BlackRock's DEEP-ROOTED Message to SILVER Stackers -- (Gold too) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Good morning, basement dwellers, good morning, silver lovers.
0:05
Hey, let's talk about what's happening right now with the
0:09
dollar and that will have a major impact on the price of
0:13
silver and gold as we head into the coming months, quarters and
0:18
years. But if you notice, like you
0:20
either had people saying the dollars toast, the dollars done,
0:23
the bricks, gold currency, all these fantastic predictions like
0:29
like tomorrow we're going to wake up and the dollars going to
0:31
be gone. But then on the other side of
0:33
the coin, you have the people that are saying, no, you're
0:37
crazy. The dollars not going anywhere.
0:39
The dollars, the world's reserve.
0:40
There's like two like extreme factions when it comes to the
0:46
dollar. But here's what I want to throw
0:48
out and I put together some ground breaking research that
0:51
I'm going to share with you. Yes, you and you are the most
0:55
important part of this live stream video, right?
0:58
The viewer, you. OK, So thank you for being here.
1:01
Please give this a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel if you
1:04
want a piece of content every single day.
1:05
Because in today's video, I am going to tell you about why.
1:10
If we can be just in the middle between those two warring
1:14
factions, the people that say the dollar is done, the we're
1:17
going to wake up tomorrow and your dollars are going to be
1:20
worthless. These paper, you know, I'm not
1:22
very fond of them, but they're going to be worthless.
1:24
And then you have the other people that say, no, the dollar
1:26
is not going anywhere. We can land somewhere in the
1:29
middle. And I have some great, great
1:32
news for you. Be OK with the dollar.
1:34
But let's start. And by the way, in about 10
1:37
minutes, we are going to be joined by the one and only coin
1:40
shop. Chris.
1:41
Yes, he's back in the basement. And we got a lot of fun stuff to
1:44
talk about what's going on at the coin shop, some great price
1:47
comparisons, all kinds of it's going to be a big show today,
1:49
guys. So thank you.
1:51
OK, I know I already said thank you, but thank you again.
1:54
You are YouTube, you are the basement.
1:57
Without you, this is not possible.
1:59
It is a big honor that you're here.
2:01
But let's start by talking about what?
2:03
Who's the biggest, the biggest here?
2:07
Hold on here, OK, The biggest institutional investment company
2:12
in the world, BlackRock. OK, BlackRock, they put the word
2:16
institution in institutional investor and when they put out a
2:21
warning their their CEO Larry Fink put out a harsh, harsh
2:26
warning about what's going on right now.
2:29
That's going to set the stage for what we're going to talk
2:31
about with this dollar collapse and how it will impact you,
2:36
right? It's going to impact your life
2:38
and impact the value of your silver and gold.
2:40
So bricks, BlackRock issues economic warning to G7 alliance
2:49
and if we go down here, it says as the bricks continue its
2:52
growth plan, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink again guys, BlackRock is
2:57
it's like the biggest financial firm in the world.
3:00
They like they they again I'll repeat it.
3:02
They put institution in the term institutional investor and their
3:07
CEO issued a stern economic warning to the G7 countries that
3:12
would be the United States England like the big Western
3:15
countries. Fink took to the Financial Times
3:18
and I read this article and this is all true to Penn apiece
3:22
urging the grouping to re evaluate its infrastructure amid
3:26
a looming debt crisis by 20-30. Let's just talk about a couple
3:31
of the main points that he made. This was shocking to me.
3:35
The BlackRock head, Larry Fink noted that the seven nations in
3:38
the group in the G7 Group, A group account for 61 percent of
3:44
the planet's public debt. We own 61 congratulations,
3:49
right, almost 2/3 of the world's public debt.
3:51
Moreover, he stated that the economic future of the of of of
3:56
the world's democracy depends on its ability to decrease that
4:01
figure over just the next several years.
4:04
It's not just Larry Fink, it's it's Ray Dalio, right, who's
4:08
founded Bridgewater Capital. He is one of the most respected
4:12
people in the financial services industry.
4:14
It's Jeffrey Gunlock from a double line, right, the bond
4:18
king, everyone. It's even our old friend Gomer
4:20
Pyle, Jerome Powell, who's who's sounding the alarm here, down
4:25
here. He says the US and the UK and
4:27
their allies are staring down the same growth dilemma.
4:30
Fink said debt burdens have become so large that traditional
4:34
fiscal policies can no longer tame them.
4:37
Guys, we are on a, on a, on a, on a train track heading towards
4:42
a bridge that has collapsed, right?
4:45
How many more turns can we make it around till we hit that
4:48
Cliff, till the train runs off the Cliff by 20-30 that the US
4:52
government must pay out mandatory spending plus interest
4:56
on debt will will permanently exceed what it takes in in tax
5:01
revenue. We are in a debt spiral.
5:05
Think Think statement clearly shows that the state of the debt
5:09
issue is one that can no longer be ignored.
5:12
Even if discretionary spending went to zero, the country would
5:17
still run a deficit, he added. Additionally, he said the
5:21
traditional spending cuts or tax increases wouldn't be enough to
5:25
set save the debt crisis. That isn't just an American
5:28
issue. Fink insurers.
5:30
It's true for most G7 nations. While the alliance accounts for
5:33
this is interesting, 45%, we only account for 45% of the
5:38
global GDP. The figure is losing ground
5:41
because the other countries are growing.
5:43
Specifically, it's losing ground to the BRICS contingent.
5:46
But perhaps the most harrowing of the statistics Fink shares is
5:50
that the G7 accounts. This is shocking.
5:53
The G7 nations only account for 11% of the global workforce.
5:59
OK guys, so we've got Larry Fink, right?
6:02
The CEO of the world's biggest institutional investment firm,
6:07
sounding the alarm. We have Ray Dalio sounding the
6:11
alarm. We have Jerome Powell sounding
6:14
the alarm. He said it like the government
6:16
has to get its act together. We have Jeffrey Gunlock, the
6:20
Bond King, sounding the alarm. We are sounding the alarm, but
6:25
nobody's listening. So when we think about the
6:27
dollar, right, remember the dollar is going to collapse.
6:31
Now you know. You know, right?
6:35
Because if you measure the value of your dollars in gold and
6:39
silver, when the dollar collapses, the value as measured
6:45
of gold and silver in dollars will go up, OK, We'll go up and
6:50
up and up. But it's not so much the value
6:53
of the gold and silver going up, it's the value of the dollars,
6:57
the yen, the euro, going down, down, down, down.
7:02
OK. Now the next thing we're going
7:04
to talk about this is ground breaking research that I put
7:07
together for you. This will show, but we're going
7:10
to take a look at the dollar. Everybody's saying, oh, the
7:12
dollar's done, the dollar's toast.
7:14
And I may even be guilty of that in in some ways, right?
7:18
But it's, you know, there's these two extreme camps, either
7:22
people that say, oh, the dollar isn't going anywhere, or the
7:26
people that say the dollar is toast.
7:28
Here's what I'm going to, I'm going to propose to you is that
7:32
we look somewhere in the middle because I'm telling you, that's
7:35
the reality. Look, we've talked about this
7:38
basement dwellers, you're smart, right?
7:40
You know, things are rarely black or white.
7:42
It's like a divorce. When people get divorced, it's
7:44
not always just one person's fault.
7:46
There's a middle ground, especially when we're dealing
7:49
with a situation like the US dollar where we likely stand.
7:53
But what does that middle ground spell for the real value of
7:59
silver and gold? And we're going to get into
8:01
that. We're going to get into that.
8:02
Right now, we're going to be joined by our friend Coin Shop
8:05
Chris, who's going to follow along with us.
8:07
Hold on here, Coin Shop. Chris, can you hear me?
8:11
I can hear you, Ron. Hey, welcome back to the
8:13
Basement Coin Shop, Chris. Everybody's really happy to see
8:16
you today. How you doing?
8:18
I'm doing well. It's great to be back in the
8:19
basement, Ron. Yeah, Yeah.
8:21
Well, we're talking today, Chris, about the US dollar.
8:24
Do you, do you, do you agree? It seems like people are either
8:28
in this camp where the dollar's doomed the dollar, you know,
8:31
we're going to wake up tomorrow and the dollars are going to be
8:33
worthless, or you have the other camp where people say, no, the
8:37
dollar's the world's reserve currency, always has been and
8:41
always will be. Did you, do you, do you see
8:44
that? Is your, is your kind of
8:46
observing what's happening? Yeah, Ron, you know, I work in
8:49
the coin shop and you know, I, I think a lot of people who stack
8:53
precious metals are in kind of in that camp for the most part.
8:56
Not everybody, I would say, but you know, people a little bit
9:01
more again. And you know, I mean the sales
9:04
of past couple weeks have been kind of flat, but it's, you
9:08
know, it's not as flat as I thought they were going to be
9:10
with the higher prices, you know, going into the higher
9:13
prices for a minute, you know, people thinking they're going to
9:15
wait for a dip. Well, you know, I don't think
9:18
we're going to see much of A dip, but we will get more into
9:20
that late later on. I'm going to buy more silver
9:24
when it hits $22.00 an ounce, Chris, That's what I'm.
9:27
With you're, you're going to be waiting for a long time, my
9:30
friend. I hope so.
9:32
I hope so 'cause I already have plenty of silver like we've,
9:35
I've talked about exhaustively, like if the price and I don't
9:38
think it will either, but I'll, if it does, I'll be backing up
9:42
the truck. I think a lot of our viewers out
9:45
there will be backing up the truck as well.
9:48
And what that'll mean is that #1 premiums will shoot up and #2
9:53
the price will eventually shoot up as well.
9:55
I think there's a lot of support in the silver price.
9:59
If, if the price does dip down even into the 25, I mean, I'll
10:03
be honest with you if it gets to the $25.00 range, which again,
10:07
I'm hoping it doesn't, but if it does this summer, I'll be back
10:11
in the truck up, no doubt about it.
10:12
Well. I'm going to pull out a
10:13
prediction for you, for your audience right now, Ron.
10:17
I believe silver will trade this summer between 28 and 40.
10:22
Not saying it's going to go the 40 it it's got potential go to
10:27
40. Gold, I believe, will trade
10:28
between 2275 and 2515. That is my prediction for the
10:34
summer. If we can hold somewhere in
10:35
between those numbers, we've done really well for the summer
10:40
months. Yeah, if we survive the summer,
10:43
I've got a chart here I'll pull up real quick.
10:45
This is from our friend bald guy money and my my viewers have
10:49
seen this exhaustively, but you may not have Chris.
10:52
This shows since what is it, 1975 through 2020, the monthly
10:58
average returns on gold down there at the bottom.
11:00
And you can see that June, May, June, July are typically low
11:06
return months. But boy, when you head into
11:08
August and September, things really take off, you know?
11:12
Well, what could happen back in 2008, you know, when the
11:15
financial crisis, silver and gold, platinum started to rise.
11:19
I mean, we're we're getting to the same set up.
11:22
You know, I'll tell this little story, Ron, you know, when, when
11:24
we were back in 2009, I guess it was, and silver started to go up
11:30
and I said to a couple of you couldn't put me on the time,
11:34
everybody that's all right. I went through a couple coin
11:37
shows and you know, I got to know the deal was pretty good up
11:40
in Maine there. And, and, and I said Sir was
11:46
going to $50.00 an ounce. And they all look at me like I
11:50
had three heads. Well, I said, well, take my
11:53
phone number down and call me when it happens.
11:55
Well, it took a couple years, but I wish I had a recording of
11:59
this because they I had about four or five phone calls and
12:01
Bill was saying how do I know? Well, I didn't know.
12:03
It's you got to look at what's going on out there with the
12:08
precious metals at all times. And I tell you, we're in the
12:12
same set up as 2011 right now. Yeah.
12:16
Yeah, yeah, Coin shop Chris definitely has crystal balls,
12:19
there's no doubt about it. And, and I know there's nobody
12:23
out there that follows silver and gold for that matter, and
12:27
platinum as closely as you do. And, you know, we can look at
12:32
all kinds of fancy charts. We can look at all kinds of
12:34
different fundamental issues and datas.
12:36
But you know, we have to kind of aggregate all of it into our own
12:41
heads, right? Our own little supercomputers
12:43
and, and go with our gut feeling.
12:46
And yeah, I, I would agree with you, Chris.
12:48
I think my, my gut feeling is we're going to struggle through
12:50
the summer right now, a little bit of a struggle, but that I
12:54
really feel like September time frame because of a number of
12:59
different factors coming together that we could see, you
13:04
know, significantly higher prices for silver and gold for
13:07
that matter as well, no doubt. Well, absolutely.
13:10
You know, I believe we're going to have to see interest rates
13:12
cuts in September. I, there's, I'm going to put a
13:16
95% chance on it right right now.
13:18
Now that could change and I will come back and tell you what I
13:22
think later on. But right now I think we can see
13:25
at least a 95% chance we will see interest rates cut.
13:28
And when that happens, the metals will take off.
13:32
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And when silver gets above $34,
13:35
that that's going to be the hard part is getting up to $3334 for
13:40
silver in particular. But from 34 to 50 is going to be
13:46
much easier than from 29 to 34. Absolutely.
13:50
We're going to people's heads are going to be spending all
13:52
three of your heads, Chris will be spending at once.
13:56
When you, when you see how fast silver goes from 34 to 4434 to
14:01
50, whatever the case may be, it's going to be a good time.
14:04
It's going to be a, a, a definite, I think, surprise and
14:09
shock to a lot of people, and it's going to pull a lot of new
14:12
investors into the precious metal sector because there just
14:16
aren't many people up in that $40 range who are who are
14:21
looking to sell their silver. There's just going to be a lot
14:24
more buyers. That's my prediction.
14:26
Well, you know, and then I this is the debate too.
14:29
I mean, there's not a lot of history above $30.
14:32
There's not a lot of charting history above that price.
14:35
We had a couple ups and downs from the that point, but over 30
14:39
we don't have a lot of charting to really find out where how
14:44
high this could go. No, no, you're absolutely,
14:47
you're absolutely right. Because I'm seeing if I could
14:49
pull a chart up here, what we can just say this, the reality
14:53
is, the reality is that that silver's only been above $30.00
14:58
for very, very short periods of time, right?
15:01
And I would imagine, and I, I don't have a, you know what I
15:03
mean? I mean, they were spikes.
15:05
So if we, if we build up into that range this time a little
15:10
more slowly, although I just said I thought it would happen
15:13
quickly, it, it could be a different, different environment
15:18
altogether, you know, Absolutely.
15:21
Exactly. Absolutely.
15:23
Another point I want to, you know, tell your view is, is know
15:27
when people come in, in the shop and they don't have, you know,
15:29
there's a lot of people on are hurting out there.
15:31
I will tell you that they're trying to sell, you know, maybe
15:34
buy a little less. And you know, I say, you know,
15:37
you know, I'm not giving no financial advice here 'cause we
15:40
can't run. But you know when you're out
15:43
there buying stuff, eat at the grocery store at Lowe's, Home
15:46
Depot, Walmart, take a snapshot of your current 90% silver
15:51
prices. And where you find that, just
15:53
type in Google silver calculator charts and they will tell you
15:59
what a silver dime will melt for a silver quarter, melt for a
16:03
half dollar and compare that to silver instead of using Fiat
16:06
currency saying is this worth a silver quarter?
16:10
Is this worth a silver dime? And I tell you what, you
16:13
probably will put some of that those products back on the shelf
16:17
and take that Fiat and go buy some more silver.
16:20
That is it really saves money. I mean really it saves me money
16:24
about $1520 a week sometimes, if not more 'cause this stuff that
16:29
I like to get at the grocery store like my Ding Dongs are on
16:33
and you know, sometimes I have to put those things back because
16:37
they're 5-6 bucks a bucks. Now is that with a silver
16:40
quarter really? No, no, no, no.
16:43
So Chris, as we're talking to our viewer right now, right,
16:48
that's me and you speaking. But there's, there's a bunch of,
16:51
there's one person, right? The bunch of individuals that
16:53
are joining us right now. Likely this viewer, this
16:56
basement dweller, right, is a silver investor, a gold
17:01
investor, maybe a precious metal mining stock investor.
17:04
One of the biggest stories out there right now is the demise of
17:08
the US dollar. Everybody's talking about the
17:10
bricks and the bricks and like, and, and, and again, there's
17:12
like 2 camps, right? There's the extreme, the dollar
17:15
is going to be, you know, we're going to wake up Monday and the
17:17
dollar is going to be worthless camp.
17:19
And then the other camp, which is, no, you're crazy, the dollar
17:22
is not going anywhere. But what I would like to say to
17:26
our viewer is this, that there is some middle ground and I put
17:30
together this chart. Do you mind if we go through
17:32
this chart 'cause I think this will explain to people pretty
17:36
clearly what is going on out there.
17:39
And by the way, Tara, thank you for that awesome super chat,
17:42
super appreciated, really generous, and thank you so much.
17:46
But I call this the TSF, OK? We're talking about D
17:50
dollarization. And I think what everybody
17:53
misses is that it's going on on three different levels, right?
17:58
The dollar, it is, is, is, is being affected on three
18:03
different levels. The dollar is losing value on
18:06
three different levels in the TSF.
18:10
And that's beneficial. That's what I have in blue to
18:13
silver and gold. At the end of the day, it's
18:15
absolutely beneficial that this is OK.
18:20
Thank you, Susie. Susie's speaking to me through
18:23
the walkie-talkie there. It's beneficial, but the dollar
18:28
is doomed or the dollar is king. That seems to be the two camps.
18:32
So if we look at it on three levels, Chris and I want you to,
18:35
I want you to help me here and tell me if this makes sense.
18:37
And I want our viewer to help me here and tell me if this makes
18:39
sense. Because, you know, this is a
18:42
Ron's basement exclusive, so bear that in mind.
18:45
But the first level is the transactional level, the trade
18:48
level, right? Everybody just says, oh, the
18:50
dollar de dollarization, the dollar.
18:52
Well, the dollar is still king and likely will be for a while
18:57
for trade purposes, OK, between countries, although more and
19:00
more countries, including the bricks are moving away from the
19:03
dollar and settling trade in their native currencies.
19:08
And I, and I say that's like you, OK, or me, Chris, that we
19:12
still use dollars from our checking account to trade,
19:15
right? When we go to the grocery store,
19:17
when we go to the gas station, when we go to the movie theater,
19:20
whatever, we're not using silver.
19:22
So on a worldwide basis, as we look at the dollar, I think it
19:26
will continue to be used for trade, although I'll throw this
19:31
in that that level is diminishing, right?
19:36
But there's really still nothing out there.
19:39
Now the Chinese and the Saudis and you know, all these BRICS
19:42
countries are, are starting to do transactions.
19:44
So it's important also to realize that at least what the
19:48
evidence shows us when I'm we're just trying to be completely
19:51
objective here is that on a trade basis, the dollar is king,
19:56
although that, that, that that is beginning to erode and that
20:01
will hurt the real value of the dollar.
20:04
But then if we go to the next level, right, because it's TSF
20:08
and that is as a store of value, as a savings or a reserve, OK.
20:13
This is where the impact I think is, is, is even greater when it
20:17
comes to the D dollarizations. Many countries are already
20:20
moving away from the dollar as a reserve asset or a store of
20:25
value, right? They're selling U.S.
20:27
Treasuries. We know that Japan, China does
20:31
everybody selling treasuries and what are they doing?
20:33
They're buying more gold. Why?
20:35
Because countries fear the dollar number one, losing its
20:39
value in #2 weaponization with sanctions or seizure, right?
20:44
That the US can just take those dollars away.
20:47
And I say in parentheses from on a personal level for you and for
20:51
me and for our viewers, that's like you not wanting to store
20:55
your long term value in a bank savings account, right?
20:58
You would rather save that value in silver and gold.
21:02
And that's exactly what countries are doing.
21:04
Like they'll use the dollar for transactions, but then when
21:08
there's excess money, they want to convert that into gold,
21:12
right? Which is, which is what a lot of
21:14
our you and a lot of our viewers do.
21:15
It's the same thing. It's like, well, you know, I got
21:18
to use dollars to pay my electric bill, so I have to have
21:20
a checking account, but I'm not going to store a bunch of
21:23
dollars in a savings account for the next.
21:26
I mean, they, you know, just like you and I, these countries
21:28
look out over the next 10 years and they're like, I don't feel
21:31
comfortable with where the dollar's going.
21:33
Does that does that make sense, Chris?
21:35
That makes sense, Ron. You know, with, you know, where
21:38
is it, OPEC, you know, now accepting the Chinese yuan for
21:43
their oil. And you know what's gonna happen
21:48
with these dolls? They're coming back home.
21:50
They're going to hit our shores back home and that's going to
21:53
turn into hyperinflation and food prices going to go up.
21:59
Everything we buy, your light bill, your mortgage, if you have
22:03
a, what's that rate called? A balloon rate where you know,
22:07
they just advance, what's their rates?
22:09
Everything's going to go up. And what else is going to go up
22:12
with it? Silver.
22:13
It's not the silver is going to go up.
22:15
It's your dollar is getting weaker and weaker and weaker.
22:18
Yes, exactly, exactly. And that's a key fundamental
22:21
thing for, for for our viewers, our basement dwellers to
22:25
understand. It's not necessarily we always
22:28
like to think, oh, silver and I and I'm guilty of it, right.
22:30
Oh, silver's going up or oh, gold, I was just said it's
22:33
something that oh, the price of silver's up at the neighborhood
22:35
pool. I'm like, they were asking about
22:36
something. Yeah, the price of silver's up.
22:38
It's not so much that the price of silver's up, it's that the
22:41
value of the dollar is down. And and that, and that leads
22:46
into the third factor, right? We have the transactional side
22:49
of the dollar, You have the savings component of the dollar.
22:52
But underpinning it all is the fundamental, what I would call
22:57
almost, almost guaranteed failure of the dollar at some
23:02
point, right? And that's because we have
23:05
massive debt levels. That's because we have the
23:08
situation like as I let off this, this live stream video
23:12
with Larry Fink from BlackRock pointing out that we're kind of
23:15
doomed. We're in a debt spiral right
23:16
now, right? We have massive debt levels,
23:18
reckless spending by the government and that will
23:21
continue to erode the real value of the US dollar.
23:25
Gunlock and Ray Dalio bring it up.
23:27
All three of these factors, right?
23:29
The on the transactional side, that's probably still the
23:32
strongest, but that's, that's experiencing erosion, right?
23:36
The, the use of the dollar for, for transactions amongst the
23:40
BRICS countries, for instance, that is really happening that,
23:43
that these countries are beginning to move away from the
23:46
dollar. And then you have the, the
23:49
savings component of the store of value.
23:51
That's definitely happening. Countries are selling their
23:54
treasuries moving away. And then at the same time you
23:57
have this third factor, the, the, the fundamentals.
24:00
And we know there's like no arguing the fact that the
24:04
fundamentals underlying the dollar aren't looking real good,
24:07
right? And those kind of feed into the
24:09
other two factors as well. It's just not a good situation.
24:11
Am I being negative? I don't want to be too negative.
24:14
No, you're not being negative. You're telling the facts, Ron.
24:17
I mean, you see it. We all see it.
24:20
Every time we go to the grocery store, something has else we
24:23
buy, has gone up and up and up. I mean, you know, it's, it's
24:28
getting sickening, is hurting people and people are having a
24:31
hard time just putting food on the table, never mind buying
24:34
silver, gold or platinum, you know, I mean, it's, you know, I
24:38
have a young female that comes in on a couple three times a
24:42
week sometimes she works at a restaurant, she works on tips.
24:45
She gets a little bit of money. You know, she makes a bit more
24:47
than the average minimum wage for her job too.
24:50
Her extra job actually pays her pretty good but she comes in.
24:54
It's OK to go walk into a coin shop or go online and buy a few
25:00
oz even you go on pin backs and buy it from pin backs run
25:04
sponsor. They have great prices.
25:06
It's always to place a small order.
25:09
Just get what you can. Don't overbuy because you don't
25:13
want to be caught selling in three or four months.
25:18
I mean, you know, I mean pay yourself first.
25:21
You don't pay your bills. You got any little extra money
25:24
leftover, Just get what you can save it up and and get what you
25:28
can later and cost average. Don't worry about the price.
25:33
I cannot stress this enough, Ron.
25:35
I see this every single day. People come in, They said,
25:37
Chris, I should have listened to you when silver was $21.00 an
25:40
ounce. I thought I was going to 17.
25:42
Look at it now. We're at almost 30 again now,
25:45
Ron. I mean, I mean, I hope people
25:48
can understand what I'm trying to say is cost average.
25:51
Don't you know, If you think silver's going to go to 100
25:54
bucks, 200 bucks an ounce, it's three or $4.00 an ounce.
25:56
You're going to save now, going to pay off later.
26:00
Heck, no cost average now. Yeah, you and I have always
26:04
recommended to our viewers to dollar cost average, right?
26:08
Like and I did that over the years.
26:10
I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm not buying as much as I used to 'cause I just
26:14
have enough, right And it's stored in an off site location.
26:18
But none the less, if you are in buy mode or you are acquiring
26:23
metal, do it. Do it once every six months, do
26:26
it once every three months, do it once a week, do it whatever.
26:29
But don't just take everything. And while, and we're not giving
26:32
financial advice, but you're taking risk if you take
26:35
everything at one point and just dump it into silver or dump it
26:38
into gold. You have to recognize that
26:41
unless you spread it out over a period of time, hey, it could
26:44
work out great, right? If, if, if by December we're
26:48
sitting here with $45.00 silver, people would be really happy.
26:52
But you know, the prices go up and down.
26:54
Silver is a very volatile metal, no doubt about it.
27:01
Yeah, exactly. You know and what I want to say,
27:05
you know, I don't know if you want to do the pin back deal now
27:07
I found for everybody. What I I'll tell you what I want
27:09
to do. I want to say thank you to our
27:10
friend Ron McAdams. Look at him.
27:12
His. Smile.
27:12
Thank you, Ron. I see that on the screen.
27:15
Thank you, Ron. We'll say thank you to Tara
27:17
again for the. Super.
27:18
Thank you, Tara. And we have Silver Sheepdog.
27:23
Thank you for the. Super.
27:24
Thank you. Let's talk about the bricks and
27:26
a gold back currency. And we're not going to spend a
27:28
lot of time on this, but I'm hearing more and more people,
27:32
you know, we got a big bricks meeting now we just talked about
27:34
right, we're somewhere in the middle.
27:35
So I'm going to recognize these next two articles are kind of
27:38
the extreme, like the dollar is dying type camp these bricks.
27:43
Some of the people that are saying, oh, we're definitely
27:45
going to get a bricks gold back currency.
27:47
So let's just look at kind of the latest news that we have out
27:51
there, Chris, in that regard. And then we'll then we'll get
27:54
into some some comparison shopping.
27:56
Where are we? Here we are.
27:58
Here, here we go. And we are.
28:04
Yeah. Bricks Gold bank currency to be
28:08
launched at 2024 Summit question mark.
28:11
OK, so let's see what they have to say.
28:13
I got this highlighted so we can run through it.
28:16
The Bricks aim to launch a new currency that will be backed by
28:19
gold as a counter to the US dollar.
28:22
A common currency will make the alliance usher into a new
28:26
financial era and become a cornerstone for further
28:30
developments. The upcoming summit in 2024,
28:34
which will be in Russia by the way, will shed more light on the
28:37
policies aimed to topple the US dollar.
28:41
So again, this is kind of the in the, you know, the dollars being
28:44
the dollars doomed camp. Reports suggest that the bricks
28:48
could back their new currency with gold and not the US dollar
28:52
or other local currencies. I want to come back.
28:56
That's a very important point right there.
28:58
The alliance in Orange aims to get back to the gold standard.
29:02
Gold standard what? And maintain a multi polar world
29:07
for all trade and transactions. What's likely at minimum going
29:12
to happen with the And this is good for silver and gold
29:16
investors, right, 'cause we know they're already acquiring
29:19
massive amounts of gold and silver, right?
29:21
We know India imported, you know, whatever probably is
29:24
imported 15% of the world's silver production already, the
29:30
world's annual silver production already imported that much this
29:33
year, but gold as well. But what, what's likely going to
29:37
happen? This is I think critical for us
29:40
and, and for our basement dweller viewers to understand is
29:43
as these countries start to trade amongst themselves and
29:47
trade in their own national currencies, somebody's always
29:51
going to wind up with a surplus, right?
29:53
Like let's say the let's say the Saudis sell oil to China.
29:59
That's always the easiest example.
30:01
I'm sorry. Yeah, but Saudis sell oil to
30:04
China. So China imports all that oil.
30:07
China pays the Saudis with Chinese yuan, Right.
30:10
And so the the Saudis have the Chinese yuan and they're like,
30:14
well, what are we going to do with this?
30:16
Right. There's only so much that we can
30:19
do with the Chinese yuan. So they buy some products from
30:22
the Chinese, but they still have some yuan leftover, right?
30:26
And like what? We don't want to hold this yuan.
30:30
We may not like dollars, but we like the yuan even less.
30:33
So what are they going to do? They're going to take that that
30:35
excess Chinese yuan they have. They're going to go to the
30:38
Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is a physical market and
30:42
immediately convert that excess yuan into gold, right?
30:47
Or maybe even silver, who knows, and that's going to go on and
30:52
all over between the BRICS countries.
30:54
That's kind of the middle of the road.
30:56
But guys, that's good for the value of the precious metals.
31:01
That is their they call that a trade settlement currency,
31:04
right? Like if like if, like if coin
31:06
shop Chris and I wanted to trade.
31:09
Let's say I had a, a nice flat screen TV that he wanted and he
31:15
had 10 extra boxes of Ding dongs, right?
31:19
And so I, I want his Ding Dongs. He gives me his ten boxes of
31:23
Ding Dongs. I give him my TV, but I'm like,
31:25
hey, the TV was worth $100 more than the Ding Dongs.
31:30
You can either give me paper dollars or he could give me 3
31:34
ounces of silver and I would take the 3 ounces of silver.
31:37
Does that make sense, Chris? That makes absolutely sense.
31:41
I mean, it happens every day. I mean, you know, if, you know,
31:44
you go on these websites like Facebook, Ron and you know,
31:47
people trade stuff every single day on Craigslist.
31:51
You know, some people even trade, you know, goods for
31:53
goods. You know, they don't have to be
31:56
money all the time. If the two parties agree, if you
31:59
agree to trade goods for services and you accept silver
32:02
or gold as payment or you accept a motorcycle for payment, it
32:07
don't matter. It's between two parties.
32:12
I mean, that's, you know, that's the thing we have to look out
32:15
for. I mean, because I do believe
32:17
eventually, you know, we will be trading silver and gold for
32:22
service and goods. It could come sooner than three
32:25
years, it could be 10 years out. Nobody knows.
32:28
And. Well, let let's look at one more
32:33
fantastic and I'll emphasize extreme headline.
32:37
And this is again on the on the kind of extreme side.
32:40
So I'm I'm not saying that this is factual or this is going to
32:43
happen. But this this these guys that
32:45
tell us or say the bricks announce a completely plans to
32:49
completely abandoned the US dollar.
32:52
And I guess this is a picture from the recent, there's the
32:55
Russian guy in the middle as a member of the BRICS community in
32:59
June of 2024. Again, these big BRICS meetings
33:03
are coming up, I think in September in Russia where some
33:06
people I've heard, I've heard a, a couple, what I would call a
33:11
reputable analyst talk about the prospect of a gold backed trade
33:18
settlement currency being announced.
33:21
I'm not saying I think I don't think it's going to happen.
33:23
I think it could happen. I'm not making that prediction,
33:26
but some people are talking about a gold backed trade
33:28
settlement currency announcement coming out of this meeting.
33:31
Hey, with everything going on in the world, who knows right?
33:34
Says the new Development Bank of the economic alliance.
33:37
BRICS announced on Wednesday its plans to completely abandoned to
33:43
abandon completely the US dollar in the next three years.
33:48
OK, this says Malaysia plans to join BRICS.
33:50
You can't even keep up with it's unbelievable the number of
33:53
countries that are interested in joining the bricks.
33:56
To that end, the bricks will contemplate an integration plan
33:59
with local currencies to be driven by the project of
34:03
independent payment system that could be presented this year.
34:06
According to some sources, which they're not naming, Saudi Arabia
34:11
could also abandoned the dollar in oil in the oil trade and
34:15
liquidation transactions and and liquidate transactions and yuan,
34:20
a measure that would bring huge losses to the currency as China
34:24
buys more than 20% of the country's oil exports exports.
34:29
So sure feels like the world is changing at A at a clip like
34:34
we've never seen before. I don't buy the fact that these
34:38
people that say well, the dollar's the king, the dollar's
34:41
never going to go away the dollar, but I don't buy it.
34:44
When I look at the transactional right, like we talked about the
34:48
T right in the TSF, the transactional evidence that we
34:52
have right now, the countries are are starting to move away
34:56
from the dollar and we look at the savings, the store of value
34:59
component. When we look at that on a large
35:02
worldwide national basis, countries are definitely selling
35:05
their treasuries. They don't want to hold the
35:07
dollar as much as a store of value.
35:10
I'm not saying 100%, OK or anything like that, but the
35:13
trends in both those areas, am I right?
35:17
I mean, am I crazy, Chris, or is the trend in both those areas?
35:20
No, the trend moving more up and up and up.
35:23
And that is the problem that we're seeing.
35:26
Other countries are getting away from the dollar.
35:28
They're stacking gold, they're stacking silver.
35:31
Especially India's crazy about silver right right now.
35:36
And you know, there is, you know, people, you know, when I
35:39
say this, people are going to make a comment and say I'm
35:40
crazy, but that's OK. There is a silver shortage.
35:43
And what I mean by that, you can go online, there's plenty of
35:47
serve out there for the for the consumer right now to buy
35:52
offline or your coin shops, whatever, Yes, but the supply is
35:57
getting thin out there. We're still getting it in, but
36:00
their products are starting to trickle in, are slower than
36:03
normal, you know, like your generic rounds.
36:07
I mean, they just can't keep up. I mean, the demand is getting a
36:10
little bit more crazy at times. I mean, it depends what the
36:13
market is doing. If the silver goes up $1.50,
36:17
people are rushing to buy, it goes down $1.50, nobody comes
36:21
in. It seems like.
36:23
I mean, you know, it's crazy, but that's how it seems to work.
36:26
People like to buy it when it's moving on up.
36:29
The confused silver investor, right, that buys when it goes up
36:33
and sells when it goes down. But as it really starts to go
36:37
up, that could lead to some massive waves of buying.
36:41
I mean, consider this right. Consider the fact that this
36:44
world that we live in now with instant communication and Chris
36:49
and the ability to buy silver and gold and platinum instantly,
36:55
right? Like instantly.
36:56
Like like in the next 5 minutes, if you and I wanted to, we could
37:00
buy a monster box online of, of silver, right?
37:04
I mean, they can happen so quickly in this day and age.
37:07
I don't think that people realize the implications of
37:11
that, number one, the communication, right?
37:14
But #2 the fact that the available supplies can get wiped
37:18
out in the matter of hours. And we've seen examples of that
37:22
over the last, what, four or five years during the little
37:25
banking crisis, during the C19 crisis, you couldn't find
37:29
silver. You had to wait 5-6 weeks if you
37:31
were lucky to get it. Shipped, if not longer, yes,
37:34
yeah, and some price was a little bit longer.
37:36
You know, luckily the shop I work for, you know, a lot of
37:40
shops don't have the financial status to hold a couple
37:45
$1,000,000 and then inventory. They just don't have the
37:48
finances. Luckily my own has been doing
37:50
this for a long time. He's been doing this since 1982
37:54
and he started in a little Allstate or I think it was
37:58
Allstate that he said. They gave him a little table and
38:01
he started selling peace dollars.
38:03
That's how he got into open his own shop and gradually, you
38:08
know, he never advertised, never paid a penny for advertisement
38:12
on newspapers, TV, whatever. And he grew amazing business.
38:16
Yeah. Yeah.
38:17
By honestly and and getting the word out there is the word that
38:21
melt spreads the word. Yeah, you know.
38:25
Yeah, that's why that's how you and I, you and I met.
38:29
You told me a great story back what a year and a half ago when
38:33
we met about a person who brought a coin in just looking
38:37
to they just thought it was a normal old one ounce gold coin
38:41
and you guys were like that. If I remember correctly, you
38:45
kind of told this, this person who had no clue.
38:47
Like that's actually not worth a lot more than just the gold
38:52
content in that coin, right? Exactly.
38:54
Yes. Yeah, Yeah, right.
38:57
And and are you? I remember you as we just first
38:59
met you telling me that story and how how happy you were about
39:04
the fact that you got to surprise this person and tell
39:08
him no. I think I think gold was like
39:11
18-19 hundred at the time. That coin's worth like double
39:15
the amount and I think you guys shipped it off to have it graded
39:18
and. We shipped it off to have it
39:19
graded and came back as a excellent grade at Ms. 68.
39:24
Yeah. I mean, you know, it was amazing
39:27
that you know, I mean, you know what people have and they don't
39:31
know. And you know, you know, I do
39:33
have a channel on as you know, and you know, I try to educate
39:37
people on different coins and, you know, I go a little bit
39:41
further down the roads in the weeds with, you know, the what's
39:44
going out there with the prices and stuff on food, food.
39:47
And so I mean, that's what I like to do on on my side of
39:51
things. But no, I mean, it's people.
39:53
If you're going to leave your silver or gold after you pass
39:58
on, make sure you either have a note or you tell them in advance
40:05
of what you have. Don't let your family members or
40:10
friends go into a coin shop and say I don't know what this stuff
40:14
is worth. There is there is a handful of
40:18
coin shops are not going to be honest and take advantage and
40:24
you just don't want that. You want someone honest, honest,
40:29
honest. And that's the key to this
40:30
because it's, you know, the more honest we can be with people
40:34
that the word gets out. And that's how we get more
40:37
business. Yeah.
40:38
Yeah, yeah. Let's, let's run out the
40:40
Pembecks real quick and then we're going to talk about some
40:43
comparison shopping that Chris did.
40:45
But I want to say thank you to our channel sponsor.
40:47
This is not possible guys, without the support of our
40:50
sponsors, including Pimbex Pi MB EX, pimbex.com.
40:56
That's where I buy my silver and I'm not going to ever tell you
41:02
what to do, but I would recommend that if you are going
41:05
to shop around to buy some silver, gold or platinum online,
41:09
definitely put Pimbex in the mix and look at what they can do for
41:14
you. I always find they have a great
41:16
selection, which is important, right?
41:18
Thank God they have the, the, the products that I want, but on
41:22
top of that, they always seem to have the best prices.
41:26
And it's a company that I can trust.
41:28
So I like the fact that I can just go there, know that I'm
41:31
getting a great price and know that I'm going to get a package.
41:34
I got an e-mail. I don't know if I shared it.
41:36
I think I shared it with the guys at Pembeks.
41:38
I got an e-mail yesterday from one of the basement dwellers
41:41
saying he just bought some silver from Pembax and and it
41:46
took his six year old son an hour and a half to get the
41:48
package open because it was packaged so well.
41:51
So. They packaged very, very, very
41:53
well, yes. You get your own little personal
41:57
Fort Knox that comes in the mail.
41:58
So, so what's, what are you seeing out there, Chris?
42:01
Like if we're looking at premiums on silver, you know, I
42:05
like to tell people that like we're really spoiled right now
42:08
because premiums are still historically, I think relatively
42:12
low. We've got the silver, we got the
42:15
silver price that's gone up. But I think most of us agree
42:20
that it's still artificially being held down by our friends
42:24
at the COMEX in the LBMA over in London, England.
42:27
Have you been looking around at anything?
42:29
Have you looking at Eagles or what are you?
42:31
What are you seeing when you look around out there?
42:33
Well, when you see our friends at the COMEX in the LBMAI, don't
42:37
call them my friends with. I call them clowns, Ron.
42:40
That's what they are, clowns. And what?
42:44
Hold on one second. Susie's talking to me in the
42:47
walkie-talkie breaker breaker. Susie, we didn't catch what you
42:51
just said. I'm.
42:53
Ready to hear some of those awesome bullion bullion deal?
42:59
OK. Thank you.
43:01
Sorry, Chris, you Susie's ready to hear about the good deals out
43:04
there. Go.
43:04
Ahead OK, so I checked some websites around for a Tuba
43:07
Silver Eagles 2024 and this is all ACH, meaning taking it right
43:13
out of your bank account. No credit cards, no nothing.
43:16
I hope it's OK, Chris, I put this together.
43:18
Do you? I don't know if you can see it
43:19
on the screen. That's fine.
43:21
That's yes, yes, I can see it. So money Metals or the two Basil
43:26
vehicles were $750.60 pin backs as of Friday night.
43:32
These were all taken Friday night as they were $700.00 and
43:38
701 dollars. Excuse me on that one.
43:41
Went over at Max 746 sixty for the same tube of Silver Eagles
43:46
2020 Fours Hero Bowling had them for seven O 280.
43:51
JM Bowling had them for 7/16/60. So we took the highest price at
43:57
Money Metals at 760 minus the pin backs cost at 7 O1, the same
44:03
as a $49.60 Ron. Wow, I think you said 760, but
44:08
you meant to say 750 and $0.60. But you're right, your math is
44:12
correct. That's almost a $50 savings.
44:16
And that's what I always tell people.
44:18
I'm like, you know, I always shop around.
44:20
I always want to make sure that I'm getting the best prices.
44:24
But hey, you know what? If I'm going to buy a tube of
44:26
American Silver Eagles and it's the exact same tube of American
44:30
Silver Eagles and I can get it for $50 less at, at one company
44:37
over another, which in this case just happens to be Pinbex, I'm
44:41
going to buy it from Pinbex. And then I can buy, you know, I
44:45
can buy another oz, oz and a half coin and when I open my
44:49
box, get the tube and the extra oz and the extra half oz for
44:53
free, right? Yeah, you can actually buy one
44:58
extra eagle from Pinbex with the same order over money medals and
45:05
get an extra oz silver or I know you like Taco Bell, Ron, and
45:09
Taco Bell right now has an excellent deal right now, a
45:12
$7.00 box. You can take the whole family
45:14
out Ron, and if for $28.00 you still have the savings over
45:19
Money metals, you can go to run to Walmart Ron and get yourself
45:24
4 jugs of ice cream, the 48 oz. That they have cut down, cut
45:28
down, cut down that's going to cost you 1692.
45:33
You can get yourself a box of keeble ice cream cones 24 count
45:37
for two 996 and you can get a job smuckers hot fudge and have
45:41
the girls friends come over after you guys go talk about and
45:44
I'll give them give all their friends ice cream or less than
45:47
you can. Thank you, Pinbex.
45:49
Yes. Thank you Pinbex.
45:53
So for those of you who don't know, Coin Shop, Chris has
45:55
started his own channel and we're going to head out and take
45:58
a look at that right now as well.
46:00
Hold on here. It's a small candle going right
46:03
right now. I'm growing.
46:05
They they all start out small, Chris.
46:08
Every single one of them start out small.
46:10
So what I want to ask you guys to do is to go out onto YouTube
46:14
and you can just type this in right here.
46:16
Coin chop, Chris. There's his logo coins, as you
46:19
might imagine, and the big coin up here.
46:22
Subscribe to his channel, watch some of his videos.
46:25
He's putting out content, I think every day.
46:27
Is that right, Chris? I try to put out a video every
46:30
single day and two shorts every day and I also will come on with
46:34
a short right around the 4:00 hour on the East Coast time and
46:39
I also give an update on silver, gold and platinum every single
46:43
day. All right, awesome.
46:45
Look at these 1964 Kennedy 90% silver halves.
46:49
I mean you and you, I know you dig in because we both know
46:53
you're an expert in the coin field.
46:56
You dig into more of the coin related and stacking related,
47:01
but also some interesting, you know, like like general economic
47:05
news stories as well. So I want everybody to please go
47:09
out and check out Chris's new channel, if you will.
47:12
Thank you for all the support, Ron.
47:14
Thank you to the ones who have already come over from your
47:16
channel. You have been a big help
47:18
motivator. Ron, you know, you've been on my
47:21
behind for a while to do my own YouTube channel.
47:27
You know, I'm, I'm not a good public speaker.
47:29
Some of you might know and but I, I try my best.
47:32
I do my best. But I got to give you some
47:34
recognition here too, Ron. You know, when I was, you know,
47:38
doing videos with you in the past, you called me up one day.
47:41
I'm sure people, you just remember this when the coin
47:43
shops where the banks were getting, you know, the accounts
47:47
getting shut down because they have a coin shop and all these
47:50
other Youtubers blew this up over, you know, over nothing.
47:54
And I told Ron I remember this phone call very directly.
47:57
I told Ron I said we can discuss about this.
48:00
I don't have a problem, but I think it's going to be a nothing
48:03
burger. Couple weeks go by, it turns out
48:05
to be a nothing burger. Thank you Ron for not blowing
48:09
that story up. Well, I think you got to be
48:12
careful and, and even like today's subject matters very
48:16
sensitive, right? We're talking about the US
48:18
dollar. We're talking about the demise
48:20
of the dollar. And it's easy.
48:21
And hey, look, I'm not perfect and I'm not busting anybody's
48:24
chops. Everybody's free to present
48:27
things the way they like. But I think they come out and
48:29
say, Oh my gosh, guys, the dollar's doomed.
48:32
Get out of completely get out of the and which I personally kind
48:35
of believe, like I don't want to have a lot of my money exposed
48:39
to the US dollar, but you got to be careful how you present
48:41
things because usually somewhere in the middle lies the truth.
48:46
Now, when it comes to the situation with the US dollar, I
48:50
feel confident, right? And it's always just my opinion,
48:53
right? I always tell people don't make
48:54
financial decisions based on what I'm saying.
48:56
But but I do feel confident that the real value of the dollar is
49:01
going down. OK, got to ring the cowbell.
49:03
Hold on here. Hey, that's for 200 thumbs up.
49:08
That's for all the basement dwellers that are joining us
49:11
today. Chris, we've had almost 5. 100.
49:13
People on our live stream, yeah, almost 500 people on our live
49:17
stream. But I do feel confident saying,
49:20
yeah, the dollar is, is, is, is. I mean, just I won't go back in.
49:25
But you know, the fundamentals behind the dollar aren't good,
49:29
right? And it's not just you and me
49:31
talking about it. It's even this guy, right?
49:33
Let's get him out. What do you say, Chris?
49:35
Oh, please don't bring him out. Really visit right it's even
49:39
this guy is talking about the fact that, hey, we've got get
49:43
his angle there he is him here, here coin shop Chris and Gomer
49:46
Pyle live. I mean, we've got problems.
49:50
It's also Ray Dalio, right Bridgewater, one of the most
49:54
successful hedge fund managers in the world.
49:57
It's Jeffrey Gunlock, the bond king.
50:00
And now it's the CEO of BlackRock, the the biggest
50:04
institutional investment firm. I mean, they're all sounding the
50:08
alarm, right? I mean, our, our, our
50:10
politicians in Washington aren't caring.
50:12
They're not sounding the alarm. But I I do feel confident in
50:15
saying that the real value of the dollar.
50:18
I mean and that's what it's really about right, the real
50:20
value of the dollar. Hey, 10 years from now, right?
50:24
I mean, what is it? A euro?
50:26
The euro to dollar exchange rate is what, like a Bonnie, look it
50:29
up, $1.12, whatever, right? Or 1112.
50:33
It could be the same thing 10 years from now, the value
50:37
relative between the dollar and the euro.
50:39
What we care about is what's $100 bill?
50:43
How many gallons of gasoline does $100 bill buy you today?
50:46
Oh, about 30 here in Saint Louis.
50:49
How many gallons of gasoline is $100 bill going to buy you 10
50:53
years from now? Maybe two, right?
50:55
Who knows, right? Maybe three, right?
50:58
That's what we're worried about. That's what we're what we're
51:01
focused on when we're talking about silver and gold.
51:05
What about the example I heard I talked about it last night, Matt
51:08
Pipenberg from gold, the guy from Switzerland.
51:11
I love that guy. Smartest guy in the room, right?
51:14
100 years ago you could buy a house.
51:18
OK, you could buy a house with five thousand U.S. dollars, so
51:22
you got a box with $5001 bills in it. 100 years ago you could
51:27
buy a house. Or you could buy a house with
51:30
251 oz gold coins cause gold coins were worth about $20 each
51:35
back then. So you.
51:36
Had to. Yeah, so you could either use
51:39
$5001 bills or you could use 251 oz gold coins, right, to buy
51:46
that house 100 years ago. Fast forward to today, if you
51:50
take that box, that same box with those same $5001 bills in
51:55
it, you can't even, you can't even get the driveway built
51:59
right. You can't even get the basement
52:01
poured right. But if you take that box, same
52:04
box with those same 251 oz gold coins, it's worth a little bit
52:10
shy of 600 thousand U.S. dollars.
52:14
You can get yourself, most places in this country, a nice
52:18
house. You can furnish it, you can get
52:21
it landscaped, and you can throw a big party for all the basement
52:23
dwellers at the same time. That's what we're talking about,
52:27
right? You hit it right.
52:28
You hit that right on the nose, Ron, because I.
52:31
Stole that from Matt Pipenberg, but I love that guy and it's
52:34
just the way he described that it was like I got to, I got to
52:37
repeat this at least 25 times to all the basement dwellers 'cause
52:41
that's why we why we love silver and gold.
52:44
Well, keep repeating it wrong because people need to hear
52:47
things five times for them to get.
52:50
You know most people do, but you know you.
52:52
That is an excellent point 'cause I used to.
52:58
Uh oh. I think we lost coin shop.
53:00
Chris Audio. Can you hear us?
53:01
Chris? Hello.
53:03
I can hear you. Yeah.
53:04
I can hear you, yeah. You're back.
53:06
Go ahead. Sorry buddy, you're back.
53:08
Back in the day, you can buy a men's suit for a $20 gold piece.
53:14
Today, that same gold piece, like you were saying about the
53:17
houses, you can still buy a decent men's suit for about
53:21
$2300 and that's what it about an ounce of gold cost.
53:25
So if you hang on to all those Fiat dollars back in the day,
53:29
you pass them down generate to generation.
53:32
That little bit of money is that you had back then $20.
53:36
It's not waste. It's $20 by today, Ron.
53:39
You know, even you couldn't even take your family out, Ron, for
53:43
$20 to Taco Bell, even at a discount rate, Ron.
53:47
I know, I know. No, it's, it's absolutely crazy.
53:51
I was talking with a couple guys this morning who have young kids
53:54
like me and they're like, you know, even going to McDonald's
53:57
anymore. I mean, once they get to be 12
53:59
years old, I can't fool them with the Mcchicken right now.
54:02
They want like a MC Crispy meal and a Mcflurry and by the time
54:06
you're done, you're spending $30.00 on McDonald's.
54:09
I mean, it's absolutely. Drives me up a wall.
54:11
You know, it's like absolutely crazy.
54:14
You know, in the comments section here, somebody talked
54:16
about buying silver rounds the other day for $32.
54:19
I think it's important also for us to realize how lucky we are
54:24
right now in the, I mean, the fact that we can go to our local
54:27
coin shop, that we can go to Pinbecs and buy silver for
54:31
number one, it's an artificially low price #2 the premiums are
54:36
low. And #3 if you are joining us in
54:39
the United States, most of us don't pay any sales tax anymore.
54:43
I mean, do you think we're lucky to be able to get silver at
54:46
these prices right now, Chris? I think, you know, I think it's
54:49
a steal right now. I think people are gonna be
54:51
caught off guard when Silver starts moving upwards around 50
54:56
plus and they're gonna wish they've got a little bit more
55:00
today. And I'm not trying to get any
55:03
financial advice. I say this on my channel, Ron,
55:06
I'll say it on your channel. Stack at your own speed.
55:11
Don't compare your stack with anybody else's stack.
55:15
It takes time. We will all get there.
55:19
Just keep stacking as you can. You know, I always give a little
55:23
bit. You know, this is really not
55:24
advice. If you're not using something in
55:26
your house that you're not used for five years and you're never
55:28
going to use it again, why not throw it online and see what you
55:32
can get out of it? I mean, that's, you know, and
55:35
take that money and get your server and go that way too.
55:37
Yeah. I mean, you know, that's, you
55:41
know, and then and it's troubling because sometimes when
55:44
you sell something like that, then the next day after you sell
55:47
it, you but you need it. I mean, so I mean, it's a double
55:51
whammy sometimes there too. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
55:54
By the way, I encourage people, anyone who has a question right
55:57
now, put it in the put it in the comment section and just put a
56:02
question mark, which is on my keyboard.
56:04
Where's the question mark on the keyboard?
56:06
Chris? How come I can't find it?
56:08
Oh, lower right corner. Do this here.
56:13
I'll put a, I'll put an example in there.
56:15
That way we'll see it question and then put the question mark
56:19
and then put the question right after it.
56:21
And we'll, we'll take a couple questions here before we sign
56:24
off. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting.
56:26
What, what are you, what are you seeing happening this week in
56:29
the silver and gold markets? Chris, any any thoughts on what?
56:33
Well, I, I've already seen it saying right around, you know,
56:36
maybe silver will gain a buck or two.
56:38
You know, I, I don't think it'll go up that much to $2.00, maybe
56:42
a dollar gold. I see maybe a $25 swing up this
56:46
week. But you know, it's, it's all
56:50
news, you know, I mean, I can say that and it could be down 25
56:53
bucks. I mean, who knows?
56:55
I, I, you know, that's a hard question to answer.
56:56
You know, there's another hard question that I had on seen on
56:59
your challenges the other day is should I trade gold for silver?
57:04
Well, it's about your financial well-being at the time.
57:10
You know, I say, if you can afford to buy silver and, and
57:14
instead of trading downwards, get silver, you know, or vice
57:19
versa. Remember when you trade, most
57:21
coin shops, especially coin shops, you come in trades, go
57:26
for server, you're going to have a we buy the go back.
57:37
We lost your audio. Most, most times we have done
57:41
even trades before when we need that specific item in stock.
57:47
So I mean, it's, it's really up to the coin shops or if you go
57:51
online to sell the online billing.
57:53
There's a process there. I'm not sure how pin backs works
57:57
that out when they buy back. I know you got to ship to them.
58:00
I don't know what the trans you people are going to have to call
58:02
pin back to find that out for themselves 'cause I don't know.
58:05
I'm not going to say that you, you know, but there's always
58:10
going to be, you know, a trade mostly where you buy it back,
58:15
you sell it, then you buy your silver.
58:17
So you're going to take a loss on both ends.
58:19
Most shops are going to take a make a win on both sides of the
58:22
trade and that's just an honest truth.
58:27
So I'm looking question going I'm.
58:29
Going to pull this up. I didn't see any come through
58:32
here, Chris, but I want to pull this chart up quickly.
58:36
Hold on here. Here we go guys.
58:38
This is the current gold to silver ratio.
58:41
Looks like it's sitting right around 80.
58:44
So you know, when people ask that question, is it smart to
58:49
convert gold into silver right now?
58:52
Again, we're going to throw in our disclaimer.
58:54
We aren't offering financial advice.
58:56
But in my opinion, when I think about either having one gold
59:01
coin or four tubes of American Silver Eagles, I would
59:06
personally, I would take the American Silver Eagles, right?
59:09
I'm not a gold stacker. I'm a gold mining stock owner
59:14
and a silver stacker. But if I had some gold coins,
59:17
me, I would feel comfortable personally converting some into
59:22
silver because I think that is still a really, I mean it's come
59:26
down from being in the 90s not too long ago, but still a very,
59:30
very high ratio on that gold to silver ratio.
59:36
Yeah, that's a good point. But keep in mind, you will take
59:38
you're going to have to pay a little bit more because you have
59:41
that trade back and forth between the two buy and sell
59:44
trades. And some shops don't even do
59:46
that if they need again, if they need the inventory for the gold,
59:51
right, right. I mean, you know, you know, it's
59:55
it's it's supply and demand. That's what, you know, when we
59:58
do that, it's supply and demand. Do we have enough in stock?
1:00:00
Can we do we do we can we flip it fast?
1:00:04
You know, it's like when you buy graded coin drawing, you know,
1:00:07
I'll say this and then you try to go sell them, OK.
1:00:10
And you have a rare, rare, rare coin.
1:00:13
The deal knows that he or she can sell it, but they might have
1:00:17
to wait six to eight months down the road to sell it.
1:00:21
So they're going to probably offer you a little bit less.
1:00:23
That is a true statement. You know, you didn't, you know,
1:00:27
that is, you know, keep that in mind if people into the graded
1:00:31
coins. I like the graded coins.
1:00:33
You know, some people don't. You know, that's fine too.
1:00:35
But you know, it as Lynette Zane says, Ron, it, you know, if
1:00:39
people worry about confiscation, which I don't think it's going
1:00:43
to happen, that's my person in your opinion.
1:00:44
But if you're really thinking that, that's another layer of
1:00:48
protection because that will be classified as a collectible.
1:00:53
So with that being said, I mean, you know, none of this is by the
1:00:56
answer or vice Ron, you know, but you know, I'm just trying to
1:00:59
give my tips and hoots about this and I'll leave it as that.
1:01:05
Think, I think if people want to know where I'm going to.
1:01:08
Hello, hello, hello. Can you hear me, Chris?
1:01:12
We may have lost Chris. I think if you guys want to
1:01:14
know, hold on here. Are you there, Chris?
1:01:18
Oh boy. We may have lost coin shop
1:01:20
Chris. I got ya.
1:01:22
I got ya, OK. OK.
1:01:23
If you want to know, if you want to know if you're a silver and
1:01:27
gold investor and you want to know where the price of the
1:01:30
metals are going and we're going to focus in on silver here, look
1:01:34
no further than our good friends in the East, Japan.
1:01:38
Remember the Japanese from the 80s?
1:01:40
We were supposed to be afraid of them.
1:01:42
Chris, you were probably too young, but it was I was 1015
1:01:45
years old and there was all this fur of oh, the Japanese are
1:01:48
taking over the world. They bought Rockefeller Center
1:01:50
and blah, blah, blah. Well, the Japanese or have been
1:01:54
guilty of some of the most egregious financial
1:01:57
mismanagement in the world. When you in a in a nutshell,
1:02:01
guys, when you look at what is going on financially, fiscally
1:02:06
and monetarily. Now fiscally means how our
1:02:10
government is managing the money.
1:02:12
Monetarily means how the Federal Reserve is kind of managing the
1:02:16
monetary supply, the monetary policy.
1:02:19
So when you compare both the fiscal and the monetary policy
1:02:25
mismanagement in the United States to Japan, Japan is a
1:02:29
little further down the road from us, but we're heading down
1:02:33
the same Rd. as our friends in Japan.
1:02:38
OK, and, and, and, and quickly. I'm going to pull up, as you
1:02:41
guys know, one of my favorite charts lately, the 30 year
1:02:46
silver price history in Japanese yen.
1:02:49
And this is what we likely have to look forward to, right?
1:02:53
If you see this chart and you see this is, this is silver, not
1:02:57
in U.S. dollars, but in Japanese yen, you see that silver has
1:03:02
absolutely skyrocketed, far exceeding the high that it that
1:03:07
it hit back in 2011 in Japan in Japanese yen.
1:03:12
So this here guys is exactly what we have to look forward to.
1:03:16
