and he picks up the desk
- 12:18Speaker 2: phone and he pushes the buttons to dial the phone
- 12:22Speaker 2: where he has that Apple Macintosh computer from nineteen ninety five,
- 12:26Speaker 2: everything looks so old and out dated. And if there
- 12:30Speaker 2: is a cell phone, it's like a big Gordon Gecko
- 12:33Speaker 2: kind of nineties cell phone, but on every bailer's room.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And they made sure there was no technology. That's why
- 12:39Speaker 2: you can watch it over and over again. Does not
- 12:40Speaker 2: look dated. It could have been filmed a week ago. Hey,
- 12:43Speaker 2: by the way, the set, they rebuilt, the whole set.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I don't think it's the original set. I think they
- 12:49Speaker 2: had to rebuild it or they found the original set.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But it's going to Long Island. Show took place in
- 12:54Speaker 2: Long Island, but it's going to the Long Island Hall
- 12:58Speaker 2: of Fame, rise at the Rock and Roll Hall Fame,
- 13:00Speaker 2: some hall of fame, and it'll be out. I think
- 13:02Speaker 2: it's Beth Page. It'll be there. You'll be able to
- 13:05Speaker 2: walk through it. Just go online and google it. You'll
- 13:08Speaker 2: be able to actually walk through the set, take a
- 13:10Speaker 2: selfie on it, all that sort of stuff. Hey, Mandani,
- 13:18Speaker 2: Ione said Deblasio. Mandani has putting together the transition team.
- 13:23Speaker 2: They've already got four hundred people on the transition team. Now,
- 13:27Speaker 2: don't get too alarmed. They've named a lot of these
- 13:30Speaker 2: Democratic socialists to the transition team. A lot of Deblasio
- 13:36Speaker 2: x Deblasio. People, transition team doesn't mean a lot. It's
- 13:39Speaker 2: kind of an honorary thing. You have a transition team.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Usually you stick all your donors on there. If you're
- 13:47Speaker 2: really great and you got a lot of skill and
- 13:49Speaker 2: talent and they really want you, they'll put you in
- 13:51Speaker 2: the administration. They'll give you a real type. But if
- 13:54Speaker 2: you're just a donor and they got to reward you
- 13:56Speaker 2: and give you something, you're on the transition team. So
- 14:00Speaker 2: you're Scott Bessett and you're a genius, Trump makes you
- 14:02Speaker 2: the Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury. But if
- 14:07Speaker 2: you're some Wall Street guy who donate a lot of
- 14:09Speaker 2: money and they don't want you for anything, they'll put
- 14:11Speaker 2: you on the transition team. So you gave a ton
- 14:14Speaker 2: of money and that's your reward. You can go around
- 14:16Speaker 2: and tell people I was on the president's transition team. Wow,
- 14:20Speaker 2: what did you do on the transition team? Well, we
- 14:23Speaker 2: went to meetings, and what did you do in the meeting? Well,
- 14:26Speaker 2: we met. They don't really do anything, they just talk.
- 14:29Speaker 2: It's like it's like those Broadway producers, those investors, you
- 14:34Speaker 2: know these A lot of your friends and neighbors might
- 14:36Speaker 2: tell you I'm a producer Broadway producer. They're just investors.
- 14:39Speaker 2: They put five hundred thousand in and they let you
- 14:42Speaker 2: call yourself a producer, and they hold fake meetings for
- 14:44Speaker 2: these people to make it look like they're involved somehow.
- 14:47Speaker 2: But it's the same thing with the Transition team, so
- 14:49Speaker 2: don't get too worried about who's on the transition team. Hey,
- 14:53Speaker 2: ken Burns, this new documentary on the American Revolution and
- 14:56Speaker 2: how America was founded and born that have seen it
- 15:00Speaker 2: said they've all turned it off after ten minutes. It
- 15:03Speaker 2: was so misleading, deceitful, false, lying about America. We not
- 15:09Speaker 2: only killed all the Indians and stall their land. It
- 15:12Speaker 2: was the Indians that had developed democracy and we simply
- 15:15Speaker 2: copied it. None of this is true, but apparently this
- 15:18Speaker 2: awful ken Burns is trying to push this in this
- 15:21Speaker 2: new PBS documentary. So don't even bother to watch it.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And if you're wondering, how come on the why would
- 15:27Speaker 2: they defund PBS? Why would the government stop funding PBS.
- 15:31Speaker 2: This is why PBS you were begging to get your
- 15:35Speaker 2: money cut off with this fake news nonsense. But avoid
- 15:39Speaker 2: the ken Burns documentary. Hey Curtis will be with us
- 15:42Speaker 2: in a few minutes. When we come back, we'll take
- 15:44Speaker 2: some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 15:48Speaker 2: is the number. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 15:51Speaker 2: seven ten.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simon show on WOR.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:01Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Let's go to Charles in Smithtown. Charles,
- 16:05Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:06Speaker 4: Ah? Yes, I just wanted to say. When I was
- 16:09Speaker 4: in the military, Uh, you had to obey all orders.
- 16:13Speaker 4: One night it was raining and we had to do
- 16:16Speaker 4: some preventive maintenance on the tank. And the guy that
- 16:20Speaker 4: was in charge of the tank says, oh, we could
- 16:22Speaker 4: do it the next day, but the platoon sergeant wanted
- 16:24Speaker 4: it done. Then the platoon sergeant brought the E five
- 16:27Speaker 4: up on a court and I had to go to
- 16:29Speaker 4: a court martial. They can they can be really screwy.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Wait wait a tank.
- 16:36Speaker 4: We it was a it was just a maintenance It
- 16:38Speaker 4: was a recovery tank and we were doing maintenance on it.
- 16:41Speaker 4: It was in the combat zone. Oh, and so we
- 16:44Speaker 4: were doing maintenance on it one night. That could have
- 16:46Speaker 4: been done the next day during the day, but the
- 16:49Speaker 4: sergeant wanted us to do it. That night during the
- 16:52Speaker 4: ring sounds all silly.
- 16:54Speaker 2: What combat zone was this?
- 16:56Speaker 4: Vietnam?
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh you were in Vietnam? Oh yeah, oh my god. Uh.
- 17:01Speaker 4: And I had another I had another incident. We used
- 17:05Speaker 4: to have a police call in the morning with cigarette
- 17:08Speaker 4: butts and I had this one guy, he was one
- 17:10Speaker 4: rank above me, and he's pointing out cigarette butts and
- 17:14Speaker 4: call son, there's one there, son, there's another one. I said,
- 17:18Speaker 4: you're not my father, So you know what, I had
- 17:20Speaker 4: to go see the company commander.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You're gonna be honest with you. Out of all the
- 17:23Speaker 2: war stories I've heard about bombing missions and air raids,
- 17:27Speaker 2: this is not the most exciting war story. A cigarette.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Well, this is what happened.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Cleaning a tank a cigarette. But this is not the
- 17:33Speaker 2: biggest war stories.
- 17:34Speaker 4: But it's this is well, I'm just saying, no, you.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Got a good point. They court martial people over silly things.
- 17:40Speaker 2: But oh yeah, yeah, all right, Charles, good, good, good call.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Let's go to Mitchell Monroe Township. Mitchell. How you doing?
- 17:48Speaker 5: Oh? Thank you?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Inside the sofa? Are you in the trunk of a car?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Are you being kidnapped? Why are you all muffled?
- 17:56Speaker 5: Hello?
- 17:56Speaker 2: Yes, all right, I'll talk. Thank you too. I muffle
- 18:01Speaker 2: my voice.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Yeah, a mark, I'm.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Do you have are you wearing like six masks? Why
- 18:07Speaker 2: do you sound all muffled?
- 18:09Speaker 5: No, I'm having trouble in my speech. I'm not a youngster.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Oh okay, I'm wondering with all the talk on this
- 18:17Speaker 5: dreadful attack on the synagogue. Yes, no one has brought
- 18:20Speaker 5: up the fact that the synagogue is two buildings down
- 18:24Speaker 5: from the nineteenth precinct.
- 18:27Speaker 1: That's true.
- 18:28Speaker 2: It's the sixty seventh Street, yeah.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Yes, and it's also near the train station. Now these
- 18:36Speaker 5: are protesters. The so called protesters did not arrive by
- 18:40Speaker 5: taxi cab. They must have come up from the subway
- 18:43Speaker 5: or down from the new seventy second Street. Submit.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Well, these are all good points. You know, who's going
- 18:47Speaker 2: to be here next. I bet he'll know all about this,
- 18:49Speaker 2: Curtis Sliwell, we'll ask him about this protest, and what
- 18:52Speaker 2: would you please? I will we'll ask him next. Yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 2: the nineteenth precinct. But you gotta remember, you think, well
- 18:58Speaker 2: it's a precinct right there. What safety not necessarily, you know,
- 19:02Speaker 2: because sometimes cars get broken into right in front of
- 19:04Speaker 2: the precinct. Catt Remember it's a precinct, but the cops
- 19:07Speaker 2: aren't in there, they're all out of patrolling. That that
- 19:10Speaker 2: doesn't mean they're all sitting in the building and looking
- 19:12Speaker 2: out the windows. Let's go to Joel in Florida. Joel,
- 19:15Speaker 2: how you doing, good morning?
- 19:17Speaker 6: More First things first, I want to wish you and
- 19:20Speaker 6: your family are very happy, healthy and a safe thanksgiving.
- 19:24Speaker 6: The same to Vincent and his family, Mara.
- 19:27Speaker 2: And let's not do the whole audience, but let's get
- 19:29Speaker 2: to the question.
- 19:30Speaker 6: Well only part of it. And yes, indeed, if you're
- 19:32Speaker 6: in the military, then they had done that. If you're
- 19:35Speaker 6: in the military and you're given an order of any kind,
- 19:38Speaker 6: you must obey your order. If not, you watch subject
- 19:41Speaker 6: directly to the u CMJ at the court martial. Any
- 19:44Speaker 6: order you were in the military, it is yes, sir,
- 19:47Speaker 6: it was where were you stationed? I was in the
- 19:51Speaker 6: United States Navy during Vietnam. That is correct?
- 19:53Speaker 1: Wow?
- 19:54Speaker 6: That oh yes. Any any order that consant any superior officer,
- 19:59Speaker 6: whether the commission for not commission, you must obey that
- 20:02Speaker 6: order for you are subject to you see m Jay.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Oh okay, well, thanks for calling y's veterans in this audience.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Let's go to UH Wagner in Philadelphia. Wagner, how you doing.
- 20:14Speaker 7: Hey, good morning, mister Mark. Yes, what's going on in
- 20:17Speaker 7: this country right now? With these Democrats?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Leave it all?
- 20:20Speaker 7: They they it's gotta be uh intersected by the by
- 20:24Speaker 7: the Supreme Court because these people, they they're doing illegue
- 20:29Speaker 7: with stuff and it's really danger to assession to our president.
- 20:37Speaker 7: From where you're from, I'm from Dominican Republic. I live
- 20:42Speaker 7: in Philadelphia if you call that living.
- 20:44Speaker 2: But okay, Uh, the Dominican Republic is beautiful, Sonny, right,
- 20:48Speaker 2: nice place.
- 20:49Speaker 7: Yes, sir, Yes, sir. And here you have a lot
- 20:52Speaker 7: of baseball players.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's good, that's true. Yeah, they gotta give
- 20:56Speaker 2: them a franchise. They got the best baseball players down there. Anyway,
- 21:00Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Hey, when we come back, Curtis will
- 21:02Speaker 2: be with us next. Now, this will be interesting. Lots
- 21:06Speaker 2: to talk to him about coming up next. Curtis Ly
- 21:08Speaker 2: when a moment on seven to ten w R.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Mark Simon on sevent ten.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Wo oh, it's time for me. We're looking for Curtis Lee. Well,
- 21:26Speaker 2: nothing yet. Well, we'll see if we can find them.
- 21:30Speaker 2: He'll turn up all kinds of things. I want to
- 21:34Speaker 2: ask Curtis Andrew Cuomo tweeting away that's his full time
- 21:39Speaker 2: job now Twitter, I guess. But he put out a
- 21:43Speaker 2: statement about something about the future, but in the statement
- 21:47Speaker 2: was the horrifying implication that he might run again for something.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Last thing anybody wants to see is Cuomo come back.
- 21:54Speaker 2: But he's you know, he's kind of like herpies, can
- 21:58Speaker 2: never get rid of it complete. It's always comes back
- 22:00Speaker 2: some point. So people a little upset about all of that. Mamdani,
- 22:06Speaker 2: of course, is the mayor elect. Rudy Giuliani put out
- 22:09Speaker 2: a statement saying he's absolutely He says, I'm sick to
- 22:14Speaker 2: my stomach seeing Mamdani in the Oval office, and of
- 22:18Speaker 2: course he says, I want to see New York City
- 22:21Speaker 2: do well, but he's sick seeing this. Oh we found
- 22:24Speaker 2: Curtis all right, the guy that should have been the
- 22:26Speaker 2: mayor maybe will be someday in the future, is with us,
- 22:29Speaker 2: the great Curtis Slee. What Curtis? How you doing?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Not too good? Mark?
- 22:34Speaker 3: I was in Malba and Queens last night talking to
- 22:37Speaker 3: the residents whose neighborhood was taken over by a car gang.
- 22:42Speaker 3: It's just a symptom of things to come. In the
- 22:47Speaker 3: era of Johann Mandani.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't understand the story. This cargang, the drag
- 22:51Speaker 2: races cars. They picked this beautiful neighborhood, quiet neighborhood in Malba.
- 22:54Speaker 2: They come down there from the Bronx they do this
- 22:56Speaker 2: total chaos. People are being beaten up. It's awful. Where
- 22:59Speaker 2: were the police during this?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Well, they've been doing this for in fact two years mark.
- 23:05Speaker 3: And they go from community to community in Queens, especially
- 23:09Speaker 3: residential communities, because they know it'll take the police a
- 23:12Speaker 3: long time to catch up to them. So there are
- 23:15Speaker 3: only two squad cars that are signed out at night
- 23:19Speaker 3: in the precincts in the outer boroughs.
- 23:21Speaker 1: This needs to be dealt with. We don't have enough police.
- 23:24Speaker 3: So imagine from twelve min night to five, or from
- 23:27Speaker 3: one to five, you only have two squad cars that
- 23:31Speaker 3: are patrolling a precinct area.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Now, let's say there's a nine.
- 23:34Speaker 3: To one one called domestic dispute, a fight in a bar.
- 23:37Speaker 1: That's two cars that are tied up.
- 23:40Speaker 3: They can't go to where this gang was just tearing
- 23:43Speaker 3: up the neighborhood.
- 23:44Speaker 1: But this has been done before.
- 23:46Speaker 3: In those Zone Parts South, those Zone parts, Massith, Middle
- 23:49Speaker 3: village Glendale, and now that it's hit Malba, which is
- 23:53Speaker 3: a very upscale neighborhood in the shadow of the white
- 23:55Speaker 3: Stone Bridge on the Queen's side, everybody's taking notice of it.
- 23:59Speaker 3: But it did just happened, It's been happening for two years,
- 24:02Speaker 3: and the NYPD has done nothing to shut down these
- 24:06Speaker 3: card gangs.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Okay, that's a precinct. But isn't there like a borough
- 24:10Speaker 2: command or of some isn't there a special task for
- 24:13Speaker 2: isn't there anything that've been called in the middle of
- 24:14Speaker 2: the night to come out?
- 24:16Speaker 5: Oh?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 3: The problem is though they're so far away from one another,
- 24:19Speaker 3: and they're just so few cops. We need forty thousand
- 24:22Speaker 3: police officers, we only have thirty two thousand and five hundred,
- 24:26Speaker 3: and so they spread them around during the day when
- 24:29Speaker 3: obviously most people are awake, they're up, they're working, they're
- 24:33Speaker 3: going to and from their place of business or their home.
- 24:36Speaker 3: So what they do is they cut back on policing
- 24:40Speaker 3: from about twelve midnight to six in the morning because
- 24:42Speaker 3: they just don't have enough cops. So if we don't
- 24:45Speaker 3: hire more cops, we're going to see more of that
- 24:47Speaker 3: because of attrition. We won't be able to retain the
- 24:50Speaker 3: cops we already have, recruit the cops we need. And
- 24:53Speaker 3: the other thing that's not discussed at all Mark is
- 24:56Speaker 3: qualified immunity. That's the insurance that every civil servant from
- 25:00Speaker 3: the mayor right on down to a sanitation worker that
- 25:04Speaker 3: protects them from being sued personally.
- 25:07Speaker 1: The only department where.
- 25:08Speaker 3: That does not exist because it was stripped away from
- 25:11Speaker 3: them by the city council in twenty twenty one.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Other police, if.
- 25:14Speaker 3: They take any physical intervention, which is part of what
- 25:17Speaker 3: is the requirement of their job, they can be personally sued.
- 25:21Speaker 3: So that's why you see the police are not at
- 25:24Speaker 3: all aggressive. They fear personal lawsuit. They cannot bear the
- 25:28Speaker 3: burden of that. So it's going to be impossible to
- 25:31Speaker 3: retain the cops we already have and try to recruit
- 25:33Speaker 3: a new generation of cops.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Well, hey, that part of Queen's has a great councilwoman,
- 25:38Speaker 2: a real loudmouth. I mean that in a good way,
- 25:40Speaker 2: Vicki Palladino. Why isn't she screaming for help?
- 25:44Speaker 1: Oh no, she has been. She has been.
- 25:46Speaker 3: But again, you know I was there last night talking
- 25:50Speaker 3: to the cops. Obviously they were spread everywhere. You know
- 25:52Speaker 3: what happens mart you have no cops. And then all
- 25:55Speaker 3: of a sudden, the situation in city Hall says, I
- 25:57Speaker 3: don't care send the whole precinct, doubt I want cops
- 26:01Speaker 3: bobbing into one another. But I spoke to the cops
- 26:04Speaker 3: and they said, Curtis, this is an ongoing situation. Imagine
- 26:08Speaker 3: from twelve midnight at night to five in the morning,
- 26:11Speaker 3: you only have two cars to cover an entire district,
- 26:17Speaker 3: especially in a residential area where it takes you maybe
- 26:21Speaker 3: forty five minutes to go to one one part of
- 26:23Speaker 3: the precinct to the other part of the precinct. There's
- 26:26Speaker 3: just not enough cops. Escatish won't acknowledge that. Obviously, the
- 26:31Speaker 3: incoming mayor won't address that. And Eric Adams, where's he today?
- 26:35Speaker 3: By the way, Mark Samo, where is the mayor today?
- 26:38Speaker 3: It's sort of like the old Matt Lowell. Where is
- 26:40Speaker 3: Matt Lawer today? Where's the mayor today?
- 26:43Speaker 2: Well, he is getting ready for the next vacation. This
- 26:47Speaker 2: is coming up pretty soon. But now tell me about
- 26:50Speaker 2: the Parky Synagogue. That was a horrible incident, that was
- 26:52Speaker 2: Muslim terrorism.
- 26:53Speaker 1: There, Oh, there it is.
- 26:56Speaker 3: They blocked the entry into the synagogue, a well renowned syenneagogue.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Nothing was done to them.
- 27:02Speaker 3: So Jessica Tiss goes in and apologizes to them, swears
- 27:06Speaker 3: it will never happen again.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You know it's gonna happen again.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Zorhanmandami said nothing to condemn it, said, oh no, no,
- 27:12Speaker 3: it was a violation of international law. What Jews meeting
- 27:17Speaker 3: to plan on doing alia, which is part of their
- 27:20Speaker 3: Talmud Torah. Jews are encouraged if at some point in
- 27:24Speaker 3: their lives to return to Israel, if not to have
- 27:28Speaker 3: dual residency, maybe they live there permanently. That's not a
- 27:31Speaker 3: violation of international boar. That happens with other countries also,
- 27:35Speaker 3: So again we see Zorhan Mandami, he's not even been
- 27:38Speaker 3: sworn in, not at all condemning the demonstrators who were violent,
- 27:43Speaker 3: who were blocking people's ability to enter that synagogue, and
- 27:47Speaker 3: the police did not.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Do their job.
- 27:49Speaker 3: And all I heard was Randy Mascro complaining the real
- 27:52Speaker 3: mayor of the City of New York and the mayor complaining,
- 27:55Speaker 3: where was he again, Eric Adams when he was complaining
- 27:58Speaker 3: and tweeting about this.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well Spekistan, what was he doing there? In Mark,
- 28:05Speaker 1: nothing good.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Happens to a Usbekistan. What was he coming out with
- 28:09Speaker 3: more bags of money to bring back?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Well, what did you call it? Wining, dining, pocket lining,
- 28:14Speaker 2: that kind of.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Stuff exactly in Tashkent. How many people I know from
- 28:18Speaker 3: Uzbekistan who are here from tash Kent, they cut hair.
- 28:21Speaker 3: A lot of them have become hairstylists, and they'll tell
- 28:24Speaker 3: me the only reason the mayor is over there is
- 28:26Speaker 3: to get wine, dined in, pocket lined, because that's a
- 28:29Speaker 3: corrupt administration there. Well, why would a mayor need to
- 28:32Speaker 3: be in Uzbekistan or Albania? Remember when he began this
- 28:37Speaker 3: trip around the world at taxpayer's expense on my dad.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Curtis Leewell, let me ask you something. Andrew
- 28:43Speaker 2: Cuomo put out this tweet. He's talking about the future
- 28:45Speaker 2: of the democratic this he implied in there. He made
- 28:48Speaker 2: it sound like he's gonna run again. Is that possible
- 28:50Speaker 2: that we have to deal with this guy again?
- 28:53Speaker 3: Of course, Mark, Remember he's like Napoleon who's retreated to
- 28:57Speaker 3: his island of Elba. Probably the Hampton's plot is comeback.
- 29:02Speaker 3: I don't think he gets it. People are tired of him.
- 29:05Speaker 3: They don't want him. He had two opportunities to beat
- 29:08Speaker 3: Johan Mondami.
- 29:09Speaker 1: He got beaten.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Effectively, his own Democrats have turned against them. But hey,
- 29:16Speaker 3: you know what else is Andrew Cmo gonna do all day?
- 29:18Speaker 3: Mark Simon, you know Andrew Cmo. I know Andrew Cmo
- 29:22Speaker 3: all he does. He's like a political zombie. He plots
- 29:26Speaker 3: his revenge, his vendettas, and his return. And I think
- 29:30Speaker 3: we're going to have to live with Andrew Como until
- 29:32Speaker 3: the day we die, always teasing us, talking about what
- 29:38Speaker 3: position he.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Wants to run for. I would suggest to him that
- 29:42Speaker 1: he just leave New York State.
- 29:44Speaker 3: He go down to Florida, like he threatened to do
- 29:46Speaker 3: if Johan Mandami was elected mayor. Remember he was out
- 29:49Speaker 3: there in the Hamptons he said, hey, look, if Zora's elected,
- 29:51Speaker 3: I'm leaving a Florida.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Try your look in Florida.
- 29:55Speaker 2: All right, But he in this race, he had every
- 29:58Speaker 2: powerful person in a America pushing him, telling everybody to
- 30:02Speaker 2: vote for him, trying to chase you out of the race.
- 30:04Speaker 2: He was up against a lunatic Democrat, everybody including the President,
- 30:09Speaker 2: telling everybody vote for him. If you can't win, then
- 30:12Speaker 2: what makes you think you could ever win.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Well, remember, if you're if you're a child of entitlement,
- 30:18Speaker 3: if you felt that your position in this world was
- 30:22Speaker 3: to be the sheep herder and the rest.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Of us are sheep, and we don't understand.
- 30:26Speaker 3: He'll continue, he'll continue to keep attempting to push his
- 30:31Speaker 3: name upon us. I would suggest to him that he
- 30:35Speaker 3: go and he write his memoirs. Nobody bought his other
- 30:37Speaker 3: two books, even though he got paid five million dollars
- 30:40Speaker 3: for that book during the pandemic that was written by
- 30:42Speaker 3: his staff.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And write a memoir. You know, maybe twenty five copies
- 30:47Speaker 1: will be sold. You know, he can invite some of
- 30:49Speaker 1: his friends. Yeah, but it's over. It's over fans who
- 30:52Speaker 1: came on. And by the way, if he wants to
- 30:54Speaker 1: fight for the Democratic.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Party, he's the one who rolled over and sacrificed it
- 30:59Speaker 3: with no cash bar raise the age close Rikers Island.
- 31:02Speaker 3: He's set it up for Zorahan Mandami and the Democratic
- 31:05Speaker 3: Socialists of America.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, uh, and all those billionaires trying to give
- 31:10Speaker 2: you money to get where are they with him? Why
- 31:12Speaker 2: aren't they giving him something to do, some job or something.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Oh, you know they will some no show job. You know,
- 31:18Speaker 1: he'll be in charge of some kind of think tank
- 31:21Speaker 1: he will need to be in. Maybe he could run
- 31:22Speaker 1: for the mayor of Southampton.
- 31:24Speaker 3: You know, he spends more time in the Hamptons than
- 31:26Speaker 3: he does in the city of New York.
- 31:28Speaker 1: That's you know, that's the position he might be able
- 31:31Speaker 1: to win. Mark.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's a good job. Who's that young guy,
- 31:34Speaker 2: Jesse whatever his name was, the mayor of Southampton?
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, he could make headlines from there.
- 31:39Speaker 3: You know, a lot of influential people obviously have homes
- 31:43Speaker 3: out there.
- 31:43Speaker 1: That's what I would suggest he do.
- 31:45Speaker 3: That he needs to go home to the Hamptons and
- 31:48Speaker 3: be with his brother Fredo Chris and this this way
- 31:51Speaker 3: they can talk about how how they're victims.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Oh poor, the poor Quall boys. We're victims again. Oh
- 31:59Speaker 1: foh yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 2: All right, well, Curtis Lee, we're great having you on
- 32:02Speaker 2: working that people can follow you on Twitter and Instagram
- 32:04Speaker 2: and all that keep track of you.
- 32:05Speaker 1: There uh at Curtishlee you can check out.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I was in Malba last night and getting down to
- 32:13Speaker 3: the nitty gritty of how to stop these card gangs
- 32:16Speaker 3: from taking over a neighborhood near you, because they will
- 32:19Speaker 3: be coming to a neighborhood near you with Johann Mandami
- 32:23Speaker 3: in town.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Oh god. Well, everybody check out Curtis on Instagram and
- 32:26Speaker 2: Twitter and I'll follow him there. Curtis Lee, Well, thanks
- 32:28Speaker 2: for being.
- 32:29Speaker 1: With us always.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Mark all right, take care. Don't forget Buck and Clay
- 32:34Speaker 2: coming up noon today seven to ten wor mister.
- 32:38Speaker 1: New York marks them on seventh al.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Woa, we're out of time. Actually, I'm taking the rest
- 32:47Speaker 2: of the week off. I think I deserve it. I've
- 32:50Speaker 2: been here two days this week. I said, no, no, actually,
- 32:52Speaker 2: I'm taking the week off. Have a great Thanksgiving. I'll
- 32:55Speaker 2: be back Monday ten to noon. And don't go away
- 32:58Speaker 2: Bucking Clay next to your Monday. Have a great Thanksgiving.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Seven to ten wo
