- 0:02Speaker 1: I might be on my own hill when it comes
- 0:05Speaker 1: to post holidays in January and February, I call these
- 0:10Speaker 1: the dog days of winter. I kind of miss being
- 0:13Speaker 1: a student at this time of the year because if
- 0:16Speaker 1: you played hockey or basketball, you used.
- 0:17Speaker 2: To have sports still look for.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, but at thirty five, I got nothing
- 0:24Speaker 1: until I guess Valentine's Day.
- 0:26Speaker 3: It's the war.
- 0:27Speaker 4: I think January is the worst month. There's no Christmas decorations. Yeah,
- 0:32Speaker 4: it's just cold.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Ye.
- 0:34Speaker 4: No, there's no cool holidays. I love Valentine's Day, so
- 0:37Speaker 4: by February I'm into it.
- 0:39Speaker 3: But yeah, January, what is this?
- 0:41Speaker 1: If this is your birthday, I am not directing this
- 0:44Speaker 1: at you, but is there a worst day of the
- 0:46Speaker 1: year than like January twenty fourth?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Ill?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yeah, what is that?
- 0:51Speaker 4: The only thing is if you have a birthday in January,
- 0:54Speaker 4: at least you have that.
- 0:55Speaker 2: That's right.
- 0:56Speaker 3: My birthday's not in January. I got nothing.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I have a full twelve months before my birthday. Oh yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you're in December.
- 1:02Speaker 1: My wife's birthday is in January, but that's long gone now.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's like early in January, I get something
- 1:09Speaker 1: to be happy and excited about.
- 1:10Speaker 2: And then it's over.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Gosh, wow, what a downer. Where were you going with this, Gabe?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well, I wanted to know.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I need a reason to get a get a little
- 1:19Speaker 1: uh what do they call it? Hop in my giddy up?
- 1:21Speaker 2: What's that? I don't even know a reason to be excited?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Pep in your step?
- 1:26Speaker 1: Okay, step, thank you? Seven oh one two eight zero
- 1:28Speaker 1: one nine eight seven. Do you have something this year
- 1:32Speaker 1: circled on your calendar that you are really excited and
- 1:35Speaker 1: looking forward to? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 1:38Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Do you have anything off the top
- 1:41Speaker 1: of your head right now? I didn't give you any
- 1:42Speaker 1: time to think about it.
- 1:43Speaker 4: No, but I've been looking forward to this since last year.
- 1:46Speaker 4: July twenty fifth, that is my That will be my
- 1:49Speaker 4: two year anniversary with my boyfriend Mike. Oh that's cute,
- 1:53Speaker 4: and I'm really excited for us to celebrate after finally
- 1:57Speaker 4: having lived together. We will have lived together for at
- 2:01Speaker 4: least a year because we were long distance for a
- 2:03Speaker 4: really long time, and when we celebrated our one year anniversary,
- 2:07Speaker 4: he'd only been in town for like a few weeks,
- 2:09Speaker 4: and so this is nice.
- 2:11Speaker 3: That hopefully we get to the anniversary. What he leaves
- 2:15Speaker 3: me before then.
- 2:16Speaker 1: You know what they say that first year of living
- 2:18Speaker 1: together is the hardest.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Yes, So I feel like if we make guitar anniversary,
- 2:22Speaker 4: can be like this is the one and then maybe
- 2:24Speaker 4: he'll propose no pressure.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Taren has said she is looking forward to the end
- 2:28Speaker 1: of May a big dog show in Oklahoma for these two,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and she shared a beautiful picture of her two dogs.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Oh what I need to go look at this on the.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 2:39Speaker 1: A lot of people looking forward to trips, and that's
- 2:41Speaker 1: obviously a great reason to be excited. Yeah, Julie's headed
- 2:44Speaker 1: to Florida, Colorado, Nashville and a we Fest vip spot. Okay,
- 2:49Speaker 1: oh Julie. Yes, Sarah's headed to your native homeland, Las Vegas. Oh.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I love that. I love when people visit Vegas.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, Heidi's going to Italy. We have Leanna going to
- 2:59Speaker 1: Punta Hannah. And then there's a lot of people excited
- 3:02Speaker 1: for concerts. I really like this one from Erica. May
- 3:05Speaker 1: twenty third, the last day of school for teachers.
- 3:08Speaker 4: That part Wait, what so does that mean that's the
- 3:11Speaker 4: last day of school for the kiddo.
- 3:13Speaker 3: When are the kiddos out of school.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You know, I have no clue.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I have two kids that I have no clue.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And my day I'm looking forward to is also in September.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And now I'm thinking I better quick change my answer
- 3:24Speaker 1: because my anniversary is also in September, my married anniversary.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm really looking forward to September.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Twelfth, which is not your anniversary.
- 3:32Speaker 1: No, no, no, it's like two weeks before. I'm really
- 3:35Speaker 1: looking forward to going to the Foo Fighters concert.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Oh that is more important than you're married.
- 3:40Speaker 2: To be so fun.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:50Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:51Speaker 3: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:53Speaker 3: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:57Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, Sure your
- 3:59Speaker 5: little victory with us at seven oh one teven the
- 4:05Speaker 5: worst and fore balls.
- 4:06Speaker 1: We have to give a big shout out to Amanda.
- 4:07Speaker 1: She texted us this morning with a little victory. Her
- 4:10Speaker 1: little victory was I slept for nine hours and got
- 4:14Speaker 1: laundry done yesterday both how that.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I mean a queen a queen. We are in the
- 4:21Speaker 3: presence of a queen. That's amazing.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That's right.
- 4:23Speaker 1: She's like the good version of Sarcee in Game of Throne. Yes,
- 4:28Speaker 1: do you have a little victory today, Angie?
- 4:30Speaker 2: And what is it?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. I finally.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Watched the final episode of Stranger Things.
- 4:38Speaker 3: I will know I was not in town.
- 4:40Speaker 4: That's my show with Mikey, my boyfriend, and we're not
- 4:44Speaker 4: allowed to watch our show separately, and so we had
- 4:48Speaker 4: to wait until I was back in town to watch
- 4:50Speaker 4: it together. And I will say I was impressed that
- 4:54Speaker 4: I avoided basically all spoilers, okay, until I watched.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Well, what did you think?
- 5:01Speaker 1: I asked this question on the Big ninety eight point
- 5:03Speaker 1: Facebook Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page when you
- 5:06Speaker 1: were gone? What did you think of the Stranger Things ending?
- 5:09Speaker 1: And there was i'd say a lot of positives in
- 5:11Speaker 1: a couple mixed sort of negatives.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I liked it.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I definitely cried like I cried like a baby. There
- 5:18Speaker 4: were definitely moments where I.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Was like, oh my godnession.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the ending.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Okay, that's cool.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I've seen like eight minutes of that show,
- 5:31Speaker 1: and it was the eight minutes of the ending. What Yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I've never watched Stranger Things, but Corey is really into it,
- 5:38Speaker 1: and I don't remember she was watching it.
- 5:39Speaker 2: She feel Oh, that's a good question.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I think she was kind of the same, like I think, well,
- 5:45Speaker 1: I think she liked it, but it's like it's like
- 5:48Speaker 1: she can talk to me about it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I don't know anything about the show.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I need to text her later.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but I.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Have seen eight minutes, and it was the eight minutes
- 5:55Speaker 1: at the end, so I forgot what I was doing,
- 5:57Speaker 1: but she was watching it, and then I just sat
- 5:59Speaker 1: down and was kind and doing the old phone watching TV.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and yeah, so I guess I did. I
- 6:05Speaker 2: guess I know how it ends. Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Did those eight minutes make you want to check it out?
- 6:10Speaker 2: No? No, I mean I'm not saying I won't.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm sure I will at some point, but whilst it
- 6:15Speaker 1: was at its height, I guess it wasn't for me.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel you. What about you?
- 6:19Speaker 4: Do you have a little victory? Clearly it's not Stranger Things.
- 6:22Speaker 1: My little victory is so stupid. But do you know
- 6:24Speaker 1: something I've noticed in the last like probably three weeks,
- 6:27Speaker 1: what my mustache? It can finally connect to my beers?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh, we have that in common.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I have been waiting my entire life.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I don't even think I could really grow facial hair
- 6:42Speaker 1: till I was like thirty. Okay, oh wow. Maybe maybe
- 6:45Speaker 1: a little younger than that, but barely, you know what
- 6:47Speaker 1: I mean. And now that I'm thirty five, I think
- 6:49Speaker 1: my stash finally can connect.
- 6:52Speaker 3: I know I could see it.
- 6:53Speaker 1: I have been waiting forever for this, and I couldn't
- 6:57Speaker 1: share it while you were gone because I knew you'd
- 6:59Speaker 1: really care about it.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I don't think that that's a stupid victory. I think
- 7:02Speaker 3: that's main chair.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you always be on time here with
- 7:09Speaker 1: big ninety eight point seven. Have you heard of the
- 7:12Speaker 1: two out of three rule or the two of three rule? No, Well,
- 7:16Speaker 1: getting ready for your day it can take a ton
- 7:19Speaker 1: of effort, right, Maybe get up, maybe do some shower,
- 7:21Speaker 1: some hair and skincare, makeup, whatever else you're doing to
- 7:25Speaker 1: get ready for your day. Coffee, kids, things like that. Well,
- 7:30Speaker 1: this two out of three rule basically says that at
- 7:33Speaker 1: any given moment, you should just get two out of
- 7:36Speaker 1: the three polished. All right, your hair, your makeup, or
- 7:39Speaker 1: your outfit. You only need two out of the three
- 7:42Speaker 1: to be good for the day, all right, choosing to
- 7:44Speaker 1: focus on it.
- 7:44Speaker 3: I think I'm out one out of three today.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Choosing to focus on only two things keeps you looking
- 7:52Speaker 1: polished and feeling good. And as a bonus, if you've been,
- 7:56Speaker 1: if you've been like bedrotting, it's just a quicker way
- 7:59Speaker 1: to get up and get going for the day. So
- 8:01Speaker 1: if you wake up and you're doing the old scroll
- 8:03Speaker 1: and judge for an hour before you actually get ready.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Were you in my house like this morning was a
- 8:12Speaker 3: wild morning for your girl? I feel like you were
- 8:14Speaker 3: peeking through the window.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Angie.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You can pick two out of three your hair, your makeup,
- 8:20Speaker 1: your outfit.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Which two are you going with?
- 8:24Speaker 3: Hair and makeup?
- 8:27Speaker 2: You didn't say that very comp No, it's.
- 8:29Speaker 3: My number one is always hair. If my hair is
- 8:32Speaker 3: not done, then it doesn't matter what the rest of
- 8:34Speaker 3: me looks like. I'm upset.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's ruined your day.
- 8:37Speaker 4: But it's kind of like a toss up between because
- 8:39Speaker 4: I don't even wear that much makeup because I'm so
- 8:42Speaker 4: naturally pretty.
- 8:42Speaker 3: No, because I don't know how to do makeup.
- 8:45Speaker 4: But as long as I have like a lip color on,
- 8:47Speaker 4: because my natural lips.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I think blend in with my face okay.
- 8:52Speaker 4: But as long as I have that and a little
- 8:53Speaker 4: bit of messara, I think I'm okay.
- 8:56Speaker 3: And then my outfit is usually choked.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Like right now, I'm in a hoodie and sweatpants, but
- 9:02Speaker 4: I am wearing a little bit of mascara. My lips
- 9:04Speaker 4: don't match my face, and my hair is at the
- 9:07Speaker 4: very least brushed and straightened, So I don't feel the worst.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yeah, which two out of three do you think? Do
- 9:13Speaker 1: you think I care about the morning?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Literally?
- 9:16Speaker 4: Zero?
- 9:17Speaker 1: My friend, maybe you saw this viral post, this twenty
- 9:27Speaker 1: four year old woman Kindness, where I accidentally went viral.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I don't know. She meant to a lot of people,
- 9:33Speaker 2: don't mean to, I guess.
- 9:34Speaker 1: But she had shared that she's at odds a little
- 9:37Speaker 1: bit with some of her childless friends because of how
- 9:42Speaker 1: they speak about either a their kid or her kid,
- 9:46Speaker 1: or just kids in general, especially since this woman had
- 9:49Speaker 1: an unplanned kind of surprise pregnancy. She wrote that so
- 9:52Speaker 1: many of her friends they've accepted her major life change
- 9:55Speaker 1: and wrote she said that a lot of them have
- 9:59Speaker 1: accepted this major life change, and they've been so nice
- 10:02Speaker 1: and understanding. But there are some friends who will throw
- 10:06Speaker 1: out some tone deaf jokes, like one of her close
- 10:09Speaker 1: friends sent her a post that said, when I'm having
- 10:11Speaker 1: a terrible day, I remember that there are people my
- 10:14Speaker 1: age with kids, which is a horribly tone death thing.
- 10:18Speaker 3: What I don't care about that.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Well, it's mean to.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Say to someone who just had a kid, you know,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I mean, you don't have to love them by any means.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But I think it's kind of mean.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I feel like, oh, I always end up in the
- 10:29Speaker 4: minority on this. I have two kids, and I am
- 10:33Speaker 4: fully aware that they are stressful. I love them, and
- 10:37Speaker 4: they weren't like even surprises or accidents or whatever, like
- 10:41Speaker 4: I planned both of these kids.
- 10:44Speaker 3: But it is hard work.
- 10:45Speaker 4: I just will never begrudge someone who's childless, like saying, oh, well,
- 10:52Speaker 4: at least I don't have kids. You're right in terms
- 10:55Speaker 4: of life being more difficult when.
- 10:56Speaker 3: You have kids.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It is right.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I think that that's fine to.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Say, hey, but I think that always makes me look
- 11:02Speaker 4: like I'm a bad mom.
- 11:04Speaker 1: What's something that people without children just do not understand? Now,
- 11:09Speaker 1: I don't have any children, so I would be in
- 11:10Speaker 1: this boat here, Angie, but you do, so I always
- 11:13Speaker 1: kind of ask you my uh, I guess the resident
- 11:17Speaker 1: parent in the studio here seven oh one two eight
- 11:19Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven. Is there something about kids
- 11:23Speaker 1: that people who don't have them just will never get.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I want you to always invite me. I have the kids,
- 11:31Speaker 4: and most of the time I have to say no. Sure,
- 11:34Speaker 4: but I never want you to stop inviting me because
- 11:36Speaker 4: there will be those few precious times where I can
- 11:40Speaker 4: go to whatever the thing is. And I think a
- 11:43Speaker 4: lot of times people without kids think, well, let me
- 11:46Speaker 4: not invite some and so because they always have the kids.
- 11:49Speaker 4: And while that is true, most of the time, there
- 11:51Speaker 4: are those like brief shining moments where you can go.
- 11:57Speaker 4: So I my thing is for people people without kids.
- 12:01Speaker 4: If you have friends with kids, always invite them to
- 12:04Speaker 4: the thing, even if they have to say no. Most
- 12:07Speaker 4: of the time when they can say yes, it's very exciting.
- 12:10Speaker 3: So just always make the invitation.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Maxwell, what do you think the value of.
- 12:15Speaker 1: A good night's sleep? I deal people.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Without kids they sleep for granted, even when your kids
- 12:20Speaker 6: are older, you never really get.
- 12:22Speaker 5: The deepest sleep.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You're always worrying about them. At least I am. That
- 12:26Speaker 2: is yeah, that is absolutely true. That is true.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I've slept great for about thirty five years. I envy you, Jessica.
- 12:34Speaker 1: What about you?
- 12:35Speaker 3: How loud the silence feels when the kids are gone.
- 12:38Speaker 5: It's unsettling.
- 12:40Speaker 2: You know you missed the chaos you swore was driving
- 12:43Speaker 2: you insane. You know I've heard you kind of speak
- 12:46Speaker 2: about that.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Yeah, when my kids were gone for half of the summer,
- 12:50Speaker 4: and I hated it because even though I get over
- 12:53Speaker 4: stimulated and I end up screaming and being like, oh
- 12:56Speaker 4: my gosh, shit, I miss it, they're not there.
- 13:03Speaker 5: In the world of rules in gray areas, one morning
- 13:05Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 13:07Speaker 2: We both know you're guilty. He's guilty. Is it legal?
- 13:11Speaker 1: You're guilty of the worst crime of all? On Big
- 13:15Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven, believe it or not, In Fargo,
- 13:22Speaker 1: it is legal to ride a snowmobile on the roll.
- 13:25Speaker 2: What yep?
- 13:26Speaker 1: The same as street cars, buses and that guy who
- 13:29Speaker 1: hasn't cleaned the window off the or the snow off
- 13:32Speaker 1: the window roof.
- 13:33Speaker 3: This is crazy to me.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But before you fire it up and pretend you're in
- 13:38Speaker 1: the X Games, there are rules, lots of them, all right.
- 13:41Speaker 1: You can't just let it rip wherever you want, all right, No, sidewalks,
- 13:44Speaker 1: no boulevards, no highways, and absolutely no donuts in the intersection,
- 13:49Speaker 1: no matter how tempting it is. Okay, and keep that
- 13:52Speaker 1: snowmobile under control. You've got to follow traffic laws. You
- 13:56Speaker 1: have to have lights, you have to stay to the right,
- 13:57Speaker 1: and basically behave like a polite Anadian on skis.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I like that.
- 14:03Speaker 1: So yes, snowmobiles on Fargo roads are legal. And just
- 14:07Speaker 1: remember this isn't mad Max Winter Edition, It's Fargo.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Play nice.
- 14:11Speaker 1: This is There's also a great time to remind you
- 14:13Speaker 1: that Angie and I are not lawyers.
- 14:15Speaker 3: No, we absolutely are not. You do not have to
- 14:19Speaker 3: wear a helmet or something.
- 14:21Speaker 2: I'll have to dive more on into that that did
- 14:23Speaker 2: not come up and research.
- 14:25Speaker 4: It's crazy to me because the kids and I have
- 14:27Speaker 4: seen this and they think like, oh so cool, and
- 14:30Speaker 4: I have very confidently been like, okay, but that's not
- 14:33Speaker 4: actually allowed, right.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I hope they're not listening on the way to school
- 14:36Speaker 3: this morning.
- 14:41Speaker 4: You know how they say, don't kill the messenger, don't
- 14:44Speaker 4: shoot the messenger. I was a messenger at a restaurant
- 14:50Speaker 4: in Mexico and I absolutely got killed, and I feel
- 14:54Speaker 4: like I deserved it. And I feel incredibly guilty for
- 14:59Speaker 4: what down at this restaurant.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I was on a cruise. We made a stop in Cabo.
- 15:04Speaker 4: We all went as a group to eat at cabble Wabbo.
- 15:09Speaker 4: It was me, my ex brother in law, sister in law,
- 15:13Speaker 4: my niece, like, it was a whole group of people,
- 15:15Speaker 4: and of all of them, I'm the only one who
- 15:17Speaker 4: speaks fluent Spanish.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So when it's a good person to have when you're
- 15:21Speaker 2: in Mexico.
- 15:22Speaker 3: One hundred percent. I really felt by the end of it,
- 15:26Speaker 3: I wish I did.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Not know another language, because I ended up being the messenger,
- 15:32Speaker 4: the liaison between the server and the rest of the party.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Everything was going great.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Me and the server were chopping it up, having our
- 15:40Speaker 4: living our best lives.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Like, ah, here's the drinks, here's the food, ha ha ha.
- 15:45Speaker 4: The bill comes. Now I'm not the money person. My
- 15:48Speaker 4: ex brother in law is. So he got the check.
- 15:51Speaker 3: He was telling.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Everybody, here's what you owe, here's what you owe. He
- 15:54Speaker 4: did all the numbers for us. Whatever gets the bill together,
- 15:58Speaker 4: hands it to me to give to our server.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I gave it to our server.
- 16:03Speaker 4: He opens the little booklet that has the you know,
- 16:08Speaker 4: the bill and the money in it. Yep, he starts
- 16:12Speaker 4: counting it in front of me. Okay, thanks, I thought,
- 16:16Speaker 4: all right, well, just to make sure because you know,
- 16:18Speaker 4: there's a difference in currency, you know, dollars paysos whatever.
- 16:22Speaker 4: And when he's finished, he looks at me and he says,
- 16:27Speaker 4: they only tipped me ten percent.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Now did he say that in Spanish?
- 16:31Speaker 3: Yes?
- 16:32Speaker 2: Wow?
- 16:33Speaker 4: Yeah, Now that musk me on viesporciento de propina. And
- 16:38Speaker 4: my face dropped because I didn't know this, and I
- 16:41Speaker 4: as someone who for a very long time my livelihood,
- 16:45Speaker 4: like how we lived in our house was based on tips.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Ten percent is not okay.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So I look over and I tell my ex brother
- 16:53Speaker 4: in law he just said that you only tipped him
- 16:56Speaker 4: ten percent.
- 16:57Speaker 3: His face drops.
- 16:59Speaker 4: And I look back at the server and he looks
- 17:03Speaker 4: visibly upset and walks away to another table. I think
- 17:08Speaker 4: in his head thinking, okay, now I've shamed them, which
- 17:11Speaker 4: he properly should have.
- 17:13Speaker 3: They'll put more money in.
- 17:14Speaker 2: So I said, try to give yes.
- 17:16Speaker 3: So I was like, are we gonna give him more?
- 17:19Speaker 4: And he's and my ex brother in law says, I
- 17:21Speaker 4: can't believe that he called me out on that. No,
- 17:23Speaker 4: maybe I would give him more if he didn't call
- 17:25Speaker 4: me out. No, you wouldn't have because if he didn't.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Call you out, you just would have left with the town.
- 17:30Speaker 4: So now the server's looking like making eye contact with
- 17:34Speaker 4: me from across the way, and I just am shrugging.
- 17:38Speaker 4: And then my ex brother in law's like, okay, let's go,
- 17:40Speaker 4: We're all going, and we all get up and leave,
- 17:43Speaker 4: and I'm left feeling horrible. And I'm clearly the bad
- 17:48Speaker 4: guy in this situation because I'm the only person that
- 17:51Speaker 4: server could communicate with. So even though I was just
- 17:55Speaker 4: the messenger, he definitely was shooting me with daggers for
- 18:00Speaker 4: his eyeballs.
- 18:01Speaker 3: And I felt so bad.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I cannot express how guilty I feel. And I would
- 18:07Speaker 4: have added more cash myself that I ran out of cash,
- 18:09Speaker 4: and so I was like.
- 18:10Speaker 3: I will put more cash in, I'll zell you.
- 18:12Speaker 6: But they were like, no, no, no, we're leaving. Yeah, that's
- 18:15Speaker 6: the worst. Well, I'd like to make Angie feel even
- 18:18Speaker 6: worse this morning. Seven one to eight zero one nine
- 18:20Speaker 6: eight seven. What's the biggest tip you've ever left someone,
- 18:24Speaker 6: or if you are a server, what's the biggest tip
- 18:26Speaker 6: you've ever received?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Okay, that might make me feel better though.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Okay, we do have Elizabeth, Elizabeth, what about you?
- 18:34Speaker 4: I tipped my.
- 18:34Speaker 5: Nail tech two hundred dollars once he.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Stayed late fixing a disaster set before my sister's wedding
- 18:39Speaker 4: and kept saying it's okay, don't worry.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Well, I wanted her to worry about how big the
- 18:45Speaker 2: tip was.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Oh that's really sweet. Way to go, that's really nice.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Does that hurt your heart even more?
- 18:51Speaker 3: I'm glad that the nail tech got something.
- 18:54Speaker 4: I just I'm never going back to Mexico. Now.
- 19:02Speaker 1: If you don't know who Tyson Fury is, he is
- 19:05Speaker 1: a heavyweight boxer and honestly, I think he's pretty funny
- 19:10Speaker 1: on social media. Okay, now, Tyson Fury has a daughter
- 19:14Speaker 1: who is sixteen years old, and he has come out
- 19:16Speaker 1: and said she is already planning for her wedding at sixteen,
- 19:22Speaker 1: sixteen years old planning for a wedding, so naturally, I
- 19:27Speaker 1: wanted to ask you today at seven oh one two
- 19:30Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven, when did you start
- 19:34Speaker 1: planning or maybe even picturing your wedding at thirty five
- 19:38Speaker 1: years old and having had a wedding, I'm still planning it.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I never really got started.
- 19:43Speaker 1: So let me know this morning here on Big ninety
- 19:46Speaker 1: eight point seven, what about you, Angie, when did you
- 19:48Speaker 1: realistically start thinking or planning about a wedding?
- 19:51Speaker 4: Gosh? I feel like there are two kinds of girls
- 19:53Speaker 4: in this life. The ones who have been dreaming about
- 19:56Speaker 4: their wedding since they were a child, so they have
- 19:58Speaker 4: Pinterest board filled with ideas, and then the girls who
- 20:05Speaker 4: once they're seeing someone that they think they could see
- 20:07Speaker 4: themselves marrying, then it's like, I guess, maybe I'll think
- 20:10Speaker 4: about it now. I was the latter, So when I
- 20:13Speaker 4: got engaged to my first husband, that sounds wild.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I engaged to my first husband.
- 20:20Speaker 4: I did have all these ideas of okay, I want
- 20:23Speaker 4: to be walked down the aisle by my older brother
- 20:25Speaker 4: because my dad's not in the picture. I got a
- 20:27Speaker 4: wedding dress, I had ideas for the venue. When all
- 20:31Speaker 4: was said and done, we ended up getting married at
- 20:33Speaker 4: a little chapel in Vegas.
- 20:35Speaker 3: There was an Elvis statue. It cost me sixty dollars.
- 20:38Speaker 4: I wore a black dress and six inch leopard print heels.
- 20:43Speaker 2: It's a good way to save money, all right.
- 20:44Speaker 6: You're just being to be economical, yes, as being economical.
- 20:48Speaker 4: But now that he and I are no longer together
- 20:51Speaker 4: and I'm with Mikey, I have all kinds of plans
- 20:56Speaker 4: in my head for a wedding that will not include,
- 20:59Speaker 4: well include leopard heels, but that's for the wedding nights.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, did you want to share any of those
- 21:04Speaker 1: wedding potential details with us so that maybe Mikey could
- 21:07Speaker 1: get ahead start?
- 21:09Speaker 5: No?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Oh, all right, you gotta put a ring on this
- 21:12Speaker 3: finger pair?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Oh that's right, Okay, Yanette, when did you start planning
- 21:16Speaker 1: a wedding?
- 21:17Speaker 5: I'm twenty two and I actually started planning the last year.
- 21:20Speaker 5: I just wanted to look at dresses, and now I
- 21:23Speaker 5: have a venue saved and no ring.
- 21:25Speaker 1: So well, hey, there's nothing wrong with being prepared because.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Venues get booked way out in advance.
- 21:34Speaker 4: So she probably has like two years to get someone
- 21:37Speaker 4: from posible.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Well, she probably didn't book it. Maybe she's just like, oh,
- 21:40Speaker 1: this would be a cool Oh got you now? I
- 21:42Speaker 1: actually give your net kudos there. You don't want to
- 21:45Speaker 1: miss an opportunity, to miss an opportunity, you know you?
- 21:47Speaker 2: Okay, Chris, what about you, dude?
- 21:50Speaker 3: When I was twenty six and engaged that's when I
- 21:52Speaker 3: started planning. The only thing I knew I wanted from
- 21:55Speaker 3: long before that was filet mignon for my dinner.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Other than that, I had nothing planned until after I
- 22:01Speaker 5: was ready engage.
- 22:02Speaker 2: That is the most guy thing ever.
- 22:04Speaker 1: He thought about nothing except what he was gonna eat
- 22:08Speaker 1: some meat.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I need some.
- 22:13Speaker 5: Good starting off the day with something good. This is
- 22:18Speaker 5: Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Now, this story starts out a little bit tragic, but
- 22:24Speaker 1: it has a very good ending. Otherwise it really wouldn't
- 22:27Speaker 1: be Gabel Newsy ted Egan. He is a respected and
- 22:31Speaker 1: successful farmer near Walhalla in northeastern North Dakota. He survived
- 22:36Speaker 1: a life altering nineteen eighty two farm accident after slipping
- 22:41Speaker 1: into an underguarded tractor power takeoff and ended up. Yeah,
- 22:46Speaker 1: it ended up with this man losing his right leg
- 22:49Speaker 1: and the use of his left, but he used the
- 22:51Speaker 1: experience to educate others about the importance of farm and
- 22:55Speaker 1: workplace safety. Known for his determination, Egan continued farming into
- 22:59Speaker 1: his eighties, and he famously walked his daughter down the
- 23:02Speaker 1: aisle on crutches two years after the accident. Today, his
- 23:06Speaker 1: children are carrying on his mission through a safety awareness
- 23:11Speaker 1: project called Listen Up and Stay Safe, honoring his legacy
- 23:15Speaker 1: and encouraging others to prevent similar tragedies. They also went
- 23:19Speaker 1: on to add, hey, if it helps out one person,
- 23:22Speaker 1: it would all be worth it. So turning sadly a
- 23:26Speaker 1: tragic event into trying to help others be safe while
- 23:29Speaker 1: either a farming or just at work in general, I
- 23:32Speaker 1: think very commendable.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Yeah, when you take a tragedy and you can find
- 23:38Speaker 4: some way to get good out of it, I think
- 23:40Speaker 4: that's what life's all about.
- 23:41Speaker 2: That's right.
- 23:41Speaker 1: The world's full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 23:43Speaker 1: you got to be one,
