- 1:17Speaker 2: got put up on you man Homely nineteen keys that
- 1:19Speaker 2: sent me a ship to the God nineteen that's my brother, yeah, man,
- 1:22Speaker 2: so lute to him.
- 1:23Speaker 3: How'd y'all link up?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Man? Very organically? I think, you know, we we both
- 1:28Speaker 1: kind of operate in the same spaces, right. So he
- 1:31Speaker 1: was doing he was doing an event, you know what
- 1:34Speaker 1: I mean, and then reached out, you know, so I
- 1:36Speaker 1: pulled up and then all bond just built from there. No,
- 1:40Speaker 1: he's solid man, yeah, no, super superman man. You know
- 1:43Speaker 1: he's from Saint Louis, you know what I mean as well,
- 1:45Speaker 1: So you know, just those those origins, you know what
- 1:48Speaker 1: I mean?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Yo, how long like how long has this journey been
- 1:53Speaker 2: for you in terms of just like, like I guess
- 1:56Speaker 2: when you first started rapping, when you started to take
- 1:58Speaker 2: it serious, when you got some money, like when things
- 2:00Speaker 2: were like, oh we could. This is a thing. Now
- 2:02Speaker 2: we can actually pursue this full time. Like I'm I'm
- 2:05Speaker 2: a I'm a rephrase. I'm gonna answer I'm an rephrase
- 2:08Speaker 2: the question because I don't I'm not a rapper, but
- 2:11Speaker 2: I'm a writer, you know what I'm saying. And I
- 2:13Speaker 2: think that.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I want to bring that back to the cloth of
- 2:18Speaker 1: like artistry, right, Like I've been writing my whole life,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like I've been writing, bro,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I'm a real writer, like you know so, And I
- 2:25Speaker 1: feel like a lot of writers exist, they just don't
- 2:28Speaker 1: know there's no space to really camping in it on
- 2:29Speaker 1: the same level of rap. Right, So we're writing. I'm
- 2:32Speaker 1: writing my whole life, bro. Writing has always been a
- 2:35Speaker 1: therapy for me. You know what I'm saying, Like growing
- 2:36Speaker 1: up in the streets, Uh, you know I I grew
- 2:39Speaker 1: up in an abusive household. You hear me, So the
- 2:43Speaker 1: only way I could express myself. You know what's writing?
- 2:45Speaker 1: I grab a peanut, wrote on anything. You know what
- 2:47Speaker 1: I'm saying. So fast forward to force rapping around the neighborhood.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I was a battle rapper first. So if people hear
- 2:55Speaker 1: my music and hear like the way I punched. You
- 2:57Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like it's you know, I used
- 2:59Speaker 1: to battle rap, so uh just wrapped around the neighborhood. Yeah,
- 3:02Speaker 1: and then you know, fast forward to a lot of
- 3:05Speaker 1: Uh I had I had some I had some low
- 3:09Speaker 1: low moments in my life, So it wasn't I wouldn't
- 3:11Speaker 1: think about rapping right and there like that. It wasn't
- 3:13Speaker 1: until in high school. I used to Uh, I'm gonna say,
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you I'm a I'm finished, show how
- 3:19Speaker 1: old I am? Uh memor Ck CD. He's a print
- 3:22Speaker 1: print joints of course, you know what I'm saying. Go around.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I used to just pass them out, bro, I wrote
- 3:26Speaker 1: on the on the top of the CD. You heard
- 3:28Speaker 1: me with a marker. You know. I used to pass
- 3:30Speaker 1: them out. And in my mind at that time, I
- 3:32Speaker 1: was the best rapper alive. So uh but to the
- 3:38Speaker 1: National Spotlight. I got invite to be on BT when
- 3:40Speaker 1: I was sixty park when I was nineteen, You know
- 3:42Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 3:43Speaker 3: So was it a freestyle Friday or bro so.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Crazy?
- 3:48Speaker 3: Uh?
- 3:48Speaker 1: BT did a team violin special. I was a part
- 3:50Speaker 1: of a group at the time. You know what I mean?
- 3:52Speaker 1: And they single to be out of out of the
- 3:54Speaker 1: group because they heard my story. You know, from growing
- 3:56Speaker 1: up in Saint Louis, I started gang banking young, bro,
- 3:59Speaker 1: like super young. I got shot up when I was fifteen,
- 4:02Speaker 1: so shot twice. Yeah, I was a baby, bro. I
- 4:06Speaker 1: had just turned fifteen, you know what I mean, like
- 4:08Speaker 1: that month and I got shot and you know, I
- 4:11Speaker 1: got sent away. So it was it's a real, like
- 4:13Speaker 1: real deep story. But my life turned into something beautiful, bro,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean, just a story of triumph
- 4:21Speaker 1: and perseverance. And so BT heard that and they invited
- 4:25Speaker 1: me to come to a teen violence special, you hear me.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So they made a team. They've never done a teen
- 4:29Speaker 1: violence special ever. And this is around the same time
- 4:32Speaker 1: of police brutality was high, you know what I mean,
- 4:34Speaker 1: a lot of like you know, injustice, social social uproar.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So they brought me there to the teen violence special
- 4:41Speaker 1: on me, uh and that's what put me in national spotlight.
- 4:44Speaker 1: But they put on the TV youth activists. I didn't
- 4:46Speaker 1: even know what the activist was, right, So, but it's
- 4:49Speaker 1: amazing how that kind of like foresaw and propheside to
- 4:53Speaker 1: what my life would end up looking like yeah. Yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: but you can't really find the episode online or where
- 4:58Speaker 1: they sponged it, you know what I'm saying, because it
- 5:01Speaker 1: was live.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's like almost damn. You're gotta like hit
- 5:04Speaker 2: them like he send me to take Yeah.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they sponged it and I and I was
- 5:07Speaker 1: talking about God a lot. You know what I'm saying,
- 5:09Speaker 1: because you know my faith fact, the faith factor hit me,
- 5:11Speaker 1: bro because.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The way they shot up the street. K I ain't
- 5:14Speaker 2: supposed to be here, Bro, were they looking? Were they
- 5:16Speaker 2: trying to shoot you?
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah? Out of seven people on the person that got
- 5:19Speaker 1: shot and bullets, I mean you know how bullet holes
- 5:23Speaker 1: went through my my cousin's shirt or like it was.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It was that type of energy. I'm the only person
- 5:28Speaker 1: that got shot. And I met God on my back
- 5:30Speaker 1: like I was laying there and you know how they
- 5:32Speaker 1: say your life last for y'all. Yeah, like I used
- 5:35Speaker 1: to hear through movies until it happened. I'm looking up
- 5:37Speaker 1: at the sky, bro, and I'm like.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yo, do you feel like you like I don't know
- 5:42Speaker 2: how serious, like you're like like your wounds were, but
- 5:47Speaker 2: do you like were you like slipping in and out
- 5:48Speaker 2: of like whatever they call that like space between like yeah,
- 5:52Speaker 2: passing away and being here.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Like no, I mean, because adrenaline is so high. I
- 5:56Speaker 1: even know I was shot until somebody like told me
- 5:58Speaker 1: I was shot.
- 5:59Speaker 3: But you you you once you're.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I was cognizant and I saw the wounds.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm like, oh and then your brain like there's something
- 6:07Speaker 2: that turns on.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It turns on, bro. So that happened, you know what
- 6:10Speaker 1: I mean. And it took like that. It took the
- 6:12Speaker 1: ambulance like forty five minutes to get there. You know
- 6:14Speaker 1: what I'm saying, I'm in. I'm in. I'm on the
- 6:16Speaker 1: north side of Slain Lewis. You heard me? So ain't
- 6:19Speaker 1: nobody coming over there? Bro? And what BT heard my story?
- 6:22Speaker 1: They did a special on it, and like I said,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'm sad about got a lot, you know, just my
- 6:26Speaker 1: faith and they sponged it. But I ended up helping
- 6:29Speaker 1: a lot of people. And it's before Instagram's popping, right,
- 6:32Speaker 1: so I start getting booked all across the country. Well
- 6:34Speaker 1: all this is as a speaker. Nobody's you know, you
- 6:37Speaker 1: do music.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Not even on a music shit, just just to hear
- 6:40Speaker 3: your story.
- 6:40Speaker 1: But what I would do throughout the bookings and you
- 6:43Speaker 1: know the speaking is I would uh, I would do acapellas.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You heard me, And I'm young man, so I'm getting
- 6:48Speaker 1: my stuff off, you know what I mean. So I
- 6:50Speaker 1: would do appellas and so that people start calling me
- 6:52Speaker 1: a poet at the time, you know what I mean.
- 6:54Speaker 1: But I really was just saying my verses slowly, you
- 6:56Speaker 1: know what I mean. And people start hearing me as
- 6:58Speaker 1: a poet, as a lyricist at that time, and it
- 7:01Speaker 1: really just trotted to the rest of my journey.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Bro.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I got awarded the White House Service Achievement Award when
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was twenty three, Yeah, from Barack Obama. So yeah, Bro,
- 7:10Speaker 1: I wrote.
- 7:10Speaker 3: A book to the White House.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a White House. I went the Capitol Hill.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Uh. You know it was did you meet Barry?
- 7:17Speaker 1: I did? I Actually I didn't meet him, but I
- 7:20Speaker 1: was in an oyster club, Bro, and all of them
- 7:22Speaker 1: was in the oyster club. I was just on the wall.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I was twenty three years old.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Bro, that's crazy, you.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Know what I'm saying. Like my journey, this is like
- 7:29Speaker 1: the two hundred version of me as we're talking, this
- 7:33Speaker 1: is a whole different version of me.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Bro.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's been a journey of growth and all of it's
- 7:37Speaker 1: being dependent, you know what I'm saying. So everything that
- 7:39Speaker 1: people see from my career, I wrote a book. When
- 7:42Speaker 1: I was twenty three, I got award the White House
- 7:44Speaker 1: Service achieved in the award, I got my own day
- 7:45Speaker 1: in the cit of Houston from the mayor said, it's
- 7:48Speaker 1: the piece of Mayor sevest attornery. But I got my
- 7:50Speaker 1: own day. And with all of that, I started a
- 7:54Speaker 1: nonprofit organization first, and it was a writing and performing
- 7:56Speaker 1: arts organization, so it wasn't into all of this happened.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Then I started taking music. I stopped like, yeah, I
- 8:05Speaker 1: get it now, you know what I'm saying, Like like
- 8:06Speaker 1: and I and I And I'm grateful for that for
- 8:08Speaker 1: that journey, bro, because my music is real and the
- 8:12Speaker 1: raw because I've lived, you know what I'm saying. I live,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I live, Bro, Like everything I talk about is rich,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It ain't just like so
- 8:20Speaker 1: it ain't like you know, I'm just I found some
- 8:23Speaker 1: newfound talent though this is this has been refined, you
- 8:26Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 8:27Speaker 2: It's interesting too because do you feel like had you
- 8:31Speaker 2: not been shot, that your journey would have been different the.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Way it would definitely be different. I'll probably be there
- 8:37Speaker 1: on jail either way. You know what I'm saying. You know,
- 8:40Speaker 1: with Saint Louis being what it is, right, But if
- 8:43Speaker 1: I if that didn't happen, because my mom sent me
- 8:45Speaker 1: away after that and I stayed with I was homeless
- 8:47Speaker 1: through our hospital. I stayed with six different families.
- 8:49Speaker 3: What'd you get sent away to? Okay? Yeah?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 8:53Speaker 3: From there it was like h town.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yeah you know, so used to save my life, bro,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you know what I mean? And really the people. That's
- 8:58Speaker 1: why I have so much admiration for community humanity because
- 9:00Speaker 1: I've seen beauty in it too. I stay with old
- 9:04Speaker 1: white couple. I stayed with. You know what I'm saying.
- 9:06Speaker 1: I used some Hispanics Asi. So my view just on
- 9:10Speaker 1: life is different, and like I say, it's been refined.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So I started doing music, taking the music seriously three
- 9:19Speaker 1: years ago. Bro. So everything that people see three years old,
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's only three years old. But it's rich though.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You know, it's interesting because when something like that happens,
- 9:30Speaker 2: it's almost like it's either just another day or it's
- 9:36Speaker 2: going to change your life.
- 9:37Speaker 3: It's like one of the two.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Because you know, there's people who get shot and nothing
- 9:41Speaker 2: changes nothing. But I feel like when something like that happens,
- 9:46Speaker 2: it's like a real fork in the road moment.
- 9:48Speaker 1: It's about how you respond, I think, I think, you know.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's we all have different moments, So it don't have
- 9:53Speaker 1: to be something of the Jurassic as getting shot, right,
- 9:55Speaker 1: But it could be how you respond to anger, how
- 9:58Speaker 1: you respond to disappointment, how you responded to a breakup
- 10:01Speaker 1: for sure, and respond to you know, being broke. Like's
- 10:04Speaker 1: that's who you are in real life? You know what
- 10:05Speaker 1: I mean? You are whoever you are when you are alone,
- 10:07Speaker 1: So whoever you are when you're around people and all
- 10:10Speaker 1: that ain't really you, you know what I mean?
- 10:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say too.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It's like the craziest sh it is how everybody is
- 10:17Speaker 2: just like an emotional mistake away from like changing the
- 10:22Speaker 2: trajectory of their life at all times.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's why I said. And you know in my music
- 10:26Speaker 1: I talk a lot about like we talk, we talk,
- 10:29Speaker 1: we talk about the crash outs, but we don't talk
- 10:31Speaker 1: about the people who almost crashed out. The almost crash
- 10:33Speaker 1: outs is crazy because you learned that the lessons are
- 10:35Speaker 1: in the almost crashouts. Me, it's it's it's it's a
- 10:38Speaker 1: woman in the almost, but people don't want talk about
- 10:40Speaker 1: they almost because it'svul' vulnerable, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You got to be vulnerable to say, yeah, man, I
- 10:44Speaker 1: almost lost my mom or I almost crashed out on
- 10:47Speaker 1: all y'all. You know what I mean, Like, because you
- 10:50Speaker 1: don't praise almost you almost the street nigga, you almost
- 10:53Speaker 1: shot somebody? You almost.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, It's like thank god, man, because I had a
- 10:58Speaker 2: lot of crash out moments when I was younger, but
- 10:59Speaker 2: the wasn't as prevalent as it is. So but it's
- 11:04Speaker 2: like you like you got to learn and like certain
- 11:06Speaker 2: shit is just not worth it.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Man.
- 11:09Speaker 2: It's just like I really feel like life is just
- 11:12Speaker 2: it really boils down to how you react to adversity
- 11:14Speaker 2: or how you react when you're really when you're mad,
- 11:18Speaker 2: when you're sad, when you're disappointed, because it's it's in
- 11:22Speaker 2: those moments that you have to be composed, You have
- 11:25Speaker 2: to step back, let the dust settle, and just yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 2: because in those same moments, it's like if you're if it,
- 11:32Speaker 2: like I said, you could apply that to financial advice.
- 11:35Speaker 2: You could apply that like when people get freaked out
- 11:37Speaker 2: because you know, some crazy shit's happening, you don't look
- 11:41Speaker 2: at it.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Through the emotional lens. There's there's always opportunity to take
- 11:44Speaker 3: advantage of any situation.
- 11:45Speaker 1: You know. It's like it's all about your spine. And
- 11:48Speaker 1: I believe that that's why my journey has been unique,
- 11:51Speaker 1: because I am the symbol of the almost. I'm the
- 11:56Speaker 1: symbol of evolution, right like we again, we got Street,
- 12:00Speaker 1: we got Street Niggas, we got we got all that.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But have you ever seen it evolved when before? Have
- 12:05Speaker 1: you ever seen somebody like go beyond it? You know
- 12:08Speaker 1: what I'm saying and looking and be able to talk
- 12:10Speaker 1: about it holistically. I don't know. I don't know. Poked
- 12:13Speaker 1: out of twenty five. You know what I'm saying.
- 12:15Speaker 3: It is wild.
- 12:16Speaker 2: It's crazy. Every time I hear that out loud, it's like, damn,
- 12:18Speaker 2: he really did diet twenty five five.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Nip was the closest to me, and I'm a big
- 12:22Speaker 1: like you know child, and Nip we on West Coast
- 12:24Speaker 1: for show. Nip was definitely a kindred spirit of mine
- 12:29Speaker 1: and I never met him, right, but it's amazing how
- 12:34Speaker 1: a lot of people have, Like, man, you feel like
- 12:35Speaker 1: you remind me of somebody. But I believe it's just
- 12:37Speaker 1: because of the evolution of it, Like you know, Nip
- 12:40Speaker 1: being you know what I'm saying, from the streets whatever,
- 12:42Speaker 1: and you saw him evolving in different spaces, you know.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I think that, And it's unfortunately he was taking you know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: they had thirty three, but we don't see the people
- 12:51Speaker 1: live to be able to go beyond it.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I think it's it's it's like the thing about Nip's passing,
- 12:57Speaker 2: as sad and tragic as it was, is like it
- 13:00Speaker 2: and into like a lot of people being inspired and
- 13:04Speaker 2: going back and digging in his interviews.
- 13:06Speaker 3: And like like he like changed the world like after
- 13:09Speaker 3: his death for real.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Like like there's people who like like look at
- 13:15Speaker 2: shit way differently because of it, because they found out
- 13:18Speaker 2: about him after he passed.
- 13:19Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I think I think that's I think there's beauty in that,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But it's still tragic, right,
- 13:24Speaker 1: It's it's Inadverden, you know what I mean.
- 13:26Speaker 2: But it's still like it's like, man, it's almost like
- 13:29Speaker 2: you know when when you go through because I was
- 13:33Speaker 2: I was personal friends with Nip. That was the homie
- 13:34Speaker 2: man like I've been knowing nip since two thousand and nine, bro,
- 13:37Speaker 2: that was when he was first on my show. But
- 13:40Speaker 2: I know, like him passing, it was a tragedy. I mean, dude,
- 13:44Speaker 2: when he died, LA stopped in a way that was
- 13:49Speaker 2: Kobe passed away not far after, and it wasn't the same.
- 13:53Speaker 2: And I said that to say, like Nipsey, like do
- 13:54Speaker 2: they like that?
- 13:55Speaker 3: It was?
- 13:56Speaker 2: It was it was like you could feel, like imagine Bro,
- 13:59Speaker 2: like a pin drop in the city, you know, and
- 14:01Speaker 2: the same thing with Kobe, you know. But I do
- 14:04Speaker 2: think it's it's been beautiful to just see his legacy, yeah.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Growing and his reach growing, and.
- 14:15Speaker 2: You know, if there's any positive to take out of
- 14:17Speaker 2: his passing, it's like, you know, more and more people
- 14:21Speaker 2: are It's it's almost like the Tupac pot past.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Man.
- 14:24Speaker 2: It's like there's kids who love Tupac that were born
- 14:29Speaker 2: fifteen years ago.
- 14:30Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 14:30Speaker 1: That's what I say. It's the inadvertent part of it all.
- 14:33Speaker 1: But while I'm trying this experiment out as I live
- 14:35Speaker 1: through it is to see what it looks like when
- 14:40Speaker 1: the raw soul, the ex Gang Bang hood, you know,
- 14:44Speaker 1: gets fast fifty gets right, like get old in my locks,
- 14:48Speaker 1: turned grade, bro, and what kind of responses that I have.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know, my Molla died at thirty five, so I'm
- 14:54Speaker 1: saying like revolutionaries don't really don't really live and so
- 14:58Speaker 1: you know, like if God gets me grace, excuse me
- 15:01Speaker 1: to continue to grow and live and be here while
- 15:04Speaker 1: being my authentic ros self. I want to show all
- 15:08Speaker 1: the youth them everybody in the streets. Everybody in the
- 15:10Speaker 1: world would look like you see an eighty year old
- 15:12Speaker 1: reform gang member who grew evolved, got money, healthy relationships,
- 15:18Speaker 1: got kids, his family good. It's people good. He got
- 15:21Speaker 1: he good in this community. I want to show them
- 15:23Speaker 1: because I don't think the people, especially the youth, they
- 15:26Speaker 1: can't see that far you're hearing because ain't nobody like
- 15:29Speaker 1: who's showing it. The ones who probably did it, they off,
- 15:32Speaker 1: they disconnected from it all, which is beauty. But God
- 15:36Speaker 1: told me to use it. So that's why I still use.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You know, everything I've been through and I haven't put
- 15:42Speaker 1: it in my back view, you know what I'm saying,
- 15:44Speaker 1: because I can. I've done so much stuff where I
- 15:47Speaker 1: ain't got to talk about that no more, right, But
- 15:49Speaker 1: I still do because that's what I'm caught the reach, Yo.
- 15:51Speaker 3: We got to stop the interview to tell you about
- 15:53Speaker 3: our good folks.
- 15:53Speaker 2: In my bookie, the NBA Finals are set and we
- 15:56Speaker 2: are excited to watch two of the smallest mart teams
- 16:00Speaker 2: to ever make it kind of crazy Thunder versus Pacers.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Now the smart money.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I mean, let's just be honest, it's gonna be the Thunder,
- 16:09Speaker 2: the Thunder, my sweet these bastards. With that being said, however,
- 16:11Speaker 2: you feel like it's gonna go, maybe you want to
- 16:13Speaker 2: vote on who's gonna get the MVP at the NBA Finals.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Maybe you want to start getting some of those NFL
- 16:17Speaker 2: future bets in. Whatever the case is, you can get

- 17:17Speaker 2: With that being said, you want to make sure your
- 17:20Speaker 2: cock is up to par. Yes, you want your dick

- 17:58Speaker 2: Uh. Look, I don't like my anymore. She gained a
- 18:01Speaker 2: bunch of pounds. I can't get hard. Look, it don't

- 18:11Speaker 2: a month. All you gotta do is pay fight hour shipping.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Let's get back to the interview. There is a certain
- 18:16Speaker 2: part of like people saying that there's not a lot
- 18:21Speaker 2: of music for or artists for the kids to kind
- 18:26Speaker 2: of like look up to, because if if the algorithm
- 18:29Speaker 2: is just feeding them all this crash out shit, all
- 18:33Speaker 2: this you know, you know whatever you want to call it, right,
- 18:38Speaker 2: But there is there's guys like you, there's got you know,
- 18:40Speaker 2: there's there's amazing artists out there who are doing amazing shit.
- 18:43Speaker 2: The problem is is, like I think just the artist
- 18:46Speaker 2: discovery methods that are like the kids are using it,
- 18:50Speaker 2: it's really like they're not like seeking out new music
- 18:52Speaker 2: as much as it's just kind of like they got
- 18:54Speaker 2: to swipe and it's got to hit their algorithm.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's it's it's systematic, bro for sure, like
- 18:59Speaker 1: it feels that way. It's definitely just about it. But
- 19:01Speaker 1: I think that, you know, even going back to Nip
- 19:04Speaker 1: Nip said, he said, and I apologize, I get it wrong,
- 19:07Speaker 1: but he said, ur generation gonna become you know, there
- 19:11Speaker 1: comes one who decldes the matrix, you know what I'm saying.
- 19:14Speaker 1: And that's when I'm that He was that there's there's
- 19:18Speaker 1: people who will show a path, who will light a
- 19:20Speaker 1: path in a different way, like my My brand is
- 19:23Speaker 1: on the same level like my my notoriety, whether people
- 19:27Speaker 1: know it or not. But if you go to my
- 19:29Speaker 1: page and go to my streams or come to my tour,
- 19:31Speaker 1: you will see a line around the block and be like,
- 19:34Speaker 1: what the hell going on her? You know what I'm saying, Like, No,
- 19:36Speaker 1: you go see the five hundred and thirty thousand followers
- 19:39Speaker 1: and you will see it. So it's happened. It's a
- 19:41Speaker 1: movement happening. But the path's not lit you hear me.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So I'm like in the past and it's not celebrated,
- 19:46Speaker 1: right right, But there's people like yourself who are in
- 19:49Speaker 1: the industry who hold spaces for you know what I'm saying,
- 19:52Speaker 1: like raw souls and real people, and I think that
- 19:55Speaker 1: there's beauty in that and also stuff he repeats itself,
- 19:59Speaker 1: bro like history piece itself. Music would be yourself, nas
- 20:02Speaker 1: pop Common, you know, Badu, the Soul Crarions and just
- 20:06Speaker 1: people who spoke to a deeper spoke a deeper message.
- 20:10Speaker 1: It's all coming back around.
- 20:11Speaker 2: But it's interesting because there's pages that would never post
- 20:16Speaker 2: your freestyles, your music, but if you got shot tomorrow
- 20:19Speaker 2: in Houston and passed away, Lord forbid, you would be posted.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Yeah that's fucking crazy. It's systematic. I think J Cole
- 20:26Speaker 3: said that right, Yeah, yeah.
- 20:28Speaker 1: It's systematic. But like I said, we were in such
- 20:31Speaker 1: a d I wild world, now you know what I
- 20:33Speaker 1: mean the last couple of years.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, shots of guys like yourself.
- 20:36Speaker 2: La Russell's done a really good job of showing people like, hey,
- 20:39Speaker 2: you don't have to follow the blueprints.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, no, like we were able to build
- 20:44Speaker 1: our own system. So and now don't get me wrong,
- 20:47Speaker 1: It still goes in front of people to choose right now,
- 20:50Speaker 1: you know what I mean. You can't you know that's
- 20:51Speaker 1: free will. God will even take that from you. So
- 20:53Speaker 1: people got to choose what they want to take part in.
- 20:55Speaker 1: And don't get me wrong, there's some dual there there, bro,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Like you're hearing me, there's artists that I love, may
- 21:00Speaker 1: not you know, speak the same right, right or whatever? Yeah, yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean. But but also I can
- 21:06Speaker 1: see the I can see it. I can see the
- 21:07Speaker 1: beauty in it. I mean, Pak was a conflicted soul,
- 21:09Speaker 1: you know what I.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Mean, Like all the greats are low key, very conflicted,
- 21:14Speaker 2: very like if you heard like Navs say some ship
- 21:16Speaker 2: like like this, like I mean, jay Z is it
- 21:19Speaker 2: black Girl Losses the short you've had right?
- 21:21Speaker 3: He said that. It was like it's it's like this
- 21:23Speaker 3: is this is humans.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Right, And I think that that's why they're like, it's
- 21:28Speaker 1: just a movement now that's happening to where the raw souls,
- 21:31Speaker 1: raw music is found in this place. No, bro, it
- 21:34Speaker 1: ain't gospel, like, it ain't Christian music. You're gonna hear
- 21:37Speaker 1: me talk about God. You're gonna hear me talk about
- 21:38Speaker 1: life and health and eating healthy. And you know what
- 21:41Speaker 1: I'm saying. I don't kill nobody on music. I don't
- 21:43Speaker 1: beat no women, bro on the grade. But the same
- 21:45Speaker 1: energy I just did you know while rapping or the
- 21:48Speaker 1: music you're gonna heard the same energy that your favorite
- 21:50Speaker 1: rapper god while he's spinning and talk about shooting right.
- 21:53Speaker 1: So it's the confidence like people want to steal. I
- 21:56Speaker 1: don't care what you talk about in your music, Bro,
- 21:58Speaker 1: it can't be like yeah, and that's my thing, Like
- 22:02Speaker 1: it ain't. People don't want to. It ain't about your
- 22:04Speaker 1: content more so than it's about the energy you put
- 22:07Speaker 1: behind it. Do you believe it? You gotta be convinced
- 22:10Speaker 1: in order to be convincing, like, yeah, no, I don't
- 22:12Speaker 1: believe you when you when you're saying it yourself. You
- 22:14Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So why would you go go
- 22:17Speaker 1: out there and then you want to blame that on
- 22:19Speaker 1: the industry. No, Bro, you still need to find your
- 22:22Speaker 1: your you know, your path and your honesty and your transparency.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I found mine and I'm lighting a path to help
- 22:28Speaker 1: other people show.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's interesting because like you said, it's like you
- 22:32Speaker 2: can enjoy it like I I mean the I remember
- 22:38Speaker 2: I used to be a hip hop snob when I
- 22:40Speaker 2: was a kid, and and then I.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Was like why I used to be like a backpack
- 22:45Speaker 3: like rap real, it's not real rap. You know, it's
- 22:48Speaker 3: not real hip hop. But it's like bro, Like if
- 22:50Speaker 3: you can't enjoy fucking sexy. I love sexy Red. I
- 22:56Speaker 3: love sexy Red, and I love you know I don't
- 23:00Speaker 3: you name it cord.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Or rhapsody rap cool, I'll just give you those are
- 23:06Speaker 1: the two. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love shouts of wrap.
- 23:11Speaker 3: She's one of the great I would love to.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Do a song rap I think. I think it will
- 23:14Speaker 1: change the world.
- 23:14Speaker 3: She's amazing.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I love, I love, I love rap.
- 23:16Speaker 2: She's one of the greatest mcs, like on the planet.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Like I hate, I hate when they put her in
- 23:21Speaker 2: like the best female rapper. No, she rap out bar
- 23:25Speaker 2: like she's insane. But you you can enjoy both, Like
- 23:27Speaker 2: I love sex.
- 23:30Speaker 3: She got bangers.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I said, it's a duality, and I
- 23:32Speaker 1: think we find that place and all this division. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: don't even think God's pleased with the level of division
- 23:38Speaker 1: that we have. Don't get your own life should be
- 23:40Speaker 1: about principles, right, and moral you know, moral values and
- 23:43Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, righteousness, I believe in that.
- 23:45Speaker 1: But the way the human nature is set up, you
- 23:48Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like the grace and the and
- 23:51Speaker 1: the and the the understanding that we should have. I
- 23:53Speaker 1: feel like we've lost that as people and we've weaponized knowledge,
- 23:56Speaker 1: weaponized money, and weaponized wealth. But on humanity level, once
- 24:01Speaker 1: we get back to seeing everybody as humans, you know
- 24:03Speaker 1: what I'm saying, First, you're not a body with a soul.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Your soul with a body, bro and that ain't got
- 24:09Speaker 1: no social class, no race, no no, no nothing. When we
- 24:13Speaker 1: able to get to that, then I think we can
- 24:15Speaker 1: we can operate it off food.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the whole world needs to give people
- 24:18Speaker 3: more grace, whether it's in political politics, whether it's in music.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I hate when I see people like.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Coming across like they're talking down on something or they
- 24:29Speaker 2: know better where it's like, hey, like your truth isn't
- 24:32Speaker 2: that person's truth isn't You know what I'm saying. So
- 24:35Speaker 2: it's like, you know, I think I think, like you said,
- 24:37Speaker 2: you got to give people more grace, and you also
- 24:39Speaker 2: got to understand like not everyone's path the same not
- 24:42Speaker 2: everyone's life the same, Not everybody's motivations are the same, and.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It ain't it ain't gonna ever be the same. But
- 24:47Speaker 1: you can control what you can control. I told somebody
- 24:50Speaker 1: this the other day and they stopped in their tracks.
- 24:53Speaker 1: God ain't American facts, even though.
- 24:56Speaker 2: They want you to think that God ain't American. Like,
- 25:00Speaker 2: God's not an American, God's not from Israel. God's fucking
- 25:04Speaker 2: let me.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Let me go deeper. God ain't American. God ain't black
- 25:07Speaker 1: or white. God ain't male or female. God is none
- 25:10Speaker 1: of it. Don't get me wrong. There's there's there's polarity,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and you know, a masculine front or this what what
- 25:16Speaker 1: have you been? On a deeper level, God ain't American.
- 25:18Speaker 1: So while you thinking in your box and your and
- 25:20Speaker 1: your your big house down the street or your whatever,
- 25:23Speaker 1: that God sitting there. The way you see the world
- 25:26Speaker 1: is law. The way you see people is law, and
- 25:29Speaker 1: that's gonna be it. You're gonna be mistaken, you know
- 25:32Speaker 1: what I'm saying. God ain't American.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Bro.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Like, there's a there's a hut. There's a tribe in
- 25:36Speaker 1: Africa somewhere on the other side of the world that
- 25:39Speaker 1: probably you know will spur you in your head. You
- 25:43Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You come over there being disrespectful
- 25:45Speaker 1: that that that believe in God too, And so who
- 25:48Speaker 1: am I to go? And you know what I mean,
- 25:50Speaker 1: weaponize what I believe, what I think I.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Know, and judge.
- 25:54Speaker 1: And that's why I operate the way I do. Don't
- 25:57Speaker 1: get me wrong. My story, my testimony, my principles, my
- 26:02Speaker 1: truth is something I'm gonna live and die on. But
- 26:06Speaker 1: and I'm not a threat to you as long as
- 26:08Speaker 1: you're not threat to my pressholes, our value, my truth. Brother.
- 26:11Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna go attack the world for it.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna like the path and show the way.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I love that. That's crazy. It's interesting because
- 26:19Speaker 2: we I feel like the world, I mean.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Most most huge wars are religion based, right Yeah, not
- 26:28Speaker 3: to mention like so many of the world's conflicts right now,
- 26:31Speaker 3: people like it's like the whole idea of like religion
- 26:35Speaker 3: and God is like forgiveness.
- 26:39Speaker 2: You can't put a nationality on it. You can't put
- 26:42Speaker 2: a region of the world on it. It's like, yeah,
- 26:46Speaker 2: that's what I say.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I believe, you know the most when it's all said, whenever, whenever,
- 26:50Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be disappointed, man, you know what I'm saying.
- 26:52Speaker 1: But again, because we've able to create these systems in
- 26:56Speaker 1: this division and most people. But one thing I love
- 26:58Speaker 1: about music is like music is of the arts, liberal arts.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It's not called conservative arts, brother, right, liberal arts, man,
- 27:08Speaker 1: So be free express yourself. And that's where I again,
- 27:12Speaker 1: it took me yours to get to a place where
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, and I literally stopped everything. Everything I
- 27:17Speaker 1: told you I was doing, I stopped. I don't do
- 27:19Speaker 1: none of it no more. All I do it's right here.
- 27:22Speaker 1: And I get two tours last year selling our shows
- 27:26Speaker 1: all indie. You know what I'm saying, No label, all independent.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You're hearing me. Maybe I've had conversation with labels, but
- 27:34Speaker 1: you know we you know, we're doing it ourself.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Her.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I think at the end of the day,
- 27:38Speaker 2: like a major label situation, it just has to be
- 27:41Speaker 2: like you have to just get everything you.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Asked for, give me me and let me alone. I'll
- 27:45Speaker 1: give you money back later.
- 27:47Speaker 3: That's what I mean.
- 27:47Speaker 2: That's literally, yeah, Like it's like at a certain point
- 27:50Speaker 2: in time, it's like yo, cause I see you're you're
- 27:54Speaker 2: doing the thing on even that a lot of artists
- 27:55Speaker 2: are being able to do, which is essentially like go
- 27:57Speaker 2: straight to consumers and monetize because the streaming rate is
- 28:01Speaker 2: fucking insane, right that sold you?
- 28:03Speaker 3: You sold an album for two grand?
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, ninety hundred.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So it's like just to give people like an idea
- 28:08Speaker 2: of like what that breaks down to, Like the streaming
- 28:10Speaker 2: rate on Spotify, depending on what time of the year
- 28:14Speaker 2: it is, nineteen hundred dollars is on the high end,
- 28:18Speaker 2: that's a happen million straight. Yeah, So it's like fuck that.
- 28:23Speaker 1: It's beauty. There's so much beauty and independence right now,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you know. And independence doesn't mean a loan, right Like
- 28:29Speaker 1: independence means independent. It means you know, you you trying
- 28:33Speaker 1: your own path, you making your own decisions, and you're
- 28:35Speaker 1: making strategic partnerships. That's why I deal with you know,
- 28:37Speaker 1: even United Masters, you know what I mean, just making
- 28:40Speaker 1: strategic partnerships and get bringing power back to the artists,
- 28:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I'm able to go
- 28:46Speaker 1: straight to the to my fans and also collect the data.
- 28:50Speaker 1: So yeah, you're gonna buy this project, but I'm also
- 28:52Speaker 1: about to email you about this show, and it's merch
- 28:54Speaker 1: because I got the data, I can extract it through
- 28:56Speaker 1: a CSV file, you hear me. And it's just it
- 28:59Speaker 1: makes you your own ball, your own label. And I
- 29:01Speaker 1: think that everybody should embrace the independent on.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I think.
- 29:05Speaker 2: I mean, obviously, there's like artists where you're like, if
- 29:06Speaker 2: you do like pop music, you do like a certain
- 29:08Speaker 2: genre of music, You're like, you know, I mean, maybe
- 29:10Speaker 2: this this needs to be in a machine for it
- 29:12Speaker 2: to really go to the next level.
- 29:13Speaker 3: But I do feel like when it comes to.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Hip hop, it's like you got to build a flock man,
- 29:21Speaker 2: and there's so much, there's so much it's coming now.
- 29:25Speaker 1: This is cheat cood, drop of cheat code. It's marketing,
- 29:29Speaker 1: it's marketing. You know, you got a bag, you got
- 29:32Speaker 1: money right now, you know what I'm saying. I'm gonna
- 29:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna courage you to put it in marketing. You
- 29:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Make sure marketing exposure, make sure
- 29:40Speaker 1: you the world season. You can do that so easily.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Now when you say marketing, what would you say would
- 29:44Speaker 2: be Because I feel like a lot of artists they
- 29:46Speaker 2: don't like, let's say someone's got ten grands shaved up right,
- 29:49Speaker 2: they don't know.
- 29:49Speaker 3: What to do with it.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, these a lot of these pages are not label bought.
- 29:54Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. They work with the label too,
- 29:56Speaker 1: you know what i mean. So you know you're on
- 29:58Speaker 1: the radars, your Wrap Marathon, all these different platforms. They
- 30:03Speaker 1: not bought by labels. You know what I'm saying. These
- 30:05Speaker 1: are real people that if you hit them up. You
- 30:07Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, you say, hey, you know what
- 30:08Speaker 1: I mean. I got X y Z. You know what
- 30:11Speaker 1: I'm saying. And you know, Shade Room ain't brought by nobody.
- 30:13Speaker 3: You're like, yeah, but they'll they'll and if they if
- 30:17Speaker 3: it is a sponsored post or an ad post, it'll
- 30:19Speaker 3: say that, it'll say that, right, so so, but there
- 30:21Speaker 3: are a lot of pages that aren't saying yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 1: And that's the thing, Like, I think there's more of
- 30:27Speaker 1: people that if they see of course, you willn't invest
- 30:29Speaker 1: in yourself. You got you know, you've got a ten
- 30:31Speaker 1: grand There's pagers out there that you could throw five
- 30:35Speaker 1: hundred at. You know what I'm saying to say, pop Now,
- 30:37Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, what a label, what marketing won't
- 30:39Speaker 1: do is make the good content. You have to have
- 30:43Speaker 1: the right song, like you got you you gotta it
- 30:45Speaker 1: ain't gonna Yeah, you'll spend your money, and after it
- 30:48Speaker 1: spends a cycle, it's goned fizzle out, you know.
- 30:50Speaker 3: Yeah. I always say, like I tell this to people
- 30:52Speaker 3: all the time because I have people playing music. Hey,
- 30:55Speaker 3: I'm thinking about working with the Start.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I say, look, at the end of the day, my
- 30:58Speaker 2: opinion is just my opinion on if your music's good
- 31:00Speaker 2: or not. It doesn't mean that it's It's all subjective, right,
- 31:03Speaker 2: it's art. So it's like, but at the same time,
- 31:05Speaker 2: it's like, what is a fact is it doesn't matter
- 31:08Speaker 2: how much money you spend. If the music does not resonate,
- 31:12Speaker 2: it don't matter.
- 31:13Speaker 3: None of it matters. There's no cheat code to making
- 31:16Speaker 3: music that connects with people. There's like that does not exist.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It don't exist at all. So you can spend the money,
- 31:21Speaker 1: it's gonna fizzle out and you ain't gonna see.
- 31:23Speaker 2: It again, and you will never be able to tour
- 31:26Speaker 2: because to me, I always look at the hard ticket sales.
- 31:28Speaker 3: It's like, oh, if you you're oh, you sold out
- 31:30Speaker 3: five hundreds. Even someone sells out too in a person show,
- 31:33Speaker 3: I respect the fuck out of it.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's still sold out.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Because I'm like, oh shit, you were able to move
- 31:36Speaker 3: two hundred tickets in the city you're not from.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Wow, I sold out Atlanta on a Monday night, four
- 31:43Speaker 1: hundred tickets. That's big night, you know what I'm saying. Monday.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I was touring throughout the week and weekends, you know,
- 31:48Speaker 1: because when you work independence, you're gonna take your slots
- 31:50Speaker 1: as you get them, you know what I mean.
- 31:52Speaker 2: I mean in these days more than ever, it's like
- 31:54Speaker 2: if you are resonating enough with somebody for them to
- 31:58Speaker 2: get a babysitter, spend money that they don't have extra
- 32:02Speaker 2: money right now just to go see you do what
- 32:06Speaker 2: you do.
- 32:06Speaker 3: That means what your whatever you're doing on whatever levels working.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I got people flying from all over the country
- 32:12Speaker 1: to come to shows. I wasn't getting booked for festivals
- 32:15Speaker 1: at first, so I started my own festivals called God
- 32:18Speaker 1: by the Weekend. So I do it in Houston early years.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'm out through the fourth annual, and so there's thousands
- 32:23Speaker 1: of people that come from all over just to be
- 32:26Speaker 1: in the city for like four days. And yeah, bro,
- 32:29Speaker 1: it's been beautiful. Kids came last year. I've been talking
- 32:33Speaker 1: to a whole bunch of people who I resonate with
- 32:34Speaker 1: inviting them to come through, and it's just a space
- 32:36Speaker 1: for you know, celebrating like the positivity, you know, like
- 32:41Speaker 1: healthy stuff. You know what I'm saying. Because again there's
- 32:43Speaker 1: duality there, right. I think that the more instead of
- 32:46Speaker 1: drawing a line in the saying like, hey, you either
- 32:48Speaker 1: come on the side, going on inside, create spaces where
- 32:51Speaker 1: we all could operate and live in. I may not
- 32:53Speaker 1: see the world the way you see the world, but
- 32:55Speaker 1: I do. I do need to eat healthy too, or
- 32:57Speaker 1: I pray tool or I want a healthy relationship too,
- 33:01Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And everything don't have to
- 33:03Speaker 1: be so black and white. So I encourage her all
- 33:05Speaker 1: the independent autists, not even just independent arts people to
- 33:08Speaker 1: find themselves, like find that thing within you. You know
- 33:10Speaker 1: what I'm saying, that it's you, it makes you unique,
- 33:14Speaker 1: and then you market that.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy. It's like I'm pushing like good relationships.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Tive is amazing.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It's almost the vision I heard. I hate. I hate
- 33:25Speaker 1: seeing some of the stuff. Oh that's going on. I
- 33:29Speaker 1: hate it.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Quick break Man.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Want to give a shout out to our new sponsors
- 33:32Speaker 2: Man our family at slap Woods. Make sure you follow
- 33:34Speaker 2: them right now on that ig at slap Woods.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Show them some love. Go to slap woods dot com.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Hey, don't forget to go to bootleg cab dot com.
- 33:42Speaker 2: You know, we have to celebrate the two year anniversary
- 33:44Speaker 2: of the most viral interview of all time. Throw the
- 33:46Speaker 2: shirt up so you could see it. I turned it down.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Shout out to that boy Big Boogie, a big college
- 33:50Speaker 2: in Jacksonville. And we just threw these on sale half
- 33:54Speaker 2: off for the five hundred episode t bootleg cab dot com.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Go get you a shirt. Let's get back to the interview.
- 33:59Speaker 3: I like the last.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie ever really ever since, like I'll
- 34:05Speaker 2: be twenty sixteen. It's got to where a lot of
- 34:07Speaker 2: the craziest political shit started.
- 34:09Speaker 3: But I might gonna lie. Like once Biden got in
- 34:11Speaker 3: the way that the whole Biden shit went, I just
- 34:15Speaker 3: I was, I got broken, dog, I was like, I am,
- 34:19Speaker 3: I gotta step away from all this shit, Like you
- 34:21Speaker 3: know what I'm saying.
- 34:21Speaker 2: I can't be like politically engaged on a daily basis
- 34:25Speaker 2: without wanting to fucking like stab my eyes out.
- 34:27Speaker 3: And then to today it's just crazy.
- 34:28Speaker 2: It's like today it's like a Netflix show, like playing
- 34:31Speaker 2: out in real life like this Elon Trump, shit is.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Y'all saw that?
- 34:35Speaker 3: It's wild?
- 34:36Speaker 1: He say, Epstein, this, that's.
- 34:38Speaker 3: It's Kendrick and Drake. If it was Drake versus dre
- 34:41Speaker 3: it's two Drakes in the battle.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Drakes. Yeah, man, two Drakes in the Battle's crazy, you know.
- 34:50Speaker 1: And like I said, it's a lot of that going on.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But I also think that there is a lot of
- 34:54Speaker 1: beauty still in the world, you know what I'm saying,
- 34:56Speaker 1: As crazy as it is, and I think that beauty
- 34:58Speaker 1: is created through moments like this, through moments of people
- 35:01Speaker 1: just being the raw self. Like you know, whoever you are,
- 35:05Speaker 1: when you're by yourself, that's who you are investing to
- 35:08Speaker 1: that person, you know what I'm saying. Like like I don't.
- 35:10Speaker 1: I've been taking solo trips lately, you know what I mean.
- 35:13Speaker 1: So at the top of the year, I went to
- 35:14Speaker 1: the d Off seven days, bro by yourself, by myself. Bro.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I'm out of her Bro. I just came back from
- 35:20Speaker 1: Jamaica like two weeks ago, where I went everywhere Bay Grill. No,
- 35:27Speaker 1: I didn't go to the grill. I went to a
- 35:29Speaker 1: Tigo Bay Flanker. But I'm I'll do no touristy stuff.
- 35:36Speaker 1: I'm with the local. I'm a Rosters. Yeah you know
- 35:38Speaker 1: what I mean. So I go to locals at and
- 35:40Speaker 1: just take a break from everything. That's healthy. Attachment is healthy.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yo, that's crazy. I feel like more people should this.
- 35:47Speaker 2: So it's almost like we're shamed. If you go to
- 35:49Speaker 2: the movies by yourself, people look at you like you
- 35:52Speaker 2: went to the movies that.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I've been going. I've been single for three years, but
- 35:55Speaker 1: I've been going a lot, a lot of solo trip
- 35:58Speaker 1: because you know, just not repeating cycles. Man, especially where
- 36:00Speaker 1: I'm at now. I could do some I could do
- 36:02Speaker 1: some wild ship.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Yeah oh you yeah, bro, I can.
- 36:07Speaker 1: But just because you can do anything doesn't mean you should.
- 36:10Speaker 1: And I think there's beauty and restraint. There's beauty and retention.
- 36:13Speaker 1: There's beauty and resetting, and there's beauty and and and
- 36:16Speaker 1: and Nip said something, he say, uh, we gotta we
- 36:19Speaker 1: gotta change how we respond to disrespect. You know what
- 36:22Speaker 1: I'm saying. And it resonated with me a while ago, right,
- 36:25Speaker 1: And that's I showed the same sentiments. We have to
- 36:28Speaker 1: change how we respond to loneliness. Bro. Like loneliness, there's
- 36:33Speaker 1: a difference between being lonely and being in solitude, bro, Like,
- 36:36Speaker 1: loneliness is the response, it's the sorrow of like, man,
- 36:39Speaker 1: they left me solitude, you chose that.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Loneliness is like like you said, it's like a chosen
- 36:46Speaker 2: state of mind. If if you you know, like if
- 36:48Speaker 2: you want to dwell in your if.
- 36:51Speaker 1: You want to ruminate, you know what I'm saying. And
- 36:53Speaker 1: then yeah, like, but in solitude is I chose? I
- 36:55Speaker 1: chose this, bro, So I've been doing I've been choosing it.
- 36:58Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I told you about my
- 37:00Speaker 1: life that was forced on me. Loneliness was forced on me.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I got sent away from my mother, my sisters, my uncle,
- 37:06Speaker 1: and my dad for yours. Bro. My mama said I
- 37:09Speaker 1: could not come back because they're trying to theyre trying
- 37:11Speaker 1: to kill me, and you know, family get caught up
- 37:14Speaker 1: in across for so I'm living out of a trash
- 37:17Speaker 1: bag for yours, you know what I mean. So I
- 37:19Speaker 1: was lonely. So now as a as a man, I can.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I can need to choose to fill my space up
- 37:25Speaker 1: with vanity and the whole once ship. I can? I can?
- 37:28Speaker 3: I can.
- 37:28Speaker 1: My house could be jumping every night every single night.
- 37:31Speaker 1: And I ain't saying I don't want to get up
- 37:32Speaker 1: and present ultimate poise like I just be in.
- 37:34Speaker 3: The mug, but like you could definitely be.
- 37:38Speaker 1: But no, I'm trure. My brethren will tell you, like
- 37:40Speaker 1: we we we cut from a different cloth. We you know,
- 37:43Speaker 1: we want to be noblemen. You know what I'm saying.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Like I'm a I'm I'm a gangster and a gardener. Bro.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Like I've shown people the duality of it, and that's
- 37:51Speaker 1: why I believe that it's my time, because the world
- 37:53Speaker 1: needs to see something different that you know, the men
- 37:56Speaker 1: want to be. They want to still hold onto their stuff,
- 37:58Speaker 1: but they don't know how to take the gangst off
- 38:01Speaker 1: and hang it in the closet and take it out
- 38:03Speaker 1: when you need it. You know what I'm saying. They
- 38:05Speaker 1: don't know how to how to Yeah, I want to
- 38:08Speaker 1: go out and drink, smoking whatever, whatever. Yeah, don't get
- 38:10Speaker 1: me wrong, but bro, you need some You need a
- 38:12Speaker 1: smoothie or something, my nigga, Like you need a juice,
- 38:15Speaker 1: you know, you need you need to see somebody. Yeah, cook,
- 38:20Speaker 1: you're every like, But but who's showing it in a
- 38:22Speaker 1: way that's not Dare I say demasculating you or me
- 38:27Speaker 1: or corny or corny or religious or you know what
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm saying, who's showing in a way like damn? Like,
- 38:34Speaker 1: so I can be myself. I can love my woman.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I cannot fight somebody, but fight if I have to.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I can not crash out almost crash out. I can apologize.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I could be a man of my word, you know
- 38:48Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like, I can reserve, I can control
- 38:50Speaker 1: my dick. Like who's showing it and in a way
- 38:53Speaker 1: that's that's up. I'm gonna say mainstream, but who's showing
- 38:56Speaker 1: it towards like damn, that's that's what we need to
- 38:59Speaker 1: inspire to be, you know what I'm saying.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that we've unfortunately, like man like the
- 39:06Speaker 2: we grew up in an era that like our parents
- 39:08Speaker 2: have to grow up and and that is the era
- 39:10Speaker 2: of like everything is accessible at any time. Yeah, and
- 39:15Speaker 2: that means the Internet's got the craziest shit. You become
- 39:19Speaker 2: to sensitize a certain shit, and the only fans culture
- 39:23Speaker 2: is fucking insane.
- 39:24Speaker 1: To get off Facebook, bro, Like when did Facebook get pulln?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Bro?
- 39:28Speaker 1: I'm sitting there trying to trying to respond to my auntie,
- 39:31Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, and then she over there putting, uh,
- 39:34Speaker 1: what age do what age do parents? Parents get to
- 39:37Speaker 1: when they start using gifts on early times.
- 39:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you this, bro, my dad and my
- 39:42Speaker 3: mom and my dad says me ten tiktoks today.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know what's going on with dad. My
- 39:48Speaker 1: chill out on the gifts.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Man. It's like my dad just smokes weed in his
- 39:51Speaker 3: office and just swipes and it's like, so, and check
- 39:54Speaker 3: out this French bulldog.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You can say skateboard, you can say thank you, can
- 39:58Speaker 1: stay type thank you. You don't have to send me
- 40:00Speaker 1: with like a smiling like I don't need that.
- 40:02Speaker 2: So like happy Birthday with like like their own their
- 40:05Speaker 2: own avatar holding balloons.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna block you.
- 40:07Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 40:08Speaker 1: But you know, like what like there's knowledge is disparity, bro,
- 40:12Speaker 1: Like the more you know, the more you held accountable,
- 40:14Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So while we celebrating, while
- 40:16Speaker 1: people love the fact that we can in five seconds
- 40:19Speaker 1: know what's happening all over the world, it's really disparity
- 40:22Speaker 1: because you know what's happening on the world back then, bro,
- 40:25Speaker 1: before even the mirror was creating, you know, like the
- 40:28Speaker 1: mirror is a man made thing. Bro, they ain't had
- 40:31Speaker 1: no mirror, so how were they able to see themselves?
- 40:35Speaker 1: It was all internal, bro, all through the hospital. You
- 40:38Speaker 1: ain't know what you look like, so you.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Were so it didn't even I don't even think it mattered.
- 40:42Speaker 1: It didn't matter. So while they're while we celebrating advancement
- 40:47Speaker 1: in society, I think that we should also take heed
- 40:49Speaker 1: to the disparity and the lack of internal reflection. We
- 40:53Speaker 1: have our own reticular activating system. We got our own
- 40:56Speaker 1: internal clock and we but now we I need my
- 40:59Speaker 1: clock to tell me, I need my schedule to tell me.
- 41:02Speaker 1: How did they know where to be?
- 41:04Speaker 3: Right back then?
- 41:05Speaker 1: But they was always where they need to be.
- 41:07Speaker 3: I just think back to like how how in the
- 41:10Speaker 3: world could you get around?
- 41:13Speaker 2: Like I remember my parents we went on a road
- 41:17Speaker 2: trip and my dad bought an atlas book from the
- 41:19Speaker 2: gas station, and so he had to go through and
- 41:22Speaker 2: find the route and then like you you miss.
- 41:25Speaker 3: A turn, Oh you oh, you're fucked. Yeah.
- 41:29Speaker 2: But it's like even like even back back before, like
- 41:32Speaker 2: everyone had GPS and it was you had to print
- 41:34Speaker 2: the map, quest direction Hey, Bro, I was I was.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Definitely doing that, you know what I'm saying, and holding
- 41:39Speaker 1: the pave a wild driving. Yeah, but I think, you know,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I think that's why detachment is so important. I think
- 41:45Speaker 1: that's why meditation, prayer is still important as this world
- 41:49Speaker 1: becomes more advanced. Bro, It's something that will never change.
- 41:54Speaker 1: It's the fact that you can steal while you driving
- 41:56Speaker 1: a Tesla super call or or a flow on in whatever,
- 42:01Speaker 1: or on your phone. You can cut all that off, Bro.
- 42:04Speaker 1: You can go to the park and you can sit
- 42:06Speaker 1: in a damn grass, bro and feel the most since
- 42:10Speaker 1: the beginning the time that was there at least thought.
- 42:13Speaker 1: You know. I think then while we can, we should
- 42:15Speaker 1: hold on.
- 42:15Speaker 3: It's hard to disconnect from the matrix for even for
- 42:17Speaker 3: an hour.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but you should, I mean, but that's what I'm saying.
- 42:20Speaker 1: It's a practice. I think that we should practice it.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:23Speaker 1: You may not be no guru. And what I hate, KEM,
- 42:26Speaker 1: is the fact that conversations stuff that I'm saying gets
- 42:31Speaker 1: put into a conscious box of spirituality box, religion box.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Oh Bro, this is humanity.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Bro.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I'm just talking about you a human You're a human being,
- 42:40Speaker 1: not a human doing but you always doing shit, So
- 42:43Speaker 1: I'm just telling you to be I'm just saying, chill
- 42:46Speaker 1: your phone. That stuff gonna beat her. When you stuff,
- 42:48Speaker 1: it's gonna beat her.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Bro.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Like we're addicted, man. I mean it's funny because everyone's
- 42:53Speaker 2: talking about like when are we going to integrate with
- 42:56Speaker 2: technology officially? Obviously Elon is doing the neurolink and all
- 42:59Speaker 2: that we already are. This thing is an extension of
- 43:03Speaker 2: every human being. If you lose this, if you don't
- 43:06Speaker 2: have it, you feel broken, you panic, you feel naked.
- 43:11Speaker 3: So it's like we already are that.
- 43:14Speaker 1: And I saw this movie called Upgrade. You ever heard
- 43:16Speaker 1: the Upgrade?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah, fucking crazy movie. By the way, that shit was sick.
- 43:20Speaker 3: That movie crazy, super crazy. I think I was highest
- 43:22Speaker 3: ship when I watched it too.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Watched it three times, bro, just to make sure that
- 43:25Speaker 1: I caught everything that I saw, and it was. It
- 43:27Speaker 1: was crazy. But you know it's a message in it,
- 43:29Speaker 1: of course. Yeah, And that's why I say I think
- 43:31Speaker 1: that as this world continues to get advanced, holding onto
- 43:34Speaker 1: simple truths. Man, you know, you got yourself, you know
- 43:37Speaker 1: what I'm saying, And they're gonna add to you, but
- 43:40Speaker 1: you got yourself and the spirit and your soul and
- 43:42Speaker 1: the stillness, the stillness of the voice in it, so
- 43:44Speaker 1: pushing back from everything, solo tripping, Cold plunging, Bro, I.
- 43:48Speaker 3: Love cold plunge and I love cold three or four times.
- 43:51Speaker 3: I try to how cold you go forty.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I think forty between thirty five to forty degrees.
- 43:58Speaker 3: That's fucking yeah. Try to. I try to do like
- 44:01Speaker 3: thirty nine, forty, forty one, forty two.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I'm in there, bro, and I'll be I could get
- 44:05Speaker 1: I could get to.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Depending on how cold it is. I get to about
- 44:11Speaker 2: three minutes. But if it's like forty one forty two,
- 44:14Speaker 2: if I got a hommy like I could and we're
- 44:19Speaker 2: talking and me talking, or I can. When I do
- 44:21Speaker 2: the cold Plunch, I like to throw my headphones in
- 44:23Speaker 2: and call somebody. Yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Like it just keeps your mind off of the fact
- 44:28Speaker 3: that your fucking die.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I did something. I did something stupid one day. Bro.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, Bro, cause I gotta tell you
- 44:33Speaker 1: somebody that I would say confessial false to one another. Listen, Bro,
- 44:36Speaker 1: I did the Cold Plunch twenty minutes, Bro, twenty almost die.
- 44:40Speaker 2: It was pink almost died, Bro, And I even realized
- 44:43Speaker 2: I mean I would have been pink.
- 44:44Speaker 1: I was going through the shit today, you know what
- 44:45Speaker 1: I'm saying. So you know, like I just went inside
- 44:47Speaker 1: my It was like Goku and the hyperbolic CHAINB. But
- 44:49Speaker 1: like I was in there and I felt my brain
- 44:52Speaker 1: was and did you not realize you were in there
- 44:54Speaker 1: for that long? Realize it?
- 44:55Speaker 3: Bro?
- 44:55Speaker 1: And so by the time I realized it, I got
- 44:58Speaker 1: up and I went straight to the high you know
- 45:00Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Yeah, Bro, My I felt my uh
- 45:03Speaker 1: my level and my spleen whatever this area right here
- 45:06Speaker 1: it was frozen, bro. My feet were frozen. I was.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I felt myself like fade, not fading, but like I
- 45:12Speaker 1: I didn't you know what I mean, Like it didn't
- 45:14Speaker 1: feel right, and I was like I don't need to
- 45:15Speaker 1: go to the mercy wrong, bro, Like like this is crazy. Bro,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I ain't tell. I ain't even tell my people because
- 45:20Speaker 1: they were laughing.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Did you hit the hot tub just bro?
- 45:23Speaker 1: And but I did it immediately. So while I'm sitting
- 45:25Speaker 1: in there, I still feel my whole body froze minutes.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I will never ever in my life. I don't care whatever.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I ain't got none to prove, bro. But I was
- 45:35Speaker 1: I blacked out in there like I was. Really that's
- 45:38Speaker 1: the cold plunge. My, it's my safe place, bro. I
- 45:40Speaker 1: love it. I cold plunged like three four times a week.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Of course there's the health benefits, but just the mental
- 45:45Speaker 1: the mental benefits.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Yeah. I like to do like a hot sauna, then
- 45:49Speaker 3: the cold plunge and then back in the back and
- 45:51Speaker 3: the yeah.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Bro and so and just just working out, taking carry
- 45:55Speaker 1: your mont to carry your body so hard.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Eating so funny too, because like you know, I been
- 46:00Speaker 2: trying to do as good as I came on my
- 46:02Speaker 2: health and staying active. But it's like every year, like
- 46:06Speaker 2: a three month period where I just fall off the
- 46:09Speaker 2: fucking rails.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Like I get it. It's so hard.
- 46:12Speaker 2: It's funny, how like diet discipline and but but when
- 46:16Speaker 2: you because I really enjoy working out and hooping. Yeah yeah,
- 46:22Speaker 2: so like yeah, so like for me, I hate cardio,
- 46:26Speaker 2: but I could fucking go five on five like three
- 46:28Speaker 2: games in a row. I'll be dying, you know, but
- 46:31Speaker 2: it's fun. I don't think about that thing sucks and
- 46:33Speaker 2: I'm super competitive. So it's like, so I get into
- 46:36Speaker 2: like the habit of like playing basketball three or four
- 46:38Speaker 2: times a week.
- 46:39Speaker 3: It doesn't feel like I'm going to work out. I
- 46:41Speaker 3: love basketball, so let's go hoop.
- 46:43Speaker 2: You know, I'll be getting disappointed when I go to
- 46:45Speaker 2: the fucking y ms and I just got to fucking
- 46:48Speaker 2: shoot by myself.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:49Speaker 1: No, I don't like that.
- 46:51Speaker 2: But but it's it's such a it's such a like
- 46:54Speaker 2: you know, people got to I feel like there is
- 46:56Speaker 2: like a if you could find a way to make
- 46:59Speaker 2: the physical activity part something you enjoy. Yeah, Like I
- 47:02Speaker 2: know when Cook was losing weight, he was playing pickleball,
- 47:05Speaker 2: and he enjoyed it, not as.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Much as he enjoys the burgers though, the pickles. No pickleball.
- 47:12Speaker 1: You know, it's like it's like tennis, right, Bro, you
- 47:14Speaker 1: missed the bar. Bro you said, not as much he
- 47:16Speaker 1: enjoyed the burgers. I said the pickles.
- 47:18Speaker 3: Oh you did that?
- 47:20Speaker 1: That was that was a bar. Yeah.
- 47:21Speaker 2: I just thinking like, like everybody got to try to
- 47:23Speaker 2: be more healthier man, everyone. I mean, discipline, man, is
- 47:26Speaker 2: the number one thing that the world is lacking. That
- 47:28Speaker 2: that that mankind lacks. Bro, Whether like you said, it's
- 47:31Speaker 2: controlling your dick, whether it's controlling.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah, just I think, you know, just to show people,
- 47:37Speaker 1: like to make you real A good place to start
- 47:39Speaker 1: if you struggle with discipline is start with the smallest things.
- 47:43Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, like, don't go like, oh yeah,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I'm about to start disciplining them all off and the
- 47:47Speaker 1: arn hall all day and and.
- 47:49Speaker 2: You know, like when you get home, don't just throw
- 47:51Speaker 2: your clothes on the floor and then getting like no,
- 47:54Speaker 2: put your shit away.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Right like you know, you know, but something that simple
- 47:57Speaker 1: as making your bed up, you know the same. Have
- 48:00Speaker 1: the same mindset that it takes to make your bed
- 48:03Speaker 1: up in the morning. It's the same amount of discipline
- 48:05Speaker 1: it will take to do everything.
- 48:07Speaker 2: It's funny because everybody always says that if you can
- 48:09Speaker 2: make your bed in the morning every day, can do everything.
- 48:13Speaker 1: It's the same thing because you don't have to. Ain't
- 48:15Speaker 1: nobody looking most of it? Most of it and nobody's
- 48:17Speaker 1: in your room. It's something you're doing for you, right.
- 48:20Speaker 1: So if you apply that to you know, fitness, you
- 48:23Speaker 1: hear I mean to eating, to journaling, you know what
- 48:26Speaker 1: I mean to whatever?
- 48:28Speaker 2: Just a little bit, Hey, we gotta wrap up this
- 48:30Speaker 2: interview another one presented by Hardan Baby you already know

- 49:19Speaker 2: dot com. Use that promo code Bootleg right now or
- 49:23Speaker 2: Bootleg keV. I forget which one it is. I think
- 49:25Speaker 2: it's both. I think both work. Anyway, Let's get back
- 49:26Speaker 2: to the interview.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Do you do the journaling I brought everything. Yeah, it
- 49:30Speaker 1: keeps me from crashing up.
- 49:33Speaker 2: That's some ay, because it's like it's almost like, uh,
- 49:37Speaker 2: it's crazy because as like as the world has evolved
- 49:42Speaker 2: over the years, that's something that like is not. It
- 49:45Speaker 2: used to be like a really normal thing, right because
- 49:47Speaker 2: like I mean shit, when I was a kid, girls
- 49:49Speaker 2: would have diaries. It was like, Yo, I got you
- 49:51Speaker 2: a diary for your birthday. Nowadays, I don't know what
- 49:55Speaker 2: a kid would do if you bought them a fucking diary.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Like you know what I mean, Like true, No, it's
- 50:00Speaker 1: it used to be a thing you go, you'd go
- 50:01Speaker 1: to the store like.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Not like Barnes and Noble. You'd be like a Target
- 50:04Speaker 3: and they'd have a diaries. They don't have fucking diaries
- 50:07Speaker 3: of Target anymore, you know what I mean.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Journaling is a big practice of mind. And like I say,
- 50:12Speaker 1: that's what I mean by the marketing of not even
- 50:15Speaker 1: just the market, but the exposure because in my world,
- 50:18Speaker 1: like the place where I be, the people who are
- 50:22Speaker 1: we were just talking about journaling this morning. He got
- 50:24Speaker 1: upset this morning because he couldn't find his journal and
- 50:27Speaker 1: so it's normal where I'm like, well, my people, it's
- 50:30Speaker 1: normal versus I think that it's just and it's just
- 50:33Speaker 1: making stuff like I don't say, make it cool again,
- 50:35Speaker 1: but like it's just making stuff like Bro, it's litive
- 50:38Speaker 1: journal Bro, like it's it's it's I think it's gangs.
- 50:40Speaker 1: Therapeutic healing is gangster. B It's the most gangster thing
- 50:44Speaker 1: I ever did was Hell and address my trauma, forget
- 50:47Speaker 1: my mom and my daddy, bro and apologize. That's the
- 50:49Speaker 1: most gangs out of everything I've ever seen and done
- 50:51Speaker 1: in the streets, the most gangs shit I ever did
- 50:53Speaker 1: was Hell. And what's the slow down journaling? It's my thoughts,
- 50:57Speaker 1: it's me getting my my my thoughts out saying. And
- 51:00Speaker 1: I think that if we encourage that more, a lot
- 51:03Speaker 1: of these crash outs, a lot of a lot of
- 51:04Speaker 1: these situations that be happening, it would just be slower
- 51:07Speaker 1: to anger. You know what I'm saying, It'll be It'll
- 51:10Speaker 1: just be slower, bro, not saying like I know, I
- 51:12Speaker 1: can't say the world, but like Park said, I may
- 51:16Speaker 1: not change it, but I will spark the minds of
- 51:18Speaker 1: those that will. And I know that I have and
- 51:21Speaker 1: that's what I'm continued to do is to spark the minds,
- 51:24Speaker 1: the souls and the spirits. Even if I could just
- 51:25Speaker 1: get you to slow down a little bit, you might
- 51:27Speaker 1: get you just a thing. You know. That's why you
- 51:30Speaker 1: need to man, come on aj McQueen or come to
- 51:32Speaker 1: or whatever, because I'm gonna help you slow down. But
- 51:35Speaker 1: I'm still real. I'm still myself, Like I'm not some
- 51:38Speaker 1: fake person that goes to this building and change my
- 51:43Speaker 1: persona then come back out. Nah like this me.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't put on you don't put on the
- 51:48Speaker 2: the you know, you said this earlier, but like I
- 51:51Speaker 2: feel like back in the day, yeah, there was conscious rappers,
- 51:56Speaker 2: but it was like their image image does that makes sense?
- 51:59Speaker 1: I definitely agree. I definitely agree.
- 52:01Speaker 2: And so it was like when they're on camera when
- 52:03Speaker 2: they're doing shows, it was like, oh, you're like super conscious,
- 52:06Speaker 2: but then like you're also like not like you're yeah,
- 52:10Speaker 2: you're more like back then, you're more like Mason Puffy
- 52:12Speaker 2: than you are, like you know, the most death seeing.
- 52:15Speaker 1: You eat a pork chop sandwich, brother, and you said
- 52:18Speaker 1: that you don't eat swan like you know, like it's.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Just it's just I think that again, the wine is divine.
- 52:24Speaker 3: By the way, I love the swine.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Get that pork off your fork.
- 52:28Speaker 3: I love it. You went to Jamaica and didn't enjoy
- 52:32Speaker 3: the pork.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Not at all. I have some good fruits, some good mangos.
- 52:36Speaker 3: But of course, yeah, but you know what I'm saying.
- 52:39Speaker 3: But listen, Jesus, go to one of those little side
- 52:42Speaker 3: of the road spots. O.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Man, my mama used to make a real good pork
- 52:45Speaker 1: chop fried pork chop sandwich, you know what I mean.
- 52:47Speaker 3: And that sounds amazing.
- 52:49Speaker 1: We got into it, we got in to the argument
- 52:50Speaker 1: of the day. Because she's making some pork. I went
- 52:52Speaker 1: over to her. I got my mamat the hood. I
- 52:55Speaker 1: bought her. Yeah, yeah, bro, she ain't in the hood moment.
- 52:58Speaker 2: She's in Houston or in Saint Louis, okay, Joe Man,
- 53:00Speaker 2: in her own place and it's beautiful, right.
- 53:03Speaker 1: But she was making a porch chop of sandwich. And
- 53:06Speaker 1: I said, I said, get this swam off your mind.
- 53:08Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 53:09Speaker 1: She said, Boy, I've been eating pork my whole life.
- 53:11Speaker 1: It ain't done nothing to me. You need something, you know,
- 53:14Speaker 1: like and I and when I left, I was thinking,
- 53:16Speaker 1: I'm like, damn, she you know what I mean like
- 53:19Speaker 1: they used to some wild you know what I mean,
- 53:22Speaker 1: Like I've seen her eat.
- 53:23Speaker 3: A bowl of chickens and that's why I can't do
- 53:25Speaker 3: the chill.
- 53:25Speaker 1: But I could eat a burger and my whole body
- 53:27Speaker 1: make me feel.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Like you know what I'm saying, like if I if
- 53:30Speaker 2: that's the one thing, there's two things I'll never eat.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Chitlin's and then the Filipinos. They got some shit called bullet.
- 53:38Speaker 2: It's a half incubated bird egg.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm cool, And there's just two.
- 53:45Speaker 2: I can't do the intestines and I cannot do the
- 53:48Speaker 2: bird the half eaten like these like my homies in
- 53:51Speaker 2: the Philippines a week ago and he tried it, so
- 53:53Speaker 2: there's there's like feathers like.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't do.
- 53:58Speaker 3: But look b A l U T. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 54:02Speaker 3: most of my I was damn near saying all of
- 54:03Speaker 3: my Filipino homies don't fuck with it, but like their
- 54:05Speaker 3: grandmas used to eat it. You know, it's like a
- 54:07Speaker 3: thing out there.
- 54:08Speaker 1: And I just introduced one of my homegirls. Well yeah,
- 54:11Speaker 1: one of my homegirls to dragging fruit first time.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Never dragon fruit.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Yeah, dragon fruit change your life better and and it
- 54:21Speaker 1: helps you know, it helps everything flow properly. You know
- 54:24Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like good, it's amazing, bro, the yellow
- 54:26Speaker 1: dragon fruit preferably, you know what I'm saying.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Like, I just do blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, put them in
- 54:32Speaker 2: a shake with some yogurts, protein.
- 54:36Speaker 1: And dragon fruit, mango. You know what I'm saying. I'm
- 54:40Speaker 1: planting like and it's just again just balancing. Man. I
- 54:43Speaker 1: think that the world, the food and the as technology
- 54:47Speaker 1: is advancing, the food is advancing, and not.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Not in a good way way, not in a good way.
- 54:52Speaker 1: So the simple going back to the simple truth, I
- 54:53Speaker 1: think that everything that God made before we touched it
- 54:57Speaker 1: was good. So eat of the land, you know what
- 54:59Speaker 1: I'm saying, and spending time outside.
- 55:02Speaker 3: All that my uh my boy, chuck, he says. And
- 55:06Speaker 3: I'm trying. I've been. I've been on this like recently.
- 55:10Speaker 2: If it doesn't have a seed or never had a heartbeat,
- 55:13Speaker 2: don't need it, so it's like it comes in a bag.
- 55:18Speaker 2: If it's got like all that processful process. That's the
- 55:22Speaker 2: one thing that like I'm just hoping that there's like a.
- 55:26Speaker 3: There's anything positive to take from the administration that you know,
- 55:30Speaker 3: RFK is trying to ban like some of this ship.
- 55:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the blue, the blue number nine, the red dye,
- 55:36Speaker 1: and you know some of these seed oils. And I got,
- 55:39Speaker 1: I got a bar, I said, I said, I said,
- 55:42Speaker 1: you eating that processed food. You in a process move?
- 55:45Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. And I believe it. Like
- 55:47Speaker 1: your move, You're not you know what I'm saying, like,
- 55:50Speaker 1: because you are what you eat. Yo, yo, your stomach
- 55:52Speaker 1: is your second brain.
- 55:53Speaker 3: If you want to know how fucked we are, just
- 55:55Speaker 3: walk through the Cereal aisle. Cereal aisles crazy. I gotta stay.
- 56:00Speaker 2: They got they I just I was at roups like
- 56:03Speaker 2: two days ago and I was walking through the Cereal
- 56:04Speaker 2: aisle and they had and you know, I love me
- 56:07Speaker 2: some fucking cereal dog. You know what I'm saying all time,
- 56:13Speaker 2: it's gotta be apple Jack's Peanut Butter Crunch or.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Bro.
- 56:18Speaker 3: You wanted new ones, bro apple Jacks apple Jack's Peanut
- 56:22Speaker 3: Butter Crunch.
- 56:24Speaker 1: With a.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Crunches of course, that's on the that's on the That's
- 56:31Speaker 3: a grail. That's a grail for sure. It's start getting
- 56:34Speaker 3: soggy fast.
- 56:35Speaker 2: You know what's really good that's like a newer one
- 56:38Speaker 2: is the Captain Crunch all Berries. That Captain Crunch All
- 56:42Speaker 2: Berries is a fucking problem line.
- 56:45Speaker 1: You never a message. I'll be skipping a cereal hour bro,
- 56:47Speaker 1: because you know, everybody got a thrown on the side, bro, and.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Because you'd be like, damn they got I say to say,
- 56:52Speaker 2: they just released this whole line of glazed doughnut whole
- 56:55Speaker 2: flavored cereals in like different like brandeds, and I was
- 56:59Speaker 2: just like, Oh, they're just trying.
- 57:01Speaker 3: They just are trying to kill everybody.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I saw a sour Patch Kid cero bro.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I saw that. The sour Pat Bro. When
- 57:10Speaker 3: you're making sour Patch Kid flavored anything, what the fuck?
- 57:14Speaker 3: Who's eating that shit?
- 57:17Speaker 2: I went to Jack in the Box again, not the
- 57:18Speaker 2: best place to go to, you know, wasn't I was
- 57:21Speaker 2: in the Jack in the Box drive through line three
- 57:23Speaker 2: in the morning within the last thirty days and they
- 57:26Speaker 2: had a collab with Sour Patch Kids, and Jack in
- 57:30Speaker 2: the Box is currently selling and I speaking of discipline,
- 57:35Speaker 2: I was so fucking close to ordering this the because
- 57:38Speaker 2: it's the watermelon sour Patch Kid, which are the best
- 57:42Speaker 2: because you go to the movies, you get.
- 57:43Speaker 3: A little fucking watermelons.
- 57:44Speaker 2: I love watermelons and they're selling sour patch kid, watermelon
- 57:49Speaker 2: milkshakes and lemonade. I was so close to just to
- 57:54Speaker 2: fucking with that lemonade though, because there's no way that
- 57:57Speaker 2: that's not gas.
- 57:58Speaker 1: He's gonna get gas, all right.
- 58:00Speaker 3: But yeah we're fucked. Yeah it's great, but it sucks
- 58:04Speaker 3: too because it's like, you know, like when when you're
- 58:06Speaker 3: fucking struggling, bro, like the struggle meal back in the day,
- 58:09Speaker 3: it was like you go to McDonald's, you get the
- 58:12Speaker 3: mc double for a dollar. No, no, you get the
- 58:14Speaker 3: fries for a dollar. Or you know wherever they got
- 58:17Speaker 3: Jack in the box, you go get two tacos for
- 58:19Speaker 3: a dollar.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I was raising the food food does it, bro? So
- 58:22Speaker 1: I get it one hundred percent in Wilson in my
- 58:25Speaker 1: hood in Welson, there's no They'll tell you. I'll take
- 58:29Speaker 1: them to Wellston. Like, damn, bro, you can't find no nothing.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Everything is is hood.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Honestly, in Texas is like you certain areas in Texas
- 58:37Speaker 2: you're like, oh damn, that's why Texas, motherfuckers is bad.
- 58:40Speaker 2: If you're like out in the boonies of Texas and
- 58:42Speaker 2: you're just like, what do they got, Oh, they got
- 58:44Speaker 2: steak in shake and fucking Texas roadhouse.
- 58:48Speaker 1: And yeah, you know it's gluddeny and it's it's so
- 58:51Speaker 1: you know, we obeesis. People don't think it's just on
- 58:53Speaker 1: on the full level to America, man, America, this is.
- 58:56Speaker 3: Our this is our mindset. We are.
- 58:58Speaker 2: You know, there was that AI video that somebody from
- 59:01Speaker 2: trying to release that with viral of like what it
- 59:04Speaker 2: would look like if Americans had to make iPhones, and
- 59:07Speaker 2: it was like just like this like factory of like
- 59:09Speaker 2: fat people like on like oxygen.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Trying to fucking make iPhones.
- 59:17Speaker 1: That's wild.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Oh man, Yeah, no food is food is you know
- 59:21Speaker 3: it's a drug? Man, it is, it is.
- 59:23Speaker 1: And that's like I said, that's why you know my
- 59:25Speaker 1: music through my lifestyle. Like people go on my page
- 59:28Speaker 1: and my story right now, then see me like in
- 59:31Speaker 1: the kitchen like docing, bro, Like I'm gonna show you
- 59:33Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I'm a show cold plunging. If
- 59:35Speaker 1: we're gonna use it, if we're gonna use these devices
- 59:37Speaker 1: to market, don't show anything, but I'm gonna show the
- 59:39Speaker 1: real something that can help people, you know what I mean?
- 59:41Speaker 1: Like you click on my page, you're gonna see something different.
- 59:44Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, you're gonna you're gonna heart
- 59:45Speaker 1: you click on music, you're gonna heard you know, love
- 59:48Speaker 1: and life and you know what I'm saying, and and
- 59:50Speaker 1: and and and ship. That's good for your soul, you
- 59:53Speaker 1: know what I mean. And that's what we need more
- 59:54Speaker 1: because I believe it shows people like, Okay, that's more
- 59:56Speaker 1: to life. But if the media, mass media could se
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: to promote you know what I'm saying, the bullshit, that's
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: all people gonna gravitation is you know.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Saint Louis is one of those places that it's like
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: famously dangerous. Uh, you know, it's like it's kind of crazy.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I almost moved there. Actually, I almost took a job
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: at the radio station there.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Was it hot? What's the hip hop station there?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Is hot? Yeah, it's hot.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: That would have This was like twenty.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Twelve, went out there, ended up at the Pink Cadillac
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: or the Pink Slip and he's Saint Louis.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Yeahrip club Saint Louis Is, that's what.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I don't go over there, but very serious place over there. Yeah,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: but I almost moved there. And I remember back then
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: like my boy who was out there, was telling me
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: like yo, sh it's like serious out here. But it's
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: like now, it's like now it's number one, number two
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: at all times of like dangerous cities in America, Like
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: it's it's a war zone.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: It's like a certain parts of Saint Louis are still
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: segregated though, So that's why you would talk to somebody else.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: And it's beautiful here. I love it here, but they
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: on the whole other side, they not talking about none
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: of none of the areas that you're talking about. But
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the areas that you are talking about. That's where I'm from,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: from the west side, sexy origin from the north side.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Uh Nelly and them, you city, you know what I'm saying. Like,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: that's why when Nieling them came out, it inspired the
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: whole city, you know what I mean, because we ain't
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: never even seen like that somebody can come from this city,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And that's why making my
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: business to go back home. I just left home. Actually
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: we had a tornado that hit the city really lad,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: so I was out there, you know, donating, and you know,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I created the same Louis Relief fun and I partnered
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: with the Urban League out there. You know what I'm
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: saying helping them. And the city is horrible, bro, it's
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a it's a war zone, you know what I mean. Like,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and I don't encourage anybody to go. And if you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: don't have to beat there, don't whatever. Right, But again
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: me using who I me, being who I am, and
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: continue to represent my city even though I don't live
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: there actively, that's still you know, it's still my heart
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and so you know, to show that we can grow
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: from these places, bro Like, we can. We can get older, bro,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: we can, we can we can have healthy family bro Like.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: And I'm talking specifically to you know what I'm saying
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: that you know the wayians and the inspiring hy ens man,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean. We can grow, Broye. We can,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: we can evolve. You can, you can you can eat better, Bro,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you can live better. And and if you feel like that,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it's gonna stop you from being successful. Look at me.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I live, I don't. I'm
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: the same way what I got five dollars in my
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: pocket of five thousand. But just know that things are
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: real good over here, right, But again just showing showing
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that you know what I'm saying, Like, Nah, Bro, it's
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: a difference out here and we need to see more
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: of it. So yeah, that's why, that's why I've been
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: moving around. How moving I'm telling my team, I'm I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: don't even this is my first B t H week, right, Like,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I don't really do industry stuff, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: because it's really authentically myself and I only want to
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: operate in spaces that are authentic as well. But we've
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: been able to find a way to align ourselves with this,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the authentic spaces and not going to fake environments where
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: I gotta be all like, I don't want to take
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: a photo out of somebody that I don't really like,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I don't align with you know what I'm saying, I
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: don't want to rap with you, bro, if if if
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you don't take Cary, your kids and women.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Some crazy shit, But that's don't.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I don't care who you are, Like I don't. I
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: don't care who you are, how much money you got,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: It wouldn't even matter to me, bro, Like it don't matter.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: So now that we've been able to you know, create
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: these spaces and you know, be invited to platform like
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: yours different places, it really shows, like Okay, there's a
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: way to do this and still be authentic. You know
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: It is crazy how much we forgive people because we
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: love their art.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I just told somebody this other day. I said, hey,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I talk to homegirl and you're talking about life or whatever,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: and she's like, yeah, man, my family, fuck my momauck
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: my mama. I was like, oh, okay. But being the
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: same conversation, he posted something about uh no. She said
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: something some are k Kanye or some sort and I said, man,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: it's amazing how we we give uh Kanye more grace
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: than we do our family. And she was like, uh huh.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: He's a genius. And you just see like the you
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: can see the the rage. You know what I'm saying, Like, no,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I love I love Kanye. I got you, but you
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: literally just said fuck your mama. And I'm saying, but
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: you give more grace, And I just do. I think
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: that every time Kanye splash out there, you have this
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: certain group and only Kanye asn example.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: There's way more people, but that is a good example.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: But you know it's this, oh man, remember when he
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: made graduation.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Bro, However you feel about Kanye, he has more grace
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: than maybe anybody on the fucking planet.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: And all I'm saying because we love.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: His art so much, so people people will be like, yeah,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: but there's there's something deeper and like some of the
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: stuff he's saying, there's there's some deeper ship there right, No,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: for sure, but it's like, you know, but he's also
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: the same guy who's like, you know, it's just a
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: lot but right, So.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Using him as an example, and again, like you said,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: the other people as well, if we just extend that
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: same amount of grace to the real people that we know.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, in your real life, your
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: your your daddy, your mama, or your sister brother who
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: probably did some messed up ship or whatever whatever, but
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: we've been holding grudge on them. But you can go
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: play Graduation right now and be like, oh yeah, that's
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I think.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: It's just like it's obviously too. It's like that's not
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: like Kanye didn't personally do something to.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: You, right right, right right, We give we will throw
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: out all the principles if we fun with your album,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: we will.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Throw all the principles. And instead of applying those principles
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to real life at times, and like I say, and
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I I love Kanye, by the way, so I'm not
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: even I ain't one of them that's been a you know,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: bash him or anything like.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: That player because of him.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Man, I love I think how your genius.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: I think that.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I think that a lot of artists are too. But
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I just think that as we detached from the people
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: we don't know, the fake life, we start applying this love,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: grace and forgiveness to real people in real life, I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: think that we will find ourselves growing healing, you know
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: what I mean a lot of people in weaponizing uh
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: therapy and I hate that, a lot of people in
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: weaponize and consciousness and god, I hate it. But you know,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: let's get that. Let's get to a real place in
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: our real life, you know what I mean, Because it's
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: something like we got.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: I love it. Man, Well listen, what do you got
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: to You got a ton of music out?
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Man, I just dropped. I dropped the mixtape again,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: all independent, you know what I'm saying through even and
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: it's going still going crazy, you know. I mean, I'm
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: gonna wrap bro and all that be. I'll never do
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: nothing with the verses, bro, So let's show you the
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: amount of music I really do and write how much
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: I really write? That's for free bro. That was that
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: was nineteen tracks on that mixtape. I did a mixtape
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: before that, it was twenty three. I've never used some
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: verses again, I don't even use them on my on
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: my you know, my album.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: And the only way people can get that is it
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: will never hit DSPs.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Ye never hit d sps. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: You want it for real? Supports the art by direction?
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Can people buy that stuff? Like if you have a
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: live show, are you are you making physical media?
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: That not even stuff? Not not of that stuff. Now.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I dropped my album, my first album, Sorry Miles distracted.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I have vinyls, you know, I mean some people come
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to shows give vinyls to get merch all that. And
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I just wrapped up my new album, you know what
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I'm saying. So I got a new album that that
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: will be dropping in July and it's called When We Evolved.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: A features, Yeah, I got who features? I got a
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Cidi Hendrix out of Atlanta's hard to say that's my dog, Uh,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: Foggy Raw, you know what I'm saying. He he's dope,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he's out of Atlanta. He's he's he's dope. Earil J.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: He's amazing. I got some I got some other people too. Yeah,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I got some other people too. But it's it's it
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: come out of July and then then I'm the role
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: right after.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Bro.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. When we've off tour fifteen cities,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: And have you had like a O G like trying
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: to really embrace what you're doing it all?
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Like someone you could call it like I'm talking about,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: like you know a hip hop artist who's like successful
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: that like has maybe taken a liking to what you
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: got going on that you're able to kind of tap
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: into for advice or I'm.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Like, I want to say yeah and no, I think
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: that I have had a lot of people taping you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, m H I want I wouldn't
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: say they've extended the like hey, if you need something,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: and I have my own personal reasons for that, you
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, you know, But there has been
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: people that have reached out like all over you know
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying, you know, and hearing me and repost
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the music. But because I've pushed the independence wave and
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the confidence I have some people see me as a threat,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, which I don't understand why,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: but I believe that that's why. It's not as simple
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: as a you need something, call me. You know what
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I'm saying, I give you the game. It's because you know,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: dare I say, I want to be the greatest too.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So you know it's kind
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: of that that Jordan, you know what I'm saying, like like,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I want to be the greatest bro like you. If
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: there's a conversation you know, nas park oh all that
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: I want you to say, Jim Queen, you know what
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I'm saying. And because that's my energy when I you
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: know whatever, some people they may see it it's like, Okay,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: he don't need my help. But that ain't even the case.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: I'm I'm journeying through you know what I mean. And
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I respect all my legends. I love my legends. You
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: know what I mean, But I want to be in
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: that conversation with you. I don't want to be Yeah man,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: he was he was another whatever. Nah, I want to
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: be a j McQueen bro. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: one one of one and like some people you know
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: think I want to be the greatest rap of all time.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I want to be the greatest writer of all time.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Are you gonna try to do like other forms of
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: I'm continuing to write screenplay.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I I write, I write books. Brouh.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: I write poetry. Music is my is my meeting of
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the writing. You know, album and the poetry book would
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: be hard. It's it's I just wrapped up on what
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like it's called sitt yourself down. Yeah, so
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I haven't announced check you know. I mean maybe when
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: this dropped.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: That's a great that's a great way to again, like
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: you have, you have a following, So it's like yo, yeah, no,
