Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
• 0:03
  Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
• 0:05
Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous podcast. We're here today to bring you
• 0:08
Speaker 2: the latest headlines and Bachelor Nation. These are some exciting headlines.
• 0:12
Speaker 2: We're very, very pumped for this. We have Heather on
• 0:16
Speaker 2: call here for any explanations I need, because as you
• 0:19
Speaker 2: all know, I need explanations in life. But we're gonna
• 0:22
Speaker 2: dive in with the first headline today, bachelorlum Daisy Kent
• 0:26
Speaker 2: gets engaged to Thor in flower filled proposal in Italy.
• 0:31
Speaker 2: Of course, they got engaged in Italy. If you look
• 0:34
Speaker 2: at Dais's social media, which is a great follow by
• 0:37
Speaker 2: the way, it looks like they live the dream that
• 0:41
Speaker 2: their life is full of love and happiness. In fact,
• 0:46
Speaker 2: Daisy captioned on the photos love you Forever. The two
• 0:50
Speaker 2: of them are now engaged after dating for quite a while.
• 0:53
Speaker 2: We're very excited for them here at the Almost Famous Podcast,
• 0:58
Speaker 2: and we will be watching closely as kind of wedding
• 1:01
Speaker 2: plans start. In fact, Daisy is a friend of the
• 1:04
Speaker 2: show and so I can't wait to bring her on
• 1:07
Speaker 2: to talk about all the wedding plans that she has
• 1:09
Speaker 2: in mind. Here's one thing I promise you their wedding
• 1:12
Speaker 2: will be nothing short of spectacular. Switching gears a little bit.
• 1:18
Speaker 2: Bachelor's Rachel kirconnell hasn't had sex in years, she says,
• 1:25
Speaker 2: despite Matt james romance reveals, she's demi demi sexual. I
• 1:32
Speaker 2: had to look up what this means. I'm kind of
• 1:34
Speaker 2: behind the times here in life in general, anyways, What
• 1:40
Speaker 2: if you're wondering what it means? Demi sexual is a
• 1:44
Speaker 2: sexual orientation in which a person feels sexually attracted to
• 1:47
Speaker 2: someone only after they developed a close emotional bond with them.
• 1:52
  Speaker 2: Forming a bond doesn't guarantee a person will feel a
• 1:55
Speaker 2: sexual attraction, but the bond is needed before sexual active
• 2:00
Speaker 2: is even possible. Maybe that's what I am. I don't know. Anyways,
• 2:08
Speaker 2: here's the deal. Rachel O'Connell has kind of been all
• 2:12
Speaker 2: over social media here recently after an interview she did
• 2:15
Speaker 2: with The Extra Dirty podcast on October sixteenth. This podcast
• 2:20
Speaker 2: dives into a plethora of topics, but they spend quite
• 2:26
Speaker 2: a bit of time talking about Rachel's current sex life.
• 2:30
Speaker 2: A quote from Rachel directly is I feel like a
• 2:33
Speaker 2: virgin again. I haven't had sex and way longer than
• 2:36
Speaker 2: you think it's been years now, if you listen to
• 2:40
Speaker 2: that quote carefully, I haven't had sex way longer than
• 2:44
Speaker 2: you think it's been years. She's obviously hinting tugg in
• 2:48
Speaker 2: cheek to the relationship with Matt James that she had
• 2:51
Speaker 2: that ended about a year ago. But years and a
• 2:54
Speaker 2: year two different things. And so I think what she's
• 2:57
Speaker 2: saying is her and Matt weren't intimate towards the end
• 2:59
Speaker 2: of their relationship. Maybe I'm reading into things too much.
• 3:03
Speaker 2: I don't think so. I think she knew what she
• 3:05
Speaker 2: was saying. And then they go on to talk about
• 3:08
Speaker 2: who she's attracted to, who will come in next in
• 3:10
Speaker 2: her life. At this point, in from a quote of Rachel,
• 3:15
Speaker 2: she's in a what a dry spell is what they
• 3:19
Speaker 2: call that? Next time line is this Katie Thurston reveals
• 3:23
Speaker 2: why she isn't getting a masectomy in a positive breast
• 3:28
Speaker 2: cancer update. Round of applause here it's almost famous podcast
• 3:31
Speaker 2: for a positive update. A couple months ago, Katie revealed
• 3:33
Speaker 2: the news that her breast cancer had spread to her
• 3:36
Speaker 2: liver and is now at stage four. Katie recently started
• 3:40
Speaker 2: a new treatment plan and has opened up previously about
• 3:43
Speaker 2: possibly needing a double misseectomy, but now she's sharing a
• 3:50
Speaker 2: new update and confirming that she will not be receiving
• 3:52
Speaker 2: the surgery after all. Katie posted a picture of a
• 3:56
Speaker 2: report from her doctor that revealed her treatments have been
• 4:00
Speaker 2: working and the tumors in her body are shrinking. We're
• 4:03
Speaker 2: all celebrating the good news. Katie celebrating the good news.
• 4:07
Speaker 2: In fact, she wrote, celebrating the good news the update
• 4:10
Speaker 2: someone with stage four breast cancer hopes to hear the
• 4:13
Speaker 2: medicine is still working, the tumor is still shrinking. This
• 4:16
Speaker 2: is great news and yet a reminder that cancer is
• 4:20
Speaker 2: still there. We will continue to fall along with Katie
• 4:24
Speaker 2: Thurston updates as we go. This is a very very
• 4:27
Speaker 2: exciting update, though, and we want to celebrate these updates.
• 4:31
Speaker 2: We want to celebrate and be joyous in this season
• 4:34
Speaker 2: and also know that there is a long road to come,
• 4:38
Speaker 2: but we hope it's full of good updates. Next headline
