- 0:01Good morning, basement dwellers, good morning, silver lovers.
- 0:05Hey, let's talk about what's happening right now with the
- 0:09dollar and that will have a major impact on the price of
- 0:13silver and gold as we head into the coming months, quarters and
- 0:18years. But if you notice, like you
- 0:20either had people saying the dollars toast, the dollars done,
- 0:23the bricks, gold currency, all these fantastic predictions like
- 0:29like tomorrow we're going to wake up and the dollars going to
- 0:31be gone. But then on the other side of
- 0:33the coin, you have the people that are saying, no, you're
- 0:37crazy. The dollars not going anywhere.
- 0:39The dollars, the world's reserve.
- 0:40There's like two like extreme factions when it comes to the
- 0:46dollar. But here's what I want to throw
- 0:48out and I put together some ground breaking research that
- 0:51I'm going to share with you. Yes, you and you are the most
- 0:55important part of this live stream video, right?
- 0:58The viewer, you. OK, So thank you for being here.
- 1:01Please give this a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel if you
- 1:04want a piece of content every single day.
- 1:05Because in today's video, I am going to tell you about why.
- 1:10If we can be just in the middle between those two warring
- 1:14factions, the people that say the dollar is done, the we're
- 1:17going to wake up tomorrow and your dollars are going to be
- 1:20worthless. These paper, you know, I'm not
- 1:22very fond of them, but they're going to be worthless.
- 1:24And then you have the other people that say, no, the dollar
- 1:26is not going anywhere. We can land somewhere in the
- 1:29middle. And I have some great, great
- 1:32news for you. Be OK with the dollar.
- 1:34But let's start. And by the way, in about 10
- 1:37minutes, we are going to be joined by the one and only coin
- 1:40shop. Chris.
- 1:41Yes, he's back in the basement. And we got a lot of fun stuff to
- 1:44talk about what's going on at the coin shop, some great price
- 1:47comparisons, all kinds of it's going to be a big show today,
- 1:49guys. So thank you.
- 1:51OK, I know I already said thank you, but thank you again.
- 1:54You are YouTube, you are the basement.
- 1:57Without you, this is not possible.
- 1:59It is a big honor that you're here.
- 2:01But let's start by talking about what?
- 2:03Who's the biggest, the biggest here?
- 2:07Hold on here, OK, The biggest institutional investment company
- 2:12in the world, BlackRock. OK, BlackRock, they put the word
- 2:16institution in institutional investor and when they put out a
- 2:21warning their their CEO Larry Fink put out a harsh, harsh
- 2:26warning about what's going on right now.
- 2:29That's going to set the stage for what we're going to talk
- 2:31about with this dollar collapse and how it will impact you,
- 2:36right? It's going to impact your life
- 2:38and impact the value of your silver and gold.
- 2:40So bricks, BlackRock issues economic warning to G7 alliance
- 2:49and if we go down here, it says as the bricks continue its
- 2:52growth plan, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink again guys, BlackRock is
- 2:57it's like the biggest financial firm in the world.
- 3:00They like they they again I'll repeat it.
- 3:02They put institution in the term institutional investor and their
- 3:07CEO issued a stern economic warning to the G7 countries that
- 3:12would be the United States England like the big Western
- 3:15countries. Fink took to the Financial Times
- 3:18and I read this article and this is all true to Penn apiece
- 3:22urging the grouping to re evaluate its infrastructure amid
- 3:26a looming debt crisis by 20-30. Let's just talk about a couple
- 3:31of the main points that he made. This was shocking to me.
- 3:35The BlackRock head, Larry Fink noted that the seven nations in
- 3:38the group in the G7 Group, A group account for 61 percent of
- 3:44the planet's public debt. We own 61 congratulations,
- 3:49right, almost 2/3 of the world's public debt.
- 3:51Moreover, he stated that the economic future of the of of of
- 3:56the world's democracy depends on its ability to decrease that
- 4:01figure over just the next several years.
- 4:04It's not just Larry Fink, it's it's Ray Dalio, right, who's
- 4:08founded Bridgewater Capital. He is one of the most respected
- 4:12people in the financial services industry.
- 4:14It's Jeffrey Gunlock from a double line, right, the bond
- 4:18king, everyone. It's even our old friend Gomer
- 4:20Pyle, Jerome Powell, who's who's sounding the alarm here, down
- 4:25here. He says the US and the UK and
- 4:27their allies are staring down the same growth dilemma.
- 4:30Fink said debt burdens have become so large that traditional
- 4:34fiscal policies can no longer tame them.
- 4:37Guys, we are on a, on a, on a, on a train track heading towards
- 4:42a bridge that has collapsed, right?
- 4:45How many more turns can we make it around till we hit that
- 4:48Cliff, till the train runs off the Cliff by 20-30 that the US
- 4:52government must pay out mandatory spending plus interest
- 4:56on debt will will permanently exceed what it takes in in tax
- 5:01revenue. We are in a debt spiral.
- 5:05Think Think statement clearly shows that the state of the debt
- 5:09issue is one that can no longer be ignored.
- 5:12Even if discretionary spending went to zero, the country would
- 5:17still run a deficit, he added. Additionally, he said the
- 5:21traditional spending cuts or tax increases wouldn't be enough to
- 5:25set save the debt crisis. That isn't just an American
- 5:28issue. Fink insurers.
- 5:30It's true for most G7 nations. While the alliance accounts for
- 5:33this is interesting, 45%, we only account for 45% of the
- 5:38global GDP. The figure is losing ground
- 5:41because the other countries are growing.
- 5:43Specifically, it's losing ground to the BRICS contingent.
- 5:46But perhaps the most harrowing of the statistics Fink shares is
- 5:50that the G7 accounts. This is shocking.
- 5:53The G7 nations only account for 11% of the global workforce.
- 5:59OK guys, so we've got Larry Fink, right?
- 6:02The CEO of the world's biggest institutional investment firm,
- 6:07sounding the alarm. We have Ray Dalio sounding the
- 6:11alarm. We have Jerome Powell sounding
- 6:14the alarm. He said it like the government
- 6:16has to get its act together. We have Jeffrey Gunlock, the
- 6:20Bond King, sounding the alarm. We are sounding the alarm, but
- 6:25nobody's listening. So when we think about the
- 6:27dollar, right, remember the dollar is going to collapse.
- 6:31Now you know. You know, right?
- 6:35Because if you measure the value of your dollars in gold and
- 6:39silver, when the dollar collapses, the value as measured
- 6:45of gold and silver in dollars will go up, OK, We'll go up and
- 6:50up and up. But it's not so much the value
- 6:53of the gold and silver going up, it's the value of the dollars,
- 6:57the yen, the euro, going down, down, down, down.
- 7:02OK. Now the next thing we're going
- 7:04to talk about this is ground breaking research that I put
- 7:07together for you. This will show, but we're going
- 7:10to take a look at the dollar. Everybody's saying, oh, the
- 7:12dollar's done, the dollar's toast.
- 7:14And I may even be guilty of that in in some ways, right?
- 7:18But it's, you know, there's these two extreme camps, either
- 7:22people that say, oh, the dollar isn't going anywhere, or the
- 7:26people that say the dollar is toast.
- 7:28Here's what I'm going to, I'm going to propose to you is that
- 7:32we look somewhere in the middle because I'm telling you, that's
- 7:35the reality. Look, we've talked about this
- 7:38basement dwellers, you're smart, right?
- 7:40You know, things are rarely black or white.
- 7:42It's like a divorce. When people get divorced, it's
- 7:44not always just one person's fault.
- 7:46There's a middle ground, especially when we're dealing
- 7:49with a situation like the US dollar where we likely stand.
- 7:53But what does that middle ground spell for the real value of
- 7:59silver and gold? And we're going to get into
- 8:01that. We're going to get into that.
- 8:02Right now, we're going to be joined by our friend Coin Shop
- 8:05Chris, who's going to follow along with us.
- 8:07Hold on here, Coin Shop. Chris, can you hear me?
- 8:11I can hear you, Ron. Hey, welcome back to the
- 8:13Basement Coin Shop, Chris. Everybody's really happy to see
- 8:16you today. How you doing?
- 8:18I'm doing well. It's great to be back in the
- 8:19basement, Ron. Yeah, Yeah.
- 8:21Well, we're talking today, Chris, about the US dollar.
- 8:24Do you, do you, do you agree? It seems like people are either
- 8:28in this camp where the dollar's doomed the dollar, you know,
- 8:31we're going to wake up tomorrow and the dollars are going to be
- 8:33worthless, or you have the other camp where people say, no, the
- 8:37dollar's the world's reserve currency, always has been and
- 8:41always will be. Did you, do you, do you see
- 8:44that? Is your, is your kind of
- 8:46observing what's happening? Yeah, Ron, you know, I work in
- 8:49the coin shop and you know, I, I think a lot of people who stack
- 8:53precious metals are in kind of in that camp for the most part.
- 8:56Not everybody, I would say, but you know, people a little bit
- 9:01more again. And you know, I mean the sales
- 9:04of past couple weeks have been kind of flat, but it's, you
- 9:08know, it's not as flat as I thought they were going to be
- 9:10with the higher prices, you know, going into the higher
- 9:13prices for a minute, you know, people thinking they're going to
- 9:15wait for a dip. Well, you know, I don't think
- 9:18we're going to see much of A dip, but we will get more into
- 9:20that late later on. I'm going to buy more silver
- 9:24when it hits $22.00 an ounce, Chris, That's what I'm.
- 9:27With you're, you're going to be waiting for a long time, my
- 9:30friend. I hope so.
- 9:32I hope so 'cause I already have plenty of silver like we've,
- 9:35I've talked about exhaustively, like if the price and I don't
- 9:38think it will either, but I'll, if it does, I'll be backing up
- 9:42the truck. I think a lot of our viewers out
- 9:45there will be backing up the truck as well.
- 9:48And what that'll mean is that #1 premiums will shoot up and #2
- 9:53the price will eventually shoot up as well.
- 9:55I think there's a lot of support in the silver price.
- 9:59If, if the price does dip down even into the 25, I mean, I'll
- 10:03be honest with you if it gets to the $25.00 range, which again,
- 10:07I'm hoping it doesn't, but if it does this summer, I'll be back
- 10:11in the truck up, no doubt about it.
- 10:12Well. I'm going to pull out a
- 10:13prediction for you, for your audience right now, Ron.
- 10:17I believe silver will trade this summer between 28 and 40.
- 10:22Not saying it's going to go the 40 it it's got potential go to
- 10:2740. Gold, I believe, will trade
- 10:28between 2275 and 2515. That is my prediction for the
- 10:34summer. If we can hold somewhere in
- 10:35between those numbers, we've done really well for the summer
- 10:40months. Yeah, if we survive the summer,
- 10:43I've got a chart here I'll pull up real quick.
- 10:45This is from our friend bald guy money and my my viewers have
- 10:49seen this exhaustively, but you may not have Chris.
- 10:52This shows since what is it, 1975 through 2020, the monthly
- 10:58average returns on gold down there at the bottom.
- 11:00And you can see that June, May, June, July are typically low
- 11:06return months. But boy, when you head into
- 11:08August and September, things really take off, you know?
- 11:12Well, what could happen back in 2008, you know, when the
- 11:15financial crisis, silver and gold, platinum started to rise.
- 11:19I mean, we're we're getting to the same set up.
- 11:22You know, I'll tell this little story, Ron, you know, when, when
- 11:24we were back in 2009, I guess it was, and silver started to go up
- 11:30and I said to a couple of you couldn't put me on the time,
- 11:34everybody that's all right. I went through a couple coin
- 11:37shows and you know, I got to know the deal was pretty good up
- 11:40in Maine there. And, and, and I said Sir was
- 11:46going to $50.00 an ounce. And they all look at me like I
- 11:50had three heads. Well, I said, well, take my
- 11:53phone number down and call me when it happens.
- 11:55Well, it took a couple years, but I wish I had a recording of
- 11:59this because they I had about four or five phone calls and
- 12:01Bill was saying how do I know? Well, I didn't know.
- 12:03It's you got to look at what's going on out there with the
- 12:08precious metals at all times. And I tell you, we're in the
- 12:12same set up as 2011 right now. Yeah.
- 12:16Yeah, yeah, Coin shop Chris definitely has crystal balls,
- 12:19there's no doubt about it. And, and I know there's nobody
- 12:23out there that follows silver and gold for that matter, and
- 12:27platinum as closely as you do. And, you know, we can look at
- 12:32all kinds of fancy charts. We can look at all kinds of
- 12:34different fundamental issues and datas.
- 12:36But you know, we have to kind of aggregate all of it into our own
- 12:41heads, right? Our own little supercomputers
- 12:43and, and go with our gut feeling.
- 12:46And yeah, I, I would agree with you, Chris.
- 12:48I think my, my gut feeling is we're going to struggle through
- 12:50the summer right now, a little bit of a struggle, but that I
- 12:54really feel like September time frame because of a number of
- 12:59different factors coming together that we could see, you
- 13:04know, significantly higher prices for silver and gold for
- 13:07that matter as well, no doubt. Well, absolutely.
- 13:10You know, I believe we're going to have to see interest rates
- 13:12cuts in September. I, there's, I'm going to put a
- 13:1695% chance on it right right now.
- 13:18Now that could change and I will come back and tell you what I
- 13:22think later on. But right now I think we can see
- 13:25at least a 95% chance we will see interest rates cut.
- 13:28And when that happens, the metals will take off.
- 13:32Yeah, yeah, yeah. And when silver gets above $34,
- 13:35that that's going to be the hard part is getting up to $3334 for
- 13:40silver in particular. But from 34 to 50 is going to be
- 13:46much easier than from 29 to 34. Absolutely.
- 13:50We're going to people's heads are going to be spending all
- 13:52three of your heads, Chris will be spending at once.
- 13:56When you, when you see how fast silver goes from 34 to 4434 to
- 14:0150, whatever the case may be, it's going to be a good time.
- 14:04It's going to be a, a, a definite, I think, surprise and
- 14:09shock to a lot of people, and it's going to pull a lot of new
- 14:12investors into the precious metal sector because there just
- 14:16aren't many people up in that $40 range who are who are
- 14:21looking to sell their silver. There's just going to be a lot
- 14:24more buyers. That's my prediction.
- 14:26Well, you know, and then I this is the debate too.
- 14:29I mean, there's not a lot of history above $30.
- 14:32There's not a lot of charting history above that price.
- 14:35We had a couple ups and downs from the that point, but over 30
- 14:39we don't have a lot of charting to really find out where how
- 14:44high this could go. No, no, you're absolutely,
- 14:47you're absolutely right. Because I'm seeing if I could
- 14:49pull a chart up here, what we can just say this, the reality
- 14:53is, the reality is that that silver's only been above $30.00
- 14:58for very, very short periods of time, right?
- 15:01And I would imagine, and I, I don't have a, you know what I
- 15:03mean? I mean, they were spikes.
- 15:05So if we, if we build up into that range this time a little
- 15:10more slowly, although I just said I thought it would happen
- 15:13quickly, it, it could be a different, different environment
- 15:18altogether, you know, Absolutely.
- 15:21Exactly. Absolutely.
- 15:23Another point I want to, you know, tell your view is, is know
- 15:27when people come in, in the shop and they don't have, you know,
- 15:29there's a lot of people on are hurting out there.
- 15:31I will tell you that they're trying to sell, you know, maybe
- 15:34buy a little less. And you know, I say, you know,
- 15:37you know, I'm not giving no financial advice here 'cause we
- 15:40can't run. But you know when you're out
- 15:43there buying stuff, eat at the grocery store at Lowe's, Home
- 15:46Depot, Walmart, take a snapshot of your current 90% silver
- 15:51prices. And where you find that, just
- 15:53type in Google silver calculator charts and they will tell you
- 15:59what a silver dime will melt for a silver quarter, melt for a
- 16:03half dollar and compare that to silver instead of using Fiat
- 16:06currency saying is this worth a silver quarter?
- 16:10Is this worth a silver dime? And I tell you what, you
- 16:13probably will put some of that those products back on the shelf
- 16:17and take that Fiat and go buy some more silver.
- 16:20That is it really saves money. I mean really it saves me money
- 16:24about $1520 a week sometimes, if not more 'cause this stuff that
- 16:29I like to get at the grocery store like my Ding Dongs are on
- 16:33and you know, sometimes I have to put those things back because
- 16:37they're 5-6 bucks a bucks. Now is that with a silver
- 16:40quarter really? No, no, no, no.
- 16:43So Chris, as we're talking to our viewer right now, right,
- 16:48that's me and you speaking. But there's, there's a bunch of,
- 16:51there's one person, right? The bunch of individuals that
- 16:53are joining us right now. Likely this viewer, this
- 16:56basement dweller, right, is a silver investor, a gold
- 17:01investor, maybe a precious metal mining stock investor.
- 17:04One of the biggest stories out there right now is the demise of
- 17:08the US dollar. Everybody's talking about the
- 17:10bricks and the bricks and like, and, and, and again, there's
- 17:12like 2 camps, right? There's the extreme, the dollar
- 17:15is going to be, you know, we're going to wake up Monday and the
- 17:17dollar is going to be worthless camp.
- 17:19And then the other camp, which is, no, you're crazy, the dollar
- 17:22is not going anywhere. But what I would like to say to
- 17:26our viewer is this, that there is some middle ground and I put
- 17:30together this chart. Do you mind if we go through
- 17:32this chart 'cause I think this will explain to people pretty
- 17:36clearly what is going on out there.
- 17:39And by the way, Tara, thank you for that awesome super chat,
- 17:42super appreciated, really generous, and thank you so much.
- 17:46But I call this the TSF, OK? We're talking about D
- 17:50dollarization. And I think what everybody
- 17:53misses is that it's going on on three different levels, right?
- 17:58The dollar, it is, is, is, is being affected on three
- 18:03different levels. The dollar is losing value on
- 18:06three different levels in the TSF.
- 18:10And that's beneficial. That's what I have in blue to
- 18:13silver and gold. At the end of the day, it's
- 18:15absolutely beneficial that this is OK.
- 18:20Thank you, Susie. Susie's speaking to me through
- 18:23the walkie-talkie there. It's beneficial, but the dollar
- 18:28is doomed or the dollar is king. That seems to be the two camps.
- 18:32So if we look at it on three levels, Chris and I want you to,
- 18:35I want you to help me here and tell me if this makes sense.
- 18:37And I want our viewer to help me here and tell me if this makes
- 18:39sense. Because, you know, this is a
- 18:42Ron's basement exclusive, so bear that in mind.
- 18:45But the first level is the transactional level, the trade
- 18:48level, right? Everybody just says, oh, the
- 18:50dollar de dollarization, the dollar.
- 18:52Well, the dollar is still king and likely will be for a while
- 18:57for trade purposes, OK, between countries, although more and
- 19:00more countries, including the bricks are moving away from the
- 19:03dollar and settling trade in their native currencies.
- 19:08And I, and I say that's like you, OK, or me, Chris, that we
- 19:12still use dollars from our checking account to trade,
- 19:15right? When we go to the grocery store,
- 19:17when we go to the gas station, when we go to the movie theater,
- 19:20whatever, we're not using silver.
- 19:22So on a worldwide basis, as we look at the dollar, I think it
- 19:26will continue to be used for trade, although I'll throw this
- 19:31in that that level is diminishing, right?
- 19:36But there's really still nothing out there.
- 19:39Now the Chinese and the Saudis and you know, all these BRICS
- 19:42countries are, are starting to do transactions.
- 19:44So it's important also to realize that at least what the
- 19:48evidence shows us when I'm we're just trying to be completely
- 19:51objective here is that on a trade basis, the dollar is king,
- 19:56although that, that, that that is beginning to erode and that
- 20:01will hurt the real value of the dollar.
- 20:04But then if we go to the next level, right, because it's TSF
- 20:08and that is as a store of value, as a savings or a reserve, OK.
- 20:13This is where the impact I think is, is, is even greater when it
- 20:17comes to the D dollarizations. Many countries are already
- 20:20moving away from the dollar as a reserve asset or a store of
- 20:25value, right? They're selling U.S.
- 20:27Treasuries. We know that Japan, China does
- 20:31everybody selling treasuries and what are they doing?
- 20:33They're buying more gold. Why?
- 20:35Because countries fear the dollar number one, losing its
- 20:39value in #2 weaponization with sanctions or seizure, right?
- 20:44That the US can just take those dollars away.
- 20:47And I say in parentheses from on a personal level for you and for
- 20:51me and for our viewers, that's like you not wanting to store
- 20:55your long term value in a bank savings account, right?
- 20:58You would rather save that value in silver and gold.
- 21:02And that's exactly what countries are doing.
- 21:04Like they'll use the dollar for transactions, but then when
- 21:08there's excess money, they want to convert that into gold,
- 21:12right? Which is, which is what a lot of
- 21:14our you and a lot of our viewers do.
- 21:15It's the same thing. It's like, well, you know, I got
- 21:18to use dollars to pay my electric bill, so I have to have
- 21:20a checking account, but I'm not going to store a bunch of
- 21:23dollars in a savings account for the next.
- 21:26I mean, they, you know, just like you and I, these countries
- 21:28look out over the next 10 years and they're like, I don't feel
- 21:31comfortable with where the dollar's going.
- 21:33Does that does that make sense, Chris?
- 21:35That makes sense, Ron. You know, with, you know, where
- 21:38is it, OPEC, you know, now accepting the Chinese yuan for
- 21:43their oil. And you know what's gonna happen
- 21:48with these dolls? They're coming back home.
- 21:50They're going to hit our shores back home and that's going to
- 21:53turn into hyperinflation and food prices going to go up.
- 21:59Everything we buy, your light bill, your mortgage, if you have
- 22:03a, what's that rate called? A balloon rate where you know,
- 22:07they just advance, what's their rates?
- 22:09Everything's going to go up. And what else is going to go up
- 22:12with it? Silver.
- 22:13It's not the silver is going to go up.
- 22:15It's your dollar is getting weaker and weaker and weaker.
- 22:18Yes, exactly, exactly. And that's a key fundamental
- 22:21thing for, for for our viewers, our basement dwellers to
- 22:25understand. It's not necessarily we always
- 22:28like to think, oh, silver and I and I'm guilty of it, right.
- 22:30Oh, silver's going up or oh, gold, I was just said it's
- 22:33something that oh, the price of silver's up at the neighborhood
- 22:35pool. I'm like, they were asking about
- 22:36something. Yeah, the price of silver's up.
- 22:38It's not so much that the price of silver's up, it's that the
- 22:41value of the dollar is down. And and that, and that leads
- 22:46into the third factor, right? We have the transactional side
- 22:49of the dollar, You have the savings component of the dollar.
- 22:52But underpinning it all is the fundamental, what I would call
- 22:57almost, almost guaranteed failure of the dollar at some
- 23:02point, right? And that's because we have
- 23:05massive debt levels. That's because we have the
- 23:08situation like as I let off this, this live stream video
- 23:12with Larry Fink from BlackRock pointing out that we're kind of
- 23:15doomed. We're in a debt spiral right
- 23:16now, right? We have massive debt levels,
- 23:18reckless spending by the government and that will
- 23:21continue to erode the real value of the US dollar.
- 23:25Gunlock and Ray Dalio bring it up.
- 23:27All three of these factors, right?
- 23:29The on the transactional side, that's probably still the
- 23:32strongest, but that's, that's experiencing erosion, right?
- 23:36The, the use of the dollar for, for transactions amongst the
- 23:40BRICS countries, for instance, that is really happening that,
- 23:43that these countries are beginning to move away from the
- 23:46dollar. And then you have the, the
- 23:49savings component of the store of value.
- 23:51That's definitely happening. Countries are selling their
- 23:54treasuries moving away. And then at the same time you
- 23:57have this third factor, the, the, the fundamentals.
- 24:00And we know there's like no arguing the fact that the
- 24:04fundamentals underlying the dollar aren't looking real good,
- 24:07right? And those kind of feed into the
- 24:09other two factors as well. It's just not a good situation.
- 24:11Am I being negative? I don't want to be too negative.
- 24:14No, you're not being negative. You're telling the facts, Ron.
- 24:17I mean, you see it. We all see it.
- 24:20Every time we go to the grocery store, something has else we
- 24:23buy, has gone up and up and up. I mean, you know, it's, it's
- 24:28getting sickening, is hurting people and people are having a
- 24:31hard time just putting food on the table, never mind buying
- 24:34silver, gold or platinum, you know, I mean, it's, you know, I
- 24:38have a young female that comes in on a couple three times a
- 24:42week sometimes she works at a restaurant, she works on tips.
- 24:45She gets a little bit of money. You know, she makes a bit more
- 24:47than the average minimum wage for her job too.
- 24:50Her extra job actually pays her pretty good but she comes in.
- 24:54It's OK to go walk into a coin shop or go online and buy a few
- 25:00oz even you go on pin backs and buy it from pin backs run
- 25:04sponsor. They have great prices.
- 25:06It's always to place a small order.
- 25:09Just get what you can. Don't overbuy because you don't
- 25:13want to be caught selling in three or four months.
- 25:18I mean, you know, I mean pay yourself first.
- 25:21You don't pay your bills. You got any little extra money
- 25:24leftover, Just get what you can save it up and and get what you
- 25:28can later and cost average. Don't worry about the price.
- 25:33I cannot stress this enough, Ron.
- 25:35I see this every single day. People come in, They said,
- 25:37Chris, I should have listened to you when silver was $21.00 an
- 25:40ounce. I thought I was going to 17.
- 25:42Look at it now. We're at almost 30 again now,
- 25:45Ron. I mean, I mean, I hope people
- 25:48can understand what I'm trying to say is cost average.
- 25:51Don't you know, If you think silver's going to go to 100
- 25:54bucks, 200 bucks an ounce, it's three or $4.00 an ounce.
- 25:56You're going to save now, going to pay off later.
- 26:00Heck, no cost average now. Yeah, you and I have always
- 26:04recommended to our viewers to dollar cost average, right?
- 26:08Like and I did that over the years.
- 26:10I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm not buying as much as I used to 'cause I just
- 26:14have enough, right And it's stored in an off site location.
- 26:18But none the less, if you are in buy mode or you are acquiring
- 26:23metal, do it. Do it once every six months, do
- 26:26it once every three months, do it once a week, do it whatever.
- 26:29But don't just take everything. And while, and we're not giving
- 26:32financial advice, but you're taking risk if you take
- 26:35everything at one point and just dump it into silver or dump it
- 26:38into gold. You have to recognize that
- 26:41unless you spread it out over a period of time, hey, it could
- 26:44work out great, right? If, if, if by December we're
- 26:48sitting here with $45.00 silver, people would be really happy.
- 26:52But you know, the prices go up and down.
- 26:54Silver is a very volatile metal, no doubt about it.
- 27:01Yeah, exactly. You know and what I want to say,
- 27:05you know, I don't know if you want to do the pin back deal now
- 27:07I found for everybody. What I I'll tell you what I want
- 27:09to do. I want to say thank you to our
- 27:10friend Ron McAdams. Look at him.
- 27:12His. Smile.
- 27:12Thank you, Ron. I see that on the screen.
- 27:15Thank you, Ron. We'll say thank you to Tara
- 27:17again for the. Super.
- 27:18Thank you, Tara. And we have Silver Sheepdog.
- 27:23Thank you for the. Super.
- 27:24Thank you. Let's talk about the bricks and
- 27:26a gold back currency. And we're not going to spend a
- 27:28lot of time on this, but I'm hearing more and more people,
- 27:32you know, we got a big bricks meeting now we just talked about
- 27:34right, we're somewhere in the middle.
- 27:35So I'm going to recognize these next two articles are kind of
- 27:38the extreme, like the dollar is dying type camp these bricks.
- 27:43Some of the people that are saying, oh, we're definitely
- 27:45going to get a bricks gold back currency.
- 27:47So let's just look at kind of the latest news that we have out
- 27:51there, Chris, in that regard. And then we'll then we'll get
- 27:54into some some comparison shopping.
- 27:56Where are we? Here we are.
- 27:58Here, here we go. And we are.
- 28:04Yeah. Bricks Gold bank currency to be
- 28:08launched at 2024 Summit question mark.
- 28:11OK, so let's see what they have to say.
- 28:13I got this highlighted so we can run through it.
- 28:16The Bricks aim to launch a new currency that will be backed by
- 28:19gold as a counter to the US dollar.
- 28:22A common currency will make the alliance usher into a new
- 28:26financial era and become a cornerstone for further
- 28:30developments. The upcoming summit in 2024,
- 28:34which will be in Russia by the way, will shed more light on the
- 28:37policies aimed to topple the US dollar.
- 28:41So again, this is kind of the in the, you know, the dollars being
- 28:44the dollars doomed camp. Reports suggest that the bricks
- 28:48could back their new currency with gold and not the US dollar
- 28:52or other local currencies. I want to come back.
- 28:56That's a very important point right there.
- 28:58The alliance in Orange aims to get back to the gold standard.
- 29:02Gold standard what? And maintain a multi polar world
- 29:07for all trade and transactions. What's likely at minimum going
- 29:12to happen with the And this is good for silver and gold
- 29:16investors, right, 'cause we know they're already acquiring
- 29:19massive amounts of gold and silver, right?
- 29:21We know India imported, you know, whatever probably is
- 29:24imported 15% of the world's silver production already, the
- 29:30world's annual silver production already imported that much this
- 29:33year, but gold as well. But what, what's likely going to
- 29:37happen? This is I think critical for us
- 29:40and, and for our basement dweller viewers to understand is
- 29:43as these countries start to trade amongst themselves and
- 29:47trade in their own national currencies, somebody's always
- 29:51going to wind up with a surplus, right?
- 29:53Like let's say the let's say the Saudis sell oil to China.
- 29:59That's always the easiest example.
- 30:01I'm sorry. Yeah, but Saudis sell oil to
- 30:04China. So China imports all that oil.
- 30:07China pays the Saudis with Chinese yuan, Right.
- 30:10And so the the Saudis have the Chinese yuan and they're like,
- 30:14well, what are we going to do with this?
- 30:16Right. There's only so much that we can
- 30:19do with the Chinese yuan. So they buy some products from
- 30:22the Chinese, but they still have some yuan leftover, right?
- 30:26And like what? We don't want to hold this yuan.
- 30:30We may not like dollars, but we like the yuan even less.
- 30:33So what are they going to do? They're going to take that that
- 30:35excess Chinese yuan they have. They're going to go to the
- 30:38Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is a physical market and
- 30:42immediately convert that excess yuan into gold, right?
- 30:47Or maybe even silver, who knows, and that's going to go on and
- 30:52all over between the BRICS countries.
- 30:54That's kind of the middle of the road.
- 30:56But guys, that's good for the value of the precious metals.
- 31:01That is their they call that a trade settlement currency,
- 31:04right? Like if like if, like if coin
- 31:06shop Chris and I wanted to trade.
- 31:09Let's say I had a, a nice flat screen TV that he wanted and he
- 31:15had 10 extra boxes of Ding dongs, right?
- 31:19And so I, I want his Ding Dongs. He gives me his ten boxes of
- 31:23Ding Dongs. I give him my TV, but I'm like,
- 31:25hey, the TV was worth $100 more than the Ding Dongs.
- 31:30You can either give me paper dollars or he could give me 3
- 31:34ounces of silver and I would take the 3 ounces of silver.
- 31:37Does that make sense, Chris? That makes absolutely sense.
- 31:41I mean, it happens every day. I mean, you know, if, you know,
- 31:44you go on these websites like Facebook, Ron and you know,
- 31:47people trade stuff every single day on Craigslist.
- 31:51You know, some people even trade, you know, goods for
- 31:53goods. You know, they don't have to be
- 31:56money all the time. If the two parties agree, if you
- 31:59agree to trade goods for services and you accept silver
- 32:02or gold as payment or you accept a motorcycle for payment, it
- 32:07don't matter. It's between two parties.
- 32:12I mean, that's, you know, that's the thing we have to look out
- 32:15for. I mean, because I do believe
- 32:17eventually, you know, we will be trading silver and gold for
- 32:22service and goods. It could come sooner than three
- 32:25years, it could be 10 years out. Nobody knows.
- 32:28And. Well, let let's look at one more
- 32:33fantastic and I'll emphasize extreme headline.
- 32:37And this is again on the on the kind of extreme side.
- 32:40So I'm I'm not saying that this is factual or this is going to
- 32:43happen. But this this these guys that
- 32:45tell us or say the bricks announce a completely plans to
- 32:49completely abandoned the US dollar.
- 32:52And I guess this is a picture from the recent, there's the
- 32:55Russian guy in the middle as a member of the BRICS community in
- 32:59June of 2024. Again, these big BRICS meetings
- 33:03are coming up, I think in September in Russia where some
- 33:06people I've heard, I've heard a, a couple, what I would call a
- 33:11reputable analyst talk about the prospect of a gold backed trade
- 33:18settlement currency being announced.
- 33:21I'm not saying I think I don't think it's going to happen.
- 33:23I think it could happen. I'm not making that prediction,
- 33:26but some people are talking about a gold backed trade
- 33:28settlement currency announcement coming out of this meeting.
- 33:31Hey, with everything going on in the world, who knows right?
- 33:34Says the new Development Bank of the economic alliance.
- 33:37BRICS announced on Wednesday its plans to completely abandoned to
- 33:43abandon completely the US dollar in the next three years.
- 33:48OK, this says Malaysia plans to join BRICS.
- 33:50You can't even keep up with it's unbelievable the number of
- 33:53countries that are interested in joining the bricks.
- 33:56To that end, the bricks will contemplate an integration plan
- 33:59with local currencies to be driven by the project of
- 34:03independent payment system that could be presented this year.
- 34:06According to some sources, which they're not naming, Saudi Arabia
- 34:11could also abandoned the dollar in oil in the oil trade and
- 34:15liquidation transactions and and liquidate transactions and yuan,
- 34:20a measure that would bring huge losses to the currency as China
- 34:24buys more than 20% of the country's oil exports exports.
- 34:29So sure feels like the world is changing at A at a clip like
- 34:34we've never seen before. I don't buy the fact that these
- 34:38people that say well, the dollar's the king, the dollar's
- 34:41never going to go away the dollar, but I don't buy it.
- 34:44When I look at the transactional right, like we talked about the
- 34:48T right in the TSF, the transactional evidence that we
- 34:52have right now, the countries are are starting to move away
- 34:56from the dollar and we look at the savings, the store of value
- 34:59component. When we look at that on a large
- 35:02worldwide national basis, countries are definitely selling
- 35:05their treasuries. They don't want to hold the
- 35:07dollar as much as a store of value.
- 35:10I'm not saying 100%, OK or anything like that, but the
- 35:13trends in both those areas, am I right?
- 35:17I mean, am I crazy, Chris, or is the trend in both those areas?
- 35:20No, the trend moving more up and up and up.
- 35:23And that is the problem that we're seeing.
- 35:26Other countries are getting away from the dollar.
- 35:28They're stacking gold, they're stacking silver.
- 35:31Especially India's crazy about silver right right now.
- 35:36And you know, there is, you know, people, you know, when I
- 35:39say this, people are going to make a comment and say I'm
- 35:40crazy, but that's OK. There is a silver shortage.
- 35:43And what I mean by that, you can go online, there's plenty of
- 35:47serve out there for the for the consumer right now to buy
- 35:52offline or your coin shops, whatever, Yes, but the supply is
- 35:57getting thin out there. We're still getting it in, but
- 36:00their products are starting to trickle in, are slower than
- 36:03normal, you know, like your generic rounds.
- 36:07I mean, they just can't keep up. I mean, the demand is getting a
- 36:10little bit more crazy at times. I mean, it depends what the
- 36:13market is doing. If the silver goes up $1.50,
- 36:17people are rushing to buy, it goes down $1.50, nobody comes
- 36:21in. It seems like.
- 36:23I mean, you know, it's crazy, but that's how it seems to work.
- 36:26People like to buy it when it's moving on up.
- 36:29The confused silver investor, right, that buys when it goes up
- 36:33and sells when it goes down. But as it really starts to go
- 36:37up, that could lead to some massive waves of buying.
- 36:41I mean, consider this right. Consider the fact that this
- 36:44world that we live in now with instant communication and Chris
- 36:49and the ability to buy silver and gold and platinum instantly,
- 36:55right? Like instantly.
- 36:56Like like in the next 5 minutes, if you and I wanted to, we could
- 37:00buy a monster box online of, of silver, right?
- 37:04I mean, they can happen so quickly in this day and age.
- 37:07I don't think that people realize the implications of
- 37:11that, number one, the communication, right?
- 37:14But #2 the fact that the available supplies can get wiped
- 37:18out in the matter of hours. And we've seen examples of that
- 37:22over the last, what, four or five years during the little
- 37:25banking crisis, during the C19 crisis, you couldn't find
- 37:29silver. You had to wait 5-6 weeks if you
- 37:31were lucky to get it. Shipped, if not longer, yes,
- 37:34yeah, and some price was a little bit longer.
- 37:36You know, luckily the shop I work for, you know, a lot of
- 37:40shops don't have the financial status to hold a couple
- 37:45$1,000,000 and then inventory. They just don't have the
- 37:48finances. Luckily my own has been doing
- 37:50this for a long time. He's been doing this since 1982
- 37:54and he started in a little Allstate or I think it was
- 37:58Allstate that he said. They gave him a little table and
- 38:01he started selling peace dollars.
- 38:03That's how he got into open his own shop and gradually, you
- 38:08know, he never advertised, never paid a penny for advertisement
- 38:12on newspapers, TV, whatever. And he grew amazing business.
- 38:16Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:17By honestly and and getting the word out there is the word that
- 38:21melt spreads the word. Yeah, you know.
- 38:25Yeah, that's why that's how you and I, you and I met.
- 38:29You told me a great story back what a year and a half ago when
- 38:33we met about a person who brought a coin in just looking
- 38:37to they just thought it was a normal old one ounce gold coin
- 38:41and you guys were like that. If I remember correctly, you
- 38:45kind of told this, this person who had no clue.
- 38:47Like that's actually not worth a lot more than just the gold
- 38:52content in that coin, right? Exactly.
- 38:54Yes. Yeah, Yeah, right.
- 38:57And and are you? I remember you as we just first
- 38:59met you telling me that story and how how happy you were about
- 39:04the fact that you got to surprise this person and tell
- 39:08him no. I think I think gold was like
- 39:1118-19 hundred at the time. That coin's worth like double
- 39:15the amount and I think you guys shipped it off to have it graded
- 39:18and. We shipped it off to have it
- 39:19graded and came back as a excellent grade at Ms. 68.
- 39:24Yeah. I mean, you know, it was amazing
- 39:27that you know, I mean, you know what people have and they don't
- 39:31know. And you know, you know, I do
- 39:33have a channel on as you know, and you know, I try to educate
- 39:37people on different coins and, you know, I go a little bit
- 39:41further down the roads in the weeds with, you know, the what's
- 39:44going out there with the prices and stuff on food, food.
- 39:47And so I mean, that's what I like to do on on my side of
- 39:51things. But no, I mean, it's people.
- 39:53If you're going to leave your silver or gold after you pass
- 39:58on, make sure you either have a note or you tell them in advance
- 40:05of what you have. Don't let your family members or
- 40:10friends go into a coin shop and say I don't know what this stuff
- 40:14is worth. There is there is a handful of
- 40:18coin shops are not going to be honest and take advantage and
- 40:24you just don't want that. You want someone honest, honest,
- 40:29honest. And that's the key to this
- 40:30because it's, you know, the more honest we can be with people
- 40:34that the word gets out. And that's how we get more
- 40:37business. Yeah.
- 40:38Yeah, yeah. Let's, let's run out the
- 40:40Pembecks real quick and then we're going to talk about some
- 40:43comparison shopping that Chris did.
- 40:45But I want to say thank you to our channel sponsor.
- 40:47This is not possible guys, without the support of our
- 40:50sponsors, including Pimbex Pi MB EX, pimbex.com.
- 40:56That's where I buy my silver and I'm not going to ever tell you
- 41:02what to do, but I would recommend that if you are going
- 41:05to shop around to buy some silver, gold or platinum online,
- 41:09definitely put Pimbex in the mix and look at what they can do for
- 41:14you. I always find they have a great
- 41:16selection, which is important, right?
- 41:18Thank God they have the, the, the products that I want, but on
- 41:22top of that, they always seem to have the best prices.
- 41:26And it's a company that I can trust.
- 41:28So I like the fact that I can just go there, know that I'm
- 41:31getting a great price and know that I'm going to get a package.
- 41:34I got an e-mail. I don't know if I shared it.
- 41:36I think I shared it with the guys at Pembeks.
- 41:38I got an e-mail yesterday from one of the basement dwellers
- 41:41saying he just bought some silver from Pembax and and it
- 41:46took his six year old son an hour and a half to get the
- 41:48package open because it was packaged so well.
- 41:51So. They packaged very, very, very
- 41:53well, yes. You get your own little personal
- 41:57Fort Knox that comes in the mail.
- 41:58So, so what's, what are you seeing out there, Chris?
- 42:01Like if we're looking at premiums on silver, you know, I
- 42:05like to tell people that like we're really spoiled right now
- 42:08because premiums are still historically, I think relatively
- 42:12low. We've got the silver, we got the
- 42:15silver price that's gone up. But I think most of us agree
- 42:20that it's still artificially being held down by our friends
- 42:24at the COMEX in the LBMA over in London, England.
- 42:27Have you been looking around at anything?
- 42:29Have you looking at Eagles or what are you?
- 42:31What are you seeing when you look around out there?
- 42:33Well, when you see our friends at the COMEX in the LBMAI, don't
- 42:37call them my friends with. I call them clowns, Ron.
- 42:40That's what they are, clowns. And what?
- 42:44Hold on one second. Susie's talking to me in the
- 42:47walkie-talkie breaker breaker. Susie, we didn't catch what you
- 42:51just said. I'm.
- 42:53Ready to hear some of those awesome bullion bullion deal?
- 42:59OK. Thank you.
- 43:01Sorry, Chris, you Susie's ready to hear about the good deals out
- 43:04there. Go.
- 43:04Ahead OK, so I checked some websites around for a Tuba
- 43:07Silver Eagles 2024 and this is all ACH, meaning taking it right
- 43:13out of your bank account. No credit cards, no nothing.
- 43:16I hope it's OK, Chris, I put this together.
- 43:18Do you? I don't know if you can see it
- 43:19on the screen. That's fine.
- 43:21That's yes, yes, I can see it. So money Metals or the two Basil
- 43:26vehicles were $750.60 pin backs as of Friday night.
- 43:32These were all taken Friday night as they were $700.00 and
- 43:38701 dollars. Excuse me on that one.
- 43:41Went over at Max 746 sixty for the same tube of Silver Eagles
- 43:462020 Fours Hero Bowling had them for seven O 280.
- 43:51JM Bowling had them for 7/16/60. So we took the highest price at
- 43:57Money Metals at 760 minus the pin backs cost at 7 O1, the same
- 44:03as a $49.60 Ron. Wow, I think you said 760, but
- 44:08you meant to say 750 and $0.60. But you're right, your math is
- 44:12correct. That's almost a $50 savings.
- 44:16And that's what I always tell people.
- 44:18I'm like, you know, I always shop around.
- 44:20I always want to make sure that I'm getting the best prices.
- 44:24But hey, you know what? If I'm going to buy a tube of
- 44:26American Silver Eagles and it's the exact same tube of American
- 44:30Silver Eagles and I can get it for $50 less at, at one company
- 44:37over another, which in this case just happens to be Pinbex, I'm
- 44:41going to buy it from Pinbex. And then I can buy, you know, I
- 44:45can buy another oz, oz and a half coin and when I open my
- 44:49box, get the tube and the extra oz and the extra half oz for
- 44:53free, right? Yeah, you can actually buy one
- 44:58extra eagle from Pinbex with the same order over money medals and
- 45:05get an extra oz silver or I know you like Taco Bell, Ron, and
- 45:09Taco Bell right now has an excellent deal right now, a
- 45:12$7.00 box. You can take the whole family
- 45:14out Ron, and if for $28.00 you still have the savings over
- 45:19Money metals, you can go to run to Walmart Ron and get yourself
- 45:244 jugs of ice cream, the 48 oz. That they have cut down, cut
- 45:28down, cut down that's going to cost you 1692.
- 45:33You can get yourself a box of keeble ice cream cones 24 count
- 45:37for two 996 and you can get a job smuckers hot fudge and have
- 45:41the girls friends come over after you guys go talk about and
- 45:44I'll give them give all their friends ice cream or less than
- 45:47you can. Thank you, Pinbex.
- 45:49Yes. Thank you Pinbex.
- 45:53So for those of you who don't know, Coin Shop, Chris has
- 45:55started his own channel and we're going to head out and take
- 45:58a look at that right now as well.
- 46:00Hold on here. It's a small candle going right
- 46:03right now. I'm growing.
- 46:05They they all start out small, Chris.
- 46:08Every single one of them start out small.
- 46:10So what I want to ask you guys to do is to go out onto YouTube
- 46:14and you can just type this in right here.
- 46:16Coin chop, Chris. There's his logo coins, as you
- 46:19might imagine, and the big coin up here.
- 46:22Subscribe to his channel, watch some of his videos.
- 46:25He's putting out content, I think every day.
- 46:27Is that right, Chris? I try to put out a video every
- 46:30single day and two shorts every day and I also will come on with
- 46:34a short right around the 4:00 hour on the East Coast time and
- 46:39I also give an update on silver, gold and platinum every single
- 46:43day. All right, awesome.
- 46:45Look at these 1964 Kennedy 90% silver halves.
- 46:49I mean you and you, I know you dig in because we both know
- 46:53you're an expert in the coin field.
- 46:56You dig into more of the coin related and stacking related,
- 47:01but also some interesting, you know, like like general economic
- 47:05news stories as well. So I want everybody to please go
- 47:09out and check out Chris's new channel, if you will.
- 47:12Thank you for all the support, Ron.
- 47:14Thank you to the ones who have already come over from your
- 47:16channel. You have been a big help
- 47:18motivator. Ron, you know, you've been on my
- 47:21behind for a while to do my own YouTube channel.
- 47:27You know, I'm, I'm not a good public speaker.
- 47:29Some of you might know and but I, I try my best.
- 47:32I do my best. But I got to give you some
- 47:34recognition here too, Ron. You know, when I was, you know,
- 47:38doing videos with you in the past, you called me up one day.
- 47:41I'm sure people, you just remember this when the coin
- 47:43shops where the banks were getting, you know, the accounts
- 47:47getting shut down because they have a coin shop and all these
- 47:50other Youtubers blew this up over, you know, over nothing.
- 47:54And I told Ron I remember this phone call very directly.
- 47:57I told Ron I said we can discuss about this.
- 48:00I don't have a problem, but I think it's going to be a nothing
- 48:03burger. Couple weeks go by, it turns out
- 48:05to be a nothing burger. Thank you Ron for not blowing
- 48:09that story up. Well, I think you got to be
- 48:12careful and, and even like today's subject matters very
- 48:16sensitive, right? We're talking about the US
- 48:18dollar. We're talking about the demise
- 48:20of the dollar. And it's easy.
- 48:21And hey, look, I'm not perfect and I'm not busting anybody's
- 48:24chops. Everybody's free to present
- 48:27things the way they like. But I think they come out and
- 48:29say, Oh my gosh, guys, the dollar's doomed.
- 48:32Get out of completely get out of the and which I personally kind
- 48:35of believe, like I don't want to have a lot of my money exposed
- 48:39to the US dollar, but you got to be careful how you present
- 48:41things because usually somewhere in the middle lies the truth.
- 48:46Now, when it comes to the situation with the US dollar, I
- 48:50feel confident, right? And it's always just my opinion,
- 48:53right? I always tell people don't make
- 48:54financial decisions based on what I'm saying.
- 48:56But but I do feel confident that the real value of the dollar is
- 49:01going down. OK, got to ring the cowbell.
- 49:03Hold on here. Hey, that's for 200 thumbs up.
- 49:08That's for all the basement dwellers that are joining us
- 49:11today. Chris, we've had almost 5. 100.
- 49:13People on our live stream, yeah, almost 500 people on our live
- 49:17stream. But I do feel confident saying,
- 49:20yeah, the dollar is, is, is, is. I mean, just I won't go back in.
- 49:25But you know, the fundamentals behind the dollar aren't good,
- 49:29right? And it's not just you and me
- 49:31talking about it. It's even this guy, right?
- 49:33Let's get him out. What do you say, Chris?
- 49:35Oh, please don't bring him out. Really visit right it's even
- 49:39this guy is talking about the fact that, hey, we've got get
- 49:43his angle there he is him here, here coin shop Chris and Gomer
- 49:46Pyle live. I mean, we've got problems.
- 49:50It's also Ray Dalio, right Bridgewater, one of the most
- 49:54successful hedge fund managers in the world.
- 49:57It's Jeffrey Gunlock, the bond king.
- 50:00And now it's the CEO of BlackRock, the the biggest
- 50:04institutional investment firm. I mean, they're all sounding the
- 50:08alarm, right? I mean, our, our, our
- 50:10politicians in Washington aren't caring.
- 50:12They're not sounding the alarm. But I I do feel confident in
- 50:15saying that the real value of the dollar.
- 50:18I mean and that's what it's really about right, the real
- 50:20value of the dollar. Hey, 10 years from now, right?
- 50:24I mean, what is it? A euro?
- 50:26The euro to dollar exchange rate is what, like a Bonnie, look it
- 50:29up, $1.12, whatever, right? Or 1112.
- 50:33It could be the same thing 10 years from now, the value
- 50:37relative between the dollar and the euro.
- 50:39What we care about is what's $100 bill?
- 50:43How many gallons of gasoline does $100 bill buy you today?
- 50:46Oh, about 30 here in Saint Louis.
- 50:49How many gallons of gasoline is $100 bill going to buy you 10
- 50:53years from now? Maybe two, right?
- 50:55Who knows, right? Maybe three, right?
- 50:58That's what we're worried about. That's what we're what we're
- 51:01focused on when we're talking about silver and gold.
- 51:05What about the example I heard I talked about it last night, Matt
- 51:08Pipenberg from gold, the guy from Switzerland.
- 51:11I love that guy. Smartest guy in the room, right?
- 51:14100 years ago you could buy a house.
- 51:18OK, you could buy a house with five thousand U.S. dollars, so
- 51:22you got a box with $5001 bills in it. 100 years ago you could
- 51:27buy a house. Or you could buy a house with
- 51:30251 oz gold coins cause gold coins were worth about $20 each
- 51:35back then. So you.
- 51:36Had to. Yeah, so you could either use
- 51:39$5001 bills or you could use 251 oz gold coins, right, to buy
- 51:46that house 100 years ago. Fast forward to today, if you
- 51:50take that box, that same box with those same $5001 bills in
- 51:55it, you can't even, you can't even get the driveway built
- 51:59right. You can't even get the basement
- 52:01poured right. But if you take that box, same
- 52:04box with those same 251 oz gold coins, it's worth a little bit
- 52:10shy of 600 thousand U.S. dollars.
- 52:14You can get yourself, most places in this country, a nice
- 52:18house. You can furnish it, you can get
- 52:21it landscaped, and you can throw a big party for all the basement
- 52:23dwellers at the same time. That's what we're talking about,
- 52:27right? You hit it right.
- 52:28You hit that right on the nose, Ron, because I.
- 52:31Stole that from Matt Pipenberg, but I love that guy and it's
- 52:34just the way he described that it was like I got to, I got to
- 52:37repeat this at least 25 times to all the basement dwellers 'cause
- 52:41that's why we why we love silver and gold.
- 52:44Well, keep repeating it wrong because people need to hear
- 52:47things five times for them to get.
- 52:50You know most people do, but you know you.
- 52:52That is an excellent point 'cause I used to.
- 52:58Uh oh. I think we lost coin shop.
- 53:00Chris Audio. Can you hear us?
- 53:01Chris? Hello.
- 53:03I can hear you. Yeah.
- 53:04I can hear you, yeah. You're back.
- 53:06Go ahead. Sorry buddy, you're back.
- 53:08Back in the day, you can buy a men's suit for a $20 gold piece.
- 53:14Today, that same gold piece, like you were saying about the
- 53:17houses, you can still buy a decent men's suit for about
- 53:21$2300 and that's what it about an ounce of gold cost.
- 53:25So if you hang on to all those Fiat dollars back in the day,
- 53:29you pass them down generate to generation.
- 53:32That little bit of money is that you had back then $20.
- 53:36It's not waste. It's $20 by today, Ron.
- 53:39You know, even you couldn't even take your family out, Ron, for
- 53:43$20 to Taco Bell, even at a discount rate, Ron.
- 53:47I know, I know. No, it's, it's absolutely crazy.
- 53:51I was talking with a couple guys this morning who have young kids
- 53:54like me and they're like, you know, even going to McDonald's
- 53:57anymore. I mean, once they get to be 12
- 53:59years old, I can't fool them with the Mcchicken right now.
- 54:02They want like a MC Crispy meal and a Mcflurry and by the time
- 54:06you're done, you're spending $30.00 on McDonald's.
- 54:09I mean, it's absolutely. Drives me up a wall.
- 54:11You know, it's like absolutely crazy.
- 54:14You know, in the comments section here, somebody talked
- 54:16about buying silver rounds the other day for $32.
- 54:19I think it's important also for us to realize how lucky we are
- 54:24right now in the, I mean, the fact that we can go to our local
- 54:27coin shop, that we can go to Pinbecs and buy silver for
- 54:31number one, it's an artificially low price #2 the premiums are
- 54:36low. And #3 if you are joining us in
- 54:39the United States, most of us don't pay any sales tax anymore.
- 54:43I mean, do you think we're lucky to be able to get silver at
- 54:46these prices right now, Chris? I think, you know, I think it's
- 54:49a steal right now. I think people are gonna be
- 54:51caught off guard when Silver starts moving upwards around 50
- 54:56plus and they're gonna wish they've got a little bit more
- 55:00today. And I'm not trying to get any
- 55:03financial advice. I say this on my channel, Ron,
- 55:06I'll say it on your channel. Stack at your own speed.
- 55:11Don't compare your stack with anybody else's stack.
- 55:15It takes time. We will all get there.
- 55:19Just keep stacking as you can. You know, I always give a little
- 55:23bit. You know, this is really not
- 55:24advice. If you're not using something in
- 55:26your house that you're not used for five years and you're never
- 55:28going to use it again, why not throw it online and see what you
- 55:32can get out of it? I mean, that's, you know, and
- 55:35take that money and get your server and go that way too.
- 55:37Yeah. I mean, you know, that's, you
- 55:41know, and then and it's troubling because sometimes when
- 55:44you sell something like that, then the next day after you sell
- 55:47it, you but you need it. I mean, so I mean, it's a double
- 55:51whammy sometimes there too. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:54By the way, I encourage people, anyone who has a question right
- 55:57now, put it in the put it in the comment section and just put a
- 56:02question mark, which is on my keyboard.
- 56:04Where's the question mark on the keyboard?
- 56:06Chris? How come I can't find it?
- 56:08Oh, lower right corner. Do this here.
- 56:13I'll put a, I'll put an example in there.
- 56:15That way we'll see it question and then put the question mark
- 56:19and then put the question right after it.
- 56:21And we'll, we'll take a couple questions here before we sign
- 56:24off. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting.
- 56:26What, what are you, what are you seeing happening this week in
- 56:29the silver and gold markets? Chris, any any thoughts on what?
- 56:33Well, I, I've already seen it saying right around, you know,
- 56:36maybe silver will gain a buck or two.
- 56:38You know, I, I don't think it'll go up that much to $2.00, maybe
- 56:42a dollar gold. I see maybe a $25 swing up this
- 56:46week. But you know, it's, it's all
- 56:50news, you know, I mean, I can say that and it could be down 25
- 56:53bucks. I mean, who knows?
- 56:55I, I, you know, that's a hard question to answer.
- 56:56You know, there's another hard question that I had on seen on
- 56:59your challenges the other day is should I trade gold for silver?
- 57:04Well, it's about your financial well-being at the time.
- 57:10You know, I say, if you can afford to buy silver and, and
- 57:14instead of trading downwards, get silver, you know, or vice
- 57:19versa. Remember when you trade, most
- 57:21coin shops, especially coin shops, you come in trades, go
- 57:26for server, you're going to have a we buy the go back.
- 57:37We lost your audio. Most, most times we have done
- 57:41even trades before when we need that specific item in stock.
- 57:47So I mean, it's, it's really up to the coin shops or if you go
- 57:51online to sell the online billing.
- 57:53There's a process there. I'm not sure how pin backs works
- 57:57that out when they buy back. I know you got to ship to them.
- 58:00I don't know what the trans you people are going to have to call
- 58:02pin back to find that out for themselves 'cause I don't know.
- 58:05I'm not going to say that you, you know, but there's always
- 58:10going to be, you know, a trade mostly where you buy it back,
- 58:15you sell it, then you buy your silver.
- 58:17So you're going to take a loss on both ends.
- 58:19Most shops are going to take a make a win on both sides of the
- 58:22trade and that's just an honest truth.
- 58:27So I'm looking question going I'm.
- 58:29Going to pull this up. I didn't see any come through
- 58:32here, Chris, but I want to pull this chart up quickly.
- 58:36Hold on here. Here we go guys.
- 58:38This is the current gold to silver ratio.
- 58:41Looks like it's sitting right around 80.
- 58:44So you know, when people ask that question, is it smart to
- 58:49convert gold into silver right now?
- 58:52Again, we're going to throw in our disclaimer.
- 58:54We aren't offering financial advice.
- 58:56But in my opinion, when I think about either having one gold
- 59:01coin or four tubes of American Silver Eagles, I would
- 59:06personally, I would take the American Silver Eagles, right?
- 59:09I'm not a gold stacker. I'm a gold mining stock owner
- 59:14and a silver stacker. But if I had some gold coins,
- 59:17me, I would feel comfortable personally converting some into
- 59:22silver because I think that is still a really, I mean it's come
- 59:26down from being in the 90s not too long ago, but still a very,
- 59:30very high ratio on that gold to silver ratio.
- 59:36Yeah, that's a good point. But keep in mind, you will take
- 59:38you're going to have to pay a little bit more because you have
- 59:41that trade back and forth between the two buy and sell
- 59:44trades. And some shops don't even do
- 59:46that if they need again, if they need the inventory for the gold,
- 59:51right, right. I mean, you know, you know, it's
- 59:55it's it's supply and demand. That's what, you know, when we
- 59:58do that, it's supply and demand. Do we have enough in stock?
- 1:00:00Can we do we do we can we flip it fast?
- 1:00:04You know, it's like when you buy graded coin drawing, you know,
- 1:00:07I'll say this and then you try to go sell them, OK.
- 1:00:10And you have a rare, rare, rare coin.
- 1:00:13The deal knows that he or she can sell it, but they might have
- 1:00:17to wait six to eight months down the road to sell it.
- 1:00:21So they're going to probably offer you a little bit less.
- 1:00:23That is a true statement. You know, you didn't, you know,
- 1:00:27that is, you know, keep that in mind if people into the graded
- 1:00:31coins. I like the graded coins.
- 1:00:33You know, some people don't. You know, that's fine too.
- 1:00:35But you know, it as Lynette Zane says, Ron, it, you know, if
- 1:00:39people worry about confiscation, which I don't think it's going
- 1:00:43to happen, that's my person in your opinion.
- 1:00:44But if you're really thinking that, that's another layer of
- 1:00:48protection because that will be classified as a collectible.
- 1:00:53So with that being said, I mean, you know, none of this is by the
- 1:00:56answer or vice Ron, you know, but you know, I'm just trying to
- 1:00:59give my tips and hoots about this and I'll leave it as that.
- 1:01:05Think, I think if people want to know where I'm going to.
- 1:01:08Hello, hello, hello. Can you hear me, Chris?
- 1:01:12We may have lost Chris. I think if you guys want to
- 1:01:14know, hold on here. Are you there, Chris?
- 1:01:18Oh boy. We may have lost coin shop
- 1:01:20Chris. I got ya.
- 1:01:22I got ya, OK. OK.
- 1:01:23If you want to know, if you want to know if you're a silver and
- 1:01:27gold investor and you want to know where the price of the
- 1:01:30metals are going and we're going to focus in on silver here, look
- 1:01:34no further than our good friends in the East, Japan.
- 1:01:38Remember the Japanese from the 80s?
- 1:01:40We were supposed to be afraid of them.
- 1:01:42Chris, you were probably too young, but it was I was 1015
- 1:01:45years old and there was all this fur of oh, the Japanese are
- 1:01:48taking over the world. They bought Rockefeller Center
- 1:01:50and blah, blah, blah. Well, the Japanese or have been
- 1:01:54guilty of some of the most egregious financial
- 1:01:57mismanagement in the world. When you in a in a nutshell,
- 1:02:01guys, when you look at what is going on financially, fiscally
- 1:02:06and monetarily. Now fiscally means how our
- 1:02:10government is managing the money.
- 1:02:12Monetarily means how the Federal Reserve is kind of managing the
- 1:02:16monetary supply, the monetary policy.
- 1:02:19So when you compare both the fiscal and the monetary policy
- 1:02:25mismanagement in the United States to Japan, Japan is a
- 1:02:29little further down the road from us, but we're heading down
- 1:02:33the same Rd. as our friends in Japan.
- 1:02:38OK, and, and, and, and quickly. I'm going to pull up, as you
- 1:02:41guys know, one of my favorite charts lately, the 30 year
- 1:02:46silver price history in Japanese yen.
- 1:02:49And this is what we likely have to look forward to, right?
- 1:02:53If you see this chart and you see this is, this is silver, not
- 1:02:57in U.S. dollars, but in Japanese yen, you see that silver has
- 1:03:02absolutely skyrocketed, far exceeding the high that it that
- 1:03:07it hit back in 2011 in Japan in Japanese yen.
- 1:03:12So this here guys is exactly what we have to look forward to.
