- 0:03We have a massive week coming up right now for silver and gold.
- 0:07It's going to be a big week for you, basement dweller.
- 0:10But we also have a big warning from the Bank for International
- 0:15Settlements. Now, who are they, you may ask?
- 0:17Well, they are the central Bank of the central banks.
- 0:21They are essentially who the United States Federal Reserve
- 0:24and our old friend Gomer Powell report to, and they're issuing a
- 0:29stark warning. We're also going to look at this
- 0:32project in Bridge. I'll share with you a few things
- 0:35that I learned about that and what that could mean for the
- 0:38value of your silver and gold. Big developments going on
- 0:41everywhere. But wait, there's even more.
- 0:44We're getting a big warning from the US bond market, and that
- 0:48relates directly to precious metals as well.
- 0:52But before we get to that, I want to say thank you for
- 0:54joining me bright and early. Here we are and guys, we have so
- 0:59much to talk about. It's such a big honor to me and
- 1:02Susie that you join us here in the basement.
- 1:05Thank you for your ongoing support.
- 1:07Please give this a thumbs up. You can subscribe to the
- 1:10channel. It's always free and super
- 1:13chats, any form of support are always greatly appreciated.
- 1:16I just wanted to say thank you. Hey, I've been catching a lot of
- 1:19heat. I said something yesterday, got
- 1:21got myself into a little bit of trouble.
- 1:23Apparently I made this statement that with 1.4 billion people in
- 1:30China, 1.4 billion, Need I remind you we have just over a
- 1:34little over 300 million in the United States.
- 1:36But with 1.4 billion people in China, if just 7 out of 10 of
- 1:42them or 70%, that would be almost 1 billion people,
- 1:47technically 980 million, nine, 980 million people.
- 1:50But if they were all to buy one ounce of silver, it would wipe
- 1:53out the entire year mine supply. Well, I got in some big, big
- 1:57trouble. Thank you, Daniel.
- 1:59Wow, lift my spirits here on a Monday morning.
- 2:01Thank you. I got I got some I got some
- 2:04heated response to that idea. People saying you're spreading
- 2:08misinformation. The people in China can hardly
- 2:11afford to eat and there's no way that they're going to that that
- 2:15that you can get seven out. And I wasn't saying that I
- 2:18thought it was going to happen this week, this month.
- 2:20I was just using that as an example.
- 2:22But I want to come back on that a little bit.
- 2:25Fight back, guys. Because seriously, I don't
- 2:28Number one, I don't think everybody in China is starving
- 2:31anymore. We know the Chinese people are
- 2:33buying gold hand over fist, right?
- 2:36We see pictures of 800,000 Chinese people lining up to buy
- 2:39gold after the after the lunar holiday.
- 2:43I don't think it's that big of a stretch to think that 7 out of
- 2:4610 of them could afford to buy one stinking ounce of silver and
- 2:50wipe out the entire mining supply for the year.
- 2:52But I also want to throw in there, if you add China and
- 2:57India's populations together, you come to $2.8 billion.
- 3:02I want to refer to my notes to make sure I have this accurate.
- 3:052.8 billion people, I apologize. 2.8 billion people, All the
- 3:10Chinese, all the Indians, you know the story.
- 3:13They love silver and gold. If we had just 35%, OK, 35% of
- 3:20the people that live in China and India by 1 ounce of silver,
- 3:26that would be a billion people. Again, just three, three and a
- 3:30half, 35% of the Chinese and the Indian population with the what
- 3:35the point is, is that the silver and gold markets are so
- 3:38sensitive, so delicate, right? Especially silver.
- 3:43There's just not a lot of silver out there.
- 3:45And if you're talking about four out of 10, I'll be conservative
- 3:49Chinese and Indian people buying one ounce of silver.
- 3:52And then people say, well, people in India are poor.
- 3:55People in India are poor, People in the United States are poor.
- 3:58People everywhere are poor, right?
- 4:01But people in India, you can't tell me that 7 out of 10 Indian
- 4:05people couldn't afford to buy one ounce of silver because coin
- 4:09Shop Chris. Thanks again, Daniel, for that
- 4:11super chat, super appreciated. Coin Shop Chris and I, I'm going
- 4:14to pull something up quickly for you looked at this yesterday,
- 4:20OK, if you're going to tell me all right that that and this is
- 4:25from this is from India, this is from the the Times of India
- 4:30newspaper, OK, listen, the big study irrespective of of income,
- 4:35gold accounts for an average 18% of assets hold held by Indian
- 4:41households. They surveyed 43,000 Indian
- 4:44households. They came on average the average
- 4:47Indian household. Here I'll read this to you.
- 4:49The lure of gold is never diminished for Indians
- 4:52irrespective of their income level.
- 4:54In average Indian household has 18% of their total investment in
- 4:58gold, indicated a study carried out by the India Gold Policy
- 5:03Center. So if they can afford that much
- 5:05gold, and let's take a step back, we also know that Indian
- 5:11households, just their households, not their central
- 5:14banks, have 25,000 metric tons of gold, right?
- 5:18Like three times of what the United States supposedly has at
- 5:22Fort Knox. Thank you, all 200 of you
- 5:25basement dwellers, bright and early here on a Monday morning.
- 5:28How can Indian households have 25,000 metric tons, three times
- 5:33that of what we have supposedly hidden at Fort Knox?
- 5:37But you're gonna tell me that Indian households, Indian people
- 5:42couldn't afford to buy one ounce of silver per person on average
- 5:48and they have 18% of their of their wealth?
- 5:50I almost knocked my coffee over stored in gold.
- 5:55So I'm sorry to the guy or the several people that said I was
- 5:59crazy to say these things and I'm spreading misinformation.
- 6:02I don't agree, right? I think that in particular, if
- 6:06you combine India and China, 2.8 billion people and say, do you
- 6:11think 3 out of 10, four out of 10 people in those countries
- 6:14could afford to buy one ounce of silver?
- 6:15Yes, OK. And it's just an example.
- 6:19But again, I want to hammer home, it shows just how delicate
- 6:24the market is. And on top of that, think about
- 6:27how, how the solar and you know, the whole story, the solar
- 6:29electronics, the electric car industry is sucking in all this
- 6:33silver. Heck, we could probably have one
- 6:35out of 10 Indian people, one out of 10 Chinese people buy one
- 6:40ounce of silver and it would wipe out like all available
- 6:43above ground supplies. I mean, because there's the,
- 6:46the, because what industry? We don't even know what the
- 6:48military's using silver wise. We don't even know what they're
- 6:52using for aerospace satellites and all that good stuff.
- 6:56Hey, let's let's all have a quick sip of coffee, OK?
- 7:05This is the biggest week in the history of the world for silver
- 7:09and gold. Seriously, it's a big week.
- 7:12Tuesday and Wednesday. Don't forget this guy Jerome
- 7:15Powell. I'm going to leave him in his
- 7:16box this morning. He gets Monday off.
- 7:19Jerome Powell's going to be testifying in Washington.
- 7:22DCI don't know to the House of referee.
- 7:24He does it once every six months so we can get some big headlines
- 7:27that do move the silver and gold price.
- 7:30Again, noise, short term noise. But I want you to be aware that
- 7:34that's going on. And of course, Thursday will be
- 7:37the inflation number. We've talked about that
- 7:40exhaustively. I am predicting I'm going out on
- 7:43a limb, a tree limb, like the tree limbs I trimmed yesterday,
- 7:47man, after the live stream yesterday morning.
- 7:49I'm 54 years old. I don't know how old you are,
- 7:52but I went out and did about four hours of tree trimming and
- 7:54it just knocked me for a loop. And it was, it was hot, but not
- 7:58that hot. I tell you what, people that
- 8:00work with trees, tree trimming, that's got to be the hardest
- 8:03work. OK.
- 8:04And I was a steel worker during the summers when I was in
- 8:06college, made steel three piece can baby food, baby formula
- 8:11cans. I've done some hard work in some
- 8:13hot conditions, but tree work is the worst.
- 8:15But I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you that on
- 8:18Wednesday, here's what you can expect.
- 8:21This is how it all works, right? The current administration needs
- 8:25a low inflation number so they can brag to the world that, oh,
- 8:29inflation's down. We're doing a great job.
- 8:31Look, what do they call it? Disastronomics.
- 8:34No, not disastronomics. Voodoo.
- 8:36No, I think it's called Bidenomics.
- 8:39It's working. Anyway, They need a low
- 8:42inflation number. Guess who else needs a low
- 8:44inflation number? Yeah, our old friend.
- 8:47Let's get him out. What the heck?
- 8:48Here he is. He's so available.
- 8:51Everybody say hi. You'll be hearing a lot from me
- 8:53this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- 8:55But this guy also needs a low inflation number on Wednesday
- 9:00because the US economy is in in full break mode.
- 9:06I mean, have you noticed I'm over the weekend?
- 9:08It was like Saturday night. I mean, it was Friday night.
- 9:11I don't know, Saturday, Friday or Saturday night.
- 9:13I went to my little shop. I have a shopping center about a
- 9:15mile from my house with my daughters to buy some Bluebell
- 9:19ice cream because they love Bluebell or Bell.
- 9:21I don't know this new ice cream that came out.
- 9:24There's a Dierbergs grocery store.
- 9:26There's a big massive strip mall with like probably 100 different
- 9:30stores, Chinese restaurants, Mexican restaurants, bread
- 9:35company, we call it the bread company.
- 9:36Panera, I think is what you call it.
- 9:38It was the place was empty. It was like 8:00 granite, but
- 9:42I'm like it's empty. I'm getting reports from
- 9:45everybody. I, I heard a guy talking about
- 9:47he was bringing his daughter or his like 2 year old daughter to
- 9:50her swim lessons and he was like a year ago I couldn't find a
- 9:55place to park here right now. It's like a ghost town.
- 10:00I mean, guys, things are slow and I'm like think about things
- 10:02like eating out. Like I just talked about what I
- 10:05saw. Think about things like swim
- 10:07lessons for your two or three-year old.
- 10:10Irrespective the kid, people will do almost anything for
- 10:13their kids. I know you, you're one of those
- 10:16people, right? You'd do anything for your kids,
- 10:18your family. But swim lessons for a two or
- 10:21three-year old, if money gets tight, that might be one of
- 10:23those things that you say, you know what, we can put that off
- 10:26for a year or two. So things are slowing down. the
- 10:29Fed does need to see, they need a low inflation number, even
- 10:33though it'll all be concocted, all, it's all a bunch of BS,
- 10:37right? But I'm just telling you what to
- 10:39expect. I'm I'm out on a limb if I'm
- 10:42wrong on Thursday, I'll come here and say I'm wrong.
- 10:44But they need that low inflation number so that the Fed,
- 10:47everybody's clamoring for rate cuts.
- 10:50That's all you're going to hear about this week.
- 10:51Rate cuts, rate cuts, rate cuts. September, you know, are two,
- 10:56one or two rate cuts, two or three rate cuts, blah, blah,
- 10:59blah. OK.
- 11:00It will move the market. That's what you can expect, a
- 11:03lower inflation print. You heard it here first, OK.
- 11:07And then all this uproar in the in the mainstream financial
- 11:11media about how they're going to have to cut rates and it should
- 11:15be a supportive environment for silver and gold.
- 11:18Don't make any financial decisions based on that.
- 11:21Don't make any decisions based on that.
- 11:22But that's what I see happening. I think we could have smiles on
- 11:26our face potentially by the end of the week as we go into next
- 11:29weekend when we look at the silver and go, it's all
- 11:33manipulated guys. And I'll give you my best read.
- 11:36Look, you, you give me your opinion, leave a leave a a
- 11:40comment in the comment section. I want to run out and say thank
- 11:43you. Thank you.
- 11:45Let's do an update. OK, well, let's say this first
- 11:48Pinbex makes this live stream video possible.
- 11:52So do our other sponsors first mining gold and Fortuna mining.
- 11:56But Pinbex is a company that I've used to buy my silver from
- 12:02for over a year, multiple purchases.
- 12:05I worked with them before they were a sponsor of the basement.
- 12:09I was so thrilled when we came to an agreement for them to
- 12:11sponsor because I believe in the company.
- 12:13I know that when I go there, it's a one stop shop where I'm
- 12:16going to get ultra competitive pricing.
- 12:19OK. And that's important to me
- 12:21because I want to get the most metal for my money.
- 12:23I want to make sure that there's an ample selection and there
- 12:26always is. They always have what I need and
- 12:29it's a company that I can trust. I know the guys that started it
- 12:33that own it. I happen to think very highly of
- 12:36them. But hey, you need to figure it
- 12:38out for yourself. I will never tell you what you
- 12:40should do or what you need to do, but I'm just making a
- 12:44recommendation. Next time you're in the market,
- 12:46go market for gold or silver or platinum or thinking about
- 12:49converting an IRA into precious metals.
- 12:52I really do think you'll do yourself a favor by checking out
- 12:55Pembecks. Let's do an update.
- 12:57OK, Take your blood pressure medicine.
- 12:59I'm going to click it here and come on.
- 13:03Is that it? OK, hey, we're down $13 in gold.
- 13:08I'll take it. It was, it was worse earlier.
- 13:10Silver, $31.07. So guys, we're hanging strong.
- 13:14Let's talk about these big warnings coming at us.
- 13:17Some big warnings. You know the Bank for
- 13:20International Settlements, You need to you need to know who
- 13:23this is. I'll tell you what, This guy has
- 13:26a boss. Yeah, well, besides the fact
- 13:31that he works for a bunch of wealthy bankers, he also has an
- 13:35organization above him called the Bank for International
- 13:38Settlements. And they put out a big, big
- 13:40warning. OK.
- 13:42And now we've got the situation going on in France that we're
- 13:45going to talk about. That could exacerbate the
- 13:47situation. And we also have another big
- 13:50warning we're going to get to from the US bond market.
- 13:53We got warnings going off everywhere.
- 13:55Hopefully I put red sirens in the in the description for this
- 14:00video here. This is from the Guardian, which
- 14:05I think is a a a newspaper based in the United Kingdom where the
- 14:09LBMI is the London million Market Association.
- 14:13Anyhow, this says soaring government debt could roil
- 14:18global financial guys. OK, it's just a headline, right?
- 14:22Soaring government debt could royal global financial markets,
- 14:27warns the Bank for International Settlements head.
- 14:31There's three big things in here, OK, soaring government
- 14:35debt, OK, the Roy roiling of global financial markets, which
- 14:43would mean like financial crisis.
- 14:44By the way, remember we talked about that a white swan, not a
- 14:48Black Swan because we see it coming.
- 14:50So to us it's a white swan. But the head of the BIS, the
- 14:54head of the Bank for International Settlements,
- 14:56that's the the the central bank for the central banks.
- 15:01And this guy is Augustine Karsten said world economy on
- 15:05course for a smooth landing after inflation, but political
- 15:09turmoil risks. OK, let's just read this two
- 15:13paragraphs 'cause this is a big warning.
- 15:15Rising government debt levels could disturb global financial
- 15:19markets, the head of the body that advises central banks said
- 15:23on Sunday before France's high stake parliament elections.
- 15:28Wait till you hear about what happened in France guys.
- 15:31The the dial has been turned up OK?
- 15:35Augustine Karstens, the general manager of the Bank for
- 15:38International Settlements, said the world economy was on course
- 15:41for a smooth landing from from the inflation crisis, But he
- 15:45warned that policy makers, especially politicians, needed
- 15:50to be careful. He basically, and I dug into
- 15:54this deeply and a couple of other articles said that that
- 15:59that these things pop up out of nowhere and that we're kind of
- 16:02on the verge, right? We're in a very precarious
- 16:05situation. So they didn't get into that.
- 16:07And this they, they conveniently left that out in this article.
- 16:11But he did say like, we are in a very precarious situation and
- 16:15these things happen, right? Like in an instant.
- 16:18Again, it's not a Black Swan to you, right?
- 16:21It's a white swan because you likely know, right?
- 16:24You listen to, to, to, to people like me.
- 16:26You listen to all kinds of different people that are
- 16:28analyzing what's going on. Please just don't listen to me.
- 16:31Trust me, that's not a good idea.
- 16:33Listen to a lot of different people form your own opinions.
- 16:37But what he's saying is that this can happen quickly.
- 16:40He said they meaning the government's must cut short the
- 16:43rise in public debt and accept that interest rates may not
- 16:46return to pre pandemic ultra low levels.
- 16:50We need a solid foundation to build upon.
- 16:53Then he said this. He didn't say this quote.
- 16:55They can surprise you without much notice talking about
- 16:59turbulence in Britain. They had a big, they had a
- 17:01little miniature financial crisis in Britain with the, with
- 17:05the collapse of their, their bond market with that happened.
- 17:08And they came in and of course printed money and saved the day,
- 17:12you know? OK, now, now let's talk about
- 17:15France, right? Look, we're not an international
- 17:17politics channel. We're not a politics channel at
- 17:20all. But there's big warnings going
- 17:22on. France could be a catalyst.
- 17:25You know, we could be blaming France for a financial crisis
- 17:29six or seven weeks from now. You heard it here first.
- 17:32I'm not predicting that, but I'm saying we could because there is
- 17:36all kinds of political turmoil in France and what happened
- 17:39yesterday when it comes to a financial markets perspective
- 17:43was the worst case scenario, said the left wing.
- 17:46New Popular Front Alliance, now pulling second, says its first
- 17:50moves would would include a 10% civil servant pay hike,
- 17:54providing free school lunches, supplies and transport while
- 17:57rising, raising household subsidies by 10%.
- 18:01This turmoil has sent the cost of French government of
- 18:05servicing its debt on the international markets rocketing
- 18:09with the risk premium or spread demanded by holders of French
- 18:13debt over Germany's, Germany's rising over Germany's rising to
- 18:18its highest level since 2012. So the, the, the, the, the debt
- 18:23of France is collapsing in value because people are scared and
- 18:27and what they warned about happening here guys did happen
- 18:32yesterday. Again, I'm not making a
- 18:33political statement, but let's go take a look quickly.
- 18:38It's something very interesting. So this ultra left coalition, I
- 18:42guess won. And here was what Daniel Lacal
- 18:47had to say here on X. He said France was going to
- 18:50choose between debt, more debt and way more debt, way more
- 18:57debt. It is fascinating.
- 18:59So the party that won, right, the the political force that
- 19:03will be taking over in France is, is, is going to be blowing
- 19:08out their debt levels. And that was what the BIS guy
- 19:11was warning about before these elections occurred, deficit and
- 19:17debt projections via Bloomberg. So we need to keep an eye on
- 19:21that. Now at the same time, what about
- 19:23project in Bridge, right? I'm going to touch on that for a
- 19:26second because all of this ties into this project in Bridge,
- 19:29which is a affiliated with the Bank for International
- 19:33Settlements. Some people are speculating,
- 19:36right? This is a CBDCBDC related
- 19:39payment system between some of the BRICS countries.
- 19:42We're going to dig into it here in a second, but some people are
- 19:45speculating that soon potentially it could potentially
- 19:50be back to a certain degree with gold, right, the return to a
- 19:54gold standard type operation. So, and let's remember, let's
- 20:01remember one thing right? When we're talking about the
- 20:03Bank for International Settlements, that's the central
- 20:07Bank of the central banks. You can think that Jerome Powell
- 20:11reports to them, OK. But the other little secret
- 20:14thing? Right.
- 20:15That we all kind of forgot about.
- 20:17It was a big deal 3-4 years ago and it still is a huge deal and
- 20:22it could play into this new monetary system, potentially
- 20:25even this Enbridge system. Is that the Bank for
- 20:28International Settlements, when they put out their Basel 3
- 20:31regulations, they totally moved up how gold is valued on the
- 20:38balance sheets of central banks. They made it into a tier one
- 20:42asset and a lot of people in the silver and gold community made a
- 20:45huge deal about that when it was going on.
- 20:49And it still is a huge deal. So we've got the Bank for
- 20:53International Settlements warning of a debt crisis,
- 20:56essentially saying that it could happen quickly, warning against
- 21:01situations unfolding like we're seeing in France.
- 21:04And again, I'm all for the people.
- 21:05I'm not, I'm not speaking against France, but warning
- 21:08against what's happening in France.
- 21:10We have France is going into a potential debt crisis of sorts,
- 21:16right? And at the same time, we have
- 21:18this project in bridge going on. Let's go quickly just to do a, a
- 21:22quick brief bit of of, of education here.
- 21:26The in bridge system multiple CCBDC bridges a multiple a multi
- 21:32CBDC platform developed to support real time peer-to-peer
- 21:36cross-border payments and foreign exchange transactions
- 21:39using CBD CS based on a blockchain called in bridge
- 21:43Ledger. The platform is is designed to
- 21:46ensure compliance with jurisdiction, specific policy
- 21:49and legal requirements, regulations and government
- 21:52needs. This is where it gets
- 21:53interesting though. We're just going to read this
- 21:55paragraph because this gives us some insight into what's going
- 21:59on. There we go in blue.
- 22:02Oh, did I press the button? I did Hold on.
- 22:06Here we go, guys in blue. Currently, 5 entities are
- 22:09jointly developing in bridge. They include the Hong Kong
- 22:13Monetary Authority, the Bank of Thailand, the Central Bank of
- 22:18the United Arab Emirates, the Digital Currency Research
- 22:21Institute of the People's Bank of China, and the Bank for
- 22:27International Settlements Innovation Hub Hong Kong Center.
- 22:31Saudi Arabia's central bank joined in June of 2024.
- 22:35That would have been last month. Guys, this is huge, OK?
- 22:40This is huge. Hong Kong, Thailand, Hong Kong
- 22:43Central Bank, Thailand Central Bank, UAE Central Bank, the, the
- 22:47Chinese central bank, right? And the, the, the Bank for
- 22:51International Settlements themselves the great granddaddy
- 22:55of central banking and now Saudi Arabia.
- 22:58So we need to keep a close eye on what is going on in the world
- 23:03'cause they're kind of setting the stage, right?
- 23:05They're kind of setting the stage.
- 23:08They aren't going to Telegraph to us what's going on.
- 23:11We do have to play 3D chess. We do have to dive into the deep
- 23:15end. And it sure feels like something
- 23:17is brewing. You know, I, I watched a great
- 23:21video. This guy that was at was talking
- 23:23about the, the, the, the like potential for a financial
- 23:27crisis, the fact that the economy in the United States is
- 23:31crashing right now. And he brought up a great point.
- 23:34He's like, they're never going to tell us that it's going on.
- 23:37And this was the guy who was at his, his kids swimming lesson
- 23:40parking lot saying there's nobody here.
- 23:42Nobody's doing swimming lessons. People aren't paying that.
- 23:44The, the people told like they don't have money, right?
- 23:47He brought up a great point. He said, they aren't going to
- 23:50tell us that that's going on. We aren't going to get that
- 23:52message from from Janet Yellen or anything like that.
- 23:57Think about what happened with President Biden, right?
- 24:00They didn't tell anybody that that was going on.
- 24:04You probably knew. I knew because I dive in the
- 24:07deep end. We dive into the deep end.
- 24:09We, we look at alternative news sources.
- 24:11We had seen reports over the years that the mental capacity
- 24:17of Joe Biden was being questioned.
- 24:19OK, not a political show here, not at all.
- 24:22But I'm just talking facts. I saw many, many clips, many
- 24:26articles that questioned what was going on with President Joe
- 24:29Biden. 99% of Americans apparently didn't know that that
- 24:33was going on, right? They were surprised last
- 24:36Thursday at the debate situation.
- 24:39The same thing can be going on right now with the economy.
- 24:42They're not gonna tell they no. They weren't telling us.
- 24:45It wasn't me. It wasn't on CNN, the Children's
- 24:47News network. It wasn't on MSNBS or any of
- 24:50those stations that we have. Big issue.
- 24:52No, just like right now, they're not going to tell you, whoa, the
- 24:56economy's in bad shape. They're they're going to wait
- 24:59until they just absolutely, absolutely have to.
- 25:03So just bear that in mind as we navigate through what's going
- 25:06on. OK?
- 25:10OK. What about the United States?
- 25:11Let me just throw this in there. We talked about the Bank for
- 25:14International Settlements warning with what's going on in
- 25:17France, warning about the potential for like something to
- 25:20happen quickly financial crisis wise.
- 25:23We know that the situation in France now is escalating.
- 25:26What's going on? But what about the United
- 25:28States, right? You know, what, what if, what if
- 25:33we have a contested election? What if we have political
- 25:36turmoil here? There's so many things sitting
- 25:39right there that could be the catalyst, right?
- 25:42That could easily be a catalyst for some very, very difficult
- 25:45times in the world economy. That could be a catalyst for
- 25:49some form some level of a financial crisis.
- 25:53I don't want to be the sky is falling, right?
- 25:56We could be wrong. I mean, let's be real, the first
- 25:59six months of this year were pretty non eventful.
- 26:02But again, these things happen. All of a sudden it's like Andy
- 26:06Scheckman says, it's like playing Jenga, right?
- 26:08You take a piece out, you take a piece out, you have recency
- 26:11bias. You think, oh, everything's
- 26:13great, everything's wonderful. I'm hearing a lot more people
- 26:16talk about this idea of recency bias.
- 26:18Well, nothing happened. Excuse me, nothing happened
- 26:21yesterday. So nothing will happen today
- 26:23until it all does happen. And what is the bond market
- 26:28warning us and what does that have?
- 26:29This is crazy, guys. This is I Lynette Zhang was the
- 26:33first person that I saw bring this up.
- 26:37But other top analysts are talking about what's going on
- 26:40with gold and the bond market. And it really is, well, good
- 26:46news for precious metals investors.
- 26:49Let's all have a drink of coffee and be right back.
- 26:55All right, we're back. I need to put up our banner so
- 26:58we can see and support our sponsors here in the basement.
- 27:03Hey, thank you again for that super chat.
- 27:05That was super awesome, Daniel. I really appreciate it.
- 27:09All right guys, now have you heard this is kind of, this is
- 27:14about what we would consider breaking news for a silver and
- 27:17gold investors. What's the safest investment you
- 27:20can make? I want you to think about that,
- 27:23right? What have you always been told?
- 27:25What is the mainstream financial services industry?
- 27:28What does the mainstream media tell you?
- 27:30The safest, right? You want to be safe with your
- 27:33money? Oh, U.S.
- 27:34Treasury bonds, those are the safest investment, right?
- 27:38That's good as good as gold. Well, maybe not, maybe not
- 27:44right, but but the world has been brainwashed into believing
- 27:48that that IO us from the US government, right?
- 27:51That and we know the whole story on the debt and the deficits.
- 27:54We won't go there, but these IO us, these promises are the
- 27:58safest investment in the history of the world.
- 28:00Well, guys, that has changed. We had a a major big change
- 28:04occur. Let's read this.
- 28:07I thought this was a good synopsis.
- 28:09For the first time in 50 years, gold returns surpass that of
- 28:16U.S. debt here for the for the most of the of the past half
- 28:20century, excuse me, U.S. Treasury bonds have easily
- 28:24outperformed gold as a type of investment bought and held.
- 28:28OK, so bonds were remember, oh, we had this 50 year rally in the
- 28:32bond markets. Yeah, no joke because it was all
- 28:34based on money printing make believe funny money.
- 28:40You know QE and and and and a bunch of BS not right. 50 years
- 28:44roughly since Nixon took us off the gold standard.
- 28:47Today, the status of U.S. Treasury bonds as the ultimate
- 28:52safe haven is facing one of the greatest challenges ever before.
- 28:57OK, that article says our, our paragraph says people
- 29:00traditionally go traditionally buy bonds because they're the
- 29:05safest thing ever. That's what their that's what
- 29:07their parents told them and that's what their their stock
- 29:09broker tells them. And anyway, the stock broker
- 29:12doesn't tell them to buy gold or silver because the stock broker
- 29:16doesn't make our financial planner doesn't make a hefty
- 29:19Commission off that, but they do make a Commission off bonds
- 29:22nonetheless. I digress.
- 29:24Recently, this relationship between gold and bonds has been
- 29:29changing. The recent trends are favorable
- 29:31to gold. The benchmark Bloomberg U.S.
- 29:34Treasury Total Return Index is on its way to its third annual
- 29:40decline, extending the decline since peaking in 2020 to 11%.
- 29:47In contrast, gold hit a new high this week and this and has
- 29:51recorded a 15% return so far this year.
- 29:55I read 16% in a different article earlier.
- 29:58OK, here, the first choice for safe haven assets has become
- 30:02gold rather than U.S. Treasury bonds.
- 30:05This is Hooper who said that. Hooper.
- 30:08Thank you. Hooper.
- 30:09I wonder if you're an analyst. Anyway, the bigger subject is
- 30:13concern about America's huge debt and unsustainable US fiscal
- 30:19conditions. OK, guys, gold is beating bonds
- 30:23on A50 year basis. This is huge on a couple levels
- 30:28because bonds are going to continue to go down in value.
- 30:31OK #2 The other big thing I want you to think about this is this
- 30:37fact becomes as more people recognize this, that will be
- 30:40more and more people saying, Oh my gosh, did you hear that gold
- 30:45be treasury bonds? That will be more and more
- 30:48people, more and more attention on gold and silver, which we
- 30:52both know, right, has been, has been lacking over the last 50
- 30:56years. Absolutely.
- 30:57Gold is fighting back. Gold is in a war, a war against
- 31:01good and evil. This divergent in performance
- 31:05means that gold has surpassed U.S.
- 31:07Government debt is a long term investment, $1.00 invested in
- 31:11gold 51 years ago is now worth 2314.
- 31:16Wait a minute, I don't think that makes sense.
- 31:19Anyway, don't quote me on that one.
- 31:22Which is $172 more than the return from the Bloomberg U.S.
- 31:27Treasury Index which came out in 1973.
- 31:31OK, they do point out this comparison does not take into
- 31:35account the storage cost of holding gold.
- 31:37But if you hold it at your house or you hold it wherever, you
- 31:40don't have to worry about that. Guys, this is the war between
- 31:44good and evil. Thank you again, Daniel, for
- 31:47that super chat. Thank you guys for giving us a
- 31:50thumbs up. Do you want to do something nice
- 31:51quickly? Doesn't it feel good to do nice
- 31:54things? Basement dwellers?
- 31:55Yes. I know one thing about you, OK?
- 31:58I know why I think about this every time I go to my mailbox.
- 32:00I think about you because often times I see my mailman, OK, my
- 32:04new mailman's name is Kevin. He's like a friend and I always
- 32:07think about my basement was I'm like, they're the type of people
- 32:10that are like me. They're friends with their
- 32:12mailman. They know who their trash man
- 32:14is, right? They're just good down to earth
- 32:16people. So thank you for being here.
- 32:18I don't know why I said that, but I really feel that right?
- 32:21Like you're good now I know why you're good, nice people.
- 32:23Please give this a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you
- 32:26haven't already. And if you feel generous ever.
- 32:29Yeah, super chats are super appreciated.
- 32:32OK? Anything you send me, I'm always
- 32:34very appreciative. But we are in a war between good
- 32:37and evil. Really.
- 32:39Really. Wait till you hear this.
- 32:41Wait, wait. This one knocked my socks off.
- 32:44OK. But I want to finish one last
- 32:47thing on that last point. We were told that bonds were the
- 32:50safest investment in the world. They're good as gold, right?
- 32:56Well, that statement's coming back to bite them in the arse,
- 32:59right, because they're not good as gold anymore.
- 33:02Gold is, right? And again, guys, this is could
- 33:05draw major attention to the precious metals.
- 33:09It's all happening. Think about what the BIS guys
- 33:12are saying, you know, think about what the BI Bank for
- 33:15International Settlements did with the with the status of
- 33:17gold, with the Basil 3 regulations, which made gold a
- 33:21tier one asset, right? The world is changing and I
- 33:27can't, and I'm not saying I'm not going to say gold and silver
- 33:29are going to completely take over the world, but their status
- 33:33by any measure is increasing, right?
- 33:37Is increasing more and more people.
- 33:39We know that this Bank of America study that came out
- 33:42recently talked about how young people are increasingly moving
- 33:46their money to alternative asset classes.
- 33:48They don't believe in the stock market.
- 33:50They don't believe in in the American dream anymore.
- 33:53Unfortunately, a lot of them, right.
- 33:56So what are they doing? Some of them are also moving
- 33:59their money to silver and gold. It's it's we, we are in a very,
- 34:03very interesting period of time right now.
- 34:06But let's talk about the war on silver and gold.
- 34:09I want to pull this up. I thought this was just classic,
- 34:14classic. This came from a guy named David
- 34:17W Smith. OK, and let me pull it up so I
- 34:22can read it completely. OK, This said in a letter to
- 34:25John Epps, and I believe John Epps was a physician, but he was
- 34:29a very politically active person, very well respected.
- 34:33So in a letter to John Epps written in 1813, Thomas
- 34:37Jefferson declared Thomas Jefferson, guys, Jefferson, he's
- 34:42on our he's on our fake money, right?
- 34:45Poor guy. I bet he's rolling over in his
- 34:48grave being on paper money anyway.
- 34:50Thomas Jefferson declared gold and silver the best form of
- 34:54money. George Washington.
- 34:58I mean, these are the people that, that, that we were taught
- 35:01as young children were the, the bedrock, the foundation of our
- 35:04country, the smartest guys ever in the world, right?
- 35:07George Washington wrote to Thomas Jefferson on August 1st,
- 35:131786, quote, paper money. Think about this, guys.
- 35:18This is moving. This is I loved.
- 35:20I just love the way these guys write.
- 35:22Paper money has had the effect in your state that it will that
- 35:27it will ever have. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm choking up
- 35:32here to ruin commerce, oppress the honest and open the door to
- 35:38every species of fraud and injustice.
- 35:42Can you? And I mean, in one short
- 35:44sentence, think of anything that could have been written stronger
- 35:49against paper money. Paper money has had the effect
- 35:51in your state that it will, that it will ever have to ruin
- 35:54commerce. Thomas Jefferson said this.
- 35:57OK, it's working. Thomas Jefferson, my friend, it
- 36:01is working. OK.
- 36:03Ruin commerce, oppress the honest and open the door to
- 36:06every species of fraud and injustice.
- 36:10That, my friends, absolutely says it all.
- 36:13The other big news. Hey, Brian, thank you.
- 36:15Great job, Ron. Hold on here.
- 36:20FSM current price. All right.
- 36:22Yes, Fortuna. Fortuna Mining.
- 36:25Right there they are right there.
- 36:27Channel sponsor. Thank you, Brian.
- 36:29OK, I appreciate the Super chat, my friend.
- 36:32Absolutely, absolutely. The other big breaking news that
- 36:35we had, and I don't know, let's go, let's go out, let's do our
- 36:39check, right, 'cause we always say if the price keeps going up,
- 36:41we'll keep going back to the pin backs website to see.
- 36:45All right, let's take our blood pressure medicine.
- 36:47Last time we checked, gold was down 1340 and we can say now
- 36:54gold's only down 8 bucks. Thank you.
- 36:58All right, maybe we'll come back again.
- 36:59Silver $31.20. But the big news, right?
- 37:04Oh my gosh, guys, gold, the last time this happened, I want you
- 37:07to look, oh, do I have you guys up?
- 37:10Yes, I do. I want you to look at that down
- 37:13$8. I want you to put a zero after
- 37:16that down $80.00 because the last time this happened and it
- 37:20was only, I don't know, I guess 4 weeks, 5 weeks ago, a month
- 37:24ago, that's what happened. They used it as an excuse to
- 37:28murder the gold price. And that was this.
- 37:31We're gonna go all the way to our friends.
- 37:35And in London, the economic time midline, the central bank
- 37:40refrains from gold purchases for second month.
- 37:43So last month was the first time that they said that in May, the
- 37:48Chinese central bank had not bought any gold and they crushed
- 37:50the gold price. Remember that.
- 37:52It was a horrible day. I think I talked about this last
- 37:54night, but they also on that same day destroyed the silver
- 37:58price, which made no sense, right?
- 38:00Made absolutely no sense. I think I got a couple things I
- 38:03want to show you here. It says Quartered appears the
- 38:07gold price remains a little too high for the People's Bank of
- 38:11China and they're waiting for further pull back before
- 38:14resuming their gold purchasing program, said Nitesh Shah,
- 38:18commodity strategist with Wisdom Tree.
- 38:21But there was something else in here.
- 38:23Hold on, here we go. There's a little more meat on
- 38:26the bone. Guys.
- 38:28This this guy says our models indicate that we may get a 7%
- 38:32pull back in the gold price this quarter.
- 38:35That would be now right? July, August, September, setting
- 38:39up a perfect opportunity for the People's Bank of China to
- 38:41acquire more gold, said Shaw. But it will have to be quick as
- 38:46the metal is likely to rally to all time highs once again
- 38:51shortly thereafter. And Yep, that was it.
- 38:56OK, So China Central Bank, Oh my gosh.
- 38:59Well, maybe because the Chinese people are buying all the gold,
- 39:02right? I mean, come on, let's be real
- 39:04here. Maybe the Indian people are
- 39:08buying all the gold. One of those countries that I
- 39:10think they had like a 68% increase in gold mine year over
- 39:14year. So we're not so concerned about
- 39:16what the P Bock is doing. Yes, right.
- 39:19It's a big deal. Central banks are buying gold
- 39:22throughout the world. Period.
- 39:23OK, let's talk about silver. You want more good news on
- 39:27silver? I know I talk about it every
- 39:30day, but we never get sick of it, do we?
- 39:33Basement dwellers? Every time we turn around, we're
- 39:36hearing about more silver being needed for solar farms.
- 39:40And then we get this right. New breaking news right from our
- 39:44friend Mark Big Mark S friend of the basement Yahoo news
- 39:48developer of utility scale silver solar Remember when we
- 39:54don't just say solar, we say solar.
- 39:56Silver projects announces major agreement with meta, whose meta
- 40:02Meta is the company that's Facebook that owns Facebook.
- 40:06These projects for meta put us on the map.
- 40:08So now we've got a. When Meta, the parent company of
- 40:14Facebook, inked the deal Adapter renewables to buy 330 megawatts
- 40:18of solar power power from three utility scale solar farms last
- 40:23year, two in Illinois, one in Arkansas, it jump started.
- 40:26OK, these projects for Meta put us on the map, says the guy that
- 40:30runs the company. What is that?
- 40:32Hold on. OK, I don't know.
- 40:35There we go. That's how I get rid of that.
- 40:37So basically, and it says down here, the deal with the Damsher
- 40:42is part of Meta's strategy to reach net zero pollution across
- 40:46its value chain, vice president of origination for the solar
- 40:52company said. So these big tech companies are
- 40:55using more and more and more electricity.
- 41:00It's crazy guys, right? And they're also wanting to,
- 41:04they, they build these, these data centers out in the middle
- 41:07of nowhere, right? And how do you get electricity
- 41:10to the middle of nowhere? Well, I got an idea, right?
- 41:12You build a solar farm close by and it's easy to transmit the
- 41:16electricity. That's what they're doing in
- 41:18China. That's what they're doing it in
- 41:19China and India. They're building solar farms
- 41:21that are, that are bigger than the city of Paris, bigger than
- 41:24the city of New York, NY City, right?
- 41:27You've seen the pictures. They're not solar farms.
- 41:30They're solar silver farms. Because you can look at each one
- 41:33of those panels and, and envision that as being roughly
- 41:38about a one ounce or a two third ounce bar of silver.
- 41:41And it'll be more in the future because the new, the new, the
- 41:45new technology in solar is using even more silver.
- 41:49OK, now who would have guessed it?
- 41:53Do you believe? I have a question for you,
- 41:55basement dweller. Do you believe that there were
- 41:57times in history when silver was actually more valuable than
- 42:02gold? Do you believe that?
- 42:06I mean we know right now the gold to silver ratio, it takes
- 42:09about we're just going to say about 80 ish ounces of silver to
- 42:13buy one ounce of gold. But we know that in recent
- 42:16history that let that number's gotten down as low as what
- 42:1915/20/25. I think if we look at the recent
- 42:23let's say 5000 year average, it's averaged more around 50 or
- 42:2760 ish silver. So undervalue.
- 42:30But let's just quickly run out here.
- 42:33I want to show you this came from LinkedIn, of all places.
- 42:38OK? From a guy named Adam O'Neill,
- 42:40Right? When was silver worth more than
- 42:43gold? There were.
- 42:45OK, you probably always thought gold is the king of monetary
- 42:48metals and silver is the poor man's gold, right?
- 42:52But what if I told you there was a time when silver outshined it?
- 42:55Shocking. Yes, we're shocked.
- 42:57Adam, give us some data. There were indeed times in
- 43:00history when silver was worth more than gold.
- 43:02We will explore this subject by covering the following points.
- 43:06And we already have gone through so many of these guys.
- 43:08We're just gonna cover this one. Silver worth more than gold.
- 43:11A historical perspective. OK.
- 43:16In ancient Rome, for instance. Ancient Rome, for instance,
- 43:20experienced a brief period when silver was more valuable than
- 43:24gold after acquiring large amounts of gold plunder in the
- 43:2819th century. Japan.
- 43:31I believe that would have been the 1800s guys.
- 43:34Japan sought silver so eagerly that they exchanged gold for
- 43:39silver at a rate of one to three.
- 43:43OK. The Sudan Arabs preferred silver
- 43:46to gold, suggesting a higher value for silver in their
- 43:49society. The Old Kingdom Egyptians
- 43:52considered silver to be rare and therefore more valuable than
- 43:55gold. The point here is, guys, is that
- 43:59here, listen to this. Sir William Ridgeway.
- 44:01What do you say we highlight this together, Basement
- 44:04dwellers? All right, let's do that, and
- 44:07we'll do it in. What the heck?
- 44:11I don't know what's going on there.
- 44:13Hold on here. Welcome to the basement.
- 44:16I'm so glad you're here right now.
- 44:18OK, super simple highlighter. What do you say we do that in
- 44:21Cayenne, which is another way to say light blue?
- 44:23Sir William Ridgeway, in his book The Origin of Metallic
- 44:26Currency and Weight Standards, pointed out that silver must
- 44:30have been of higher value than gold at some point in all
- 44:33countries. However, as silver production
- 44:36increased, its value became equal to that of gold and
- 44:39eventually must much less valuable.
- 44:41I want you to think about that for a second.
- 44:44Think about that for a second, because we know now, right?
- 44:47So there's times in history when silver is more valuable than
- 44:51gold. Check.
- 44:52OK, I, I, I love gold. Don't get me wrong.
- 44:55You know, I own a ton of gold mining stocks, absolutely love
- 44:59gold. I'm a silver stacker.
- 45:01I'm just, I'm, I'm a don't please don't don't unsubscribe,
- 45:06Please subscribe. Please give this a thumbs up.
- 45:08But I'll be honest with you, when it comes to pretty, you put
- 45:12a gold coin and a silver coin in front of me.
- 45:14I prefer the silver, right? And apparently other people in
- 45:18history did as well, right? And the other, the other thing,
- 45:21the other thing that we and I know, look, you put a gold coin
- 45:24and a silver coin in front of me and say I can have either one.
- 45:27Even though I may think the silver's prettier, I'm still
- 45:30going to take your gold coin because it's worth right now
- 45:35measured in Unicorn fart dust Fiat paper.
- 45:38Here comes a piece. Oh, it's floating around.
- 45:40I can't keep this stuff from flying around the basement.
- 45:43It's just nothing, right? Right, because, because, and
- 45:46when you measure it right now in in in Fiat dollar right, that
- 45:51silver is what, 80 * 76 times whatever the gold and silver
- 45:55ratio's more valuable. But I would think if I'm just
- 45:58being honest engine with you, I would I would tell you that I
- 46:02think the silver is more beautiful.
- 46:04But the what's hidden in that article, right?
- 46:07A lot of times it wasn't just the perception of beauty.
- 46:11It was the supply and the demand of silver.
- 46:14And go think about this guys that dictated these periods
- 46:18where silver became more valuable than gold.
- 46:21And aren't we, I, I know John Little last time, and if I'm
- 46:24wrong, John, correct me, but I believe John Little, the last
- 46:28time I talked to him, pointed the fact out that there's
- 46:30actually more above ground gold right now in the world than
- 46:35there is more above ground silver.
- 46:37Now, all the gold is because most gold never gets consumed,
- 46:40right. It gets stored either in jewelry
- 46:43or bars or coins. Whereas silver, as we know, or
- 46:46have you heard silver's being consumed?
- 46:49Yeah, It's being put in all those solar panels.
- 46:51I think we covered that already, didn't we?
- 46:53Basement dwellers, I mean, so the above ground amount of gold
- 46:56is more than that of silver. And right right now the mining
- 47:02ratio, this is crazy. For each one ounce of gold
- 47:06that's that's mined in the world, right, there's only 7
- 47:10ounces of silver, right? So the really and then that
- 47:14silver is being consumed. I mean really like as you, we
- 47:19could say conservatively 7 to one.
- 47:22What would that be? Hold on, let's pull out the
- 47:24calculator here. I'm just just for fun, right?
- 47:29And I'm not saying don't make any financial decisions.
- 47:32Hold on here, guys, are you with me?
- 47:34And you're not even with me here.
- 47:36Now you're with me. Let's do a let's do an update.
- 47:39Please be up. Please be up.
- 47:41OK, Gold down 11, silver 3120, let's say, and let's figure out
- 47:47it it's 7 to one what the silver price would be.
- 47:52OK, 3120 divided 3100. I'm sorry, what am I saying
- 47:58here? 2000, the gold price $2375.00 /
- 48:077. You're not going to believe it.
- 48:10That would be a $340 silver price right now.
- 48:15And that's just based on the ratio at which it's being mined
- 48:19and coming out of the ground. We're not even going to factor
- 48:22in that of that 7 oz for of silver for each one ounce of
- 48:26gold. A lot of those 7 ounces are
- 48:30being are being consumed, right? What half of it at least?
- 48:35So I don't know guys, to me, the the the and I love gold. yo-yo,
- 48:41go gold right, Let's root for gold.
- 48:43You know, hey, let's root for a Green Day in the medals today.
