  Speaker 1: About his word to you, then it makes you that

  Speaker 1: much more sensitive and aware and alert to what God

  Speaker 1: We're talking this week about obeying God and why we

  Speaker 1: should do that. And today we want to go to

  Speaker 1: one of the best loved and best known passages of Scripture,

  Speaker 1: Psalm 23.

  Speaker 1: The Lord is my shepherd.

  Speaker 1: I shall not want that is, I shall not lack.

  Speaker 1: I shall not have need.

  Speaker 1: He makes me lie down in green postures.

  Speaker 1: He leads me beside still waters.

  Speaker 1: He restores my soul.

  Speaker 1: He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his

  Speaker 1: name's sake.

  Speaker 1: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow

  Speaker 1: earth than the life lived in fellowship with God, close

  Speaker 1: No matter what kind of success you might experience in

  Speaker 1: this world, no matter what honours are heaped on you

  Speaker 1: in the secular sphere of life.

  Speaker 1: No matter how much money you have.

  Speaker 1: No matter what pleasures you achieve, none of those things

  Speaker 1: will ever even come close.

  Speaker 1: To the inner peace and the sense of inner satisfaction

  Speaker 1: that you will feel when you are walking with God,

  Speaker 1: when you are moving down the same path as God,

  Speaker 1: when God is leading in your life and you're following Him,

  Speaker 1: you're allowing Him to set the direction of your life,

  Speaker 1: to set your mindset, your values.

  Speaker 1: God's reminding you today that He's waiting to pour out

  Speaker 1: His blessings on your inner life and often on your

  Speaker 1: outer life too.

  Speaker 1: He's waiting for you to choose the pathway of obedience.

  Speaker 1: Because that is also the pathway of blessing.

  Speaker 1: Have you found that pathway yet?
