- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, guys, Bill Krackenberger, Randy McKay today filling in for
- 0:03Speaker 1: John Johnny Hollywood out with the poker and the Brud's
- 0:08Speaker 1: or something. I don't know what he's doing. Yeah, but
- 0:11Speaker 1: so we got Randy today and this is more of
- 0:13Speaker 1: a sports betting based show. Probably today yesterday big show
- 0:16Speaker 1: with Alan Boston. I'm sure a lot of you guys
- 0:19Speaker 1: probably seen it already. It's been out for twenty four hours,
- 0:22Speaker 1: got like four thousand views on YouTube alone, so not
- 0:25Speaker 1: even it's that for twelve hours. But yeah, Alan broke
- 0:28Speaker 1: down every game. We're gonna have Randy talking about that
- 0:29Speaker 1: a lot today. A lot of good people, great, great
- 0:32Speaker 1: turnout yesterday. At one time I counted with twenty six
- 0:35Speaker 1: people here. We only expected maybe a dozen, so Randy
- 0:38Speaker 1: was here. Also, some people gave me this nice gift.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Someone gave me it. I loved old school books, old
- 0:44Speaker 1: school pictures. There is a new book that I think
- 0:46Speaker 1: it's a new one because I heard this talked about
- 0:48Speaker 1: on Miles to Memories and I love a pole picture book. Yeah,
- 0:53Speaker 1: someone dropped this off for it for me and just
- 0:55Speaker 1: showed me like now and then of all the old
- 0:57Speaker 1: I love the old casinos on my chest. Yeah, there
- 1:01Speaker 1: you go. So anyway, thank you for that. He dropped
- 1:05Speaker 1: off some Yankee hats. We had someone get bring some
- 1:07Speaker 1: food over. We had. We had a really good day yesterday.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Here Alan breaking down all the games. And he's in
- 1:13Speaker 1: town for a couple of weeks. But Randy, uh, you're
- 1:16Speaker 1: in town now just for tonight.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Just for tonight. I'm gonna meet some buddies. Last night,
- 1:22Speaker 2: stayed over because I went to the Vegas Golden Knights game.
- 1:25Speaker 1: They wanted nothing, nothing nice fight in the middle of
- 1:30Speaker 1: it or in the third period fights. I went left
- 1:33Speaker 1: for pretty good a ton of fights. I never usually
- 1:35Speaker 1: see fights. Yeah, not like the old days.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Had really good seats with my buddy dollar Bill. So uh,
- 1:40Speaker 2: I was real happy with that. And then of course
- 1:42Speaker 2: I wanted to come early yesterday to join and see
- 1:45Speaker 2: Alan and see you guys.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And it was a great turnout, great turnout, and he
- 1:50Speaker 1: did a good job breaking down the games. The ones
- 1:53Speaker 1: skipped a couple but now, yeah, somebody likes So what
- 1:58Speaker 1: what is your story now for March Maada? You partake
- 2:01Speaker 1: in one of the casinos over over in Laughlin to
- 2:04Speaker 1: watch the games, you.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Think, Yeah, so the last few years, I've just been
- 2:09Speaker 2: in there. I've been in Colorado, excuse me, and uh
- 2:12Speaker 2: actually a couple of years they're they they hosted the
- 2:17Speaker 2: so we were going to the games and the suites,
- 2:19Speaker 2: which was kind of fun. So of course I don't
- 2:22Speaker 2: do that much in game betting for these, uh, these events,
- 2:26Speaker 2: so it's it's kind of more watching and and kind
- 2:28Speaker 2: of consuming how I feel on some of these teams.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And you know, still looking at the numbers, and you know,
- 2:35Speaker 2: we still get some pregame bets down and some halftimes
- 2:38Speaker 2: and some first halfs. So still going at that way.
- 2:41Speaker 2: And this year, yeah, I'll probably be over in Laughlin
- 2:44Speaker 2: some watching the games. And of course tonight I'll probably
- 2:47Speaker 2: I got a few buddies in town, so watch them
- 2:49Speaker 2: a little bit here tonight.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Now, is uh Dave real good guy one of your
- 2:55Speaker 1: ex partners where you guys are still friends and no,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you still do things together, right, Sure, Dave's a great guy.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I've known him for years. And Dave's still doing what
- 3:03Speaker 1: will he do? The march tre mandous some of the
- 3:05Speaker 1: games to you guys share information.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Yeah, these pre game bets I have, you know, spread bets. Uh,
- 3:12Speaker 2: they're all uh partners with Dave on these so uh yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 2: a lot of chalk this year. We like in the
- 3:19Speaker 2: last two. This will be the third year of taking
- 3:22Speaker 2: taking chalk in the first round. He doesn't like any underdogs. Wow,
- 3:27Speaker 2: so so yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Give a different throw you want to give us, give
- 3:30Speaker 1: us the Uh, this will be out tonight, plenty of
- 3:33Speaker 1: time for tomorrow.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I got what I got seven here one.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I haven't bet I'm debating about betting that one myself.
- 3:42Speaker 2: He's betted. I just haven't betted. I haven't found like
- 3:45Speaker 2: the right number for me. We took uh, and I'll
- 3:49Speaker 2: give betting numbers two seven to ten Louisville.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Okay, seven to ten is the rotation number. That is
- 3:55Speaker 1: tomorrow ten thirty am Louisville minus four and a half
- 4:00Speaker 1: of South Florida.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, we actually took five and a half. And the
- 4:03Speaker 2: line is dropped. We laid five and a half. Excuse me,
- 4:08Speaker 2: thanks for the correcting that.
- 4:09Speaker 1: No, no problem.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And uh, the line.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Has dropped because of this key injury to Louisville player. Okay,
- 4:15Speaker 2: and uh this everybody's on the cellth Floorida team. But
- 4:19Speaker 2: like I said, you know, last three years, the favorites
- 4:22Speaker 2: have been the way to make the money here. And
- 4:24Speaker 2: you know they even interviewed Derek yesterday. I listened to it.
- 4:28Speaker 2: He says he's putting on his mid mid major T
- 4:33Speaker 2: shirt because he needs the mid majors to uh people,
- 4:37Speaker 2: he took the action on the favorites to start out.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Okay, so let's all I want to write him down
- 4:42Speaker 1: for myself too. If I got find my pen, you
- 4:44Speaker 1: got it? Uh so your first one who's minor? I
- 4:48Speaker 1: heard this, I got I just went behind and I'm
- 4:51Speaker 1: gonna steal yours after all? Mind just flew on the floor.
- 4:54Speaker 1: All right, So Louisville, which actually you can get minus
- 4:57Speaker 1: four and a half now a minus oh five? I
- 5:00Speaker 1: bet MGM minusz nine? Here is the first one. What's
- 5:03Speaker 1: your second play?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Seven twelve Michigan State? And if there's a sixteen six, yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and that hasn't moved. That was a one I haven't bet,
- 5:15Speaker 2: but of course my partner has and I couldn't find
- 5:19Speaker 2: the number, but I might bet it now. Of course
- 5:21Speaker 2: that's against my North Dakota State team, who I know
- 5:25Speaker 2: is a pretty good team. So like debating that one, Okay,
- 5:29Speaker 2: I very seldom have my own opinion.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But this is kind of contradictory of another pick. I'll
- 5:35Speaker 3: have on first second all.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Shore markets minus sixteen, wherey brick and mortars sixteen and
- 5:40Speaker 1: a half. So but you can get sixteen. I'm sure
- 5:43Speaker 1: you're just shopping around, all right.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Number three seven twenty four on the rotation.
- 5:47Speaker 2: We took Illinois minus twenty two and a half and
- 5:50Speaker 2: twenty three, and I believe that's ballooned up to some
- 5:53Speaker 2: twenty four and.
- 5:54Speaker 1: A half twenty You can lay twenty four though, Okay, Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 1: Illinois minus twenty four one two, three four. Sportsbooks have
- 6:00Speaker 1: that looking Illinois over over Pennsylvania. I think Boston said,
- 6:05Speaker 1: didn't he say yesterday penn was not good or maybe
- 6:08Speaker 1: shouldn't have been. In Yale Yale, they got lucky versa.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yale screwed up that game, late coach, right by not falling.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Up three or yeah, he was up three and he
- 6:17Speaker 2: let their best shooter shoot a three pointer and tie
- 6:19Speaker 2: it and then lost in overtime, which is a dumb
- 6:23Speaker 2: coach's air that.
- 6:24Speaker 3: You see a lot of times.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, with all these all the money these coaches make
- 6:29Speaker 2: and surprising they make, that kind of.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Went to overtime, right, yeah, and they got beaten overtime.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Thank you, sir, I'll get that. Okay, what's your next one?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Seven thirty two more shock.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Houston, all right, Houston minus twenty three and a half.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yea, we laid twenty three, so we've gotten a little
- 6:48Speaker 2: better of the line.
- 6:49Speaker 3: There in twenty two and a half.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Okay, so I've gotten a little better of the line value,
- 6:54Speaker 2: you know, not not too much.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You when it gets out that type of number, you
- 6:58Speaker 1: really got unlucky. If you lay twenty three and a
- 7:01Speaker 1: half and Randy's laying twenty three or twenty two and
- 7:04Speaker 1: a half, you really get unlucky because it's not like
- 7:06Speaker 1: you're laying one and now you have to play two
- 7:09Speaker 1: where you know the games will fall a little more
- 7:11Speaker 1: into place.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And Alan had a good discussion about diminishing.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Returns too when the lines get higher like that where
- 7:19Speaker 2: the lower spreads, of course said getting those extra points
- 7:23Speaker 2: is a lot more valuable than these big spreads.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So okay, all right.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I didn't agree on that one. I don't think this
- 7:29Speaker 2: one's moved at all. Seven fifty to Yukon.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Going to going to Friday's games. Yukon is minus twenty
- 7:37Speaker 1: minus twenty at Circa, minus twenty and a half, minus
- 7:40Speaker 1: twenty one at South Point, so minus twenty at Circus
- 7:43Speaker 1: probably a really good line.
- 7:44Speaker 3: We laid twenty and twenty and a half.
- 7:46Speaker 1: They're so okay, yukon you can yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I said, we're picking on these small schools
- 7:52Speaker 2: mostly with these number two seeds.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you're probably the first handicapper I've ever known that
- 7:59Speaker 1: is coming in all these favorites. No, which is two years,
- 8:02Speaker 1: which is money, which has been By the way, someone
- 8:04Speaker 1: just came by before and had every game, every tree had.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He had a book. What do you think favorites did
- 8:09Speaker 1: blindly betting favorites in college basketball this year? Fifty three
- 8:13Speaker 1: point nine percent. Unbelievable, almost fifty four percent bet in
- 8:18Speaker 1: every favorite. Favorites half dominated this year. Okay, U com
- 8:21Speaker 1: what's next?
- 8:22Speaker 2: And like I said, the last two years we've been doing.
- 8:25Speaker 2: This will be the third year taking these favorites, and
- 8:27Speaker 2: you know it's ugly, it's hard to do, but they've
- 8:30Speaker 2: been cashing.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So uh the next one seven sixty two, a team
- 8:36Speaker 2: that's underperformed all season, Kentucky and actually we got the
- 8:40Speaker 2: worst of it there.
- 8:41Speaker 3: We laid three and a half.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, minus three minus nine right here, minus three pretty
- 8:48Speaker 1: much minus two and a half minus eighteen. I probably
- 8:50Speaker 1: laid the three minus three minus o nine.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yeah, more than that after the show.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Actually, that's here at super book here, Superbooks.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I might get some more on that one.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You know, I guess Kentucky this year's a Cinderella team
- 9:04Speaker 2: to win it all, even though they have the highest payroll, right,
- 9:08Speaker 2: so everybody's looking for a Cinderella.
- 9:11Speaker 3: There you go, Kentucky.
- 9:13Speaker 1: All right, what's your next one? Chucky?
- 9:15Speaker 3: Chucky? He's got seven sixty eight Kansas.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Kansas first cal Baptist. You can late, you can lay
- 9:22Speaker 1: fourteen fourteen minus fifteen. Let's call it minus fourteen and
- 9:26Speaker 1: a half.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Now we laid fourteen. So yeah, we got a little
- 9:30Speaker 2: bit of the best of it. A lot of people
- 9:32Speaker 2: like cal Baptist, they got one of the They got
- 9:35Speaker 2: a really good player there, but we feel that he'll
- 9:38Speaker 2: get shut down. And you know, these are all numbers
- 9:41Speaker 2: that we feel like a week ago, these numbers would
- 9:45Speaker 2: have been three points higher, like Kansas would have been seventeen,
- 9:48Speaker 2: you know, Kentucky would have been six. You know, stuff
- 9:51Speaker 2: like that, And that's why we're on the chalky picks.
- 9:54Speaker 2: But I do have some first half recommendations if you
- 9:57Speaker 2: want to those next, and.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know yes to. I was asking Alan, like, you know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: if you like one of these big dogs, you know,
- 10:04Speaker 1: always better off hang them. They usually hang a little
- 10:06Speaker 1: bit more for the first half before the talent comes in.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Sometimes these kids are so pumped up to be in
- 10:11Speaker 1: the tournament, maybe they'll play a little bit over their head,
- 10:15Speaker 1: whereas the team, like a duke, they just expect to
- 10:19Speaker 1: be there and they just don't want to get No.
- 10:20Speaker 1: One hurt their twenty some point favorite. It's almost thirty
- 10:23Speaker 1: point favorite. But some of them, Alan was saying, No,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the back door was actually better on them, but some
- 10:28Speaker 1: are first half so let's see what you've got in
- 10:30Speaker 1: first half.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So this has been successful for me. Most of the
- 10:33Speaker 2: time betting the tournament is betting on these first half
- 10:36Speaker 2: and like you said, pinpointing these underdogs because usually you
- 10:39Speaker 2: get it. A lot of times you get a half
- 10:41Speaker 2: point more in the first half. Yeah, did a little
- 10:44Speaker 2: better line too, to add to your you know, this
- 10:48Speaker 2: team's performing better in the first.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Half is being all motivated, and then you know the.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Talent overwhelms them in the second half, right right, So
- 10:57Speaker 2: the first one I was looking at, which is contrary.
- 11:00Speaker 2: The Michigan State is, of course my home state, North
- 11:03Speaker 2: Dakota State.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Well, so you'll bet Michigan State for the game. I
- 11:07Speaker 1: have North Daklorida State for the first half.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Have not done yet.
- 11:10Speaker 1: No, but how do you do?
- 11:12Speaker 3: That was one I kind of liked.
- 11:13Speaker 1: All right, let's write it down Michigan State. I'm sorry,
- 11:17Speaker 1: got Michigan State for the game. Now you're going with
- 11:19Speaker 1: North Dakota State first.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Half, it just kind of falls.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Let's pull up the first half. North Dakota State is
- 11:25Speaker 1: plus nine and a half.
- 11:27Speaker 2: There is more of a market today than there was
- 11:29Speaker 2: yesterday when I looked at this.
- 11:30Speaker 3: So yeah yesterday when I left, you.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Win both of them. Boy, you got the ultimate horseshop.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I have not beta yet, so hot record, I have
- 11:39Speaker 2: not taken that one. I like the first half North
- 11:41Speaker 2: Dakota State better of course than laying the Michigan State.
- 11:46Speaker 3: The second one would be McNee State. I don't have.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I should have wrote down Road.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Plus six and a half, real solid. I think I'm
- 11:53Speaker 1: not positive, guys, you have to check. I don't know
- 11:56Speaker 1: if I allan agreed with that I think. I think
- 11:58Speaker 1: he did first half. I think that's one of them.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I asked them about McNeice plus six and a half,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and they.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Won a tournament game last year, so they kind of
- 12:07Speaker 2: got some experience back. That's another thing I look for
- 12:10Speaker 2: as far as my formula coas. Vanderbilt can be a
- 12:13Speaker 2: hit and miss team, which could hurt them, but hopefully
- 12:16Speaker 2: in the first half McNee hangs in there. Okay, what's
- 12:19Speaker 2: the next next one's right next door to it, Troy.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Troy plus seven and a half at bet MGM, I'm
- 12:26Speaker 1: seeing right away. But plus seven's also Troy plus let's
- 12:30Speaker 1: let's rate it plus seven. That's the more available line.
- 12:32Speaker 2: So that was plus thirteen full games. So here's my
- 12:35Speaker 2: point right there. You're getting seven and a half in
- 12:38Speaker 2: the first half I bet them the game, and.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Only getting thirteen in the full game.
- 12:43Speaker 2: We've get a little bit more value, I think in
- 12:44Speaker 2: the first half betting at seven.
- 12:46Speaker 1: And yeah, you know what, I'm gonna bet them right
- 12:48Speaker 1: here live you see if I can get that seven
- 12:50Speaker 1: and a half on the first half. Now, are you
- 12:53Speaker 1: in on that already?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Sure?
- 12:54Speaker 1: No? No, okay, you want to get in now? They're
- 12:57Speaker 1: pretty good to me, look at us live betting, live
- 13:00Speaker 1: betting on the show. You know we have some bets
- 13:04Speaker 1: in order. I think I owe you two grand No, yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I mean we have the figure. The higher the figure goes,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the more you could play in traffic, you know, say,
- 13:13Speaker 1: but I'm just joking.
- 13:15Speaker 3: You know that we have a hockey hockey future pending.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Is that what we have? Okay? What are we?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Weready to one? We're rooting for Providence College.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Providence College at thirty to one. All right, let's go
- 13:26Speaker 1: to this Thursday. This is live bets here on the show, Troy.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Let's see if it is. I hope, I hope odds
- 13:32Speaker 1: logics right, yes, plus seven and a half. Oh see,
- 13:36Speaker 1: how see how they now? This kind of bothers me.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I don't like how they have both of these places.
- 13:44Speaker 1: A lot of these places have thirty cent juice on
- 13:46Speaker 1: first halfs, which is bothersome. I rather, I don't know
- 13:49Speaker 1: if it's worth the extra ten cents. I'd rather go
- 13:52Speaker 1: plus seven minus oh five. Okay, you know I'd rather
- 13:55Speaker 1: do that. So yeah, like draft Kings, and they have
- 13:59Speaker 1: con society to literally if I go first half, just
- 14:04Speaker 1: go line here spread You could see how Vegas is
- 14:07Speaker 1: plus seven minus one ten each side. And then you
- 14:10Speaker 1: have the other sports books here minus one twenty of
- 14:14Speaker 1: the score, bet rivers, bet rivers. I can go on
- 14:19Speaker 1: and on FanDuel minus dollars twelve both ways, DraftKings minus
- 14:23Speaker 1: a dollar twenty five on one side, minus o five
- 14:26Speaker 1: the other side. I've never laid fifteen cents on each
- 14:29Speaker 1: side of my life on first half.
- 14:32Speaker 3: It's just a terrible thing that some of the terrible
- 14:34Speaker 3: new books.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Of course, these kids that are betting, they don't care,
- 14:36Speaker 1: they're just looking to bet.
- 14:37Speaker 3: They're doing the same game parlays.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Look, let's go to let's go to your next one.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The first half.
- 14:43Speaker 2: High Point against Wisconsin. Okay, that line has dropped a
- 14:48Speaker 2: little bit, but I still like the first half with.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Plus six only at circle looks like, oh no, super
- 14:53Speaker 1: book right here, so high point plus six, high point
- 14:57Speaker 1: plus six? Did you get that? Did you bet that
- 14:58Speaker 1: one yet? I I won't bet that one. Yeah, you
- 15:01Speaker 1: can bet it either place, all right, and we're on
- 15:04Speaker 1: high point. It looks it looks like every sharp guy
- 15:06Speaker 1: I knows on high point. That's scary. Yeah, that is
- 15:09Speaker 1: a little scary scary. But okay, what do you got next.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Next one's right next door there. I see Hawaii's playing Arkansas.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I like a Hawaii sixteen pregame. I see you can
- 15:19Speaker 2: get an eight and a.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Half Hawaii plus eight and a half. Also a pregame
- 15:25Speaker 1: flop on plus fifteen and a half. I know someone
- 15:28Speaker 1: back east took a sharp guy. I know.
- 15:30Speaker 2: So this is actually Hawaii has a big advantage in
- 15:35Speaker 2: this game to start.
- 15:36Speaker 3: I think they stayed in.
- 15:38Speaker 2: The mainland, and of course they're over there because they
- 15:41Speaker 2: played here in Vegas. Arkansas played the championship game and
- 15:45Speaker 2: now has to travel.
- 15:46Speaker 3: All the way to Portland.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Okay, you know, so that even dictates more of a
- 15:51Speaker 2: little angle here for the first half.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I probably like that one. That'll be the top play
- 15:56Speaker 3: for all.
- 15:56Speaker 1: The first plus eight and a half minus five at
- 16:00Speaker 1: circa a lot of places, so you can get plus
- 16:03Speaker 1: and caesars if you're allowed to bet there. Don't win, No,
- 16:07Speaker 1: don't win, you win. You might get in trouble over there.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Let's say I have one of my favorite players in
- 16:12Speaker 2: the whole tournament is a big center.
- 16:14Speaker 3: His nickname is big Fish.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Big Fish, that's his nickname. Wow, hopefully does he play poker?
- 16:20Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:21Speaker 1: All right, what have we got next? Hawaii first half?
- 16:23Speaker 3: Hofstra first half.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Let's see Hofstra first half. Let's go to Friday's Friday,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I believe. Now Hofstra plus seven minus a dollars. You know,
- 16:34Speaker 1: look at the difference. A lot of places don't have
- 16:36Speaker 1: the line up yet plus six and a half. Look,
- 16:40Speaker 1: we're gonna grade it at six and a half. There
- 16:42Speaker 1: is seven far off markets, but plus six and a
- 16:45Speaker 1: half at some places here in town. Hofstra plus six
- 16:50Speaker 1: and a half.
- 16:51Speaker 2: And that's why I like to bet these day of game,
- 16:53Speaker 2: because then you have the full menu and maybe publicers
- 16:56Speaker 2: and some of the favorite they put up a lot
- 16:58Speaker 2: of the Thursdays already.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, okay, what's next?
- 17:02Speaker 3: Northern Iowa.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Northern Iowa first half. Here we go versus Saint John's.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Now you got plus five and a half. Look at
- 17:11Speaker 1: look at Fanatics plus five and a half minus one
- 17:14Speaker 1: twenty each way. I mean want to just hit you
- 17:16Speaker 1: over the head with a freaking fucking pipe and take
- 17:19Speaker 1: the money minus a dollar twenty first ways, both ways
- 17:23Speaker 1: on first half. Very nice of you guys, Very nice
- 17:25Speaker 1: to you guys.
- 17:26Speaker 2: We'll say Fanatics if you can keep their accounts.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Yeah, are worth a lot of money. Okay, so go
- 17:32Speaker 1: to the kiosks, circumvent limits and try to beat up fanatics.
- 17:36Speaker 3: And now, well not Northern Iowa.
- 17:38Speaker 2: I grew up playing against their coach, which Boston is
- 17:42Speaker 2: one of their favorite coach Ben Jacobson is from Mayville,
- 17:46Speaker 2: North Dakota, our rival town.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Okay, so little tid bet. They're oh cool?
- 17:52Speaker 3: All right?
- 17:52Speaker 1: So plus five and a half pretty much widely available.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Uh and what's your what's you have? One more?
- 17:57Speaker 3: No, that's that's it.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Party's over. That's all right, Randy, see you later. No, No,
- 18:02Speaker 1: I have a lot of subjects matter. People are really
- 18:04Speaker 1: gonna like if you're I know, those people turn tune
- 18:07Speaker 1: in for different things. But it is March madness, so
- 18:10Speaker 1: that's why we're talking to March madness. But I have
- 18:13Speaker 1: some subject matter for you. Did you see that article
- 18:18Speaker 1: CDC Gaming, No, it's on CDC. Did you read the
- 18:21Speaker 1: article casino's tackling rising slot advantage play. These casino executives
- 18:27Speaker 1: who sometimes they go overboard, so they have to prove
- 18:30Speaker 1: their job. These guys with a nice fancy degrees, they
- 18:33Speaker 1: have to you know, never made a bet in their
- 18:35Speaker 1: life knowing anything in marketing and they have no idea
- 18:37Speaker 1: because they don't gamble. Like I wouldn't hire someone in
- 18:40Speaker 1: casino marketing being a casino host player development, I wouldn't
- 18:44Speaker 1: hire one of those guys without them knowing what it
- 18:46Speaker 1: is to lose a paycheck and what it is to gamble.
- 18:49Speaker 1: These guys, at least two of them, looks like they
- 18:54Speaker 1: never ever gambled in their life and looks like their
- 18:56Speaker 1: wife tells them every single thing what to do when
- 18:58Speaker 1: they're outside of that suit. So but yeah, so this
- 19:02Speaker 1: article is about people taking advantage of card building and
- 19:07Speaker 1: building cards and the advantage slots. The reason why I
- 19:11Speaker 1: say what I say and I'm being a little harsh
- 19:12Speaker 1: on these guys, is I think these guys are overdoing
- 19:16Speaker 1: it this article. I I don't think the problem is
- 19:18Speaker 1: as widespread as these geniuses you think. And you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: some of these guys are the director of Chief Surveillance
- 19:26Speaker 1: directors and and retired FBI agent Vice President Anti Fraud
- 19:32Speaker 1: Strategy and Investigation. What they have an x FBI guy
- 19:38Speaker 1: as they're ahead of their uh, their their tribe council
- 19:42Speaker 1: on their on their security and surveillance to commission. But uh, this.
- 19:49Speaker 1: One person said, you guys can read this. It's right
- 19:51Speaker 1: on CDC gaming dot com at c d C Gaming. Uh.
- 19:56Speaker 1: He said, the slots are the biggest revenue Jennifer, revenue
- 19:59Speaker 1: generator for the casinos. But yet there's so much investment
- 20:03Speaker 1: bringing in and retaining customers. The problem is groups are
- 20:06Speaker 1: re engineering these programs, knowing them better than the casinos,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and attacking the promotions. I will agree with that. I
- 20:15Speaker 1: think the public does know the sharp public groups do
- 20:19Speaker 1: know what is uh, what generates so much comps and
- 20:25Speaker 1: COO and cash back and offers. But however, you know
- 20:30Speaker 1: a lot of these so called slot syndicates, these slots
- 20:34Speaker 1: guys that go around to check machines. You wouldn't believe
- 20:37Speaker 1: the bulk of them lose the money in the casino
- 20:41Speaker 1: doing other things. They have to realize that these guys
- 20:44Speaker 1: are We just did an article. We just read an
- 20:46Speaker 1: article last week. It's on casinos dot org. I believe
- 20:50Speaker 1: it is casino Casino dot org. It's called the Chinese
- 20:54Speaker 1: eleven and that's it's that. That's the article saying that,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and it's about these eleven guys that were cheating using
- 21:03Speaker 1: the cut card of the deck and and going up
- 21:06Speaker 1: and down that. You know, when they hand you the
- 21:09Speaker 1: deck of cards to cut, the guy would take this
- 21:11Speaker 1: with a camera, tiny micro sized camera and go up
- 21:14Speaker 1: and down the deck of cards like this and then
- 21:16Speaker 1: finally cut got a glimpse of every card. Yeah, you
- 21:19Speaker 1: probably did it. Okay, kick the table you got Listen,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you go to jail for that someone in the car van.
- 21:29Speaker 1: You know what an earl? No, you're you're This is
- 21:32Speaker 1: worse than slide of dice. You're you're you're getting the
- 21:35Speaker 1: outcome of the cards. So anyway, Uh, those guys I read,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I read about those guys into it. More of those
- 21:43Speaker 1: guys are gamblers that have a lifetime losing, gamblers that
- 21:47Speaker 1: I've lost more. Now, granted, you can't cheat like that.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm not saying that. I don't condone it. I don't.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I'm against trust me. I'm against casinos for a lot
- 21:57Speaker 1: of things. I'm not against for blatantly cheating casino and
- 22:00Speaker 1: getting yourself thrown out for cheating. But yes, there are
- 22:05Speaker 1: people who build cards and even myself, I was told, hey,
- 22:08Speaker 1: play here. They're going to give you back three thousand
- 22:11Speaker 1: or four thousand dollars in cash if you put through
- 22:13Speaker 1: one hundred thousand or whatever it may be. I've done
- 22:15Speaker 1: that myself. I don't really have the brass to I'll
- 22:20Speaker 1: do my wife maybe like someone with my own last name.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm not going to have a stack of cards from
- 22:25Speaker 1: different people, you know, But this I want to know, Randy,
- 22:30Speaker 1: what is wrong with your neighbor saying, Hey, Randy, do
- 22:34Speaker 1: me a favor. You're going to the casino today, Go
- 22:36Speaker 1: pick up my free play. Here's my pin number, and
- 22:39Speaker 1: I'll play it through a couple of times, and you know,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'll split away, or I'll give you a piece of
- 22:42Speaker 1: my free play and you generate you earn that free play.
- 22:48Speaker 1: What is the bad deal of one having one or two?
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm not saying you have a stack of fifteen. People
- 22:53Speaker 1: are being arrested all over the country, especially back East,
- 22:57Speaker 1: having multiple cards and literally arrested for it, which I'm
- 23:01Speaker 1: shocked they arrest if the person gives you permission to
- 23:04Speaker 1: play under their card. I'm not saying you're building up
- 23:07Speaker 1: their card themselves, but they're giving you permission. I can't
- 23:10Speaker 1: believe they're arresting people for this, but because only because
- 23:14Speaker 1: I know the human nature and the human condition, these
- 23:17Speaker 1: guys are losing the money, and they're just trying to
- 23:19Speaker 1: set examples arresting people. What's your opinion of the whole thing.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I just said, Yeah, there shouldn't be uh.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I don't think there should be any replicussion about picking
- 23:27Speaker 2: up your you know, let's say your neighbor's free player
- 23:30Speaker 2: or any of that. You know, when I worked in casinos,
- 23:33Speaker 2: of course, I you know Steve wind Own, and of
- 23:35Speaker 2: course his philosophy was always protect your game. If you're
- 23:39Speaker 2: not protecting your game, it's your fault, you know. So
- 23:44Speaker 2: these people here got to look in the mirror at themselves,
- 23:47Speaker 2: you know, at their own casinos. They're making the mistakes
- 23:51Speaker 2: of giving out too much if they don't like this.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Kind of behavior.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And also, you know, a lot of fault is on them,
- 23:59Speaker 2: which they won't blame themselves forever never, and they'll never
- 24:03Speaker 2: blame themselves for it. But if you're not protecting your
- 24:06Speaker 2: own game and not protecting your casino, you could be
- 24:10Speaker 2: you could be taking advantage of like they say. But
- 24:13Speaker 2: as far as picking up somebody's free play, I don't
- 24:16Speaker 2: see anything wrong with it. I know it's a little
- 24:18Speaker 2: frowned upon, but you know, be transparent with a customer.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Otherwise you're gonna lose customers and then you're not gonna
- 24:26Speaker 2: you know, what keeps on the lights, the customer.
- 24:29Speaker 1: And how about I feel like us that we have
- 24:31Speaker 1: we have influence. I get about ten million views a
- 24:33Speaker 1: month on socials between my three or four socials. I mean,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I don't try to go at casinos unwarranted, just for nothing.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I go at casinos for throwing me out, for betting sports,
- 24:45Speaker 1: for winning. So I'll go after the stations and the Caesars.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You know, they losers only, it's all they want. They
- 24:51Speaker 1: want losers only. If you have a pulse and you
- 24:54Speaker 1: just win for the day, you win for the day.
- 24:56Speaker 1: At stations, they're looking at you with a crooked eye.
- 24:59Speaker 1: I mean they And by the way, I love stations.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I love Green Valley Ranches. Just putting one hundred million
- 25:06Speaker 1: in the place. I love Green Valley Ranch, I love
- 25:09Speaker 1: Red Rock, I love Durrango. Great places to eat, great shows,
- 25:13Speaker 1: great meals, great atmospheres, great sports books. The sports books
- 25:18Speaker 1: themselves are really nice. I'll talk good and bad about everything.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I think I'm pretty fair talking good and bad about
- 25:24Speaker 1: industries and people and stuff. So yeah, it's unfair. I
- 25:28Speaker 1: want to read you guys one more. I know I'm
- 25:29Speaker 1: on this article a long time. I want to read
- 25:31Speaker 1: this to you. This is coming from one of the
- 25:33Speaker 1: surveillance directors. When we found this guy, we were looking
- 25:37Speaker 1: at what he was doing differently than our other players
- 25:40Speaker 1: and taking advantage of our system. The first step was
- 25:43Speaker 1: watching him and seeing him coming every day and what
- 25:45Speaker 1: machines he was hitting on the floor. The one guy
- 25:48Speaker 1: was winning three hundred thousand a year against us. That's
- 25:51Speaker 1: a lot of money. When we finally kicked him out,
- 25:53Speaker 1: he had his mom, dadd and grandma there. They were
- 25:56Speaker 1: all there, and like Randy said, you guys, he gave
- 26:00Speaker 1: him the offer. He didn't come in and steal with
- 26:03Speaker 1: a mask and a gun. You know, he just ran hot.
- 26:07Speaker 1: He just to run to have that exactly. But then
- 26:10Speaker 1: it's funny what they say. They're right about this. When
- 26:13Speaker 1: they run in the free play after building a card,
- 26:15Speaker 1: they run to the video Pokram machine and ninety nine
- 26:17Speaker 1: point five four. Of course, you and I know that's
- 26:19Speaker 1: jacks are better nine to six jacks. And if you
- 26:22Speaker 1: give them three thousand and free play, you've given them
- 26:24Speaker 1: three thousand in cash. Again, not realizing what they're saying.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Someone just saying something not the royals, almost like five
- 26:31Speaker 1: percent of that jack. You have to a royal for
- 26:33Speaker 1: it to be ninety nine zero point five four. You're
- 26:35Speaker 1: on camera? Is that a right? Star? You're not wanted
- 26:37Speaker 1: or on the lamb or anything. Right, You're good. You're
- 26:40Speaker 1: on camera? Is that all right? Okay? Good? Thank you?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Just told he's like, you'd like to have some fun
- 26:47Speaker 1: with customers. He looked like he didn't, like I said,
- 26:49Speaker 1: you probably shouldn't. I man, sometimes I'm a little crazy.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Just try to be phoning people.
- 26:53Speaker 3: And that's what we recommend too.
- 26:54Speaker 2: To play playback on the if you get free play offers,
- 26:57Speaker 2: to play back on those, Yeah, some kind of video
- 27:00Speaker 2: I'll play.
- 27:01Speaker 1: I'll try to flee it. When you do get free
- 27:03Speaker 1: play back, you do play the video poker, and it's
- 27:06Speaker 1: a little bit better than playing the reels or something. Now,
- 27:09Speaker 1: you know, like I said yesterday, you made a comment.
- 27:12Speaker 1: We went to lunch and you said, you know, when
- 27:14Speaker 1: you're going through a casino checking machines for some advantage.
- 27:17Speaker 1: There's a lot of different new machines out, lots of
- 27:20Speaker 1: different bonuses on there that the public may not know,
- 27:23Speaker 1: but guys like Randy will know. And casinos now are
- 27:27Speaker 1: backing off people, even throwing them out from checking machines.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So just for checking machines, they're throwing them out. But
- 27:35Speaker 1: I like what you said, just have ab out t
- 27:37Speaker 1: your in your hand player card. You know a lot
- 27:39Speaker 1: of people chech machines may not have that stuff. But
- 27:42Speaker 1: most casinos, most casinos will not throw people out. They're
- 27:48Speaker 1: afraid of lawsuits. They're afraid of racial discrimination lawsuits and stuff,
- 27:52Speaker 1: so they won't throw people out compared to other casinos
- 27:55Speaker 1: will back some people off. I know back East, I'm here,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I'm here and there really being real strong on throwing
- 28:01Speaker 1: people out left and.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Right another bad precedent.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Like, like you know, throwing people out's tough.
- 28:08Speaker 1: It's tough to be throwing people out left and right.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I agree there, I don't think people should be thrown out.
- 28:14Speaker 1: You know, I'm trying to think if I ran at casino,
- 28:16Speaker 1: how I would do it. Though, my job would be
- 28:20Speaker 1: to make sure they're not harassing the guests what I
- 28:22Speaker 1: call sour rooters standing behind someone arms crossed, a little
- 28:27Speaker 1: intimidating stance. Maybe even I've seen this happen multiple times.
- 28:31Speaker 1: They blow smoke onto the game. You know, I get mad.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I have a video on my phone i've never showed yet.
- 28:38Speaker 1: My friends from back in Atlantic City, my friends from
- 28:40Speaker 1: South Philly. You know, the one guy. Unfortunately, the other
- 28:44Speaker 1: guy died. We both know he had amazing it's so terrible.
- 28:49Speaker 1: My buddy Craig, he died. He had an affection from diabetes,
- 28:53Speaker 1: type one diabetes. And but you know they were in Timid.
- 28:56Speaker 1: They're pretty big guys, and they we watched this guy
- 28:59Speaker 1: at Ocean Casino blowing smoke on an old lady. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: have it on video. My friend went up there and
- 29:05Speaker 1: almost he just said he went crazy on the guy
- 29:07Speaker 1: guy right in his face, you know, sticking up for
- 29:09Speaker 1: the senior, which I like to do myself too. But
- 29:14Speaker 1: all right, so let me ask you, going back to
- 29:15Speaker 1: a little bit about March madness and basketball, Randy, you
- 29:20Speaker 1: won't I'm sure you won't do this. I'm sure you
- 29:22Speaker 1: won't bet into these one way markets like to win
- 29:26Speaker 1: it all, you know, Duke to win it all plus
- 29:29Speaker 1: three twenty five. You won't bet into these one way markets.
- 29:32Speaker 1: You're more more if you're going to better future a
- 29:35Speaker 1: mechanical parlay. Let's say, if you like something like Illinois
- 29:38Speaker 1: at twenty to one, you might be able to bet
- 29:41Speaker 1: money line on them and get more of an ROI
- 29:45Speaker 1: than betting them straight up. Is that right? Yeah?
- 29:48Speaker 2: Well, I actually have futures from the beginning of the year,
- 29:50Speaker 2: but they're not very good odds. I have u Khan
- 29:53Speaker 2: of Kentucky, but you can get way better odds on
- 29:56Speaker 2: those now, So yeah, I would I would rather do
- 29:59Speaker 2: the rollover most of the time.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Roll over most of the times. Yeah, And uh, now,
- 30:04Speaker 1: are you going to be betting any of these? I
- 30:06Speaker 1: like some of these prop bets over under how many
- 30:09Speaker 1: seeds and there and there's one that is uh that
- 30:13Speaker 1: that yesterday we talked about on the show over one
- 30:16Speaker 1: and a half over one and a half number one
- 30:19Speaker 1: seeds to make it to the final four. It was
- 30:21Speaker 1: minus a dollar and a quarterback at MGM minus a
- 30:24Speaker 1: dollar sixty right now? And any opinion on that those
- 30:28Speaker 1: kind of bets are any any of these? Have you
- 30:30Speaker 1: looked at any of these prop type type.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Of props moved a lot that number one? I think
- 30:33Speaker 2: it's up to I don't know.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You could probably look at them, has it moved a lot,
- 30:38Speaker 1: but it was not the.
- 30:38Speaker 3: One seed one has moved a lot.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I think, I think a dollar in a quarter for
- 30:41Speaker 1: their max max you know, only oh wow, twenty.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I thought I heard two dollars over one and a
- 30:47Speaker 2: half and that circa I heard that one.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It wasn't up at circle at the time. I've seen
- 30:51Speaker 1: that bet on GM when I bet it. But all right,
- 30:54Speaker 1: so it's you're you're going into a number where it
- 30:56Speaker 1: becomes an unprofitable bet laying two to one. That so
- 31:02Speaker 1: now what else? What else? Like, Randy, will you go
- 31:04Speaker 1: around today? Will you play a little bit a little
- 31:05Speaker 1: bit on the casino floor? Will you gamble a little bit? Like?
- 31:08Speaker 1: Or were you? Are you a guy that? In other words,
- 31:10Speaker 1: do you know you have to give the casino so
- 31:12Speaker 1: much action? And that's it? In other words, I know,
- 31:16Speaker 1: if I put through one hundred thousand video poker, it
- 31:18Speaker 1: sounds like a lot of folks. It's not one hundred
- 31:20Speaker 1: thousand video poker a couple hours, am I right?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it depends on what kind of game we're playing.
- 31:24Speaker 2: But yeah, you can get through that.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so it sounds like a lot and you're you're
- 31:29Speaker 1: perfect strategy if you're giving them one percent, which means
- 31:33Speaker 1: you're giving up you know, you know, a thousand bucks
- 31:36Speaker 1: or I'm sorry, yeah, a thousand dollars. But sometimes you'll
- 31:39Speaker 1: get an offer that is more than that. That's why
- 31:43Speaker 1: it's worth playing. Do you stop because it's closet gambling
- 31:46Speaker 1: video poker, So do you stop at that number?
- 31:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 31:51Speaker 1: Or were you still if you're Sometimes if you're down
- 31:54Speaker 1: six grand and you're like, damni, play an extra extra?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Do you do that once in a while or you
- 32:00Speaker 1: find yourself no, I'll come back next time when I
- 32:02Speaker 1: get an offer.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you try not to worry about the wind loss,
- 32:05Speaker 2: and you tried just to put in your amount that
- 32:08Speaker 2: you're kind of.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Targeted to put in to get that offer.
- 32:10Speaker 2: So yeah, I usually stop, but you know, of course,
- 32:13Speaker 2: sometimes hard to do.
- 32:15Speaker 3: You know, gets in there a.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Course, but it's hard.
- 32:17Speaker 3: It's hard course when you're winning.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Too the other direction that stuff as well. But most
- 32:22Speaker 2: of the time, sometimes they'll play over a little bit,
- 32:24Speaker 2: but yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Most of the time, it's it's set to that number.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Hey, Randy, you know downtown at the Plaza, they have
- 32:32Speaker 1: a streaming room now, and so you walk in there
- 32:35Speaker 1: and you're you have to consent to being on film
- 32:38Speaker 1: and people at home can watch you playing slocks. You
- 32:41Speaker 1: know about that at all? Oh wow, Yeah, Streaming Room
- 32:43Speaker 1: opened that and I'm here and it's pretty successful. Actually,
- 32:46Speaker 1: you know, people want their friends and relatives and family
- 32:49Speaker 1: see this idea or something, maybe something with polic or
- 32:52Speaker 1: Vegas Matt someone down there. So now Park MGM came
- 32:57Speaker 1: up with an idea, the no smoking casino, which we
- 32:59Speaker 1: love how it's a nose smoking casino. By the way,
- 33:02Speaker 1: every time I go in Park MGM, it's packed. It's
- 33:04Speaker 1: always packed. So people that say, well, I don't know,
- 33:07Speaker 1: you got to allow smokers and nervous energy people gamble.
- 33:09Speaker 1: It goes hand in hand bs because Park MGM is packed.
- 33:15Speaker 1: That little center bar around it's you can't get a
- 33:17Speaker 1: spot at any time in the night. It's always packed.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Bavett's Fantastic steakhouse one of my favorites is one in Chicago,
- 33:23Speaker 1: one here, and also Italy over there. Italy has some great.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I have even a secret one that people don't know
- 33:31Speaker 2: about there and of course not going to be a
- 33:33Speaker 2: secret when I say it, but the library I don't know.
- 33:37Speaker 2: So Bavetts it's hard to get into, very hard and
- 33:40Speaker 2: very full of reservations. Where the libraries on the other
- 33:44Speaker 2: side by the reserve tower. And it's a dark, very dark.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Like the library. So you go in there.
- 33:53Speaker 2: There's books all over the part, but it's easier to
- 33:56Speaker 2: get into and it has We there the other night
- 33:58Speaker 2: before Sammy Hagar right, excellent food.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Wow, thanks for inviting me to Sammy. Uh yeah, so
- 34:04Speaker 1: the library, how is Sammy aegar? Great?
- 34:06Speaker 3: He was great?
- 34:07Speaker 1: He was great, right, and he's still got the the
- 34:10Speaker 1: old some of the old Van Halen guys in there. Why,
- 34:12Speaker 1: oh yeah, what's the name?
- 34:14Speaker 3: Yeah, Anthony was there? So Satirani?
- 34:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe Satrianni. It's just ridiculous guitar.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Play had They both had some good solos. He took
- 34:23Speaker 2: a break for a.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Couple of songs and them to Joe Satrianni, one of
- 34:26Speaker 1: the greats of all time. Yeah, I appreciate Guitarok.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Second alien there looks like Pauli him and Pauli c
- 34:32Speaker 2: could be brothers.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Oh all right, they're gonna try a Boston and there.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, but so Park MGM think of that. Uh.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Park MGM also has this place called the library kind
- 34:45Speaker 1: of food.
- 34:46Speaker 2: So it's it's more of a high end restaurant. I
- 34:49Speaker 2: had the hell of it that night. But you can
- 34:50Speaker 2: get steaks in there. It's like similar to the Pavets menu,
- 34:55Speaker 2: but there's probably their own specialties as well.
- 34:57Speaker 1: The secret with Bavets is going when they open up,
- 35:00Speaker 1: let's first come, first serve around the bar and if
- 35:03Speaker 1: you don't mind bar seats, which I really don't like.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I don't like leaning over eating. But but Vet's is
- 35:06Speaker 1: a tough joint to get into. Uh, you go on
- 35:09Speaker 1: there their app I thought they're app there. Yeah, their
- 35:11Speaker 1: sight and it says reservations and you can never get
- 35:15Speaker 1: an early reservation. It's always late. Restaurants do that purposely too,
- 35:19Speaker 1: because if you go in person and talk to them
- 35:21Speaker 1: they can you can hear more apt to get a reservation.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I did that last night at Carbone. Went to Carbone
- 35:27Speaker 1: and got a reservation for next week, which is a
- 35:29Speaker 1: tough place to get into an area. What restaurants do
- 35:31Speaker 1: you like around town? What do you do? You keep
- 35:33Speaker 1: staring at Kelly in Vegas. I see what you're doing?
- 35:36Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, what surprises?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, no, there's your legs going up and down,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I see you, So go ahead with what we say.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Out for some restaurants in town. What do you do?
- 35:49Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot of good restaurants in the casinos,
- 35:52Speaker 2: a lot.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Of What do you like afterwards?
- 35:54Speaker 1: What do you do? What's your routine every day? Where
- 35:55Speaker 1: do you eat? Where do you go? Oh?
- 35:57Speaker 2: I just usually go to the casino restaurants the common
- 36:00Speaker 2: I will go outside. You know, there's a few I like, yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 2: right around I used to live around this area, so
- 36:07Speaker 2: there's a few around.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Here that I like to go to.
- 36:10Speaker 2: And I just can't think of their names off the
- 36:12Speaker 2: top of my head. But Lowry's I've been to.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Oh, Lowry's the primary rib. Yeah. Do you have any
- 36:16Speaker 1: good breakfast spots?
- 36:18Speaker 3: Not really.
- 36:19Speaker 1: The casinos aren't as good as they used to be.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Every casino used to have a breakfast eatery like you know,
- 36:24Speaker 1: you call it a coffee shop. You ask the kids
- 36:26Speaker 1: they able to coffee shop? Is those Starbucks right there?
- 36:29Speaker 1: A coffee shop like eatery like here? They have kids here.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Some of the cafes, Oh, of course, the South Point's
- 36:34Speaker 1: got a great one over there. Blueberries pretty good love Blueberryhill.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Blueberry Hill is a local joint. Great pancakes. I definitely
- 36:41Speaker 1: don't need them, but that's one of the best pancakes
- 36:43Speaker 1: in town. But yeah, so anyway, so park MGM is
- 36:47Speaker 1: going to have this room that they're gonna make a
- 36:51Speaker 1: video for you as you play, if you want to
- 36:56Speaker 1: make a video, high quality video. It's like when you
- 36:59Speaker 1: go down the roller coaster. You know, they they have
- 37:02Speaker 1: the video yourself going down the roller coaster. Same kind
- 37:05Speaker 1: of story here, video of you playing playing slots. And
- 37:11Speaker 1: my last thing with you is is this well meant
- 37:15Speaker 1: last thing? But Texas rated this card room, this poker
- 37:19Speaker 1: yea poke's room, and Doug Doug saying, don't worry, We're
- 37:23Speaker 1: gonna make everything right. And uh but yeah, so poker
- 37:26Speaker 1: is I thought was illegal to play poker to take
- 37:28Speaker 1: a break, and I guess it's not because the way
- 37:31Speaker 1: they word it is that correct.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I guess so from what I've heard, you know, gambling
- 37:36Speaker 2: for for some reason, Texans loved to gamble, but you
- 37:39Speaker 2: can gamble in that state for some reason.
- 37:41Speaker 1: What's right there goes Kelly in Vegas. Right there, guys,
- 37:44Speaker 1: he's moving and only looks like she's moving in. She's
- 37:47Speaker 1: moving in all right, Now, you can talk again without stuttering. Okay,
- 37:53Speaker 1: but no, so the the.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Texas card room again, she was stuttering.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Texas card room here was unbelievable that I got shut
- 38:03Speaker 1: down on people. There is some other rooms that are
- 38:06Speaker 1: still open to San Antonio and stuff, but they're you
- 38:08Speaker 1: know there. You have to do it the right way,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I guess. You can't take a raak. You have to
- 38:13Speaker 1: charge for a seat or some kind of a tip something.
- 38:17Speaker 1: There's ways to get around it with the law. But
- 38:21Speaker 1: they must have been doing something wrong or the government
- 38:24Speaker 1: or this agency thought they were doing something wrong.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Look how much money that must go out of Texas
- 38:31Speaker 2: to the neighboring states. They're Oklahoma, them casinos make a
- 38:35Speaker 2: fortune Fortunsiana absolutely, even down to Mississippi. Yeah, I mean
- 38:42Speaker 2: that makes them states rich because Texans can't gamble in
- 38:45Speaker 2: their states. So I just I've never understood that it
- 38:49Speaker 2: would be a great place to live if they had
- 38:52Speaker 2: full gambling in my opinion.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Randy, we talk about these parlays every week, the
- 38:56Speaker 1: wager Wire segment we have all right. You know, I
- 38:59Speaker 1: am a parlay person like you. However, if I could
- 39:02Speaker 1: bet overnight, they get it overnight and you know the
- 39:05Speaker 1: way lines are going to move, you could make some parlays.
- 39:07Speaker 1: But this is let me tell you why wager wire
- 39:09Speaker 1: is interesting because people are selling their tickets or a
- 39:12Speaker 1: portion of their tickets, and there's a lot of opportunity
- 39:17Speaker 1: for sharps to go in there. We're gonna talk about
- 39:20Speaker 1: this one. This is a three lag parlay that the
- 39:22Speaker 1: person bet twenty five dollars to win one thy twenty
- 39:25Speaker 1: five Oklahoma City. He already won that money line minus
- 39:30Speaker 1: two fifty. Now he's got Michigan to reach the final four,
- 39:33Speaker 1: which is now they're actually a favorite. They're like minus
- 39:36Speaker 1: won twenty or something to reach the Final four with
- 39:39Speaker 1: the Seattle Mariners to win the World Series. Twenty five
- 39:42Speaker 1: dollars to get one thousand and fifty. Now he won
- 39:46Speaker 1: the first part. Like I said that, the bet value
- 39:48Speaker 1: now is forty five dollars. And that's the reason why
- 39:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't cash out. If you're betting twenty five bucks,
- 39:54Speaker 1: you can afford to bet it. You don't want to
- 39:56Speaker 1: cash out and just barely double your money because Michigan,
- 39:59Speaker 1: now you're actually you know, I'll even say I pick
- 40:01Speaker 1: them or a favorite to get to the final four.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I would want to wait until that to get to
- 40:06Speaker 1: and then then you'll just need Seattle, which is still
- 40:10Speaker 1: you know, a fourteen to one you picked it, but
- 40:13Speaker 1: that happens, it becomes like a forty to one shot
- 40:17Speaker 1: with those other two winners in. It opens up a
- 40:20Speaker 1: lot of options to throughout the season. You can hedge,
- 40:22Speaker 1: you can get off some but anyway, I just we
- 40:27Speaker 1: talk about this a lot. Sometimes there's some really good
- 40:29Speaker 1: markets there wagerwire dot Com, wager wire app.
- 40:32Speaker 2: And I do think Michigan is a has a good
- 40:35Speaker 2: chance to make the final four.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I mean, of all the number.
- 40:37Speaker 2: One seeds, looking at who's gonna get upset, right, It's
- 40:42Speaker 2: gonna be a little tired in Iowa State could probably
- 40:45Speaker 2: do it if they match up.
- 40:46Speaker 3: But I think Duke kind of.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Got the bad end of the dry as far as
- 40:51Speaker 2: them being you know, they said they were the number
- 40:53Speaker 2: one overall, but they got a lot of spots where
- 40:56Speaker 2: they can get tripped up.
- 40:57Speaker 1: So maybe you you would actually, you know one thing
- 40:59Speaker 1: good about some of the sports books that you could
- 41:01Speaker 1: bet the yes and no, So you could bet the
- 41:03Speaker 1: yes and no on the different sportsbooks that a team
- 41:08Speaker 1: will make the that will win it all. So this morning,
- 41:13Speaker 1: I don't know that as the females, are the girls
- 41:15Speaker 1: still going? Do you follow the female basketball or not
- 41:19Speaker 1: really follow the girls because a little bit someone this
- 41:24Speaker 1: morning told me that the girls to win it all,
- 41:28Speaker 1: you know, the favorites, you know, you know what. I
- 41:31Speaker 1: think it went off already though, so there's no reason
- 41:33Speaker 1: to give that out. But you oh, no, you can
- 41:35Speaker 1: there it is so ukon to win it all. The No.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Plus two twenty five was it was a pretty sharp
- 41:41Speaker 1: bet someone gave me. It doesn't start till March twentieth,
- 41:44Speaker 1: so you guys, maybe that that's a bet someone gave
- 41:46Speaker 1: me that they told me. But going over to the
- 41:49Speaker 1: basketball and the turn of odds to win and yes,
- 41:52Speaker 1: no on each team, which like to give you a
- 41:54Speaker 1: perfect example, let's use Arizona. Arizona to No. Minus four
- 41:58Speaker 1: sixty the plush plus three sixty. Usually the nose are
- 42:02Speaker 1: the right way to go on these type of bets,
- 42:04Speaker 1: because no one's gonna come in, you know and lay
- 42:06Speaker 1: you know, four hundred and fifty to one Alabama to
- 42:09Speaker 1: win law, They're gonna bet the plus one hundred and
- 42:11Speaker 1: twenty five to one. They're not gonna lay the four
- 42:13Speaker 1: but usually the nose are the right way to go here.
- 42:16Speaker 1: I mean, there's some free money here on some of these,
- 42:20Speaker 1: and sometimes the the odds back are laying thirteen and
- 42:24Speaker 1: a half to one on the know on Houston come
- 42:26Speaker 1: back only eight and a half to one, Like, some
- 42:28Speaker 1: of them are tough, the spreads in between, the markets
- 42:30Speaker 1: in between, but at least they offer no knowing.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, that's one of the few sportsbook that does that.
- 42:36Speaker 2: And of course, yeah, our fellow friend Fenneck there, he
- 42:40Speaker 2: Steven Fennick.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, got a little trouble with Purdue one here.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Purdue. Yeah, you know, he's fighting his way back.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I think he got back charity units, but he's still
- 42:49Speaker 1: down two years. I think he's down down fifteen units
- 42:54Speaker 1: still after laying that forty five to one, and he's
- 42:59Speaker 1: betting those big favorite money lines. I don't I don't
- 43:01Speaker 1: really have to do that. I've never done it, have you, Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 1: I've never done it, And I mean, I'm sure a
- 43:07Speaker 1: lot of it's free money. But look what happened to here.
- 43:09Speaker 1: We're laying the forty five to one.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I laid three and a half to one on one
- 43:14Speaker 2: of my biggest bets in the Super Bowl, and I
- 43:16Speaker 2: still hesitant to.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Do it now.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Wow, okay when the women's.
- 43:20Speaker 3: That New England Patriots to have their perfect season. Oh yeah, okay,
- 43:25Speaker 3: only cost me a house.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Yeah wow, didn't you lose that much?
- 43:29Speaker 2: Well it was a house payment anyway, and decided not
- 43:33Speaker 2: to buy the house in Spanish.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Trails, so that really did cost you a house. Then
- 43:36Speaker 1: you're saying that basically, yeah, well, good Randy. We appreciate
- 43:40Speaker 1: having you on and appreciate the show today. And John's
- 43:43Speaker 1: not here. He's with someone somewhere. I don't know what
- 43:46Speaker 1: he's doing. I filled in okay for yeah you feel
- 43:49Speaker 1: you did good? You did good. Stuff shoulders the tough shoulders, guys.
- 43:53Speaker 1: We'll see you next week. On Wisecracks
