DermaRite is expanding its voluntary recall to over 20 skincare products—including hand soaps, lotions, and ointments—due to potential contamination with Burkholderia cepacia complex, a bacteria that can cause serious infections, especially in those with weakened immune systems or open wounds. The recall, which began last month with hand washes, now covers items shipped across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Retailers are urged to remove affected products from shelves.
