  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Dr. Paul Levine, God used him.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Back in 1938 to start the ministry, a Bible tracks incorporated.

  [SPEAKER_01]: He was the beginning, the kindling that God used and God has done a great marvelous work

  [SPEAKER_01]: not only that, but Dr. Paul founded this radio program back in 1957.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Where were you in 1957?

  [SPEAKER_01]: But Dr. Paul was, and he was thundering.

  [SPEAKER_01]: And God used him in a great way on platforms behind pulpits and behind the radio mics all across our nation in an amazing way.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Now Dr. Paul passed away in

  [SPEAKER_01]: 1996, but his preaching still rings so true, and today we're going to listen to a message, a special message he preached at the Bill Rice Ranch many years ago, and the title is this, horses.

  [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm going to ask you to put on your thinking caps to engage your brain to have soft hearts and open ears because the man of God is about to speak to us for just a few moments.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is my last time to talk to you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I got about 10 subjects I'd like to use.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think this is the one for this morning.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So will you please listen carefully and get what God has for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Look at verse 8.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God says to you, I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shall go.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Here, God says, if you let me, I'll show you the right way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'll show you the way you ought to go through your life.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It'll be the best way for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It'll be the way that you'll have the most fun and the most happiness.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shall go.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, I know it's the next phrase.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I will guide thee with my eye.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's the easy way to be guided by somebody's eye.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But if you and I won't let God lead us with His eye, we'll explain that in a minute, then He's got another way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Verse 9, be you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You say, well, I got a horse that's real smart.
• 6:13
  [SPEAKER_00]: I know, but horses in general, there are some things they don't have too much sense about.
• 6:17
  [SPEAKER_00]: For example, some horses don't have any more sense in the runaway.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And some horses don't have sense enough to be completely broken.
• 6:27
  [SPEAKER_00]: And so he says, be not as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Let's say come near unto thee.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know what God is saying young people?
• 6:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: God is saying, I'll guide you through your life.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now do it easy way with my eye.
• 6:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't let me do it easy way, I'll put a bridle on you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And don't be like a horse or a mule, a mule stubborn, and a horse is a self-willed, and he said, don't be like them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But let me guide you with my eyes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is a very important scripture.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Remember this scripture, and now let's pray.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Father, bless thy word, and help these young folks to latch on to these truths right now, and then see the wisdom of giving their lives completely to thee, and allowing thee to guide them,

  [SPEAKER_00]: The future that you have for them to guide you the easy way with your eye and grant Lord that you never had to put a bridle on any of these young people.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I pray in Jesus name Amen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In verse 8, God has a plan for your life.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He says, I'll show you the way you should go.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's perfection.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God's way is best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God's way is perfect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God's way is the best way for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's the way it's going to bring you the most happiness.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then in verse 8, He says, I'll guide you with my eye.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's direction.
• 7:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: And then He says, if you don't let me do it that way, I'll do it the hard way with a bit and bridle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's correction.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're right, those three words done, you got the outline.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Perfection, direction, and correction.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, first of all, perfection, you see, God's will, you know, people is perfect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He says, be not conform to this world, but be a transformer by the renewing of your mind that you may prove.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that means prove by your experience what is a good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, just think, if you missed the will of God, you'll miss God's perfect will for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you missed that, you'll miss the best you could have had in this life.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I would say that every young person would say, at my age, I'm somewhere between 12 and 20.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Boy, I only have one life ahead of me to live.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to get the most right and get out of it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to have the most fun, Lennie.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you can have it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: By getting into God's will, in Acts chapter 22 and verse 10, God said the Paul, said, you go to Damascus and there it will be told you the things that are appointed for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now God has some things appointed for Brother Dick down here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he said, he said, Mernath the College.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I remember the 90 came forward in some meetings at Marshall, time I have a, he and his wife to dedicate their life to the ministry.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God got their attention the easy way with his eye.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And God has a plan for him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And God has a plan for you guys on the fruit rule here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: See, I've got to have a plan for me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know it when I dedicated my life to God.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'd be preaching the Bill Rice for it, but God knew it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God had a plan.

  [SPEAKER_00]: See, God has a plan for every kid here, every one of you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And it's perfect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't miss it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you miss it, you'll have to get along with whatever else there's left for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But, besides, you're going to have God's will.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now listen, God knows what's best for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Not only that, he's able to give you what's best for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And not only that, but because he loves you, he wants to give you the best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now put those three together.

  [SPEAKER_00]: God knows what's best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He can give you the best, and he wants to give you the best.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His wisdom and his love, it's all on your side, young people.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's not a person living, who's sorry they did the will of God, not one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But there's a whole lot of them, sorry they didn't.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All right, no, what about direction?

  [SPEAKER_00]: God says, no, I've got a plan for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he says, I'll guide you with my eye.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, what does that mean?

  [SPEAKER_00]: You say, you mean I can see God's eye up in the sky?

  [SPEAKER_00]: No, what he's talking about is he wants your attention.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, when we preach, I suppose all preachers do this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We look around and I look around.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And when I see,

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've got a chair around here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When I see what I'm going to show you now, then I know that man or that woman or that young person is not listening.

  [SPEAKER_00]: or brother Blake Names preaching or brother Darrell singing your song, and I see somebody sitting like this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They are not giving you their attention or they don't want to listen.
