- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:10Speaker 1: This week we're talking sound effects in movies and TV.
- 0:15Speaker 1: We've assembled four leading folly artists to come tell us
- 0:19Speaker 1: about their job.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Sound design is an entirely different game than you might
- 0:24Speaker 2: imagine it is from watching a movie. The sounds you're
- 0:28Speaker 2: hearing a foot stomping, a glass being shattered, those aren't
- 0:33Speaker 2: sounds that are being picked up while they're shooting. Those
- 0:35Speaker 2: are sounds that are added later by these craftsmen.
- 0:39Speaker 3: These fully artists come from various backgrounds and various companies,
- 0:44Speaker 3: but they've all mastered one thing, the art of making noise.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Now, listen in.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Wind Okay, that was a horse.
- 1:13Speaker 1: That was a horse, and this was great, so moving.
- 1:16Speaker 5: I was, I was actually going for sheep.
- 1:19Speaker 6: Okay, Well, what was What was the sheep's terrain they
- 1:22Speaker 6: were walking on?
- 1:24Speaker 5: You guys want to guess or do you want me
- 1:25Speaker 5: to tell you?
- 1:26Speaker 4: I'll say I thought it was grass shortly cut.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It seemed like sheep opening a door, walking across a
- 1:33Speaker 1: hardwood floor and then bathing in the grassy fields of Austria.
- 1:39Speaker 2: You guys were all really close. It was grass onto
- 1:43Speaker 2: dirt road. Oh, yeah, so started grass turning to dirt.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Road Wow wow Wow? Was it old dirt or new
- 1:53Speaker 4: it dirt?
- 1:54Speaker 5: It was? It was it was dirt of the earth.
- 1:56Speaker 5: So no, no, new dirt, isn't it Chrissie?
- 1:59Speaker 1: How mud has different sounds depending on what season you're in.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's really crazy because mud in the summer is
- 2:10Speaker 3: more just like dirt, it's more than mud in the
- 2:14Speaker 3: winter is more like snow.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Right, It's wonderful. Well, shall we go around?
- 2:22Speaker 2: I have to say this is the most exhilarated I've
- 2:24Speaker 2: ever been having this conversation, just now knowing that we're
- 2:27Speaker 2: about to have that kind of conversation for an hour.
- 2:31Speaker 5: That electrified.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Dare I say, I've got chills the sound.
- 2:39Speaker 6: There's something I do when I'm so excited, and I
- 2:42Speaker 6: hear it, and it's very small, but I'm doing it
- 2:45Speaker 6: a lot right now, and I hear it really quietly.
- 2:48Speaker 4: You can hear my teeth ready, listen, it's not even.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Your lips pulling apart to reveal the smile of tooth.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Oh, and I am smiling ear to ear. I know
- 3:03Speaker 6: they're on a podcast right now, but we can, we could.
- 3:07Speaker 6: It's our medium to make the sound.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Our medium is sounds without faces.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Absolutely, it's taking everything in me not to touch this microphone.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I want to make little noises on it. I want
- 3:18Speaker 2: to touch it, but I know that it's for the
- 3:21Speaker 2: sounds that are coming.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I want to grab this microphone and ring it like
- 3:25Speaker 3: a corn on the cob to make a sound of
- 3:27Speaker 3: a you know, a tambourine.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I want to shove it into a bucket of grapes
- 3:30Speaker 2: to make the sound of someone plunging their hands into
- 3:33Speaker 2: some guts.
- 3:34Speaker 4: See.
- 3:34Speaker 6: All I want to do is slap the hell out
- 3:36Speaker 6: of it, because I do only physical slaps.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I'll start my name.
- 3:43Speaker 6: My name is Brittany No No, Hi, Brittany, Thank you
- 3:48Speaker 6: so much.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Hello Britney.
- 3:49Speaker 4: No No, Brittany no No.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I had that nickname growing up because I always touch
- 3:55Speaker 6: stuff and my mom would go no no.
- 3:58Speaker 4: So that's why I'm Brittany no No, it just stuck.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be here today. I work.
- 4:06Speaker 6: I'm it's I mean, it's been reported, so I don't
- 4:10Speaker 6: want to brag, but I was named Time Magazine's number
- 4:14Speaker 6: one violence fighting folly artists.
- 4:19Speaker 4: They bring me in for combat combat.
- 4:22Speaker 6: I'm about human flesh hitting each other. That's what I've
- 4:26Speaker 6: been doing for twenty five years. One want anything else.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Wow, so good to have you here. My name is
- 4:34Speaker 1: Andrew Herzog, son of documentary filmmaker Warren their Hairzogy. Andrew, Hello,
- 4:43Speaker 1: so good to be here today. I do folly for
- 4:47Speaker 1: Animal Planet and Nature documentaries. So a lot of the
- 4:52Speaker 1: Animal Planet documentaries are shot with a very wide lens.
- 4:57Speaker 1: There are many hundreds of feet away from the animal,
- 5:01Speaker 1: so they cannot get too close to hear the sounds
- 5:04Speaker 1: they make. So a lot of that is done in
- 5:07Speaker 1: studio by me.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Wow, that's me disappointing. I would want the animals to
- 5:13Speaker 6: make their normal sound.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Do you just feel like you're lying for a drag?
- 5:17Speaker 4: Do you feel like.
- 5:18Speaker 6: You're lying sometimes because you don't know what those animals
- 5:20Speaker 6: we really sound like?
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yes, I do feel guilty assigning personalities to animals who
- 5:26Speaker 1: might not have them. Who am I to know if
- 5:29Speaker 1: a wild parrot says in an excited manner or in
- 5:34Speaker 1: a fearful way. Sometimes you have to make these decisions
- 5:39Speaker 1: for yourself.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Wow, that's creative.
- 5:44Speaker 5: My name is Norman Legreux. It's so nice to mean
- 5:49Speaker 5: all of you.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I specialize a lot in fantastical, scientific, wild, surprising, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 2: really high concept kind of stuff. What does an alien
- 6:05Speaker 2: you know, an alien tree swish like?
- 6:08Speaker 5: You know, what does what does.
- 6:11Speaker 2: A pegasus putting his claw on some sort of orb
- 6:16Speaker 2: sound like?
- 6:17Speaker 5: I do a lot of that stuff.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And I actually work by myself in a Traverse City, Michigan.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I have my own Foley studio that I built. So
- 6:26Speaker 2: it's really nice to be around other artists because I
- 6:29Speaker 2: feel like I'm just there because people find me and people,
- 6:31Speaker 2: you know, it's really nice.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And mister LaRue, I will say, mister LaRue, correct.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Yes, Norman, Norman, mister LaRue, yeah.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Norman, mister LaRue, I will say that your zooms and
- 6:42Speaker 1: wooshes are some of the best in the business.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Oh please, there are among hundreds of others that are good.
- 6:49Speaker 5: We are very nice.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I'm always trying to recreate them. I just love them
- 6:53Speaker 3: so much.
- 6:54Speaker 6: But you're you're really known specifically for being I don't know,
- 6:59Speaker 6: I don't know how to describe this, but a lot
- 7:00Speaker 6: of us try to emulate real life, and then a
- 7:03Speaker 6: lot of us will write, and you are a writer,
- 7:08Speaker 6: I believe, because we don't really know what aliens hitting
- 7:13Speaker 6: together sound like, and I think you use your creative
- 7:16Speaker 6: imagination and you create that, wouldn't you say?
- 7:18Speaker 5: I have a mind too.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I like to go some places in my head and
- 7:23Speaker 2: I like to find places, and I like to see somewhere,
- 7:26Speaker 2: and I like to say what would that be?
- 7:29Speaker 5: If that's writing, then that's writing. You know.
- 7:31Speaker 6: I saw your work on Lord of the Rings when
- 7:34Speaker 6: the pegasus coughed or the rings zero, and there's no way,
- 7:39Speaker 6: there's no way to know what that sound would be
- 7:41Speaker 6: like in reality because the Pegasus doesn't exist.
- 7:44Speaker 4: So you made that up.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I made that up, and it actually came to me.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I was in a stable and I saw a horse
- 7:51Speaker 2: cough and I thought, well, if a horse had wings,
- 7:55Speaker 2: how would the cough reverberate through not just the body
- 7:58Speaker 2: but also the wings. And so that's where I got
- 8:01Speaker 2: the kind of.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Because I imagine a cough going through wings.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Because yes, that is also a fantastical creature. So the
- 8:11Speaker 1: way you elevated the creature with the second noise because
- 8:15Speaker 1: a pegasus's cousin, which is a horse, often just coughs
- 8:19Speaker 1: like this, but the pegasus has an extra woosh.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Andrew am really I'm really impressed that you know that
- 8:27Speaker 2: kind of stuff that a Pegasus cousin is a horse.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I feel like we may spent a lot of time
- 8:33Speaker 1: and nature.
- 8:34Speaker 5: I feel like we can maybe talk shop fantasy a
- 8:36Speaker 5: little bit.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I think we could.
- 8:38Speaker 5: We could maybe geek out.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I am such a nerd.
- 8:41Speaker 5: I am a total geek.
- 8:42Speaker 1: It's unreal.
- 8:43Speaker 5: I'm an absolute geek.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Oh, I'm a freaking nerdy nerd.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Every single partner of mine in my polyamorous relationship thinks
- 8:51Speaker 2: I'm a total geek.
- 8:54Speaker 3: How many people do you have in your relationship?
- 8:56Speaker 5: Currently?
- 8:56Speaker 2: It's flex but right now we have four and we're
- 9:00Speaker 2: auditioning another and it's going really well, and I think
- 9:02Speaker 2: she's gonna make it into.
- 9:04Speaker 4: The audition process.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It depends on the person. It's rolling and mission, but
- 9:08Speaker 2: it's also depends on the person. So we're gonna see
- 9:11Speaker 2: what happens. But she's really fun and we have a
- 9:14Speaker 2: big banquet and I think we're gonna probably fold her
- 9:17Speaker 2: in after the banquet on.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So people ever get dismissed.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yes, Yeah, we do have to let them go sometimes
- 9:24Speaker 2: because they just aren't pulling their weight in the relationship.
- 9:27Speaker 5: What's your name?
- 9:30Speaker 3: Hi? I am Hi. I'm Natasha n E N n
- 9:39Speaker 3: and I do fully mostly for war and big, big
- 9:44Speaker 3: fight scenes like that war military. Well, I think you
- 9:49Speaker 3: do most combat skin to skin. I'm doing machine to machine.
- 9:52Speaker 4: We are so similar, Yeah, yeah, we are very similar.
- 9:57Speaker 5: You really attached to her, to her fast?
- 10:00Speaker 6: Yeah No, I just I think we I look at
- 10:03Speaker 6: you and I feel like you're a sister I never had.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, no, I feel the exact same way. It's
- 10:08Speaker 3: like when if I could describe it in a noise,
- 10:11Speaker 3: it would be.
- 10:14Speaker 1: We have clearly developed two distinct partnerships already split exactly
- 10:21Speaker 1: down the middle.
- 10:22Speaker 3: And I will say it's great that you guys do nature,
- 10:24Speaker 3: but I would say I love your work on skin
- 10:27Speaker 3: to skin because most of my stuff is, you know,
- 10:30Speaker 3: machine to machine, metal to metal, and to feel the
- 10:34Speaker 3: art and the work of somebody inside that metal. I
- 10:38Speaker 3: just love.
- 10:39Speaker 5: I just love so much.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Because you're really good with guns.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yes, I do mostly guns, and they're mostly I bring
- 10:47Speaker 3: in a lot of guns into the studio and that's
- 10:50Speaker 3: how I get most of my noises.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That was my big question, Natasha, do you do you
- 10:54Speaker 2: just pick the gun that's in the movie and then
- 10:57Speaker 2: use that same gun for when you're in the.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Stow that's a common misconception. A common misconception. It's kind
- 11:03Speaker 3: of like when you have a scene in the water,
- 11:07Speaker 3: you wouldn't just bring a little bit of water, and
- 11:09Speaker 3: you have to bring it a lot and splash it
- 11:10Speaker 3: around more. So usually we bring in bigger guns and
- 11:14Speaker 3: then do audio sound effects a lot of the time
- 11:17Speaker 3: to add to the guns. So let's just say you
- 11:21Speaker 3: have a little handgun. In real life, that gun sounds
- 11:24Speaker 3: like do do tiny stupid, it's not scary. So in
- 11:29Speaker 3: the studio I'll bring in something like a big, big
- 11:33Speaker 3: bazooka or a big big gun that a rocket launcher,
- 11:38Speaker 3: and I'll launch that off while yelling, and that's usually
- 11:40Speaker 3: how we capture it.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So could you play me a pistol? Sound what that
- 11:45Speaker 1: would sound like for you? A small handgun in a movie?
- 11:49Speaker 4: Doing what you what you do?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yeah, So this is Fast and Furious, the ninth one
- 11:57Speaker 3: that's about to come out.
- 12:00Speaker 1: What did you missed your movie?
- 12:04Speaker 3: Oh no, I missed another premiere. I was lost in
- 12:06Speaker 3: the work. But anyway, there's a scene where Vin Diesel
- 12:10Speaker 3: pulls out a gun and shoots ludicrous in the leg
- 12:14Speaker 3: as a joke. It's a funny haha, and let's just play.
- 12:18Speaker 7: It Funyoo, didn't you say that was funny?
- 12:34Speaker 3: So, yeah, that was the sound of a handgun.
- 12:38Speaker 1: That is a hilarious clip.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 12:41Speaker 3: We worked on that sound because I wanted to really
- 12:44Speaker 3: really hit the comedy of that scene.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I like how you made the sounds of Vin Diesel screaming.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yes, well, that actually is part of the gun. I
- 12:53Speaker 3: kind of like to add a little bit of a
- 12:54Speaker 3: Natasha and flare and all my guns scream a little wow.
- 12:59Speaker 3: That's how you know it's my movie.
- 13:01Speaker 6: So that's so funny because now I'll look out for
- 13:03Speaker 6: it when I'm watching.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Yes, I think it's gonna be hard not to hear
- 13:07Speaker 5: it now.
- 13:08Speaker 4: No, I don't think so.
- 13:09Speaker 6: I think I think I watched a movie recently that
- 13:12Speaker 6: I wonder if it was your work. It was a
- 13:15Speaker 6: movie about the revolutionary It was some revolution movie.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Revolution four point zero.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Yes, about the American Revolution in the future.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Yes, it's the American Revolution in the future set in
- 13:28Speaker 3: the future. Yes, you caught me. I was in that.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Movie because I did look to my husband and I said,
- 13:33Speaker 6: those guns are quite high pitch, and it sounds like
- 13:37Speaker 6: something's happening at the end of them.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, they yell and Natasha, I noticed you said I
- 13:41Speaker 2: was in that movie. So do you consider when you
- 13:44Speaker 2: have sounds in the movie that you are in the movie?
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yes, I do, But I also played a role in
- 13:49Speaker 3: that movie. Yes I will. So you're a member of
- 13:51Speaker 3: I Love the Revolutionary War. And I said, look, I
- 13:54Speaker 3: did a deal with them. Look, I'll do this movie
- 13:56Speaker 3: for free. Put me in as an extra. I want
- 13:58Speaker 3: to be I want to fight. I want to fight.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Wow.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it was great.
- 14:03Speaker 5: So I'd love to know.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I know you have a signature. I'd love to know
- 14:08Speaker 2: what everyone's signature is if they feel like they have
- 14:11Speaker 2: a sound that they excel in the most.
- 14:14Speaker 5: You don't put you on the map, We'll put you
- 14:16Speaker 5: on the map. I love that. Yeah, let's shift my question.
- 14:21Speaker 4: I think it's the same thing. What are you good
- 14:22Speaker 4: at it?
- 14:22Speaker 5: That's great? What are you good at? What was the
- 14:24Speaker 5: first thing that got you known?
- 14:26Speaker 3: Well? Can I say for you?
- 14:28Speaker 5: That's great?
- 14:29Speaker 3: The scene and I I've got to I've got to
- 14:32Speaker 3: give it to you. I watched Boxing in a Big Bath,
- 14:37Speaker 3: your short film thesis that you did.
- 14:40Speaker 4: And at the University of Rhode Island.
- 14:42Speaker 3: At the University of Rhode Island and I was blown
- 14:46Speaker 3: away on the sounds of those fists.
- 14:49Speaker 6: I know, I know, thank you so much that that
- 14:52Speaker 6: job got me a million dollar baby with.
- 14:54Speaker 5: The Hilary Swing.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Hilary Swing.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So you did the thesis? Was this your thesis film?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Just the foy part? Because I didn't know you could
- 15:06Speaker 1: do that to film school.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Well, that's what my professor said, And I said, well,
- 15:12Speaker 6: this is where greatness begins, is when I produce a
- 15:16Speaker 6: film it's just fully and can that tell a story
- 15:19Speaker 6: on its own?
- 15:20Speaker 3: And it really did? It really did.
- 15:22Speaker 4: No one says that. Usually they just say it's a
- 15:24Speaker 4: black screen.
- 15:25Speaker 3: The black screen with a bunch of weird noises going on.
- 15:27Speaker 3: And I'm so glad you said that because specifically, also
- 15:30Speaker 3: we should clarify Fully does no dialogue. It's just the noises.
- 15:35Speaker 3: It's just the noises.
- 15:37Speaker 4: You're dubbing anything.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Du So, was it periods of time? Because most movies
- 15:42Speaker 1: do have dialogue in them. Did you take a break
- 15:46Speaker 1: for the dialogue and leave a black screen?
- 15:48Speaker 3: You just have to see it, You just have to
- 15:50Speaker 3: see it. Can you play clip? Is that all right?
- 15:52Speaker 3: If we play a clip from.
- 15:53Speaker 4: My thesis film from twenty five years ago?
- 15:55Speaker 3: So much.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Yes, my god, you're so kind.
- 15:58Speaker 8: Let's roll film splat Finn.
- 16:14Speaker 4: So I let one person come in for a dr
- 16:16Speaker 4: to do the end where it said Finn.
- 16:18Speaker 5: How long did that take? Oh?
- 16:19Speaker 4: We did a couple of takes, just a couple. It's
- 16:21Speaker 4: like twenty.
- 16:24Speaker 6: But the whole film took me, my whole, my whole
- 16:27Speaker 6: grad school two years, two full years.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Did that for two full years.
- 16:32Speaker 6: And I when I sent it around, well, uh, the
- 16:38Speaker 6: director of Clint Eastwood, when I send him that film,
- 16:40Speaker 6: I was like, this is a short film I made.
- 16:42Speaker 6: He thought it was my demo real because there's no picture,
- 16:47Speaker 6: and I was like, what's the difference between that and
- 16:49Speaker 6: my short?
- 16:50Speaker 4: I don't know. And it got me the job anyway.
- 16:52Speaker 3: That's great.
- 16:53Speaker 2: There's a I have a big question about boxing movies
- 16:56Speaker 2: because I know you do a lot of hand to
- 16:58Speaker 2: hand and the hand to body. There's in boxing. There's
- 17:01Speaker 2: of course a glove. Is that somebody else or is
- 17:03Speaker 2: that also you?
- 17:04Speaker 6: So I have a glove guy I work with. He's awesome.
- 17:08Speaker 6: His name is Paul McCartney.
- 17:09Speaker 3: No relation, I know Paul McCartney, Paul McCarty.
- 17:12Speaker 5: I worked with Paul McCartney at the.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Glove guy.
- 17:17Speaker 2: In space, So I wow, you work with Paul. I
- 17:20Speaker 2: bring him in all the time. I love Paul McCartney.
- 17:21Speaker 6: He's great. But Paul's a good guy and he does it.
- 17:24Speaker 6: He does his one thing and he does it really well.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Gloves and warrant. There's a lot of scenes of people
- 17:29Speaker 3: putting on gloves and more.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Well, him and I we started working together back in
- 17:33Speaker 6: the day. Because what I started doing was because I'm
- 17:36Speaker 6: I should say, even though that time article came out
- 17:38Speaker 6: about me about violence and the hitting, I I really
- 17:41Speaker 6: started with body on body contact and I started in college.
- 17:48Speaker 6: I loved making the sounds. I'll be real, can we can?
- 17:52Speaker 4: I be honest.
- 17:53Speaker 6: I was struggling to pay for my school bills and
- 17:57Speaker 6: a man spends that A man online offered me ten
- 18:04Speaker 6: grand to send him the sounds of two bodies having
- 18:07Speaker 6: sex without voice.
- 18:10Speaker 4: So just hip on.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Hip, yes, And that's what got me into the business
- 18:14Speaker 6: because I needed that money so badly and I thought
- 18:16Speaker 6: I could do this. And that's when I built my
- 18:18Speaker 6: first fake body and I started putting these bodies on
- 18:22Speaker 6: top of each other. Because he didn't want any voice.
- 18:24Speaker 6: He just wanted he wanted the sound of it.
- 18:27Speaker 3: So when you go in, you recreate bodies.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Yes, yes.
- 18:31Speaker 6: And then Paul is when I met Paul because we
- 18:35Speaker 6: started dealing with body on body with clothes sometimes. So
- 18:39Speaker 6: Paul came in and we were doing some glove stuff,
- 18:41Speaker 6: and that's when he found his glove method. So that's
- 18:45Speaker 6: really how I started.
- 18:47Speaker 5: Wow, amazing, that is awesome.
- 18:49Speaker 6: And that man sent me ten grand Wow. I don't
- 18:52Speaker 6: know who that sick fuck is, but he paid for
- 18:54Speaker 6: my schooling.
- 18:54Speaker 3: That's all great.
- 18:56Speaker 1: While also tuition was only ten thousand dollars, what a bargain.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Well, what's your signature?
- 19:05Speaker 1: Well my calling card is I don't know if you
- 19:10Speaker 1: notice this when you watch the Animal Planet, but all
- 19:14Speaker 1: of my grass rustling sounds. The grass rustles with a
- 19:20Speaker 1: childlike curiosity that distinguishes it from other grass rustling. So
- 19:26Speaker 1: if you play, I'll just play a quick clip of this.
- 19:32Speaker 9: Hmmm, oh you don't says, is.
- 19:43Speaker 3: So damn curious, And yeah, I will say, though you
- 19:46Speaker 3: don't say, it's not very childlike. Feels some more like
- 19:48Speaker 3: sixty year old man reading the news.
- 19:51Speaker 6: He feels like a man walking through a museum.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I'm a man of age, and so I am just
- 19:58Speaker 1: guessing it. What a child.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Thanks, But I love that that did put.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Me on the map.
- 20:05Speaker 5: I have to be honest.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I do kind of sometimes imbibe in marijuana products for
- 20:13Speaker 2: my body, for my health, you know. And I've watched
- 20:16Speaker 2: some nature documentaries that you've done, and when I am
- 20:19Speaker 2: high on marijuana watching those nature documentaries, they freak me out.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Because you will not be afraid of my inquisitive grass
- 20:31Speaker 1: for my angry birds.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Oh yes, I don't want to be afraid of you.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I remember that.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I was late at night, maybe three am, watching your
- 20:42Speaker 3: father's documentary of the Akabango Delta, and all the birds
- 20:45Speaker 3: started yelling, and I thought Satan had come. I thought
- 20:49Speaker 3: it was the witching hour, and I thought I was dead.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It was just they do yelling rather the Old Testament
- 20:55Speaker 1: style fire and brimstone way. Not in so many words,
- 20:59Speaker 1: but in the cars they are screaming that they will
- 21:04Speaker 1: be not safe in the rapture.
- 21:07Speaker 5: And what did you say? That was? What was? What's cbd?
- 21:11Speaker 1: CBD is basically all of the calming effects of marijuana THHC,
- 21:18Speaker 1: but without any of the anxiety or psychoactive effects.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I can help you. THC for me is more like, oh, wow,
- 21:27Speaker 3: our Wow, Our, But CBD is more like it's.
- 21:37Speaker 4: The difference between. So it's kind of they have these
- 21:41Speaker 4: CBD roll ons which go.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Wow so much soft.
- 21:46Speaker 2: They should be paying you, guys. CBD should be paying
- 21:48Speaker 2: you guys, because this is a glowing endorsement CBD.
- 21:51Speaker 1: The difference for me is THHC is that's THHC, but
- 21:58Speaker 1: CBD is more.
- 22:03Speaker 3: You and I chill it okay.
- 22:06Speaker 4: So THHD to me sounds like when CBD sounds like.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Just any so I hear it, can I maybe if
- 22:22Speaker 3: you try, If I'm synthesizing all of this, it sounds
- 22:24Speaker 3: to me like th HC is maybe a little.
- 22:32Speaker 5: Rare rare, yes, whereas maybe CBD is a little more.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I just don't think you're getting it. No, I don't
- 22:45Speaker 3: think you're getting what.
- 22:46Speaker 5: I'm wrong.
- 22:47Speaker 3: You're wrong.
- 22:48Speaker 5: That sound.
- 22:51Speaker 3: You haven't tried before, so I understand it's why you
- 22:55Speaker 3: would be confused.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Sounding more tense when you don't see.
- 22:57Speaker 3: It sounds like you did actually like a high rid
- 22:59Speaker 3: of the two, like a forty twenty you were at close.
- 23:02Speaker 1: It's a specialized to use your terminology of wooshes and
- 23:06Speaker 1: bangs of the supernatural world. DC is more yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 1: yeah yeah, and c BD is more.
- 23:20Speaker 5: Oh yeah, oh that makes a lot more sense.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Okay, so THC I would say ah when TBD is ah.
- 23:34Speaker 1: You know I recognized that first sound you did. That
- 23:38Speaker 1: was the truck that was in the recent Michael Bay
- 23:40Speaker 1: movie Ambulance.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Right, they brought me it. Actually it was one thing
- 23:44Speaker 4: I did outside.
- 23:45Speaker 10: Oh I wanted that movie sod wait, that was the
- 23:49Speaker 10: folly artist for that was a Sli mcfake name, right,
- 23:54Speaker 10: And I always would have been wondering in the bag.
- 23:56Speaker 4: I can't sit in the bag.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I am slim.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Like rowling.
- 24:04Speaker 6: So my reps told me I gotta do one thing,
- 24:05Speaker 6: and I gotta do it good. And I noticed that,
- 24:08Speaker 6: you know what, I can do a lot of things.
- 24:10Speaker 6: So I've been going out for some stuff under a name.
- 24:14Speaker 3: That I made up.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Believe it or not.
- 24:18Speaker 1: That's just genius.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Thank you so much. Yeah, I made this name up.
- 24:21Speaker 6: My husband is so damn creative.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I thought it was.
- 24:24Speaker 6: He said to me, here's a name you can use,
- 24:27Speaker 6: and I said, my husband should be a writer.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Fake.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I always said it. I thought it was slim and
- 24:35Speaker 3: I just was an idiot.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You were just pronouncing it. How one name would be.
- 24:40Speaker 4: I thought it was mcfucking no, it's slimic fake name.
- 24:45Speaker 3: I can't believe.
- 24:46Speaker 5: I can't fake names. He works a lot, he does work.
- 24:50Speaker 3: He does work a lot.
- 24:52Speaker 4: And I and I wear a hat when I'm slimic
- 24:54Speaker 4: fake names.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Okay, because no one can see you when you do this.
- 25:00Speaker 4: It's in my home studio, so I could separate them.
- 25:02Speaker 5: You know, it's.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So and your fake So it's like severance when you
- 25:08Speaker 1: become a different person.
- 25:10Speaker 2: So would you say the name of would you say
- 25:12Speaker 2: the vibe of Brittany no No is like, but the
- 25:16Speaker 2: vibe of Slimic fake name is like, Yeah, I think
- 25:22Speaker 2: you hit it on the head.
- 25:23Speaker 6: I think that's exactly it. I think it's I think
- 25:27Speaker 6: Brittany no No is me me, me, this is me.
- 25:32Speaker 6: She's got an ego and slim fake name is.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Very different.
- 25:40Speaker 4: It's like Beyonce and.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Her alter ego. I we love the noises that she makes.
- 25:49Speaker 5: No where did Sasha go? I'm wondering when she's coming back.
- 25:53Speaker 3: And the work that she did on her album. If
- 25:55Speaker 3: you listen closely, she's doing she Sasha Fierce is doing
- 25:59Speaker 3: so Yeah.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Oh, I have a question for you guys. I always
- 26:03Speaker 2: love to know where you got your most surprising inspiration.
- 26:06Speaker 2: You know, folly artists we see the world differently, we
- 26:09Speaker 2: hear different noises. We say, oh, I need to remember
- 26:12Speaker 2: that noise.
- 26:13Speaker 5: For the future.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I need to take that and I need to use
- 26:15Speaker 2: that when that comes up. You know, I remember I
- 26:17Speaker 2: made uh the sound of a slime monster coming through
- 26:23Speaker 2: a door. I found that after I dropped a double
- 26:29Speaker 2: stuffed oreo into a glass of milk.
- 26:33Speaker 5: I was trying. It was too slippery for me because
- 26:35Speaker 5: kind of like.
- 26:37Speaker 4: And the exactly I could imagine normal stuff would be
- 26:42Speaker 4: normal stuff would be yeah, and dabble stuff would.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Be plow yeah.
- 26:47Speaker 2: And that's when I found it. And so when the
- 26:49Speaker 2: slime monster comes in, he's going and then all of
- 26:53Speaker 2: a sudden he eats everyone. And so that was something
- 26:55Speaker 2: that I had discovered. What is a noise that you
- 26:57Speaker 2: guys found and you said, wait a minute, there's something here.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yes, wow, Well I heard water water. It was raining
- 27:05Speaker 3: and it was raining on this big metal tarp and
- 27:08Speaker 3: the metal turp accidentally fell because the wind blew, and
- 27:11Speaker 3: it gave me the idea of what it would sound
- 27:15Speaker 3: like if somebody blew up a hospital in the.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Kind of the hospital blowing up would sound like thing,
- 27:23Speaker 1: pink pink, pink.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Ye, yes, like.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Now were you searching for what what that sound would
- 27:35Speaker 6: be like? I imagine you see that in the script
- 27:37Speaker 6: and you go, how do I where do I?
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yes, there was a scene. Because the hospital is not
- 27:41Speaker 3: just like any other building full of machinery, full of machinery,
- 27:45Speaker 3: you got to capture it. And so when I saw
- 27:48Speaker 3: this script, I it came across and it says he
- 27:52Speaker 3: blows up the hospital, and I thought, well, we've got
- 27:56Speaker 3: a problem here. I don't know what this sounds.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I was going through the script of one of my
- 28:01Speaker 1: Animal Planet episodes.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Can I ask a question? Do they dialogue out all
- 28:05Speaker 3: the animals?
- 28:06Speaker 5: Yes?
- 28:07Speaker 1: They do, So there is a plant. I'm sorry to
- 28:10Speaker 1: burst some bubbles, but Animal Planet documentaries, they are scripted.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Oh wow, I'm not just talking about the narration. I
- 28:18Speaker 1: am talking, of course, about the animals and what they do.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And so there came a point in the script where
- 28:26Speaker 1: Harhino was going to step into a spooshy pile of mud.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Now sposhy au spooshy.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Now.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I was able to recreate this by going to a
- 28:40Speaker 1: mind gym This is, of course a gym for children.
- 28:44Speaker 1: The beanbags they have to sit down in the rest
- 28:47Speaker 1: area are smaller, so I was able to recreate the
- 28:51Speaker 1: punching of the bean bag, which is of course.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Wow, it's like I'm it's like I'm hearing a rhino
- 29:00Speaker 3: step in. It's amazing, exactly the serengity.
- 29:06Speaker 1: That's a squosh you pronounce.
- 29:07Speaker 5: I've only seen it written.
- 29:09Speaker 3: It's serengetti.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Oh I'm sorry.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Anyway, what was your most surprising noise?
- 29:18Speaker 4: I think, Uh, my husband and I on Saturdays, we
- 29:21Speaker 4: go to the library.
- 29:23Speaker 5: And he's not a writer.
- 29:26Speaker 4: He's not can you believe he thought of slimkfake name.
- 29:28Speaker 5: And he loves libraries.
- 29:30Speaker 4: He loves library. He's not a writer.
- 29:32Speaker 6: So we're at the we're at the library, and you know,
- 29:34Speaker 6: I try to put my work away a try. It's
- 29:37Speaker 6: a Saturday, you know, And I heard a woman close
- 29:40Speaker 6: a cookbook. It was a big book, and suddenly I went,
- 29:46Speaker 6: that's the thrusting of two people hooking up in Manhattan.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yes, so kind of.
- 29:53Speaker 3: It was.
- 29:54Speaker 6: I can't even I can't do it without the specific book.
- 29:57Speaker 6: And I went up to that woman because here's the thing.
- 29:59Speaker 4: We work with it, I can. Every book is a
- 30:00Speaker 4: different soun when it closes.
- 30:01Speaker 5: Do you remember the cookbook I'd love to know.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I think it was Julia Childs Just the Joy of Cooking.
- 30:07Speaker 5: I'm going to try those out of all.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Yes, And I'll say I literally I was across the
- 30:11Speaker 6: library and like a loud, obnoxious person.
- 30:13Speaker 4: I said, stop it.
- 30:17Speaker 6: I went put that book down, and I grabbed that
- 30:22Speaker 6: book out of her hands. She was so scared, and
- 30:24Speaker 6: I went, I'm sorry, I can't turn off the work
- 30:26Speaker 6: in me. That sound right there. I've been looking for
- 30:28Speaker 6: for weeks, so I use I use a certain a
- 30:32Speaker 6: certain size cookbook. Sometimes they come in really awkward big sizes.
- 30:38Speaker 6: That's not a coffee table book, and it's not a
- 30:39Speaker 6: chapter book.
- 30:40Speaker 5: I hate that size. By the way, what do you
- 30:42Speaker 5: do with it? I'm trying to cook.
- 30:43Speaker 4: You can't put it in a book a bookshelf.
- 30:44Speaker 5: You I can't put it anywhere.
- 30:46Speaker 4: I know it takes them so much counter room.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't even do my v's and for us
- 30:50Speaker 3: for my spices to know you think they'd make me
- 30:54Speaker 3: smile and it kind of makes me feel like, uh,
- 30:58Speaker 3: you know, like when this happened to guys.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Oh, why you have a fun game. How about we
- 31:04Speaker 1: play one of our sounds that we've made for one
- 31:08Speaker 1: of our movies and we all have to guess what
- 31:11Speaker 1: it is.
- 31:11Speaker 4: I love this game, y, guess how we made it
- 31:14Speaker 4: or what the sound of that is.
- 31:16Speaker 3: I like the first one, the first one.
- 31:18Speaker 4: Okay, so what that sound is?
- 31:20Speaker 3: What that sound is?
- 31:20Speaker 4: Okay, Greg's what that sound is? Okay, here we go,
- 31:24Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I'll go first. I'll go first. Ready, can I can I?
- 31:32Speaker 1: Can I buzz in?
- 31:33Speaker 3: Let's go ahead?
- 31:34Speaker 1: Guns?
- 31:34Speaker 2: Yes?
- 31:34Speaker 5: Okay?
- 31:35Speaker 4: Can it is AK forty seven?
- 31:37Speaker 3: Close?
- 31:37Speaker 5: There?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Can I buzz in one of those machine guns they
- 31:40Speaker 2: shoot off the top of a of a of a
- 31:42Speaker 2: car in a World War two movie?
- 31:43Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, it got more specific and more specific.
- 31:47Speaker 3: It was the top machine gun on the top of
- 31:51Speaker 3: a World War two jeep.
- 31:53Speaker 5: Oh I was closed.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Let's hear it again, so you guys can tell. And
- 32:02Speaker 3: to be clear, that scream is just your signature, it's
- 32:04Speaker 3: my signature.
- 32:05Speaker 6: So you're a member of SAG as well. Huh, yes,
- 32:08Speaker 6: I work with you, do ADR and the folly.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Wow. I mostly just do commercials.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Okay for you? Okay, my turn?
- 32:14Speaker 3: Cool? Can I by then? That's two people having sex.
- 32:25Speaker 5: Can I was in? That's somebody trying to wake a
- 32:27Speaker 5: baby up?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Can I buzz in?
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yes?
- 32:30Speaker 1: This is two people. They met at a bar and
- 32:33Speaker 1: they had an instant connection. One asks to go to
- 32:37Speaker 1: the other's apartment. The other is reluctant. She just got
- 32:41Speaker 1: out of a relationship. But maybe, just maybe, tonight is
- 32:46Speaker 1: the night they go upstairs and then they have a
- 32:50Speaker 1: surprisingly nurturing sexual encounter. It does not last long, but
- 32:56Speaker 1: it is fulfilling.
- 32:59Speaker 4: It was a baby waking a baby, but you are
- 33:04Speaker 4: so close?
- 33:06Speaker 1: Was close?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Just quick question that we'll get back to the game.
- 33:10Speaker 2: How do you feel like growing up in Werner Hurdzng's house.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Wild, I'm just like every other boy. I would stand
- 33:20Speaker 1: up in the morning, and Werner would be in another room,
- 33:25Speaker 1: off screen, so to say, sort of narrating what I
- 33:28Speaker 1: was doing. He would say things like, the boy has
- 33:32Speaker 1: arisen from his morning nap. He proceeds to the bathroom
- 33:37Speaker 1: to urinate and relieve himself of yesterday's water.
- 33:43Speaker 3: The craziest thing from me is how he called sleeping
- 33:45Speaker 3: a morning nap.
- 33:50Speaker 1: He proceeds into the kitchen to nourish his belly with
- 33:54Speaker 1: the Cereal of the Gods. This is, of course Poseidon
- 34:00Speaker 1: Captain Crunch.
- 34:02Speaker 4: But Sidon Captain Crunch, it would go henceforth from there.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Wow, that does seem very normal, And I do like
- 34:09Speaker 3: how you work for Animal Planet. Does your dad have
- 34:11Speaker 3: any really strong feelings about that?
- 34:13Speaker 1: He likes it. Well, he's a little disappointed that I'm
- 34:17Speaker 1: not going a little more artistic and advanced. Of course,
- 34:22Speaker 1: Berner tends to taple tackle big projects, and he think
- 34:26Speaker 1: I sold out to the networks.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Yes, because Animal Planet doesn't really have a lot of
- 34:31Speaker 3: nature documentaries. It's more like nature reality TV shows.
- 34:36Speaker 5: My Cat from Hell? Do you my Cat from Hell?
- 34:39Speaker 1: I do?
- 34:39Speaker 4: Do my Cat, My Cat from Hell?
- 34:41Speaker 5: I love Jackson Maine. Isn't that his name? That's not
- 34:44Speaker 5: his name is Jackson?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Do you work on Caesar Milan? Do you work on
- 34:47Speaker 3: Caesar Caesar Milan?
- 34:49Speaker 1: So he comes over. I do a lot of Caesar's
- 34:53Speaker 1: leather jackets, hitting the doors as he walks in the
- 34:57Speaker 1: houses to try so.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Caesar, and that makes sense. They shoot that show on
- 35:02Speaker 3: a very long lens.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Lens get me further away.
- 35:06Speaker 3: I've heard that everybody's scared of the dogs train hundreds
- 35:10Speaker 3: of feet away.
- 35:11Speaker 4: Well, it's like a safety issue. You have all those.
- 35:14Speaker 2: I also heard they only get clearance to be in
- 35:15Speaker 2: every other ZIP code, so if they're shooting in one
- 35:18Speaker 2: DIP code, they have to be in another one on
- 35:20Speaker 2: the far away.
- 35:21Speaker 3: It's true.
- 35:22Speaker 1: It makes it difficult for the camera departments. Not so
- 35:26Speaker 1: difficult for me because I get more working therefore more income.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Okay, game, game, I want to hear.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I have a noise that I would love for you
- 35:36Speaker 2: guys to guess this. This is one of my favorite
- 35:37Speaker 2: noises I ever made.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Norman, Okay, can we hear it?
- 35:45Speaker 5: One? Mort?
- 35:46Speaker 3: I sure?
- 35:51Speaker 1: I would say, an alien going back and forth in time. Oh,
- 35:56Speaker 1: I'm so sorry, now I buzz in.
- 35:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I was really freaked out you had Yes.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Okay, I'll say it again. This was an alien going
- 36:05Speaker 1: back and forth in time.
- 36:07Speaker 5: Okay.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's a good guess.
- 36:10Speaker 4: May I buzz in you may I'm gonna guess it's
- 36:14Speaker 4: a lady alien's water breaking?
- 36:17Speaker 3: Okay, may I ah, buzz in. I think it's uh
- 36:24Speaker 3: maybe what it is is an alien punching another alien
- 36:29Speaker 3: through the belly, and it's the noise of the spine
- 36:32Speaker 3: popping out of the back of the chest.
- 36:36Speaker 5: Those are all wonderful guesses. It was the sound of
- 36:39Speaker 5: a spaceship opening.
- 36:41Speaker 3: H D.
- 36:42Speaker 4: I should have thought of a door.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Can we hear?
- 36:44Speaker 2: Were?
- 36:44Speaker 5: People don't remember that there aren't just aliens in space,
- 36:49Speaker 5: there are doors. There are ships.
- 36:55Speaker 6: That made me think of some of your work, Norman,
- 36:57Speaker 6: when I saw there was an alien movie of some
- 36:59Speaker 6: sort that I saw in an alien flush.
- 37:01Speaker 4: The toilet and it made me giggle. Yes, oh yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 4: because I was like, that's a toilet in space.
- 37:06Speaker 5: Well, you're probably thinking of Spinkle.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I loved Spinkle. It was so beautiful.
- 37:13Speaker 2: It was really so the pitch in the room because
- 37:16Speaker 2: this is one of the first movies they brought me on.
- 37:18Speaker 5: They brought me on as a fully artist to pitch it.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Which I've never been involved. Diamon me Matt Damon and
- 37:27Speaker 2: Ava du Verna and we went in. We went all
- 37:31Speaker 2: over the place and we pitched this funny little thing
- 37:34Speaker 2: called Spinkle, and it was it was et meets Dodgeball,
- 37:39Speaker 2: and it was really fun. It was a bunch of
- 37:41Speaker 2: aliens living in space and there's a big tournament and
- 37:47Speaker 2: the aliens have to go up against each other. And
- 37:50Speaker 2: I'll tell you what this was a fully artist's sweat dream, aliens.
- 37:54Speaker 5: Throwing balls, aliens going against each other.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I mean, it was all getting excited to justin.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I'm thinking about it, and I'm glowing thinking about it
- 38:07Speaker 2: because it was the most fun.
- 38:10Speaker 6: I bet all your partners felt so neglected when you
- 38:12Speaker 6: were working on it because you were working so hard.
- 38:14Speaker 5: My partner said, are we gonna have to throw a
- 38:17Speaker 5: banquet for Spinkle? That was the joker on the house.
- 38:22Speaker 5: It was gonna be our new partner we were inviting
- 38:24Speaker 5: into the relationship. Of course that's not the case.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Of course not are they Do you have to worry
- 38:35Speaker 1: that your partners might dismiss you?
- 38:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 38:39Speaker 2: Yes, that's what keeps it healthy. We're all constantly worried,
- 38:44Speaker 2: and we're all trying to carry our weight. I think
- 38:47Speaker 2: a good relationship is worrying that if you stop putting
- 38:51Speaker 2: forth something, you'll be dismissed.
- 38:53Speaker 6: Wow, I mean do you just feel like, yeah, you
- 38:56Speaker 6: guys feel like you have trouble in Like just like
- 39:00Speaker 6: with my husband, he's trying to constantly tell me to
- 39:02Speaker 6: stop working because it's hard for me. He brought me
- 39:05Speaker 6: for our twenty fifth anniversary, he brought me to Flappers
- 39:08Speaker 6: comedy in Burbank.
- 39:10Speaker 5: I love Flappers.
- 39:11Speaker 3: It was such I love flappers.
- 39:12Speaker 6: Would you believe When we were leaving, I couldn't get
- 39:17Speaker 6: my ear off the floor because I loved listening to
- 39:19Speaker 6: the people walking on this three inch stage.
- 39:24Speaker 4: I was on all fours just listening.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I'm a sucker for a hollow stage. I mean, if
- 39:29Speaker 2: I hear one, I just run. I mean, it's so interesting.
- 39:32Speaker 4: I needed to hear it.
- 39:33Speaker 6: And he was like, honey, get up, this is embarrassing.
- 39:35Speaker 6: You're on the ground, and I I it's just it's
- 39:38Speaker 6: an interesting.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Reason to stand up and still make fun of you.
- 39:42Speaker 1: It's been tough on my relationships as well, because I
- 39:46Speaker 1: used to date or I was married to rather another
- 39:50Speaker 1: folly artist. Oh and her name was Miranda Lambert, no relation.
- 39:57Speaker 3: To Adam Lambert.
- 40:01Speaker 5: She random the famous country.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Season famous singer Adam Lambert, which no relationship.
- 40:09Speaker 2: So Adam Lambert and Marina Libert are not related to
- 40:12Speaker 2: each other. And this Miranda Lambert and the other men
- 40:14Speaker 2: Miranda Lambert are also not related to each other.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Miranda Lambert no relation is related to real Adam.
- 40:22Speaker 4: That's what I have a feeling.
- 40:24Speaker 3: That's what I said. That's what I was asking, you.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Were saying okay. I got confused. But anyway, we as
- 40:30Speaker 1: fully artists married couple developed sort of a folly language.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So a lot of times if we were thinking I
- 40:37Speaker 1: love you, we would say.
- 40:40Speaker 3: What an awful noise for I love?
- 40:44Speaker 1: What did work for us?
- 40:47Speaker 3: So when eventually we from divorce, what part of I
- 40:50Speaker 3: loved you a noise?
- 40:52Speaker 5: Criticize?
- 40:53Speaker 2: Love?
- 40:53Speaker 5: Love comes all.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Found of two paint scrapers scriping against each other.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Oh that is sweet, beautiful.
- 41:02Speaker 1: And so when we divorced and I dated a new woman,
- 41:06Speaker 1: she could not pick up on the language she did
- 41:11Speaker 1: not know, which meant.
- 41:12Speaker 3: She must have thought there was some sort of ambre
- 41:14Speaker 3: alert or something going off.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yes, she kept checking her I have license plate.
- 41:19Speaker 3: My boyfriend he's great. His name is Gami, and he
- 41:24Speaker 3: is so now when I bring work home, because like,
- 41:27Speaker 3: how else do you talk about the day?
- 41:28Speaker 5: You know?
- 41:29Speaker 3: I'm like, okay. So then we go in and it
- 41:30Speaker 3: was just like.
- 41:33Speaker 5: And then.
- 41:42Speaker 4: And then when the mash pic gets blown up at
- 41:44Speaker 4: the end, yes.
- 41:45Speaker 3: The mosh pit, And then I saw she in this
- 41:46Speaker 3: movie and this car flipped and it was like and
- 41:53Speaker 3: Gami is like, what are you going on about? I
- 41:56Speaker 3: don't understand a word you're saying.
- 41:57Speaker 5: I hate him. That's so Rod.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Yeah, he's there.
- 42:00Speaker 4: I gotta let you have your process.
- 42:01Speaker 3: They have, I know, and my process is talking to
- 42:04Speaker 3: anybody about it.
- 42:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 42:06Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 42:06Speaker 6: I would love to all go around and say how
- 42:08Speaker 6: we would say I love you in a sound before
- 42:10Speaker 6: we end this off, because I think it's I just
- 42:14Speaker 6: I really when you said.
- 42:18Speaker 4: I really, I feel like I got closer to you, and.
- 42:21Speaker 1: I feel that way about all of you. I know
- 42:24Speaker 1: it's only been forty four minutes together, but I believe
- 42:29Speaker 1: that we have such a connection. And if you don't mind,
- 42:33Speaker 1: I would love to get some.
- 42:35Speaker 3: I would love that this. Oh maybe also some oh.
- 42:41Speaker 4: My god, meatballs. I would love to grab meatballs.
- 42:45Speaker 5: What a little bit of what about a little bit
- 42:47Speaker 5: of a.

- 42:55Speaker 6: Report it's either a stouter or a cab that was
- 42:58Speaker 6: either cabin nice avign Yon.
- 43:00Speaker 3: It's so similar. Yeah, and maybe after we could go
- 43:03Speaker 3: a little.
- 43:09Speaker 4: Rocu city.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Maybe after we can go some.
- 43:18Speaker 5: I think so oh ice cream ice cream.
- 43:24Speaker 4: I would love After the ice cream, maybe we.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Maybe road trip road trip driving a car.
- 43:34Speaker 5: I hope our car doesn't break down.
- 43:36Speaker 3: But maybe maybe what we can do after that is break.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Going up.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Usicle chairs on top of the American fountains.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Okay, but I'm seeing a huge life for us and
- 43:51Speaker 2: I think I really see in our future some day.
- 43:59Speaker 4: I know this sound hospice anywhere.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I can tell in this scenario, probably two to three weeks.
- 44:07Speaker 6: To live, and I think it's an in home hospice
- 44:10Speaker 6: versus hospital hospitals.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Definitely in And just because it's my thing, I would
- 44:14Speaker 3: love to feel like what this feels like when it
- 44:17Speaker 3: blows up. You know, this would be such a fun
- 44:19Speaker 3: thing to blow up later.
- 44:20Speaker 4: Absolutely, I would love to.
- 44:21Speaker 5: I want to answer your question, I love you. The
- 44:24Speaker 5: sound for me has got to be ah.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Yes, I had a little sprinkle in there.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I I when you do one, it sticks with you sometimes,
- 44:36Speaker 2: and I'll never not have a little bit of spinkle
- 44:39Speaker 2: in me.
- 44:40Speaker 4: What about you?
- 44:42Speaker 3: The noise for love for me is don't drop it,
- 44:55Speaker 3: don't drop it.
