- 0:00it's laced up let's go it's time for banter with
- 0:04the boys welcome back yo yo yo banter with the
- 0:18boys gridiron updates yeah just all rusty out
- 0:21here knocking it off you know what it is it's
- 0:24over it's what's over The Vikings season? Yeah,
- 0:27we know. No, it's not. Nine's back. Stop. He's
- 0:31back, baby. The whole nine thing? Come on, stop.
- 0:33He's back. Stop. Oh, my God. Anyway, anyway,
- 0:35I'm Smelty. I'm here with, of course, our co
- 0:38-host here, Rob. Roberto. Roberto. I'm sorry.
- 0:41That's right. That's your new personality. Yeah,
- 0:42it depends on the day. Oh, you got different
- 0:45personalities every day. Either way. Fair enough.
- 0:48Jake. Jake is also back with us. Thanks for...
- 0:51Literally all season long, just been filling
- 0:52in on a whim. The other purple. Short notice
- 0:55all the time. I'm just so lonely. No, that's
- 0:58not the case. Staring at what draft pick you're
- 1:01going to get. A really good one. I know, we all
- 1:05are. We're competing. Anyway. And then, oh yeah,
- 1:10Kev, behind the scenes, obviously, getting everything
- 1:12done as always. Without further ado, let's head
- 1:15right into our Week 13 Game Recaps. Yo, we're
- 1:28back here for our week 13 game recaps. We're
- 1:32starting with our Minnesota Vikings. Well, a
- 1:34couple of ours, Minnesota Vikings. Yes. And then
- 1:37playing the Seachickens. It didn't go well. It
- 1:39didn't go well. Seachickens won. Seahawks, sorry.
- 1:4126 -0. Force of habit. But first, before Roberto
- 1:47and I. Give our takes here as Vikings fans. Jake,
- 1:53did you catch any of this one? Yeah, I caught
- 1:56a lot of it. Enough to know? Yeah. What's your
- 1:58opinion? Yeah, we got to know. We learned that
- 2:00Brosman's not the answer. Brosman's just not
- 2:04ready. Oh, sure. How do you get through a fastball,
- 2:07though? He can. But to say that, oh, it's because
- 2:11he's reading it too fast. Stop. And J .J. McCarthy's
- 2:14reading it too slow. I don't know, bro. But,
- 2:16yeah, it was not good. But anyway, go on. He
- 2:18was just all over the place. Yeah, got to take
- 2:21that sack. Seattle's defense was playing pretty
- 2:24solid. Vikings' defense was really good, too,
- 2:27in that first half. You look at the score, you're
- 2:29like, how could anybody say the Vikings' defense
- 2:31played well? Well, then you just didn't watch
- 2:32the game, obviously. Yeah, the Vikings' defense,
- 2:36damn, just finally gave way. Yeah, I mean, you
- 2:38can't blame them. Vikings also, I think, held
- 2:41Sam Darnold to his lowest passer rating of the
- 2:43season. Yeah, and JSN had like 22 yards. And
- 2:47didn't have a catch until at least late third,
- 2:49I think it was. I mean, him and Jeddas didn't
- 2:52have anything in the first half, which just seems
- 2:53wild for a game like that. Yes, even with Brosmer
- 2:56at quarterback. But he did throw a touchdown.
- 2:58Just to the wrong color jersey. Yeah, that doesn't
- 3:01count. Yeah, right on. But he already got his
- 3:05first touchdown on the way, so it's fine. Anyway,
- 3:08Rob, what? I mean, other than the obvious that
- 3:12the offense is broken. Yeah, obviously. I'm excited
- 3:14to see nine back officially coming back this
- 3:17week. You kind of see what a rookie quarterback
- 3:19looks like in the NFL when everything's sped
- 3:21up. He was inaccurate as heck. Why did we go
- 3:26away from the running game so early? Well, we
- 3:27couldn't really establish, really, the running
- 3:29game. I mean, I think that's the pass -happy
- 3:32offense of the NFL. They won't try again. If
- 3:37they fail once, then it's like, all right, can
- 3:39that. And I hear you. And it is pass -happy NFL,
- 3:42obviously. We've got a pass -happy coach, obviously.
- 3:44He played quarterback in the NFL. What do you
- 3:45think we're going to do, right? But it's like,
- 3:47bleh. I feel like they set Brousmer up for failure
- 3:51a little bit by trying to go away from it too
- 3:53early. Yes, he missed some throws, too, for sure.
- 3:55And they're trying to get the dink and dunk game
- 3:57going. And there's that old saying that a backup
- 4:01quarterback's best friend is a strong running
- 4:04game or a good running game. For sure. So going
- 4:08away from it early, the game was well within
- 4:10reach through the entire first half. For a good
- 4:12chunk of the game. Two -thirds of the game. I
- 4:15just think the run wasn't there. It wasn't there,
- 4:17but even if it's not there, it doesn't mean it's
- 4:19not going to be there later. I agree. Mason still
- 4:23somehow squeaked out 47 yards, but most of that
- 4:26is one long run. Aaron Jones, though, the starter,
- 4:29had six carries for three yards, so that's telling
- 4:31you they're second and nine. But he was serviceable
- 4:35in the receiving game, at least, at that point,
- 4:37which is why I like Aaron Jones in the game.
- 4:39You're 100 % right. Our starter only went for
- 4:41three yards on six attempts. But I just feel
- 4:44like undrafted third -string quarterback. You're
- 4:50putting the game in his hands in a hostile environment.
- 4:56Yeah, that front forward that played Demarcus
- 5:00Lawrence on that pass out to Aaron Jones, chased
- 5:04him down, knocked it out. From the back, yeah.
- 5:06All hustle. That's an athletic play. Yeah. And
- 5:09let's talk about the Seahawks quick because we
- 5:10got about one minute here. Absolutely dominating,
- 5:14you know, as far as the defense goes. But the
- 5:16offense, they also have some offensive woes.
- 5:20Now, I really like, oh, what's his name? I should
- 5:22know his name. JSN? Michigan State. No, running
- 5:25back, Walker. Walker. Yeah, Kenneth. There we
- 5:27go. Kenneth. Or third. I just appreciate how
- 5:32patient of a running back he is. So I'd like
- 5:36to see him continue to improve here the rest
- 5:40of this season because I think he's going to
- 5:43be a real big factor if they can actually win
- 5:45the NFC West and make a run. I mean, I still
- 5:49think Charbonnet is the better back in that backfield
- 5:51overall. Oh, really? Oh, for sure. I mean, he's
- 5:54their goal linebacker. You know, he's smaller.
- 5:57Sure. I mean, that just shows you the skill set
- 5:59of him. For Seattle, I mean, I'm going to give
- 6:01credit to the Vikings' defense that made Sam
- 6:03Darnold. They knew all his first reads, and so
- 6:05they made him, like, you could see him going
- 6:08from read to read, and we got enough pressure
- 6:10on him, and he just made it. And then once we
- 6:12started hitting him a few times, he didn't want
- 6:14the ball for very long. So the Vikings got credit
- 6:16for that. I was just looking at it. Seattle's
- 6:18they got Falcons Colts Rams their next three
- 6:21games you know for them you know to try to win
- 6:25that division over there so they should be pretty
- 6:27good yeah all right fair enough fair enough we
- 6:30got to move on though we got next game up here
- 6:33is the Falcons traveling to the Jets with a game
- 6:37that I'm pretty sure we all thought the Falcons
- 6:39were going to get the win here. Oh, yeah. They
- 6:41did not do such things. Although, I will say
- 6:44that offensively, the Falcons really didn't look
- 6:46that bad. No. You know, it was really their specialty.
- 6:48They did everything I expected them to do, is,
- 6:52like, give Bijan the ball. He had, like, 200
- 6:55total yards. Yeah, I think you're right. They
- 6:59listened to us, finally. Yeah, I know. Finally.
- 7:01Geez. Every week. And Kirk Cousins did enough
- 7:05to win a game, really. I mean, didn't turn the
- 7:09ball over. Only took two sacks. Yeah. But the
- 7:12special teams killed them. Yeah, the special
- 7:14teams. Their play calls in the fourth quarter
- 7:18in that final two minutes, I think, was kind
- 7:20of questionable, too. They're, what, last possession,
- 7:25three consecutive passes, killing the clock.
- 7:28All incompletes. Yeah, there's a few drop passes.
- 7:31You're giving the Jets an opportunity there.
- 7:34And B. John had been killing it all day. Just
- 7:37keep giving it to him. And he just moved away
- 7:40from it again. Just keep feeding him. Keep feeding
- 7:43him. That's a happy NFL. Algier, whatever. Yeah,
- 7:46he got a touchdown, too. That's what I thought.
- 7:48Yeah. Yeah, that's a good one. Two pucks there.
- 7:50Yeah, and Tyrod Taylor playing a decent game
- 7:52for the old Jets. That guy's still doing a fantasy,
- 7:55especially in super flex. They brought up his
- 7:58name as a possibility as a guy you should pick
- 8:01up right now. So, I mean, it's bottom of the
- 8:03barrel point at fantasy football if you're super
- 8:05flex. But side note. Adani Mitchell, you know,
- 8:08going for 102 yards. Yeah, he's been a nice in
- 8:10that trade scenario. Yeah, good addition. Absolutely.
- 8:13So, do you still, is Brees Hall going to be in
- 8:16a Jets uniform next year? Probably not. Is he
- 8:19under contract for one more, isn't he? I thought
- 8:22he could be traded, or is he going to be? Or
- 8:23is this his fifth year? Was he your first rounder?
- 8:26He was at least his third or fourth. We were
- 8:30just guessing here. Sorry. Let me see here. His
- 8:33second round pick in 22. So he's maxed four years.
- 8:38So he'd be a free agent after. One more. Yeah.
- 8:41One more. Yeah. But he doesn't want to get a
- 8:44deal. No. Yeah. So you expect him to hold out.
- 8:47Does he have the power to really hold out? I
- 8:48mean, he's had a decent start to his career,
- 8:51but he can't stay healthy. Right. You know? So
- 8:54I don't know if you hold out or not. I mean,
- 8:56I think somebody will pick him up. He'd look
- 8:58real nice in a Vikings uniform. Listen. There
- 9:01was a bunch of talk about him getting traded
- 9:03to the Chiefs. Yeah. Before trade deadline. I
- 9:05would not like. Just. What, next year or the
- 9:08offseason? No, like before the trade deadline.
- 9:11Oh, I get what you're saying. Okay, okay. Well,
- 9:15Breeze might be available, you know. Plenty of
- 9:18rumors out there, plenty of rumors out there.
- 9:19Jets, though, getting the dub. 3 -9 they are
- 9:22now. Yeah, 3 -9. Only one win behind the Vikes.
- 9:25Yeah, they're being really competitive. Glenn
- 9:27Taylor's, we're seeing Glenn Taylor build that
- 9:30culture over time. Glenn? Glenn. Aaron Glenn.
- 9:34Why did I put Taylor? Anyway, you're good. I
- 9:36got one of them right. Yeah, you sure did. Tyrod
- 9:41Taylor. Tyrod Taylor, okay. Yeah, but trying
- 9:43to build that culture where they're the bottom
- 9:47of the league. What do they have to play for?
- 9:49Everyone's against us. Yeah. I mean, three wins
- 9:52in their last five. Yeah, they're being competitive.
- 9:55They went toe -to -toe against the Ravens. Somewhat
- 9:58competitive game. Yeah. You know, with the Ravens,
- 10:00somewhat competitive game against the Patriots.
- 10:02I was an L. But you beat the Browns, who we thought
- 10:05were going to be better. You beat the Bengals
- 10:06by one, but you beat them. You know what I mean?
- 10:09Win's a win, baby. Win's a win. Win's a win.
- 10:12With that here, let's move on to our next game.
- 10:15Another really competitive game here. The Texans
- 10:18traveling to Indianapolis. I'm starting to think
- 10:24who I even picked in this game. I feel like I
- 10:25picked Indy in this game. I think you picked
- 10:28all of the wrong ones. Yeah. I might have went
- 10:30all in five. I think I didn't update that this
- 10:33week. Not that I was keeping track, but I went
- 10:34four in one. I'm trying to let you guys catch
- 10:36up. Jake went four in one. Oh. I mean, not as
- 10:40good as 0 -5. Because I'm pretty sure you picked
- 10:43opposite of me for everything. So maybe you went
- 10:461 -4. Okay. Oh, there you go. There's hope. There's
- 10:49hope yet. There's hope yet. Chip and a chair.
- 10:51Chip and a chair. Oh, there it is. Anyway, Houston
- 10:55getting the win, 20 -16 as they travel to Indianapolis.
- 10:58And this was a pretty hard -fought game all the
- 11:01way through. Was this C .J. Stroud's first game
- 11:04back from concussion? Yeah. Not horrible. Yeah,
- 11:08he's got the one pick. But all in all, I mean,
- 11:11after missing a number of weeks, I'll take it.
- 11:13You know what I mean? Ended up squeaking out
- 11:15the win. There was a win they needed to stay
- 11:19in contention of winning this division here.
- 11:22So, yeah, it was kind of a boring game, actually.
- 11:25That's another close division. Yeah. I mean,
- 11:29the Colts really – so, okay, sorry. Let's stay
- 11:32on the Texans real quick. I mean, Woody Marks
- 11:33coming out again, having an okay day. I like
- 11:36seeing Chubb get back in the end zone on a nice
- 11:38aggressive run, too, taking the guy to the corner.
- 11:40So, I don't know. It's trending in the right
- 11:44direction for the Texans. I mean, both teams
- 11:46really had big defensive stops late in that game,
- 11:51like huge defensive stops for both defenses.
- 11:54I know you say it's a boring game. I think it
- 11:57was just a real defensive game, you know, which
- 11:58can be boring. But, you know. When you have fancy
- 12:02football guys, you want scoring. Fair enough,
- 12:05fair enough. But on the other side of things,
- 12:07you know, the Colts holding JT underneath, you
- 12:11know, 100 yards on the ground at least and making
- 12:13them work for it at that four yards on average.
- 12:17That Texas defense, no joke. It just felt right.
- 12:20But it also felt like the Colts offense just
- 12:23couldn't execute. Kind of similar to the Vikings.
- 12:25Kind of similar to what we're about to talk about
- 12:27with the Steelers. It's just like... These offenses
- 12:30just couldn't execute. I mean, three out of ten
- 12:32on third downs. I think that was kind of the
- 12:34glaring thing that I looked at. But, I mean,
- 12:36both teams were under 50 % on third zone. So
- 12:38that's why I consider it kind of a boring game
- 12:40when your teams aren't kind of executing. Yeah,
- 12:42going three and out. And then there was a ton
- 12:44of penalties in this game, 14 total. So that's
- 12:47why I was kind of sloppy, boring is what I mean.
- 12:50Just a lot of mistakes that at this time of year
- 12:53you typically don't see. But big win for the
- 12:56Texans. Colts, you know, slowly coming back.
- 12:58to the pack a little bit as we, you know, they
- 13:01did have one of the easier schedules. And they
- 13:04do got a big game coming up this weekend as well.
- 13:06Another big test for them. We may be talking
- 13:09about that later. Yeah, you should probably tune
- 13:12in to the preview show as well. Geez, if you
- 13:13look at the rest of their schedule. No. It goes
- 13:16Jaguars, Seattle, 49ers, Jaguars again, and then
- 13:20Texans. And if the Jaguars are that real. There's
- 13:23no easy one in there. Yeah, it's going to be
- 13:25tough. But if they can come, okay, one, two,
- 13:28three, four, five. But I was saying last week,
- 13:30who have they beat? A bunch of below 500 teams.
- 13:34I mean, do we say eight, nine? Do they finish
- 13:36eight? I mean, they beat the Chargers. They have,
- 13:39like, two wins against teams. They beat the Broncos
- 13:42by one, and that was week two. Yeah. And then
- 13:45they beat the crap out of the Dolphins to start
- 13:47the season. But everything else, all the other
- 13:50wins are, like. combined five wins maybe. I mean,
- 13:53not a lot. Yeah. Not a lot. Yeah, I mean. So,
- 13:56yeah, I mean, the back half, the back last five,
- 13:59the last five here will be a big test for them.
- 14:01If they can at least win three of five, I think
- 14:03they win the division. I mean, obviously because
- 14:05there's three freaking division games right there,
- 14:07but I'm not saying they have to win all of those,
- 14:09but I think they could do it. So if they win
- 14:11half of them and they go. Are you in half of
- 14:16five games? Well, you know, two and a half. Three
- 14:18or two. You want them to win two or three. Yeah,
- 14:20or a tie. Oh, my. Shut up. Just ruin the whole
- 14:24thing. There should be no ties in the NFL. That
- 14:26is BS. And there should be no sliding either.
- 14:29That's stupid. So they go ten and seven. So they
- 14:32win two. Let's say they just win two more and
- 14:33they go ten and seven. Do we think they still
- 14:36make the playoffs? Playoffs? No. What? But as
- 14:40a wildcard team and not actually as a division
- 14:44leader? Probably. Oh, man. And do we talk about
- 14:49how maybe the AFC South has three teams represented
- 14:53in the playoffs? Which is not something I would
- 14:56have had on my bingo card to start the season.
- 14:58I'm just looking at the Jaguars' schedule real
- 15:00quick because I don't think the Texans can catch
- 15:02up. Yes, they're only one game back. I think
- 15:04the Texans could catch up. So do you think the
- 15:07Texans will win the division? Like right now,
- 15:08stating right now, with everything, the way it's
- 15:10set right now, you think the Texans win the division?
- 15:12Yes, I do. See, I'm sticking with the Jags on
- 15:16this one. I think the Jags will pull it off.
- 15:20I think the Colts will choke a little bit. I
- 15:21mean, two battles between those two teams coming
- 15:24up. That's right. Those are going to be great
- 15:25games. I know. Ooh, Jake's still got to play
- 15:28Denver at Denver. That's a L. Anyway, all right,
- 15:32let's move on. What do we got next? Oh, yeah,
- 15:35yeah. It's the Bills taking on the Steelers.
- 15:38The Bills getting the better of the Steelers
- 15:40here by far, 26 -7. Kind of like how we were
- 15:45just talking about with the Colts. It just kind
- 15:47of looked like the Steelers' offense could not
- 15:49execute worth anything. Aaron Rodgers came out
- 15:51and was saying receivers need to show up for
- 15:53film study and blah, blah, blah. Are the Steelers
- 16:00on a downward spiral right now as the season's
- 16:03coming to a close? You don't think so? No, I
- 16:08don't. Slight anomaly? Obviously, as the Ravens
- 16:12fan. Well, he's an AFC North person. He's going
- 16:16to back them up like we back up the Lions and
- 16:18Packers like idiots. Hold on. Don't groove me
- 16:22into that. The Steelers fan base was chanting
- 16:25fire Tomlin at the end of the game. I think that
- 16:29that's a mistake, but if they want to get rid
- 16:31of Tomlin and bring in a lesser coach and bring
- 16:34the team down, I'm all for that. There we go.
- 16:37There's a Ravens fan coming back. Go ahead and
- 16:40do it. Pittsburgh's dumb is what you're saying
- 16:42to all their fans. Don't get rid of them. You
- 16:44hear that, guys? I forget. Did they have their
- 16:47first 500 season last year? No, that's right.
- 16:49They ended up pulling it off. And they're 500
- 16:51right now, right? No. They just fell to 6 -6,
- 16:54right? Yeah, they're at 500. And who do they
- 16:57got? They got Ravens, obviously. They got Ravens
- 17:00twice. Check out the preview show. And then Dolphins.
- 17:04And at Detroit, man, that's a toughie. Football's
- 17:08getting good. Boys and girls. That defense is
- 17:12going to continue to travel and play well. I
- 17:15mean, the Bills ran all over them. But that's
- 17:18my problem. And historically, we're used to the
- 17:21Pittsburgh Steelers' defense just It's the steel
- 17:24wall, you know, stone wall and everybody. But
- 17:25James Cook went crazy. I know. But still, you
- 17:29get that vibe from the Steelers any time. At
- 17:31least in my lifetime. Maybe the defense is just
- 17:34like, all right, let's just throw away the tape.
- 17:36We sucked. We know it. You think you just don't
- 17:38even watch that game. Because we know we're better
- 17:41than this. And it's just a check of, hey, who
- 17:46are we as a team? They were bad on both sides
- 17:48of the wall. Yeah. Well, that Bosa sack in the...
- 17:51Huge, huge. That was the Momo shifter. You know
- 17:55what I mean? Yeah. Shifter, changer, changer.
- 17:57Scoop and score. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Momo. Changer.
- 18:02Momo. Strip sack. Really changed the whole outcome
- 18:06of the game. I hate that strip sack. I don't
- 18:09feel like Aaron played well after that. No. That
- 18:12wrist was... I imagine that wrist was just bugging
- 18:15him. I mean, playing like Sam Darnold did, he
- 18:18was just scared. The Bills held him to 160 -some
- 18:22-odd offensive yards. That's crazy low with some
- 18:25of the weapons you have on that offense, including
- 18:27Rodgers, you know what I mean? So, I don't know.
- 18:31The Bills came out after half and just... Did
- 18:33not look back. They were trailing 7 -3 at half,
- 18:35I believe, and came out and put up, what was
- 18:37it, 23 unanswered? 19. Unbelievable. A whole
- 18:40bunch of points. And we got Josh Allen now, the
- 18:44all -time leading touchdown runner for quarterbacks.
- 18:48Oh, yeah, passing Cam Newton. Yeah, that's right.
- 18:51That's right. So does that mean since Cam wants
- 18:54to be in the Hall of Fame. I don't want to talk
- 18:56about that right now. That's a different conversation.
- 18:58No, I mean I do, but not right now. And then
- 19:01does that mean that Josh Allen should be in the
- 19:03Hall of Fame if he doesn't win a Super Bowl?
- 19:05Yeah, there's tons of really good quarterbacks.
- 19:09How many MVPs does Josh Allen have? Two? Just
- 19:11the one. Just the one? Okay. Really? How many
- 19:14quarterbacks that have not won a Super Bowl are
- 19:18in the Super Bowl? Oh, we're going to go down
- 19:19a rabbit hole here. Well, I'll give you one right
- 19:22off the top of my head, Dan Marino. Well, yeah,
- 19:25true. He said Adolfo, right? Yeah, I guess. True,
- 19:27true. Okay. Yeah, okay. I could see Josh Allen.
- 19:31Okay. They got to a Super Bowl, didn't they?
- 19:34Who? Marino, yeah. In his rookie year. His rookie
- 19:37year, his second year, something like that. And,
- 19:38yeah, they lost. Lace is out, Dan. Yeah. I just
- 19:44watched that movie not that long ago. Anyway,
- 19:47all right. What are we doing here? Should we
- 19:49move on? We should move on. Yeah, anyway. Go
- 19:52Pittsburgh. Bills beat the crap out of the Steelers.
- 19:53It's fine. Thanks for the W. Jake says, Steelers
- 19:56fans, don't worry. You're going to regroup. Don't
- 19:57fire Tomlin. Shut up. Great summary. Yep, there
- 20:01it is. All right. Who do we got? Kansas City
- 20:04traveling to Dallas. Dallas getting the win,
- 20:08by the way, 31 -28. What a game. I did not see
- 20:12this coming. Oh, my goodness. This was probably
- 20:14one of the best games of the week. I can't believe
- 20:18these words are going to come out of my mouth.
- 20:20I'm kind of excited to see what Dallas does because
- 20:23they're on a minor tear right now. Three games,
- 20:27I think. Three games. including the last two
- 20:31teams that are in the Super Bowl. So it's just
- 20:33like, does Dallas go on a tear here? They play
- 20:36at Detroit. They go play the Vikings. They're
- 20:39going to smoke them. They're going to go play
- 20:41the Chargers. They could beat the Chargers, maybe.
- 20:44I don't know. That's a toughie for me. Well,
- 20:46Herbert, doesn't Herbert have your shirt on today?
- 20:50And then at Washington with Jade and Daniel Liss.
- 20:54Liss. And then at. the New York Giants. That
- 20:56doesn't even count. Jaden Daniels could be back
- 20:59for that. They're already talking about it. Is
- 21:01he going to be 100 % though? There's talks that
- 21:06he could possibly play this weekend depending
- 21:07on how practice goes for him. That's right. We're
- 21:10talking about practice. He's not going to play
- 21:12this weekend. But anyway, I'm... Again, I can't
- 21:16believe I'm saying it, but I'm kind of excited
- 21:17for the Dallas Cowboys right now. You've said
- 21:19it twice now. I know. I know. The vibes feel
- 21:23good, though. You know what I mean? I mean, that
- 21:24was a good win. I mean, they're cooking right
- 21:25now. Yes, the Chiefs are kind of down right now,
- 21:28but the Chiefs were very much in that game. Patrick
- 21:30Mahomes was doing Patrick Mahomes things. Yeah.
- 21:33I mean, again, that whole offense looked great
- 21:35for Kansas City. So even at 6 -6, do they even
- 21:38have a shot at wild cards still? Probably. For
- 21:41sure they do. I mean, there's five games left.
- 21:43Yeah, they're in those. They've got a bunch of
- 21:46division games. I mean, that's where they're
- 21:48going to have to make the playoffs. Yeah, yikes.
- 21:50They play the Texans, the Chargers, and then
- 21:53Titans, Broncos, and then Raiders. So there's
- 21:56at least two wins there for them with the Titans
- 21:57and Raiders. So say they go 2 -1 on the hard
- 21:59games, that puts them at what? 10 -7. That's
- 22:04in the playoffs, right? Yeah. As we just stated
- 22:07for the Colts, who we're also thinking might
- 22:09go 10 -7. The Colts have a tiebreaker over the
- 22:12Chiefs, though. Ooh. Come back and bite you.
- 22:17But anyway, that Dallas offense seems to really
- 22:21be hitting its stride now. So it's, yeah. Mercedes
- 22:23catching the ball now. Yeah, he left the dropsies
- 22:26at home. Good for him. Yeah, he did. 100 yards
- 22:28and a touch. Make a mental note for fantasy football
- 22:31next year. If you're a Cowboys wide receiver
- 22:33with the number 88, you should be playing them.
- 22:38Yeah. I mean, hopefully he was drafted in the
- 22:41first round. His performance on Thursday just
- 22:44kind of reminded me of that streak of Thanksgiving
- 22:46games that Des Bryant had. Oh, okay. Fair enough.
- 22:51And Michael Irvin. I see what you're saying.
- 22:52It's the 88. It's coming. Fair enough. That's
- 22:57a Thanksgiving game. Set your reminder. There
- 22:58you go. Dak Prescott looked good for me. That's
- 23:03who I want to see succeed, Loki. That's why I
- 23:05get excited about the Cowboys. I want to see
- 23:07Dak Prescott actually make a playoff run, though,
- 23:09not just make the playoffs and lose in the first
- 23:10game. He was doing such a great job avoiding
- 23:12that rush, breaking tackles. And he was standing
- 23:15in there and taking the hits, too. I really like
- 23:18the play of Dak Prescott this game, 100%. I mean,
- 23:22he just looks like an AFL quarterback. I know,
- 23:24and he gets too much hate from me. I know he's
- 23:27a Winkler season quarterback, you know, blah,
- 23:29blah, blah. Damn, am I a Cowboys fan? No, I'm
- 23:32definitely not. But he just gets too much hate.
- 23:34He's had MVP -level regular seasons, so I don't
- 23:37know. We'll see. All right. We'll see. Yeah,
- 23:40all right. All right, yep, Cowboys getting the
- 23:42win. Oh, damn, did we do five? We did five last
- 23:45week. And I'm out. I miss an episode. You guys
- 23:48just. Skip half of it. Unbelievable. I'm out
- 23:51of juice, so we need a cut to break and get a
- 23:54new one. Oh, we got to cut. Rob says we got to
- 23:55cut. So I guess that's it. That's the show. Thanks
- 23:58for being here, Jake, of course. Thanks for having
- 24:00me again. As always, Rob was also here. And then,
- 24:03you know, and he's got it. I mean, thanks for
