- 0:09You're listening to the Hidden Light Nist on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:13I'm your host, Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:15In a failed effort, we find out, surprise, surprise, that socialism doesn't work.
- 0:23California's finding out in a really difficult way.
- 0:27They literally set fire to a trillion dollars.
- 0:33Billionaires are fleeing the state.
- 0:37No surprise there.
- 0:39Millionaires have been fleeing California for a long time.
- 0:43And now the billionaires are they're out.
- 0:46You remember when Elon Musk was made fun of.
- 0:49Wasn't it Newsom who made fun of Elon Musk and said that this was just uh, you know, he was being kind of a drama queen, moving his business to Texas.
- 0:58It was all smoke and mirrors, and uh rather than try to keep him in the state of California, he made fun of them.
- 1:09Elon Musk, they actually carried through.
- 1:13He packed up his business, business is he moved to Texas, a very business friendly, tax friendly state.
- 1:24Well, here, hot off the press, there's an article, California wealth tax proposal.
- 1:32Hemager is one trillion dollars as billionaires flee.
- 1:40What a shock.
- 1:42And this folks is coming to a city near you.
- 1:46New York City is the latest.
- 1:49We'll get into that after a little bit.
- 1:52Uh New York City is gonna experience the same thing.
- 1:56Every economist is predicting it.
- 1:59Every successful businessman is saying I I wouldn't, you you couldn't pay me to do to do business in New York City or California.
- 2:11Kevin O'Leary has been saying that for years.
- 2:14He used to do business in California and New York, and he said there's no way.
- 2:33Uh somewhere in in New York City, and they pulled out real quick.
- 2:41I think AOC was the one who lit fire to that deal.
- 2:44She was running her mouth about socialism this, socialism that, and tax the rich, and they're like, Yeah, yeah, no, thanks.
- 2:52We're out.
- 2:55We have a Amazon prime plant that just was put in uh, I don't know, a year ago.
- 3:03Pretty close to where I live.
- 3:05And uh, you know, I'm kind of surprised they put it here in Pennsylvania because Pennsylvania is not the most friendly.
- 3:14I can assure you of that.
- 3:15Uh, we are uh well, I'll talk about that too in this show.
- 3:19You know, you get these extremely liberal governors and politicians, and that's our whole that's our whole mantra.
- 3:30Tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich.
- 3:34Well, guess who foots the bill for that?
- 3:38It's the rich, you know, tax the rich, the rich are paying for it.
- 3:43That's actually wrong.
- 3:46That's dead wrong.
- 3:49It's the middle class who foots the bill for this.
- 3:54And that's exactly what this article is about.
- 3:57This is a Fox Business article by Amanda, I think you say Macius.
- 4:03Uh the subtitle to this article is Silicon Valley Investor warns middle class will foot the bill as ultra wealthy residents leave the state.
- 4:15See, that's why the middle class foots the bill.
- 4:19Because the rich pull out because they're smart.
- 4:24They they don't care what state they live in, they don't care what state they do business in, they're gonna go to the path of least resistance.
- 4:35And it's not just for survival, it's to allow their business to thrive.
- 4:43You know, and imagine a person.
- 4:46A person takes on life uh from inception.
- 4:51We take on life, we we grow, you know, our our our parents feed us and nurture us and mentor us, and it it's a it's a lengthy process.
- 5:02They equip us to live on our own, to grow up uh to be mature, uh, to start our own family, to reproduce, you know, all those things.
- 5:13And it well, at least normal families uh do that.
- 5:17Now it's the the whole concept of the family has been destroyed.
- 5:23Um typically, what we do with our children is we teach them, we we nurture them, we mentor them, we help them grow up, we help them mature, we prepare them for college or for a career or whatever it is, and then that child of ours takes on a personality and and a life of their own.
- 5:46They start their own family and and on and on it goes.
- 5:49And so imagine in this business model that you start heaping burden on top of burden on top of burden, and you're you're holding your kids pockets, flipping them inside out, holding your kid upside down and shaking them for all the money that they have, and the parents are saying, give me more of your money.
- 6:10Give me more.
- 6:19Why are you treating me like this?
- 6:21Why are you abusing me?
- 6:24This isn't abuse, this is love.
- 6:26Look, there are other kids in the world, and we need to take your money and give it to all these other kids.
- 6:33And and you're shaking your kids down for this money that they may or may not have, eventually they won't have any money, and finally the kid runs away from home and says, I can't take this oppression anymore.
- 6:49This is exactly what's happening with these businesses.
- 6:52They're leaving New York, they're leaving California, they're leaving New Jersey.
- 7:04And increasingly, they're leaving Pennsylvania.
- 7:10They're making it so difficult and to the point of impossible for businesses to do business.
- 7:19This is happening in the trucking industry.
- 7:22It's been happening for a long time.
- 7:23The overregulation.
- 7:26It's why a lot of these companies, and I'm not defending them here, but it's why a lot of companies are turning to illegal aliens and these CDL mills where they illegally give people a commercial driver's license.
- 7:44And they just turn them out and they're taking bribes and whatever, they're doing it to put a butt in the seat for lack of a more appropriate term.
- 7:58They want people cheap people, they they want to pay somebody cheap wages, and lack of experience translates to cheaper wages.
- 8:10You can you can get away with it.
- 8:11You can get away with not paying premium rates to drivers, and they're doing it because it's it's nearly impossible for these trucking businesses to make it anymore.
- 8:24And it's an endless cycle.
- 8:26I it and and we the people are the ones who suffer for it.
- 8:33Because then you put untrained drivers behind the wheel, drivers who can't speak English, and they do things like pull a U-turn on the Florida Turnpike, killing innocent people.
- 8:49That trunking company then gets sued.
- 8:51Well, who foots the bill for that?
- 8:54The insurance companies, not to mention, every time you crash one of these trucks, and I I'm telling you, the the highways are littered with trucks like I've never seen before, crash trucks, rollovers.
- 9:08I went to visit my in-laws, my my uh my wife and kids and I.
- 9:13We all went after Christmas and spent time in Michigan.
- 9:19And then we came back on New Year's Day.
- 9:21We came back home.
- 9:23And I'm telling you, there were rollovers everywhere.
- 9:28It's a less than 500 mile trip.
- 9:31In less than 500 miles, it's not that far.
- 9:35That's not a big stretch of highway.
- 9:38Less than 500 miles.
- 9:40I'll bet I saw easily easily eight.
- 9:46Eight tractor trailers that were down in the woods, wrapped around trees.
- 9:51I mean, demolished, uh, completely destroyed.
- 9:56Rolled over, just absolutely destroyed.
- 10:00And this is common now.
- 10:01I see this all the time.
- 10:02And I yeah, I've driven the United States many, many times.
- 10:09I have uh somewhere in the ballpark of two million miles under my belt.
- 10:14I've driven the United States a lot.
- 10:18And I've never seen the amount of accidents that I've seen in the last, especially in the last five years.
- 10:25Not even close.
- 10:28And I've looked up the research and you know, I've I've researched it, I've looked up the stats, and it's not my imagination.
- 10:37And as trucks get more and more and more expensive because we get them so stinking regulated.
- 10:43It is not cheap.
- 10:45I mean, very average, a very average truck just for the road tractor.
- 10:53You're talking quarter million.
- 10:57Then you buy the trailer, you're looking at another hundred thousand plus.
- 11:04Then whatever load, depending on what what you're pulling, I've I've pulled multi-million loads before.
- 11:11You know, it doesn't take long.
- 11:12You get a 53-foot trailer full of full of electronics or whatever, you know, it's iPhones at a thousand bucks a piece.
- 11:21You get a 53-foot trailer full of those things.
- 11:24It doesn't take long to rack up millions of dollars worth of product.
- 11:29Now, not every load is that is that way, but you know, these are valuable, valuable products that get destroyed in these accidents.
- 11:40Who pays for that?
- 11:41Not to mention the lawsuits.
- 11:45I mean, you you can have one accident that costs an insurance company upwards of 10 million dollars.
- 11:54And that's one accident.
- 11:57Uh, but on average, you know, uh every time you see it, every time you see a demolished semi-truck, if it's just the truck that got in the accident and nothing else.
- 12:10You can count on anywhere from half a million to a million dollars easily, easily.
- 12:17So what do you think that does to insurance rates?
- 12:20I mean, it is it is uh I talk to owners of trucks.
- 12:25I still kind of keep my finger on the pulse of what's going on in the trucking industry, and it's absolutely outrageous premium prices for insurance.
- 12:37Well, then you have your fuel, you have your if to taxes.
- 12:43It's a it's a road tax that you have, it's a federal tax that you have to pay.
- 12:50You'll see an if the sticker on the side of every single truck, and on and on it goes.
- 12:57And then your upkeep, the cost of rubber is through the roof.
- 13:01You have 18 tires typically, sometimes many more tires, and on and on it goes.
- 13:10So who is paying for all this?
- 13:14And every time you hear tax the rich tax the rich, well, the rich aren't that rich anymore.
- 13:20I mean, a lot of the business owners.
- 13:24Their businesses, a lot of these businesses are not that profitable profitable depending on what area they're in because of overregulation, and everything else that is increased.
- 13:38I I just saw an article here in Pennsylvania.
- 13:41Our our rates, and this is all over the news.
- 13:45Our uh our electricity and natural gas has doubled in the last month.
- 13:52Doubled.
- 13:54Doubled.
- 13:56I was just at my neighbor's yesterday, and he said, Hey, uh, do you guys have natural gas?
- 14:02And I said, No, we fortunately I heat with wood because I refuse to pay for natural gas or oil.
- 14:14So my primary heat source is wood.
- 14:16And he said, Well, my natural gas bill has doubled in the last month.
- 14:21And I said, Well, have you opened your electric bill yet?
- 14:23He said, No, it's actually sitting right there.
- 14:26I could see it sitting on the on the table.
- 14:28He said, I haven't opened it yet.
- 14:29And I said, Well, brace yourself.
- 14:32Because electric has ours almost doubled.
- 14:36But there's a shopping mall, a local shopping mall, and there was just an article, and he said, our electric bill went from 50,000 a month to 100,000 from December to January or November to December, whatever it was, whatever that billing cycle was.
- 14:55A hundred thousand dollars from 50,000, it literally doubled in a 30-day period.
- 15:02This is happening in Pennsylvania.
- 15:04It's happening in all these, all these left-leaning states that everybody just wants to tax people into oblivion.
- 15:14And TikTok Josh, he's he's one of them.
- 15:17Josh Shapiro.
- 15:20It's all about taxing the rich, and he he says he's he's for the poor people.
- 15:25I'm for the middle class, I'm for the working person.
- 15:28No, he's not.
- 15:29He loves his taxes.
- 15:31And guess who pays for it?
- 15:33We do.
- 15:35So this is exactly what's happening in socialist California.
- 15:40The billionaires are leaving.
- 15:44One trillion dollars lost.
- 15:49One trillion.
- 15:51Um, and it ain't getting any better.
- 15:55So here's what the article says.
- 15:57Venture capitalist Chamath Polyhopedia says California's proposed billionaire tax is accelerating an exodus of ultra-wealthy residents.
- 16:07A shift he argues will worsen and not solve the state's budget deficit.
- 16:11So Chamat Polyopedia is a billionaire.
- 16:15Uh, and I tend to believe and listen to what self-made billionaires have to say.
- 16:25Polyopedia, who has been tracking capital flight from the golden state, said California has so far lost an estimated one trillion with a T, one trillion dollars.
- 16:39That's half.
- 16:40He said we had two billion, or sorry, two trillion dollars of billionaire wealth just a few weeks ago.
- 16:48This is getting interesting, folks.
- 16:50We're coming up on a break, but we will break this all down after the break.
- 16:55Um socialism is here, and it is not working.

- 20:13California, I mean, you gotta give Gavin Newsom a little bit of credit because not everybody can chase one trillion dollars out of two trillion dollars worth of wealth out of the state in a 30 day period.
- 20:28Not many people can do that.
- 20:30So bravo bravo to Gavin Newscom, as President Trump calls him, because he literally just chased out, he he cut their wealth in half in a 30 day period.
- 20:44I mean, not many people can do that.
- 20:48That's a skill that um you gotta be pretty, you gotta work pretty hard at that to be able to chase out one trillion of two trillion dollars worth of billionaire wealth to do that in a 30 day period is just that's impressive.
- 21:08Good job, Newsom.
- 21:10All right, I'm reading from an article here.
- 21:13This is uh this is Chamoth Palahopilia.
- 21:21That's a mouthful.
- 21:23Um, but he is a billionaire, a self-made billionaire, and he says we we had had two trillion dollars worth of billionaire wealth just a few weeks ago.
- 21:35Now 50% of that wealth has left, taking their income tax revenue, sales tax revenue, real estate tax revenue, and all their staffs and their salaries and income taxes with them.
- 21:52Uh-oh.
- 21:55California's in trouble.
- 21:58And folks, this the sad thing about this is it need this way.
- 22:08How many people have warned about socialism?
- 22:12Meanwhile, the left mocks anybody who says that.
- 22:16You're all a bunch of losers, and you you don't understand how redistribution works, and we just haven't branded it properly.
- 22:24That's the problem.
- 22:26We just haven't uh, you know, we haven't used the right vocabulary to describe how wonderful socialism is.
- 22:35That's what they're saying.
- 22:38But the reality is socialism doesn't work, it can't work.
- 22:47It's never worked.
- 22:49This is what it does.
- 22:52It causes wealthy people to flee because the tax burdens are so incredibly oppressive that it would wreck their businesses.
- 23:04Elon Musk was brilliant, is brilliant.
- 23:08He recognized this, and he was like, I'm out, suckers, see you later.
- 23:16He didn't even hesitate.
- 23:17Now, you can't tell me now it's no offense to Texas, and this is just personal preference.
- 23:26But I'm talking about the physical beauty of the states, you can't tell me that Texas is a better choice than California.
- 23:35No offense.
- 23:36California is a beautiful state.
- 23:40And again, uh people from Texas might argue maybe they like the the desert and the flat and uh the small trees and all that stuff.
- 23:52I I don't.
- 23:54The heat.
- 23:55Oh my goodness.
- 23:56I'm a northern boy, so yeah, just it's not for me.
- 24:01But can you imagine moving from California, such a beautiful, beautiful state?
- 24:08Moving from there to Texas.
- 24:10I I don't think that Elon Musk was like, man, I'm gonna move.
- 24:14I'm Texas is my dream state to move to.
- 24:19But he wasn't looking at the physical beauty.
- 24:23He was looking at what makes sense for his business.
- 24:26You know, this is not coincidence.
- 24:30We can't chalk this up to coincidence that after shortly after Elon Musk moved his businesses to Texas, he was catapulted to by far the wealthiest human on planet Earth.
- 24:48You can't tell me that that's coincidence.
- 24:52Yeah, we have to say maybe he might know a little bit about revenue and how to make his businesses profitable.
- 25:02You know, he's not a stupid guy, despite what AOC says.
- 25:10He doesn't know anything.
- 25:12He has he was given all this stuff to him on a on a platter.
- 25:18That's not how it works, AOC.
- 25:21Not how it works.
- 25:24So, yeah, California, look at what they're doing.
- 25:28They are literally trashing their state, and it's the middle class who's gonna pay for this.
- 25:36A trillion dollar burden just got put on the shoulders of the middle class.
- 25:44Um this is sad.
- 25:49Polly Hapedias said California billionaires were reliable taxpayers.
- 25:55They were the sheep you could shear forever.
- 25:59He's right.
- 26:02He is absolutely 100% right.
- 26:04They're reliable.
- 26:05They don't uh they don't default on their on their tax payments.
- 26:10How many people in the middle class default on tax payments?
- 26:13It happens all the time.
- 26:16Right?
- 26:17They get put into into a very tight position because lunatic uh governors pull things like, oh, well, let's let's just uh let's create policies that are good for the environment.
- 26:30Well, then your electric bill doubles.
- 26:34By the way, uh, I'm not complaining here, but you want to know what my raise was.
- 26:38I just found out, because it's January.
- 26:42I got my first pay.
- 26:43I found out what my raise was.
- 26:47Zero.
- 26:50Nada.
- 26:53You know, my wife's raise was at the turn of the new year?
- 26:58Zero Nada.
- 27:00Meanwhile, our electric doubled, just just shy of doubling by far the highest electric bill that we've ever had.
- 27:09I mean, into the hundreds of dollars.
- 27:11We don't use that much electricity, hundreds of dollars.
- 27:17I mean, we're we were pushing 400.
- 27:23We don't heat with electric.
- 27:25We heat with wood.
- 27:28We don't use that much electricity.
- 27:30400 bill on very, very mediocre incomes.
- 27:40No pay raise.
- 27:42Gas bills for people who do heat with gas.
- 27:46Doubled.
- 27:48Literally doubled in the last 30 days.
- 27:52You're gonna have a lot of people defaulting on tax payments because they're gonna choose paying their utilities over paying taxes.
- 28:00Utilities come first, and sorry, that's just the way the real world works.
- 28:07So the billionaires were reliable taxpayers.
- 28:11They were sheep that you could cheer forever.
- 28:15He goes on to say now California will lose this revenue source forever.
- 28:20Unless this ballot initiative is pooled, we would not stop the billionaire exodus with no rich people left in California, the middle class will have to foot the bill.
- 28:33100% right.
- 28:38His comments come as California voters consider a proposed ballot initiative backed by the Service Employees International Union, United Healthcare Workers West, that would impose a one-time 5% tax on the assets of California residents worth more than one billion dollars.
- 28:59Supporters say revenue could help offset federal funding costs for health care.
- 29:06You know what the loony bin thing is?
- 29:08Is that they're they're probably gonna vote for this.
- 29:11Like California seems to just they they keep voting for this crap and then they leave.
- 29:18I can't remember who said it.
- 29:20I'm sure lots of people have said it, but um I I think it was Ron DeSantis.
- 29:26He was like, yeah, if if you guys vote for this crap, and then you leave your state and you come to Florida because we actually like businesses and want businesses here, don't you dare vote for this kind of crap again.
- 29:42We don't want you here.
- 29:44If you're gonna vote for these kind of policies that drove you out of your state, and then you rinse it and repeat, and that's a thing.
- 29:52I like I don't understand why the left keeps clawing their way back to socialism.
- 29:59It's like
- 30:00This romanticized idea that if we just tax the rich, we're gonna be able to give all this free stuff away.
- 30:08Speaking of free stuff.
- 30:11Did you see that in New York City, MTA, 2026 fare hikes are in effect.
- 30:21In New York City.
- 30:24MTA fare hikes, that's uh the cost of subway and bus rides and trips on the Long Island and Metro North Railroads went up.
- 30:36Up up.
- 30:38I thought this was gonna be free.
- 30:42I thought that buses and subways that that was all gonna be free.
- 30:46That's exactly what Mimdani said.
- 30:48He promised it, in fact.
- 30:52And as soon as he took office as mayor of New York City, the rates went up.
- 30:59Subway and bus rides for most people now cost 10 cents more as the base fare went up from $2.90 to an even $3 on Sunday, January 4th.
- 31:10Oops.
- 31:14It continues a gradual increase that started in 2015 when the fare was $2.50 per ride.
- 31:22That means taking the subway round trip five days a week cost five dollars more now than it did in 2015, totaling about 260 more for the year.
- 31:34Prices are going up everywhere.
- 31:36It's really annoying, one rider said.
- 31:41But wait, you voted for free subway and free bus tickets.
- 31:51It's not gonna happen.
- 31:54Meanwhile, Mamdanny is out begging people for money, trying to fundraise.
- 32:00Even if you have a little bit of money, like he's like a like a homeless person with his cup, shaking it at people, ask him for money.
- 32:10We just need volunteers to to give money and and we're gonna tax the rich.
- 32:17Guess how many people are giving to Mam Donnie's uh cup.
- 32:22Nobody, nobody in their right mind is gonna do it.
- 32:27Meanwhile, monthly and weekly tickets on Metro North in New York and the L I R R are getting up to 4.5% more expensive.
- 32:39You know what inflation is supposed to be?
- 32:41Inflation is supposed to be 2%.
- 32:45That's more than double what inflation is supposed to be.
- 32:50And that's just one.
- 32:51Keep in mind, this is just one bill for people.
- 32:54Everything's going up, up and up and up and up and up.
- 32:59It's the middle class who pays for this kind of crap.
- 33:05So, yeah, uh the freebies ain't happening.
- 33:10Sorry, ma'am Donnie, we're not falling for it.
- 33:13It's uh for the people who did fall for this and voted this guy in.
- 33:16He's a lunatic.
- 33:20But socialism, it's such a beautiful idea.
- 33:23It's such a beautiful idea.
- 33:25Free housing, free subway, free bus rides.
- 33:34Yeah, it's a beautiful idea if you're a loony bin.
- 33:39Because it doesn't work.
- 33:43We all have to pay for everything.
- 33:46Who do you think funds it?
- 33:48There is no such thing as free.
- 33:51Somebody has to pay for it.
- 33:55So pretty interesting.
- 34:00Pretty interesting.
- 34:03So, meanwhile, Mayor Mamdanny rides the free Q7.
- 34:08It's not free, by the way.
- 34:10I mean, it doesn't cost anything to ride it, but somebody's paying for this.
- 34:14He rides the Q70 bus in Queens.
- 34:17Mayor Mandomi was out speaking with commuters on Sunday.
- 34:20He boarded the Q70 bus at Roosevelt Avenue and 74th Street in Jackson Heights, Queens.
- 34:26It's currently the only free bus in the city and takes people all the way to LaGuardia Airport.
- 34:33He campaigned on making buses free for New Yorkers.
- 34:38Here's what he says.
- 34:39As the fare rises across the city, we are just as committed as we were before to fulfilling our promise to make buses fast and free in the nation's most expensive city.
- 34:50So he just doubles down on it.
- 34:57Crazy crazy crazy.
- 35:03There's one free bus in the city.
- 35:06He rides that.
- 35:07Meanwhile, millions of other people who are riding the subways and buses, they're paying for it while while their mayors riding on the free bus.
- 35:16Doesn't send a very good message, does it?
- 35:19It's like he's rubbing salt in their wounds, and he doesn't even know it.
- 35:23That's how clueless he is.
- 35:27So, yeah, inflation is causing everything to go up, but so are, and especially so are these liberal policies, making everything skyrocket.
- 35:41I'm living proof.
- 35:42I'm holding the my electric bill in my hand.
- 35:45I'm just, I'm literally just looking at this and I'm like it's unbelievable.
- 35:53But it's not.
- 35:54It's it's what happens when you put these loony bins in power.
- 36:00So, yeah, it just is putting a burden on the people, and eventually this is gonna reach a boiling point where people just say enough.
- 36:14Uh, we're already experiencing it here in Pennsylvania.
- 36:17People are outraged.
- 36:19Uh, by the way, our tolls have jumped up again.
- 36:23The Pennsylvania Turnpike, I talked about this recently, uh, but every year they increase dramatically.
- 36:31Typically, it's like six percent that the turnpike goes up every year.
- 36:35It's the most expensive toll road in the world.
- 36:40New Jersey is pretty close behind us, but here's an article of CBS News article.
- 36:45Tolls are going up for Pennsylvania and New Jersey drivers in 2026.
- 36:51Here's how much more you'll pay.
- 36:53Drivers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey can expect to pay more tolls in 2026 on some of the state's busiest highways.
- 37:02Toll hikes approved on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission bridges will go into effect the first week of the year.
- 37:13They already did.
- 37:154% hike on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
- 37:18They decided to go easy on us this year, only do a 4% hike.
- 37:24The most common toll for passenger vehicles will increase from $1.86 to $1.94 for easy pass holders, and from $372 to $3.80, 88 cents for toll by plate drivers.
- 37:37That's how much more you pay if if you don't have an easy pass.
- 37:42You pay about uh double, just under double.
- 37:48Tractor trailers.
- 37:50Uh it's a major, major, major increase.
- 37:533% increase on the New Jersey Turnpike.
- 37:56Folks, they are destroying things, and then they turn it around and blame it on Trump, because all this has to be Trump's fault.

- 39:27Now is our time, my fellows.
- 39:31America outloud news.
- 39:33Liberty and justice for all.
- 39:48It does not work.
- 39:50It cannot work.
- 39:50It will not work.
- 39:52It will never work.
- 39:53And yet the left is screaming we want socialism.
- 39:58Tax the rich.
- 39:59Tax the
- 40:00Rich.
- 40:01Well, what happened in California?
- 40:03They just lost an estimated one trillion out of two trillion dollars worth of billionaire wealth.
- 40:15And that's because Governor Newsom is wanting to tax the ultra-wealthy residents.
- 40:22You know, he's all about taxing the rich.
- 40:26Well, why don't you make them pay their fair share?
- 40:28If we just tax the rich, life would be so much better for everybody.
- 40:33And it's this utopian idea that we're all going to sit around the campfire holding hands singing kumbaya while the rich work and the the middle class and poor reap the benefits of those disgusting greedy rich people.
- 40:53Well, guess what?
- 40:54It doesn't work that way.
- 40:58The wealthy people are saying, you know what?
- 41:00Great.
- 41:01You want to tax us into oblivion.
- 41:03We're out.
- 41:05See you later.
- 41:08So 50% of the wealth has left, taken their income tax revenues, sales tax revenue, real estate tax revenue, all their staffs, and that includes their staff salaries and income taxes.
- 41:24They took all that with them.
- 41:26Gone, vanished.
- 41:34This is crazy.
- 41:36But it's also predictable.
- 41:39People have been predicting this for a very long time.
- 41:42It's uh it's not rocket science.
- 41:48It's it's not that complicated.
- 41:52Capitalism works.
- 41:54When you lift regulations, when you stop playing with all these experiments, let's experiment, let's let's tax the rich.
- 42:06Let's just see what happens.
- 42:10Well, let's find out.
- 42:11Mayor Mamdomi, you you know, all his big ideas, free housing, equal housing, shared communal property.
- 42:25We're gonna move away from individuals owning property, and we're gonna call it shared communal property.
- 42:32There no longer will people be able to uh to purchase individual real estate.
- 42:40They're gonna foot the bill, you know, no doubt.
- 42:43They'll foot the bill, they'll pay as if they're purchasing this property, but instead of it being their property and us putting a deed in their hand, it's gonna be a shared communal property.
- 42:57Well, here's an article here, fresh off the press.
- 43:01Federal judge delivers Mamdani early legal stepback on housing market intervention.
- 43:08You don't say what a shocker.
- 43:14All these things that he campaigned on, and he's you know, you got to give him credit because he's at least trying.
- 43:23But these federal judges judges are bringing them back to Earth, you know, where normal people live, and they're saying, yeah, you can't turns out you can't just take property from people.
- 43:38You can't just take it from the owners and give it to the people living in the housing.
- 43:48Doesn't really work that way.
- 43:49There are some checks and balances.
- 43:53So I don't know what's going to happen in New York City, but I don't think any of it's gonna be good.
- 43:58And it's so sad because New York City, as I reported here on the hidden lightness, New York City just experienced in 2025 the lowest homicide rate ever in its history.
- 44:14Things were looking up for New York City.
- 44:20Things were looking good.
- 44:23Crime rates down.
- 44:25Uh it they were really well positioned to excel and to just to be or continue to be a great city.
- 44:38Well, as good as cities can go.
- 44:40I'm a good old country boy.
- 44:41I'm I'm not a fan of New York City.
- 44:44Everybody wears the I Heart New York City shirts and hats and all the, you know, all the New York City merch.
- 44:50I don't love New York City.
- 44:52Maybe I'm I'm an outcast, but I think I've driven truck through New York City too many times.
- 44:58It's it is not a very friendly city for uh oversized vehicles, we'll put it that way.
- 45:07But it's just too crowded, it's it's not my it's not my vibe.
- 45:11Uh I'm not knocking people who live there.
- 45:13It's uh some people love it, and it gives them good opportunity, but uh I'm not a fan.
- 45:20I don't heart New York City.
- 45:22Uh, but that's personal preference, so who cares?
- 45:26That's it doesn't matter.
- 45:28Uh but my point is this.
- 45:32New York City could be thriving with with low crime rates, that makes that an appealing city.
- 45:44It may it makes it nice for tourism, and I'll admit it's it's fun to visit as long as I get in and out in a day.
- 45:53I don't even like to spend the night there.
- 45:56But it's it's fun, it's fun to visit.
- 46:00Lots and lots and lots.
- 46:01I mean, millions of tourists go to New York City every year.
- 46:06And especially now with crime rates as low as they are, that makes it very appealing.
- 46:12But what's gonna happen when these businesses start getting driven out, and it will happen.
- 46:18What we're seeing in California is gonna be happening in in New York City.
- 46:24I mean, it's already happened.
- 46:25There's already multiple people who've pulled businesses out of New York City over the past 10, 15 years.
- 46:35I remember Rush Limbaugh said that he he pulled out of New York and uh he was happy to be in Florida to no longer do any business in in New York.
- 46:48Uh as I mentioned, Kevin O'Leary, he talks about pulling out of New York City.
- 46:53He he wants nothing to do with New York City, and this is gonna be rinsed and repeated over and over again.
- 47:02It's just not sustainable.
- 47:06So I guess the the good news in all of this is that unfortunately people are gonna, as the saying goes, mess around and find out.
- 47:20You vote for this kind of garbage, cities are gonna suffer, states are gonna suffer.
- 47:26There's gonna be a mass exodus that's gonna create a crisis like we've never seen before.
- 47:30I don't I can't even tell you what what's coming down the pike for California.
- 47:36It already has such a bad homeless crisis.
- 47:40The homelessness in California is off the charts.
- 47:45I mean, it's it's it's sad, it's so sad.
- 47:50And a lot of what's driving that is the unaffordability.
- 47:55Because they pull crap like this, and then it makes it makes the the cost of everything skyrocket.
- 48:04You know, what are people paying for gas in California?
- 48:06Is it's like five bucks or something?
- 48:11Yeah, here it is.
- 48:12So the the average is four dollars and twenty-two cents per gallon in California, just uh shy of five dollars.
- 48:22I mean, that that's absolutely crazy.
- 48:26There are places in California where it's over seven bucks a gallon.
- 48:32I mean, that this is what happens.
- 48:37Uh it's not sustainable.
- 48:42So unfortunately, I think there's gonna have to be a reset.
- 48:46And that's the hidden lightness that I find in this, is that more and more people are gonna wake up to the fact that socialism doesn't work, but it's one of those that they have to try it out to actually believe people on on the right, on the political right.
- 49:05Yeah, financial uh fiscal conservatives that they they've been staying forever.
- 49:13Socialist policies don't work.
- 49:17They've never worked, they create oppression, they create major inflation.
- 49:24This is a case in point.
- 49:25Take any city where or state where you have extreme left policies, you have socialist policies, you have overregulation, and you tell me, look at the taxes, look at the cost of living.
- 49:43And again, Pennsylvania, it's it's getting uh really bad.
- 49:49I mean, we I've been saying this since I moved here, and I love Pennsylvania.
- 49:53I have no intentions of leaving.
- 49:57Uh, but I bemoan it.
- 49:59I think it's
- 50:00I think it's sad.
- 50:02But I've been saying this since I moved here, I don't know how many years ago, 19 years, 20 years ago.
- 50:08I moved back to Pennsylvania, and I've been saying we are little California.
- 50:14It's like we're so desperate to look like California.
- 50:19With the regulations and the taxes, we're trying so hard to mimic them and to look like California.
- 50:26And it doesn't work.
- 50:29It's not working for the Pennsylvanians.
- 50:31I can tell you that.
- 50:33I talk to people all around me.
- 50:39And I see it online.
- 50:40I see what people are saying.
- 50:42They're being burdened.
- 50:45Meanwhile, TikTok Josh is making his TikToks and talking about where we're really here for the poor people.
- 50:56We're going to give you, we're going to throw $200 at you, and uh, man, this is going to go so far with you.
- 51:03Like, what are you smoking?
- 51:07Josh has all the money he can ever imagine.
- 51:10You know, Governor Shapiro, he is not hurting for money.
- 51:16He doesn't have a clue.
- 51:17Doesn't have a clue what it's like for the average person here in Pennsylvania.
- 51:22$200 when your electric bill is $400 a month.
- 51:28When you're sipping electricity, and it still costs you $400 a month.
- 51:35$200 for by the way, we don't qualify for that.
- 51:39We make way too much money for that.
- 51:42This is for like the poorest of the poor.
- 51:45And he's bragging about how he's putting $200 into the pockets of people, and that's just gonna, it's gonna get them so much farther down the road.
- 51:53And like he's making all his cute TikToks about it while he's dancing, and it's just you're so out of touch, so clueless.
- 52:04And I don't know if they think that the people are dumb enough to fall for that, but I love reading the comments because people are not stupid.
- 52:12People know that this doesn't work.
- 52:15I just don't understand how socialists keep getting voted in.
- 52:20That's where somewhere there's a disconnect.
- 52:25But people will wake up to the fact.
- 52:26I think all these people in New York City who are promised all the free buses and free subways and free housing, and uh none of that's happening.
- 52:35In fact, the prices are only going up.
- 52:38I think that they're gonna vote Mamdanny out pretty quickly.
- 52:43But they're stuck with him.
- 52:46I mean, he's their mayor for the next several years.
- 52:52They voted for him, they're gonna find out.
- 52:56But capitalism works, and that's what I want to focus on.
- 53:00That's the good news.
- 53:01The economy is resilient.
- 53:03The economy overall is doing well.
- 53:06These businesses that are leaving California, unfortunately, the state of California is gonna suffer badly.
- 53:13The city of New York, New York City, it's gonna suffer badly.
- 53:20Minneapolis.
- 53:22It's gonna suffer.
- 53:26It already is suffering.
- 53:27You look at people are just on edge.
- 53:31All these riots and people losing their minds.
- 53:37You can't have these policies and people live a happy life.
- 53:42You tell me.
- 53:43I mean, look at the people in Minneapolis.
- 53:45Do they look like go lucky happy people?
- 53:50Or do they look like deranged lunatics?
- 53:55Yeah, to me, it's sadly looks like the ladder.
- 53:58Like these people have just been beaten down, so to speak.
- 54:04You know, life is hard there.
- 54:08And uh they they just keep voting for this garbage.
- 54:12They vote for more of it.
- 54:13But you know, the good news overall is the economy's doing well in in the United States.
- 54:18Uh, we have the one big beautiful bill that uh they promise 11,000 to 20,000 per family per household in savings.
- 54:31You know, federally on the federal level, they're doing everything they can to make life easier for people, deregulating a lot of things.
- 54:41They're just making it making life easier, but people they don't they don't want to accept that.
- 54:49It's just orange man bad, Mamdanny good, orange man bad, newsom good.
- 54:58Well, look at the statistics, look at the numbers.
- 55:03See, capitalism works.
- 55:04That's what this nation was founded on.
- 55:06They tried socialism.
- 55:10The pioneers tried socialism, they tried the experiment, it failed miserably.
- 55:17It absolutely fell apart within minutes.
- 55:21It doesn't work.
- 55:24So they're like, oh, well, let's latch on to capitalism and let's make that a core principle for America.
- 55:32And look at how prosperous our nation has become.
- 55:35So we can't let these people win.
- 55:41And they're certainly not gonna ruin our day.
- 55:45So we believe in a free market.
- 55:47We believe in capitalism, and we believe in it because it works.
- 55:51It simply works.
- 55:54Might not be a perfect system, but it definitely works.
- 55:59It works better than this nonsense.
- 56:02So California, they're uh they're gonna mess around and find out.
- 56:06This just uh, I can't believe it.
- 56:10A trillion dollars just like that.
- 56:12How do you blink your eyes and lose a trillion dollars?
- 56:17Well, newsome newsome can do it.
- 56:20If anybody can pull it off, he can do it.
- 56:24So it'll be interesting to see how this uh unfolds, but uh man, it's the 250-year anniversary of our nation, and this is a year that we're gonna celebrate.
- 56:36We're gonna celebrate life and the economy and the birth of this nation, and we're not gonna let the deranged left policies get us down.
- 56:47Socialism, it's just not gonna get us down.
- 56:52Uh, it's not gonna work.
- 56:53They they can try to destroy this nation, but we're too strong.
- 56:57We're too strong of a nation, and uh, that's the hidden lightness, folks.
- 57:02You find more out about my show and get all the latest podcasts if you go to the menu navigation bar at America Outloud.news under our shows or schedule.
- 57:10You'll be in the know.
- 57:11There is a hidden lightness that shines inside of all of us.
- 57:14When so much darkness envelops the world, remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:22Join me in being a light.
