- 0:00Speaker 1: Why from Midtown Manhattan, Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven to ten wo Honor.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Right live from midtown Manhattan. Why we're like two blocks
- 0:11Speaker 2: from Ken Griffin's house. Right now, we'll talk about Ken Griffin.
- 0:16Speaker 2: We'll talk about Crazy Mom Donnie. We'll get to Stephen Colbert,
- 0:20Speaker 2: we'll get to the Rolling Stones, we'll get to Iran Marco.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Rubio surprised a lot of people yesterday. We'll explain now.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yesterday last night, there were two races, two primaries, Indiana
- 0:35Speaker 2: and Ohio, that were very important to Republicans to Donald Trump.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Won't go through all the it's too boring to go
- 0:43Speaker 2: through all the details. But there were a bunch of
- 0:44Speaker 2: people running in Indiana that Trump didn't like. Some of
- 0:48Speaker 2: them were Republicans that had worked against him. He wanted
- 0:50Speaker 2: to get rid of them, so he supported their opponents.
- 0:53Speaker 2: And in Ohio there were people he was back. There
- 0:55Speaker 2: were a lot of people who was backing in Ohio
- 0:57Speaker 2: and Indiana. Yesterday last night, they all every single one
- 1:03Speaker 2: won by landslides. Now you know whenever a Republican candidate loses.
- 1:08Speaker 2: There was that little tiny state Senate race in Palm Beach.
- 1:12Speaker 2: The Republican lost. Front page news, Maga is over, trumps
- 1:16Speaker 2: coattails are gone, and there was another race somewhere, the
- 1:19Speaker 2: little race somewhere where the Trump back candidate didn't win.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Front page news. Lead's story on the nightly news whole
- 1:28Speaker 2: first ten minutes of the hour on MSNBC. How obviously
- 1:32Speaker 2: the magic of Trump is well. Yesterday was stunning. How
- 1:37Speaker 2: many Trump backed candidates surprisingly won, and one on one
- 1:41Speaker 2: by fifty percent, staggering. You'll hear no mention of it
- 1:46Speaker 2: on the news later. It won't be on the front
- 1:49Speaker 2: page of the New York Time, it won't be anywhere.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Let just pretend they didn't see it. So Marco Rubio
- 1:56Speaker 2: surprised a lot of people yesterday. Now, of course, he's
- 1:58Speaker 2: always been thought of as a very smart, articulate sort
- 2:01Speaker 2: of a guy, knowledgeable guy. Tauk of him as a
- 2:05Speaker 2: possible twenty twenty eight candidate. Of course, they talk about
- 2:08Speaker 2: Jay d Vance and Rubio. So Caroline Levitt, the White
- 2:11Speaker 2: House Press secretary, is out on maternity leave. She left,
- 2:15Speaker 2: so Rubio did the daily briefing with the press. Marco
- 2:19Speaker 2: Rubio did the daily briefing and stunned everybody they knew
- 2:25Speaker 2: he was a smart, articulate guy. But they said, well,
- 2:27Speaker 2: maybe he doesn't know how to handle the press conference.
- 2:30Speaker 2: And you know, these reporters can be pretty brutal. He
- 2:33Speaker 2: dazzled them, absolutely dazzled them. He was so knowledgeable, he
- 2:38Speaker 2: was charming, he was authoritative. He handled the press brilliantly.
- 2:44Speaker 2: He did some of it in Spanish, some of it
- 2:46Speaker 2: a Italians, and most of it in English. He just
- 2:49Speaker 2: wowed everybody. They couldn't believe it. His stock went way
- 2:53Speaker 2: up yesterday. Whatever they asked him. Straight of horror moves.
- 2:56Speaker 3: There is no international law that allows you to say
- 2:58Speaker 3: I'm going to put minds in an internet national body
- 3:00Speaker 3: of water and I'm going to blow up ships that
- 3:02Speaker 3: don't listen to us and try to go through. That's
- 3:04Speaker 3: what Iran is doing. This is a criminal act and
- 3:07Speaker 3: someone needs to do something about it. Something needs to
- 3:10Speaker 3: be done. It's completely illegal, completely illegitimate, and completely unaccepted.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, no, people learned a lot. You should go go
- 3:15Speaker 2: online and watch the whole thing. You learn a lot
- 3:17Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 3:18Speaker 3: But Iran must accept the reality of the situation and
- 3:21Speaker 3: come to the negotiation table and accept terms that are
- 3:24Speaker 3: good for them but ultimately good for the world.
- 3:25Speaker 2: The diplomatic path.
- 3:26Speaker 3: If there's a real diplomatic path, I'm not know what's
- 3:29Speaker 3: going to be one, but if there's a real diplomatic path,
- 3:30Speaker 3: then we continue to explore it. Steve and Jarreed are
- 3:33Speaker 3: working on that very hard. If there is one there,
- 3:35Speaker 3: it could be one that leads them to reconstruction, to prosperity,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and to stability.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah. Now Democrats with yelling scream, well, obviously we're in
- 3:43Speaker 2: a stalemate. Yeah, it's the greatest stalemate in history for us.
- 3:47Speaker 2: We got the straight clothes, which means nobody can get
- 3:51Speaker 2: any oil from Iran. We don't need it, we don't
- 3:54Speaker 2: buy it, and then have to start buying oil from US,
- 3:56Speaker 2: which is great. We're the biggest supplier in the world.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Now it also means with the straight close, the entire
- 4:02Speaker 2: Iranian economy is shut down. They have zero revenue. This
- 4:06Speaker 2: has been going on for weeks, two months of zero revenue.
- 4:10Speaker 2: They're about to run out of cash. So it's a
- 4:13Speaker 2: great steal. Mate. Now, what about the War Powers Act?
- 4:17Speaker 3: The War Powers Act is unconstitutional. Now, this is not
- 4:20Speaker 3: the position of me, not the position of the President
- 4:22Speaker 3: United States. Now, this is the position of every single
- 4:25Speaker 3: president that has occupied this position since the day that
- 4:28Speaker 3: law passed. It's completely unconstitutional.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Yeah, now, of course, you know the Democrats always famous
- 4:34Speaker 2: for that hypocrisy and yelling at Trump you can't continue.
- 4:38Speaker 2: This is a violation of the war power. Is that. Well,
- 4:40Speaker 2: every single president did the same exact thing. Obama and Libya,
- 4:45Speaker 2: you can go down the whole list, Clinton and Bosnia, Bush,
- 4:49Speaker 2: everybody's done the same exact thing. You don't need to worry.
- 4:52Speaker 2: But they'll say this is different. This is two months.
- 4:56Speaker 2: This is an endless war. It's two months. Remember that
- 4:58Speaker 2: Obama war in Libya that was seven months without any
- 5:01Speaker 2: War Powers Act seven months. Rubio, you know, he's Cube,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and he talked about Cuban.
- 5:07Speaker 3: There's no oil blockade on Cuba per se. Here's what's
- 5:09Speaker 3: happening with Cube, okay. Qba used to get free oil
- 5:11Speaker 3: from Venezuela. Used to give him a bunch.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Of free oil.
- 5:14Speaker 3: They would take like sixty percent of that oil and
- 5:16Speaker 3: resell it for cash. It wouldn't even go to benefit
- 5:18Speaker 3: the people. So the only blockade that's happened is the
- 5:21Speaker 3: Cubans have decided, I mean the Venezuelans have decided we're
- 5:23Speaker 3: not giving you free oil anymore, and you can only
- 5:25Speaker 3: imagine nowadays the wail prices are. No one's giving away
- 5:28Speaker 3: free oil, much less to a failed regime.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so he was great. He really, really really impressed
- 5:34Speaker 2: people yesterday. So this is one of the most fascinating stories. Mom,
- 5:42Speaker 2: Donnie gets himself elected. Now. He's a great campaigner, he's
- 5:46Speaker 2: a great talker. He was, remember he was at one percent.
- 5:51Speaker 2: He got really lucky, really lucky. The candidates in that
- 5:56Speaker 2: Democratic primary, some that might have beaten him, but he
- 6:00Speaker 2: got really lucky. Andrew Cuomo old death of a salesman.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Andrew Cuomo jumps into the primary, a guy who could
- 6:07Speaker 2: never win a Democratic primary ever again, could never get
- 6:11Speaker 2: elected in New York again. He killed too many people,
- 6:14Speaker 2: too much blood in his hands. He killed all those
- 6:17Speaker 2: thousands and thousands in the nursing homes, and then he
- 6:20Speaker 2: killed many more thousands with his no bail, no jail,
- 6:23Speaker 2: let the criminals back out, his closing the prisons, letting
- 6:26Speaker 2: the prisoners out. He changed the parole boards. That was
- 6:29Speaker 2: all left wing wackos. They let everybody out, including forty
- 6:33Speaker 2: three cop killers. So so many people died as a
- 6:37Speaker 2: result him. Not to mention the other bad policies. He
- 6:39Speaker 2: closed Indian Point, which rose everybody's electric bill rose twenty
- 6:44Speaker 2: five percent as a result. He killed fracking, which made
- 6:48Speaker 2: your electric bill go up another fifty percent. I mean,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it was just ridiculous. So he was never going to
- 6:52Speaker 2: get elected. So that's was such a break from Mom Donnie.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So that's how he won the primary. Cuomo just bill
- 7:00Speaker 2: all the other candidates and Cuomo couldn't win. And then
- 7:03Speaker 2: in both primary debates, Mom Donnie just slapped them around.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Cuomo's the world's worst debater, and that's how Mom Donnie
- 7:11Speaker 2: got the nomination. As they say, once you got the
- 7:13Speaker 2: Democratic nomination, you're probably gonna win. So he gets he's
- 7:17Speaker 2: a brilliant campaigner, brilliant debater talker, but a manager. No,
- 7:23Speaker 2: he's never run anything. He's never had a job, he's
- 7:25Speaker 2: never been in business. He was just like a crazy
- 7:28Speaker 2: left wing radical college student. So he does not have
- 7:31Speaker 2: run anything. So he's attacking the billionaires. He wants to
- 7:37Speaker 2: tax the rich. He wants to close Park Avenue and
- 7:39Speaker 2: make it a pedestrian a park, a mall, I mean,
- 7:43Speaker 2: just crazy stuff, free supermarkets. He have no idea how
- 7:46Speaker 2: to open a supermarket. If you wanted to open a supermarket.
- 7:49Speaker 2: It cost two million dollars according to every supermarket. He
- 7:53Speaker 2: wants to spend thirty for a tiny one, a tiny,
- 7:55Speaker 2: little crappy one thirty million. It'll never open though, you'll
- 7:58Speaker 2: never see it. Free buses the camp can't be done.
- 8:02Speaker 2: He has no power to do that. Free rent can't
- 8:04Speaker 2: do it. So then he declares war with the He
- 8:08Speaker 2: comes up with this Pieta tear tax, which, by the way,
- 8:11Speaker 2: was created by Andrew Cuomo. I don't know if he
- 8:15Speaker 2: created it, but he was the first one pushing it
- 8:17Speaker 2: wherever he found it. He was the one that started
- 8:19Speaker 2: pushing this Pieta tear attacks when he was governor. So
- 8:22Speaker 2: he decides to make a video. This is all he does.
- 8:25Speaker 2: He can't he's not a manager. He doesn't actually do
- 8:27Speaker 2: anything as far as running the city. He's an instagrammer,
- 8:31Speaker 2: a TikToker. He's the TikTok mayor. So he makes all
- 8:34Speaker 2: these videos. He made a video. He thought this is
- 8:37Speaker 2: gonna go viral. Well he was right, it did go viral.
- 8:40Speaker 2: He goes right outside, right over there, that's where Ken
- 8:43Speaker 2: Griffin lives, two twenty Central Park South. He went outside
- 8:45Speaker 2: his building, did a video identifying the building, saying this
- 8:50Speaker 2: is where Ken Griffin lives, pointing at it and bad
- 8:55Speaker 2: mouthing Ken Griffin, who's one of our biggest tax payers.
- 8:58Speaker 2: We've got a lot of wealthy people New York, but
- 9:02Speaker 2: it's just a handful of billionaires and they pay most
- 9:05Speaker 2: of the tax. Now, the problem is Democrats, especially Mamdani,
- 9:10Speaker 2: but all Democrats don't believe in science. They never follow
- 9:13Speaker 2: the science. There's a science to running an economy. We
- 9:17Speaker 2: know what works, we know what doesn't. Scientifically, we've shown
- 9:20Speaker 2: it socialism, for instance, socialism. We tested that ten thousand times,
- 9:28Speaker 2: ten thousand times over and over. We've tested social Every
- 9:34Speaker 2: experiment with it shows it's a failure one hundred percent
- 9:37Speaker 2: of the time. But here's this guy pushing socialism. They
- 9:41Speaker 2: just don't follow the science. They don't care. Also, when
- 9:43Speaker 2: you have an economy and you want tax revenue, let's
- 9:46Speaker 2: say that's your big goal, tax revenue. The people that
- 9:50Speaker 2: give it to you are Ken Griffins. You need a
- 9:52Speaker 2: bunch of Ken Griffins to get a lot of tax revenue.
- 9:54Speaker 2: If any of them move, you lose a lot of
- 9:56Speaker 2: tax revenue. Ken Griffin pays billions and billions and billions
- 10:00Speaker 2: every year in tax revenue in New York. If he moved,
- 10:04Speaker 2: he could lose five billion dollars right there in revenue
- 10:06Speaker 2: every year. Not just personally, but he has a lot
- 10:09Speaker 2: of business here, and he's about to He owns a
- 10:12Speaker 2: lot of businesses here. He was about to build a
- 10:15Speaker 2: new skyscraper fifty second in Park. It was it was
- 10:20Speaker 2: going to spend six billion to build this skyscraper, six billion.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It would take six thousand construction jobs about five years.
- 10:31Speaker 2: There would be six thousand construction jobs to build it,
- 10:34Speaker 2: and then when the building opens, it would employ fifteen
- 10:37Speaker 2: thousand people, fifteen thousand permanent jobs. It would bring in
- 10:40Speaker 2: billions in revenue. The guy already pays billions and billions
- 10:44Speaker 2: every year to New York and tax revenue. He also
- 10:48Speaker 2: just personally gives away about seven hundred million every year
- 10:51Speaker 2: for charity, just here in New York. This is the
- 10:54Speaker 2: kind of guy. If you're the mayor or the governor
- 10:57Speaker 2: and the guy announces this six billion dollar project, he's
- 10:59Speaker 2: going to crew fifteen thousand chaps, You're supposed to call
- 11:03Speaker 2: the guy say would you like to meet Let you
- 11:05Speaker 2: meet with him? What can we do to help. How
- 11:07Speaker 2: can I help you get this project? That's what you're
- 11:09Speaker 2: supposed to do. The mayor targets him. Ken Griffin now responding,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and he's right. He said, what Mom Donnie did with
- 11:19Speaker 2: that video showing my house, it was creepy, weird. Targeting
- 11:22Speaker 2: an individual.
- 11:23Speaker 4: They see of United Healthcare was killed just a few
- 11:25Speaker 4: blocks from my house. And anything that creates like an
- 11:30Speaker 4: agitation in the extremist on either side of the aisle
- 11:34Speaker 4: is a frightening dynamic.
- 11:35Speaker 5: I mean, you know, if we look at what happened
- 11:37Speaker 5: in DC.
- 11:42Speaker 2: He's targeting this guy personally. It's unbelievable.
- 11:44Speaker 5: So what are you gonna do about Mom Donnie?
- 11:48Speaker 4: So, first of all, for New York public schools, I'm
- 11:51Speaker 4: happy to buy a copy of Animal Farm for every
- 11:54Speaker 4: ninth grader, Yeah, I said, And Mayor Mundahmi, you just
- 12:02Speaker 4: shoot me an email, give me the delivery address.
- 12:05Speaker 5: I'll get them shipped right away.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah. So he's speaking at this Aspen conference. Now, Chicago
- 12:12Speaker 2: had a crazy socialist kookie mayor who gave him a
- 12:15Speaker 2: hard time. So, and he had massive business, commercial interests
- 12:20Speaker 2: stuff in Chicago. He moved it. That's where he lived.
- 12:24Speaker 2: He lived in Chicago so after the Mayor did all
- 12:26Speaker 2: this stuff to him, he just packed up and left
- 12:28Speaker 2: and he took all his commercial business with him, moved
- 12:30Speaker 2: it to Miami, where he has enormous stuff in Miami,
- 12:34Speaker 2: created a lot of jobs, pays a lot of money
- 12:37Speaker 2: in Miami property tax and commercial tax. So he could
- 12:41Speaker 2: close up all this New York stuff and take it
- 12:43Speaker 2: to Miami. And he was asked about that.
- 12:46Speaker 4: And now what the Mayor of New York has made
- 12:47Speaker 4: clear to my partners, and principally.
- 12:49Speaker 5: My New York partners, my New York partners, is.
- 12:53Speaker 4: That we need to double down on our bet in
- 12:55Speaker 4: Miami because we want to be in a state that
- 12:58Speaker 4: embraces that braces business, that embraces education, that embraces personal
- 13:06Speaker 4: freedom and liberty, and that embraces people having an opportunity
- 13:10Speaker 4: to live the American dream.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Now again, you got two problems. One, as they say,
- 13:14Speaker 2: democrats never follow the science when it comes to an economy,
- 13:18Speaker 2: when it comes to crime, they just don't follow the science.
- 13:23Speaker 2: And Mam Donnie, besides all that, has no experience none
- 13:28Speaker 2: as doesn't know anything about managing. He's never even had
- 13:31Speaker 2: a job, never been in business, never run anything. So
- 13:34Speaker 2: he should be settling this right away, but he's holding
- 13:38Speaker 2: his ground. This crazy little mom. Donnie Ken Griffin probably
- 13:42Speaker 2: would be speaking out more and more about this.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Turn me into a political puppet was just in poor taste,
- 13:49Speaker 4: really poor taste. The tax itself is a tax that
- 13:51Speaker 4: discriminates against a narrow group of people. Is also disconcerting.
- 13:56Speaker 4: You know, our company is thinking about making a six
- 13:58Speaker 4: billion dollar investment in New York City three fifty Park, right,
- 14:01Speaker 4: are they going to now have a special tax rate
- 14:05Speaker 4: for those that own office buildings who live out of state?
- 14:08Speaker 5: Like, where's this stop in New York.
- 14:12Speaker 2: It's the dumbest thing ever. It's just democrats. They don't
- 14:14Speaker 2: follow the science. Now, let's say you had a restaurant.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Now you got your regular customers, you appreciate their regular customers.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Then you got your super regular customers. I mean guys
- 14:24Speaker 2: that come in all the time every week and they
- 14:28Speaker 2: order all kinds of expensive wines and their checks are
- 14:30Speaker 2: eight thousand and six thousand. Hedge fund guys. They come
- 14:34Speaker 2: in all the time. You should be fawning all over them.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You wouldn't target them, you wouldn't put special taxes on them.
- 14:41Speaker 2: You would never want to drive them out of your restaurant.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It'd be insane, it'd be the stupidest thing you can do.
- 14:46Speaker 2: And if your business is tax revenue, this guy's one
- 14:49Speaker 2: of your top five customers. Probably you should be. You know,
- 14:55Speaker 2: other mayors not only would meet with them, say here's
- 14:58Speaker 2: my cell number. If you ever have a pro if
- 15:00Speaker 2: you need anything, call me. That's the way you're supposed
- 15:02Speaker 2: to treat guys like that, because all they'll do is
- 15:05Speaker 2: pump money and create jobs. Pump money into the city
- 15:08Speaker 2: and create thousands of jobs. Hey, we'll take some calls.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is
- 15:15Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred Hey. By the way, we just
- 15:17Speaker 2: got the word Ted Turner has passed away. Ted Turner
- 15:21Speaker 2: just died moments ago, the founder, of course of CNN,
- 15:25Speaker 2: And uh, well, we'll talk about him. We'll get to
- 15:27Speaker 2: Ted Turner. He just passed away. We'll get to that
- 15:29Speaker 2: coming up. But we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred
- 15:33Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten. We're listening to.
- 15:36Speaker 6: The mark someone show wr.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:46Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Robert
- 15:49Speaker 2: in Westchester. Robert, how you doing.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Thanks?
- 15:55Speaker 6: Are you there?
- 15:56Speaker 7: Hello?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, go ahead, Rob.
- 16:01Speaker 8: Not happening right, Can you see.
- 16:04Speaker 2: What he calls back here? Your line is cracking up.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing?
- 16:11Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark.
- 16:12Speaker 8: I'm doing very well.
- 16:13Speaker 6: Thank you. Mark.
- 16:14Speaker 9: While waiting on hold, I just saw an alert that
- 16:16Speaker 9: Ted Turner has passed away at age eighty seven.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well we just mentioned that.
- 16:21Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm sorry. Perhaps I didn't hear it because I
- 16:25Speaker 9: was on hold. I was going to address the war
- 16:30Speaker 9: and with Iran. Okay, we've pretty much destroyed the military capabilities,
- 16:35Speaker 9: as everyone knows. What I wanted to ask you is
- 16:38Speaker 9: what's the status in the war between Russia and Ukraine?
- 16:42Speaker 9: Because I know President Velynski was complaining that we are
- 16:47Speaker 9: not sending enough missiles for him to battle Russia.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a good question.
- 16:52Speaker 7: You know.
- 16:52Speaker 2: It's funny, Ukraine, what is this year five of this war?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Year five? You never hear about it anymore? When was
- 16:59Speaker 2: less than anybody They brought up Ukraine. But you know,
- 17:02Speaker 2: we lived in fear all our lives of the Soviet Union,
- 17:06Speaker 2: their military might and then Russia superpower. Russia with the
- 17:10Speaker 2: military the superpower. Now we watch them go to war
- 17:13Speaker 2: with this little country and they can't get anything done.
- 17:16Speaker 2: They can't fight, it's not much of an army, they
- 17:20Speaker 2: can't do much of anything. They don't have any kind
- 17:22Speaker 2: of sophisticated weapons. They don't even have night vision. And
- 17:26Speaker 2: little tiny Ukraine has not only held them off for
- 17:29Speaker 2: five years. But if you really analyze this war, you'd
- 17:32Speaker 2: have to give the slight edge to Ukraine. They're doing
- 17:35Speaker 2: a little better than Russia. Is Russia get nothing done,
- 17:39Speaker 2: not taking much territory. They cannot fight, they have lost
- 17:43Speaker 2: hundreds of thousands of soldiers. A Ukraine getting better and
- 17:47Speaker 2: better every year at this longer range missiles, longer range drones.
- 17:52Speaker 2: You know, there was a parade that they wanted to
- 17:54Speaker 2: do in Russia. They can't do it now because they're
- 17:56Speaker 2: afraid Ukraine will blow up the parade. They're actually in
- 17:58Speaker 2: fear of Ukraine. Now, amazing story of how much we
- 18:02Speaker 2: over estimated the Russian military. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 18:07Speaker 2: how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 18:10Speaker 10: One of the best things about that Rubio press conference
- 18:13Speaker 10: was that he was really busting their chops, which is
- 18:16Speaker 10: a very very enjoyable. And to that point, there was
- 18:20Speaker 10: another ceremony yesterday that president helped with the President's the
- 18:24Speaker 10: Presidential Fitness Test pee back and he had a great
- 18:27Speaker 10: away yet Gary Player there and Buysondy Chambeau and Noah
- 18:31Speaker 10: Syndergard and a couple of people from the cabinet and
- 18:34Speaker 10: he opens it up a bunch of kids, of course,
- 18:36Speaker 10: and he opens it up. The questions and it's all
- 18:38Speaker 10: about it ran and it's like the press is so
- 18:40Speaker 10: tone dewf This guy does great things all day long.
- 18:43Speaker 10: He has the ceremonies and they never you never hear
- 18:46Speaker 10: about it unless you happen to be on some weird
- 18:48Speaker 10: you know, internet page and they have a video linked
- 18:51Speaker 10: to it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very tough to run a democracy, You're right.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Without working media, we don't have any actual news media.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It was a wonderful event. Remember at one point he
- 18:59Speaker 2: took the the kids, these young young kids there were golfers,
- 19:03Speaker 2: and he gave him a putting lesson. It was pretty interesting.
- 19:05Speaker 10: Yep.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it was great, and he.
- 19:07Speaker 10: Was cracking jokes. He goes, oh, I work out tremendously
- 19:11Speaker 10: at least a minute of the day.
- 19:14Speaker 7: He's so self.
- 19:15Speaker 10: Deprecating, and they'd only ended.
- 19:17Speaker 7: The first question.
- 19:19Speaker 11: What about I ran, and.
- 19:20Speaker 10: It's like, come on, just read the room a little bit,
- 19:23Speaker 10: you know.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, very good point. Thanks for calling Mike. Yeah, so
- 19:27Speaker 2: if you're a CNN, MSNBC watcher, New York Times reader,
- 19:32Speaker 2: you're not getting the news. You have no idea what
- 19:33Speaker 2: happened yesterday. It was pretty interesting and he was great
- 19:36Speaker 2: with those kids, and it was a great putting lesson. Hey,
- 19:39Speaker 2: he's a great I played golf with him dozens of times.
- 19:42Speaker 2: He's a phenomenal golfer. You know, even at his age,
- 19:45Speaker 2: you'll lose some distance, you don't have as much turn
- 19:47Speaker 2: in your swing, but he can still win. Let's go
- 19:51Speaker 2: to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach, Rich. How you doing, Hey,
- 19:55Speaker 2: Thanks Mark.
- 19:56Speaker 7: Two quick points. Number one, they didn't try to screw
- 19:58Speaker 7: Steve Hilton too bad at the bait left and I
- 20:00Speaker 7: watched them a bit and they were actually pretty fat
- 20:03Speaker 7: to him and the other Republican there as well. And
- 20:06Speaker 7: I saw Desantas signed a new redistrict ring back for
- 20:10Speaker 7: map for Florida, and yesterday's South Carolina announced they're going
- 20:13Speaker 7: to redistrict the state of South Carolina. She reads that race,
- 20:16Speaker 7: and they're racist and Crook Cliburn will probably out of
- 20:19Speaker 7: a job here in South Carolina. We after sixty five years.
- 20:22Speaker 10: In the job.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, anybody's in Congress. The sixty five years should be
- 20:25Speaker 2: out of a job, anybody. But it's a good point, Rich, Yeah, Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 2: Steve Hilton, he's a great debate, very tough to be.
- 20:32Speaker 2: You know, if DeSantis pulls this off, Republicans pick up
- 20:36Speaker 2: four extra seats in Florida. They'll do this in a
- 20:40Speaker 2: few other states, so that really has a big effect
- 20:43Speaker 2: on the midterms. Let's go to Tom in Connecticut. Tom,
- 20:46Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 20:48Speaker 7: There?
- 20:48Speaker 8: You going?
- 20:48Speaker 2: Mark good?
- 20:49Speaker 8: I unfortunately live in the communist state of Connecticut.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not all communists. There's nice parts of Connecticut.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Where do you live in Connecticut? That's not one of them.
- 21:02Speaker 8: Okay, So yesterday I heard that Jevalo Lamont signed the
- 21:06Speaker 8: bill that j ICE agents can't wear me. Yeah, how
- 21:11Speaker 8: can a state? And ICE is a federal agency, is
- 21:13Speaker 8: it not?
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't know if that'll hold up anywhere. That's
- 21:18Speaker 2: that's a sad story. It's a good point, Tom, Thanks
- 21:20Speaker 2: for calling. Yet, Ned Lamont was a pretty good governor
- 21:23Speaker 2: because he had been a businessman, he'd been in the
- 21:25Speaker 2: business world. He was realistic, he was pragmatic. It was
- 21:29Speaker 2: a pretty good governor. But now you know, with all
- 21:30Speaker 2: this crazy Democratic Party going totally crazy, he has to
- 21:35Speaker 2: pretend he's a left wing kook like everybody else. He's
- 21:38Speaker 2: up for election this year and it'll be the Republican
- 21:41Speaker 2: candidate will be Ryan Fozzio. Most likely. He's got like
- 21:44Speaker 2: a ninety eight percent chance of winning that primary. So
- 21:47Speaker 2: he's going very left just to just to win over
- 21:51Speaker 2: that crowd. Hey, when we come back, Howie Carr will
- 21:53Speaker 2: be with us, one of the great talk show hosts
- 21:55Speaker 2: in America. We'll talk to him next on seven to
- 21:58Speaker 2: ten WR The Mark.
- 22:00Speaker 5: Sim Own Show one w.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Hey, Howie Carr is one of the great taught show
- 22:09Speaker 2: hosts in the world and best selling author too. You
- 22:12Speaker 2: should get his latest book, Mass Corruption. You can get everything.
- 22:15Speaker 2: You can get his podcast, his show, the books. Everything
- 22:18Speaker 2: is at Howiecarshow dot com, Howie Carshow dot com. Howie Carr.
- 22:23Speaker 2: How you doing very good?
- 22:26Speaker 6: Very good?
- 22:27Speaker 11: What do you think of this new this new proposal
- 22:31Speaker 11: which proposal, the Trump proposal or the Trump Deal supposed
- 22:37Speaker 11: that they're going to give them thirty days.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well, uh, you got to give a Ran credit.
- 22:43Speaker 2: They're the best negotiators in the world. They got absolutely
- 22:46Speaker 2: nothing going for them to zero leverage, right, but somehow
- 22:49Speaker 2: they get.
- 22:50Speaker 11: Right, what's going to happen if if we give them
- 22:51Speaker 11: thirty days to negotiate the nuclear deal?
- 22:54Speaker 6: What's going to happen at the end of the thirty days?
- 22:55Speaker 11: Do you think the the American planes are going to
- 22:58Speaker 11: start arriving to take out that you amium?
- 23:00Speaker 6: I don't think so.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, And they're a little crazy.
- 23:04Speaker 6: You know.
- 23:04Speaker 2: You can fight Trump all you want, but at any moment,
- 23:07Speaker 2: a bomb that's is going to land on your head
- 23:08Speaker 2: on your way home one day if you're one of
- 23:10Speaker 2: those negotiators. But I think this is part of the plan.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Just keep the steelmate going because as long as that
- 23:16Speaker 2: straight is closed, their economy is stopped.
- 23:18Speaker 6: That's the deal. That's the deal. I mean, that's that's
- 23:20Speaker 6: where I like about.
- 23:21Speaker 11: The whole deal is you know that the the oil
- 23:24Speaker 11: the oil capacity is almost full. And I guess when
- 23:28Speaker 11: you if you stop the pumping, you you affect geological formations,
- 23:33Speaker 11: which sounds pretty serious.
- 23:35Speaker 6: That's going to take the.
- 23:36Speaker 11: Iranians a lot of time to fix if if that
- 23:39Speaker 11: actually goes down. So, I mean, if you could just
- 23:41Speaker 11: cripple their their their ability to produce oil, that would
- 23:45Speaker 11: that would put all that would put them out of business,
- 23:48Speaker 11: that would put all the proxies out of business.
- 23:50Speaker 6: You know.
- 23:51Speaker 11: Yeah, it's uh, I want to do that, though I
- 23:55Speaker 11: don't want to. I don't want to lift don't lift
- 23:56Speaker 11: the blockade though, mister President Lease No.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I guess the Iranians just counting on the American media
- 24:03Speaker 2: to fight their case for them in America.
- 24:06Speaker 6: And the Democrats. But I repeat.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Myself, Hey, we just got word that Ted Turner has
- 24:12Speaker 2: passed away. Ted Turner died at eighty seven. He's the
- 24:17Speaker 2: guy that created cable news. What do you think he
- 24:20Speaker 2: thinks when he watches what he created CNN, MS Racing.
- 24:26Speaker 11: Well, I mean, you know, he created it and now
- 24:28Speaker 11: it's it's it's on its we CNN, and I think
- 24:33Speaker 11: most of the.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Others are on their deaths bad as well, aren't they. Really?
- 24:36Speaker 11: When you get right down to it, you look at
- 24:38Speaker 11: the the median age of a CNN or an MSNBC viewer,
- 24:42Speaker 11: I mean it's they're approaching, you know, Ted Turner room
- 24:47Speaker 11: temperature themselves, aren't they Mysteriously even even Fox I mean
- 24:52Speaker 11: Foxes may still making billions, but you know, I mean
- 24:55Speaker 11: they're kind of like, you know, they're they've plateaued. I mean,
- 24:59Speaker 11: you know, kind of like the Wall Street journalists, you know,
- 25:01Speaker 11: going lost. You know, it's still making money, I guess theoretically,
- 25:05Speaker 11: but it's you know, down. Their circulation was down twelve
- 25:08Speaker 11: percent last year. I mean it's I think, you know,
- 25:10Speaker 11: it's over for a regime control media across the board,
- 25:14Speaker 11: isn't it.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, although the New York Time still makes money.
- 25:18Speaker 2: In New York Post is fine, but.
- 25:20Speaker 11: Yeah, well the New York I mean, the New York
- 25:22Speaker 11: Times is not a news is not a newspaper.
- 25:24Speaker 6: It's a religious organ you know, of a of a
- 25:27Speaker 6: cult and the new and.
- 25:29Speaker 11: The New York Post is you know, it's it's basically
- 25:33Speaker 11: the national newspaper for all of us. Yeah, you know,
- 25:37Speaker 11: that's why they started. That's why they started the California Post,
- 25:40Speaker 11: you know, for the other side of the country, so
- 25:41Speaker 11: they could have a newspaper, because there aren't any newspapers
- 25:45Speaker 11: in California. It's just like there aren't any real newspapers
- 25:47Speaker 11: in the in the northeast except for my newspaper, the
- 25:50Speaker 11: Boston Herald. By the way, did you see what happened
- 25:53Speaker 11: last night in Indiana?
- 25:54Speaker 6: Yeah, and they keeps seeing.
- 25:56Speaker 11: Trump's coalition is falling apart, and they took out they
- 26:00Speaker 11: took out these all these senators who refused to redistrict.
- 26:04Speaker 6: All the Republican senators. I just was looking at the numbers.
- 26:07Speaker 11: One of these guys, an incumbent, got knocked out seventy
- 26:11Speaker 11: three percent to twenty five percent.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, fifty's I've.
- 26:16Speaker 11: Never seen an I've never seen an incumbenty in any
- 26:19Speaker 11: primary lose lose like that. I saw a Democrat incumbent
- 26:23Speaker 11: congressman once lose two to one in Massachusetts. But that's
- 26:26Speaker 11: that's even worse than than I've ever seen.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah, last night in the States.
- 26:31Speaker 6: They were these were Trump's people, you know that, the
- 26:33Speaker 6: defeat of them.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody Trump back last night and Tuesday's unbelievable victory. This,
- 26:38Speaker 2: what would you agree, will be the least covered story
- 26:40Speaker 2: of the day today in the media. This will not
- 26:45Speaker 2: make the Network news.
- 26:48Speaker 6: Right, right.
- 26:49Speaker 11: You know, It's like it's like that, you know, when
- 26:51Speaker 11: I ran issues, I ran demands us surrender and then
- 26:55Speaker 11: the story, the big story in regime control media. Three
- 27:01Speaker 11: buffs Iranian good faith negotiating efforts.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Well, let's say the United States were attacked, God forbid.
- 27:09Speaker 2: But the United States is attacked the first day. They
- 27:11Speaker 2: killed the forty one top leaders in the United States.
- 27:14Speaker 2: They destroy our army, they take away our navy, they
- 27:16Speaker 2: wipe out everything we have. Would the press ever say
- 27:20Speaker 2: we're winning, They're losing, We're winning.
- 27:26Speaker 6: It's so ridiculous, I know, it really is.
- 27:30Speaker 11: I mean, you just you can't. You can't rely on it.
- 27:33Speaker 11: It's I mean, and who but who's you know, who's
- 27:36Speaker 11: believing it? No one believes it? Did you did you see?
- 27:40Speaker 11: Did you see the California debate, the Gubernatory of debate?
- 27:43Speaker 11: That was pretty interesting too last night, you know, I mean,
- 27:46Speaker 11: Steve Hilton just said, look, you know, all the Democrats
- 27:49Speaker 11: up on this stage are blaming Trump. Trump is the
- 27:52Speaker 11: president of forty nine other states. How come the other
- 27:56Speaker 11: forty United States have gas two dollars less per game
- 28:00Speaker 11: in California? How come you singling out California? How come
- 28:03Speaker 11: we have the highest gas, the highest housing prices in
- 28:07Speaker 11: the United States?
- 28:07Speaker 6: It was it was really a good job.
- 28:09Speaker 11: I mean, I don't know if he can win in
- 28:10Speaker 11: a runoff, but he's he's doing a really good job
- 28:14Speaker 11: in this uh in this campaign.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I think, yeah, he's the smartest guy in the race.
- 28:18Speaker 2: He's absolutely right. But we're in a different world now,
- 28:21Speaker 2: you know, Mom, Donnie here in New York. He's a
- 28:23Speaker 2: smooth salesman you can't manage. But he's a great salesman.
- 28:26Speaker 2: He's a great campaigner. Same thing with Gavin Newsom. We
- 28:29Speaker 2: got these salesmen, not managers. What do we do about it?
- 28:35Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:36Speaker 11: I mean it's well, I mean, we can win the
- 28:39Speaker 11: elections or we can flee to h to America. I
- 28:42Speaker 11: mean that's what again, that's what most people are doing
- 28:44Speaker 11: that will live in California and New York right they're
- 28:47Speaker 11: they're they're packing up and getting out.
- 28:49Speaker 6: I mean, how do how do you uh, how do
- 28:52Speaker 6: you deal with this?
- 28:53Speaker 11: I mean Ken Griffin is just pulling up stakes and
- 28:57Speaker 11: you know the thing.
- 28:57Speaker 6: The thing is Ken Griffin.
- 28:59Speaker 11: He doesn't cut from like a hardscravel background, but he
- 29:02Speaker 11: comes from a solid middle class background. He always worked
- 29:04Speaker 11: his rare end off, even when he was going to Harvard.
- 29:07Speaker 11: I mean, he's worked a lot harder and created a
- 29:11Speaker 11: lot more wealth than Mam Donnie ever did. Coming in
- 29:14Speaker 11: as a you know, as as some kind of refugee
- 29:17Speaker 11: or something from Uganda, and uh, you know, getting getting
- 29:22Speaker 11: checking the boxes, living in a free university owned housing,
- 29:27Speaker 11: then then going to a an elite uh woke private
- 29:32Speaker 11: college in Maine, then becoming a rapper. He's a neffle baby.
- 29:36Speaker 11: He's never done anything. And you know what that same
- 29:40Speaker 11: that same uh a biographic biographical description could be applied
- 29:45Speaker 11: to Gavin Newsom, couldn't it. Yeah, thanks everything handed to him. Pritzker,
- 29:51Speaker 11: how about Pritzker? What have any of these people ever done?
- 29:58Speaker 2: Hey, Ally Carr, could you explain New England? You know,
- 30:01Speaker 2: first Vermont alets Bernie Sanders. Now in Maine they got
- 30:05Speaker 2: this communist or actually a Nazi with the Nazi tattoo
- 30:09Speaker 2: he is.
- 30:09Speaker 6: He says he's a communist too, So.
- 30:11Speaker 2: Okay, But what happened? What happened in New England? Why
- 30:16Speaker 2: are they suddenly electing people like this or voting for
- 30:18Speaker 2: people like this?
- 30:20Speaker 11: The problem is all the people with trust funds have
- 30:22Speaker 11: moved in.
- 30:23Speaker 6: You know.
- 30:23Speaker 11: They like the they like the green mountains. It's a
- 30:26Speaker 11: nice view. They like the Sea Coast area, there's very
- 30:30Speaker 11: there's a fewer and fewer real Mainers living on the
- 30:32Speaker 11: Sea coast now. They've they've all been you know, pushed
- 30:36Speaker 11: pushed back into the inland, you know, with the pine
- 30:39Speaker 11: trees and into the trailer parks, the ones that haven't fled.
- 30:42Speaker 11: I mean, it's just it's just all trust funders up
- 30:45Speaker 11: here now, including including Massachusetts, you know, I mean, all
- 30:49Speaker 11: the politicians are are people from that that weren't that
- 30:53Speaker 11: weren't born here, you know. And I mean again, you can,
- 30:56Speaker 11: you know, you can be from somewhere else in the US,
- 31:00Speaker 11: and you know, move somewhere and get involved, but but
- 31:02Speaker 11: don't go don't go to these all these places like
- 31:06Speaker 11: New England, and just to ask everybody to change their ways,
- 31:10Speaker 11: you know, they move, they move into these these places.
- 31:12Speaker 11: It's the same way everywhere. They like, oh this is
- 31:15Speaker 11: a nice rural area. I'm gonna move in here. I'm
- 31:18Speaker 11: gonna spend five million bucks on a place that's worth
- 31:21Speaker 11: a million bucks. And and so then then they say,
- 31:24Speaker 11: then they say, hey, what's that noise. That's the Rotten
- 31:28Speaker 11: Gun Club. It was founded one hundred years ago by
- 31:32Speaker 11: by the people who live here and who work here
- 31:35Speaker 11: and who fix your plumbing in your air conditioning when
- 31:38Speaker 11: it goes out of order, and and they say you
- 31:40Speaker 11: can't have.
- 31:41Speaker 6: The Robin Gun Club here. It's disturbing, uh my tranquility.
- 31:46Speaker 11: And this is going on everywhere, not just in New England, everywhere.
- 31:51Speaker 6: Mark you know it. People listening know.
- 31:54Speaker 11: It, and it's just this is why this, this is
- 31:58Speaker 11: why people you know, maga.
- 32:00Speaker 6: This is a sort of a substrata of coalition. You know,
- 32:05Speaker 6: just leave us alone, you know, all we ask is
- 32:09Speaker 6: to be left alone.
- 32:11Speaker 11: As a famous democrat once said, look it up if
- 32:13Speaker 11: you want to see who said it.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Hey, we got to start using the mahwa for democrats
- 32:18Speaker 2: make America worse again. They're the Mawa movement. Well, Howie
- 32:24Speaker 2: car great stuff. Hey, everybody get his latest book, Mass Corruption.
