- 1:43Speaker 1: drive so I can think, like, I can't think of
- 1:45Speaker 1: a better time to kick it off than like right now.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Absolutely had that last rush before we get into the
- 1:50Speaker 1: end of this particular wave.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And please don't be like the talkback we got yesterday,
- 1:55Speaker 4: or the gentleman said, oh I think I missed the
- 1:59Speaker 4: call that said no caller idea.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Dude didn't pick it up and he was playing the game.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, that's a kick in the ass.
- 2:05Speaker 6: I wonder what he was doing.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I don't know, being angry because he called us the
- 2:09Speaker 1: towns out piste.
- 2:09Speaker 5: He was probably playing like Monopoly Go or something on
- 2:12Speaker 5: his phone.
- 2:12Speaker 1: How's everybody going today? Everybody good? Good? Yeah? Yeah. We
- 2:16Speaker 1: had our client meeting in the building today, so when
- 2:19Speaker 1: we walked in, we're inundated with people that spend money
- 2:22Speaker 1: here on the station. We appreciate every single one of them.
- 2:24Speaker 1: And that doesn't just include w TKS Real Radio. All
- 2:27Speaker 1: the stations were represented today. So everybody who who leans
- 2:32Speaker 1: on iHeartRadio and iHeartMedia here in Central Florida, we thank
- 2:35Speaker 1: you so much for your your yeah, and for coming by.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's always good to see him goo Ol' Leon Mills
- 2:43Speaker 1: see him today. The wonderful people from Paul Davis Frustration
- 2:46Speaker 1: dropped by today. It's always good. Yeah. The guy's from
- 2:49Speaker 1: Solar Source. Yeah, well absolutely.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Man, I'd just be eating all the scraps that you
- 2:54Speaker 5: guys didn't eat.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was really good life image and gave her
- 2:58Speaker 1: a nice massage. Yeah yeah. Uh.
- 3:01Speaker 8: With knowing it was a Thursday and Ross is coming
- 3:04Speaker 8: in and I saw all that food, I'm like.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Ah, we got our boy cover.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, I am man I straight raccoon when I'm
- 3:10Speaker 6: over here.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's become a little thing between everybody on the show
- 3:12Speaker 1: that when Ross comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we
- 3:15Speaker 1: have this want to feed you.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Yeah, well I appreciate it.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, he comes in hungry.
- 3:21Speaker 6: You can call me Ross trash Can Pageant.
- 3:23Speaker 9: That's right.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Jokes aside though, that was my mom's nickname towards my
- 3:27Speaker 5: brother brother, the trash Can. Yeah, yeah, cause ate a lot.
- 3:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Well, whenever I didn't finish my food or she didn't
- 3:33Speaker 5: finish the food, she would be like, do you want it?
- 3:35Speaker 1: And then you would say yes.
- 3:37Speaker 5: It was one of those things that like should have
- 3:39Speaker 5: died in the nineties and it did, you know, Like
- 3:42Speaker 5: it's one of those things in hindsight you look back
- 3:44Speaker 5: and you're like, yeah, we didn't even call him the recycler.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Dude was just a disposal, Yes, all right, seven seven
- 3:52Speaker 1: zero three one. We do have a question of the
- 3:53Speaker 1: day up? Jack? You have that worded a certain way
- 3:56Speaker 1: because I wanted to make sure before I launch into
- 3:58Speaker 1: the story that you have it right.
- 3:59Speaker 8: I am going to take it verbatim from your email. Okay,
- 4:03Speaker 8: that's fine, And.
- 4:04Speaker 1: The reason why is there's actually a story out there.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Want to kick the show off with us today and
- 4:07Speaker 1: then we can move in some other things. You're looking
- 4:09Speaker 1: at me, I there ain't no way you got this.
- 4:12Speaker 10: I don't.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I don't even know what it is.
- 4:13Speaker 1: My half of my job is dodging what you already know.
- 4:16Speaker 5: The other half is getting hit by it was already
- 4:19Speaker 5: done on the news drunk kit, right, that's just a
- 4:24Speaker 5: small like a obstacle horse we have to go through.
- 4:27Speaker 1: For the show every day. So do you want the
- 4:29Speaker 1: question as worded? Yeah, you're go ahead.
- 4:31Speaker 8: Okay, it's do you think lifted truck should be banned
- 4:35Speaker 8: because of safety issues for other vehicles?
- 4:37Speaker 1: That's one hundred percent exactly how it should be worded,
- 4:40Speaker 1: because that's exactly one hundred percent what's being said.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Is this what do you call it? You called it
- 4:46Speaker 3: the palacca?
- 4:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the plaka leen.
- 4:48Speaker 3: The plaqua lien.
- 4:49Speaker 4: What's the other name for it frogging or something where
- 4:53Speaker 4: the ass of the truck goes up.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Down, down, down. They squat the ass and lift the
- 4:57Speaker 1: front and they lift it all, but they lift the
- 4:59Speaker 1: front way more so. It's like it's a scalded dog.
- 5:02Speaker 1: If you kick the dog and the aswerre doing something
- 5:03Speaker 1: stupid and it tucked it's ass and ran away, that's
- 5:05Speaker 1: what they look like.
- 5:06Speaker 5: It's also called waste own money. Now I'm joking. I'm joking.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I'm all about like modding your car so like it's
- 5:12Speaker 5: not a waste of money. I'm actually pro this. Whenever
- 5:15Speaker 5: I see it, I'm like, hell yeah, there is no rules.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Okay, So here's the thing I don't mind either. Like
- 5:20Speaker 1: they've already hit these guys or girls. You can't say
- 5:22Speaker 1: just guys. Once with the whole bumper thing. Remember the
- 5:25Speaker 1: bumper was too high because cars that are smaller like
- 5:27Speaker 1: you're a car like you are the Actually all three
- 5:31Speaker 1: of you guys are the perfect example. You guys all
- 5:33Speaker 1: drive cars that are relatively low to the ground. Deb
- 5:36Speaker 1: yours is real low, like a good three or four
- 5:38Speaker 1: inches off the ground.
- 5:39Speaker 5: Can't you go but rosses even though it's a it's
- 5:42Speaker 5: a Family Sedan.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's a Honda. It's a touring car which I take lower.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Top Tram twenty twenty one. I did my research.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Jack drives the sketchs of vehicles, so I can't. You're
- 5:52Speaker 1: the only one who he throws hate at you know what?
- 5:54Speaker 11: You know what?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't get it.
- 5:55Speaker 5: I listen, it's low, it's more of a it's just
- 5:58Speaker 5: say it's a crossover over. I got a compliment today
- 6:01Speaker 5: picking up our food on the vehicle, and Jim is
- 6:05Speaker 5: the only one who throws hate out.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I only do it because it's fine.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Listen, how have you guys been dating?
- 6:11Speaker 5: I feel like I can defend Jim's position and Jack's
- 6:14Speaker 5: position when it comes to Jack's car. I think, Jim,
- 6:17Speaker 5: it's easy to make a joke about it because like,
- 6:19Speaker 5: you never.
- 6:20Speaker 1: See that car.
- 6:21Speaker 5: No, that is the you're the only person in Central
- 6:24Speaker 5: Florida driving that car like.
- 6:26Speaker 1: A candy orange crown.
- 6:27Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, in two years, I've seen like less than
- 6:30Speaker 8: five in the Wye.
- 6:32Speaker 5: That sends some super jealous. But defend Jack's position. It
- 6:36Speaker 5: is kind of like a like a bag. Ceial rolls
- 6:38Speaker 5: rules right, it's a compliment. I drive a bag Cereal bens.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You know the way that.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Jack's just scratched his neck, I think you might want
- 6:46Speaker 4: to exit that.
- 6:48Speaker 5: I'm kind of close. It's thin.
- 6:51Speaker 1: It's the thin mint of cars to be compared to
- 6:54Speaker 1: a Rolls Royce. Is that right? Then he got the bag.
- 6:58Speaker 1: It's a nice car. It really does apply to the
- 6:59Speaker 1: same thing as well. So imagine if deb is cruising
- 7:02Speaker 1: on the highway right and you got one of these dudes,
- 7:04Speaker 1: these broadrope one of these bro.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Dozers, Carolina squat right, that's lifted way up.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I mean her car could go right under it.
- 7:09Speaker 5: So theoretically, what they're saying in this story is is
- 7:12Speaker 5: that those cars are those those vehicles, those lifted trucks
- 7:16Speaker 5: are really a danger to a lot of people on
- 7:18Speaker 5: the highway.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Now, I look, here's the thing.
- 7:20Speaker 3: That looks so stupid.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I don't really agree with it. I think you should
- 7:23Speaker 1: be able to monde your truck and do whatever you want,
- 7:25Speaker 1: have a good time with it. When I lived at Geneva,
- 7:27Speaker 1: every other vehicle was one of these was one of
- 7:29Speaker 1: these lifted trucks.
- 7:31Speaker 5: Uh.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But there is some movement out there on some legislation
- 7:34Speaker 1: to possibly, you know, consider you know, at least tuning
- 7:38Speaker 1: it or toning it down so that it is not
- 7:41Speaker 1: so dangerous, like if you ran in Like it's not
- 7:43Speaker 1: a like if we got into a record, if you
- 7:46Speaker 1: guys ran in each other'd be bumper to bumper. But
- 7:48Speaker 1: if deb got into a car crash with one of
- 7:50Speaker 1: these trucks, I mean, she would be hitting their axle
- 7:52Speaker 1: or they're you know, their their transfer case. You know,
- 7:55Speaker 1: it would be it'd be gnarly.
- 7:56Speaker 6: The carbon conflibulate, it.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Would go right under the truck.
- 8:00Speaker 8: It's that's how we got what is it, the Mansfield bar. Yeah, yes,
- 8:05Speaker 8: in the back of a truck to prevent vehicles from
- 8:08Speaker 8: completely going under the back ass end of a truck.
- 8:11Speaker 1: For tractor trailers. Yeah right. But the thing is is
- 8:13Speaker 1: a lot of these pickup trucks are taller than tractor trailers, right,
- 8:15Speaker 1: Like the back of them is actually taller than tractor
- 8:18Speaker 1: would be. How would you handle like the cyber truck,
- 8:20Speaker 1: the you know, the Tesla cyber truck is it's seven
- 8:24Speaker 1: thousand pounds, but it's big from the out of factory,
- 8:28Speaker 1: you know, you can't.
- 8:29Speaker 5: But it's not lifted though, right dude, tell yeah, we're
- 8:33Speaker 5: talking about the trucks. Withere the bumper is like face high. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 5: you have to have a little ladder to get into it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So you're just saying a limit on how much you
- 8:39Speaker 1: can lift the vehicle. Yeah, because what happens, is what
- 8:41Speaker 1: they're saying is is it puts that bumper right in
- 8:44Speaker 1: the in the position where if a little vehicle like yours,
- 8:47Speaker 1: like you guys, were to run under the car, the
- 8:50Speaker 1: bumper would really be out of play. It's gonna the
- 8:52Speaker 1: bumper would pay right exactly. The bumper is really more
- 8:55Speaker 1: of a danger than it has a help.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Somebody just texted us another really good point at seven
- 8:59Speaker 4: to seven zero three.
- 9:00Speaker 1: One.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Squatting is also dangerous for.
- 9:02Speaker 4: The driver of the truck at night because the headlights
- 9:05Speaker 4: don't point at the road, they just point up to
- 9:07Speaker 4: the sky.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but it looks cool and when you're sitting back
- 9:11Speaker 1: even a few degrees. I remember when I first saw
- 9:13Speaker 1: one of these trucks, They're like, even when you're sitting
- 9:15Speaker 1: back a few degrees that theoretically you could pull up
- 9:19Speaker 1: to a stoplight and not like and not know somebody's
- 9:21Speaker 1: in front of you, exactly like somebody could walk in
- 9:23Speaker 1: front of you and you would not have any idea
- 9:25Speaker 1: that somebody's there because you simply can't see. Now.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Yeah, they're also say they're totally blind cornering.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Oh really, I've never driven one. I've actually never even
- 9:33Speaker 1: ridden in one that's squatted down like that. I've been
- 9:36Speaker 1: in a lifted truck before, but nothing like that.
- 9:38Speaker 3: I just saw some pictures.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Now, I've been in a lifted truck before, because you
- 9:41Speaker 4: can't go properly mudding.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, you got to have a.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Truck with the right tires, which means you're gonna have
- 9:47Speaker 4: to have a ladder to get into that truck. Some
- 9:49Speaker 4: of these Carolina Squad trucks, it looks like they're putting
- 9:52Speaker 4: twenty four or thirties on the front and smaller wheels
- 9:54Speaker 4: on the back. It almost looks like the back bumpers
- 9:57Speaker 4: dragging on the ground.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I haven't seen one that bad yet, but I've seen.
- 9:59Speaker 4: The Carolina Squad in your Google search and see what
- 10:02Speaker 4: you get real close.
- 10:05Speaker 5: I am.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Putting Town or Carolina Squat in my search.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Well, it's research. It's Carolina, not Carolline.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Nick, the porn tomorrow and pe Town is
- 10:18Speaker 4: just the letter yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, don't spell it
- 10:21Speaker 4: out no, and some of these even have hydraulics that
- 10:23Speaker 4: will left the bed of the truck off the front,
- 10:26Speaker 4: just off the front.
- 10:27Speaker 1: It says that when one user pointed out front windshield
- 10:30Speaker 1: tent and tires extended beyond fenders is already illegal in
- 10:33Speaker 1: most states, suggesting that some of these modifications may already
- 10:36Speaker 1: violate exist existing regulations.
- 10:39Speaker 4: You know what, I'm wondering, where do you have all
- 10:42Speaker 4: this extra money? Because from those photos, I just saw
- 10:44Speaker 4: if Carolina Squad not one of those modifications is cheap. Well,
- 10:48Speaker 4: the wheels, the tires alone, and.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I'm sure we can get some texts out there seven
- 10:52Speaker 1: seven zero three to one from the good old boys,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Like there's a jeep place out on the east side
- 10:55Speaker 1: of town called, I think jeep Den, the jeepers Den,
- 10:58Speaker 1: and that's what they do. They customize all kinds of
- 11:00Speaker 1: jeeps and they do these rock crawling jeeps and they're fun.
- 11:02Speaker 1: It's really cool. Oh yeah, I've actually considered building one myself,
- 11:05Speaker 1: like a lot of fun. But the pickup trucks we're
- 11:08Speaker 1: talking about, I think those lift kits alone get into
- 11:11Speaker 1: the two and three thousand dollars four thousand dollars range.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And then when you start adding the lights and all
- 11:14Speaker 1: the other fun stuff under there, you're right. I mean
- 11:16Speaker 1: you could have a pickup truck that costs like seventy
- 11:18Speaker 1: k already and then put another twenty in it, just
- 11:21Speaker 1: in like stuff.
- 11:21Speaker 3: What kind of job do you have?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Mm?
- 11:24Speaker 1: Does my kid? Do I sign them up for a
- 11:26Speaker 1: five two nine? Or do I look cool? Or do
- 11:29Speaker 1: I look cool? At the Muster truck show? Are am
- 11:30Speaker 1: I gonna?
- 11:31Speaker 5: You know what I really want to see? I've never
- 11:33Speaker 5: seen this as a lifted truck with proportional truck nuts
- 11:37Speaker 5: like old man truck nuts.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I've only seen the one.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Size fit all yeah, yeah, truck higher truck nuts.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I don't think you can do the truck nuts anymore.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Right, somebody saw a squatter take out of Ferrari in Vegas?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Oh man, yeah, yeah, Oh.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I would not want that insurance bill?
- 11:52Speaker 1: All right? Does seven seven zero three one? That's how
- 11:55Speaker 1: you text us? Call us easily at four seven nine
- 11:57Speaker 1: one six one. You're three o'clock keyword dollar that's d

- 12:36Speaker 1: What do you go for? News wise, as we're going
- 12:38Speaker 1: to talk.
- 12:38Speaker 4: About a loan Republican, a loan Florida Republican opposed the
- 12:43Speaker 4: reopening bill. Wait to hear why a sheriff says a
- 12:47Speaker 4: judge's sentencing decision makes her unfit for office. And it's
- 12:51Speaker 4: a sheriff we all know very very well, and not
- 12:54Speaker 4: Betty Boop. We'll talk about that and more coming up
- 12:58Speaker 4: next during JCS News.

- 13:25Speaker 5: Oh?
- 13:25Speaker 12: Now I'll start dogging on Jack's Toyota. That thing is
- 13:29Speaker 12: El Primo and it does bear the Toyota brand. Financity
- 13:34Speaker 12: hicle on the road again. That uh, when the truck
- 13:39Speaker 12: is lifted in the front low in the back, that's
- 13:42Speaker 12: called bulldogging. It's about the lamest thing out there.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Hello.
- 13:50Speaker 7: Hey, I had a buddy in Denver swore up and
- 13:53Speaker 7: down he had a low rider. Turns out he just
- 13:57Speaker 7: needed shocks and struts. There's just something things out and
- 14:00Speaker 7: be done to a Volkswagen Beatle anyway, keep the rubberside down, y'all.

- 14:14Speaker 1: one thousand bucks. I'm Jim, Jack and Ross are right
- 14:18Speaker 1: over there, and Deb has your news.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It's time for JCS news.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Wow, this guy got to put his name on everything.
- 14:29Speaker 1: It's in my contract ed.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Here's the news on the Jim Colber.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Show, and as always, JCS news is brought to you
- 14:36Speaker 4: by that mortgage guy, Don all Right. Sarasota Congressman Greg
- 14:40Speaker 4: Stuby says he couldn't support what he calls quote a
- 14:43Speaker 4: garbage resolution end quote to end the federal government shutdown.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Stuby was the only Republican from Florida to vote against
- 14:51Speaker 4: the bill, arguing it included a legal provision. Pay attention
- 14:55Speaker 4: to this part allowing senators to sue the Justice Department
- 14:59Speaker 4: using taxpayer dollars. The measure pass was support from both
- 15:03Speaker 4: Florida senators and nineteen of the state's House Republicans, while
- 15:06Speaker 4: all eight Democrats voted no the legislation. This is the
- 15:09Speaker 4: part of keeping the government open, keeps the government funded
- 15:12Speaker 4: through next January, restores pay for federal workers, and adds
- 15:16Speaker 4: money for food assistants, but excludes Obamacare subsidies. Yesterday, a
- 15:20Speaker 4: federal judge ruled that the Trump administration cannot force states
- 15:23Speaker 4: to undo their delivery of snap benefits, so that legal
- 15:27Speaker 4: provision would allow these nineteen senators whose.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Data was elected nineteen or eight.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Maybe it's eight.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I thought it was just the eight of them,
- 15:37Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley and a few.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Other Senator Rick Scott during the called Arctic frost, right
- 15:44Speaker 4: during the Biden administration. So they're going to be allowed
- 15:47Speaker 4: to take five hundred thousand dollars of taxpayer money to
- 15:50Speaker 4: sue the Justice Department because you know, Rick Scott has
- 15:52Speaker 4: no money.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to open open them up to be
- 15:55Speaker 1: able to do that. And that's that's per count. What
- 15:59Speaker 1: that's per count could be millions. Yeah, So it's disgusting.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Again when we heard Greg Stuby talking about this while
- 16:07Speaker 4: we were getting ready for the show, and he was like,
- 16:09Speaker 4: this is unbelievable that during a time when we're trying
- 16:12Speaker 4: to pass an appropriations bill, they're talking about ripping millions
- 16:16Speaker 4: of dollars away from American taxpayers so the senators can
- 16:19Speaker 4: sue the Justice Department.
- 16:20Speaker 1: That's a piece today saying how it was a conversation
- 16:23Speaker 1: about Tommy Tuberville and they were saying, just what a
- 16:25Speaker 1: terrible look this was, Just what an awful look it
- 16:28Speaker 1: is and apparently something it's going to stick to him
- 16:30Speaker 1: like a you know, like sticky booker.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, it was Stuby and Massey who voted against that.
- 16:36Speaker 3: All right, Secretaries, huh.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Sticky bugs, stacky bugs. It's like fighting of an alien.
- 16:45Speaker 1: They got to wipe it on something, right, You're just careful.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Jack or Ross.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Secretary of Homeland Security Christy Nome is praising TSA agents
- 16:53Speaker 4: for their work during the longest government shutdown in US history.
- 16:56Speaker 4: During a press conference today, Nome says agents stepped up,
- 17:00Speaker 4: been showed outstanding quote patriotism and service.
- 17:03Speaker 13: We are going to not only continue their paychecks like
- 17:06Speaker 13: they should have received all along, but also they're going
- 17:09Speaker 13: to get a bonus check for stepping up, taking on
- 17:12Speaker 13: extra shifts, for showing up each and every day, for
- 17:14Speaker 13: serving the American people.
- 17:16Speaker 4: She handed out ten thousand dollars bonuses for agents who
- 17:19Speaker 4: worked as the shutdown rolled on. The FAA has frozen
- 17:22Speaker 4: flight reductions now that the shutdown is over, but the
- 17:25Speaker 4: FAA says it's going to monitor staffing levels as controllers
- 17:28Speaker 4: start to receive their back pay. However, issues remain, as
- 17:31Speaker 4: nearly one thousand flights have been canceled and over eight
- 17:34Speaker 4: hundred have been delayed today and that's at last check now. Meanwhile,
- 17:39Speaker 4: an airline trade group is calling for air travel protection
- 17:42Speaker 4: in case of a future shutdown. Airlines for America issued
- 17:46Speaker 4: a statement on Wednesday saying, quote, we implore Congress to
- 17:49Speaker 4: ensure future funding bills do not allow aviation to become
- 17:53Speaker 4: collateral damage in Washington's policy debates end quote. The group's
- 17:57Speaker 4: statement also addressed the quote significant strain and quote on
- 18:00Speaker 4: travelers and employees while highlighting, oh here go, my flake's
- 18:06Speaker 4: getting crossed again, while highlighting the FAA's five billion dollar
- 18:11Speaker 4: trust fund, which it says could be used to pay
- 18:16Speaker 4: air traffic controllers during future shutdowns.
- 18:20Speaker 1: In other words, they could have been doing it this time.
- 18:22Speaker 1: They could have been doing it this time.
- 18:23Speaker 6: Five billion dollars.
- 18:26Speaker 4: And flight disruptions continue across Florida's busiest airports even after
- 18:30Speaker 4: the shutdown ended. According to flight Aware, Fort Lauderdale reported
- 18:33Speaker 4: eighteen delays twenty cancelations, Miami has thirty nine delays seventeen cancelations.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Back up, y'all, Orlando.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Leads with thirty two delays and forty one cancelations. Step aside,
- 18:44Speaker 4: Tampa shows nine delays and twenty two cancelations, and again,
- 18:48Speaker 4: FAA says it's going to continue to monitor staffing. All right,
- 18:51Speaker 4: Vlucia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood is not happy what they
- 18:55Speaker 4: judge sentencing.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I got this story decision. Sorry, no, no, no, it's fine.
- 18:58Speaker 4: After one of his school resource deputies was attacked by a.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Parent last year, I'm on his side.
- 19:04Speaker 4: According to the sheriff, forty seven year old Jorge Rivera
- 19:07Speaker 4: and his wife attacked his deputy at Deltona Middle School
- 19:10Speaker 4: in twenty twenty four and took her taser.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Here's just a little bit about what he had to say.
- 19:15Speaker 1: The place was chaos because of what they did.
- 19:22Speaker 14: If somebody comes up and sticks their finger right in
- 19:25Speaker 14: your face and then you swatted away all of a sudden,
- 19:27Speaker 14: you're the person who was the instigator.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:30Speaker 4: So, Sheriff Chitwood accused Circuit Judge Kathleen McNeely of blaming
- 19:34Speaker 4: the deputy for the incident.
- 19:35Speaker 3: He says she's unfit for office.
- 19:37Speaker 4: After giving Rivera just forty five days in county jail,
- 19:40Speaker 4: no felony, conviction, no probation. Chitwood is urging residents to
- 19:45Speaker 4: vote the judge out in twenty twenty eight.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Dude, it is ridiculous when you look at this case.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I looked at this morning. He was one of the
- 19:50Speaker 1: first things I read. I was like, got get out
- 19:52Speaker 1: of here. Like literally, that guy accosted a cop. She
- 19:54Speaker 1: had to pull her gun on both of them. Yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 1: because he had had her taser. She had to draw
- 19:59Speaker 1: down on these too.
- 20:00Speaker 3: And that's again him they're coming to compliance.
- 20:02Speaker 4: So they had gone to school, they went to a
- 20:04Speaker 4: parent teacher conference and apparently things got out of control
- 20:08Speaker 4: and the father walked up to the deputy and just
- 20:10Speaker 4: shoved his finger in her face, and as you would
- 20:12Speaker 4: normally do, she swatted it away, and that's when all
- 20:15Speaker 4: hell broke lose. He got a hold of her taser,
- 20:17Speaker 4: and as Jimmy just said, she had to draw her
- 20:19Speaker 4: service revolver, her service weapon to actually get them to
- 20:23Speaker 4: comply with her orders.
- 20:24Speaker 1: That's why she can when you heard her yelling drop it,
- 20:26Speaker 1: she is drawn down on them. She is getting him
- 20:28Speaker 1: to drop the weapon that he pulled against an officer
- 20:30Speaker 1: of the law while doing her job. And the judge
- 20:34Speaker 1: gave him forty five days. They wanted ten years. For
- 20:39Speaker 1: the record. There's a parent in the parent teacher conferends
- 20:43Speaker 1: going like, h.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Teacher, you can do that.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yeah. The teacher's very confusing, all right.
- 20:50Speaker 4: A Bavar County woman who was fired over social media
- 20:53Speaker 4: posts about Charlie Kirk, assuing her former employer, Erica Santo's,
- 20:57Speaker 4: filed a federal lawsuit yesterday against against Eastern Florida State College.
- 21:01Speaker 4: The school fired her last month from her job and
- 21:03Speaker 4: accounting and grant compliance over her Facebook post after Kirk's assassination.
- 21:08Speaker 4: The ACLU is representing Santos, and they tell The Orlando
- 21:11Speaker 4: Sentinel the firing violated her free speech rights and she's
- 21:14Speaker 4: not alone. The Florida State Board of Education is listening
- 21:18Speaker 4: to a school board member explain her online post about
- 21:21Speaker 4: Charlie Kirk's death. Alatchiwa County School board member Tina Certain's
- 21:25Speaker 4: Facebook post called Kirk quote an uneducated white boy who's
- 21:29Speaker 4: been glorified.
- 21:30Speaker 1: As a subjective.
- 21:31Speaker 3: You have your feelings as to what you think is appropriate.
- 21:34Speaker 1: And I have mine. You all elevated mister Kirk. He's
- 21:36Speaker 1: not a hero on my community.
- 21:38Speaker 4: She defended her comments as protected speech, not a racial animus.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Certain admitted her personal Facebook post was poorly worded, but
- 21:46Speaker 4: it doesn't change the reality of Kirk's rhetoric. The Board
- 21:49Speaker 4: of Education's investigation of her continues. She also explained that
- 21:53Speaker 4: the school district is paying for her legal representation. All right,
- 21:57Speaker 4: back in Vlusha County, an incident there is an egg
- 22:00Speaker 4: example of the sad reality the effect drugs have in
- 22:03Speaker 4: our community. That's what Sheriff Mike Chipwood wrote yesterday on
- 22:06Speaker 4: Facebook about what happened Tuesday and Edgewater deputy say an.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Eight year old boy oh Man.
- 22:13Speaker 4: An eight year old boy had to use narcan to
- 22:16Speaker 4: revive his father, who had overdosed on heroin. Daniel Johnson
- 22:21Speaker 4: was taken to the hospital before being booked into the
- 22:23Speaker 4: county jail. He's charged with child neglect, contributing to the
- 22:27Speaker 4: delinquency of a minor, and possession of drug paale Finalia
- 22:30Speaker 4: Chitwood says, the boy's courage undoubtedly saved his dad's life,
- 22:34Speaker 4: but it's tragic he has to experience such trauma at
- 22:37Speaker 4: such a young age.
- 22:38Speaker 1: How did he know how to use it? How crazy
- 22:40Speaker 1: is that? That's the first thing I thought, I an
- 22:42Speaker 1: eight year old knows how to use narchan? You can't
- 22:45Speaker 1: write in cursive? Yeah?
- 22:47Speaker 5: What sadder? Using the narcan or the robbable conversation that
- 22:51Speaker 5: had happened.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, with either either family members or school or
- 22:56Speaker 4: I mean.
- 22:57Speaker 1: When Deetty gives his Narkhan if he passes out, you
- 22:59Speaker 1: give Deddy the other in oar cam.
- 23:00Speaker 6: Yeah, that that probably is the case.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Well, the suspect on last weekends deadly crash and Ebor
- 23:06Speaker 4: City will stay behind bars. Judge Christopher Sabella granted bond
- 23:10Speaker 4: on six of the charges against Silas Sampson, but not
- 23:14Speaker 4: on the key charges.
- 23:15Speaker 15: The most important thing is that he is being held
- 23:17Speaker 15: with no bond pending trial on the four counts of
- 23:21Speaker 15: the hicul or homicide.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Now.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Prosecutors added new charges Wednesday and could file more when
- 23:26Speaker 4: toxicology results come back. The arrest report says the twenty
- 23:29Speaker 4: two year old suspect had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and
- 23:32Speaker 4: smelled of alcohol. Investigator say Sampson was driving up to
- 23:36Speaker 4: one hundred miles per hour before the crash early Saturday.
- 23:40Speaker 4: The judge granted a request to hold him without bail
- 23:43Speaker 4: as the case moves forward.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Silas Samson, by the way, you are going to be
- 23:47Speaker 5: a villain.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna say thank Yeah, he certainly is. He
- 23:50Speaker 4: killed four people on you know, if you.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Have that name you have to live in an ice cave.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Yeah, like it is has the Marvel alliteration like Peter Parker,
- 23:59Speaker 5: like right there.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Your house has bats. I don't know. You couldn't be
- 24:03Speaker 1: like an attorney from the eighteen hundred. Ooh, that's a
- 24:06Speaker 1: good one, ne West.
- 24:07Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, but in twenty twenty five. No, man,
- 24:10Speaker 5: you are a bad person.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, you could also be a heroin addicted trumpet player.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Go ahead, you.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Sure, yes, yeah, okay, these next stories.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Man, maybe you don't agree with the death penalty, and
- 24:24Speaker 4: maybe you do after I do these stories, right. A
- 24:27Speaker 4: convicted killer from central Florida will be put to death
- 24:30Speaker 4: today by the State of Florida. Brian Frederick Jennings is
- 24:34Speaker 4: set to die by lethal injection. The sixty six year
- 24:36Speaker 4: old was convicted of kidnapping, raping, and killing a six
- 24:39Speaker 4: year old girl back in nineteen seventy nine. He was
- 24:42Speaker 4: a twenty year old marine at the time and home
- 24:45Speaker 4: on leave from Japan. This will be Florida's sixteenth execution
- 24:49Speaker 4: this year. Two more are scheduled now. In the meantime,
- 24:52Speaker 4: a Hernando County grand jury has indicted thirty six year
- 24:55Speaker 4: old Nathan Holmberg on twenty five criminal charges. Wait, do
- 24:59Speaker 4: you hear the details on this guy's case, including seven
- 25:02Speaker 4: counts of capital sexual battery on a child under twelve.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier says, while the investigation is
- 25:08Speaker 4: still ongoing, the state plans to seek the death penalty
- 25:11Speaker 4: in this case as well.
- 25:13Speaker 16: I believe that crimes like this against young children, where
- 25:17Speaker 16: you take their innocence, you take their childhood away from them,
- 25:22Speaker 16: these horrific acts deserve the ultimate form of justice.
- 25:25Speaker 4: Now, it'll be interesting to see if they're able to
- 25:28Speaker 4: do that because the Supreme Court has ruled in past
- 25:31Speaker 4: cases that capital punishment cannot be applied to these crimes.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Why.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I don't know, but.
- 25:37Speaker 4: It will be interesting to see if the State of
- 25:39Speaker 4: Florida will be able to actually go through with this.
- 25:41Speaker 4: But this is the part that's so infuriating. Holmberg was
- 25:45Speaker 4: arrested in twenty twelve for a similar offense in Jacksonville. Unfortunately,
- 25:50Speaker 4: the only evidence they could get him on would be
- 25:52Speaker 4: child abuse, so he pled guilty to child abuse, served
- 25:55Speaker 4: five years of probation, and was never designated as a
- 25:59Speaker 4: sexual offender or predator, so he wasn't on anybody's radar,
- 26:03Speaker 4: and then he's allowed to move to Hernando County and
- 26:05Speaker 4: basically do the exact same things there. When detectives searched
- 26:09Speaker 4: his phone and asked him if he had downloaded any
- 26:12Speaker 4: child porn, his answer was no, I make my own.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 26:18Speaker 4: According to the AG's office, more charges could follow.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Wow right, yeah, yeah.
- 26:24Speaker 5: Whenever I hear that, just like someone you know, getting
- 26:28Speaker 5: out of justice's way. It's just the sad reaction is
- 26:32Speaker 5: like how much money did he have?
- 26:34Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 26:34Speaker 3: They just didn't have.
- 26:36Speaker 4: They didn't have the evidence to actually get him on
- 26:39Speaker 4: child porn charges.
- 26:40Speaker 3: They could only get him on child abuse.
- 26:42Speaker 6: But then he gets months of probation for.
- 26:45Speaker 4: You five years served, his five years of probation, moves
- 26:48Speaker 4: to another part of the state on no FDL E radar.
- 26:52Speaker 4: No sheriff had to go make sure that he had
- 26:54Speaker 4: registered with them.
- 26:55Speaker 3: He had no record, They had no.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Reason to be looking at this guy, and he's only
- 26:59Speaker 4: thirty six.
- 27:00Speaker 5: I'm just so used to whenever I see the punishment
- 27:02Speaker 5: not serving the crime fitting the crime, I'm like, yeah,
- 27:05Speaker 5: well that's what happens when you like I just would
- 27:08Speaker 5: love to know what his wealth status.
- 27:11Speaker 10: Was.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 8: Interesting when it comes to adult porn of consenting adults.
- 27:16Speaker 8: Do you think AI will make that business unnecessary?
- 27:24Speaker 5: No?
- 27:24Speaker 1: I mean I think people still want to see people.
- 27:27Speaker 8: You know, but you saw the AI actress, right, Yeah.
- 27:31Speaker 8: If they made an AI scene and it looks like
- 27:34Speaker 8: it's real people.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I mean, here's the thing, Like, would I watch it
- 27:37Speaker 1: to see if it's like if it holds up to
- 27:40Speaker 1: other Yeah, I mean I think it'd be kind of interesting. Actually.
- 27:42Speaker 1: By the way, a lot but it only.
- 27:45Speaker 8: Takes me like six days of figured out I could
- 27:47Speaker 8: it take the stigma out of porn if it's not,
- 27:50Speaker 8: you know, contributing.
- 27:52Speaker 1: To the Yeah, let me do that. I understand what
- 27:56Speaker 1: you're saying. In other words, you can get the porn
- 27:58Speaker 1: without the downfall of what it does to the people, right, yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 5: Go Does it replace it with a different stigma?
- 28:03Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:04Speaker 4: By the way, a lot of texters letting us know
- 28:06Speaker 4: at seven seven zero three one that the dad told
- 28:09Speaker 4: the eight year old what to do if something happened
- 28:11Speaker 4: to him after he's injected himself.
- 28:13Speaker 9: There you go.
- 28:14Speaker 3: All right.
- 28:15Speaker 4: I talked about this before, but I'm bringing it up
- 28:17Speaker 4: again because the deadlines tomorrow and I don't want anyone
- 28:20Speaker 4: to miss out on it. And that's a city in
- 28:22Speaker 4: Seminole County has a new way to honor its military
- 28:24Speaker 4: service members. The Winter Springs Veterans Banner Program is going
- 28:27Speaker 4: to include displaying commemorative banners on designated streets to honor
- 28:31Speaker 4: local vets. So applications with photos can be submitted, but
- 28:35Speaker 4: that's only through tomorrow, November fourteenth. You can get more
- 28:38Speaker 4: info at Winter springsfl dot org. And then we're still
- 28:44Speaker 4: keeping an eye on this. It should be just a
- 28:45Speaker 4: few minutes away. But Blue Origin is trying to launch
- 28:47Speaker 4: a mission to Mars after back to back weather delays.
- 28:50Speaker 4: The new Glen rocket was supposed to blast off Wednesday
- 28:53Speaker 4: afternoon with two Mars orbiters. However, intense solar storms forced
- 28:57Speaker 4: the second delay of the week. NASA also scrubs Sundays
- 29:00Speaker 4: planned launch due to bad weather at Cape Canaveral. Today's
- 29:03Speaker 4: launch is now scheduled for three forty five pm.
- 29:06Speaker 8: So they just had a brief hold which they come
- 29:08Speaker 8: out of. We are going to be watching this on
- 29:10Speaker 8: our YouTube stream, so you can see it there. And
- 29:12Speaker 8: right now it looks that three point fifty five is
- 29:15Speaker 8: the new one.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Oh wow, Okay, a little bit Earli there yeah, go
- 29:18Speaker 3: and check it out.
- 29:18Speaker 4: And then finally, another beloved cartoon character now in the
- 29:22Speaker 4: public domain, is getting the horror movie treatments.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Betty Boop, the.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Iconic nineteen thirties flapper girl, is being turned into a
- 29:33Speaker 4: gruesome villain by vm I Worldwide.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Oh ra.
- 29:37Speaker 4: The creators are calling their upcoming film a quote true
- 29:40Speaker 4: testament to feminism. Oh yeah end quote, as well as
- 29:46Speaker 4: a quote wildly violent, ridiculously fun ride end quote.
- 29:51Speaker 1: There you go.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Other characters who've been put into horror movies since entering
- 29:54Speaker 4: public domain include Winnie the Pooh, Mickey.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Mouse, and Popeye.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Here you and y.
- 30:00Speaker 3: That concludes your jsime.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Wow, all right, seven seven zero three one, and that's
- 30:09Speaker 5: how you text us your three o'clock.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Heyword is dollar d O L L A R. Slide
- 30:14Speaker 1: over to Real Radio dot FM and send that away
- 30:16Speaker 1: for your chance at one thousand dollars. Up next, the
- 30:18Speaker 1: Froggers Football Forecast.
- 30:22Speaker 2: It's time for the Froggers football Forecast on the Jim
- 30:26Speaker 2: Colbert Show.
- 30:27Speaker 1: That's right, it is time for the Froggers Football Forecast
- 30:29Speaker 1: right here on Real Radio one oh four point one,

- 30:44Speaker 1: everything in between. Delicious food from their wonderful pizzas like
- 30:49Speaker 1: we had today all the we up to Perogi's and
- 30:51Speaker 1: one of the best cheese steak subs in all of
- 30:53Speaker 1: Central Florida.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Cold beer, cool people. Can't lose it Froggers. If you
- 30:58Speaker 5: want wings, they got them too. That's in understood for sure.
- 31:04Speaker 1: All right, So this is when we go around the room,
- 31:07Speaker 1: we kind of choose the Florida teams and then of
- 31:09Speaker 1: course our favorite teams. And by the way, like you know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: we had a big stink last week. Somebody said, well,
- 31:14Speaker 1: if you change your pick, you know, we're out here
- 31:16Speaker 1: gambling with you. I mean, we have the ability to
- 31:18Speaker 1: change our picks. I mean there's a big injury or
- 31:20Speaker 1: something happens, you know, we think it's gonna cost the game,
- 31:22Speaker 1: and we can do that for sure. We're trying to
- 31:24Speaker 1: win against each other here.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Yeah, well we'll let you know on Tuesday, you know,
- 31:28Speaker 8: if we made any changes.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I don't know that we should do
- 31:31Speaker 1: anything with the game, so that we go ahead.
- 31:32Speaker 5: It's a sampling, we only get. We're only talking about
- 31:35Speaker 5: a few games.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, so we're not gonna talk about
- 31:37Speaker 1: tonight because it's the Jets and the Patriots. Who I mean,
- 31:41Speaker 1: we don't have a dog in that hunt, and the
- 31:43Speaker 1: Patriots like should just literally boat race these guys. They should.
- 31:47Speaker 1: It's a thirteen point spread, yeah in New England. So
- 31:50Speaker 1: this is what we call a trap game.
- 31:52Speaker 5: Yeah, and I real note, real quick note to the
- 31:55Speaker 5: Patriots fans.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You don't deserve this, this fact. You really don't correct.
- 31:59Speaker 5: You guys still suck, and you guys getta just quickly.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Everyone re hate, you got good hate. I gotta tell
- 32:07Speaker 1: you what. You don't think Belichick's angling for this? Do you?
- 32:11Speaker 1: You don't think he likes this? Do you?
- 32:13Speaker 5: All of this just sucks.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Man.
- 32:15Speaker 5: You should have had at least two decades of abysmal
- 32:19Speaker 5: subpar football.
- 32:20Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, yeah, I think four the last time the
- 32:23Speaker 8: Raiders were in the Super Bowl. Yeah yeah, you gotta
- 32:25Speaker 8: wait a bit, You got to put your time in.
- 32:26Speaker 8: All right, let's get over to the Dolphins. Commanders it's
- 32:29Speaker 8: in Miami.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Of course, Miami had a really surprised win last week
- 32:33Speaker 1: against the Buffalo Bills. Commanders do not have their quarterback,
- 32:37Speaker 1: he's out. I mean, I'm taking the Dolphins here just
- 32:40Speaker 1: because the you know, fins up, Yeah, fins up, friends up, Dolphins, Dolphins.
- 32:46Speaker 5: There's not many games where they will be favorites.
- 32:48Speaker 15: Now.
- 32:48Speaker 5: It is predicted to be a very close matchup. It's
- 32:51Speaker 5: a two and a half point spread.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Going with the Dolphins.
- 32:53Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm going with the Dolph Yeah for sure.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Hey, look this isn't in there, but I'm just interested
- 32:57Speaker 1: to see what Ross thinks about this. The Panthers of
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Falcons.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Ross, what do you think about it?
- 33:01Speaker 1: That's a yeah national Well, time out, time out. Ross.
- 33:05Speaker 5: You don't.
- 33:06Speaker 1: My client does not have to answer to this. You
- 33:08Speaker 1: lesh up. You're probably gonna follow his picks too.
- 33:11Speaker 8: Just because he ran the table last week one at all.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Does not mean you guys get to cheat off of
- 33:16Speaker 1: his paper. What's crazy is in our pick it says
- 33:19Speaker 1: that the Falcons. That people are taking the Falcons even
- 33:21Speaker 1: though the Panthers are playing pretty good football.
- 33:23Speaker 5: And it's in Atlanta, and I am going I'm leaning
- 33:26Speaker 5: towards Falcons there. They've had a really weird year. It's
- 33:31Speaker 5: not like they've gotten blown out many times that I
- 33:34Speaker 5: can remember. They're a good football teams. They just don't
- 33:36Speaker 5: know how to win.
- 33:37Speaker 1: And it's been that story for a long time. I
- 33:39Speaker 1: mean going back to the Super Bowl and they lost,
- 33:41Speaker 1: you know, after a twenty one point lead going to
- 33:42Speaker 1: the fourth quarter or whatever it was.
- 33:44Speaker 6: They're an odd team.
- 33:45Speaker 8: Falcons one in four in their last five games. Yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 8: they only won one in their lives.
- 33:49Speaker 1: That's why I'm taking the Panthers. Are playing good football.
- 33:51Speaker 1: I'm taking the Panthers there. Buccaneers Bills. This is an
- 33:56Speaker 1: interesting game of Bills coming off a terrible embarrassing loss
- 33:58Speaker 1: to the Miami Dolphins. You know, the Bucks are dealing
- 34:01Speaker 1: with some major injury issues. Still a very viable football team.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It did lose last week going into Buffalo.
- 34:08Speaker 5: I got bad news all around. Yeah, yeah, I think
- 34:11Speaker 5: Buffalo wins this nine out of ten weeks this week.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I do too. I think coming off the pissed
- 34:16Speaker 1: off moment, I'm going with the Bills here as well.
- 34:17Speaker 1: This is the second week in a row picked against
- 34:20Speaker 1: my Bucks.
- 34:21Speaker 8: Russ had nine out of ten weeks. Would this be
- 34:24Speaker 8: the one out of ten?
- 34:25Speaker 3: Are you saying, hey, my client doesn't need to like paper.
- 34:30Speaker 5: I think we're assuming he's taking the bills. He did
- 34:32Speaker 5: not say he's taking the he's taking the bills. He
- 34:35Speaker 5: said the nine out of ten times he's taking them
- 34:40Speaker 5: and taking the bills. In one of those nine times
- 34:42Speaker 5: is this weekend he's taking the bill?
- 34:44Speaker 1: Hits the bills? All right, bills another gi Really, Actually,
- 34:47Speaker 1: there are a lot of really good football games this week.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Chargers go into Jacksonville to take on the Jags. They have,
- 34:53Speaker 1: you know, the Chargers seven and three, Jags five and four. Again,
- 34:56Speaker 1: another odd five and four. But didn't they just lose? Yeah?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Travis Hunters out for the seasons. Out for the season. Yeah,
- 35:02Speaker 1: it's not like he was.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Making a huge impact week in week out, but he
- 35:05Speaker 5: was a you know, exciting thing that he got to
- 35:07Speaker 5: look forward to.
- 35:08Speaker 1: The defense had to pay attention to him.
- 35:09Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's not like he was putting up MVP.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, snap pounds.
- 35:15Speaker 5: God is that great.
- 35:16Speaker 8: I'm gonna continue my season long effort of picking against
- 35:21Speaker 8: the Jaguars.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Okay, well I'm picking the Chargers there as well. I
- 35:23Speaker 1: just think they're too good of.
- 35:24Speaker 5: A football team, Ross, did you pick again? Our client
- 35:28Speaker 5: doesn't have to answer the question. I am going with
- 35:31Speaker 5: who I see going all the way to the AFC Championship.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I'm going Chargers.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, all right, it's okay. The next game is
- 35:38Speaker 4: because I know you picked the Bears. I'm going with
- 35:40Speaker 4: the Vikings.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's a Bear. I've got the Bears
- 35:43Speaker 1: there as well, can't Okay, Green Bay going into New York.
- 35:47Speaker 1: New York just fired their head coach. I took the
- 35:49Speaker 1: Vikings do have a very exciting quarterback. But the Packers
- 35:53Speaker 1: five three and one, Giants two and eight.
- 35:55Speaker 3: I don't like that record.
- 35:56Speaker 1: But you know, how does that go? Ross? Didn't you
- 35:58Speaker 1: tell me one time we spoke about how teams react
- 36:01Speaker 1: after they lose a coach, like it's surprising that they
- 36:04Speaker 1: they actually play pretty well. But next week, well, I
- 36:06Speaker 1: mean think about it in the sense.
- 36:07Speaker 5: Of trying to draw up a game plan for a
- 36:10Speaker 5: new player, right or a new coach. They're going to
- 36:13Speaker 5: go about things maybe slightly different. There's a new guy
- 36:16Speaker 5: driving the car, so uh, it's it's just always it's
- 36:20Speaker 5: honestly kind of unpredictable.
- 36:21Speaker 6: If if I see a match.
- 36:23Speaker 5: If I'm gambling and there's a new coach, honestly, I
- 36:25Speaker 5: would probably run away from it. Yeah, just because it's unpredictable.
- 36:29Speaker 5: You don't know you like the Packers here, I do. Yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 5: and they're giants is riddled with injuries.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 4: To mention, the Packers just got their ass handed to
- 36:39Speaker 4: them Monday night. So they've got a loss, they're gonna
- 36:41Speaker 4: want to avenge.
- 36:42Speaker 5: Well, I mean they got their ass handed into like
- 36:45Speaker 5: in the sense that they didn't nothing was entertaining that night.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It was a terrible game.
- 36:49Speaker 5: It was like five to four. If you watch the game,
- 36:53Speaker 5: all they did Joe Buck and Troy a mean, we
- 36:55Speaker 5: would tell you what an entertaining, low scoring game it was.
- 36:58Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, and then we'll do these last two.
- 37:01Speaker 1: They really don't have teams that we're paying attention to,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but they are really good football games. The Chiefs go
- 37:05Speaker 1: into Denver, the five and fourth Chiefs to play the
- 37:08Speaker 1: eight and two Broncos.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I kind of want to go Broncos on that one.
- 37:12Speaker 5: This is one of my favorite matchups. It's division what
- 37:15Speaker 5: they hate each other. Man, These two teams absolutely hate
- 37:19Speaker 5: each other. Sunday night game or Sunday afternoon game. Perfect
- 37:22Speaker 5: Sunday afternoon game. This is my big upset of the week. Really,
- 37:26Speaker 5: I will be taking the Broncos. Yeah, I would probably be.
- 37:29Speaker 5: I have the Chiefs now, but I have to tell
- 37:30Speaker 5: you I think I may change over to the.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Broncos as well. At home. Broncos are underdobs in this game.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah really yeah.
- 37:37Speaker 5: Yeah, three and a half points Chiefs money line minus
- 37:41Speaker 5: two to eight Broncos plus one. Seven games in Denver,
- 37:45Speaker 5: in Denver, Yeah, I'm still taking the Chiefs.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And then lastly here quickly, point flip. Well you talk
- 37:50Speaker 1: about you're talking about some great Sunday late games. I
- 37:53Speaker 1: mean you come out of that Chiefs Broncos game right
- 37:55Speaker 1: into the Lions and Eagles. Eagles on a short week,
- 37:59Speaker 1: Lions playing very good football in Philly.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Lions, are you really Philly? I'm going to Eagles. Listen, Dad,
- 38:07Speaker 5: The Lions are so good.
- 38:09Speaker 1: They are.
- 38:09Speaker 5: But the Eagles, like last week was such a bummer.
- 38:12Speaker 5: They won that game, but they lost. They lost, so
- 38:16Speaker 5: I think that they have even more things to prove.
- 38:19Speaker 5: All right, once again, these.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Are AhR yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that too.
- 38:28Speaker 5: I hope you stick with this pig dude, Yeah, no,
- 38:30Speaker 5: I'm going with Eagles, all.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Right, seven seven zero three one. That's how you text us.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Thanks Froggers, we appreciate that. Froggers dot Com for the

- 38:41Speaker 5: Why it's Monday night football. We got a launch happening too.
- 38:45Speaker 5: It's not on YouTube.
- 38:46Speaker 1: If you're watching YouTube, you can see the launch. It's
- 38:48Speaker 1: going up right now, is hey?
- 38:50Speaker 5: At least you have more wins than your logo has eyes.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Oh, Cowboys Raiders. I'm going Cowboys.
- 38:58Speaker 8: It's one of a few times this season we'll be
- 39:00Speaker 8: picking the Cowboys.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yea, Cowboys?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, Cowboys?
- 39:03Speaker 9: All right?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Very good? All right, think we'll break back in the

- 40:30Speaker 15: incredible top ten moment of my life. And now I'm
- 40:34Speaker 15: at Disney Springs because they are officially kicking off the
- 40:36Speaker 15: holiday season.
- 40:37Speaker 19: Here.
- 40:38Speaker 15: You've got the Christmas tree stroll that is free to do.
- 40:41Speaker 15: There are nineteen trees this year, which seems nuts. So
- 40:46Speaker 15: you can free and walk around all these different themed
- 40:48Speaker 15: Christmas trees and mark them off on a little map.
- 40:50Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 40:51Speaker 15: Price yep, And they are they're doing a tree light
- 40:54Speaker 15: ceremony I think at seven o'clock, so a group of
- 40:58Speaker 15: US media will be there to be part of that.
- 41:01Speaker 19: Very nice.
- 41:01Speaker 15: And yeah, we're about to head to Jack Lindsay's to
- 41:05Speaker 15: which is like the Indiana Jones themed bar, to check
- 41:08Speaker 15: out all of their Christmas decor and Christmas drinks.

- 41:18Speaker 1: good place to be for sure.
- 41:20Speaker 19: Absolutely. I'm listening to Christmas music right now behind me.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Very nice.
- 41:23Speaker 15: All right, what do you have versus week Lots of
- 41:26Speaker 15: cool different things happening this weekend.

- 41:34Speaker 15: eleven pm.
- 41:36Speaker 19: It is the Hula and Harvest Luau.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Wow.
- 41:39Speaker 15: So they are combining, right, they are combining island vibes
- 41:44Speaker 15: with the harvest season with music culture and a festive
- 41:49Speaker 15: fall atmosphere and DJ Sierra will be spinning high energy
- 41:54Speaker 15: beats from six to eleven and live Polynesian entertainment from
- 41:58Speaker 15: seven to ten. Nice which in yep and includes hula dancers,
- 42:03Speaker 15: fire knife performers, and an island trio. Of guitar, ukulele
- 42:07Speaker 15: and Tahitian drums junds lovely if.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You haven't seen the fire ritual that they do. I
- 42:14Speaker 1: had a chance to see that. Tom and Dan did
- 42:15Speaker 1: a a gig and brought that, brought a crew that
- 42:18Speaker 1: does that, and it's fascinating and really really entertaining and awesome.
- 42:22Speaker 19: Absolutely.
- 42:23Speaker 15: Yeah, we have some incredible folks here in town that
- 42:26Speaker 15: that do such a great job with that. One of

- 42:40Speaker 15: and it's twenty one and up only.
- 42:43Speaker 19: Oh yeah on the red racks.
- 42:46Speaker 5: Leave them in the car. Is it dark joke that
- 42:50Speaker 5: I would have said if it.
- 42:52Speaker 19: Was October, put an iPad in front of them, you know.
- 42:59Speaker 15: Happening Happening tomorrow night, Friday, from six thirty to eight

- 43:40Speaker 15: set up. They have a gorgeous lawn by pond for
- 43:44Speaker 15: a nice little picnic atmosphere. Now, I did mention. I
- 43:48Speaker 15: was at Ice this morning. It does officially open tomorrow.
- 43:52Speaker 15: It goes all the way through January seventh. We talked
- 43:55Speaker 15: last week. The theme is Rudolph the Red News Reindeer.
- 43:58Speaker 19: They pulled it off. It is so cool.
- 44:00Speaker 15: You have the ice slides and new this year they
- 44:03Speaker 15: have a toddler size, tiny little slide for the little guys,
- 44:06Speaker 15: which is great because I'm pretty sure my son still
- 44:09Speaker 15: needs therapy for the time he went.
- 44:12Speaker 16: On.
- 44:14Speaker 19: It's like that Christmas story.
- 44:16Speaker 15: Christmas Story was like pushed down the oh. I feel
- 44:24Speaker 15: like he's hearing that in a sleep right. And happening
- 44:28Speaker 15: Saturday is the Orlando Beer Festival. You know, we know
- 44:31Speaker 15: how to do beer here in Orlando. We do, And
- 44:35Speaker 15: this one's happening at Festival Park there on Robinson. This
- 44:39Speaker 15: is actually the tenth annual and besides a ton of
- 44:43Speaker 15: hundreds of beers, they also were gonna have ciders, seltzers
- 44:47Speaker 15: and spirits and cocktails too, and of course it is
- 44:50Speaker 15: twenty one and up. It is also dog friendly, as
- 44:54Speaker 15: long as they are well behaved doggos.
- 44:56Speaker 19: All right, you'd be the judge of that.
- 45:00Speaker 15: Happening Saturday from eleven thirty am to three pm is
- 45:04Speaker 15: a coffee rave.
- 45:06Speaker 19: You know, this is the new thing.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Wow.
- 45:08Speaker 19: So this is happening at.
- 45:11Speaker 15: The Malia Orlando Celebration. So it's there on one ninety two.
- 45:16Speaker 15: It is free, no cover, and they're gonna have a DJ.
- 45:20Speaker 15: They're gonna have Bohemian dancers bringing soul and movement to
- 45:25Speaker 15: the day and special brunch, drinks and bites.
- 45:29Speaker 19: So give that a trick, nice, I.
- 45:32Speaker 5: Like the man, what are you on? I'm on two
- 45:35Speaker 5: tabs of macha?
- 45:44Speaker 15: Boby, what's the the snob term. There's like ceremonial grade
- 45:51Speaker 15: macha or something imported from Japan. There's like there's only
- 45:58Speaker 15: do the ceremonial grade macha.
- 46:00Speaker 20: So this, yeah, oh lord, I got that, which is

- 50:36Speaker 14: It's considered a home game for Miami, but the playing
- 50:40Speaker 14: in Madrid, Spain.
- 50:44Speaker 21: I'm going to play the devil's advocate here. I haven't
- 50:47Speaker 21: seen the video of the school resource officer and that
- 50:50Speaker 21: whole thing with shit would. But if she slapped his
- 50:54Speaker 21: hand out of her face and there wasn't any physical
- 50:57Speaker 21: contact on his part, she escalated the situation. Although I'm
- 51:02Speaker 21: sure the guy's a jerk and you should never touch
- 51:04Speaker 21: a police officer. Still, yeah, she escalated the situation, so
- 51:07Speaker 21: I can kind of understand.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Really, I mean, I guess the dad stuck his finger
- 51:12Speaker 1: in the face of a cop that was trying to
- 51:15Speaker 1: just there to help maintain the situation while his kid
- 51:17Speaker 1: was being disciplined by the school. Then she's then he
- 51:21Speaker 1: stole her taser and had to have the gun drawn
- 51:24Speaker 1: on her, him and his wife.
- 51:26Speaker 4: The part that angers me the most is that you're
- 51:28Speaker 4: there at a parent teacher conference.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Right yeah, yeah, right, you're kid seeing him.
- 51:32Speaker 4: You are raising children, and you cannot act like one.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, there you go. I mean, look, I get
- 51:37Speaker 1: it benefited out. It's fine. Your fourth like Heyward his

- 51:42Speaker 1: send that away for your chance at a thousand bucks.
- 51:44Speaker 1: I'm Jim, deb Jack and Ross are here as well.
- 51:47Speaker 1: You know, with everything that just happened with a shutdown,
- 51:49Speaker 1: a lot of the information you're hearing today is, you know,
- 51:52Speaker 1: although the government is back open, obviously, they're telling you
- 51:55Speaker 1: not to expect flights to just pick right back up
- 51:57Speaker 1: where they left off. Also, all those snaps beneficiaries are
- 52:01Speaker 1: getting their funds today tomorrow and things of that nature,
- 52:04Speaker 1: there's still going to be a hole there. And our
- 52:07Speaker 1: friends over at UAP, which is United Against Poverty, we
- 52:10Speaker 1: work with Carly and these guys over there for quite
- 52:12Speaker 1: a while. They have a thing coming up this weekend
- 52:15Speaker 1: and they want you to join in and it's a
- 52:17Speaker 1: run down and it's called the Quack Attack on Poverty
- 52:20Speaker 1: five K. It's at Lake Baldwin, So it's Baldwyn Park
- 52:23Speaker 1: that lake they're in. Baldwin's got a path that goes
- 52:25Speaker 1: all the way around it. If you want to get
- 52:28Speaker 1: more information and possibly get set up for that, it's
- 52:31Speaker 1: Quack Attack dot org. That's Quack Attack dot org. You
- 52:35Speaker 1: also go to up Orlando dot org and register for that.
- 52:39Speaker 1: All of the proceeds will go to providing meals for
- 52:43Speaker 1: families that can't do themselves. There's about four hundred and
- 52:46Speaker 1: fifty families that they help here in the central Florida area.
- 52:49Speaker 1: And actually with other federal workers leaning on the food bank,
- 52:53Speaker 1: they were running short and they were doing the very
- 52:54Speaker 1: best they can. Of course, like Carly said, they will
- 52:57Speaker 1: never turn a family away. They'll do whatever they can
- 52:59Speaker 1: to make that happen. This is also the same place
- 53:01Speaker 1: United Against Poverty that has that grocery store that is
- 53:04Speaker 1: basically for people you know, you have to qualify to
- 53:07Speaker 1: be able to shop there, but you can buy your
- 53:09Speaker 1: groceries at a ridiculously discounted rate. Like a box of
- 53:12Speaker 1: cereal in the store is what six bucks there, you
- 53:15Speaker 1: get it for like a dollar, you know, And they
- 53:17Speaker 1: do that for a number of food items that are
- 53:19Speaker 1: donated through other vendors. When Dixie publics you know a
- 53:22Speaker 1: lot of vendors throughout the area and they will run
- 53:24Speaker 1: that store there for people who qualify, who you know,
- 53:27Speaker 1: have that poverty level income or have no income, and
- 53:30Speaker 1: then you can eat there. It's United Against Poverty, one
- 53:32Speaker 1: of the greatest organizations in Center for As a matter
- 53:35Speaker 1: of fact, I think they work hand in hand with
- 53:36Speaker 1: the guys over at Second Harvest Food Bank as well.
- 53:38Speaker 1: But if you want to do the run and contribute
- 53:41Speaker 1: to that, you can do that. It's called quack Attack
- 53:44Speaker 1: five for five K, and it's quack attack dot org
- 53:47Speaker 1: to get set up and get registered and again all
- 53:49Speaker 1: of the money will go to UAP to provide meals
- 53:52Speaker 1: for families who can't provide them for themselves.
- 53:54Speaker 8: How do people sign up to run on your team?
- 53:56Speaker 8: To run with you.
- 54:00Speaker 5: That's jack attack. DoD kissed my ass. That wasn't two.
- 54:06Speaker 6: And a half miles around like bald One it is.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I've walked it and skated it and run it many
- 54:11Speaker 1: times when I live there. What do you mean you
- 54:13Speaker 1: skated it skateboard? My son had a longboard, huh, and
- 54:17Speaker 1: I used to skateboard around it. They I've only done
- 54:19Speaker 1: it like once or twice. But it's a good ride.
- 54:21Speaker 1: It's a good walk, and it's packed by the way.
- 54:23Speaker 1: And I'll tell you there's a part of it over
- 54:25Speaker 1: on that. It would be the north side of it.
- 54:27Speaker 1: That's kind of creepy because at night, like when it's
- 54:30Speaker 1: getting dark, there's a like a tunnel of trees. Yeah,
- 54:33Speaker 1: and you walk through there, it's a little gnarly at night.
- 54:35Speaker 15: You know.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I told my wife, I said, you're walking out here.
- 54:37Speaker 1: You ain't walking through this place. Turn around and walk
- 54:39Speaker 1: back the other way.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Really. Yeah.
- 54:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's bad, dude, I'm telling you, not good. But
- 54:43Speaker 1: it's bald One. It doesn't matter there are no lights
- 54:46Speaker 1: in there, dude, it doesn't matter where it is. I mean,
- 54:48Speaker 1: you know, if you're somebody looking and do some sketchy stuff,
- 54:51Speaker 1: that would you know, and I don't know if they've
- 54:53Speaker 1: they put lights up there since I've been there. It's
- 54:54Speaker 1: been years, but I don't know.
- 54:57Speaker 5: I just feel like I'm walking in a gun when
- 54:59Speaker 5: I'm in Baldwyn Park.
- 55:01Speaker 1: No, No, you're perfectly fine there, all right, seven seven
- 55:05Speaker 1: zero three one. We do have a Glenn Clausen coming
- 55:07Speaker 1: up in a second for Corbort Court. I wanted to
- 55:09Speaker 1: ask you guys something real quick before we move on.
- 55:11Speaker 1: This is easy, by the way. Is we were sitting
- 55:15Speaker 1: in the living room last Thursday or last Sunday. I
- 55:18Speaker 1: was making some food for the fan that came over
- 55:20Speaker 1: to watch football and stuff. It was my daughter and
- 55:21Speaker 1: her boyfriend and my wife and I and we had
- 55:26Speaker 1: my wife had made a dessert for my son's birthday,
- 55:29Speaker 1: and we had a leftover thing of oreos, right, and
- 55:34Speaker 1: my daughter's boyfriend said, hey, grab that bag of oreos
- 55:38Speaker 1: and she goes, what do you mean bag of oreos?
- 55:40Speaker 1: He goes, yeah, the bag of oreos, and she's like,
- 55:43Speaker 1: that's not a bag. And then he started he got
- 55:46Speaker 1: kind of a blicher and he's like, it's a bag.
- 55:48Speaker 1: That's a bag, not blitcher. And he wasn't being the dick.
- 55:51Speaker 1: He was just saying, yeah, that's like, give me his number.
- 55:53Speaker 5: No, no, no, specialize.
- 55:57Speaker 1: He's the coolest not doing He's perfectly fine. All right.
- 56:00Speaker 1: We actually had a ten minute discussion slash fun argument
- 56:04Speaker 1: of whether or not the container that oreos come in
- 56:07Speaker 1: is a bag or not. It's not right, it's how
- 56:10Speaker 1: would you explain that just to container package?
- 56:12Speaker 15: No?
- 56:12Speaker 1: No, no, no, well it is a package. So where you
- 56:14Speaker 1: tear the top you can, it's got that.
- 56:16Speaker 8: Really, but then there's like a cardboard insert that kind
- 56:22Speaker 8: of keeps them in line.
- 56:23Speaker 5: No, no, no, it's it's imagine a flat and it's the
- 56:26Speaker 5: biggest thing of oreos you can get.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Right. It's got three sixty oreos in this package. So
- 56:31Speaker 1: it's got three four rows of fifteen right right, and
- 56:34Speaker 1: it's got that thing where you can tear the top
- 56:37Speaker 1: part open, grab yourself an oreo and then it seals back.
- 56:40Speaker 6: It's a convertible, like a convertible.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Convertible, but it's all plastic, right, But it's all plastic. Yeah,
- 56:45Speaker 1: but a plastic can be a bag. I mean, why
- 56:47Speaker 1: would it not be a bag? Then? Well, that's what
- 56:50Speaker 1: he kept saying. I'm like, well, it's not a bag
- 56:51Speaker 1: of bag means you can roll at the top and
- 56:53Speaker 1: you can pick it up and carry it around like that.
- 56:54Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, although I think you could
- 56:56Speaker 1: do that well.
- 56:57Speaker 4: A bag also would bag This sleighs flat, it does
- 57:01Speaker 4: like so this is vertical.
- 57:02Speaker 3: A bag would be horizontal.
- 57:04Speaker 1: That doesn't That doesn't really apply either. I mean a
- 57:06Speaker 1: bag can lay flat.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Yeah, but a bag doesn't need an insert to hold
- 57:09Speaker 4: its containers. It is the container itself. Is the bag.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question, then, have you ever
- 57:14Speaker 1: gotten ah? Have you ever gotten a pepper charm cookie?
- 57:19Speaker 5: Oh?
- 57:19Speaker 1: Yeah, let me ask is that a bag? Yes?
- 57:22Speaker 5: Okay, it's the same thing, and just one sits on
- 57:25Speaker 5: the end and the other one sits on its side,
- 57:27Speaker 5: but they both have plastic containers that the cookie sit
- 57:29Speaker 5: in inside of it.
- 57:33Speaker 8: I never would have classified it as a bag, but
- 57:37Speaker 8: I don't see why it couldn't be, because it's not.
- 57:42Speaker 5: The reason why it's not a bag.
- 57:44Speaker 1: It's Ross's sitting.
- 57:45Speaker 5: They're taking this all in in his face has contorted
- 57:48Speaker 5: fifteen times, trying to figure out what the hell we're
- 57:50Speaker 5: talking about the.
- 57:51Speaker 6: Word that we're all looking for is tray?
- 57:54Speaker 1: All right?
- 57:55Speaker 6: It's more true, it's packaging for a tray.
- 57:58Speaker 1: The tray is in a plastic.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Packaging that has the option of convertible.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Here's what I think a bag is. This is what
- 58:07Speaker 1: I told him. I think it is a bag that
- 58:08Speaker 1: has a set opening, like when you get the pepper
- 58:13Speaker 1: pepperig Farms cookies. Right, you roll that little piece of
- 58:16Speaker 1: metal back on two sides. Right, you roll the lip open,
- 58:19Speaker 1: and then you pull apart like a coffee, like a
- 58:21Speaker 1: bag of coffee.
- 58:22Speaker 9: Right.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's also a bag, right, but with the pepperedge
- 58:26Speaker 1: Farms cookies. Although it does sit on its d it's
- 58:28Speaker 1: designed to do that because of the way it's marketed.
- 58:31Speaker 1: It does have a standard opened in at all times.
- 58:34Speaker 1: This Oreo thing does not.
- 58:36Speaker 3: It's a sleeve.
- 58:37Speaker 4: We have a lot of texters saying it's kind of
- 58:39Speaker 4: like classifying a hot dog as a.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Sandwich that'sn't even close. Is a Hamburger sandwich? Yes?
- 58:45Speaker 5: And why is it not a hot because the hot
- 58:47Speaker 5: dog's bun is continuous. I don't want to talk about this.
- 58:51Speaker 4: How about you guys just split it down the middle.
- 58:53Speaker 4: It's a bagged tray of cookies.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Yeah, he didn't want to do that.
- 58:57Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a package.
- 58:59Speaker 1: This is gonna be a fun relations I do not
- 59:02Speaker 1: want to do that.
- 59:02Speaker 6: It's it's a tray with packaging.
- 59:04Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, because if you take out the tray then
- 59:08Speaker 5: and what is it?
- 59:08Speaker 1: Then?
- 59:09Speaker 5: Is it a bad packaging?
- 59:10Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, still a bag, though.
- 59:13Speaker 5: I can't get on board with calling this thing a bag.
- 59:15Speaker 5: There's no bag, there's no like, there's no thread closing
- 59:20Speaker 5: it up on the top, there's an exhive.
- 59:22Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what you do, as long as you
- 59:23Speaker 1: have that face when you're talking about it, that's all
- 59:25Speaker 1: you care about. You're perplexed. I love it. I just
- 59:28Speaker 1: it's packaging.
- 59:29Speaker 6: It's plastic packaging, all right.
- 59:31Speaker 8: I just googled the Oreos coming to bag. It says, yes,
- 59:34Speaker 8: Oreo cookies coming to bag.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Wow. There you're gonna take that up with Wikipedia, dude
- 59:43Speaker 1: swinging around.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Yeah, but you're looking at the standard pack like like Oreos.
- 59:49Speaker 1: Seven seven zero three, all right, back in the sec
- 59:53Speaker 1: with tober cord.
- 59:54Speaker 11: Damn guys, Seriously, Oreos come in a tray inside of
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: a bag. Just because they put a specialized resealable hole
- 1:00:15Speaker 11: on top of the bag, okay and modified, it doesn't
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: make it any less of a bag.
- 1:00:20Speaker 19: It's a bag.
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: May you lay flat that withholds a tray full of warriors?
- 1:00:24Speaker 19: You can even open it from the end.
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: And slide the oreos out like we used to back
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: in the day.
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Right, Jimmy, you remember I do?
- 1:00:31Speaker 22: I guess.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I hope you guys are doing well. Yeah, so I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: have to agree that is a bag.
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: The orior thing is a bag because if you take
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: out the plastic container from inside and close it, it
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: wraps up as a bag.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: When you leave the.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: Plastic container inside, it's just a more aerodynamic bag.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Thanks buye ye.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks Jimmy.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: All right, welcome back to me, Jim Colbert show win

- 1:01:02Speaker 2: The participants are not actors as a fact. This is, however,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: a real case that will be decided here in our forum,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: the Colberg Court.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: That's right at core Re Court. Brought to you by
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Klosman Law. That's k L A U. S M A
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: in law dot Com office is right there in winter
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Park four oh seven nine one seven seventeen eighteen car
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: crash called Klasman guys good low for mister Glenn Clawsman
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: in black. I said the same thing, I said the
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: same days. We rarely see you in black. He looks tough,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he does.
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: I am tough.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You have a very hemming way feel about you today.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: But now he not that tough.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: Someone just texted us at seven seven zero three one
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: and said, my kid just said, Santa's on YouTube.
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: All right, all right, I'm working on it. I'm lead
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: it very good, a little bigger, I'm working on.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: It very good. Un Here Glenn Clauwman, personal injury attorney
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: here in central Florida for many, many many years providing
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: great services and advice to people to get them out
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: of really tough situations. He's helped so many people on
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: this show, not to mention other people in Orlando, and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and we bring this to you just to kind of
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: give you a better idea of how insurance companies think
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and work, so that when you're in an accident, you
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: have a better idea of what to do actually, and
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: even before the accident, have a better way to prepare
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: yourself so that you have the least amount of pain possible.
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: Yeah, we tried to do a segment to help people.
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: I mean that's the bottom line.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: That really is the bottom line. Yeah, yeah, let's help
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: people do that. That looks good on you. Should wear
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: more black.
- 1:02:22Speaker 23: You do.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You look very stowic. You have a very judgy kind
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: of feel about you today. Dude, a funny.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: I thought he looked more like a hired killer. He's
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: a legal hired killer.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Look at your jersey coming out. All right, So we're
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: going to read this case, and as normal here for
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Cobra Court, we'll go around the room faticus. Very nice.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: We'll go around the room and try to figure it
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: out on our own. When we fail, and we usually do,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: we'll turn it over to Glenn and find out what's
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: going on. Glenn. Is this the case you have?
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: But it's an interesting fact scenario someone called me about.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Okay, very good. Are you guys ready ready? Right? Jack
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and Jill are engaged and share a two bedroom apartment with.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: Christine apparently going up the hill worked out.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Jack shop for car insurance on their new Ford Mustang,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: and Jack completed the insurance application that requested the names
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: of all the household residents. Because Christina had her own
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: car insurance, Jack did not list Christina on the insurance application.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Jack bought full coverage. Two months later, Jack was in
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: a car accident caused by someone who had the minimum
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: required insurance. The new Mustang needs over twenty thousand dollars
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: in repairs. Jack and Jill's insurance company has refused to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: pay anything because Jack failed to list their roommate, Christina
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: on the insurance application. Instead, the insurance company refunded Jack's
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: premiums and said the policy is void. Can the insurance
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: company get away with this?
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: We've danced with this devil before she had insurance and
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: that's the kind of that's the excuse I use, not
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: the less people.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: But yeah, go ahead.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: They you know, technically she had her own name because
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: they weren't engage gay.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: They're not family, they're not family. Are renting a place?
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, they run an apartment. Does she pay rent?
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: Jack and Jill? Yeah, she pays to Shack and Jill
- 1:04:21Speaker 9: pay their share, Christina pays her share.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Okay, so they're all roommates.
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: Well yeah, they're roommates.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Well that changes everything dramatically, does it not?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I mean, because I mean, if you're a grown ass
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: adult and you live with another group of people, and
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: you have your own life, and you literally just live there,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: why would you need to include those people who have
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: no impact on your life because they have access to
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: your car because it's part of the part of that household.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: They they could possibly have access to your car. Theoretically,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: that means that Christina could leave her keys, or Jack
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: and Jill could leave their keys, and one or the
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: other could take the car and drive it without the
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: permission and cause an accent.
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: But I asked a question for the call.
- 1:04:56Speaker 9: Absolutely, this is always a fun part.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: Have you ever seen the movie You've gotten?
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: Oh that's the one you finally picked.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: I've seen Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan on the horizon of
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: digital messaging.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Everybody's seen that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we got it.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: What I'm trying to get at is that I believe
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: that if they all roommates, then they are all having
- 1:05:19Speaker 5: the same address. They all have the same snail mail address.
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: You go ahead and you show that your male has
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: the same address. Boom, whoopsie daisies, you are now on
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: that insurance policy that like.
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: If your right, it's not.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Well, what I'm shooting for is that if you look
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: at their male you could prove that they all roommates
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: and that like they are underneath the same insurance policy
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: by showing that they have the same address with their male.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And by the way, Jack and Jill are not married, correct,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: sin they're engaged, they're not married, And I wonder if
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: that has an impact because they mentioned it. Why would
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you mention that they're not married if it didn't have
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: an impact on the case.
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: Well, in this particular situation, they're both on the Mustang
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: as owners, so it does not have any impact.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: It does have no impact.
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: They're both on the they're both on they're both on
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: a policy that they're both owners of the Mustang. So
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: that's not an issue.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Isn't there Like there has to be some kind of
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: assumed idea of adulthood here and stick with me. Uh,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: the idea that they are autonomous people living under one
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: roof doesn't really make them responsible or not responsible for
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: each other's actions just because they live under a roof together,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: they pay separate rent, they have separate everything, they split
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: everything down the middle. I can't imagine how the insurance
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: company can make a cogent argument that that person's actions
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: have anything to do with yours. So in my short case,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I would say that there is an argument against their
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: insurance company because these are like this is like three
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: or two separate businesses under the same roof.
- 1:06:49Speaker 9: Yeah, here's what the insurance company will say. They will say,
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: if Christina is in your Mustang and they Mustang gets
- 1:06:57Speaker 9: in an argument and Christina is hurt, then your coverage
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: would be available for Christina even though she has her
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: own policy. You have on intro motors coverage and it
- 1:07:06Speaker 9: would cover Christina also. So because of that situation, if
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: we knew she was living with you, we would have
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: charged a higher premium because you've increased our risk as
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: the insurance company. That's what they're going to claim.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: Well, they can claim everything they want. Well, I mean
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: that's that's that is a fact that could happen.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean it could be a it could
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: be a fact that she could live across the street,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: and that seems that could happen.
- 1:07:27Speaker 9: That's true.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she could sleep in the backyard and
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: they could happen.
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: But you could if you identify her as living there,
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: but then have her excluded from your policy.
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: Oh, that'd be that would have been a great move.
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: We wouldn't be here today right with this question. That
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: would have been. That would have been the thing to do,
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: right on it.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Did not even know that that was an option.
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: Did not either, Yeah, I had to do that for
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: my oldest when she was away at school. It was
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: like they're like, I'm like, yeah, she lives here, but
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: she's not here anymore, right right?
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: RYA, Wow, so does that so?
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: Someone texted us a question, Glenn, asking if all college
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: students have to list their roommates on their car insurance
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: or you know, maybe some older adults who find that
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: living on their own isn't, you know, financially feasible, so
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: they too have a roommate. Is this something you have
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: to do, regardless of whether your family or not.
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: No, No, great questions, great questions. The college situation is
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: usually much different. Usually, if the college person has his
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: own policy and he happens to have a roommate, they
- 1:08:27Speaker 9: probably should list someone of its. Most college kids are
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: still on their parents' policies the way you know from
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: my experience. But if you're an adult and you rent
- 1:08:37Speaker 9: an apartment with another adult and you apply for insurance,
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: the questionnaire is going to ask you does anybody else
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: live in that household with you? And you should say
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: yes to avoid the situation that Jack and jillerin that's
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: going to require litigation that we don't know for sure
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: how it's going to turn out.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: But you have to say that this person, even though
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: they live in the same house, will be excluded from
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: my autobiolo.
- 1:09:01Speaker 9: If you say they're excluded, then there's no questions, there's
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: no problems, no problems. If you say they're.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Excluded, do you have to write that or is there
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: a problem? And Jack?
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah. When you when you get the insurance, you
- 1:09:11Speaker 9: there is an option to exclude a driver, and you
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: exclude that person from driving your.
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: Vehicle, but they're not covered covered you you're slump and
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: you're blocking them in. They get your keys, they move out,
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: and then they hit the car across the street. Your
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: car is not covered.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Damn.
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: Yeah, well, well the other they could be covered. You
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: can exclude them as a driver, and they potentially could
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: be covered as a passenger. Which it makes this this
- 1:09:36Speaker 9: is it becomes such a husing scenario.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Yea, I wouldn't.
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: Imagine that insurance companies deliberately make it confusing, though, right.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Oh, let me let me, let me let me sput
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: a maybe at you. Let's just say that two loving
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: parents have allowed their son to move back in so
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: they can finish so he can finish college. Let's just
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: say that's the case. Let's say that the sun really
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: he doesn't really pay rent. He does some stuff around
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the house just to kind of make it good because
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: you know, they're so nice to allow him to live
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: there while he finishes up his college career.
- 1:10:07Speaker 9: Sounds like he's part of that person's household.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: So what you're saying is the people who are allowing
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: that son to live with them should go to their
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: insurance policy and check the box and says, yeah, he
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: lives here, but he's not on our insurance because he's
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: got his own policy for his own vehicle.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: Right, you should let your insurance company know that you want.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: To include somebody.
- 1:10:25Speaker 9: Somebody whoever it is, should let their insurance company know
- 1:10:29Speaker 9: that this person just happens to be living with us,
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: and we want to make sure he's excluded so that
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: we don't have a problem with our insurance coverage if
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: there's an accident.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: So it's yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:39Speaker 8: If this son then drives he's excluded, but then drives
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: the car of one of the parents and god forbid,
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: has an accident, the fact that he has his own
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: insurance covers that, and the insurance of the parents does
- 1:10:54Speaker 8: not come into play.
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: Well, here's what happens. If he's excluded as a driver
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: and he has permission to use the vehicle and causes
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: an accident, the insurance company might say, we're not going
- 1:11:06Speaker 9: to cover it. So that'd be real problem. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Jim, I'm just saying I'll make a call today
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: and I'll let this people know. Yeah, we don't want
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: to get them in the situation where yeah, is it
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: also work this reciprocal way, Like I mean, if this
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: would have happened in Christina would have been the one
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: in the situation, it would be the exact same thing.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: It could be. It could be. I mean, there are
- 1:11:28Speaker 9: arguments we can make. I've had cases like this where
- 1:11:30Speaker 9: I pursued them when we were able to win because
- 1:11:32Speaker 9: there's certain arguments you could make. There's certain things the
- 1:11:34Speaker 9: insurance company has to do when they want to deny
- 1:11:37Speaker 9: coverage and give somebody their money back that they've got
- 1:11:40Speaker 9: all kinds of you know, rules they've got to follow.
- 1:11:43Speaker 9: Sometimes they don't follow them. There's a loophole that we
- 1:11:45Speaker 9: sometimes win these cases on. There's an argument, well is
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: this is this a residence or is it more than
- 1:11:52Speaker 9: one residence under the same roof. That's another issue, yeah,
- 1:11:55Speaker 9: because they want to know the resident, the household residents.
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: And the argument could be, we've had these situations where
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: under one roof you may have two different residences. Right,
- 1:12:04Speaker 9: it's a totally separate residence. So we won the argument
- 1:12:08Speaker 9: on that pic.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: You know, I could, I could legit because it has
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: a separate entry all together. Turned my ba basement into
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: an airbnb, and if someone was living there as an airbnb,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: as a separate resident, this would not apply. Correct, Okay,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: gotcha correct? All right, So let's wrap it up real quick, like.
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: Like maybe the Sun. If the Sun was paying rent,
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: it might be a different story. But don't. Certainly the
- 1:12:25Speaker 9: Sun's paying rent to me.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Maybe to night who will.
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: One of kinds of possibilities, Lenn, what if you're someone
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: has a child who comes home, they live elsewhere, they
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: come home, borrow your car, then get in a wreck.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: They're not on the policy.
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: Yeah, that should not be a problem if they're not
- 1:12:42Speaker 9: a frequent user of the vehicle. You know this this
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: happened in this case when the person bought insurance and
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: filled out a policy an application for the insurance, and
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: left out important information.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, got it. So let's go around the room. I
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: believe maybe this person is in a bad situation where
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: it's going to take a very you get argument to
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: settle this scenario and get the money for the Mustang.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: I agree to Yep, yep, you're all right, you're all right?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Is it really yeah? Well, you know, we possibly possibly Willdicus.
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. It stops hit classic.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: I think they should make a set all right.
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: What happened? It sounds good, sounds good.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: So what do we do?
- 1:13:23Speaker 9: I mean, you're all correct. I mean it's possible to
- 1:13:26Speaker 9: win this case, but it becomes much more difficult.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, have you one cases like this? Because yes,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: what was the argument? You use the same time thing.
- 1:13:32Speaker 9: We've got different arguments about you know, it's not the
- 1:13:34Speaker 9: same residents. We've got an argument where, uh, you know,
- 1:13:37Speaker 9: somebody moved and didn't tell the insurance company moved to
- 1:13:40Speaker 9: a different location. So the insurance company said, your car
- 1:13:42Speaker 9: is being garaged at a different location now, so now
- 1:13:45Speaker 9: we're not going to pay it. And then we won
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: the argument because where it was being garaged, it was
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: actually cheaper if they bought the insurance and if they
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: told them it would have been cheaper. So the insurance
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: company has to improve. It's what's called a material misrepresentation.
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: And in this case, they would argue it because they
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: would charge a higher premium if they knew Christina was there.
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: But so, you know, this case could be could be difficult.
- 1:14:05Speaker 9: We don't have to see if they've done everything right.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Do different companies argue these cases differently or some of
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: them a little bit more stringent when it comes to
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: these rules as opposed to others that are a little.
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: Bit more good quest You're absolutely correct, yeah, yeah, absolutely correct.
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: Well, over and over we see the same companies arguing this,
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: really yeah yeah. And it's not the big boys, yeah yeah.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: Yeah yeah wow yeah, it's like the buy here, pay
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: here kind of places.
- 1:14:25Speaker 9: Right, it's it's the we know, yeah, you don't.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Have to say.
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: Yeah, it's not the ones that have their signs on stadiums.
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, wow, man, that's crazy. Were there any injuries
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: in this she was remark there was no injury. Yeah,

- 1:14:47Speaker 5: ten grand.
- 1:14:47Speaker 9: Right, but they got twenty grand a damage.

- 1:15:30Speaker 5: We do not deserve this.
- 1:15:32Speaker 17: We got two decades of greatness, six championships, one of
- 1:15:37Speaker 17: the greatest dynasties to ever grace the NFL.
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: But here's the reality of the situation.
- 1:15:43Speaker 17: We back, baby, I'm calling it right now. Patriots are
- 1:15:47Speaker 17: gonna take it over the Colts in the Super Bowl
- 1:15:49Speaker 17: win number seven.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: Big t out can't happen both AFC teams.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Oh that's gonna be staying man. Yep, he was only
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: tall enough to see the computer. The at least the
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Brady buzz is back.
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: And by that I mean h last month I was
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: in New Hampshire watching a Patriots game in a Patriot
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: household because guess what all households in New England are
- 1:16:20Speaker 8: Patriots household.
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: Households within one hundred and fifty miles Celtics and Browins
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: all if they're all locked in okay, And so.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I thought his boyfriend's from that area and he bleeds it.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: And guess what.
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: We're watching the game and Patriots score. It's like, okay,
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: we're doing shots and we are. Yet they do his
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: shots every score and they said they they don't.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Necessarily.
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: It's only recently that they get the Brady buzz back,
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: because when Tom Brady.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Was playing, they.
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: Were getting hammered Brady bus and then late then there
- 1:16:55Speaker 8: was a period of time where is this like he
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: is the game's over you.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I just want to drink. Let's just drink because as
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: bad for us. Yeah, all right, welcome back to the
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Jim Colbert Show. You're five o'clock, Keyward his bills, b
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I lls go to real Radio dot FM and send
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: that away for your chance at one thousand bucks. And
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: don't make the mistake a guy did yesterday where he
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: ignored the phone call that said no call or ID
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: when we tell you implicitly do not do that. Guys,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: if you've seen no caller ID while you're playing the game,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: you got to pick your phone up because that's how
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: they tell you. You want Do you want to know what
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: happened in that case?
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: I do.
- 1:17:30Speaker 24: Hey, guys, Michael P checking in Ross to answer your question.
- 1:17:33Speaker 24: I was in the restroom and I left my phone
- 1:17:36Speaker 24: out in the living room.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Oh damn it missed it.
- 1:17:38Speaker 24: But anyways, guys, I have thirteen meals that are going
- 1:17:45Speaker 24: in the trash night that I don't want to throw away,
- 1:17:47Speaker 24: and I want to donate them, but I'm having a
- 1:17:49Speaker 24: hard time finding somebody to.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Come get them.
- 1:17:52Speaker 24: So I'm going to leave my address with Jackie fingers
- 1:17:55Speaker 24: and somebody wants to come get them, that would be great.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Thanks guys, love you bye.
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: I don't think we can send strangers to your home,
- 1:18:02Speaker 8: Michael Pate.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: We cannot do that, but you guys can find a
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: public place that you can agree to swap out the meals.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: You still don't want to throw away thirteen meals?
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: What's he doing with thirteen meals anyway? What does that mean? Even? Yeah?
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I mean, how is that?
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: What I mean is like he delivers for on wheels
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: and he just blew off half of his route.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: A bunch of old Burger king or something was going on.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I'm Jim, deb Jack and Rousster here as well, Burger Stan.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: There's some interesting news out there. Of course, you've heard
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the fifty year mortgage idea that came piling out of
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: the White House a couple of days ago. Did you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: not hear that, Jock if the year deal? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: there was a there was a glancing pitch for this
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: to cure the homeowner situation. I just give him fifty
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: year mortgages. That way their payments will be less than that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: And the White House apparently is pretty pissed off because
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: it was an aid that I guess dropped that in
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: the ear of Trump, and he could not get away,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: couldn't get away from it. You know, it happens with
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: him and to stick to him a little bit, and
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: then he's got hammered by the national media on the idea,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: and I think most people just kind of poop poot it.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: It's still in the news a little bit, but this
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: actually is good news for homeowners. What's the number one
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: thing you think that keeps somebody from buying a home
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: outside of possibly being able to make the payment or
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: whatever the case may be. Interest rates, insurance, interance rates
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: definitely one of them. Down payment down payment's definitely another one.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: What do you need three percent or something like that
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: meeting a new loan and dealing with the old one?
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had said insurance.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Roof. How about your credit score? Super important to get
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a mortgage, right, have a good credit score. Do you
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: know that there's a minimum credit score in this state?
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Or actually Fanning May has a minimum credit score that
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you have to have to apply for a loan from
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Fanny May.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: Oh, I would imagine, Yeah, those are government back loans,
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: so you have to Yeah, I would imagine with that.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Fanning May announced the day they're scrapping the minimum credit
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: score requirement of six twenty for loans submitted to its
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: desktop underwriter engine. So that means now you do not
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: have to have a six twenty or better credit score
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to get a home now, Jack, I saw your face.
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: Just I'm like, wait, handing out loans, isn't that how
- 1:20:14Speaker 8: we kind of got exactly problem?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: It is unqualified loans to people who could not pay them,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and balloon loans to people who they knew for a
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: fact we're not going to be able to handle that
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: payment when that balloon blew like and basically just give
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: people out there an idea if you're not familiar with it.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: A balloon loan is basically the bank will loan you
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: money that you're only basically paying the interest on that loan.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: In other words, if your mortgage is supposed to be
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: thirty five hundred dollars a month, because of the loan
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: you received, you know, your payment could be as low
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: as your twelve or thirteen or fourteen hundred dollars a month,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: and you pay that for five years, then you have
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to refinance that and it basically the idea is to
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: get you into the house that you kind of get
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: settled in and then kind of find your way, get
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: settled and then refinance the house in five years. One
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: of the big problems that happened in eight is people
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: did not have the money to refinance those and people
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: were getting how is way beyond their their means. So
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you know, that payment they had of eighteen hundred dollars
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: on that fifty three hundred square foot house turned into
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: a you know, a thirty nine hundred or forty five
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: hundred dollars mortgage. And of course as those houses go
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: bye bye.
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: Yeah, and like the whole giving houses to people that
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: were like, yeah, I know, you can't afford this, And
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: usually credit scores are a good idea to understand if
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: they can afford and be responsible for that home.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: No question. But I think they're part of the story
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: because I mean, and I'll explain, because you could have
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a good financial outlook and have bad credit. Yeah help that. Well,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you could have money in the bank and have a
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: terrible credit score.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: Could you not have you it still sounds like you
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: made a bad decision, and you can well it can.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: You can make bad decisions, but life can also come
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: down on you a little bit right.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Life can can deal with you some bad deal. Like
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: let's say you're one of these wrecks and you get
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: hit with a thirty or forty thousand dollars bill that
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you can't a medical bill that you can't pay. You
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: still make great money, you still are a response, all
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: your bills are paid on time or mostly. But you
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: have this credit score because you had a bad blip
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: in your life and it went from let's say maybe
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: seven fifty down to six hundred or so because you
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: had a really bad eighteen month run. That can happen.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: What this is basically saying is instead of just solely
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: leaning on the credit score to receive your application, they're
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: gonna make a much more comprehensive are gonna take a
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: much more comprehensive look at your total credit and financial
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: picture before they say no. Because back in the day Ross,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: if you would have applied and your credit score was
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: six to nineteen, they would blow you out one credit score,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: one credit point away, and your application will get automatically
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: donked out. What they're saying now is they're gonna consider
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: more factors when it comes to home loans than just
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: that one credit score altogether.
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: But even in that scenario, right, run with me, hopefully
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: I can communicate this message. Even if you grab all
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: of those extra factors, that situation can still happen. Ah,
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: you were just one dollars short in this category or one,
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: there's always going to be aligne. So even if the
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: line was six p nineteen to can't apply or six twenty,
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: even in that scenario where there's a bunch of variables,
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: there's still going to have to be a we can
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: do it here, we can't do it there. So it
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: feels like it's just getting a facelift or just like
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: a It just is changing the same goals but keeping
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: the same.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Language, says Studies of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, which is
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the HMDA data point to credit histories, which credit scores
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: serve to represent as one of the most principal reasons
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: for property loans being denied, and the elimination of scoring
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: requirements could provide a leg up for Americans attempting to
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: get on in an increasingly inaccessible property ladder. It's a
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: quote here. Prior to this change, a score of six
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: nineteen would result in an automatic disqualification, regardless of a
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Barer's broader financial profile. This is from a bank Rate analyst,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Stephen Kates. The person would now potentially qualify for a mortgage.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: In other words, I think basically what this is doing
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: is if let's say that you are going to try
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: out for a football team, and the minimum requirement for
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: you to play for this football team is you have
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: to be six', one, Right but you go up to
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the coach and you, go, Look i'm only six feet
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: BUT i run a four to one forty And i've
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: got a forty inch vertical. Jump you, know those are
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: things that you have to take into consideration when you're
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: hiring that that half inch isn't really going to effect.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: You see What i'm. SAYING i think it's that same
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: kind of theory that although you may have a skill
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: set or you may fall short in one, area there
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: are other areas you make up for that really kind
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: of balance your financial picture.
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: OUT i, MEAN i don't know, WHY i can't really pinpoint.
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: IT i don't exactly love. This for some strange, reason
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: it just feels, LIKE i, mean, Granted i'm not like
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: some credit, guru but six point twenty isn't the highest.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Number it's more than. Doable oh, yeah, no that's. DOABLE i,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: mean what do you think of the minimum like good
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: credit scores? Now anything over?
- 1:25:01Speaker 8: SEVEN i mean of course six eighty or seven The
- 1:25:07Speaker 8: but you're still putting people in, homes but can they afford?
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Them and if they, can't it were only kicking the
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: can down the.
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: Road and we'll have a similar situation that we were
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: dealing with in nine where people were being they were
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: abandoning their.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Homes you, know, yeah, yeah, yeah we, look trust. ME
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: i cleaned out a bunch of those houses IN o.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: EIGHT i mean we made a you, know we made
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: a real good business out of that for about a
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: year and a half going around and clearing these homes
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: that have been basically abandoned or cleared. Out says here
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: that uh. Criminal the guy noted that a widening the
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: doors to home ownership in this way and sparking an
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: uptick and demand at the more affordable end of the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: market could put upward pressure on, prices therefore pushing this
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: out of reach for Some americans who stand to benefit
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: from the. Change so what they're saying is is if
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: you flood the market with more available buyers now because
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: you've lowered the the credit rating, rate that could actual
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: drive the price of homes up because now there's more
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: people that can buy a, Home so now the home
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: prices will get more.
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: Expensive and doesn't the lower credit score you have also
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: raise your interest?
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Rate it? Does, yeah, ye, yeah yeah it.
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: Does so it's gonna be another challenge for people with
- 1:26:18Speaker 8: low credit scores if they're paying a higher interest rate
- 1:26:21Speaker 8: to meet the payments.
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: Regardless wait a, SECOND i think we got to the
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: bottom of. This you're saying that if we let in
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: people with lower credit, scores they will have to pay
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: more interest and who wins in.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: That, well it's gonna be the bank that wins. There
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: oh that's, right it's gonna be the.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: Bank the bank's always gonna win, there budd if they're borrowing,
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Money if you're borrowing, money the person you're borrowing it
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: from is gonna win a. LOT i despise. INTEREST i despise.
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: It with the height of a thousand, Suns it.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Says lending decisions consider more than just credit, score and
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: this adjustment will allow more aspiring buyers to avoid being automatically,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: disqualified noting that factors associated with low, score such as
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: debt to income ratios and recent delinquencies would be assessed
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: independently and potentially lead to. Disqualification in other, words if
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: it shows like if you show a massive History i'm
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: not paying your bills as opposed to having one giant
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: bill that you can't, pay that's going to score differently
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: with people loaning. Money and that makes, sense, Right, look
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: if you paid all your, bills but, yeah you had
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: one medical procedure for a child that left you one
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: hundred and fifty thousand dollars in debt and you tried
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: to pay, that but you can't pay your other, bills
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: and that that hits your credit score. NEGATIVELY i, mean
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: that's that person still a qualified. Buyer they just had
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: one debt that drove them. Out, YEAH i mean that's
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: the but that happens to a lot of, people.
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: Dude, yeah and that also makes me. Mad but as
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: soon as you bring that, up you're a LIB. Trd
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: so look at.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: That, WELL i MEAN i don't know where to. Go,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: yeah but the thing is you can't get beyond the
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: name thing and just kind of look at this as
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: a you, know a. Business you're trying to get people
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: into homes and trying to get a home ownership.
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: UP i get, that but just SAY i. Apology it's
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: just in that scenario the second that like you bring up, that, like,
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: hey families are going broke due to medical, debts people
- 1:28:07Speaker 5: just all of a sudden just shut down because that's not.
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: Doable that's not, like it's not even a possibility in
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: our future that we don't have to live in a
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: country where that doesn't break a.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Family it says mortgage rates are expected to remain around
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: six percent for the foreseeable future on ongoing uncertainties over
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: the economy and federal, deficit while inventory issues and sustained
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: demand from wealthier buyers continue to put upward pressure on
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: home prices in THE, us where the median eight price
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: for a house is what right?
- 1:28:36Speaker 5: Now three row? Five OH i was going to go
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: three seventy? Five four four point fifteen is the? Answer oh,
- 1:28:46Speaker 5: Wow so the average home price In america is four
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: hundred and fifteen thousand.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Dollars that's crazy to. Me, yeah that is. Bananas LIKE
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: i will tell you just you, know not even ten
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: or fifteen years ago when we were looking to buy a,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: place you, know that was you, know you're talking about
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: reaching the limit of what we were going to get
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: and now that's the, average and that was just like a,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Decade like it's just this. Debt, Honestly it's like when
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: we bought the condo In, baldwin when we were looking,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: around our budget wasn't far from that and we were just, like,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: okay you, know you, know and now that house is
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: now two hundred k, more you, know just and that's
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: a and that's a, townhouse no, property you, know, nothing
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: zero wilne or shared.
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: WALLS i just hope THAT i don't, KNOW i get so.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: UPSET i got a little even frustrated talking about this
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: is because in that scenario is that you see so
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: many people are going to be pro a fifty year
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: mortgage or pro this whole, act this whole project of
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: lowering the credit scores to buy a. Home and then
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: the second you bring up like that situation of, like
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: well what about the one hundred and fifty thousand dollars medical?
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: Debt and then you bring that up and be, like,
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: yeah actually we can hold that accountable and hit that
- 1:29:56Speaker 5: with some critical thought and try to figure that. Out
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: and then the second you do, that it's, like, oh
- 1:30:02Speaker 5: you're looking for a, handout and it's, like, well but
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: you're also pro higher interest rates in banks winning.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Then, yeah, Yeah well that's one of the big issues
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: with the healthcare thing now that's being argued is the
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: fact that the insurance companies are the beneficiaries of all
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: that money that goes in. There it says, here we've
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: seen kind of a credit score, inflation meaning the same
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: number now often reflects weaker underlying. Credit removing That flora
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: could bring in borrowers with higher default, risk especially in
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: markets already under price, pressure like parts Of florida and
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: the Broader Sun. Belt so there are a lot of
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: moving parts, there but they're trying to do something to
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: get people in the. Houses we'll see how that works.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Out death to interest all, right four oh seven nine
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: one six one four. One, again you can always text
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: us at seven seven zero three to. One how do
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: you guys handle people that come up to your house
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: unsolicited than nine? Milimeter how do you have? Adept do you?
- 1:30:54Speaker 17: Have that?
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: Happen very often people like a, solicitor maybe someone from
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: a religion or trying to sell you some, thing and you,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: know walk up to your door and knock on it
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: with without being? Invited do you just not answer the?
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: Door, oh that's impossible with our front door because it
- 1:31:08Speaker 4: has a big glass oval and if we're anywhere in the,
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: room you can see.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Us oh, yeah get their. PITCH i, say, no thank,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: you have a nice. Stay do you open the door?
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Usually do?
- 1:31:16Speaker 17: You?
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: Yeah, YEAH i do.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: NOT i just tell them through the door THAT i
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: do not want to be around, them and they can
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: just go and leave my. Property AND i don't care
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: who it. IS i don't care what you're there for
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: for the most. Part if you want to do my
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: business with, me AND i always tell them you, to you,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: know call me or write a letter or send me.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: SOMETHING i don't want to talk to you in my,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: house on my. Property uh, SIR i don't have your phone. Number.
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: Yeah well that's the, problem isn't.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: It Well i'm interested to see how the audience feels about,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: that because there's an interesting case right now about this very,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: thing And i'll tell you more about it Next.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: Thursdays Are cooler With ross pagets presented by Mills. Air

- 1:31:55Speaker 25: I'm A ross on this to, me all that sounds
- 1:31:57Speaker 25: like is getting people into homes so the bag to
- 1:32:00Speaker 25: make more interest on the. Payments BECAUSE i saw the
- 1:32:03Speaker 25: mask on a fifty year mortgage and instead of paying
- 1:32:06Speaker 25: essentially what is twice for a, house you're paying like three.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Times, yeah the. House it's.
- 1:32:10Speaker 25: Gross the example is like a four thousand dollars. Home
- 1:32:13Speaker 25: normal rate was like nine hundred, thousand but with the
- 1:32:16Speaker 25: fifty year it's one point seventy million is what you
- 1:32:18Speaker 25: end up.
- 1:32:19Speaker 22: Paid good, Afternoon Jim Colbert. Show, hey you can, have

- 1:34:20Speaker 1: literally the first time in twenty Years i've done.
- 1:34:22Speaker 5: THAT i only laugh over the solar aspects because that
- 1:34:26Speaker 5: guy's just trying to be, like hey, Man i'm just
- 1:34:27Speaker 5: trying to cut an electricity, bill like they're just at,
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: work and just to face that, with you, know racially charged,

- 1:34:39Speaker 1: to fill in the blanks if we can see and

- 1:36:09Speaker 4: It he did the guy who was, canvassing because he
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: said he pulled out his.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Phone.
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: Good once they started following him because he said at
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: that point he really started to fear for his own
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: stale if.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: They came out of the house after. Him and actually
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: he went across the street to continue doing his, job
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: and they walked and followed him across the. Street so
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: they were, like, uh they were, like you, know they
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: were coming after. Him it wasn't like they just told
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: him to get off their property or get out of their,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: house or whatever the case may. Be they you, know
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: they literally came out and they followed this guy. Around,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: now they claim that when they said they weren't, interested
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: the dude flicked him a. Bird that's what they claimed
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: that caused all of, This but there's no evidence that.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: Happened that's just what they're.
- 1:36:48Speaker 6: Saying even, then dude middle finger equaling up that.
- 1:36:53Speaker 4: Response plus they if he had given them the middle,
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: finger wouldn't that have been one of the things they
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: would have been screaming at him while he was recording
- 1:36:59Speaker 4: how dare you give us the? Finger and we said.
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: No but none of that was ever. Mentioned it was never, Mentioned,
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: so in other, words it didn't. Happen, Now i'm not

- 1:37:10Speaker 1: Photo i'm not saying that they're bad, people but this

- 1:38:09Speaker 1: of thing that happens in our. Neighborhood these two people

- 1:42:16Speaker 1: Trailer we bought a trailer from somebody else who had,
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: dogs and we tried to clean the carpet and the
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: thing one hundred times and we got it pretty. Good
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: but it was always.
- 1:42:23Speaker 5: Something and this guy it was The, rainbow The Rainbow Vacuum.
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: Company, oh it's.
- 1:42:28Speaker 8: Funny someone else Said Rainbow, vacuum The Rainbow Vacuum.
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: Company and the whole thing With rainbow is is they
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: didn't have a bag that used. Water, Right you filled
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: it up with water and therefore when the dust and
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: everything came, in hit the water and the water would
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: trap it so the dust couldn't fly around. Anymore, yeah
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: and then you could also put a little drop of
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: this serum in, there and when you turn the air
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: on the thing, on it would make your entire house smell.
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: Amazing because they used this little thing to as it's creating,
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: vacuum it's blowing air out and they're, like, well we'll
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: do something with that air that's going, out and they'll do.
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: That but here's what they. Did this guy's in there
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: And i'm like and this thing was, like you gotta, remember,
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: dude this is in the mid. Eighties and this thing
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: was like eleven hundred, dollars which would be like what
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: three grand, Now and we lived in a. Trailer my,
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: dad my stepdad worked at the. Mill my mom was a.
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Teller we did not have extra dough taffy for. Dinner yeah,
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: YEAH i mean we didn't have extra. Dough and this
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: guy is in the in the living room and we're
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: all marveling at this machine or, like god, mine this is.
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: Amazing and he, goes let me show you, this and
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: he goes into his little case and he comes out
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: and he has this little swath of white cloth like
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: looks like it maybe cut from a, sheet, right and
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: no big. Deal he opens up a container in the
- 1:43:37Speaker 1: thing and he puts a little white cloth in there
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: and he closes it. Up he turns the vacuum, on
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: and he, goes we can agree that cloth was dead
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: white when we put it in, there, Right we're, like,
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: yeah dead. White he ran it over like maybe a
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: foot and a half or that carpet and they pulled
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: that thing out and it looked like my dog's. Coat
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: it was an eight inch thick in dirt and grime and.
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: Stuff and my mom bought it on the instant right
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: there with that one test you. Bought it could not afford,
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: it could not know, nothing no. Chance but that's exactly what.
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: Happens you want to feel better about.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: That, yeah somebody just texted us at seven seven zero three.

- 1:44:14Speaker 4: my wife was not. Happy we have all hardwood floor. Smh.
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: Yeah we bought a rain soft water softener from them as,
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: well because when we had a well and we had
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: iron in our, water so all of our tubs and
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: sinks were like this rust color because the water had
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: so much iron in it and it was cool with
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: the thing, is if you've ever had softened water and
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: tried to rinse soap off, yourself it takes about six. Weeks.
- 1:44:43Speaker 5: Really, yeah it's wild.
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: Because the water has it conditions the water with salt or,
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: something and they give you this like lifetime. Soap so
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: when you use, it it's like you feel, clean it feels.
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: Great but, man when you try to wash it, off

- 1:45:32Speaker 1: lived over By Code. Black it was on a. Bicycle
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: he had a bicycle that he rigged a little thing
- 1:45:38Speaker 1: up on the front that had a grind and he
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: would drive around a bicycle and clean and sharpened knives
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: on a. Bike we.
- 1:45:44Speaker 8: Had we had The fuller brush salesman who every once

- 1:57:48Speaker 5: That, yeah my home is, old so it didn't even
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: have room for AN ac.
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: Unit literally was not designed for central heat and. Air

- 1:58:24Speaker 5: we could all be like my Mills ay Or carrier ac,
- 1:58:27Speaker 5: unit where time doesn't really affect your. Existence but here
- 1:58:32Speaker 5: we are with the most time that we've ever experienced right.
- 1:58:37Speaker 5: NOW i don't want to make this too, trippy but
- 1:58:39Speaker 5: take a moment pat yourself on the. Back you made
- 1:58:42Speaker 5: it to whatever age you are right. Now, yeah, now
- 1:58:45Speaker 5: let's suffer and talk about.
- 1:58:46Speaker 1: It you've made it the farthest manhood has ever made.
- 1:58:49Speaker 5: It, yeah, yeah you, know like you. ARE i don't.
- 1:58:52Speaker 5: Know the OLDER i, get the More i'm trying to
- 1:58:54Speaker 5: really hyper focus and appreciate mine, now BECAUSE i think
- 1:58:58Speaker 5: that's a the e pass to anxiety or maybe even
- 1:59:03Speaker 5: depression or just negative. Thoughts when you get wrapped up
- 1:59:06Speaker 5: about maybe stuff in the, past or if you get
- 1:59:08Speaker 5: wrapped up about stuff in the, Future well do that
- 1:59:10Speaker 5: thing that.
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: You suggested for what you do that's. New we had
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: a guy called yesterday and say met him nauseus as.
- 1:59:14Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:59:15Speaker 1: Yeah just the idea of thinking of something that large
- 1:59:18Speaker 1: is so overwhelming it just makes you.
- 1:59:19Speaker 5: Sick, Yeah And i'm happy that he felt that, way
- 1:59:22Speaker 5: because SOMETIMES i feel like a crazy person WHEN i
- 1:59:24Speaker 5: get these really weird, thoughts And i've gotten really into
- 1:59:27Speaker 5: philosophy and different philosophers and always trying to follow and
- 1:59:32Speaker 5: maybe hear or pick up on a new ism that
- 1:59:35Speaker 5: might stay with me for a. While and the, one
- 1:59:38Speaker 5: the new rosstot that's really entered into my brain, Is,
- 1:59:41Speaker 5: MAN i really WISH i could make time. Slower SOMETIMES
- 1:59:44Speaker 5: i feel that, way and other TIMES i, go, MAN
- 1:59:46Speaker 5: i really wish this was.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: Over so like the minute you walk in those.
- 1:59:49Speaker 5: Doors and of COURSE i don't want to complain without,
- 1:59:52Speaker 5: solutions SO i actually kind of found some. Solutions if
- 1:59:57Speaker 5: you Are first of, all let me ask survey the, Room,
- 2:00:00Speaker 5: jim is time faster slow for you right?
- 2:00:03Speaker 1: NOW a little fast for? Me right, bill?
- 2:00:04Speaker 6: Buddy and now is it the fastest it's ever?
- 2:00:08Speaker 5: Been or has there been faster eras in your life
- 2:00:11Speaker 5: that you're, Like, man that year went by.
- 2:00:13Speaker 1: Quick. Yeah WHEN i owned my print shop and my
- 2:00:15Speaker 1: radio career career was beginning and my kids were, young
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: it seemed LIKE i would go to bed on A
- 2:00:20Speaker 1: monday night and wake up on A friday morning the same.
- 2:00:24Speaker 9: Day.
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah it just seemed like weeks would go by
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: with no memory of, it and it would seem like
- 2:00:29Speaker 1: those those those those moments during the, year birthdays or.
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: Whatever it would seem like we would leave one and
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: the next one would be the next, weekend even tho
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: it would be two months, away.
- 2:00:39Speaker 5: And you would say that you don't like. THAT i
- 2:00:41Speaker 5: do not care for. That, now no one should care for.
- 2:00:43Speaker 5: That dead fast, slow really, fast really really really. Fast
- 2:00:48Speaker 5: jack fast slow fast. Fast let's change. That how to
- 2:00:52Speaker 5: make time feel? SLOWER i know this is a, Dad
- 2:00:55Speaker 5: this mon might rub you the wrong. Way i'll be
- 2:00:57Speaker 5: doing this as soon AS i get, home by the,
- 2:00:58Speaker 5: way new experiences out of the, box new. Experiences and
- 2:01:04Speaker 5: the reason why is because when you try something, new
- 2:01:07Speaker 5: your brain has to pay, attention, aka it starts to
- 2:01:11Speaker 5: kind of brush off all that rust and dust in
- 2:01:14Speaker 5: certain parts of your, brain making more memories that records more,
- 2:01:18Speaker 5: details so time feels stretched out.
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: Interesting so, basically is it like maybe getting out of
- 2:01:25Speaker 1: a rut of the normal thing that you do every single,
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: Day like breaking the norm of that will make it seem.
- 2:01:30Speaker 8: Slower, yeah you're. Not you're not thinking about the. Details
- 2:01:34Speaker 8: you're not paying. Attention you go into, autopilot like you're
- 2:01:37Speaker 8: going from the print shop to the radio to. Home
- 2:01:39Speaker 8: and it just becomes a regular. Thing that's exactly what it,
- 2:01:42Speaker 8: is like a rut in. Time so out of, nowhere
- 2:01:45Speaker 8: just go.
- 2:01:45Speaker 5: Bowling like you, know out of, nowhere go over to
- 2:01:49Speaker 5: a friend's house and they're gonna ask why are you?
- 2:01:51Speaker 5: Here and then you just gotta be, Like i'm here to.
- 2:01:53Speaker 5: CHILL i JUST i just want TO i haven't seen
- 2:01:56Speaker 5: you in a. While this feels, new.
- 2:01:57Speaker 1: DUDE i gotta tell, you you're one hundred percent. Right when
- 2:01:59Speaker 1: my wife AND i went over to the west coast
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: Of florida for her birthday this, year out of, nowhere
- 2:02:07Speaker 1: we went to an escape. Room, oh out of. Nowhere
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: we just went and we were the only people, there
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: and you were a that that was the highlight of
- 2:02:15Speaker 1: the entire. Trip not the sweet we were staying, in
- 2:02:17Speaker 1: not the, beach not of the meals we had that
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: were all, great that paled in comparison to that hour
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: and a half or two hours we were in that
- 2:02:25Speaker 1: in that escape room Because i'd never done with we'd
- 2:02:27Speaker 1: never done that together.
- 2:02:28Speaker 5: Before now debt new. EXPERIENCE i feel like you have
- 2:02:31Speaker 5: like a like a whole docket of new experiences just
- 2:02:34Speaker 5: waiting to blossom into your.
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: Landscape what would BE i, KNOW i.
- 2:02:39Speaker 5: COULDN'T i couldn't have worded that any weird er IF i.
- 2:02:41Speaker 5: Tried but what new experience COULD i see In deb's?
- 2:02:46Speaker 1: Future, hmmm looks like time's gonna be slow for a.
- 2:02:52Speaker 4: While, Yeah i'm in the process of planning a, wedding
- 2:02:55Speaker 4: so AFTER i get past, that probably, yeah WELL i,
- 2:03:01Speaker 4: yeah that's very.
- 2:03:03Speaker 6: New if you're looking to make time feel.
- 2:03:05Speaker 5: Slower this is also comes with an, asterisk but fear
- 2:03:10Speaker 5: or danger that can also make time feel slower because
- 2:03:14Speaker 5: adrenaline makes your senses sharpened and your brain once again
- 2:03:18Speaker 5: record more information per. Second i'm not saying go do something,
- 2:03:23Speaker 5: dangerous But i'm saying that there's a reason why people keep, skydiving.
- 2:03:27Speaker 1: Yeah and bungee.
- 2:03:28Speaker 6: Jumping and also.
- 2:03:29Speaker 5: Another way to make time feel slower is, boredom and
- 2:03:33Speaker 5: that is probably the most overlooked character activity in the
- 2:03:38Speaker 5: last fifteen. Years make us bored. Again there is a
- 2:03:42Speaker 5: lot of great things that come out of. Boredom it's
- 2:03:45Speaker 5: honestly one of the biggest things THAT i struggle. WITH
- 2:03:47Speaker 5: i miss being bored BECAUSE i remember what was the
- 2:03:51Speaker 5: end result of my, Boredom something creative and something That i'm,
- 2:03:56Speaker 5: Like i've got to do, something and to have that
- 2:03:59Speaker 5: organically a propellant to me only comes from.
- 2:04:03Speaker 1: Boredom, WELL i, KNOW i get very excited WHEN i
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: KNOW i have fifteen or twenty or thirty minute like
- 2:04:08Speaker 1: intervals of time THAT i don't have any. Responsibilities And
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: i'm gonna be dead honest with. YOU i, mean this
- 2:04:14Speaker 1: isn't like LIKE i look forward to going to the
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: bathroom BECAUSE i can sit there for you, know ten
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: fifteen minutes AND i know for a fact that no
- 2:04:20Speaker 1: one's gonna need anything from. Me AND i know that's
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: not what you're talking. About but it's those intervals of
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: time that you have by, YOURSELF i guess not weird at.
- 2:04:28Speaker 5: All what is, weird, though is that you fake. It
- 2:04:30Speaker 5: you just go, down sit, down and what happens and
- 2:04:32Speaker 5: you stand back. UP i do find that. Weird, now
- 2:04:35Speaker 5: what makes time feel? Faster you guys actually knocked it
- 2:04:39Speaker 5: out of the.
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: Park.
- 2:04:40Speaker 5: Routine the more routine your life, is you can blink
- 2:04:44Speaker 5: and all of a, sudden it's twenty twenty eight. Yep
- 2:04:46Speaker 5: and that is probably the fastest way people all of
- 2:04:50Speaker 5: it to me THAT i can observe from other humans
- 2:04:53Speaker 5: their fastest way to, sadness, anxiety all the negative feelings
- 2:04:58Speaker 5: is that if you haven't broken your routine in.
- 2:05:01Speaker 1: A, decade just give yourself a. Week at this, AGE
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: i will tell, You i'm fifty. Seven at this, AGE
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: i will tell you it is kind of weird looking
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: back at the timeline of things and, realizing oh my,
- 2:05:13Speaker 1: gosh you, know something that seemed like it was two
- 2:05:15Speaker 1: weeks ago was really twelve years ago like. That that
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: is a little. Scary and that happens more now THAT
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: i can remember in a.
- 2:05:22Speaker 4: While and that's because they say we have more years
- 2:05:24Speaker 4: to reflect. On so time goes really fast the older you.
- 2:05:28Speaker 4: Get when you're a little, kid, right you measure birthdays
- 2:05:31Speaker 4: and a halfs.
- 2:05:32Speaker 5: Right a six and a half right when you're you're,
- 2:05:35Speaker 5: six a year is a sixth of your. Life right,
- 2:05:39Speaker 5: now a year For jim is one eighty second of his.
- 2:05:42Speaker 1: Life one hundred percent that coming? True who did not see?
- 2:05:46Speaker 6: That one hundred percent?
- 2:05:47Speaker 5: True you guys are. Correct getting older is the number
- 2:05:50Speaker 5: one way that time feels, faster and it is. Unfortunate
- 2:05:54Speaker 5: and if you guys said, it but each year it
- 2:05:56Speaker 5: just becomes a smaller fraction of your life when a
- 2:05:59Speaker 5: year used to be he's such a massive. Ordeal it
- 2:06:01Speaker 5: used to be such A i, mean no one showed
- 2:06:03Speaker 5: up to your, birthday but you still got birthday, cake right, like.
- 2:06:06Speaker 3: It divided it between school and summer.
- 2:06:08Speaker 5: Vacation and one of the other reasons why getting older
- 2:06:12Speaker 5: makes time feel so much faster is that your brain
- 2:06:15Speaker 5: isn't getting as many, firsts right, yeah and you're firsts
- 2:06:20Speaker 5: are always filled with memory and time. Recording why it's
- 2:06:23Speaker 5: so important to never stop finding first.
- 2:06:27Speaker 1: And you always compare something that you've experienced once or
- 2:06:30Speaker 1: twice back to the first time you've done. It, yes,
- 2:06:32Speaker 1: yeah so it is kind of. Weird you're, like, OH
- 2:06:34Speaker 1: i did this WHEN i was twenty, five and then
- 2:06:36Speaker 1: a constant reminder that you're old enough to have a
- 2:06:39Speaker 1: memory that when you were twenty.
- 2:06:40Speaker 5: Five if you're just joining, us more memories equals a
- 2:06:44Speaker 5: longer feeling. Time fewer memories equals a shorter feeling. Time
- 2:06:49Speaker 5: and this whole thing stemmed BECAUSE i took out My
- 2:06:52Speaker 5: christmas tree out of my shed today AND i felt
- 2:06:56Speaker 5: LIKE i just put it there eight.
- 2:06:57Speaker 1: Hours, ago oh, yeah last, year and it.
- 2:07:00Speaker 5: Freaked me, out AND i started looking up things, GOING
- 2:07:03Speaker 5: i can't live life this? Fast how DO i slow it?
- 2:07:06Speaker 1: Down?
- 2:07:07Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 2:07:07Speaker 5: Crazy AND i THINK i just gave you and our
- 2:07:10Speaker 5: listeners those. Answers those are yourrass. Thoughts i'm out, peace all, right.

- 2:10:57Speaker 5: uh this doesn't. Count, like, OH i wish it would
- 2:10:59Speaker 5: have bought. Bitcoin, OH i wish it would have bought this. Thought,
- 2:11:02Speaker 5: no what are the things that you're, Like, AH i

- 2:11:21Speaker 1: Minute yeah.
- 2:11:21Speaker 5: Yeah And i'm still benefiting also from you, KNOW i
- 2:11:25Speaker 5: could have benefited a lot more IF i stayed in the.
- 2:11:27Speaker 5: Game BUT i still have some crypto, ya BUT i
- 2:11:30Speaker 5: don't have like too. Many there's a, wedge maybe a
- 2:11:33Speaker 5: golf club THAT i bought that still makes me, go
- 2:11:36Speaker 5: LIKE i only played like fifteen rounds with, it and
- 2:11:39Speaker 5: then then a child.
- 2:11:41Speaker 1: Happened, okay, yeah yeah, yeah but like.
- 2:11:43Speaker 5: Big financial here we.
- 2:11:45Speaker 10: Go.
- 2:11:46Speaker 5: YEAH i don't pull the trigger on a lot of.
- 2:11:48Speaker 1: Things i'm so. Scared the funny thing is IS i
- 2:11:50Speaker 1: don't have one THAT i. THINK i think a regret
- 2:11:53Speaker 1: IS i THINK i sold that house around the corner
- 2:11:55Speaker 1: from here a little too, fast the house we had
- 2:11:58Speaker 1: before we moved Into.
- 2:11:58Speaker 4: Balls we didn't wait for me to get enough equity
- 2:12:01Speaker 4: or enough money so THAT i could buy that.
- 2:12:02Speaker 1: THING i could never afford, it but that house everybody.
- 2:12:07Speaker 1: Did BUT i sold that. House we did great with,
- 2:12:09Speaker 1: it but we didn't know that there was a massive
- 2:12:12Speaker 1: real estate boom coming right. Afterwards in the house we
- 2:12:15Speaker 1: we we basically left two hundred k on the.
- 2:12:17Speaker 8: Table, yeah When ross asked me this the other. Day
- 2:12:20Speaker 8: and THEN i also thought of the house THAT i
- 2:12:23Speaker 8: basically let, go you, know and made no money on.
- 2:12:27Speaker 1: It BUT i was.
- 2:12:28Speaker 8: First House olver And melbourne AFTER i had this, one
- 2:12:32Speaker 8: and my original buyer fell, through so it was being rented.
- 2:12:36Speaker 8: Out but every MONTH i was sweating it. OUT i
- 2:12:38Speaker 8: could not afford to have them. MISSAPAYMENT i JUST i
- 2:12:42Speaker 8: did Not we did not have that, money you, Know
- 2:12:45Speaker 8: SO i could not wait for that thing to have
- 2:12:48Speaker 8: my name off of. It AND i made no money on,
- 2:12:51Speaker 8: it AND i WISH i would have been able, To
- 2:12:55Speaker 8: LIKE i witnessed people flip houses and rent them out and,
- 2:12:59Speaker 8: stuff and just the ANXIETY i, HAD i could not
- 2:13:03Speaker 8: deal with. It AND i just looked it up and
- 2:13:06Speaker 8: today it would be worth you, know that cost me
- 2:13:09Speaker 8: a couple hundred, tousand, yeah, yeah, yea, yeah yeah.
- 2:13:11Speaker 5: Yeah and then that also stemmed into the next part
- 2:13:15Speaker 5: of our, conversation because that's kind of the situation THAT
- 2:13:18Speaker 5: i find myself, in is That i'm already thinking about
- 2:13:21Speaker 5: this next. Home this is going to be the main
- 2:13:23Speaker 5: home that my son. Remembers, sure, yeah you know this
- 2:13:26Speaker 5: is this has got to hit all the. Checks but
- 2:13:28Speaker 5: for that home to probably, Happen i'm going to have
- 2:13:32Speaker 5: to sell this first. Home and then trying to find
- 2:13:35Speaker 5: the balance of keeping your starter home as an asset
- 2:13:39Speaker 5: for your entire, life and then but also dealing with
- 2:13:43Speaker 5: the consequence of not probably getting your dream home because
- 2:13:46Speaker 5: you kept your starter.
- 2:13:47Speaker 19: Home.
- 2:13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah that's a that's a big.
- 2:13:49Speaker 8: Issue all this reflecting is making me think and remember
- 2:13:52Speaker 8: all the things THAT i have bought.
- 2:13:53Speaker 1: From a door to door. Salesman yeah, yeah.
- 2:13:56Speaker 8: Yeah what a satellite, DISH A c band satellite.
- 2:14:00Speaker 1: Dish my favorite thing is When jack gets real solemn
- 2:14:04Speaker 1: because he never does please feed, me feed. Me this
- 2:14:07Speaker 1: is a vampire seeing a fresh. NECK i. Have so it,
- 2:14:11Speaker 1: was it.
- 2:14:12Speaker 8: Was it was at the dawn of digital, satellite when
- 2:14:16Speaker 8: the dish network first came. Out we're talking early, nineties
- 2:14:20Speaker 8: AND i bought the old kind of, seabed, uh the,
- 2:14:23Speaker 8: one the one that like THE tv stasions.
- 2:14:25Speaker 1: Have, yeah, yeah you get.
- 2:14:26Speaker 5: Skateboard, yeah it would, move you, know it was posted
- 2:14:30Speaker 5: in the. Backyard it would move right change. Satellites but
- 2:14:33Speaker 5: because it's relocating whichever satellite it needs to, DO i
- 2:14:36Speaker 5: can't even SAY i regreted that. Purchase it wasn't, cheap
- 2:14:38Speaker 5: but it was pretty damn cool having SATELLITE tv for a. While,
- 2:14:42Speaker 5: yeah that one Was.
- 2:14:44Speaker 8: Okay the freezer Story ross was talking, about it was
- 2:14:47Speaker 8: actually a steak salesman Called Colorado, STEAKS i, Believe and
- 2:14:52Speaker 8: they sell you the, steaks but they sell you the
- 2:14:55Speaker 8: freezer to keep the, steaks and then they go through
- 2:14:59Speaker 8: the whole play and of how it saves you money
- 2:15:01Speaker 8: because you're getting a better deal on better steaks and
- 2:15:04Speaker 8: buying it in the. Supermarket and this is at a
- 2:15:07Speaker 8: time in my life WHERE i was. LOOKING i don't,
- 2:15:10Speaker 8: KNOW i was young and. Dumb we were just, married
- 2:15:13Speaker 8: and we're, like, okay that sounds, good just.
- 2:15:17Speaker 1: Married in love with. Beef you know how? OLD i
- 2:15:20Speaker 1: think after two hours he wore us.
- 2:15:22Speaker 5: DOWN i was, there, yea, yeah, yeah after two hours
- 2:15:24Speaker 5: he just wore us.
- 2:15:25Speaker 1: Down And i'm.
- 2:15:26Speaker 8: Okay and MUCH i think it was fifteen hundred for the, freezer.
- 2:15:31Speaker 5: But how much for the? STAKES i don't even remember
- 2:15:34Speaker 5: the stakes for FREE i don't Even we're not FREE
- 2:15:37Speaker 5: i don't even, know don't even know never ever freek you,
- 2:15:41Speaker 5: KNOW i we we're paying it all for a, while

- 2:15:55Speaker 5: BE i mean they literally trade your name in those
- 2:15:58Speaker 5: businesses like have you Hit jack?

- 2:17:05Speaker 5: This there's a couple of, things because this is my thought,
- 2:17:08Speaker 5: process is that there are purchases for, fun there's purchases for.
- 2:17:13Speaker 5: Business and there's a lot of times Where i've pulled
- 2:17:16Speaker 5: the trigger on a business purchase and then LIKE i
- 2:17:20Speaker 5: haven't used.
- 2:17:21Speaker 1: It like a new laptop or something new.

- 2:18:32Speaker 1: in summer, school going back to the dumb, thing and
- 2:18:35Speaker 1: we're in summer school and he's, tearing he's telling the
- 2:18:38Speaker 1: story because of you, know a parable that's part of
- 2:18:41Speaker 1: the lesson that we're. Learning and he said that when
- 2:18:44Speaker 1: he was, young he bought a really fancy car becaus
- 2:18:46Speaker 1: thought it was going to impress, everybody, right and he
- 2:18:48Speaker 1: goes and it did for about two, weeks and then
- 2:18:50Speaker 1: after two weeks my car didn't mean anything. Anymore BUT
- 2:18:53Speaker 1: i still had that, payment and for some reason that
- 2:18:56Speaker 1: was that really sat with me for the longest. Time
- 2:18:59Speaker 1: so that's not that's Why i've never really done anything like.
- 2:19:01Speaker 1: THAT i do have my Little mustang THAT i, bought
- 2:19:03Speaker 1: AND i spent some money on that, thing but it's
- 2:19:05Speaker 1: still a bit of an. INVESTMENT i still THINK i

- 2:19:08Speaker 1: consider that a bad.
- 2:19:09Speaker 5: PURCHASE i don't want to dog the idea too much
- 2:19:12Speaker 5: because it was an investment by my brother made a,
- 2:19:15Speaker 5: robot like a guitar, robot and he was trying to
- 2:19:19Speaker 5: pitch it to like conventions and theme parks as like a,
- 2:19:23Speaker 5: character and everybody that he walked up to just they
- 2:19:26Speaker 5: basically they're, like, oh so it doesn't play. Itself, OH
