- 0:32Speaker 2: You can text us text jj R to nine six
- 0:35Speaker 2: eight ninety three. We are going to get into travel
- 0:38Speaker 2: hacks because Kyle is stressing out.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I feel like it's summer break and I want to
- 0:43Speaker 3: do fun adventures with kids, and I have all these
- 0:45Speaker 3: great ideas because you know, I'm on Instagram and my
- 0:47Speaker 3: algorithm just serves me up different vacation ideas and I'm like, yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 3: that looks amazing, let's do that. And then I actually
- 0:53Speaker 3: look into it and it's like thousands and thousands of
- 0:56Speaker 3: dollars and I'm like, well, can't do that, So I'm like,
- 1:00Speaker 3: why is everything so expensive? Then Southwest just had this
- 1:03Speaker 3: sale and I got an email that they're doing a
- 1:06Speaker 3: sale on tickets to Hawaii, and I'm.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Like, amazing.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I got to say, email, I'll hop on that. I'll
- 1:10Speaker 1: see what the tickets are.
- 1:12Speaker 3: They don't have flights from Phoenix.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It's not part of the sale, or when they do
- 1:15Speaker 2: have I get this from Southwest a lot. When you
- 1:17Speaker 2: do when they do do it, it's like you've got
- 1:19Speaker 2: to do it at a time where no one ever
- 1:20Speaker 2: wants to go.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's fine in the summertime, right, maybe if
- 1:24Speaker 3: you can swing it, but it doesn't work.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It's I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 1:30Speaker 3: So I saw something on Instagram that if you change
- 1:33Speaker 3: and this like I need an IT person to help
- 1:36Speaker 3: me with it. But if you change the country of
- 1:38Speaker 3: origin that you're quote unquote searching from, that you can
- 1:42Speaker 3: get super cheap airline tickets.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I've heard that, like, if.
- 1:44Speaker 3: You're not quote unquote searching for these tickets in the
- 1:48Speaker 3: quote unquote United States, apparently the airlines don't give you
- 1:53Speaker 3: as much searche pricing or something like that.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I've heard that, but I don't know how to
- 1:56Speaker 1: I don't know how to go in.
- 1:57Speaker 2: And change that.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I'm not searching from the United States and if you're
- 2:00Speaker 3: IPN right or whatever something like that.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so if you use that VPN, VPN, you know
- 2:06Speaker 1: what that is.
- 2:07Speaker 4: I've heard of that, but I don't understand how it
- 2:10Speaker 4: changes that because like there's a lot of times, like
- 2:12Speaker 4: if you're in a different country and you're trying to
- 2:14Speaker 4: watch Netflix. Netflix doesn't have certain shows in certain countries,
- 2:17Speaker 4: so people change their VPN so they can watch their show.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But how does one change their Well, you get the app.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So I got this app, an app. So I had
- 2:26Speaker 1: to go to a doctor. I never told this on there.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I had to go to this doctor in another city
- 2:33Speaker 2: and they wanted me to be there in the city,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and it was it was it was telement, but I
- 2:38Speaker 2: had to be in the city. And so my doctor said,
- 2:41Speaker 2: get a VPN. So they explained, I got the VPN.
- 2:44Speaker 2: It costs seventy nine dollars for a year of this VPN,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and so I did. And then I had to answer
- 2:49Speaker 2: a bunch of questions and they had to say, are
- 2:51Speaker 2: you in Los Angeles? And I was not in Lassa,
- 2:53Speaker 2: but I said, I said yes, I am, and the
- 2:56Speaker 2: first fee it's because of insurance that you need to
- 3:00Speaker 2: be in the same city. It's some weird thing, right,
- 3:01Speaker 2: but anyway, I VPN, right, and you pick the city
- 3:05Speaker 2: that you can be in on the VPN and where
- 3:07Speaker 2: it has turned out to be a plus and we
- 3:09Speaker 2: haven't really got into this a lot. Is that the
- 3:12Speaker 2: governor of Arizona has made pornography illegal unless you have
- 3:17Speaker 2: a Vpnay.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a will, there's a way.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So I'm assuming that if you turn on the VPN
- 3:27Speaker 2: then and then you get on a travel Southwest dot com,
- 3:31Speaker 2: so then France or something is that you So if
- 3:34Speaker 2: you say you're in France and you're trying to buy
- 3:36Speaker 2: tickets on Southwest dot Com, when you do book the tickets,
- 3:38Speaker 2: it's gonna be like, why are you in Phoenix?
- 3:40Speaker 3: No, supposedly doesn't matter your origin. It just matters what
- 3:44Speaker 3: they see you logging in from. Apparently. I've also heard
- 3:50Speaker 3: that if you go to like a public library and
- 3:52Speaker 3: use one of those computers, supposedly the price are cheaper anyways,
- 3:56Speaker 3: and that's so frustrating.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Just let me order the tickets for my phone for
- 3:58Speaker 2: the cheap pret you can't look at point of the
- 4:00Speaker 2: public library style.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I'm not doing that anyway.
- 4:03Speaker 2: The other thing you could do on your computer is
- 4:04Speaker 2: you could just switch browsers too, if you've been looking
- 4:06Speaker 2: on like Safari.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Just tried that too.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I've tried duck Doto, I've tried chromeirl.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Eric's got a travel hacking, I think, Eric, what's up?
- 4:15Speaker 1: You got a travel hack? Yeah, so when you try
- 4:18Speaker 1: to go to the bathroom at the airport, it's always
- 4:21Speaker 1: like it's not an optimal experience. Yeah, yeah, I can
- 4:25Speaker 1: go with that. Go ahead, go at the hotel.
- 4:28Speaker 2: You go at the hotel. There might be free coffee
- 4:31Speaker 2: or something like that.
- 4:32Speaker 4: But it's it's always a better experience. You always got
- 4:34Speaker 4: to go in the hotel before you get to the airport.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That might be the stupidest travel hack. I've never heard.
- 4:40Speaker 1: What happened to the airport the gate you gotta go
- 4:43Speaker 1: like you gotta go.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Well, well you gotten rid of it, but you got
- 4:47Speaker 4: no tak care you, Eric.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I will tell you this the kind of travel hack.
- 4:54Speaker 1: When I was traveled.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Last time I was in Los Angeles, I was I
- 4:57Speaker 2: we had my wife and I had to go to
- 4:58Speaker 2: the bathroom, and both bathrooms were like construction. It was
- 5:02Speaker 2: a line and I hate and the plane's boarding, so
- 5:05Speaker 2: I got I was the last one on the plane.
- 5:07Speaker 2: My wife and I go, excuse me, I go, there's
- 5:09Speaker 2: a construction were you know, there's a huge line.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I go, is there?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Can I go to the bathroom on the plane before
- 5:14Speaker 2: we take off? And they said yeah. I thought that
- 5:16Speaker 2: was really cool because I thought you couldn't do that.
- 5:18Speaker 2: So they did let us go to the bathroom before
- 5:20Speaker 2: we got on the plane. Like we got in and
- 5:22Speaker 2: went to the bathroom and then we sat down. So Eric, anyway,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Eric. Do we say call in for dumb
- 5:27Speaker 2: travel hats nice? We do appreciate you calling Eric, appreciate
- 5:33Speaker 2: before you get in your flight. If it's an overnight,
- 5:35Speaker 2: you know, stay the night in town, a couple of days.
- 5:37Speaker 1: And then you know, I'm sorry, Eric, I'm sorry.
- 5:41Speaker 4: You want.
- 5:44Speaker 2: There's a travel act instead of you want to say
- 5:46Speaker 2: somebody drive. You ever heard Peyton's courtesy laugh.
- 5:54Speaker 4: It's not a crazy laugh.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's a true laugh.
- 5:56Speaker 4: It's just a different version of a laugh. It's like
- 5:58Speaker 4: you know when you text lol, you're like you're inside laughing.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Rebranded her laugh.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I have I have Payton's laugh on my mis Yeah,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm trying to remember this. Peyton's real Eric, tell me
- 6:09Speaker 2: what you think of Peyton's real laugh.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Let's see. I think it's your real life.
- 6:14Speaker 4: That is not my Eric.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I hear if you laugh once a day, it's really
- 6:20Speaker 1: good for you.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Eric.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Let's hear your fake laugh? Eric, what do you got?
- 6:27Speaker 2: All right, Eric, have a great day, man, Thanks for listening,
