- 4:59Hey, if you could take a Cannon hit the Subscribe button on
- 5:01whatever podcast platform you're on right now.
- 5:03It would really help out the show.
- 5:05Really help me out to continue, providing access to Elon Musk
- 5:09data and information on a daily basis.
- 5:12So thank you so much for hitting that subscribe button now let's
- 5:14get into some SpaceX news because this is the big one
- 5:18SpaceX is Starbase facility on January 23rd.
- 5:22There was a Starship full stack in a full fueled Starship, full
- 5:27stack by the way that's a wet dress.
- 5:29Rehearsal it's a landmark event and that's when Mission teams
- 5:33practice procedures that they will perform on the launch day
- 5:37of the Starship. The fully stacked Starship is
- 5:40395 feet tall. It's a gigantic piece of
- 5:44Hardware but also the ground systems for that day.
- 5:48Where tested every single pipe, every single piece of
- 5:51electronics was tested to see if the Starship was able to do a
- 5:57wet dress rehearsal and a full fuel before the launch of this
- 6:02massive, massive rocket. Now, usually, the Starship is
- 6:06silver. It's made out of a composite
- 6:08stainless steel. And when this full-stack
- 6:11happened, when the fully fueled wet dress rehearsal happen, the
- 6:16rocket turned a glistening white liquid oxygen, 10 million pounds
- 6:21of liquid oxygen, and liquid methane propellant, were put
- 6:25into the tanks of the booster booster seven and of ship 24th
- 6:29is never been done before in the history of the Starship vehicle.
- 6:32This vehicle is important because it's going to be used by
- 6:35NASA to send people to the surface of the Moon in the next.
- 6:39A few years now, it's a first stage prototype booster 7,
- 6:43that's why I'm talking about and an updated upgraded stage 2,
- 6:47which is ship 24. They must pass a few more tests
- 6:51before doing the first-ever orbital flight test.
- 6:56Now, SpaceX unstacked ship, 24 and they're moving it back to
- 7:00the Bay which is where they do repairs or they move it off to
- 7:04the side basically. So the ship and the booster can
- 7:08be So booster 7 can do. What's next up on the profile
- 7:12for this launch campaign? A 33 Raptor engine static fire.
- 7:18Now the significant fueling of this ship is important, you
- 7:24know, it's a step towards spacex's ultimate goal of making
- 7:27Mars and the moon into a settlement and make it
- 7:32economically feasible to send tons of starlink satellites into
- 7:37orbit, at a time instead of you No, they send 10 starlink
- 7:41satellites at a time. Now, they'll be able to send 100
- 7:44starlink satellites in the future easily on a Starship
- 7:48platform. And Ilan has said, once they get
- 7:50everything wired in the get everything figured out, they'll
- 7:55be able to send two three launches per day, possibly of a
- 7:59Starship. So, they could be sending 300,
- 8:03400 darlink satellites in one day, which is incredible and it
- 8:07will break all sorts of Words for the poor and for the amount
- 8:12of things that gigantic rocket has sent into space, and this is
- 8:15the most powerful rocket ever. So, it's capable of sending 100
- 8:19Starling satellites easily. Now also the Starship has been
- 8:23selected for the first, crude Landing for the Artemis program,
- 8:27which aims to establish a permanent sustainable presence
- 8:31on and around the Moon by the end of the 2020s and Starship
- 8:35could possibly land near the South Pole of the Moon.
- 8:39Une in about 20-25 is a test for the Starship, less program NASA
- 8:46and SpaceX have been working together for about, over a
- 8:48decade to compliment their Falcon 9 launch has with the
- 8:53Starship will be incredible. Now this Starship in the future
- 8:59will be designed to be able to land on a variety of surfaces,
- 9:02including the Earth, the moon, and Mars, and will be equipped
- 9:06with six Raptor engines. That's the top part of the Ship
- 9:0924. Then we'll have a payload
- 9:11capacity of up to 100 tons and the spacecraft will be able to
- 9:16carry a crew of up. To 100 people in will be able to
- 9:20stay in them for long-duration Missions, such as a mission to
- 9:24Mars. Now, this is a huge huge leap
- 9:27forward for human spaceflight. And if SpaceX pulls this off,
- 9:32this could be a game changer, not only for human spaceflight.
- 9:37But for humans in general because If we can start sending
- 9:40people to the moon on a regular basis, everything's going to
- 9:43change with this space economy. And we've seen it change
- 9:47recently with the Falcon 9 launch has and how reliable they
- 9:50are, and how much cheaper they are than their competitors.
- 9:55And I will bring you more space, X news, and Elon news as time
- 9:59goes by. So thank you, everybody for
- 10:01listening and I will see you in the next one.
- 10:05Take care. If we can start sending people
- 9:40to the moon on a regular basis, everything's going to change
- 9:44with this space economy. And we've seen it change
- 9:47recently with the Falcon 9 launch has and how reliable they
