- 0:08This is the Gunter Failing a podcast.
- 0:10Our podcast is developing very good.
- 0:12We have over 140,000 followers on X and also 17,000 on YouTube.
- 0:18And it's with the prominent guests which gives us the honour
- 0:22that we can discuss world affairs.
- 0:24And I'm very happy here from Austria to have a friend and
- 0:28important expert and leader of Qatar, who is the opposition
- 0:33leader of Qatar. And Mr. Khalid, I'm very happy
- 0:36that you take time. I think you are basically in
- 0:40exile in the United Kingdom because Qatar, unfortunately is
- 0:45not a democracy. We are very dependent on Qatari,
- 0:48I guess in Europe. We want to understand what's
- 0:52exactly going on in Qatar and maybe first of all, you can
- 0:55introduce yourself and then we will discuss the situation of
- 0:58Qatar, the Middle East, and also the current crisis and the
- 1:03situation with Iran. I'm very grateful that you take
- 1:06time, Mr. Khalid. The floor is yours.
- 1:10Thank you very much for this introduction and it's my
- 1:13pleasure to be here today. And it's very simple.
- 1:17I'm a local Qatari citizen. My name is Khalid Al and I
- 1:21started the Qatari youth movement back in 2010 and 2014.
- 1:28I, I made the official announcement of the youth party
- 1:34and then we moved into Qatar National Democratic Party, which
- 1:39has been active since then. So.
- 1:44As you of this party. Couldn't hear you what you say
- 1:49you are the. President of the Party of the.
- 1:51Yes, yes, I am the leader of Qatar National Democratic Party
- 1:56and we did pressure. We've been pressurizing the
- 1:58Qatari government since 2009 for having an election in the
- 2:05parliament. They promised us 2013 and then
- 2:10we held the election in 2020 plus and then they cancelled the
- 2:16whole democracy a few years ago. They have cancelled the
- 2:21elections completely. They have cancelled the whole
- 2:25election because they started to lose power within the
- 2:28constitution and the Qatar government was not happy about
- 2:30that. So they've been describing
- 2:33themselves in the West as a constitutional monarchy system
- 2:36and that's what how they are putting pushing themselves in
- 2:39front of the West. But they cancelled the whole
- 2:43election in Qatar because they started to believe that the
- 2:47founders families of Qatar are not happy and they will start to
- 2:51lose the power. Tell me, Mr. Khalid, what we
- 2:55have to take from the Qatar government and the Qatar at the
- 2:59moment. Is it a friendly country to
- 3:01Europe or to the West, or is it a unfriendly country?
- 3:05Is it part of the hostile alliance which we have with
- 3:09Russia and Iran as enemies, or is it a friendly government?
- 3:14First of all, Qatari people has no say in any of what the
- 3:18government and regime of Qatar do or say is an absolute
- 3:22monarchy system run by one man and a few people surrounding
- 3:26him. They choose to be an Islamist
- 3:30propaganda machine government. They choose to host Hamas, They
- 3:35choose to host Taliban. They choose to host a lot of
- 3:41terrorist organisations like the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 3:44Years ago in 1999, everyone in the world saw first time Osama
- 3:50bin Laden on Al Jazeera channel and since then we only see an
- 3:56Islamist media narrative that the Qatari government adopted.
- 4:02The main reason they do that, they do believe that if they
- 4:05choose that narrative, they will be controlling a lot of
- 4:09Islamists in the world and they could play with the people,
- 4:14emotions and the Middle East by the name of God.
- 4:19Tell us also more or less, Khalid, we have to understand
- 4:22Qatar today as a hostile regime to the West.
- 4:26Is not a friendly Qatar regime, is not a friendly country to the
- 4:30West. It's an enemy of the West.
- 4:33They are sponsoring and supporting anti European values.
- 4:39France all the way. Wherever you find the problem.
- 4:43If there is a kidnap, if there is, if there is money
- 4:47laundering, if there is Islamist support.
- 4:49All being sponsored and supported by Qatar.
- 4:53All of us knows the story of Tareq Ramadan, for example,
- 4:56grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood movement.
- 5:01Qatar supported him big time in media and they still supported
- 5:05him. They put a lot of pressure on
- 5:07the on the on Hinda Ayari, the lady who who actually accused
- 5:14Tarak Ramadan of rape. They try to buy silence.
- 5:19They always try to pressurize like governments, like even
- 5:23French government macro. They've been telling them you
- 5:26have to close the case against Nasr Al Khaleifi because it will
- 5:30affect the government of Qatar. Whenever there is any European
- 5:36values you find Qatar is supporting exactly the opposite
- 5:42and they are buying their own fronts and their way into the
- 5:46European Parliament. You've seen recently there was
- 5:49one European MP which being actually catch getting money
- 5:54from Qatar. How many other MPs and how many
- 5:57other officials in the European Union being sponsored by Qatar
- 6:02and is not being find out yet? It's a matter of time to find
- 6:05out who they buy and why they buy and what and what is their
- 6:09own agenda. During the World Cup you could
- 6:13understand a little bit that the corruption happened in the
- 6:16European Union and especially in the European Sports Committee.
- 6:23It was because they wanted to influence the votes we all see
- 6:29in the corruption deals that happen.
- 6:31A lot of people being like being accused officially of getting
- 6:36bribes from Qatar for the 2022, That's their own method.
- 6:41But they're getting away with this all the time because there
- 6:44is a lot of people on the payroll that on their own good,
- 6:49they don't want to push this forward.
- 6:54Qatar today is a center of global corruption in the West,
- 6:58in the in Brussels and in Washington.
- 7:01They are not only the main hub of corruption, they are a
- 7:07corrupted regime, and they are buying their influence toward
- 7:13the European Union, toward the American institution and the
- 7:17Constitution of America as well. You could see, for example,
- 7:20they've been pushing in the media in America that Qatar is
- 7:24the best ally of America. They have the largest air base
- 7:27in the world. But when the story came to
- 7:30American interest in fighting Iran, they go to America.
- 7:34They say, oh, you cannot use our base.
- 7:37So what type of an ally is that? So why we would spend a lot of
- 7:41money and keep our airplanes there in Qatar?
- 7:45And are they our friends or the Iranian government friends?
- 7:51Everyone knows in 2019 Iran pressurized Qatar to leave OPIC
- 7:57in 2019 and Qatar left OPIC for Iran and they've been focusing
- 8:02on the LNG for the for the gas and Qatar, Iran sharing the
- 8:10largest gas field in the world and the Iranian regime doing to
- 8:17due to the sanction. They basically using the Qatari
- 8:22government to sell on their behalf as well.
- 8:25And no one is watching. They've been a lot of big deals
- 8:28recently with China and that deals, a lot of money is going
- 8:32basically to Iran and they are buying their they're buying
- 8:37their existence with the Iranian regime and the Americans and the
- 8:41Europe as well by lying to each other.
- 8:43And always we say a friend of everyone is the enemy of
- 8:47everyone. Tell me about the relation of
- 8:50Qatar today with the other Gulf Cooperation Council members is,
- 8:55I mean seemingly there was also a crisis in 2017 ongoing.
- 8:59How is the relation with Saudi Arabia?
- 9:012014 they had a conflict, 2017 they had a conflict, and after
- 9:082014 they actually signed with King Abdullah.
- 9:10They lied to him, and then they came back to the same agenda and
- 9:142017 the crisis established again.
- 9:19They signed a deal in 2020. The only issue we can see now is
- 9:24that most of the issues being raised by the GCC countries in
- 9:27that in that time it still exists support of Hamas, Al
- 9:33Jazeera, media narrative and all of that is still there.
- 9:36And Qatar now choose to play different game, a dirty game
- 9:39with their their own neighbors. They said, OK, we can be their
- 9:42friends, we can still be friends with UAE, friends with Saudi
- 9:46Arabia. But we are at the same time we
- 9:49make problems between between them.
- 9:51So they go to their enemies, for example, and Houthis in Yemen.
- 9:54OK, say this about UAE in Saudi Arabia to make a problem.
- 9:59For example, they they create a fake narrative that UAE funded
- 10:06the front and funded Houthi or want to pay Houthi to actually
- 10:10hit Saudi Arabia in Newham. All of this sort of games is
- 10:14actually just, you know, a fake news that the Qatari government
- 10:18to create and let the world believe it by pushing it in
- 10:21their own media. If you go see who basically was
- 10:25pushing that stories and narrative, you will find same
- 10:29people for many years they've been pushing the stories of the
- 10:32Qatari government in the media. So they are part of a propaganda
- 10:36machine and they basically using it now to revenge from their own
- 10:41neighbors. So the GCC countries now need to
- 10:44think and actually need to reconsider of what the Qatari
- 10:49regime is doing now. They have no options.
- 10:51They have only one options either.
- 10:54They look after their own national security or the Qatari
- 10:58government will start again. And they are actually never
- 11:01stopped supporting the oppositions of the GCC
- 11:04countries. If you see now, for example, in
- 11:07social media, there was a lot of fronts NGOs against Saudi
- 11:11Arabia. But when the war between Saudi
- 11:14and UAE happened recently, the media war have seen the same
- 11:20fronts that been sponsored by Qatar.
- 11:24They become pro Saudi and and take UAE.
- 11:27That's crazy. So someone behind it.
- 11:30I mean an opposition is an opposition.
- 11:32If you were talking all the time.
- 11:34For example, there was an account in Arabic called Nauer
- 11:37Hariya. That account was basically
- 11:39focusing on human rights angle in Saudi Arabia.
- 11:42They've been saying Saudi's been doing 12345.
- 11:45But this since the conflict between Saudi and UAE started
- 11:49the same fronts being actually just anti UAE and anti Israel
- 11:55and anti the West interest in the Middle East.
- 12:02We have actually very good relation as European Union with
- 12:05our friends from Kuwait, from the United Arab Emirates and
- 12:10even with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- 12:12And the idea is basically now after we have concluded a free
- 12:15trade agreement with Mercosur, with India, now the next plan is
- 12:20Australia and of course the Gulf Cooperation Council.
- 12:23Do you support such an agreement or should we include or exclude
- 12:28Qatar from such an agreement with the European Union?
- 12:31Qatar should be, should be sanctioned.
- 12:33First of all, the Qatari government should be sanctioned.
- 12:36European Union have their own standard operating procedures.
- 12:41How they could accept such a regime, A Qatari regime, an
- 12:45absolute monarchy system. One man Shaw, who agrees to wake
- 12:49up in the morning, he said OK, give Hamas 100 million.
- 12:52No one from the country can say to him no, because there's no
- 12:55constitution in Qatar. If you want to be friends of
- 12:58Qatar, then you have to correct Qatar.
- 13:00You have to make sure the the money is not coming against the
- 13:05European values. The money is not coming against
- 13:09the interests of United States, the interests of the existence
- 13:12of of Israel, which is a friend of European Union as well.
- 13:16So all of that has to be put into the consideration.
- 13:20I do support sanctions on the Qatari government.
- 13:24At least Qatari government would be transparent about how they're
- 13:28spending their money and where they're spending their money
- 13:31because it's been affecting the Qatari people.
- 13:33They've been stealing our wealth.
- 13:36No one can actually ask them where you've been spending the
- 13:39money. And the European Union doesn't
- 13:41really understand where this is going.
- 13:43For example, in Qatar have a lot of arms within the European
- 13:48Union. You've seen in how they
- 13:51converted the Spanish regime to be a pro Qatar all of the sudden
- 13:55and France and other in UK, they support all the Muslim
- 14:00Brotherhood NGOs. All of this is actually a big
- 14:04issue, a fundamental issue to be corrected.
- 14:07I'm not against the interest of my country, but I'm against the
- 14:12the approach my country is taking because no one is
- 14:15actually monitoring what they do it.
- 14:17If there was a constitutional monarchy system and there was
- 14:21laws on place to control the money, then we have no problem.
- 14:25If we say OK, if Qatar supported terrorism based on the agreement
- 14:32of every single person of Qatar a constitution, then you can say
- 14:37the Qatari regime and Qatari people want actually to sponsor
- 14:41Hamas. I want to sponsor terrorism.
- 14:43But now it's a one man show. He decide he's the one who write
- 14:47the he's the one who can say whatever he want to say and
- 14:51whatever he want to do. And that's our problem.
- 14:53We want to correct that. We want to fix the
- 14:56constitutional system in Qatar and we want to have to focus
- 15:00more in democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of freedom of
- 15:07religion, freedom of anything the Qatari people want to have.
- 15:11So for now we cannot participate in any political decisions.
- 15:18We cannot participate in any decisions of how we spend our
- 15:22money in Qatar or who we want to host.
- 15:25We don't want how much people in Qatar who decided to host, how
- 15:28much people in Qatar is one man. It's not us.
- 15:31So we don't want to have issues with Israel.
- 15:34We don't want Ireland to air strike us because of what they
- 15:38doing. We don't want that problems or
- 15:40what you want to live in peace and we want to be par of the
- 15:44future of Qatar. Tell me about your vision for
- 15:48governance of Qatar in the future.
- 15:50If you would be the Prime Minister or I don't know, the
- 15:53the the King of Qatar, how would you govern this country and how
- 15:59would you use this enormous resources and the enormous money
- 16:02which Qatar has? What would you do with this
- 16:05money? Would you also bribe European
- 16:08parliamentarians, US Congressmen by media and support terrorism?
- 16:12Or how would you run your country if you were in power?
- 16:16The first thing, the only reason for me to buy influence is
- 16:24because I'm doing something wrong.
- 16:26Qatar, because they keep doing wrong stuff, they want to cover
- 16:30it, so that's why they buy the influence.
- 16:34I don't need to buy my influence if I do good things and I don't
- 16:40criminalize my own people. I don't take their own rights.
- 16:44I would not find any problem with Europe.
- 16:46I would not find any problem with my own people and with the
- 16:50West. So for us, we do believe a
- 16:52constitutional monarchy system, we're going to work in Qatar.
- 16:56Because once you involve people in the power and participation
- 17:01of deciding the future of your own country, then everyone will
- 17:06be happy to be part of that country.
- 17:08Now why people has to go in exile to be part of the
- 17:14decisions of the government of Qatar?
- 17:16I can't wake up one day and for the king to decide that, OK,
- 17:21today I want to give Hamas $100 million.
- 17:24Nobody can question me. For us, even the Ministry of
- 17:29Ministry of Finance and Qatar, Central Bank of Doha, they have
- 17:34no standard operating procedure that is monitored by anyone.
- 17:40It's basically everything is covering each other the way the
- 17:44king wants and that's not what we want.
- 17:46Like I know Tamim on a personal level.
- 17:50I know Tamim like I am talking to you now.
- 17:55I understand his brain. I know the way he think.
- 17:59The only issue is Tamim. He's an angry man.
- 18:03He is very aggressive man. When it comes to a conversation,
- 18:08you don't want to listen. Even every Tuesday, royal
- 18:13family, people of Qatar, they go actually visit him in his own
- 18:17majlist. The way he deal with them, he
- 18:20don't respect him. He don't give them their own
- 18:22rights, their own royal family, complaining about how much small
- 18:28salaries they get in and why he's giving his own brothers and
- 18:33direct cousins much more money than what he gave to the normal
- 18:38royal families. The founder of families of
- 18:40Qatar. What people don't know that his
- 18:43own mother, Shekhar Mozza, her father, was the leader of Qatari
- 18:49opposition. They made peace in 1970.
- 18:53That's why his own father married Shekhar Mozza.
- 18:57They said, OK, we can live together again.
- 18:59The country can be united. Then within years, things
- 19:06started to come back to the same military. 1996.
- 19:10They said, OK, this is the new Qatar.
- 19:13The new Qatar will have a normal relationship with Israel.
- 19:16They invited Shimon Berez and Qatar at the same time.
- 19:21They was hiding Khalid Sheikh Muhammad, the mastermind of 911.
- 19:27There was giving him money, giving him salaries, and there
- 19:32was working against the American interest.
- 19:35In 99, we started to see different narratives.
- 19:40Al Jazeera started officially supporting people like Osama bin
- 19:44Laden. Who knew about Osama bin Laden?
- 19:47No one, only Qatar. Only the Qatar government knew
- 19:50how to go to his office. The way Qatari work is not
- 19:54actually based on diplomacy. Tamim could wake up now and say,
- 19:58oh, there is a conflict in Djibouti, let's go and mediate.
- 20:03But we don't have any role now. What can we do?
- 20:06Oh, let's kidnap, let's ask Taliban to kidnap some British
- 20:10citizens. And then we tell the the British
- 20:13people that we can mediate. So a lot of mediation happened
- 20:17recently. Is basically because Qatar have
- 20:21direct relationship with Taliban hostages from Britain.
- 20:25Even American journalist with the OK, before we used to accuse
- 20:30Qatar, for example, Qatar regime of having a close relationship
- 20:34with Al Nusra Front. In that time it was a terrorist
- 20:38organization which is currently ruling Syria.
- 20:41Qatar was denying, it said no, we didn't do anything.
- 20:45I was putting evidence, financial evidence.
- 20:47Qatar is giving them money, they support them.
- 20:50No one believed in the war. They said no, Qatar is just like
- 20:52this. What happened now?
- 20:55The whole world seen how Qatar pushed the narrative so strong
- 21:00with Americans. They put that guy in front of
- 21:04Trump, they put acceptance. Europe still didn't swallow Al
- 21:09Jolani the the the AL Nusra. Yes, they didn't swallow him
- 21:17until now yet. But Qatar working very hard for
- 21:20acceptance. Now we.
- 21:23Hoping for for him for Archolani in Syria.
- 21:26Did we prove now that Qatar been actually supporting Al Nusra
- 21:31Front? Yes, because Qatar put him
- 21:35actually in power. And now how could you accept a
- 21:40former ISIS member and leader of one of the biggest terrorist
- 21:47organization to change his abaya or thought to wear his own suit
- 21:54and being accepted by the West? So did he actually.
- 21:58It's terrible. Now he's killing the truce, he's
- 22:01killing the Olivia. He is a real disaster, Mr.
- 22:05Sholani in Syria, and this is with the money of Qatar.
- 22:10This is absolutely with the money of Qatar, with the
- 22:12influence of Qatar now, I warn the West.
- 22:15I've been warning Britain for a long time, if you don't stop the
- 22:21Muslim Brotherhood and you don't criminalize them in the West,
- 22:24your next Prime Minister will be grandson of the Muslim
- 22:28Brotherhood founder, will be the grandson of Osama bin Laden.
- 22:32You see now in Uka lot of councillors, a lot of mayors.
- 22:37They basically come from we're not racist.
- 22:41I'm not talking about racism. I'm talking about a country
- 22:45that's been run by its own people, but the democracy have
- 22:50been changed, it's been accepted.
- 22:52Even you cannot speak the the language, you have different
- 22:56value. You are applying to be a
- 22:58counselor, for example, or a mayor.
- 23:01And you say publicly on TV that you should not be friends with
- 23:05Christians and Jews because they would never accept you to be
- 23:08part of They will not accept you.
- 23:12At least you follow their own religion.
- 23:14This sort of messaging is anti western values.
- 23:19For me the same thing I think about the West.
- 23:23I thought about it in Qatar. What I didn't like in Doha is
- 23:28when you go to mosques like Sara Mosque, an industrial area, and
- 23:34you find people wearing like Taliban clothing with their own
- 23:38stick in my own country to protect that mosque, you show to
- 23:43the word that this country cannot protect themselves.
- 23:47Why you do that? So when you come to a W, can a
- 23:51normal English person or can a European person comes to Qatar
- 23:56next day and say I want to buy this mosque to convert it to a
- 24:01church? If you do that, you would be
- 24:04killed by the people of the people of Qatar.
- 24:07So why here Qatar sponsoring France and NGOs and mosques to
- 24:13buy churches to convert them to be mosques?
- 24:17You are provoking the society. If you don't know how to be
- 24:21friends of for the West, don't provoke the people.
- 24:25So don't work against their own value.
- 24:26It's their own country. Respect their religion, respect
- 24:29the way they live, respect their heritage the way they respect
- 24:33the way you want to live. So if they decided to be
- 24:36whatever they want to be. So at least tomorrow Qatar will
- 24:41get a say. Fine, we will do the same.
- 24:43You can buy our own mosque, you can buy our own base.
- 24:47We have no problem. But do not push that narrative
- 24:51and you don't accept it. So why Qatar against, for
- 24:54example controlling the mosques in UK and in Qatar they are
- 25:00controlling the mosques. So why you want to do something
- 25:04that why you're doing something you don't accept others to do?
- 25:08I'm not. I'm not here against the
- 25:10religion. I am Muslim myself.
- 25:11I am Muslim myself. I like my religion, but I don't
- 25:16support the Islamist eulogy and the terrorist eulogical thoughts
- 25:23that the Qatari governments are putting to the West and to the
- 25:26people. Qatari people are different than
- 25:28the Qatari government. I always say people say oh
- 25:32Qatari royal family, I can tell you Qatari royal family family
- 25:35is divided. The 30% of the Qatari royal
- 25:39family is pro Tamim because Tamim actually helping them.
- 25:44But don't forget it's coup after coup after coup.
- 25:47So they've been taking power from their own cousins until
- 25:51it's become divided. So there is other parts of the
- 25:54royal family. His own father was a king, his
- 25:58own cousin was a king and now being isolated.
- 26:01So the whole power become under the hand of Tamim and his father
- 26:06and his brothers and the direct cousins, direct uncles.
- 26:10That's it. And that is not how a country
- 26:13should be run. A country is not a militant.
- 26:17Qatar run Qatar as a militant groups.
- 26:20So if you want to run a constitutional monarchy system,
- 26:23you have to accept people to be part of it, not to be against
- 26:27the people. And that's what exactly I've
- 26:28been saying for a very long time.
- 26:30I hope the Qatari people, Qatari people actually realize that
- 26:35this is an actual problem. The only issue now we face that
- 26:40we cannot criticize the Emir of Qatar publicly in Qatar because
- 26:45it's a crime. For one point, you could go for
- 26:49to 15 years in prison and that is not fair.
- 26:52I mean, we was hoping the Parliament of Qatar will accept
- 26:56us to do such thing or such work.
- 26:57I mean, he's not God. He is not God.
- 27:00He can do mistakes. And we want to be able to
- 27:04criticize them because, you know, they're happy.
- 27:06Oh, for example, Qatar, I'm not happy.
- 27:08I'm opening an office in Somaliland.
- 27:11Office in Somaliland is representing actually the other
- 27:14part of Qatar. If you are not willing to
- 27:16compromise and to deal with people, then yes, catch our
- 27:19National Democratic Party. We will have our own government
- 27:22in exile. We will have our own Minister of
- 27:25Foreign affair. We're having our own minister of
- 27:27interior, we're having our own ambassadors.
- 27:30We have money. We have everything we want.
- 27:33If you have 1 billion, we have 1 billion.
- 27:35We don't care. We have the money, but at the
- 27:38same time, we will work hard against you to sanction your own
- 27:42money to participate. Example, if you have money
- 27:46outside, you will going to come after that money because that
- 27:48money belong to the Qatari people, not to you.
- 27:51And we want to make sure that this money basically is actually
- 27:55spent on the benefit and the interest of my own people and
- 27:59Qatar. That's jokes and and the Qatari
- 28:02government been doing for a long time and we're not going to go
- 28:06so easy now. Everything is changing, the
- 28:09world is changing. I always say they are, they
- 28:12don't know what's coming their own way.
- 28:16The Prime Minister of Qatar, I mean, this guy, he don't
- 28:20understand anything in politics. I mean I know him on a personal
- 28:25level and I can show you some videos from Qatar national TV
- 28:31while me being interviewed alongside with him.
- 28:35He was nobody. He don't understand anything on
- 28:38the politics. All what he's doing now is
- 28:41actually just repeating what have you want, what HPJ want,
- 28:46what HPK want. That's exactly what you have.
- 28:49He have no say in anything, so that's why he been choose to be
- 28:54a Prime Minister of Qatar. That's not what what what we
- 28:57want in Qatar, a constitutional monarchy system.
- 29:00We should have people that actually understand the
- 29:03interests of of Qatar and that's what we are working towards.
- 29:06Qatar's trying to show the West and the world we are a strong
- 29:10country. People like us, people love us.
- 29:13No, people don't like you. The first, the first trial, they
- 29:19failed. I tell you now, a lot of people
- 29:21said in the in the in the media, there is no Qataria position.
- 29:25It's just two people, Three people.
- 29:28No, you forgot what happened in 2017, 1819.
- 29:32How many royal family members spoke against the Qatari regime
- 29:37on TV? Go do your homework.
- 29:39How many people now in jail in Qatar because they spoke the
- 29:43truth? Now we've learned the lesson,
- 29:46the only tactics have changed. I told my people I'll protect
- 29:51you this time. I don't want you to speak out on
- 29:54media without protection. All what you need to do is
- 29:57actually just be ready and prepared well, the moment the
- 30:01Qatari regime is falling, you are the future of Qatar.
- 30:05You participate in Qatar and we have no intention of any harming
- 30:10or bloody coups or whatever, but we will definitely do it
- 30:16constitutionally. And the way Qatar being
- 30:18established at the 18501860, how they lied to us before because
- 30:25Qatar was about two main families and two tribes.
- 30:29Those tribes though, as was controlling the country, which
- 30:33is Alma Alvid and Al Muhammadi. And then a lot of war happened
- 30:37between them and Qatar. Their, their, their grandfather.
- 30:43He came with the with the face of religious that he could do.
- 30:47He knows better to teach us the religion and to teach our
- 30:51people. And then how that's how our
- 30:53people trusted him. We gave him the power, but not
- 30:57to take over the country and to own it.
- 31:00Then what happened? They started to fight us.
- 31:02We are the other tribe. Our tribe is not less than their
- 31:07tribe. We have the same rights that
- 31:09they have and we have the same power as they have.
- 31:14If they want to have the country for their own self that is.
- 31:17That will not going to happen because my people will going to
- 31:21make sure that the future of Qatar, every single tribe will
- 31:26be part of it, including the AL Thanis and Al Maadi.
- 31:30The tribe, yes. Let me ask you what the European
- 31:36Union as a political entity. We are the democracies of Europe
- 31:40and we of course want to promote democracy everywhere in the
- 31:43world. Should we insist that Qatar has
- 31:46free and fair and democratic elections, which is a
- 31:50precondition for our trading relation?
- 31:52Do you think that we should strengthen and harden our policy
- 31:56towards Qatar to transform Qatar into a democracy?
- 32:01I agree 100%. I would like, I'm actually
- 32:05already working on a policy that we want to present to the
- 32:08European Union and it will be presented very soon.
- 32:11And that policy is actually speaking about the financial
- 32:15flow of Qatar, the money and everything, and how we wanted to
- 32:21be controlled. Not because we want to sanction
- 32:25our own country, to not have money to be similar like Iran or
- 32:29other countries, no, But we want the money to go on the right
- 32:32way. We want it controlled and we
- 32:35will do that. We will succeed at putting a lot
- 32:37of pressure to the European Union, to the Americans, to a
- 32:42lot of countries was held in Qatari investment to actually
- 32:46sanction the Qatari government until we have a normal standard
- 32:50operating procedure of how we could actually control the money
- 32:54and the financials of the country.
- 32:56Have you been already invited to the European Parliament?
- 32:59Because, you know, we are very angry in Europe and that the
- 33:02Qatari have bribed our members of the political system of the
- 33:06European Parliament. We have not forgotten, we will
- 33:09never forget this crime and we are very angry with the Qatar
- 33:12government. So have you been already invited
- 33:15and have you had contacts with the President of European
- 33:17Parliament, with Mrs. Matsola or other political leaders?
- 33:21So do you want to have this contact in the future?
- 33:24I will do have this contact and I want to have this contact.
- 33:27The only issue I faced in the past that Qatar have a lot of
- 33:31influence into the European Union parliaments.
- 33:34Now game is changing. I'm not gonna let this go.
- 33:40I mean, I will put my policy forward and I'll sit with them
- 33:44and we will talk and we will push arise them in front of the
- 33:47media, in front of the world. I will expose them.
- 33:50If they are not willing to listen to the European Union, I
- 33:53will expose them. They have to listen and to give
- 33:56answers to what we want. If there's no answers, I mean,
- 34:00look, we are not weak. If the European Union think that
- 34:03we are weak and we cannot do things, that's actually wrong.
- 34:07We have a lot of power and we will definitely go through this
- 34:12and we will sit with them. If you're there willing to
- 34:15listen voluntarily, we will go to that European Court to force
- 34:19them to listen, and I'll do that.
- 34:23Very good. Tomorrow there is in the White
- 34:25House the meeting of Bibi Netanyahu and President Trump to
- 34:28decide about the virtual core situation in Iran.
- 34:31The Iranian government has killed up to 3040.
- 34:35Some reports say 90,000 people have been killed only this year
- 34:39by the suppression and the brutality of the Iranian
- 34:42government against the people of Iran.
- 34:45How do you see the situation in Iran?
- 34:47What is your policy? Are you for regime change?
- 34:50Do you support the Shah? What is your policy on Iran?
- 34:55The Iranian regime should be There are a bunch of terrorists
- 35:02and thieves and criminals who've been terrorizing their own
- 35:08people for a very long time. They ruled Iran by the name of
- 35:14God and there was lying by the name of God.
- 35:19Iran should be back to what it was before.
- 35:24I do believe the Shah and Rizabalovi, He is a very, very
- 35:31good option for Iran because he's an open minded person and
- 35:38he have a lot of support. I've seen a lot of the
- 35:42opposition, other Iranian oppositions could be the
- 35:45religious movements and other movements, but they don't have
- 35:49the same support that Rizaballah we have.
- 35:52So I do believe that Iran should change within because the
- 35:58existence of the Iranian regime is danger and risk to Qatar, to
- 36:03my own people. We don't want to have them
- 36:05there. They are very dangerous people
- 36:08and I'm sure that the economical of Iran will stripe the moment
- 36:14the Iranian regime is gone. So the future now is in the hand
- 36:20of the Iranian people. I'm not calling for violence,
- 36:24but a revolution should happen and that's a must because the
- 36:28language Iranian regime understand is violence.
- 36:32They don't accept democracy, they don't accept to talk to
- 36:35people, normal dialogue. So I hope that Iranian people
- 36:42will succeed in freeing their own country from this terrorist
- 36:46regime. You're already in contact with
- 36:49Risa Paklavi or is any meetings planned in the future?
- 36:52Because Risa Paklavi will come now, next week to Europe.
- 36:56He will be at the Munich Security Conference.
- 36:58There will be a largest demonstration in Munich now on
- 37:02the next Saturday. So yes, I get.
- 37:04A lot of opportunities maybe to get in touch and to express
- 37:08solidarity and to build leadership network for change in
- 37:13the Gulf region. Because if Iran is changing, I
- 37:16think Qatar can change as well. And we will have a democratic
- 37:20partner at the Gulf, in Qatar and in Iran in the future that
- 37:24will be much better for the West and for Europe.
- 37:27And we could hopefully achieve that in 2026.
- 37:31Yes, I've been in touch with him.
- 37:33He's a great man and a man who have a good vision.
- 37:38I like his thoughts. I like the people work with him
- 37:41as well. He definitely have a love for
- 37:44his country and definitely respect my country as well.
- 37:49And he understand that the existence of the Qatar, the the
- 37:54Iranian regime now is a danger to the region and to the Iranian
- 37:58people as well. That's why I am fully supporting
- 38:01him and actually I help him. I will help him definitely to to
- 38:06achieve his own goal. And that is very important
- 38:12message that everyone should actually work toward it to
- 38:16support the Shah. What's your hope when it comes
- 38:20to American policy? Because America obviously is
- 38:22very important partner of Qatar, has a big military base in
- 38:26Qatar, and now President Trump is basically mobilizing a lot of
- 38:31troops in the region. So my question is, what do you
- 38:33want from America? Do you want support for
- 38:36democracy? Or do you think this current
- 38:38situation of massive influence buying and political buying of
- 38:43Qatar in America is acceptable for the future?
- 38:47I have a lot of contacts in America and very strong contact
- 38:51in the White House as well, and people actually nearby Trump.
- 38:56There is no doubt they do understand the Qatar government.
- 39:00It's just they are actually using them now for to finalize
- 39:06small things. They know they are dealing with
- 39:08kids. You know, one one guy, very
- 39:11senior American person told me, you know, you people are kids.
- 39:15They are asking us to praise them to say nice things about
- 39:19them in media or Qatar. This guy is a very nice man and
- 39:22let me become red. This sort of policy, he's giving
- 39:25it to them. Just give me what I want.
- 39:27We give you what you want. So that's basically, I was
- 39:31surprised that someone like Tamim is actually represents my
- 39:34country with this own with this, with this ideology.
- 39:38He'd been bombering Kochner through Aya Duadi.
- 39:42He's been bothering him a lot. Or can he say nice things about
- 39:46me? Can he say nice words about us?
- 39:49Can they say, can they sign agreement to protect us?
- 39:53That's the way Tabin thinks. I'm not joking.
- 39:55That's the way he think. It's a disaster.
- 39:58All what he want them to speak nice words about him.
- 40:01And I've been saying, even before I was telling Tamim, I
- 40:04said no. I mean, what do you want?
- 40:06Oh, when, when, when, when you go here.
- 40:08Please say nice words about me. I look nice.
- 40:11I'm I'm handsome, I'm tall. I mean, what is this?
- 40:16I mean, this sort of point. It's not it's wrong.
- 40:20I mean, you are a king. You should you should you should
- 40:23you should have your own words toward of whatever you want to
- 40:28say and you have your own decision.
- 40:30I always, you know, some people, sorry for what I would say, but
- 40:34you know, a lot of times when I describe him, a man was hiding
- 40:39under his mother's skirt. Not because I tried to decimate
- 40:42his character, it's because of actually what he's saying.
- 40:45Every time we want to have something, he say, oh, I speak
- 40:49to my mother. I mean, come on.
- 40:51What do you mean? You are a king now you have the
- 40:53power. You have to decide.
- 40:56In America, there's a lot of rumors and accusations, which I
- 40:59cannot confirm, that Qatari is also buying a lot of influence
- 41:03in social media and they are buying some of the MAGA
- 41:08influencers, financing them. And also, you know, in the whole
- 41:12airfare around Epstein, Qatar was also mentioned quite often.
- 41:17What's your take on the situation?
- 41:18Do you? Think that's true We, I
- 41:21understand how they work in America.
- 41:23We really know what they're doing in America very well.
- 41:26I know who's they're buying. They're not buying.
- 41:28They are renting people. They are renting because who
- 41:31they are renting is anti Qatari values.
- 41:36They can buy their silence for a small period of time, but when
- 41:40the money stop, they will all turn against him and that's what
- 41:44he's not realizing. So renting people policy is not
- 41:48working anymore. Now in America I am doing a lot
- 41:53of work, fundamental work that will change the existence of the
- 41:58Qatar regime. Now they don't respect him,
- 42:02don't think they are respecting him, They don't.
- 42:05They basically what they doing is just giving them what they
- 42:08want to finalize small like Gaza deal, Gaza seize the fire deal,
- 42:14the Iranian talks and few other things.
- 42:17You see I will not do anything until Netanyahu say sorry.
- 42:22Who says that doing? Come on you are a king of
- 42:26country. You say to Trump I cannot I
- 42:29cannot mediate anymore with Hamas.
- 42:31At least he say sorry. Netanyahu said give me the
- 42:33phone. Oh sorry.
- 42:35OK, next day they go. This is doesn't work like that
- 42:38brother. This is not the way politics
- 42:40work. We need a proper man and a
- 42:43proper king to actually rule the country.
- 42:47If they if they, if you have a problem, a diplomatic issue with
- 42:50the country, you don't deal with it a childish way.
- 42:53As for to say sorry and this is the media, I pay media money to
- 42:57go write things about me that's wrong.
- 43:02No, I hope that you will be one day the leader of Qatar, because
- 43:06it's really changed what we need from terms of the Qatari policy
- 43:11for the Qatari people, but also for the West, because such a
- 43:15huge amount of money has a very nefarious influence on our
- 43:19European politics, on the politics in America.
- 43:22And I think this must change now, because this money should
- 43:25be available for good purposes, infrastructure investments.
- 43:29Qatar could be a real centre of global prosperity and could
- 43:34really do so much good with all the fortunes you have, which
- 43:38basically comes from global consumers which have to pay your
- 43:41energy and then you abuse it. Your government is abusing it
- 43:46for terrorism, for corruption, for influence peddling.
- 43:49This is a big, big misallocation of resources and I can just hope
- 43:54that you will very soon be the leader of Qatar and change all
- 43:58these things. That hope is not a hope.
- 44:02We are working toward it and we actually living as we already
- 44:07took the power of Qatar. And I know exactly what's going
- 44:10on. And I know certain, I'm 100%
- 44:14certain this time this regime will fall.
- 44:18And we are doing what what we're doing now is not basically
- 44:21negotiating how the Qatari government would be changed.
- 44:25We are thinking now already about the next step of what's
- 44:28we're going to happen after. That's what we're going to
- 44:31happen to change the regime. So there is a standard operating
- 44:35procedure, There is a policy on place.
- 44:37There is actually a work in progress.
- 44:39And we will succeed this time. And thank you very much.
- 44:43Mr. Qatar, I will also put Qatar on my list of hostile states,
- 44:47which hopefully will be regime changed in 2026, because as you
- 44:52know, maybe from my Twitter feed, I'm working intensively
- 44:55for Russia to change. Iran must be regime change.
- 44:59And also Qatar must in a package, basically also have a
- 45:04new leadership and a new democratic future for the
- 45:08Qataris and for the whole region and for the whole world, because
- 45:12the nefarious this kind of terrorism by funding and
- 45:17influenced by must end. And I hope your leadership will
- 45:21start already to contribute to this change in 2026.
- 45:25I want to thank you very much for coming to the current show.
- 45:29If you have a last statement, please, you are welcome.
- 45:32And then we will conclude the show.
- 45:34My statement just for the Qatari people and I would like to say
- 45:40to them that they don't need to worry, they don't need to have
- 45:44any fear from the Qatari government.
- 45:47Everything will going to be run the way they want and things
- 45:51will going to run very smoothly and for their own favor.
- 45:56We Europeans want a democratic Qatar, which is part of the free
- 46:00world, allied to us, and we will also be allied to you, the
- 46:04Qatari people. And we want you to live in
- 46:07freedom, prosperity, security, and to be friends with Europe.
- 46:11And thanks a lot for this talk, Mr. Thank you very much as.
- 46:14For your struggle for freedom and thanks for joining Quinta
- 46:18Show. Thank you very much.
- 46:22Thank you.
