Not a Trump Referendum, Reject the Media Spin plus CA to GOP: Pack Up & Leave · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

Speaker 1: I think Trump's gonna have a willing dance partner because
• 0:04
Speaker 1: I think Mom Donnie's going to be seeing this as
• 0:06
Speaker 1: a way to enhance his own national profile. He wants
• 0:08
Speaker 1: to be the one to take on Trump. The problem
• 0:10
Speaker 1: is some of the money that might dry up, Trump
• 0:13
Speaker 1: has a real opportunity. There is some money that's discretionary
• 0:15
Speaker 1: Trump can cut it. There is some money that's required
• 0:18
Speaker 1: that he can't. And there's other dollars that are probably
• 0:20
Speaker 1: politically sensitive when you start thinking about the congressional races
• 0:24
Speaker 1: that rely on New York funding, and I'm sure some
• 0:26
Speaker 1: of the members here in the suburbs don't want New
• 0:28
Speaker 1: York to use that much funding.
• 0:29
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:33
Speaker 3: Good Wednesday morning. It is election night or morning in America.
• 0:38
Speaker 3: I'm coming to you live with a forty seven Morning
• 0:41
Speaker 3: Update from Jerusalem in Israel, and what we witness was
• 0:45
Speaker 3: a beatdown of Republicans but in very liberal cities and states.
• 0:52

• 0:55
Speaker 3: of an impact does this shutdown have on the election results?
• 0:59

Speaker 3: been doing just that for more than twelve years. The
• 1:18

Speaker 3: fighting for, and that company is Patriot Mobile. Not only

• 2:52
Speaker 3: seven Morning Update and it starts.
• 2:54
Speaker 2: Right now story number one.
• 2:56
Speaker 3: As it is seven am right now in Jerusalem, where
• 2:59
Speaker 3: I'm doing this show from. It is well after midnight
• 3:03
Speaker 3: in America. And what you're waking up to is a
• 3:07
Speaker 3: big Democratic win. But let's be clear, it was wins
• 3:11
Speaker 3: and places that Democrats almost always win. They are going
• 3:16
Speaker 3: to spend this in the media is this was a
• 3:17
Speaker 3: bloodbath and a referendum on Donald Trump. I want to
• 3:21
Speaker 3: be clear. I think that is an exaggeration and not
• 3:25
Speaker 3: even close to reality. So we are going to go
• 3:29
Speaker 3: for you state by state so you understand exactly what
• 3:32
Speaker 3: was happening. You understand, Yes, I would have loved for
• 3:36
Speaker 3: us to win in places like Virginia, in New Jersey,
• 3:39
Speaker 3: in New York City, or Proposition fifty in California. But
• 3:44
Speaker 3: Democrats spent incredible amounts of money in places like Virginia,
• 3:48
Speaker 3: and there are issues that had a huge impact on
• 3:51
Speaker 3: election day. So let's start in Virginia as I break
• 3:56
Speaker 3: down the reality of what you need to know and
• 3:58
Speaker 3: why I am not that concern about what this means
• 4:02
Speaker 3: for the midterms coming up. Virginia was a very interesting
• 4:07
Speaker 3: race in general. You had a strong Democratic candidate that
• 4:12
Speaker 3: probably at the end of the day will have outspent
• 4:14
Speaker 3: the Republican side three to one. You had incredible amounts
• 4:18
Speaker 3: of outside money coming from outside of Virginia from the
• 4:22
Speaker 3: Democratic Party who was desperate for a win. The Virginia
• 4:26
Speaker 3: governor's race was spamburger. There it was clear the entire
• 4:29
Speaker 3: Democratic Party had united with an essence unlimited funding to
• 4:34
Speaker 3: say we have a big win. You may also hear, well,
• 4:38
Speaker 3: this is huge because a Republican is the governor now
• 4:41
Speaker 3: and they're rejecting Donald Trump, and that's when they moved
• 4:43
Speaker 3: to the Democratic Party. One of the things you need
• 4:46
Speaker 3: to remember about Virginia is at the last time, when
• 4:49
Speaker 3: Governor Youngkin was on the ballot. It was a perfect storm.
• 4:53
Speaker 3: You had a well funded candidate in Governor Youngkin. You
• 4:57
Speaker 3: also had two incredible issues that turn that state to
• 5:01
Speaker 3: the Republican Party. One of them was the shocking moment
• 5:05
Speaker 3: that we found out that the public school systems in
• 5:08
Speaker 3: Louden County had covered up a boy dressing like a
• 5:13
Speaker 3: girl going into a women's restroom and sexually assaulting a child.
• 5:19
Speaker 3: We found out that that child was not actually dealt
• 5:22
Speaker 3: with the right way by the school system. Instead, they
• 5:26
Speaker 3: just moved that boy to another school where he did
• 5:30
Speaker 3: the same thing again in a bathroom. What made this
• 5:34
Speaker 3: even more of a shock for the people that were
• 5:37
Speaker 3: voting in Virginia last time when Younkin was running is
• 5:40
Speaker 3: that the school board didn't listen to the father who
• 5:45
Speaker 3: called him out and then had him arrested, all caught
• 5:48
Speaker 3: on TV. This was a flashpoint in Virginia. And you
• 5:52
Speaker 3: also had something else that happened in Virginia during that time.
• 5:56
Speaker 3: The Democratic candidate who was running against Glenn Youngkin said
• 6:00
Speaker 3: that your children are not actually yours, but the state
• 6:04
Speaker 3: in essence owned by the government. That made for a
• 6:08
Speaker 3: perfect storm and for Governor Younkin to get his job.
• 6:13
Speaker 3: We didn't have that this time. In fact, we had
• 6:15
Speaker 3: a perfect storm for Democrats as a shut down the
• 6:19
Speaker 3: government on purpose. And they noticed that the government shut
• 6:22
Speaker 3: down was playing to their advantage in Virginia. Why because
• 6:26
Speaker 3: Virginia has a disproportionately high number of workers who are
• 6:30
Speaker 3: government workers that aren't receiving a paycheck right now compared
• 6:34
Speaker 3: to many other states. It's proximity to Washington, d C.
• 6:37
Speaker 3: Is a perfect example of that. And they understood that
• 6:40
Speaker 3: if they could keep the government shut down until election day,
• 6:44
Speaker 3: it was probably going to play well for them on
• 6:47
Speaker 3: election night. That is exactly what happened. You also have
• 6:52
Speaker 3: to understand just how liberal Virginia really is at its core.
• 6:56
Speaker 3: You had a candidate on the ballot there that had
• 6:58
Speaker 3: been busted in his own words in a text message
• 7:01
Speaker 3: chain calling for the assassination the death of a former
• 7:06
Speaker 3: Republican Speaker of the House in Virginia. Not only that,
• 7:11
Speaker 3: he sends time for them to feel pain, referring to
• 7:15
Speaker 3: the children of that elected official, saying they should also
• 7:18
Speaker 3: be murdered. Not a single Democrat in a major part
• 7:22
Speaker 3: of the Democratic Party condemned these comments, and that candidate
• 7:28
Speaker 3: in Virginia also won last night, which brings me to
• 7:33
Speaker 3: the overall perspective on Virginia. What I've loved for Republicans
• 7:38
Speaker 3: to win this race. Yes, do I feel like this
• 7:40
Speaker 3: was a race that is a referendum on Donald Trump
• 7:43
Speaker 3: or a terrifying moment of what's to come during the midterms. No,
• 7:49
Speaker 3: So let's move to New Jersey. New Jersey is a
• 7:52
Speaker 3: little bit different. The New Jersey race there was one
• 7:56
Speaker 3: that many conservatives thought was a real chance for us
• 7:59
Speaker 3: to win a governor's race in a liberal state. Unfortunately,
• 8:05
Speaker 3: it didn't work out that way. In fact, it wasn't
• 8:09
Speaker 3: even as close as many believed it was going to be. Again,
• 8:13
Speaker 3: this goes back to simple politics in math. Virginia and
• 8:18
Speaker 3: New Jersey are liberal states. New Jersey even more liberal.
• 8:22
Speaker 3: You could argue them Virginia, this is not surprising if
• 8:26
Speaker 3: you look at the history of voting in New Jersey.
• 8:30
Speaker 3: I think it's pretty clear in New Jersey as well,
• 8:32
Speaker 3: where there are a lot of government workers, that the
• 8:34
Speaker 3: shutdown had a big impact for Cheryl to win over
• 8:39
Speaker 3: at Kettrinelli. This wasn't a close race, fifty six to
• 8:43
Speaker 3: forty three. As the numbers are coming in at ninety
• 8:45
Speaker 3: five percent reporting right now, it was a beatdown. So
• 8:49
Speaker 3: then you moved to New York City, Mundanni, it is
• 8:52
Speaker 3: official now it is a communist red apple. Comrade Mundanni
• 8:57
Speaker 3: won overwhelmingly there. And even if the Republican spoiler would
• 9:02
Speaker 3: have dropped out someone who I called to drop out
• 9:04
Speaker 3: on national TV, and even if you gave all of
• 9:08
Speaker 3: the Republican votes to governor former Governor Cuomo, it still
• 9:12
Speaker 3: would have not meant there was a victory. What is
• 9:16
Speaker 3: obvious about New York City is one of the most
• 9:18
Speaker 3: radical left cities in America. Who now as a communist
• 9:24
Speaker 3: running the city, a man who said he wanted to
• 9:26
Speaker 3: abolish the police, believe the police are is evil and
• 9:30
Speaker 3: also said that if Bibi Netna who came to New York,
• 9:33
Speaker 3: he would have him arrested. So this is the reality
• 9:37
Speaker 3: of the situation. Democrats had three places where they were
• 9:41
Speaker 3: supposed to win, and Democrats had incredible amount of money
• 9:45
Speaker 3: coming in to win and shut down the entire federal
• 9:49
Speaker 3: government to make sure they got the win. Finally, we
• 9:54
Speaker 3: looked to California. No surprise there. Jerry Mandering is real
• 9:59
Speaker 3: and it has been for decades. But what California has
• 10:02
Speaker 3: now done is said that even though almost forty percent
• 10:05
Speaker 3: of the state is Republican, ninety percent of its representation
• 10:09
Speaker 3: will be Democrat. They've redrawn the lines to add five
• 10:12
Speaker 3: Democratic seats, which will have an impact on Congress. And
• 10:16
Speaker 3: it passed in the liberal state of California. So what
• 10:20
Speaker 3: is the takeaway California is saying to Republicans, get out,
• 10:24
Speaker 3: move leave, you will not be represented here. We can't
• 10:29
Speaker 3: stand you, we can't stand what you believe in, we
• 10:32
Speaker 3: cannot stand your values. And the liberal woke ideology has
• 10:37
Speaker 3: totally infected the brains of the Democratic movement and the
• 10:41
Speaker 3: voters in California. It's a really sad moment for the
• 10:45
Speaker 3: country to see this type of gerrymandering play out. So
• 10:49
Speaker 3: what is the takeaway from election in America? You had
• 10:52
Speaker 3: a communist when in New York City, Democrats having a
• 10:56
Speaker 3: big night, in Virginia, New Jersey, New York and Democrats,
• 11:00
Speaker 3: that's jerry mandering in California. Am I concerned that this
• 11:04
Speaker 3: is a foreshadow of what's going to come on the
• 11:07
Speaker 3: election night during the mid terms? I am not. I
• 11:11
Speaker 3: think these are all places where Democrats were supposed to
• 11:14
Speaker 3: win Democrats are inspired to raise money at record levels
• 11:17
Speaker 3: and give at record levels from outside of these states
• 11:21
Speaker 3: to make sure that they got the victories. They also
• 11:25
Speaker 3: shut down the federal government to get these victories. Could
• 11:28
Speaker 3: you do that and have the same results nationwide? The
• 11:31
Speaker 3: answer is obvious no. So am I concerned? Sure? I
• 11:36
Speaker 3: would have loved for Republicans to have a big win somewhere.
• 11:40
Speaker 3: But does this mean that this is a total disaster
• 11:43
Speaker 3: and is a referendum on Donald Trump? No, it's not.
• 11:47
Speaker 3: And it's clear with Donald Trump's approval rating going up
• 11:52
Speaker 3: during this government shutdown, that he still has a mandate
• 11:55
Speaker 3: from the American people to make America great again. That
• 11:59
Speaker 3: is the ultimate takeaway from election Night in America.
