- 0:08Speaker 1: scrible advice. He alone. We're welcome to there. Not even nice.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rub shoots are it is Tuesday, which
- 0:21Speaker 1: means our dear friend to light at dixton joint us. Hey, misty,
- 0:24Speaker 1: are you there? I am. That's kind of a sad
- 0:27Speaker 1: Tuesday after yesterday, isn't it, after the big funeral, although
- 0:32Speaker 1: we're gonna make you happy today. So we've got tons
- 0:34Speaker 1: of gossip, lots of fun stuff to talk about, some
- 0:37Speaker 1: stuff too, that is going to be really interesting and
- 0:40Speaker 1: I can't wait to get into it. So let's jump
- 0:43Speaker 1: right in. What time is it, my friends? It is
- 0:47Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show. People are
- 0:48Speaker 1: saying that Harry and Megan were snubbed by the seating
- 0:54Speaker 1: arrangement at the queen's funeral. Let me explain. Harry and
- 0:57Speaker 1: Megan did not join William and Kate or other members
- 1:01Speaker 1: of the Royal Family on the Front Rower at Westminster Abbey. Instead,
- 1:06Speaker 1: they were on the second row, behind Prince Charles. So
- 1:10Speaker 1: some people are saying they were pushed into a corner,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but that's not really true if you're sitting behind King Charles.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I've got to get used to saying that, Mister. If
- 1:18Speaker 1: you're sitting behind the king, it's still a pretty great
- 1:20Speaker 1: seat next to Princess and Beatrice. While William was on
- 1:25Speaker 1: the front row, they were separated by an aisle. Now
- 1:28Speaker 1: this is where it gets a little bit tricky, though.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Just to give you a sense of the ranking here,
- 1:33Speaker 1: the pecking order, Sarah Ferguson, she was on the same
- 1:37Speaker 1: row as Harry, so that's probably something that he's not
- 1:40Speaker 1: thrilled about. But do you like that, Mister? We get
- 1:43Speaker 1: invited to some really fun events. I've even been invited
- 1:46Speaker 1: to some fashion shows where everybody wants to sit on
- 1:49Speaker 1: the very front rower. Does that stuff matter to you
- 1:53Speaker 1: at this point? I'm just glad that I'm in the room,
- 1:56Speaker 1: so of course. I mean it is. It's always fun
- 1:58Speaker 1: to be put in the front row. You feel like
- 2:00Speaker 1: a v I P, but if you've made a life
- 2:03Speaker 1: decision that you're stepping down from your royal duties, you
- 2:06Speaker 1: might be in the second row. They should be glad
- 2:08Speaker 1: they weren't put in the back. They were only standing
- 2:12Speaker 1: room only. So Uh, you know, we're going to read
- 2:15Speaker 1: into a lot of things with this funeral, but if
- 2:18Speaker 1: they were sitting right behind the king, I think you're
- 2:23Speaker 1: still pretty important to the family set. People get fussy
- 2:26Speaker 1: like that too at pop concerts and shows. I don't mind.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I actually like sitting in the cheap seats. I like
- 2:32Speaker 1: you up at the backs. That's where all the real
- 2:34Speaker 1: fans are at pop concerts. At a funeral, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I don't really think about the location of my seat.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I never have. I do know, though, had I been
- 2:42Speaker 1: invited to Queen Elizabeth's funeral and I sat behind the king,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'd be like, that's a pretty great seat. We should
- 2:49Speaker 1: point out to so people that across about this. What
- 2:52Speaker 1: they don't realize is that the Abbey, which was like
- 2:55Speaker 1: a state funeral, that's where President Biden was at and
- 2:58Speaker 1: all the other far and dignitaries. He was in the
- 3:02Speaker 1: second road there. However, when she got buried at the
- 3:06Speaker 1: church at Windsor hours later, Harry was in the front row.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So what my royal sources are saying to me is
- 3:12Speaker 1: for the state funeral they were in the second row
- 3:15Speaker 1: row because they're not working royals, but for the private
- 3:18Speaker 1: funeral they were in the front row because they are
- 3:20Speaker 1: part of the family. So I think here we're reading
- 3:24Speaker 1: into it a little bit, but I want to know
- 3:26Speaker 1: what you think, and this brings us to our whole
- 3:28Speaker 1: question of the day. Harry and Megan were seated in
- 3:31Speaker 1: the second row at the Queen's funeral at the Abbey.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Were they snubbed? Was it a snub? What do you think? Hey,
- 3:38Speaker 1: go though, unactu a page at Naughty Nice Rob at
- 3:41Speaker 1: facebook page. Is noughitary CASSIP, and be sure to check
- 3:44Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. This story broke my heart. Misty,
- 3:50Speaker 1: what's going on with little princess? Of course there were
- 3:54Speaker 1: tears for going Gan all over, but she just broke
- 3:58Speaker 1: down crying after her great grandmother's funeral, and she's only
- 4:02Speaker 1: seven years old. She got emotional as the Queen's coffin
- 4:05Speaker 1: was moved from a gun carriage to the hearst, and
- 4:08Speaker 1: she was, of course, confronted by her mother, Kate Middleton.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But then she's appeared. This was done by a lip
- 4:16Speaker 1: reader to say how, at the time, a photo was
- 4:20Speaker 1: snapped which could have been the result of her brother,
- 4:23Speaker 1: Prince George, pinching her. Now, this did not make Queen
- 4:28Speaker 1: Consort Camilla very happy, so she whispered something to the
- 4:32Speaker 1: children after this happened. Now this is a really interesting fact,
- 4:37Speaker 1: Prince George and Prince Charlotte were there, but Prince Louis
- 4:41Speaker 1: was not at the funeral because they just deemed at
- 4:43Speaker 1: his young age of four he was just too young
- 4:46Speaker 1: to go. So of course they were part of all
- 4:50Speaker 1: the celebration of a life. We have to remember this
- 4:54Speaker 1: is a celebration, a home going for Queen Elizabeth. That's
- 5:00Speaker 1: what our people say. This is a home going and
- 5:02Speaker 1: I like that. I like that. You have to remember that.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I think four is probably two young seven. I think maybe,
- 5:10Speaker 1: if I was the parents, I don't know. I remember
- 5:14Speaker 1: the first time death came into my life as a
- 5:17Speaker 1: young boy was when my grandmother died and I was
- 5:19Speaker 1: about fourteen or fifteen, so I wasn't seven, and obviously
- 5:23Speaker 1: at fourteen or fifteen I went to the funeral. I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: not sure if I'd been seven or I think George
- 5:29Speaker 1: is nine, if my parents would have taken me. What
- 5:32Speaker 1: do you think about children funerals? Should they go, misty,
- 5:35Speaker 1: shouldn't they go? What do you think? Yeah, I mean
- 5:39Speaker 1: my father passed away when I was extremely young, one
- 5:41Speaker 1: years old. So I know I was at that funeral
- 5:43Speaker 1: but I don't remember it. Um and when my grandmother
- 5:46Speaker 1: passed away and my sister did bring her very young
- 5:49Speaker 1: son but of course, which she didn't have a babysitter,
- 5:51Speaker 1: she had to come to New York. I think at
- 5:53Speaker 1: four years old Louis would have been very fidgety and
- 5:56Speaker 1: that could have been very disruptive in the church. This
- 5:59Speaker 1: isn't a normal only how normal grandmar passing away. This
- 6:03Speaker 1: is going to be watched by millions of people on television.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I think that was more the concern than the emotional
- 6:10Speaker 1: toll that it would have on him. So I remember
- 6:12Speaker 1: at the jubilee when he was so cheeky. I loved it.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Remember Little Louis when he put out his tugue. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: blue a raspberry ticket. So maybe they said delayed. This
- 6:23Speaker 1: might be the most watched television event of all time.
- 6:26Speaker 1: They think up to five billion people. Five billion watched
- 6:30Speaker 1: the funeral. I know that's more than the weddings and
- 6:33Speaker 1: so you're right, five billion people watching and a child
- 6:38Speaker 1: blowing raspberries is probably not the greatest idea. But I
- 6:40Speaker 1: did think Charlotte and George, oh they are so well behaved.
- 6:45Speaker 1: There was one point to where Little Charlotte turned to George,
- 6:48Speaker 1: her brother, and said bow your head so she knows
- 6:51Speaker 1: all the rules. It was amazing to watch them too.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It was amazing to watch the children and it sort
- 6:57Speaker 1: of gave me a circle of life moment. Mr I
- 7:00Speaker 1: felt about wow, the next generation and how precious life
- 7:04Speaker 1: is and it does continue. Hey, moving along, this story
- 7:07Speaker 1: has got people talking as well. It appears as if
- 7:10Speaker 1: Prince Harry stopped singing God save the king during the
- 7:15Speaker 1: queen's funeral. So the moment the queen died, the national
- 7:19Speaker 1: anthem changed from God Save the Queen to now God
- 7:23Speaker 1: save the king. In fact, mistake at this. We might
- 7:26Speaker 1: never ever in our lifetimes here God saved the queen
- 7:30Speaker 1: ever again, because after Charles it's William, another boy, a king.
- 7:34Speaker 1: After William it's George. That's a lot of years there.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So in our lifetime we might never ever Sing God
- 7:41Speaker 1: save the Queen ever again. So back to the story.
- 7:44Speaker 1: During the funeral a royal biographer retweeted a clip and
- 7:49Speaker 1: it seems to show the Duke of Sussex sitting tight
- 7:53Speaker 1: lit while they sang the national anthem as a tribute
- 7:58Speaker 1: to his father. Let's not forget his far that is
- 8:00Speaker 1: now the king. I would have sang what what have
- 8:05Speaker 1: you done? Okay, I'm sorry people, but we got to
- 8:08Speaker 1: take a moment here. Okay, you're your your grandmother has
- 8:12Speaker 1: just died. You're trying to stay STOIC and singing. I
- 8:18Speaker 1: know when I was at my Nana's funeral and we
- 8:20Speaker 1: were trying to sing, the tears were rolling. For Prince Harry.
- 8:23Speaker 1: This is about keeping it together and you can't sing
- 8:27Speaker 1: and not cry. So this is not a snub. This
- 8:31Speaker 1: was just the man trying to hold it together for
- 8:34Speaker 1: his grandmother. Yeah, they spoke about that on the Oprah interview.
- 8:38Speaker 1: In fact, Meg and Marco went as far as to
- 8:40Speaker 1: say she had suicidal thoughts the last time she was
- 8:44Speaker 1: really part of the family. So all this snub stuff,
- 8:48Speaker 1: all these rumors, all the speculation about a snub, one
- 8:52Speaker 1: of my royal insiders said the following to me and
- 8:55Speaker 1: actually shocked me. They said no, they deliberately tried to
- 8:59Speaker 1: downplay Megan and Harry, to lower the pressure on them.
- 9:03Speaker 1: They said they didn't want to be part of the
- 9:05Speaker 1: family and to thrust them back into the spotlight, particularly
- 9:09Speaker 1: when they've talked about their mental health struggles. Being part
- 9:12Speaker 1: of this it's a lot to misty. I mean we
- 9:14Speaker 1: have been on TV a little bit, we've not had
- 9:16Speaker 1: the eyes of the World Watch us. Can you imagine,
- 9:19Speaker 1: if you have anxiety, if you don't enjoy this type
- 9:23Speaker 1: of attention, all these people? It must be so, so intimidated. Right,
- 9:29Speaker 1: and maybe you just forgot the words. I mean you're
- 9:32Speaker 1: dealing with the emotional grief of losing your grandmother who
- 9:36Speaker 1: was Queen and reigned for seventy years. Cut People Slack.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It's a fewer. It's about emotion first and then everything else. Right.
- 9:47Speaker 1: There's another shady moment, though, that people are talking about,
- 9:50Speaker 1: involving the Archbishop. What happened, M do you okay? So
- 9:54Speaker 1: there's this Archbishop of Canterbury and he appeared to stare
- 9:58Speaker 1: straight at Prince Harry Megan markle during the funeral and
- 10:03Speaker 1: what many have speculated to be a snub, that he
- 10:07Speaker 1: was thrown in some shade at the two of them.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So his name is Justin Welby. He's the religious he's
- 10:13Speaker 1: the religious head of the Church of England. So he
- 10:15Speaker 1: appeared to look right at the couple as he damned
- 10:18Speaker 1: those who cling to power and privileges, and many people
- 10:23Speaker 1: just accused him of throwing shade at them. So you
- 10:27Speaker 1: know he also said this biting comment that he praised
- 10:30Speaker 1: the late monarch as one of the people who are
- 10:33Speaker 1: of loving service and who are rare to walk of life.
- 10:38Speaker 1: So I mean, what do you think? I mean? Does
- 10:41Speaker 1: this be the time for an archbishop to throw shade?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I don't think yes, the just the well being is
- 10:47Speaker 1: the archbishop of CAD debrilly. He's very busy. That day.
- 10:50Speaker 1: His priority was not shading Megan and Harry, although it
- 10:54Speaker 1: might have been. What do they call it? A FREUDIAN SLIP?
- 10:57Speaker 1: He did stare, he used the those who cling to
- 11:02Speaker 1: power and privilege. He did look at them, but the
- 11:06Speaker 1: question is, didn't they give up power and privilege? So
- 11:11Speaker 1: that's where that's where I guess they can. Yeah, the
- 11:14Speaker 1: disconnect is Oh, it's you know, it's so awkward. Every
- 11:20Speaker 1: one of us a part of a family to some
- 11:22Speaker 1: degree and we all know families are very, very complicated.
- 11:27Speaker 1: This might be the most dysfunctional family in the world.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It makes the Kardashians look like the sound of music,
- 11:36Speaker 1: doesn't it? Well, they have to play by rules that
- 11:39Speaker 1: we will never understand as a royal. So yes, of
- 11:43Speaker 1: course there's going to be some complications. I mean basically,
- 11:48Speaker 1: look at Little George and Charlotte having a moment of
- 11:51Speaker 1: levity and Queen Concert Kamella being like no, it's a funeral.
- 11:56Speaker 1: The kids need to have some lightness. Right, right, right.
- 12:00Speaker 1: We've tried to do that on this show and our
- 12:02Speaker 1: appearances like we want to get the tone right, we
- 12:05Speaker 1: want to be respectful and I hope we are here.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I adored Queen Elizabeth, but there is here some drama,
- 12:11Speaker 1: there is even some humor. I think people forget Queen
- 12:14Speaker 1: Elizabeth had a wicked sense of human is d she
- 12:18Speaker 1: loved a good joke. She really really did. So I
- 12:21Speaker 1: hope we are reflecting that on this show. A few
- 12:24Speaker 1: more royal items before we go to break. Sir King
- 12:26Speaker 1: Charles left a touching note for his mommy on the coffin.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So if you saw the coffin, beautiful flowers, but there's
- 12:32Speaker 1: a little card. I got to find out what was
- 12:35Speaker 1: on the card. It said the following quote. In loving
- 12:39Speaker 1: and devoted memory Charles are now you're wondering what they are.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Stands for. It's not Robert, it is rex R E x.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That is the Latin word for kings, and now he's
- 12:51Speaker 1: signing to get Charles King, which is quite a bold
- 12:54Speaker 1: thing to write, although it's a bold thing to be
- 12:57Speaker 1: so Charles King in loving and devote kid memory. This
- 13:01Speaker 1: reminded me of the Little Card we saw on the
- 13:03Speaker 1: top of Princess Diana's coffin. To remember that. Oh it
- 13:07Speaker 1: was heartbreaking. Wasn't it a beautiful moment to leave a
- 13:11Speaker 1: little note and then Mr quickly before we got a break.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Maybe my favorite story of the day. Who came out
- 13:17Speaker 1: to say their final goodbye to the Queen? Oh, this
- 13:22Speaker 1: is so adorable. It was her Corgis, Mwick and sandy
- 13:27Speaker 1: were there at the procession. They were a part of
- 13:31Speaker 1: the funeral and just for anybody who's worried about what's
- 13:34Speaker 1: going to happen to these lovely little pups, they are
- 13:37Speaker 1: actually going to her son, Prince Andrew, because he was
- 13:40Speaker 1: the one who actually gave her the puppies, you know,
- 13:44Speaker 1: after she lost Prince Philip. And I just have to
- 13:47Speaker 1: say I was watching the cutest thing yesterday of the
- 13:50Speaker 1: Queen being really humorous and funny and I just love
- 13:54Speaker 1: that this woman, no matter where she was, she had
- 13:57Speaker 1: her purse and that scene, if you haven't in it,
- 14:00Speaker 1: with her and Paddington, the bear, where she has a
- 14:03Speaker 1: sandwich in her purse. Okay, the woman is up in
- 14:07Speaker 1: heaven with her man and she's with her purse and
- 14:11Speaker 1: she's going to have the most they're the two of
- 14:13Speaker 1: them are going to have the most wonderful times. So
- 14:15Speaker 1: I hope you're right. I'm sure you're right. These corgies
- 14:19Speaker 1: are when I lost it, misty, I was watching it.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I was on TV yesterday talking about it all day,
- 14:24Speaker 1: and it's a privilege to do. I don't ever take
- 14:27Speaker 1: that for granted. But I'm in reporter mode, I'm in
- 14:30Speaker 1: TV mode, I'm not in robbed the little boy who
- 14:34Speaker 1: grew up saluting the queen. But then when I took
- 14:39Speaker 1: my makeup off last night I was watching some clips
- 14:41Speaker 1: and when I saw the Corgis, Misty, oh, I burst
- 14:45Speaker 1: into tears because it's real. Also to her pony, Emma.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Emma came out at Windsor Castle, was brought with her scar.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Was So, so beautiful. Hey, we're going to take a
- 14:58Speaker 1: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:04Speaker 1: to the Naughty but nice dear friend. Mr Hey, miss
- 15:09Speaker 1: d we are not doing a pole today. It didn't
- 15:12Speaker 1: feel right to do a pole around all the Royal News,
- 15:15Speaker 1: particularly because it's a funeral. So let's jump right in
- 15:18Speaker 1: and do our nicest nice. Well, our nicest of the
- 15:24Speaker 1: day is actress Sandra Oh, because she actually attended the
- 15:28Speaker 1: queen's funeral, and it's a very interesting reason. Why? No,
- 15:32Speaker 1: they were not having popular celebs just show up at
- 15:36Speaker 1: a funeral for a Selfie. That is not the reason.
- 15:39Speaker 1: She was actually appointed to the order of Canada as
- 15:42Speaker 1: an officer in June this year, which is the country's
- 15:45Speaker 1: second highest civilian honor, which was created by the Queen
- 15:50Speaker 1: back in nineteen sixty seven. So it was created to
- 15:53Speaker 1: honor people of outstanding achievements, service to the nation and
- 15:58Speaker 1: dedication to the community. So of course Sandra Oh, she
- 16:01Speaker 1: is from Canada. She's a Canadian Korean actress. We all
- 16:05Speaker 1: know her from eve and she just went there as
- 16:09Speaker 1: part of the Canadian delegation with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
- 16:13Speaker 1: and his wife. So that's why she was there. Very interesting, interesting.
- 16:18Speaker 1: She shared her views of it. Yeah, yeah, I'm really interesting.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I spotted her in the crowd and I was like,
- 16:23Speaker 1: why Sander there? I mean, I loved it. Now we know.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Thank you for that and nicest of the day and
- 16:28Speaker 1: now and naughtiest of the date. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Were the naughtiest of the day. I'm sorry, naughties, including me,
- 16:34Speaker 1: because Prince Harry has told his friends he wants us
- 16:37Speaker 1: all to stop talking about him and William and focus
- 16:39Speaker 1: on the Queen. So Harry has said to several friends
- 16:43Speaker 1: that we need to just stop focusing on him his
- 16:46Speaker 1: brother and start focusing on his grandmother. The London Times,
- 16:50Speaker 1: of all people, are very fancied newspaper is reporting that
- 16:53Speaker 1: he told several of his friends that they just need
- 16:57Speaker 1: to honor the Queen Right now. They added that while
- 17:01Speaker 1: William has been processing the grief about the death of
- 17:04Speaker 1: his grandmother, he also too has been processing his relationship
- 17:09Speaker 1: with Harry. But they both are trying their best to
- 17:12Speaker 1: get along at the moment. But Harry wants us to
- 17:16Speaker 1: focus on the Queen and this extraordinary, extraordinary life. I
- 17:21Speaker 1: know it's tempting to just focus on Megan. I get it,
- 17:24Speaker 1: I do get it, but this is an amazing woman,
- 17:28Speaker 1: seventy years on the throne. So we're going to end
- 17:32Speaker 1: our show by taking Harry's advice and ending by focusing
- 17:38Speaker 1: on the Queen, let's have a moment of rob which
- 17:41Speaker 1: really today is a moment of Elizabeth. You get an Elizabeth,
- 17:45Speaker 1: you get an Elizabeth, you get an Elizabeth. I think
- 17:47Speaker 1: you'll find that funny. This quote. It's just so brilliant
- 17:51Speaker 1: and the queen said it and I really have thought
- 17:53Speaker 1: about it over the years. Quote. It has always been
- 17:57Speaker 1: easy to hate and destroy it. To build and to
- 18:01Speaker 1: cherish is much more difficult. That is so true. It
- 18:05Speaker 1: is easy, it is lazy, to be cruel, to be mean,
- 18:09Speaker 1: to try and destroy. What's really hard, what's really challenging,
- 18:13Speaker 1: but also what's really inspiring, is to build people up.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I try to remember this all the time, Mister, when
- 18:19Speaker 1: I get tired, when I get a little bit grumpy,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I often can become a little bit me and a
- 18:24Speaker 1: little bit a little bit prickily, let's say. And I
- 18:27Speaker 1: stopped myself, because that's the easy option. It's easy to
- 18:31Speaker 1: be mean and don't do it. What do you think? Absolutely,
- 18:35Speaker 1: because building something up and learning to cherish means a
- 18:38Speaker 1: change of mindset and that can be really challenging when
- 18:43Speaker 1: you believe something for so long or done something the
- 18:46Speaker 1: same way or thought something in the same manner, but
- 18:50Speaker 1: if you take the time to make those changes and
- 18:54Speaker 1: believe and bring faith and joy into your life. Telling
