A 26-year-old autistic man, Abraham Caceres, vanished after heading toward Kennedy Plaza in Providence to buy something via Facebook Marketplace. His family discovered he’d visited an Avis rental location but couldn’t secure a car — and since he left home without his phone and struggles with verbal communication, he’s now out of contact. Police have issued a Purple Alert, urging locals to check pools and waterways, as Abraham is known to be drawn to them. He’s tall, lanky, curly-haired, and loves music — especially karaoke.
