- 0:00What's going on, everybody, and what's going on, folks? My name is David,
- 0:05and I'm your legendary, legendary host of this legendary podcast,
- 0:09the Deconstructing Topic Podcast, where we grab a topic, we deconstruct it the D-way.
- 0:15But you know what? After all said and done, this beautiful podcast is all about,
- 0:20saving the mind, because saving the mind is saving the life.
- 0:22And I'm just going to be straight up off the cuff here, not word by word,
- 0:27But this is something where someone very endearing to me long time ago kind
- 0:31of told me, hey, David, you kind of remind me of the wolf here.
- 0:34You know what I mean? And I apologize if we do have some little noise in the
- 0:38background. If we do, they're doing some construction here next house to me.
- 0:42So, hey, listen, we make it nothing stop us.
- 0:46Nothing should stop us because we right here just boom.
- 0:51And let me just once again, I give you something that someone told me and is
- 0:56going to lead to what this podcast and this episode is going to be. Let's get it.
- 1:00So a tiger is powerful. A lion is fear.
- 1:05But you won't find a wolf in a circus. Strength isn't just about power, it's about freedom.
- 1:11And let's get in. That's how we start this legendary podcast.
- 1:15I want to introduce people out there to the world. Listen, we could all come
- 1:21from different backgrounds, tradition, religion, so on and so forth.
- 1:24But one thing, one thing that we can agree, how important animals I've been into humanity, I'm,
- 1:31into the progress, regardless of what it is, but sometimes there are times that
- 1:36we do need guidance, and listen, sometimes we kind of go and tune into certain animals,
- 1:43and that was the wolf, and so there we are talking about the wolf,
- 1:46and the reason why being that I was called the wolfman a long time ago,
- 1:51I think I got a couple of people who have me in their phone as the wolfman, oh.
- 1:57Let's go, but we make it happen.
- 1:59Well, I say how old, but it's supposed to be, ooh, maybe that's my best wolf I could do.
- 2:04Hey, listen, you know, I want my voice. I want to reserve my voice so I could
- 2:07be able to do that podcast. Hit the like button if you're already kind of like
- 2:11feeling like, wait a minute.
- 2:12A tiger is powerful. A lion is fear.
- 2:16And you see, you would never see a wolf in a circus because it cannot be tame.
- 2:20A wolf thinks on its own. And one of the things why I was told is that I always
- 2:25get, I always feed the vibe and I tell people that I've done things for the
- 2:29most part all on my own. So now often we see the wolf as a guy.
- 2:34And once again, I'm introducing this to everybody in a sense that if you out
- 2:38there listening to this and now you're in August, in August,
- 2:41my understanding is that the lion is the animal spirit for those people born
- 2:45in August or around this time.
- 2:47And the wolf being November in some parts, could be a snake, whatever.
- 2:52But, hey, we get it because the wolf is something that I vaccinated for a long
- 2:57time ago for some reason.
- 3:00And one of the things, one of the symbols in regards to the wolf,
- 3:03you know, when people think of a wolf, they, you know, kind of,
- 3:07you know, they imagine a mysterious, wild kind of thing.
- 3:11But hey, the wolf, it's a little bit, though, the wolf traits a little bit more
- 3:15different because the wolf, it's like a guy for those who trust your instincts.
- 3:20And a wolf's instinct is crazy because, keep in mind, it's this.
- 3:25Have you heard of the term wolf? I mean, long wolf. And that's what separates
- 3:29the wolf then from a lion and a tiger. You see, a wolf could be alone.
- 3:33Now, obviously, a wolf, when they're part of a pack, a wolf pack, they're stronger.
- 3:39They work together, looking for their next meal, looking to survive.
- 3:44But a lone wolf, and that's where I get that perception of when this individual
- 3:49said, you remind me of a wolf, man.
- 3:52You know, you're just different, independent.
- 3:55And it's always that thing where you know the person was telling me you just
- 3:59trust your inner voice your gut instinct,
- 4:03and when the wolf is lone they basically have to trust their instinct they have
- 4:08to trust that little intuition that they have one of the things that you know
- 4:12with the wolf they independent and they love freedom,
- 4:15that's why again you have the lone wolf and you have these wolf that travel
- 4:19in packs and one of the the symbols that is associated with the wolf is basically that freedom.
- 4:26Again, a lot of people see wolves and see them in wolf packs.
- 4:29It's always that thing. Absolutely.
- 4:33The wolf, you know, it teaches the balance between standing confidently on your
- 4:36own and maintaining a meaningful connection with others.
- 4:40You know, what does that say about the wolf? The wolf is like,
- 4:42okay, are you being true to yourself?
- 4:44I tend to kind of, how can I say, if you guys have listened to my podcast previously
- 4:49or seen my, you know, I'm on YouTube. I'm all over the place,
- 4:52Spotify, Apple, and all that.
- 4:55And one thing that I want to lean towards to teach is that, hey,
- 4:59listen, in order for us to level up to the next phase of our life,
- 5:04we can't be one foot in and one foot out.
- 5:07So, you know, that's that kind of trade that a wolf has. That,
- 5:10yeah, listen, either I'm alone or in a pact, no in between.
- 5:14A lone wolf, you know, is loyal. You know, they care for their, you know, each other.
- 5:20They create family bonds, loyalty, and teamwork. And that's one thing,
- 5:24even at work, even outside of work, even when I do events, it's one of the things that I teamwork.
- 5:30And they become protected of the loved one and the special people that's around.
- 5:34Even though the wolf, and hey, listen, even though the wolf tends to be in these
- 5:38wolf packs, sometimes it would isolate themselves.
- 5:42Maybe they did something wrong in that wolf pack. Like, again,
- 5:45we ask a wolf peck on hunting.
- 5:47If my job was to make sure that whatever, you know, animal, hey,
- 5:53listen, I'm just going to put myself here, take one for the team,
- 5:56make sure that animal falls so we could just, you know, start.
- 6:00But then if I didn't do my job, the wolf becomes isolated. And they know that.
- 6:03And I've seen myself, like, feeling like that way for years or, you know, always.
- 6:09That if I feel like I let somebody down, I isolate myself.
- 6:13Even myself, that if I let myself down, I'm like, okay, hold on.
- 6:19The wolves are like survival, whether they endure, you know,
- 6:22these winters, you know, these hunts that sometimes, whatever it is,
- 6:26these environments, the wolf is courageous.
- 6:31It doesn't stop. I mean, I've, you know, read stories of wolves going for their
- 6:36hunt and even dying, catching their hunt, but they just don't stop.
- 6:41It kind of reminds us that, you know, when you are courageous,
- 6:44then it comes in, especially in difficult times, then it comes with something there.
- 6:50There's many coaches you know that that kind of have heard you know held these
- 6:53wolf in high regard you know the native traditions the wolf it's like a teacher
- 6:58and a pathfinder you know,
- 7:00representing that wisdom that that guidance and that's basically what i've become
- 7:06and that's if you listen to my podcast and i'm pretty sure that you are subscribed
- 7:10if you have not subscribed and it's the first time the second time please hit that subscribe,
- 7:15button if that would help me a lot,
- 7:18But the fact that, you know, the wolf is very powerful and is very connected
- 7:23with certain things in regards to that wisdom, because, again,
- 7:27in my podcast, there's one thing I want to install wisdom to people.
- 7:33I was upset in my podcast. When you listen to it, I'm just not only saving a
- 7:39mind, but I'm saving a life. That's right.
- 7:42One of the traits that the world spirit had, you know, is sharp intelligence.
- 7:47It has appetite for freedom.
- 7:50It has determinationship and leadership, community and connection.
- 7:54See, those are the things that, well, that person and some people's like,
- 7:57wow, you know, indeed. I think it's more or less relates how I can and survive,
- 8:03let's say, alone, done many things alone on my own.
- 8:06But once I get connected, and that's why I'm doing this episode is because I'm
- 8:10letting the world out there that I need a pack.
- 8:13And I need to be surrounded by people. And not only am I, you know,
- 8:16and I know that some people, you know, they got the alpha wolf,
- 8:20which is the leader of the pack, right?
- 8:22And I want to say, listen, I could apply for an alpha, but I could also be in
- 8:29that pack. And it's like, okay, what can we do together?
- 8:33And it's that little appetite for freedom as well. It's like,
- 8:36if you listen to sharing off my previous podcast, it's that when it comes to
- 8:42sharing things, I think on my own. I think independent.
- 8:44And it's that appetite for freedom. I guess that's the reason why I'm an advocate
- 8:49of the independence of Puerto Rico. So let's go for the fact that,
- 8:52you know, with freedom, that's you could do so much.
- 8:56Even if certain things that fail, but at least you're not restricted to just
- 9:00that one path. And that's the thing about the wolf.
- 9:04See, the wolf creates different path and they'll go back to that path and see,
- 9:08oh, this is where I found this at. This is where I found my meal before.
- 9:12So that's why they adapt.
- 9:14So if they then they'll create another path, they adapt to that path.
- 9:19So that's why you know my folks out there that are listening my legendary folks
- 9:23that are listening out there it's why I resonate to the wolf let's go.
- 9:29Probably going to, hopefully, once I edit this, maybe I'll add some little wolf
- 9:33things going on. But hey, listen, it is what it is.
- 9:36Because sometimes I always say my own soundboard is my voice.
- 9:39And I hope that you find this very entertaining and very, how can I say,
- 9:45you learn something from it.
- 9:47Because this is not just listening to a podcast or a podcast episode.
- 9:51But you're being educated and you're taking wisdom. And this is a guidance to guide people.
- 9:56Your little intuition. That's why your little intuition says,
- 9:58you know what? I got to spread this message.
- 10:01Let me know in the comment. Feel free to reach out to me on my email.
- 10:05Let me know what animal you resonate. Again, I'm going to try.
- 10:09I'm not going to try. I'll take it back. I'm going to make sure that on a monthly
- 10:12basis, I bring some of these guidance. Because every time, every month,
- 10:16every day, we definitely need guidance in this life, in this world.
- 10:22Because as a wolf would say, we only have each other. You know what I mean?
- 10:26So you let me know. feel free to reach out to me. I want to say that,
- 10:29hey, it means a lot. And, you know, to value the freedom, to have loyalty,
- 10:34to learn through your experience, to seek wisdom and personal growth in regards
- 10:38to the wolf and yourself and us as humans.
- 10:41That's what I always say. Let's make it happen.
- 10:43So the wolf is just more than just a symbol of one. It represents this balance
- 10:48between independence, connection, instinct, wisdom, strength,
- 10:52compassion, companionship, compassion, I'm sorry.
- 10:57And always remember, trust yourself. If you are aiming for something and you
- 11:01say, I'm in a journey, I'm in a mission, honor that. Finish that.
- 11:06Remember, the true strength comes from knowing who you are. And that's what
- 11:09basically we're all about.
- 11:11Thank you for listening here to this beautiful spirit of the wild,
- 11:15the wolf on the Deconstructing Topic Podcast. Next time, Let's make it happen.
- 11:20Let's stay connected and let's keep exploring the wisdom that nature has to offer.
- 11:25All right. I'm out of here. Peace. I'm out.
