- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Shoot Low, Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm your host, Stop Shooter. It is Friday. We're all
- 0:18Speaker 1: gonna have a fabulous weekend. But before we do, we're
- 0:20Speaker 1: going to jump into the gossip, the gossip of the day.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And joining us is our dear friend Corey Andrew from
- 0:26Speaker 1: Instincts Magazine dot com. Corey Lava, are you there? I
- 0:30Speaker 1: am here. Happy Friday, Darling, Happy Friday. So New York
- 0:34Speaker 1: is bouncing back. Last night I was invited to Rosanna
- 0:37Speaker 1: Scotto's restaurant, Rescue By Scotto's is delicious. It was a
- 0:42Speaker 1: little family and friends night, so it was free. You know,
- 0:45Speaker 1: I don't like to so it's lots of free food,
- 0:48Speaker 1: lots of fun people. I bumped into our friend Wendy
- 0:51Speaker 1: Williams was there. How are you doing, Wendy looking fabulous?
- 0:55Speaker 1: I saw you, Wendy Williams. Katie Curig was there. We
- 0:58Speaker 1: love comming today. I did laugh. She came over to
- 1:01Speaker 1: the table to say hello, and she told us a
- 1:04Speaker 1: story that she was recently on Jeopardy. She was the
- 1:06Speaker 1: host of Jeopardy and somebody in the restaurant had said
- 1:09Speaker 1: to her, I just saw you on Jeopardy, and Katie said,
- 1:12Speaker 1: oh gosh, the reviews were not that kind. I don't
- 1:14Speaker 1: think the press really liked it, and the woman responded saying,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you were a bit stiff. Katie did laugh about it,
- 1:21Speaker 1: but I mean the things people say that Jonny Ripper
- 1:24Speaker 1: was there or she's gorgeous thing. It was such a
- 1:31Speaker 1: fun night. Thank you for inviting me, Rosanna. And if
- 1:33Speaker 1: you're in New York City, check out Fresco by Scanto
- 1:37Speaker 1: was on fifty second Street. Corey, have we been there together?
- 1:40Speaker 1: I couldn't remember. We have not been here together, but
- 1:42Speaker 1: for some reason, I think I've gone for something, a
- 1:46Speaker 1: book signing or something. It's so New York. It's such
- 1:49Speaker 1: an institution. Corey will go next week and get a drinking. Hey,
- 1:53Speaker 1: let's jump into the show. There's so much to get to.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But before we do, I want to hear a jingle
- 1:58Speaker 1: my friends, What time is? Dude? Is time? I love
- 2:03Speaker 1: how high you sing? So right at the top of
- 2:05Speaker 1: the show. Ben Affleck has been spotted hanging out in
- 2:09Speaker 1: Las Vegas with Jennifer Lopez. He's a mother. The mother
- 2:15Speaker 1: so what a Loope was spotted with Ben at the
- 2:18Speaker 1: Win Casino. It's the really fancy in Vegas. It's lovely there.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So she was spotted with him where he was filming
- 2:26Speaker 1: and directing a new project. It's not really clear what
- 2:29Speaker 1: j Lowe's mummy was with him. She loves to gambles.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I remember that she once won two point four million
- 2:36Speaker 1: dollars in a casino in Atlantic City. There as if
- 2:41Speaker 1: you don't have enough money or your daughter does. I'm not,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but when she hit the jackpot, she want two point
- 2:46Speaker 1: for I was working for Jennifer at the time, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: I had to call Jennifer to let her know. So
- 2:52Speaker 1: I was at my desk in my office and Colleen
- 2:54Speaker 1: from the Daily News called, whenever a New Yorker wins
- 2:58Speaker 1: a million dollars, that's a good new your story. So
- 3:01Speaker 1: the Daily News got a press release from the casino
- 3:04Speaker 1: in Atlantic City, what a Loupe Loupez has won two
- 3:07Speaker 1: point four million. Well, they didn't put together that it
- 3:10Speaker 1: was j Loo's mother. So my friend Colleen called me
- 3:12Speaker 1: and she's like, this sounds really bizarre, and I'm sure
- 3:15Speaker 1: you know Lopez is a is a very common name.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Is this jay Loo's mother? I said, I don't be ridiculous,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's not her it can't be her, but I'll check.
- 3:24Speaker 1: That's your job as a publicaist. So I gave Jennifer
- 3:26Speaker 1: or her manager a quick call and said, there's this
- 3:29Speaker 1: silly report that's going to be in the Daily News
- 3:31Speaker 1: and if it's true. If it's not true, they'll just
- 3:33Speaker 1: do a lovely story about somebody from New York winning
- 3:35Speaker 1: a lot of money. It was the mother, and I
- 3:38Speaker 1: don't think the mother was going to tell her. I
- 3:39Speaker 1: shouldn't say that. I don't know that if you wanted
- 3:42Speaker 1: to keep it on the down low and not tell
- 3:44Speaker 1: you're very rich daughters that were also very I know
- 3:48Speaker 1: the Daily News blue well. In any case, she's now
- 3:50Speaker 1: with Ben. The two of them love to gamble. He's
- 3:53Speaker 1: filming a movie. She's there for fun. Although the night
- 3:56Speaker 1: before Get This, Ben wasn't filming, but he was in
- 3:59Speaker 1: the casine know until three, a gambling incognitue, wearing a
- 4:06Speaker 1: baseball cap. This is very troublesome to me because all
- 4:10Speaker 1: those years ago when they broke up, Ben was gambling
- 4:13Speaker 1: and drinking and being sloppy, and I think that's part
- 4:16Speaker 1: of the reason these two broke up. Is this a
- 4:19Speaker 1: red flag for Jennifer? What do you think Corey, Yeah,
- 4:22Speaker 1: I think so, because you know, that's a really highly
- 4:24Speaker 1: addictive behavior, and it's just like anything else. It's like drugs,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's like alcohol. People have to go to therapy and
- 4:29Speaker 1: rehab for gambling addiction. So um, you know, she might
- 4:33Speaker 1: have gone from the I guess, as they say, the
- 4:35Speaker 1: frying pan into the fire, from one relationship right into
- 4:38Speaker 1: another bad one. So be careful. Girl. Then has his
- 4:42Speaker 1: demons he's been honest about then. My Bruce, my husband,
- 4:45Speaker 1: he doesn't really have many demons, but if he did,
- 4:47Speaker 1: gambling could be one. Really love he loves blackjack, he
- 4:51Speaker 1: loves it. Let me get a Vegas. All I want
- 4:53Speaker 1: to do is see Celine Diona the Buffet all you
- 4:57Speaker 1: can eat Buffet and Selene Dion. That's the only reason
- 5:00Speaker 1: to go to Vegas, I know. I know, also to
- 5:03Speaker 1: see Barry Manelow his fabulous too, But guess I love
- 5:06Speaker 1: the shows in Vader Bruce. Bruce doesn't care about any
- 5:10Speaker 1: of the shows. He couldn't care less. He wants me
- 5:12Speaker 1: back at that black jack table. You know, Joey is
- 5:15Speaker 1: the same way. Joey loves black jack. I like slot machines,
- 5:18Speaker 1: I think because they're fun and they're flashing and the music,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and so I can't do it. Like I'm quite generous. Actually,
- 5:25Speaker 1: as much as I joke about being cheap, I'm happy
- 5:27Speaker 1: to buy you a drink or a dinner. But I
- 5:29Speaker 1: like conversation, like to chit chat. When I'm at the tables,
- 5:32Speaker 1: Bruce is always telling me to shut up because I
- 5:34Speaker 1: want to stop talking. And then when I met the machine,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you can't talk to the slot machiner. I've tried, so
- 5:40Speaker 1: now I would rather go for dinner in Vegas or
- 5:42Speaker 1: see one of the shows. So what do you think
- 5:44Speaker 1: about this? It's our pool question of the day. Ben
- 5:46Speaker 1: Affleck is hanging out in Las Vegas in a casino
- 5:49Speaker 1: with j Lo's mommy. Is this cool or is it creepy?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Cool or creepy? Govert on our Twitter page at Naughty
- 5:57Speaker 1: Nice Rather facebook page is naughty gussip. But should to
- 6:00Speaker 1: check back on Monday to hear your results, Corey Love,
- 6:04Speaker 1: what are you working on? Yes? Well, Courtney says Scott's
- 6:07Speaker 1: substance abuse was the deal breaker. Oh Courtney, Cortney, Courtney Courtney. Yes,
- 6:14Speaker 1: so Courtney was in the hot seat answering fans tough questions.
- 6:17Speaker 1: The Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion special was hosted
- 6:20Speaker 1: by Andy Cohen and no topic was off limits. So
- 6:24Speaker 1: why is the show coming to an end? Cohen asks,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and of course manager manager Chris popped in and she goes, well,
- 6:30Speaker 1: we're feeling a little overwhelmed. We've done it for so long.
- 6:34Speaker 1: And then Cohen asked Courtney Kardashian forty two and Scott
- 6:37Speaker 1: Disick thirty eight about why their relationship didn't work out. Probably,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I think the substance abuse was the deal breaker, Courtney revealed.
- 6:46Speaker 1: And you know, Scott admits to that he struggled with
- 6:48Speaker 1: alcohol addiction, doesn't hide it, and he's also admitted that
- 6:51Speaker 1: he's checked himself in to rehab more than one So
- 6:55Speaker 1: I really commend them both for being honest about about
- 6:58Speaker 1: that because addiction is a serious thing. It is serious,
- 7:01Speaker 1: isn't it. It's very very tricky. This tell was delicious.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You know, some people ragon Andy Cohen and they can
- 7:07Speaker 1: be cruel about him, and I like his ambition. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: get it, and I actually think I really respect him
- 7:12Speaker 1: for it. I like ambitious people. And now, because E
- 7:14Speaker 1: and Bravo are sister networks, it looks like he's going
- 7:17Speaker 1: to be doing these sort of these reunions on e
- 7:20Speaker 1: as well as all these couswives on Bravo. I say,
- 7:23Speaker 1: bring them on. No one does them better. He asks
- 7:25Speaker 1: the most outrageous questions and it gets away with it.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't think I believe Chris's answered that they didn't
- 7:31Speaker 1: give up the show because they were a little overwhelmed.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If that was the case, why did they sign a
- 7:36Speaker 1: new deal on Hulu. It's the final episode on Sunday.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Their ratings in the toilet. Nobody's watching anymore. But I'll
- 7:46Speaker 1: let you know on Monday how they do. Also, too,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I think we have a little update about which Kardashian
- 7:51Speaker 1: did not enjoy filming. Yes, well, yes, it's so funny
- 7:54Speaker 1: about this because you know, the producer, a longtime producer
- 7:57Speaker 1: of the show for an as far as I'm revealed recently,
- 8:00Speaker 1: Rich Kardiashian did not like filming the show. Which one
- 8:02Speaker 1: which one? So oddly enough, it's Kylie, like, oh I
- 8:07Speaker 1: believe that, do you really? Because she's so self absorbed,
- 8:10Speaker 1: Like you know, I might have thought Courtney, I might
- 8:13Speaker 1: have said, Courtney, who doesn't seem to Kim Kim. Oh.
- 8:15Speaker 1: He said that Kim likes it the most. Yeah, m yes,
- 8:18Speaker 1: So Kim like the most, which was no surprise to anyone, right.
- 8:22Speaker 1: But Kylie though, Kylie as the least I think is
- 8:25Speaker 1: sort of that's a surprise because she's almost as self
- 8:28Speaker 1: absorbed as Kim, and she's built quite a brand for
- 8:31Speaker 1: herself on social media. Kendall to the two young ones,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Kylie and Kendall are not on the show as much.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It was the three older ones that sort of originated
- 8:40Speaker 1: that were the stars. And actually, so I thought it'd
- 8:42Speaker 1: be one of the younger ones, Kylie, who would you
- 8:44Speaker 1: say of our little show? Enjoys it? Them? Those who
- 8:48Speaker 1: would you who enjoys a spotlight the most? Well? Now
- 8:52Speaker 1: do enjoys doing the show the spotlight? Let's make it nice,
- 8:55Speaker 1: let's well, I know, I love it. You love that?
- 9:00Speaker 1: I mean I do, Honey, Misty loves it. And Misty
- 9:03Speaker 1: actually the little secret with Misty she's quite shy. You've
- 9:06Speaker 1: met her, so she rusty is actually quite shy. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: didn't think so. And you know who didn't want to
- 9:11Speaker 1: do the show, and I had to twist his arm
- 9:13Speaker 1: Mark Mark Lupe yet and the first couple of shows
- 9:18Speaker 1: he was awful, I know, And I say that with
- 9:20Speaker 1: love because now he's fabil, but in person he didn't
- 9:23Speaker 1: enjoy it and drinks with Mark Lupo. There's no one
- 9:27Speaker 1: more fun. But when I put a microphone under his nose,
- 9:30Speaker 1: he got a little self conscious, didn't want to do it.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Garrett's done the show forever because of z One. He's
- 9:35Speaker 1: an old pro at this. And then Donnie, Oh, please
- 9:38Speaker 1: talk the back legs off a donkey. It is interesting
- 9:41Speaker 1: moving along. So Jada Pinkett Smith got have Vagina steamed
- 9:47Speaker 1: on camera? I said that with that laughing. I know.
- 9:50Speaker 1: So Jada and her daughter Willow, why not have once
- 9:53Speaker 1: again bombed with us? And they've done it on camera.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That red table Talk of Theirs is such a great show.
- 10:00Speaker 1: They're always doing these wild things. Whoever is producing it,
- 10:03Speaker 1: I actually know who is. His name's Terence, Terence Noonan
- 10:06Speaker 1: and producer, keep going, Terrence. It's wonderful teaving. So the
- 10:10Speaker 1: latest Shenanigans is they've steam their vaginas and because mommy
- 10:15Speaker 1: and daughter are not enough, they also get Jada's mother
- 10:18Speaker 1: on the actions. All three of them are there steaming away.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Jada said. Steaming is an ancient practice that originated in
- 10:26Speaker 1: Asia and Africa and was originally used to cleanse yourself.
- 10:31Speaker 1: That makes sense also to Jada's longtime healer, I love
- 10:36Speaker 1: that she has a healing. She has the ladies if
- 10:39Speaker 1: they're vaginas, speaks to them. But we don't know the
- 10:41Speaker 1: answer of that. Yes, I've only seen the tease of
- 10:43Speaker 1: the episode, but it is something. Also to two thousand
- 10:48Speaker 1: and eighteen, Jada revealed that she underwent three procedures a
- 10:52Speaker 1: vaginal rejuven nation, and she says her, who are you know?
- 10:57Speaker 1: What is like a sixteen your old kidding? Is there
- 11:03Speaker 1: anything we should not be talking about? Corey should be? Well, yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: something should be. But I gotta tell you, you know what.
- 11:11Speaker 1: The body breaks down as we get older. There's nothing
- 11:14Speaker 1: wrong with taking that girl into like a like like
- 11:17Speaker 1: like it's a car the auto body shop, get that
- 11:20Speaker 1: tune up, get her room ripped up again and ready
- 11:23Speaker 1: to go. So I think, you know, if I had one,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I'd be probably steering it twice a week, Hoddy, I
- 11:28Speaker 1: don't know. I got to know as I get a
- 11:30Speaker 1: little littlded too, I do think a little bit more
- 11:33Speaker 1: about my body, and I do encourage people as much
- 11:35Speaker 1: as we're being silly here and I get with giggling away.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Take care of yourself, everybody, do you take care of yourself?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Then get to know your own body. What's going on
- 11:44Speaker 1: with Megan Marco Corey, Yes, Well, Megan Marco has donated
- 11:48Speaker 1: her book The Bench, which is so lovely. I love it.
- 11:51Speaker 1: It's a story that I'm really attached to because I
- 11:53Speaker 1: love literacy and young people. So Megan Marco has announced
- 11:56Speaker 1: that two thousand copies of her new children's book will
- 11:59Speaker 1: be given out no cost to communities in need. Marco
- 12:02Speaker 1: said previously the book was inspired by a poem she
- 12:05Speaker 1: wrote for Prince Harry on his first Father's Day back
- 12:08Speaker 1: in two thousand nineteen, and marcol and Harry's charitable organization,
- 12:12Speaker 1: art Well, would donate two thousand free copies to libraries, communities,
- 12:16Speaker 1: center of schools, and nonprofit programs across the country. Arch
- 12:20Speaker 1: Well says that donations will help contribute to its overall
- 12:24Speaker 1: goal of nourishment through learning and connection. And again, I
- 12:29Speaker 1: tell you, as a person, a man of color who
- 12:31Speaker 1: has ties to the inner city, who had a mom
- 12:34Speaker 1: who really made me learn to read early on, you know,
- 12:37Speaker 1: as as an exercise before I could even speak, I
- 12:40Speaker 1: benefit so much from it. My life is so enriched
- 12:42Speaker 1: and so I want that for other kids, especially inner
- 12:45Speaker 1: city kids. So I love that Megan's doing this. Hats off, sister,
- 12:48Speaker 1: it's amazing. What do you think, rob Oh, I think
- 12:51Speaker 1: it is too. I didn't learn to read until quite
- 12:54Speaker 1: later on in life. As you all know, I damaged
- 12:56Speaker 1: my arm at b and so for the first several
- 12:59Speaker 1: years of my life, the priority was making sure my
- 13:02Speaker 1: arm was not amputating. It was really damaged, and so
- 13:05Speaker 1: education took a back seat. And it was actually when
- 13:08Speaker 1: I was about seven or eight it was discovered that
- 13:10Speaker 1: I really couldn't read. I know, so I was a
- 13:13Speaker 1: late learner and it's still my achilles heel. Like when
- 13:16Speaker 1: I opened a book, I still have to take a
- 13:18Speaker 1: little second to think, or if I'm on a TV show,
- 13:21Speaker 1: reading a teleprompter gives me a little bit of anxiety.
- 13:24Speaker 1: It's quite triggering. But I have really learned to escape
- 13:28Speaker 1: in a book, and I think now there's nothing more
- 13:31Speaker 1: fun on a rainy day than than escaping into a
- 13:34Speaker 1: book and a wonderful story. What I fear, though, is
- 13:37Speaker 1: Megan's going to get backlash for this, because she does
- 13:40Speaker 1: for everything I wish Megan had donated other people's books
- 13:44Speaker 1: as well. It's going to become or it's going to
- 13:47Speaker 1: be construed self serving. So if I could buy two
- 13:51Speaker 1: thousand copies of The Foreword Answer, Plugging Away and give
- 13:55Speaker 1: them away to libraries, it might be a kind gesture,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but it's also going to help book sell. So often
- 14:02Speaker 1: authors are criticized for buying their own book. It's a
- 14:04Speaker 1: little bit of a secret in the book business. In fact,
- 14:07Speaker 1: one of the Real Housewives I won't tell you who,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Jules Aaron, has a garage full of her books. I
- 14:13Speaker 1: know because when a book comes out, if you buy
- 14:15Speaker 1: two thousand copies, what are you going to do with it?
- 14:17Speaker 1: You how many people you give book to? Every time
- 14:22Speaker 1: you see Jill, she gives you another book. Arianda Hufington,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I don't know if she bought her own books, but
- 14:26Speaker 1: I remember when I worked for the Huffington Post, I
- 14:28Speaker 1: had to meet Arianna Huffington's and she was involved. I
- 14:32Speaker 1: was working at a O l a Well brought the
- 14:33Speaker 1: huff In the Post and she sort of inherited me.
- 14:35Speaker 1: She didn't really want to hire me, but I was
- 14:37Speaker 1: already there, and so I had to meet the Grand
- 14:39Speaker 1: dam and so I went to her office. It was
- 14:41Speaker 1: all glass and she was very over the top and
- 14:44Speaker 1: on the way actually liked me. And on the way
- 14:46Speaker 1: out she signed a copy of her book, I'm going
- 14:49Speaker 1: to do with this book, give me a raised sweetie.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So I know that Megan is going to get backlash
- 14:56Speaker 1: for this, and I still think it was a lovely
- 14:58Speaker 1: thing to do. They talking about bumping into Kelly Ripper.
- 15:01Speaker 1: We have a great Kelly Ripper story before we go
- 15:03Speaker 1: to break. Kelly said she wanted to find another career.
- 15:07Speaker 1: So for the first twenty years of her career in
- 15:09Speaker 1: front of the camera, she was never really that comfortable.
- 15:13Speaker 1: She thought she was too old for it. She couldn't
- 15:15Speaker 1: do it. She told this to the Just Be a podcast,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and she said she didn't like the attention. If you
- 15:21Speaker 1: think about it, she said, I don't go to parties.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I saw you one a couple of nights ago. I
- 15:26Speaker 1: don't go to Hollywood events. That's actually quite true. You
- 15:28Speaker 1: know some of those celebrities you see at the opening
- 15:31Speaker 1: of an envelope really doesn't go out that much. But
- 15:34Speaker 1: she said that she doesn't even like her own voice. Well, Kelly,
- 15:39Speaker 1: you've got a great voice. You are fabulous. I was
- 15:42Speaker 1: surprised by this that you can be shy and on TV.
- 15:46Speaker 1: A lot of people I know who are really big
- 15:48Speaker 1: stars in the television world, they don't watch their own shows.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They don't watch it, they don't listen. I listened to
- 15:53Speaker 1: this podcast and I make notes that we can get better.
- 15:57Speaker 1: You're comfortable, aren't you, Corey talking and and on TV?
- 16:00Speaker 1: And yes I am. And you know, even with this show,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you were so wonderful because it was a different format
- 16:05Speaker 1: like I can do on camera stuff, but kind of
- 16:07Speaker 1: the audio thing is a little trickier. But it takes
- 16:09Speaker 1: getting used to your voice, critiquing yourself. And but let's
- 16:12Speaker 1: just not forget to Kelly was an actress first, because
- 16:15Speaker 1: you're playing yourself, it's very difficult. A lot of actresses,
- 16:20Speaker 1: Lisa Renna was an actress before she joined the real
- 16:23Speaker 1: and Lisa told me it was easier reading a script
- 16:26Speaker 1: saying somebody else's words than saying your own, because now
- 16:29Speaker 1: you're being judged on your responsible do they like you
- 16:32Speaker 1: or not? Where if you're a character, it doesn't really
- 16:34Speaker 1: matter if they like you're not because it's not about you.
