- 3:06Speaker 1: this morning I even did a quick video of me
- 3:09Speaker 1: getting dressed and uploaded it. No edits no nothing. Haven't
- 3:14Speaker 1: even done a spell check to see if a spell
- 3:16Speaker 1: checked everything right. But if your lovelies are higher, you
- 3:20Speaker 1: can see that this morning and hear about my insanity
- 3:24Speaker 1: from yesterday. Now, guys, today we've got more heartbreaking cases. Okay.
- 3:33Speaker 1: First up, we're going to share the story about Teresa
- 3:36Speaker 1: Ann Wallace, who was last seen on July twentieth, nineteen
- 3:41Speaker 1: ninety in Urbana, Illinois. Now Teresa was born on February
- 3:46Speaker 1: twenty first, nineteen forty six. She stood about five foot
- 3:49Speaker 1: three inches tall and weighed about one hundred and forty
- 3:53Speaker 1: five pounds at the time of her disappearance. Now, as
- 3:57Speaker 1: a teenager, Teresa suffered a traumatic brain injury in a
- 4:01Speaker 1: car accident that left her mildly mentally disabled. Okay. Now,
- 4:06Speaker 1: because of that injury, she had short term memory issues
- 4:10Speaker 1: poor sense of direction. Okay, that's me and I don't
- 4:14Speaker 1: have a traumatic brain injury. But she also had limited
- 4:17Speaker 1: judgment and was known to be overly trusting of people. Okay.
- 4:23Speaker 1: On the day she disappeared, Teresa made several phone calls
- 4:27Speaker 1: from her apartment on South Leerman Avenue. She told someone
- 4:31Speaker 1: she planned to go to the library. But guys, nobody
- 4:35Speaker 1: can show that she ever made it to the library. Okay.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Later that evening, her silver nineteen eighty five Chrysler Leberon
- 4:43Speaker 1: was spotted at Clark Lindsay Village, which is a retirement
- 4:47Speaker 1: home on Windsor Road, where, to the best of everyone's knowledge,
- 4:52Speaker 1: Teresa had no known connections. A guy or car was
- 4:56Speaker 1: found that she was never seen again. Now, when Teresa
- 5:01Speaker 1: fail to show up for church services, member of her
- 5:04Speaker 1: congregation at New Life Church grew concern and they contacted
- 5:09Speaker 1: her mother. Now, her mother officially reported her missing on
- 5:14Speaker 1: July twenty fourth, eight days after she was last seen.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That's a lot of time, guys, now, Like I said,
- 5:22Speaker 1: Teresa's car was found abandoned. Now, inside there were three
- 5:26Speaker 1: couch cushions in the back seat, none of which matched
- 5:30Speaker 1: any furniture she owned, and they didn't match each other,
- 5:34Speaker 1: nor did her family or friends recognize any of them. Now.
- 5:38Speaker 1: While investigating, investigators later learned that although Teresa often visited
- 5:43Speaker 1: a local furniture store, no couches sold there matched the
- 5:47Speaker 1: mysterious cushions, and so far, no one's come forward to
- 5:52Speaker 1: sing about the cushions. Now. Her car was also missing
- 5:57Speaker 1: the vast number of religious pamphlets normally kept in the
- 6:01Speaker 1: front compartment, and the steering wheel was tilted higher than
- 6:06Speaker 1: she would have needed, suggesting someone else may have been
- 6:10Speaker 1: the last to drive it. Yeah, that's that's interesting. Now.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Her purse, keys, and personal belongings were not inside, and
- 6:20Speaker 1: they have never been found. Now. Family members describe Teresa
- 6:26Speaker 1: as kind gentle and deeply religious, someone who longed for
- 6:30Speaker 1: friendship and attention. Sadly, her trusting nature may have made
- 6:36Speaker 1: her vulnerable. Her sister shared that Teresa often talked to
- 6:41Speaker 1: strangers or babies and strollers, unaware that it made others uncomfortable. Guys,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if someone comes up and they just start talking to you,
- 6:52Speaker 1: it's okay to just talk to them and be kind. Okay,
- 6:56Speaker 1: And I go up and approach all dogs. In fact,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I need a shure that says must pedal dogs. Okay,
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's okay now. They also said Teresa moved frequently and
- 7:08Speaker 1: attended multiple churches. Okay. Now, after she had received a
- 7:14Speaker 1: settlement from that car accident, she was known to give
- 7:17Speaker 1: money and items away to people she barely knew. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: read one article she gave her car away to somebody
- 7:25Speaker 1: who she thought. They said they needed a car, so
- 7:27Speaker 1: she just gave it to them. So she had a
- 7:29Speaker 1: very kind heart. Now, her disappearance added to the family's
- 7:34Speaker 1: deep grief. Okay, guys, the family had already lost a
- 7:40Speaker 1: baby girl in a house fire in the nineteen sixties,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and they lost a brother named Daniel in a car accident.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's a lot of loss for parents, and then guys two,
- 7:55Speaker 1: they lost two more daughters after Teresa vanished. That's a
- 8:01Speaker 1: lot of loss in a family, guys. Now, her younger
- 8:05Speaker 1: sister says she sometimes thinks she sees Teresa out the
- 8:09Speaker 1: corner of her eye, a reminder of the heartbreak and
- 8:13Speaker 1: unanswered questions that remains. Is this case? It makes me
- 8:19Speaker 1: scratch my head. How on the heck did no one
- 8:23Speaker 1: see anything? How does a person just disappear without a trace? Okay?
- 8:29Speaker 1: I also, and I'm not going to get into all
- 8:31Speaker 1: the different churches. She was seeking answers to something, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: she did attend some churches that may have some cult
- 8:43Speaker 1: like tendencies. And because she had money from that car settlement.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It really makes me wonder, now, Lama, I know is
- 8:53Speaker 1: in the chat? Lama? I'm thinking cult and church is involved.
- 8:58Speaker 1: What about you? Are you getting any of those vibes?
- 9:02Speaker 1: I don't know. Just I don't know something, because why
- 9:05Speaker 1: would they take all the religious pamphlets? And if she
- 9:07Speaker 1: had just changed churches again, maybe the former. I don't know.
- 9:12Speaker 1: There's me going down conspiracy things, which I'm normally pretty
- 9:15Speaker 1: good about not doing. But guys, someone must have seen
- 9:19Speaker 1: something or knows something the car steering waves tilted up,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and three cushions that can't be explained, and all of
- 9:30Speaker 1: the pamphlets were gone and all of her belongings. So
- 9:33Speaker 1: somebody out there knows something. So I'm begging you. If
- 9:36Speaker 1: you have any information about what happened to Teresa Ahn Wallace,
- 9:41Speaker 1: please contact the Urbana Police Department at two one seven
- 9:45Speaker 1: three eighty four two three two zero. Guys, this family
- 9:51Speaker 1: deserves answers. They've had a lot of loss. I mean,
- 9:56Speaker 1: these parents lost four children and then I've got one missing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Let's share this, Okay. They deserve to get some answers. Okay. Now,
- 10:10Speaker 1: if you know of someone in your area locally that
- 10:14Speaker 1: is missing, or if you have a loved one that's
- 10:18Speaker 1: missing and you're interested in having their story featured on
- 10:21Speaker 1: an upcoming episode, or maybe even join us for a
- 10:25Speaker 1: live interview, you can contact Amy, our producer, by emailing
- 10:31Speaker 1: Amy at tcwtmedia dot com, or you can send us
- 10:36Speaker 1: a DM on any of our social media accounts. Okay,
- 10:40Speaker 1: any of them, feel free to reach out to us now, Guys.
- 10:47Speaker 1: On October fourth, nineteen ninety, twenty eight year old Robyn
- 10:51Speaker 1: Renee Abrams disappeared from Beach Or, Illinois, leaving behind a
- 10:56Speaker 1: family desperate for answers and a pay per trayal of fear, courage,
- 11:04Speaker 1: and betrayal. Now Robin was born on August thirteenth, nineteen
- 11:09Speaker 1: sixty two, and was described as bright, determined, and compassionate. Now.
- 11:15Speaker 1: She stood five ft tall weighed around one hundred and
- 11:18Speaker 1: seventy pounds at the time of her disappearance. Now Robin
- 11:22Speaker 1: was last seen wearing a white nip pullover, black leather jacket,
- 11:26Speaker 1: black slacks, black patent leather shoes, and a gold pinky ring.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Now in the early evening of October fourth, Robin and
- 11:36Speaker 1: her father crossed paths on good Now Road in Beecher Now.
- 11:42Speaker 1: They waved each other as they passed, Okay, a small
- 11:46Speaker 1: everyday jester neither of them could have known would be
- 11:50Speaker 1: their last. Later that night, around ten pm, witnesses reported
- 11:56Speaker 1: seeing two men in a tow truck drop off a
- 12:00Speaker 1: red nineteen eighty nine dodged a tona hatchback in Harvey, Illinois,
- 12:05Speaker 1: which is about thirty miles away Now. The doors were locked,
- 12:10Speaker 1: the keys were still in the ignision, and Robert's camera
- 12:14Speaker 1: sat inside that there was no sign of her. Okay, guys,
- 12:19Speaker 1: red flag alert, Okay, who was driving the tow truck?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Who called the tow truck? Where did the vehicle get
- 12:27Speaker 1: towed from? Because guys, I'm assuming tow truck drivers keep records. Okay.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I looked and I couldn't find anything. I mean, how
- 12:38Speaker 1: a tow truck has to have permission to tow a vehicle,
- 12:41Speaker 1: right unless it's parked in a parking lot where the
- 12:45Speaker 1: business is paying for people. Somebody's got to know where
- 12:48Speaker 1: that truck came from. Maybe the police knowing, they're just
- 12:51Speaker 1: not telling. Maybe they're thinking, Terry, you don't need to know,
- 12:54Speaker 1: but I need to know, because that's a red flag. Now, Guys,
- 12:59Speaker 1: at three am, a neighbor call police to report someone
- 13:02Speaker 1: breaking into the car. Now, when investigators arrived, they learned
- 13:07Speaker 1: it belonged to Robin okay. Now, three days later, her
- 13:11Speaker 1: purse was found in a nearby neighborhood. Her wallet was
- 13:15Speaker 1: still inside, but all of her credit cards were gone.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Still no signs of Robin Okay. Also, who picks up
- 13:26Speaker 1: a vehicle, has a tow truck and then just drops
- 13:30Speaker 1: it at a random place. Normally they tow a vehicle,
- 13:33Speaker 1: it goes to an impound lot. Okay, Now, guys, buckle up, okay,
- 13:44Speaker 1: and Terry's going to try to try to control a
- 13:46Speaker 1: ranch just a little bit. Let me get a bit
- 13:47Speaker 1: drink of water. Because understand Robin's disappearance. We have to
- 13:54Speaker 1: go back to nineteen eighty seven. Okay, that's when she
- 13:57Speaker 1: met Anthony Tony Marquez, who was a Will County Sheriff's deputy.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Now she medt him when she was working at McDonald's.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Now Marquez encouraged her to join the police department, and
- 14:11Speaker 1: by January nineteen eighty eight, Robin was working as a
- 14:15Speaker 1: deputy herself. What she didn't know at first was it
- 14:20Speaker 1: Tony Marquez was married. Yeah. Now, thankfully, guy. In today's time,
- 14:27Speaker 1: we have tools so we can find out if people
- 14:30Speaker 1: or who they say they are. I mean, I suggest
- 14:33Speaker 1: running a general Google check and even a background check
- 14:36Speaker 1: if you can on a new potential love interest. Guys,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I've said this before over in True crime. In one time,
- 14:43Speaker 1: when I first met DOUBLEH, I was a single mom.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I owned a business. He asked me out. I said, okay,
- 14:51Speaker 1: he wanted to pick me up at my house. I
- 14:53Speaker 1: was like, you don't need to know where to live.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You don't need to know where Mackez. Nope, not doing it,
- 14:57Speaker 1: And he was like, well, I was raised to pick
- 14:59Speaker 1: a girl up at our house. So I said, well,
- 15:01Speaker 1: the only way of doing that is if you give
- 15:03Speaker 1: me your driver's license, copy of it and your sole
- 15:06Speaker 1: security number so I can run a full background check.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And guess what, I ran a full background check on
- 15:11Speaker 1: myself and gave it to him. He let me run
- 15:14Speaker 1: one on him. He picked me up at my house.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Here we are twenty three years later. Now Tony and
- 15:22Speaker 1: Robin's relationship quickly turned toxic. Okay. In October nineteen eighty eight,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Marquees allegedly rammed a vehicle while Robin was driving, with
- 15:33Speaker 1: her mother in the passenger seat. Now Robin broke off
- 15:39Speaker 1: their relationship okay, and she later filed a harassment complaint
- 15:44Speaker 1: saying Tony Marquez had slashed her tires multiple times. Now
- 15:49Speaker 1: Tony was charged with criminal damage to property, but the
- 15:53Speaker 1: case was dismissed for lack of evidence. Okay. Soon after,
- 15:57Speaker 1: the Sheriff's Department terminated Robin's employment, just two weeks before
- 16:03Speaker 1: her probationary period was set to end. Okay, guys, red
- 16:08Speaker 1: flag alert again, this is suspicious to me because I
- 16:12Speaker 1: can't help but think she was terminated because they took
- 16:16Speaker 1: his side, because he was the man, and he had
- 16:20Speaker 1: been a deputy longer, and guys, he was twelve years
- 16:23Speaker 1: older than her. I think, Okay, I get, I'm an HR.
- 16:30Speaker 1: You can terminate somebody with an approbation area period, no
- 16:33Speaker 1: questions asked. Maybe they just didn't want the drama surrounding
- 16:39Speaker 1: their relationship. Okay, the guys. Then the tables turned, of
- 16:45Speaker 1: course they did. Tony began following harassment complaints against her,
- 16:51Speaker 1: leading to multiple arrests for disorderly conduct and reckless driving. Guys,
- 16:56Speaker 1: all of those charges were either dismissed or ended in
- 16:59Speaker 1: a quittle. She was found she didn't do it h now.
- 17:05Speaker 1: In November of nineteen eighty nine, Robin obtained an order
- 17:08Speaker 1: of protection against Tony Marquez, accusing him of stalking and
- 17:14Speaker 1: making false reports. That order was extended through November twenty seventh,
- 17:18Speaker 1: nineteen ninety guys. A month later, in December, Robin filed
- 17:25Speaker 1: a federal civil rights lawsuit against Tony and seven members
- 17:31Speaker 1: of the Will County Sheriff's Department. She claimed wrongful termination,
- 17:36Speaker 1: sexual harassment, and civil rights violations. Guys. She was scheduled
- 17:44Speaker 1: to give her deposition on October twenty second, nineteen ninety,
- 17:48Speaker 1: but she disappeared eighteen days before that date. Another red
- 17:56Speaker 1: flag alirt. Guys. Seriously, how did Tony and the other
- 18:00Speaker 1: seven not have all police up in their bits? Okay,
- 18:06Speaker 1: this is another one of those not quinkydink things in
- 18:09Speaker 1: my opinions, because I don't believe in quinkydinks. That is
- 18:14Speaker 1: sus as hell that she goes missing after following that
- 18:19Speaker 1: federal soul conflict of interests the Illinois State Police took
- 18:28Speaker 1: from the Will County Sheriff's Department Illinois State Police. I
- 18:33Speaker 1: like to give credit where credit is due now. Finally,
- 18:38Speaker 1: Tony Marquez was fired from the department in December nineteen ninety. Guys.
- 18:43Speaker 1: He has never been charged in connection with Robin's disappearance.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Her lawsuit was later dismissed against total all others because
- 18:56Speaker 1: Robin could not be located. Guys, this is why I
- 19:02Speaker 1: think she went missing, Okay, because she filed suit against
- 19:07Speaker 1: them and they knew the gig was up. Now, for years,
- 19:11Speaker 1: Robin's case went cold, but her sister, Jodi refused to
- 19:15Speaker 1: give up. Okay, she contacted reporter pressured investigators, and she
- 19:20Speaker 1: pushed for justice. Okay, Now, twenty fourteen, a grand jury
- 19:26Speaker 1: was convened to review evidence in the case, bringing renewed
- 19:30Speaker 1: hope to the family. Sadly came from those proceedings were
- 19:36Speaker 1: sealed and no charges followed. Now, in twenty seventeen, investigators
- 19:43Speaker 1: executed a search warrant at a Joliette property tied to
- 19:47Speaker 1: one of Tony Marquez's relatives. Now, forensic teams broke open
- 19:52Speaker 1: a base floor that had been freshly poured soon after
- 19:57Speaker 1: Robin vanished. Reportedly, it was poured by Tony Marquez's stepbrothers. Guys,
- 20:04Speaker 1: there's a whole rudded rabbit hole you can go down
- 20:08Speaker 1: about that. I'll let you go find it. Now, authorities
- 20:12Speaker 1: have never disclosed what they found if okay, they're not
- 20:17Speaker 1: saying what was beneath that concrete floor. No arrests were made,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and the search kind of ended quietly. Now for decades,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Robin's family has a election and cover up within law enforcement,
- 20:31Speaker 1: believing theriginal investigation was compromised from the start. I'm going
- 20:36Speaker 1: to say I agree with them based off of my
- 20:39Speaker 1: limited knowledge. Because if you see smoke, there's probably flames
- 20:46Speaker 1: or a fire or ashes that could ignite it. Okay,
- 20:50Speaker 1: now interesting enough. I retired Will County lieutenant who continue
- 20:56Speaker 1: looking into the case long after retirement publicly as criticized
- 21:01Speaker 1: how it was handled, calling it a like homicide that
- 21:06Speaker 1: was never treated as one. He went on to say
- 21:10Speaker 1: the original investigators were from the same department she accused,
- 21:16Speaker 1: key witnesses were never subpoened outside forensic offers were declined,
- 21:23Speaker 1: and guess what else? Crucial evidence was never properly preserved.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Makes me wonder if they used red solo cups and
- 21:34Speaker 1: the grocery store garbage bag. Colm, I like the Commonwealth,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I don't know now. Robin's family has carried the burden
- 21:43Speaker 1: of not knowing for more than three decades. They remember
- 21:48Speaker 1: her as a diligent, driven, and kind and she was
- 21:52Speaker 1: a young woman who dreamed of attending law school and
- 21:56Speaker 1: building a better future. Guys ended the night she vanished
- 22:04Speaker 1: something else scary. Before she disappeared, Robin told her family,
- 22:10Speaker 1: if anything ever happens to me, look at Tony. Guys.
- 22:17Speaker 1: That is her saying, check this dude out. I mean,
- 22:23Speaker 1: this is haunting me and it pisses me off. Just
- 22:26Speaker 1: that statement alone, should have given Tony a one way
- 22:29Speaker 1: ticket to a law enforcement colonoscopy. In my opinion, they
- 22:34Speaker 1: should have been all up in his bits because remind you,
- 22:36Speaker 1: she also found out he was married, which he had
- 22:38Speaker 1: lied about. Okay. I'm not saying just because you're a cheater,
- 22:43Speaker 1: you're a killer. I'm not. But I'm saying, if there
- 22:48Speaker 1: is that much harassment, she's got a protective order and
- 22:52Speaker 1: it was extended, so she must have had enough evidence
- 22:55Speaker 1: for them to agree. I once again, I know people
- 22:59Speaker 1: have the right to incriminate themself, but seriously, Okay, now
- 23:05Speaker 1: it's been more than thirty years, Okay, her words still
- 23:09Speaker 1: a code as loudly as a silence that followed her disappearance.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm asking you if you know any information, if you
- 23:17Speaker 1: heard rumors, okay about the disappearance of Robin Renee Abrams,
- 23:23Speaker 1: please contact the Illinois State Police at eight one five
- 23:27Speaker 1: two six six two nine one. And if you happen
- 23:31Speaker 1: to be related to Tony Marquez or friends with him
- 23:35Speaker 1: or former wife, former girlfriend, reach out to me. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: would love to know your thoughts on Tony because it
- 23:45Speaker 1: is sus is hell. Why was he fired? Employment records
- 23:51Speaker 1: are sealed can't find out, I need to know, and
- 23:55Speaker 1: if it's similar to the case like Bianca in San Antonio,
- 24:00Speaker 1: where police have told her family we know her husband
- 24:05Speaker 1: probably killed her. But until we have our body, we're
- 24:07Speaker 1: not doing anything. If it's something like that, shame on you. Okay,
- 24:13Speaker 1: shame on you. Nobody cases are one all the time.
- 24:17Speaker 1: It's no longer as hard as it used to be,
- 24:20Speaker 1: So do the right thing. If you know something, please
- 24:26Speaker 1: tell Okay. Now, I also want to remind you that
- 24:31Speaker 1: you can join our Facebook group if you want Midday Missing.
- 24:34Speaker 1: We post all of our missing missing person posters there
- 24:40Speaker 1: as well as share other posters. But guess what, we
- 24:43Speaker 1: now are posting the missing person posters on Terry True
- 24:48Speaker 1: Crime on all of my diferent social media accounts because
- 24:52Speaker 1: so many of you reached out and you're like, hey,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I don't do the book face. So it is so
