⚡SILVER & GOLD⚡ Hear MAJOR WARNING from BIS!... (Got Gold and Silver) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:03
We have a massive week coming up right now for silver and gold.
0:07
It's going to be a big week for you, basement dweller.
0:10
But we also have a big warning from the Bank for International
0:15
Settlements. Now, who are they, you may ask?
0:17
Well, they are the central Bank of the central banks.
0:21
They are essentially who the United States Federal Reserve
0:24
and our old friend Gomer Powell report to, and they're issuing a
0:29
stark warning. We're also going to look at this
0:32
project in Bridge. I'll share with you a few things
0:35
that I learned about that and what that could mean for the
0:38
value of your silver and gold. Big developments going on
0:41
everywhere. But wait, there's even more.
0:44
We're getting a big warning from the US bond market, and that
0:48
relates directly to precious metals as well.
0:52
But before we get to that, I want to say thank you for
0:54
joining me bright and early. Here we are and guys, we have so
0:59
much to talk about. It's such a big honor to me and
1:02
Susie that you join us here in the basement.
1:05
Thank you for your ongoing support.
1:07
Please give this a thumbs up. You can subscribe to the
1:10
channel. It's always free and super
1:13
chats, any form of support are always greatly appreciated.
1:16
I just wanted to say thank you. Hey, I've been catching a lot of
1:19
heat. I said something yesterday, got
1:21
got myself into a little bit of trouble.
1:23
Apparently I made this statement that with 1.4 billion people in
1:30
China, 1.4 billion, Need I remind you we have just over a
1:34
little over 300 million in the United States.
1:36
But with 1.4 billion people in China, if just 7 out of 10 of
1:42
them or 70%, that would be almost 1 billion people,
1:47
technically 980 million, nine, 980 million people.
1:50
But if they were all to buy one ounce of silver, it would wipe
1:53
out the entire year mine supply. Well, I got in some big, big
1:57
trouble. Thank you, Daniel.
1:59
Wow, lift my spirits here on a Monday morning.
2:01
Thank you. I got I got some I got some
2:04
heated response to that idea. People saying you're spreading
2:08
misinformation. The people in China can hardly
2:11
afford to eat and there's no way that they're going to that that
2:15
that you can get seven out. And I wasn't saying that I
2:18
thought it was going to happen this week, this month.
2:20
I was just using that as an example.
2:22
But I want to come back on that a little bit.
2:25
Fight back, guys. Because seriously, I don't
2:28
Number one, I don't think everybody in China is starving
2:31
anymore. We know the Chinese people are
2:33
buying gold hand over fist, right?
2:36
We see pictures of 800,000 Chinese people lining up to buy
2:39
gold after the after the lunar holiday.
2:43
I don't think it's that big of a stretch to think that 7 out of
2:46
10 of them could afford to buy one stinking ounce of silver and
2:50
wipe out the entire mining supply for the year.
2:52
But I also want to throw in there, if you add China and
2:57
India's populations together, you come to $2.8 billion.
3:02
I want to refer to my notes to make sure I have this accurate.
3:05
2.8 billion people, I apologize. 2.8 billion people, All the
3:10
Chinese, all the Indians, you know the story.
3:13
They love silver and gold. If we had just 35%, OK, 35% of
3:20
the people that live in China and India by 1 ounce of silver,
3:26
that would be a billion people. Again, just three, three and a
3:30
half, 35% of the Chinese and the Indian population with the what
3:35
the point is, is that the silver and gold markets are so
3:38
sensitive, so delicate, right? Especially silver.
3:43
There's just not a lot of silver out there.
3:45
And if you're talking about four out of 10, I'll be conservative
3:49
Chinese and Indian people buying one ounce of silver.
3:52
And then people say, well, people in India are poor.
3:55
People in India are poor, People in the United States are poor.
3:58
People everywhere are poor, right?
4:01
But people in India, you can't tell me that 7 out of 10 Indian
4:05
people couldn't afford to buy one ounce of silver because coin
4:09
Shop Chris. Thanks again, Daniel, for that
4:11
super chat, super appreciated. Coin Shop Chris and I, I'm going
4:14
to pull something up quickly for you looked at this yesterday,
4:20
OK, if you're going to tell me all right that that and this is
4:25
from this is from India, this is from the the Times of India
4:30
newspaper, OK, listen, the big study irrespective of of income,
4:35
gold accounts for an average 18% of assets hold held by Indian
4:41
households. They surveyed 43,000 Indian
4:44
households. They came on average the average
4:47
Indian household. Here I'll read this to you.
4:49
The lure of gold is never diminished for Indians
4:52
irrespective of their income level.
4:54
In average Indian household has 18% of their total investment in
4:58
gold, indicated a study carried out by the India Gold Policy
5:03
Center. So if they can afford that much
5:05
gold, and let's take a step back, we also know that Indian
5:11
households, just their households, not their central
5:14
banks, have 25,000 metric tons of gold, right?
5:18
Like three times of what the United States supposedly has at
5:22
Fort Knox. Thank you, all 200 of you
5:25
basement dwellers, bright and early here on a Monday morning.
5:28
How can Indian households have 25,000 metric tons, three times
5:33
that of what we have supposedly hidden at Fort Knox?
5:37
But you're gonna tell me that Indian households, Indian people
5:42
couldn't afford to buy one ounce of silver per person on average
5:48
and they have 18% of their of their wealth?
5:50
I almost knocked my coffee over stored in gold.
5:55
So I'm sorry to the guy or the several people that said I was
5:59
crazy to say these things and I'm spreading misinformation.
6:02
I don't agree, right? I think that in particular, if
6:06
you combine India and China, 2.8 billion people and say, do you
6:11
think 3 out of 10, four out of 10 people in those countries
6:14
could afford to buy one ounce of silver?
6:15
Yes, OK. And it's just an example.
6:19
But again, I want to hammer home, it shows just how delicate
6:24
the market is. And on top of that, think about
6:27
how, how the solar and you know, the whole story, the solar
6:29
electronics, the electric car industry is sucking in all this
6:33
silver. Heck, we could probably have one
6:35
out of 10 Indian people, one out of 10 Chinese people buy one
6:40
ounce of silver and it would wipe out like all available
6:43
above ground supplies. I mean, because there's the,
6:46
the, because what industry? We don't even know what the
6:48
military's using silver wise. We don't even know what they're
6:52
using for aerospace satellites and all that good stuff.
6:56
Hey, let's let's all have a quick sip of coffee, OK?
7:05
This is the biggest week in the history of the world for silver
7:09
and gold. Seriously, it's a big week.
7:12
Tuesday and Wednesday. Don't forget this guy Jerome
7:15
Powell. I'm going to leave him in his
7:16
box this morning. He gets Monday off.
7:19
Jerome Powell's going to be testifying in Washington.
7:22
DCI don't know to the House of referee.
7:24
He does it once every six months so we can get some big headlines
7:27
that do move the silver and gold price.
7:30
Again, noise, short term noise. But I want you to be aware that
7:34
that's going on. And of course, Thursday will be
7:37
the inflation number. We've talked about that
7:40
exhaustively. I am predicting I'm going out on
7:43
a limb, a tree limb, like the tree limbs I trimmed yesterday,
7:47
man, after the live stream yesterday morning.
7:49
I'm 54 years old. I don't know how old you are,
7:52
but I went out and did about four hours of tree trimming and
7:54
it just knocked me for a loop. And it was, it was hot, but not
7:58
that hot. I tell you what, people that
8:00
work with trees, tree trimming, that's got to be the hardest
8:03
work. OK.
8:04
And I was a steel worker during the summers when I was in
8:06
college, made steel three piece can baby food, baby formula
8:11
cans. I've done some hard work in some
8:13
hot conditions, but tree work is the worst.
8:15
But I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you that on
8:18
Wednesday, here's what you can expect.
8:21
This is how it all works, right? The current administration needs
8:25
a low inflation number so they can brag to the world that, oh,
8:29
inflation's down. We're doing a great job.
8:31
Look, what do they call it? Disastronomics.
8:34
No, not disastronomics. Voodoo.
8:36
No, I think it's called Bidenomics.
8:39
It's working. Anyway, They need a low
8:42
inflation number. Guess who else needs a low
8:44
inflation number? Yeah, our old friend.
8:47
Let's get him out. What the heck?
8:48
Here he is. He's so available.
8:51
Everybody say hi. You'll be hearing a lot from me
8:53
this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
8:55
But this guy also needs a low inflation number on Wednesday
9:00
because the US economy is in in full break mode.
9:06
I mean, have you noticed I'm over the weekend?
9:08
It was like Saturday night. I mean, it was Friday night.
9:11
I don't know, Saturday, Friday or Saturday night.
9:13
I went to my little shop. I have a shopping center about a
9:15
mile from my house with my daughters to buy some Bluebell
9:19
ice cream because they love Bluebell or Bell.
9:21
I don't know this new ice cream that came out.
9:24
There's a Dierbergs grocery store.
9:26
There's a big massive strip mall with like probably 100 different
9:30
stores, Chinese restaurants, Mexican restaurants, bread
9:35
company, we call it the bread company.
9:36
Panera, I think is what you call it.
9:38
It was the place was empty. It was like 8:00 granite, but
9:42
I'm like it's empty. I'm getting reports from
9:45
everybody. I, I heard a guy talking about
9:47
he was bringing his daughter or his like 2 year old daughter to
9:50
her swim lessons and he was like a year ago I couldn't find a
9:55
place to park here right now. It's like a ghost town.
10:00
I mean, guys, things are slow and I'm like think about things
10:02
like eating out. Like I just talked about what I
10:05
saw. Think about things like swim
10:07
lessons for your two or three-year old.
10:10
Irrespective the kid, people will do almost anything for
10:13
their kids. I know you, you're one of those
10:16
people, right? You'd do anything for your kids,
10:18
your family. But swim lessons for a two or
10:21
three-year old, if money gets tight, that might be one of
10:23
those things that you say, you know what, we can put that off
10:26
for a year or two. So things are slowing down. the
10:29
Fed does need to see, they need a low inflation number, even
10:33
though it'll all be concocted, all, it's all a bunch of BS,
10:37
right? But I'm just telling you what to
10:39
expect. I'm I'm out on a limb if I'm
10:42
wrong on Thursday, I'll come here and say I'm wrong.
10:44
But they need that low inflation number so that the Fed,
10:47
everybody's clamoring for rate cuts.
10:50
That's all you're going to hear about this week.
10:51
Rate cuts, rate cuts, rate cuts. September, you know, are two,
10:56
one or two rate cuts, two or three rate cuts, blah, blah,
10:59
blah. OK.
11:00
It will move the market. That's what you can expect, a
11:03
lower inflation print. You heard it here first, OK.
11:07
And then all this uproar in the in the mainstream financial
11:11
media about how they're going to have to cut rates and it should
11:15
be a supportive environment for silver and gold.
11:18
Don't make any financial decisions based on that.
11:21
Don't make any decisions based on that.
11:22
But that's what I see happening. I think we could have smiles on
11:26
our face potentially by the end of the week as we go into next
11:29
weekend when we look at the silver and go, it's all
11:33
manipulated guys. And I'll give you my best read.
11:36
Look, you, you give me your opinion, leave a leave a a
11:40
comment in the comment section. I want to run out and say thank
11:43
you. Thank you.
11:45
Let's do an update. OK, well, let's say this first
11:48
Pinbex makes this live stream video possible.
11:52
So do our other sponsors first mining gold and Fortuna mining.
11:56
But Pinbex is a company that I've used to buy my silver from
12:02
for over a year, multiple purchases.
12:05
I worked with them before they were a sponsor of the basement.
12:09
I was so thrilled when we came to an agreement for them to
12:11
sponsor because I believe in the company.
12:13
I know that when I go there, it's a one stop shop where I'm
12:16
going to get ultra competitive pricing.
12:19
OK. And that's important to me
12:21
because I want to get the most metal for my money.
12:23
I want to make sure that there's an ample selection and there
12:26
always is. They always have what I need and
12:29
it's a company that I can trust. I know the guys that started it
12:33
that own it. I happen to think very highly of
12:36
them. But hey, you need to figure it
12:38
out for yourself. I will never tell you what you
12:40
should do or what you need to do, but I'm just making a
12:44
recommendation. Next time you're in the market,
12:46
go market for gold or silver or platinum or thinking about
12:49
converting an IRA into precious metals.
12:52
I really do think you'll do yourself a favor by checking out
12:55
Pembecks. Let's do an update.
12:57
OK, Take your blood pressure medicine.
12:59
I'm going to click it here and come on.
13:03
Is that it? OK, hey, we're down $13 in gold.
13:08
I'll take it. It was, it was worse earlier.
13:10
Silver, $31.07. So guys, we're hanging strong.
13:14
Let's talk about these big warnings coming at us.
13:17
Some big warnings. You know the Bank for
13:20
International Settlements, You need to you need to know who
13:23
this is. I'll tell you what, This guy has
13:26
a boss. Yeah, well, besides the fact
13:31
that he works for a bunch of wealthy bankers, he also has an
13:35
organization above him called the Bank for International
13:38
Settlements. And they put out a big, big
13:40
warning. OK.
13:42
And now we've got the situation going on in France that we're
13:45
going to talk about. That could exacerbate the
13:47
situation. And we also have another big
13:50
warning we're going to get to from the US bond market.
13:53
We got warnings going off everywhere.
13:55
Hopefully I put red sirens in the in the description for this
14:00
video here. This is from the Guardian, which
14:05
I think is a a a newspaper based in the United Kingdom where the
14:09
LBMI is the London million Market Association.
14:13
Anyhow, this says soaring government debt could roil
14:18
global financial guys. OK, it's just a headline, right?
14:22
Soaring government debt could royal global financial markets,
14:27
warns the Bank for International Settlements head.
14:31
There's three big things in here, OK, soaring government
14:35
debt, OK, the Roy roiling of global financial markets, which
14:43
would mean like financial crisis.
14:44
By the way, remember we talked about that a white swan, not a
14:48
Black Swan because we see it coming.
14:50
So to us it's a white swan. But the head of the BIS, the
14:54
head of the Bank for International Settlements,
14:56
that's the the the central bank for the central banks.
15:01
And this guy is Augustine Karsten said world economy on
15:05
course for a smooth landing after inflation, but political
15:09
turmoil risks. OK, let's just read this two
15:13
paragraphs 'cause this is a big warning.
15:15
Rising government debt levels could disturb global financial
15:19
markets, the head of the body that advises central banks said
15:23
on Sunday before France's high stake parliament elections.
15:28
Wait till you hear about what happened in France guys.
15:31
The the dial has been turned up OK?
15:35
Augustine Karstens, the general manager of the Bank for
15:38
International Settlements, said the world economy was on course
15:41
for a smooth landing from from the inflation crisis, But he
15:45
warned that policy makers, especially politicians, needed
15:50
to be careful. He basically, and I dug into
15:54
this deeply and a couple of other articles said that that
15:59
that these things pop up out of nowhere and that we're kind of
16:02
on the verge, right? We're in a very precarious
16:05
situation. So they didn't get into that.
16:07
And this they, they conveniently left that out in this article.
16:11
But he did say like, we are in a very precarious situation and
16:15
these things happen, right? Like in an instant.
16:18
Again, it's not a Black Swan to you, right?
16:21
It's a white swan because you likely know, right?
16:24
You listen to, to, to, to people like me.
16:26
You listen to all kinds of different people that are
16:28
analyzing what's going on. Please just don't listen to me.
16:31
Trust me, that's not a good idea.
16:33
Listen to a lot of different people form your own opinions.
16:37
But what he's saying is that this can happen quickly.
16:40
He said they meaning the government's must cut short the
16:43
rise in public debt and accept that interest rates may not
16:46
return to pre pandemic ultra low levels.
16:50
We need a solid foundation to build upon.
16:53
Then he said this. He didn't say this quote.
16:55
They can surprise you without much notice talking about
16:59
turbulence in Britain. They had a big, they had a
17:01
little miniature financial crisis in Britain with the, with
17:05
the collapse of their, their bond market with that happened.
17:08
And they came in and of course printed money and saved the day,
17:12
you know? OK, now, now let's talk about
17:15
France, right? Look, we're not an international
17:17
politics channel. We're not a politics channel at
17:20
all. But there's big warnings going
17:22
on. France could be a catalyst.
17:25
You know, we could be blaming France for a financial crisis
17:29
six or seven weeks from now. You heard it here first.
17:32
I'm not predicting that, but I'm saying we could because there is
17:36
all kinds of political turmoil in France and what happened
17:39
yesterday when it comes to a financial markets perspective
17:43
was the worst case scenario, said the left wing.
17:46
New Popular Front Alliance, now pulling second, says its first
17:50
moves would would include a 10% civil servant pay hike,
17:54
providing free school lunches, supplies and transport while
17:57
rising, raising household subsidies by 10%.
18:01
This turmoil has sent the cost of French government of
18:05
servicing its debt on the international markets rocketing
18:09
with the risk premium or spread demanded by holders of French
18:13
debt over Germany's, Germany's rising over Germany's rising to
18:18
its highest level since 2012. So the, the, the, the, the debt
18:23
of France is collapsing in value because people are scared and
18:27
and what they warned about happening here guys did happen
18:32
yesterday. Again, I'm not making a
18:33
political statement, but let's go take a look quickly.
18:38
It's something very interesting. So this ultra left coalition, I
18:42
guess won. And here was what Daniel Lacal
18:47
had to say here on X. He said France was going to
18:50
choose between debt, more debt and way more debt, way more
18:57
debt. It is fascinating.
18:59
So the party that won, right, the the political force that
19:03
will be taking over in France is, is, is going to be blowing
19:08
out their debt levels. And that was what the BIS guy
19:11
was warning about before these elections occurred, deficit and
19:17
debt projections via Bloomberg. So we need to keep an eye on
19:21
that. Now at the same time, what about
19:23
project in Bridge, right? I'm going to touch on that for a
19:26
second because all of this ties into this project in Bridge,
19:29
which is a affiliated with the Bank for International
19:33
Settlements. Some people are speculating,
19:36
right? This is a CBDCBDC related
19:39
payment system between some of the BRICS countries.
19:42
We're going to dig into it here in a second, but some people are
19:45
speculating that soon potentially it could potentially
19:50
be back to a certain degree with gold, right, the return to a
19:54
gold standard type operation. So, and let's remember, let's
20:01
remember one thing right? When we're talking about the
20:03
Bank for International Settlements, that's the central
20:07
Bank of the central banks. You can think that Jerome Powell
20:11
reports to them, OK. But the other little secret
20:14
thing? Right.
20:15
That we all kind of forgot about.
20:17
It was a big deal 3-4 years ago and it still is a huge deal and
20:22
it could play into this new monetary system, potentially
20:25
even this Enbridge system. Is that the Bank for
20:28
International Settlements, when they put out their Basel 3
20:31
regulations, they totally moved up how gold is valued on the
20:38
balance sheets of central banks. They made it into a tier one
20:42
asset and a lot of people in the silver and gold community made a
20:45
huge deal about that when it was going on.
20:49
And it still is a huge deal. So we've got the Bank for
20:53
International Settlements warning of a debt crisis,
20:56
essentially saying that it could happen quickly, warning against
21:01
situations unfolding like we're seeing in France.
21:04
And again, I'm all for the people.
21:05
I'm not, I'm not speaking against France, but warning
21:08
against what's happening in France.
21:10
We have France is going into a potential debt crisis of sorts,
21:16
right? And at the same time, we have
21:18
this project in bridge going on. Let's go quickly just to do a, a
21:22
quick brief bit of of, of education here.
21:26
The in bridge system multiple CCBDC bridges a multiple a multi
21:32
CBDC platform developed to support real time peer-to-peer
21:36
cross-border payments and foreign exchange transactions
21:39
using CBD CS based on a blockchain called in bridge
21:43
Ledger. The platform is is designed to
21:46
ensure compliance with jurisdiction, specific policy
21:49
and legal requirements, regulations and government
21:52
needs. This is where it gets
21:53
interesting though. We're just going to read this
21:55
paragraph because this gives us some insight into what's going
21:59
on. There we go in blue.
22:02
Oh, did I press the button? I did Hold on.
22:06
Here we go, guys in blue. Currently, 5 entities are
22:09
jointly developing in bridge. They include the Hong Kong
22:13
Monetary Authority, the Bank of Thailand, the Central Bank of
22:18
the United Arab Emirates, the Digital Currency Research
22:21
Institute of the People's Bank of China, and the Bank for
22:27
International Settlements Innovation Hub Hong Kong Center.
22:31
Saudi Arabia's central bank joined in June of 2024.
22:35
That would have been last month. Guys, this is huge, OK?
22:40
This is huge. Hong Kong, Thailand, Hong Kong
22:43
Central Bank, Thailand Central Bank, UAE Central Bank, the, the
22:47
Chinese central bank, right? And the, the, the Bank for
22:51
International Settlements themselves the great granddaddy
22:55
of central banking and now Saudi Arabia.
22:58
So we need to keep a close eye on what is going on in the world
23:03
'cause they're kind of setting the stage, right?
23:05
They're kind of setting the stage.
23:08
They aren't going to Telegraph to us what's going on.
23:11
We do have to play 3D chess. We do have to dive into the deep
23:15
end. And it sure feels like something
23:17
is brewing. You know, I, I watched a great
23:21
video. This guy that was at was talking
23:23
about the, the, the, the like potential for a financial
23:27
crisis, the fact that the economy in the United States is
23:31
crashing right now. And he brought up a great point.
23:34
He's like, they're never going to tell us that it's going on.
23:37
And this was the guy who was at his, his kids swimming lesson
23:40
parking lot saying there's nobody here.
23:42
Nobody's doing swimming lessons. People aren't paying that.
23:44
The, the people told like they don't have money, right?
23:47
He brought up a great point. He said, they aren't going to
23:50
tell us that that's going on. We aren't going to get that
23:52
message from from Janet Yellen or anything like that.
23:57
Think about what happened with President Biden, right?
24:00
They didn't tell anybody that that was going on.
24:04
You probably knew. I knew because I dive in the
24:07
deep end. We dive into the deep end.
24:09
We, we look at alternative news sources.
24:11
We had seen reports over the years that the mental capacity
24:17
of Joe Biden was being questioned.
24:19
OK, not a political show here, not at all.
24:22
But I'm just talking facts. I saw many, many clips, many
24:26
articles that questioned what was going on with President Joe
24:29
Biden. 99% of Americans apparently didn't know that that
24:33
was going on, right? They were surprised last
24:36
Thursday at the debate situation.
24:39
The same thing can be going on right now with the economy.
24:42
They're not gonna tell they no. They weren't telling us.
24:45
It wasn't me. It wasn't on CNN, the Children's
24:47
News network. It wasn't on MSNBS or any of
24:50
those stations that we have. Big issue.
24:52
No, just like right now, they're not going to tell you, whoa, the
24:56
economy's in bad shape. They're they're going to wait
24:59
until they just absolutely, absolutely have to.
25:03
So just bear that in mind as we navigate through what's going
25:06
on. OK?
25:10
OK. What about the United States?
25:11
Let me just throw this in there. We talked about the Bank for
25:14
International Settlements warning with what's going on in
25:17
France, warning about the potential for like something to
25:20
happen quickly financial crisis wise.
25:23
We know that the situation in France now is escalating.
25:26
What's going on? But what about the United
25:28
States, right? You know, what, what if, what if
25:33
we have a contested election? What if we have political
25:36
turmoil here? There's so many things sitting
25:39
right there that could be the catalyst, right?
25:42
That could easily be a catalyst for some very, very difficult
25:45
times in the world economy. That could be a catalyst for
25:49
some form some level of a financial crisis.
25:53
I don't want to be the sky is falling, right?
25:56
We could be wrong. I mean, let's be real, the first
25:59
six months of this year were pretty non eventful.
26:02
But again, these things happen. All of a sudden it's like Andy
26:06
Scheckman says, it's like playing Jenga, right?
26:08
You take a piece out, you take a piece out, you have recency
26:11
bias. You think, oh, everything's
26:13
great, everything's wonderful. I'm hearing a lot more people
26:16
talk about this idea of recency bias.
26:18
Well, nothing happened. Excuse me, nothing happened
26:21
yesterday. So nothing will happen today
26:23
until it all does happen. And what is the bond market
26:28
warning us and what does that have?
26:29
This is crazy, guys. This is I Lynette Zhang was the
26:33
first person that I saw bring this up.
26:37
But other top analysts are talking about what's going on
26:40
with gold and the bond market. And it really is, well, good
26:46
news for precious metals investors.
26:49
Let's all have a drink of coffee and be right back.
26:55
All right, we're back. I need to put up our banner so
26:58
we can see and support our sponsors here in the basement.
27:03
Hey, thank you again for that super chat.
27:05
That was super awesome, Daniel. I really appreciate it.
27:09
All right guys, now have you heard this is kind of, this is
27:14
about what we would consider breaking news for a silver and
27:17
gold investors. What's the safest investment you
27:20
can make? I want you to think about that,
27:23
right? What have you always been told?
27:25
What is the mainstream financial services industry?
27:28
What does the mainstream media tell you?
27:30
The safest, right? You want to be safe with your
27:33
money? Oh, U.S.
27:34
Treasury bonds, those are the safest investment, right?
27:38
That's good as good as gold. Well, maybe not, maybe not
27:44
right, but but the world has been brainwashed into believing
27:48
that that IO us from the US government, right?
27:51
That and we know the whole story on the debt and the deficits.
27:54
We won't go there, but these IO us, these promises are the
27:58
safest investment in the history of the world.
28:00
Well, guys, that has changed. We had a a major big change
28:04
occur. Let's read this.
28:07
I thought this was a good synopsis.
28:09
For the first time in 50 years, gold returns surpass that of
28:16
U.S. debt here for the for the most of the of the past half
28:20
century, excuse me, U.S. Treasury bonds have easily
28:24
outperformed gold as a type of investment bought and held.
28:28
OK, so bonds were remember, oh, we had this 50 year rally in the
28:32
bond markets. Yeah, no joke because it was all
28:34
based on money printing make believe funny money.
28:40
You know QE and and and and a bunch of BS not right. 50 years
28:44
roughly since Nixon took us off the gold standard.
28:47
Today, the status of U.S. Treasury bonds as the ultimate
28:52
safe haven is facing one of the greatest challenges ever before.
28:57
OK, that article says our, our paragraph says people
29:00
traditionally go traditionally buy bonds because they're the
29:05
safest thing ever. That's what their that's what
29:07
their parents told them and that's what their their stock
29:09
broker tells them. And anyway, the stock broker
29:12
doesn't tell them to buy gold or silver because the stock broker
29:16
doesn't make our financial planner doesn't make a hefty
29:19
Commission off that, but they do make a Commission off bonds
29:22
nonetheless. I digress.
29:24
Recently, this relationship between gold and bonds has been
29:29
changing. The recent trends are favorable
29:31
to gold. The benchmark Bloomberg U.S.
29:34
Treasury Total Return Index is on its way to its third annual
29:40
decline, extending the decline since peaking in 2020 to 11%.
29:47
In contrast, gold hit a new high this week and this and has
29:51
recorded a 15% return so far this year.
29:55
I read 16% in a different article earlier.
29:58
OK, here, the first choice for safe haven assets has become
30:02
gold rather than U.S. Treasury bonds.
30:05
This is Hooper who said that. Hooper.
30:08
Thank you. Hooper.
30:09
I wonder if you're an analyst. Anyway, the bigger subject is
30:13
concern about America's huge debt and unsustainable US fiscal
30:19
conditions. OK, guys, gold is beating bonds
30:23
on A50 year basis. This is huge on a couple levels
30:28
because bonds are going to continue to go down in value.
30:31
OK #2 The other big thing I want you to think about this is this
30:37
fact becomes as more people recognize this, that will be
30:40
more and more people saying, Oh my gosh, did you hear that gold
30:45
be treasury bonds? That will be more and more
30:48
people, more and more attention on gold and silver, which we
30:52
both know, right, has been, has been lacking over the last 50
30:56
years. Absolutely.
30:57
Gold is fighting back. Gold is in a war, a war against
31:01
good and evil. This divergent in performance
31:05
means that gold has surpassed U.S.
31:07
Government debt is a long term investment, $1.00 invested in
31:11
gold 51 years ago is now worth 2314.
31:16
Wait a minute, I don't think that makes sense.
31:19
Anyway, don't quote me on that one.
31:22
Which is $172 more than the return from the Bloomberg U.S.
31:27
Treasury Index which came out in 1973.
31:31
OK, they do point out this comparison does not take into
31:35
account the storage cost of holding gold.
31:37
But if you hold it at your house or you hold it wherever, you
31:40
don't have to worry about that. Guys, this is the war between
31:44
good and evil. Thank you again, Daniel, for
31:47
that super chat. Thank you guys for giving us a
31:50
thumbs up. Do you want to do something nice
31:51
quickly? Doesn't it feel good to do nice
31:54
things? Basement dwellers?
31:55
Yes. I know one thing about you, OK?
31:58
I know why I think about this every time I go to my mailbox.
32:00
I think about you because often times I see my mailman, OK, my
32:04
new mailman's name is Kevin. He's like a friend and I always
32:07
think about my basement was I'm like, they're the type of people
32:10
that are like me. They're friends with their
32:12
mailman. They know who their trash man
32:14
is, right? They're just good down to earth
32:16
people. So thank you for being here.
32:18
I don't know why I said that, but I really feel that right?
32:21
Like you're good now I know why you're good, nice people.
32:23
Please give this a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you
32:26
haven't already. And if you feel generous ever.
32:29
Yeah, super chats are super appreciated.
32:32
OK? Anything you send me, I'm always
32:34
very appreciative. But we are in a war between good
32:37
and evil. Really.
32:39
Really. Wait till you hear this.
32:41
Wait, wait. This one knocked my socks off.
32:44
OK. But I want to finish one last
32:47
thing on that last point. We were told that bonds were the
32:50
safest investment in the world. They're good as gold, right?
32:56
Well, that statement's coming back to bite them in the arse,
32:59
right, because they're not good as gold anymore.
33:02
Gold is, right? And again, guys, this is could
33:05
draw major attention to the precious metals.
33:09
It's all happening. Think about what the BIS guys
33:12
are saying, you know, think about what the BI Bank for
33:15
International Settlements did with the with the status of
33:17
gold, with the Basil 3 regulations, which made gold a
33:21
tier one asset, right? The world is changing and I
33:27
can't, and I'm not saying I'm not going to say gold and silver
33:29
are going to completely take over the world, but their status
33:33
by any measure is increasing, right?
33:37
Is increasing more and more people.
33:39
We know that this Bank of America study that came out
33:42
recently talked about how young people are increasingly moving
33:46
their money to alternative asset classes.
33:48
They don't believe in the stock market.
33:50
They don't believe in in the American dream anymore.
33:53
Unfortunately, a lot of them, right.
33:56
So what are they doing? Some of them are also moving
33:59
their money to silver and gold. It's it's we, we are in a very,
34:03
very interesting period of time right now.
34:06
But let's talk about the war on silver and gold.
34:09
I want to pull this up. I thought this was just classic,
34:14
classic. This came from a guy named David
34:17
W Smith. OK, and let me pull it up so I
34:22
can read it completely. OK, This said in a letter to
34:25
John Epps, and I believe John Epps was a physician, but he was
34:29
a very politically active person, very well respected.
34:33
So in a letter to John Epps written in 1813, Thomas
34:37
Jefferson declared Thomas Jefferson, guys, Jefferson, he's
34:42
on our he's on our fake money, right?
34:45
Poor guy. I bet he's rolling over in his
34:48
grave being on paper money anyway.
34:50
Thomas Jefferson declared gold and silver the best form of
34:54
money. George Washington.
34:58
I mean, these are the people that, that, that we were taught
35:01
as young children were the, the bedrock, the foundation of our
35:04
country, the smartest guys ever in the world, right?
35:07
George Washington wrote to Thomas Jefferson on August 1st,
35:13
1786, quote, paper money. Think about this, guys.
35:18
This is moving. This is I loved.
35:20
I just love the way these guys write.
35:22
Paper money has had the effect in your state that it will that
35:27
it will ever have. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm choking up
35:32
here to ruin commerce, oppress the honest and open the door to
35:38
every species of fraud and injustice.
35:42
Can you? And I mean, in one short
35:44
sentence, think of anything that could have been written stronger
35:49
against paper money. Paper money has had the effect
35:51
in your state that it will, that it will ever have to ruin
35:54
commerce. Thomas Jefferson said this.
35:57
OK, it's working. Thomas Jefferson, my friend, it
36:01
is working. OK.
36:03
Ruin commerce, oppress the honest and open the door to
36:06
every species of fraud and injustice.
36:10
That, my friends, absolutely says it all.
36:13
The other big news. Hey, Brian, thank you.
36:15
Great job, Ron. Hold on here.
36:20
FSM current price. All right.
36:22
Yes, Fortuna. Fortuna Mining.
36:25
Right there they are right there.
36:27
Channel sponsor. Thank you, Brian.
36:29
OK, I appreciate the Super chat, my friend.
36:32
Absolutely, absolutely. The other big breaking news that
36:35
we had, and I don't know, let's go, let's go out, let's do our
36:39
check, right, 'cause we always say if the price keeps going up,
36:41
we'll keep going back to the pin backs website to see.
36:45
All right, let's take our blood pressure medicine.
36:47
Last time we checked, gold was down 1340 and we can say now
36:54
gold's only down 8 bucks. Thank you.
36:58
All right, maybe we'll come back again.
36:59
Silver $31.20. But the big news, right?
37:04
Oh my gosh, guys, gold, the last time this happened, I want you
37:07
to look, oh, do I have you guys up?
37:10
Yes, I do. I want you to look at that down
37:13
$8. I want you to put a zero after
37:16
that down $80.00 because the last time this happened and it
37:20
was only, I don't know, I guess 4 weeks, 5 weeks ago, a month
37:24
ago, that's what happened. They used it as an excuse to
37:28
murder the gold price. And that was this.
37:31
We're gonna go all the way to our friends.
37:35
And in London, the economic time midline, the central bank
37:40
refrains from gold purchases for second month.
37:43
So last month was the first time that they said that in May, the
37:48
Chinese central bank had not bought any gold and they crushed
37:50
the gold price. Remember that.
37:52
It was a horrible day. I think I talked about this last
37:54
night, but they also on that same day destroyed the silver
37:58
price, which made no sense, right?
38:00
Made absolutely no sense. I think I got a couple things I
38:03
want to show you here. It says Quartered appears the
38:07
gold price remains a little too high for the People's Bank of
38:11
China and they're waiting for further pull back before
38:14
resuming their gold purchasing program, said Nitesh Shah,
38:18
commodity strategist with Wisdom Tree.
38:21
But there was something else in here.
38:23
Hold on, here we go. There's a little more meat on
38:26
the bone. Guys.
38:28
This this guy says our models indicate that we may get a 7%
38:32
pull back in the gold price this quarter.
38:35
That would be now right? July, August, September, setting
38:39
up a perfect opportunity for the People's Bank of China to
38:41
acquire more gold, said Shaw. But it will have to be quick as
38:46
the metal is likely to rally to all time highs once again
38:51
shortly thereafter. And Yep, that was it.
38:56
OK, So China Central Bank, Oh my gosh.
38:59
Well, maybe because the Chinese people are buying all the gold,
39:02
right? I mean, come on, let's be real
39:04
here. Maybe the Indian people are
39:08
buying all the gold. One of those countries that I
39:10
think they had like a 68% increase in gold mine year over
39:14
year. So we're not so concerned about
39:16
what the P Bock is doing. Yes, right.
39:19
It's a big deal. Central banks are buying gold
39:22
throughout the world. Period.
39:23
OK, let's talk about silver. You want more good news on
39:27
silver? I know I talk about it every
39:30
day, but we never get sick of it, do we?
39:33
Basement dwellers? Every time we turn around, we're
39:36
hearing about more silver being needed for solar farms.
39:40
And then we get this right. New breaking news right from our
39:44
friend Mark Big Mark S friend of the basement Yahoo news
39:48
developer of utility scale silver solar Remember when we
39:54
don't just say solar, we say solar.
39:56
Silver projects announces major agreement with meta, whose meta
40:02
Meta is the company that's Facebook that owns Facebook.
40:06
These projects for meta put us on the map.
40:08
So now we've got a. When Meta, the parent company of
40:14
Facebook, inked the deal Adapter renewables to buy 330 megawatts
40:18
of solar power power from three utility scale solar farms last
40:23
year, two in Illinois, one in Arkansas, it jump started.
40:26
OK, these projects for Meta put us on the map, says the guy that
40:30
runs the company. What is that?
40:32
Hold on. OK, I don't know.
40:35
There we go. That's how I get rid of that.
40:37
So basically, and it says down here, the deal with the Damsher
40:42
is part of Meta's strategy to reach net zero pollution across
40:46
its value chain, vice president of origination for the solar
40:52
company said. So these big tech companies are
40:55
using more and more and more electricity.
41:00
It's crazy guys, right? And they're also wanting to,
41:04
they, they build these, these data centers out in the middle
41:07
of nowhere, right? And how do you get electricity
41:10
to the middle of nowhere? Well, I got an idea, right?
41:12
You build a solar farm close by and it's easy to transmit the
41:16
electricity. That's what they're doing in
41:18
China. That's what they're doing it in
41:19
China and India. They're building solar farms
41:21
that are, that are bigger than the city of Paris, bigger than
41:24
the city of New York, NY City, right?
41:27
You've seen the pictures. They're not solar farms.
41:30
They're solar silver farms. Because you can look at each one
41:33
of those panels and, and envision that as being roughly
41:38
about a one ounce or a two third ounce bar of silver.
41:41
And it'll be more in the future because the new, the new, the
41:45
new technology in solar is using even more silver.
41:49
OK, now who would have guessed it?
41:53
Do you believe? I have a question for you,
41:55
basement dweller. Do you believe that there were
41:57
times in history when silver was actually more valuable than
42:02
gold? Do you believe that?
42:06
I mean we know right now the gold to silver ratio, it takes
42:09
about we're just going to say about 80 ish ounces of silver to
42:13
buy one ounce of gold. But we know that in recent
42:16
history that let that number's gotten down as low as what
42:19
15/20/25. I think if we look at the recent
42:23
let's say 5000 year average, it's averaged more around 50 or
42:27
60 ish silver. So undervalue.
42:30
But let's just quickly run out here.
42:33
I want to show you this came from LinkedIn, of all places.
42:38
OK? From a guy named Adam O'Neill,
42:40
Right? When was silver worth more than
42:43
gold? There were.
42:45
OK, you probably always thought gold is the king of monetary
42:48
metals and silver is the poor man's gold, right?
42:52
But what if I told you there was a time when silver outshined it?
42:55
Shocking. Yes, we're shocked.
42:57
Adam, give us some data. There were indeed times in
43:00
history when silver was worth more than gold.
43:02
We will explore this subject by covering the following points.
43:06
And we already have gone through so many of these guys.
43:08
We're just gonna cover this one. Silver worth more than gold.
43:11
A historical perspective. OK.
43:16
In ancient Rome, for instance. Ancient Rome, for instance,
43:20
experienced a brief period when silver was more valuable than
43:24
gold after acquiring large amounts of gold plunder in the
43:28
19th century. Japan.
43:31
I believe that would have been the 1800s guys.
43:34
Japan sought silver so eagerly that they exchanged gold for
43:39
silver at a rate of one to three.
43:43
OK. The Sudan Arabs preferred silver
43:46
to gold, suggesting a higher value for silver in their
43:49
society. The Old Kingdom Egyptians
43:52
considered silver to be rare and therefore more valuable than
43:55
gold. The point here is, guys, is that
43:59
here, listen to this. Sir William Ridgeway.
44:01
What do you say we highlight this together, Basement
44:04
dwellers? All right, let's do that, and
44:07
we'll do it in. What the heck?
44:11
I don't know what's going on there.
44:13
Hold on here. Welcome to the basement.
44:16
I'm so glad you're here right now.
44:18
OK, super simple highlighter. What do you say we do that in
44:21
Cayenne, which is another way to say light blue?
44:23
Sir William Ridgeway, in his book The Origin of Metallic
44:26
Currency and Weight Standards, pointed out that silver must
44:30
have been of higher value than gold at some point in all
44:33
countries. However, as silver production
44:36
increased, its value became equal to that of gold and
44:39
eventually must much less valuable.
44:41
I want you to think about that for a second.
44:44
Think about that for a second, because we know now, right?
44:47
So there's times in history when silver is more valuable than
44:51
gold. Check.
44:52
OK, I, I, I love gold. Don't get me wrong.
44:55
You know, I own a ton of gold mining stocks, absolutely love
44:59
gold. I'm a silver stacker.
45:01
I'm just, I'm, I'm a don't please don't don't unsubscribe,
45:06
Please subscribe. Please give this a thumbs up.
45:08
But I'll be honest with you, when it comes to pretty, you put
45:12
a gold coin and a silver coin in front of me.
45:14
I prefer the silver, right? And apparently other people in
45:18
history did as well, right? And the other, the other thing,
45:21
the other thing that we and I know, look, you put a gold coin
45:24
and a silver coin in front of me and say I can have either one.
45:27
Even though I may think the silver's prettier, I'm still
45:30
going to take your gold coin because it's worth right now
45:35
measured in Unicorn fart dust Fiat paper.
45:38
Here comes a piece. Oh, it's floating around.
45:40
I can't keep this stuff from flying around the basement.
45:43
It's just nothing, right? Right, because, because, and
45:46
when you measure it right now in in in Fiat dollar right, that
45:51
silver is what, 80 * 76 times whatever the gold and silver
45:55
ratio's more valuable. But I would think if I'm just
45:58
being honest engine with you, I would I would tell you that I
46:02
think the silver is more beautiful.
46:04
But the what's hidden in that article, right?
46:07
A lot of times it wasn't just the perception of beauty.
46:11
It was the supply and the demand of silver.
46:14
And go think about this guys that dictated these periods
46:18
where silver became more valuable than gold.
46:21
And aren't we, I, I know John Little last time, and if I'm
46:24
wrong, John, correct me, but I believe John Little, the last
46:28
time I talked to him, pointed the fact out that there's
46:30
actually more above ground gold right now in the world than
46:35
there is more above ground silver.
46:37
Now, all the gold is because most gold never gets consumed,
46:40
right. It gets stored either in jewelry
46:43
or bars or coins. Whereas silver, as we know, or
46:46
have you heard silver's being consumed?
46:49
Yeah, It's being put in all those solar panels.
46:51
I think we covered that already, didn't we?
46:53
Basement dwellers, I mean, so the above ground amount of gold
46:56
is more than that of silver. And right right now the mining
47:02
ratio, this is crazy. For each one ounce of gold
47:06
that's that's mined in the world, right, there's only 7
47:10
ounces of silver, right? So the really and then that
47:14
silver is being consumed. I mean really like as you, we
47:19
could say conservatively 7 to one.
47:22
What would that be? Hold on, let's pull out the
47:24
calculator here. I'm just just for fun, right?
47:29
And I'm not saying don't make any financial decisions.
47:32
Hold on here, guys, are you with me?
47:34
And you're not even with me here.
47:36
Now you're with me. Let's do a let's do an update.
47:39
Please be up. Please be up.
47:41
OK, Gold down 11, silver 3120, let's say, and let's figure out
47:47
it it's 7 to one what the silver price would be.
47:52
OK, 3120 divided 3100. I'm sorry, what am I saying
47:58
here? 2000, the gold price $2375.00 /
48:07
7. You're not going to believe it.
48:10
That would be a $340 silver price right now.
48:15
And that's just based on the ratio at which it's being mined
48:19
and coming out of the ground. We're not even going to factor
48:22
in that of that 7 oz for of silver for each one ounce of
48:26
gold. A lot of those 7 ounces are
48:30
being are being consumed, right? What half of it at least?
48:35
So I don't know guys, to me, the the the and I love gold. yo-yo,
48:41
go gold right, Let's root for gold.
48:43
You know, hey, let's root for a Green Day in the medals today.
