- 0:00SPEAKER_00: So what are spirits?
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: It's uh you know, energy can either be what destroyed or uh created.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: We don't I I don't know.
- 0:09SPEAKER_02: I don't know what they are.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Uh I personally, based on some of my my personal experience, do think there's a place where we go after we die, but I'm open to other options as to what it is.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: I heard one person saying I thought this is pretty insightful, when you die, your soul goes to heaven, but your spirit or your energy is what sticks stays behind.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Would that be it?
- 0:35SPEAKER_02: You know, haven't you had the heard the arguments on whether or not a residual haunt is actually a ghost?
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: Or is it just trapped energy that's playing itself over again?
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: So would it really be a ghost?
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you've ever heard those arguments.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I've heard that sometimes people's spirits go up to heaven, but their energy still, I mean, that's where you're getting the stone tape theory.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, I do believe in residual.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, you go to Gettysburg, I think there's a lot of residual energy there because so much energy was spilled blood there.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Um, people see spirits, soldiers walking in the field.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's they even know they're there.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: That's just their energy, that's just a tape plane of what happened.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: So, uh is that actually a ghost as we like to describe it though?
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: No, it's just energy.
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Okay, and I think that's one of the one of the other arguments that we have in our field that we've never come to consensus on.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: Orbs, one of my favorite orbs are foolish.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I agree with you.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Why do you gotta bring up orbs?
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I've gotten like three episodes without orbs being that well.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Now I broke it, didn't I?
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna say I'm I'm never gonna say 100% of the time because I've learned in my old age that you never say never.
- 1:53SPEAKER_02: But I'm gonna say 95 to 97 percent of orbs are dust, bugs, or moisture.
- 1:58SPEAKER_02: I go 99.9.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'll give you that.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: But there are some people that feel exactly there's people on our own team, uh, Jill, if you're listening.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: Uh and she should be laughing about that.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: Um, that are very animate that they're there that it's energy.
- 2:16SPEAKER_02: But going around circle to where we were before, we got to start coming to some kind of consensus on this.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: Doesn't mean you have to not believe it or definitely believe it, but we got to come down to consensus that's willing to be acceptable to the vast majority of us, and and I think you always gotta leave uh um, for example, if you see an orb yourself, you know, if you visually see an orb, I think that has a lot more credibility than one you see in a photograph or or a film, right?
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Okay, I mean you're right though.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, orbs, I mean I've seen people put orbs out there saying, oh, it's an orb, it's energy.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: I I see the wings flapping, you know, you zoom in and you see the wings flapping.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: No, that's a bug.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: But I'm not gonna say that not all orbs are not energy because I believe there are, because energy is energy.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Energy doesn't die.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: So it is possible.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: The thing with orbs is there's way too many other factors that it could be.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: Agreed.
- 3:23SPEAKER_03: Agreed.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So I mean that's I mean, I'm a little different.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Orbs, mediums, you know, a lot of stuff out there.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: I don't I believe they're real.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: I believe majority.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: You got discredit.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: But we can't discredit everything.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Or we're gonna get nowhere.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: Like you said, orbs, everything, evidence.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: There's people out there that just want you know, say everything is evidence or everything is discredited.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Like, where do we we have to have a line saying okay, now that was a bug, okay?
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: That's an orb, that's pretty cool.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Like, if we discredit every single orb, are we really getting closer to the answer?
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: No, but have we also come up with yet, and I do not know the answer to this.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: So, if anybody out there goes crazy hearing this, I don't know that we're ever going to be able to do this same thing with psychosis.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: If there's got to be a way we can create a method, a piece of equipment that can prove or disprove some of this stuff, or at least link it.
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: And we've got to get some minds that are much, much brighter than mine will ever be to maybe start coming up with methodologies or even equipment that can test some of this.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: How can we, when we get a picture of an orb, how can we determine what it is exactly?
- 4:44SPEAKER_02: Obviously, it's got wings or something, or you know, that's different.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: But it but Larry, I also see in today's age, with all the AI going on, it's gonna get even diff more difficult to debunk pictures, videos, and things of that nature.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, go ahead.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: I think that goes both ways, though.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: I think AI is gonna help.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: But I think, like you said, it's gonna be harder.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: I think it'll hurt worse than it'll help, but it will help in the long run.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't know that I don't know that I'm with you on that one because I don't trust people.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: It's the old cop and me coming out.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: There's too many people out there that want to use it to uh to their own benefit, to skew the the the charts, if you will, that'll help themselves or hurt other people.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: And so I think I and maybe I just don't know enough about AI yet, but I just think AI has done so much to hurt the field right now.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: It will.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's gonna be a small percentage, and like anything in life, it's gonna take a hurting before it gets better, right?
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: And that's the way life is.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's everything is.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: But you talked about one thing, Larry, is we need a piece of equipment.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Uh I told you before a show I don't like talking, but you got me going, so here we go.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: So you need a one piece of equipment to help us solve the answers.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: We have that, it's us.
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: Okay, you can't quantify it though, is the problem.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: 20 years well, 15 years ago, how many paranormal investigators were there that were serious?
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Not a whole lot.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: So what are we who are we talking to right now in the spirit world?
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: 20 years from now, you have thousands, millions of paranormal investigators that are gonna know how that have passed on, they're gonna know how to communicate with the living.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I think right now we're the best equipment because we're trying to learn now that when we pass on, we will know how to communicate and what the new generation of paranormal investigators are looking for.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: I agree, but until we get to the point where we actually start sharing and collaborating with each other and not being a bunch of one man shows for Latin or person shows, sorry.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Um what do you say?
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: I know, I know, until we get to the point where we start collaborating.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: I'm a big believer in structure and standards in the field.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that is the only like cops.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: You you know, you were a cop, you went to the academy, you know, and uh one of the things I like to say is if you uh if you have a homicide up in Perry, Ohio, and we are we have a homicide down in Vero Beach, there are some differences in state law and some procedures, and certainly interrogation or interview techniques of the investigator, all different stuff, but you still will investigate a homicide in Perry, generally the same way we would investigate it here in Vero Beach.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Because we have standards, we have structure that we've all learned until we can get to that point in our community, so that we're all pretty much writing on the same page.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: There's no we're not gonna be able to collaborate on this evidence the way we need to to come up with the answer.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: So the problem I agree with what you're saying with the experience and passing it down, but we got to stop with the ego and start sharing and collaborating a whole lot more.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: And there's people out there that want to do it, it certainly isn't everybody, but um, that's just my opinion for whatever it's worth.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: But history as it goes, we're selfish.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, that that's never gonna happen.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: The only thing that can happen is people like us who want to collaborate and want to share, there's gonna be a small percentage, and that's what small percentage that matters.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: But like I said before, all the percent the hundred percent matters because it all drives something different.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: So even the people like people mention Sam and Colby all the time, right?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: They you know they're famous, they're out there, they're entertainers, they like to investigate, but they're entertainers.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: But do they drive other people to investigate?
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: Yes, so those young kids that are investigating because of Sam and Colby could be the answer.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: Well, and that's and that's I totally I totally agree that one of those things just pop up there.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: What do you think, Spanky?
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: What he was just talking about.
- 9:28SPEAKER_03: My I can collaborate with my grandkids, they watch them now.
- 9:34SPEAKER_03: They want to investigate, and one of them and my one granddaughter did come with us, and uh she did pretty good with Larry.
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: We were at a at a house, and uh her being there brought out things that probably wouldn't have come out with just us adults there, right?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: So it was interesting, but she's 13 years old, so so I mean, Spanky, I mean you're close to your grandkids, so I mean when you pass on and you come down and talk to your grandkids saying, This is what I found out, that's what I'm saying.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: As we pass on, the new generation, we know how to communicate better, right?
- 10:17SPEAKER_03: You're talking from the other side, you're talking from the other side.
- 10:21SPEAKER_03: Ah, okay, okay, okay, okay, all right.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: I see where you're coming from.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: The full circle, yeah.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, yeah.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: That makes that makes more sense.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: I I let's hope that's the case.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because I want to I want to actually haunt the hell out of my brother Tom.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: So I'm kind of hoping that that happens.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Oh, we we all we all have a list.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: Come on, you know, yeah, yeah.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: All right, let's get in a couple things.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, spanky dowsing rods.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: So I mean I love dowsing rods, that's how I started too.
- 10:58SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: But the issue is I only trust myself doing dowsing rods.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Because when you put human interference into something, it's hard to trust someone else.
- 11:12SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 11:13SPEAKER_03: I mean, so and with that being said, when I when when I'm trying to teach somebody else to use them, I the first thing I tell them, you gotta be true to yourself.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: If you're using them and your hands are twitching, or you move it, you gotta say, I moved it.
- 11:35SPEAKER_03: Not that the spirits did it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: And and you've seen and and you can see me on on video where I said, no, that was me.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: That wasn't the answer, that was me.
- 11:45SPEAKER_03: Let me reset and I'll reset and start over.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: Um, the biggest thing is being true to yourself now to believe others.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: Um there's times where I've watched and I can tell when somebody's tilting a hand one way or another, and go, nope, nope, it's hard for me to trust you.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: Just like a medium, like we earlier we were talking about.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 12:13SPEAKER_03: Um, but then there's some I I I believe them when they're using them.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: I'm very comfortable with them.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: And and the funniest thing is uh we were doing a place in in Vero Beach, old house, pineapple plantation, and we're out in the yard, and we're we were walking towards the back of the property, and one of the ladies was using the rods, and they kept crossing, and then they'd open up and cross, open up.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: So we turned around and I walked over to the caretaker and I said, You got a sprinkler system?
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: He goes, Yeah, it runs right there.
- 12:52SPEAKER_03: He was getting the sprinkler system, and we knew exactly where it was.
- 12:57SPEAKER_03: And then later on in the night, we were getting we were talking to him uh spirits up in the attic area, and the rods were working real well as long and and the portal and everything else, and we had a good session up there, and we got information that we were able to go back and ask the caretaker questions who had the ladies' diary, yes, yes, yes, and the answers we got were actually in the diary, we wouldn't have known.
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: There was no way of us knowing, and they were actually in the diary, which is uh I mean, how do you explain it?
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: You can't.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I think dives and rods are a great tool, but again, you gotta it's a good start.
- 13:47SPEAKER_03: That that for me, it's a starting point to get the communication going with the other side.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: That's what I use it for.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: And he does a fantastic job with them.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and there's certain people.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: I had one friend that used them at Trans Allegheny.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: I'll tell the story real quick.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: We were in the bathroom, some dude got stabbed there 40 times because he was called uh the F-word, you know, in the field.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: So the guy went over and stabbed the guy that called him the F word.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: So my buddy, who never used dowsing rods before, was in the bathroom holding them, and my daughter was there, and we're like, Do you like girls?
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: And point to the girl, and it moved over.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: The left one moved over real slow toward him.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Yeah, sorry, I'm just like, you can do better than that.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: The one on the right flipped over, and you know, dowsing rods, you can't just stop them.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Swung fast as it could and just stopped right at my daughter.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: He dropped them.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: That was two years ago, and I'll still ask him, you can do dowsing rods.
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: He's like, Hell no, never touch them again.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: I got a question for you, Ryan.
- 14:55SPEAKER_03: Uh, do you just use your dowsing rods for yes-no answers mostly?
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Um, I'll ask point certain situations or lead me somewhere.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: I haven't used them as much lately because I'm just I'm a recorder type of guy.
- 15:10SPEAKER_03: Okay, okay.
- 15:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I use them a lot for the yes-no answers, but I also use them for directional where they're located in the room because what I do is I I try to be respectable, respect the uh other side, and ask them to show me where you're at so I can face you properly when I'm asking you questions.
- 15:29SPEAKER_03: And a lot of times when we do that, Larry will come in with an SLS camera, and sure enough, he'll pick them up.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: I never even thought about that, but that makes sense.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Respect.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Give him give him a good example of that one, Spank, and you know where I'm talking about.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: Which one?
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: We've had a bar Miami.
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: Oh that just gave me chills, Larry.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: You gotta tell the story now, you gotta tell the story now.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: Presidential car, there's a train.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: There's a train museum down in Miami, Gold Coast Train Museum, and they have this presidential car there.
- 16:10SPEAKER_03: And I was doing dowzen rods, and Larry was go ahead, Larry.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, no, I'm gonna have you tell the story, but I want to give give uh a good background here.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: One of the cars they have there was built in the 40s by the Secret Service for President Roosevelt, and it was how he got across the country.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: It was the original Air Force One, if you want to think of it that way.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: And after Roosevelt used it, and then Truman used it, Eisenhower used it, it sat idle until Ronald Reagan used it in 1984 for his um cross-country re-election campaign.
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: So the only and this thing is heavy.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: When we had the 04 hurricane or the hurricanes in in um hurricane Andrew, whatever year that was, the entire place was destroyed.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: But this car is so heavy because it's so armored, stayed right where it was when everything else fell apart.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: So that's it's an armored car and it sits there.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: The only people that have used it Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, and then Reagan for his cross-country re-election, and it sits there as part of their display.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: And we were in it, and I'll let you take it from here, Spike.
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: And we were doing dowzen rods, and was we doing uh we were doing the ghost box too.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: We were doing we were doing the go, yes, we're gonna doing the ghost box, but it was the rods and the SLS that really yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_03: Uh I point I asked asked to point to where you were at in the room because we were asking questions.
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna tell them who it is yet.
- 17:43SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: Uh and I pointed to this section, and Larry took the SLS camera, and sure enough, that's where he was sitting.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: Well, no, that wasn't SLS.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: The can't the D the uh the rods pointed to the chair, yeah, and then you asked of his wife, since you don't want to get over.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: Is your wife here too?
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: And you asked the wife's name, and it pointed the chairs right across the way.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: Then I brought the SLS camera because it was uh Shelly that was using the rods.
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: Okay, okay.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: And it it was one of those times where you just can't believe who you're talking to.
- 18:23SPEAKER_03: We were under the impression we were talking to President Reagan and his wife.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: And I'll let Larry take it from there because that it was it was free.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: Spanky was asking a lot of the questions.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: I've had he said, Larry, go get the SLS camera, which I did.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: I brought it in there, and like I said, we we were sitting there, and uh Shelly, one of our teammates.
- 18:45SPEAKER_02: In fact, you I think you talked to Shelly Ryan.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: Um, she's sitting there and and she's holding the rods, and Spanky's asking the questions.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: You know, we went through this president.
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: First of all, we went to are you a member of the staff here?
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: No, are you a member of the presidential staff?
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: No.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Um, are you a president?
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: Are you president Roosevelt?
- 19:04SPEAKER_02: No.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: Eisenhower, no, or Truman, no, Eisenhower, no, President Reagan, it went, yes.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: So we start talking, and he said, Spanki says, Can you show us where you're sitting?
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: And the rods very, very smoothly went right to the chair in that part of the uh car.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: Ask a few more questions.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: Spanky asks, you know, Mrs.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: Reagan, Nancy, are you here?
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: Yes, where are you sitting?
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: Rods go right over here.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: At this point, I go get the um uh SLS camera and I get there.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: Now she is sitting up against a flat wall.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: There's nothing on it that it can map, it's flat.
- 19:41SPEAKER_02: But a stick figure appears, and we ask her the this figure to to move, and it does.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: And we ask it to reach down and touch Shelly, which it does.
- 19:51SPEAKER_02: And then Spanky says, Larry, and because he's watching the camera, her earrings moving, and sure enough, as we look closer, she Shelly's wearing two dangling earrings.
- 20:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the left one's going back and forth, right where the hand of the stick figure was.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: Now, I'm I'm just telling you what happened.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: The other earring wasn't moving a bit.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: Now, think about that for a second.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: If she's moving her head, they're both moving one stationary, one going back and forth, right where the stick figure's hand was.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: Just telling you what happened.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Go ahead, Smack.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: What were you gonna say?
- 20:26SPEAKER_03: No, that that that was the the whole place, and we went into a medical car and a couple other cars, and and also we we break the our team up into groups, two groups usually, maybe three, depending on the venue.
- 20:44SPEAKER_03: We broke it up into two groups that night, and there were three ladies in that car when we weren't in there, and they were sitting on the floor because you can't sit on any of the furniture or anything like that.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: So they were sitting on the floor.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: The they said the floor actually it felt like the train was moving, vibrating.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was vibrating.
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: There was nothing around that car is so heavy, it's not moving, right?
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: And they said it felt like it was moving, and we heard from the folks there that other investigators have had that same reaction, so it was kind of cool, but the uh the uh rods and the SLS camera particularly interesting in that in that case, and and and to be fair with you, Ryan.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: Not every investigation's a success.
- 21:33SPEAKER_03: No, we did we did one of the most popular places here in Florida, the lighthouse in St.
- 21:40SPEAKER_03: Augustine.
- 21:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we had it for our team for the whole night.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
- 21:46SPEAKER_03: Well, the whole grounds, the whole grounds, whole grounds, everywhere.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: The the the what's it called?
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: The the station, the the the the the house, this the uh lightkeeper's house, the lightkeeper, the lighthouse itself.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: All the grounds, all the property on there.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: We went up in the White House.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: We did we had equipment everywhere trying to get anything.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: What a bust.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: Now we've been there before it had things.
- 22:16SPEAKER_03: I was just gonna say now, individually, we've been to these places and we've gotten things, but that night they just not want, just did not want to communicate, or we didn't, and one of the things too, I think, too, with with teams and and people in general, um, you have to have a positive energy going into these events.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 22:41SPEAKER_03: How do you feel about that, Ryan?
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: I'm all about positive energy.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: That is what protects me, my faith and positive energy.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: I tell everybody if you go in with negative energy, you may not get anything.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: And if you do get something, it's probably not gonna be good.
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: We do a prayer of protection at the beginning of each investigation and a prayer again before we leave.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: All right, I got someone asked a question.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: I want to get this in.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: It's Kyla Sanders.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: I work with her, so I'll pop this up real quick.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: Since you guys are a big group and have done this for a long time, maybe you can answer this.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: What would you suggest this?
- 23:24SPEAKER_03: Ah, okay.
- 23:29SPEAKER_03: Very good question.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: You want to take it, Svank?
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: I'll let you go first.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: All right, okay.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: For starters, um, read and listen.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: Do not watch a couple of TV shows and just start going out and doing it because you need to do some study.
- 23:48SPEAKER_02: There's plenty of books out there that you can read.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: There's there's stuff on even YouTube you can look at.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: Uh, so when you start out new, make sure you have some knowledge.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: One of the biggest problems I've seen with investigators is they get all the equipment with the fancy lights and it makes all the cool noises, and they don't have a clue how it works or why it works or what the the theories are behind it.
- 24:10SPEAKER_02: Know your equipment, understand how it works, what they can and what they cannot do.
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: Second thing of all, uh don't get too excited with yourself.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: Don't you know just kind of relax.
- 24:24SPEAKER_02: Now, how do you find a different group?
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: I ran the police academy in this region for a number of years, and what I would tell my recruits is you find an agency that fits your personality.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: No different here.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: Uh, if you're an individual that absolutely believes in one thing and you get into a group that most of them have a totally different philosophy, you will not find satisfaction, happiness, and you might even just say the heck with it all.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: So you know, check with some teams that that are looking for members, and I'll get to that part of it in a second, and then talk with them a little bit, maybe go on some investigations with them.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: Most of the folks on my team I've gotten to know because they've come to our events.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: Spanky's a great example of that.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: Uh, some events I was doing, and almost everybody on my team know me from either tours or events.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Yes, ma'am.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: Except for one, Shelly.
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: Oh, Shelly.
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's right.
- 25:21SPEAKER_03: How we met Shelly is she's she has a local business where I live.
- 25:27SPEAKER_03: I live in, I actually live in Okeechobee, Florida, right at the top of the lake.
- 25:33SPEAKER_03: And I went to her business because I had to get glasses.
- 25:37SPEAKER_03: And I walked in one day and the hair just rose up on my arms.
- 25:43SPEAKER_03: I'm like, what the heck is going on here?
- 25:46SPEAKER_03: And I had been going there a few years, and I asked asked uh her mom, who works there also and owns the place.
- 25:55SPEAKER_03: I said, Have you ever had anything strange happen here?
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: She goes, What are you talking about?
- 26:01SPEAKER_03: I said, just hair rose up on my arms.
- 26:05SPEAKER_03: She goes, Oh yeah, and then she just started telling me these stories and everything.
- 26:11SPEAKER_03: And her husband had just passed too.
- 26:14SPEAKER_03: And so I got talking to Shelly, and next thing you know, we're investigating the place.
- 26:20SPEAKER_03: So we investigated.
- 26:22SPEAKER_03: She seemed in you know, interested in our team in the in the field, and we did a couple of uh more uh sites or events or whatever you want to call them, and she fit the team, so she joined our team, and that's how that worked out because of personality fit.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: So I forget the young lady that we're answering for.
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: Find a group that has a similar belief or outlook that that you do now.
- 26:53SPEAKER_02: How do you find these teams?
- 26:55SPEAKER_02: Tough.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: A lot of teams are uh very clannish.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: Um, some just don't have enough openings.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: Like right now, we don't have any openings on our team because we want to keep ours at a certain size, but be persistent, you know, find a group that does maybe some public events and go to their event, uh, get to know them, get talking to them.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: Um, maybe ask them, hey, do you have guest investigators come along?
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: I'd just like to see what it's like.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: If they're a good group and a group that is really open, they'll probably eight times out of ten, they'll say, Yeah, we we'll see what we can do, and they'll bring you on as a guest, maybe.
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: Do that with a couple of groups if you're able to, and then uh just wait, wait for an opening and tell that let them know you're interested.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: But it's tough to find them.
- 27:41SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm gonna be up front with you too.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of people that have tried to get with our group that um, well, for starters, if you've got a a background that is a little bit unsavory, we're not, you know, I'm not I'm not gonna bring you into the group because I've got retire other retired cops and stuff on my team, and we're very we're we're kind of particular in that sense, but we're willing to listen, and that's what you got to find is somebody that fits your personality, is opening, open to having other folks come in, and the only way to do that is to keep trying, just keep plugging.
- 28:16SPEAKER_03: So yeah, and and if you do any of the for any of the uh tours or anything like that, study, study and listen to see how the people that are running it, yeah, good question how how they're how they're coming across to you.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: And that that might lead to an opening for you.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, I agree with you.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's okay to have difference opinions in a group.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's good to have little difference opinions in a group.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: Or observe.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: I mean, my my group is about seven people right now.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, usually I go out by myself with other groups.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: That's just a way, because I said life happens.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: But they also know I'm very it's my group, so I'm pretty strict.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: You know, I have a couple rules.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: You know, fake evidence.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, I know drama.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: I I hate drama.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Any of those, I'm not I'm not a baseball team.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: One striker out, especially if you fake evidence.
- 29:26SPEAKER_00: I don't really care.
- 29:28SPEAKER_02: There are all the two there.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, you just go out there again, just like friends, just like when you're a kid trying to pick a college, you go there, you get a feeling, you're gonna know right away if it's right fit or not.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: You just go out there, but just don't jump into it because you want to you want to you want to get into some find a group that fits your personnel.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because if you jump right in, it could ruin your whole experience and you never want to do it again.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: And with social media now, the last thing you want to know have is have your name dragged through mode for no reason at all.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: So um Kayla's actually going out with us on her investment.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: Uh might be her first investigation.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: Madison Seminary coming up in November.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: So it'll be fun.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: But good luck.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: That's what my group does.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: My group was based off giving people the experience, you know, because you watch on TV.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying I'm an expert because none of us are experts, but I've done investigations.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: You see, you said there were experts.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: I heard you earlier.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: I'm just kidding.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm not an expert.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: There are experts often.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: I'm just not an expert.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: I'm just kidding with you.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: I'm playing with you.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: I have the equipment, I've done it before, so I invite new people out to MAS seminary.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: We do investigations.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: We bring gifts fairly often on our team, too.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Um, um, she says she's done tours but not investigations before.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Super super excited to check it out.
- 30:59SPEAKER_00: All right, so spirits, let's talk about a lot of people that have not done investigations before, new people, they watch TV, they're scared.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: I believe 95% of spirits, probably a higher percentage, are just spirits that want to communicate.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: They're not evil, they're not demonic.
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: I hate that word.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: Um, you're never gonna go to a pay-to-pay place to find demonic entity.
- 31:21SPEAKER_00: Um, that's my theory, because demonic entities have to break you down, and with new people going there every day, they're not gonna sit there and try to break every single one down.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: It takes months to break you down.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: So, demonic, no assholes, yes.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: You will find asshole spirits.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's that's common.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Spanky knows there are asshole spirits out there.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: Um, you are a spirit the way you were in real life.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: Yep, you're in trouble spanking, you're in trouble.
- 31:49SPEAKER_03: We got we have one at one specific venue that we use for dinner and ghost hunt.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: Uh, he doesn't like ladies behind the bar, so he likes to pull hair.
- 32:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's done that what four or five times at least, Larry.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:09SPEAKER_03: He's something else, and I'll cuss you out in a minute.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: Can I ask you a question, Ryan?
- 32:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Do you believe that venues?
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: Let's just say you said you went to uh Trans Allegheny, you've you've investigated there, big well-known place, lots of groups want to go there.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: Do you believe places like that, for lack of a better term, can be fished out?
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: You know, that's a topic that's been brought up, and I've my mind has been changing because a lot of people say there's it's been fished out way too many people.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: But what do we bring into every location that we go to?
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: Energy.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: So is it possible that we're bringing more energy energy into those places?
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: Now, I have Madison Seminary down the road.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: That's the only haunted location that gets investigated around.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: Now, if you are a spirit next door to me and you want to be heard, where are you gonna go?
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Madison Seminary.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: So, are they going to these places to be heard?
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Because spirits want to be communic communicate.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: So, is it possible that they know that that's the hot spot where people are asking questions?
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: That's why spirits always change at these locations because they just want to be.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: They are transitory, they are transitory, yeah.
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, trans alligating, I love trans alligating, that's one of my favorite places to investigate.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: I've been there twice, but I mean, it's just unbelievable atmosphere.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: Owners do a great job.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Do you think that the spirits there?
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: And I hear what you're saying about the energy, but do you think that the possibility exists that they're like, Again, I really don't want to talk to you guys tonight?
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: And because all the same stupid questions, yeah.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, you get sick of it.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: If I just came into your house every day and said, What's your name?
- 34:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, would you boot me if would you would you boot me out?
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, or would you get pissed?
- 34:16SPEAKER_02: All that too.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: Now that we think that's what basically was happening at the the um uh lighthouse in St.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: Augustine on that cold for us, it was cold.
- 34:25SPEAKER_02: What was about 35 40 degrees?
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: 28?
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: Hey, cool.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: That's short weather still.
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: Oh for us Florida boys and girls, anyway.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: We think that's what happened there that night.
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: And I I've I've often wondered if sometimes, because I don't believe if it is truly spirits that are on the other side, they're not circus animals that come out on our command.
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're they they're not gonna perform because we're telling them to, and I think sometimes they just say, I'm not interested.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, look at this.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, how many times?
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: I mean, it doesn't happen often, but does when you get a phone call and you recognize the name, you know, I just don't feel like talking today.
- 35:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: Spanky does that to me all the time.
- 35:14SPEAKER_02: I knew that more he says he's gotta do is he can't talk, he's gotta wash his hair or something.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, it also depends who's going in there and investigate, too.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: What energy are you bringing into?
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: And the positive that's where the positive comes in your talk, yeah.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: And also, I'm a big believer in women versus men, too.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: You know, when we're not getting great results, I'll split the women and men up because some places women get more interaction than men do, and vice versa.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: So if we're not getting a lot of stuff as a group, I'll send two women up to the attic.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: Hey, go see what you can get.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: And they get a lot more because some spirits are like, hey, ladies, let's go.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: Or oh man, it's these dudes again.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go hide in this you know room over here.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: I don't want to talk to them.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: So I think you got you know, at any investigation, you gotta keep trying different stuff to see what happens.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: And I think it comes down to just being able to have a conversation with the person just like we're having here.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: Right, you need to just be introduce yourself like we do, we always introduce ourselves and just talk, not this this question, this question, this question, you know, have them uh uh script going, just just try to have a conversation with them, right?
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: And it seems like it plays out better that way.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: What we've been doing lately.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, the last I've been doing this a while now, but for the last like six, eight months is don't talk to the spirits.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: If you have a group, talk about how it would be living in that place at that time as a group.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: You're not asking questions, be like, hey dude, I mean, I could not believe they lived here.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: Like it kind of been cool, you know, back in the 1950s, and you know, just have a conversation.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: How would it be living there as you?
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: And it seems to get a lot more responses off the equipment that way.
- 37:20SPEAKER_03: That's and we've done done that to a point, a little bit.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I like that idea.
- 37:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that's a cool idea.
