- 2:09Speaker 4: has committed to walk that narrow path. Jesus says that
- 2:14Speaker 4: the path of life is narrow and broad is a
- 2:18Speaker 4: road that leads to destruction. So we need to identify
- 2:21Speaker 4: those who are committed to walk that narrow path and
- 2:25Speaker 4: fellowship right, because we're not meant to do this on
- 2:28Speaker 4: our own. We are meant to be a body to
- 2:31Speaker 4: be the bright of Christ. We are meant to iron
- 2:34Speaker 4: sharpens iron. That means we are meant to make each
- 2:38Speaker 4: other stronger in our faith than in our walk. So yes,
- 2:42Speaker 4: that is who we are and that's what we are about.
- 2:46Speaker 4: So we do invite y'all to go on in, download
- 2:50Speaker 4: the app and rock with us. You know what I'm saying.
- 2:55Speaker 4: With that said, let's go ahead and pray. Emily, Father,
- 3:00Speaker 4: oh God, we asked for your grace, We asked for
- 3:03Speaker 4: your mercy. We asked, Father God, oh Lord, that you
- 3:06Speaker 4: will shine your countenness upon us today. God, we ask,
- 3:10Speaker 4: Oh God, that you will touch his podcast. And we pray,
- 3:13Speaker 4: Father God, that this podcast will touch the listener's Lord,
- 3:16Speaker 4: Oh God, use it as a missile. God, use it
- 3:19Speaker 4: as a target. Lord. Hit every heart, every mind, every soul,
- 3:23Speaker 4: every spirit. Let healing, Father God flow through this podcast,
- 3:28Speaker 4: Oh Lord. And I pray, Father God, Oh Lord, that
- 3:30Speaker 4: the darkness so God will be exposed in the mighty
- 3:34Speaker 4: name of Jesus Ain' man and Amen. All right, So
- 3:44Speaker 4: as we get back into the book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah
- 3:48Speaker 4: has been warning the nation of Judah over and over
- 3:52Speaker 4: again of immediate judgment, pending doom that is coming on
- 3:57Speaker 4: the nation. And once again they are ignored. They are
- 4:04Speaker 4: denied time and time again. And the Lord himself said,
- 4:12Speaker 4: don't even pray for them anymore, because I won't even listen.
- 4:17Speaker 4: The time of prayer, the time of mercy, the time
- 4:22Speaker 4: of restoration has passed, and so judgment is coming. And
- 4:29Speaker 4: then now here's a group of men who have decided
- 4:35Speaker 4: to put Jeremiah to death. They told him, do not
- 4:39Speaker 4: speak anymore in the name of the Lord. And so
- 4:45Speaker 4: Jeremiah is a great example. Jeremiah went to the Lord,
- 4:50Speaker 4: and he brought his case before the Lord shows us
- 4:54Speaker 4: that God will fight our battles. So we're going to
- 4:57Speaker 4: see the response of the Lord. The Bible says, hold
- 5:01Speaker 4: our peace, and he will fight for us. So if
- 5:04Speaker 4: we get that bad news right on our jobs, or
- 5:07Speaker 4: bad news from the doctor's office or in our family
- 5:10Speaker 4: and friends, bring that news before the Lord and allow
- 5:16Speaker 4: him to fight for us. Amen, allow him to take
- 5:20Speaker 4: up our case. I think that is a beautiful thing
- 5:25Speaker 4: right there. All right. So this is his response in
- 5:33Speaker 4: chapter eleven. Let's pick it up in verse twenty one,
- 5:40Speaker 4: as Jeremiah brought his case before him, and it says, therefore,
- 5:45Speaker 4: thus says the Lord, concerning the men of Anathos. Now
- 5:50Speaker 4: these are the men who threatened his life, who seek
- 5:54Speaker 4: your life, saying, do not prophesy in the name of
- 5:58Speaker 4: the Lord. Lets you die by our hands. Now, that
- 6:02Speaker 4: would be a threat, that would be a cause to
- 6:07Speaker 4: be concerned, That could cause them to be intimidated. There
- 6:13Speaker 4: is a lot right there that he has to deal
- 6:17Speaker 4: with now concerning the call his obedience, his faithfulness to
- 6:24Speaker 4: the Lord. Twenty two. Therefore, thus says the Lord of Host.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Now the Lord of Host means that he has command
- 6:36Speaker 4: of a great army. The Bible tells us that there
- 6:42Speaker 4: are so many angels in heaven to where you can't
- 6:45Speaker 4: even number them. You can't even count them. The Lord
- 6:48Speaker 4: of Host, behold, I will punish them. The young men
- 6:55Speaker 4: shall die by the sword. Now, do not touch the
- 7:01Speaker 4: Lord's anointed. The Lord does not play. This is his response,
- 7:05Speaker 4: and this is how he protects his profits. Their sons
- 7:10Speaker 4: and their daughters shall die by famine. So there's violence.
- 7:18Speaker 4: There's gonna be a lack of resources, and there shall
- 7:25Speaker 4: be no remnant of them. So that family line is
- 7:30Speaker 4: gonna die off. You do not mess with God's people,
- 7:36Speaker 4: and there shall.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Be no.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Remnant of them, for I will bring catastrophe. Now that's
- 7:48Speaker 4: pretty serious. He's gonna bring catastrophe on the men of
- 7:53Speaker 4: Anathos even the year of their punishment. Helllujah. I'm so
- 8:01Speaker 4: grateful to be on the lower side. And man, I
- 8:05Speaker 4: hate to be the person to resist the work of God.
- 8:10Speaker 4: I hate to be the person in opposition of God.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Working in the community, working in the city. I always
- 8:20Speaker 4: have to think back to my own experience, right. I
- 8:22Speaker 4: love to tell my own personal experience ministering in Vegas
- 8:29Speaker 4: for seven years. Through Club his Hot Las Vegas, I
- 8:36Speaker 4: connected and ministered with the local artists here and a
- 8:43Speaker 4: few of them came and ministered on the stage. But
- 8:47Speaker 4: something happened to where they some of them turned against me. Right.
- 8:53Speaker 4: They were like in opposition. They were speaking against me.
- 8:56Speaker 4: They were not supporting our shows, and they were other
- 9:00Speaker 4: people from coming out, and it was discouraging and disheartening.
- 9:07Speaker 4: But seeing the people who did that years later, you
- 9:15Speaker 4: kind of see the fruits of their life. A lot
- 9:17Speaker 4: of them are not in ministry. A lot of them
- 9:18Speaker 4: have failed marriages, some of them have been in car accidents.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Like a lot of those ministers aren't nowhere to be found. Now.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I'm not saying that God punished them. I mean, I
- 9:33Speaker 4: don't know. I don't know, but I would be careful
- 9:39Speaker 4: before I put my mouth on a movement of God,
- 9:44Speaker 4: you know what I mean. Like I know for sure
- 9:47Speaker 4: that God moved through Club Hiss Houp, Las Vegas. Now,
- 9:49Speaker 4: whether or not I made my mistakes and I had
- 9:52Speaker 4: to get dealt with which I have, is one thing,
- 9:56Speaker 4: But you do not. That's why I'm careful even talking
- 10:00Speaker 4: about pastors or different ministers or brothers and sisters We're
- 10:04Speaker 4: not supposed to gossip. We're not supposed to do that stuff.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Our warfare is not against flesh and blood. Now, if
- 10:12Speaker 4: there are issues, we're supposed to take them to the
- 10:15Speaker 4: Lord in prayer or God gives us a process on
- 10:20Speaker 4: how to deal with it. We go one on one
- 10:22Speaker 4: to the person. If they don't listen, then you bring
- 10:25Speaker 4: a witness, and then if they still don't listen, bring
- 10:27Speaker 4: them before the church. So God has a way to
- 10:30Speaker 4: deal with issues. But we're not supposed to turn against
- 10:34Speaker 4: the work of the Holy Spirit and work of God.
- 10:37Speaker 4: God brought calamity upon his family, and so amen. Verse
- 10:48Speaker 4: one of Chapter twelve, Righteous, are you a Lord? When
- 10:54Speaker 4: I plead with you? So's Jeremiah acknowledges his righteousness. Every
- 11:03Speaker 4: judgment of God is righteous, and we really need to
- 11:09Speaker 4: be careful because on the day of judgment, God said
- 11:13Speaker 4: He's gonna judge us by our own works, our own deeds.
- 11:17Speaker 4: He's gonna judge us righteously, and so we have to
- 11:20Speaker 4: be careful that our works and our deeds are righteous,
- 11:24Speaker 4: that we're producing good fruit, because we don't want to
- 11:27Speaker 4: be judged by bad fruit. Hey man, Now Jeremiah takes
- 11:35Speaker 4: it upon himself to have this conversation. But God, it says, yet,
- 11:40Speaker 4: let me talk with you about your judgments. Now he
- 11:46Speaker 4: was a little concerned, and he had questions. Now, this
- 11:49Speaker 4: question comes up in the Bible often. If you read
- 11:54Speaker 4: through the Book of Psalms, you read a lot of
- 11:57Speaker 4: prophets they asked this question. And let's get into it.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Why does the waves of the wicked prosper? A lot
- 12:08Speaker 4: of men of God and even today have a problem
- 12:12Speaker 4: with wicked people prospering, right, which is a legitimate question.
- 12:19Speaker 4: So why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You
- 12:25Speaker 4: have pleaded, I have you excuse me? You have planted them,
- 12:31Speaker 4: Yes they have taked root, they grow, Yes they bear fruit.
- 12:38Speaker 4: You are near in their mouth, but far from their mind.
- 12:47Speaker 4: So having you noticed, doesn't it seem like the wicked
- 12:50Speaker 4: people have no problems. It's like they're healthy, they're strong,
- 12:56Speaker 4: they don't have any health problems. Their children are strong,
- 12:58Speaker 4: they're happy, they're prospering. You see, with wicked people owned businesses,
- 13:07Speaker 4: own houses and homes, it just seems like everything is
- 13:11Speaker 4: going well with them. Right, And so Jeremiah is bringing
- 13:16Speaker 4: us before the Lord, and it says, we're already okay,
- 13:35Speaker 4: he says, right here. But you, oh Lord, know me.
- 13:40Speaker 4: You have seen me, and you have tested my heart
- 13:46Speaker 4: towards you pull them out like sheep for the slaughter,
- 13:54Speaker 4: and prepare them for the day of slaughter. How long
- 14:00Speaker 4: will you excuse me? How long would the land mourn
- 14:06Speaker 4: in the herbs of every field whither the beast and
- 14:11Speaker 4: the birds are consumed for the wickedness of those who
- 14:16Speaker 4: do well there because they shall, because they said, he
- 14:23Speaker 4: he will not see our final end. Amen. All right,
- 14:33Speaker 4: So let's break this down now. God knows us and
- 14:43Speaker 4: he sees us right. He has tried our hearts. In
- 14:49Speaker 4: other words, God puts us through tests. God will put
- 14:53Speaker 4: us to the test, and sometimes we will pass the test.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Sometimes we will fail the test. The bad thing about
- 15:02Speaker 4: failing the tests is that we have to test all
- 15:07Speaker 4: over again. We have to take that test in that
- 15:09Speaker 4: area all over again until we pass it. Right. God
- 15:14Speaker 4: doesn't grade on the curve, right. He wants us to mature.
- 15:20Speaker 4: So often when things start going bad, I think this
- 15:26Speaker 4: is a test and I want to pass it. I
- 15:30Speaker 4: don't want to go through this test all over again
- 15:35Speaker 4: right now, Even though He tests our hearts. The question
- 15:44Speaker 4: is why do you allow the wicked to prosper? Why
- 15:49Speaker 4: does it seem wicked men get over Now, I can't
- 15:57Speaker 4: think of the scripture off the top of my head,
- 15:58Speaker 4: but it's in the Book of some where the psawmons
- 16:02Speaker 4: had this question, and the Lord's response is that they
- 16:06Speaker 4: are walking on then ice, right, they're walking on slippery slopes.
- 16:13Speaker 4: The wicked. The hope of the wicked perish on the
- 16:15Speaker 4: day of death. Now that means is in the day
- 16:19Speaker 4: they could go to judgment, to their demise. God will
- 16:24Speaker 4: test us because he wants us to grow. You know
- 16:28Speaker 4: he we are his children, and so he will punish us.
- 16:32Speaker 4: He will chasing us because he is making us into
- 16:36Speaker 4: the image of his son, Jesus of Nazareth. Now, he
- 16:43Speaker 4: does not punish the wicked in that way as his
- 16:48Speaker 4: own child. The wicked belonged to the devil. The only
- 16:54Speaker 4: thing that he does for the wicked is he brings
- 16:57Speaker 4: them to repentance. He brings them into his face, and
- 17:01Speaker 4: then he deals with us as sons once we become
- 17:04Speaker 4: his children. So that's why the Bible says, do not
- 17:06Speaker 4: despise the day of chastening, because he corrects us like
- 17:11Speaker 4: his own dear children. Just like we've been reading here
- 17:14Speaker 4: in Jeremiah. God has been warning them, he's been correcting them,
- 17:19Speaker 4: and their indictment is the fact that they would not listen.
- 17:23Speaker 4: They would not take heed to God's correction, ay man,
- 17:29Speaker 4: and let us not make that same mistake. Hey man,
- 17:42Speaker 4: all right, where are we at verse five? If you
- 17:45Speaker 4: have run? Now that's the question, and he actually gives
- 17:53Speaker 4: his answer. But you know what, I want to dig
- 18:01Speaker 4: deeper in that because there's a lot to unpack in
- 18:04Speaker 4: that one. So let's go ahead and take our break.
- 18:09Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 18:13Speaker 5: is the hiss Hop radio show.
- 18:18Speaker 6: Shot rest shoe for myself, restor sure farm. He told

- 18:38Speaker 6: my soul. I'm letting him knock it out. He's telling
- 18:40Speaker 6: me all the oldest day, you know, clock it out,

- 18:57Speaker 6: I did that thing with no restrictions. But I'm gonna

- 19:03Speaker 6: needing persition. So who gonna tell me? Y'a ain't coughed
- 19:05Speaker 6: for this worker gifts me God himself. It's part of girl.
- 19:08Speaker 6: I feel like an outcast, no longer walking with this world.
- 19:11Speaker 6: All them demons teaming up, and they've been trying to
- 19:13Speaker 6: trick the girl. But I walk in Christ. No condemnation
- 19:15Speaker 6: that can't hit the girl if there's no applause that
- 19:17Speaker 6: even if nobody picked the girl. I just pray God
- 19:19Speaker 6: say well done, and you stick with the girl. I
- 19:21Speaker 6: fell down so many times and watch the devil kick
- 19:24Speaker 6: the girl get back up and always wanted a god
- 19:26Speaker 6: never said this world. Can't put my faith in anything. Yelp,
- 19:28Speaker 6: because it's on CHRISTI pearl real em see with a spell.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Can somebody get us keeping shaking? Nation said ever since
- 19:34Speaker 6: Christ's been living it up. Should have never let it out.
- 19:36Speaker 6: Should have knew I would, and I ain't talking splitting us.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Get it up and stuff they shook now ways I
- 19:40Speaker 6: get older. Everything ain't for the book, as I see
- 19:43Speaker 6: Christ more, everything ain't for the looks. Struggled with comparison,
- 19:46Speaker 6: comparing all my hopes. But I'm chosen for such a

- 20:24Speaker 6: I can get up and love Singing Sons twenty three hours.
- 20:27Speaker 6: You're still on in the bean. We starve a god
- 20:29Speaker 6: that can do it suddenly, we still a god that
- 20:32Speaker 6: can really set your free off. And if you listen
- 20:34Speaker 6: and then you feel unseen, or if you listen in there,
- 20:37Speaker 6: you don't have a dream or if you listen in
- 20:40Speaker 6: and you've been in between, trust God, don't give up
- 20:42Speaker 6: and just watch him in the bean. He got you.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Resation. You are listening to the light of Las Vegas.
- 21:20Speaker 5: This is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
- 21:39Speaker 4: All right, all right, we are back from the break
- 21:42Speaker 4: that was our sister kid Lee. Even though she did
- 21:46Speaker 4: change her name, but I don't know. I'm still calling
- 21:51Speaker 4: her kid Lee. I think it's Leandre or something like
- 21:55Speaker 4: that her new name is. But if you type in
- 21:59Speaker 4: kid Lee you can Stiller. We need to support our
- 22:02Speaker 4: front liners. Speaking of support, I want to shout out
- 22:05Speaker 4: the live chat shot on my brother's zone, the something
- 22:08Speaker 4: my brother was up with. Everybody, our brother could Corinth
- 22:12Speaker 4: and everyone who has come through the live chat and
- 22:15Speaker 4: supported us. We appreciate it and we need to keep
- 22:19Speaker 4: this ministry going. We believe that God is using it,
- 22:23Speaker 4: that it's needed, So keep us in prayer. You know,
- 22:28Speaker 4: the enemy tries to distract us sometimes, but he can
- 22:31Speaker 4: now win. Amen. That was time for the accountability partner segments.
- 22:38Speaker 4: As I said in live chat, we jump in here,
- 22:40Speaker 4: we pray for each other, we encourage each other, and
- 22:44Speaker 4: we also do a call after the podcast. So if
- 22:48Speaker 4: you want some one on one prayer time, or whatever
- 22:52Speaker 4: it is you may be dealing with that is available
- 22:56Speaker 4: to you as well. Amen. The accountability partner is you
- 23:02Speaker 4: call your or text or email your accountability partner, and
- 23:07Speaker 4: you do these daily challenges right, different topics or even
- 23:12Speaker 4: exercises we need to do. And hopefully you guys are
- 23:15Speaker 4: actually doing this because I believe it will aid you
- 23:20Speaker 4: in your walk with the Lord. Now, today's challenge is
- 23:26Speaker 4: to trust God even when you don't understand his timing. Right,
- 23:33Speaker 4: So today's message Jeremiah was faithful to God, yet people
- 23:37Speaker 4: plotted to kill him. Then in chapter twelve, Jeremiah asked
- 23:42Speaker 4: a question many of us have asked, why does the
- 23:47Speaker 4: wicked prosper? Why do they proper prosper? Why does the
- 23:53Speaker 4: wicked prosper? In twelve one? Now, maybe you've been doing
- 23:59Speaker 4: what's rights while watching others seem to succeed by doing
- 24:04Speaker 4: what is wrong. Now the challenge is call your accountability
- 24:16Speaker 4: partner and ask him. Are you trusting God's timing even
- 24:21Speaker 4: when life doesn't seem fair? Right, we have to trust
- 24:25Speaker 4: in God's timing. Are you becoming bitter because of someone
- 24:32Speaker 4: else's success? The Bible tells us to guard against the
- 24:36Speaker 4: root of bitterness. And also, how can I pray for
- 24:43Speaker 4: you this week as you continue to walk by faith?
- 24:49Speaker 4: Hey man, all right, that is your assignment for today. Also,
- 25:06Speaker 4: I want to let you know that His Hop Radio
- 25:09Speaker 4: is a monitored in a reporting radio station. We don't

- 26:03Speaker 4: Bible knowledge. Amen. Now according to Jeremiah twelve to one,
- 26:10Speaker 4: what difficult question did Jeremiah ask God? What was the
- 26:17Speaker 4: difficult question that Jeremiah asked God. God doesn't have any
- 26:23Speaker 4: problem at all with difficult questions. Amen, that's time for
- 26:41Speaker 4: our community shoutouts. I just want to encourage you guys
- 26:47Speaker 4: to go to our YouTube page. On our YouTube page,
- 26:53Speaker 4: we do have an interview we just did with the
- 26:57Speaker 4: chaplain of the Houston Rockets, our brother Damien. It was
- 27:04Speaker 4: a great, great interview. We just did an event with
- 27:10Speaker 4: the NBA Chapelains down at the Junile Detention Center. By
- 27:16Speaker 4: the Summer League game was happening here in Vegas. Hey man,
- 27:20Speaker 4: the NBA was out here representing, So keep us in prayer.
- 27:25Speaker 4: This is our fourth year doing it. So check that
- 27:27Speaker 4: out on YouTube. And our next event is that Resort

- 29:03Speaker 4: That is my time for today. But we're not gonna
- 29:06Speaker 4: leave out of here without any final comments. Right. So
- 29:11Speaker 4: today's study reminds us that even great men and women
- 29:15Speaker 4: of God will ask hard questions. Right. Jeremiah wasn't weak
- 29:21Speaker 4: because he questioned God, not at all. He was faithful
- 29:28Speaker 4: because he brought his question directly to God instead of
- 29:32Speaker 4: walking away from him. Now, maybe you've looked around and
- 29:38Speaker 4: wondered why this honest people seem to succeed while faithful
- 29:43Speaker 4: believers struggle. Jeremiah, he asked the same question right now.
- 29:54Speaker 4: God's response was simple. Sometimes God doesn't just remove the trial.
- 30:06Speaker 4: God will strengthen the believer in the midst of it.
- 30:09Speaker 4: So don't compare your journey to someone else's. Stay faithful,
- 30:14Speaker 4: keep praying, they keep serving God, keep trusting God. God's
- 30:21Speaker 4: justice may not always be immediate, but it is always certain.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Hey man, now let's pray out, And before we do,
- 30:40Speaker 4: I just want to thank you for joining me for

- 30:58Speaker 4: that God sees, God, God knows, and God is stilled
- 31:03Speaker 4: in control. Amen, allelujah. Just because he delayed his judgment
- 31:08Speaker 4: doesn't mean that he doesn't see or he is not concerned.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Just think about it. God loves those people, loves them too.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Those are His children as well that he's trying to redeem.

- 31:29Speaker 4: All right, let's pray out, Heavenly Father, thank you for
- 31:34Speaker 4: the honesty of Jeremiah. Through his example, we see that
- 31:40Speaker 4: you invite us to bring our questions, our struggles, and
- 31:45Speaker 4: our burdens to you, Oh God, Lord, when we see
- 31:50Speaker 4: the wicked prosper and life doesn't seem fair, help us
- 31:56Speaker 4: not to lose heart, strengthen our faith to trust your
- 32:01Speaker 4: perfect timing even when we don't understand your plans. Lord,
- 32:08Speaker 4: We ask Lord for endurance. Lord, to keep running the
- 32:11Speaker 4: race that you've called us. To help us to remain
- 32:15Speaker 4: faithful when we miss, when we are misunderstood, Oh God,
- 32:22Speaker 4: when we're oppressed, Oh God, and when we're discouraged, God,
- 32:25Speaker 4: remind us that your justice is perfect, your promise never fails,
- 32:32Speaker 4: and your presence is always with us. Thank you Father,
- 32:37Speaker 4: and we ask this Lord in Jesus' name. And remember
- 32:41Speaker 4: it's not about us, It's all about the Christ in us.
