- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: This is the almost Famous podcast, and we are back.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We are back with our wonderful guest co host Rachel.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Hello, Welcome, Hello, Ben, Hi everyone.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Ashley will be back next week, she is telling us,
- 0:22Speaker 2: so if all goes well, which we hope it does,
- 0:24Speaker 2: she will be.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Back with us.
- 0:26Speaker 2: But we have an incredible, filling guest with us today
- 0:29Speaker 2: and we're gonna start out, Rachel, We're talking about two
- 0:31Speaker 2: big things in Bachelor Nation before we get into the
- 0:34Speaker 2: breakdown of this episode.
- 0:35Speaker 4: We are going to do both today.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Because there isn't a lot happening in Bachelor Nation, but
- 0:39Speaker 2: there's two pretty big stories that we thought we had
- 0:42Speaker 2: to talk about. The first one is this Jed Wyatt
- 0:45Speaker 2: got married. He got married this last weekend. The quote
- 0:50Speaker 2: is this the best day of our lives and the
- 0:53Speaker 2: beginning of this new chapter together. All right, Rachel, I
- 0:59Speaker 2: don't even know if you watched that season of The Bachelorette?
- 1:02Speaker 4: Did you?
- 1:03Speaker 3: I did. It's been a while though. All I know
- 1:07Speaker 3: is I had a lot of similarities to her ending,
- 1:10Speaker 3: but very happy for Jed. Of course, I've never met him,
- 1:14Speaker 3: do you know him?
- 1:15Speaker 2: I have met Jed. He's been at a few of
- 1:17Speaker 2: our events. It is really good and great that he
- 1:21Speaker 2: found love. His wife's name is Ellen Decker. It's obvious
- 1:27Speaker 2: that Jed has moved far beyond his time on the show.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Ellen is a fitness coach, and the couple married in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Among their guests were Bachelor Franchise alums Hannah Godwin and
- 1:41Speaker 2: Dylan Barber, along with NFL VET Bryce Treggs.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It was a beautiful outdoor wedding. We're very excited for them.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And obviously if you go back to his season, which
- 1:54Speaker 2: was Hannah Brown season, Hannah's engaged as well, so you
- 1:56Speaker 2: know what, they're both finding love.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It all works out. Very happy for Gibe. Congratulations.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It's very sweet, all right.
- 2:06Speaker 2: The next headline is one that I don't want to
- 2:08Speaker 2: talk about. Uh, one that I'm pretty upset about. M
- 2:13Speaker 2: Victora Fuller has a new boyfriend. That's not the reason
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'm upset. Obviously, we were wondering. It was just recently
- 2:20Speaker 2: that we found out that Greg Grippo and Victoria Fuller
- 2:23Speaker 2: were no longer together. They were pretty public with their relationship, obviously,
- 2:26Speaker 2: kind of announcing it on a live show, so Bachelination
- 2:30Speaker 2: was very very much involved in their story.
- 2:32Speaker 3: With the matching tattoo.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's gonna be weird, now, tattoo, that's gonna that's
- 2:39Speaker 2: a That's one that you have to explain yourself. I
- 2:41Speaker 2: really like Victoria. Victoria Fuller is somebody I enjoy being around.
- 2:46Speaker 2: She is a lot of fun. She has always been
- 2:49Speaker 2: a lot of fun. So I say all of this
- 2:53Speaker 2: making sure everybody knows I like Victoria. I do not
- 2:57Speaker 2: like her boyfriend. Why because I'm Boltz fan.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh my god, isn't hew to the team.
- 3:04Speaker 4: It doesn't matter.
- 3:05Speaker 2: He is the quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, which are
- 3:08Speaker 2: division arrivals of the Indianapolis Colts. It also happens to
- 3:11Speaker 2: be the Titans are my in laws, my brother in law,
- 3:16Speaker 2: my wife. I think I've convinced to go to the
- 3:18Speaker 2: other direction. It's their favorite team. Will Levis is Victoria
- 3:22Speaker 2: Fuller's new announced boyfriend. They've been together now for a
- 3:26Speaker 2: few weeks at least, because speculation had already started to happen.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I just didn't want to believe it because I like
- 3:31Speaker 2: Victoria and and honestly her husband.
- 3:36Speaker 4: He's a joke, like the.
- 3:39Speaker 2: How dare she really she cannot she cannot go to
- 3:44Speaker 2: a rival team. Of mind, she could have dated anybody
- 3:47Speaker 2: else in the NFL other than the starting quarterback for
- 3:50Speaker 2: the Tennessee Titans.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I think.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I do too. No, I do.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I think she thought in her mind, She's like, you
- 3:56Speaker 2: know what's be really funny is if I found this
- 4:02Speaker 2: six foot five, two hundred and forty pound ripped starting
- 4:06Speaker 2: quarterback for the Tennessee Titans somehow attractive and I started
- 4:10Speaker 2: dating him, knowing it would hurt Ben so much.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I kind of love this for her and I heard
- 4:16Speaker 3: he's like twenty five. She's in her like cougar era.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: We've always referenced Victoria Fuller here to have that like
- 4:26Speaker 2: on this podcast as like this like like sexy energy,
- 4:30Speaker 2: like Ashley has a name for it. I forget what
- 4:31Speaker 2: exactly is, but like she just kind of like exudes
- 4:34Speaker 2: this kind of like not cougar yet, because it's hard to.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Be a cougar when you're like.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Just joking.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah no, but I think you're right. I think now
- 4:44Speaker 2: she is. She's like, you know what, I still got it.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I'm good for her. And she was like I saw
- 4:50Speaker 3: her TikTok and she was talking about like moving on,
- 4:53Speaker 3: and I was surprised too. I don't know if you
- 4:55Speaker 3: saw that she was talking about picking out brains with Greg.
- 5:01Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, she.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Was like going from that and then talking about moving
- 5:05Speaker 3: on and how it gets better and how she's met
- 5:08Speaker 3: someone that's like a stand up guy. I was like,
- 5:10Speaker 3: good for you, she's been through it. I'm happy for her.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it's but I can't even say I'm happy for
- 5:18Speaker 2: I like her, but I'm not. I can't say I'm happy.
- 5:20Speaker 4: For I hope. I hope the two of them.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Get married and somehow he decides to retire from football
- 5:28Speaker 2: way too early, and the two of them, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 2: skip off into the sunset, and then I'd be like, hey,
- 5:34Speaker 2: this is a great couple.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Maybe she'll distract him this season.
- 5:37Speaker 4: That's right, Maybe that's why she's doing it. We have
- 5:40Speaker 4: a big show to talk about. Obviously.
- 5:42Speaker 2: The most recent episode of The Bachelorette has now aired.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It is season or it is episode four of season
- 5:49Speaker 2: twenty one of the Bachelorette. They're moving on from Australia
- 5:54Speaker 2: and they're now going to New Zealand. I've never been
- 5:56Speaker 2: to New Zealand.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Have you I have not bucket letus now.
- 6:01Speaker 2: It's always fun to watch a place I've never been
- 6:03Speaker 2: to on the show because it makes you go, hey,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I either want to go here or I don't. But
- 6:08Speaker 2: the men are now in New Zealand along with Jin.
- 6:12Speaker 2: This episode was really wasn't full of twists and turns,
- 6:17Speaker 2: I think, but it was full of some big moments.
- 6:20Speaker 4: That we've kind of been waiting for.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Obviously, Jesse and Jen have a conversation at the beginning
- 6:26Speaker 2: of the episode. I want to hear from you. Jesse
- 6:28Speaker 2: was not the host of the show when I was
- 6:29Speaker 2: on the show. How is Jesse in these moments?
- 6:32Speaker 4: How like?
- 6:34Speaker 3: You know?
- 6:34Speaker 2: I think one thing that made Chris really special was
- 6:37Speaker 2: in those moments. He made it seem and I think
- 6:42Speaker 2: because of who he is. It felt very genuine. It
- 6:44Speaker 2: felt like I was talking to a buddy. It felt
- 6:46Speaker 2: like he actually cared. It felt like he wasn't just
- 6:48Speaker 2: doing it because they called him up and took him
- 6:50Speaker 2: off the golf course to come and talk to me.
- 6:51Speaker 2: It actually felt like he had actually wanted to be
- 6:53Speaker 2: in that moment.
- 6:54Speaker 4: How is Jesse?
- 6:55Speaker 3: I was actually Jesse's first season of the Bachelor and Bachelor,
- 7:00Speaker 3: so we kind of learned this together. So I feel
- 7:04Speaker 3: like I have a really special relationship with Jesse, like
- 7:07Speaker 3: so many moments like he had with Jen, where I
- 7:10Speaker 3: was just crying. You're in like such a crazy environment
- 7:14Speaker 3: and to have someone who has done it before. I
- 7:16Speaker 3: think that's the thing that Jesse is really helpful with,
- 7:19Speaker 3: where he's kind of been through what you're going through.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I love them. I loved the lore of Jesse that
- 7:26Speaker 3: they were playing about why we couldn't eat on the dates.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I thought that was funny.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Remind me of that he.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Is the reason why as leads and when you're on
- 7:39Speaker 3: those one on ones that you can't eat because they
- 7:42Speaker 3: were showing the replay of him like eating on his
- 7:46Speaker 3: dates like mouth full, and it just looked so horrific,
- 7:49Speaker 3: And I didn't know that's why we couldn't do that.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Interesting. I didn't know that either.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I've always I always knew we It's one of the
- 7:56Speaker 2: most common questions you get r why don't they eat
- 7:59Speaker 2: on the dates? And I always used the excuse, well,
- 8:02Speaker 2: the food's been out for two hours, like I don't
- 8:04Speaker 2: want to eat lobster.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it's on camera, and now we know because they
- 8:10Speaker 3: showed clips of Jesse doing it on his dates, So
- 8:13Speaker 3: thank you Jesse. No, I know.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Well, their conversation is just kind of a catch up
- 8:21Speaker 2: like we see on most seasons. The host is talking
- 8:23Speaker 2: to the lead. Then Jen meets up with the guys
- 8:26Speaker 2: in Auckland and she asked sam M that sam M
- 8:32Speaker 2: as in Mary, to go on a one on one date.
- 8:35Speaker 2: This is one on one date. I think every fan
- 8:38Speaker 2: has been anxious to see. The headlines this week were
- 8:41Speaker 2: full of kind of sam M and his family coming
- 8:46Speaker 2: out and commenting on how he feels like and they
- 8:49Speaker 2: feel like the show is portraying him in a bad light.
- 8:51Speaker 2: That's not who he is, they're saying.
- 8:53Speaker 4: And so one of.
- 8:54Speaker 2: The ways that I think the fans are waiting to see, well,
- 8:57Speaker 2: let's actually see you. You know, how this goes is
- 9:00Speaker 2: through a one on one? What are we going to
- 9:02Speaker 2: get out of Samm on this one on one?
- 9:04Speaker 4: Rachel?
- 9:04Speaker 2: I'll let you, as a lead, take us through this date,
- 9:09Speaker 2: sharing your opinions on how you feel like sam M
- 9:12Speaker 2: did so.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I think that Week four in general is just a
- 9:19Speaker 3: week where you're starting to get like really tired as
- 9:23Speaker 3: the lead. And I feel like in each season, you
- 9:26Speaker 3: watch that week and you can kind of tell they're
- 9:28Speaker 3: exhausted and going into the state. I could just tell
- 9:31Speaker 3: that Jen was just kind of a little bit like overwhelmed,
- 9:36Speaker 3: a little tired. I think he was really excited. They're
- 9:40Speaker 3: going onto this date. They're going into this like tower,
- 9:43Speaker 3: I forget what it's called, like one of the tallest
- 9:45Speaker 3: towers in Auckland, and you know they're jumping off it
- 9:48Speaker 3: because they're already alluding to like that's what you do.
- 9:53Speaker 3: And they're sitting down right, they're having this conversation and
- 9:58Speaker 3: I don't know, the the whole thing felt a little
- 10:01Speaker 3: awkward to me. How did you feel?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think and I want to hear why.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I mean, it definitely was awkward. I think most people
- 10:08Speaker 2: will watch that and say it just felt it felt
- 10:14Speaker 2: like there was a gap kind of in how they
- 10:16Speaker 2: were communicating to each other. I want to hear your
- 10:20Speaker 2: ideas for why that was happening, because it wasn't like
- 10:23Speaker 2: either of them were necessarily messing up.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I did. I will share this.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I did feel like Jen at some point was kind
- 10:33Speaker 2: of like, hey, Sam, talk to me like a human,
- 10:35Speaker 2: don't use the lines, don't say the right thing. Stop
- 10:40Speaker 2: just saying this stuff, like talk to me like a
- 10:42Speaker 2: human being, and like that's this moment. I did feel
- 10:44Speaker 2: like that was one of the reasons. But what other
- 10:46Speaker 2: reasons did you feel like made for kind of the
- 10:48Speaker 2: awkwardness in there, you know, sit down talk.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I think it was really obvious that Jen didn't want
- 10:56Speaker 3: to jump, and he was kind of making those decisions
- 11:00Speaker 3: for her. But I felt like when he was doing it,
- 11:02Speaker 3: it was more in like a oh, yeah, like we're here,
- 11:05Speaker 3: we're on the Bachelorette, let's jump, let's have these memories together.
- 11:09Speaker 3: But she took it as, oh, he's not listening to me,
- 11:12Speaker 3: and instead of I guess having that open communication and
- 11:16Speaker 3: being like, listen, I get that you're excited, but I
- 11:18Speaker 3: really don't want to do this. It felt like she
- 11:21Speaker 3: was almost like wanting him to read her mind a little.
- 11:25Speaker 3: But we've all been there. I've been there. You know
- 11:28Speaker 3: you want that person to read your energy, and I
- 11:30Speaker 3: just feel like he was not getting that up until
- 11:33Speaker 3: like the very last moment when she cried and then
- 11:37Speaker 3: he understood where she was coming from.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I think you're spot on, if I'm honest with you, Rachel,
- 11:43Speaker 2: I was watching Sam m in this moment, I was like,
- 11:45Speaker 2: that would be me, what he was doing would be
- 11:48Speaker 2: how I would treat that moment, because in my mind
- 11:53Speaker 2: it takes me a while to pick up on what's
- 11:56Speaker 2: not being said. If you want to communicate with me
- 11:59Speaker 2: and you want me to know how you feel, you
- 12:00Speaker 2: have to pretty much like yell it in my face.
- 12:03Speaker 4: You have to tell me or I'm not picking up
- 12:05Speaker 4: on it.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I also get very excited and overwhelmed about memorable moments,
- 12:11Speaker 2: moments that I think will create a memory that will
- 12:14Speaker 2: last us a long time. I also have always liked
- 12:17Speaker 2: to see people out of their comfort zones because I
- 12:20Speaker 2: have a hard time getting out of my own my
- 12:22Speaker 2: own comfort zone, and so when I've mentally got myself
- 12:26Speaker 2: to say no, I'm going to do it, I'm going
- 12:27Speaker 2: to push myself here, I want whoever's with me to
- 12:30Speaker 2: also get to that place. And it's caused me a
- 12:33Speaker 2: lot of issues and friendships and relationships in my life
- 12:36Speaker 2: because I sometimes have to like check myself and be
- 12:38Speaker 2: like WHOA, yeah, you know what, I was being a
- 12:41Speaker 2: little bit too much there. I do think Sam was
- 12:44Speaker 2: too much. I don't think he was exactly what you
- 12:47Speaker 2: call supportive in that moment. I just don't have a
- 12:51Speaker 2: lot of criticism for him because I know that would
- 12:54Speaker 2: be me.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Also, yeah, it was just an awkward situation because I
- 12:59Speaker 3: also think about the men talking in the house and
- 13:02Speaker 3: Marcus coming back from his day and being like, we
- 13:05Speaker 3: were skydiving and we were this, and then you're assuming
- 13:08Speaker 3: like she loves this kind of stuff, she you know,
- 13:12Speaker 3: wants to do this activity with me, and then for
- 13:14Speaker 3: her to just be like, no, no, you're not understanding me.
- 13:16Speaker 3: He's kind of like, no, let's do this, Like come on,
- 13:19Speaker 3: come next to me. So I feel like I could
- 13:22Speaker 3: see both sides because I've also been there as a
- 13:24Speaker 3: lead and been so frustrated. I could have been on
- 13:27Speaker 3: any date and I would have been like just getting overwhelmed.
- 13:32Speaker 3: So maybe that's where she was coming from. I did,
- 13:35Speaker 3: you know, think that they made up for it in
- 13:38Speaker 3: the nighttime portion.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Definitely, this felt like an argument My wife and I
- 13:43Speaker 2: would have like, this felt like a moment that would
- 13:45Speaker 2: be two people that love each other very much, that
- 13:48Speaker 2: are very committed to each other. They have a lot
- 13:50Speaker 2: of fun together, and this feels like a moment that
- 13:53Speaker 2: could create an argument for the two of us. It
- 13:55Speaker 2: doesn't feel outrageous, it doesn't feel necessarily even unhealthy.
- 13:59Speaker 4: It just feels like my wife.
- 14:00Speaker 2: At some point, Wo'd be like, then you have to
- 14:02Speaker 2: start listening to me, like look in my eyes, I
- 14:05Speaker 2: don't want to do this, and I'd be like, oh,
- 14:06Speaker 2: oh yeah, you're right, Okay, sorry, my bad, my my
- 14:10Speaker 2: take on it was. I do think they made up
- 14:12Speaker 2: for it in the nighttime portion. I do think we
- 14:15Speaker 2: also saw Samm for the first time. I know every
- 14:20Speaker 2: you know, his family's very much in this camp of
- 14:22Speaker 2: the editing has been a problem. I've always said this
- 14:25Speaker 2: about the Bachelor and Bachelorette. Yes, there is editing, always editing,
- 14:29Speaker 2: But I have never been a part of a show
- 14:33Speaker 2: where the sentiment of the moment like isn't somewhat accurate.
- 14:37Speaker 2: So he is saying the things that they're showing he
- 14:40Speaker 2: is upset with Devon. They are now showing that he's
- 14:43Speaker 2: upset with Devon and also sam In. Yes he might
- 14:47Speaker 2: have said other things in between, you know, his mean comments,
- 14:51Speaker 2: but what they're getting across to the audience is Samm
- 14:55Speaker 2: is not enjoying his experience with Devon and sam In. However,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I think in this nighttime portion. I was able, and
- 15:03Speaker 2: I hope most fans were to put that away and say, Okay,
- 15:05Speaker 2: who is this guy?
- 15:07Speaker 4: And I do think he was. He showed up well
- 15:11Speaker 4: in this moment.
- 15:22Speaker 3: I was shocked that he's been engaged. Yes, he just
- 15:26Speaker 3: comes off to me and I think to Jen as
- 15:29Speaker 3: like a player, and to hear that he had almost
- 15:33Speaker 3: the same exact story as Spencer, that he is so
- 15:36Speaker 3: serious and something kind of tragic happened to him in
- 15:41Speaker 3: that relationship, I was very shocked. I felt like he
- 15:44Speaker 3: was opening up. Jen was crying. I thought they had
- 15:47Speaker 3: a really good moment. Not saying I'm fully on board
- 15:52Speaker 3: with sam M by any means, but I thought this
- 15:57Speaker 3: date went a lot better than I thought it was
- 15:59Speaker 3: going to.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I would not say I'm fully on board with SAMM.
- 16:03Speaker 2: In fact, he still wouldn't make my top four. However,
- 16:07Speaker 2: I do think this date propelled him into the idea
- 16:11Speaker 2: in my head that he is going to be there
- 16:13Speaker 2: a while and he is a front runner in this experience,
- 16:17Speaker 2: even though I'm not convinced yet. And the reason I'm
- 16:20Speaker 2: not convinced yet is really because after their date, which
- 16:23Speaker 2: he does receive a rose on, we see him back
- 16:26Speaker 2: in the house while the group date is existing with
- 16:28Speaker 2: everybody but Devin. We'll get into the group date, but
- 16:31Speaker 2: the conversation with Samm and Devin really stands out to
- 16:35Speaker 2: me because it felt like Samm fell right back into
- 16:40Speaker 2: the Samm that everybody's.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Like, what is this guy doing.
- 16:43Speaker 2: He's a front runner, he has no need to step
- 16:46Speaker 2: in the murkiness of the drama, yet he cannot help
- 16:50Speaker 2: himself for some reason.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like he is being the aggressor, or
- 16:55Speaker 3: at least in the situation with Devin. He was the
- 16:57Speaker 3: one coming at Devin and he's like, you're wasting your
- 17:01Speaker 3: time thinking of me, And I was like, I don't
- 17:03Speaker 3: think about you at all, Like I don't want anything
- 17:05Speaker 3: to do with you. He's almost making Devin look better. Yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 3: like after this episode, I'm a Devin apologist. I'm like,
- 17:13Speaker 3: is it like Sam this whole time, I don't know.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Not not a good look.
- 17:19Speaker 4: It isn't a good look.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And into Sam M's credit, yes there are. That was
- 17:26Speaker 2: a long conversation where a brief portion of it was shown.
- 17:29Speaker 2: But Ashley and I have given up on the almost
- 17:31Speaker 2: famous podcast Rachel, just for your knowledge, the idea that
- 17:34Speaker 2: we can assume what was happening that was not shown,
- 17:36Speaker 2: because that's not why we exist here. We're here to
- 17:39Speaker 2: break down what we watched on television. That's all the
- 17:42Speaker 2: information we have at this point. And what we watched
- 17:45Speaker 2: on television is I one hundred percent agree with you.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Sam m felt like the aggressor here. He felt like
- 17:50Speaker 2: the one that continues to stir the pot to say
- 17:53Speaker 2: things that would definitely upset me. If I was Devin,
- 17:57Speaker 2: it would make me stand up for myself or at
- 18:00Speaker 2: least respond, probably in not the nicest of ways. Uh
- 18:05Speaker 2: you know, he calls him a little b he uh
- 18:09Speaker 2: you know again, says I don't want you to talk
- 18:11Speaker 2: to me, and Devin kind of goes, I wasn't gonna
- 18:12Speaker 2: talk to you anyways, Like that's cool, man, Like I'm
- 18:15Speaker 2: fine not talking to you. I don't want to talk
- 18:17Speaker 2: to you. Stop talking to me. And so it was
- 18:20Speaker 2: weird for me, Rachel, because I was hoping after the
- 18:24Speaker 2: date with Jim that Sam Man would come back with
- 18:26Speaker 2: a little confidence, a little piece and be like.
- 18:28Speaker 4: You know what, I'm a front runner here.
- 18:30Speaker 2: This other stuff it's it's not below me, but it's
- 18:35Speaker 2: not of my interest anymore yet there he is.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I love that they had them both get a one
- 18:42Speaker 3: of one this week, so we had all this time
- 18:44Speaker 3: with them. I was like, this is the perfect opportunity
- 18:47Speaker 3: for a two on one. I was fingers crossed. But nevertheless,
- 18:51Speaker 3: I'm sure this is not the last you will see
- 18:53Speaker 3: of Sam and Devon arguing.
- 18:56Speaker 2: No, it's a that was a beautiful, uh producer piece
- 19:00Speaker 2: to the puzzle where they said, you know, would be
- 19:02Speaker 2: really fun this week.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Yeah, as soon as I saw them sitting there, I'm like,
- 19:06Speaker 3: oh my god, it was great.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Beautiful, so good. But we do have the group date.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Every other guy is on this group date. It is
- 19:15Speaker 2: a rugby date. This is a really important sport to
- 19:20Speaker 2: New Zealand. I was really excited they were going to
- 19:24Speaker 2: play rugby. It's not the first time the show has
- 19:26Speaker 2: played rugby as a date, but this was a really
- 19:30Speaker 2: fun date because New Zealand is known for its rugby team,
- 19:35Speaker 2: and these guys aren't great, but they're taking it very serious.
- 19:41Speaker 2: And you definitely have some athletes in the group. You
- 19:43Speaker 2: don't have any of those, you know, kind of weenies
- 19:47Speaker 2: that aren't going to step up and try to play rugby.
- 19:51Speaker 2: So it's fun to watch and I'm sure it's fun
- 19:53Speaker 2: for gen to watch.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and someone gave sam and a little bit too
- 19:59Speaker 3: much pain. I don't know who was in charge of
- 20:03Speaker 3: sam n on this date. I was so uncomfortable the
- 20:07Speaker 3: whole time. I mean, I was watching the rugby. It
- 20:10Speaker 3: was great, but at the end of the day, this
- 20:13Speaker 3: is like fun and if someone was tackling me like that,
- 20:18Speaker 3: I would be so mad. Like the way he was
- 20:22Speaker 3: just picking her up, tackling guys like I thought it
- 20:26Speaker 3: was so unnecessary.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I think sam In is just learning a lot about
- 20:32Speaker 4: himself right now.
- 20:33Speaker 3: It feels though that he's not. It feels like he's
- 20:35Speaker 3: listening to maybe people being like you gotta try harder
- 20:39Speaker 3: for her attention and just taking it way too far
- 20:42Speaker 3: every single time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Well, I think he learned a lot once he got
- 20:46Speaker 2: back in that limo, or once he got in the
- 20:47Speaker 2: limo at the end of this when it never worked out.
- 20:49Speaker 2: I think he was at first feeling like he was
- 20:52Speaker 2: crushing it. And the truth is, he did not crush
- 20:54Speaker 2: any moment on this date from start to finish. Rachel
- 21:00Speaker 2: set though, I think sam in Is could have been
- 21:02Speaker 2: one of the most rememorable characters we've ever seen on
- 21:08Speaker 2: the show if he would have been here a little longer.
- 21:10Speaker 2: We only got to see him really come out of
- 21:12Speaker 2: his show at the end of last episode when he
- 21:14Speaker 2: admitted his love for her on a stage.
- 21:18Speaker 4: In week three during a group date, and.
- 21:22Speaker 2: We got to see him today on a rugby day
- 21:26Speaker 2: and a night portion pretty much make every wrong move
- 21:30Speaker 2: anybody can make when it comes to dating.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I want to go over the nighttime portion, because go ahead.
- 21:37Speaker 3: There was a moment well, okay, first of all, the
- 21:41Speaker 3: walking in the trophy, the jersey walking ahead of everyone.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I just knew these guys were going to freak out.
- 21:48Speaker 3: She could never have one normal cocktail party, poor thing.
- 21:53Speaker 3: John just wants to talk to these men. Of course
- 21:56Speaker 3: they're in another argument. Thomas is involved again. The one
- 22:00Speaker 3: part that really stuck out to me was when he
- 22:03Speaker 3: went to pull her for the second time and he
- 22:07Speaker 3: is talking to the camera and he's like, what did
- 22:10Speaker 3: you say. He was like, I'm going to kiss her.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I'm going to be intimate with her, I he told her,
- 22:16Speaker 3: And my first thought was like, someone needs to be
- 22:18Speaker 3: in there with her. I forgot. I'm like, she can't
- 22:20Speaker 3: be alone with him, Like I was genuinely scared. I
- 22:25Speaker 3: thought that moment was way too much. It was definitely
- 22:28Speaker 3: his time to go after that comment.
- 22:31Speaker 4: She handled herself so much better than I would have.
- 22:33Speaker 4: If somebody.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I literally was like, I would have just made out
- 22:38Speaker 3: with him. Everyone if they were like, can I kiss you,
- 22:42Speaker 3: I'm like, yep.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Easier than talking, Yeah, so much easier, non confrontational. Let's
- 22:48Speaker 2: just do and then I'll say goodbye to you at
- 22:49Speaker 2: the row ceremony. But I'm not having this. She was
- 22:52Speaker 2: brilliant in that moment, just the way she collected herself.
- 22:55Speaker 2: She put her thoughts out there. That's what makes a
- 22:58Speaker 2: good lead is how they respond in the face of
- 23:00Speaker 2: adversity or any type of conflict, and she responded so well.
- 23:05Speaker 4: He had a really funny comment to her. I think
- 23:09Speaker 4: he meant that.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I think he was prepping for this time with her,
- 23:13Speaker 2: And what he came up with was he said, today
- 23:15Speaker 2: was the best group day of my life. And I
- 23:18Speaker 2: found that comment outrageous. One, how many group dates have
- 23:22Speaker 2: you actually ever been on?
- 23:23Speaker 4: Two?
- 23:25Speaker 2: Why is that what stands out to you in this
- 23:28Speaker 2: whole experience that it was the best group date you've
- 23:30Speaker 2: ever been on. It wasn't the best day with her.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Is this the best time with her? Did you enjoy
- 23:35Speaker 2: watching her? No, you just had a really great group date.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Because in his mind at this point, from the moment
- 23:41Speaker 2: he walked in, he said it. He put on his
- 23:43Speaker 2: denim jacket. He was feeling himself tonight, he felt himself
- 23:47Speaker 2: and he thought he was a rock star. I don't
- 23:51Speaker 2: know where he got that information from. I don't know
- 23:53Speaker 2: what signs he was picking up on that made him
- 23:55Speaker 2: feel this way. I don't know even who told him
- 23:58Speaker 2: that he was crushing it. But when he walked into
- 24:01Speaker 2: that room, I think he, in his mind thought jin
- 24:05Speaker 2: was going to just melt and be like it's over.
- 24:07Speaker 4: You're the guy.
- 24:09Speaker 2: The problem is Rachel. He's an attractive fella, Like, he's
- 24:14Speaker 2: a good looking guy. He could if he was just
- 24:17Speaker 2: normal for a few seconds here, if he didn't try
- 24:20Speaker 2: to go back and kiss her.
- 24:21Speaker 4: I think he actually stays for the next week.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Agreed. Agreed, one hundred percent. He gives me the energy
- 24:28Speaker 3: of like have you ever heard this saying of like
- 24:30Speaker 3: that weird guy friend. It's like where's my hug? At? Like,
- 24:33Speaker 3: where's my hug? And she's like she sighed, hugs him
- 24:37Speaker 3: like it was so awkward to watch him. Like you said,
- 24:40Speaker 3: he came in with this confidence I think because he thought.
- 24:43Speaker 4: He might hug at.
- 24:45Speaker 3: The group day, and so he's like, oh, I'm getting
- 24:47Speaker 3: the rose like no questions. He's getting hyped up. But
- 24:52Speaker 3: then again there's Thomas again. Why is Thomas the leader
- 24:57Speaker 3: of every like group? Like what's even the word? They're
- 25:03Speaker 3: like mad at everyone. This is a mean group of guys.
- 25:05Speaker 3: But Thomas is always like leading the stampede.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, he well, I think that's about the I think
- 25:12Speaker 2: that's the only role he can play right now.
- 25:14Speaker 3: He knows his place.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Yeah, he knows this is not the experience for him.
- 25:18Speaker 2: He knows he's not getting the into the final four.
- 25:22Speaker 2: He's like, well, I can What I can do now
- 25:24Speaker 2: is make sure I'm heard as much as possible.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Did you hear the part where he started saying Sam
- 25:30Speaker 3: Emm's lines. He was like doing an interview, and he's like,
- 25:33Speaker 3: we're just keeping the main thing, the main thing, Like
- 25:36Speaker 3: that's that's not even your own words? What are you
- 25:40Speaker 3: doing here? Like he is something else. But she did
- 25:43Speaker 3: have some great conversations I.
- 25:45Speaker 4: Thought with who vacation with.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Jonathan they were doing the lacrosse game Grant. You could
- 25:53Speaker 3: tell with her body language, the way she sits on
- 25:56Speaker 3: the couch with grit, she's like super close to him.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I think we're going to see more of him hopefully
- 26:01Speaker 3: coming up. Yeah, oh yeah. And then I just wrote
- 26:05Speaker 3: down Austin calling Sam emotionally unintelligent in front of everyone, like,
- 26:11Speaker 3: why are they all doing this time and time again?
- 26:14Speaker 2: Well, I think what was happening. I don't think these
- 26:18Speaker 2: guys are handling this well. I will say that I
- 26:21Speaker 2: do think with this Sam in moment, they were all
- 26:24Speaker 2: so frustrated and confused, and they were trying to convince Sam, hey, man, like,
- 26:31Speaker 2: check yourself a little bit, take a step back. You're fine,
- 26:35Speaker 2: We're not even that mad at you yet. But you're
- 26:38Speaker 2: being weird man, Like, you're being really weird, and we
- 26:41Speaker 2: just want to let you know that this weirdness is
- 26:43Speaker 2: making everything else here weird. Like you're just being very
- 26:46Speaker 2: odd and it. As he continued to defend himself and
- 26:50Speaker 2: not probably take the kind advice early.
- 26:54Speaker 4: There's probably a better way to do it.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Somebody could have done it one on one with him,
- 26:58Speaker 2: But since he didn't take the advice early, I think
- 27:00Speaker 2: everybody was getting frustrated like, dude, you're a wild man,
- 27:04Speaker 2: Like I'm mad at you, like I'm getting angry. Just
- 27:07Speaker 2: listen to you defend yourself and thinking that you're crushing
- 27:10Speaker 2: it because you're not, and it's very clear to everybody.
- 27:14Speaker 2: So Jin kind of finalizes the thought that he's not
- 27:19Speaker 2: crushing it. She sends him home. Now, she did have
- 27:21Speaker 2: some great conversations. I think Marcus and the Jonathans, the
- 27:25Speaker 2: Grants of the world really stood out during this whole day.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I think they are continuing to be kind of like
- 27:34Speaker 2: foundational pieces to Jin's story. We're seeing them often. There's
- 27:39Speaker 2: still some other guys we're not seeing as often, but
- 27:42Speaker 2: they're those guys are really always popping up. And that's
- 27:46Speaker 2: why I have high expectations for kind of that group,
- 27:50Speaker 2: specifically some other guys we don't really see at all
- 27:54Speaker 2: on this day because Samon takes up a lot of it.
- 27:56Speaker 2: He does end up going home early, and then the
- 27:58Speaker 2: next scene is kind of a It's.
- 28:04Speaker 4: One I just don't like Rachel.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I don't like that the show allows an ex boyfriend
- 28:12Speaker 2: to come into this experience.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Now I know.
- 28:16Speaker 2: This is set up to be that he flew to
- 28:18Speaker 2: New Zealand to meet up with joke.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I thought that was so unseerious, the way that they
- 28:24Speaker 3: had the whole He flew here on his time and
- 28:28Speaker 3: he's honest right now, I'm like, be so for real.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I mean, what are your thoughts on it? I think
- 28:37Speaker 3: it was just so obvious what he's doing, like he's
- 28:39Speaker 3: doing this for attention and for like his five seconds,
- 28:43Speaker 3: like what are you doing here?
- 28:46Speaker 2: It reminds me of when Nick Vile came to Caitlin
- 28:49Speaker 2: season that I was on about five weeks in. We
- 28:52Speaker 2: are in New York City, and I do know that
- 28:55Speaker 2: he was in New York City, and I do know
- 28:57Speaker 2: that Caitlyn and Nick had hung out previous to her
- 29:00Speaker 2: becoming the Bachelor at and then they hung out as
- 29:03Speaker 2: she you know, was kind of on the show like
- 29:05Speaker 2: she found a way to kind of Caitlein was really
- 29:07Speaker 2: good at sneaking out. She was fantastic finding her way
- 29:10Speaker 2: out of.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Her n I don't know how she did it. I
- 29:12Speaker 3: never left my room. I was so scared.
- 29:14Speaker 4: She had some courage.
- 29:26Speaker 2: He comes in and you know, she asks him to
- 29:29Speaker 2: then be a part of the season, which obviously he
- 29:32Speaker 2: makes a long run on the season. It made all
- 29:36Speaker 2: of us feel like, Hey, we're not enough, Like she's
- 29:39Speaker 2: looking for something else here. So that that is the
- 29:42Speaker 2: concern for me as Jin starts to entertain the idea
- 29:45Speaker 2: of bringing this guy onto her season, is that it
- 29:48Speaker 2: will make all the other guys probably question where exactly
- 29:52Speaker 2: they're in the relationship.
- 29:53Speaker 4: I think the show should never.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Portray this as that he is showing up on his
- 30:02Speaker 2: own dime, because nobody knows where they're at in the world.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Nobody knows where to meet Jesse at. The show had
- 30:08Speaker 2: to have contacted him and helped set this up. There
- 30:10Speaker 2: had to be a knowledge that they had dated fairly
- 30:13Speaker 2: recently to her becoming the bachelorette. They had convinced this
- 30:17Speaker 2: guy to fly all the way to New Zealand, probably
- 30:19Speaker 2: telling him that, yeah, like, there's not a lot of
- 30:21Speaker 2: great guys here, I think you're the one. It'd be
- 30:24Speaker 2: great if you come now. I don't hate that she would,
- 30:26Speaker 2: even I'm not going to get mad age gen if
- 30:28Speaker 2: she says, yeah, you know what, come on this experience
- 30:30Speaker 2: and do it like everybody else. I do think that
- 30:32Speaker 2: adds a weird dynamic within the guys. I don't think
- 30:35Speaker 2: this guy is going to like his experience on the show.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I don't think the guys are going to welcome him
- 30:38Speaker 2: into their brotherhood, nor should we expect them to. But
- 30:43Speaker 2: I won't blame her for saying, yeah, let's give it
- 30:46Speaker 2: a shot.
- 30:47Speaker 3: I just think it's weird because this isn't like someone
- 30:52Speaker 3: that she was, like the one that got away. It
- 30:54Speaker 3: was a three month situationship three years ago that she
- 30:58Speaker 3: still kind of keeps in contact with. He had how
- 31:01Speaker 3: many years he watched her go on The Bachelor. That
- 31:05Speaker 3: was his first shot to be like, hey, I love you.
- 31:08Speaker 3: It's so inauthentic to me. Obviously, I don't know, like
- 31:13Speaker 3: you said, it's Jen's decision, but to me, it just
- 31:17Speaker 3: seems like so sketchy.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Well, something weird happened in the midst of their conversation.
- 31:23Speaker 2: He kind of tells Jen his true feelings for her,
- 31:26Speaker 2: and she says, why wouldn't you have told me this
- 31:29Speaker 2: three months ago or whatever the timeline was, and he goes, Jin,
- 31:32Speaker 2: I did, and then she kind of.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Just stops, Oh, I didn't catch that.
- 31:37Speaker 2: She like doesn't have a great response for it. She
- 31:40Speaker 2: just says, Matthew, I thought.
- 31:42Speaker 3: She said or he said I tried to, or.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Did he say I did or I tried to, whatever
- 31:48Speaker 2: it was if he tried to.
- 31:50Speaker 4: If he did, he obviously.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Was communicating deeper feelings for Jin than what she's either
- 31:55Speaker 2: remembering or wanting to remember. So I do have a
- 31:58Speaker 2: feeling that this guy was interested before she left. I
- 32:02Speaker 2: don't know if his ideal plan would be showing up
- 32:05Speaker 2: on national television into a very hostile environment and trying
- 32:09Speaker 2: to sweep her off her feet. I don't know if
- 32:12Speaker 2: that was his plan. That's outrageously wild and not smart.
- 32:17Speaker 2: He should have never agreed to that, But I do
- 32:21Speaker 2: wonder if it threw her off so much that he
- 32:24Speaker 2: was there, that she was in a sense, and I
- 32:26Speaker 2: get it trying to protect herself to be like Matthew,
- 32:29Speaker 2: what are you doing? Like you're making me look like
- 32:31Speaker 2: I had a boyfriend up until I came on the show.
- 32:33Speaker 2: You're now telling me that you told me these things
- 32:36Speaker 2: up until I came on the show. You need to
- 32:37Speaker 2: stop this. If you care about me, look in my eyes,
- 32:41Speaker 2: watch yourself. I'm not against bringing you on the show,
- 32:45Speaker 2: but obviously our relationship didn't work out. I'm not personally
- 32:49Speaker 2: claiming that Jen had a boyfriend before the show, but
- 32:51Speaker 2: I do think she was probably talking to a guy,
- 32:52Speaker 2: which I've always said is fine.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Like, you know, they broke up.
- 32:56Speaker 2: She wasn't interested him, she moved on, but I do
- 32:59Speaker 2: think she for a set I felt very much like, goodness, gracious, Matthew,
- 33:02Speaker 2: you are going to destroy me by doing.
- 33:04Speaker 3: This, and the situation, if you think about it, there's
- 33:08Speaker 3: no way I feel like it could be smooth, especially
- 33:11Speaker 3: with someone who's outside of the franchise. Because this guy
- 33:15Speaker 3: comes in, all the guys are mad at Jen, so
- 33:18Speaker 3: then she's mad at them for questioning her, and this
- 33:22Speaker 3: just cannot go well because then what happens if she
- 33:24Speaker 3: picks him at the end, Everyone's like, why do you
- 33:28Speaker 3: even come on? So there's no way that this can
- 33:31Speaker 3: end well, and I think Jen knows that, and she's
- 33:33Speaker 3: trying to find the best scenario for this, the best
- 33:38Speaker 3: way to deal with it.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Navigate it, Yeah, the best way to navigate this there was.
- 33:43Speaker 4: I don't know if they ever did this to you.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Rachel, but I walked in the Mexico City fashion show
- 33:50Speaker 2: during my time as the Bachelor on a date. I
- 33:53Speaker 2: was on a date and one of the models during
- 33:56Speaker 2: the fashion show they had convinced to come on my
- 33:59Speaker 2: seasons like this is probably five weeks in and the
- 34:04Speaker 2: producers come up and they said, hey, would you want
- 34:06Speaker 2: her on the show? And I was like, no, that
- 34:08Speaker 2: sounds terrible. That sounds like an awful idea, Like no
- 34:11Speaker 2: matter if she is the perfect person for me, not
- 34:14Speaker 2: worth it, like not doing that here. But they had
- 34:18Speaker 2: this whole thing where it never got aired because she
- 34:20Speaker 2: never ended up coming on where like she and they
- 34:25Speaker 2: asked if she could start the experience in week five
- 34:28Speaker 2: And it wasn't that I again, I'm not going to
- 34:31Speaker 2: be upset with jin as a lead to bring him on.
- 34:34Speaker 2: It was more of I don't know how I would
- 34:36Speaker 2: communicate this to everybody else that's already here, Like I
- 34:39Speaker 2: feel like it would just be a massive shot to
- 34:41Speaker 2: their confidence, and their confidence is probably already waning, and
- 34:46Speaker 2: I already felt like I was holding on by a
- 34:48Speaker 2: thread to keep their attention for another week. I did
- 34:52Speaker 2: not ever feel like I was sitting in the driver's
- 34:54Speaker 2: seat being like, yeah, they're going to stick around because
- 34:56Speaker 2: obviously they want to date me. It's like no, they're
- 34:58Speaker 2: always looking for an excuse to leave. They just don't
- 35:00Speaker 2: to win, say, but then look at Blake points, yeah, Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 2: good point.
- 35:05Speaker 3: So the only reason I think this just could be
- 35:07Speaker 3: a little different is that he is not a part
- 35:09Speaker 3: of the franchise. I think people might welcome people a
- 35:13Speaker 3: little bit more when they kind of know them and
- 35:16Speaker 3: it's this whole like, oh, I didn't know she was
- 35:20Speaker 3: gonna be the Bachelrette. Anyways, we shall see. Me and
- 35:25Speaker 3: Gaby never had that problem. We couldn't even get the
- 35:27Speaker 3: guys on our own season to want to date us.
- 35:30Speaker 3: So I mean that would have probably been welcomed in
- 35:32Speaker 3: my situation if I someone that wants to dat us.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Yeah, another friend.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Yeah you're gonna accept my roses? Make amazing, You're hired.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Yeah you're here, all right, Rachel break down.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Really, the final piece of this episode is the Gin
- 35:46Speaker 2: and Devin dat, another date that fans were excited to
- 35:50Speaker 2: see kind of play out for the first time.
- 35:53Speaker 3: So going into this, you know, I was not a
- 35:57Speaker 3: Devon fan, but there is something with Devin watching his
- 36:03Speaker 3: date with Jen. They got to have this spiritual experience
- 36:06Speaker 3: with the Malori people. I know Jen was saying that
- 36:09Speaker 3: she's Buddhists and it's important to learn about different cultures,
- 36:13Speaker 3: and I think Devin embraced the date so well, he
- 36:18Speaker 3: shared so much about himself. I was like, Wow, I
- 36:21Speaker 3: was impressed. He has a lot of depth to him.
- 36:24Speaker 3: But I think the main thing for me was watching
- 36:27Speaker 3: Jen on this date. I felt like, that's the most
- 36:30Speaker 3: she's been herself this entire time.
- 36:32Speaker 2: She felt very comfortable in Unlike maybe the sam M date.
- 36:38Speaker 2: It did feel like most of their conversation flowed from
- 36:42Speaker 2: a very natural and comfortable place. I didn't know if
- 36:47Speaker 2: that would actually happen with Devn. I've always kind of
- 36:49Speaker 2: had this idea that Jen, in the back of her
- 36:50Speaker 2: head is like, this guy is going to be going
- 36:52Speaker 2: home as soon as possible, but for right now, like
- 36:56Speaker 2: he's making the effort, so I'm going to keep him around.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I will admit I think I was wrong on that thought.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I actually think she is interested in Devin, which is
- 37:08Speaker 2: interesting because he hasn't exactly portrayed himself that much differently
- 37:13Speaker 2: than some of the other guys. He's made some stupid decisions,
- 37:15Speaker 2: he says some really stupid stuff. He's been hostile at times,
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yet somehow he's continued to kind of connect with Jin
- 37:24Speaker 2: in a way that others haven't yet.
- 37:26Speaker 3: She said something exactly like that at the end of
- 37:29Speaker 3: the day, and she was just like, we have this connection.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I can't explain, and I mean I saw it all
- 37:35Speaker 3: throughout the date. But I think as a lead sometimes
- 37:38Speaker 3: I'll watch these conversations that they have at the nighttime
- 37:41Speaker 3: portion and you can tell when she's just kind of
- 37:44Speaker 3: like and tell me more about that, and how did
- 37:47Speaker 3: that make you feel? Oh, that's so tough, which you're
- 37:50Speaker 3: genuinely like concerned. But with Devin, she was sharing like
- 37:54Speaker 3: stories about her dad and feeling abandoned, and I was like, whoa,
- 37:59Speaker 3: she trusts him. She's really showing a completely different side
- 38:04Speaker 3: to just Devin, and I was shocked, but I loved it.
- 38:08Speaker 3: I think they have a great connection. And now, like
- 38:12Speaker 3: you said, I am interested to see how far he's
- 38:14Speaker 3: going to go.
- 38:15Speaker 2: I'm very intrigued to see how far he is now
- 38:17Speaker 2: going to go. Well that is all the main points
- 38:20Speaker 2: and the main storylines from episode for Rachel. Anything that
- 38:24Speaker 2: stot out to you this episode that we did not cover, think.
- 38:27Speaker 3: So besides me becoming a devon apologist.
- 38:30Speaker 4: There you go, got it.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Maybe that would be the title of this podcast, Rachel Apologist.
- 38:36Speaker 2: All right, your top three after this week changed it
- 38:39Speaker 2: all from last week.
- 38:40Speaker 3: So no, I still have Dylan, Jonathan Marcus number one,
- 38:45Speaker 3: but I did. I put Devin number four because I
- 38:48Speaker 3: think that is her number four, So yeah, he made
- 38:52Speaker 3: it onto the list.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I would still agree Marcus and Jonathan though, feel in
- 38:58Speaker 2: my mind, even though maybe we don't see as much
- 39:00Speaker 2: of them as we expect, they still feel like to
- 39:02Speaker 2: me based on years of watching the show and years
- 39:06Speaker 2: of experiences of seeing people go on dates, they still
- 39:09Speaker 2: feel far and beyond the front runners to me. I
- 39:13Speaker 2: know they want Sam m to be that person. I'm
- 39:16Speaker 2: just not there yet. I just don't. I'm having a
- 39:18Speaker 2: hard time believing it. Well, next week we're going to
- 39:21Speaker 2: watch to see if Matthew is actually invited back on
- 39:25Speaker 2: this show. We are probably going to see a Row
- 39:27Speaker 2: ceremony since we did it this episode, so we'll have
- 39:30Speaker 2: a lot to break down and talk about. Next week,
- 39:32Speaker 2: Rachel will not be here. Rachel, thank you so much
- 39:35Speaker 2: for joining us for being a part of the Almost
- 39:37Speaker 2: Famous podcast these last two weeks. You have been an
- 39:39Speaker 2: incredible guest host, an awesome fell in and I cannot
- 39:43Speaker 2: wait to have you back at some point to help
- 39:46Speaker 2: us out and to continue to update us on all
- 39:48Speaker 2: the cool things happening in your life. So with this,
- 39:51Speaker 2: we're going to take a moment of appreciation for Rachel.
