- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:45Hi, it's Adam here. And in today's episode of The
- 0:49Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a weight loss
- 0:52hypnosis session that was created for a client that had.
- 0:56Already lost. A significant amount of weight
- 1:00they'd actually lost. In England, we would call it a
- 1:03stone. It's around about 1112 lbs and
- 1:08then we're about 1/4 of the weight towards the ideal weight
- 1:12that they wanted for them and they had a short break with a
- 1:18friend that they were going to be travelling to going abroad in
- 1:23about. Six weeks.
- 1:24After the session took place, So what they?
- 1:27Wanted to. Do is to.
- 1:28Lose. Another 1011 lbs for that break
- 1:32and that would mean that they would be 1 clothing size lower
- 1:37than they were at the present point when they were hearing the
- 1:40hypnosis session. So what you're going to hear in
- 1:43this hypnosis session is. What's called pseudo?
- 1:46Orientation in time, It's actually taking them to the
- 1:49future to imagine two weeks after the holiday has already
- 1:53finished and they're then looking back at the photos from
- 1:57that, seeing themselves. Having already lost.
- 2:00The weight and wearing the clothes that they could only
- 2:03wear. If they.
- 2:05Continue to lose weight at the progress that they're doing.
- 2:08And what this? Does is it?
- 2:09Creates a. Really.
- 2:11Strong, compelling vision of their future with a
- 2:14presupposition not that they could lose weight, but that they
- 2:17will lose weight. So there is.
- 2:19Several levels of. Disassociation in this hypnosis
- 2:23session the first is that they go into the future and looking
- 2:26at the photos, perhaps through an imaginary phone or even a
- 2:30print out of a of a photo, stepping into the memory and
- 2:33then thinking about what it took for them, the kind of regular
- 2:37habits and. Behaviours.
- 2:39The reduction in snacking, increase in activity that led
- 2:43them to lose another clothing size and to get even slimmer.
- 2:46And there's also a very powerful post hypnotic suggestion in this
- 2:51as well. And that is the I get them to
- 2:53imagine packing a suitcase filled only with clothes one
- 2:59size lower than their current size.
- 3:02So each time they buy something or pack something in that
- 3:06suitcase, they're giving a post hypnotic suggestion to
- 3:09themselves that they will lose weight for that upcoming
- 3:13holiday. I would say this is a very good
- 3:17hypnosis session to listen to if two things are taking place.
- 3:22One, that you have got some kind of upcoming holiday in the
- 3:26diary, so there is something specific that you're thinking
- 3:29about. And the second thing is that
- 3:31you're already making progress to lose weight.
- 3:35If you're not starting your weight loss journey yet, I would
- 3:39recommend that you find a different one of my recordings
- 3:42to listen to. But if you are already making
- 3:45progress and you have an upcoming holiday and you want to
- 3:48be slimmer for that holiday, this would be an excellent
- 3:51hypnosis session to listen to maybe several times before you
- 3:55actually start packing that bag with clothing one size smaller.
- 4:01It is created for an individual and on that basis some of the
- 4:05suggestions. Will relate to the variables of
- 4:08that. Client.
- 4:09She was going on holiday with a friend rather than a partner,
- 4:12for example. That might not be your
- 4:14situation. So if you do like the idea of a
- 4:17bespoke, customized session built entirely around your
- 4:21circumstances and your needs, there will be a link in the
- 4:24description where you can schedule a free consultation
- 4:26call with me to discuss me working with you directly.
- 4:30For now though, you might get some value from this session.
- 4:33So for now, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 4:36won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 5:13Take a deep breath in and as you.
- 5:18Breathe in. Breathe.
- 5:21In that relaxation and as you exhale, that's it.
- 5:26Close your eyes, and with your eyes closed, start to become
- 5:34more aware of the sound of your voice, of the rhythm of your
- 5:43breathing that's in. Just allow it to slow down
- 5:50breathing in relaxation and exhaling tension.
- 6:01The slower you breathe, the deeper you breathe, and the
- 6:10deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
- 6:17Scan your body for any clues of tension.
- 6:22That's it. Perhaps your neck or your
- 6:24shoulders, your jaw, your arms or your legs.
- 6:31Just imagine breathing in that feeling of pure distilled
- 6:38relaxation and as you exhale. Feel a wonderful.
- 6:48Feeling of release, almost like that tension is melting away as
- 6:58you feel your body feeling more comfortable, more relaxed, like
- 7:07you're. Drifting.
- 7:09To a place where powerful changes feel inevitable.
- 7:21The deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become and the more
- 7:25relaxed your body. Becomes.
- 7:28The more your imagination awakens and I wonder if you
- 7:34could imagine what it would be like to drift through time two
- 7:42months from now. I want you to imagine it's been
- 7:47just a week or two after the trip away, going abroad,
- 7:58spending time by the pool, by the beach.
- 8:02Spending. Time with a friend and I want
- 8:06you to imagine looking at photos that were taken during that
- 8:16holiday, that experience. And I don't know if you'd be
- 8:21seeing these pictures on a phone or a tablet or perhaps
- 8:28physically printed photos. Whatever comes to your mind is
- 8:33exactly as it should be. And as you look through those
- 8:39photos, notice how your body has become slimmer, lighter, and you
- 8:51can tell from your facial expressions how much joy, pride
- 9:02and fun you're having. In those moments.
- 9:13And I want you to notice one future memory in particular, the
- 9:22kind where you get to see yourself from a whole new
- 9:29perspective. You get to see yourself the way
- 9:34that people that don't know you would see you.
- 9:40I want you to see yourself not just looking slim, but looking.
- 9:49Looking like you've made physical progress, emotional
- 9:55progress. See so much momentum in that one
- 10:02image. Maybe you see yourself out on an
- 10:09evening, perhaps wearing an elegant, stylish dress.
- 10:20See the size and the shape of that dress.
- 10:25I want you to see that this isn't a dress that you're
- 10:27squeezing into. See how well it fits.
- 10:37And perhaps you can't help but feel a sense of pride just
- 10:43looking at that version of you, what they've been able to do in
- 10:48such a short period of time. I want you to imagine what it
- 10:59would feel like to no longer be looking at this memory in a
- 11:05picture, but to step into the picture as if you're in the same
- 11:12room, the same restaurant, or the same town.
- 11:16Just imagine you're a stranger seeing you.
- 11:22Maybe you're there with a friend.
- 11:26And I want you to see the mannerisms, the facial
- 11:31expressions, the way you breathe and move.
- 11:35I want you to see someone very comfortable in their own skin.
- 11:43You didn't need to lose the weight to be worthy or accepted.
- 11:50Your weight loss is just a cause and effect relationship.
- 11:57The more discerning you were, the more your body adapted.
- 12:05Perhaps you can see even in this memory, the discernment and
- 12:13choices are now habitual. You're eating less food, but
- 12:21better quality because you're eating less.
- 12:26Maybe you're enjoying the food more, that it's fine to treat
- 12:31yourself to better quality when the quantity is reduced.
- 12:39In fact, pleasure, enjoyment and experiences are becoming
- 12:45amplified. And when you can see that
- 12:49version of you feeling good, looking good, oozing confidence,
- 12:55let me know by nodding your head.
- 13:00And then imagine stepping into your friend, seeing you from
- 13:08their perspective. And maybe there's a feeling of
- 13:18feeling pride for your accomplishment, happy for the
- 13:24progress that you're making. Maybe they're curious as to how
- 13:29you're losing this weight, but just notice what you notice when
- 13:35you see yourself through the eyes of someone that likes you,
- 13:39accepts you, wants the best for you.
- 13:42And the more you see yourself in that way, the more you desire to
- 13:52make even better choices. Imagine leaving the perspective
- 13:59of your friend and now taking a first person perspective,
- 14:08climbing in into your own body, a body that you will be in six
- 14:13weeks from now. Feel how good it feels to have
- 14:19lost that weight. Feel how good it feels to be
- 14:24enjoying the holiday even more because you're there as a
- 14:33version of you continuing to make progress.
- 14:40You can still enjoy your food, enjoy a glass of wine, but it
- 14:46comes from a place of discernment and moderation, not
- 14:52excess or coping. And I want you to think back.
- 15:00Think back to the choices that led to the very situation that
- 15:03you're in, continuing to have good quality real food, food
- 15:14high in protein, food high in nutrients, drinking lots of
- 15:22fresh, clean water. Not complicated things, but
- 15:29things that you were able to do consistently.
- 15:34And it's the consistency that enabled you to really feel that
- 15:40you're at the halfway point. Some people would say anything
- 15:50beyond the halfway point is called the point of no return,
- 15:58because beyond the halfway point your equal distance from where
- 16:06you've come from to where you want to get to.
- 16:10In which case, doesn't it make sense to continue on the
- 16:13journey, particularly if it's an enjoyable, rewarding journey of
- 16:21accomplishment, pride, better health, and ever growing
- 16:26confidence? I want you to think about what
- 16:31you did that was consistent and then think about what you did to
- 16:39accelerate consistently having those healthy meals, giving
- 16:49yourself time to allow your body to adapt and get used to burning
- 16:54body fat as fuel. When you would break your fast
- 16:59and have that first meal of the day and when you would have that
- 17:04last meal of the day, giving your body all of that time to
- 17:08digest before you go to sleep. Certain things were consistent,
- 17:15but other things, the accelerators were every now and
- 17:21then. Having one or two days where you
- 17:27don't eat anything. Can't live like that.
- 17:31But it's a wonderful gift to give to yourself to amplify the
- 17:37momentum you're already on. Having long walks of a few
- 17:47thousand stamps, maybe one or two hours or more, doesn't need
- 17:52to be done every day. Those long walks, those hikes,
- 17:57those swims, or having a really intense workout in the gym
- 18:04amplifies the progress. I want you to feel that you are
- 18:10unlocking a desire to accelerate your progress.
- 18:17Consider them boosters. It won't get you to the
- 18:23finishing line, but they will speed up your journey.
- 18:27And what you'll find is, the more of these accelerators and
- 18:32boosters that you do, the easier it is to maintain those habits,
- 18:39routines, and regular ways of eating.
- 18:42And whenever you have a day or so without eating, you will set
- 18:53the intention in advance to break the farce with an
- 18:58incredibly nutritious food that normally you wouldn't eat,
- 19:05knowing that after a day of not having food, your taste buds
- 19:11will crave and desire something nutritious.
- 19:17So why not take the opportunity the break are fast with
- 19:23something you would like to eat more regularly.
- 19:32I want you to think of this food being nutritionally dense, and
- 19:39maybe it's the kind of food you would see in the salad, but you
- 19:44don't normally have it in your salad.
- 19:47Or the kind of vegetable that is incredibly healthy.
- 19:52But it's rare that you eat this thing.
- 19:58And if you can think of at least one or two things that you would
- 20:01like to break a fast with, let me know by nodding your head.
- 20:06That's it, as you consider yourself planting a seed in your
- 20:11subconscious mind to crave this as a way of ending a fast.
- 20:21And I want you to think of those long periods of exercise also as
- 20:28accelerators. Anytime you exercise for at
- 20:35least 60 minutes, you can think of a food that you used to eat a
- 20:40lot in the past. And it's almost like you're
- 20:44you're eating that food that you've already eaten in the
- 20:46past, but you're getting the energy of it now from your body
- 20:51fat. Maybe a sandwich or maybe just a
- 20:59big slice of cheese, perhaps a glass of wine.
- 21:06Every time you find yourself in situations that in the past you
- 21:10would have eaten or drunk those things and you're not, it can
- 21:15feel like you're doing anything from 15 minutes to an hour of
- 21:19exercise simply by not having that thing.
- 21:25Imagine if you can work out even when you don't work out, simply
- 21:30by not having that food or drink.
- 21:33And then if you do at 1520 minutes, 40 minutes or an hour
- 21:38of exercise, link it to the kind of food that you would use to
- 21:43eat as you get a sense that you're spending previous meals.
- 21:52You couldn't spend them at the time.
- 21:55That's why your body stored the energy.
- 21:58But you can spend them now. Perhaps you could think of a big
- 22:08pile of sandwiches or 100 glasses of wine, and each time
- 22:17you exercise for 45 minutes, one of those sandwiches disappears.
- 22:24Every time you go for a 20 minute walk, it's like you're
- 22:27using up one of those glasses of wine.
- 22:32And we need to get a sense that you have a desire to spend what
- 22:36was already stored simply by increasing physical activity and
- 22:47continuing to make great healthy choices in what you eat and when
- 22:52you eat. That's it.
- 22:55I want you to imagine it's three weeks before you go on this
- 23:05trip. I want you to think of the size
- 23:09and the color of the very suitcase you will be using.
- 23:14But I want you to imagine that you've already been shopping for
- 23:18the clothes that you're going to wear on this trip.
- 23:22One size smaller than your current size and the suitcase is
- 23:27filled with clothes all in that size.
- 23:34The suitcase is packed weeks before you fly as a powerful
- 23:42subconscious message. Not that you could be this size,
- 23:48but that you will be this size. Your brain interprets actions as
- 23:56much more powerful than words. If you tell yourself you will be
- 24:02this size in time for the holiday, it will make some
- 24:08impact. If you buy the clothes and pack
- 24:12the clothes, your brain knows you're serious.
- 24:18Your appetite will reduce. Your desire to be more active
- 24:24and make even better choices will increase.
- 24:29Your desire to seek out those boosters and accelerators will
- 24:35be proportionate to what is required to be wearing the very
- 24:39clothes that are packed. And notice one of the items of
- 24:46clothing packed in that suitcase is that elegant dress you saw
- 24:53yourself wearing as you find yourself back there wearing the
- 24:59dress. Realizing you manifested this
- 25:05through clear intentions and a powerfully effective strategy.
- 25:12You knew this was going to happen because you steered
- 25:17everything in that direction, building on the momentum already
- 25:22created. No hedging your bets.
- 25:28You packed the bag for the person you were becoming, not
- 25:33the person you were. I want you to imagine stepping
- 25:43into different images of that future holiday that hasn't
- 25:46happened yet, all in clothes that you saw yourself packing in
- 25:50the suitcase. Feel that it isn't a possibility
- 25:59that you'll be wearing these clothes.
- 26:03I want you to feel that it is inevitable that you will be
- 26:07wearing these clothes. Stylish, elegant clothes one
- 26:12size smaller. And notice your unconscious mind
- 26:20believes it with absolute certainty.
- 26:25You will be wearing these clothes because you're already
- 26:29building on the momentum already created.
- 26:32And when you get a sense of this, it's just how it will be.
- 26:40Losing weight, becoming this size, knowing it's not the end,
- 26:47but a halfway point to make even more progress.
- 26:50When your unconscious mind believes it to be true, let me
- 26:52know by nodding your head. That's it.
- 26:55And then it's time to leave that future memory.
- 27:02Find yourself floating out of the memory into the version of
- 27:06you staring into that picture. Realizing this has been a
- 27:11journey within your imagination. A journey of thoughts within
- 27:17thoughts, ideas within ideas, and dreams within dreams.
- 27:24You've glimpsed A compelling vision of your future with
- 27:27absolute certainty that that's where you're going.
- 27:30And in doing so you have set the coordinates of your future like
- 27:38a post code in a SAT NAV. Your unconscious is steering you
- 27:42in this direction. Choices, decisions, all aligned
- 27:48to that destination. But it's now time to leave this
- 27:54place in your imagination and return back to the here and the
- 27:57now. So take a deep breath in through
- 28:00your nose and out through your nose.
- 28:04Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 28:06Connect and calibrate into the here and the now.
- 28:09So I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 28:14Starting to count 123 Waking up 456.
- 28:20More alert 7-8 Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910.
- 28:27Wide awake, Wide awake. Wide awake.
