- 0:17Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 1: First Masters. I can recall without Phil and Tiger.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, I didn't even think about it.
- 0:26Speaker 1: That's that's next week though, eight seven seven ninety nine
- 0:30Speaker 1: on Fox eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Izzy,
- 0:33Speaker 1: would you like to hear from Luca as it relates
- 0:36Speaker 1: to the MVP. I'm gonna put Luca and Wemby side
- 0:38Speaker 1: by side here for you. Here is Luca when asked
- 0:41Speaker 1: about the NBA's MVP.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Obviously, you're getting a lot of MVP momentum right now,
- 0:46Speaker 4: another forty point games only.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Adding to that, Wemby.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Obviously recently stated his case for why he should win.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Is that something you're interested in doing as well? And
- 0:55Speaker 4: if so, what would your points be?
- 0:58Speaker 6: I mean, I never did that, so I'm not gonna
- 1:01Speaker 6: I'm not the one voting, so you know, but I
- 1:05Speaker 6: think I've been playing pretty good.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We've been winning, so that's it.
- 1:09Speaker 7: That's all I gotta say.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Now, that's how you handle the situation. Here is Wemby
- 1:14Speaker 1: last night after another big win. This is chapter fifteen
- 1:18Speaker 1: of why he should be the MVP.
- 1:20Speaker 8: How important is that to you eventually, whether it's now
- 1:23Speaker 8: or somewhere down the road, to be recognized as the
- 1:26Speaker 8: best player in this league?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I do care deeply about it.
- 1:29Speaker 9: And I think that all the greats you know that
- 1:32Speaker 9: are in the Hall of Fame or that are in
- 1:34Speaker 9: our mind the best of all time, they have fought
- 1:38Speaker 9: and grabbed everything they could grab early on in their career,
- 1:42Speaker 9: you know. And if I want to make my spot
- 1:44Speaker 9: among the grades, I gotta try to not miss any
- 1:48Speaker 9: occasion I have to put my name up there.
- 1:52Speaker 7: It feels like, if Wemby and Luca are neck and neck,
- 1:54Speaker 7: Wemby's got more neck.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Right, that's so much more neck. Yeah, it doesn't even
- 1:58Speaker 3: start until after Luca's head put it on the Paul Taylor.
- 2:02Speaker 1: If Wemby and Luca are neck and neck for the MVP,
- 2:06Speaker 1: does Wenby have more neck?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I mean, if their neck and neck, Luca has to
- 2:10Speaker 3: be standing on two boxes.
- 2:13Speaker 1: But you are so right about this? Is he because
- 2:16Speaker 1: Wemby keeps lobbying. Now he's being asked a question and
- 2:18Speaker 1: he's answering that question honestly, But I am certain that
- 2:22Speaker 1: Luca has not thought about it, or maybe he has,
- 2:25Speaker 1: but he's certainly not going to give you or state
- 2:28Speaker 1: some sort of MVP case because he knows the voters
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't want to hear it.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Well, Luca, I don't know if it's his personality or
- 2:35Speaker 3: if he's just following what he believes is the act
- 2:38Speaker 3: that you're supposed to follow in the NBA. But Lucas,
- 2:41Speaker 3: Luca's one of the cool guys.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Luca like talks to the refs.
- 2:44Speaker 3: He's like, I'm the best who can't Like he's not
- 2:46Speaker 3: going to make a case for his MVP because he's
- 2:49Speaker 3: just too cool for that. Like that's not his move,
- 2:51Speaker 3: right Wemby Where he says young players got everything that
- 2:57Speaker 3: they got when they could at a young age, When
- 3:00Speaker 3: did and I'm asking this honestly, I don't know the answer.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I was trying to look it up, but I didn't
- 3:04Speaker 3: want to ignore the show. When did Michael Jordan win
- 3:06Speaker 3: his first Most Valuable Player Award?
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm not saying he should have won it every year
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm not certain. I'm not certain the first year. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: think it was eighty five, maybe eighty eighty seven, eighty eight,
- 3:16Speaker 1: eighty eight.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Okay, so Lucas what in his third year in the league,
- 3:19Speaker 3: and that was about Jordan's fourth year in the league.
- 3:22Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean, I guess there's something to that,
- 3:24Speaker 3: right if you are going to lobby for MVP, it's
- 3:28Speaker 3: going to be when you're young and you have the
- 3:29Speaker 3: excuse of, hey, I'm a kid, I can say what
- 3:32Speaker 3: I want. I've got to get more experience in order
- 3:35Speaker 3: to know to back off what I think. Wenby knows
- 3:37Speaker 3: the league well enough, and I think he's just defiant
- 3:39Speaker 3: as a human being right now, which if you're that
- 3:42Speaker 3: size and you're that dumb, and I'm like, go ahead
- 3:44Speaker 3: and be defiant, Like, I don't know anybody else in
- 3:46Speaker 3: the league who can say what he says and really
- 3:48Speaker 3: get away with it. Not that he's fully getting away
- 3:50Speaker 3: with it. Some people are critical of him, but yeah,
- 3:52Speaker 3: he could kind of say whatever he wants because he's
- 3:53Speaker 3: established himself as like a different person but the people
- 3:56Speaker 3: who a different personality, but the people who care the
- 3:59Speaker 3: most about him saying that they're not the voters. It's
- 4:01Speaker 3: just the other other players in the league. They just
- 4:03Speaker 3: lose a little bit of interest in that because they
- 4:06Speaker 3: feel like he doesn't need to lobby. Look at you, man,
- 4:08Speaker 3: everybody can notice what you're doing.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's been so it's such a foreign concept of these
- 4:12Speaker 1: players to have someone care this much that he's willing
- 4:15Speaker 1: to state out loud during interviews. Yes, I am the MVP.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And here is why.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Because most of these like Luca doesn't need an award
- 4:23Speaker 3: to tell himself that he is the man like he
- 4:25Speaker 3: believes he is the best offensive force in the game,
- 4:27Speaker 3: and most people would probably agree.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but Wemby knows that they are judged by those awards.
- 4:32Speaker 1: They are historically, they kind of are rings and MVPs.
- 4:35Speaker 1: What else do you go to?
- 4:36Speaker 3: Where was Dayne Rings? For sure? But where was Dwyane
- 4:38Speaker 3: Wade on that list of a top one hundred Bleacher
- 4:41Speaker 3: Reports NBA players of all time from last year?
- 4:43Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:44Speaker 7: I don't have eighty five.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yes, I think he was twenty three.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I think he was eighty five.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yes, I think he was twenty three, and I think
- 4:52Speaker 3: maybe top three in MVP one time. His you know,
- 4:55Speaker 3: the two thousand and eight two thousand and nine season.
- 4:57Speaker 3: So the MVP part whatever, man like, there are players
- 5:00Speaker 3: believe you know, Jokic probably believes he should win it
- 5:02Speaker 3: every year and that people are just tired of voting
- 5:04Speaker 3: for him, which I still contend. If Nikola Jokic had
- 5:08Speaker 3: zero MVPs, he would be in first place this season
- 5:12Speaker 3: as long as he reaches the sixty five gay minimum.
- 5:15Speaker 3: As Taylor pointed out yesterday, he's top five and ZZZ plus.
- 5:21Speaker 1: No one's getting voter fatigue with Jokic, are they? Absolutely?
- 5:25Speaker 3: Nobody wants to give this guy six MVPs and say
- 5:27Speaker 3: you're on the same level as Jordan because they don't
- 5:30Speaker 3: think of them as you know, basketball equivalents, even though
- 5:33Speaker 3: they are.
- 5:33Speaker 7: Right now, is it a foreign concept because it feels
- 5:36Speaker 7: like only foreigners win this MVP award?
- 5:38Speaker 3: Now someone caring, Yeah, I'd like to since all the
- 5:44Speaker 3: foreigners win it, like to keep it in North America.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Let's share. Get another one.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Let's go out to Mike who was in Seattle today. Mike,
- 5:50Speaker 1: go ahead, you're on Fox Sports Radio.
- 5:52Speaker 10: Hey, thanks for taking my call.
- 5:54Speaker 3: What do you think about the Seattle Marriers making it
- 5:57Speaker 3: to the World Series this year? And then I mean it.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, Julio Rodriguez needs to get off
- 6:04Speaker 1: to a hotter start enough. I mean he think every year,
- 6:06Speaker 1: this guy thinks this season starts like game forty four.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I mean it started five days ago. Let's go right.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I have no idea about this man's history in the
- 6:15Speaker 3: starting season.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I mean big jumper, more like big slumper. How about that?
- 6:20Speaker 1: Thank you God? That makes me feel so much better
- 6:24Speaker 1: having that sound come on right after I say that.
- 6:27Speaker 3: It's amazing. Somebody was saying that at the Seattle Mariners.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Was it Tim Kirchen saying that the Mariners might be
- 6:34Speaker 3: a World Series favorite?
- 6:35Speaker 1: I have no idea.
- 6:36Speaker 7: Yeah, that was Kirching. Was it really good rotation? They
- 6:38Speaker 7: have Luis Castillo absolutely shoved against the Yankees, but overall
- 6:42Speaker 7: the Mariners have got off to a slow start. Three
- 6:44Speaker 7: and four, we.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Are doing sports radio, man, We're talking Mariners baseball.
- 6:48Speaker 7: They just got Brendan Donovan. Brendan Donovan has been a
- 6:52Speaker 7: great acquisition by them.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's baseball.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yes, Chad Gpt says, they're built for close games. They're
- 6:59Speaker 3: comfortable winning three to two, four to three type of games.
- 7:01Speaker 3: That's exactly what postseason baseball turns into that.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Thing's gonna replace She was a host one day.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Hey, listen, I'm just trying to help out the caller man.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Maybe he doesn't have the twenty bucks a month to
- 7:09Speaker 3: pay for the chat GPT. I'm just giving him the option.
- 7:13Speaker 7: That's baseball is one of the best drops that we have.
- 7:15Speaker 7: That just disarmed me and made me laugh so much.
- 7:17Speaker 1: That's baseball, thank you. Who is the guy the Mariners
- 7:21Speaker 1: just picked up what's.
- 7:22Speaker 7: His name, Brendan Donovan from the Cardinals Instant dividends? I mean,
- 7:25Speaker 7: what's instant dividends? Adding four to seventeen? Great defense?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yes, how many games has he played?
- 7:31Speaker 7: Seven?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Listen, I just said Otani he is overrated based on
- 7:37Speaker 1: his one sixty seven start. So I can't get mad
- 7:39Speaker 1: at you. In fact, I'm proud of you.
- 7:40Speaker 3: We've got a caller, Michael in Miami. He apparently wants
- 7:42Speaker 3: to discuss the seventy two Dolphins, and if he does
- 7:44Speaker 3: not tell us why the seventy two Dolphins were so special, Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 3: I'm gonna be disappointed.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Let's go to Michael in Miami. Go ahead, Michael, you're
- 7:51Speaker 1: on Fox Sports Radio.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Hey, it's Mike in Miami.
- 7:55Speaker 1: We established that.
- 7:59Speaker 6: So I just wanted to say that the seventy two
- 8:01Speaker 6: Dolphins were so.
- 8:02Speaker 7: Special because they won all the games.
- 8:04Speaker 9: And that's it.
- 8:05Speaker 2: That's all I have.
- 8:07Speaker 3: That's a great point.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Who is this one of the all time callers to
- 8:15Speaker 1: the show that I did with Dad?
- 8:18Speaker 3: That's an easy call to replicate, and it hits every time.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That was Betty and Fort Lauderdale. I'll never forget that name.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I'll never forget where he was the day he called in,
- 8:27Speaker 1: to where I was the day he called in.
- 8:29Speaker 3: But one of the great calls. It's sports radio history.
- 8:33Speaker 3: In fact, look at you, Irish Sam.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Play it Betty in Fort Loaderdale, Lauderdale. You're on seven
- 8:40Speaker 1: ninety Hi, this is Betty for Fort Lauderdale. We've established that.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I want to say that the seventy two Dolphins are
- 8:50Speaker 3: so special because they won every game, and then they
- 8:52Speaker 3: won all the playoff games.
- 8:54Speaker 7: That's a pretty good call. Who is this.
- 9:03Speaker 11: Now?
- 9:03Speaker 7: I don't think that guy was joking, right, man?
- 9:07Speaker 3: Even the name Benny just sounds like a grown man
- 9:10Speaker 3: named Benny.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's just weird. That was Mark Cockman's voice you heard
- 9:14Speaker 1: right there with stegotzen Hawk And new episode is out
- 9:17Speaker 1: right now. We broke down our interview we did with
- 9:20Speaker 1: Roberto Duran, who couldn't speak English or understand what Dan
- 9:24Speaker 1: was asking him because he didn't understand English at a time.
- 9:29Speaker 3: It was a different time.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yes, that is what we broke down on today's show
- 9:33Speaker 1: eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. So Taylor yesterday
- 9:37Speaker 1: asked if Italy has sports radio, and I said, I'm
- 9:40Speaker 1: not certain, but if they do, Jim Rome should be
- 9:42Speaker 1: the host. I was waiting for it. I wanted to
- 9:47Speaker 1: sound right there. I didn't get it. I got it yesterday.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But Taylor has also told those here that he has
- 9:52Speaker 1: mapped out his Italian show and what it would sound
- 9:55Speaker 1: like is he how do you imagine Taylor doing this? Like,
- 9:58Speaker 1: there's no way he's a out to do it for
- 10:00Speaker 1: us for the first time. He does this at home,
- 10:03Speaker 1: staring in a mirror, right, I.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Mean, he's gotta give it a couple of practice shots,
- 10:07Speaker 3: maybe on the car right over so he doesn't have
- 10:09Speaker 3: to look at himself.
- 10:10Speaker 7: And I'm not entirely confident in this one.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I mean, how could you be? That's all right?
- 10:16Speaker 3: You got an Italian background, You're clear.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I mean, yesterday all we had was mom.
- 10:20Speaker 2: And me.
- 10:24Speaker 1: A All right, So how do you want to do this? Taylor?
- 10:30Speaker 1: You want to you just want to start going and
- 10:32Speaker 1: doing your show. This is Taylor if he was a
- 10:33Speaker 1: sports radio host, if he was Jim Rome doing a
- 10:36Speaker 1: show in Italy.
- 10:37Speaker 7: But Sam, first, I need the music.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Now, you know what you're listening to?
- 10:42Speaker 7: A banjo Ragatzi. It's on me, Mike Franches and Mamma Mia.
- 10:50Speaker 7: We miss a third consecutive World Cup. Gabrielle Gravini resigned,
- 10:54Speaker 7: Johan Luigi bufun is stepping down. This bouf fun is
- 10:58Speaker 7: a buffoon. Enough Abastanza, it's time to fire Gennaro Gattuso.
- 11:05Speaker 7: The g's in both Gennaro and Gattuso. Stanford, get him
- 11:10Speaker 7: out of here, and don't get me started on our goalkeeper,
- 11:15Speaker 7: John Luigi don Orama. I'm done Oramo with him. Fanito.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I've got my top five people in sports who knota
- 11:26Speaker 7: Italy exciting chinkwe mat milanok Quatro, Florence Griffin, Joiner, Flow,
- 11:40Speaker 7: Joe Pray, Jim Rome, DII Roma, you're Jim ro Due,
- 11:48Speaker 7: mic Napoli.
- 11:51Speaker 3: In America, the column, Mike Naples, who.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Barry Bonds? Here comes Calmo Leo Zori should hire Ces
- 12:03Speaker 7: Fabrigas or Francisco Savelli. In other news, Vinni Pascutino is
- 12:09Speaker 7: off to a slow start in a Kansas City to
- 12:12Speaker 7: start the season in the Miami Heat. Need to play
- 12:14Speaker 7: Simoni from Techio more. It's all we have todayci.
- 12:22Speaker 1: So when he shares my man, I need to come
- 12:25Speaker 1: hug you.
- 12:25Speaker 3: We're gonna need a segment every week.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I want people to call into them.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Number two, whire English, peep English listeners listening to this
- 12:35Speaker 3: Italian show where they're not shows in Italian in Italy,
- 12:39Speaker 3: doesn't matter. Don't answer that question. Number three, what is
- 12:41Speaker 3: the show? The mind abastanza? You said, what does that mean?
- 12:45Speaker 1: Enough?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Okay? And my favorite part Kansas City clearly the best party.
- 12:52Speaker 3: When you worked on a little bit, it was amazing, Mikey,
- 12:55Speaker 3: I'm so proud of him.
- 12:57Speaker 12: It's wonderful.
- 12:58Speaker 7: Yes, can we get Italian Taylor and an Irish Sam? Like,
- 13:04Speaker 7: can we get span the continent?
- 13:08Speaker 1: Potato? Knuk just made it sound like he was turned on.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Sounds like a war from a few hundred years ago.
- 13:16Speaker 1: So what do you want exactly? Here a conversation between
- 13:19Speaker 1: Irish Sam and Italian Taylor.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I've got it, Yes we need the next time Taylor
- 13:24Speaker 3: hosts a show to take a call calling from Ireland, Sam.
- 13:30Speaker 5: I'll step out in the hall call in from across
- 13:32Speaker 5: on a pond.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:33Speaker 3: So you have Irish Sam visiting Italy and he's tuning
- 13:36Speaker 3: into his to a sports radio show and calling into
- 13:39Speaker 3: that show for some reason, huge Italian soccer fan, but
- 13:42Speaker 3: he lives in Ireland, so you got to come over
- 13:44Speaker 3: to Italy and that's this is where he's got. He's like, wow,
- 13:46Speaker 3: it's my dream scenario. An English speaking radio sports show
- 13:50Speaker 3: in Italy.

- 14:21Speaker 1: Old Junior going to join us in about twenty minutes.
- 14:23Speaker 1: It's a think about it Thursday. But I'm going to
- 14:26Speaker 1: talk right now. Let's take some calls. Let's go to Thomas,
- 14:28Speaker 1: who's in Iowa.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Thomas, go ahead, you're on Fox Sports Radio, Thomas.
- 14:33Speaker 6: I just want to bring this up. I've been hearing
- 14:35Speaker 6: a lot blowback on the coach had buddy in the referee.
- 14:39Speaker 6: What if they took away that moment, did the technical
- 14:43Speaker 6: Duke wins the game? Nobody would love that.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Nobody.
- 14:48Speaker 6: There's a great courage and balls for the referee to
- 14:51Speaker 6: not blow that whistle and.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Have it end the game like that.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Uh, that is fair. I think Duke would have been
- 14:56Speaker 1: happy with that.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I think even Duke would have been. I really relost
- 15:01Speaker 3: on a tech we want on a technicality because honestly,
- 15:05Speaker 3: that referee said himself it was an absolute nothing burger,
- 15:08Speaker 3: and that you know he was whatever the reason is,
- 15:11Speaker 3: it looked like they had a decent relationship. It was not.
- 15:14Speaker 3: It didn't seem contentious.
- 15:16Speaker 1: So that's the problem for me. Why do they have
- 15:18Speaker 1: a decent relationship. I don't want to coach to have
- 15:21Speaker 1: any sort of decent relationship with anyone refereeing his games,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Right, I'm with you there, but I also the referees
- 15:27Speaker 3: have to understand who they're dealing. It's the same way
- 15:29Speaker 3: Draymond Green gets away with so much stuff that other
- 15:32Speaker 3: people would get a technical foul for. Well, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 3: Hurley's a little nutty. You know, he likes in the
- 15:37Speaker 3: motion to get in the way, and that didn't do
- 15:39Speaker 3: anything to intimidate the official, and so no technical foul.
- 15:43Speaker 7: If you guys were imagining a nothing burger, how are
- 15:46Speaker 7: you imagining it? Because I'm just the kind of imagining
- 15:48Speaker 7: bun nothing bun.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, sadus burger ever made correct.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I'm going I'm going just lettuce and nothing in between.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I have soggy bun. I mean that's all. I have,
- 15:57Speaker 1: just a soggy bun with nothing in between.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Could also change just a meat patty, take the bread
- 16:06Speaker 3: out of it. It's just like as a nothing burger.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Let's go to Anthony, who was in Wichita. It's nice
- 16:10Speaker 3: to meet all of you, by the way, I'll go ahead, Anthony.
- 16:13Speaker 10: Hey, it's always nice to be on you guys, to
- 16:15Speaker 10: show a long time listeners, second time caller. But I
- 16:17Speaker 10: want to have some fun with this Miami stuff because
- 16:19Speaker 10: what made Miami so special that callers did not complete
- 16:22Speaker 10: the story. Not only did they win every game and
- 16:24Speaker 10: win every playoff game, but they also won the Super Bowl.
- 16:28Speaker 9: En there's no.
- 16:29Speaker 10: Team called Tampa Bay who lost every game and didn't
- 16:32Speaker 10: even make the playoffs. And that's all I want to
- 16:35Speaker 10: pay on it. I want to give you both sides
- 16:37Speaker 10: of the fence once again. Thanks for taking my college
- 16:40Speaker 10: and have a terrific Thursday. Love your guys.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Show the man at the opposite of Betty and for it.
- 16:48Speaker 3: He wants to tell you who didn't win every game.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I'll add something else. Of that Dolphins team, they did
- 16:52Speaker 1: it most of the season with a backup quarterback.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I mean, how about that. Get on that, Benny.
- 16:57Speaker 1: It keeps getting better that season.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Let's go to Chez, who was in Cleveland today. Go ahead, Chaz,
- 17:03Speaker 3: you're on Fox Sports Radio. Is that how you pronounce
- 17:05Speaker 3: your name? Hey, guys, Chez in Ohio here for time,
- 17:10Speaker 3: long time calling from a landline.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Nice congratulations to you for having one.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yes accordless at least, or does it happen?
- 17:21Speaker 9: I wanted to address the nothing Burger Stu.
- 17:23Speaker 4: You're completely right.
- 17:24Speaker 8: They addressed this in the movie Good Burger nineteen ninety
- 17:28Speaker 8: seven and nothing Burger has nothing on it.
- 17:30Speaker 12: No Patty nothing, no fun nothing.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 8: AnyWho, it's college basketball weekend, big weekend coming up.
- 17:37Speaker 13: I'm curious all time starting five for college hoops players.
- 17:41Speaker 12: I can guess who the two guard is going to be.
- 17:43Speaker 12: Who else you guys got who's your time starting five
- 17:45Speaker 12: for college basketball players?
- 17:46Speaker 3: I'll hang up.
- 17:47Speaker 12: I love you guys.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Thanks Riveder, Jimmer Ferdet's got to be on there. Jimmifer
- 17:54Speaker 1: Det better not be on anyone's all time team. Okay,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I don't want to hear about it. You want to
- 17:58Speaker 1: call him a March Madness icon, that's acceptable. He should
- 18:02Speaker 1: not be on your all time college basketball team.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Got a mountain of any sort?
- 18:06Speaker 1: And by the way, that team is vastly different than
- 18:09Speaker 1: the all time NBA team, is it?
- 18:12Speaker 3: Well?
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean there are certain guys you could put
- 18:14Speaker 1: on there and I'd be okay with it. Guys like
- 18:17Speaker 1: Rameil Robinson. Really, Oh, he's a great college player. Glenn Rice.
- 18:23Speaker 1: That's a better one, is he? You know that it's
- 18:24Speaker 1: a great college player.
- 18:25Speaker 3: But can I give you my starting five and you
- 18:27Speaker 3: tell me which spot Glenn Rice takes?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Okay?
- 18:29Speaker 3: Go ahead? Magic Johnson, Yeah, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, yeah, Kareem.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I guess it is like Sindor. That's exactly like the NBA.
- 18:38Speaker 3: If you spent three or four years in college and
- 18:40Speaker 3: you're one of the top twenty best players in the NBA, yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 3: you're going to be somewhere near that.
- 18:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 18:44Speaker 1: But what the NCAA and college basketball and March is
- 18:47Speaker 1: all about is guys like Sleepy Floyd, I mean, put
- 18:52Speaker 1: it on the pole.
- 18:52Speaker 7: Deal, guys like Tyler Hansboro where it's like, I know
- 18:55Speaker 7: his game is not going to translate to the NBA,
- 18:58Speaker 7: but man, was he great for four years in Chapo Hill.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Good luck defending Luel Sindor.
- 19:04Speaker 7: I'll take my chances with cycle team.
- 19:06Speaker 1: No, you won't.
- 19:08Speaker 7: I didn't say it was gonna go well for me.
- 19:10Speaker 7: I just said I'm gonna take my chances.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yes, like Danny Manning should be on there, he should be.
- 19:16Speaker 2: No.
- 19:18Speaker 7: All third team.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Maybe Danny Manning had the run obviously win a championship.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But Tim Duncan in college, man like, he was incredible.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Did he make a Final four?
- 19:27Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I don't think he did. I mean Bird made it
- 19:31Speaker 1: to the finals. Magic made it to the finals and won.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I mean Danny Manning did it with Kansas though.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Right, I know, but a bad Kansas team. The second
- 19:40Speaker 1: best player on that team was a guy named Milton
- 19:42Speaker 1: Newton looking up, I'm serious.
- 19:45Speaker 12: Can you go far with a guy named Milt?
- 19:47Speaker 6: Well?
- 19:48Speaker 1: They did? They want and a scooter? They had a
- 19:52Speaker 1: scooter on there, Scooter, Barry. I don't know how I
- 19:56Speaker 1: remember this stuff. It's it's a ridiculous recall to have.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I can't remember what I did yesterday, but you asked
- 20:01Speaker 1: me in eighties Kansas basketball question. I got it, stupid
- 20:07Speaker 1: eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Let's go to Colin,
- 20:10Speaker 1: who's in Alberta. How about that? Go ahead? Colin?
- 20:13Speaker 11: Hey guy, thanks for having me on your program today.
- 20:18Speaker 11: I just want to say, Stu, it's nice to have
- 20:19Speaker 11: you back on old fashioned radio. You're really missed and
- 20:22Speaker 11: thank you. And Mike Junior got to get back on
- 20:24Speaker 11: Sunday shows because nothing beats a smoke break next to
- 20:28Speaker 11: a dumpster on a Sunday.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Yes, Mike, you used to do that, was MICHAELA. Junior
- 20:32Speaker 1: will join us at about ten minutes or so. I'm
- 20:34Speaker 1: not doing Sundays anymore though.
- 20:36Speaker 11: Oh that's too bad. Yeah, I don't blame you.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Still smoking on Sundays Thoughay, I won't love that every way,
- 20:41Speaker 3: Tim Duncan sorry, laughhead.
- 20:43Speaker 11: You guys had on the poll the worst place for
- 20:47Speaker 11: a frame Jersey right next to a public restroom.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Yeah that's where Taylor hangs.
- 20:51Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, and I got you for you, guys. The
- 20:53Speaker 11: top five frame Jersey is our best place next to
- 20:56Speaker 11: a public restroom.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Oh ohow okay, this is this is interesting. Go ahead,
- 21:01Speaker 1: you know this for a fact, is what you're saying.
- 21:03Speaker 11: Oh? Absolutely, yeah, Umber, Okay. So number five any player
- 21:07Speaker 11: with the last name Brown.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Good one, good one, all right, okay.
- 21:14Speaker 11: Number four Todd Bowles.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Bad not bad. I don't want to dump you, I
- 21:20Speaker 1: mean dump player named dump big dumpers.
- 21:27Speaker 11: Number three three, number three Lionel Messi.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yes, yes, of course, yes.
- 21:35Speaker 11: Number two And this was the kind of an interesting
- 21:38Speaker 11: one that I found Paul Pierce, oh yes, ye yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Where he faked the injury and he just really had
- 21:44Speaker 1: to go to the bathroom. Speaking of number two, PP,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I mean multi layered.
- 21:53Speaker 11: And last and at least the number one name is
- 21:57Speaker 11: Eric Jordan and or Jared's all.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Excellent Readercy.
- 22:04Speaker 3: All the Stall brothers should be right in front of
- 22:06Speaker 3: their toilet. In my opinion, multi layered is what use
- 22:14Speaker 3: peep and poop. By the way, Tim Duggant made an
- 22:17Speaker 3: Elite eight his senior year. That's the farthest.
- 22:19Speaker 1: That's not enough. You cannot be on an all time
- 22:21Speaker 1: ncuble a college basket minds.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Take him off. Put on Tyler Hansburg. I'm fine, really sure.
- 22:26Speaker 1: How about Danny Manning? Jimmer enough Jimmer power forward? I
- 22:34Speaker 1: mean enough of the guydercymmer this.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company
- 22:48Speaker 2: live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific on
- 22:52Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
- 22:57Speaker 1: The Valero Open. That's how you know it's master time
- 23:02Speaker 1: the tournament. Before the tournament, Mike Golett Jr. Is going
- 23:06Speaker 1: to join us.
- 23:06Speaker 3: We're to play some sound for him of Taylor's Italian
- 23:09Speaker 3: radio show Jim Rome.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Oh he's there, Look at him. Look at this. Oh
- 23:14Speaker 1: it makes me smile every time I see him. We
- 23:16Speaker 1: have some glorious sound for you. Mike Gold Junior. How
- 23:19Speaker 1: are you?
- 23:20Speaker 12: By the way, I'm doing good, Hi, guys doing.
- 23:23Speaker 1: We're doing good. We're having fun here. We're taking phone
- 23:25Speaker 1: calls talking Seattle Mariners baseball. How about that? That's right,
- 23:31Speaker 1: you're muted.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I'm back, Welcome back, second time, long time.
- 23:39Speaker 1: It is a think about it. It's a think about it. Thursday.
- 23:42Speaker 1: We'll get to our topic here with Mike gold Junior
- 23:45Speaker 1: in just a second. I have three choices for you
- 23:47Speaker 1: in terms of sound.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I have Christopher mad Dog Russo breaking down US presidents
- 23:53Speaker 1: in US history based off of a book that he read.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I have Taylor doing a show if he was in
- 23:59Speaker 1: a Italian sports radio host doing a show in Italy.
- 24:02Speaker 1: His name is Jim Rome. Okay, I have that for you.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I also have Taylor as Chris Berman saving baseball.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Which one of those three would you like to hear? First?
- 24:12Speaker 12: Wow, I need to start with Taylor as Chris Berman.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Take it away. I was a first.
- 24:18Speaker 7: I need, I need my music.
- 24:20Speaker 1: It's going to be him.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's going to be him as Chris Burbon.
- 24:23Speaker 7: We go out to Cincinnati to Great American Ballpark, or
- 24:27Speaker 7: as I like to call it, Late American Ballpark, because
- 24:30Speaker 7: we're still waiting for the Reds offense to show up
- 24:34Speaker 7: on the bump for Boston. It was Garrett Crow, say
- 24:38Speaker 7: can you see me throw six scoreless innings in his
- 24:42Speaker 7: season debut leading the way for the Socks. At the plate,
- 24:45Speaker 7: it was Roman Carmelo Anthony for three hits and Jaron Duran. Duran,
- 24:52Speaker 7: who was hungry like a wolf for this season to
- 24:54Speaker 7: get started, said forget your state farm, forget your all stake, Flip,
- 24:58Speaker 7: I've got your insurance right here. Heading that third run
- 25:02Speaker 7: for good measure in the ninth, then in for the save.
- 25:05Speaker 7: It was a raw dish chap Man, I feel Wolman
- 25:10Speaker 7: was much like my woman watching sports with me. The
- 25:13Speaker 7: only thing he wanted was for that game to end.
- 25:15Speaker 7: Red Sox three bread zero.
- 25:23Speaker 12: I got chills.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Yes we sure we didn't actually accidentally play Chris Berman.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Listen and Gojo. You'll love this because he's turning into
- 25:31Speaker 1: me and I'm so proud of him. I really am. Ever,
- 25:34Speaker 1: since he has done that, all he's asked me to
- 25:35Speaker 1: do is have Chris Berman.
- 25:37Speaker 12: Criticket for him. That is the final boss of this.
- 25:41Speaker 8: Yes, have Chris Berman on to break down Taylor as
- 25:44Speaker 8: Chris Berman tape and achieve sports talk about.
- 25:47Speaker 12: Howie, you guys are great at this?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yes, I am hoping that day is tomorrow. I'm doing
- 25:52Speaker 1: everything that I can to make that happen tomorrow. Here
- 25:55Speaker 1: are your two other choices before we get to think
- 25:57Speaker 1: about it. Thursday Taylor doing an Italian sport radio show,
- 26:01Speaker 1: or mad Dog talking about US history and US presidents.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Wow, this is.
- 26:08Speaker 12: This is tough, just because we already heard from Taylor.
- 26:11Speaker 12: I think I gotta do mad Dog talking about US.
- 26:13Speaker 1: As I like it. Hit it, Iowa, was that you Grant?
- 26:15Speaker 14: Of course the Union general, Lincoln's favorite general and his
- 26:19Speaker 14: best huge alcoholic chank like crazy. And then of course
- 26:23Speaker 14: the president for eight years and try to run again
- 26:25Speaker 14: the third time, and Garth Field beat him.
- 26:27Speaker 7: Anyway, he wrote.
- 26:28Speaker 14: A you know, he did the Q and A with
- 26:31Speaker 14: the author who wrote the Grant biography. And this is
- 26:35Speaker 14: a Chris Christie recommendation this book, by the way, so
- 26:38Speaker 14: he give him the credit. But he wrote the He asked,
- 26:42Speaker 14: this is something I did not realize. Lincoln in eighteen
- 26:47Speaker 14: sixty five in April, when he went to the Ford
- 26:50Speaker 14: Theater that night to see the play, he invited the
- 26:54Speaker 14: Grants to go with him, Ulysses and his wife, I
- 26:58Speaker 14: think her name is Julia. He asked the Grants beggdam.
- 27:03Speaker 14: You know the war was over a potomax. I think
- 27:07Speaker 14: I pronounced it right, oppomatics, that's correct. You know happened,
- 27:11Speaker 14: you know a couple of weeks before that was Robberdy
- 27:13Speaker 14: late and he asked, Lee, please, I'm going to the
- 27:16Speaker 14: theater tonight. It was good Friday, Hey, me and missus Lincoln,
- 27:19Speaker 14: could you please join us? And Grant wanted to go
- 27:22Speaker 14: in the worst way. His wife couldn't deal with Mary
- 27:27Speaker 14: Lincoln wanted nothing to do with her. He listens, I
- 27:32Speaker 14: can't do this. I can't put up with her, for
- 27:33Speaker 14: You're gonna drive me nuts, says She refused to go,
- 27:37Speaker 14: so Grant said, miss President, I can't go.
- 27:41Speaker 7: If Grant went, he.
- 27:43Speaker 14: Was going to bring his military entourage meaning protection, meaning
- 27:50Speaker 14: there's no way John Wilkes Booth gets into that Ford
- 27:53Speaker 14: Theater with a gun. Lincoln's alive.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Like he was a house listening.
- 28:04Speaker 8: I love it through all of this, and I'm I'm
- 28:08Speaker 8: a little disappointed in Doggie only for this reason that
- 28:11Speaker 8: he didn't go fully to the place where I thought
- 28:13Speaker 8: he was going to go, which is basically blaming Mary
- 28:16Speaker 8: Todd Lincoln for the assassination. Inadvertently that seems like what
- 28:21Speaker 8: he was tiptoeing right up to. I don't know if
- 28:23Speaker 8: it was out of a sent that decorum. Clearly a
- 28:25Speaker 8: man of great history, yes, but that seemed like what
- 28:27Speaker 8: he was inching towards.
- 28:28Speaker 3: How about Lincoln saying he really wanted them to go,
- 28:31Speaker 3: beg them, beg.
- 28:34Speaker 8: Them the war's over watch it play.
- 28:39Speaker 1: And he makes it, he makes it sound as if
- 28:41Speaker 1: Lincoln would still be alive today right now.
- 28:43Speaker 8: Yes, what I want to know is because every guy
- 28:47Speaker 8: has been through what Ulysses had been through right there,
- 28:50Speaker 8: right yes, where you've got to go run cover like
- 28:52Speaker 8: you're at home.
- 28:53Speaker 12: Your wife's like, babe, just can't do it, don't like her,
- 28:56Speaker 12: and so you've.
- 28:57Speaker 8: Got to go and invent the reason why you can't
- 29:00Speaker 8: go without betraying her publicly. So that would be if
- 29:04Speaker 8: Doggie could pull for me the excuse that Ulysses gave
- 29:07Speaker 8: to Lincoln for why they couldn't actually make it to
- 29:10Speaker 8: the play, that would be impressive.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Let's make sure we get him on next week and
- 29:13Speaker 1: ask him a right Taylor.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Every time I hear it, and I hear him say
- 29:18Speaker 3: the grants, I think Horace and Harvey, of course you
- 29:22Speaker 3: do the grants.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Yes. So yesterday Taylor asked the question mikey A and
- 29:27Speaker 1: Taylor about if there is sports radio in Italy and
- 29:31Speaker 1: I said, if there is, the host name needs to
- 29:33Speaker 1: be Jim Rome. And all we had yesterday in terms
- 29:39Speaker 1: of the show was Taylor sent greeting each caller with
- 29:42Speaker 1: mom and me and you know, letting them go by
- 29:46Speaker 1: saying Riven there she and that was it. It was
- 29:49Speaker 1: a limited show. It was a terrible show and now
- 29:51Speaker 1: it's turned into a great show because he has built
- 29:53Speaker 1: out the show. Here it is for you, Mike Taylor
- 29:56Speaker 1: as an Italian sports radio host.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Now you know who you're listening to, ah.
- 30:03Speaker 7: Banjono, Ragazzi. It's a MEA, Mike, Francese and Mama Mia.
- 30:09Speaker 7: We miss a third consecutive World Cup. Gabriel Gravini resigned.
- 30:14Speaker 7: Jian Luigi Bufan is stepping down. This Bouffan is a buffoon. Enough, Avastanza,
- 30:21Speaker 7: it's time to fire Gennaro Gattuso. The g's in both
- 30:26Speaker 7: Gennaro and Gattuso. Stanford, get him out of here, and
- 30:32Speaker 7: don't get me started on our goalkeeper, jan Luigi don Orama.
- 30:37Speaker 7: I'm done o Rama with him. Fanito. I've got my
- 30:42Speaker 7: top five people in sports who knota Italy exciting Chinque,
- 30:49Speaker 7: mat Milano, Shinkue Quatro, Florence Griffin, Joiner, Flow, Joe Trey,
- 31:01Speaker 7: Jim Rome. You're Jim Rome, Mic Napoli.
- 31:10Speaker 3: In America, the color, Mike Naples.
- 31:15Speaker 7: Barry Bonds. Here comes Como. Leo Zori should hire, says
- 31:22Speaker 7: Fabricas or Francisco Savelli. In other news, Vini Pascutino is
- 31:28Speaker 7: off to a slow start in Kansas City to start
- 31:31Speaker 7: the season in the Miami Heat. Need to play simony
- 31:33Speaker 7: from Techo more so we have today.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So he shares, my.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Man, you heard the double kiss go yes, yes, you
- 31:48Speaker 3: heard double kisses.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 31:50Speaker 8: The commit the commitment, the attention to detail, unbelievable.
- 31:57Speaker 3: He goes, yeah, let's just put this out there so
- 31:58Speaker 3: everybody knows Taylor is Italian.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, before you attack Taylor, he is Italian. And
- 32:05Speaker 1: if you attack him, I'm going to attack you back.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Leave alone. Taylor was worried about it, He actually was.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So I'm gonna call in. They're gonna be upset with this.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I think people would be shocked to learn that Taylor
- 32:16Speaker 1: is very shy.
- 32:18Speaker 3: What was Flo Joe's name.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Florence Griffin Joiner.
- 32:25Speaker 1: In the ballpark. What are we thinking about today here, Taylor,
- 32:29Speaker 1: as you continue to counter program a local radio show,
- 32:33Speaker 1: Mark Ackman show, who does a talk about It Tuesday?
- 32:37Speaker 1: We're thinking about it on a Thursday? What are we
- 32:39Speaker 1: thinking about today?
- 32:40Speaker 7: Well, first we need the imaging.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Okay, you know that segment talk about a Tuesday on
- 32:46Speaker 2: Hawkman Crowder in Solero. This is like that, but bigger,
- 32:50Speaker 2: bigger and better, better, better, and forty eight hours later,
- 32:55Speaker 2: this is think about It Thursday of radio.
- 33:00Speaker 7: I means so, during this off time between March madness,
- 33:05Speaker 7: I've been watching old movies for the first time, Gojo.
- 33:09Speaker 7: This week I watched My Cousin Vinnie and Field of
- 33:11Speaker 7: Dreams for the first time. Knocked both those movies off
- 33:15Speaker 7: off my list of movie recommendations people have been sending me.
- 33:18Speaker 3: I take that bag, Taylor, You're not Italian.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Great movie.
- 33:21Speaker 3: How have you not seen My Cousin Vinnie until now?
- 33:24Speaker 12: That's a pretty tough one.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Come on, yea, but he saw it, so yes, it
- 33:28Speaker 3: holds up right, Tailer, It's still good.
- 33:30Speaker 7: It's a great movie. I could see what the hype is.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It was right, Yeah, it was.
- 33:38Speaker 9: Four hype.
- 33:42Speaker 7: So my question for today's Think About It Thursday, guys,
- 33:46Speaker 7: what is the most rewatchable movie in your opinion?
- 33:49Speaker 3: That was it segment over my cousin Vinnie. No, No,
- 33:53Speaker 3: I'm kidding.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I have a question.
- 33:55Speaker 7: I have I have an easy.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Question follow up. I mean, go ahead, are.
- 33:59Speaker 7: We tall fucking if it's on, I'll watch it? Or
- 34:02Speaker 7: am I putting it on? Because the two different things.
- 34:05Speaker 7: You're actively seeking out putting it on, So.
- 34:07Speaker 1: You're going out of your way to fire up this movie.
- 34:10Speaker 1: It's not Hey, I just you know, I landed on
- 34:12Speaker 1: T and T and here's Redemption.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Right, But you're not gonna sit there and watch it
- 34:17Speaker 3: in the question closely, you're just putting it on in
- 34:19Speaker 3: maybe two screens, maybe you know, do a couple of chores, right,
- 34:22Speaker 3: You're not sitting there watching it like you're watching it
- 34:24Speaker 3: for the first time.
- 34:25Speaker 8: Well, and another follow up question to mike Ye's point,
- 34:29Speaker 8: because this was what I first thought of when you
- 34:32Speaker 8: guys mentioned this was are we putting airplane watches in
- 34:37Speaker 8: a different category? You get on the plane, it's one
- 34:40Speaker 8: of the movies loaded up that you can do there.
- 34:42Speaker 8: Because I think for the airplane I have won very
- 34:45Speaker 8: specific answer.
- 34:46Speaker 12: Wow, it's Avengers.
- 34:47Speaker 8: It's Avengers Endgame, Okay, anytime Avengers Endgame. Because it's long
- 34:51Speaker 8: enough to take up most of the flight, it's got
- 34:53Speaker 8: the great action. I think it's the better of the
- 34:55Speaker 8: two Avengers movies, and that that portion of the franchise,
- 34:59Speaker 8: it's the best the Marvel superhero universe, like all that
- 35:02Speaker 8: stuff in there. Remember being in theaters when I first
- 35:05Speaker 8: saw it, tears streaming down my face.
- 35:07Speaker 12: It was a great movie. So that for me is
- 35:09Speaker 12: that particular setting.
- 35:10Speaker 8: I don't know if it would be the same answer
- 35:13Speaker 8: just in gen pop here at home.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Right this you have to go out of your way.
- 35:16Speaker 1: It just doesn't you know, it doesn't fall in your lap.
- 35:18Speaker 1: You don't sit in a plane seat, and then the
- 35:20Speaker 1: movie is just playing for you. You have to bring
- 35:21Speaker 1: your own you have to bring your computer. You have
- 35:25Speaker 1: to you know, you know, log onto one of your accounts.
- 35:27Speaker 1: You have to search the movie. You have to seek
- 35:29Speaker 1: the movie and then watch the movie. Goja.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Do you tell people regularly that you cried an Avengers Endgame?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Hmmm?
- 35:35Speaker 12: Uh yeah, no, I cry a lot, so people are
- 35:37Speaker 12: going to hear about it.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, Well, that's fine.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I just didn't know if that's the specific movies because
- 35:42Speaker 3: I cried like a baby like Hamnett. But Avengers Endgame, No.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I gotta tell you never know when the tears are
- 35:47Speaker 1: gonna come out. I mean, you just don't know.
- 35:49Speaker 8: Right at altitude it's different. I watched Incanto, the Pixar
- 35:53Speaker 8: movie at alta.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Yeah, totally different movie.
- 35:56Speaker 8: Yes, God, I cried so hard. The woman in the
- 36:00Speaker 8: next to me tap me on the shoulder and she's like,
- 36:02Speaker 8: are you good? Like she thought I launched a relative
- 36:04Speaker 8: and I'm like, I mean they did, yes, I'm rest
- 36:09Speaker 8: in power queen.
- 36:12Speaker 1: All right, So who's spoilers? All right? Who's gonna kick
- 36:15Speaker 1: it off?
- 36:15Speaker 11: Here?
- 36:15Speaker 1: Mike? Yeah, you want to go first? A movie that
- 36:19Speaker 1: you want to watch over and over again, but you
- 36:21Speaker 1: have to go out of your way. Does it just
- 36:22Speaker 1: fall on your lap here? Okay? Yeah?
- 36:24Speaker 12: So shawshak Redemption is the easy answer.
- 36:26Speaker 1: If it's on, I'm watching it.
- 36:28Speaker 8: But if I'm actively seeking it out, my answer Tombstone.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Oh, that's such a great movie.
- 36:33Speaker 7: That is such a would never see you never even
- 36:36Speaker 7: heard of it?
- 36:37Speaker 1: Hotel or get on it, I mean very wel yes.
- 36:39Speaker 7: And watch it on my list, I said, yeah, welcome.
- 36:42Speaker 1: The only time Val Kilmer has been that good was
- 36:44Speaker 1: A Top Gut. I mean, that's the only other movie
- 36:46Speaker 1: I could think of, ye Yes, or heat.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Maybe she was in one of those silly comedies where
- 36:51Speaker 3: it was kind of like airplane ish, I just forget
- 36:53Speaker 3: the name of it. It was very good in that.
- 36:55Speaker 1: All right, Uh, let's go to Bardot Ricardo. Bardot Ricardo,
- 36:59Speaker 1: you got one. But I do have a follow up question.
- 37:01Speaker 7: Oh Jesus, I'm sorry.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Is that what this feels like?
- 37:04Speaker 7: Are you watching these movies by yourself or with somebody else?
- 37:07Speaker 1: That's a good question, actually, Taylor.
- 37:11Speaker 7: Ricardo, just just pick either one.
- 37:14Speaker 1: You're the commissioner of the game. I mean it's a
- 37:16Speaker 1: fair question. I mean the secret, wasn't that? All right?
- 37:19Speaker 7: Welcome to my blind rankings.
- 37:20Speaker 12: Hell, Taylor, you're watching.
- 37:21Speaker 7: It by yourself and your apartment set at sixty nine degrees. Congratulations.
- 37:26Speaker 7: All right, then my answer is good fellas.
- 37:29Speaker 1: All right, he's going good good fellas. Let's go to
- 37:32Speaker 1: what iowa? Sam? I was, Sam, you have one for us?
- 37:34Speaker 5: I do I came from First of all, though, is
- 37:36Speaker 5: he like a hamnet?
- 37:38Speaker 1: Is?
- 37:38Speaker 5: Like everyone told me?
- 37:39Speaker 13: If you watch that movie, you will cry, even if
- 37:40Speaker 13: you're the most cold hearted person like that. If you
- 37:42Speaker 13: cried at Hamnet, that's like, you know, that's what it's expected.
- 37:45Speaker 5: But let's go.
- 37:47Speaker 13: So I came at this as the I'm flipping through
- 37:50Speaker 13: the channels kind of movie. But I will seek out
- 37:53Speaker 13: this movie. I will watch it on plane and I
- 37:55Speaker 13: will watch it in passing. Catch me if you can.
- 37:57Speaker 13: I think is a great hu That's a good because
- 38:00Speaker 13: it's like three hours long, it takes place in different countries.
- 38:03Speaker 13: You kind of know where you are in the story
- 38:05Speaker 13: when wherever you turn it on, you're like, okay, this
- 38:07Speaker 13: is where young Leo Tom Hanks. Great story based loosely
- 38:11Speaker 13: on a true story, but there's a lot of fibbing
- 38:13Speaker 13: in it. But it's still a great film.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Very entertaining.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Catch me if you can go?
- 38:16Speaker 1: All right, thank you, I was say, I'm executive producer, Jason.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Do you have a nominee for us?
- 38:21Speaker 15: I have to go with the old standard Caddy shack.
- 38:25Speaker 15: And if you disagree with this, that tells me you're
- 38:27Speaker 15: not Generation X or you have no sense of humor.
- 38:31Speaker 15: Caddy Shack is my submission for the Deck.
- 38:33Speaker 1: All right, before we get to Gojo and is he here?
- 38:36Speaker 1: Update Anchor Dan, you have one for us? I'm like Taylor.
- 38:39Speaker 1: I don't see a lot of movies on the show.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Too many yes.
- 38:44Speaker 3: People, I'm so close to him, he never gets it.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I go to Ezzy last every single time. Go ahead,
- 38:50Speaker 1: Update anchor Dan.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I said, I'm like Taylor.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I don't see a lot of movies. Right, so I'm
- 38:55Speaker 1: watch sports. Yes, m okay, so you don't have one? No?
- 39:02Speaker 3: Wow, Dan never been more disappointed so far.
- 39:05Speaker 7: I haven't seen Tombstone catch me if you can, or
- 39:08Speaker 7: Caddy Shack.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I've seen Caddy Shack and one for three there set
- 39:11Speaker 1: with all three of you.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Well, then Caddy Shack is also Dan's answer.
- 39:14Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Gojo. Gojo? You have an
- 39:17Speaker 1: answer for us here? Is he's gonna get so mad
- 39:19Speaker 1: at me?
- 39:20Speaker 8: It's it's Caken recency bias too, because I literally just
- 39:24Speaker 8: did this. So I'm going off that I watched the
- 39:27Speaker 8: entire trilogy. But if you said I can only pick
- 39:29Speaker 8: one movie to do this, Lord of the Rings, The
- 39:32Speaker 8: Two Towers, if I've got a night home by myself,
- 39:35Speaker 8: I can spread out do like the four hour director's
- 39:38Speaker 8: cut extended edition and just really bask in the glow
- 39:41Speaker 8: of what was until the Game of Thrones Battle of
- 39:44Speaker 8: the Bastards the largest on screen fight scene in cinema
- 39:47Speaker 8: history in the Battle of Home Steep.
- 39:49Speaker 3: I didn't need to know you were spread out.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'd like to make Yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 7: So I've told this to Smeti before one time. For
- 39:57Speaker 7: my birthday, I believe in two thousand and one, I
- 40:00Speaker 7: I asked everybody in my family to get me something
- 40:02Speaker 7: Yankee related, and I gave one of my cousins the
- 40:05Speaker 7: assignment buy me this Yankee DVD. He went rogue, went
- 40:09Speaker 7: off the list, got me Lord of the Rings, and
- 40:11Speaker 7: I swore from that day on I would never watch
- 40:14Speaker 7: Lord of the Rings.
- 40:16Speaker 12: Wow.
- 40:18Speaker 8: I mean it sounds like it's got great company with
- 40:19Speaker 8: all the stuff you haven't seen.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Man, Yes, Taylor, do you have a nominee here? It's
- 40:23Speaker 1: gonna be sixty one right, I mean.
- 40:25Speaker 7: No, man, So I'm gonna go back to the future.
- 40:29Speaker 7: I love Back to the future.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Could take you've seen that? Huh?
- 40:32Speaker 7: Yep. I also saw it as a musical in London too, Okay, really, yes,
- 40:37Speaker 7: very underwhelming musical.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard about that.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I mean it was fine as a movie's disappointing. Now
- 40:43Speaker 1: you've got too far.
- 40:44Speaker 12: I mean you didn't go Mama Mia, here we go again?
- 40:47Speaker 12: Every even there?
- 40:48Speaker 1: Gee is he good?
- 40:52Speaker 9: We go?
- 40:53Speaker 3: I've got a whole list, but this list, I'm just
- 40:55Speaker 3: gonna take. My favorite movie all the time is almost famous.
- 40:58Speaker 3: But that's not my answer. I really like watching this
- 41:01Speaker 3: movie over and over over again. We talked about it
- 41:02Speaker 3: my cousin Vinny, but that's not my answer. Mike Golick
- 41:05Speaker 3: Drakojo rather brought up Incanto and I know every word
- 41:09Speaker 3: to the family my big out story. So that made
- 41:10Speaker 3: my list real quick. But my answer devil Wear's product.
- 41:14Speaker 3: It's on all the time. It's so easy to watch it,
- 41:17Speaker 3: so and then it's a.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Great me Or is everyone surprised Gojo didn't pick Rudy?
- 41:22Speaker 1: I mean.
- 41:24Speaker 12: It's a great movie.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Mike, you know me very well. What movie do
- 41:29Speaker 1: you think I would choose if you had to? If
- 41:31Speaker 1: you had to guess, here have.
- 41:33Speaker 8: A I actually am not I would say it's true guts.
- 41:35Speaker 8: I'm actually not sure on this. I don't feel like
- 41:37Speaker 8: I have your movie proclivities down here. I know so
- 41:39Speaker 8: much about you, but this feels like an area that's
- 41:41Speaker 8: been off limits for me, so I'm excited to learn
- 41:43Speaker 8: I have a feely tailor.
- 41:44Speaker 7: No, can we all take guesses?
- 41:45Speaker 1: Can I answer? That's a question?
- 41:46Speaker 3: Is it a sequel?
- 41:49Speaker 7: Ricardo has a guess? Ricardo has a guess?
- 41:52Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, board up, Ricardo Tango and Cash.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Tango and Cash is certainly in the top five.
- 41:56Speaker 7: I also have a guess, All right, go ahead, Rocky three.
- 41:59Speaker 3: That's my guess.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Rocky three.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Second, wowk Rocky one, Rocky four, Mikey now, yes, yes, Roy.
- 42:07Speaker 12: That's the best Rocky. It's Drago.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Oh, by far, it's the best Rocky. Guest. I rank
- 42:12Speaker 1: them this way, Rocky four, Rocky three, Rocky two. In
- 42:15Speaker 1: the original Rocky, ye, I've never happened.
- 42:17Speaker 8: Yes, yes, exact, exact right order. What were we doing
- 42:20Speaker 8: in the first one, trying to act like that is
- 42:22Speaker 8: the best film?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Movie? Setting everything up? That's all. It was a setup.
- 42:24Speaker 1: That's it. That's four overrated right till the end. And
- 42:30Speaker 1: by the way, you can't have a movie called Rocky
- 42:31Speaker 1: and then Rocky loses in the big fight at the end.
- 42:34Speaker 1: That's what happened in the original Rocky. But it was
- 42:35Speaker 1: a setup. Yeah, go ahead, to it.
- 42:37Speaker 7: So I'm here to give my take on my cousin Vinny.
- 42:39Speaker 7: You know, twenty plus years later, Joe Peshi and Marissito
- 42:43Speaker 7: may not that believable of a romantic couple.
- 42:47Speaker 3: She won an oscar? She did?
- 42:49Speaker 1: They both did? I think? Yeah for that movie. Yes,
- 42:53Speaker 1: someone thought it was believable.
- 42:55Speaker 7: Both great actors and great actresses, both great in their roles.
- 43:00Speaker 7: Just when I'm watching it together, I'm like, Marssu Tomay
- 43:03Speaker 7: would never go for this guy who's who's acting as
- 43:06Speaker 7: if he's a thirty five year old when he's very
- 43:08Speaker 7: clearly wearing a wig and it is probably fifty plus
- 43:12Speaker 7: when he's casting it.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Out know what she likes?
- 43:16Speaker 12: Who steals that movie more? The Judge or the Public Defender?
- 43:20Speaker 1: Huh?
- 43:22Speaker 3: The Public Defender? Yeah, has one scene and it's so good.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Do you have your famous dismount for Joe Peshi in
- 43:28Speaker 1: that movie or Tomey?
- 43:30Speaker 7: I mean anything, Joe Peschi, I'll read it there
