Transcript
- 0:00Come on with it. It's time for a hypothetical situation game play along in
- 0:04your car at home is called what do you do? Being that it's Easter
- 0:11weekend? I believe we probably have themed it Easter. I'm sure anyway,
- 0:14but Imana, Yeah, it's funny you should say that, Pike, are
- 0:17you ready for this? Get us going? And if you want to weigh
- 0:19in as well, seven oh one two eight oh one ninety eight seven,
- 0:22we'd welcome your text, your calls. So little Bunny foo Fu is popping
- 0:26over to your house this weekend, and instead of giving you an Easter basket,
- 0:30this is a big bad bunny looks you're dead in the eye and says
- 0:35you won't survive another day unless you either a lose your entire ability to taste
- 0:43for the rest of your life or b you have to wear the exact same
- 0:49outfit every single day for the rest of your life. We're talking Undie's pants,
- 0:54whatever outfit you choose the rest of your life. So, Pike,
- 0:59that's tough. Yeah right? Oh really? Oh well, just wait,
- 1:06what do you do? I would welcome the outfit thing for real? What
- 1:11a load off? No, that you don't have to ever buy clothes again,
- 1:14you don't have to think about it. You don't have to lay your
- 1:15clothes out in the morning, as long as I can wash them. Yeah.
- 1:19But no matter what. So even if well you just announced the other
- 1:23day, Low Standards is going to be there at Happy Harris Ribfast. Yeah.
- 1:26And whatever outfit you pick, are you gonna go that out like a
- 1:30kind of a dressier outfit so you look good all the time. That's the
- 1:34same outfit you're gonna then wear on the golf course. I get it.
- 1:38But you know, for example, like this jacket I'm wearing right now.
- 1:41I've gotten a lot of compliments on that. It's a nice little bomber jacket.
- 1:44It's easy. Just throw it on over anything and suddenly you're kind of
- 1:47dressed up. I just do that. Interesting, okay, I said the
- 1:49jeans. All right, All right, Amanda. It's Easter Sunday morning.
- 1:56At four am. Oh, a day where you've got big plans with the
- 2:00family. You get a knock on your bedroom door. Humhm, we go
- 2:06over, go over and answer it. Well, it's the Easter Bunny,
- 2:09lucky me, and he's been shot. The Easter Bunny wounded. Now he's
- 2:17bleeding bad. Obviously needs medical attention. Your husband, Nick, with his
- 2:23medical experience, quickly acts. He takes off his breeves and uses the elastic
- 2:29band as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. Where is your head right now?
- 2:35As the bunnies breathing shallows, he looks at you and says, Amanda,
- 2:40I need you to finish my root. I only had part of West
- 2:45Fargo and most of Horace left. Oh gosh, I just need you to
- 2:49go leave these baskets and hide some eggs in the houses, probably a hundred
- 2:53houses tops. Yeah, should only take you about six hours, maybe five
- 2:57if you hustle. So, Amanda, oh, man, you don't know
- 3:05if he's gonna make it. I didn't know my husband so talented. What
- 3:08do you do? Of course you do have to command your husband. I
- 3:14do. Yeah, that's really where I got stuck. Now, what a
- 3:17scene. Your husband's naked, the bunny's bleeding. Easter money. Of course,
- 3:23I'll uh, I'll hop right around town. Really, yeah, because
- 3:28I know how that easter bunny works. Now you gotta hop okay, somebody
- 3:31sees it. You gotta kind of play the part. That might be a
- 3:35little challenging, but I'll do my best. Yeah, I'm not gonna let
- 3:38the kids down. No, imagine waking up and the eggs aren't hidden,
- 3:44all right, gos funny you should say that you wake up on Easter morning.
- 3:49Okay, you have two eggs sitting on your night stand. There there's
- 3:55a little note and it says pick one. But they're the little asterisks on
- 4:00the bottom that says one of these eggs is life changing, the other one
- 4:06devastating. You can choose to ignore the eggs or you can pick one.
- 4:13So, Pike, what it's a fifty fifty shot. I mean it could
- 4:19be life changing devastating or do you just act as though and go on with
- 4:24your life in the back of your mind thinking something life changing could have happened.
- 4:27What do you do? Well? Life changing could be good or bad.
- 4:32It's good here. What if I got the life changing one and I'm
- 4:35like, oh boy, and then it means that I get both my legs
- 4:39amputated. Oh see, you're overthinking. I gave you devastating, which could
- 4:45be something like that, and then life changing would be I guess I could
- 4:47have put more effort into it. Yeah, it's almost like you just wrote
- 4:51this before we went on the air. It'd be like a jillion dollars Jillian
- 4:57a Jillia. Oh, that would sink the economy, would drive you crazy
- 5:01not knowing, or you would be what things are? Fine? What are
- 5:06you doing? Can I eat the eggs? At least? No? You
- 5:10either don't touch them or you pick one. Well that changes everything. No,
- 5:14I don't touch him. Really no, that's fine. I mean fifty
- 5:16to fifty's I don't like that. That's just it. Famously like through my
- 5:20life, anytime you got something that could go right or could go wrong,
- 5:24and it's about a fifty to fifty, it almost always goes wrong, even
- 5:28something as little as getting changed in the dark and you have a T shirt
- 5:31and you can't really see which way if it's inside or outside, so you
- 5:34just you just take a shot in the dark, literally every time, every
- 5:39time, every time? Oh man, can one time it just be correct?
- 5:44Oh? Rough everything? Rough life? You got here? All right?
- 5:46A man? A final? What do you do? Believe it or
- 5:49not? It's Easter Sunday morning. However it's the original Easter Sunday. Oh
- 5:58boy, yeah, in your robe, you've just gotten word that Jesus of
- 6:02Nazareth has somehow clawed his way out of that cave and is perfectly fine.
- 6:08And well, now you gotta tell the story. Now you're gonna knock on
- 6:13your door. It's him, Jesus, it's Jesus, and he asks you
- 6:19if you want to come get a cup of coffee now that he's living.
- 6:24Now, your husband Nick is in the kitchen making bread. And you know
- 6:29he would be upset to learn that you, his wife, were having coffee
- 6:33with another man. But you have so many questions. So Amanda got that
- 6:46long flowing blonde hair somehow brown, it's brown here? What do you do?
- 6:54I'm not turning down a cup of coffee with Jesus, the man himself,
- 6:58my husband. Well, this is where we'll have to learn forgiveness in
- 7:00our marriage, definitely, And that's what he would want exactly. And he
- 7:03sounds like he's busy breaking bread upstairs, so it'll be he won't even know.
- 7:10Probably you couldn't even text you. My god, what a scenario.
- 7:15Coffee with the man himself? What do you? What do you do if
- 7:17he gets kind of like if he's like, oh, you're writing him a
- 7:23marry what or no, wait, mom, it's weird. She's like it
- 7:29a minute in the morning, Big Naty eight point seven. A man at
- 7:31Easter weekend, which is very exciting for kids. Your daughter, Sidney's gonna
- 7:34be five? What time tomorrow? I guess isn't that crazy? Where did
- 7:39time go? I don't know for you, it's probably crazy for me.
- 7:42It's like that sounds about right. It just feels about five years. Oh,
- 7:46I just can't believe that. Yeah, so this is the first that
- 7:48it's fallen on the same weekend. So it's just that's one thing about Easter
- 7:53feels like it just happens whenever. You know what I mean. I know
- 7:57there's an answer. I heard it at one point why it be bops all
- 8:01over the calendar, but but it's like extreme. I know, it can
- 8:03be like a month earlier. It could be in February. No, so
- 8:07you're saying your daughter sitting it. You had some questions for her in regards
- 8:09to, of course, the reason for the season, the Easter Bunny.
- 8:13Yeah, I was intrigued by this. So here's the hard hitting sort of
- 8:18Diane Sawyer level interview a man they had with her daughter last night. Where
- 8:22does the Easter Bunny live in a whole? How does the Easter bunny get
- 8:26into our house. He opened the door quietly, and Jed and Jed.
- 8:33She sneaks up the stairs quietly. You gotta be quiet, I little thing.
- 8:39Personally. I did have a couple encounters with Santa Claus as a kid,
- 8:43but I never actually saw the Easter bunny. Yeah, so you know
- 8:46those feet they're just you'd think though with like the hot pop hop. You
- 8:50know they're so light though, Yeah, that's true. I don't know how.
- 8:52I don't even know how big is the Easter Bunny. Couldn't tell you.
- 8:56And then what got you hike? I? Easter eggs? What are
- 9:01in those Easter eggs? Toy toys? Oh? Then where does the Easter
- 9:09egg go? Theast egg we save for next year, recycling East eggs?
- 9:15Smart, smart, very hopefully they're not real Easter eggs. Is the Easter
- 9:20Bunny a girl or a boy? A girl? If you were to be
- 9:24a girl Easter bunny, what would your name be? Keggedy? Kennedy.
- 9:30The Easter Bunny's adorable. So now your Easter Bunny doesn't use real eggs.
- 9:37No, they don't die eggs hard boil. We have not taken on that
- 9:41task yet. No, it's so much fun. The smell. The smell
- 9:45alone, it's like baked in my childhood. That yeah, the vinegar smell.
- 9:50Yeah, I guess I honestly didn't even think about it. Waxy white
- 9:52crayons. You can write stuff on there and draw. They're so fancy.
- 9:56All of these kids and stuff now like where people can make them look real
- 10:00nice. Yeah. So your daughter mentioned that she'll be getting toys for Easter,
- 10:03which is interesting to me. We were talking yesterday and I mentioned that
- 10:07I'd be going over to spend time with like our nephews and stuff for Easter.
- 10:11He said, well, what are you going to get them for Easter?
- 10:13Yeah? I was just curious, like, are you going to bring
- 10:15them a little like chocolate bunny or something? Do I look like I have
- 10:18big bunny ears? Amanda? Did I hop into the studio this morning?
- 10:22Sure, we're not going to get him anything. It's oyster. There comes
- 10:24pikey foo foo. That's what I said. We actually just posted this on
- 10:28Facebook because I'm intrigued by this. When did Easter become Christmas with the gifts
- 10:35and different things like that. I remember getting like the the pre bot kind
- 10:39of Easter basket situation that had the chocolate bunny. Maybe that was how uh
- 10:43hollow those eggs that like maybe a jump rope. They started getting a little
- 10:48fancy. There were some different things in there, but there's a job prope.
- 10:52Do these still exist? Hilarious? I brought that up because we were
- 10:56shopping the other day. In my Dar's like, I want to jump rope.
- 10:58I'm like, that's cool. Is a thing of the past, you
- 11:01know, remember jump rope for her exhausting. But a lot of people on
- 11:07here, of course, are going the candy roads. I tend to avoid
- 11:09that. We always go digging the cushions. Uh the bunny does. The
- 11:15bunny goes and digs in the cushions and put some change in some of the
- 11:18Easter eggs. A lot of people are going like bubbles, chalk, play
- 11:22dough. Yeah, I see that's all I feel like, Okay, But
- 11:24I saw a Facebook friend today they surprised a little early Easter present for the
- 11:28kids, and it's like a three row golf cart. You're kidding, So
- 11:35I tens of thousands of dollars. I heard Little Bunny Fufu was gonna do
- 11:43more something realistic this year, more of a need for the children, Like
- 11:46what well, I see, and that's just it because I also I go
- 11:50back and forth with this uh Santa the Easter bunny uh like something. Usually
- 11:56he's bringing something very small because then when they go to school, well it's
- 12:00like, hey, what did you get? It's like, oh yeah,
- 12:01a chocolate bunny and all of that, and then it's like the three row
- 12:05golf cart is a bit extreme. You didn't get the old easy go.
- 12:11What's wrong with your Easter Bunny? The one thing we did discuss with the
- 12:16bunny himself is trying to do did the easter when you ever do like a
- 12:18scavenger hunt at your house where they try to find the basket for the eggs
- 12:22kind of wore the hunt, you know, right. So there's just been
- 12:26a lot of discussion and this is where it's like, again, my goodness,
- 12:30the pressure, the thought of all of it. Yeah, it sounds
- 12:33exhausting, to be honest. I'll just be at home eating eggs, just
- 12:37scramble them, scrambling them up a little butter, little pepper, and take
- 12:43in a minute in the morning. In this situation, this guy posted online
- 12:48he's on a flight, and there's so many things that can go wrong on
- 12:52a flight. Very few that can go right, like a good flight is
- 12:54just like a boring flight. But this guy sitting in his chair and the
- 12:58armrest next, it's already appointed debate who gets the arm rest? Right?
- 13:03It's either you or the person next to you. But at no point which
- 13:05you consider the person behind you would have rights to your arm rest. But
- 13:09he's got a phone at their foot, you got it? Their skinny little
- 13:13leg sticking between the seats. Oh that is awful, dirty white Haines so
- 13:20standing on his arm rest. Okay, first of all airplanes, I mean
- 13:24they're making them smaller and smaller. Right, I have determined this what flight
- 13:31are you on that you're gonna be able to get? I mean you can
- 13:33barely get your like your arm on the armrest, A little one a leg
- 13:35through there. Well, we do have the name of the offender, and
- 13:39he goes by all skinny legs, all skinny legs, got it? How
- 13:43can you think that that's okay? Now that's the thing, and what even
- 13:48that's one that's so egregious? Can you even find the words to turn around
- 13:50and be like do I need to ask? No? I think what you
- 13:54do and it's it might be passive aggressive. I am grab being that armrest
- 14:01and I am using the most force I can to just like pull it up
- 14:05so that guy's leg just gets jammed and like goes back into the back.
- 14:09And what's your goal there? You're trying to break his ankle? I mean
- 14:11no, but I mean first I would slowly like, oh, bump it
- 14:16be really like get get it out of here. But if you're not getting
- 14:18it out of there, yeah, I'm about to get aggressive. I would
- 14:22just tickle the bottom of the shining Oh and imagine the stank you've been walking
- 14:28in through the airport and then you take your shoe off and you've got a
- 14:31white, dirty hained sock and the jeans are pulled up so the ankle is
- 14:35exposed. Oh god, what are you looking for? A free massage?
- 14:39Here? Not a bad idea. I mean, this has gotta be a
- 14:43joke, right, one of those Hey, I'm gonna do something so ridiculous
- 14:46to see. Well, there's always a chance it's just completely fake, but
- 14:48that's not fun, So we're gonna pretend it's real. Uh. I would
- 14:52give him the look you know when kids behind you are kicking your seat.
- 14:56I don't know if this happens to anybody else. I just must have a
- 14:58permanent sign. And in my back this says kick me, because kids are
- 15:01constantly kicking the seat behind me. The parents just let it happen. But
- 15:05you do the thing where you kind of do a full one eighty turnaround,
- 15:09shoulders and everything, and just look back just to kind of take a peek,
- 15:13like, hey, what's going on? I usually always do that.
- 15:16It's not quite the hay, what's going on? It's the there's about to
- 15:18be trouble? Oh really? Yeah? Is there any other message this space
- 15:24would convince and not wait for you to have kids, because when you have
- 15:26kids, you're gonna be like, oh, what's your name? Did you
- 15:31want to snack? You'll like you'll then turn into fun fun pipes. Well
- 15:35yeah, and I'm not saying I would be the perfect parent, but one
- 15:37thing I'll guarantee is that my kid will not be kicking the seat in front
- 15:41of them on an airplane, and if they do, I will be of
- 15:46course, yeah, I'm just gonna do. I think you realize though,
- 15:50that, Perry. I don't think you realize that parents are either giving them
- 15:52a look trying to not make a scene, or they're telling them to stop.
- 15:56It would be pretty outrageous. Like, you're right, every single time
- 16:00you're flying. I'm not kidding. There's crazy kids kicking you. It is.
- 16:04There's just something about it. Parents just don't do anything. So if
- 16:07you're listening right now, I know you don't want to get advice from a
- 16:10guy who doesn't even have kids, but for God's sake, just please,
- 16:14I'm just gonna recommend you bring snacks next time. Turn around to give the
- 16:17kids snacks and say here you go, brat. Okay, now I have
- 16:21to bribe the kids. Maybe some stickers, yeah, be fun. No,
- 16:25Nope. And Amanda in the morning, No, Amanda stills the sea.
- 16:30Let's see brought to you by JDP Electric and Cowboy Carter has arrived as
- 16:37she did do a cover Beyonce for Joe Lene, which we all kind of
- 16:41expected. Delly parking was not a part of it, and then Blackbird there
- 16:45was a cover of the Beatles, Oh, which was really cool. You're
- 16:48just kind of doing whatever she wants, I know. And then there were
- 16:51some special guests on there. Of course, there was a lot of speculation,
- 16:53who is Taylor Swift going to be on there? She is not,
- 16:56but much to my surprise, and I like this song. Miley Cyrus jumps
- 17:02on a song with her called to Most Wanted Shot, Conrad Jill, The
- 17:07Day I Die, Smoke Out, the in Doll, the four Full Man,
- 17:22any time you threw me for a loop? No, I was thinking
- 17:27you could do it with your girlfriend for karaoke, because how many good?
- 17:30What's like the best two female duet? You know, you get all sorts
- 17:34of one with the men and the with the women. But what do you
- 17:37think of I mean, I think of honestly shoop with okay, rap songs,
- 17:44Okay, I like a vocal performance. Well I don't usually do a
- 17:47vocal performance, as you know. Hit me with your best shot is the
- 17:49only I'm not asking what your karaoke song is. I'm asking who's the what's
- 17:52the best two female duets? I can't think of one. I gave you
- 17:56one and you shot me down. Why you just saying this just a rap
- 18:00song? Not to discredit rap, because you boy love some rap anyway?
- 18:03What other songs are on that little album? Post Malone jumping on for Levi's
- 18:08Jeans and we had to edit it because it's got a little potty mouth but
- 18:11it's a good one. I want to be a Levi Jeen so I can
- 18:29hug that good stuff, real good. I love you loving those little brand
- 18:34placement in the song. You know, Appleby's got it with that stupid Applebee
- 18:37song. Stupid Applebee's song, that's still it. I love that you didn't.
- 18:42You didn't care for it. Of course you haven't just throwing it on
- 18:47for grins and giggles. I guess I understand it. You're still stuck.
- 18:52When lf O was talking about Chinese restaurants, that one probably really got you
- 18:56with the product. There was Abercrombie and fits, I know, but it
- 18:59was still did we used to prank call Chinese restaurant interest think about Chinese restaurants
- 19:04is they don't need to advertise, right? Have you seen them? Mean
- 19:07a guy like you, I think there's a tweet. It's like, when's
- 19:11the last time you saw a Chinese buffet commercial? You don't fun fact it
- 19:15is it's a thinker, all right, fittycent he is I don't. I
- 19:19just don't know who to believe anymore, but he is definitely in the mix
- 19:22with all of this stuff with P Diddy, So P Diddy and fifty obviously
- 19:26have been feuding for years. Well, fifty cent is now seeking custody of
- 19:30a twelve year old son, Sire, following reports of the baby Mama Daphning
- 19:34Joy was allegedly involved in p Diddy sex trafficking lawsuit. So Diddy was bragging
- 19:40about several women who had on a monthly stipend. One of those women was
- 19:44Daphning. So now fifty is saying, this is like a bleep in movie,
- 19:48which I think we all kind of feel this way. Now, plot
- 19:52twist yesterday, this girl is accusing now fifty of rape and sexual assault,
- 19:56saying, let's put the real focus on the true evil act of you raping
- 20:00me and physically abusing me. Then fifty fired back and said this is all
- 20:04false. You're just mad because now I'm protecting our son and I want full
- 20:08custody. Yeah, I know you would think fifty if he knew that he
- 20:15was guilty of that, you wouldn't think he'd be going out of his way
- 20:18to talk all this garbage, I know? Or is it just like a
- 20:22distraction. I don't know, but I'm trying to keep up with all of
- 20:25it. And Tom Cruise, he hasn't had a serious girlfriend in a while,
- 20:29but there was this Russian socially that he was after and they have been
- 20:33together for a while. But I guess they just broke up and the reason
- 20:36is her ex husband. So her ex husband's an international diamond trader, and
- 20:41as soon as they started getting kind of serious, he sat down for this
- 20:47long interview with The Daily Mail talking about Tom Cruise and how he needs to
- 20:51keep his eyes and wallet wide open, referring to her basically being a gold
- 20:56digger. Breaks up with there because of the word of her ex husband's angel.
- 21:00How often would somebody do that? And I guess his whole camp was
- 21:03just like really worried because Tom Cruise tries to keep as private as possible and
- 21:07this guy just loose lips talking about everything and making him uncomfortable. So he
- 21:11broke up with her. In odd to me, he must not have liked
- 21:15her that much. That's only probably Oh okay, fine, I'll break up
- 21:18with the trending. Now here's what you need to know. Just devastating.
- 21:23A man has been arrested for murder after stabbing somebody in the parking lot of
- 21:27Southtown Poorhouse. Police identify the man of twenty eight year old Michael Diedrich Now.
- 21:33Police say that he is not from this area. He's just residing kind
- 21:37of in the city right now. There was a call just before one am
- 21:40on Thursday. The initial investigation determined that he and the victim were arguing and
- 21:44they were both told to leave the bar. Police are withholding the name of
- 21:47the victim citing the ongoing investigation. I guess the kid was only in his
- 21:51twenties. Oh, sad and hoards up buys and fans Ys. Two women's
- 21:56basketball will play the Gophers in the Super sixteen rounds up the WNI. This
- 22:00is tonight in Minneapolis. The game is going to be at seven o'clock and
- 22:03DSU did face Minnesota earlier this season. They lost seventy five to fifty three,
- 22:07but last year they beat the Gophers. Last season was seventy one to
- 22:11sixty fives. A good rival, a good game. Yeah you can watch,
- 22:15Yeah, maybe, well are you aren't you? Everybody's dying to know.
- 22:18I might listen on the the app Bison sixteen sixty because we're going to
- 22:22be doing a little uh oh, my kids aren't in school today. We're
- 22:26doing a little water park thing with the for Sydney's birthdays tomorrow. We're surprising
- 22:30them at a hotel. Don't tell them, I know, hopefully from a
- 22:34Yeah, exactly. And if you've been following along with Gypsy Rose since she
- 22:38was released from prison, it's over between her and her husband Ryan Scott Anderson.
- 22:44Yesterday, she announced because she did delete social media a few weeks ago.
- 22:48She was just over it. And I guess she has a private Facebook
- 22:52account that is not for the public. Somebody dish that people have been asking
- 22:57what's going on in her life and unfortunately my husband and I are going through
- 23:00a separation. She's now living with her parents and she just has a support
- 23:03of them and her friends to guide her through. And this kind of makes
- 23:07me happy. I was kind of thinking she needed just to chill and not
- 23:11have all of that going on. I know how mad you are about this
- 23:14whole second. There's a lot of people who like just made her the star
- 23:17and they just loved her, and I wouldn't even say a star. It
- 23:19was just so intriguing, like watching it all unfolded, I speak on our
- 23:23social media, there's people like treating her as if she's Kim Kardashian. You
- 23:26know what, I mean, like so interested. I get I get the
- 23:29interest. That's like what we're all intrigued by true crime and things like that.
- 23:33But it just got a little munch, you know. I just I'm
- 23:36one of the guys that's like, you know, she'd had her mom killed
- 23:37and despite her mom being a bad person, of course, yes, when
- 23:41do you draw the line? I do her mom probably experience some bad people
- 23:44in her life, which is what made her the way she was. So
- 23:47you can't just kill people, That's what I'm saying. Oh, you definitely
- 23:48can't. You definitely can't. Just I know, I know it's sort of
- 23:52you're an advocate for not killing people, thank you. Controversial, but that's
- 23:56my thought. All right, how about this good Friday four that's going to
- 24:00be a little rain, snow, kind of mixed today. Really nothing that's
- 24:03going to stick around this area. I have about forty looking ahead at ear
- 24:06long Easter weekend, gonna be sunny at about forty ish, like a minute
- 24:11in the morning. On big update on the bridge collapse in Baltimore, which
- 24:17is just on its own crazy yeah right, I mean, thankfully there wasn't
- 24:22a ton of people on the bridge other than the construction workers. Sadly,
- 24:26just horrible, wrong place, wrong time. Since there were what eight of
- 24:30them on there, they rescued one and I think they're still just missing.
- 24:33Not sure. Yeah, they found two that were inside of a truck.
- 24:36But the one survivor. This is where it's interesting. So he did hit
- 24:40the water, you know. They rescued him out of the water. His
- 24:44name is Julio, and his wife is speaking to the media because it's really
- 24:47sad for her. So her husband survives. Her brother in law did not,
- 24:52was one of the missing. So there was some family involved in this
- 24:53crew. But this guy, Julio, apparently his wife said, it's a
- 24:56miracle because he's not even able to swim. I don't know what exactly,
- 25:00you know, what part of the bridge they were on. Did they fall
- 25:03straight down, you know, and it was a tall bridge, which is
- 25:06just falling from the bridge alone, yes, could kill you. But the
- 25:10fact that he a survived that, and then the fact that he can't swim
- 25:14and they were able to get to him in time, it's a miracle,
- 25:15you know. So she doesn't know if they were warned before the impact,
- 25:19but from the sounds of it, they were all on break. They're just
- 25:22sitting there in the truck talking, eating whatever they're doing. Oh my gosh,
- 25:26just devastating. And I mean you're probably sitting there and I wonder if
- 25:30they even noticed the ship, like, because it's probably if they've been working,
- 25:33you know that people are the ships are going by. Did you even
- 25:36recognize that the lights were going out paying attention I mean at all to that
- 25:40or was it so far down on the bridge that you didn't even see it.
- 25:44The boat sent out a made a alert and so police were able to
- 25:47stop traffic from getting on the bridge before it happened. So that's a miracle
- 25:51itself. I missed that part, yeah, yeah. And then another crazy
- 25:53little aspect of it. There was one of the guys that was on this
- 25:56construction crew that at the very last minute was switched to a different shift and
- 26:02so he's alive and only because of that. And you hear those stories all
- 26:06the time, even like you know people on nine to eleven who yeah,
- 26:07called in sick that day exactly miss their flight. Man, it's just a
- 26:11it's a horribly sad situation. Obviously could have been much much worse, but
- 26:15even any loss of life terrible sad, especially in these circumstances. So I
- 26:19had a couple of friends share because now people are talking about like if you
- 26:23were to be in a vehicle that went underwater, you know, automatically you're
- 26:26thinking like open your door or do anything to like bust out the window.
- 26:32And I was reading this article how you are supposed to because your vehicle automatically
- 26:36goes like down, and so the back window goes up, and that's what
- 26:41the one that you're supposed to try to get out of. And you're supposed
- 26:44to take the headrest off of your car seat and go through that way.
- 26:48Here's had to break the wind. I had never heard of any of that.
- 26:49I'm like, these are things that you just don't think about and then
- 26:52you're in panic mode and hopefully you never have to go through that situation.
- 26:56But God, good to know. Yeah, because if you break the window
- 26:59on your window, the driver's side window, it's just instantly gonnaet. Well,
- 27:03the water just flows in and you can't swim through that. Yeah,
- 27:06you know you're stuck in there. Oh just gives me the hebgb's I get
- 27:08a mana in the Morning, Stage ninety seven. How crazy is this?
- 27:14This woman bought a plot of land in Hawaii. Okay, back for her,
- 27:18Yeah right, how cool. But this is back in twenty eighteen,
- 27:21which you know, everything was half the price, if not more. It's
- 27:23sickening to watch, like we'll watch a lot of HGTV House Hunters beat you
- 27:27know what I mean, and if there it's funny how they stopped making them
- 27:32in twenty twenty because as soon as everything went way up, it wasn't quite
- 27:36as exciting. Yeah, no, totally, because it is amazing when you're
- 27:38watching those shows. Really for that much, and if you were to refurbish
- 27:42and go through I mean that piece of land is the property, it's amazing.
- 27:45Yeah. Oh yeah, Well she got this plot of land in Hawaii
- 27:48for twenty two five hundred dollars back in twenty eighteen. Now, her plan,
- 27:52her name is Ann, was to build a women's wellness retreat. Oh
- 27:56on this point, which is very cool, but not right away. She
- 27:59just wanted to get the land now, and so she moved back to California
- 28:03live in her life. Well. Years later the surrounding area, a developer
- 28:07bought the land with the intention of building a neighborhood. Well, somewhere along
- 28:12the way, wires got crossed and a five hundred thousand dollars house was built
- 28:18on Ann's plot of land without her knowing, not her house, not that
- 28:22she wanted hers though. Now right, that's first gets so interesting because if
- 28:26it's on her property, right, obviously not supposed to be. The developer
- 28:32hired a contractor to build all these houses and somehow got built on her property.
- 28:37So now this is the incredible part. She is being sued by the
- 28:41developer. She the one who simply bought a piece of land and went back
- 28:45to California and did nothing, and somehow how she's doing sued. Well,
- 28:51the developers just pointing figers at everybody to contractors. Yeah, because I mean,
- 28:55ultimately it's her property. What are you gonna bull doze down a brand
- 28:59new five hundred thousand dollars home. Well, I mean I don't know,
- 29:00Can you just move in? I don't think she should be sued, but
- 29:03should also she'd be able to just like, oh thanks and move in.
- 29:07I mean, there's got to be a happy medium here, like her paying.
- 29:11But the thing is is, she had an idea of what she wanted
- 29:12to do with it. It's not like she was going to build a house,
- 29:15right exactly, so does she even want the house? That's the thing.
- 29:18So the lawsuit is going through the courts right now. Funny enough,
- 29:22in the meantime, the house is just sitting there and squatters have taken over
- 29:26it, so just out of fun. That was also like another really hard
- 29:30thing for me to wrap my head around. Oh that is okay, yeah,
- 29:33tenant rights, yes, and just to get him out of there,
- 29:36and you can't right, Yeah, I don't know what it is here,
- 29:37but I know, like California famously, right, people can just move into
- 29:41your house and you can't do anything about it. I was actually just listening
- 29:45to something and there was like a show on how how to avoid having squatters
- 29:48come and just like take over your home. I'm like, what life are
- 29:52we in right now? It's hard to believe. It's kind of like the
- 29:55It's kind of like when somebody robs your house and they fall and that they
- 29:57can sue you. It's kind of the same energy, kind of you never
- 30:00even thought about that, but yeah, you know, it's the same in
- 30:03that it's just stupid, you know,
