  Hello, and thank you for joining us in this broadcast of Woman at the Well Ministries,

  and what a wonderful, wonderful thing we get to talk about today.
• 1:34
  Today, we are discussing how when God comes on the scene, everything changes.
• 1:42
  And we have the absolute assurance that he's on time, in time, every time.
• 1:46
  We absolutely know that he has exactly what we need, when we need it,
• 1:51
  how we need it, and all we have to do is trust and obey.
• 1:55
  Because no matter what the situation is, we always have the defense,
• 2:00
  but God, if we are child of the most high God.
• 2:04
  You see, it tells us in Jeremiah 29, 11, that he knows the plans that he has
• 2:07
  for us to prosper us and to give us a hope.
• 2:09
  He tells us in Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 5, that he'll never leave us nor forsake us.
• 2:16
  He shows us when David was up against the Goliath and David said,
• 2:22
  the battle's not mine, it belongs to the Lord.
• 2:24
  He shows us that if we just follow in his way, and he is the way,
• 2:29
  that we will not only have eternal life, but that he will guide us.
• 2:33
  His light will be a light unto our path, and his lamp will be for our feet to follow.
• 2:40
  He never said, get out in front of me. He said, come follow.
• 2:44
  And in every situation as a child of the most high God we have the advocate
• 2:50
  Jesus Christ and we can say but God.
• 2:55
  At this moment in time, you can say, I am sick, but God.
• 3:00
  You can say, I am lonely, but God. You can say, I am in need, but God.
• 3:08
  And as we continue through the rest of this lesson, we can begin to add to the
• 3:13
  other side of God. Because God said, I will supply all of your needs according
• 3:18
  to my riches and glory in Philippians 4.
• 3:22
  And he said just in prior to that in 4 13 that you can do all things through
• 3:26
  christ which strengtheneth me so when we're talking about but god we have all
• 3:32
  we need you recall that god said i am the i am do you remember that he said
• 3:39
  i am the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end,
• 3:42
  before me there was no other and after me there will be none because i will always be,
• 3:48
  you recall that he said come unto you me all you that are labored and are heavy
• 3:55
  burdened all you that labor and are heavy laden and i will give you rest,

  take my yoke upon you because my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

  Do you remember that he said, casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.
• 4:14
  Oh, my friends, your heart might be heavy, but I remind you that he said in
• 4:20
  John chapter 14 and verse 1, let not your heart be troubled.
• 4:25
  And maybe your way seems weary, but I submit to you that he said,
• 4:31
  don't grow weary in well-doing.
• 4:34
  And that he said, I am the way. And you see, he can't fail and he can't grow
• 4:39
  weary and his strength won't falter.
• 4:43
  Praise be to God. The victory is already won because he said greater is he that
• 4:48
  is in you than he that is in the world.
• 4:50
  The next few moments, we're just going to look at his word and take him at his
• 4:55
  word and look at his promises.
• 4:57
  And you know what we're going to see? We're going to see that no matter what
• 5:00
  situation we find ourselves in, we have a but God. And that changes everything.
• 5:06
  Do you remember Elijah and the widow?
• 5:10
  She was facing some very, very, very, very bad circumstances.
• 5:15
  Her barrel of meal was empty and her cruise of oil was low as well.
• 5:22
  Nearly empty, the both of them.
• 5:24
  And she had a son in whom she loved and I don't have any children but I am one
• 5:30
  so I know how a parent loves you,
• 5:32
  but you know how you love your child and how horrible it would be to look upon
• 5:36
  this child knowing that this meal that you're fixing right now would be the
• 5:41
  very last meal that they're going to eat and so what this widow was prepared
• 5:45
  to do was to fix this meal and then they would die.
• 5:50
  Suddenly, at the door, she heard a knock.
• 5:54
  There was Elijah, a prophet and a man of God.
• 5:58
  You see, God shows up on the scene, and I want you to really pay attention to me.
• 6:02
  He shows up on the scene in various ways, but he always shows up on the scene.
• 6:08
  In this particular instance that we're speaking about, Jesus and God and the
• 6:12
  Holy Spirit, all three in one, showed up in the form of sending Elijah to the widow woman.
• 6:18
  And the prophet of god said make me of your
• 6:22
  meal first wow she
• 6:26
  only had enough for her and
• 6:29
  her son and it was only for the meal
• 6:32
  they were about to eat and nothing more and then god shows up on the scene in
• 6:37
  the form of elijah and elijah says serve me first put me first what i submit
• 6:44
  to you right now as we begin to speak about this lesson is that you need to put God first.
• 6:50
  The circumstances may not make a bit of sense. It could not have made sense
• 6:55
  to this widow woman to give what she had first to the stranger when she didn't
• 7:00
  have enough to give to her and her son.
• 7:03
  But I want you to know she knew who Elijah was. He wasn't a stranger.
• 7:06
  You know who God is. You know what God can do. You know what he's done before.
• 7:11
  You know what he's promised.
• 7:12
  He's not a stranger to you. You need to believe in him and put him first.
• 7:17
  He says, I will have no other gods before me.
• 7:20
  You must love him with your whole heart, your whole soul, your whole mind.
• 7:24
  This is the perfect will of God.
• 7:27
  The widow woman does exactly what Elijah, the man of God, says.
• 7:33
  And she begins to prepare the meal and she gives it to him first.
• 7:36
  And he told her, if you'll put me first, if you'll put God first and you'll
• 7:41
  obey and you'll trust and you'll stay in his will, that he will provide for you.
• 7:46
  Later on in the scriptures, it says that he's never seen a child of God,
• 7:50
  his seed begging bread or forsaken.
• 7:53
  Because you see, Jesus Christ provides all that you need.
• 7:58
  And there's always a God for the child of God. and for the lady and the widow
• 8:04
  there and her son and elijah but god was there.
• 8:11
  And she did exactly what god asked of her and guess what the barrel of oil never
• 8:16
  ran dry it never ran out and the cruise of oil never ran dry because god said
• 8:23
  i will supply all of your needs,
• 8:25
  according to my riches.
• 8:28
  The woman had within her power only to give one meal.
• 8:32
  And if she'd have done it her way, that's exactly what she would have had.
• 8:36
  But when God is in it, little is much.
• 8:39
  But God, I am reminded of the disciples on the sea, tossed, torn in the boat.
• 8:50
  And they look out on the sea and they're
• 8:54
  facing a storm and coming towards them
• 8:57
  before they ever called before they ever asked
• 9:00
  didn't even recognize him coming before before them is god jesus is walking
• 9:06
  on the water but god and he whispers to the sea peace be still peter falls as
• 9:15
  he tries to come out to him because he takes his eyes off of Jesus.
• 9:20
  You see, there's a but God in our life because we are children of God.
• 9:23
  And oh, how he loves you and oh, how he loves me.
• 9:27
  There's a but God in our lives. But we need to recognize him and we need to
• 9:32
  keep our eyes focused on him.
• 9:33
  When Peter was sitting in the boat and he looks out and he says, if that be God, call me.
• 9:38
  If your eyes are a little blurry right now and you're not seeing God for who
• 9:41
  he is, get on your hands and knees and you call him and you bid him to bid you come.
• 9:47
  You see he's given you the promise in hebrews chapter 4 that you can come boldly to the throne,
• 9:52
  he's invited you to cast your care and maybe you're just having trouble seeing
• 9:57
  him you get on your hands and knees and ask and you shall receive seek and you
• 10:02
  shall find knock and it'll be open unto you he will bid you come and you'll
• 10:06
  feel the calm peace of jesus christ.
• 10:09
  As it overwhelms your soul peter on the edge of the boat steps out because jesus said come,
• 10:17
  he walks on the water and he watches jesus everything's
• 10:21
  fine because his eyes are on you the storm hasn't changed
• 10:24
  hey listen god has handpicked that storm for your life just because you pray
• 10:31
  doesn't mean he's going to take it away but it does mean he'll take you through
• 10:35
  it he'll bring you over it and you won't be alone because in hebrews 13 5 he
• 10:41
  said i'll never leave you nor forsake you.
• 10:43
  In Isaiah 43, too, he says, when thou passest through the waters, I will be there.
• 10:49
  And through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walkest through
• 10:53
  the fire, thou shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
• 10:56
  He never told Isaiah that he'd get rid of them. He said, I'll take you through
• 11:00
  them. I'll bring you over them. They won't affect you.
• 11:04
  But I'm there in the midst of the storm because there's a but God and he has
• 11:11
  a plan and it's his perfect plan.
• 11:14
  Peter took his eyes off of God and wouldn't let God be the place he needed to be, Peter sank.
• 11:21
  It wasn't because Jesus wasn't there, because as soon as Peter raised his hands
• 11:28
  and asked Jesus to save him, my Bible says immediately he picked him up.
• 11:35
  There's no doubt about it, folks. Life can be overwhelming but we have a but
• 11:41
  god and maybe you just think god doesn't see it.
• 11:47
  Maybe you think God doesn't care. Oh, he tells us in 1 Peter 5 that he cares.
• 11:54
  He says, casting all your care upon me, for he careth for you.
• 11:59
  And in Psalms 139.3, he says, Thou compassed my path and my lying down,
• 12:07
  and art acquainted with all my ways.
• 12:11
  He knows you, and he still loves you.
• 12:16
  Nothing gets to you he doesn't see
• 12:19
  nothing happens that he
• 12:23
  doesn't know about but how many things
• 12:26
  happen and how many things cross your path that you don't ask him about and
• 12:35
  you don't seek his guidance and you don't follow his way he said i am the way
• 12:40
  come follow life is overwhelming,
• 12:45
  but we have a but god and that doesn't
• 12:48
  just neutralize everything that conquers everything
• 12:52
  we are more than conquerors through christ
• 12:55
  jesus and greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world in second
• 13:01
  peter 3 8 he says but beloved be not ignorant of this one thing that one day
• 13:06
  is with the lord is a thousand years and a thousand years is one day maybe you think time is a problem.
• 13:13
  Time is a man-made thing. That problem that you had many years ago that you
• 13:18
  still haven't given to the Lord, he can still take it away because my God delivers.
• 13:23
  You remember the three Hebrew children? They were cast into the fiery furnace,
• 13:28
  and the fourth man in the fire was likened to the Son of God.
• 13:33
  And when the three Hebrew children were brought out.
• 13:38
  On one of them even had the smell of smoke. Did you hear me?
• 13:43
  When the three Hebrew children were brought out.
• 13:46
  When they were in the fire, they weren't alone. But then he delivered them.
• 13:51
  I don't know what your fiery furnace is.
• 13:55
  I don't know what heat you are feeling.
• 14:00
  I don't know what sin has a hold of you and romans 6 says the sin has no more
• 14:06
  dominion over us we can be delivered,
• 14:10
  you see he can tell us to let not our heart be troubled because he can deliver
• 14:15
  us and he will deliver us the hebrew children they wouldn't bow and they wouldn't bend.
• 14:21
  But the problem wasn't removed you see the problem with many of us is we think
• 14:27
  when we go to god and we speak to him about what is on our heart and what is
• 14:30
  on our mind, that he'll remove the obstacle.
• 14:33
  The Hebrew children, they didn't get the obstacle moved.
• 14:37
  The fiery furnace was still a place that was appointed for them to go.
• 14:42
  But it wasn't a scary place for the Hebrew children.
• 14:46
  Because the Hebrew children knew the God that they trusted, the God that they
• 14:50
  had placed their faith in, was going to deliver them.
• 14:53
  And regardless of what the deliverance was, it was correct. You see,
• 14:57
  we go to God and we tell him how to deliver us.
• 15:00
  I'm guilty too.
• 15:02
  I nailed at the bedside of my mother. I begged God to deliver her. And he did.
• 15:09
  She's kicking up gold dust in a place not made with hands eternal into the heavens.
• 15:14
  And one day I have the promise I will see her again, like I've never seen her
• 15:18
  before, well and healthy. He delivered.
• 15:24
  When I was praying those prayers, is that what i was thinking not in the beginning
• 15:29
  but for the 42 years of my life that i had her she was sick.
• 15:35
  Either delivered her on this side or he
• 15:38
  delivered her forever but the truth remains he delivered her and just like many
• 15:45
  of you i often just didn't want it to be the problem i wanted the furnace taken
• 15:50
  away i thought deliverance could only mean i didn't have to go there she didn't believe that,
• 15:57
  because she knew that god's way was perfect she knew that he never left her
• 16:02
  nor for sacred he She knew that to God be the glory for the great things he had done.
• 16:07
  And on her last days, she praised God for the great things he had done.
• 16:13
  But she was in the furnace.
• 16:15
  But guess what? So was he. And though I looked at the furnace,
• 16:21
  and it looked so hot to me, and it looked like such a horrible place,
• 16:27
  she was peaceful because he was in the furnace.
• 16:31
  The furnace had no power over her and he delivered you might be in the furnace.
• 16:38
  But he's delivering friends there's
• 16:42
  a but god and those hebrew children can tell you plainly what a difference it
• 16:47
  made for god to be there peter can tell you explicitly what a difference it
• 16:52
  made to be there you can tell me if you but just employ your faith because with faith,
• 17:00
  All things are possible to him that believeth, Mark 9.23 says.

  Mind that you really realized that psalms 139 7 and 8 is true he said whither
• 17:12
  shall i go from thy spirit or whither shall i flee from thy presence if i ascend
• 17:16
  up unto heaven thou art there if i make my bed in hell behold thou art there
• 17:19
  you're right there on his radar,
• 17:23
  zachariah 2 8 says you're the apple of his eye he's watching and you do matter
• 17:28
  and maybe the furnace is raging but hello greater is he that is in you than
• 17:33
  he that is in the world no matter how hot the furnace is,
• 17:37
  it's nothing compared to the calming,
• 17:39
  soothing balm of Gilead, of the great most high God in whom not only do you
• 17:44
  serve, you are part of his family,
• 17:47
  an heir with Jesus Christ.
• 17:51
  There's a but God.
• 17:53
  In every situation, there's a but God.
• 17:56
  My friends, he cares for you.

  In psalms chapter 8 and verse

  4 the psalmist david says what
• 18:06
  is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that thou visitest him
• 18:15
  my friends he's visiting with you right now and i don't mean to make light of
• 18:20
  your problem i don't mean to make light of your furnace.
• 18:24
  I know they hurt and i
• 18:27
  know that the devil does all he can because he walketh about as
• 18:30
  a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour and i
• 18:33
  know he does all that he can to make
• 18:36
  you not see who god is but over these last few moments i've done all that i
• 18:41
  can through the help of the holy spirit and the unction of god almighty to let
• 18:46
  you see who god is he's the fourth man in the fire He is the God that will take
• 18:52
  care and supply your every need.
• 18:56
  The God that loves you, and he's personal, and he cares about you.

  Oh, my friend, Jesus loves me.
• 19:08
  This I know.

  Oh, he cares about you, and he's the fourth man in the fire.

  So when all, everything is bad, I want you to remember, you have a butt God.
