  Speaker 1: mic and go through the listeners' ears and be able

  Speaker 1: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 1: apply these verses to their lives. In the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 1: Christ's name, I pray.

  Speaker 2: Amen. And that prayer wasn't only just for you.

  Speaker 1: I'm a listener as well, as we do this Bible
• 0:29
  Speaker 1: study and break down the first 15 verses of the
• 0:33
  Speaker 1: chapters and there will be segments to part twos of
• 0:36
  Speaker 1: that where we will go.

  Speaker 2: To 16 to 30.

  Speaker 1: So with that being said we're going to be in

  Speaker 1: Mark chapter 10 and you can go ahead and grab

  Speaker 1: your Bibles and get on your Bible app and be

  Speaker 1: able to read along as you hear along I highly

  Speaker 1: encourage it to be able to really soak in the

  Speaker 1: word and be able to not only hear it but

  Speaker 1: see it and it's just very very beneficial And being

  Speaker 1: as if, you know, I am, not if, the host,

  Speaker 1: so I have to be able to hear myself as well.

  Speaker 1: And it's a beautiful thing to be able to do

  Speaker 1: these episodes. I've given you enough time. So Mark chapter 10,

  Speaker 1: and it is titled, God Wants Husbands and Wives to
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: Stay Together. This is a beautiful beginning to the chapter. Already,

  Speaker 1: as it is titled, then verse 1 states, Then Jesus
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: left that place. He went to the part of Judah
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: that is on the east side of the Jordan River.

  Speaker 1: Crowds of people came to him again. So he taught them,
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: as he usually did. Some Pharisees came to Jesus. They
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: wanted to find out how he would answer their question.
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: They asked him, Can a man send his wife away
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: so that she is no longer his wife? Is it
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: right for him to do that? Jesus replied with a question.

  Speaker 1: What did Moses say was right for you? The Pharisee said,
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: Moses said that a man could write a letter to
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: say that he and his wife are no longer married.
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: Then the man can send the woman away. Jesus said
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: to them, Moses made this rule for you because you
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: did not want to obey God.
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: But at the start, when God made the world, he
• 2:24
  Speaker 2: made people male and female.
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: That is the reason that a man leaves his father.
• 2:33
  Speaker 2: And his mother.
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: Then God joins him and his wife together. Look, see,
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: we all have an upbringing. We all were brought into
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: this world. We didn't choose our families, right? But God
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: put us together inside our mom's womb. Just like how Jesus,
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: as a human, walked this earth. He was put together
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: by the Holy Spirit. We are children of God. We
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: have been divided. We have been distracted. But this verse
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: in particular is referring.
• 3:04
  Speaker 2: To a woman. Right? And it could be a male
• 3:09
  Speaker 2: as well.
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: Leaving the capacity of time that is spent with their parents.
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: And is spent with a significant other.
• 3:24
  Speaker 2: I had....
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: A problem with this in a relationship before where it
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: was very hard for the woman to separate from the
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: mother and the truth of the matter is the the
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: brutal reality as well is that our parents are going
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: to pass and they want us to be happy as
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: happy as they want us to be, but our happiness
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: relies on us and the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 2: Amen?

  Speaker 1: Because look, I mean, when it really comes down to it,
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: we're going to go through different feelings and different thoughts.
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: We're going to go through different scenarios. We've been through
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: different relationships, right, a lot of us. And I'm looking
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: for the stick and stay. I'm looking for the loyalty
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: over the love, like Jesus loves us. I shed that
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: love on my significant other. Sometimes it can be mushy, mushy.
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: Sometimes it can be also tough love, too.
• 4:30
  Speaker 2: I'll call you out.
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: And we are not to be led by anything of fear,
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: but the spirit of the Holy Spirit.
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: Amen.

  Speaker 1: Let me get into it deeper. The man, and this
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: is Mark chapter 10, verse 8, the man and the
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: woman became like one body. Let me repeat that one
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: more time. The man and the woman became like one body.
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: They are not two separate people any longer. They have
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: come together as one person. God has put them together
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: to be husband and wife. So nobody should cause them
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: to be separated. So we have this separation that we
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: have from our higher power.
• 5:14
  Speaker 2: So of course we're going to have misfits as wives. Companions.
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: And learn. Through heartbreak.
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: And wasted time with others. Not what to do as well.
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: None of us are perfect when it comes to. Relationships.
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: Or anything in general. And that's where we have to.
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: Look and see the other perspective of the other.
• 5:43
  Speaker 2: Spouse.
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: Because when we're talking about. Two people that come together
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: and become one. That's not just something that happens overnight
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: as well, and it's not something that is very easy.
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: That's why it takes work and building together with somebody
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: and having that Holy Spirit in the midst of it
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: as well. So when Jesus went into the house, the
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: disciples asked him about these things again. So Jesus said
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: to them, a man must not send his wife away
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: and then marry another woman. If he does that, He
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: has not been faithful to his wife. It is the
• 6:22
  Speaker 1: same as if he had sex with another man's wife.
• 6:27
  Speaker 2: This is deep.
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: In the same way, a woman must not leave her
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: husband and then marry another man. She also has done
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: a wrong thing. It is the same as if she
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: had sex with another woman's husband.
• 6:46
  Speaker 2: So... truth of the matter is we don't give up
• 6:53
  Speaker 2: on our loved ones. We don't.

  Speaker 1: Just give up. It's so easy to get that divorce finalized.

  Speaker 2: It's a tap out.

  Speaker 1: Now I understand there's certain relationships where there's... Verbal abuse.

  Speaker 2: Physical abuse. Emotionally.

  Speaker 1: And....

  Speaker 2: I'm not for all that. I understand when you gotta leave,

  Speaker 2: you gotta leave.
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: But if it's little petty things that you guys are
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: breaking up over... And there's things that can be communicated.
• 7:40
  Speaker 2: On a consistent basis... And of course.
• 7:45
  Speaker 2: A couple that prays together stays together. It's very true.
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: Why do you think also. That you pray with the pastor.
• 7:59
  Speaker 1: You pray to Jesus. You have to pray for one another.
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: To have that divine protection. And to be able to.
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: See God work. And see God protect.
• 8:17
  Speaker 2: My significant other. My brother. My mother.
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: And install the joy and the smiles that I have
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: seen on my significant other's face as well.
• 8:29
  Speaker 2: As my brother's. My mother's.
• 8:32
  Speaker 1: That's credit to the Holy Spirit. Amen. I'm going to
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: really preach and teach tonight. Jesus asked God to bless
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: little children.
• 8:42
  Speaker 2: People... Will bring little children to Jesus. Were.
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: And they still should. Get baptized in the Father, the Son,
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: and the Holy Spirit. They wanted him to put his

  Speaker 1: hands on each child's head. The disciples told the people

  Speaker 1: he was angry. He said to them, do not stop

  Speaker 1: the children. Let them come to me. People must become

  Speaker 1: like these children so that God can rule their lives.

  Speaker 1: That is what the kingdom of God is like. I

  Speaker 1: tell you this, a person must become like a little
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: child for God to rule.

  Speaker 2: In his life.
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: If he does not become like a child, he will
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: not come into the kingdom of God. Then Jesus took
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: hold of the children. He put his hands on each
• 9:34
  Speaker 1: of them and he asked God to bless them. The
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: father said, Jesus praise you and the Holy Spirit. Becoming childlike.
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: You don't have to be immature to be childlike. This
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: version that the Bible is speaking on, we all have.

  Speaker 1: we all have to act accordingly though but when you

  Speaker 1: can be yourself with Jesus and other people close to

  Speaker 1: you come as you are it's such a beautiful thing

  Speaker 1: think about this The kingdom of God. In order to enter.

  Speaker 1: You must have like a child like spirit. Don't take
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: life so serious all the time. Laughter is one of
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: the best medicines. Jesus laughed a lot. We can look
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: back in scripture and see that. And the beauty. Of
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: the pain that is. Already passed and that's to come.
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: It's temporary. These things that I tell you, the Spirit leads.
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: Heaven is everlasting. Glorifying not only God.
• 11:05
  Speaker 2: Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, but our own bodies as well.

  Speaker 2: All glory to God. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And I want to go ahead and see where we're
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: at on time. I got a little bit of time,

  Speaker 1: so I think I can finish this out. Now that's

  Speaker 1: 16 right there. I want to say this one real quick.

  Speaker 1: A rich man comes to Jesus. While Jesus was starting
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: on his journey, a man ran into him. He went
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: down on his knees in front of Jesus. He said
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: to Jesus, Good teacher, what must I do so that
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: I can live with God forever? Jesus said to him,
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: Why do you say that I am good?
• 11:47
  Speaker 2: Only God is good. Nobody else.
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: You know God's commands. Do not kill anyone. Do not
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: have sex with anyone who is not your wife. Do
• 11:57
  Speaker 1: not rob anyone. Do not say things that are not
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: true about people. Do not take things that are not yours.
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: Love your father and your mother and obey them. Then
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: the man replied, Jesus, I have obeyed all these laws
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: since I was a young man.
• 12:17
  Speaker 2: So beings.
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: Not only thankful, but obedient to who brought you into
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: this world and upbring you.
• 12:27
  Speaker 2: It does not mean that that's how you have to
• 12:29
  Speaker 2: live your life.

  Speaker 1: Your life is your own once you get to a
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: certain age. And a lot of this is common sense
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: and a lot of these things are reminders of where
• 12:39
  Speaker 1: you've come from. You have to realize that you can change.

  Speaker 1: You have to be able to let the Holy Spirit in.
• 12:50
  Speaker 2: Amen. Amen. And we got two minutes. I just want to.

  Speaker 2: Take this time to. Make. A little bit. Of effort to.
• 13:08
  Speaker 2: Show the people that I love most. That listen all
• 13:10
  Speaker 2: the way through. And that.

  Speaker 1: That I love dearly. It's overflowing. And I know that
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: I feel your tank. Or I feel a lot of
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: people's tanks. It's going to continue. But it's also at a.
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: At a rate that. The spirit lets me do. And
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: the comfort that. You are seeking.
• 13:38
  Speaker 2: Is near. In order to. Have something worth having.
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: It has to be maintenance. It has to be worked on.
• 13:53
  Speaker 1: You have to continue to build and grow.
• 13:55
  Speaker 2: So. Individually and together. So. I give you my all

  Speaker 2: with one minute.

  Speaker 1: I want you to know that. I have met a
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: lot of people. In my lifetime. You are the most special.

  Speaker 1: That I have encountered. And I thank God that. I've

  Speaker 1: met you. Fallen in love with you. And not only that.

  Speaker 1: One day I'll get to kiss you. One day I'll
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: get to hold your hand. One day I will get
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: to look you in your eyes.

  Speaker 2: And tell you how much I am deeply in love
• 14:37
  Speaker 2: with you. And will continue to choose you. No matter what.
