- 0:00Speaker 1: On Verb, on News Radio 570, WKBN. All right, back
- 0:05Speaker 1: to it. This ought to be interesting. Bubba Ganoush thinks
- 0:09Speaker 1: that he has an understanding of Trump, and we don't.
- 0:12Speaker 1: So he's going to try to explain to us with
- 0:16Speaker 1: his deep insight. Go ahead.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Okay, first of all, he's speaking at Spires. You know
- 0:21Speaker 2: that set up in Lake Erie? Lake Erie College? Spires?
- 0:26Speaker 2: You know where they teach running up there? No. Yeah,
- 0:30Speaker 2: he's going to be up there. Just to let you know. Secondly,
- 0:36Speaker 2: let me get everybody to understand something. I know the
- 0:39Speaker 2: one guy says he's kicking the ball with one leg.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Let me explain something to you. He's got three different
- 0:46Speaker 2: avenues that he's hitting them. One is trade. Two is
- 0:51Speaker 2: finances with Scott Besson. And three, he's got all our
- 0:55Speaker 2: military ready to attack. Now, If you're choking him out
- 1:02Speaker 2: of $ 450 million a day in revenue, they're starving. What
- 1:10Speaker 2: do you call it? Inflation is like 88%, okay? And
- 1:17Speaker 2: it's not going to last. I mean, they can't survive
- 1:20Speaker 2: for long, okay? Now, I heard that on the news.
- 1:26Speaker 2: The other thing is, So you've got three different avenues
- 1:29Speaker 2: you're hitting. Okay. So why would you expel any equipment
- 1:34Speaker 2: or military or bombs if you're choking them financially right
- 1:39Speaker 2: now until they start screaming, you know, surrender or whatever?
- 1:45Speaker 2: You know how they say when you have somebody down and,
- 1:51Speaker 2: you know, they surrender, they say something, I forget. But anyhow,
- 1:54Speaker 2: the point is wrong. is that he has three different
- 1:57Speaker 2: avenues he's hitting them with. Now, that's why he's not
- 2:01Speaker 2: in a rush, okay, because the longer this financial hole
- 2:06Speaker 2: goes on him, the poorer they get, okay? Now, he's affecting,
- 2:12Speaker 2: because of that, he can't get oil to China, he
- 2:14Speaker 2: can't get oil to Russia, he can't get oil to
- 2:17Speaker 2: his proxies, and he can't get money to his proxies.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So now he's saving other areas from being hit. So
- 2:26Speaker 2: I wish people would understand his thinking, his logic. It's very,
- 2:31Speaker 2: very well done. I love this guy. See, I look
- 2:34Speaker 2: at everything. Now, my family's from that region, okay? We
- 2:39Speaker 2: are Maronite Catholic. Oh, you remember St. Mary's with the
- 2:42Speaker 2: Baba Ganoush, right? And the point is that our family's
- 2:49Speaker 2: seen persecution since the early 70s from Islam, okay? And
- 2:54Speaker 2: by the way, you can't make a deal with them,
- 2:57Speaker 2: because if you read the Koran, they will not hold,
- 3:01Speaker 2: honor a deal unless you're, if you're an infidel. An
- 3:05Speaker 2: infidel could be a Jew or Christian. It doesn't matter.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You have to be Muslim to hold an agreement. Like
- 3:12Speaker 2: if I write an agreement between Ron and me, or
- 3:14Speaker 2: you and me, about something, about cutting my lawn, you
- 3:19Speaker 2: don't have to honor it, because I'm not Islamic. This
- 3:23Speaker 2: is how they think. Now, for, I don't know, 1,600 years,
- 3:30Speaker 2: they do everything, and they will kill their people. They
- 3:33Speaker 2: will do everything to win, okay? And because they know
- 3:37Speaker 2: if they win, the imam can come down and bless them.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's like people saying, like, God comes down. So understand
- 3:47Speaker 2: that what he's doing, he's choking them out. He has
- 3:50Speaker 2: to do this. So that we have peace in the
- 3:53Speaker 2: Middle East. Now, these other countries got together. Three countries
- 3:57Speaker 2: got together to make a team to try to hold this.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And that's what he's trying to do. He's trying to
- 4:02Speaker 2: generate countries to come together to police these people so
- 4:06Speaker 2: we don't need our bases there. Okay? And we don't
- 4:09Speaker 2: need our people there. He doesn't want none of our
- 4:11Speaker 2: people dying. So this is the thinking, Ron. Did you
- 4:15Speaker 2: get it? Or did you hang up on me?
- 4:18Speaker 1: I hung up on you.
- 4:20Speaker 2: No, you didn't. Oh. Did you get what I was saying?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I listened to it. It doesn't mean I agree
- 4:25Speaker 1: with it. I listened to it.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Okay, okay. Now, on the gas..
- 4:29Speaker 1: I mean, it's... I can sit back and listen.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Well, let me say something on the gas.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:37Speaker 2: These people need to show compassionate conservatism.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Okay?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Like Bush used to say, compassionate conservative. There was a
- 4:47Speaker 2: book I read about it. And these people need to...
- 4:51Speaker 2: We have plenty light oil, you know, like you say,
- 4:54Speaker 2: sweet oil, you know what I mean, to make gas
- 4:56Speaker 2: for our cars here. Okay, but we don't have a
- 4:59Speaker 2: lot of heavy oil, which we do get from Venezuela.
- 5:02Speaker 2: That makes diesel fuel and diesel for the truck, okay?
- 5:08Speaker 2: So these companies need to get a grip, and they
- 5:12Speaker 2: need to bring the prices down because..
- 5:18Speaker 1: With all due respect, I've heard enough of this. What
- 5:22Speaker 1: you're saying isn't a reality. I mean, it's just not
- 5:26Speaker 1: a reality. First and foremost, refineries deal with heavy crude,
- 5:29Speaker 1: not light crude. That's what the problem is. That's what
- 5:32Speaker 1: they were designed for. So it's not just like we
- 5:35Speaker 1: flick a switch and the problem is solved. So that's
- 5:39Speaker 1: why we still import oil because we need heavy crude.
- 5:42Speaker 1: You get that from Canada, you get that from Russia,
- 5:46Speaker 1: and you get that from the Middle East. Okay, and Venezuela.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But you got 30 million less barrels of oil because
- 5:55Speaker 1: of the strait being closed. So listen, you got a
- 5:58Speaker 1: major shortfall of oil. We've been running on depleting our
- 6:03Speaker 1: reserves as China's done, the United States has done. So
- 6:09Speaker 1: what we've done is we've been living on the reserves. Well,
- 6:12Speaker 1: as the oil guys that follow this, not me giving
- 6:16Speaker 1: an opinion or what my beliefs or thoughts are, I
- 6:19Speaker 1: don't follow it. I learn more about oil than I
- 6:21Speaker 1: ever dreamed I would ever learn between heavy crude and
- 6:24Speaker 1: sweet crude and all this kind of stuff. So the
- 6:27Speaker 1: bottom line is there's a lot of nonsense going on.
- 6:31Speaker 1: As these oil guys say, you can say, well, this
- 6:35Speaker 1: is alcohol. Well, beer is alcohol. Jack Daniels is alcohol.
- 6:40Speaker 1: But they're not all the same. It's all alcohol, but
- 6:43Speaker 1: it's different. Well, the same thing applies to oil. But
- 6:46Speaker 1: people think, well, we got all this oil, but we
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't have refineries that can refine sweet crude. Now, knowing
- 6:53Speaker 1: that shipping, jet fuel, and diesel need heavy crude, and
- 7:00Speaker 1: apparently at some of these refineries, they mix the light
- 7:03Speaker 1: crude with the heavy crude, and somehow they make it function.
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm getting a grip on all of this kind of stuff.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So I go by these people that know what they're
- 7:13Speaker 1: talking about, and they're the ones that are saying what
- 7:18Speaker 1: you've been seeing from an oil standpoint has been diluted
- 7:22Speaker 1: by draining the reserves. Well, you can only do so
- 7:26Speaker 1: much of that before the crap hits the fan. Now,
- 7:30Speaker 1: these guys have been saying they thought this would be
- 7:33Speaker 1: happening around August, late July and August sometimes. It depends
- 7:38Speaker 1: how much more you want to drain out of your
- 7:40Speaker 1: strategic reserves. It all depends. If you want to drain it,
- 7:45Speaker 1: drain it down even more. So the bottom line is
- 7:50Speaker 1: that's when the crap will hit the fan. Now, they're saying,
- 7:53Speaker 1: not me, you can't take that much oil off the
- 7:56Speaker 1: market on a daily basis, and there wouldn't be ramifications
- 8:00Speaker 1: in the world market for the cost of oil, which
- 8:05Speaker 1: makes gasoline. So consequently, that's why you will see gas
- 8:10Speaker 1: prices go up. Why is it part of the world market?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Because oil is part of the world market. We're not
- 8:17Speaker 1: pumping anything. The oil is done by these companies that
- 8:21Speaker 1: go and drill for it. It's their oil that they
- 8:24Speaker 1: put on the world market that they sell. But that's
- 8:28Speaker 1: just the way it is. We need oil from Canada.
- 8:32Speaker 1: We need oil from Venezuela. You have Russia now, which
- 8:36Speaker 1: is not putting oil on, not sending out heavy crude,
- 8:40Speaker 1: or I forget what moves that they've recently made to
- 8:43Speaker 1: cut back on heavy crude leaving Russia or jet fuel.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I mean, so what you're seeing is inflation come as
- 8:51Speaker 1: a result of it. I don't know. Everything you get
- 8:55Speaker 1: comes on a truck. That uses diesel fuel. Farm tractors
- 8:59Speaker 1: use diesel fuel. Shipping uses a type of diesel fuel.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Jet airplanes use a different type of fuel. And it's
- 9:08Speaker 1: all costing way more. It's way more expensive. That's why
- 9:12Speaker 1: things are costing way more. And so these guys are
- 9:15Speaker 1: saying you're running out of out of oil. So I'm
- 9:18Speaker 1: not here to say I'm just here to say Trump's
- 9:21Speaker 1: in a mess. He is in a mess, and the
- 9:24Speaker 1: longer this goes on, it is going to be a
- 9:27Speaker 1: bigger mess that's going to get worse, is what these
- 9:30Speaker 1: guys are telling you that follow this stuff, that follow oil.
- 9:35Speaker 1: They say it's a mess now, and the longer this
- 9:38Speaker 1: goes on, it's going to be a bigger mess economically
- 9:42Speaker 1: with the price of gasoline, diesel, and oil. And you
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't think they're paying that.
- 9:49Speaker 4: For their profits?
- 9:51Speaker 1: These are guys that are oil analysts. They don't own
- 9:54Speaker 1: the oil companies. The oil companies are going to make
- 9:56Speaker 1: more money because they're selling it at a higher cost.
- 9:59Speaker 1: What do you want them to do? I mean, this
- 10:03Speaker 1: is the reality of this decision of the war with Iran.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I mean, this isn't about I'll say it a million
- 10:11Speaker 1: damn times. You know, I got some other goofy guy that,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you know, he's just a blind Trump supporter. He just
- 10:17Speaker 1: walks with these blinders on. And, you know, which reminds
- 10:21Speaker 1: me of when people did the same thing with Biden.
- 10:23Speaker 1: And he's just ridiculous with his emails. He doesn't deal
- 10:27Speaker 1: with reality. He's like oblivious to really what's going on
- 10:31Speaker 1: because he has an opinion. But we can all have
- 10:35Speaker 1: an opinion. Like I said yesterday, I can have an
- 10:37Speaker 1: opinion on global warming. It means nothing because in all reality,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm not a scientist. I can't say for certain there
- 10:44Speaker 1: is or there isn't. I really don't know. I don't
- 10:47Speaker 1: go up and look at the glaciers. I don't see
- 10:49Speaker 1: them melting. I don't follow this stuff. So we can
- 10:54Speaker 1: all have opinions, but there are ones that are more
- 10:57Speaker 1: informed opinions than other ones. So I look at what
- 11:00Speaker 1: are these people saying? What are these military people saying
- 11:04Speaker 1: that say, you know how far Iran is from the
- 11:06Speaker 1: United States? Do you know the geography of Iran and
- 11:10Speaker 1: how difficult it would ever be to put boots on
- 11:12Speaker 1: the ground and what a massacre it would be to
- 11:15Speaker 1: getting supplies over there and the problems that it would be?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Do you know that there's 93 million people over there?
- 11:21Speaker 1: And I get, you know, our oldest son did tour
- 11:26Speaker 1: after tour in the Middle East. And he said, you
- 11:30Speaker 1: don't understand. They don't think like you. It's time you
- 11:34Speaker 1: wake up when you think they want to be like you.
- 11:37Speaker 5: They don't.
- 11:38Speaker 1: They don't think like you. They don't have the same
- 11:40Speaker 1: religion as you. They hate you. And that's not going
- 11:44Speaker 1: to change. So this uprising that people are waiting for, well,
- 11:48Speaker 1: it doesn't seem to be happening. And they're in Iran saying,
- 11:53Speaker 1: we can wait this out. You want to bring us
- 11:56Speaker 1: economic devastation? We'll bring it to you. We hate you.
- 12:01Speaker 1: We'll wait it out. We'll endure the inflation in this.
- 12:05Speaker 1: And guess what? You're going to get a taste of it, too.
- 12:07Speaker 1: And then you're going to get a taste at the midterms.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It's not like they don't have a strategy to quote
- 12:14Speaker 1: Bush as well.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, they got the Democrats wrapped around their fingers.
- 12:18Speaker 1: You know, forget that. You don't see a lot of
- 12:21Speaker 1: opposition from the Democrats on this issue either, do you?
- 12:25Speaker 1: You don't see, I don't see Democrats out protesting the
- 12:28Speaker 1: war in the streets. I don't see any of that,
- 12:31Speaker 1: any of that stuff going on.
- 12:32Speaker 2: They're not protesting the war. They want Trump to go down.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Well, listen, when it comes to the war, it seems
- 12:38Speaker 1: to me this agenda that the Democrats and Republicans are
- 12:42Speaker 1: on the same agenda, whether that's lobbyist money or whatever,
- 12:45Speaker 1: because there's a lot of opposition. The only thing that's
- 12:48Speaker 1: going to bring Trump down is Trump. I realize that
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're this lover and I voted for him. I wouldn't
- 12:55Speaker 1: vote for Harris. I won't vote for Sherrod Brown. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: won't vote for a Democrat, but I'm not a damn cheerleader.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The only thing that's going to bring Trump down is Trump.
- 13:07Speaker 1: And if gas prices go to $ 4. 50 or $ 5 a gallon,
- 13:11Speaker 1: Trump's going to go down in the midterms because of
- 13:14Speaker 1: a decision that he made. No, I'm explaining something to you.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You are a cheerleader. You are a cheerleader of it.
- 13:22Speaker 2: No. No, I look at the facts.
- 13:25Speaker 1: What are the facts then? What are the facts that
- 13:27Speaker 1: I just told you? What's happening with oil?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Okay, I'm looking at the facts about the three ways
- 13:31Speaker 2: he's attacking us.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Now..
- 13:33Speaker 2: I want to mention one other thing about DSA. It's
- 13:37Speaker 2: not a fad like an earring or a tattoo. You
- 13:40Speaker 2: know how kids get earrings and tattoos? It's a fad.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It's not a fad.
- 13:45Speaker 1: What is it?
- 13:47Speaker 2: If they bring communism into this country, it'll destroy this country.
- 13:52Speaker 1: That goes without saying. That's a whole other topic. Enough.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Thanks for your call. You're on the air. Hello.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Good afternoon, Ron.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Hey, I've been trying to figure out something for a
- 14:05Speaker 5: little while, and maybe you can help me because you're
- 14:07Speaker 5: now designating yourself an oil expert.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm not an oil expert. I just read them.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Do you have other experts to call in and explain things?
- 14:20Speaker 5: Tell me this. What did it cost you per gallon.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Of gas under Obama when.
- 14:27Speaker 6: It was high?
- 14:30Speaker 1: I can't. I've been paying $ 4, $ 5, $ 3 a gallon.
- 14:39Speaker 1: So what? What difference does that make? Was I happy
- 14:42Speaker 1: about it?
- 14:43Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Yes, it does make a difference. I'm trying to get
- 14:45Speaker 5: to a point.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Under Obama, the price of oil was over $ 100 a
- 14:51Speaker 5: barrel for over 600 days.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Under Trump..
- 14:57Speaker 5: It has been over $ 100 a barrel for about 60
- 15:00Speaker 5: days back a few months ago. Right now, oil is
- 15:04Speaker 5: at $ 83 a barrel. At $ 83 a barrel, why is
- 15:05Speaker 5: gas $ 4.
- 15:05Speaker 1: 50 a gallon?
- 15:05Speaker 5: All right.
- 15:07Speaker 7: When it wasn't that high under Obama, at.
- 15:08Speaker 5: $ 100 a barrel.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Explain to me, when you say it's $ 83 a barrel,
- 15:25Speaker 1: what does that figure represent?
- 15:29Speaker 5: What it costs for oil to make the gas and
- 15:32Speaker 5: the diesel and all that good stuff.
- 15:34Speaker 1: No, it doesn't. That is called the futures market. Do
- 15:39Speaker 1: you understand that? It's called the futures market. And many
- 15:43Speaker 1: of these oil experts say, guess what? Good luck at
- 15:46Speaker 1: buying it for $ 83 a barrel in the futures market.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Instead of me explaining it to you, you go read them.
- 15:54Speaker 1: There are about four of them. Go read them, and
- 15:56Speaker 1: they'll explain it. Actually put time forth. You're a guy
- 16:00Speaker 1: that wants to call me and say, I should be happy. Oh, well,
- 16:03Speaker 1: gas is whatever, $ 3. 50 a gallon or $ 4 a gallon,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and it was under Obama. I thought it sucked under Obama.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I thought it sucked under Biden. And it sucks now.
- 16:16Speaker 4: No, no, no, no.
- 16:16Speaker 5: I'm not saying you should be happy now.
- 16:19Speaker 2: No, no.
- 16:20Speaker 1: You listen for a minute.
- 16:21Speaker 5: I just can't understand why it was $ 100 a barrel,
- 16:24Speaker 5: the futures, or whatever, back under Obama.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:28Speaker 5: And it stayed under $ 4 a gallon for gas. Yet
- 16:34Speaker 5: now it's $ 80 a barrel, and it's $ 4. 50 a gallon
- 16:39Speaker 5: in Ohio. It's cheaper than Pennsylvania. It don't make any
- 16:43Speaker 5: sense to me.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Have you heard of supply and demand?
- 16:46Speaker 5: Same thing under Obama.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Okay. Under Obama, did we have 30 million less barrels
- 16:54Speaker 1: on the market a day? Yes or no?
- 16:55Speaker 3: No.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Was the straight open or not?
- 17:00Speaker 5: The price of oil was over $ 100 a barrel.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Do you want me to explain it to you? You're
- 17:05Speaker 1: going to have to hang up. Let me see if
- 17:12Speaker 1: that guy hung on. Hello.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Hello, Ron. How are you?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Good. I'm looking for a different guy. I wasn't talking
- 17:20Speaker 1: to you, I don't think.
- 17:22Speaker 7: No, I'm Keith the car wash guy.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Okay, Keith, hang on. I'll get back to you. So
- 17:29Speaker 1: it's typical. You get a guy like the last caller.
- 17:34Speaker 1: And he said, and see, these are basically Trump apologists.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And I voted for Trump. And I would vote for
- 17:43Speaker 1: him over the Democrats today. I won't vote for Sherrod Brown.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I got to say it a million times for people.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But the reality is they want to try to say, like,
- 17:52Speaker 1: what are you bitching about, man? Oil was like $ 3. 50
- 17:55Speaker 1: or $ 4 under Obama, or was this much under Biden?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Or it used to be $ 5. Well, guess what? We
- 18:02Speaker 1: were all bitching about that price of, not oil, I
- 18:05Speaker 1: mean a gallon of gas, when it was that price
- 18:07Speaker 1: under any of those people. Including probably most of those
- 18:11Speaker 1: people that we're calling were bitching about it when it
- 18:13Speaker 1: was that price under Obama or Biden. But all of
- 18:19Speaker 1: a sudden they want to try to use that high
- 18:20Speaker 1: price under those administrations to justify a high price under Trump.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I will not sit here and justify $ 4 a gallon
- 18:31Speaker 1: or $ 4. 50 a gallon. I look at when Trump before
- 18:34Speaker 1: the war started and it was down to $ 2. 50 a gallon.
- 18:40Speaker 1: But see, you're letting politics get in the way of
- 18:43Speaker 1: your brains. Because you want to try to justify something
- 18:47Speaker 1: that's eating up at your dollars and your economy. We
- 18:53Speaker 1: are an oil-based economy. One-third of the barrels of oil
- 18:56Speaker 1: that come out of the ground make products. Shingles, asphalt,
- 19:01Speaker 1: they don't go into making fuel. So the prices of
- 19:05Speaker 1: all that stuff continues to go up. Now he says, well,
- 19:11Speaker 1: why was it this and Obama and that kind of stuff?
- 19:13Speaker 1: The Strait wasn't closed under Obama. This problem didn't exist
- 19:19Speaker 1: under Obama. It didn't exist under Biden. So there's a
- 19:24Speaker 1: major difference between those 10 years as president and what
- 19:28Speaker 1: Trump has done. The Strait is closed. You have 20
- 19:31Speaker 1: to 30 million barrels of oil off the market that
- 19:35Speaker 1: aren't on it anymore because of this Strait being closed.
- 19:39Speaker 1: and Russia then cutting back. So you have major differences
- 19:48Speaker 1: in the oil market between from a production standpoint, between
- 19:56Speaker 1: when Obama and Biden were president and today because of
- 19:59Speaker 1: a closed strait, because of that much oil coming off
- 20:03Speaker 1: the market, not being in the pipeline. So basic supply
- 20:07Speaker 1: and demand says, well, there's an oil shortage as it's
- 20:10Speaker 1: not me. I mean, I'm just reading these guys. There's
- 20:13Speaker 1: four of them, I say, the main four that are
- 20:15Speaker 1: saying this is creating an oil shortage. Now, they're the
- 20:21Speaker 1: guys that are saying, you know, good luck at trying
- 20:24Speaker 1: to buy oil on the futures market when they say, well,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's going to be this price. And they say, well,
- 20:28Speaker 1: good luck at buying it for that. Like when they're
- 20:30Speaker 1: talking about– and first of all, oil isn't gasoline. A
- 20:34Speaker 1: barrel of oil, you've got to make into gasoline. So
- 20:42Speaker 1: this is what they're saying is why oil prices are
- 20:47Speaker 1: going up because of the situation of the strait and
- 20:50Speaker 1: how much oil is off the markets. This is a
- 20:52Speaker 1: major problem that was created by us, by Trump, by
- 20:58Speaker 1: what he did with Iran. And it's not going away
- 21:02Speaker 1: anytime soon. And that creates prices to go up. Supply
- 21:11Speaker 1: and demand. And that's why they say it will continue
- 21:16Speaker 1: to get worse. We have been depleting our strategic oil
- 21:21Speaker 1: reserve to fill in the gap as China has done. Now,
- 21:30Speaker 1: if you want to run it dry, that's fine. You
- 21:32Speaker 1: can continue to tap into it, but they say you
- 21:35Speaker 1: reach a point where you should probably think about not
- 21:37Speaker 1: doing that because it's there for some military purposes. But
- 21:44Speaker 1: I think Trump has tapped it for 175 million barrels
- 21:47Speaker 1: of oil. People say, well, Biden tapped into it. Well,
- 21:52Speaker 1: he did, too. But it doesn't matter. Trump is president
- 21:58Speaker 1: now for almost two years. Trump's the one that decided
- 22:00Speaker 1: to go to war with Iran. The Strait wasn't closed
- 22:06Speaker 1: during any of these. It's closed now. And that's what's
- 22:09Speaker 1: creating a lot of the problem. We don't have the
- 22:10Speaker 1: ships going through there. And you got the problem with
- 22:16Speaker 1: Russia and Ukraine. Back with more calls in a minute.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Have you heard the news? The last chance for Iran.
- 22:24Speaker 7: Many countries wanted to give this a last chance.
- 22:27Speaker 1: This is the last chance. Rubio on that last chance.
- 22:29Speaker 4: There's been progress made in those talks, but not finality yet.
- 22:32Speaker 7: We're hoping that will happen very shortly.
- 22:34Speaker 1: There's good news.
- 22:35Speaker 4: There are ships moving through the straits.
- 22:36Speaker 7: There's oil moving right now through the straits.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Todd Blanche's nomination for AG advances.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Todd Blanche is a very good man.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And election tests for socialists. Democrat socialists. Check in often.
- 22:51Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 22:54Speaker 6: A tornado warning has been issued for Hamilton and southwestern
- 22:59Speaker 6: Butler County until 345 with a storm near Ross moving
- 23:02Speaker 6: southeast at 45 miles per hour. A severe thunderstorm warning
- 23:05Speaker 6: is also in effect for several counties north and east
- 23:07Speaker 6: of Cincinnati. with 60-mile-an-hour wind gusts possible through 4 p.m.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Residents should take it to a safe indoor location as
- 23:14Speaker 6: damaging winds, flying debris, and possible tornado activity threaten the area.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Farther east, a flash flood warning remains in effect until
- 23:21Speaker 6: 6.15 for parts of southern eastern Ohio after 3 to
- 23:24Speaker 6: 4 inches of rain fell. And in the meantime, state
- 23:27Speaker 6: agents are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in the city
- 23:30Speaker 6: of Findlay. The incident happened yesterday afternoon at a roadway
- 23:35Speaker 6: inn on Broad Avenue. Authorities say 37-year-old Holden Smith was
- 23:40Speaker 6: waving a gun around in the hotel's parking lot and
- 23:43Speaker 6: was shot by police when he raised the weapon.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm Brady Hopkins.
- 23:46Speaker 6: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 23:50Speaker 6: and sports radio.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Podcasts, too.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Download the app. Free never sounded so good. A to Z. Now,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. All right, so let's see.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Where was I there? Was I talking to you? Yes,
- 24:14Speaker 1: you were, Ron. I will pay for it. No, I
- 24:17Speaker 1: wasn't talking to him. Was I talking to you?
- 24:21Speaker 7: You was talking to me.
- 24:22Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, car wash guy.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Well, I have to break your bubble a bit. I
- 24:27Speaker 7: am in beautiful Myrtle Beach for 10 days.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Now, what are you doing on vacation? How old are
- 24:34Speaker 1: you now? 73. Oh, okay. So can you afford to
- 24:38Speaker 1: be in Myrtle Beach?
- 24:40Speaker 4: To stay? Sure.
- 24:42Speaker 7: I'm here with Violet, my youngest son, and my ex-wife.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Did you hear this, folks? I want all of you
- 24:50Speaker 1: to hear this. Okay, this is the world of the bizarre.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He's in Myrtle Beach with his son and his ex-wife.
- 25:05Speaker 7: Didn't get any better than that.
- 25:08Speaker 1: How'd you get along? So you're on vacation with your
- 25:11Speaker 1: son and your ex-wife?
- 25:12Speaker 2: And my granddaughter, yes.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Yes. How's your ex-wife treating you?
- 25:17Speaker 4: Oh, great.
- 25:19Speaker 1: No problem.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Really?
- 25:22Speaker 7: Yeah, she paid for it up front, and we all
- 25:24Speaker 7: paid her back.
- 25:26Speaker 1: So it's like one big happy family.
- 25:31Speaker 7: It is, and we've been down here also looking. Possibly
- 25:35Speaker 7: she might buy a single-family house, and we might all
- 25:39Speaker 7: move down here.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Would you all live together?
- 25:43Speaker 5: Sure.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Wow. Why Myrtle Beach?
- 25:48Speaker 7: Well, I don't know. She wants to be by the ocean.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Well, here's the rub. I mean, that's good, but check
- 25:56Speaker 1: on the insurance first, depending on how close you get
- 25:59Speaker 1: to the ocean.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that.
- 26:02Speaker 7: 15, 20 minutes away, you're pretty good. And I'll tell you, gas,
- 26:08Speaker 7: I've seen anywhere from $ 2. 99, the highest, $ 3. 54 a gallon.
- 26:13Speaker 1: How can that be the case when I'm paying $ 4. 50
- 26:15Speaker 1: up here?
- 26:16Speaker 7: I have no idea.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that doesn't make a lick of sense to me.
- 26:21Speaker 4: No, it don't. No, it doesn't.
- 26:24Speaker 7: And down here, they're building developments as fast as you
- 26:27Speaker 7: can blink an eye. The one realtor we talked to,
- 26:30Speaker 7: he's already sold 60 homes this year.
- 26:33Speaker 1: How much for the home? I bet it's huge.
- 26:37Speaker 2: They range.
- 26:38Speaker 7: You know, we looked at one. Let me see. I
- 26:41Speaker 7: don't have the spec sheet with me. It was $ 350, 000
- 26:44Speaker 7: for a side-by-side condo.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Oh, side-by-side, so it's a condo.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:51Speaker 1: How many square feet, roughly?
- 26:53Speaker 7: I think it was 1,600.
- 26:55Speaker 1: That's small for how many people?
- 26:59Speaker 2: Three bedrooms.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but those are small bedrooms.
- 27:02Speaker 7: At that 60. Two of them were pretty good size,
- 27:05Speaker 7: I have to admit. And you got to, you know,
- 27:08Speaker 7: most of it's paid for.
- 27:09Speaker 3: It has a lake.
- 27:10Speaker 7: The HOA, I think, is 500 a month.
- 27:12Speaker 2: That includes..
- 27:15Speaker 7: Clubhouse Fitness, all the amenities like Lazy River for little kids.
- 27:21Speaker 1: But I want you to remember this. Okay. I want
- 27:24Speaker 1: you to remember this, that HOA fee is starting at $ 500.
- 27:29Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it couldn't go higher than that. I mean,
- 27:32Speaker 1: it's going to go higher each year. I mean, it
- 27:35Speaker 1: can easily be.
- 27:36Speaker 7: He tried to say if you go into a high-rise condo, yes,
- 27:42Speaker 7: they can... rise in price.
- 27:47Speaker 2: So, anyway, we're looking.
- 27:49Speaker 7: She's down here looking. So, that was part of the deal.
- 27:51Speaker 7: She was going to come down here and look.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Really? And so, you might move in with your ex-wife?
- 27:58Speaker 7: I would have no problem with that.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Really? Would it be just you two, or who else
- 28:05Speaker 1: would be living there?
- 28:06Speaker 7: Well, maybe Violet and my youngest son could come down
- 28:09Speaker 7: as well.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Okay, but... Your youngest son, who's Violet?
- 28:15Speaker 7: Violet is my youngest son's dad. That's my granddaughter, my
- 28:18Speaker 7: youngest seven-year-old.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Oh, so your son and your granddaughter.
- 28:24Speaker 7: Right, which that's his, he's the father.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Okay, so would they come down and live with you
- 28:29Speaker 1: guys too?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, mm-hmm.
- 28:34Speaker 1: In Myrtle Beach. Do you like Myrtle Beach?
- 28:36Speaker 7: Oh, I love it down here.
- 28:38Speaker 1: What do you love about it?
- 28:40Speaker 7: I don't know, you know what, I just feel better.
- 28:44Speaker 7: it's not that I didn't feel good, but you know,
- 28:45Speaker 7: you don't have the winters and you got the beach,
- 28:48Speaker 7: you got the ocean, you got hot tubs outside, you got,
- 28:51Speaker 7: there's just all kinds of things to do down here.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it. You know, like I tell people
- 28:58Speaker 1: a million times, but you know, I have two older brothers,
- 29:00Speaker 1: both of them live in Florida. They don't live with,
- 29:05Speaker 1: they don't live with Fort Lauderdale Frank, but they, they both,
- 29:09Speaker 1: they both have been in Florida. Now, Florida is, is
- 29:13Speaker 1: the sunshine state. Sunshine makes you feel better when you
- 29:16Speaker 1: have sunshine more often. But my brothers all say you're
- 29:22Speaker 1: more active and there's always something to do. It's a
- 29:26Speaker 1: lot of activity. You're more active. They love it. They
- 29:29Speaker 1: absolutely love it. Now, I always tell a story. My
- 29:33Speaker 1: daughter and many of the girls in her sorority, when
- 29:37Speaker 1: they got through college, they all moved to Orlando and, uh,
- 29:42Speaker 1: not a one of them came back. They all moved
- 29:45Speaker 1: there and there, they all live there and none of
- 29:47Speaker 1: them will ever come back here and they love it.
- 29:50Speaker 1: They absolutely love it. And, uh, they, uh, they just, uh,
- 29:56Speaker 1: they just love, love the sunshine and love the, uh,
- 30:00Speaker 1: environments and just thoroughly enjoy it. Now, anywhere, though, in Florida,
- 30:06Speaker 1: if you get close to the beach now, then you
- 30:08Speaker 1: have to worry more about the hurricanes and your cost
- 30:11Speaker 1: of insurance. I mean, insurance can be costly. But the
- 30:15Speaker 1: great thing about Florida is, and I wish Ron DeSantis
- 30:18Speaker 1: could be governor forever, how he runs the state and
- 30:21Speaker 1: the tax situation is just going in the right direction.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I mean, it is so, first of all, how they
- 30:27Speaker 1: treat their philosophy when it comes to dealing with crime,
- 30:32Speaker 1: how they support the police. They are against criminals. They're
- 30:36Speaker 1: against reforming property taxes. There's no income tax. Right. And
- 30:44Speaker 1: they just got their act together in Florida. They really
- 30:47Speaker 1: got their act together. So I get why you're saying
- 30:51Speaker 1: you would want to go to Myrtle Beach.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:53Speaker 7: And I checked in.
- 30:55Speaker 1: That's one of the fastest growing areas, right? Myrtle Beach
- 30:57Speaker 1: is in what, South Carolina?
- 30:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah. North and South Carolina are the two states. They
- 31:03Speaker 1: are booming.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Oh, it's crazy down here.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Everywhere you look, they're just developing single-family homes and pondos.
- 31:13Speaker 7: And you see the light pulls up in flat land,
- 31:16Speaker 7: and that's the start of it. And they just pour
- 31:19Speaker 7: the concrete slabs. And the realtors down here only get 3%,
- 31:26Speaker 7: where I believe in Pennsylvania it's 6%. Well, I know
- 31:29Speaker 7: it's 6%.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, like you take a day like today. I love
- 31:34Speaker 1: today's weather. I mean, it's overcast. It's 74 degrees. But,
- 31:39Speaker 1: I mean, to me, this is like it's really comfortable.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Make no mistake, I love the weather in Florida, even
- 31:45Speaker 1: when it's hot and humid. I mean, Florida is just
- 31:49Speaker 1: an enjoyable, wonderful place to be. But I love it
- 31:52Speaker 1: here where I'm at in Youngstown, Ohio, too, with this weather. Oh, yeah.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I like the change of seasons. I like spring. I
- 32:01Speaker 1: like summer. I like fall. And winter can be interesting. So,
- 32:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's not a horrible place to be. But
- 32:12Speaker 1: if you can have nice weather year-round and not put
- 32:15Speaker 1: up with that, it's probably definitely a positive. Because the
- 32:19Speaker 1: growth is really going in the Carolinas. I mean, I've
- 32:22Speaker 1: been reading about it. It is huge there. And the
- 32:24Speaker 1: property taxes are fairly reasonable in those areas.
- 32:27Speaker 7: They are because there's over 20 million tourists a year
- 32:32Speaker 7: that come here.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And it's like, I mean, it's all interesting to me.
- 32:39Speaker 1: And you know what? Here's what I wish. And I'm serious.
- 32:44Speaker 1: At 73, I hope you stay in good health. I mean,
- 32:48Speaker 1: you're a good guy. You got a good heart. You're
- 32:50Speaker 1: in good health. And I hope it stays that way.
- 32:54Speaker 1: And I hope if you do move to Myrtle Beach,
- 32:59Speaker 1: and I would predict that you will be happy and
- 33:01Speaker 1: you'll live. enjoy the rest of your life. I think
- 33:07Speaker 1: you'll be very pleasant. I appreciate that. And I think
- 33:11Speaker 1: you deserve that. I genuinely think you deserve it.
- 33:15Speaker 7: Back home, I work maybe one day a week, which
- 33:19Speaker 7: that's okay for me, too. But down here, there was
- 33:22Speaker 7: eight car washes. That's a franchise. I stopped in one
- 33:26Speaker 7: of them today. He said, I'd hire you, no problem.
- 33:29Speaker 7: He said, you've got too many years' experience. And it
- 33:32Speaker 7: would be about the same as I made back there. So,
- 33:36Speaker 7: and it was right down within 10 minutes from where
- 33:39Speaker 7: Paula was looking at a condo.
- 33:41Speaker 5: So.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Well, keep me in the loop. I mean, touch base
- 33:45Speaker 1: with me. I mean, don't, don't be a stranger. I'll
- 33:47Speaker 1: be thinking, I'll be thinking about you. You're a good
- 33:50Speaker 1: man and I enjoy talking.
- 33:51Speaker 7: To you and I, I appreciate that.
- 33:54Speaker 1: All right. Thank you for calling. Keep me in the loop.
- 33:57Speaker 1: All right, Ron.
- 33:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I'll do that.
- 33:59Speaker 1: It's a good guy right there. I find that interesting.
- 34:03Speaker 1: You're on here.
- 34:06Speaker 3: You know, Trump's just too damn good. He's too easy.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Be glad I'm not your president.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Well, I am glad about that. I will say I
- 34:16Speaker 1: am definitely happy you're not my president.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I will tell you something, okay? And I'll be right
- 34:24Speaker 3: on the line. Democrats would never, ever, no matter what
- 34:29Speaker 3: Biden did, Biden was braindead in office. No criticisms. They
- 34:33Speaker 3: wouldn't criticize the guy.
- 34:35Speaker 4: They stick together.
- 34:36Speaker 3: That's why they tend to win. But it's easy for
- 34:40Speaker 3: us to forget everything good Trump's done because of this war.
- 34:44Speaker 3: And I will tell you, I would much rather fight
- 34:47Speaker 3: this war with Trump than with a Kamala Harris or
- 34:51Speaker 3: a Barack Hussein Obama or a man, Dombie, if he
- 34:55Speaker 3: moves up that quick and gets into that position. I mean,
- 34:59Speaker 3: I really could give him. crap what the price of
- 35:02Speaker 3: fuel is, and I drive 1,000 miles a week. If
- 35:06Speaker 3: it means my grandkids can live in a world free
- 35:09Speaker 3: of Iran, it's worth it. These people have done nothing
- 35:14Speaker 3: for the last 50 years but threaten us, harass us,
- 35:19Speaker 3: murder us, torture us.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I've had it.
- 35:22Speaker 3: If I woke up tomorrow and there wasn't one Iranian alive,
- 35:28Speaker 3: I wouldn't feel bad. I would not feel bad. And
- 35:32Speaker 3: why do we have all this power if we're not
- 35:35Speaker 3: going to use it? They're trying to destroy our country.
- 35:38Speaker 3: They're trying to destroy our electoral process by getting the
- 35:43Speaker 3: Democrats back in there. And if I was Trump, I
- 35:46Speaker 3: wouldn't let them. They'd be a nuke. That Strait of
- 35:50Speaker 3: Hormuz would be glowing in the dark. And I guarantee you,
- 35:54Speaker 3: no other SOB would be putting landmines in that strait
- 35:59Speaker 3: when it's going in the dark. I don't care if
- 36:01Speaker 3: I killed the whole country. I really don't. Because if
- 36:05Speaker 3: they don't have the guts to stand up for themselves
- 36:07Speaker 3: and they let this crap go on, shame on them.
- 36:11Speaker 3: We have enough nuclear power to destroy them. No one's
- 36:15Speaker 3: going to challenge us. I don't care who thinks they're
- 36:18Speaker 3: going to challenge us.
- 36:19Speaker 4: No one.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Russia pales by comparison to us. So does China. And
- 36:24Speaker 3: they're not going to come after us one bit if
- 36:27Speaker 3: we take out Iran. I am so sick and tired.
- 36:30Speaker 3: of hearing Trump say, oh, they want to make a deal.
- 36:33Speaker 3: They don't want to make a deal. They want us
- 36:35Speaker 3: to destroy that. That's what they want. Because that's what
- 36:38Speaker 3: they're asking for, Ron. And they ask for it every
- 36:42Speaker 3: single day. I've absolutely had.
- 36:44Speaker 2: It up to here.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I'll pay the higher gas prices, but I want something
- 36:48Speaker 3: in the end. I want to see them gone.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Gone.
- 36:53Speaker 1: So what do you think about how it's going now?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Sounds like you're frustrated with all these..
- 36:58Speaker 3: I'm frustrated. Why are we screwing around with them? Think
- 37:02Speaker 3: about it.
- 37:03Speaker 2: All they have is oil. Kill them.
- 37:06Speaker 3: We have a bomb that will eliminate them. One, two bombs,
- 37:10Speaker 3: the whole country stops. Just be done with it. We
- 37:13Speaker 3: are trying to be reasonable. We're trying to do the
- 37:16Speaker 3: right thing. We're trying to be Christian-like.
- 37:18Speaker 4: I've had enough.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Every time... They can embarrass him or do something to
- 37:23Speaker 3: embarrass him or do something to make him look like
- 37:26Speaker 3: a liar. They do it. I'm sick of them. You know,
- 37:29Speaker 3: he said they're scum. Never negotiate with scum. Never make
- 37:33Speaker 3: a deal with scum. Because he's right about that.
- 37:36Speaker 4: They are scum.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I'm sick of it. If there wasn't one Iranian left
- 37:40Speaker 3: in the world, I wouldn't lose 10 seconds sleep over that.
- 37:44Speaker 3: My biggest concern would be the cockroaches.
- 37:46Speaker 4: That are left.
- 37:47Speaker 3: How bad are they going to be to get rid of?
- 37:50Speaker 3: Because I don't care about them. I don't care about
- 37:53Speaker 3: one of them.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Not one.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Men, women, children, they are bred to hate us. They
- 38:00Speaker 3: are bred to want to see us dead. I'm sick
- 38:03Speaker 3: of it. And I'd rather fight this fight with Trump,
- 38:07Speaker 3: in charge of the military he's put together, than anybody
- 38:10Speaker 3: else I could think of. George Bush included. Reagan included.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I would rather fight this fight now and.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Get it over with.
- 38:17Speaker 3: But I want to get it over with. Because, you know,
- 38:19Speaker 3: we could end this thing in about two and a
- 38:21Speaker 3: half hours. It wouldn't take very long. You know, I
- 38:25Speaker 3: know it's far away. I know we can't get supplies there.
- 38:27Speaker 3: I don't want to put our guys on the ground.
- 38:29Speaker 3: I don't want my kids going on the ground. I
- 38:31Speaker 3: wouldn't want to go on the ground, to be honest
- 38:33Speaker 3: with you. We don't have to do it from the ground.
- 38:36Speaker 3: We could destroy them, wipe out the entire country.
- 38:38Speaker 1: We couldn't put a guy your age on the ground
- 38:40Speaker 1: there because we'd have to drop all kinds of porta-potties
- 38:42Speaker 1: for you to.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Walkers, everything else.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I mean, you know, that would just be ugly to
- 38:49Speaker 1: put a guy your age on the ground. It'd be like,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you know, geez, his hemorrhoids are acting up. We've got
- 38:55Speaker 1: to stop the march.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Exactly. The only thing they understand is pure power. That's
- 39:02Speaker 3: all they understand.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Okay?
- 39:04Speaker 3: Now, unfortunately, it would be too late for them people,
- 39:07Speaker 3: but they can blame their leaders. Don't blame us. We
- 39:11Speaker 3: tried everything. I mean, I just, I don't have the
- 39:14Speaker 3: temperament or the patience. You know, if we didn't have
- 39:17Speaker 3: a nuke, if we didn't have the power to wipe
- 39:20Speaker 3: them off the face of the earth, I wouldn't suggest it.
- 39:22Speaker 3: But we do. Why aren't we using it? Why are
- 39:25Speaker 3: we being embarrassed by these people, humiliated by these people,
- 39:29Speaker 3: taught by these people? You know, they want reparations? Of
- 39:34Speaker 3: all the countries in the world, if anybody owes reparations,
- 39:38Speaker 3: it's them. The Houthis and Hezbollah and Hamas, all these creeds.
- 39:45Speaker 3: Why are we even dealing with these people? They are
- 39:47Speaker 3: murdering scum. They deserve nothing less than death. And actually,
- 39:54Speaker 3: they deserve horrific death. That's what they really deserve. What
- 39:57Speaker 3: they did to those babies in Israel and the mothers
- 40:01Speaker 3: and the daughters that they raped, they deserve a horrific
- 40:04Speaker 3: death is what they deserve. And that's exactly what we
- 40:06Speaker 3: could give them, and we should be giving it to them.
- 40:09Speaker 3: And why Trump's jeopardizing this election and raising our fuel up,
- 40:14Speaker 3: I'm worried more about our fuel than their lives. Let's
- 40:17Speaker 3: put it that way. You may think I'm a horrible person.
- 40:20Speaker 3: I'm just a realist.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Okay?
- 40:22Speaker 5: I'm just a realist.
- 40:23Speaker 1: What I thought is when I was hearing those rumble
- 40:25Speaker 1: strips that you fell asleep and were driving off the
- 40:27Speaker 1: road is what I thought.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Well, that's happened.
- 40:31Speaker 3: I won't say that hasn't happened.
- 40:33Speaker 1: All right. I got to pause. Good hearing your voice, Nick.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I'll be right back. Take care. Your one stop for advertising?
- 40:42Speaker 5: 570-WKBN.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Back to it. News Radio 570. Ron Ferb, you're on
- 40:48Speaker 1: the air. Hello.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Afternoon, Ron.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Billy from Butler. Go ahead.
- 40:54Speaker 4: Yes. Hey, I listened to your podcast yesterday, and... I
- 40:59Speaker 4: had to respond because you said something, then you repeated
- 41:02Speaker 4: it like an hour later, and that just, like, freaked
- 41:05Speaker 4: me out.
- 41:06Speaker 2: When you said, well, I don't know.
- 41:08Speaker 4: If global climate change is real. I don't really know.
- 41:12Speaker 1: I said it today. I said it today. I don't know.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I'm not a scientist. I can't say it is or
- 41:17Speaker 1: it isn't. I mean, I can have an opinion, but
- 41:20Speaker 1: an opinion doesn't mean much if you don't really have
- 41:24Speaker 1: the facts.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Well, right there, you almost sounded like the one lady
- 41:30Speaker 4: Supreme Court justice.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Well, I don't know what a woman is.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Listen, what determines our climate is that big ball of
- 41:39Speaker 4: fire in the sky. It's the oceans heating up and
- 41:43Speaker 4: cooling down. the El Nino effect, and that is caused
- 41:48Speaker 4: by the sun, which goes through cycles. The more sunspots
- 41:52Speaker 4: you have, that means the more activity, the more heat
- 41:55Speaker 4: it's throwing off. We have absolutely nothing to do with that, whatsoever, nothing.
- 42:03Speaker 4: This whole, you know, and you, I mean, at least
- 42:06Speaker 4: a couple times a week, you'll bitch about the electrical prices,
- 42:09Speaker 4: because Obama, you know, fighting climate change, he shut the
- 42:13Speaker 4: coal down, I mean, their solution to this non-problem, you know,
- 42:19Speaker 4: we're going to take CO2 off the market. CO2 makes
- 42:23Speaker 4: up less than 0.04% of the atmosphere. If you had
- 42:28Speaker 4: a 100,000 football seat stadium, CO2 would only take up
- 42:36Speaker 4: four seats. That's how little there is. And without CO2,
- 42:40Speaker 4: there'd be no plants, no food, no life. This is
- 42:45Speaker 4: the most insane hoax ever. I mean, this is all
- 42:49Speaker 4: pure communism. This is meant to drive up the cost
- 42:54Speaker 4: to make things harder for us.
- 42:56Speaker 2: That's all.
- 42:57Speaker 4: You know, and the destruction. You know what I mean?
- 42:59Speaker 4: Where Obama stands up and says, well, this is settled science.
- 43:03Speaker 4: There is no settled science. You constantly test. you know,
- 43:06Speaker 4: your theories. You know, that is just, you know, to me,
- 43:10Speaker 4: that is the most insane thing. And you and I, well,
- 43:13Speaker 4: I've in the past tried to have this conversation, you know,
- 43:17Speaker 4: because 20 years ago on your show, you couldn't talk
- 43:20Speaker 4: about this. But, I mean, this is, to me, this
- 43:22Speaker 4: is just insanely stupid. Now, as far as the war.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Stand by. Stand by. Let me do my break. I
- 43:28Speaker 1: come back to you. News Radio 570 WKBN. Another hour
- 43:31Speaker 1: to go. As we approach 5 o'clock, Ron Furp from
- 43:34Speaker 1: the Kingdom of Holland.
