- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I am fresh off season ten.
- 0:11Speaker 1: A Vanda pump fools. Whoa yayay they're done.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's so exciting. I mean, ten years of a show
- 0:21Speaker 2: to be on. And obviously I have not been a
- 0:24Speaker 2: part of all ten seasons. I came in season four
- 0:29Speaker 2: and I have to count on my finger. So I
- 0:31Speaker 2: completed season four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten seven.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's hilarious. Has it been ten years? Is it a
- 0:39Speaker 1: season a year? Is that how it works? Yes?
- 0:42Speaker 2: And we didn't have a season come out in twenty twenty.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, And you know we were talking about
- 0:48Speaker 2: it as a Costin's like this would have been eleven.
- 0:50Speaker 2: But then again you think about it and you're like,
- 0:52Speaker 2: would it have been eleven? Like what if the season
- 0:54Speaker 2: that season that we missed out on didn't go great?
- 0:56Speaker 3: And it was like, we actually don't need this anymore.
- 1:00Speaker 1: So yeah, however it.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Worked out is how it was supposed to work out,
- 1:04Speaker 2: how it's supposed to be.
- 1:05Speaker 1: That's my energy. How do you feel or what you
- 1:08Speaker 1: can say? I know you're kind of limited. How do
- 1:10Speaker 1: you feel about how this season is going to be?
- 1:13Speaker 1: Because you know, I've heard some things and I've been
- 1:16Speaker 1: like oh my god, this season's going to be incredible.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But how do you feel.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I feel like I have conquered the art of and
- 1:24Speaker 2: We've spoken about this so many times on the podcast,
- 1:26Speaker 2: so I'm sorry if you guys get sick of me
- 1:28Speaker 2: on repeater mode. I've conquered the art of compartmentalizing. And
- 1:34Speaker 2: there have been I can count two times this season
- 1:37Speaker 2: where I've said I've brought this home. It's affecting me
- 1:41Speaker 2: because you know, it is our real it's our real life,
- 1:45Speaker 2: it's our lives for real. Yeah, so it's very hard
- 1:48Speaker 2: to be like, I'm just gonna go home now and
- 1:50Speaker 2: not let it affect me. Sometimes I do incredible with
- 1:55Speaker 2: doing things like that. Other times I literally have to
- 1:58Speaker 2: tell my mom, like I need you to give a
- 1:59Speaker 2: five yeah, because my mom doesn't watch the show. Yeah,
- 2:04Speaker 2: she's never watched it. She doesn't know one thing about it,
- 2:08Speaker 2: and so, and she's not really into drama, you know.
- 2:13Speaker 2: She wants to talk to me about other things, which
- 2:15Speaker 2: is great because it keeps my mind off of it.
- 2:17Speaker 2: But there are times where I'm like, please pause Game
- 2:19Speaker 2: of Thrones. I need to obsess, right, and then I
- 2:22Speaker 2: need to sage myself and listen to Break My Soul
- 2:25Speaker 2: by Beyonce.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I just have to.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think it's gonna be a really great season,
- 2:30Speaker 2: really really amazing.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's gonna be really good. Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I feel like I say that every year because you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: we're there, we're living it. But at the end of
- 2:40Speaker 2: the day, it's like there are people on the other
- 2:43Speaker 2: end who are like, well, we can't really show every
- 2:48Speaker 2: single waking moment, you know, because it's still a production,
- 2:52Speaker 2: still a television show, so they got to condense things.
- 2:55Speaker 2: And I feel like, I'm just excited to see it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, And you know, you say it's real life, and
- 3:01Speaker 1: it is real life. But in real life you have
- 3:03Speaker 1: to or at least some people, I have to compartmentalize things.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And I'm not even on a show, you know what
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like a lot of people will compartmentalize work.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm dealing with work right now, but when I'm home,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I need a compartmentalize. Okay, now I'm home, now I'm
- 3:17Speaker 1: a mom. Whatever you are. I'm so happy you said that.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, because when you go to work and you may
- 3:22Speaker 2: be like beefing with a coworker like you, that's real life.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And when you go home, it's like you don't want
- 3:28Speaker 1: to think about it.
- 3:29Speaker 2: You want to enjoy your kids, or your alone time,
- 3:31Speaker 2: or your husband or boyfriend or girlfriend, whatever.
- 3:33Speaker 3: You know it may be.
- 3:35Speaker 2: So you're right, it absolutely is. It's just like everybody
- 3:38Speaker 2: is day to day, right right. I'm glad you said that,
- 3:41Speaker 2: because you know we're all in work spaces that sometimes
- 3:45Speaker 2: are not enjoyable.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Do you think I don't know if you can say this,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and if not, that's fine. Friendships, because I know you
- 3:54Speaker 1: know watching you last season, there were friendships I saw.
- 3:57Speaker 1: And then would you say that there are different and
- 4:00Speaker 1: dynamics between your friends? Yes, yeah, yeah, okay, so we'll
- 4:05Speaker 1: see it's not.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's there are certain this group is very resilient,
- 4:09Speaker 2: but there are things that I don't know that people
- 4:12Speaker 2: are gonna come back from.
- 4:13Speaker 3: M Okay, So that's all I'll say.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Speaking of my mother, Yeah, Lisa, Lise, who.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I sit there and I'm like, you need to listen
- 4:22Speaker 3: to me talk about this.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Stuff, and she's like, I need you to listen to
- 4:26Speaker 2: me about so and so down the hall.
- 4:30Speaker 3: God upset at me for Lily not being on a leash.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Okay, that's the type of shit she wants to talk about.
- 4:36Speaker 2: So We're in Beverly Hills the other day and I'm
- 4:42Speaker 2: at a light and I see this guy in this
- 4:46Speaker 2: very cute frenchie and he's walking his dog, and his
- 4:49Speaker 2: dog is visibly tired, doesn't want to walk anymore. He
- 4:53Speaker 2: keeps sitting down. The guy is literally pulling. He's on
- 4:56Speaker 2: the phone, pulling, dragging the dog. The dog gets up
- 4:59Speaker 2: and starts to walk, then he tuckers out again, and
- 5:01Speaker 2: the guy keeps dragging him. So me, being the person
- 5:05Speaker 2: that I am, say fuck that. I flip my car around. Obviously,
- 5:10Speaker 2: I make sure that traffic is not coming. I've read
- 5:12Speaker 2: my car around, roll down the window. I said, stop
- 5:17Speaker 2: dragging your dog. Your dog is tired, and he was like,
- 5:21Speaker 2: what I said, stop dragging your fucking dog. Yeah, he's tired.
- 5:26Speaker 2: So then my mom chimes in, because you know she
- 5:28Speaker 2: works for the Humane Society. Yeah, she is like oh,
- 5:32Speaker 2: she goes in. And there are times where I'm like,
- 5:34Speaker 2: you need to There are times where I always want
- 5:38Speaker 2: my mom to say something. But we live in a
- 5:40Speaker 2: world now where the other day on the news, a
- 5:42Speaker 2: man saw someone's dog being mistreated.
- 5:45Speaker 3: He goes up to the.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Guy the guy pulls out a gun shoots him. Okay,
- 5:48Speaker 2: trigger warning. I should have said that before, but that happened.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So I get concerned, you know, just for the safety
- 5:54Speaker 2: of people around me, including myself. So my mom starts
- 5:59Speaker 2: chiming in. I don't know really what she says, but
- 6:01Speaker 2: he says, it's none of your business, bitch.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 2: By the way, we're going to talk about that word
- 6:08Speaker 2: in just a second. Yeah, yeah, I have my own
- 6:11Speaker 2: whole spill on the bitch word.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Okay, but my mom goes, it is my business.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You fuck head. I love.
- 6:23Speaker 2: And all I think about was I hope that this
- 6:26Speaker 2: guy was on the phone trying to close a business
- 6:28Speaker 2: deal while we yelled at him that he's dragging his dogs.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And I just couldn't believe when my mom when the
- 6:34Speaker 2: words fuckhead, yeah, because in her mouth, I was like,
- 6:37Speaker 2: either she's been hanging around me way too much, or
- 6:42Speaker 2: this is a moment where I go, oh, that's where
- 6:45Speaker 2: I get it from.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Who knows. I think it's that at least can be spicy,
- 6:50Speaker 1: especially when she's sticking up from and I know we
- 6:52Speaker 1: talked about this, especially when she's sticking up for things
- 6:55Speaker 1: she believes in don't get in her way, and that's
- 6:57Speaker 1: how you are by the way, Yes, I agree with you. Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 2: She is the sweetest human beingsweet my grandmother, by the way,
- 7:06Speaker 2: her mom, same exact way, sweet Southern Bell, the classiest
- 7:11Speaker 2: woman you will ever you will have ever met in
- 7:14Speaker 2: your life. I know she's in heaven sitting there looking
- 7:18Speaker 2: at me, going she would never.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Say the F word, She never cursed ever. Yeah, but
- 7:23Speaker 1: I'm sure she's like.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Oh, what is this job that you have taken on,
- 7:31Speaker 2: my sweet little Laurie.
- 7:33Speaker 1: I think that's how I will be lost.
- 7:35Speaker 3: No, it's like Southern Bell Georgia accent.
- 7:38Speaker 1: That was okay good, that's like that's like old South accent.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, okay yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Bright red lipstick at all times, perfectly painted, bright red
- 7:49Speaker 2: meles always, all of the things, perfect blonde Marilyn hare, Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Just fabulous. Did she have the like, I'll stick up
- 7:59Speaker 1: for what I believe it?
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 8:02Speaker 2: That's why I say you better come correct because we
- 8:07Speaker 2: can get along.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I will build you up.
- 8:09Speaker 2: No one will ever break you, but you come for me, bitch,
- 8:12Speaker 2: m M, and I will bury you.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Yeah. That's how my mom is that. Yeah, yeah, fuck it,
- 8:20Speaker 1: Lisa is because she told me a story a few
- 8:22Speaker 1: weeks ago when you guys are at the beach about
- 8:25Speaker 1: someone raising a man raising their voice to a woman,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and Lisa got and she was like, absolutely not, You're
- 8:31Speaker 1: not going to do that in front of me. So
- 8:35Speaker 1: it's like that's how both it because you both are
- 8:39Speaker 1: so sweet and just like will do anything for anyone,
- 8:43Speaker 1: and but then if you see a wrongdoing, you're like
- 8:45Speaker 1: on it, like to the point where sometimes it makes
- 8:49Speaker 1: me nervous because, like you said.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I say, that's what I mean is it's like we
- 8:52Speaker 2: live in a world that's unhinged.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of that, I had posted over the weekend
- 9:00Speaker 1: and I'm sorry, I'm just gonna say it. I posted
- 9:02Speaker 1: it and someone did say message me and say, hey,
- 9:05Speaker 1: trigger warning next time. So trigger warning for this with
- 9:08Speaker 1: animal cruelty. But a video came out of the weekend
- 9:13Speaker 1: with a dog, a sweet white dog, and they were
- 9:19Speaker 1: you know, how you bring your animal in to get
- 9:22Speaker 1: groomed or in this case, nails trimmed, something as simple
- 9:26Speaker 1: as a fucking nail trimming. The sweet woman owner was
- 9:29Speaker 1: right outside, but it's COVID and they don't let you
- 9:32Speaker 1: come back there, which I get it, but a lot
- 9:35Speaker 1: of grooming places or say you have to stay here,
- 9:37Speaker 1: don't come back there. And the dog was just kind
- 9:40Speaker 1: of had a collar and was like tied up like
- 9:43Speaker 1: they do, but was freaking out over getting its nails trimmed.
- 9:47Speaker 1: The people the two groomers just sat there and did
- 9:50Speaker 1: what they had to do and let the dog, I
- 9:53Speaker 1: mean trigger warning, but hang himself. And he did and
- 9:56Speaker 1: he didn't make it out alive. No, yep. Got me
- 10:00Speaker 1: sick to my stomach, and it just makes me like
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'm sorry. But the sad truth is like there are
- 10:09Speaker 1: a lot of people who just don't give a fuck
- 10:11Speaker 1: at their jobs and they don't care and they will
- 10:14Speaker 1: just kind of like do whatever. And this isn't just
- 10:17Speaker 1: that big corporation. This is a lot of places. So
- 10:19Speaker 1: you really have to trust who you're taking your pet
- 10:23Speaker 1: to if you're not doing it yourself, which it's very
- 10:25Speaker 1: hard to do. So I get it if you can't
- 10:28Speaker 1: get like I get a drum all off Amazon and
- 10:30Speaker 1: do my dogs myself. But if you're not doing it yourself,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you have to be able to a watch, your eyes
- 10:36Speaker 1: are on your dog or your pet at all times
- 10:38Speaker 1: or b You really really have to trust that person
- 10:41Speaker 1: you trust the place we take Bella and Lily too,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I do no, but we stopped. We only took Bella
- 10:47Speaker 1: and Lily, which those were great. We took Bella and
- 10:50Speaker 1: Lily to a corporation like probably like a year ago
- 10:54Speaker 1: where we would take them and that local corporation pet store.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Those groomers were great, but unfortunately that's not how it is,
- 11:03Speaker 1: and a lot of stores and they don't like watch
- 11:06Speaker 1: or check them. Granted, like the video came out so
- 11:10Speaker 1: you can see.
- 11:11Speaker 2: By the way, like I fully support the like posting
- 11:17Speaker 2: of wrongdoings because as much as I sit there and
- 11:20Speaker 2: I really have a hard time with social media, it
- 11:24Speaker 2: is the one place where you can go and and
- 11:29Speaker 2: share things that affect you without being face to face
- 11:32Speaker 2: with someone you know and getting the word out and
- 11:36Speaker 2: saying this is happening and it needs to change and
- 11:38Speaker 2: holding people accountable.
- 11:41Speaker 1: There's it's just you.
- 11:42Speaker 2: You deep dive into it. And I think a lot
- 11:45Speaker 2: of things are so accessible that we're seeing so much
- 11:48Speaker 2: and we're hyper sensitive and it just makes me so sad.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It makes you feel defeated and lose faith in humanity. Yeah,
- 11:59Speaker 2: things that you're sitting there going why does no one care? Yeah, Like,
- 12:03Speaker 2: why are we not being protected the way that we
- 12:05Speaker 2: should be protected? Why are animals not being protected and
- 12:08Speaker 2: treated the way they should be treated. There's so much
- 12:11Speaker 2: wrong with this world.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and a lot of times it is like people
- 12:17Speaker 1: and I don't know if I can blame this on
- 12:19Speaker 1: them or society or mental health and people not getting
- 12:23Speaker 1: the resources they need, but they're just checked out. Like
- 12:27Speaker 1: when I was watching this video of these two groomers
- 12:30Speaker 1: and this dog, I'm like, they're just checked out. They're
- 12:32Speaker 1: not paying attention. They're going along just like just doing
- 12:36Speaker 1: their thing, not paying attention to this being that is
- 12:40Speaker 1: struggling and killing itself on the table in front of them,
- 12:44Speaker 1: And they're just checked out. And I'm just like it
- 12:46Speaker 1: made me obviously cry and sick to my stomach. But
- 12:49Speaker 1: you just have to be extra careful. You have to
- 12:52Speaker 1: be that way with babysitters. I remember my mom saying,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I will my babysitters go through the ringer, they get
- 12:58Speaker 1: reference checks, background checks. I know you're going through it all. Oh,
- 13:01Speaker 1: but that's why I have my mother. Yeah, that's true.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm nervous. You're lucky if you have a family member,
- 13:07Speaker 1: but if you don't, like, no, that's what I'm saying.
- 13:09Speaker 1: It's a luxury.
- 13:10Speaker 2: It's a luxury that my mom was able to like
- 13:12Speaker 2: pick up right and leave her life behind in Utah,
- 13:18Speaker 2: in Utah to come here and step up when I
- 13:20Speaker 2: needed her. Like, that's not just that wasn't my right
- 13:24Speaker 2: or her right.
- 13:25Speaker 3: That was a fucking luxury. So yeah, that happened.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Lisa is a bad bitch.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yes that she called him an f head because he
- 13:34Speaker 2: was being in head. Suddenly I can't say the fuck word.
- 13:39Speaker 1: No, what is that? Okay? So my feeling on.
- 13:43Speaker 3: The word bitch.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Okay, what I have learned, I don't care what anybody
- 13:50Speaker 2: says that women have made so much progress you hear, you.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Know, And I'm not saying that we haven't. I'm not
- 13:58Speaker 1: saying that we haven't.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Just this is my own perspective, Okay, everyone has one.
- 14:04Speaker 1: That's why we battle so much.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So this is just how I personally feel from my
- 14:10Speaker 2: experiences in life. We have and there are men who
- 14:17Speaker 2: are like I want to see women succeed. They wholeheartedly
- 14:21Speaker 2: believe it. Their actions prove that from my experience, this
- 14:28Speaker 2: world is not ready for women. With minds, women with voices.
- 14:35Speaker 2: You're a female and trigger word, you're like stupid kind
- 14:40Speaker 2: of m h like you just act like that dit see,
- 14:43Speaker 2: like you don't really speak your mind the opposite of me.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Let's just say that men gravitate towards that. Okay, they
- 14:55Speaker 2: like to say I love a strong woman. It's like no,
- 14:57Speaker 2: because the second that a woman puts you in check,
- 15:01Speaker 2: starts making more money than you, starts maybe like shitting
- 15:05Speaker 2: all over your ego. Is put in a position of power,
- 15:10Speaker 2: even if it's not a like a visual, tangible position
- 15:15Speaker 2: of power's not running a giant company, but position of
- 15:19Speaker 2: power in a way that like you're not gonna fuck
- 15:23Speaker 2: with me. This is how I feel. You are immediately
- 15:27Speaker 2: labeled a bitch. Okay, if I've learned anything this summer,
- 15:33Speaker 2: that is what I've realized. You cannot walk into a
- 15:36Speaker 2: room and be a thinking woman. And I'm not saying
- 15:41Speaker 2: every with every situation. I cannot stress this enough. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 2: you're labeled a bitch. How in the world could you
- 15:51Speaker 2: have a vagina and have a thought at the same time.
- 15:55Speaker 3: You're a bitch.
- 15:56Speaker 2: I'm so triggered by it, by the word. But just
- 16:01Speaker 2: like number one, when a dude calls me a bit,
- 16:03Speaker 2: it's like, what a stupid fucking word. Yeah, by the way,
- 16:07Speaker 2: because number one, you think it's an you're saying it
- 16:09Speaker 2: as an insult. It ain't an insult. Right, I am
- 16:12Speaker 2: a bitch. I'm actually that bitch. And now I'm gonna
- 16:15Speaker 2: go even heavier in the paint. I'm gonna show you
- 16:17Speaker 2: what a bitch I can be. All Right, it's so triggering.
- 16:22Speaker 1: No, I well, I mean kind of at this point,
- 16:25Speaker 1: it's like a tale as old as time with a
- 16:27Speaker 1: woman is laying the law down, she's a bitch. A
- 16:31Speaker 1: man does it, he's a boss, he's a woman. A
- 16:35Speaker 1: woman is being emotional in her job, Well, she's overly emotional.
- 16:39Speaker 1: She's a woman. A man does it, well, he's passionate.
- 16:42Speaker 1: It's like it's beyond and tail as old as time.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm bored, Like I'm bored with it, Like we're not.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I know, it's so sad. And when people use it
- 16:51Speaker 1: nowadays and like well you're a bitch, You're such a bitch,
- 16:53Speaker 1: It's like it feels lazy, it feels sad. I'm like
- 16:58Speaker 1: we're doing it just like like we while and I
- 17:00Speaker 1: were just talking about this just like when men nowadays
- 17:03Speaker 1: go after an appearance, especially on a woman.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, oh, I know what you're gonna.
- 17:09Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty two, and you're gonna say, you're gonna
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't care if you say I have a bad hair.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I'm like, don't what are you doing? You're gonna tell
- 17:17Speaker 1: you're gonna sit here and get in a fight with
- 17:19Speaker 1: me and start going after my appearance and be like,
- 17:21Speaker 1: well you're this and you're that, and start like talking
- 17:24Speaker 1: about the way lazy are you? It's lazy and it's
- 17:27Speaker 1: like pathetic, and I almost want to like laugh and
- 17:29Speaker 1: be like, oh, that's so sad. No, I know it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: that feels like bitch to me. When you're calling a
- 17:34Speaker 1: woman a bitch. It feels like you're gonna say like,
- 17:38Speaker 1: well you are whatever about my appearance, and I'm just
- 17:41Speaker 1: like it's just gross. It's so stupid and lazy. Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 2: But that's why, Yeah, I'm always constantly saying like I
- 17:49Speaker 2: love that bitch. Yeah, my bitch, because you will not
- 17:53Speaker 2: put power into that word as an insult.
- 17:55Speaker 1: All right, bitch, No bitch is bitch can be powerful.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It is power, It is powerful.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I want to be that bitch. Sometimes you think we've
- 18:03Speaker 3: said the word.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Do you want to know what's hilarious?
- 18:05Speaker 3: That word was.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Sponsoring the podcast? Do you know what I mean? You?
- 18:09Speaker 1: The first thing I ever wrote in the first pilot
- 18:13Speaker 1: I ever made with my friends and like my crew
- 18:15Speaker 1: when I was in Nashville, it was called be that Bitch,
- 18:17Speaker 1: and it was like, be that fucking bitch. Yeah, what
- 18:19Speaker 1: it was about, I just love. But there's something triggering
- 18:23Speaker 1: when it's when men use it against women negatively. It's
- 18:26Speaker 1: just like slut for me. And I know you don't
- 18:28Speaker 1: like that word, but when I won't even lie, I
- 18:31Speaker 1: think I used ho horror this season because I'm like
- 18:37Speaker 1: I feel empowered if I'm like I'm like constantly like
- 18:41Speaker 1: joking to Kyle, I'm like calling myself like ho and like, oh,
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm like I'm gonna be a slut tonight and just
- 18:47Speaker 1: like being stupid and I think it's awesome. But when
- 18:50Speaker 1: it's used negatively torn a woman these days, I'm like,
- 18:54Speaker 1: you are so pathetic. No, I know you're gonna call
- 18:57Speaker 1: it like especially by man, I'm like, ew, what you're
- 18:59Speaker 1: gonna she ca'me a chick? Yeah? Or like being sexually
- 19:02Speaker 1: empowered you lose there. What are you doing well again?
- 19:06Speaker 1: Suck my ovaries? All right? Yeah, you idiot. That's that's
- 19:10Speaker 1: that's my take on that word.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And I'm not saying that we haven't progressed, because it
- 19:16Speaker 2: depends on who you ask, what your perspective is, what
- 19:19Speaker 2: the experience has been for you in this world as
- 19:21Speaker 2: a woman.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I just for me again. People look at you as scorned.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Oh, she's just emotional. You're very emotional, You're volatile. Yeah, no, bitch,
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm passionate right now.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I'm a woman with a brain and this is how
- 19:40Speaker 2: it is. And you're not going to try and dumb
- 19:44Speaker 2: me down for your own benefit. Yeah, I see right
- 19:48Speaker 2: through it. Stop doing it, Stop doing it. Yeah, on
- 19:51Speaker 2: that my two fingers.
- 19:52Speaker 1: She's got her two fingers, she's got the finger. But
- 19:55Speaker 1: on that note, you guys, Lalla made me start doing this,
- 19:57Speaker 1: she says. She started saying it a few months ago
- 19:59Speaker 1: that I heard like, instead of like strap on a
- 20:02Speaker 1: pair of balls, she puts it replaces it with women's stuff,
- 20:05Speaker 1: so like strap on your ovaries. And I've been trying
- 20:07Speaker 1: to do that more because there's a lot of things
- 20:10Speaker 1: that are very like male centric, so like man up
- 20:14Speaker 1: or like, so I'm like, woman up, stupid. You should
- 20:17Speaker 1: do start doing that because I think is a woman
- 20:19Speaker 1: it makes you feel better.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I have very few men in my life that like
- 20:23Speaker 2: I look up to. Yeah, right so if and I've
- 20:27Speaker 2: come in contact with a lot of men. Yeah, and
- 20:29Speaker 2: I'm not a man hater. Yeah, I've felt this way
- 20:32Speaker 2: for a really long time.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah, there's just I would rather.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Be with a group of chicks.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I like it way better.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's just me and Jess on the podcast today, which
- 20:46Speaker 2: I really love this Jess. Even though it's like a
- 20:50Speaker 2: podcast where I love having guests, sometimes.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I just feel like everyone needs to hear what I'm thinking.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's what they want, So give the people
- 20:59Speaker 1: what they Everyone needs to hear what I'm thinking.
- 21:01Speaker 2: So I had you guys do and ask me anything
- 21:04Speaker 2: on the gram. We do.
- 21:06Speaker 1: We have some stuff, Jess.
- 21:07Speaker 2: We do.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Okay. First one is from Maria. Maria, this was a DM,
- 21:12Speaker 1: so I'm gonna read this and then I'm gonna go
- 21:13Speaker 1: to the ask me anything. But this says I saw
- 21:15Speaker 1: you guys are doing the pod and answering people's questions.
- 21:18Speaker 1: My question is, how do you guys stay so healthy
- 21:21Speaker 1: and fit. You're both so busy and with La La
- 21:24Speaker 1: being a mom, how do you find time to make
- 21:26Speaker 1: healthy meals and workout. I'm a new mommy and ready
- 21:29Speaker 1: to have my body back. With like a crying, laughing face, it's.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Maria, Oh Maria.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Honestly, I have to attribute a lot of my bounce
- 21:39Speaker 2: back after becoming a mom and giving birth and that whole,
- 21:43Speaker 2: that whole thing to genetics, because my you know what,
- 21:50Speaker 2: I think I'm able to maintain just like a quote.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Unquote I don't even want to call it healthy, but just.
- 22:00Speaker 2: The way that I look because I don't everything's in moderation, right,
- 22:06Speaker 2: Like I don't limit things out, but I'm certainly not
- 22:10Speaker 2: overeating right all the time? Right?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Does that make sense?
- 22:13Speaker 2: But I'm gonna be honest, Like I went to the
- 22:14Speaker 2: gym for the first time in like a couple months
- 22:17Speaker 2: last week because I'm exhausted, and I feel for moms
- 22:22Speaker 2: who either are stay at home moms and then the
- 22:26Speaker 2: second that the day is over, you want to go
- 22:28Speaker 2: to the gym. Yeah, And the moms that do do that,
- 22:30Speaker 2: I'm like, teach me.
- 22:31Speaker 1: The ways you're like, what are you?
- 22:33Speaker 2: You know you're healthy though, Jess Well, so do you
- 22:36Speaker 2: work out a lot.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And so it's funny because I when I first when
- 22:42Speaker 1: I was in college, I was and I'm not kidding,
- 22:44Speaker 1: I would run five days a week and I would
- 22:46Speaker 1: run about three to four miles every run. Now that's
- 22:50Speaker 1: and I was always exhausted, and I was eating fine.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I just probably wasn't eating enough. I was always exhausted.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I was always like or I'd go to the gym
- 23:00Speaker 1: at like ten at night. I'd get done with a
- 23:02Speaker 1: whole day of college and go to the gym, and
- 23:04Speaker 1: I was always tired. I'd have to take naps. I
- 23:06Speaker 1: was like not bubbly, and long story short, I finally
- 23:10Speaker 1: found in Granted, I've been with Kyle for six years,
- 23:14Speaker 1: and Kyle is he's a personal trainer, so he also
- 23:18Speaker 1: helped me and he would never like try and force
- 23:22Speaker 1: it on me. But if I was like, oh I'm
- 23:23Speaker 1: so tired, he'd be like, how much you eating? What
- 23:25Speaker 1: are you eating?
- 23:26Speaker 2: Like?
- 23:26Speaker 1: So anyway, long story short, for me and my body,
- 23:30Speaker 1: it helps me feel best when I only work out
- 23:35Speaker 1: about maybe three to four days a week max. My
- 23:38Speaker 1: workouts are maybe I mean, I'm not kidding. I haven't
- 23:41Speaker 1: worked out for longer than thirty minutes in a while. Okay,
- 23:45Speaker 1: if I'm in the gym, it's like a good twenty
- 23:47Speaker 1: five minutes. I go off of a program that well,
- 23:50Speaker 1: Kyle's a trainer, so I go off a program he
- 23:53Speaker 1: makes me. But like, I just I can't be in
- 23:56Speaker 1: the gym for an hour.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I just can't, Yeah, with when I train with Jenna Jenna,
- 24:01Speaker 2: it's an hour, and it's like intense. Yeah, but I
- 24:07Speaker 2: just like my bands right now because I can't commit
- 24:10Speaker 2: to like and I would go four days a week,
- 24:12Speaker 2: but I just for some reason mentally, I'm drained right now.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah. And that's like and and you know I've always
- 24:22Speaker 1: I've been told and for me it's number one is sleep.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Number two is diet. Number three is jim. So if
- 24:30Speaker 1: my sleep's not right and my diet's not right, I
- 24:32Speaker 1: don't usually go to that.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I think that's why I wake up feeling so tired,
- 24:36Speaker 2: because my appetite comes in at night and all I
- 24:39Speaker 2: want is bread, cheese and crackers. And I will be honest, like,
- 24:43Speaker 2: my diet is not on point yesterday, super healthy, and
- 24:47Speaker 2: I feel like I get what I need most of
- 24:50Speaker 2: the time, and then I binge at night yeah, with
- 24:53Speaker 2: just all the breaches.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Well, world, that's my mom was like, my mom loves
- 24:59Speaker 1: night eating. And for me, when I say diet, it's
- 25:01Speaker 1: the opposite of what I used to do in college.
- 25:04Speaker 1: It's not cutting really anything out. I just eat whatever
- 25:07Speaker 1: I want, but in moderation. And I also make sure
- 25:10Speaker 1: like I'm getting enough like vegetables and protein throughout the
- 25:13Speaker 1: day because for me, that's what works best for my body.
- 25:16Speaker 1: If I'm not eating enough, I feel it, I'm tired,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm so I never limit myself. Me Limiting myself with
- 25:23Speaker 1: food is a recipe for a disaster.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I can't stop eating Domino's pizza. Yeah, there's no I'm disgusting, okay,
- 25:32Speaker 2: but like Domino's pizza with bread twists and fond of cheese.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Step all right, that actually sounds really like it.
- 25:38Speaker 2: It's you know, and like sometimes it's a splurt for
- 25:42Speaker 2: most people, right for me, it's like, let's have it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Three days in a row. See. But for me, and
- 25:47Speaker 1: I've told you this before, if I if I eat
- 25:50Speaker 1: like shit, I do it. I mean whenever. But if
- 25:52Speaker 1: I do too much, my brain starts just short circuiting.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I can't think that's happening. To me and I'm cranky.
- 25:59Speaker 1: I'm cranky. I mean, I'll be a raging bitch if
- 26:03Speaker 1: i'm if I don't get some And I love a
- 26:05Speaker 1: good walk with my dog. But if yes, fresh air
- 26:08Speaker 1: and trees, guys like number one get that freaking fresh air. Hikes. Yes,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I love the smell of cars whizzing past me. Wait
- 26:20Speaker 1: are you the one that said if someone tells me
- 26:22Speaker 1: to take a fucking hike one more time? What? Oh No,
- 26:26Speaker 1: that wasn't you, was it?
- 26:27Speaker 2: Someone says people love to tell me to Hip Logan
- 26:30Speaker 2: is a hiker and he's.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Like, you should hike. I'm like you, like, stop with
- 26:35Speaker 1: the hike.
- 26:36Speaker 2: I'm from Utah, right, you don't even hike, to be
- 26:38Speaker 2: quite honest, And we're gonna talk about hiking like I
- 26:42Speaker 2: calm from the mountains.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Bro. Yeah, So it's different for everyone. I you too.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I think you got to find what works, what makes
- 26:48Speaker 2: you happy, and because there's so much out there that
- 26:50Speaker 2: people are shoving down your throats and like this is
- 26:52Speaker 2: the way, this is the way. No, no, yeah, that's
- 26:56Speaker 2: what's working for you. And I'm gonna figure out what
- 26:58Speaker 2: works for me. And you know what, it may not
- 26:59Speaker 2: be working right, now. But I'm gonna figure it out.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Like there's gonna be a day where I'm not going
- 27:02Speaker 2: to be consuming Domino's pizza three days a week.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But right now, but mentally, that's that's the point. Right now,
- 27:10Speaker 1: Domino's and Perier, all right, put me on a couch.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Oh I want if mentally you're Oh my god. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: read something the other day that said that said it
- 27:20Speaker 1: was something about mental health, but it said, if today
- 27:26Speaker 1: you're only mental you can't judge your mental health compared
- 27:29Speaker 1: to others. If today you you're only mentally able to
- 27:34Speaker 1: keep yourself alive, then bravo you fucking did it every
- 27:39Speaker 1: day for me. Yeah, but like that's what some people are,
- 27:42Speaker 1: Like I'm a piece of trash. I laid in bed
- 27:44Speaker 1: all day and like, yeah, if that's what you had
- 27:47Speaker 1: to do, though, bravo you did it another day on earth.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Oh I love that.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Take the pressure off.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Well, this goes back to when we were talking about
- 27:55Speaker 2: just America being.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Just grind grind. When you're it's like, oh my god,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm so tired. Yeah, and I just woke up like
- 28:05Speaker 1: let me sleep. Oh my god. Okay, what's another question?
- 28:11Speaker 1: What is the most Okay, so this is wedding ideas global.
- 28:15Speaker 1: What is the most shocking that's her handle. What's the
- 28:18Speaker 1: most shocking thing about being a mommy that you weren't
- 28:21Speaker 1: ready for?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Oh, the most shocking thing about being a mom that
- 28:25Speaker 2: I was not ready for. I'm gonna be so freaking
- 28:29Speaker 2: honest right now. Yeah, having to not I don't want
- 28:34Speaker 2: to say having I get to because I'm there's so
- 28:36Speaker 2: many people out there that want to become moms and
- 28:39Speaker 2: it doesn't happen for them. So I'm very grateful. But
- 28:42Speaker 2: let's like really break it down. We can be honest.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Not being able to really just go and do whatever
- 28:51Speaker 2: the hell I want. Yeah, I no longer have that luxury.
- 28:57Speaker 2: If I want to go out and and eat somebody,
- 29:00Speaker 2: I got to think, who is this person?
- 29:03Speaker 1: Deep dive? I got a child to think about.
- 29:06Speaker 2: If I get a text from a boy and he's like,
- 29:08Speaker 2: oh my gosh, you should come over, and it's like can't.
- 29:12Speaker 2: I got my baby, which, again, all things that I
- 29:15Speaker 2: want to do. She's the love of my life. But
- 29:19Speaker 2: when people say to me, I don't really know if
- 29:21Speaker 2: I want kids, I'm like, if you don't know, don't
- 29:23Speaker 2: do it, because your life changes and I love.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Being a mom. She's the biggest blessing.
- 29:30Speaker 2: But I mean, I feel like sometimes as moms we
- 29:33Speaker 2: feel guilty for some thoughts that we have.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it's hard, hard in your life. Like
- 29:39Speaker 1: you said, your life changes, correct, it's never the same again.
- 29:43Speaker 1: You know.
- 29:43Speaker 2: When I have ocean, I know that I'm going to
- 29:47Speaker 2: have another person in the bath with me, right. I
- 29:50Speaker 2: don't get to just like put whatever soap that I
- 29:53Speaker 2: want in or a back bomb. It's like we're getting
- 29:55Speaker 2: in to just lukewarm water and I have to just
- 29:59Speaker 2: basically sit here. Which great because at the end of
- 30:03Speaker 2: the day, I want my kid all day every day.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I never want her to leave my side, you know,
- 30:08Speaker 2: Like I am going through a lot right now, and
- 30:12Speaker 2: that's what I want. Yeah, I would literally give anything
- 30:17Speaker 2: to have someone say here's your kid. She's with you
- 30:20Speaker 2: all day every day, and that's it. Like I would
- 30:23Speaker 2: give anything in the world.
- 30:25Speaker 1: To feel that.
- 30:28Speaker 2: But it's it's different, Like That's I think the most
- 30:31Speaker 2: shocking is you think when someone tells you, like your
- 30:34Speaker 2: life's gonna change, You're gonna have to think about another
- 30:38Speaker 2: person now, you know, and you're like, that's fine, I'm
- 30:41Speaker 2: ready it's like then they come and you're like, oh,
- 30:43Speaker 2: literally every move I make, you know, every time I
- 30:47Speaker 2: wake up, and it's like I don't want to work today,
- 30:50Speaker 2: It's like, well, bitch, you have better work today because
- 30:52Speaker 2: there's gonna be a day that Ocean needs to go
- 30:54Speaker 2: to school. And we live in Los Angeles, and I
- 30:56Speaker 2: need to know, like I can afford to put her
- 30:58Speaker 2: in private school if necessary, if she has needs that
- 31:03Speaker 2: you know are going to help her in school that
- 31:06Speaker 2: maybe I wasn't planning on, and just all these things
- 31:09Speaker 2: that you maybe don't expect, Yeah, your life revolves around them.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So there's the long answer to what I didn't expect.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's what I want to hear, though. That's what I
- 31:18Speaker 1: want to hear, just because I have heard over and
- 31:21Speaker 1: over again from my own mother how having a baby
- 31:24Speaker 1: it's going to change your life. You're gonna be a
- 31:26Speaker 1: brand new pert. You're gonna be it's the best decision
- 31:28Speaker 1: you can ever make. And I totally is yes, And
- 31:30Speaker 1: I hear that, and I hear it, and I hear
- 31:32Speaker 1: it's a miracle. I love it and I appreciate it.
- 31:34Speaker 1: But I also want to hear the other stuff too,
- 31:36Speaker 1: So like, tell me everything and like that, yes, if
- 31:40Speaker 1: you think, like your life will never be the same,
- 31:42Speaker 1: and people really need to hear that well.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Ariana being so open about like not wanting kids, and
- 31:47Speaker 2: we've had these conversations where I tell her, like, your life,
- 31:50Speaker 2: it's the biggest blessing in the world to have a baby.
- 31:53Speaker 1: But if you don't know that you want them, I'm
- 31:56Speaker 1: gonna be real with you don't have them, Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Because because your life is different, you don't get to
- 32:02Speaker 2: just say I'm gonna head to Vegas. I'm gonna I
- 32:04Speaker 2: want to take a weekend and go see my girlfriends
- 32:06Speaker 2: in New York, like whatever it may be, I want
- 32:08Speaker 2: to go camping. It's like, no, even the tiniest little
- 32:12Speaker 2: trip us packing for a fifty five minute drive to
- 32:15Speaker 2: Newport Beach is like packing to go to Europe.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't just like get in the No. Yeah.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I feel that way with a dog. When I met
- 32:23Speaker 1: Kyle and he was like, yeah, I have a dog,
- 32:25Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh, nowadays we can't just like we can't.
- 32:29Speaker 1: We don't pack and go let's go to Santa Barbara
- 32:31Speaker 1: for the weekend. We have to get a dog setter.
- 32:33Speaker 1: So I don't even I can't imagine how I would
- 32:35Speaker 1: be with a child. Yeah, so that's the most shocking thing.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I like, yeah, where are you in the saucy slash
- 32:44Speaker 1: Brittany situation? Switzerland? Question Mark? Oh where am I in
- 32:48Speaker 1: the Britney slash Stassy situation? No, I like this question.
- 32:53Speaker 2: I adore both of them. They're both my friends, I think,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and I preach this to everybody. If you don't feel
- 33:01Speaker 2: like someone has a place in your life anymore, for
- 33:03Speaker 2: whatever reason, then you have to you have to burn
- 33:09Speaker 2: the bridge. I mean Chris Medina, who's the psychic medium
- 33:12Speaker 2: who I love and a door always says well, has
- 33:16Speaker 2: said to me burn bridges and don't be afraid. And
- 33:19Speaker 2: I just think life is People say it all the time,
- 33:22Speaker 2: life is too short, but like, if you really think
- 33:24Speaker 2: about it, I mean, it flies by the other day.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I was just excited that we got picked up for
- 33:33Speaker 2: season ten and now it's wrapped.
- 33:34Speaker 1: We're done.
- 33:35Speaker 2: I know, we finished filming and that I feel like
- 33:38Speaker 2: I just blinked my eyes and I became funny with
- 33:40Speaker 2: time when my dad passed away and I realized how
- 33:44Speaker 2: in the world I had twenty seven years with this man,
- 33:46Speaker 2: and it felt like nothing, even though you have all
- 33:49Speaker 2: these memories. You're like, how is it gone?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 33:53Speaker 2: So I just I support them both, and however they're feeling, everybody,
- 33:59Speaker 2: I reserve the right to feel however the fuck.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I want to feel.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Right, you don't have to understand it. I don't have
- 34:04Speaker 2: to explain it to you. This is how I feel.
- 34:07Speaker 2: I feel like it's time to move on from the friendship,
- 34:11Speaker 2: and it seems like that's where what they decided to do.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I don't know much about the situation right because I'm
- 34:18Speaker 2: friends with both of them, and they're both very sweet,
- 34:22Speaker 2: and so you know, I just I go hang out
- 34:25Speaker 2: with Britt. I think I'm gonna see her today, and
- 34:28Speaker 2: then I'll hang out with Stas.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:29Speaker 3: And I support both of them.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I love them both. I think they're so sweet.
- 34:34Speaker 3: My another long winded answer for.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Me my opinion on just relationships in general. Life's too
- 34:40Speaker 1: short for relationships that don't serve you. It's just that
- 34:44Speaker 1: that's what you were saying. But just at this point
- 34:46Speaker 1: in my life, yes, and you don't have to have
- 34:48Speaker 1: a reason. Oh this friend and I don't click anymore. Sorry,
- 34:52Speaker 1: let's go our merry way.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And and I don't care if I end up
- 34:56Speaker 2: with ocean, you, my mom, and my brothers right right,
- 35:00Speaker 2: like bye, Yeah, I just want to be like, I
- 35:05Speaker 2: just want to be happy and feel free. So if
- 35:07Speaker 2: you're not adding to my.
- 35:08Speaker 1: World like be gone, Yeah, not saying I'm not saying that.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Like that's how they felt about each other, right, Obviously
- 35:15Speaker 2: they felt how they felt, yeah, and that's where they
- 35:17Speaker 2: are now.
- 35:18Speaker 1: But I support both of them in their journeys. I
- 35:21Speaker 1: love this one, La La, What advice would you give
- 35:24Speaker 1: your younger self? And that's from PACIFICA Harry, Sorry if
- 35:27Speaker 1: I didn't read the last handle.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Oh that's such a that's such a hard question because
- 35:34Speaker 2: I look back on every moment that I may have
- 35:39Speaker 2: regret or remorse and I'm like, okay, but where am
- 35:43Speaker 2: I right now? And without those moments would I be here?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Like I can look back at my life and say,
- 35:51Speaker 2: you know, I'm now going to AA meetings. I should
- 35:53Speaker 2: have never picked up that first drink, but I I'm
- 36:00Speaker 2: trying to make this make sense.
- 36:02Speaker 1: No, it makes sense.
- 36:03Speaker 2: But then we cut to where I am now and
- 36:05Speaker 2: I can look back and be like, there were a
- 36:07Speaker 2: lot of fun nights out before my alcoholism. Really kicked
- 36:11Speaker 2: int high gear because I'm the person who does believe
- 36:14Speaker 2: that it's a progressive disease. You may not have a
- 36:18Speaker 2: drinking problem in the moment, but it can certainly lead
- 36:20Speaker 2: to that. Again, that's my own thought, and I'm like, damn,
- 36:24Speaker 2: I had some really really fun nights out, you know,
- 36:29Speaker 2: you know, I can look back and not go like, oh,
- 36:31Speaker 2: I've never been drunk before. Then again here I am
- 36:34Speaker 2: going to AA meetings and then it's like okay. But
- 36:38Speaker 2: without that, I wouldn't be able to talk about addiction
- 36:43Speaker 2: and like help people who have reached out to me
- 36:46Speaker 2: and give them advice on that.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Vpr T. This is from TSA l R E. N Oh, sorry,
- 36:53Speaker 1: I don't know how to say it. Vpr T Raquel
- 36:55Speaker 1: and Sandy question mark, are you beefing with Raquel? Question mark? Oh,
- 37:01Speaker 1: I cannot say that.
- 37:03Speaker 2: You guys will have to watch season ten because I'm
- 37:07Speaker 2: not trying to get another email or call from my
- 37:10Speaker 2: production company that says, please shut your freaking out. Yeah. Yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 2: so I can't answer that, but you guys will see
- 37:18Speaker 2: it all play out. I'm I'm interested to see what
- 37:20Speaker 2: people people have to say, like their perspective.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Yes, I'm just excited for this season. I think it's
- 37:27Speaker 1: gonna be I think it's gonna be iconic.
- 37:29Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be pretty damn good.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I think it is too Okay, should we do one more? Yeah?
- 37:35Speaker 1: So this is from eest u ebs eest tubes. I
- 37:40Speaker 1: think that's how you say it. How are you really
- 37:43Speaker 1: doing mentally and emotionally throughout slash since filming season ten?
- 37:48Speaker 3: Ooh, I love this question.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Yeah, Filming season ten came at the perfect time because
- 37:56Speaker 2: just my life is weird.
- 37:58Speaker 1: My life is weird.
- 38:00Speaker 2: One day, I wake up and I'm like, you know what,
- 38:01Speaker 2: I'm strong, I'm gonna get the job done. Other days
- 38:05Speaker 2: I work wake up and I'm like, today's just gonna
- 38:08Speaker 2: be a little bit of a struggle. Yeah, we're feeling
- 38:10Speaker 2: a little defeated. Like I'll be honest, I have those moments.
- 38:13Speaker 1: We all do.
- 38:15Speaker 2: But filming vander Pump came at the perfect time because
- 38:19Speaker 2: even though there's a lot of drama, it can become
- 38:22Speaker 2: like a very strange and at times toxic environment. Just
- 38:26Speaker 2: like we were talking about earlier, there are times you
- 38:28Speaker 2: go into the workplace and you're like, I really fucking
- 38:30Speaker 2: hate Sally today.
- 38:31Speaker 1: She's a bitch, Salie.
- 38:33Speaker 2: She's a bitch in the best way Possible's the bitch.
- 38:39Speaker 1: She's a bad bitch.
- 38:40Speaker 2: But like she's stepping into a power position that like
- 38:43Speaker 2: I'm a little intimidated by whatever it may be is
- 38:45Speaker 2: you know.
- 38:49Speaker 3: So yeah, it just like took me out.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Of my my stuff.
- 38:56Speaker 2: You know, I love having something to occupy my time, right,
- 39:03Speaker 2: that makes sense?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that makes sense.
- 39:04Speaker 2: You know when I have I'm a virgo. You put
- 39:07Speaker 2: this virgo into give her free time. You're just giving
- 39:13Speaker 2: me a recipe to have my mind wander to crazy places.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I can't have it. I gotta have a.
- 39:19Speaker 2: To do list for the next day. And let's just
- 39:21Speaker 2: say I complete nothing on the to do list. It's like,
- 39:24Speaker 2: but at least I had it, Like I knew that
- 39:25Speaker 2: I should.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Have been business today.
- 39:27Speaker 2: It wasn't by choice, right, right, that I was, you know,
- 39:30Speaker 2: like I did, I wasn't busy by choice. Yeah, you know,
- 39:36Speaker 2: vander Pump asked me this.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Yeah, she was like, are are you really okay? Though,
- 39:43Speaker 1: I'm really okay. I'm actually really happy. Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 2: You know, like even with every this is how I
- 39:52Speaker 2: explain it. There's just one little like fucking fly, and
- 39:57Speaker 2: I can't quite kill you know, it's like I'm swatting.
- 40:01Speaker 1: You know, it ain't gonna ruin the day, right, It's annoying. Right,
- 40:06Speaker 1: we all have a fly though, we all have that something, Yes,
- 40:08Speaker 1: we all do that somewhere.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Like does the fly ruin your happiness? Are you like
- 40:13Speaker 2: this fly is ruining my happiness? No, it's just annoying, right,
- 40:19Speaker 2: And you know you'll take care of it. You know
- 40:21Speaker 2: he's gonna tuck her out and you'll find him dead
- 40:23Speaker 2: in the course at some point, you know. Yes, I
- 40:29Speaker 2: love this analogy how I feel, But I'm like mentally
- 40:36Speaker 2: I'm strong. Yeah, I can sit there and be like,
- 40:38Speaker 2: today's a shitty day, but guess what, shitty days don't
- 40:41Speaker 2: last forever. I may wake up tomorrow it could be
- 40:44Speaker 2: a great day. Guess what the rest of the week.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I could wake up and it could be not a
- 40:47Speaker 2: great day. But remember everything is temporary. Feelings are not forever.
- 40:53Speaker 1: They're just not.
- 40:54Speaker 2: They're not, you know, and I know that it seems
- 40:58Speaker 2: like they all and when you're in it, you feel
- 41:01Speaker 2: like you're drowning. It is so important for you to
- 41:04Speaker 2: take a moment. I don't care if you drop down
- 41:07Speaker 2: to your knees and pray. I don't care if you
- 41:09Speaker 2: saved your ass off. I don't care if you go
- 41:11Speaker 2: work out whatever it may be, to get yourself to
- 41:14Speaker 2: a place where you remember this is temporary and this
- 41:18Speaker 2: will not take me out.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I'll be damned.
- 41:20Speaker 2: I don't care if for the next month you are
- 41:23Speaker 2: feeling down in the dumps. It is temporary. Nothing is forever, and.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Coming from someone who because to me, I can't imagine
- 41:32Speaker 1: this pain, but who has lost her father, someone who
- 41:35Speaker 1: isn't very close to her father. You if that had
- 41:39Speaker 1: happened to me in the moment I think this, I'm done.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I'm a different person now, I'm never gonna be okay again.
- 41:45Speaker 1: And like, I'm sure you are feeling that in the moment,
- 41:48Speaker 1: and then now you look back at how you're feeling.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Of course, grief comes and waves, and grief is a
- 41:53Speaker 1: different beast than a lot of other emotions. But like,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you survived through that, and I look at someone like that,
- 42:00Speaker 1: like I couldn't imagine losing my father. I couldn't survive
- 42:02Speaker 1: through that, but you can. Yeah, And so it's just yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 2: And I'm no stranger to anxiety. I'm no stranger to depression.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And I know that a lot of my listeners or followers.
- 42:14Speaker 2: You know, there are things that are well above my
- 42:18Speaker 2: pay grade. You just never never shut out that you
- 42:26Speaker 2: can and will be happy.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Am I making any sense? Absolutely?
- 42:31Speaker 2: Absolutely, talk to somebody. Yeah, you know, we have science
- 42:35Speaker 2: for a reason. Don't just I can't stress that enough
- 42:39Speaker 2: that you will be Okay.
- 42:42Speaker 1: That's another good point too, is you have science for
- 42:44Speaker 1: a reason. I was just talking to a friend about
- 42:46Speaker 1: this and she said, I think something is She's been
- 42:48Speaker 1: depressed for a while. And she said, I think something
- 42:50Speaker 1: is chemically wrong. And I said, because I didn't ever
- 42:53Speaker 1: want to say, maybe you should look into medicine or
- 42:56Speaker 1: meet talking with your doctor about it. And she said
- 42:59Speaker 1: that to me, I think some think's chemically wrong. And
- 43:00Speaker 1: I was like, there you go. Why don't you talk
- 43:03Speaker 1: to someone about that. We are in the power position.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Okay, if you walk into a doctor and they tell
- 43:10Speaker 2: you X, Y and Z, and you feel like that
- 43:13Speaker 2: may not be right for you.
- 43:15Speaker 3: Take a different route.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Yeah, if you feel like it would be perfect for you.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Listen to yourself. You are in the position of power.
- 43:22Speaker 2: You own your body, heart and soul. Like, just listen
- 43:26Speaker 2: to yourself and remember that everything is temporary and you're
- 43:29Speaker 2: going to figure it out. So there's my heartfelt note.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I hope that that I like that we should end
- 43:35Speaker 2: on that.
- 43:35Speaker 1: We should end on that. I love you guys, so mad?
- 43:39Speaker 3: Whoa turn into a valley?
- 43:42Speaker 1: So mad? And you can keep it in. I don't
- 43:47Speaker 1: care whoa.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I've had one too many periods. I love you guys
- 43:53Speaker 2: so much. Thank you for listening to another episode of
- 43:55Speaker 2: the Give Them La La podcast. It's hump day. If
- 43:58Speaker 2: you want to throw back a little glass of wine,
- 44:01Speaker 2: hey have one for me. I love you, guys, and
- 44:04Speaker 2: I will catch you next week
